Umm. I seriously thought this app is going to be more like interactive service I could talk to Jarvis and it would tell me the time like the real Jarvis like the AI is just basically a dictionary from Marvel characters

This Isn’t Jarvis ! False Advertising !. Having Jarvis is what made it Awesome ! Siri like functionality, having Jarvis respond. Click and Alarm Clock feature. You totally ruined this app. This is now a useless app. You can’t call this piece of (#@p Jarvis. Please do all your App followers a solid and bring Jarvis back. It would be truly and sincerely appreciated.

VERY Disappointed. I used to have this app. It was really fun, and it was almost like the real Jarvis. It acted almost like Siri. I could also look at all of iron man’s suits that he had ever created, and Jarvis would tell me more information about them if I asked. It was so much fun, and I don’t remember why I even deleted it. I went to re-download it years later and come back to this mess. Now it’s just a hero database, which is cool and all, but I could just find this same information online if I wanted to. I’m very upset about this update, as I was really looking forward to using the app as it used to be. If I could figure out how to contact the developer, I’d ask them to change the app back to the way it used to be. Definitely would NOT recommend.

Nothing to do with Jarvis. I originally downloaded this app when iron man 3 hit theaters and loved it. I loved being able to set an alarm and have Jarvis wake me up and tell me the weather and what events I had going on that day. I was saddened when the app quit working due to the new iOS update. I never deleted the app in hopes of it being updated one day with the movies still going strong. Today I see it was updated and got excited to open the app and hear Jarvis or vision as he is now welcome me and when I saw what marvel hero do you want to learn about, I was ticked. I still am. This app has nothing to do with Jarvis. It’s just a marvel hero/villain database that we already have access to via the worldwide web we all carry in our pockets. Everything about every marvel hero and villain just a quick google search away. This app is useless and has nothing to do with Jarvis and I would argue that it’s even false advertising to title it as Jarvis.

Bring original app back!. The original app was great with fun alarm and sounds. This update made it something completely different and not unique at all. Just a comic site now. PLUS I can’t access the special features on my original Blu-ray Iron Man 3 disc now! I’m locked out of my disc without the original app, which apparently does not exist. Nice trick (sarcastic).

Way to kill something great ☹️. I used to use this app back in the day when it was actually a virtual assistant. It was neat because i could check the weather, ask it questions and receive answers, and check the time. It was almost like Siri, not entirely but pretty close. Now it makes me sad to return to the app finding that it had be obliterated in every way and rebuilt from scratch into a hero database (which i already have access to at all times called google) and was in no way a virtual assistant anymore. It sad that its still called Jarvis as if it still has some of the features of old, at this rate you might as well have created an entirely separate app and titled it superhero search engine or something rather than releasing an awful update that destroyed the original (fun and useful) functionality of this app completely. Disappointed to see Jarvis get killed off and replaced this way when it had great potential.

Bring Back older version!. Downloaded this thinking it was the personal assistant like Siri, then to find out it’s not and finding out that it actually used to be in the reviews is very upsetting. Why change something that was liked so well and end up getting bad reviews? I’ll give 5 stars if it changes back to the personal assistant.

Bring back the other Jarvis!. Please bring back the other Jarvis that’s a real assistance. This is not how you do a Jarvis app . It can’t be Jarvis with just Marvel character informations.

Disappointed update. Man I was so stoked to see this app updated and I thought that being to search characters would be another function you could use. But this? Not Jarvis, I loved having him in my pocket and this is just a search engine with Jarvis name slapped on it like we weren’t gunna notice. Please bring back the original features of the app, I don’t need or want this search engine but I wanted Jarvis.

Why can’t we talk to JARVIS anymore?. I love that we can learn about the characters and stuff, but I miss the old function it had: Jarvis being like Siri. It might as well be a completely different app. I wish they bring it back.

Change it back!!!. This app USED to be the voice and interface of Jarvis. IT WAS REALLY COOL! Now this is just basically a click bait app that sends you on different pages about different characters! Nothing to do with Jarvis at all!! CHANGE THE APP BACK!! Hardly worth 1 Star! Terrible developers!

If I could write a lower rating then would. This is awful you guy neutered what was a great looking app, when the app came out I had no idea what Marvel was or who Jarvis was but I’m 15 not 6 anymore and I would love to have been able to use this app back in the day when it was still cool. But whatever it was probably some over protective parent or something trying to save the children like they did with the My talking Angela app along time ago😥😕

Nope. I had high hopes in redownloading this app that it would be the original JARVIS app I loved. I miss the alarm clock and other things the app had as the voice of JARVIS. This database is just dumb and pointless. A simple google search is better and works. The links on the character pages don’t even work. Go back to the original.

This app is not what it used to be. I was a total iron man nerd when the original 3 movies were popular. I loved that I was able to have Tony’s personal assistant. I came back to this app for some nostalgia, only to find out that it is now a glorified Wikipedia. Don’t waste storage on your phone with this app, just look up the marvel Wikipedia

great 👍 but. i never had the original version but i would like to play it could you keep the database but add back J.A.R.V.I.S because a lot of people want it back.

Jarvis 2.0 What?. Nothing to do with the original Jarvis app. Just a weak database of marvel characters with very very limited data on them. Better off just using your internet on your phone or iPad.

Glorified google search named Jarvis. Give us the old Jarvis! Or make this new crap a feature of the old Jarvis. This definitely does not justify the use of a dedicated app. Give us some real functionality!

Not bad. The information is very complete. It's very good. I like it very much. One of the disadvantages is that the loading is slow. I don't know whether it's a software problem or a personal problem at the moment🤨

Why. Why does this only have a few stars this is a great app it helps me because I was not aloud to read the comics so this was really helpful.

Disappointed. I had hopes that this would be the updated version of the original JARVIS. Instead, this has become a database search engine. Please bring back the original operations to this updated version. Make it so that it can replace SIRI if the user desires. Thank you in advance for changes that will make this and enjoyable app.

What happened???. Thank goodness I downloaded years ago the ringers I wanted ... This version is more of a dictionary!! I have the comics and the dictionaries! ... yah know, print? Im really ticked! I lived freaking my friends out when Jarvis gets annoyed then would "fry" my phone! So ruined it guys... You could have at least designed a Vision version or Tonys new system... Ugh!

Jarvis 2.ooooooooh. Since it stopped working with the new IOS, I was hoping they would fix the app and relaunch it......Well, they relaunched it, poorly. Google old videos of this app, it was like having Jarvis on your phone, now they stripped everything away. This app is pretty worthless now. It’s a marvel wiki app, nothing more.

Please bring back Original Jarvis. I was so sad that the old Jarvis stopped working when I updated my phone I tried to go back and UN-update it... didn’t work. I kept this app hoping you would update the app and add Friday or Vision...BUT NEVER did I think you would take Jarvis away completely!!! Please add Jarvis back to this app.

What???. I used to have this really great Marvel Wiki app that I could look up a character and see his/her stats, powers, abilities, weapons used, and get a full bio and background. All of a sudden it doesn’t work and doesn’t even show in the App Store. When I saw “Jarvis” I read others reviews and while it sounded like it was cool, I really can’t comment on that. However, as a marvel encyclopedia it looked like it would be great. Until you actually search for a character. You get a small two sentence description of the character and then there are “links” at the bottom of the page for the powers and in comics bios and such. THEY DON’T EVEN WORK!!! I found ONE character where the links worked! ONE!!!

BRING JARVIS BACK. They took out Jarvis and put in a data base of heroes and villains This used to be a great app and there are so many features that I wish I understood but little me didn’t understand Basically BRING JARVIS BACK P.S keep writing these types of reviews maybe they will listen

I hate this. I remember me and my siblings downloading and messing with this way back when and loved it. You truly ruined something great I had no idea this is what became of this app I loved. I got super sentimental this last week and went back to get Jarvis and mess around with it again and now it has nothing to do with Jarvis. I completely agree with other reviews you should have just made a new app instead of destroying this one. I loved this app this does not even deserve one star I miss the old app I can’t believe that this has happened to something so many marvel fans loved you have truly crushed me. Hope the original Jarvis comes back some day because it’s truly so sad to see such an amazing pice of history just wiped out thank you for breaking my heart.

PokAvengers- Please return Jarvis. When I updated this app, the 5 star worthy wonderful assistant app I had been using had been replaced with a Marvel Pokédex. Can you bring back Jarvis’ dulcet tones instead of replacing him with the wiki page, please?

Good foundation. I enjoy having a character database, but the app is a little buggy and broken. Things don’t load properly, and it makes it kinda hard to use.

You know I like the idea... But... Fix this problems. A problem I run into is when I switch menus like from movie bio to full report the selected menu does not become highlighted and it stays on the preselected part.

Disappointed. I read so much about this being an actual AI but when I downloaded it, it was just like a Marvel wiki. A big disappointment 😔

Not my actual score. I am just trying to catch your attention. If you can’t bring back the old JARVIS version, then why not just use FRIDAY. I of course imply that you modify the app to have responses like an actual AI like the previous version, and keep the hero encyclopedia. I doubt the fanbase would be as mad if you make these modifications.

Not what i had expected. When i opened the app so far asking what character i wanted to know more about. Thought it was good start to look up Namor. The showed results were to watch the latest black panther and nothing more. So i though to look up the human torch. Of course it had his profile and a little bit of background. Overall my thoughts of this app has potential but it seems it was made in a rush. It could be like what i remember of the first marvel encyclopedia which had the character's stats background story and the first appearances in the marvel comic universe. Hopefully it will be as great as the marvel encyclopedia.

Bring back the original JARVIS app. The one that came out in 2013 was perfect and it connected to the Iron Man 3 Blu Ray and I really enjoyed that when I watch it. Sadly, the app is now rendered useless because it needs to be updated. Please bring it back, it was a great experience and made my MCU marathons a lot more fun.

cooperate decision failure. what the heck is wrong with the team, better if you would delete the app all at once, than changing it into a useless/irrelevant app. It was a good app, and awesome app actually, which resembled actual Jarvis, now just shows how a big company don’t care about users. Typical.

Bring “IM3 JARVIS” back. I used to have this app back when it first came out for Iron Man 3 movie and I loved it! It was an actual AI that was something like SIRI and it had lots of rooms for improvement. It is sad to see how MARVEL ruined it. I will change the rating if they ever bring the original app back with improvements.

Good. But not Updated to it’s Time. I just found this app today and it’s Great! But there’s just one Problem: It’s not updated to its time. Like I searched up Spider-Man. It was good. But when I went to related movies, far from home wasn’t up there. So if update the app. Then it will be good.

Bring back the Original App!. The only reason this app is now at 1 star from me is because this app was originally a wonderful alternative to Siri and I was expecting it to evolve into a better version of that function, not a poor Marvel Database that can easily be done in your web browser since you are already on your phone. Going to wiki or directly to Marvel website will give you more information then this app has, please return this app to the original Jarvis program which was fantastic! (If you don’t know what this app was originally like just google original Jarvis App from Iron Man 3 and you’ll see what myself and others are referring to.)

Novelty has worn off. I have had this app since Iron Man 3 came out. I have been a Tony fan since before MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) when it was more geeky and less of a bandwagon, so this app had been a dream come true. However, the weather hasn't worked in ages and the last update was nearly FOUR whole years ago. Also- for those of you who want Jarv to be your homescreen (because I've read some of the other reviews) I've had a screenshot of him as my background and lock screen since I got the app years ago and it works like a charm, everyone recognizes Jarv!

Please bring back the old app. Sadly I just read an old article about the app but now I realize it’s completely different than it was first released. I love the marvel universe and having missed this is really disappointing. Please bring it back, I am more than willing to pay for it.

A forgotten app. This app seems to have been forgotten. Ive had this app for 2 years almost and it never had any updates. The weather used to work but the last few days quit working. It would be nice if this app was being cared for again.

Can’t serve its original function.. Cool concept but now I can’t scan the codes on the Blu-Ray disc as it was originally made to do. I miss the original version and if that could come back while also incorporating the marvel search engine, that’d be great.

Older app was better. This app doesn’t have all the characters the old app marvel comic database did. When they do have a character, they do not have power ranking. One thing I miss the most was the powers and ability section of the other app. This one does not have it. Very sad.

Fun App love having Jarvis on my phone. I love using this app and its ring tones. It's great to have Jarvis on my iPhone. But my only complaint is that the weather function doesn't work. Might not be compatible with newest iOS and iPhones (I have iOS 9 currently and iPhone 6), but it wasn't working with iOS 8 either. And the weather does not work no matter how many times you re-install and no matter how you adjust or accept settings. I agree with others, that Jarvis should replace Siri and her annoying voice, and should have an instant response to voice, instead of needing to press voice button to start. AND PLEASE give him ability to open and send text messages, play music and call people. I am giving this app 4 stars simply because I love the idea, look and potential, but fix the weather and it is back to a 5. Add extra features and you will have an unbeatable, profitable app. And no update since 2013??? Come on Disney/Marvel!!! There have been 2 Avenger movies already!

F.R.I.D.A.Y.. Maybe you could add F.R.I.D.A.Y.? J.A.R.V.I.S. Is not the only artificially intelligent computer system anymore. It would be cool to also upload F.R.I.D.A.Y. From the Avengers: Age of Ultron, since J.A.R.V.I.S is practically a human now, and that Iron Man a.k.a. Robert Downey Jr. Doesn't use his system anymore and decided to go with "his girl Friday." F.R.I.D.A.Y. Is his new artificial intelligence. I know somewhere in the comics, F.R.I.D.A.Y. ends up turning on him, but also have it later, when it turns into the movie, that F.R.I.D.A.Y. can like pretend wipe your app data, and turn against you, and you go back to the original J.A.R.V.I.S. It should actually be like J.A.R.V.I.S. allowing you to get updates on the other superheroes, get updates on when the next Marvel movies are coming out, having more commands, having more replies, letting you search things, and letting it be compatible with other apps as well like the web. It's a great app! It just needs more updates.

A few suggestions... A fun app and I agree this would make an awesome Siri replacement. That being said, a big fix is needed to adjust location services in iPhones settings. If you do not select "Allow access to current location?" upon initial set-up, nothing in the app's settings or in the iOS's settings will let you change it. Therefore weather function becomes unusable. Deletion and re-installation becomes necessary. Also would love to have this as an "up and running" app in lock screen. Would be awesome for this to work in tandem with the iOS's security. ie: after pushing HOME button, asking Jarvis to do whatever command. Including Jarvis voice to ask you to unlock your phone when necessary. Give him more command functions too. Also, downloaded ringtones and alerts aren't loud enough. When playing samples in the app, they sound fine. But once downloaded and assigned, they are only half as loud (even when turned up all the way) as the samples.

Sad. I used to use this app years ago. It’s no longer Jarvis. It’s only a name for a Marvel character database. Horrible. Why?

Jarvis. I downloaded this app to replace Siri with Jarvis, and this was a big disappointment.

not jarvis. scam. this is just a wiki. it used to be a digital assistant. at least shut this down and put the encyclopedia no one asked for in a new app. this is false advertising

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!!!!. I was so happy when I saw that it had an update! I thought it would be amazing. But this COMPLETE BULL SHAT OF A JARVIS IS LAME. I repeat: LAME. Bring back the real Jarvis. Most of already have a dictionary app, we don’t need another one.

Love it, but some bugs. I was pleasantly surprised that this app actually has functions (alarm, etc.) rather than being a click-and-listen gimmick -- though I will admit to somewhat embarrassing noises of glee when I was lightly scolded for pressing buttons again and again. I'm enjoying it a lot! Bugs: I've been having issues with volume control. I currently have this installed on my iPad mini, so I'm not sure if it's a compatibility issue, but it should be noted. Changing the volume while JARVIS is speaking causes the audio to cut out, though the next click/clip will play again. Generally, I'm changing the volume when I /can't/ hear, so this is a little frustrating. Also, the audio is rather quiet in general, /except/ when the app opens and when I swipe to change apps (and might possibly occur under other circumstances as well). Also, though it will not affect you if you are purchasing from this store, but international versions of this (as my Japanese friends were rather crestfallen to learn) do /not/ include Paul Bettany's voice. I hope the option to install the original version is made available to them soon.

As useful as a screen door on a submarine. At first I thought this app was made by DC; you know, taking a great product and completely ruining it. Instead, Marvel has done the impossible: taken something that wasn’t broken and fixed it until it was. The Jarvis app now has nothing to do with its namesake, and is a worthless waste of digital space. Tony Stark would be appalled.

YAY. Ok, so I absolutely LOVE this app. I enjoy being able to talk to my own JARVIS. One thing I wish to be added though, is the ability to do more complex tasks. I do like the commands he has, but I think it would be even better if he were to work like Siri. For example, you could have him search something on the Internet for you, or turn on a song in your music. Basically, it would be better if it could work with out of app stuff. But if this is something that can't happen, that's completely fine. I just think it would be more useful this way. I also think it would be good to be able to have simple conversations with him. Just incase you want to be sassy like Iron Man. ;) Also, one more thing, for the messages, I think it should be more than messages about the app. It should have messages about upcoming Marvel events to keep all the fans up to date. Other then that, keep up the good work. I really really like this app. :D
