Happy to have the GRAB app. I’m tourist here in Bangkok. Sometimes it’s get difficult to go to any restaurant or food shop to grab my desired food due to rain or tiredness. In this situation I’ve asked to a hotel receptionist what I can do. He suggested me to install the “Grab”app and my fooding problem will be gone within a second! Truly it just work like a lifesaver for me and my family! Now I’m getting my selected food at my hotel room without any efforts! It’s really awesome! Thank you!

Canceled booking. The driver we booked this morning didn’t cooperate eith us, our pin didn’t work on us this morning I texted him and said the exact place where we at we were on the other side of the road and told him to make a u turn but what he answered me was the u turn was far. It took us only 3 blocks to make a u turn on that place, but he wasn’t cooperative even if we asked him to just get on our place he was just parked where he was and not moving. We were aldo in a hurry because we were supposed to pick up my nephew from school. As he wasn’t moving and doesn’t want to cooperate and make a u turn, I cancelled the booking, I even told him I will cancel it. Now grab wanted to penalize me for canceling and not paying the 50 pesos, it wasn’t for the money but for the principle.

Grab needs universal 21st century technology. I used to be able to load GrabPay from my U.S.-acquired credit cards and to make all my purchases. Now Grab has decided to require an OTP on my credit cards, which is not used by any other business in the Philippines. I understand the need for security, but OTP on a credit card is an unwarranted major hassle. I have had to start buying my food from places that have normal credit systems. I supported Grab for the last 5-yrs., but at this rate of change, I may end my customer service. I do not go around carrying cash everywhere. It’s not safe.

UNSAFE DRIVERS. My girlfriend was harassed by a driver before dropping her off at home. Even after dropping her off she was receiving phone calls from him making her uncomfortable. I called customer support to report the driver. They said they would have to call the driver to ask the situation of what happened. I told them no after I explained he could be crazy and now he knows where she lives. If something bad were to happen with his job he could come back to her house knowing exactly who called to report him. Then they explained that’s the only way they could do it. So in the end I didn’t file a report and he’s still out driving Grab customers. Good job team👍🏼

An utter disgrace. I spent $$$$ on this app every day and they charged me with a pending charge (through thousands of transactions never had an issue), and then locked the app saying I needed to pay. When I shared with support, they said “we’ve not been paid.” Okay, fine. I said release the charge and I’ll pay again. They locked my account and removed my ability to engage with support. This is after 2 hours with support with them asking me what I purchased and being very condescending. Look, I’m chill, and this was the most egregious, terrible experience ever. They are also a heartless, terrible company that harms the environment. You cannot add orders from multiple stops so you’ll need two drivers to pick up things next door to each other. I deleted the app, they are insane and would never last in the US market.

Not so pad. In the beginning, I was happy when I found out about the application. I thought it was like Uber or similar, but the application is good just It has a few major defects and must be fixed, such as locating the customer’s location always wrong. Also, the driver does not understand the customer’s explanation . The most important problem is that they take the value of the trip twice, and when replacing the car request with a motor pic request For faster delivery, there is a difference in the price that is not refundable. In the end, the application is not bad, but do not save the credit card in the application. pay cash better and accept my greetings

Terrible Customer Service. The app works fine when it works but building a ride share app is not hard. When things aren’t working, it takes 20-30 interactions with customer service AT A MINIMUM to get this fixed. The first order team has the technological knowledge of my grandmother (they know what an app and email is but not much more) and getting to somebody knowledgeable is near impossible. Also, when I call in I don’t want to hear “fill out an online form” to then get into email correspondence and then get told “call us” which has literally happened on every interaction with customer service for me. It’s disappointing because I joined hearing the customer service is better but frankly Go-Jek is cheaper and in Singapore, taxi drivers are great from a service perspective and readily available.

At whim cancellation. I’m anew subscriber to Grab and my experience so far with 3 successful rides were excellent. There were however 3 other instances that while I wait for promised pickups, the trip was canceled and ask to choose another ride. The next ride was also canceled and my total standby period was more than 30 minutes in spite that the map shows he is no more than 4 minutes away. Very frustrating but I heard from another Grab driver it’s the Philippines and drivers are”independent operators subject to minimum control by Grab management! In any case these negative experience puts Grab as a unreliable Company/reputation. Paul Bautista

2022, more services, but the basics are still lacking. 2022, still the same. The calling feature rarely works. With both parties connected but neither can hear each other. It could take several tries to have a successful call. This happens even on a 100mbps cellular connection. The app has more features like shopping which can be useful. But come on, get the voip call feature working correctly. It takes 3 or more tries to get it to work. This frustrates both riders and drivers. 2021: the app has a call feature so drivers and riders can call for free. But the calling feature has like 20 seconds lag, making it fairly useless unless the stars aligned. I’m guessing Grab doesn’t put much focus on their servers

Decent, needs work. Gets the job done but needs a ton of improvement when compared to Uber or Lyft. GPS routing frequently off, timing estimates also frequently way off. Grab drivers are able to accept your ride while they still have to complete a ride. Wouldn’t be an issue if they only had a couple minutes on the previous ride, but sometimes 10+ min to drop off their current ride and they still need to come to your location. Sometimes the drivers will not accept your ride because they will not get paid enough for the distance to drive you, so you’re left waiting for a long time even though there’s plenty of drivers near you.

It would be better to be able to rate the driver. I like grab and using that for most of the time . The only thing that can be improved is that when I get my food I want to give 5 star to the driver but if I do not rate in that time I can not do that any more it would be better that when there is a food feedback before that check the driver is rated or not . Maybe user forgot to rate the driver . I know its not a bug deal but I want to make the drivers happy with my giving starts but most of the time when I got the food if I don't rate in that time I can not be able to rate them anymore

Good ride share app unfortunately ….. Trying to get a Grab car is sometimes very difficult. When I tried to hail a Garb car from Manila airport, none were available. Waited in line for over an hour for a white taxis at a fixed price of 500. Going back to the airport, I had to request 4 times before getting one unfortunately I already found a white cab at a fixed price of 500. I had to cancel the Grab car because I was already on a taxi when Grab driver accepted me. I saw other Grab cars were available but they weren’t interested in taking the fare. I can not blame the Grab drivers for not taking the fare. It was about 60 peso below the fixed fare that taxi is charging. My suggestion to Grab Corp is customer should be able to fill in a price that we are willing to pay or pay at the fixed price that taxi are charging so there is an incentive to pick up the fare. That way customers get picked up more frequently because Grab drivers are paid the same as fixed price white taxi.

You are useless. To the dearest company of Grab, please forgive me for what I am about to comment upon this app as it might hurt your boo boos to the extreme. When the new pandemic happened, I haven’t been using Grab since March till now. I thought of using it for when the time comes to reuse the application again, but your rotten crusty skin like beings have to deduct my Grabpoints solely because I haven’t been using my Grab app at all??!!? This is unfair for us Grab users! I would love to save up my points for something later in the coming months and in hopes that nothing can go wrong, but you exist you greedy gold digging pigs. Restore back my points or there will be consequences in the future. May God bless you and I hope you never rise from the ashes of your grave.

Great app, lackluster customer service. My grabpay has been blocked due to a chargeback request since December 21st 2020. In the support email it states that it may take up to 90 business days from request date to reach a conclusion but it’s been 207 days without any service reply. Besides this, I’d say the ride and meal services are actually pretty decent, reliable, and convenient. I’ve been a Platinum member for several years and Grab used to be my go-to service app. Their prices don't vary much from in-store rates and I’ve never had any trouble getting a ride except during early hours of the morning (which is totally understandable).

Double charging. 1. Difficult to contact Grab when there is an issue. Clicking "Contact Support" in the app brings the user to a page where there is no contact option. 2. Beware - I loaded up enough GrabPay credit to at least cover the quoted price to the airport to leave the country, but was charged more because of an airport fee (really, a trip to the airport and Grab can’t recognize to include that in the cost quote?) so the whole transaction failed and my Grab pay has been locked out for 3 or 4 weeks now. Even though I only owe $0.35 for the extra fee, their system will only allow me to pay the full fare to the airport again. Even when I try to pay the full fare again, their system fails. I’ve been dealing with a Grab support case for weeks but they can’t resolve it - issue is ongoing.

Thankful. I’m so thankful for the Grab app. It’s my only mode of transportation, and it’s been working so well. I have a suggestion for an added feature based on a problem I’ve been experiencing. I would love to have the ability to block certain drivers from being able to see and accept my request for a ride. I have no intention to block multiple drivers, just whenever I have a less than perfect experience, no. I want to be able to block a few drivers who hang out in my area, that I’ve repeatedly had bad experiences with (uncomfortable seating, too small, jerky driving, angry driving). Currently, I use the feature of canceling and rebooking, but there’s an element of shame in that for me, having to see that driver sitting right outside my building as I get into my other ride. Thank you for providing a needed service! Whether this requested feature is added or not, I’ll keep using Grab to get around!

They hung up on me and put me on hold indefinitely. I have enjoyed there app on several occasions but they really upset me when i needed to talk to someone. When i finally reached someone they said file it on help center. I told them i did that, and he said thank you for calling grab have a nice day@“, and hung up as i was saying i still need help. I called back, they put me on hold for two hours. Mind i had to go through the emergency grab department because the automated system did not recognize the phone or pin i am using with the account. As i am looking that it has been two hours since they put me on hold, i decided to write a review while i wait, or wait, the call just got hung up on….

Inept customer service. I echo the statements of others that customer service is really bad. They’re not rude or anything, just bad at what they do. Most recently, I submitted a comment through the app and received an email for follow up. The representative emailing me said to reply to the message to resolve my issue. When I did, I got an automatic reply stating that the email did not work for issues and that I had to use the app The problem is, when I use the app, I can only initiate the complaint but I cannot give any specific feedback. Thus there is no way to provide responses for follow up with the issue because there is no way to respond via email It creates a situation where it’s impossible to get any resolution

Unable to add a second destination. After switching to an IPhone 11 I cannot add a second destination. Due to some glitch the app lacks the +sign that should be located next to the first destination that when clicked opens the field to add a second one. Which means that when I reach the first destination the trip is marked as finished. Then I have to rebook another trip and pay again for the base fair. I normally just pay cash to the driver off the App to take me to the second location which makes feel unsafe since there’s no record of the ride. I could get off the car and request a second driver through the app but due to the heavy Manila traffic it takes a long time until another available driver can be found.

Horrible update forces users to select unfamiliar pickup locations. I have used Grab for years, but a recent update really screwed up the app experience (at least in Vietnam). It used to be intuitive to enter a specific pickup address. Now the app wants the user to pick from a menu of nearby pickup points. In unfamiliar neighborhoods, these are often places and addresses I don’t recognize. There is a search icon, and I can search for a specific address there, but I can’t get the address to “stick.” Today I tried that, and the app ended up finding me a ride for a frequently used pickup point 500 meters away. As I was holding a 12 kg baby, I had to cancel. This is a step backwards for every category of user, but for foreigners and tourists, it is an infuriating change. It makes me wonder if Grab is responding to some harebrained government mandate. Even so, there must be a better way.

Bad App and Bad Service. Years ago Uber and Grab colluded to leave a monopoly. The result has been unsurprising: poor service and rising prices. In addition, Grab promises that if the ride takes more than 10 minutes to arrive then a promo will be given. I have yet to receive said promo yet it routinely takes more than 10 minutes for my ride to arrive. Last night it took 30 minutes. No promo. Customer service when having a problem with a ride or a charge is nonexistent. The app is riddled with advertisements of promos. You have to manually add and remove them one by one as they tell you that they’re not applicable for the ride being hailed. Suggestion to the devs: why if you know the origin and destination why not just filter the promos for the user to show only the promos that are eligible? That would be too good of a design I suppose. Lastly, somehow Grab app has access to Photos without the corresponding setting in iOS Settings. It doesn’t even appear as an option with a toggle switch under Privacy settings yet the app can access and upload photos from the camera roll. This needs to be reviewed by Apple, but I doubt anyone there will end up reading this review.

Customer service try’s to steal credit card info…. The app suddenly stopped accepting my payment method - I contacted my bank directly and they said it was on grabs end. When I brought that to their attention of customer service they demanded the only way I can move forward is to send a photo of my card, covering only a couple digits. So somehow I was accused of fraud by them for ordering food on my own card…Like what? Completely ridiculous process to make me send a photo of my credit card via email . My bank said absolutely not to do that. So I’m essentially stuck in limbo as they won’t allow me to enter any payment method, despite me having every major card carrier, unless I send them photos of my cards (which I did btw, covering all except the last 4 but they wouldn’t accept unless I revealed more numbers. ) Completely sketchy standard operating procedure. Reaching out to customer support and being accused of fraud is lovely - I won’t use this service anymore. Be careful for real, they are trying to get your card information in a photo. That’s soooo sketchy and not normal operating procedures for major providers. If you get your identity stolen, blame Grab

Reliable. When we first got the app on Sep 2021 after moving to KL, it was challenging. We had back to back incorrect deliveries and it was frustrating. However, for the past year, Grab has been quite reliable for me and my family. Delivery folks also have been great about calling/notifying us of the delivery, or sending picture message of the drop off. Little things like these are appreciated. Thanks Grab team! Keep it up.

Bad user experience. 1 case - Scheduled a ride in advanced, when time is up, it wasn’t clear where was the driver, no phone to contact, no driver on the map Eventually the driver didn’t come, the ride was to the airport and we had to cancel it. Not transparent at all. 2 case - got into the taxi and our plans had been panned, we decided to go to another place, entered the address, the address wasn’t shown on the map, after I realized that the address was 70 km from me. It means that there were same addresses in different places, but grab didn’t help me to understand which is which. The option to change address again wasn’t available. What to do in that moment ??? I had to call to support.

Krabi Taxi. Does this app works on Krabi from/to airport? Got pick up but the driver ask to cancel and I paid cash after being in the car. From hotel to airport got stop at the airport entrance and the police seem aggravated with my driver because he was using the app to bring people to the airport. The police man took and retain the license of my driver and I am sure he is greeting a ticket afterward. I use this app all over Thailand and in Krabi is the first I have encountered issues. The app is great keep up the great work!

Terrible booking charges. Grab booking is the most terrible and most horrid app I use just to book a car. The amount of time wasted looking for a car is the stupidest thing I have experience. Why do I have to wait until the time for peak period for someone to take my booking. I have to keep waiting till the rate goes higher then a driver pick up, that is the most ridiculous and greedy thing I have experience with this system. I would like to point out that waiting 15-20 minutes for a grab is quite unreasonable as I understand the driver also have to make a living but, I have an designated appointment! Again I would like to point out how grab takes advantage of the customer as it takes away there time for waiting for booking and money as it make you wait to a point where it reaches peak period.

Needs improvement. I’ve been traveling around Asia for a couple of months now and have been using grab the whole time. The app is great and makes travel much easier, but I do have a problem with it. Every time a user cancels a ride, it decreases some kind of score the user has. This is a problem, because there have been multiple times that I have had a driver bail on me and tell me that I have to cancel the booking in order to get another ride. After canceling maybe 4 or 5 rides over the course of a couple months, it is now much harder for me to book a grab compared to other users. I have had to retry booking multiple times, sometimes to no avail, when others I’m with were able to get a grab immediately. As a solo female traveler, this puts me at risk of getting stuck somewhere and possibly putting me in danger if I’m traveling at night and need to get away from a place. There should be some way that the user can cancel a booking without getting penalized, especially if the grab driver forces you to cancel before you can get another ride. Or at the very least, the user’s score should be known to them and there should be a way to repair the score if it goes down. I wish the app were more user friendly in this way.

Updating Credit Card. Because of CoVid, I haven’t used Grab or the app for over two years. Since we’ll be traveling to Thailand soon, I wanted to update the credit card in the system. I get an server error message. The “help” function has no information about how to correct this. Update: Went to the Grab website to find the answer since I don’t have Facebook and since the app didn’t have the answer. The answer is that I was not in a country served by Grad (I’m in the US), so I can’t update the credit card. Will wait and update it waiting for luggage in BKK. Rating updated to five stars.

Grab takes a long time to match with drivers. Each time I have used Grab to get a ride, it has taken 1 hour. Even when I have tried outside of peak hours. The only time I was matched within 10 mins, I received a very comfortable ride. There’s no indication of how long it will take but unfortunately there is no Uber or Lyft in Malaysia, so you’re forced to use Grab. Also Grab does not allow you to schedule rides ahead of time. I strongly recommend booking a taxi to travel to events where it’s important you arrive on time, such as flights. I’m very surprised that Grab does not allow scheduled rides - it’s been available on other ride hailing Apps for several years now.

This app is low key trash. I’ve used Grab now in two countries in SE Asia. In concept it’s great, a ridesharing app for the region. Reality is that it doesn’t have even close to the same reliability as Uber/Lyft in the US. The difficult part is that people rely on these apps to get them from point a to point especially in parts of the world that are unfamiliar. Grab will not be your friend here. There is NO driver availability even in large metro parts of SE Asia. They have a huge driver supply problem that they haven’t seemed to figure out how to fix. Don’t use this app expecting to actually get a ride when you need it, whenever you travel figure out a backup plan. They haven’t figured out the fundamentals of driver supply and demand yet they push new features that no one wants or needs. I recommend the Grab product and tech teams start focusing on their basic value to users

Unusable app. As a visitor from the United States this app was promoted to me as a wonderful ride hailing service. However, it has proven to be a complete nightmare to use. I’m probably over 100 separate attempts I have never been able to hail a single ride. It is almost as if my account does not register on the queue of available riders, and neither does my partner’s. Furthermore, there is no ability to contact anyone for support. Local users seem confused why we have had so many issues, but using a Malaysian SIM card has given us no benefit. Furthermore, I am unable to link any banking information or even add a second credit card. In short, this app is useless to new users.

Long time, loyal user, recently uninstalled. I’ve been using Grab for 4+ years and have passed a lot of money through their ecosystem, however I’ve decided on principle that I can’t support this company any longer as their customer service is absolutely terrible. As of late I’ve had a few orders in a row that were wrong, whether they were the restaurant or the drivers fault depends on the different orders, however after writing detailed explanations including photos, Grab support didn’t even bother getting back to me at all, let alone compensating me for my lost money and time. On top of what I’ve heard from the drivers (here in Southeast Asia a few years ago there was competition between Uber and Grab, and Uber took much better care of the drivers). Clearly this company does not have the customers nor the employees best interest in mind, they’re just out to take your money and get away with compensating you as little as possible. Look elsewhere. There’s lots of competitors who are hungry to satisfy their customers should there be any issues.

No more being ripped off by taxis. Google maps has been a game changer when taking a taxi. You can follow the route now and see where they are going or not going. Mostly my experience has been that taxi drivers are honest and good. They do their best to take the quickest route. However twice on this trip I have watched Google maps as they drive and even showed one of my drivers the map and where to turn. He refused and took us the long route. I felt ripped off and the heard about Grab. I absolutely love that the price is preset and you can see the route along with the driver. No possibility for cheating or ripping off ignorant tourist. I will only be using Grab from now on.

Expat Using Grab. As an expat living/traveling various places in the Philippines, Grab has become quite an indispensable asset. The times I have needed to contact support, the communication and interaction was pleasant and timely with 100% satisfaction and favorable outcomes between both Grab food and Grab transportation. The only constructive criticism I have for Grab and the app itself is I believe they should look closer into providing broader financial support and opportunities for foreign citizens who use foreign banks and/or debit/credit cards. At one point two years ago, I was able to use my American (USAA) bank debit card and add it as an automatic payment method, now for some reason the app(?) or Grab (?) no longer supports as a minimum my bank card in which as mentioned was used previously. Regardless, I’m still able to use cash which is a little less convenient for me personally, but works just fine for purposes of obtaining services. Thanks Grab!

Payment issues. Booking rides was a terrible issue. When I finally got one, I received a message the next day stating that I needed to resolve a payment issue with my one and only ride that I was able to get. They switched the payment to “Cash” even though I Grab had verified my credit cards and the default payment option was to my CC. I was told by the help centre to manually deposit cash into their bank account at UOB since the app didn’t allow me to “top up” due to them restricting all cashless options to my account. When I deposited the money, I followed up with help center to resolve the payment issue and I received no further assistance on the matter. If you do not have a local number and card, beware!!!

Impossible to Add Credit Card. We’ll, maybe the service works great, but I just downloaded the app and discovered that it is impossible to add a credit card - so the app is unusable. When you tap the “+” or the field on the payment screen where you enter a credit card number, the app immediately returns an error saying “Sorry, our server reported an error (bad input). Try again later.” I am not sure what “bad input” the error message is referring to because you can’t actually enter anything at all. My phone is connected to my home WiFi with an excellent connection. I have also tried connected to my mobile network with cellular data on and WiFi off, and that also does not work. I guess I will have to look for an alternate ride share service.

Gotten much worse.. Two changes Grab has made recently took them from 4 stars to 1. First they allow drivers to click that they have arrived at a location well before they are actually there. This with the new 3 minute rule until you are penalized for a driver waiting is absurd. I have actually had the app charge me for a driver waiting before he even arrived at my location. The next issue is they have removed the ability to contact customer service live. All you can do now is Email them and hope they get back to you in 24 hours. That’s too long to wait to resolve a food delivery issue. It’s as if Grab has decided they are going to lower their service standards and since they know they will get complaints they solved for it by plugging their ears.

Awful app. Poorly executed app. We downloaded it since it’s the major transportation app used in Vietnam. App is slow. When we order a new ride, the initial pick up location is almost always the last location we got dropped off from last transaction. Traveling in Vietnam requires walking from location to location so just because we got dropped off somewhere previously doesn’t mean the new pick up location is the same. The new pick up spot was designated as “your location,” but there is always a confusion and the drivers always arrive at the last drop off location instead of the actual location . My husband couldn’t use the app after 3 transactions because the app flagged him as fraud because we are traveling . It didn’t do it for me. The drivers cancel on you quite often.

Violates Apple’s policies?. I recently reinstalled the app on my iPhone, choosing the Sign In with Apple option this time for better privacy. At first it worked fine, but after I gave the app my phone number it forced me to use Sign in with Facebook because I had previously used it to sign in, allegedly for “security”. This is silly. I don’t want to use Sign in with Facebook. I hate Facebook and want nothing to do with them. I want to use Sign In with Apple, but Grab won’t let me. Also, practically speaking, what is a user supposed to do if they’ve deleted their Facebook account? Can they never use Grab again until they’ve changed their phone number? In short, this seems like either a.) a bug that is resulting in poor UI/UX, or b.) a sneaky attempt to force users to allow Sign In with Facebook, and all the tracking and data harvesting that this entails. Per Apple’s policies, any app that offers Sign in with Facebook HAS TO offer Sign In with Apple, so this seems like a clear violation of the official requirements for iOS developers. Maybe just a bug? If so, fix it please. If not, shame on you. I am reporting this to Apple.

Used to love grab. Now, not so sure.. 2021 and before Grab was an amazing app!! Ever since the company got bought out. It’s very hard to get a ride, or delivery If it’s a cloudy day, none of the drivers “have change”… aka.. tipping themselves since they now don’t get as much $ as they used to. Also, the delivery fees are higher, the service fees for restaurants that grab is charging the establishments is close to if not more than 30%. Thankfully other driving apps & drivers in Vietnam are stepping up, and many of us have started to use them instead because Grab has become unreliable. You used to know 100% you could get a ride if went to the movies and got out at 10 PM… now.. I don’t think it’s worth the drivers time, because there’s no one to accept ride and if they do- they cancel a lot now. Sad, Grab was such an amazing reliable app now. And if it’s raining? Forget about even trying to get a taxi car!

Simple things don’t work and they don’t care. Cant use US credit cards because their payment processor is apparently the only one in Thailand incapable of communicating with US banks. App doesn’t actually sort by distance or rating, they just show you whatever results they want in whatever order they want. Search doesn’t return relevant results. Search for pizza and the first 5 results are sushi and thai restaurants. Maybe you’ll get lucky and 3 relevant restaurants appear in the first 20 or 30 returned. Searching and sorting are useless. Such a waste of time. Want to let them know of issues such as these which will lead to you not using their service? Good luck. Nowhere in the app to provide more than 15 or so words worth of feedback. The form actually just cuts you off. How about you call them and sit on hold for 10 or 15 minutes to speak to somebody and let them know that way? Good luck. Your call will be dropped if you select any options in their call routing system / IVR that they don't want to deal with (e.g. other issue).

Bad app and customer service. I downloaded the Grab app to use on my trip to the Southeast Asia. To avoid the hassle of exchanging currency, I registered the app with my U.S. bank issued credit card. It worked well initially while I was in Malaysia, Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia. However, when I arrived at Yogyakarta, Indonesia international airport, the app stopped working. It would not even make an effort to authorize my credit card for the ride from the airport to the hotel in the city. Luckily, I had enough local currency with me at the time to cover the ride. I contact the Grab after I arrived at the hotel. A Grab representative later emailed me and asked for a bunch of supporting documents from my bank. She told me it is for my protection. I replied to her that Grab already know my identity since I have many recent rides using the app and there was no issue with my bank authorize the transactions. However, she refused to do anything on her side to resolve the issue. I have since decided to remove the Grab app from my phone and use other apps to order the rides in the Southeast Asia countries. I want to warn other people to always bring enough local currency and not solely rely on this app.

Can improve but getting so much better. Giving a 5 star rating because while Grab can 100% improve their service (contacting customer service, getting responsible and accountable responses etc) they have grown leaps and bounds since the start of this pandemic. Growing the listing of available restaurants, improved comms between drivers and customers… so much better. And what a grace it is to be able to order something to break up the monotony of these endless MCOs… sure things can be better. But I appreciate Grab’s work in giving folks food options during this never ending nightmare and supporting local businesses and Grab drivers. Kudos. Keep It up.

The app is incompetent. This app is not user friendly. Unfortunately there’s no Uber service otherwise I would use them instead. There’s no way for a user to contact a support team via phone call or message. The system to report an issue is long and not helpful. There should be a chat tab or number you can call for assistance. My main issue is when using my card to pay for services they charge you even if grab has not completed the service. I picked a two stop grab ride and my driver only took me to one after saying he completed the ride, which was a lie. Grab should have a system in place where the rider also confirms the driver has took you to both stops before saying the ride is complete. But this app doesn’t seem to help or service the rider who is actually paying for the service. It only benefits the drivers since they can directly contact grab via a phone number and choose when the ride is completed. I wish there was another ride app I could use because I would. But I’ll stick to taxis and motorbikes from the main road from now on.

Worst Customer Experience. I have been on chat with Grab and I keep getting bounced from one rep to another. Nobody seems to know what to do to process my order. The app is the worst to even get to chat with someone and then when I do get to someone, this is the response I get before I can even respond: I am sorry, looks like I am not getting any response from you for this chat. Allow me to end this chat window. If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to initiate a new chat with us again. We are here and happy to serve to you. Horrible company. I tried ordering something from several restaurants but the "Deliver Later" feature is a joke. You cannot have a driver deliver abiut 30-40 minutes from now. They will only start delivering 2 hours ahead of time! What an absolute joke! So in other words, you have to plan a lunch BEFORE the shop even opens for the most part and when you can finally order you can't because you're at work and can't eat your lunch because it's AFTER your scheduled lunch time. But it you wanted to order now then you can. And sometimes the driver cancels on you because they have another delivery that pays more, and you have to wait for another driver. I really hate Grab.

Terrible Service. I ordered food through the app. The order was confirmed and said “restaurant is preparing your order,” “expected delivery 5:50-6:05pm” at 6:05 I checked the app to see where the driver was, is saw “your order has been cancelled as we don’t have an available driver. Try to place your order again.” No message, no email, no nothing. Just a change in the status when I went to check on my (previously confirmed and in process) order. When I went to try to place my order again, the restaurant I ordered from was unavailable. I called “customer service” and was told I “could try to call the restaurant and place an order and then take a grab to go pick it up.” I asked for help placing my order from the restaurant, help getting other food delivered, help with anything at all that could improve the situation. I was told that they don’t have the ability to assist with orders (I was told this from the customer service number on the app that I ordered from.) I (used to) use grab literally every single day for transport and very frequently for food delivery. I will no longer be using them.

Shady Business Practices. Grab in the Philippines engages in very shady business practices from allowing drivers to cherry pick their rides to cancelling food orders claiming that there are no drivers available, yet when you immediately from the restaurant on either side the order immediately goes through. I have tested this on numerous occasions and my assumption is Grab has given restaurants a secret way to cancel orders to avoid taking blame for not fulfilling the orders. Additionally, in the Philippines grab has essentially stopped accepting foreign credit cards for food delivery to prevent charge backs because they act in such a fraudulent manner. What is going on here? I wish Uber was back as bad as they are grab needs to get light shone on their corrupt mess they are operating in the Philippines. I have dozens of photos of evidence of wrong orders and misdeliveries yet they only give partial refunds. This company is a group of scammers and holds a monopoly in the Philippines in my opinion.

Inconsistent. Though I enjoy using this app for its various points such as delivery, taxi, and sometimes sending products, it can be inconsistent in finding a driver. There were many times when I have ordered food and expect it to be here, only to wait one hour and recheck to see that they couldn’t find a driver. If they couldn’t have found a driver, why didn’t they keep trying, or at least send me a notification? They like to send me notification on nonesense deals and promotions, but they don’t send notifications on important things like a cancelled order. Also one time, one of the shop had to refund me something because they forgot the order, it was just 20Bhat or around 65 cents, and instead of just putting it toward my next order, they literally divided into two and gave me a coupon of 10 bhat each. I know they did it so I would order two more orders instead of one but are you serious? You really have to be that much of a money grabber? Honestly getting annoyed at them and will expand my app usage to other apps now.

Worthless Customer Support. When delivery drivers forget food orders, customer support does nothing. Wasted money. Corporate policies for fixing the issue are redundant and inefficient and usually lead to nothing being fixed or refunded. Leaves you only able to review the delivery driver, which isn’t fair since the problems are mostly corporate’s fault on how they handle cases. I continuously order food only to see later that they couldn’t find a driver. It shouldn’t be difficult to order food. Funny thing is that if this fails, I usually am able to order from another service successfully. I have reduced the amount I use the service these days. Use another service, there are better and cheaper alternatives.

Getting around Ho Chi Minh City. Downloaded the app in seconds, entered details in a minute and booked a car which was a 30 second wait. Driver had new car and very clean. Aircon was running so got instant relief from the heat. No bartering on price. 10 minutes later and A$3.50 we were back at our hotel. Greatest thing I have done for getting around this great city!

Can’t Cancel Other Than Through Call Grab. I ordered Grab Express. Unfortunately the store wasn’t not there anymore, so I needed to cancel. But the only way to cancel was by calling Grab Support. Sadly until I run out of credit (4 minutes waiting just listening to music) no one picked up. The driver could cancel but Grab automatically tried to find me a new driver! So the cycles continued! The only way to finish this vicious cycle was by finishing the order which really a shame cs it’s nobody’s fault!

service is good, but app is built to outsmart people. i saw an offer for discount on 30 trips for subscribing and decided to since we will travel Asia. Did not receive any vouchers for it. also after subscription for some reason membership button disappears from Account menu and have to look for it. Saw a small button under payment methods to access it and at the button they intentionally placed a very small cancel subscription button, obviously its to make it harder for people to cancel after subscribing

Very bad app!. My overall experience with this app was generally bad. The pick up pin point is not accurate causing the driver to keep wandering around while I'm waiting under hot weather. Recently, Grab company demonstrated that they do not support their drivers to become a law abiding individual and even punished one of their drivers for doing the right thing. This adds on to my overall dissatisfaction.

Expand functions for overseas purchases.. The app is handy and I have used it in Vietnam and more in the Philippines for drivers to and from the airport and also shopping trips. What I would like to be able to do is order food for my wife and son who are in lockdown in the Philippines while I am stuck here in Australia. Either cash or card as payment but card would be better as legally I can’t let her use my credit card on her account. This would allow me to have food delivered a few times a week to her and my son. This would be highly recommended by me at this present time.

A Pleasant Experience. So far our first experiences of Grab in Malaysia have been positive. The hour run in from KL airport after a late arrival and the trip back to the hotel after a big day in KL have both been a blessing. Trips are very affordable and good value.

Ordered food for my dad overseas!. Used this app to order food for my dad who is stuck in Malaysia, from my home in Australia. Took a bit of fiddling but once I had the address and PayPal set up it was easy. Great experience.

Can’t pay with credit card for overseas food order. I was delighted to see that I could order food delivery for my parents in Malaysia. The app states that payment should be made using credit card. However, upon trying to pay, the app did not accept my overseas credit card. I tried with my Malaysia credit card but the app also did not accept it. I can confirm that it was not an issue with credit card limits. I have used my overseas credit card for grab car and grab food in Malaysia before and it worked well then. Please fix the payment issue. Otherwise the functionality of ordering food delivery overseas is as good as being pointless.

Wrong waiting point shown to the driver. The driver has been patient enough to check with me again & again. We met finally & completed the trip

Impossible to cancel orders. Buyer beware. Did an order and had to immediately cancel - app claimed our food was cooked and driver ready within 15 seconds. So cancellation was not permitted. Food was not prepared within 15 seconds and driver was not at restaurant- provided phone number wouldn’t connect. So we struggled to cancel which was impossible to do. App appears set up so orders can never be cancelled. Buyer beware. Seems a bit of a scam so you must complete orders you no longer want. Not impressed

Almost decent. Every other features are good and convenient to use, but the only thing that annoys me is that you can transfer money back to bank which is quite inconvenient. Hope developer would add the feature in the near future (Grab Malaysia).

Fantastic taxi service. When in Malaysia it is the best way to get a ride. All you have to do is buy a Malaysian Tourist sim and download GRAB APP. Very prompt service no matter where you are

Could be better. It would be good if the app allowed someone overseas to buy food for the people in the available countries. I am a Malaysian overseas in Australia and would like to buy my loved ones some food but I can’t do that as the application knows I’m out of the area. Perhaps using that location you could only allow the option of only using card to avoid being played.

Be careful when loading money as its not transferred when you go to another country. Used grab in singapore and went to malaysia thinking it will continue and funds will be there but no balance was zero. I told customer service to transfer funds over as im in singapore for a holiday. Customer service said no and funds will be there when youre back in singapore thinking i live there. They even rejected to refund me.

Drivers make things difficult. Driver was 5 minutes away, then turns around, drives a different direction, now 15 minutes away. So I cancelled th job because I had already waited 15 minutes. Booked another ride “closest” driver was 20 minutes away now… On another occasion, driver just did not pick me up, I was waiting for 25 minutes and he was 4 minutes away. Then decided he didn’t want the job I guess? The app penalizes you for a driver’s incompetence.

Customer support?. I really have loved the service. But since adding my Visa card I could no longer connect to any drivers. After removing my Visa card again, I am now able to book with cash and connect to my drivers. There is a bug that needs fixing, as I would prefer card payment instead of cash only. A few of my friends have had the same problem and can only connect to drivers when choosing cash only. Hope to hear back soon.

Hate, hate, hate the Lazada ad on the trip page.. It takes up so much space and I can hardly see the route! Take away please or at least give option to minimise! 😡😡

Worse app for customer support. Hungry and ordered food? If there is a problem bad luck. You can not contact them for a minimum of 48 hours. If you find the number you can call but they will never answer and tell you to report it in the app for a more efficient service. The app tells you to email, it goes in circles. If you pay by credit card the driver cancels the order and keeps the food. 2 times in the last 2 days. What do you think after waiting 48 hours for a response (lucky there are other apps I could order my food). Thank you for your feedback bla back automatic response. Wayne. If you operate in a progressive city like Singapore your system should accept international credit cards. It is quite normal for tourists not to carry cash these days, with credit card being their only means of payment. Your drivers should also be available 24 hours - it is quite frustrating to try connect with a driver for at least 30 mins at 4am only to have to call a cab.

Growing on me. The more I use Grab the more I have enjoyed the comfort of the car, the fact I don’t have to argue about the price and how relatively cheap and convenient it is. My only disappointment is that I can’t use Grab Taxi in Chiang Rai. Only Harm Motorcycle is available. Grab, when will this change?

Grab not greed. So glad I was recommended to use Grab bike in Bali - drivers were punctual and the low cost was insane, great way to get around and the extra tip was still cheaper than any other transport - definitely recommend 100%

Lack of Calling for others. I often use it to call Tuk Tuk for my other family members who do not have technology knowledge, i.e. don’t know how to use. So I have to select a pick up location on their end. This is where the frustration comes in. It’s one of the saved places in my address book but there is no option to select it from them. The only option is “Where to”. There should be a “Pick Someone Up” option or whatnot.

Charged for $3 cancellation fee.. Why should I pay as the driver did not want to take us 4 persons for the trip has confirmed for $52.3 from The Crown Hotel to SS2, the driver said his car only can take 3 persons??? I should be compensated instead of paying the cancellation charge. In the first place the Grab should mention that his car only can take 3 pax. However, when I called again , another driver with the same type of car has no problem to take us.

Like Uber - easy to grab a cab. I rely on this in thailand & Singapore for safe taxi travel without getting fleeced. Really easy to use interface and in english. Provides a two way chat between you and can driver while they are on their way to collect you, and shows real time update on googleMaps overlay so you know where they are. ** Changelog/VersionHistory: Please add a list of actual changes or bugfixes. Just saying Bugfixes each time is useless.

Malaysia penang worst driver Jayaprakas a/l pqm267. We met the worst driver in Malaysia penyang. His name is Jayaprakas a/l. His car is pqm267. His arrogant and annoying attitude destroys our trip. He insults girls on the car and tries to grab my friend’s phone. He also stops the car in the middle of the trip and abuses customers. Also, his behaviour (low awareness of customer service) reflects he does not care about the benefits of grab at all. It is grab’s mistake to hire driver like him.

2nd time I’ve now ordered food from a restaurant that doesn’t even exist anymore. This company has false restaurant listings and fake restaurant activities. First time it was restaurant ”Mahota” at lavender that I ordered from, and then got a notification that food is ready for delivery. When I went there the restaurant has vacated the premises and doesn’t even exist anymore. I reported it to Grab support and it STILL hasn’t been removed as of today. Second time just now, Lighthouse restaurant Lavender. Got notification that order was being prepared and ready for pickup, go downstairs and it’s completely closed today on New Years Day. What’s worse, grab support is not even working so can’t report and no way currently to get my refund. My only option is to mark as “Order collected”. Impossible much? They need to get their operations team in order and remove these fake actions from restaurants that don’t exist or aren’t even open, immediately.

Language Barriers. It is such a blessing for us however, I face difficulty because of Vietnamese language. Second, there should be a system to report grab drivers who you are not travelling with but are working with grab with no traffic sense.

Best way to get around!. Grab is very effective and efficient It employs a lot of people with just a vehicle and a phone and you’re picked up and dropped door to door no parking hassles! Very good for environment less vehicles on the road!

An Amazing Genius App. For the urban dweller, Grab offers everything one could need or want at unbeatable convenience and pricing. Difficult to imagine life without it, especially when stuck in quarantine!!!

Get a taxi instead. Woeful app. Doesn’t locate you correctly on map so when you order a car it goes to a wrong location. You then get charged a waiting fee even after texting the driver to advise the problem. After using it for 2 days we gave up on it and found we could get a cab more quickly and at about 70% of the price. Be aware!! Once you have registered a payment system with them that have complete control to do as they please.

Very confusing and inconvenient to use. When I use grab car, After entering the destination address, I have no chance to validate if the address is actually where I wanna go, and ended up with different destination with the same street name, different town. Another inconvenience is I’m not able to see number of available cars around me unless I make booking. Uber is still better in that sense.

Wrong Locations. Taxi pick up jumps to preset locations rather than use my GPS location. Can be 200m away. The least the app could do is give me a chance to select my location. I end up having yo walk in the rain or cross intersections to get to the pick up point. Today it sent both myself and the driver to a building down the road even though we both started off at the same taxi rank.

Honesty and Professionalism. I recently lost my brand new iPhone in a Grab driver’s vehicle during a short stay in Singapore. I was able to submit a message in the App asking for help to locate my lost item. Within 24 hours my phone was located and I was contacted by Ash from Grab to organise the return of my phone. I can’t believe how lucky I am and I have nothing but praise for the prompt and professional service at Grab.

Why andriod can but iphone cant?. I rely grab a lot for my 3 meals, i just switched over from andriod to iphone today. Andriod version - i able to track the progress of the delivery when the food is out for delivery. It’s to prepare myself when the driver is near and also and make sure no suspicious activities which I experienced before. After picking up my food, the driver stop by another residential area for 20mins over. But at iphone, i cant even track the driver, i only being notified that my food is out of delivery. The transparency of delivery is important so we can order with worry free. Kindly take a look into this. Thank you.

Can’t place an order. Keeps saying “Offer can’t be used on this order, you can still proceed with this order” but no matter how hard I try there’s no way to press the order button (it’s greyed out instead of being green). I have no idea why, since I’m not trying to use an “offer”, I’m just paying with card.

Awful. My experience. Set up the app. - Book to go to a place 3km away - Immediately get a ride. Told to walk to another location & it is not clear where I have to walk to. - Driver calls my personal number because the in app calling system won’t work. So no privacy if you’re a woman (I’m not). - Repeatedly called to cancel. I refuse to cancel cause I know like Uber it would probably just charge me. - On 3rd phone call to my personal phone number driver convinces me it won’t charge me money if I cancel on my end. I cancel. - I am charged the full amount plus a cancellation fee. - So my experience when immediately using the app is being charged for a ride I never took. Plus a cancellation fee & still in the same place I was when I first opened the app. - In summary; I’ve had money stolen from me. The app should be called “Grub”, not “Grab”

Scams. Recently got scammed where free delivery was promised on an order with minimum spending but was charged for it. I took the issue up with Customer Support and they brought up that additional steps needed to be taken, which were nowhere to be found, and did not provide any solutions. I came to look at reviews to see if it was just my experience and am shocked to see so many others being scammed as well. I wish someone had warned me earlier to use other apps for my transport and food. I will look at reviews carefully for the other apps, I suggest to stay away from Grab, or to shift if you’re already on it.

Great service.. The service is good. (Check out Grab Driver reviews, trigger warning.) Scammer fkr. Grab sold me food that doesn’t exist at the location. I was told to pick up food from a vendor that has nothing to do with my order. Grab wound not refund and offer any compensation for wasting my time and exposing my transaction account. While trying to resolve the issue Grab removed my access from the help centre. Eman from the help centre gave himself 5 stars for not resolving the issue while finding where to rate the resolution could not be found. This app should be removed from the App Store to protect customers.

Bad user experience. It’s not convenient to use when you are in a hurry, because the assigned drivers often need to another drop off first(the navigation is also not good enough) and their weird wallet top up requirement! I wish it could be designed to give users a better experience.

Great app. Grab is the ideal application for getting around to avoid people taking advantage of being a foreigner in a new country! This was my experience and very grateful as it makes you feel welcomed in the country!

Trash. Don’t use grab in Asia, use whatever competitor is available. After years of living in various countries, by far grab has the worst delivery drivers ever - from straight up ripping you off to waiting for literally hours for an available driver. The app tricks you too.. you have to wait for food to be prepared before they tell you it’s not coming… literally four hours. They also don’t accept credit cards randomly. I’ve had it with grab.

Needs to break the language barrier for example translation features. Needs more English/Translation features to help foreigners use the app and communicate better with the drivers and restaurants

Cancellation charge. I booked a ride that was supposed to arrived at 7:51 pm but he was early and I asked the driver to wait. He replied ok, no problem. But he cancelled the ride and charged me $4.00 to be paid to the next driver. Also I questioned the information in the Grab app which says the duration of the ride is only 8 minutes from Compassvale lane in Sengkang to terminal 1 at Changi.

Terrible experience using this app. This app is soooo heavy to open. It even takes forever to load on every single tap switching functions and got crashed while just scrolling through options. It also full of bugs even after so many update versions. It reports errors so often on every kind of services. Its interface design is all over the place and complicated.

Rubbish. You will be charging late fee nearly 50% of your trips and you don’t understand why !? Their customer service team is helpless, full stop.

Worst drivers ever. Company has no check and balance, drivers are shifty, they accept trip and don’t move and after 5 minutes if you need to rebook again with different driver they ask you to pay extra 3RM for cancellation. Most of the drivers have lack of basic manners like greeting and stuff! Grab food is better than grab riders app. Also if you accidentally choose cash for the ride, you can’t change it later and drivers gets advantage of charging you more in dollars. Most of Malay drivers are so arrogant, other asians are better than them. I will give 0 star rating to Malay drivers.

Prepare to wait a long time. This app takes so long to get a ride. I used Uber to commute for years and never waited as long as the average wait time on this grab app. Today I had to wait over thirty minutes and multiple drivers cancel on me. In the mean time the price went up 2.5 times as much as when I booked. Unfortunately this has been far from a one off in Singapore. It is time to move to a different app.

Mostly good, but we cannot communicate with anyone when something goes wrong. Five things that are very frustrating: The drivers often leave before I can see that the order is correct. The drivers often turn off chat so I cannot contact them after delivery is made. The order is sometimes missing something or incorrect. I cannot contact the restaurants at all. Finally, even when Grab sends me the link for refund, still the form will not work!?!

Complain. I called a grab this afternoon to Tan Dinh market and waited for the driver never showed up and I called, he didn’t answer, has to recall another grab but you charged me 10,000. To me it is not right

Amazing app. We’re from Canada, travelling SEA for the next six months. When we first arrived in Malaysia we downloaded the app, added a credit card, and used it to book cars. Everything seemed to work so we added RM200 to the wallet to use GrabPay. So far so good. Then everything went totally sideways in a big way. When we tried to top up our wallet our credit card was rejected. We tried loading three other credit cards. All were rejected. Then the app defaulted to wallet as the primary payment method, meaning we couldn’t book cars as we had been doing for a week. We reached out by chat and were told that Grab has identified a “security issue” with foreign credit cards so they were not being accepted. Unbelievable. And it got better/worse. We were told that our option was to load the app at any 7-Eleven using cash and a PIN. The first 7-Eleven we tried (at Kota Kinabalu airport) told us that they didn’t do that. Unbelievable! Just a brutal app experience if you’re from somewhere other than Malaysia.

Grab Drivers. All GRAB Drivers we’ve had exceeded our expectations. They are sociable, reliable and honest. I wish people in general be as good as they are. Please keep up the great service you’re giving us.

Not great. This app isn’t very good for English users. It can only find the location I input maybe 50% of the time. Even if I direct copy and paste the address from google. It’s localization is also terrible. It can’t seem to find where I’m standing ever. Placing me on the wrong side of the road or taking 5 mins to localize. Needs a lot of work.

Can’t transfer money in account between countries. I had $30 Singaporean dollars on my account but it didn’t transfer when I wen to Vietnam.

Waste of time use food panda. Useless app doesn’t let you cancel order and help centre is just as bad telling you to click a non existent button to “chat” they’ll let you book an order repeatedly just to say drivers are too busy 3 times in a row. Fox you trash app before you charge people for providing 0 service. Taxi service is just as bad. They target toll booths to charge you more than original amount.

My chauffeur. Be careful about your location pick up point but otherwise super convenient!! I did get double charged when I first got here, paid 380,000 on my card without realizing then gave him the same which the guy took (thinking it was a massive tip?). Grab refunded it really quickly, so hats off grab for being great!

so expensive. As soon as I set off, I decided not to leave and returned to the starting point. only walked a short distance but charged a very expensive fee.

Better than Uber. We travel a lot, have had to use Uber multiple times in different countries. We have been in Thailand now for a few weeks, have had to use Grab multiple times, have had zero issues and much faster than Uber services.

Zero attention to accessibility. You cannot change the font size in this app, which is a shame. People who have aging eyes or have bad eyesights can’t use this app because the font is too small. Big L for the devs who made this app, pay literally no attention to the accessibility of their users.

Poor customer service. Merchant had outright wrong picture of the pizza toppings in their ad and I ordered it, receiving the wrong pizza obviously. Customer service messages me and says it’s my fault for not reading the menu written in Vietnamese while I’ve selected to use the English version of their app. Why is it our responsibility to vet their merchants for their incorrect pictures and manually translate menus while Grab supposedly has an English version? I find it all a bit ridiculous that all of this is pushed upon us

Grab is faltering. Last week my order was canceled twice because the drivers determined it was not profitable for them. Now today, an order 1/3 km away was cancelled three times because a lack of drivers, yet when I went to pick it up myself, several drivers were awaiting deliveries.

Great app. Works well, makes travel easier. The Grab app, and the Grab service, are almost indispensable when I’m in SE Asia. It’s easy to book a ride, including selecting the type of car one needs. Being able to track the driver is a great feature. The option to pay from within the app in nice, although I haven’t used it. Highly recommended.

Why is it so difficult to use a credit card?. I’ve been in Hanoi for three months. The app works great, rides are easy to arrange. I’ve used the app and service in several other cities in Vietnam, works great in all of them. But I can only use cash. If I add a card, I can’t get a ride. And I know this is a common problem, at least for Americans living in Hanoi. Fix that and it will be 5 stars.

Very unsatisfactory costumers service. Don’t have good service of contact information, is very insecure because don’t have a contact line that we can talk with costumers service in case that we need help. The pour service by email is a try desastre, I started help my family in Philippines buying food and now they don’t accept the payment, I never received a good information that can help to resolve the issue only they, send messages that don’t help, is like contact the air. It sad.

Round trip. I try to find an option of round trip. There use to be an option on the old menu. I was just dropping off a balikbayan box then go back home. I have to call a cab going back.

Worst online customer service support. I was trying to contact the online service center 1 second after realizing I made a wrong self-pick up order. NO ONE replied, no way to find an online support to cancel even though I called the restaurant and they also agreed to cancel for me.(even the restaurant couldn’t contact any online support that moment!!!) Moreover, 1 hour later finally Grab opened the chat window and promised to have supervisor call me back within a day. Guess what…no one ever bother to called me back. Thanks for the worst online experience ever!

Waited TWO hours for food…Driver Canceled Order. What a colossal waste of time using Grab Food today. Ordered from KyoChon in MidValley around 4:15pm. Waited two freaking hours only to have the driver cancel the order citing food item is unavailable. I order early specifically to avoid having problems with my orders and still Grab and screw up my experience. If the item I ordered is unavailable then how can Grab take my order and my money? If the driver goes to pick up the food and the item is unavailable, why do I have to wait TWO hours, have the order canceled on me, contact grab support and then find out the item is unavailable. This is a process geared towards achieving negative experiences. If you have time to BLOW use Grabfood, otherwise avoid them. BE PREPARED TO BE DISAPPOINTED USING GRABFOOD!

App is not easy. Tried for two days to use grab but had problems with getting the account sorted out as this is my first time to download and use this. Now that I have $$ in the grab account, I tried to book a ride and it wont accept my booking. I was able to get a ride but had to choose cash payment. I am used to using UBER AND LYFT in USA and never had this problem

Having issues with paying with credit cards. I have been using credit cards for payment for the past 6 months. One day, I ordered grab food and the driver cancelled the order. Ever since that day, my credit card doesn’t work. I called my credit card company and they said they didn’t do anything and this is coming from grab. I tried to delete and add card (both same cards and different ones) again and it doesn’t work. This is inconvenient.

Promotional coupon cannot be found. In general the app is pretty good. The promotion seems to be ok but can be confusing. However, the $30 Aeon coupon during the Chinese new year can’t be found anywhere in the app even though I’m supposed to get one because I’m like the 13th person to get to that level. I think they probably decided not to issue to save some money. Calling clueless customer doesn’t help. They don’t even know about the promotion. They just play along with the customers.

Must have for tourists visiting SEA.. Finding an honest taxi driver in Thailand is not easy. Even taxis arranged by reputable hotels will try to scam you. If you are visiting Thailand or any where in SEA, do your self a favor and download GRAB. Not having to deal with taxis will make your vacation much more pleasant.

Where’s the car?. I’ve been in the Philippines for a week. Everyday I tried to book a ride in several occasions. Every time, there was nothing available. I waited and waited. Just had to hail a cab all the time. Do you even have grab drivers? Zero rating so far, but that’s not a choice above.

Different Pickup Time on Actual. We ordered on the app and it says ‘ready for pickup’; however when we came to the shop they told us that we will just start cooking and will available in an hour. If we had known we shouldn’t have used the app and order in person on other stores instead. When we sent a message to customer service, no one is responding. I need a refund for my orders. This is a stupid app. Should have use other apps.

Great for Asia, but grab needs to pay drivers better. We use grab almost consistently because we don’t need to worry about cash. I do wish grab would pay their drivers a higher percentage. Grab please pay drivers a working wage and a higher percentage of the profit. Our Vietnamese driver said that grab pays much less than taxi companies. If you can, help the local drivers and use taxi instead or hire them privately for tours. We want our Vietnamese friends to be happy and supported.

Recent Updates Has Major Bugs. Many of the restaurants that I normally order food from are marked “outside of delivery area”. This means the Grab cannot deliver food to my home. I have called and spoken with some of the restaurant owners who have mentioned that this has caused a problem on their end. Please fix this. It is difficult enough to order food during a pandemic without these extra issues, thank you.

Used to be so much better. There was a time when grab prices used to be so great. But I get it, during Covid things can become a bit more pricey. I can forgive slowly increasing prices to the point where taxi is consistently cheaper but what is unacceptable is giving me 50% off grab rides but capping it at 5$?! Might as well just say 99.9% off and cap that at 5$ too. Just straight up click bait.

Very helpful and reliable so far.. Have used over several years and have not had a problem. Canceled drivers sometimes but another comes right away. Have had many successful on time food deliveries. I recommend that if you are booking for a plane flight prebook to make sure you don’t stress about pickup. Have used mostly in Thailand.

Driver Rating. My only complaint is that the app doesn’t allow to go back and rate a driver if you forget to immediately do it. The rating page will appear then immediately disappear not allowing away to complete. As every delivery driver I have had deserved 5stars and ticked all the boxes. Good Job Grab

1st Grab Experience. My 1st Grab experience. Excellent service. I booked early by accident. Driver showed up fast and was very nice to give us a few minutes to get ready. Ride was perfect clean professional. Thank you for a wonderful first time!

App is good but arrival time is not always right. App works but there have been several times when arrival time is not correct. For example, when n it shows taxi is coming in certain time and i don’t want to wait that amount time, the taxi arrives already. It could confuse people and may end up canceling the ride.

Can’t ADD a card. Not sure what the issue is but the app won’t let me add a credit card. I’ve tried the support center, but it isn’t helpful at all. No way to contact Grab for help. Looks like they only have support for after the ride. I’ve tried multiple cards, updates the app, restarted the app. Nothing changes. Please advise.

Taxi ride enjoyable again. With Grab I feel like I’m not getting ripped off. By the taxi driver refusing to turn on his meter, or taking long way to my destination . The ride mapped out from A-B and the price is set . It just Make things fare , & I’ve been ripped off in past . That just pisses you off , when you found you paid double the fair . Thanks Grab !

Thai-only app with no responsibility. App works only in Thailand and requires to have a Thai phone number and Thai bank card. If you forget something in the car, the app suggests to call the driver, but the driver never picks up; the phone is not a real phone because you cannot send an SMS wither. In the end, there is no way to contact the driver or Grab support. If you select Email support, it will show my own email address and nothing else. Broken and unsafe.

Unacceptable delays by combining deliveries. If you want your food delivered cold because it’s been on a trip around town to deliver someone else’s order first then this is the service for you. These decisions that ignore what’s good for the customer while thinking of only the bottom line will be detrimental to consumers. Hopefully no merger will go through with Get and competition remains strong or they will continue to let greed rule at the expense of customers and riders. I can’t even complain in the app because then the driver is penalized for corporate greed.

Where are the cars?. I have been a big user of grab four years now. But over the last two weeks I have started thinking about finding a different way to get around KL. Why? Because it has suddenly become almost impossible to get a car, especially in the morning. Where are the cars?

Food delivery is good. Taxi service is horrible. For food delivery is good. We use it in Hanoi Vietnam. However, it’s extremely difficult to get an actual driver to accept a fair here. Today alone I waited for 20+ minutes twice and never got a taxi. I finally had to hail a taxi. Something wrong with the algorithm or not enough people? Either way it’s been a bad experience with grab taxi service so far.

Not amenable to mistakes. The app is not amenable to mistakes. It automatically chooses the address and doesn’t have any verification before you place the order. So if you have it delivered to your work and forget to change it the food is delivered to the wrong place. There is no where to report or adjust the delivery address after you order. Even if it’s just seconds after.

Just awful. Beware that if you order food for delivery you can’t cancel the order even if the restaurant keeps delaying the order. We placed an order with Bon Chon at terminal 21. When we placed the order, the app said we would get our food in 25 minutes. There was delay after delay. An hour and a half later we still have not received our food and there is no way of cancelling the order. The call center is absolutely useless.

Getting banned for canceling 1hr waiting drivers. Banned two times for being forced to wait drivers who are 30 minutes to 1 hour away from me while there are many drivers on the map nearby my location. Why Grab doesn’t limit the distance from the passenger within which the drivers can see the passenger order? And why no preference is given to the drivers who are nearer to the passenger and not the far drivers? Got really annoyed being stranded at night without any taxi!!!

Necessary updates for 5 Stars ⭐️. •Honestly I am really impressed by this app with multiple tasks in it. •I love to take grab taxi instead of random one for its security and service. • Yet some locations especially my home can’t be pin-pointed to show exactly where I am and this often leads me to more talking with taxi driver. Sometimes this is annoying cuz he waits for me at somewhere I have to walk far from my home to save my own time. • I’d be more excited to see the live movement of taxi with much less delay on the map in the app. • I’d be very happy to order Grab food if the app includes more restaurants and better results for the food/ restaurant search. Excellence!. My stepmother is visiting the Philippines and staying in BGC and I wanted to order food and have it delivered. The Grab app was easy, quick, an no hassle. My delivery person even called me in the States with confirmation. 5 stars to Grab!! I used Grab on past trips to the Philippines and always had excellent service. Maraming Salamat 🙏🏼

Verification not working. I sent required ID and selfie and address. I received a notification “Live verification successful.” However, my GrabPay Wallet status still showed as “Verification in progress.” I resent required ID and selfie and address. Again, I was notified that “Live verification successful.” 24 hours later, GrabPay Wallet still showed “Verification in progress.” I sent all info again for the 3rd time. Sure enough, I was notified “Live verification successful.” I am still waiting for the wallet status to update. (I have a screen grab of successful notification but I cannot upload with this review)

Great but credit card won’t work. Grab is great! But for some reason many people can’t use their credit card whereas foodpanda worked immediately with credit card. So there’s some problem with Grab payment system. Please fix then five stars! 😄

Doesn’t Work. Downloaded tried to add credit card for payment in USA and just first click no entry prompts and “Sorry our server reported a error (Bad Imput) try again later” tried several time in a 12 hour period. Lame on my way to Philippines I’ll have to research a alternative. Now in Philippines with a Filipino Sim Card and still can’t use. Let’s me enter all credit card information now and returns “Sorry, we couldn’t add your card…. For security, please add a card with one time password (OTP) for verification.

Canceled all the time. Drivers, restaurants routinely cancel orders or don’t have what you ordered. You pretty much have to wait by your phone for 30 minutes hoping that your order will arrive which really defeats the purpose of ordering by app. On top of that Grab makes you pay first even if the restaurant doesn’t deliver. Update: this is several months later and still no improvement. The drivers cancel food orders all the time and Grab does nothing to maintain their quality standards. Coming back to add — still there is an issue with drivers canceling the order!!

Very good Uber substitute in Asia. Overall the app works quite well. I have only used the ride version only. They definitely have many grab delivery drivers. Unfortunately the vehicle drivers can’t deliver In traffic so only scooters or bicycle is appropriate. The only thing I have difficulty was the app does not pickup your location accurately

Make it easier to contact support?. So the app is nice, as a traveler it’s really nice to have a delivery app sometimes. But my account got suspended randomly for nothing, and it’s been like running into a wall trying to contact your support to get that fixed. Maybe add an easier thing for foreigners using the app, I know we’re a small majority but still. Overall good app, just wish I could get my account unsuspended.

Grab has been known as the first delivery apps in Thailand the name is chashy and easy to pronounce,I’ve been using this since 2016 within great experience until something change the layout and the apps change and the bad thing is the delivery price is getting high like I was ordering a food from another planet. Same service problems as the rest. Fine, the app is nice, but the service and tech behind the app is awful. I waited an hour for food that was supposed to be delivered in 30 minutes only to be notified that my order was cancelled. Zero customer support. Update: nothing has changed. Sometimes I’ll wait half an hour for a ride on a a small island. Food delivery availability changes by the minute with zero logic. It’s more frustrating than helpful, but when it’s the only game in town, what choice do we have…

Completely unsecure app with no respect for user privacy. Despite months of back and forth with Grab Support there is some random person who was able to take over my account by getting my recycled mobile number. This gave them access to my email address, as well as my ride and order history, and is s privacy violation. I also lost all rewards and points I had accumulated. Support is refusing to wipe my data from the other persons account and restore it to mine. This happened because the app ties everything to your phone number. Beware this app.

Short of another side dish - hei zho in the order. The Food Opera at Ion that I ordered from (Capitol Minced Pork Noodle set $8.80 included 3 pcs deep-fried hei zho). It wasn’t included in my delivery. Not sure if the driver forgot or the stall holder did not include in my order. I only had the noodle dish and the soup. How can I get my refund on the 3 pieces of hei zho? The regular minced pork noodle is $6.80 without the hei zho. Pls advise refund of the $2.00.

Generally fine. Since it’s basically Uber, no wonder it’s the most popular. It’s fine for the most part. They probably have the fewest annoying notifications about stuff you don’t care about then any other similar apps, which is a win in itself. The selection for food could be bigger.

Has potential but for now cannot use. I am visiting Singapore, my colleagues recommended Grab. I down loaded and used twice, was great would rate five stars. Now my account is suspended but don’t know why, both times I used my card was charged correctly, my receipt match’s the charges. No way to find out why suspended, the appeal just replied they will get back to me in five days. I leave in 8 days. That makes this app useless for me now. I doubt I will even consider using on future visits which is typically 7-10 times a year

Won’t let me add payment method. App used to work great. Loved when traveling between countries in South East Asia. Now it won’t let me update credit card information, so if you are not from that country this app is now useless. Update to developers response: Not interested in using your app anymore. If you can not get your payment upload to work easily while I am in said country I will use Uber where I can or Food Panda or call local drivers I know and pay them directly so you get nothing. I don’t want to troubleshoot with you via FB. Thanks though.

Driver chat & call often not working. 2 most annoying problem with the app 1. Often initiating chat to driver not working. Keep clicking the chat button and it gives error message. The trick is either keep trying or wait for the driver to chat me first, and click on the iphone notification 2. Driver calls, I pickup and then can’t hear any voice from the driver after the call is connected

Easy to get help. 5 stars for service. Had an issue with a delivery, and when I called I got a person on the phone immediately. Such a change from what I’m used to these days. The customer service rep actually called the driver and had it all resolved within 10 min. True test is how companies respond to issues, and Grab nailed it.

The new update is not it. I have to say that the most recent app update is no better. The food delivery fee is now at least 20k vnd, that extra 5k for every delivery is going to cost a lot within a month (or at least for someone like me who order Grabfood constantly throughout throughout the day). I haven’t try grabike on the new update just yet, but I will update this review later on after using it. In conclusion, nothing in particularly about this update that wow me about, pretty disappointed, thinking about witching to Baemin and Foody instead.

Won’t accept International Credit Card anymore!. I’ve been using my U.S. credit card (Since, I don’t have local card) for the past months to order food and it was fine. Just recently, It kept declining my U.S. card to order food. I’ve been using the same card before. I don’t know if its a bug or you dont accept international credit cards anymore?
