Not a chance for iPad. Seems like others like for iPhone so maybe try that but doesn't work on iPad. Can't change between different account and activity views which renders it useless. Just look at how many third party CRM apps there are on the App Store. Clearly this one is worthless and others have started to create their own. Hey Microsoft, what's the point? Get over yourself and realize that people will always want to use your software from the apple platforms.

Doesn't work with iOS 8. When will this be upgraded?

Update to Review: Need to fix recent update. Thank you so much for fixing the situation! You hit the nail on the head for what was going on. I can now get back to work which is really great XD It really is a great app. I’ll blame Apple 😜 ORIGINAL POST: I couldn’t find a way to let the company know that the app has completely glitched out with the last update today to the point that I can’t even do my job. I’m quite upset 🤬 I will be happy to change this to a 5 star once this is fixed.

Just what we needed.... Our company uses this app extensively. Works great!

One more star if.... I would give this product one more star if they could fix the Power BI functionality within the iPad application on iOS11. Overall, great product. We use this with our sales force for adding opportunities and they have learned how quick and it easy it is to enter in deals.

Portrait mode!! 2020. I’m not quite sure why Dynamics App like a website inside an app container. No plan to fix this? Also, how come there is no way I can hold the app in vertical mode.

Crashing. Just downloaded the update I've been waiting for and it won't open! It just keeps crashing...SO FRUSTRATING. Thanks Microsoft.

Too Slow. The system is too SLOW. They need to develop a LITE version for sales or train users to understand how to limit some of the functions. Sales people don’t need to see all the various fields and information for everyone. We need to focus on our territory responsibility and not what happens outside of our focus. Who can help?

Interface Inferiority. Read title.

Absolutely the worst. Every time a download is released, you lose all your settings...and this happens often. This doesn’t happen with any other app. I would give it negative stars if I could. Microsoft should be ashamed of itself for a product like this.

Won't Load. Won't open on my IPad. Reinstalled several times but can't get it to work!

Inconsistent app. Works some time, most time it does not. Only iOS compatible if you dot all the I's and cross all the T's. Not enterprise ready.

All things Microsoft don't work on the iPad. After numerous attempts, the downloaded app won't even open. Typical Microsoft.

Crashes at launch. Does not run on my test iPad 1 even after reboot and reinstall. My iPad has IOS 5.1.1 so it meets the requirements. I've only installed about 5 apps on this iPad as it is used to test the Safari browser.

Want to be excited, but.... Not sure what's going on but after the update the icon changed but the version number in "about" is not the same as the version number the update claims to be. Is there something that needs to happen with our admin on the backend?

Advanced Find View. App has been pretty fluid. Everything was working perfectly till the advanced find view stop retrieving results. It just errors out now. This is a big issue for my company since the reporting entity isn't available I was leaning on the advanced views as a alternate way to pull custom results

Getting better, but still needs support for the iPad Pro screen sizes.. This app has gotten A LOT better over the past couple years. Though, the most frustrating part of the app is that it’s been 9 months since the iPad Pro’s were released and the app still doesn’t take advantage of the extra screen space. Please update this app to make use of the iPad Pros.

Becoming more unresponsive on iPad. The last few updates have not been performance improvements, but quite the opposite. Quick lead and activity entries have slowed to a crawl. I have to sit and wait several seconds for the app to respond to my taps and typing. The lag between what I tap/type and what is entered into the field has increased to the point where I cannot use my device to quickly log my activity. What used to take minutes now wastes time. Mobile access to CRM is supposed to be designed for quick data entry, right?

No thanks. This is unusable on an iPad, barely passable on a decent laptop, and still underwhelming on my $2500 dollar high powered PC.

Horrible app. I would give it 0 stars if the review let me. Have been trying to work with Dynamics for the past year. My company has attempted to use Dynamics and integrate it to work with Outlook. Big mistake. I lost hours per day due to the program syncing with Outlook and locking access to any other part of Outlook while syncing. On average 2-3 HOURS PER WORK DAY. My IT department could not find a fix. Nor could Microsoft. It was removed and now life is good. Do not use Microsoft Dynamics. It is not dynamic at all

Finally! Official dynamics CRM mobile app. This is a fantastic app. It is great to be able to finally use CRM from iPad.

App no longer works after RU2 OR SP1. SP1 applied to environment but iPad app still doesn't work. Ugh... The app had been working fine with our environment but no longer works after RU2 was applied. New version of app released on 4/17 but still doesn't work. NOT GOOD QA MICROSOFT!!

Pantalla congealeda. Pensaba haber encontrado un App realmente buena ya que Microsoft Dynamics es un gran sistema, pero cuando trato de acceder se me queda en la pantalla de tips y no camina más.

Have un-install and re-install all the time. This is a very frustrating app. I have to uninstall and reinstall all the time. Every time I try to add an opportunity from the left drop down list it gives me an error code and the grey menu button on the bottom right disappears. On my desktop it works ok, but is not user friendly most of the time there either. My IT eat, even suggest that I don't use the menu on the left to add an opp that way. I have to find a customer first and then add an opportunity from that menu. Very irritating.

Great app!. Absolutely love the new interface with Dynamics CRM 2013. MS did a great job with this.

terrible just use the mobile webpage. had old ipad, did not support. have brand new ipad air2, does not work, am not sure what limited sliver of platform this app will actually work with, works fine on my iphone actually its just a mirror of the mobile web crm version, so guess its really pointless to have this app anyway was part of the team that selected crm over salesforce and have regretted ever since, unbelievable large company like microsoft has not been able to put better mobile solution to crm, as its a sales tool and most sales professionals work in the field on the road

Not ready for prime time. There have been some improvements in the last few releases, but this app is clearly not ready for prime time. It is slow and waiting for it to load is painful. The navigation and user interface is not great.

A Horrible & Frustrating Experience. No matter what I try I cannot get this App to connect to our Office 365 Online application. I keep getting “We can’t find any apps for your role.” Message and there is nothing on the web to sort this out. I copied and pasted the URL right from Safari on iPad, so I know the url is correct. What’s the point of releasing an App that doesn’t work, I’ll stick with the browser.

Not Working on IOS10. Since upgrading to iOS10, this app is not working.

Not stable. Recurring errors in loading the data. App crashes sometimes. Need to include chart views in the app for it to be more useful.

Nice app. Really like the design and functionality of this app on the iPad. Only gave it 4 stars because the swipe up from the bottom doesn't work well since iOS has control center that uses the same gesture. At least they add an icon for it that you can tap, but it is obviously a carry-over from windows 8 gestures.

Great Tool but needs work. Can not open on my Ipad. I am a power user of the ipad and would love to have this working. please fix this

2 steps forward 3 steps back. Improved look and feel with this latest release, but scheduling errors all over the place. In other words, it's Microsoft

Needs more work to be useful !!. Primary issue is that the app does not connect with CRM 2013. We provide path, and app does not appear to locate path to on-premise service. It may be this app only connects to on-line service, and that is our problem, but there is no feedback or error message to advise the user. CRM 2013 is promising. Mobility is important to us, so I am sure this issue will be corrected in time. We are CRM 2011 and operating CRM 2013 in a "sandbox" for the time being. Planned deployment for CRM 2013 is Q1, so would be nice to have this app functional for on-premise before end of Q1.

More frustrating than helpful.... Constant problems signing into the app, server connection issues, "download updates" don't work. They should have a huge BETA tag on this app.

Offline. After update, unable to login. App remains in offline status.

Literally unusable. I am forced to use this abysmal product which barely works online let alone via outlook but it breaks all levels of frustration and disappointment on the iPad. As the title says it's literally unusable on the iPad and don't even try it on the iPhone, it's pointless. I want to get in and get out when updating my CRM. The less time I can spend the better but Dynamics seems to have a different view. It's slow, unresponsive, incredibly frustrating and just poorly implemented. To write up an appointment takes a ridiculous amount of time and I have just given up and gone back to my the online version from my computer. Having this app installed does nothing for my business but take up space.

ipad issues. this app works great every time on the iphone, but only worked the first time on the ipad. Since the first install, I continue to get an error "something went wrong while initializing the app, please try again, or restart app". this app needs a release with a fix for the ipad

Works as expected. We run this I'm a large organization, have CRM on premise, and have not had any issues with connection or other app errors. The few errors we encountered we due to our own JavaScript. To the guy with issues connecting, this app requires an HTTPS connection, without it you can't connect. I find using the app to be more pleasing then using CRM in the browser. Looking forward to future releases that promise offline abilities.

Does not work. The I phone version works, but the iPad version does not. It throws an error, to which there is an ms support reference. That article does not fix the issue. The error is thrown when the setup of the data is running in the app.

Can’t get past the home page.. After typing in website it thinks for a few minutes but the logs you out of the app

App short of features. It's a great app for a few quick thinks and check on existing content in the system. However falls short of creating new appointments, tasks, projects, and most importantly connecting to outlook. So far I've seen no way of connecting emails to a project via the ipad or phone. Also creating an email regarding a project (opportunity) inside the app. This would be the first thing I'd like to see added.

iPad version does not work. After entering company web site address, app crashes out back to the home screen.... come on Microsoft... dynamics is a decent product so what’s going on here?

Works fine but can't create a quote. The app connected to my crm 2015 fine and provides some ok features but I can't see, create, edit or process quotes so not useful for me.

Can not enter Email ?. Can not create leads or contacts using either iPhone or iPad with an email address! Every single time whatever the email address you add it says “ Enter a valid email address”. Really frustrating! All the time have to create the lead or contacts without an email address. Other fields are ok excepts the email field.. please fix!!
