Love this app. Overall I think this app is very useful, if you are new to fishing you can learn how to tie a basic knot and the knots will not let go until you cut it

Nice App. This is a really nice app if your just getting into fishing, or just want to learn a few new knots. Overall one of the best to get, very helpful and clear in the instructions. Would definitely suggest it!

Great for beginners or veteran. This a great app for the beginner or the fisherman vets . I have not been fishing for almost 20+ years and just recently getting back into it . I relearned some old knots and some new ones . Try it out , you can’t go wrong 👍

Simple and incredible. I’ve had this app for a long time now. I’ve used it so many times while back country fishing here in Colorado switching back from fly fishing to my bait caster. It’s also extremely useful for camping or learning new knots you can incorporate into your everyday life. I’ve also recommended it to many of my friends new into fishing. I love it because when you run out of cell service, you still have this to rely on.

No video. This could be by far a better app with a true video. Some of the knots are not fully shown in my opinion but for a quick view and a knot reference it’s ok

Very good would recommend. It is very easy to learn I learned the blood knot in like 15 minutes and in a 13 year old and it only took a couple try’s and they have a good selection of knots and tips

I can tie knots. I had the hardest tome figuring out knots from pictures. This app, and the videos it has really make learning a new knot easy.

Very poorly designed app. To start with, the developer should have consulted a “native English speaker” to help them write the text and instructions. In addition, the app is poorly laid out, so finding knots is extremely difficult. And for some insane reason they did not provide a “search” function so you have to fumble through knot after knot to find the one you’re looking for. After using this app a couple of times, I deleted it out of frustration. Find another app!

Knots with icons that um mean something. I am looking through this app and it’s cool to have all the knots in one place but each knot has icons underneath them and no legend. I think the KG weight means it’s strong? Idk what the percentages mean. I don’t know if the braid or mono word means that you should use a braided line or mono line etc. Useful but too minimal.

Handy to anyone fishing. We often have tied a knot hundreds of times... but,not recently. A visual prompt, or full guide often trigger faded recall. At the water, how handy!

Missing some widely known knots. Was surprised it didn’t show the FG union knot for braid to mono and not even an egg loop knot? Also it would be nice if the app could categorize the knots. Such as knots best fit for mono, fluro or braid. Then maybe take it another step and show knots for hooks, knots for unions (joining lines) and bobber stop knots. Unfortunately I’m deleting it, it’s simply a waist to me.

Best Fishing Knot App. The only thing I have a problem with is the fact that it doesn’t have the rivers inlet knot, a fishing knot even better than the Palomar knot. Other than that, this app is great for all fisherman interested in learning new knots.

Love it (not a bot). It’s actually a really good app it’s easy and full of knowledge and it tells you what knots are for what I just love it!

Super Handy.. Sometimes on a rainy day I’ll take the time to search out a new knot to tie that will add to what I’ve already learned. Enjoy learning new useful knots. I’ll tie them 10-15 times to get them adapted to my memory banks. A really useful app

Fishing Knot App. This is an easy to use app. You can use it experimenting with new/different knots, or just to refresh your knot knowledge. I use it at home trying new knots and for the occasional brain fart out on the water. Quick & simple!

Handy app. The diagrams could be a little more detailed so that trial and error on a new knot isn’t so cumbersome. But very handy to have whether a novice or old pro!

It’s Great. Haven’t had a chance but i did download for future use after camping for an entire weekend. I can honestly say i could tie some new knots with this app just with the image demonstration and would recommend this app to others looking to get into new experiences outdoors.

Knot Tying. Videos are poor quality, they go to fast and a lot of them are covered by the guys hand or you can only see half of the picture.

Could be better. Now I remember why I removed this app a couple years ago. The images aren’t that great. It would help if the images had more variation between the line. Like maybe when one line passed over the other, the line behind should be a little lighter or grayed out so you can really tell the difference between the two and which one is passing over or under etc. not a horrible app…but it’s like the people that design these apps/images do so on a large computer screen rather than a smartphone.

Just learn how!. Knowing a variety of knots will enhance your fishing experience. It’s not difficult to learn with the help and clarity of this app!

Must Get Another or Tolerate Blinking Forever?. Not bad, at a (short) glance. Unfortunately, when I went to click the (purposely) annoying, ever present red notification dot, was redirected to another app, NOAA radar I think, which I am not interested in having, and returned (a couple times to make sure), I realized the developer of this app feels it is okay to have a blinking notification light constantly trying to for e me to download another app I neither need nor want. It never fails to amaze as much as disgust me, how far companies, apps, etc will push things, to abuse us, really, because they feel they might squeeze a few more pennies from us. Shameful!

Great app for knots. Technology has come a long way and being able to make knots and have them at your finger tips is great

Great resource when needing to tie the correct knot. Very good app with all knots needed to tie up most any situation. I have used it several times so far.

Fish nots app. It’s a great app helps me with a lot of my knots especially the ones that are hard to remember I definitely recommend it for others.!👌

Favorites. This is a great app, but I feel it could be a little better if there was a way to select favorite knots so that I do not have to scroll through the whole list.

Straight and to the point!. Excellent tutorial videos. Quick and easy.

Needs sorting and/or search. The videos and information are solid, but the knots themselves are not organized in a way that makes them easy to find. They are not in alphabetical order or any other order that I can determine. There is no search function either. If you are looking for a specific knot, you basically just have to scroll through them all until you find it.

Great Knots. Have been using this for a couple of weeks now and having very good luck with many of the knots that I have been tying. Will be using this app a lot more this summer when the weather gets better.

It’s ok. It’s a good to but there’s a pro app so there is only so much you can do on this one but it’s hard enough to try and understand how to tie a knot but it’s even harder to try to read it on paper and the instructions are decent but it could be better but other than that it’s a good app.

Could be better!. 1. NOT included is one of the best line to line knots, Briggsy’s FG knot...I would NOT get this app for this reason alone! 2. Demonstrations us cord NOT fishing line. While easy to demonstrate and film it dose NOT make for a realistic demonstration. 3. Would be better if this app worked offline as many fishing locals do NOT have internet service.

Fishing nots for all. I really like this app because I can open it up and find the not I need for the situation I’m fishing in like for Texas rigs , Carolina rigs and even catfish as well as nots to use at the coast.

Great app. I will say I don’t use this all the time but it sure does help especially if you’re a beginner at fishing. It could be a little more specific cause it’s gets a little confusing on some nots but you’ll usually figure it out sooner or later.

Nice app. I don’t fish. I don’t have a need to tie knots. There is just something very comforting about this app. It’s like skimming through an illustrated field guide to migratory birds or native plants. It’s clean, simple, well-designed, and informative. The ads are minimal and do not distract from the content.

I must be missing something. Try doing videos of tying the knots with fishing line that springs about, is difficult to hold and tiny to see. That’s a completely different story.

Too many YouTube links. Many of these knots simply load YouTube videos to show the procedure. Not very useful when you have no cel reception. The procedures are not really clear either. Uninstalling.

Fishing knot review. Perfect for giving me a quick review of my knots. Fishing three or four times a year makes me rusty. This app is exactly what I need.

Overall ok with one flaw. The app is handy for most knots. A flaw I found is in the Perfection Loop 4th drawing. The knot is useless if you follow the drawing verbatim. The final drawing shows the not tied correctly but it’s not intuitive.

What’s there is poorly organized. If it happens to include the knot you’re seeking—and if you somehow find it—rejoice! Insert your earplugs and watch the video.
