For decades, the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment has initiated the development of individuals across hundreds of roles -- from top business executives and managers to salespeople, nurses, lawyers, teachers, students, pastors, and more -- in various industries and cultures worldwide.
In 2001, Gallup introduced the world to the original Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment with Now, Discover Your Strengths. The book became a New York Times bestseller and sold nearly 2 million copies. Its author, past Gallup chairman Dr. Donald O. Clifton, was named the Father of Strengths-Based Psychology by the American Psychological Association.
In 2007, Gallup published StrengthsFinder 2.0 that included an improved version of its popular assessment. The book instantly became a Wall Street Journal, Businessweek, and USA Today bestseller and it has sold more than 3 million copies to date.
Gallup has published more than half a dozen books focused on strengths-based development in various roles. All of these books have used the Clifton StrengthsFinder as the cornerstone of strengths discovery and personal improvement. Now you can take the same assessment that leaders, entrepreneurs, and millions of others have used to improve their lives and achieve success. More than 15 million people have realized the benefits of leading with their Strengths. You can do the same now!

Took forever to register my name and then my username due to "no spaces or extras characters". My iPhone apparently adds a space once I tab to the next line. Finally got in, activated and it didn't register me?! Asked me for more money? I paid $20 LAST night for my top 5 strengths?! I couldn't figure out how to log-in (same exact email). Needs work and I don't have the time or patience (activator is my #1).
Previous version had more free content
Succinct and user friendly
I was stoked to do the assessment on a mentor's recommendation. I carved out the recommended hour of time to dedicate to the assessment. After the final question was submitted all I got was "Calculating". I let it sit for over an hour and checked back over the next few days and it never moved past "Calculating". Worst of all there seems to be no recourse, customer service or way to repeat the assessment. Gallup: Get your QA folks on this really bag bug before it further damages your reputation! Users: DO NOT BUY THIS UNTIL THE BUG IS RESOLVED. You will lose money and more importantly your time.
Really disappointed with spending $74 for upgrade and not having it work. Keeps telling me to sign in with a different account.
An incredible improvement to this app! I have my strengths community at my fingertips! Love it!
Looks and works great.
I always refer my friends to the app because so many people forget their strengths after they take the test. The app is a easy way to accuses your Strengths and see your personal insights.
Like the direction we are going. Looking forward to some future improvements!
The update is nice on the eyes. Simple and clean, yet brags the appearance of offering more detailed information than previously provided. Highly recommend.
Finally a Strengthsfinder app for those of us where memory is not a strength. Thank you. Great to see strengths within domains. Would like to be able to track strengths of others and show within domains compared to my strengths.
If Gallup wanted to make an good app, they would at least find out what user’s standard expectations were. This app cannot download the full list of 34 Strengths! It can only share the top 5 on social media. What good is that? After paying $80, now anytime I want to review my Strengths I have to login/open to the app. What if my phone battery is low… what if I’m on a call…? They should have made it so that I could email the whole list of 34 at the very least to get it off an app platform. Then I could print out the list for easy reference. Personally, I use Evernote, so a data merge integration would be great to have.
I'm disappointed in this app. I'll be deleting it if I don't see an improvement in a week or so. Why should I have to log in every time I want to access my info?
Made in app purchase. Tried logging in with existing, known to be working credentials, I keep getting prompted to make an in app purchase. I go to the purchase screen and there is no way to restore a purchase only to buy a new one. Contacted the developer and no response days later.
I'm not sure why I need to opt to take the test again and enter the access code I used to get my strengths to show up. My strengths are associated with my username and password. That should be enough. Please fix this!
This app is fine for what it is: 1) Lists your top five strengths with definitions 2) Provides list of strength references 3) Is a nifty way to present you with an offer to pay $79.99 for all 34 of your strengths. I just have an Evernote entry with my strengths report, so the app doesn’t really add much beyond that.
I have been a strengthsfinder fan for a long time. I have every book published and taken every assessment. However, I can't access my strengths; I can only access my strengths leader. If I wanted to redo the strengths (which I don't) it going to cost me $79.99. Outrageous!!! What information is accessible is extremely basic. So I will be deleting this app.
It's great to finally have a pocket reference for my strengths that is quick and easy to use. It's especially nice to have all 34 available, as I know my top 5 well but the others not-so-much. I look forward to more content!
This is a perfect way to keep your Top 5 strengths top of mind when you're on the go. The application gives you an easy way to view all of your 34 strengths and their domains. It also has a quick reference guide on the definition of each strength. If you're serious about strengths, you need this app.
I've been waiting so long for an app to come out for strengths! I don't know why but I can never remember my strengths off the top of my head so having this simple, convenient app helps a lot! Thank you app guys at Gallup for finally bringing strengths to the App Store!
