I wanted to play but it didn’t work. I tried to play on iMessage but it said I needed to log into iCloud while I was already logged onto iCloud

Add Stickers. Chess.com, theirs lots of means going around, add stickers and the will blow up with downloads with brings in attention, then you could monetize on that somehow. Or not it would still be fun for the community!

Best iMessage Chess. So far I’ve been able to play a few games using iMessage. Very easy to use and simple to start playing. In the past I’ve used game-pigeon for iMessage chess; however, I will definitely be switching to this as it allows you to easily see previous moves and customize your board aesthetic. The only feature I wish they had would be to be able to link your chess.com account. Overall, I would give it an 8.5/10.

Needs Work, But So Close!. Chess.com clearly has some great devs. The Chess for iMessages app is just some extra polish and work away from being one of the best iMessage game apps- a feature that hasn’t been mentioned much lately at WWDC, but I use apps for iMessages regularly. A bit more polish and some updating and I think this is a top 10 app for iMessages hands down.

it plainly just doesn’t work. says you need icloud to use it so i sign in and nothing happens just doesn’t work

Fix to be like game pigeon. Annoying that you can’t just stay in the menu and wait for the other person to respond. You have to exit of the game in order for the other move to show up. Other than that, good game.

iCloud Bug. I keep getting the error just like everyone else where you need to login to iCloud to play. Both myself and my friend are logged into iCloud yet we can’t play the game.

Need iCloud to play. Every time I try to start a game it tells me that I need iCloud to play. I am signed into iCloud. It is very frustrating that I cannot start any games due to this bug.

Annoying Bug. Whenever I get sent or try to send a game it tells me I need to sign into iCloud to play which I have and are signed in. The only way I can fix it temporarily is by opening the AppStore and opening the app there and then accepting a game.

Update moves with board open. First off, the app looks and feels great. I wish we were able to play without having to continuously open and close the app on each move. If that were fixed, it would be perfect.

Do not get this game!!!!. Do not get this game because even if you’re logged in to ICloud it will say that you need to login. To sum it all up: DO NOT GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!

Chess img. I hate how you have to exit each time when someone makes a move. And i can’t even send a game because it keeps telling me I have to log into iCloud to play a game unless if someone sends me a game first then I can play. Sticking with game-pigeon for now. Idk why it’s so annoying. But if it would’ve worked the way everyone wanted to it probably would’ve been rated a 4-5 star.

Unplayable due to bug. It tells me I need to log into my icloud to play chess. I am logged in, i have tried multiple resets and refreshes and the app simply doesn’t work. I am updated to the latest iOS, I am using the latest version, I have updated my chess app, and nothing. Please fix!

Amazing!. Works as intended for playing chess thru iMessage, only issue is when the message doesn’t send and we end up having to restart the whole game. A resend option would make this iMessage app perfect!

good but needs a couple things. love playing chess in iMessages! super fun! suggestions: -setting to choose color or randomize at least (instead of the challenging player always being white) -option to play a CPU (i know there is the chess.com app but would be cool to have in this too, just a few different difficulties) that is all.

New updates are terrible. Absolutely horrendous experience this past month. Constant glitches during games and unconfirmed moves being made

iPhone 12 Pro Max No Icon, not usable. Just downloaded, there is no Home Screen icon. I can open it only from the App Store and it only shows up on one contact for some reason.

iCloud. Says I have to sign into iCloud even though I am signed into iCloud, and I’ve allowed iCloud on Messages appIn system prefs, what gives?

There is no way to uninstall this app. There are multiple versions of this app and I installed the one where there is no icon that shows up, but the app still shows as downloaded when I look at the App Store. Very confused and I’ll be writing a message to apple support to figure out how to get this bogus app off of my phone
