Multiple feeds....wonderful!. The ability to scan multiple feeds simultaneously makes this the best scanner app available!!! Feature request: the ability to set the priority for channels in a bank. If multiple channels are receiving, the feed with the higher priority will play. Nice work!

Love this scanner app but. This is the best scanner app to get the channels that I want. I only have one problem sometimes, when I open the app it won't activate. I have to open it several times to get it to open. Other times it comes right up. It has on several occasions added the Detroit area on it own. It will also shut down on its own even though I have the BG button on.

Best scanner. The only scanner that will scan 6 frequencies at a time and listen to 6 at a time. True meaning of a scanner. I am not sure why they have not updated the software and take out a few problems.

New update a few days ago. I absolutely love this app, but have 1 question. What did y’all do with the new recent update a few days ago? Since the update my battery gets sucked down literally 50% in about an hour and my phone gets really hot. As well as my phone no longer charges while plugged in if the app is running. I took my phone in to apple and the could not replicate the issues. The app wasn’t running. Please fix this. I can’t live without my scanner. Thank You!!!

The hold feature. The hold feature does not work on the pro or regular version I have emailed them several times no fix or response other than that this is a fantastic app

Does not stay connected. Scanner does not stay connected. At times, when you have several feeds going the app shows “preparing” on feeds after being used for awhile. This occurs in 1-2 out of 6 feeds and it’s takes a bit of time. Sometimes 15 minutes sometimes longer. I have verified that the feeds are up by using other apps and the Broadcastify site. To fix, I have to close and restart the app.

I am impressed!. I haven't found another "police" scanner except this one that is able to scan more than one frequency at a time. This scanner allows the user to scan up to six channels simultaneously; even in the background, while other apps are open. The volume then comes through loud and clear and other apps are temporarily muted. The options are adequate, and you can adjust volume and squelch for each channel individually. Frequencies can be selected with the usual search options such as city, state, country, etc., and by categories such as fire, police, EMS... with addresses can be entered for online scanner radio channels and each can be labeled with an appropriate icon. I have purchased many other scanners available in the iTunes Store but this is the first one that satisfied my need to be able to search more than one frequency at a time similar to a hand-held portable police scanner radio.

Updates?. I’ve been using this app for many years but recently it’s unreliable. For a paid app, it’s not updated regularly. Will this issue be resolved?

Fix your app. You have been aware for quite a while that your app refuses to stay running in the background on iPhones. Please fix your app I can’t believe I wasted my money on such a broken app.

Impressed. I own a few different scanners. This makes listening in my truck easy. Able to scan the four main PD talk groups in my area on one bank. Fire, EMS and other surrounding PDs on the other banks. Only scanner app I’ve found that’s capable of doing that.

Amazing!!!. Best app hands down! It was worth the money 100% it’s the only scanner app that allows you to scan multiple agencies at the same time! The only thing I don’t get it what BG stands for on the bottom... other than that the app is amazing!

Save time and throw your money in garbage.. Retired NYC Fire Dept , been using free scanner app thought I would get better results with “PRO” app. Not only worse but they wouldn’t even respond to emails to try and rectify the problem. 👎👎👎

Best scanner app in the store. This scanner allows you to monitor multiple channels simultaneously. I live in a big cityAnd the police use five different channels. This app allows me to monitor all of them at once. No longer do I have to use multiple scanner apps all at the same time flipping between them just to keep up. I just set my five channels and sit that well the app does all the work for me. For that feature alone I say this is the best scanner app in the App Store period.

Helpful and Enjoyable program. Great creativity in allowing us to monitor different locations especially when major events occur such is forest fires and severe weather thanks kf4rbs

Improve Sound. Hard to understand

Does not appear to work.. Downloaded this for my iPhone 7 Plus and I only get a blank screen. Very disappointing.

Truly a scanning app. What’s sets the Action Scanner app apart from other scanner apps is its ability to truly “scan” up to 6 channels (feeds) in each of its 4 banks. This lets you monitor multiple feeds instead of one feed like other scanner apps. Kurt

Still not working. Just to update, still not working.

Worst scanner on the market. Tried because I need to play in the background with other apps. Constantly just stops playing, and you don’t realize until you missed 20 minutes. Also murders your battery. Like 100%-0% in 90 minutes. Claims you can listen to multiple scanners at once, but I’m always down to 1 scanner within 5 minutes because the others will just disconnect out of nowhere. 5-0 radio pro is the best one out there!! Light blue app.

Nice app. This app is very nice and is the only one you can listen to more then on department at the same time. I think it does need a upgrade as the last week I have not heard anything from it.

10-4. Fast and wide coverage. Can follow my Chicago South Side neighborhood here in Rural New Mexico. Staying relevant for a few dollars.

Wish it was fully updated.. I really like this app but it is NOT formatted for the screen size of the iphone xs max. The pause and play buttons don’t work either. Was disappointed to see this after it took so long for an update of this app.

I paid for this 😵. No instructions on how to properly set it up. It sounds quite promising at the Apple store and was $3.99 = credit squandered

Over Great App. Love this app, but it does have some things that could be fixed. 1. I would like it to scan all frequencies in a bank simultaneously and give priority to whichever frequency opens up first, as opposed to sequentially running down the list. 2. I would also like the ability to have more banks of channels. 4 banks seems like a lot until you start adding weather banks, and more than 1 county or separate police and fire. 3. I would also like to be able to activate/deactivate channels within a bank without having to remove them, or lock scan on a particular channel. For instance, say one channel has an event or something you really want to listen to, without isolating that channel in its own bank, you're at the mercy of the other channels and the sequencing.

Nice to scan multiple streams but kills battery!. It’s nice that this app can scan multiple streams but it kills your battery! Also, there is no way to make it stop on a certain stream. As a wish list, it would be nice if it could record.

Most action, easiest to use. I have three other scanner apps but this one is the best in every way; easy to use, most active scanners and you can organize them in four ‘bands’ or categories like counties.

Keeps shutting the app down. App keeps sticking, then shuts down and closes. To be fair, its an old ipad2 and ipod touch 2.

Worked well for 2 days. It worked very well for a few days then all of a sudden it said it can’t reconnect please fix and will give 5 star other then that when it works I love this app

Best app. After trying many apps finally one that works good. Scan 6 channels at once was the selling point for me. Makes it so much easier to monitor many more channels at once.

Doesn't work over Bluetooth. This scanner app would be my favorite if it wasn't for the fact that it does not work over Bluetooth. With Apple eliminating the headphones jack in the new phones, this is a problem that cannot be ignored.

Keep Updating!. This is the only scanner app that allows you to actually scan up to 6 frequencies per band, with 4 total bands. With the rioting going on around the country, this app is a necessity to have with you. I have a bank programmed with my county police and EMS, as well as surrounding counties so when I travel, I can avoid trouble areas. Sometimes the app freezes up when in the background and it does make my 6S run hot, as well as drain the battery, though the battery drain is to be expected with how busy this app is. It would be very helpful if we could find “nearby scanners” as well. I’ve used many but still come back to this one since it’s the only one I’ve found that actually scans. I use it everyday and play it through my Bluetooth as I go out in public in this hostile world we’ve found ourselves trying to earn a living in. Stay aware, stay safe, have personal self defense plans for various scenarios. Things change rapidly in what used to be a stable environment. If this is the “new norm” we better be very prepared to survive in it. Please keep improving this app, it’s a very necessary app to have when out in public, as well as when you’re in your home. The country is under attack by deranged terrorists and we’re on our own.

Its great. Saw the negative reviews but I am very happy and for the price can't complain (ie its VERY CHEAP). Bought the standard and PRO versions. Been looking for a marine band online scanner for years and this one delivers. I used to live on the coast where I could listen to marine traffic on a hand held scanner, but now I live a days drive inland and appreciate this app. Thanyou to the developer.

Was Good Now Has Bugs. Used to be my favourite scanner app but no longer. Very buggy since IOS 8.1 and I emailed the developer about specific issues. Not even a reply. Makes me think app support is no good. Would give this four or five stars if the bugs were worked out.

Fun / Plaisant. really fun as apps. However, I would like to have more police channels in the Quebec province.

Same problem as others. Tool and add functions no longer work and I'm stuck listening to only 4 stations. Please fix this problem ASAP!

Action scanner pro. After update dec19/14 update2.40.2 cannot load any stations on scanner only2 it came loaded with!!!??? I have a ipad 2 also tools and add stations button do not function?

Pair of suggestions. One thing that would make this even more awesome is adding audio balance slider because some feeds have analog in the left audio channel and digital in the right. My second suggestion is tied in to that one, where you can have multiple copies of a feed

Background.. I love how you can listen to this app in the background and still listen to music as well.

Problem. Wanted to listen last night due 11 cop cars going by, but the section for Indiana, Marion County, IMPD and Speedway police are now always offline.

Not Working. This is a very good app that could be excellent however it does not work as advertised. Cannot access more than one bank, unable to assign bank alpha tags. Something to do with iOS upgrade. Shame

Great app!. This is a great scanner app! The only 2 items I would suggest for improvement are 1) Provide a guide inform the user what the graphic buttons do (currently trial and error), and 2) Add the ability to lock-out individual channels within banks like you can on a radio scanner. These are minor items, but would make the app friendlier. The "guide" regarding buttons, channel lock-out, etc., could be put on your web site, doesn't have to be in the app. Thanks!

Does not work with iPad. I have the latest iPad and os update. Does not work. Can't add stations, can't get into settings. Need to fix the compatibility issues.

Love it!. I love the addition of more feeds! I would love to see more banks added! This is the only scanner app in the whole App Store that actually scans multiple feeds. Definitely worth having when a big event occurs. Keep up the good work!

Terrible App. This app has so many problems I don't know where to start. It's a joke. Something as stupid as the 20% battery left message makes the app stop working, a text too. Also reboots my phone when I open it sometimes. Scanning in general is pretty much gone guys...

Needs serious update. When first purchased...just fine, I made a bank and now in August 2015 I am counties away from home and cannot set up a bank near me. It won't even find me. Do not purchase until you glitches taken care of. When working right it is the ONLY true scanner out there!

Loved app at first..... I loved the app and the ability to listen to local stations but then after a day it no longer streams them and I can only get all but my area

Great scanner app. This is one of the better scanner apps in the store. Has the ability to have multiple channels per bank, just like a real scanner. In addition has many user tweaks such as delay time, squelch etc. For those not familiar, this is not a radio, but an interface to streaming sites such as Broadcastify/Radio Reference, therefore if those sites do not stream your locale, this app cannot play that location.

Amazing app with huge iPhone 6/iOS 8.1.1 Bug. I am unable to activate the "bank" and configuration options at the bottom row. I can see the options but nothing happens when touched. I suspect the problem is only happening on the iOS 8 since it works on my iPhone 4s (iOS 7.1.1) Also doesn't work on iPad Air. Both devices are using iOS 8.1.1 Please update ASAP.

Good app. App works like all the other apps but has multiple channel scanning, 4 bands that hold 6 channels. Individual channel volume controls with squelch control. I actually really like this app. It's worth paying for the pro version even if only to support.

iPhone crashes. Constantly crashes on my iPhone 6, disconnects from my home WiFi at random, sleep timer doesn't work. Waste of money.

Hot iPhone SE!. Amazing app but please fix the heat issue when scanning Multiple (5+) channels with iPhone SE!

Not working. After I upgraded to latest iOS, app will not work. The icons to add channels and the tool bar don't work. Please advise or repair the app.

love it, but.... I love this app, it has all the county's in my state. but, the one thing I don't like, that they need to add more of is air medical frequencies. especially for aspiring future flight nurses and medics like myself.

IOS 8 updates do not work. Before IOS 8 this WAS a 5 star app. The latest updates have made every scanner feed useless. If this was happening on the free version no problem, however having paid for the pro version it kinda pisses me off

It don't work on iPad unless it's held vertical. I just don't work in the horizontal mode. There are two buttons that don't work that way, and I was unable to add channels. Then I held the iPad vertical and its a dream come true. I love it! Update: they must have fixed the horizontal issue or my ipad updated. IDK. But it works great now. How about a priority feature?

Buggy. I used to love this iPad app until all the buttons stopped working. iOS8 played a strong hand in that.

Snookered. Compared side by side with competitive scan app and it was not able to "hear" same channel traffic. Who do you talk to about getting your money back?

Update issue. Can no longer add scanner sites to the banks after this last update. App is no good if you can't change scanner sites. When are you going to fix????

Really Again?. I was really hoping this new version would either expand (make larger) the frequencies listing or give us the option of being able to close the police codes or make the map smaller thus expanding the left side so we could view the frequencies without having to put on reading glasses. The most important thing is viewable frequencies, not a map that takes up half the screen! I paid extra for this app and got less. For now I will stick with the iPhone app which is viewable from all angles.

The best in this category. This app emulates the traditional scanners -- banks of channels, squelch and volume controls for each channel in each bank and many other similar features. You can set up a bank to monitor a particular large event -- by placing all local public safety responders in the same bank. Excellent app.

Used to be a Great App. I work as a Dispatcher. This was a Great App because it would Scan and you could switch Banks to listen to other Agency's. Now you can't rename or switch banks Hopefully they'll fix this!!

was great before iOS8. I can no longer change Banks or access settings. It is like the bottom bar is frozen. Have quit, restarted, redownloaded. Bummed. I liked this Apps because of the 4 Banks.

Work Them Glitches Out!. This app crashes all the time! Makes my entire iPhone 6S shut down! I'm switching back to the competition until this piece of work becomes more stable, if it ever does.

Needs some work. This was the best scanner app out there. Now alot of the features will not work. Can't add new stations. I hope this is fixable because I really enjoy Action Scanner.

The best with one exception. By far the best scanner for iOS except that you cannot switch out of Bank 1 after the update to iOS 8.1.1. Once that is fixed, I'll return to 5 stars.

Action Scanner PRO. Well worth the $2.99. Only app out there that I am aware of that truly scans multiple frequencies at once. Others simply monitor 1 frequency at a time. Four channel banks allow you to store and scan 6 frequencies at a time. Twenty four frequencies can be stored at any one time. You can switch from one bank to another with one touch. Features include a tempoary lock-out, and manual modes which make it fuction as a actual scanner. One feature I would like to see would be the ability to record transmissions as other apps allow. Other than that 5 *Stars all the way.

Waste of money. This scanner does not work. The only department we can pick up is the Chicago police department. Not a single thing in Florida even works. Don't waste your time or money

Does not work. At least with all the bugs before this update it still worked once in a while. Since this update not a single station that I have added is broadcasting even though they are working fine on other apps.I tried reinstalling and the only time any noise came out was the pre-populated stations. Once I remove those and added mine nothing worked.

6 channel simultaneous scanning!. The ability of this app to monitor multiple channels at once is essential IMO.

Great App. I really love this app. By far the best that is out there for scanners. Easy to use with a simple clean interface. No issues with the install along with a quick and easy setup.

Used to be my favorite scanner app.. Prior to updating to iOS8 I loved this app. It was my favorite scanner app by far. Since iOS8 was installed it no longer works for me on my iPad. The volume drops anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes into launch and none of the buttons work so even on the few rare times it does work I can't change what I'm listening too anyway. It still works perfectly on my iPhone running 7.1.2 so I'm assuming the app is just one of many that doesn't play well with iOS8. The developers have replied to me in the past to help with issues I've had but since the iOS8 update I have contacted them twice about these issues and got no response from them. If they update it to fix it and allow it to work on iOS8 I'll gladly go back to 5 stars again. Until then though since it no longer works for me on iOS8 it gets only 1 star.

Best Real Police Scanner. People who used traditional police scanner will appreciate the true scanning of police frequencies. All other scanner apps are simply a gimmick toy, as all you can do is listening to one channel. This one lets you scan up to 6 channels at once. Love this app! Dear Developer, please do update when IOS 8 comes out. Please don't wait too long or abandon your own app. Thank you!!!

Action Scanner Pro is as good as I could ask for!. There are some local channels that, when I first started using this app, there was coverage for the local areas police and fire departments. That being the Hemet CA Fire department, Police dept. and local Cal Fire channels. The Sheriffs department in Riverside County just implemented a new encrypted and digital, $178,000,000 radio system. Now no one can listen at all. I just wish some volunteer would step up and cover these and a few more like CHP and Forest Service, as well as the aforementioned channels. It would be greatly appreciated by many of us. And Action Scanner I realize you have little influence over what channels get covered or don't

Useless. I'm probably going to eat the app cost and delete it. I suddenly cannot pick up the primary department in my area. It's gone from great to useless.

Actual Scanner!. A scanner app that scans! Being able to set up banks is very useful for traveling and for keeping up with what's happening at home when on vacation.

iOS 8 issues!. This is the best scanner app just needs the bugs worked out. The dev is the best! He stands by his word and brings updates that are promised. Great job on the update! Keep the great work comming! Update for iOS 8 is still buggy.

Only scanner app that actually scans. If you're looking for a scanner app to allow you to listen to multiple channels at once, then this is the app for you. I have scoured the App Store looking for an app with the ability to scan multiple police and fire channels for awhile now. This app is a must-have if you're into police radio scanners! This is a good app yet it has lots of issues with iOS 6 it closes down or stop scanning channels altogether a lot

Not bad. At 1st I was not happy, but now I figured out a bug it has, on my iPad 3 it will not work in horizontal, could not do anything, after I stood it up I could program and listen
