Perfect for Late Night Use!. This app works wonderfully as a browser that can dim darker than the iPhone's brightness settings can manage. Is there any way that another app could be made that can apply this dimming enhancement to the whole iOS? This way people could text, play games, browse through photos, or do anything, but with the screen brightness dim enough to be comfortable when the rest of the room is pitch black. (This would be a great added feature in the next iOS update: a Night Mode setting which would allow extra-low dimming settings.) Excellent work on this nighttime browser! Thank you for relieving the strain on my eyes!

Difficult. Not functioning properly, no instruction on use, not intuitively designed or user friendly, not anything but a waste of time and money. So bad I wrote a review for an app, for the first time ever. Please stop taking advantage the customers by profiting off profit margins generated through the inconvenience of apples return policy, this is corrupt on a corporate level.

Not what I thought. I really thought this would dim my screen more than it's already dimmed but I realised it only opens a webpage that I guess will dim more there. It didn't really explain where to dim it once it's opened unfortunately. I get migraines and being able to call or message someone can be a pain because of how bright the dimmest setting still is. Useful for the internet if you can figure it out (coming off migraine brain to be fair, really hard to think) I guess but I'd like to navigate my whole phone with a dimmer setting. Cool idea though, it was going the right direction.

Waste of $$$. Bought this in an attempt to watch Netflix in the night without blinding myself. Paid for it and it did nothing. The app opens as a google chrome page...don’t waste your time. Just search for how to make iPad extra dim. There are steps you can actually take on iPad to change settings and get it much darker than it currently is and it will cost you $0 additional dollars.

Great app!. I use this app at night all the time on my phone. It really dims the screen effectively so as not to cause strain on your eyes. I always feel such a relief when I turn it on and can stop squinting. There is a huge range of variability in dimming so you can set it to your preference. Highly recommended!

Mad about my money. I bought this app and it says google search. I want my money back. I thought I could trust these apps. I want my money back. Rip off.

Great app but can add some basic features. This is a great app and it does dim your browser screen to a comfortable level in a dark room. But I really wished for this new update, the developer would have added some basic essential features that Safari has e.g. 1) automatic scrolling back to the top of the page by tapping the top of the screen, 2) when tapping the "Back" button, it will go back to the same spot of the previous page. It is not very efficient for the users to keep manually scrolling up and down numerous times just to get to the same spot or the top. PLEASE add these features with your next update (hopefully soon). I love this app and use it every day and night. Thanks!

Only for google search. I wanted something for my phone, to darken the screen more at night- this only works for google web browsing. Wasted 99 cents.

Good stuff. Great for surfing the web. Dims the screen only for web surfing. I was looking for something to dim the entire iOS, but this will work for now...

Does what it says. Definitely does what it's supposed to. You can dim the screen as dark as you want when browsing the web. This is the closest that I've come to what I want. It would be awesome if this app could be applied to the entire phone (ex: texting)

I wish I found this sooner!. This app is exactly what I was looking for, it allows you to dim your entire screen. I'm very happy to be able to surf the web in bed and not wake my boyfriend. If you're looking for a screen dimmer, look no further, this is the app for you!

Great for browsing at night. This app allows to dim a web browser screen to a much lower brightness than the iPhone settings allow. Now, if this could apply to all the screen views and apps, it would simply be perfect!!!

Stopped working.. I used and loved this app for years. But now the app closes as soon as I open it. Even though this app crashes every single time I open it, I give it two stars because of the past good history. I hope this lower rating flags someone to fix it. Then I will update my rating to five stars after its fixed.

Hmmmm...there's bugs. I do love this app, but there are some really annoying bugs. It always crashes whenever I open something and comes crawling back with no clue what happened like a drunk mom after a Halloween party. If it ever does load, it goes haywire and crashes...so yeah. And sometimes I search something that's on Google, but when I search on here...NOPE. Besides those points, it's a great and useful app!

I love this app!. Does exactly what it says, allows you to dim your screen waaaaay down for use in the dark. VERY useful for winding down to go to sleep (where even the lowest built in setting will keep you awake with its brightness). Also, most recent update made bookmarks usable! This was a minor bug before...

Feature request. Auto dim by schedule. This app is great for dimming. I would love to use it for my iPads used for home automation kiosks. I would like them to dim at a specific time. Then brighten in the morning. Or, it would be really cool to brighten if the front camera senses motion then dim after motion stops. -JY

Perfect for married people. This app is perfect if you're married and you want to surf the web while someone is sleeping next to you. It does exactly what it says it is supposed to do. The tabs are a little bit glitchy when switching back and forth, but I do like the warm red mode that keeps the screen dark but also makes it easier to read IMO. Could use some more settings in the browser too but I'm glad it supports horizontal keyboard. Thanks!

Refund. I accidentally purchased this app

I'm in heaven!. I've been looking for a nighttime browser like this for months now. None of the competing apps actually works - but this one does! Even the keyboard is dimmed. And it even warms the color temperature. I'm so pleased! At 99 cents, a steal.

Works as advertised. Worth the $0.99 cause my kids get rocked to sleep while we hold them. Didn't think it could dim THAT low...

Used to work great. The browser just stoped working and it crashes every time instantly. I hope they fix it.

Waist of money. This basically just stole my money. They know what we want n this ain't it!

Crashing. I enjoyed using the app for a little while, but now it will not open and keeps crashing. I tried restarting my phone but nothing would work. I am disappointed because I paid my money for this and I can’t even access it. Please create a solution and fix this.

The screen is grey all the time. Sadly the app doesn’t work at all, the screen is grey all the time. Closing and reopening the app doesn’t work. I feel like I wasted my money.

Horrible. What good is an app that dims your phone to the same level as it can on its own? Money scam! Don’t do it people especially owning an iPhone, your dark mode with the brightness all the way down is the same!

Perfect separate browsers to use in a dark room. I like that it has its own browser and the brightest setting is not affected

Trackers and other gimmicks. I wanted to like this app - I really did. But then I started getting notifications of it installing trackers, click bait and ads/commercials. I quickly decided to delete it. The app just isn’t worth the trash it installs. Recommend avoiding. Removing the trackers is a long and tedious process even after deleting the app.

Great app!!. Great app!! I’m impressed about that you can dim the screen so much and also the keyboard. I have tried som other Night web browsers but they can’t dim the keyboard like this app can. Thanks for adding tabs and keep up the great work Alex! :)

Waste of money. Useless app.

This does work. I bought this, and was initially disappointed. Went back and read the reviews, and yes, this does work almost too well IF YOU ARE BROWSING the web through the app. You have to use the second to last tab to the right on the bottom of the app I browse. I do wish this was applied to everything on my phone, but it doesn't. Would I buy it again? No. But, it DOES do what it says it would do perfectly.

Please Tabs Please!. Same as above. This saved the eyes but it could definitely use a multiple tabs option so we can use it to browse more than one sight at once. This is the only browser I have found that offers a dimming ability that goes beyond apples 'dimmest' feature, which if you're listening apple! is still way too bright! Thanks to the maker of this app and is $0 price tag, hey I'd give you a buck if this baby had tabs (-:

Don't forget to read the functions. App would have been great if it actually dimmed my screen for something other than just the web that you can only search through the apps platform. THEIR OWN PLATFORM.

It is what we thought it was. Works exactly as described. Please read app description - it's a perfect dimmable web browser - and that's exactly what you get. Props on the red filter, which is great in reducing eye strain. This app is 99 cents people. Not annoying your spouse when reading at night - priceless.

Works exactly as described.. Great for anytime you want to dim past iOS minimum while surfing web. It is not safari browser, but operates similarly and has given me no problems. I use it for reading the news. If your eyes are strained because of the screen being to bright it is well worth .99 cents.

Did not change my screen brightness. I have an iphone. I turned my brightness all the way down, put my settings to dark mode, applied a low light filter on my accesibility zoom short cuts, and still though the screen was too bright, so I searched for this app. Perhaps it works for people who did not already adjust every setting on the phone first, but I found no difference in brightness in this app. Is there no way to further turn down the light? Thank you for developing this app, but it not work for me. Please accept my $1 for your hard work😀 It was worth a try

GREAT!!!. At first, I didn't know how to use this. Just go into the app, and tap the top of the screen. Enter your search, and tap the bottom right icon. A slider will appear, and drag right to dim. You can bookmark your favorites. Then alphabetize these by pressing the little bars on the right of them and dragging up or down. I love it. Just what I was looking for as a TBI survivor for night use! Thank you ღ†

Love your app Alex. It's very useful for browsing online at night when you don't want to ruin your eyes. The apple lowest brightness setting is still bright enough to blind me. this app is very useful. If you could make an app that lowered my brightness like this app for everything on my ipod I would buy it! Thanks man

Just what I wanted. This app does exactly what it says, the effect is more like putting a dark layer over your screen, therefore enabling you to darken the screen past iOS options. The darkening effect only works in the app, which itself is a browser that operates almost exactly like Safari. It'll work with about anything on the app. I don't use it much anymore, but it comes in handy. It does what it was designed to do.

Great App for Bedtime Web Surfing!. This app allows you to darken your screen much darker than the standard settings. This is a lifesaver for bedtime surfing when the wife and baby are asleep :)

Dims but doesn't let me view web. I can't input a URL. If I can't work it out, that's a problem with design! It just doesn't seem to function properly. Money back, please!

Not quite. I am sensitive to light so I really need a dim screen, especially when it is dark and my eyes are more sensitive. It would be good if the dimmer worked on other apps, not just the browser, and also if it gave you a choice as to which language you wanted it to be in. I can't figure out how to change it to English.

Okay. I thought it would dim my whole phone so i could text too but the app is basically a search engine with the ability to dim only in-app...

Best spent money. The night mode in the web browser is really great! 🤩 I use it almost every Night when putting my kids to bed. It’s so simple to use and works perfect. 😃 Thanks for a great (and cheap) night mode app!

Works great. I have an aftermarket iphone screen on my X. It’s very bright. This browser solved the problem for that. Works well. Very fast. Noticeably faster than chrome and safari. I wanted to read PDF documents from my drive, and it dimmed they white perfectly! (And could read pdf). (Only reason I downloaded is because I saw the developer had responded to a complaint, you could see they believe in the product they sell, and that’s important because I want to keep using it the with ongoing support.)

Has tabs. A little clunky and doesn't have all the functionality I'm used to, but has multiple browser windows you can scroll through and the dimmer works well.

Exactly what I needed!!. I kept complaining about surfing at night - okay my wife kept complaining about me surfing at night. Stock dimmer is still too bright. This app is perfect. Yes it's only one tab but that's all I need for the limited time at night using it. Kudos!!

Works great. Only app in AppStore so far to dim Iphone screen to almost zero which is perfect for nighttime because default lowest iOS brightness is still too bright for night reading. Would be better with option to hide the bottom status bar or auto hide.

I use this App the most. At night in bed I’m up a lot (Mom problems), so I’ll use this to surf the web. It’s darkness is so great! The safari browser at night is WAY to bright, it hurts my eyes and I don’t think it’s good to look at a bright light in the night. I’ve been using this for years. It gets a little glitchy sometimes but nothing I can’t handle. All in all it’s great.

Great app.. I already use the accessibility tool to lower brightness and this gets the job done quite well. There seems to be quite a few seemingly illetrate folks who simply can't see to read the description of the app which says in all caps that this is only a web browser. Aka if you're watching YouTube or checking Twitter you must do it through the web browser app. The app has a great UI, and 100% worth the 99 cents.

One tab? Keyboard problem. Keyboard doesn't always work in certain conditions and also there is only one tab. Also bookmarks tab doesn't work. Lots to fix but does the basic change for brightness.

Would be great if.... It would allow copy/paste searches. It wouldn't load anything other than google. No activity at all when I typed in an address. I was able to dim the screen (which gets way dimmer than standard, yay!) but that was all. I will try again later.

Great Night Mode. This is a Webbrowser with a Night Mode that really works. I can dim the screen much more then my iPad/iPhone can normally. I can also watch video like YouTube, but I need to to it in the app, which is fine. I really recommend this web browser!! 😃😃😃

Does not erase history or cookie. Leaves everything in the cache if you're watching paysites that will stop working after so many visits it does not allow you to flush the cache and remove cookies

Yeah but.... It's for "surfing" the "web" only from within the app. I want my whole phone's existence to be dim and dark...like my soul :( Right now as I write this review, my eyeballs are being scorched by the hellish 326 PPI resolution.

Great idea but. browser lacks many of the basic features one expects. But this one does get dark and therefore is better at night if you can deal with the missing bells and whistles.

H. Would like refund. In my opinion the wording is a little misleading. In the description it says it is brightness control. I feel that it is misleading because to me brightness control should control brightness. This app doesn't show how to contact developer other than by Twitter. Please send a refund
