Bad service. Bolt is good but the riders can be dangerous I entered bolt and the bolt rider was asking me to pay more than i am suppose to pay cause i wanted to use cash he said the place was far and i should pay extra but the bolt app said a different amount which is fair It will better for bolt to remove cash from bolt and allow only card payment or make a feature where u can deposit to bolt first then from ur bolt the money should be deducted just like when using card no need to talk to the driver to avoid harm just in someone was killed in Bayelsa cause of same issue this not bolt but can happen too if they ask to pay more the drivers can be very ignorant and cause harm to the passenger so please if u can remove the cash and accept card only and a feature to deposit into bolt and the money will be deducted from your bolt app automatically when the ride ends to avoid long talks and harm just saying cause the drivers can make bolt dangerous for people

Driver asks you to cancel, you’re stuck in app. Almost 40% of the times I’m using the app in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the drivers call you asking if you’re gonna pay by cash or credit card. If card is the case the will cancel your trip because they can’t get the money the same day. Some of those times the driver will wait for you to cancel the trip to save their reputation inside the app, which will make you be attached to that driver who’s driving in random directions for 15 or 20 minutes, without any possibility of getting another trip. They waste your time, zero profesional. If you cancel the trip yourself the app is gonna end up punishing you with more waiting time, and there’s no option to report the driver before the trip starts. For those cases, there should be a report button.

Poor Bolt Driver Service and Client service in Ghana. Bolt has a very poor driver service as well as poor client support service in Ghana, I tried using their service but due to the poor service, I will recommend that NO one uses Bolt services in Ghana. My ordeal was a day that 5 out of 5 request that all request never happened and I ended up using a local Taxi service which was high but reliable. Out of the 5 request for Bolt to pick me to my destination, 4 Bolt drivers ‘ out of the 5 ask me to cancel my trip which I declined doing so since I am not the one who wanted to cancel the trip. The Bolt Drivers’ were giving me some fanny excuses “Sir I am stuck in a traffic, I will be there soon”. While the app will be showing that driver will pick you in 4minutes and this minute has elapsed and it heading to 10minutes. Then then driver will chat you “ if it is taking too long cancel the trip for me” this is one of the excuse from a Bolt Driver. 1 out of the 5 request was more than worse. “the Bolt app indicated the Bolt Driver is driving me to my destination. O my goodness, this is bad for a service provider like Bolt to have this. Hello guys kindly do not use Bolt service at all. Thank you

Unsafe and bad customer service. I had a bad experience with an aggressive/impolite driver. I couldn’t find a way to report the misbehavior during the ride. I called the customers service as soon as I arrived to my destination. I was in a hurry, otherwise I would’ve gone to the police station directly. The customer service was busy. I had to call again and again (apparently they were receiving too many complaints to handle them at the same time). I reported the incident, and asked if I can send them the recorded conversation with the driver by email. They said no, upload it through the app, knowing that the app doesn’t have an audio upload tool. I ended up uploading the file on gdrive and sending them the link via the app. Then I called again to check if they received the file. Again, not responsive. After several attempts I was able to reach another customer service employee who was not able to follow up with me because he’s not the one I talked to on the first time. He said they’re gonna call again. Still waiting ... Total disaster !!

Bolt Nairobi. First the biggest problem is the app, you are in hurry in the city there’s no traffic/ no jam , then there’s driver will accept that is far away 10 or even sometimes there’s rider an you will be waiting to drop the other passenger off and come to you ridiculous and there’s drivers that free maybe away from you like 2 /3min and then app says don’t cancel in drivers, is just ridiculous. Secondly some drivers are inappropriate with their costumers. Just they’re absolutely no no for me and I will cancel it. Last but not least the most worst one drivers will be driving unmatched plates number telling you is okay face matters low key creepy driver or they will be saying the car isn’t working today or i will change soon I just forgot about it, ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE . No MY SAFETY MATTERS. I can confirm is majority of them. Fix those issues ratings don’t matter when it comes to safety.

great app,. the app works amazingly there’s no issues here in spain other than the city regulations that force you to wait a few minutes before ordering a ride. however it’s confusing to see ride in comfort costs less to a regular Bolt when it’s rush hour. the app works great though the drivers are great, the cars are amazing i got picked up in a bmw. this app is also cheaper then uber when i compared the two and it takes less time for a Bolt rather then a UberX to arrive, love this app 🤗

I’m new to Bolt. I have used Uber in America, but Bolt has given me some trouble and I’m still not sure what I need to do differently. I have not been able to tip my driver at the end of my ride both days I have tried. I even asked one driver if I was doing something wrong, but she was not aware that the app could block an add on tip. I also had to cancel 3 different rides because of confusion about whether my credit card was approved for the ride or whether I had to pay with cash. I leave Budapest tomorrow so my life should be simpler 2 days from now.

HORRIBLE !!!💔🤬😡. Wouldn’t even advise my worst enemy to use this app. It’s a BIG SCAM! I took a ride which was meant to be 4500 but an additional 2k was put to it. I ended up paying 6500 for my ride. After my ride, I got an email from taxify showing the amount the ride was(4500).I quickly sent an email to them saying that I paid 6500 for it and I wanted a refund of 2k back. After carrying out the investigation, they asked me to send my account details so as to make a refund, which I did. For 5Good weeks I kept emailing taxify saying I haven’t gotten a refund back and they kept replying my emails saying they would make the refund soon and I should wait a little. To cut the long story short, I never did get a refund and a two month have passed now. In as much as Uber cost more money, I would rather use their app because I know if anything like this happens, before the week runs out i would already get a refund. Plus their employees are very professional. Taxify just picks anyone from the streets and Gives them the job! Stupid

This is more like a compliment. Bolt need to gives an award to one driver of yours so sad I wasn’t able to rate him but he is the kind of one most honest being I never seen... I did a transfer to him yesterday when he dropped me at my destination but unfortunately I made x8 of his actual amount, I didn’t even notice till the next day which is more than 24hrs, immediately I called him and he said he has called the number I registered with bolt and I checked the phone and I truly saw his missed, he asked me to send his account number and send me the money with hesitating... I think he deserves the best bolt driver of the year... His name is Osemene Andrew Okudili His plate number : KSF61GQ

Very disappointed with this company. I am using Taxify in Tbilisi, Georgia. They say one price but charge you with more almost always. Today was my final ride with them. The initial price said 4.10GEL but I was charged with 6.10GEL. Thank you very much, taxify! I am going to delete this app and never use their service again. They used to say a range of price before the update but they've "updated" the app to say only one price which is almost never correct. So don't trust the price it says initially, you will be charged way more. I submitted 2 claims for being overcharged and they sent me promo codes to return the overcharged amount but I am done with the claims, it just keeps happening over and over again. Be aware, you will be charged with more then it says, at least this is happening in Tbilisi, Georgia.

SAD and BAD. I have 2 Bad and Sad memories with BOLT First is around 1 year ago with some aggressive driver who mad problem for me and my business partner during the trip ! And already Bolt just in a funny way promised us ! They will punish this guy ! ( Oh Mama ) The second is about 1 day ago ! I just forgot to finish my ride ! and they took from my bank account 90 PLN ! That’s really sad because imagine maybe I got some accident and I dead ! You should charge someone who didn’t use your scooter !?? That’s really big and bad bug BOLT or if it’s for some other reason there ! It’s really SAD because it’s kind of stealing money from people ! I am mentioning again ! I just forgot finished my ride ! and you could check with GPS it didn’t move anywhere! And for what reason you charged me ! I delete your app, as I got from my first story so far so good ! You don’t care about your clients you are just thinking about money ! If you care about your future clients update your app very much fair ! I hoped for rating I would use the 0 star but that one is very much enough for you BOLT !

Bad experience. Everything is great the prices are amazing and affordable and fair But my experience yesterday was not good at all , I order a taxi and it arrived on time after a few minutes in the car the driver told me that the company cannot makes update and change the prices with using a bad Bad language ( cursing the employee of the company and the company ) he told me I have to pay more if I want to continue my ride I told him I will pay the amount that the company asked for , and he said I cannot take you to your destination , he dropped me of and I had to order another taxi waiting in the street , I like you guys and your company is the number one right now I lebanon , don’t change this number keep the good work .

Not being considerate to drivers. Bolt is like a rip off... You work work work buy fuel pay commission and end up with a token. If your car develops fault, you’re a gunner! There should be conditions such as increase in fare if there are more than one passenger but bolt never looked into this.. The fare charges are too low compared to fueling ones car... One can be living from hand to mouth without any savings and that’s not a life bruh! If bolt really wants to help and impact lives then a good review should be done and stop all these nonsense driver rate or acceptance rate... bolt should also consider drivers location to a rider and add that to fare cost. Bolt is being unfair and if it goes on like this, sooner or later it will take a toll on the company.. That is if they care though or care “less” afterwards they (owners) already made billions of naira..

Seriously bad - app, customer service, routes. My first booking was in London and the driver said he is stuck and would take 15 mins instead of 4 mins, so he can cancel. We agreed to cancel and I still got charged £6 cancellation charge. Customer service [Stefan] is unhelpful, outright rude and dishonest. They refuse to reverse the charges, £6 is not the concern but by principle putting the customer in a helpless situation is — if I cancel I get charged, if driver cancels (or not) I get charged. Since Bolt has access to my credit card, they think they can charge me whatever. Driver sounded genuine on the reason to cancel but it seems Bolt is happy to fraudulently collect the fee from me anyway. Being the only alternate to Uber in London, this app seemed a necessity but they’ve lost my trust. And Stefan, thank you for your coupons but they will not compensate for your dishonesty and outright lies.

Worst app ever. I’m highly disappointed, you guys don’t have a number to call for complaints and issues. I made a complaint about one of your driver who took my money away, made a transfer with quick teller which went and I didn’t know at the time went ahead to withdraw form him again and I started calling n messaging after I was debited twice and he blocked me… sent my bank statements as proof and still you guys didn’t reply my messages or treat my complaints. I have had a poor experience, bad actually and I’m never using your app again. So I’m sending this to you guys to let you know I will be taking laws into my hands since you guys can do nothing…. I’m so full of regrets all thanks to your useless app.

How many app designers are there in the world?. And why can none of them make a functioning app? This app is worse than Uber, and Uber is a frozen toilet seat stuck to your thighs. Imagine functioning more poorly than that. Bolt did! Then they made it! How many app designers exist in the world and not one of them can make a basic yet functional app?? Or y’all are paying your terrible friends or something but JFC, get it together. There is no map function. When you go to schedule a ride, it changes the address if you aren’t at that spot. Why can’t I schedule a ride to the airport before I get home? Is that truly too complicated for you? And why can’t I SEE A MAP of the ride I’m scheduling so I can make sure this trash app is doing what it’s supposed to??

Very disappointed. My husband and I are two regulars, we use Bolt almost every day in Malta and sometimes in London. Today I was in London and I needed a car to go to the airport and after waiting several minutes for Bolt to find a driver, we finally found a car that was supposed to arrive in 13 minutes. After several minutes of waiting, the app timer increased the wait to 14 minutes. The car seemed to be stationary and changed direction. So I decided to cancel the race. I was charged £8 for canceling! I tried to contact customer service but doesn't seem to be anyone there. No response despite sending several reminders. This service is very disappointing, especially considering that every month my husband and I leave them a lot of money for various trips. Customer service Bolt London is a joke. From now on I will take Uber when in London.

Consistently wrong home address. Every time I initiate a search from my home address (which is saved in my profile and hasn't changed for about a year) I have to manually change "Where from" which is off by two houses EVERY TIME. My house number (saved in profile as Home) is 30 but for some reason it always sets starting address to house 26. So I have to manually change my From address every time. Very annoying! Update: this issue has been fixed for me, my home address is now correct by default (yay).

Stealing from Drivers. I have used bolt in the past about two years ago and didn’t have this issue then but now after a ride completes it asks you to rate the driver which i rated ours 5 stars. On that same pop up it asks if you want to leave a comment or continue, i clicked continue to add a tip but was shocked no such thing popped up. The ride was marked as completed and then when i went back to the ride immediately it would not let me add a tip. After unsuccessfully trying to add one i reached out to customer service immediately and they took forever to reply back! First they said there was no way to add it, then they said i should have added it within 15 minutes of ride completion but that’s NOT AN OPTION! I would rather pay slightly more and use Uber than to not support drivers.

Dangerous drivers. I use to consider bolt safe and reliable until I encountered a very dangerous driver. He was rude, abusive, intoxicated and dangerous. I even tried calling the local service number provided by bolt for safety in my country but they said they had no relation with bolt and had no idea why their contact was provided. When I reported the ride, it took bolt a whole day to even respond that I didn’t even see it. When I finally saw it, they considered “flagging” his account a solution. My surprise and confusion got me to review the app. He was even using someone’s account. After bolts response, it finally dawned on me that the driver was bold in his actions because he knew his employer won’t do anything about it considering I was even pregnant.

Unannouced increase in fare. Don’t you think you should warn customer that the fair has almost doubled before directly deducting it from the card? I took a ride and we got into traffic jam and the driver had to do a bi detour because of the road construction. Because of that I tipped him off in cash before getting out of the car, only to fund out that the program had already generously compensated him for the extra mileage even though I had checked the fare just before leaving the car and it hadn’t changed. You shouldn’t just adjust the fare to your liking without giving a notice!

Terrible experience with app and map and support. Bolt let me pick up a scooter in some kind of no parking zone. And only when you start going do you realize the speed is limited to like 1 mile per hour! And you can’t end your session in that zone. So I had to push the scooter (with the brakes on) for over a mile before I could return it. I tried to chat with Help, but they never answered. Extremely frustrating. Also on the bike it would slow down to like 3 mph and be very hard to move in seemingly random places. Maybe coincident with no parking zones or something, but to know you would have to spend a lot of time on the app panning around in the map (which is slow) to preview each part of your route. The whole experience was frustrating. Walking would have been faster. And Uber was cheaper.

Terrible and Frustrating App. The current location feature doesn’t know the meaning of accuracy. Bolt always like to estimate that your location is in the neighboring city which always about 10km away. Mind you this is the same feature that other ride share applications use, but this issue always happens with Bolt. They should prompt the user to either select the pick address or use current location service, but they for some reason decided to make everything inconvenient. Apart from the outrageous pickup wait times, which could span for about 30 mins all while the app still says driver is 2 mins away, the driver license registration was wrong. I was expecting the license plate number listed on the app, but in reality it was completely different. I don’t understand why they don’t do driver information check up. It’s a matter of safety and safety should be their top priority. Sadly, it’s clear that money is their number one problem.

Mediocre equipment, bad app, horrible support. I used Bolt scooters and bikes all over Krakow for several days. I had poor experiences with the Bolt scooters, many being under powered, not recognizing clear corridors between red zones, and misrepresenting the available power. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times, including once just to end a ride because the app froze and wouldn’t let me stop. I also had the app freeze at the end of a group ride and only let me finish one of the 4 scooters in the group. When I contacted support, they kept asking what error message I got, and either because they didn’t understand me, or were being intentionally obtuse, would not accept any explanation I tried to give. I uploaded photos of the scooters parking spots, screenshots of the 1st scooters’s completion and tried to appeal to them using their own data, it to no avail. The poor app ended up costing m an additional 45PLN, more than the original ride cost and their support team refused to refund my money despite the overwhelming evidence I presented. I would suggest using Lime or Tier or Bird but never again Bolt.

The absolute worst. Do not waste your time and money!!!. I tried to use it twice today. First for an airport pick up it told me to go to a specific pick up area. The driver went somewhere else. Then he couldn’t find where I was and I don’t even know if he was looking for me. Then he stopped answering. I was forced to cancel and pay a 15 euro cancellation fee. I gave it another try for a simple ride within the city. The app mis-located my gps position by a block. I couldn’t correct it. I tried calling the driver twice, messaging, and sharing my location with him not willing to drive around the corner in the pouring rain (the reason for the ride) to pick us up. He drove around elsewhere except where we were for the free wait time and then cancelled on us, costing me another 7 euro fee. I’m never using this unreliable app with shady drivers.

No route planning for scooters/bikes to help avoid dead zone. App is mostly fine, though loads very poorly on slow connections, BUT it’s incredibly frustrating to not have route planning for scooters, especially when there are dead zones all over a city. I use Bolt as a tourist to get around cities I don’t know very well. I can’t see my destination on the Bolt map, and I can’t input it there, so I have to switch to Google Maps to navigate. But Google Maps doesn’t know where the Bolt dead zones are, so I often end up having to stop, flip back and forth between maps, drag the nonworking scooter back out of the dead zone, and try again. This typically happens at least once a trip, and I can see from how the Tallinn city is covered in dead zones that it’s going to happen multiple times today. You have route planning for cars. Why is it so hard to add for more environmental scooters/bikes?

Outdated maps and cannot tip driver!. I normally use the U*** competitor, but received a discount promotion for Bolt. The reviews I read claim you can tip the driver within 15 minutes of completing the ride. I was short on change so thought I could just tip in the App. Nope. I then read that one has to apply the tip within 15 minutes of the end of the ride. Still, nope. It really irritates me, because these guys are out driving for this company on holidays and I can’t give them a little extra for their efforts, while Bolt corporate still generates revenue for shareholders…. In addition, I’m not sure what geo location map they use, but it needs to be updated, as I have had to cross the street on several occasions with heavy bags, after realizing they can’t find me. The second time it happened, they were off by 3 km! I would have had to eat that fare had I not noticed it. Bolt developers, you need to step it up!

They may overcharge by 70!!!. I was using this service to n daily basis. In most cases drivers are professionals, but last time I got driver who didn’t know rotes or specially was driving wrong directions to increase driving time. When we riched the destination application showed 70% MORE amount than ride costs. Regular taxi would take 16-20 GEL but this application charged 35 GEL !! CARL 35. Even driver was surprised by this amount, when I said it’s too much driver said that application sometimes overcharges, he agreed with me but said if i won’t pay he will have to inform Taxify to block me. So I payed having hope to refund that amount. I contacted them trying to proof that I was overcharged, asked them to check rotes driver took. Young woman from support checked and agreed that driver took wrong directions and it made about 4 additional KM and didn’t say anything about crazy charge they took. So they agreed that driver was hitting cycles around city( we several times argued) and agreed it was too expensive but they do not gonna refund. So if are ready to be overcharged because application decides that you are capable to pay go a head. I was using this app to go to work and back everyday and I had five star rating, but decided to delete it.

Allow for Pick up location edits. The app is fine. Easy to navigate and the selection of transportation options are also quite nice. Only issue is there is not pickup edit option. I’ve had several times where I’m in an area not suitable for pickup so I walk to a better area but if there is a wait for a driver pick up and I finally get a ride it won’t allow me to change my pickup location. I have to end up walking to the driver and getting charged bc maxxing out the free waiting period. A change in pickup is difficult to communicate especially in another country. Fix this please as it is incredibly frustrating.

GPS for pickup is not working correctly. I used Bolt twice in Budapest. Then on my 3rd attempt the driver passed us and stopped two blocks away. Fortunately we saw where he stopped and he was still there as we inconveniently had to run to catch our ride. The next time I used your app (also in Budapest). The driver had an incorrect pickup location. We used the chat feature to contact the driver to give him a precise location but he could not be bothered and cancelled. I am now in Vienna and the first time I used your app the driver went to an incorrect location and cancelled. Tonight (also in Vienna) we saw the driver stop about a block away and before we could get there he cancelled and drove away. We have never had issues like this whenever we use Uber. (Also, their price is always lower). You need to correct this problem while you still have customers willing to put up with an app that cannot locate the correct pick up point.

Frequent Traveler. As a foreigner, visiting from the United States, my experience with bolt has been a 7/10. I use Bolt mostly in Romania. My experience with the drivers are a hit and miss. Some drive out of control and some are safe. I would recommend making it a requirement for Bolt Drivers to know English as well no matter what country Bolt is offered in only because there will always be travelers from the U. S. Being able to communicate with the passenger makes the ride more fun and safe. As for the app, it is easy to navigate. I like how you can see where and who the driver is. I like how you are also able to track your ride as you go along.

So when you have an incapable driver who gets lost coming to get us and pickup time triples, I have to wait for the driver to cancel or I pay. Why wouldn’t you have something built into the app to support the consumer/buyer when such a situation occurs. When you see the potential driver going in circles 6 minutes away and pickup time stays at 6 minutes while you wait 15 minutes, you should have a way for the buyer to get out.

Unreliable. Leaving a review has an opportunity cost. I don’t want to waste my time leaving a detailed negative review because it’s just not worth my time. For Bolt, though, I’ll make an exception. I decided to try Bolt for the first time this weekend. I was in a rush, and Uber wasn’t connecting me to a driver. I downloaded Bolt, thinking I’d give them a chance to win me over. This was a Friday. Bolt tried to connect me, failed, then reconnected to a driver, failed again. At that point, my Uber had connected so that’s what I used. Flash forward to Sunday. We’re in London, pubs are closing. My wife and I are ready to go home. The bus (love it) will take 45 minutes. Uber will take 20, but costs an arm and a leg. Bolt is half the price, and only adds a couple of minutes of wait time. I select Bolt. A six minute wait turns into a six minute wait. And another six minutes. Three minutes have elapsed, and it’s still a six minute wait. I’ve been connected to a driver - hurray. Except my ride is cancelled. I decide to take the bus. My wife wants to try Bolt on her account. We connect to a driver. A three minute wait turns into a four minute wait. The driver cancels. We end up taking the TfL bus. It’s reliable. I delete the Bolt app. I leave this review. I hope that others don’t make the same mistake. Peace out Bolt, good luck ✌️

Waste of time. Waited for Bolt for over an hour in Manchester, ride was cancelled multiple times and yet kept showing drivers around. Unfortunately good public transport seems to be lacking in Manchester as well, nothing was available to get me to my destination that was literally only 2.5 miles away. Thank the lord for the black cab drivers because they at least seem to take their jobs seriously. I wouldn’t even bother trying Bolt because you’ll just waste your time and make an already miserable experience of going through the airport even worse. If you’re in London just take the public transport, I can guarantee it’ll be much more worth your time (literally takes the same amount of time to arrive that it does to use any rideshare) and save you tons of money. If you’re outside of London, just take the black cab and give your money to people that deserve it.

Your app has so much bugs. Your app has so much bugs that is neither reliable for drivers or riders. I can’t count him many times it gives wrong ETA of driver. Sometimes I hail a Taxify and it says the driver is 5 mins away when he has arrived. Other times it says driver has arrived when he is still far. The turn by turn navigation is also very poor. It lags and is not current. Driver would have made a turn before the app reflects this. Also the app refuses to pull up my home address when I hail a Taxify. Sometimes it also directs drivers to the wrong place. So, I can go on and on. Get good developers to work on your app. The quality is very poor. Very poor. The. I can review and it seems with each update nothing is done to make improvements.

Useless app. There are issues with the app. First of all, customer location is inaccurate. Use it the first time, never saw the bolt taxi driver. App kept saying driver is here but was never able to find him. Had to cancel. Second times I used it I specifically dragged the starting location to beach rd on central festival mall. Driver still ended up on central festival mall side. Tried message him. He never replied or try to go to where I was on my app. Driver cancelled the ride. Third time driver stated that he is only allowed to take 3 people but app said 4 seats. I assumed it was for 4 customers. No, it means car has 4 passenger seat. Doesn’t really make sense does it? Driver charged me 25 baht more for not kicking us off his car! Apparently only taxi can take 4 passengers. Fourth time, it was raining. Waited for driver to show up. Never saw him. Through the app I saw him continue to take the route I was going to take except without me and charging me for it. Never had this issue with Grab. It is true Bolt ride are cheaper but the app is not very dependable. It is a hit and miss using the app. I really wouldn’t recommend the app till they got the problems corrected.

On time! Great rates!. We used Bolt the entire time we were visiting Tblisi. They were very efficient. Average wait time was no more than 5 or 6 minutes. You have the option to pay a little more for a vehicle that can get to you very quickly( 2-3 min) or if not in a hurry, you can wait an average 7-8 min during peak traffic hours. We are Americans and the drivers do not speak much English, but they communicate well enough to navigate. All that we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Need to improve on hiring drivers and improve their customer service. Our driver took us around the city … thinking we don’t know directions . We were obviously from other country and speaking with my daughter other language .. however I was born in Kaunas so besides cigarette smelling car driver was telling me he is going right way and at the end we were overcharged and the only reason I want people to read this just because principal thing .. Bolt couldn’t give me a refund of overcharged trip even though they agreed that driver really should have not taking that route on our behalf … no big deal but I do not like being fulled and most importantly me and my 5 year old daughter got scared at some point when driver took a highway for prolonged trip …not going to use this service again because it’s poorly handled… they gave a credit to bold account for extra charges that only can used with bolt within few months Hello we live in USA and come there once a year ! So keep your refund to improve your services Good luck !

BOLT IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. BOLT is the Worst company in the world, there is no reason fir their work, their job only to get ur money without any support, before 4 days iI forgot my back bag in Bolt’s taxi in Paris (contained laptop, iPad, phone and confidential documents), i shared all the data of the driver (name of driver, picture of driver, plate number of the car,…etc) with the support team but no action from their end, they just advised me to contact police !!! even they couldn’t reach the driver !!! I think this this company registered its drivers without any data or security clearance as following on other companies !! I asked them to share with me the phone number of the driver so I will reach the theft driver directly, but no response from their end, this company should close and proven from work in Europe because their services are useless and they just steal money. For me, I hired 4 lawyers to raise an official case to French authorities to close this company because they are thiefs.

Great service in Bucharest. We have used Taxify for a week while visiting this city and must have taken 20 rides - every one of which were superb - and the price very reasonable. Several of the drivers spoke excellent English which was a real help as a tourist. We never waited more than 5 minutes and in contrast to the regular taxis we were never cheated on the fare. One thing- Taxify should add a place to add a tip when rating the drivers. I wanted to do this several times when the driver was especially helpful. Overall I was very satisfied with this excellent service.

Bolt is not cheap and affordable and it’s full of extortion.. I use bolt app up to 2 to for times a day. What’s annoying is the fact that the rider asks you to level up their dedicated prices because the generator of the app is incapable. I know this would be swept under the rug and possibly not being tackled. I don’t imagine someone being at the verge of death but keeping her calm yet, some driver giving you negotiations when you are in their cars. To crown it all, when it is midnight, it is four time the bolt price, I have reported many riders and you guys didn’t do anything about it. Also, they cancel on us without our knowledge after picking us up to our destinations and end up negotiating the price once we wan our destinations. Is this bolt strategy or driver’s strategy?

Terrible App that Works about 50% of the time. I’m guessing most of these reviews are paid for. No way have all these people not encountered the same issues I have. I’ve used Bolt for about a year now. The fundamentals of the app are fine if not a little clunky. The issue is with the service. Drivers cancel on your CONSTANTLY. They also intentionally double book. I can only guess this means to get to the general area and see which ride is longer. This has meant at times I’ll wait 10/15 minutes for a Bolt to just have them cancel. Now, at least 10 minutes in the hole I have to start the whole process over. I assume as well that there are no penalties for drivers to do this. Cabify is slightly better but suffers from similar issues. Though they don’t cancel quite as much. FreeNow is better but it can be very hard to get a cab at peak times. The stupid cab union booted out Uber for some time but it’s sort of back and I’ve heard it’s getting better. Either way, when Bolt works, it works fine. But with so many issues I end up a half an hour late or more (just like today)! Thanks for nothing.

Not safe to ride with, dangerous for travelers. My first ride I took with them, the driver picked me up and took me to a location out of the way to where I was going. He got out of the car and told me someone else would be driving me. I told him I want to just get out and call another car and he blocked the door and wouldn’t let me out. The new driver came in, and started diving but the driver in the app was not him. He didn’t know where we were going and didn’t have the Bolt device with my profile. This was just some stranger off the street now driving me. He made a bunch of turns and again went out of the way of my destination. It took an extra 30 mins on top of how long my ride should have been. I asked for a refund and they offered me a 5 euro credit. Terrible!!!

Charged for a ride I didn't take. I was charged for a ride that happened without me. The ride was completed to the destination despite the fact that I was not a passenger. I reached out immediately to the customer support team, who professionally requested indisputable proof of my absence on the ride. My explanation was deemed inadequate, so I'm left having paid for both the fraudulent Bolt ride and my actual transportation need. Though I appreciate the timely communication I received, I strongly caution any user who uses this ride service. I would not recommend this application to any of my friends and colleagues.

Why is it so difficult to get a ride?. I've been using this service in Azerbaijan for three years. Over that time the quality has gotten worse and worse. It generally takes about five or six tries to actually get a driver to show up. Most of the time they never move, or else get to a place and then stop without responding to calls or messages. Worst is when they call and ask you to cancel – if you cancel too many times Bolt locks you out of the app (great customer service!). It's really a very frustrating experience. My suspicion is that part of the problem with the service is that they pay their drivers almost nothing. For example, a 15 minute ride might cost 1.75 USD, depending on the time of day. I'd gladly pay four times this if I only had to request a driver once and if the car had a seat belt when it arrived.

Scam and Rides No-Show but leave u waiting. I wish I could tell you how the ride was but none pick me up, just make me wait 20 minutes before cancelling, then reconnecting to do this with a new driver again and again. Tried on two different days in the center of Paris, matched with 6 different rides but they all cancel on me. They have no customer support because you can only complain about completed rides. I wanted to pay to use your service but the cars would drive around for 15 minutes then always cancel. Driver doesn’t answer calls or messages about what is going on. Not sure if your drivers actually exist. Always gave up and just used Uber which showed up in two minutes. Uber is much superior, just wish I could get money for the time wasted trying this joke of an app.

Useless. Registered for an account using all of my personal data, after registration, the app doesn’t let me request a ride with any of my international credit cards that works perfectly with every merchant in foreign countries. The app doesn’t even let me request a ride with cash payment option, since my account has “suspicious activities”, I haven’t even had a single ride, what suspicious activities????! I’ve decided to walk to my destination instead since none of the payment options were working. A few hours later, I get a notification from my credit card company saying €30 was charged for a Bolt Food order in Latvia (I was traveling in Georgia)!! I definitely did NOT order this and froze my credit card immediately!!!! Not only does this app not work, it also leaked my credit card data. I tried to cancel my bolt account immediately but the only way to do so is to contact support. Support hasn’t responded to me in over 5 hours, this is completely unacceptable. Never again.

Nightmare drivers. My 15 year old brother decided to go to place that’s 7 mins away from home as he sat back in the car the driver insisted that he comes to the passenger seat and started to try kidnap him by saying “I have a PlayStation in my home wana play?” But my brother was smart and scared the driver by saying my dad is tracking my phone and he’s going to come to the current location if the driver goes the wrong way and the driver tried to sexually touch my brother in Saudi Arabia kissing someone’s nose shows some type of respect but we are from Egypt so we don’t do that the driver kept touching his hair’ inner thighs’ hands’ and took advantage my bother had shorts on as he also kept touching his knees and the driver acted like he was helping my brother by putting the seat back bec he thinks my brother is not comfortable and he puts the seat back on the way back he was sliding his hands on the short till he reached his private parts and my brother scared him and called the cops he immediately stoped and was focused on the road till my brother was in his destination

Charged extra, poor customer service.. Our driver changed our destination without consent. When we found out we were going in the wrong direction, we insisted the driver turn around and drive us to our original destination. We had to pay for the extra trip, which was 3x more than our original cost. The worst part was that there was no confirmation in the app asking if I was ok with the destination being changed. The driver changed the destination and we were charged for it. 2 days and numerous angry messages insisting on a refund got us our money back, but now bolt charges us a little extra on our rides so they can make up for their losses. It’s disgusting. They think people are stupid and won’t notice the prices increased.

Unreliable driver and insufficient customer service. I was in Paris to visit and to get direction I used google maps. There I found out about bolt. I think I used it in NYC longtime ago. First in the morning the drive disappeared after a few minutes of wait time. Later it was rainy and cold and the driver did not bother to come and pick us and sent a notification that there is no parking. There was ample place to stop and pick up. I said OK I am coming to you but kept walking and could not reach her. Eventually the map showed that I am at her location but I could not find her car. I told her and instead of any guidance she cancelled the trip and I got a charge for 7 €. I contacted their customer service and they sent a generic message without really discussing what I write more and when I said I am not satisfied they send another message by a different person asking to get 7€ reimbursement and say that I am satisfied with the customer service. Not a good drive experience and not a good customer service.

Pathetic. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.. Driver accepted a trip and then called to let us know we would be waiting 15-18 mins said yes that is fine. After waiting 30 mins I messaged to ask if something had happened. Driver failed to respond and cancelled my trip with nothing further said. Extremely poor customer service and no way to contact customer support after having fees taken from my account. Terrible way to start up a company.

No cars available. I used Taxify to go to an appt at St Vincent’s Hospital on Tuesday and had no problem getting a car. Since then I have tried several times and there are no cars available. I live in a very serviceable area - just off Mt Alexander Road Essendon and have no problems at all getting a ride with Uber. I will be staying with Uber

Unsafe. I lost my phone in one of their cars in Amsterdam. After three attempts I could get through to the support team via email - only after I could get to my computer. They did not help since the only way to get helped is through their app … which can only be accessed and signed into through your phone. Are you following the wilful / weaponised incompetence? To make things even better, their driver contacted me directly and offered to return my phone for an amount of money that made no sense. When I told this to their support demanding a receipt for this transaction they said that would be impossible and did not seem to acknowledge that this is legally extortion. The driver would only accept cash and I felt incredibly unsafe and abused throughout this whole experience. Never will I or anybody I know use this service again. Evil.

Terrible experience. The GPS function is faulty, it kept trying to place me on the other side of a large train station. Then when I booked a ride it kept saying the driver was 1 minute away for 10 mins but he never showed up. When I tried to use the ‘contact driver’ function in the app it kept saying the function is unavailable. After about 15 mins I gave up and cancelled and Bolt charged me. I then tried to contact Bolt through the chat feature and 1 day later I still have had no response. I’ll be going back to Uber.

Convenient but clumsy experience that causes delays and cancellations. Good and cheaper than the competition but the UI needs improvement. Doesn’t show you’re waiting for a taxi or any details about the car. This caused problems at the airport where taxis go to a different section. Also difficult at the airport you can’t easily see which floor to go to, which lost me 40 minutes due to a canceled ride. Frustrating. Also unclear why foreign payment details are allowed. It’s allowed for FoodPanda in Thailand and allowed for ride sharing apps in most countries. Fixed cost rises don’t exist either. You’ll need to rely on the driver being honest with their t RT pure choice.

Downhill disaster. Gone are the days of Bolt (formerly Taxify) having great customer service, competitive fares and good deals. As it’s gained popularity it has just become another Uber. They won’t even refund “fees” when the driver makes mistakes or forces the passenger to cancel. They underpay their staff while also overcharging their customers. They jack the prices up by x2.5 if your driver cancels, meaning you have to pay more to get the same journey you had booked only 2 minutes earlier. Utter rubbish.

Cars and scooters so easy. Particularly the scooters - much better than some of the other ones out there. I’ve never been annoyed by it shutting off in out-of-bound areas or not allowing me to park. Payment easy, and app doesn’t have any annoying issues.

Worst drivers ever. I have been using this app for a year and I have to say it’s the worst app for drivers. Half of your drivers don’t even know how to speak English let alone use the app. Drivers will accept my trip but I’ll watch them drive further and further away until I’ll cancel meaning I get money taken from my account to cancel on a driver that doesn't want to cancel and gain nothing out of it. Another driver didn’t even know how to use the app and accepted my request and then FINISHED my ride 1min later and I was still at home. That took the last bit of money I had left and made me extremely late to work. His excuse was he doesn’t now how to use the app etc etc and got his son to explain it to me because he can’t speak English !!!! (Just addressing few experiences with this app)This app should have forms quizzes and questionnaires to guarantee that these drivers know what the hell they are doing and especially know how to speak English !!! Other than that this app is super unprofessional and I’m never using it again. Better off sticking to cabs, yes they’re more expensive but they are a lot more efficient and professional.

App needs improvement but service is great. The app is incredibly slow, and struggles with the maps a lot. I get the spinning loading circle whenever I tap to enter an address, because it really has to think about it. The maps are not user friendly, and the maps the drivers get aren’t helpful at all. It put my address nearly a block away from where it actually is, so the maps integration needs a lot of work. All the drivers have been wonderful through, and I much prefer using the app to Uber where I can. Would recommend it to more people if the app wasn’t so laggy.

Terrible. Possibly the worst first impression that an app could make on a user. Ordered the Taxify driver at around 1am and waited 10 minutes for him to arrive when the app stated an approximate 3 minute wait. Once I got in the car, the driver’s Taxify app wasn’t working and didn’t allow him to start the trip which resulted in me having to pay him in cash for the trip. The cherry on top of this disaster of a cake was that Taxify STILL CHARGED me $5 for the trip even though it didn’t even register as me being picked up. Horrible app, use Uber instead.

UNRELIABLE AND INCONSISTENT. I have been using bolt around Thailand for a while now and the quality of service has deteriorated significantly. Highly unreliable drivers who continually try to re negotiate the quoted fare. I was picked up by one driver who left me on the side of the road in the hot sun , with luggage and in the middle of nowhere because I wouldn’t t pay 500 baht more than the quoted fare. Another attempt to engage a bolt taxi also failed as the driver could t locate me on the bolt mapping system. A third attempt ended up with the driver changing his mind about the trip to the airport after accepting the fare. In total I spent some 40 mins stranded in the sun with luggage. Eventually a meter taxi drove past with a really nice driver and I got a ride at a fair and reasonable price.

App very easy but, driver not always. We tried many times to book a bolt. A lot drivers would accept the job. But time after time then all of a sudden they would cancel. A lot of times I would get a driver but they also would have a current job. So sometimes the wait times where stupid. I believe that they should a point scheme every time a driver would cancel their rating would drop to a point they would get less jobs like they do in Australia it would drivers to be more accountable.

Driver refused to pick us up but took $67. I enjoyed bolt until last night where I ordered a ride and my driver saw me and sped right passed me after I tried to wave him down he drove 3min away and refused to cancel the ride and so we did and charged me $67 or a ride I didn’t even hop in, the same thing happened with the second driver this is so annoying I don’t get how your drivers can refuse to pick you up and still charge you!?!?!? How does that work? I have reached out to you on the bolt app chat and social media and havent heard a word back I would not suggest bolt to anyone now.

BEWARE of unauthorised payments and charges!!!. Bolt charged me £17 when I hadn’t used the app or booked a ride. It was a duplicate charge of a previous ride a few weeks prior - check your ride charges carefully! I have been chasing to get them to send my money back for over 5 weeks now and they haven’t even replied to messages!!! Also, expect to wait at least double the quoted waiting time every time you book. The promo codes don’t actually get applied - false advertising! The support route and actual customer service needs urgent improvement.

Malta Getaway. The Bolt service is just fantastic- fast response and great price and many options available to meet any need - we used the comfort option mainly as we had 3 adults travelling

Appalling service and terrible security. I have been trying to contact Bolt for months because someone is using my email address to use the Bolt service. I have received zero support from the Bolt team and have tried contacting through email, Facebook, Instagram and the support inbox on the Bolt app. All I have received from Bolt are auto-reply messages telling me to contact my country’s support team. There is NO support team in my country because Bolt doesn’t operate in Australia. The last message I received on the app’s support inbox was “your case has been closed”. Seriously horrific service and I am concerned about their lack of basic security. If someone can use my email address to use their service then doesn’t this open them up to people using fake identities and contact information?? Would not recommend anyone to use Bolt.

Unreliable service and hidden fees.. Expected arrival times are wrong, drivers don’t seem to know their way around. We had 3 cancel on us in a row because they weren’t in the right lane to turn into our street. It often says 1 minute expected arrival when it’s at least 5 minutes away. I was charged an international fee because their bank is in Estonia!! That was never mentioned when I added my credit card or at the time of transactions. This is not an ethical online service and hides fee information deep in the terms and conditions.

Not reliable. I had a really bad experience. First the driver went to the wrong way, which makes me wait for another 10 mins. And then I called the driver but he did not pick up and ignored my call. He continued to drive to the opposite direction. I tried to call the company service to see why the driver could ignore customer’s phone and canceled my trip. But nobody at customer service answered the phone. So I wasted nearly half an hour to try to solve that nonsense situation. Ridiculous Terrible

Driver never showed. Made my first booking tonight, the car never moved on the map, then it said it had arrived and the driver started our journey even though he hadn’t picked us up yet. I tried to call him twice and it rang out and then I messaged him. I had no response and there was no way to cancel the journey. The driver made the “drop off” and finalised the journey so he could get paid and we were stuck still trying to find a way home. Poor service from the driver & Taxify

App testing is key. Hey guys I’m usually up for any sort of goal, new product, bug testing etc. however after using the old app when needed there wasn’t a problem. Now, thrust into circumstance I tried for literally 25 minutes on a faulty train home to take a Bolt home and was met by not only an almost completely unresponsive app when tying to update card details but also broken card reader form camera function. Would have undoubtedly adopted a new ride sharer competitor, but not when it has zero usability. Thanks, Max

Unprofessional driver and fake waiting time. Very unprofessional driver and unreliable app as it doesn’t shows actual driver time. My personal experience it’s shows driver 10 minutes away and that driver took 30 minutes to come. Even my money was deducted in advance before the ride that’s why I hesitate to cancel it if they wouldn’t return my money if I will cancel it and when I have contacted driver how long he will take and he lied by telling couple of minutes and took 30 minutes. Unrealiable and fake waiting time and unprofessional driver.

Deceiving fee estimations - tolls not included!. I made a complaint stating that the estimated fees for a ride were consistently higher than the highest part of the fee range. Support responded and told me that “price estimation does not include tolls, as that is the client’s choice if they wish to take that route or not”. No where in the app does it tell the rider this. Suggesting a route that is along a tollway, then providing a fee range, and NOT telling the rider it doesn’t include tolls is flat out deceiving. If you are use to Uber, which does include the tolls in its estimates, you will get duped.

Developing. My first driver ordered didn’t show up, they appeared to be a bit lost so I cancelled the order. Unlike uber there is no cancellation fee (at the present moment) which is very handy. Tried again immediately and the next driver showed up on time, got me to the destination quickly and at a cheaper price than uber would have even accounting for the discounts they have going right now. It’s not perfect yet but their success in giving some competition to uber will benefit anyone who uses these services

THEY KEPT CANCELLING MY RIDE!. I’ve had good experiences with this app before. But what really matters is that you expect consistency in an app (especially in one like this) to show us that it is reliable. Today the app kept cancelling my ride and saying I have insufficient funds, even though I’ve checked my bank details and my funds are definitely more than enough. Step up your game taxify and fix up your app systems. Because there are people who count on share rides to get to places. Although the price is cheaper than Uber, the service is unreliable.

???. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt I needed to. I have tried so many times to get technical support, not only do they reply in 12 hour intervals but they are unable to resolve any of the issues I have raised, or provide solutions. Every bolt I have ordered in Australia, without fail, has automatically cancelled due to “technical problems” right before my driver arrives at my door after waiting 8 minutes for them to arrive. I have been in and out of arguments with “technical support” for over a week and am unable to come to any solutions. Unfortunately will have to delete and deactivate my Bolt account. Such a shame, bolt in the UK was brilliant.

So far so good!. Recently deleted Uber due to poor customer support and massively increased pricing with no explanation. Joined Taxify and taken 3 rides so far and there’s been no issues. The app can sometimes be slow to load but my wait times for a ride have been the same as Uber and the cost is much cheaper.

Would obviously not recommend. This app is really slow compare to the other one the price fare of the ride are not that cheap compare to Uber. I gave this app a try and I had a really bad experience with the app, because it was saying 3 minutes and I had to wait over 10 minutes but without being sure that somebody was coming. After that my ride was « Unusual » the driver was really cold and he didn’t stop at the signals twice, and pretty rough. The driver did not bother to leave me on the other side of the street even tho is dangerous.. After making a complain because I have such a bad experience I’ve got this basic template from there « Agent »? : « I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. This does not reflect the standards we hold ourselves to. I appreciate your feedback very much and I will take needed actions regarding the driver. I hope you give our thousands of driver-partners a chance to make your next Bolt experience a better one! » What a basic reply, it’s as efficient as a no reply...

A great alternative!. Taxify is so much cheaper than Uber (which is especially handy being a student)! However, what I admire the most is that they seem to care about its drivers a lot more than Uber - resulting in a much more pleasant customer experience. The app is still fairly new so a delay in finding a driver is expected - this is understandable. Many users (including myself) would really appreciate if the app was updated to allows multiple stops to be added to a trip, as well as if split payment between riders was available.

Charged for a ride that didn’t happen. I would like to put negative stars if thats an option. I was charged for a ride i didn’t take. Since then i’ve been trying to contact bolt through the app but the customer service is horrible. As its been 5 days and still no reply. I was charged and have money taken out of my card when i didn’t take the trip. I am unhappy with this service and will never use the app again as i literally got scammed!!!! The reason wanted to cancel my ride was due to the estimated arrival was 6 minutes but he just drove further away from my location. (Which i have picture proof of). When i tried to cancel the ride, there was no option for it. I also tried to contact the driver to cancel the ride but he just simply rejected my call. SCAM!!

Useless. Don’t use this app. I tried to use this in Melbourne for the first time but first driver didn’t move at all and started driving completely wrong direction and didn’t even respond to my messages. Same as the second driver. I only wasted my 20 minutes when I had to be somewhere with low battery on the phone. Plus, their “50% discount is maximum $6”. Which doesn’t make sense at all. If your fee is $20, this 50% discount only gives you $6. They clearly can’t do math. Also, you never get to hear from the support. This was just a complete joke.

Bad customer service. I have to canceled twice of the trip because the driver keep turning to the wrong junction before arriving at the pickup point. It delayed too long. So i cancelled. When i re-order, i got the same driver! Have to cancel him because he was like purposely doing the wrong turning. Both cancellation was charged and THE WORST THING THERE’S NO PLATFORM FOR YOU AS CUSTOMER TO COMPLAIN EITHER ABOUT THE DRIVER OR THE CANCELLATION CHARGE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They just want to ignore any of your issue. BAD BAD BAD SERVICE!

Not working service. I got so excited learning that there is a new service other the uBer. I downloaded the app right away and tried it for the first time in Sydney. The app returned a message that there was no driver available. I thought it was bizarre. I left it and just used my normal way of getting around the city. Then last week, I used it again, got a response app saying the driver was 5 minutes away. The. Suddenly the driver declined. I am not happy with the service and will not use it again.

Needs better mapping. It’s Uber, except not Uber, so I want to like it. Unfortunately the pickup estimates are so badly broken. It often will say 2 or 3 mins for a pickup and nearly every single time the actual pickup has been at least 3 or 4 times longer. Too frequently it will say a couple mins and then update and say 10 mins after its realised it was very very wrong. Fix your algorithm.

Great but app needs improvement.. Taxify is great value and I’ve had good experiences with the actual ride part of the app. However the app itself is in serious need of work. The drivers usually do not get sent the address of the person they’re meant to be picking up for several minutes- leaving a long time where both parties are simply sitting waiting - several times when we’ve been around the block from each other. I’ve finally realised I just have to immediately message my pick up address to all the drivers to get them to me promptly. Additionally at Sydney domestic airport the app has a great deal of trouble locating the domestic pick up area for ride shares (unlike other apps which automatically pick up that you’re at the airport and direct you where to go) and took the driver to international and then only once id called him did he find us. If the app experience was improved this would be 10/10 as they have great promotions and service.

Innacurate arrival time. Used the app a few times now. It’ll have an estimated time when you enter your pickup point, in my experience when the ride is booked it will be double that. I’ve also never had a driver arrive within their own estimated arrival time (it updates live so it will either not change for about 5 mins or will just keep ticking back a few minutes when they get closer). Overall not a huge issue, just very frustrating if your under time pressure because everything takes so much longer.

Worthless/danger CAR-Share app!. It is one of the most worthless/dangerous Car-Share app I ever use. If you chose to use this app be prepared to constantly deal with scammers at your own risk. Apparently, every driver after accepting your ( ride request ) with the specified COSTS , they are asking for more money, often they’re DOUBLE up the costs! Now, if you’re still awaiting for driver to pick you up, you can report it to the (customer support) which is basically worthless! Be prepared to be ignored and in most cases you will be waiting for some worthless answers. Then in the unfortunate case you’re already with the driver you will have to deal with that on your own terms, but not everyone is 1.90cm for 90kg ready for action, so be careful and choose wisely. My advice? …if you can, just AVOID to use this APP at any time.

Not worth the cost saving. Sydney - 80% of the Drivers I’ve booked haven’t turned up, they’ve accepted then literally driven in the opposite direction. There’s no mechanism to report Drivers who don’t show, the job disappears unless you actually rode so they can just keep accepting jobs and messing people around. Support is not in aus, don’t know where it is. Again no mechanism to report or complain. Charged an overseas fee every time I use my Oz card to pay for a ride in Oz. Ask Taxify why, they can’t tell me, presumably it’s because the charge is processed overseas but they can’t tell me that either. They frequently have promotions on which is theoretically great, not when you book 3 rides in a row and none turn up so you end up half an hour late and having had to pay for uber anyway.

Over it. I thought this would be like uber, boy was I wrong. The drivers don’t know where they’re going, they’re rude, unprofessional and half the time don’t even hang up their phone call when you get in. I’ve almost been in multiple accidents because the drivers only have international licenses. How is that legal? Not to mention you’re company is impossible to get a hold of, no contact number and no where on the app to dispute over chargers from drivers making wrong turns. This service is a joke. Save your time, just use uber.

Charged for trip that never happened. Very glitchy app and no support. First the app said the driver had arrived at my location despite him being 13 minutes away. There was no cancel button available the app allowed the driver to start and complete the trip without ever picking me up or even coming close. Somehow the app calculated that I had been picked up and dropped off and charged me accordingly. Support is useless and haven’t replied to me yet - 12 hours later. Uber may be a bit more expensive but at least the service is consistent.

Worst service ever. I would rate 0 stars if it was possible, the service is really really poor. I had a coupon and tried to redeem it, but they canceled it when my driver was about to reach my destination saying I don’t have enough fund on my account, when I had funds enough to pay for the whole trip. Why do you bother to give coupons on the first place when you want to charge money from the account? Got late for work due to this.

Charged full fare for a journey that did not happen. This is not a good app to use if you live in a suburb where the driver is unlikely to find another fare after dropping you off. Had two drivers cancel the fare last night after accepting through the app, leaving me standing alone on a city street at 2am. Ended up using Uber to get home. This morning I discovered that I have been charged the full fare to my credit car by Taxify for a ride that did not happen. There is no receipt in the app or in email as a paper trail for this charge. There has been no response from their customer service. Trying to contact Taxify is nearly impossible if you are attempting to dispute a charge, Uber is far superior in this regard. Also not comforting that they are making charges to your credit card for a ride that didn’t happen, with no ride history or receipt viewable in the app...

Blocked for calling out a driver.. I used this app twice and on my second ride my driver did not follow my instruction and instead took me a route I specifically told them to avoid. It added extra time onto my ride and obviously meant it was more expensive. I messaged a support member and they have not been helpful and just telling me I am indeed blocked and have yet to give me a reason why. They reply every day to two days and don’t even say anything except for something along the lines of “yeah sorry you’re still blocked but we won’t tell you why cya” Very disappointed with the driver, the customer service member that’s supposed to help me out and I will be sticking with uber.

Stopped working after one ride. I’m a regular Uber rider who wanted to try something new. Worked once but refused to work a second time. Taxify support is hard to find. After finding the email address somewhere else, it took four contacts and eventually they told me that my account had been suspended and to unlock it I had to send a photo of my passport. ?!? No explanation. Never had any problems with Uber - I have over 400 rides with them. I don’t trust Taxify support if something goes wrong to be there for me.

Worst App I Have Used. This is the worst ride share app I have ever downloaded. I have used it a numerous amount of time and each time I have been doubled charged, or have had the driver not follow his gps and end up on a longer route resulting is a fair double the price it was estimated. Worst customer service, not helpful with customers at all and wanna go in circles to make it look like they arnt in the wrong.. still waiting for a refund of over $80 I was doubled charged that left my bank account empty and unable to attend a funeral and no unable to get myself to work..

Consistently inconsistent. Not once has the expected pick up time been close to the actual wait time. Nearly 100% of the time it is at least double. The map is glitchy and I get the spinning circle a lot and is super slow to load. GPS can never pin point my location and is generally about a block off (Uber’s GPS is spot on every time). When you try to move through the map to see where your driver might be and if he is even heading in your direction, it automatically puts the map back to your location. Quite annoying! The drivers has generally been nice but I have had a couple that won’t listen to which route I would like to go. I found out at the end of one trip he couldn’t speak English or understand it, it seems. The quality of the driving has also been of a poor standard (much like uber). At least you are consistent at been ordinary Taxify.

DELETE THIS APP IMMEDIATELY: Driver issues, charged and no resolution from taxify. First ride: driver never picked me up, started the ride and cancelled immediately. The app charged me $4.50 and no one has responded to the online chat issues reporting function (now one hour later). So basically, the driver has been rewarded by taking payment from me, even never having picked me up. The company isn’t taking any responsibility for the issue and has chat function that is completely useless. Delete this app immediately. Save yourself some pain and dollars and use Uber.

Saved me a lot. Bolt saved me a lot during my travel in Thailand, the fare is much cheap than another app. Just sometimes need a bit patience waiting driver to pick up the order.

However,after arrival to my destination the driver claimed the credit card doesn't work for him despite i already had both the bolt trip report and credit card transaction showing the amount had beed paid in full. Spent nearly an hour with the help from hotel staff but driver insisted, ended up paying twice,while talking to driver,tried to reach out to BOLT support but there is no online chat but only message system,no one from BOLT replied even until now(been over 4 hours already)

worst customer service. I asked for a ride from my hotel to airport,but the driver didnt come and pick me up. he strated the ride when he is 5km far away from my pick up location and went to an opposite location. i called and messaged him to cancle the trip,but he cancled it 8mins later. and Bolt charged me for this trip for more than 20 dollars. Bolt customer service promised to settle the problem,but they didnt contact me any more after that. I think I will not use this app any more. How can they fool customers like this?!

Driver didn’t show. Driver accepted and was 4 minutes out. Proceeded to go in the wrong direction. 10 minutes later he was 15 minutes out.

Unreliable, charges for ghost rides that do not happen. The app and service is frequently unreliable. Rides are often ended and charged without the actual ride/pickup happening. The app has few safeguards built in to detect driver fraud, unlike other ride share apps. There is no direct, easy way to contact support, either.

30 Charge, 5 minute ride. it would not register being parked in a designated parking spot so a 5 minute ride charged me for 30 minutes. Parked next to 5 other bolt scooters. Even sent a picture through their chat feature… eventually they stopped the timer… sent me a couple reminders… it hasn’t moved end the the ride… but would not recognize it was parked properly… would event let me send a picture to verify being properly parked. There is terrible customer service. The chat feature is useless. They don’t respond. Good luck getting a response if you use the chat… and there’s no other way to contact them.

Terrible drivers + support team is no better. Honestly, you’re better off to sticking w/ other services b/c Bolt is not it. Their drivers are utterly unprofessional. The company needs to invest in training drivers on professionalism and customer services. I ordered Bolt and the driver cancelled on me b/c my pick up location was “too far,” and mind you the driver never bothered to call me to try and even find me. Secondly, why take the ride if it’s too far for you? Then Bold charged me the full amount and I have yet to receive my refund. It’s been 14 days and counting… I was told I’d get it max w/in 10 days. Anyway, Bolt please train your drivers and vet them better cause your services are currently trash, respectfully.

Rude drivers and bad customer support. Drivers were rude and refused to drop me off at my location after accepting my ride. I contacted the Bolt support team and they did not provide any help. I was still charged for the ride and had a very unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend using this app.

Unbelievably poor. The app charges you before it confirms the availability of the driver. I spent over €100 euro in one day just trying to find a taxi. Instead of charging the customers before the driver confirms the availability, you should do what Uber does. Just copy/paste the process for god same instead of keep ripping off people!

Beware!. When booking shows error, “something went wrong”, booking was not made, my credit card still get charged and it’s impossible to get it back from Bolt! They refused to check and listen and blame it as a temporary hold when bank already dismiss that. Same thing happens to my friend.

Good app, poorly maintained bikes. App experience is great but the bikes are seem to be not maintained (at least in Barcelona). 3/5 bikes I have rented were actually unridable (no brakes, tire dragging on frame, pedal crank almost falling off). The other two at least got me from a to b but had issues like: squeaked while riding, brakes weren’t strong, loose seat.

Prompt, efficient and honest. Have been quite impressed with our use of Bolt during our vacation in Portugal. Cars can be easily tracked for their arrival. It’s as accurate as can be considering traffic. Cost of each ride remains the same based on the route. Doesn’t change even if driver gets lost and extends the ride. All the drivers we encountered were very pleasant and courteous. Wouldn’t hesitate to continue using Bolt.

Criminals. Was charged 34,100HUF for a 1.6km ride by a taxi with a Bolt logo on it that I hailed from Nyugati station . 10x more than the real price. Bolt refuses to refund because it wasn’t ordered through their app but hailed. No disciplinary action against driver either, who continues to work for Bolt. I have name and license plate of driver but no action.

Unpredictable ride pickups (alot of wasted time). Tried using bolt during our trip to Europe. Tried to love it, but it was impossible to. The rides would always get cancelled, waits for a ride for be 15+ minutes. Timing is completely off on how far your driver is. One incident we waited 10 minutes, driver arrived, cancelled prior to picking us up and picked up the party next to us….

Stranded in the middle of nowhere.. I was dropped of from my carpool to a small French village, and scheduled a ride in advance to get to my airbnb in the next village. But I wasn’t notified that there were no cars available until the moment one was supposed to arrive. And my cell battery was low, and I had to brainstorm on the spot. Luckily my host picked me up but this app in completely unsafe, unethical, and a fraud.

Worst ride service I’ve ever used. When I visited Prague I needed to immediately go to the hospital because I tore a ligament in my ankle. My first ride I ordered refused to take me to the entrance of the hospital, making me walk a kilometer. My second ride refused to pick me up from the hospital, making me walk to a new destination before he cancelled the ride. My third ride took me to the wrong location and refused to take me to the correct location, then never ended the ride once I got there. I had to ask a stranger to get me a new ride because I couldn’t cancel the previous ride. Then, that ride took me to the wrong location too. Terrible drivers and service overall.

Please improve location. I use both Bolt and Uber. When using the Bolt app, the pickup location is frequently off - sometimes way off. I never have this problem with other location dependent apps and wonder why the Bokt app is having problems with the location. It’s an inconvenience for me and their drivers

Not trustworthy. Charges transactions on credit card takes place immediately upon making the request without guaranteeing car availability. When no cars available, forget about your money as it will never be returned. One of the main reasons I stopped using this app. Another issue, is double charging! One at the time of ride requests and the second is at the time of drop off! Double charges never returned to credit card. My advise to Bolt users is to use the e “cash” option to avoid the above.

Baku Trip. If you are on a short trip or holiday to avoid the hassles or renting a car and parking and traffic violations… the best option would and solution would be this app the verity are awesome and always gives you a fair deal in Baku and out stunning friendly navigators and very familiar with the city and site seeing and give you great recommendations… Strongly recommended in Baku!

DRIVER SCAMMED MY MOTHER. The driver made my mother pay TWICE for the trip! He started YELLING at her to pay him 60 euros in cash, after contacting customer service they said there was nothing they could do since they couldn’t trace the amount of money that was paid for and that it was my mothers fault for not knowing the trip had already been payed for, which she did know! however when the man aggressively started demanding for more money my mom just gave it to him. The problem is that they allow scammers such as this man to be drivers on their platform without there being any repercussions!!!! DOWNLOAD UBER INSTEAD!

Too expensive. If I could give this app a zero star, I would’ve. They think money is easy to come by, all they wanna do is exploit ppl. Tell me why this app would always be 2 thousand, 3 thousand price difference from the others? What’s so special? Why? They don’t even render the best services, rude drivers, in Abuja these ppl are giving away girls to ritualits, they don’t put on AC, to crown it all, they never charge what’s on the app despite how expensive, you’ll see extra 1 thousand or more when you arrive your location. Bolt drivers are now gang working with police.. Bolt drivers are now working with police officers in owerri, I booked bolt on the 11th of October 2022 and the driver started asking me roughly questions asking me what am doing for a living I asked the man what concerns you with what am doing for a living? Are you really an bolt driver? Then the man started saying that he would take me to the police station, all I did was laughing at him and I told him stop me right now am not going anymore infact I ended up not paying him any money he thinks am smooth boy to get money from me. This experience is very bad for bolt company, bolt company should make sure what someone is really want to work before employing.

Do not bother!!!. Bolt can seem ok when everything goes well! But when you get into an emergency and you realize that they do not have phone numbers or any human live support. And if besides feeling threatened by the driver you leave your keys behind and you try to get your item back. The “support” on their support page sends you to a list of emails where you need to pick your country in order to select an email address and send them an email. That is how “advanced” their support it, everything put in place to deter you from contacting them. But for business sales the support means that are setup are “too notch” of course. This is ridiculous!

Adding trucks to ur service.. I have realized that people most especially in Africa finds it difficult to hired a truck to help transport their loads from one place to another. Adding trucks to ur services will help and allow people to be able to request for truck to come load their stuffs anytime they need relocation or carrying a sofa they just bought from a friend. And if that suggestion is going to take into consideration I hope u will give me a credit for that. I hope is a Nice idea and a boost in business.

(2 1/2 stars) …but a must-have in Thailand!. In a country where locals constantly try to rip off expats, Bolt is a life saver. Bolt is generally cheaper than its competitor Grab, and ensures you pay a fair, affordable rate in reaching your destination. Unfortunately though, when you get a dishonest driver who tries to charge you extra, Bolt does little to resolve the situation. Also, the app often fails to pinpoint your exact location, meaning drivers frequently miss your pickup spot. All in all, Bolt is so-so.

Inept driver. Used Bolt for the first and last time yesterday 8 October. Booked a ride to Hotspur Stadium from Doubletree at 92 Southampton Row. Watched the driver’s route to us on the app. Saw he was one street up from us. On the phone he told me we had to walk to him. My other half has a touch of arthritis, and walking makes it worse. Told him he could turn left and left again on Southampton. He hung up and canceled the trip. Then I was charged a driver waiting and no show fee; all because he was on the wrong street! I gave a one stars rating, because there was no lower option. PRB from Florida USA

Make it easier to find parking locations!!!. Using Bolt scooters in Malaga, but it’s almost impossible to find the parking stations where you can end a ride. The app has “P” icons all over the place but when you get to them they are just car or motorcycle parking spots and you can’t end your ride. You either have to zoom in super close up on each “P” to see if there is a boundary around it (doesn’t show up when zoomed out), or you have to search for other available scooters. Seems like a huge fail.

Wonderful. Taxify is a bit confusing at first if you’re unfamiliar with taxi apps, but very easy to navigate once you understand the basics. The prices are great and the drivers have always been very kind. When they realize I don’t speak Slovak, they almost always switch to English immediately ensure I understand as much as possible. Overall a wonderful app with wonderful drivers.

Lack of explanation. We took a taxi from Sanam Pao Bus Station to Sukhumvit today. We had 3 people and 5 luggages which I added it on the notes. But a saloon car somehow arrived and told to book a bigger car (they couldn’t explain well). It took a while for us standing up there. Then we booked an XL car (toyota innova) with 189 baht. The luggages fit well and the drive was okay, until we reached the hotel. He said 2 luggages were free but 20 baht each for the rest. He should have told us from the start. And how come 3 people only have 2 free luggages?

Great taxi service and great app. I live in Budapest and am always extremely happy with the app and the Taxify taxi system. The customer service is also excellent, in sharp contrast to the generally poor customer service found in enterprises in Hungary. I am puzzled my the negative comments another reviewer made about this. Uber no longer exists in Hungary but you’re in good hands with Taxify, at least in my extensive experience. I’ve never used it in other cities in Hungary.

Useless. The app didn't accept any of my cards even though I cleared them with the bank just to be sure it wasn't my bank. Then when I try add another card, they force you to scan the card (which barely ever works without fidgeting around for 10 minutes) only to find out that the scanner doesn't work for unembossed cards. Basically been wasting my time for the past 30 minutes. I try my Amex - they don't accept that in any countries other than Australia and countries with Euro but how was I supposed to know that ? I wish I could rate this app zero because of how little it helped me and how much time it has wasted! Don't download it. Stick to UBER.

So many issues with bolt drive. We started using Bolt drive a few months back and loved it until suddenly our account was blocked because my husband’s driver’s license could not be verified. We have tried to contact customer support for a month and a half to get help to verify his license and reinstate our account and have not heard anything back. We have not been able to use our account despite all attempts and cannot get ahold of a single human to help resolve this issue. This is unacceptable for a company to have such poor customer service and makes us want to no longer use any of their services.

Bad gps information in app - DO NOT USE. Twice the app shows incorrect gos information so the driver goes to the wrong location. Bolt refuse to acknowledge the problem and instead charge you additional wait time fees. Even worse a driver may cancel your trip and charge you full amount plus wait charges. Do not use unless you wish to pay more than other services due to these hidden fees. Customer support is terrible. Drivers are excellent which is why I give 2 stars. Bolt customer service is zero stars

Worst cab service. I have been using Taxify for a while however I am increasingly getting disappointed. This year especially. Majority of the drivers have very little regard for the clients this was made evident when one driver deemed it fit to raise his voice at me due to canceling my request as a result of delayed pick up. Take a screenshot to the price before the ride. I was told that I will be charge 50-68 € to the airport, when I got there I just accept to pay 158€ so 3 time more. I couldn’t refuse because I was in a hurry, i thought it wasn’t the right moment. So I contacted customer service later and the only thing they said is why I accepted to pay the rate if was to high. So what supposed have to do at the moment if I was in a hurry ? It was my first time using their service and definitely the last. That happens when you try to save some money.

IMPROVE ON YOUR APP AND SERVICES. Nigerian Drivers accept a trip, you call them & they start negotiating for a different price & want to switch off the app. ❌ Nigerian Drivers cancel trips because they don’t want to go to your destination, then you as a customer is blocked for not showing up❌. Why not block a Nigerian driver that cancels a trip instead? Nigerian Drivers should be able to see your destination & decide whether to accept or reject. Not after they call you and then they go ahead and cancel. Bolt Nigerian drivers are so rude and lack courtesy. Work on your Nigerian drivers attitude.

Do not use in London. Like uber this ap works great in most location in england. Good safe drivers, clean comfortable cars. It also was fantastic in Dublin. However in London itself do not use it. Drivers continuously cancel rides after agreeing to take them turning your 5 min wait into 15 or 20, until you just give up and flag a black cab. We had a driver accept our ride after several accepted and then canceled only to cancel as he was pulling up to the curb about 100’ from where i was standing. He then proceeded to take another fare right in front of us. Fine. His choice. After several failed attempts to use bolt in city we quit suing the ap and used black cab instead. We will be spending quite a bit of time in Dublin and some in London over the next 5 years and i would use bolt in Dublin but not London

Bolt is not cheap and affordable and it’s full of extortion.. I use bolt app up to 2 to for times a day. What’s annoying is the fact that the rider asks you to level up their dedicated prices because the generator of the app is incapable. I know this would be swept under the rug and possibly not being tackled. I don’t imagine someone being at the verge of death but keeping her calm yet, some driver giving you negotiations when you are in their cars. To crown it all, when it is midnight, it is four time the bolt price, I have reported many riders and you guys didn’t do anything about it.

App should be removed from App Store. Bolt has completely abandoned it bikes and scooters in the United States. I tried looking for a number or phone number to call, and they simply do not exist anymore. Many news articles can be found about them just disappearing and leaving all their scooters still available to rent. I was overcharged for a $11 e-scooter rental to ride 9 blocks in San Francisco.

No service but still paid. The driver never stopped to pick us up and continued on without us. I can’t be sure why but they did. Maybe they picked up a cash fare and made double. We watched on the app as the ride continued to our destination without us. I attempted to cancel it but the app would not allow that action at that time. Bolt customer service seems not to believe me or care. We ended up taking a regular taxi and got to our destination (all of us, not just the driver). The taxi was clean, driver friendly, and it was 30% cheaper than the Bolt ride. I wouldn’t recommend Bolt.

Bolt customer care in Lagos are thieves employing other thieves. I reported a dishonest driver to them, who took advantage of network and refused to refund, they refused to handle the situation because they tends to enjoy from his dishonesty and have a share with whatever he could earn from dishonesty because if they don’t , they shld know he is a thief or make a proper investigation whenever a client make an official report.

Debit ₦9400 for no reason. At first my bolt balance was showing -₦9400 just like that I did not even go for any trip worth that amount. Is not even possible for me to take a trip up to ₦9400 I keep wondering how come. After up to five days bolt debit me ₦9400 Wich is not right. And I regret adding my card in the first . This pure scam ❌ Why debit such huge amount of money for no reason. I really need explanation.

Illegal use of personal information. I never indicate my banking information (credit/debit card information) in the apps like this (bolt, yandex, aliexpress, glovo, etc.) because I know that it’s not secure. I only use ApplePay for payment and if its not integrated, I dont use that app anyway. Before recently I thought that it is secure way for payment but… when I choose a rout and app tells me how much it costs, than it takes me to the payment and I’m agreeing using my face (applepay) for example $5 and it deducates from my balance. And than if something happens on the way, driver goes on wrong direction or something else driving cost increases and Bolt charges me with new tariff without my agreement. How it possible??

No drivers available. Most of the time I can barely get a ride with Bolt. The drivers are either busy or they accept the ride and then drive off in the other direction to force you to cancel the ride so they don’t get penalized. Apparently, bolt doesn’t care to help their clients and penalize the drivers more for this. Honestly, their drivers, if they are signed on and aren’t driving a fare, a client should NEVER be left without a ride. This would not only up the amount of fares their drivers take and ensure quality customer service, but also ensure that their drivers aren’t driving distracted by utilizing multiple ride share platforms at one time.

Payment does not function as expected. I have a credit card added into my account but Bolt app asked me to add a card when I request a ride. I re-entered my card info and it asked me to scan my card for security reason. Nothing happened when I have my card scanned with a complete green box shown in the app. I tried another credit card and it still didn’t go through. There is a use cash option but nothing happened when I tapped on it. It is super annoying when you tried to get a ride with time limitation. It’s also my first time using Bolt so the user experience is pretty frustrating.

Worst service ever. If I could give no stars at all, I would. Bolt has the most terrible customer service I have ever used in my life. Their drivers are reckless, rude and unprofessional. Cases of riders being verbally and physically assaulted have been reported on multiple occasions, yet they refuse to take any action. All they care about is making their money off the back of these drivers. Their customer service is extremely hard to reach, they do not reply messages, and when they do, issues take donkey years to resolve. Their drivers manipulate the GPS and cheat riders, and Bolt do nothing about this. It’s a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t advice anyone to use it.

Totally unreliable,/and a bit bizarre.. Had three drivers cancel yesterday supposedly one minute away. Followed each from eight minutes away,counting down sometimes, stuck on a number sometimes, going from 4 minutes away back to 8 minutes away, no reports of traffic causing this, then follow line of travel to one street away, and, bizarrely, car disappears and we get message asking to start selecting again. This happened three times with three different drivers — waited, followed them, just before arriving they are gone. After using Uber and Lyft for many years, this has never happened, not even once. We thought we’d try Bolt. No more.

Report driver. The App is good but there are situations where one wants to report a driver that didn’t move from his location yet claim to have arrived & refuse to cancel the trip meanwhile he knew he’s not coming. Right now a driver has held me down for over 7 minutes yet refused to cancel & is not here. If I cancel myself, he gets away with it & many do it severally. You need to add where one can cancel if driver didn’t show up, didn’t leave his location, yet claimed he has arrived.

Endangering Human life.. Your drivers in Nigeria are working hand in hand with a rogue police squad called “SARS”. These people are harassing, extorting, and KILLING young Nigerians. Bolt has been silent about this and no proper action has been taken against the drivers involved to serve as a deterrence. Female Nigerians are even worse of than their male counterparts as the can not book a ride on your platform without fear of being sexually abused, insulted or raped. You need to vet your drivers more, if you need to up the requirements to a certain level of education and make all drivers bring you 2 guarantors to be able to work on your platform then so be it. This nonsense must stop!

Extremely disappointed.. Im a user of all the taxi apps out there. This app started as one of the best and became the worst in one day. The truth is, I can never find a car in this app and when I do the price is extremely high. The reason for this one star reviews is due to the amount I payed on my last ride. Which ended up being doubled what I usually pay in other application like this one. They give you a range of money you need yo pay and my ride was doubled of that amount. I talked to the customer service and they didn’t do anything. So, bad customer service as well. This app sells you rides for cheap and they end up being really expensive. Bad service, low cars, terrible customer service, low quality and expensive. Do not trust this app.

What a Relief!. I am in Budapest and needed a safe way to get a taxi and pay by credit card within an app. Uber was kicked out of Hungary a couple of years ago. I tried FoTaxi and it worked to call cabs but was not intuitive and the drivers did not know how to allow me to pay within the app, so I changed to Bolt and it has been wonderful! Many drivers. Pay within the app. I can tell how far the car is from the destination. It is stable and intuitive.

App not working. App keeps requesting a payment method before I can order a bolt. I have used this app for two years now with no problem, but now it is no longer working. I would happily select card or cash, but the issue is that I am not given the option to choose anything, and this prevents me from being able to order a bolt. I would appreciate it if this issue could be resolved quickly, so that I can get back on the road.

Broken App. This app failed to function when I initially ordered a car from the airport. It failed to connect a driver for 10+ minutes. When I didn’t get a driver, the driver got lost and the “one minute” wait time the app promised ended up being over 45 minutes. My eventual driver took 20+ minutes too long due to very slow driving, and just bad driving (texting while driving) overall. Providing feedback to the app, apparently is completely worthless and goes nowhere. I’ve provided numerous detailed points of observation, and these were ignoring and deleted. BOLT seemingly only cares to encourage its most sympathetic, blindingly loyal, customers.

Poor customer service. I used Taxify quite often , but I will never use your service with my own money because it takes extra charges for cancelling the ride without any information in advance. Its unfair towards your customers. I wrote with complain to customer support and they wrote me with their standard texts that the driver should be compensated for those 4 minutes that he spent on the way to me in order to pick me up , but the thing is that you should inform your customers about changing the procedures while making service for your customers and then people will decide whether they are okay to risk and maybe spoil their money.

Uber vs Taxify Ng. I dunno who gave this app a low review in comparison with uber. My belief is he/she works for uber. I use both regularly/daily. Based on my eperience, Uber is a tad bit cheaper but more often than not, there simply isn’t enough of em around so there’s almost always a surge. Meaning Uber takes longer and costs even more. Icing on the cake is there’s no cancelation fee with Taxify so drivers are compelled not to be rude and obnoxious as is the norm now with Uber ( my personal experience/opinion).

Dont use in Warsaw. I used the app for several times. I request a car and driver picked up the wrong passenger i have called him texted him but he never responded my calls. The app charged me for the ride. And this situation happened two times in a week. Warsaw drivers make this as a trick. You are tourist and cant do anything to them. Shame on you guys. I have sent an email about this situation and customer service responded me after 5-6 days when my holiday in Warsaw has already ended. They said we refunded the money but still no money after 3 days. And on the other hand my account is still blocked. Long story short stay away from this app guys.

Update For Security Purpose. Love everything tho but how about the driver’s security? Can the coding team for bolt make an update where every single passenger needs to be verified with ID documents and a selfie of the passengers holding the ID? Clear selfie picture of them holding the ID? For verification? Very necessary cos same should be done by drivers too cos it’s not safe out here without these and other suggestions others have. U just pick your phone and u order a ride. The driver too just accepts any ride? Is that too safe? It’s not just money bro. Security on here is necessary so please respond to this request 🤖

Lebanon. In Lebanon, the app is becoming less and less professional since the fuel prices rising situation. Now its just impossible to request a ride without getting the driver to ask you where are u going and how much is the price set by the app and for long rides they will ask the customers to cancel if they don’t pay much more to the set price. Please address this issue by either updating the prices or monitoring the drivers and their behavior.

Insecurity. I’m giving bolt a 1 star rating cos as a driver bolt was also supposed to ensure the safety of their drivers not only clients/Passengers, I’ve seen situations where the vehicles or driver doesn’t matches with what the client/passenger ordered, the ride is canceled and a report is made to bolt, but what about passengers who order rides and driver don’t know the person there are carrying and after starting a ride the client attacks you in the car in order to get away with the car, please safety measures should be put in place and also bolt should have an updated app where u will be shown how many passengers the driver will be expecting to carry so the driver knows what he is up against

A must have in Bangkok. After getting ripped off from a tuktuk driver I downloaded Bolt . There is a wide array of vehicles you can book from motorcycles to suv and vans with everything in between . Bolt has made my vacation much more enjoyable with my time here . This is the must have app if you are traveling and they provide service . The prices are so cheap that I feel like I am ripping off the driver . I always tip even if it’s not necessary. It’s a great app

Fun and quick. A bolt scooter fully charged lasted me about 1 hr and 20min of constant driving. I went from linninhall out past the Soviet memorial (Maarjamae) back along the coast to Rotterdam city, up and around Tompea, then around the rest of old town and back to line hall. A couple of good hills on which the scooter struggled (I’m over 300 lbs) and a whole lot of sightseeing and bike lanes. I appreciate the max rate of $15/day, but wish it were easier to get the $10 day pass.

Makes Uber look great. Oh my… I can only speak to bolt in Portugal, but my overall experience has been awful. Drivers are outright trying to scam us. One driver literally said “road is closed but if you pay me more I can get you to your destination”. Also we had multiple occasions where drivers made us pay waiting fees because they were “here” when they really weren’t. Worst of all is that Bolt customer support is mostly useless. They always pay the difference as credit, forcing you to keep using them. We’ll see how they’ll like the chargeback I issued :)

They steal money.. Please take my word for it. And always check your bank account after you order a ride. I’ll never use bold again after today. I discovered they charge double. They will give you one price then money just magically disapear from your account. This app is a big fraud. Also know if you change to customer service one the app and they say they reimburse you. Please take screenshots, even the msg on the app just disappear. Be very careful don’t upload your bank details. They easily charge you over R100 for a 18-20 minute ride. I paid R165 for a 18 minute ride that’s supposed to be R94. I promise you be very careful. Scams all over.

Worst Customer Service. If you want cheap rides then this app is for you, but god forbid something happens where you need to reach out to support, expect to be ignored. I was on a ride and the drivers phone turned off, he drive me to my destination but when I checked later, he ended the ride across town and I was charged double what I was suppose to pay. I reached out to support and I got nothing, I waited a day and then again nothing, so I waited again and nothing. I finally reached out to them through email and of course you guessed it, absolutely nothing. I now have to fine a claim with my credit card company and use other transportation apps.
