Great workouts but the new sound effects are confusing and annoying. I previously gave this app 5 stars but needed to downgrade to 2 due to the awful new sound effects during a workout. The previous sound effects were intuitive and allowed me to start and stop without needing to look at my phone. Now I’m not sure if an exercise is starting or stopping or if I’m supposed to switch sides, because the sounds are so similar , and I keep having to check my phone while working out. Talk about “fixing” something that wasn’t broken. UPDATE: it turns out that when they made this update they turned off the whistle sound, which made no sense, since it is key in knowing when a workout starts/ends. I figured this out and turned it back on, which resolved much of the issue. Still, why turn it off in the first place? Reluctantly updating to 3 stars.

Good design marred by crashes on watch. I really want to call this app my go-to for workouts. The default Scientific Seven-Minute Workout makes for a great daily routine – even in a hotel room – and if time allows, I can easily opt for multiple circuits. The watchOS app even illustrates exercises and allows for basic workout configuration, which makes it the best I’ve used so far…when it launches at all. Thing is, unless I wait the six or seven minutes to restart my Watch, the app is more likely to crash on launch three to five times before it successfully starts; and about half the time, it crashes before it writes my heart rate data to HealthKit, dropping a ton of useful biofeedback about performance and recovery. If they could fix the crashes on the watch, I’d pay for a subscription and enjoy varying my routine. As it is, I’m going to keep my eye out for a similarly designed app that’s reliable. Update with a great example: I just used the watch app to configure a two-circuit workout (2x 7 minutes) and started in. After one circuit, the announcer says, “Workout complete!” Fine. Whatever. I tap the workout to start it again, and after the first circuit is finished, it decides to move on to a second circuit this time. I swipe right and the only option, of course, is [Cancel], so it doesn’t log that second workout at all!

Never boring!. Wow. I am not an athlete. I’m not a super active person. I’m not a health fanatic. Just a pretty regular middle-aged person who, from the typical stresses of life, let his health slip a bit - gaining some weight, bloodwork that’s not critical but could get worse, etc. Enter Seven into the picture. I am on a 49 day workout streak, which I’m pretty sure is the longest I’ve ever achieved. Even on difficult days when I really don’t feel like it, I think to myself, “It’s just seven minutes. I can do this.” Sometimes I try to do two 7 workouts in a day, sometimes 1 paired with a walk or something. And of course this is not a “miracle” app - I’m also having to get better control of my diet and stress management. But I AM seeing improvements. I feel better, and I can tell I’m getting stronger little by little. But the most impressive thing about this app that I really wanted to write about is that, even after 49 straight days of 7 workouts, I STILL encounter new movements that it asks me to do within a given session. That’s crazy to me! And I haven’t even gotten into making my own custom workouts, just regular ones that the app gives me. I rarely write app reviews, but the subscription I am paying for this app is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

You will be surprised how 7 can change your life. That’s a big statement, I know. But 7 has taken me from someone who did not exercise to one 7 workout a day, to now having a 531 day streak. The key is to get started. I’ve got a fair amount of experience with this app. We average at least 3 a day as part of our workout program. This is our go-to for body weight HIIT. You can use it most anywhere and it’s got a pretty good variety of exercises when you are a subscriber. It could use more though - after 531 days there does tend to be some repetition. Though the new additions of the weekly plans and the challenges help mix it up. Would love to see integration with other components like weights or TRX - yes, I realize those require additional components (though TRX can be bodyweight only) but they would provide a lot more variations. I would also love to have the option for a family plan. For a long time both my wife and I could use this no problem. Then the app changed and we had to transfer the subscription back and forth even though we are on the same iTunes account. Now it appears this no longer works and each person has to get a subscription. If you are just starting out getting into shape this is a great way to do it. It’s only 7-10 minutes a day at a minimum. Soon that will be too easy and you’ll do more. Before you know it you’ve completed the 7 month challenge and changed your body and your health. You can do it!

My new favorite!. Before and during COVID, I tried out a lot of diet/exercise apps to get some results from my routines. I settled on Keto for diet but could not find what I was after til I hit upon 7. This is an ideal app, I think. Foremost, there is no trainer doing a bunch of repetitious counting, which I find very annoying. And you can configure that function any way you like. If you would like a drill sergeant, they’ve got that too. Next, you can do from 1-5 set repetitions, so you can do as many or as few as you have time for on any particular day. Every day has a different set of exercises and there is a library full of different sets. There is a “live” exercise option, when it’s active, anyone who joins in is working out “with” others all over the world. Pretty cool. I absolutely love this app and I love that it’s only about $40 a year. Most others seemed to be $20 and above per month. Better quality, lower price. Can’t beat it! I’m kind of addicted!!!

Disappointed. I never review apps but this really got under my skin. This app started off great. I’m a new mom (during a pandemic nonetheless) and trying to get back to working out. I’ve crashed and burned when trying to jump right back into my old 30-60 min workouts so 7 minutes was doable for me. I went almost a whole week working out and I felt great! The workouts were fun, I loved the variety, the live workouts, the duels, achievements, pretty much all of it! I was pumped for the next week and then boom! I’m locked out 😡 I understand app developers need to make money but I feel the option to either pay or continue free with limited features should always be an option. Completely locking me out immediately and forcing me to pay if I wanted to continue, made me stop using your app and not wanting to pay. There are SO many fitness apps on the market now so from an app developer’s perspective, I think you should give the consumer the option to pay or not pay. Most apps do that and they are successful. We’re still in a pandemic and people can’t go to the gym. Now is the time to appeal to the consumer and not back them into a wall to pay for your app. I bet if you let them workout for free with limited features and they’re successful with reaching their goals, they’ll upgrade later. Just my two cents 🤷🏼‍♀️

This app changed my life. I usually don’t leave app reviews, but I couldn’t let people not know how amazing this app is. I downloaded this back in July 2019. I was overweight. I hid the weight very well and didn’t look “big” on the exterior, but every time I stepped on the scale, I knew it time for a change. I also wanted to lose some pounds before my best friend’s wedding in November 2019. I downloaded this app to give me some motivation to be active and put it front and center on my phone so there’s was no excuse for me to ignore it. I worked out Mondays-Fridays at 7 pm (keeping with the theme/title of the app). The workouts were very hard to do at first and soon it became all too clear how out of shape I was. But I didn’t let that deter me. I kept pushing. With this app, a healthier diet featuring smaller portion sizes and virtually no takeout food, 1-2 liters of water a day and increased fruit and veggie intake, I was able to lose 10 lbs before my best friend’s wedding. I still use this app to this day with the same weekday schedule and have lost a grand total of 25 lbs. I never thought in a million years I would go back to weighing as much as I did in high school. I honestly could not have done it without this app pushing me to my absolute limits. If you need a sign to download this and change your life, here it is!

Great long term exercise solution!. I've been using this app for over a year and a half now and I've seen a huge difference in my work days since implementing it 3 times a day. I do a workout every 2 hours throughout my work day. For someone like me, who sits at a desk all day, it's made a huge impact on feeling healthy because it effectively breaks up my sedentary job and keeps my metabolism up. I used to be a lunch time workout guy but this only made my heart work once per day-this simply wasn't doing it for me and I frequently had issues with poor circulation in my legs etc. But now, by exercising multiple times a day with the high intensity that many of the 7 minute workouts demand, I feel much more physically balanced. I'm grateful for this app! Thank you.

Change your life for real- Just as good as the Gym. This is an at home system of calisthenics. Using ONLY Seven, I lost more than 50lbs, cardio and endurance went through the roof, felt good and looked good. They have a community built in so you can be inspired and stay motivated plus you can link with family and friends and compete. I’ve tried MANY different fitness apps and used to be a gym rat -Seven is easily the best out of all my other routines. Still built muscle, cuts and sculpts, great aesthetics for those wondering. And you have much more time. I did it roughly 21 minutes in the morning (3 workouts) and 21 minutes at night (3 workouts) 4 out of those 6 were stretch and cooldown workouts 🙃. Stay at it 5 days a week, I promise you’ll get results.

Great starter to fitness. This app has really helped me slowly get back into shape and do workouts that elevate my heart rate more than just walking. It helps to know you can do this for only seven minutes a day. I think it helps mentally knowing that it is a short workout and makes it doable to start getting back into working out after being sedentary for too long. I'm combining this and walking along with improving my diet and tracking the foods I eat so it can help me on my weight loss journey. I have just started and it's only my third day but doing great and feeling good. I'll write an update later after I've been doing it awhile. I recommend this app! It's great! You don't have to go to a gym and can do it anywhere and it's easy to fit into a busy schedule!

Love the quality, disappointed with the quantity. This app is great, especially for someone who struggles with discipline in regards to workouts. I love how it gives you a visual of each exercise along with countdowns for each 30 second circuit. It’s a great way to get a body weight workout accomplished in a relatively short period of time! HOWEVER, I’m highly disappointed with the quantity of workouts and exercises of the app, as well as the frequency that they are updated. I’ve been a paid Seven “Club” member for more than a year now and I don’t remember the last time I saw a new workout on the app. They are great, but after a while the workouts and exercises start to get old. Especially now with COVID-19 happening, I would expect Seven to step up and add more content to the app that enables people to continue a healthy lifestyle while staying at home during this pandemic.

Good app! Needs more for those who aren’t subbed tho.. Ok. I love this app. It motivates you to keep pushing yourself till you meet your goal. I do have a problem with the 80% that is locked behind a monthly subscription (or yearly I can’t remember). I wish that we could watch an ad and get access to the workout for 1 exercise. Like, if u wanna do core, u watch an ad, and get to do 1 core routine exercise, like planks and sit-ups, and crunches etc. You get all that for 1 exercise, and have a time limit till u can go it again. Then if you still want to exercise, you can go to a different exercise and do the same thing, getting another time limit till you can watch an ad to do it. That, to me, would be a better system that what you have now. Again, great app, but I do hope you take in mind what I’ve said about the ad thing. This app also has a great community. I like the live workouts as well! Everything about this app I like besides the fact that I won’t have access to different exercises unless I want to do a live workout, which I can’t control when I have time to exercise.

Pretty Good. This app overall covers various aspects of workout techniques that are key to a fitness app. Is admirable to see how the app treats fitness as any other game on our phones. In order to continue with more challenging exercises, you need to first unlock them by doing easier versions of them. Overall the seven minute concept seems smart, but I think the time should be a little bit more customizable. Along with that I love the 3-D feature that shows us exactly how to do each exercise. Overall, Do you only drawback is if one wants to focus on a certain part of their body they first need to get through the other ones before. It seems a bit unnecessary when it comes to that. This app also takes a lot of storage on your phone for it has to download the 3-D animations.

I don’t think you can change your subscription and other problems. Approximately, I’ve been using this app for 4 days now, but there were some problems. I think I should rate this a 2 1/2 stars. The first problem is you can’t change your subscription. I am a young tween and I knew that because it didn't say that you can change it, and I don't pay for stuff like that. Second, last time there were more than 200 workouts, now like 188 of them disappeared probably because of the update. Last, you can’t use wifi in another place because it's illegal to not ask the owner of the place maybe. Please fix those problems whatever I said and make it go back to the way we want it to be!!

Love it! Can you add something tho?. I love everything thing about it. I love that you can choose a different Voice like for example the cheerleader Voice I like that it gives you positivity on the cheerleader one. but I wish that there was a setting there might already be one I don’t know I wish there was a setting that like you can turn off chat on your profile so people can’t chat on there like if you post something they can’t say anything and you can’t chat on other people stuff. and maybe you could take off the location thing we’re on your profile you can say your location because I feel like it’s just kind of creepy that someone will see your profile then know where you live thank you for your time. -Sloane

A little challenging. I have trouble doing push-ups and almost every arm exercise. But I always think to myself when I think it is hard is that I just say I know this is challenging but if you keep doing it you will get stronger. I love the app but in the beginning I wasn’t ready for push-up’s and it was just a little challenging when I had to do it. I also was having a questions about what do you think is one way to help me eat healthy for like a snack when I’m done with the workout or after school? 🤩🤩 Also sometimes on the workouts my arms give out is that normal? Also and one ☝️ last thing when people workout 🏋🏻‍♀️ is it normal to be so tired 😴 , and you feel like you can’t do anymore? Well thank you 🙏 for listening 👂 and I hope 🤞 you answer back sponsors!!😇😇😇😇😇💪🏻💪🏻

Accessibility for seated/limited mobility is lacking.. First the main glaring issue: Seated exercises are locked behind the paywall. Seated exercises should be made available for free, especially as there are individuals who are disabled or limited mobility who could benefit from a free, daily seated exercise. Please make this available for everyone, and don’t exclude disabled or limited mobility individuals. I have family members with limited mobility who could greatly benefit from this simple exercise app if seated workouts were included for free, and I imagine the user base could grow as well. I also feel like unlocking workouts permanently should be easier to accomplish rather than unlocking a single one after a 3 month workout-streak. These challenges could be interrupted due to circumstances outside of the user’s control. It seems awfully unforgiving. Apart from my gripes on accessibility and unlocking workouts, I enjoy this app for getting a quick, high-intensity workout in. The exercises are pretty straightforward, though I modify some of them as they’re too intense for me. The interface is well polished and nice to look at. Be aware that the workout timer has a glitch where the final 3-second countdown either happens to slow or fast. Hopefully this can be addressed.

Preferred when you could buy workouts. I loved it when they made it so you could buy individual workouts. Was disappointed when I started using it again to find that you can only access additional workouts if you pay a monthly fee. Great workouts but not being able to access the ones I want without signing up for a subscription doesn’t work for me. EDITED: Tried the subscription hoping to do one of the plans. Alas, the 3 available plans change daily and I can’t find them anywhere other than the main screen so I can’t continue with a plan after the first day. Would like to unsubscribe but don’t see how to do so. EDITED TO RESPOND TO DEV: I did contact support and they didn't understand what I was talking about and kinda responded like I was an idiot so I asked how to unsubscribe and that they could help me with, so I did.

7 minutes changed my life. Thank you so much for making an app so simple and yet motivating. I’m not fond of the gym but this little app has changed my view toward caring for my health. I first began with the 7 minute stretch routine. I was slightly overweight and very inflexible. I began to see improvement in my flexibility in just one day. After a few days of the basic stretch I ventured into more difficult exercises. I love it. I’ve been using it for over a year now. I’ve lost weight, toned up and I keep preaching to my family members how easy it is to start and keep a healthy routine with this app. Several people I know are all using the 7 app. If you are too busy to spend 7 minutes a day to improve your health then get ready to waste time being sick or fatigued.

Horrible for Beginners. I am a beginner. I don’t have a lot of experience working out at home. I thought this my be a great app to try. It led me through some questions, and then presented me with starting my first work out. I specifically specified I was a beginner during the sign up process. I pressed the button to start the workout and the app immediately went into drill instructor mode. It began counting off exercises without any explanation as to what the exercise was or how to properly do it. The first one, jumping jacks, was easy enough to figure out. Then it went on to things like “wall chair.” As a novice, I had no idea how to do it. Do I do reps? Do I hold the position? How do I make sure I’m doing it properly? When it got to push ups, apparently it just assumed I was fit enough to do a full set (I don’t even know how many that was), same with sit ups. It went so quick that I barely had time to look and see what type of sit-up. Did they want my arms behind my head or in front of me? It was already 2/3 through the count when I figured it out. Finally I stopped the workout. It asked me if I was sure I wanted to quit, and I said yes. I lost all data from the sets I had completed. Also, there was no way to tell the app how many push-ups I actually did versus what the app wanted me to do. This app might be okay if you already somewhat fit and know what you’re doing, but it left me feeling frustrated.

Thus is a great app!!. Get this app! This app has helped me SO much. It’s very easy to use - all you have to do is press start! It goes right into a 5 second countdown, allowing you to get into position for the exercise. This creates a sense of urgency that increases your chances of committing and following through with your desire to exercise, consequently increasing your overall self-esteem! I’m in my 20’s and have a lot of joint problems, which makes it very difficult for me to exercise. I also have severe ADHD that makes it incredibly difficult to come up with my own workout plan. Usually I’ll want to workout but i don’t have the motivation to actually do so. I started using this app less than a week ago and I’ve already noticed that I have ✔️increased energy✔️ increased ability to focus ✔️ less stress and anxiety. Just give it a shot! You won’t regret it!

I love this app!. I love this app because unlike a lot of other workout apps I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that’s too hard for me to do ( I mean they don’t start off at a level of challenge that fits where I am physically), this app has workouts for beginners like me who need help. They aren't to hard but I still feel like I’m getting a really good workout. I also like that it gives you options of what kind of works you want. You can do group workouts, random workouts for when you just feel it, or a daily workout. And I also like that they aren’t too long and if I feel like I could have done more I can tell them why and they will change it for my next workout. At the end of each workout they ask you how hard it was and then use that information to make your next workout better. I love this app and highly recommend!

No way to choose alternative exercises or work around injuries. I’m in my mid 50s, work out four times a week, and wanted an app to offer quick workouts for off days or travel. On the surface, this app looked like a good fit, but the lack of a way to adjust workouts for injuries, remove high-impact exercises from the library, and/or swap to higher or lower-impact excises during a session are deal breakers. Get to my age, and you’re likely to have a few dings and nicks that you need to work around during a workout. Other apps I’ve been trying allow you to enter problem areas into your profile or offer the chance to swap an exercise during a session. But not this one. Just a few days in, I was given a workout that included pike jumps (which are probably not a great exercise option for anyone not trying out as a cheerleader or for Cirque du Soleil anyway), clapping pushups, and ninja squat jumps. This app only allows you to skip an exercise entirely or figure out an alternative on your own. If you’re young and uninjured or have been fortunate enough to hit middle age as unscarred as Tom Cruise appears to have achieved, you may like this app. If, like me, you sometimes need to nuance your way around particular exercises, take a look at alternatives like Home Workouts or 30-Day Workout Challenge that recognize that some of us need alternatives every so often.

Not even a freemium app. At first, I really liked the idea of alternating my workouts to keep things quick and interesting. In addition, I liked the fact that you could select a randomly generated workout at any time. Some of the exercises were difficult to do in succession (as other reviewers have mentioned, not having the space or equipment for step ups, etc) but the fact that you could tap on the workout and see the exercises and a description and tips was super helpful once I figured it out. Unfortunately, going in to the second week, all the exercises were locked and the only way to see them was to pay for the membership. I’ve seen that every other week that you can unlock new workouts which would be a great goal to work up to, but I don’t really want to financially commit to something until I have a better feel for how often I’d actually use it.

Good presentation but a number of exercise issues. This app is great in all but the exercises. Some of them are difficult to do indoors with limited space. The app also likes to throw something at you like step-ups or tricep dips that require furniture, or wall sits that require open wall space, and it gives you zero warning in order to find something suitable. So you’re either scrambling to find the necessary equipment/space within the 10 seconds you’re supposed to be resting, you have to pause it in which case it’s no longer 7 minutes and you lose intensity, or you have to skip them. I flat out can’t do some of them because I’m either too tall to do it indoors and/or I don’t have suitable furniture or free space. This is all compounded by the fact that you can’t choose to exclude an exercise from future workouts. Rather than say “hey I don’t have the necessary space or furniture for tricep dips, stop showing me them” it’ll just keep trying to get you to do them over and over. There are usually 3-4 exercises I can’t do out of the 12, that’s a quarter of the workout gone. I’m in the free trial too, so supposedly there are 200 exercises, yet it still shows me the same one I have to skip over and over. It has potential but it needs a lot of work.

First workout app. First time to use an exercise app, thank you to the staff who put it up! Since I started following the workouts I’ve lost 2 pounds🥰 Plan to continue though some of the exercises I can’t even finished halfway but trying hard😓 Thank you Seven😀 NB: noticed the rankings are not updated, is everybody on holiday? More than 2 years now I’m using Seven, my weight fluctuates but I feel my strength is getting better. I’m 68 years old but do not actively participates in workouts . I have mild weakness on my right side and some other problems on my joints ,but still do the exercises and modify most of it . Overall my bone density and balance has some improvements. Thank you.

Basic but good. I downloaded based off other reviews. I’ve been using 7 for almost 2 months. The workouts are pretty generic and don’t seem to update often or at all with new ones. I wish they would work to incorporate new options, but it is a good app, easy to follow and use. Keeps me going and the decent variety it creates randomly helps change up my routine. The custom built workouts are easy to setup and follow at my own pace. I wish it was easier to switch rep length, rest length from each separate workout. The live workouts are engaging and offers a lot of variety. The leagues keep everyone accountable and gives a little competition. Overall happy with my purchase but I probably won’t renew unless a large update with new exercises comes out soon.

I love seven. Seven is amazing I would recommend this you can do also if it’s too much for you don’t have to have a account so if you’re not old enough or email or you can’t use your parents email at the time you can continue with our account you just won’t have as much privileges I don’t have a email so I don’t have that many privileges but it is also fun and it’s a good workout it does make you sweat you also feel burn but it’s normal it’s nothing to worry about it’s just me such a burn calories it shows you how many calories you are burned you also have to hook it up to health if you have an iPhone like me you have to hook it up to health to let it all have access to the health and whats your limit to your heart you know stuff like that to make sure that don’t cause any heart damage so I really advice seven

Effective, efficient, and convenient. I cannot capture just how much I love this app. I paid the fee for the complete app. It is so worth it. If you feel like it’s too much, compare it to the monthly gym membership. So many different workouts with the full membership, which means you won’t get bored. Plus this works. I travel a lot, and I always have my devices with me. No excuses. I once did a workout a little past midnight. I’m sure the gym wasn’t open, but guess what was. You got it - 7. My last comment is about the difference it made. After just one month, people actually noticed my weight loss (people who didn’t even know that I was trying!). If I haven’t convinced you yet, nothing will. But don’t complain later how you’re not in shape. It will be your own fault.

Highly recommend!. I seriously love this app. I used to do a 20 minute Pilates workout but started slacking because I didn’t have the time (I’m a strictly morning workout person only). I found this app and fell in love! I always have time for a seven minute workout. It’s been a year and a half and I’m stronger, have more muscle, and at least half of my pains have gone away! I highly recommend this app; it will change your life! I have one recommendation. Instead of showing the number of workouts, you should show the duration of workouts. One person may do a seven minute workout which shows as one workout. But when someone does a thirty minute workout, it still shows as one workout. So on the leagues they would be tied. Leagues should show duration instead because the two workouts are not equivalent.

Used to be much better. I’ve been using this app for quite some time. It used to be much better before as you had to earn workouts through keeping up with the exercises, but now you can simply purchase everything. Back when you had to earn workouts, I found myself not missing a day, I completed it everywhere, even on vacation. I felt the need to earn was enough to push me and I worked harder to acquire the missing sections. Now with purchasing it all, I barely use this app, only when I’m short on time and still only the free section. I find having to pay for it took away my motivation to use the app as there is plenty out there for free. This app isn’t SO amazing I need to spend money on it. The amazing part with keeping up with the workouts and the motivation that came from it to keep earning more workouts and badges. Now that portion is gone and I find myself using other apps and videos instead, for free cause I don’t need or want to spend the money. Sorry!

Surprisingly challenging-in a good way. To keep it brief, I think this exercise app is very cool. I have never considered even looking for an exercise app, as I have independently been on the ball for most of my life. However, status post 3 young kids, full time job, and general daily survival, exercise has been taking last place for the priorities of my life. Nevertheless, I’m not sure where I found this little diamond in the rough of apps, but taking 7 min out of the day (more like 10 bc I need to rest more than the average person) to break a sweat and work my muscles seems ludicrous not to fit in my day. Mostly bc I know it’s the right thing to do. The app is super easy to use and easy on the eyes with excellent descriptions and demonstrations of the exercises. Definitely worth trying if you need to fit in a short exercise routine into your day.

Not too bad actually. I have wanted a good workout app for a long time, and to be honest, this ones pretty good! The workouts are short and challenging, and work perfectly with my schedule, because the workouts are short. There are 2 things I would say about this app, but otherwise, it is a good app. The first thing is that there are almost NO WORKOUTS you can do if you don’t have premium. You can do about 12 then THATS IT. I mean, I understand that you need to make money and stuff, and I’m not saying all of the workouts should be free, but I think that more of them should be available to those who don’t have premium. The second thing is that it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to listen to music and podcasts while your doing a workout. Your app will pause my music about every 20 seconds, so then I have to pause the workout, go into my music app, resume my music, and then resume the workout. It really is a pain, so if you could make it so it doesn’t pause my music and podcasts, that would be extremely helpful. Overall, good app with good workouts. I would just fix the music problem so it won’t pause my music, and add more workouts available to people who do not have premium. Thanks for reading this, and good job! Keep it up! 👍

Almost. I almost bought the subscription since using the free trial was fun but once the free trial was over the app had nothing to offer. It was no longer creating weekly workouts. I know you need money to continue the app but it would have been more appealing if there were something to show in the completely free version such as a sneak peek as to what we are missing. During my free trial time, I notice one of my unhealthy habits kicking in. The app is very competitive based which was one of the reasons I downloaded the app. But the problem was the way it went about the challenges, it was constant and had a bunch of notifications. Even when turning the notification off I was still implied to try to get some workouts in. At least for my mental health and comfort, this app wasn’t for me. It was hard to accept the bad days and be proud of the good days. I just wish the app had my mindset in mind to create a more positive and slow motivational enrichment. But that’s just me.

30 days and seeing great results. Today I reached my 30th consecutive workout. Friends have said that I look better. I know that I feel better. I also do a one-hour session weekly with a personal trainer who focuses on core exercises. My work schedule involves lots of long hour days so doing this first thing each day gets me going. Each week my number of reps for each exercise have increased. I'm about to turn 62 and this workout is the best I've ever done. Go for it! Update - I didn’t submit my earlier review. I’m at day 202 and going strong. I’m closing in on my 7 month challenge and intend to keep going. Another update - passed 700 days earlier this week. Seven is a starting part of every day. Still enjoying the full body workout.

The free version is deceptive. I never write product reviews, but I feel people researching this app should be warned. The first week you get access to pretty much everything and it is great. Easy to use, shows how to do each exercise, great variety of moves and plans for different goals. HOWEVER. After that first week, the plug is completely pulled on you. Almost the entire app is locked off behind a subscription. All the plans and the vast majority of workouts are locked behind a subscription of $10 per month. The free version they offer has about a dozen basic exercises, and when I tried it 3/12 of them were just simple jumping jacks. The only other option is to do the hourly live workout, but that completely removes the convenience of doing 7 minutes on a busy schedule. They counter by saying you unlock more workout programs after 2 months but again the app locks you out after 1 week until you buy a subscription. Very frustrated with the experience on this app and will be deleting. My advice to anyone reading is to look elsewhere. There are tons of other workout apps that aren’t a bait and switch like this one is.

My favorite workout app!!!! SO MOTIVATING!!!. I was on the quarantine struggle bus when I somehow discovered this app. I am normally very active but my usual go to apps were no longer helping and I was feeling extremely unmotivated and very out of shape. I am currently on a 36 day streak since I did my first 7 minute workout on the app. And through the BRILLIANCE of the app design, I am now even doing multiple 7 minute workouts each day. And none of it has felt forced, it’s all been a very natural progression that has never been boring because every day is different. I have never had an app that is so easy to use that does all the thinking for me. All I have to do is show up! 7 minutes are over before you know it so you never dread starting. And there are more features and challenges I haven’t even gotten to yet. Every app should look to this one to help get their customers happily hooked!! THIS APP WORKS!!!!!!

What I need. I appreciate the brevity and variety of the workouts. Because I do them at home, I can choose what I want to focus on: form, speed, quantity, uh... rest... I am in control, and can adapt to what my particular needs are at the time of the workout. I love the fact that there is no music, and no one bullying me to take chances my muscles aren’t ready for, and I can turn off push reminders. I had a shoulder strain that prevented me from doing side plank and push-ups for a few months, so during those exercise times I worked on form; when I was ready, I was doing the exercises better than pre-injury. I did have to research on the correct way to do a push-up (no shame in needing more information) but for a quick maintenance workout this app has been very helpful.

Changed my life. No, literally!. I started using this app 7 years ago (seriously). I was looking for a way to improve my health and give me confidence while going through grad school. Exercise was something I did sporadically but I knew I needed to make it a daily habit if I was going to maintain it during the busy or tough times. 7 minutes was something I could do (even though it’s more like 8 if you do double time on multisided exercises). It gave me something to take pride in. If all else went sidewise, at least I could keep my streak going. It’s been just over 1400 days since I missed one now and I’m looking to keep it up. Start slow and build the habit. Once you got that though, you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel. I also highly recommend the stretching features on this app. It has seriously helped with the pain that comes from spending hours at a desk.

Love These Workouts. I’ve only been using Seven for two days and I already love it. The workouts are clear and there are so many to choose from. The model shows you clearly how to do each one, and there are no distractions. You don’t even have to look at the screen because of all the sound cues. My favorite is creating my own custom workouts because you can choose from every single exercise and compile them into the perfect workout for you. I also love choosing from all of the trainers and doing their personal workouts to earn them. Their personalities are so funny! My favorite part about this app is all of the things you can customize. I love Seven so much and I find myself doing three or four workouts a day. Thank you!!!!

Perfect!. No longer do I have to worry about which muscles to exercise on which days and how to balance my workouts. The app isn’t too complicated, nor is it too simple. My triceps are burning from simple exercises you can do on the floor. Keep in mind that your first time doing each exercise you may need to briefly pause the workout and read the instructions for the best posture/form, but it’s worth it and you’ll get a great workout even if you have to stop for a minute to practice the motions of the next exercise. Edit: I’ve found one thing about this app that I don’t like. If your muscles are too sore to exercise on any given day, there’s no way for the app’s exercise schedule to wait for you. You can’t push the schedule forward. So if you miss a day of leg workouts, well, tough luck because you missed it and tomorrow is a different exercise. Of course, you can manually pick that exercise at any time and catch up but then you have to do 2 separate workouts that day to stay on schedule. There should be an option to have the next workout be whenever you’re ready.

Free app is just a hook. I was disappointed with this app, because you can’t tell from the free version whether or not it’s any good. It gives you random daily workouts that may or may not be at your fitness level, and you have to do them every day for two months in order to unlock a new workout. You can miss two workouts each month, but the third one re-sets your progress. The app asks you to decide how many days per week you will work out. I chose six days. One rest day each week seemed like a good idea. But the app counted my chosen rest day against me and started my two months over! WHAT? The thing is, if I’m just starting out in a fitness routine, I’m not paying for something I don’t know I’ll be willing to stick to. And I can’t figure out if I’m willing to stick to it if it’s constantly random and not a true trial of the app’s services. Yes, I could use the free 7-day trial, but this app just feels like a constant plug to buy their yearly subscription, which is a tactic that annoys me. Have a solid lite version and let me decide from there. At any rate, I did some more homework and will be switching over to a different seven minute workout app.

Greatly improved Apple Watch interaction. Update July 2018- The interaction with Apple Watch now works very well. My only complaint is that when upgrading phones Seven forgets my favorites on the watch and doesn’t seem able to get them back. June 2017- Love the app itself, but it doesn't always play well with others. I use Seven with my Apple Watch. With previous versions I would frequently find that my workouts did not register with the phone app causing broken hearts and much unhappiness. It appeared to have been fixed with a late update in v2, but as of June 2017 the watch app still randomly cancels the workout midway through then forgets that I had a workout in progress. Also, last year I had two weeks left in the Seven Month Challenge when I lost my phone. Despite the claims of cloud synchronization I was not able to restore my progress. It's just an arbitrary milestone, right?

Bad subscription experience. A week has passed now, and I still don’t see the problem solved. Still couldn’t cancel my subscription, and the 7 day free trial will end soon. In addition, only annual subscription was presented to me at that time, so I guess I’ll be charged the annual fee soon? Well, the response from the team doesn’t work, so I have to report the issue to Apple. ———————————————————— The app is really cool and useful. However, the subscription experience is really bad. When I started the 7 day free trial, it didn’t give me the choice to be charged monthly or annually after 7 days, but automatically selected annually for me. When I wanted to changed it, I found that clicking Edit Subscription will give me a blank page. When I tried to contact their support in App Store, the page shows 404...So basically you block me from different ways to manage my subscription. I’m a PM myself, so I understand where this comes from. Either it’s because you don’t think this experience is vital to users, you didn’t pay enough attention to it to make it right. Or, you just want to add friction to this process. Either way, it’s a very bad experience for users. Users will lose trust in the app.

Best workout for those who travel. I have done it all: running, swimming, rock climbing, yoga, weight lifting, CrossFit, Pure Barre, the list goes on. All my fitness came to a crashing halt when my work schedule picked up to 12 hr days and staying in a hotel. I leave early, go home late, and when I get back to the hotel, it’s a mental battle to go get my fitness on. I saw this app recommended and read the reviews about how effective it was. I’m still new to using it, but this makes working out easy and leaves you with no excuse to skip. It is fun, simple, well-designed, functional, and balanced. I highly recommend this for people who struggle to get to the gym, are on the go, or traveling. This will totally elevate my fitness routine. Than you, Seven!

Gets the blood pumping!. I came back after my cruise and knew I needed to start something for a fitter me! I know this will get me motivated to get back in the gym. I just did my 7.5 minutes now it’s shower time before work. YOU CAN DO IT!!!! I really like this workout. I’ve used it for several years (on and off again). Initially, I was pooped could barely finish, couldn’t do the high-knees running in place so I modified it with high-knees marching in place 😛. After a week or so, I notice that my repetitions increased for each exercise and I had the desire to go to the free gym that was less than a 5 minutes walk from my residence. I’m back in again, and trying to build up the desire to make it to the gym 5 days a week and use the app at home to burn extra calories! Invest in YOU and USE THE APP! 2018 is YOUR year!!!!

Pretty good as a free user.. I’ve been using Seven daily for just over a month and it has been awesome. For a “premium” app it treats free users quite nicely. They give you the first week of a goal (lose weight, get strong, or get fit) for free. After that you can always do a full body workout whenever. Once you create an account, you can access a live workout at the top of every hour, the workout is random but some seem to repeat more frequently than others. Additionally you can invite friends using your special link and once they join and complete any workout you’ll receive a new exercise that you can use in custom workouts or through the quick starter (a random exercise session based on the workouts you’ve unlocked). Lastly, every two months you exercise daily you will unlock a special workout so I’m very excited what I’ll unlock this month. Overall, I’m pretty happy with all the features available to me but I do plan on upgrading to 7 Club sometime later this year.

Nice App and it appears the producers listen to suggestions. I really like this app for working out at home. It has a wide variety of exercises and the “perks” are really nice. One of the things that I like the most about the app is that you get rewarded for doing exercises by gaining access to more exercises. This is unusual and shows that the app producers actually care about getting people to exercise, as it means that even someone who doesn’t have money to spend can eventually gain a variety of workouts and enjoy some variety. Users are also offered one unlocked set of exercises a day (somewhat random), so they can try out all the sets. The only thing I don’t like about the app is that I have bad knees and the full body workout (the basic one offered) has been difficult (I’ve had to modify many of the exercises in order to be able to do them). As a suggestion: I recommend giving users a choice between full body and the light/easy fit for their basic set — or unlocking the easy fit set early on. The full body can be hard on the knees and it would be nice to have the easier set to start with (for people with old injuries like mine).

Life changing. I went from not working out for 5 years to not missing a day in 90 days. Seven eliminates the most common excuses for not working out: finding time, traveling to a gym, investing in equipment, etc. I work out after I wake up before showering right in my living room. It also eliminates the uncertainty about what to do next, as it suggests workouts based on your goals (Fitness, Strength, or Weight). All you have to do is press “Start” and a workout will be loaded for you that takes into account what muscles you worked on the day before, as well as your goals/difficulty. I have tried everything: gym memberships, trainers, working out with a buddy, etc. Seven has been the only thing that has motivated me to be more active. More than worth it to pay the subscription since it is way less than most gym memberships.

A Daily habit builder to make real change. The Seven app is truly remarkable in helping me build healthy daily habits and make effective change. And with the “Action hero” Arnold Schwarzenegger voice yelling at me to “DO IT! DO IT NOW!”, there’s every reason to get a workout in and feel great afterwards. It’s difficult to make an excuse for not getting it done, especially with the workout only being 7 minutes. I really feel a sense of accomplishment by not missing a day for 341 days (and only missing 1 day in 590 days at the time of this posting) and staying consistent for over a year. I’m in the best shape of my life, and I contribute a LOT of it to this app and the exercises I keep my body in motion with. Not only am I feeling great about my health, I know I am setting myself up for success for years to come. I highly recommend this app, it is very much worth it.

7 minute. The time for the workout is only 7 to 8 mins which is perfect for my time schedule and the work outs were challenging but quite simple at the same time definitely recommend this app if you want to get fit for the new year!

Best work out app!. I was on my phone on Tuesday do find a workout app and I found seven I gave it to me and my sister did a wonderful workout there are no ads I don’t know what to say! On Thursday morning I did lots of workouts I am so happy I found seven it is the best I definitely recommend this! (I will rate it a 5/5)👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✌️

7 Review!!. Recently downloaded 7 and I absolutely love it! It gets me going during the day and has clear instructions in the tutorial I enjoy the workout being 7 minutes because it is just enough to get you going but not too long if you don’t have the time to commit. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get some exercise in during their days! Edit: Only suggestion I would have for 7 would be the age. When you download it, it says 4+ but going into the app you have to be 16+ to use the app to its full potential. I know that lots of kids especially tweens to early teens (12-16) love working out and it is a bit of a let down for them not being able to use the app to its fullest potential.

Not the best.. I’m not much of the person to criticise apps, but I feel that the app should give you more than just 1 workout. Because if you do the same workout over and over, it gets boring and then you stop using the app. Could you please make it so that there is at least 5-10 workouts. Though if you buy the premium you get a lot of exercises, but I was looking for an app that doesn’t do that. So could you please change that. The app has a good idea of what it is trying to do with a short but helpful exercise to do almost anywhere. But if your still reading this and you don’t want to buy exercises on an exercise app, then I wouldn’t recommend getting.

It’s no ads and it helps u get fit and strong. Seven is a very good exercising app if your out of shape or just wanna be super strong! The only thing I don’t like about it is how many things you can’t access without paying! Seven, if you see this review please calm down on how many things you have to pay for. Like an update… if possible… please

Great home fitness. I don’t do gyms, I also live rurally so this is a great way to work out!! I don’t have a lot of spare time either being busy working on the farm, this is a great way to start my day and add some different exercise other than what I normally do, am already noticing a difference and I’m in less pain now!! Win win 😃

Free and Payed. Hi I would like to suggest that you add a few more workouts into the free version like the full body one. You could add maybe a little core workout and maybe just a few more diverse excersizes? This would be great and would make people leave much happier reviews. All everyone is looking for is something free, diverse and makes a difference on their bodies. You can still make money by having adds and you pay to have no adds and extra special more workouts. Thankyou for your time hope you can compromise something maybe? 💗

Need to be able to blacklist certain exercises. There needs to be a setting where you can blacklist certain exercises so that they don’t appear in your program. People with injuries can’t use this app properly until this is fixed. Plus people hate certain exercises, like planks or burpees. On that note, what’s with all the planks? I didn’t mind them before but they are in every single session, sometimes multiple times and I am so over them.

Amazing. I love this app it lets you friend people (for example your family) and you get to unlock workouts! When you are logging in or making an account you only have to put your email. I would recommend this to people that are interested in workouts

Fantastic quarantine workout app!. I’ve just started using this app and it is one of the best fitness apps that I have used! It gives you challenges that best fit your fitness skill level but at the same time still pushes you! I can’t wait to keep watching my progress cause I’m definitely going to keep using this app!!

Just wondering. I absolutely love this app. It’s pushed me and my friends to be competitive and I can already feel differences. I already feel better muscle and endurance wise, and the exercises are all helpful in different ways. My only concern is the fact it stopped counting my work outs against my friends in the graphs. It says I only completed one today when I have completed 6. It worked fine up until today but some of my friends have had the same problem. Anyone able to explain how I can get it to count again?

Game changer. Downloaded this app to easy into my fitness progression. So many times have I gone hard out at the gym on the first week only to stop going all together because it was too much effort. This app has changed the game as fitness and healthy lifestyle is all about consistency. Seven has given me just that, as long as I do one 7min workout each day I’m staying consistent, with all the extra content in there you can take it as far as you want to, as quickly or as slowly as you want to. This app changed my life and the way I look at fitness. It’s MUST HAVE for anyone trying to break into a healthy and fitter life

It is great. 7 second work out is great since I have been looking for workout apps and they were all terrible but this is amazing since it has no adds during your workout and asks you how you feel afterwards. When you first get the app it asks you what your goal is and then all the work outs you do are helping you to reach your goal

advertises as great but without paying u dont ge much. On the Seven ads it tells u that u can access a wide variety of workouts. BUT. the reality is, if u cant pay for premium, u are limited to only 2 workouts which only have 12 steps. All I am asking of seven producers is to make it possible for us broke people to have access to an app that doesnt make u pay to get healthier. Spare us more than two workouts please!! 🥺

10/10 - amazing!. Super easy to follow - love that you get to select a customised program. The workouts are hard but not impossible! I do 3 circuits daily and end up in a puddle of sweat. I like that they break up the workouts into different body areas so you can workout every day while not feel you are over doing it. Great also for when you’re on holiday - no excuse not to workout. Thanks guys!

Amazing!. I use this app every day to do a workout and wow! I have lost weight and build muscle, this app gives you good instructions and is easy to follow. You can choose at the end of your workout to if it’s to hard, perfect, or easy. But they will make a good workout routine. I love this app and because of it I’m strong and losing weight! 💪

Good App, but there's a small bug. A super helpful app that keeps you motivated to do a bit of exercise every day ! However, there seems to be a small bug with the "Free Today" section: when I click "Watch Video" (with my wifi), nothing happens. So I am unable to access the "Free Today" exercises which is frustrating. Nonetheless, thank you for this app and all the work you've put into it :-)

Amazing, changed me!. When in first discovered ’Seven’ I was a bit sceptical but when I looked into it, I discovered my new passion/goal, staying fit and ever since I’ve got the app and signed up I have worked out like 3x per every day of the week. I would truly, truly recommend that you get this no.1 fitness app! It is for core, strength, lower body, upper body and much much more.

Unfit 69er.. This is a great app, I love 7 minute’s concept and the daily and full body workout option was my first choice, but for my age and unfitness the simplest workout is too fast and too tough! So I’ve modified my routine to work up to the desired speed. I don’t try to keep up with the vector guys, I do modified exercises like; pushups using the kitchen sink granite edge to angle up etc. I’m sticking with it so I can body surf safer, think clearer and enjoy life. I definitely feel better already, yes, well and more vital. Thanks 7!

Not bad for the fat guy. Since I have broken my foot last year I have managed to eat my self to 101kg not the biggest I have been but I have found it hard to get back to a happy non fat place it’s been awhile today I managed to get to 92.3 it didn’t look like much but I can feel my shorts starting to drop this little app witch is only 7 min each workout has been good to help I can skip the ones that hurt my foot and al I have been useing is the free workouts they supply each exercise is only 30 sec long 12 in a block I do t normal share this kind of thing but hey if it works for me it might work for others

IT’S THE BEST!!. Seven is a great way to exercise your self in quarantine or not in quarantine, it’s also a great way to challenge friends when your feeling extra competitive or you want to have fun and it’s just a great app to help you burn calories and to do your regular exercises but my favourite thing about the app is that your able to choose an exercise and if you don’t do it the app sends in a notification saying “got 7 minutes?”

7 review. I really enjoy this apps and it has started me moving again. The voices could be updated as most are quite annoying or silly. I think there should be more rewards as extra exercises open to you if you stick with it. But overall it has increased my fitness in the comfort of my own home. I enjoy this app.

An enriching and useful fitness exercise app.. Thank you to the developers of this app, there are unlimited self managed options for newcomers , motivated fitness participants and more professional options for persons wanting challenges. One can participate as an individual or in a group or offer challenges, overall a great global community. I’ve been following the regimen with minimal lay offs since the ” 7 “ story appeared in the WSJ over a decade ago and I aim to continue the worthy self monitoring via the app. Keep up the the refreshing fitness wellbeing evolution ! Cheers from Melbourne Australia 👍

Meh review- Gen_Ariana_fangil. I found this fun! It keeps you active and best of all its only 7 minutes a day! I just wish it wasn’t money to do other activities. I love playing this with my family and instead of playing on my iPad I’m using it to actually help me in life! 7 minutes is great however I still to more then 1 activity a day. I found it smart how if you miss a day you loose a heart. I recommend families to download this game. My baby sister even enjoys it! It’s a fun thing not only for families but for everyone! I recommend this 4 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍

Work out. It’s doing wonders for my body! I love using it I wanna just be more and more but I do need to give my core my body a break I’m definitely going to recommend this to my friends it’s a lot of fun and I’m getting my dream body which is really exciting for me!!!A great thing about it is that it’s short but you can set it to what you want it to be which is really good and it doesn’t take up a lot of time

Awesome app, but last update ruined it. App works great and exercises are easily to follow. Last update brought some issues with regards to the exercise videos no longer playing. Occasionally you might the first second of the exercise then it freezes while the count down and continues.. please sort this out as it’s part of the reason why many, including myself have purchased this app.

Getting stronger. This is a good app because you can say if you are a beginner for exercise. If you say that they will give you easier ones to start off with. You can even make your own schedule! When you are doing your workout, after each exercise, they will give you a five second break so you can cool down a bit. When I was doing my workout for the 11th time, I set up my workout with no pushups, but because I was doing that for a long time they gave me pushups. I didn’t think I could do it but because I tried hard I did it for 15 seconds! I couldn’t believe it. Each day I feel more stronger because of this app. Out of 10 I give this app a 10/10!

Awesome app- highly recommend. I would really like for there to be more workouts that u don’t have to pay for because i came on the app to try and get fit and make it fun and it’s got really limited options without paying. But that aside i love the app- it’s really easy to use, it motivates you and it makes it really easy to do even a little workout often and keep fit!

Get fit week 1. On day 3 and loving the variety. I’m just coming back from injuries and whilst some exercises and days have been a bit easy, it’s been great to ease back into moving my body without going too hard too fast and getting fatigued leading to stopping, as I tend to do. I’m definitely keen to unlock some more workouts after this week My only criticism, and this is a personal preference, I don’t like changing sides mid way through single side exercises. I’d rather do a full 30 sec round on each side, even if it does increase the workout time slightly :)

Nice app, works pretty well.. I downloaded this app because I had to research a fitness app for my school’s PDHPE assessment task. In my opinion, the app’s short workouts make it me feel more motivated to do it since I do not have to do them for long. The features on the app are very useful and are help encourage the users to exercise more, I really like the achievement features!! I’d say this is a pretty good app, it fits to the users’ needs and finds workouts that suit them and their timeframe. Also suits everybody, even those people who want to exercise but may not have as much time to or want something that isn’t like those 20min workout videos online.

Soooo incredibly happy with this 𗀠𗁬𗀣👍🏽. I haven’t done this For very long at all but I really like this app you can create your own workouts and also put workouts you really like into favourites it’s a bit though and challenging but I don’t mind that it just means it makes you work hard 110% would recommend this app/workout 𗀣

Great App. Great app. Very motivational, gives you reminders everyday if you wish and allows you to set goals for how many sessions a week you wish to complete. You can still get a lot out of the app without paying for full version which I love. I just use the one free circuit and that is enough but I’ve recently discovered the free circuit each day where you get to experience a different circuit option at no extra cost for the day. I’ve really enjoyed this option and it’s encouraged me to use the app more, challenge myself and also consider purchasing the full version in the future. Definitely worth the download to explore the free options.

Good, but would love more options. The app is easy to use, provides explanations and 3D images for every exercise, lets you build custom workouts and generates randomised workouts for you. The only failing so far is there are very few available exercises for free, which limits the variety of workouts you can build. All the basic exercises it provides are easy and effective.

Ninjanina. I love this app!! I have been trying different workout apps and none of them fitted my needs or were too expensive then I came across seven and it is definitely a keeper the amount of money is great for all the things you get and it gives you a good workout all at the same time definitely a 5 star workout app!!

Very good app I like it a lot. I really like this app it helps me get fit quick! I enjoy going onto this app and working out I really like the set up of the app and I thought that it was a very good idea to have the instructor talking to you I find that it boost my energy in a way and overall I gave this a four star rating because of all the above although I would rather it will no price obviously but who wouldn’t though to be honest

Convenient, fun, effective. I would absolutely rate this five stars because it is as my title names it it is convenient all I need using my workouts are a chair for tricep dips and so, it is also fun giving you a sense of community, lastly it is effective but the one reason I don’t rate it five stars is it’s cost I understand to maintain an app this good it requires money however I think fifteen dollars a month and advertisements is more than enough.

Such a good motivator for working out. I'm not a 'fitness freak' as such but enjoy being active and I'm not a fan of going to the gym and working out. This workout app provides amazing shorter workouts that still get your blood pumping. I also love that you can unlock a new workout every second month you stay on the challenge - it's another motivator to exercise! The only downfall is that your progress doesn't track from device to device. I lost over 14 months of progress because I switched from my phone to my iPad.

Great App!!. I downloaded this app just recently and I’m loving it! I found it while looking for an app to help me keep fit during lockdown, and thought I’d try it out. It has simple and fun, yet effective workouts that only go for a short amount of time. I have already noticed that I am a lot more fit than I used to be just by using this app!! It has all sorts of workouts that target different things such as full court, upper core, lower body and so much more. I have noticed on other fitness apps I’ve tried, that the workouts either go to fats or too slow, but Seven isn’t like that. It’s the perfect pace and will always have a specific workout to suit your needs. Loving the app and thought I’d just do a quick review on it. Thanks Seven!!

Every day, 7 minutes. I’m really enjoying this app, 18 days straight now, the exercises and great, and so easy to follow. It was hard to fit in my day but now it is so easy, there is always a workout to select based upon my mood, energy level and location. That is works off my iPad, iPhone and watch is great. When done on the iPad it would be good to add the workout to my daily move rings... Thanks fro designing a good app with very good UX

COMPLETELY FREE workout app. If you’re like me and you see the “free workout app” and download it, and once you do you find that it’s not free at all.. well this is not the case with seven! This app is free and completely free! This is very diverse, able to connect to your Apple Watch and upload your workout data from the day to your progress! You can use it on your phone to step you through the workout with a virtual personal trainer who does the exercise with you! And also prompts you to keep going too! This app is really one of my favourites and allows me to choose the duration of my workout, if I’m pressed for time! Amazing!

Good intensive workout but needs real instructor on screen. Would be better to have real instructor on screen so you feel like you’re exercising with someone. Helps to motivate you. Also, when I start the exercise on the phone it would be handy to use the Apple Watch to pause or provide some feedback on how I went. The app can’t learn if I’m struggling with some exercises to adjust its next recommendation for workout. Not sure if using the app on the iPad contributes to HealthKit.

An awesome app. This is an EXCELLENT workout app. No complaints except one. I wish that there were more than one workout available at the start without needing to pay for the subscription service. It’s good that every few months you get a new workout but I personally think that it would be better if the new workouts were more frequent. Anyway, what do I know. I’m only on day 3 of having this app 😅. Well done with this amazing app.

Great app with Best Apple Watch app, just one thing.... The app looks great I like the smooth animations. The Apple Watch app is way better than other app, you don’t need to press anything, it’s just great, I love it, good job on that. I like that it is focusing on workout and nothing else. That make it my favourite workout app out there. The only thing is... I pay for premium access so I could follow a plan, and it’s fine, but we cannot subscribe to it, we have to manually select that plan every time. I would like a follow button on plans so when we go back to the app it remembers where we left off and could also display the completed days not only in the calendar page but also under the subscribed plan page. Hope someone will read that. Other than that everything is great keep up the good work. Thanks.

Excellent app let down by interface. I have been a long term user of this app, it is my exercise go-to with a great variety of routines and excellent animations and what used to be a really slick and efficient interface. This latest release, in my opinion, is a step backwards for the following reasons - Firstly, I used to enter the app and straight away had my favourites in view. I now have to move to other pages in the app to find them, much more clunky. Secondly, you cannot choose the number of sets from within the workout - you need to click half a dozen times to find Settings and enter sets here - really annoying particularly if you like to mix your workouts. Thirdly, the instructor is glitchy on the first set each time trying to call out of sync exercises. Fourthly a limit of only 5 sets in a workout - please raise to a greater number! A 5 star app for sure if these are fixed.

Thank you 7!. This is a great app for 7 year old girls to a 70 year old man. It is also great if you want an app that is free yet great but also want to keep up on your workouts. If you are like me, you would absolutely love this app! My entire family has used this app since it came out and have all had impressive differences in health and appearance. I would recommend this if you want to lose weight, get the summer bod, build more muscle or even work in a specific department of what you want for health benefits. I would highly recommend this! But it and you will instantly see changes and even feel changes in yourself and self confidence. -Sienna Dark

Love the app!. I love this app and am finding it a great way to improve my fitness in a way that suits me. 7 minutes a day is so achievable and it doesn't feel like a chore. I used it many years ago and am finally getting back to improving my fitness. I can see there are many great improvements on the app. Well done!

Excellent for all levels of fitness. When I first started with seven, I could barely last the 7 minutes. The movements weren’t hard I was just unfit. As I was consistent with it, my fitness increased. I still use 7 every day, it’s still fun and as my intensity has increased the workouts are still challenging.

Seven. Seven is a good app in all but this morning I went to go in it and it said I had logged wich I hadn’t. Then I tried logging in again after 15 tries I found out my account had been deleted so that meant everything I achieved was gone, everything I had done was refreshed I had to completely start again. So I recommend being carful what u do.

Just Seven minutes to help change your life…. A great application that just gets better. It has helped me establish simple daily habits by changing my thinking about what can be achieved in seven minutes. I appreciate the feature to do preprogrammed sessions – both solo and together with others in-real time from around the world – as well as the ability to include other exercise sessions.

Don’t have to think !. In gyms being closed currently, it’s been great to actually do a few workouts that you are given exercises. Best of all no equipment ! I’m in the trial period and already keen to have an annual subscription. I may even continue with it when gyms reopen ! I love how you can change up the circuit rounds, and with the already existing dumbbells and gym equipment I have, I have been able to incorporate into making the exercises harder.

Amazing. I love this app tell your family and friends to get it and it’s FREE

Bravo. Bon application pour le sport, nous sommes devenus plus fort mentalement et physiquement. Bravo et merci

Pretty good workouts!. Like the idea of only using 7-ish minutes a day to workout. It’s useful for someone with a pretty busy schedule. So far I’ve only had it for a couple days and liking it. Waiting to see how long I can use the app without signing up or using the free trial. If there wasn’t a sign up/fee requirement, and it was truly a free app, I’d give it 5 starts for sure!

Perfect.. when you don’t have time. You can make 7 min.

J’adore.

Useful!. For me it’s very useful… I’m an international touring artist, and Seven is my new way to have more consistency because of my constant moving around. I’m very disciplined but the touring makes it very difficult on many levels. So I’m almost halfway through my first year and getting comfortable with this. Always hoping that I’m doing the exercises the right way. But the exercises explanations provided in the app are very useful.

Reminders to keep moving. I believe this app is useful because as long as I continue to see the reminders, I have hope that I will not gvie up. Getting back in shape is a goal that I will always have. This desire keeps me going and the reminders are a sign that I haven’t given up. Turning them off means that I’ve lost hope. I don’t intend to let that happen! Thank you for quietly nudging me in the right direction.

Too expensive. You’re product is to expensive compared to the previous price and the upgrade isn’t worth the price. Please consider downgrading the price again so we can all enjoy your app.

Seven. Love it! Anne- Marie

Read this-Seven Workouts everything you need to know. Hello, If you are like me and many other people, you do not spend money on apps! If you don’t, this app is for you! It’s free, you have 12 exercises for free, they are quite simple (plank, pushups with rotations, wall sits...). You can find friends on the app and a free calorie counter along with achievements that really push you to reach your goal! There are also different types of instructors with different voices... you need to finish a specific set of exercises to gain the instructor. If you wish to spend $12.99 (I’m Canadian) per month, you can get 200 exercises instead of 12, they include weekly plans, like bikini body or firefighter fit types of plans. First 7 days free for the monthly plan, and first 7 days free for annual plan at $79.99 (again I’m Canadian!) the coolest part is that this app is even compatible with Apple watches! You need this app, you’ll love it! Sincerely, A random guy

I love this app I just can’t afford the subscription. I would like to thank the developers and the whole team behind this incredible app. I appreciate the 3-D display of what I should do and how to do it properly. My only issue with the app is that I can’t afford the subscription so .I’m only stuck doing the same workouts every day which is annoying but it’s doable. I just Wish that there was more free workouts so I can advance my body in other ways and exercises. But nevertheless I still work out consistently every morning at 10 AM for around 30 minutes and do the exercises that I do have. For free the exercises are quite remarkable on how they teach you how to properly do it. I give this app a 4/5 but I just wish that there was more free than paid workouts.

2 days in. 2 days in. So far so good. I like how this app is set up. It is a lot more simple and user friendly than other apps I have used

Great for beginners and advanced. Great for beginners and advanced people. Whether you are trying to maintain your fitness or get back into it or better yet just begging. It is amazing. Love the UX and UI. Totally worth it

8 stars. If I could give this app an 8 star rating I would! Every single workout app I have looked at has said that I HAVE TO PAY 20 DOLLARS, THATS REDICLUS ,. Not this app , seven is an amazing workout app that I do indeed recommend to friends even my family! This app is free and it has challenges and DUELS the only reason I get out of bed in the morning because of challenge and goals , this helps me stay fit and want to workout . All I can say is that I absolutely love this amazing app and if your looking for a workout app your journey has come to end my friend cause this is the app for you!💪❣️

6 stars!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼. Usually with apps like this they have so many in-app purchases and you can’t even use the app without buying a 20$ subscription ALTHOUGH with this app they make a simple workout easily accessible and FREE!? You can even customize your workout for guess what? FREE AGAIN anyways I just finished one of the workouts and I feel pumped that why I’m so pumped lol but yeah it’s great because they have a little workout instructor and with 30 seconds for each workout and a break in between it doesn’t work you too hard and it makes it all feel very quick and easy and it’s tracking the calories you’re burning WHILE YOURE DOING IT! I LOVE THIS APPPPPPP. Oh btw if you’re reading this and you don’t have it downloaded what are you even DOING?? GO DOWNLOAD IT AND GET GOING BRO!

A personal trainer in my pocket. I’m lazy... This is literally the best thing for someone lazy... Like me. 7’s motivated me and I’m looking forward to making it to my goals, and so far, I’m confident I’m going to get there, thanks 7!

Did not give me a refund. I did not purchase this app. I ended the trial before it ended. It says that I will get a refund of $70.00 if I cancel the trial. I canceled the trial on the second day of the 7 day trial. This app takes my $70.00 and doesn’t refund the money like the instructions have documented. Have I misunderstood the instructions?

Love it!. Keeps me motivated and reminds me to make my health a priority. Variety of exercises we get is amazing and these 7 mins are perfect for HIT training. I love how we can work together with other enthusiasts! Thank you seven! You rock!

Full body 7 minute workout. It is a good workout

Great App. I am working out several times a day, because my brain can’t argue with 7 minutes 😉😎

Where is the daily free workout?. I updated the app and it’s gone.

Awful, waste of money.. Horrible app 0/10 would recommend, only recommend this app to people you hate. 🤮

Star. Excellent app for exercise.

Repetitive workouts. Great platform as a whole, but the exercises are extremely repetitive. Quite frustrated since I bought a 3 month membership, and find myself stuck with the same repetitions. Advice: Don’t buy any of the app subscriptions and stick to YouTube HIITs. Cheaper, better and more intensive.

Regular people need not bother. App’s exercises are good but the way the app is designed, there’s no motivation to continue after “failing” to complete a challenge… like, for those motivated to exercise through fear of failure, this is a great motivator, but if you just want to get a little fitter, look elsewhere. App forces you i to exercise competitions where failure is imminent if you miss 3 days in a month… so once you’ve ‘failed’ what’s the motivation to keep starting from zero? For many, exercising 20-25 days per month is plenty and should be rewarded but Seven basically says ‘don’t bother’ if you can’t do all 30 days. Motivation Fail.

A little disappointed. So this app was probably my favorite workout app, it had a fun variation of workouts to keep me from getting bored, and a free daily workout so I could try the fun variation of workouts as I'm unfortunately too broke to afford anything outside of the basic needs. Imagine the defeat I felt when, without warning, the free workout that kept me working out almost every day for nearly 6 months was suddenly gone. Now I've done almost all the trainer challenges, I've played with the workouts I've earned, but this app just doesn't feel as special anymore.

Unlock free workout. Can we still unlock a free workout every 2 months?

Bon accompagnateur.

7 minutes is good enough. If you are suffering with 0-1 mentality and want to the perfect 1 hour workout every day but ended up not doing anything because you are busy or not feeling motivated enough, START WITH THIS APP. The plan feature makes you accountable and the exercise variety is awesome and you never get bored. And best of all you always keep telling yourself it’s just 7 minutes so there is no excuse. Want to do more? app lets you do two or three rounds if you want to extend your workout.

Easy to fit into a busy schedule. I am 41 and have been overweight for most of my adult life. I never worked out before now and this app is easy to use and easy to fit into my busy work schedule. It has me feeling better that I was and I’m now feeling better about myself. I would recommend this app to any beginner or any one at any level. 5 Star!

Merci!

great app. has helped me keep a workout routine going

Can’t do much without subscription. Decent workouts. Like the format. But free doesn’t give much for options. Only 7 day trial. Maybe with a month trial or 2 week trial? Or more free options. It would be a lot better.

Why do you lock all of the functions and workout behind a paywall. Why do you lock all of the functions and workout behind a paywall?...which is sooo expensive. You’re advertising this as a free app when it’s almost useless for a free user. It’s clear you have no intention in helping people.

Droit au but. Cette application est parfaite pour ceux qui souhaitent avoir une routine sportive.

Who can turn down 7 minutes!. Great all body workout that only takes 7 min. Loving it.

Scammer. Charles bueno

Lost everything. I started the App up today and after spending a few years with it discovered that everything I’ve earned has disappeared and I’m now back to zero. No more “Achievements.” No more “Streaks.” No more unlocked workouts (I had about 20). I have been reset to one workout and a 2 day streak. So although I have enjoyed this app I have no choice to give it a one star review for the complete and total reset. VERY disappointing to have spent all this time with the app and gaining all the achievements and workouts and streaks to once again start for zero.

Great app...until recently. After 7 months using this app every day just the way it is promoted (7 minutes per day, 7 days a week, for 7 months), I was “rewarded” by the developers removing the free daily workouts that it offered for the past 7 months and then telling me that I could buy the full app for $59.99. They, at least, could have let me keep the free daily workouts.

Unable to share with my Family !!!. Apple App store says that Seven is available with family sharing, and I want to let my family access it but cannot ! Seven says: » We're excited about family sharing for subscriptions and are looking into making this possible soon! » In the meanwhile, i have paid for my family but they cannot access it !!!

Full body workout. It’s an amazing app and I found it to be hard but not to hard it also has good exercise

Developer Took Money. I originally paid for a number of workouts in the first form of this app. They have changed to a subscription format and I cannot access the workouts that I originally purchased from the company. There is no way to contact the developer to either request a refund or have my purchases restored. I would not trust this developer.

O. i mmmommmmm kmmimim Oui Lolmm m koi moiimoi mem

Facile d’utilisation. Bien pensé comme application. On peut mettre en pause l’entraînement quand on veut, et faire pivoter le modèle, pour ainsi bien visualiser et saisir les mouvements à faire.

Effective. Great app for daily strength and mobility.

Subscription. It’s really fun and engaging but ya subscription is just to much money

Good for workout. Good app for exercising, but you have to buy premium to unlock all the features.

Hi. I’m enjoying the free trial version of this up but I can’t wait to download I and Use the full version keep up the good work this is an awesome app

No more workouts to do for free.. I really enjoyed this app for a long time. The setup of it is so simple and I always knew I would have some type of quick workout waiting for me everyday. However, they took away the “free today” workouts. This really frustrates me because I’ve already done the character workouts (which were fun, but there’s none left and it doesn’t let me redo them). So pretty much the only free available workout is the full body one. I’m not going to do the same thing everyday because it’s obviously not going to help me. I’m not going to do the 2 months of the same workout just to get one more so the challenge is frustrating too. Basically, unless you’re willing to pay 50 dollars you can’t get just 1 random quick workout. It’s really disappointing that they changed it because it’s obvious they are only doing it for subscriptions and money.

Instructors Don’t Work. I use 7 on my dad’s iPad and love it so much! This app is awesome, but the only thing is that I’ve earn every single one of the instructors, and they don’t work. The device I’m playing on is off silent mode, and the volume is all the way up, but they still don’t work. My brother and I are kind of disappointed because we had this app a few years ago and we would die laughing because of the funny instructors cheering (or jeering) us on! But now it doesn’t work, and we’re sort of frustrated. This app is awesome, though, we’d love it even more if the instructors worked. Thank you and please fix the instructors!

Finally found the program that works for me. I appreciate this program for many reasons. It chooses the workouts for me (no indecision), it doesn’t involve gear or equipment, I can take it with me when I travel, and it only takes 7 minutes to complete a set and feel accomplishment. When I started the program 4 months ago I had to modify almost every exercise even at the novice level. Now there are very few that require this. I have (at age 60) begun to supplement my workouts with a little light jogging - something I never imagined myself doing. I feel great and have noticed improvement in both my flexibility and balance.

Just what I needed. This app is great! I’ve been telling myself for a while that I need to do something to get back in shape but I just never did. Then I found this app. The exercises are easy enough (except for the push ups, but I just do the a modified version using my knees instead of my feet- and I’m sure eventually I’ll be able to do them correctly again) and the coaching is just right. I can’t believe how much I can feel this working after just 4 days! I’m super excited to keep it up and see some noticeable results eventually. This app makes it easy to fit exercise in to my day because it’s only 7 minutes, and I can’t come up with an excuse for that.

Getting Rid of the “Dad Bod”. I made a decision to get rid of my “Dad Bod” as of February 2020. So far, so good on this transformation journey. My workout regimen & tracking is now “automated”. Every checkbox, every cal count is done for you, making it even easier to focus & achieve the next 6 minute challenge. I have lofty goals for “weight loss” but my confidence grows daily as I use the app. I’m over 40 with a full household and this app helps me to achieve something at start of my day along with staying on track on my long term goal of “transformation” inside & out. with all that goes on through my day!

Review. I believe this app is great you can get your workout in and it’s only six steps to work you can also lose and burn cardio while you work out it’s not that hard you can find some time in your day to do it and it’s mostly easy easy steps like I said and all you have to do is just click start and it will give you six or what how many exercises you need to complete your exercising or your workout. You can also customize your workouts so the things that are hard for you you don’t have to do them all you have to do is just customize it and then you can submit and and then you can start your work out every morning.

Great App!. I’ve had the free version of this app for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It’s great for a quick morning jump start to your day when your brain isn’t quite awake yet and you don’t have time for a longer workout. It has very clear animations depicting each exercise and gives you a few seconds to transition between each. You just hit start and go with it. I already work out daily, but wanted something quick I can do in the morning. I’m actually surprised at how effective these workouts are at getting my heart rate up, breaking a sweat, and waking me up in the morning.

My challenge. My challenge is to challenge myself the inner me ever since I started 7 it has given me an awakening within. I must say I have skipped some day and I will be MAD 😡 at myself. I got so busy doing other things. This 7 is made just for me. And consistency is my weakness. I have seen results. I feel like there is another me inside me that's Trimmed not skinny. Not say something bad about skinny its just that I am 254 I'm going to weigh myself. I be cut out snacks, pork, hot 🌭. Last week I have fallen and everything tasted weird Now. I have not had Pepsi in 1 Month... Thank LORD JESUS for 7 and given me another chance at LIFE. My NEW CHAPTER 7❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹

Great start to the day. I am really liking this app. It provides very achievable goals with a lot of variety to choose from. I have exercised most of my life, and I tend to get a little bored and like to switch things up. This is an app that I think I will use forever because it definitely provides a pick me up for any time of day. I guarantee you’ll feel a little bit better about yourself each time you complete one of the workouts. If you cannot find time or desire to do 7 to 8 minutes of a work out, then you must not really want to get in shape. Everyone needs and benefits from a little exercise!

Life-changing. I’ve struggled my entire life with exercise, but this app has helped me finally make it a daily habit. I now feel weird about the idea of going a day without doing anything. You can ALWAYS find 7 minutes in your day. Even on my worst days, I can still do gentle stretching in bed. On my best days, I do way more than the minimum. If you also struggle with exercise and think it’s the most boring/awful thing ever, give this app a try. Set the bar so low that you can’t fail, and those small successes will propel you. My streak is now over 290 days and I can’t wait to finish an entire year!

Quit my gym for this app. I really like this app. I am the type of person who only likes to do fitness classes at the gym, which I have been paying $70/month gym membership for the past few years. But this app has so many different workout routines to choose from and you can adjust to different intensities and target desired areas, and you can even create your own custom workouts. And it times you and calls out commands just like an instructor would. I canceled my gym membership since this is basically the same thing I was doing at the gym, and now I am saving $70/month and all that driving time. Couldn’t be happier.

I love this app!. I am in better shape at 43 than I have been in my entire life, thanks to this app! I never had to do much to stay slim for most of my life until I hit my 40s. I started to gain weight and was miserable. I started doing these 7 minute workouts in January of this year. When I switched from beginner to intermediate is when I started to really see results! This app is perfect for anyone who wants to get fit bit doesn’t have the time, energy, money, or knowledge to craft full body workouts to target and tone! I am so happy with how I look and feel now, and it is so easy to have everything laid out for me!

Do it! it’s just 7 minutes 👍🏾. This app/program is really helpful! For me, because motivation moves me it’s easier to workout with a group or partner. However this app definitely helps, it has the tools & options that can be configured to give you that kick of encouragement. There’s variety so the plans fit whatever it is you may need, & demos included in the even a certain exercise is new to you. 7 minutes will go by several times throughout the day, I say take at least one of those cluster of minutes and do something great for you body. Try it, nothing to lose & everything to gain, it’s just 7 minutes 👍🏾

7 minutes a day? I can DO that!. Finally a daily program I’ve stuck to for a whole week. Gamification helps (I don’t want to go back to day one of my 7 minutes a day, seven days a week, for seven months challenge). Paid for the subscription to do more than the free daily. So worth it! A bunch of preset options, a great filtered “shuffle” option to make new workouts based on certain criteria, and today I found the build your own custom tool to make your own mix from their long list of exercises. I expect to start building longer sets or doing additional rounds on some days soon now that I’m getting used to the daily movement habit. Love that there’s cardio, strength, AND stretching options.

Amazing! But I have a suggestion.. I noticed you can change the times that it gives you to do the workout (like changing rest time, movement time, etc.) but you have to change all the movements/rests in the workout to that time. I think you should implement a feature that lets you change the times for each individual movement. For example, If I could easily do high knees in place for 30 seconds but I am having a little trouble on the wall sit, it would be great if you could change the high knees time to longer while leaving the wall sit unaffected. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Great phone app, okay watch integration. The iPhone app is great. Lots of good short workouts and ways to stay motivated (leagues, challenges, steaks, programs, etc). The watch app is decent but has some minor performance issues even on my series 7 watch. I wish the phone app would collect heart rate data from my watch during a workout but that doesn’t appear to be the case (I have to start the workout on the watch for that, and I can’t browse workouts on the watch). I’m not sure if it’s counting my reps and calories properly either. My rating would be 5 stars if I could track a live workout on both my watch and phone at the same time with heart rate and movement being collected properly by the watch.

I LOVE IT!. This is an amazing workout app that lets you create your own amazing customized workout! Also you can follow along with there daily workouts that are already made for you! I myself have been doing all three daily workouts everyday after school and I feel so much more healthy! My favorite feature about this app is that it lets you rest in between each workout and tells you when the next workout is starting and tells you when to stop! It also gives you achievements on skills you have mastered which to me, when I get an achievement I feel so much more motivated and healthy, mainly I feel quite proud of myself and I absolutely love this app!

Exercise Minutes for Apple Health?. The new mood tracker only uses “Exercise Minutes”; so, please send that as well as workout minutes. Why Apple does that, I don’t know. But, would help. The original Johnson & Johnson scientifically proven workout would also be a good free option. Also, might pay more but you hide all the workouts’ stages. Horrible UX design. Goading people like that into trying a 7 day demo that auto renews. Dark patterns! For shame, UX designers. I’d even pay $5 just to unlock that the original workout, or even more for some others others if I knew what they were. Please! J&J are retiring their app, so you could cash in. But, no way will I subscribe ever. Missing out on money through greed. Sad to see.

Cannot do anything w/o $$$. This is stupid that I cannot get anything other than the first 2 workouts and freestyle. When I discovered I couldn’t do virtually anything w/o paying, I decided to delete the app. Maybe I would reconsider if you changed it to unlocking a new exercise every week or so but no. Your telling me I have to do the same two workouts for about 70 days without change? What happened to having variety??? You need to fix this. It looks like you already have a lot of complaints on this, so please, change the amount of time till you get a free workout. I will be looking for a new app today Update: I shouldn’t have to go to the live sessions to get e premium workout. It would make more sense if we did the live workout, and whatever premium workout we did live would get unlocked, that way we can CHOOSE what type of workout we do

It’s pretty good. I was looking to try and work out for free, and Seven gives a lot of things for free like the first week, making a profile, full body, achievements, and the seven month challenge so that’s definitely a plus. I work out with my family and it’s bringing us closer together. The only problem is it only gives you one workout and it gets annoying when you do the same thing everyday. It’s also really annoying when it asks me to give it money every five seconds, and all the “advanced” excersises are still really easy. I have never felt sore after one of these workouts, but it’s a good way to get your energy out. Pluses and minuses, guys.

No fond…. Just not fond of this app. Wanted to really like it, but not happening. At 67 I work out way more than the average woman my age so am familiar with various workouts. That being said, I have ‘fragile’ knees and I’ve found no way to ‘customize’ the workouts unless I want to put together totally my own workout. I tend to compare other workout apps to the HASFit app which has real people as coaches, I can search hundreds of workouts (low impact, weights, body weight, HIIT) to find what suits me, and I’m being ‘coached’ the entire workout…for just about the same annual fee. I’m not one who likes to leave negative reviews, I’ve just been disappointed every time I open this app. If I’m missing something, please correct me.

Good. Wish they would bring back the purchasing individual workouts option. But the workouts are done well. It allows you to play music while working out, although sometimes I enjoy not having to pick music for a work out, so maybe they could think of adding some workout tracks for people to use without having to go through an extra step of picking out music. The announcers are still not quite the same as a real person, even with a different trainer options. I wonder if it would be better if they had a real person’s audio recorded with the usual chatting that trainers do during a workout.

Very very very helpful. This app is very helpful it helps me lose weight and I have been counting on the scale this app is very helpful to even know sometimes it can be mostly like a workout I love it because you can lose weight but every day I do three of them I do one in the mornings One in the evenings and close to 6 PM it’s very very very well I love it because when you count on the scale you can actually lose the weight and you can lose weight in seven minutes that’s not that long it’s not even 10 hopefully if you do you have a good good very very good like so very very good work out because I have a great one❤️

Amazing app that really pushes me. I tried the free version out and paid for the full version within the first week. I'm 43, m, 6'7", and 314lbs. This app pushes me as hard as any machine I've ever used. After two months of daily use I've gone from not being able to complete a single circuit of any workout to managing three a day. There are workouts I can do at the office and with the full version I've not seen the same workout twice unless I selected it. Using this app, walking daily, and logging my meals has helped me lose 17.8 pounds in the last eight weeks. Highly recommend this app.

Truly motivates. There’s something about this app that makes it so enjoyable to move. It’s only 7 minutes. BUT then you have leagues and this is where it gets fun. If you’re only one 7-minute workout away from being in the top five. Why not fit one in? If you like a wee bit of competitiveness that isn’t over the top, you’ll love the boost of motivation as I do. There’s 100’s of variations of workouts - even a couple that you can sneak in while in your work desk chair or in the back storage room that doesn’t involve the floor. Keep the improvements coming - I love that the developers really want to make this the best app it can be. Thank you.

Like it a lot!. This is a great workout app! The instructions are clear if you tap into them, and the variety is great. I’m someone who never intentionally did arms/chest/back exercise, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in these areas. Not only am I a lot stronger and less prone to back pain, but my back actually feels different to the touch with this layer of muscle everywhere instead of straight bones! I love yoga, but used to get frustrated with calmer yoga videos when I wanted more intensity. Now I get my short burst of strength work every day and I’m free to enjoy other activities without that pressure!

My opinion. I think that this app is impeccable! It knows exactly what type of workout that I need. My dad is strict about health and weight so instead of going out to our garage/gym and him training me this is a good way for him to be able to know that I’m working out enough and am not doing things in a wrong position. I also like that that the hearts motivate you to do it more. The last two things are that it shows you how do it like a preview and that you get to pick your own instructor, for example mine is Yogi and she encourages me that I can be just as fit as any other human being. These are the reasons that I like 7.

Love the 7 app! 💪. I’ve had 7 since it was way less developed, and it’s ALWAYS BEEN AWESOME! The workouts default to 30 second intervals with 10 second pauses between 12 different exercise movements, but everything is customizable! The workout app instructor, male or female; voice for instructor, about 7 fun choices; and the workout choices... FANTASTIC! Many to choose from and they truly have an effect on those areas of your body! From general overall workouts, to abs, to bikini body, to core, to belly burn, to legs, (and more) there are choices that I’m sure would appeal to everyone. And because the exercise time is flexible, you can start at the default 30 seconds or change to a shorter time per movement, increasing as you become stronger. Or start at longer intervals 💪. The variety of workouts allows you to focus on different areas of your body throughout the week. If used consistently, you’ll feel/see a difference in your form and strength. Good luck! Stay healthy!

Great way to start getting active!. My problem with getting active is time and excuse. I started this app with the monthly subscription on basic, after my first 7 minuet workout I literally laid there on the ground for about 10 minutes. I couldn’t believe that I was that tired. That being said, it may only be 7 minutes, but it’s a good intense workout for your capabilities. You can even double the workouts if you want more. The app is simple easy to navigate and easy to understand. The fact that it’s synced up with HealthKit is even better. I can do a workout and it shows up on my Health app. If you just want something to kick start a live change, I suggest this.

Ongoing utility and benefit even without purchases. For a free app, lots of utility. Don’t need to do in app purchases to have access to 1-2 free 7 min workouts a day. Graphics not detailed but you can easily tell what they’re asking of you. Gives an estimate of calories burned. Can customize instructor voices and other sound settings, save favorite workouts, track usage over time. I’m a pretty fit person looking to integrate quick daily workouts into my busy lifestyle, and this really does the trick. Gets my heart rate up some, provides just enough burn to make me feel like I’m toning, but it doesn’t make me sweat too much for a lunch hour option.

Great! But miss some old features. [Edit: I also would like if there was a feature where u could tell the app you are taking a day off and your # of days stays the same but you don't lose any hearts. I had a horrible sunburn the other week that kept me from working out and I lost my entire streak.] I love this app, but I really miss when you could purchase individual workouts like you used to be able to! I don't need all the workouts, and being a teen without currently having my own source of income, I can't afford the premium upgrade. Please bring this feature back, I don't know why it's gone 😢

Amazing app so far. Really good and short workouts, I need to pause it though between setting up my position and such but other than that it’s really well made for people trying to lose weight. Although I can’t use it at the moment because the same night I did my very first session on here, I took a shower to not stink up my bed and I dislocated my knee completely and can’t walk on it for long periods of time. But when I’m able to, I’ll get back on the app and start working out mid day instead of 11 pm at night ;-;. That was my mistake since my I’m 300 lbs and the human body is more vulnerable to accidents at night time.

Amazing App. Countless gyms and thousands of dollars later, I settled on working out in the comfort of my home with 7 minutes. My routine consists of 3 circuits with a one minute break between each. I’m about 2 weeks in and find the workouts to be amazing in that I can customize what I want to do for the day. It’s also easy to add in resistance with free weights to almost any exercise for more challenge. One thing that helps is committing to a certain number of reps for each exercise, i.e. 10 pushups, etc. within 30 seconds and increasing as your body allows. Overall, I’m extremely pleased and look forward to the 7 month challenge! 💪🏾

Perfect. This game is simply amazing. I’ve been looking for a good app to lose weight with, and this fits the description perfectly. If you aren’t looking to lose weight, there are other work-out options. It is the first exercise game I wake up and look forward to. I also love the small breaks in between each work-out. It is enough to get a drink of water and be ready to go. I love this app. It is also a great distraction from depression or anxiety. I recently lost my grandfather and this distracts me when I get to lost in thought about it. Thank you to the creators of seven, it is truly perfect.

App is okay free, but subscription is awesome!. Look, this app is simple, the free version is not the best, however the subscription is awesome. The app has a bunch of workouts for different reasons. And you can pick whatever you want. It’s great, and it’s not too hard, because it gives you workouts to do at home. You don’t need equipment. It is a great app and I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to get healthier or more in shape. Whatever the reason is, the app is worth it. I mean at least the subscription is. And you have seven days for free! So if you don’t like it, you can just cancel the subscription.

Bare-bones but I like that. Seven is great for lots of basic body weight (no equipment necessary) exercises that are good for building strength and muscle tone.I primarily do strength workouts, as I am trying to maintain good core strength for spine support. There are some Pilates exercises that are really not very good for your back so if you have back issues, approach with caution, and never work to pain. And if you have trouble spots, you can take out exercises that you don't want to/can't do. But overall, it's short, sweet, and keeps you coming back every time. It's true that you can do almost any exercise for a minute so Seven keeps pushing you.

Great for beginner. Edit: it is not free. Which is a total bummer because I did not see that it was going to cost after a week. It’s a reasonable $5 a month if you pay up front, otherwise $10 a month. It might be great for advanced too, but as a beginner I can only speak to that. These are quick, to the point workouts that get your blood pumpin and your body movin! And in only 7 minutes which is perfect for me cause I’m not sure I could make it longer! My body is feelin it on day two so I know these workouts are doing somethin! I appreciate that it’s free and tells me what to do and counts for me—like having a personal trainer!

TOTAL SCAM. I downloaded a couple of workout apps to see which ones would work for me. I actually never even ended up using this app, yet I get charged $63 for it after a week. I deleted the app immediately and canceled my subscription. However, Apple told me that I cannot get a refund. This app is just a low nasty way for the developers to scam innocent people. Completely disgusted and upset that such a dishonest tactics would be used and that this app is even still available in the App Store. If they were really trying to be honest, at the very least the free trial would turn into a $10 monthly subscription instead of the yearly one where they can hit you with one big charge before you figure them out. Really really upset that people are this low, so hope this review will serve as a warning to others NOT to download this app. There are plenty of truly free excel use apps which really work. This is not one of them.

Continually Asks To Be Updated. This app continually shows it needs to be updated. You can update it, then check to see if any of the apps on your device, iPhone or iPad, need updating and you will find this app needs updating again. Update it, check to see if it needs to be updated and you will see it needs to be updated again. And on and on. The developer is blaming this problem on Apple and that may be the case but this is not just an issue of waiting for Apple to update an app. The app history says this app was updated from version 7.0.7 to 7.1 a week ago, then updated again to version 7.1.1 six days ago. But the app still shows as 7.0.7. It has not been updated to either of those versions. Apps that need updating don’t continually update again and again to the same version. They update when a new version is approved by Apple and the update is ready.

Amazing fitness app - GET IT!!. I used to have the Nike Training Club app for fitness on my phone, and it was ok, but I never really “got into the groove” of the app. A couple months after deleting it, I found this one, and it is perfect, All of the workouts are about seven minutes (hence the name of the app) and they’re great. It doesn’t hold that much back for the free version, which is the one I have, which is great! You can choose which type you want and where you want to target it, or you can do one that is set up for whatever goals you have. This app is for anyone who wants a fitness app that actually works.

Valuable app but more expensive than competitors. I found this to be a very good app that will help you get more fit and keeps you motivated, especially if you have limited time for your morning exercise. It’s very easy to use. That said, the price point is much higher than the price for comparable apps like the J&J 7-minute workout (free) and 7-minute workout challenge ($4). For me, it wasn’t worth the $40/year, since I have other paid fitness subscriptions for longer workouts. But if you’re someone who just wants to do a very quick workout 3-5x/week, I think this app could be a good choice.

Not worth it unless you pay. I stuck with this app for 60+ days. The first month was great when there was a new random workout to try every day. But the latest update took that option away. Then the only variety that was left was going through the different trainers to do their workouts, but they were only available once and you can’t get them again. So there I was, stuck with one series until I did 60 days worth of the 7 month challenge (which resets to the beginning if you miss 3 workouts a month, unless you pay to undo a missed day, of course) waiting for the new unlocked workout... and then it turns out I don’t even get to choose what it is. It’s given to you at random. At this point, it’s not worth sticking to this app. I could get a better variety of short workouts for free with the Nike Training app.

🫶🫶🫶IN LOVE WITH THIS APP. I have tried many different apps in the past sorta like this one but I’m pretty sure this is the one, at least for me it is my motivation for myself is to at least do 7 minute workout on the app everyday and sometimes more if I’m feeling like it. For me this app I feel is more easy to keep myself motivated and once I finish I feel great. Also I love doing the live classes when I remember them because I kinda feels cool imagining that there are other people that are doing that same thing… Yea I just really like the whole concept of this app so y’a 😊

Without exaggeration, life-changing. My spouse and I weren’t in good shape. Both former athletes but 2 kids, 2 jobs and turning 40 caught up to us. We started doing the 7 min full body workout in the evening after the kids went to bed, while watching tv. It was hard to do but also hard to make excuses to NOT do it. I mean, we HAD 7 minutes! So we did it. 5+ nights a week. The results were shocking. Our cardio health is amazing. Now we don’t run after the kids, we run with them. I’ve got glorious arm definition and I can lift couches. We both look great - toned and fit. Amazing what 7 minutes can do. Try this app and don’t give up if it’s hard. I did the push ups on my knees for months.

Mostly enjoy the app. I really do enjoy 7, the variety of workouts and the ability to customize and work areas specifically or in general. What I really don’t like is the mandatory 7 month challenge and losing hearts if I opt out of workouts every single day. I get that it’s a motivator for some people but I’m far enough in my exercise journey that I don’t need to work out EVERY day. I love the app because it makes it easy for me to stay on track and get my workouts in but why does the 7 month challenge HAVE to be mandatory???? Couldn’t you make it optional so people like me don’t get dinged because we choosing to take a rest day or two every week? Other than that I enjoy the app.

Really good structure. Great ability to vary and do some personalization of the routine, if you pay. Please consider either: 1. including more free features for those of us who can’t afford the full cost right now- this would make you excellent program more accessible. Or, 2. why not allow an audible-type subscription like a 30-day “rental” of the library to access 2 or three individual workouts: at the end of the period, if good progress is being made towards the set goal, one can purchase another credit to gain more customization/additional workouts?

Motivating and habit building. I’ve been using this app since 2018 and no plans to quit. By far my favorite workout app. I do subscribe, but I find the cost reasonable compared to even the cheapest gym membership. The mix of workouts keeps me interested, all the different challenges are motivating, and because of Seven I find some way to move every day. The development team is easy to contact and has gotten back to me and even made changes based on my and other user suggestions. Best of all, once I started making friends on the app I quickly joined an international community that lifts one another up and cheers everyone on.

Great! Sustainable AND Effective!. Have been working out with Seven for almost 3 years. It enables me to maintain an active lifestyle (soccer, skiing, etc.) without costing me hundreds of dollars or hundreds of hours. No equipment necessary so I work out in hotel rooms, while camping out, visiting relatives, anywhere… This flexibility has enabled me to be consistent with over 700 consecutive daily workouts while maintaining a solid baseline level of fitness. I can run a competitive soccer match or ski for 6 hours without worrying that I’ll not be able to make it. Love the freestyle work out which creates a workout from over 160 exercises available based on my criteria: Level (easy, medium, hard); Type (cardio, strength, flexibility); Focus(upper, lower, core).

Thank you. Thank you for making this game wow base workout thing because I only work out for seven minutes a day and I already feel pumped up I feel like I lost weight and calories are burned a lot and I just want to thank you for making this workout thing and please update it and maybe take away you have to pay for it to do all that extra stuff maybe take that away because most people don’t like wasting a lot of money and I just think that that’s my little complaint but that’s it thank you for making the work out

Good design. So I just got this app and right off the bat I liked it. There wasn’t to many links and other places to go it helped you get right to the point. Also it showed you what to do while you were doing your work out and gave you breaks in between. This is not like some apps where you need subscribe give them 10 bucks a month then you can use the app it gives you a work out and other options for where you want it to effect. I love how you could make your own tailored work out because I play a lot of sports so I need to be fit and this similar to what we do in a practice so now I can do it at home. Over all this is a great app
