Doesn't work!. The book opens and shows only three baseballs as if it's loading. No text, no story.

Game not loading. Please fix problem, this game was 4 bucks and it doesn't load, I want to play it, update!!!!

Updated version works great!. ...same comment as #2, locks up on the first page after opening the book, with 3 bouncing baseballs ...you can page back to the desktop again, but can not advance beyond the bouncing balls ...maybe a problem on first generation i-Pads ...it works fine on our second generation i-Pad ...just downloaded the update and it runs properly on both i-Pads ...the best Charlie Brown, yet!!

Too much time. First of, I like the idea of a PEANUTS baseball story in the summer. Second, it takes tooooooooooo much time for the story to load. I even deleted this app and reinstalled it because I thought it'd be much faster. But it didn't. Only if getting to the story would be VERY much faster.

Needs some work. Sometimes story won't advance and app freezes too...

I really wanted to like this. App freezes. Will not advance. Reinstalled but no difference. Mine stalls when Charlie Brown is on third, Patty is on bench and they have said the best hitter is up so Charlie Brown wouldn't steal home, would he? Every time the app froze. Please fix.

Screen shrunk on iPhone 6+ iOS 8. Needs to be updated for the new software and phones.

App won't open. Installed this app and it will not open. Followed your suggested troubleshooting instructions to reboot system and did not work. Please help or update. Have a disappointed 3 year old waiting to play this. Thanks.

Great book for kids!. Loved this app! I was surprised that it wasn't a game and there aren't as many options as Charlie Brown Christmas but it was a good book. The storyline, sound effects, and background music were all great, and you can click on individual words to help with reading which is cute for kids! It was kind of small on a phone - might be better for the iPad.

Best Charlie Brown yet!. This is the third Charlie Brown book that I've bought. I thought the Christmas story was the best because it was more interactive than the Halloween one and it was a longer story for the money. But now I really enjoy this one the best. Longer story. Each page has some interaction. Lots of dialogue. I really like it.

Fun!. Design is very well thought out. High quality, fun, interactive.

Great book!. It's nice to see that there is some attempt to revive reading and children's books through interactive apps like this.

Doesn't work. Waste of $5. First page doesn't load. The poor licensing of the Peanuts brand continues in the App Store what a shame.

Misogynistic Story. Basically the team doesn't get to have uniforms because the league doesn't allow girls or dogs. Nice of Charlie Brown to let the girls and Snoopy stay on the team but what kind of company republishes this sexist rhetoric in 2014?

Some glitches. Still some glitches - story won't advance after some pages - happened 3-4 time; had to goto choose page option to advance when swiping would not work after some of the pages

Great story. I'm not sure why everyone's complaining about the interactivity of this story. There's lots to do and I feel it actually is the best Peanuts story app thus far. Good work, I recommend :3

This is the Charlie browniest app. My Daughter who will be 5 in May adores Charlie Brown and the whole gang (as she puts it lol) we have All the apps .

Nostalgic!. This app is so clever in the way it is designed. It's a perfect hybrid of a paper book and a computer. You get all the features of book reading, including pop-up figures and page turns with the benefit of animation, dialogue of the beloved characters, and music. This is a treat for kids and adults alike. Kudos to the designers of this app--Charles Schultz would be so proud!

Good not great. First time it was great but then it got boring you just read the book

My Sons Love It (Me Too). It works great. Did have a hiccup the 1st we went to run it. But just exit out, kill the app and run it again. Works great!

Good not great. I have both Christmas & Pumpkin books. They are much more interactive. Since this was new I had high expectations that there would much better interactive material. Still gave it three Stars for a good rendition of a classic.

Great App. This app is fun for all ages. Brought back great memories of my childhood! Lots to do. I have Halloween & Christmas also. Love them all!

Worth a purchase. I don't claim to speak for everyone, but after the previous Charlie Brown app had an unnecessary number of micro-transactions that seemed exploitative, it's nice to see a solid release without any of that business involved. If you are looking to purchase this app for your kids, you can at least have confidence that there are no additional pay walls to interfere with enjoying this classic story, on the other hand this release is quite bare bones, the extra touches in the Christmas and Great pumpkin were nice, I think we just didn't enjoy the pay wall some of those were behind. So it's likely the exchange from those type of features has left this app at a more standard level. I know the temptation to add iap things such as designing a team uniform for Charlie and friends was probably tempting, but loud crow has avoided that for this release, so what we have is a solid title that is somewhat lacking in what made the previous Charlie Brown titles a bit more interactive. 6/25 : performance issues seem to be resolved with most recent patch.

Classic Peanuts. These Peanuts stories bring me back to my own childhood. The quality and presentation of the stories are wonderful! My son and I enjoy reading them together.

Great app. So so story. Enjoyed the format and interactivity. Definitely need an adult nearby if read by a little one. Gang is harsh on Charlie Brown a bit more than usual. But enjoyable enough for long time fans of Peanuts.

Depressing story. This is a depressing story about unrelenting and overwhelming failure. I'm not sure why people think it's so great for children.

Endearing. Well rounded app that I think had a lot thought put into it. I like the interactive aspect to it and the original voices. Highly recommend it and I'm sure the developers will resolve the occasional crashes that I experienced.

Charlie Brown is Hilarious!. I really enjoy this app. I love the Charlie Brown series and summertime baseball is a welcome addition. The story is really funny and I love the interactivity. The side swiping through the story panels is really unique, it works really well for this story. It is a cross between a comic strip and a pop up book. I love that you get to pitch the ball and hit with the bat, nice touches. So cool that each character's baseball cards comes up when they say a line. My app has not crashed once, maybe the glitch is fixed.

My childhood comes back!. This latest version of this game work good! It's great to see Charlie Brown and the gang back again! I'm hoping the new computer graphic movie of The Peanuts will do them justice. Charlie Brown had a great world.
