Great ski tracker. It’s hard to find fault with this app. I do have one request, which I’ll lead with. Some of us hike to certain runs or off piste spots. Here at aspen Highlands, the Bowl is a daily ritual. Slopes tracks the hike perfectly, but seems to think it is a lift for calorie tracking purposes. I can assure you it is not. Since Slopes knows where all the lifts are, it would seem a simple matter to track this uphill high altitude trail. I love how accurate Slopes is. It captures every run perfectly, even the intermittent rest stops. The distances and speeds are great. The map of my ski day is fun. It helps me remember how many days I do what in a year, which I love. The real test will be in Japan later in the season, where on and off piste skiing is on tap. It would be nice if it tracked hiking (and skinning) separately for what it is, rather than lumping it into the lazy uphill category. Great app!

It’s simple!. Giving this 4 stars only because I don’t have premium and I can’t rate the other features. I’ve only used this for one day on the mountain and it was awesome! The app is super simple to understand, super easy to use and I don’t have to worry about pausing the app for lifts and remembering to resume. If anyone is considering this app I highly recommend it, it’s pretty cool to not check it until the end of the day to see your stats. Bragging to your friends about your top speed or comparing how fast you can do a run is all super fun. The map that shows your runs is super cool because you can see side trials you took and save it for later. Honestly there’s just so much to love about the app and I can’t wait to use it the rest of the season!

This is a wonderful App. Slopes works effortlessly and keeps accurate stats of your progress on the slopes. I’ve been using it for 3 years now and always appreciate how well it keeps track of my time, my speed, how many runs I’ve done, and elevation. You just need to remember to turn it on before you make your first run, then you just forget about it till you’re done! BYW, I use the Epic pass since I ski at the Vail properties and they have a feature on their app that’s supposed to work like Slopes. I’ve tried it twice now and it hasn’t worked at all. It just doesn’t record. By way of comparison, I’ve never had any difficulty with Slopes, EVER!!

Could be Better. I love the app! It’s good, but there is a lot that can be improved. I would rate it more positively if there were reviews for every run. Let’s say, the top speed, distance, average speed, and time for every trail you ski or ride. Also, the time on the chairlift and lift line time (as well as other breaks) are added into your average speed. This doesn’t bother me much, but when comparing with friends who use other apps, I always have a speed of around 3 mph when they have averages of 24 mph. Some apps I’ve used (which have [sadly] been taken out of the App Store) recorded numbers of jumps and names of trails. When talking with friends today on the lifts, we decided that the app should totally show the names of the trails you skied and have trail maps readily available. Along with the maps, I always wished the app would show which trails were closed, and which chairlifts were running. Other than these suggestions, the app is great!! Though I have had better apps, this one is definitely at the top. 👍

Not only unreliable, but disappointing. I was so excited to start using this app, but from day one have had problems. The primary issue is that you can get through an entire day of runs, hitting speeds you wanted recorded, making tracks you wanted to review, understanding the vertical feet that you dropped, etc. This app is not only unreliable, which unto itself you might simply say “oh well, not a great app“, but this app actually is disappointing because after an exciting day on the slopes you sit down, open your pocket, take out the app and take a look at it - and it simply says “no GPS data recorded”. After the first time this happened I read the troubleshooting guide and it said that you needed to make sure you had a reliable connection. Next time I confirmed that I did (my other apps all recorded). Next time GPS data didn’t record I was told it was likely do to keeping the app in an outside pocket where the phone got cold - keep it in an inside pocket to ensure warmth and then it will record your GPS location - so I did. It still did not work. Today I skied at Breck in 38° sunny weather and finished the day, looked at the device, and it said “no GPS data recorded“. I would be OK if an app simply didn’t work, but when you’re so excited to see how you ripped down the mountain side, and this app, let you down, makes you realize that you need to start looking for other apps. I would not waste my time with this app.

We got a winner…. I recently started using Slopes and I have to say, I'm impressed! As a ski and snowboarding enthusiast, this app is exactly what I was looking for. It provides detailed metrics about my time on the slopes, which helps me track my progress and set new goals for myself. The user experience is top-notch, with a sleek and intuitive interface that makes it easy to navigate and use. I especially love the real-time tracking feature, which allows me to see my speed, distance, and other important stats while I'm skiing. This helps me to stay motivated and push myself to ski better. The app also has a great social aspect, as I can share my stats with friends and see how I stack up against other skiers. Overall, I highly recommend Slopes to anyone who loves skiing and snowboarding. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced skier, this app is a great way to keep track of your progress and have fun on the slopes. So, if you're looking for a way to enhance your ski or snowboarding experience, give Slopes a try! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent App for Casual Riders who want to know more!. I want to start this review by saying that I have spent zero dollars on the app and have only experienced the free stuff. I go on between 3 and 5 trips a year and I started using the app a little over a year ago. This app is perfect for anyone who wants to track their days on the mountain. I use the Apple Watch app to start & pause my runs and it automatically records a snowboard workout in the activity app! Last year, I got my friends to download the app so we could see who got the highest top speed. Even without the premium features, this is the perfect app for someone who wants to have the trail map, run data, rider-reported mountain conditions, and a ski patrol help button in one place!

Simply The Best. As one who lives in a ski resort, skiing is a part nearly everyday life. I’ve tried many ski tracking apps and none compare to Slopes. This app is by far the most comprehensive, accurate, and intuitive apps you’ll find for tracking your skiing or snowboarding. It provides a wealth of detail on your ski day and the integration with Photos and Apple Health makes it the single app you need. Beyond this, I have never had better support with a developer of an app in the App Store. Recently I had an issue with my Family plan. The support team (Emma in particular) worked tirelessly to get it fixed and made sure my account and those of my family remained active as they sorted out the issue. Bottom line: This is the best app for skiers and snowboarders and it backed by an awesome support team. Tap the GET button. You’ll be happy you did 👍🏻

This app saved my life on first day!. We where at keystone, and I was in ski class. They let us free style for a while, so I went through the trees, thinking it would be a short trail to a jump, but it kept on going. Then I got stuck in a tree well. I barely got out, I was freezing without my gloves. I didn’t know what the number was for ski patrol, but the app did! Before we went skiing, my grampa told me about this app, so I got it. Ski patrol came immediately and helped me out. Thank you creators!!! This app can save your life just by a press of a button. It’s also fun to know how fast you were and try to beat your friends. I highly suggest this app.

Excellent, highly recommended. I love this app. It is highly polished and does a great job of easily tracking my stats while skiing. Just start the app in the morning and stop it at the end of the day, that’s all you need to do to get your stats. Buy the pass to see a great 3D animation of your days skiing on a map of the mountain. The Apple Watch app is a great match to the phone app and makes quickly viewing your live stats even easier. Finally, the app is regularly updated and the developer replies to emails for help or questions very quickly. I highly recommend both the app and the optional “Pass” in app purchase. Great value for money. Keep up the great work on this app.

Absolutely awesome!. Very nice application, giving you exactly what you need to log your rides. You can have a full day on the mountain, listening to music and play around without draining the battery, the accuracy is amazing and with the alerts you simply can’t forget to launch it! Bonus with notifications is that you get alerted even during summer when you are close to a slope so if you like hiking you can hike around the pistes. It would be awesome if you could locate other users in the same mountain using the app. It would also be great if you could export the daily runs on a video in order to be able to share the 3D view with friends even if they don’t use the app. Awesome work, keep it up!!

small developer = BIG DELIVERY/EPIC APP. There is not enough praise in the world to adequately justify how epic this app is. We all use multiple apps daily for every aspect of our lives. We know how difficult it can be to suggest improvements to these big app developers and get around the bugs and useless features. Not Slopes. This app just works. This is honestly the only app on my entire phone that I get excited to open and use. The amount of detail that goes into this app is astonishing. It is super user friendly and I show it off to all my friends. This makes skiing that much more enjoyable off the slopes. I open the app and start recording at the beginning of the day and close it after my last run. Then, when I get home, I get to relive the time on the mountains with the statistics/data and the interactive map. This app gives me hope for new developers and specifically the small ones. You don’t need to be a multi million dollar corporation to build a beautiful app. Just a hard working, passionate person. Thank you Slopes for being the most epic app I have ever used. Can’t wait to ski again.

Decent but not great. Rode morning and afternoon and recorded separately, gave me an option to “Merge” the two and it deleted the whole afternoon which was the whole day but 3 runs. Maybe I need to brush up on my understanding of the English language but when I see merge I think combine. What happened to me seems a lot more like replacing or overwriting, which is in no way what I wanted. Besides that it is pretty much what it says it is. The app for the watch is cool, seeing my speed every run is nice. Would be much better if it told you how long your last run was at least on the watch, like a summary of the last run of some sort. Didn’t really get to see the little map thing it generates of your runs since it deleted most of my day. Decent but really could use some improvement. “Merge “is NOT synonymous with “overwrite with”. Very irritating.

Best ski tracking app!. I’ve used another ski tracker (Ski Tracks)for a long time, 7-8 years now. It was very good, but Slopes is even better. It does an excellent job of tracking runs even if you don’t have a paid subscription. But, the price of admission is totally worth it for what you get. The detailed run stats and 3D maps make for reviewing the days activities very easy and fun. The mapping is even better than what I am used to from Ski Tracks. The Apple Watch integration is amazing - just start your tracking from the Watch at the beginning of your day and you’ve always got detailed info on your wrist throughout the day....best of all it saves HR data so you can view that at the end of the day with your other stats. What sold me on Slopes was the built-in integration with Strava. This is the only area that I would currently like to see some upgrades. After communicating with the developer, sounds like that is on Strava’s end. Currently some of the speed data doesn’t get linked properly, but the real important stuff like distance & vertical flow over nicely. All in all this is a very solid tracker, worth the paid price. Pick it up before your next day out on the slopes!

Great app, great support!. Love the app and customer support was amazing! Quick response, friendly and recovered the data I thought was lost when my phone battery died toward the end of the day. I would love to see the ability to share/export a day’s log with friends. I have two instances of friends I skied with who either didn’t have the app then but do now, or they forgot to turn it on, but we skied together the whole day. Would be great to be able to export my log to them and they could import as if it were their own. Also, the ability to add maybe like 3 photos instead of just one would be great. Thanks for a quality and fun app!

Outstanding app for snowsports enthusiasts. Simply put: outstanding app. From the wealth of stats that are collected to their presentation, Slopes is hands down the best app for tracking your feats of heroism in the mountains. There is so much happening behind the scenes that reveal the attention to detail. For example, the daily overview with a map of your progress breaks out runs vs lift rides. Fine, lots of apps do that. But Slopes shows you an elevation profile or your heart rate over time. And it even identifies the names of the lifts ridden! Small detail for sure, but still cool. Suggestions. 1. The Apple Watch app UI is too delicate and dainty. I’d prefer to see number of runs as the largest number, not elapsed time. It would be great if you could pick, say, three or four stats, each displayed in the largest possible format (for those of us that wear single vision contacts when riding the pow). 2. The season log book shows elapsed time skiing or total time. But these only resolve to hourly significant figures. That’s too coarse. It should show hours and minutes. 3. Would be awesome if the Apple Watch app could read your current stats aloud by tapping on the watch face or perhaps invoking Siri.

Stop looking another tracking app and get Slopes. TL;DR get Slopes if you are interested in any sort of ski/snowboard tracking This is the only ski/snowboard tracking app you will need. Once you download and try it you will be hooked. We used to only be able to know who got to the bottom of the run fastest, and just try our hardest to remember how many runs we did, did we ride Montezuma 3 or 4 times before lunch, I lost count. Not any more! Every stat you can think of is tracked, lift time and line time, actual riding time, speed, distance, altitude, runs, heart rate (with Apple Watch), gps map of your runs, 3D map of your runs, and some many others. Now you can see exactly how many runs you did and who is getting to a higher speed during the run! I was able to pinpoint exactly how fast I was riding when I crashed and dislocated my shoulder (39mph), but don’t tell my wife. On top of the already awesome app, it keeps getting regular updates! I thought to myself, it would be great if the Apple Watch app tracked heart rate, not a month later it was added. Then I though it would be cool if you could see a graph of this, again a month later that feature was added. I don’t have any more ideas but I’m sure something else I love is coming.

Awesome App and User Support. Been a long time user of this tracker. Love the replay option and the number of stats its tracking. Also love the fact that it’s not tied to any ski pass so I can track my season no matter which pass I buy. Had an issue one day where It didn’t record anything and contacted customer support who walked me through recovering it (Thanks Sara!). Only occurrence over multiple seasons so not worried. Random wish list to make this app even more awesome: fun features like unlocking achievements based on stats, number of resorts visited, etc. Also a big fan of overlaying location markers of friends over the trail map. A group chat with friends skiing together would be useful too.

Awesome, but short of potential. This app fills in a gap that other activity-tracker apps like Strava completely miss. I will continue to use this app as long as Strava does not release a competitive feature. This is because Strava lets me record data from my heart rate monitor, and Slopes does not (*ahem, please imlement this*). In addition, I am continually frustrated by the beautiful map of the world's ski resorts on the app's home screen, as it does not let me open up the map to have a scroll around! That would be an awesome, and easy to implement feature making it easier to branch out and find new resorts to ride. Also, having to pay money to download resort maps? Seriously? I can just save the photos to my camera roll. That's it, Awesome app, but I feel it needs a *pinch* more love.

Simply the best tracking app for winter sports!. I've been using Slopes since 2014 and this app has simply never let me down. Some key features that I love: - Activity recording from my watch, heart activity, stats on your wrist - Replaying a session at the end of the day, with your pictures and your friends recording - Sharing a daily pass with a friend Another thing I love is that the app is updated with new features every other week. Curtis — who seems to be one of the nicest app developers on Earth — not only fixes raised issues as fast as possible, but also manages to add new features so often, always adopting Apple’s latest features: widgets, connect with Apple ID, family sharing, app available on macOS, live activities, etc. And this is not a one of, it's been like this since 2014. I've been recommending Slope to all my friends and family every time I arrive at a ski resort, and will continue to do so. I also recently subscribed to the family plan, because good work deserves to be recognized. Thanks Curtis!

My top skiing priority. You might think I’m crazy that this is the first thing I think about when packing to ski, but it’s true. I love being able to see my stats and have them recorded for each season. I make sure my watch is charged for the night and start the app up every time I go to a resort. No cell service is required for the watch which is even more amazing to me. If there was one upgrade that I think the app could use would be to label each run. You can edit them if it’s a run that was recorded as a lift or if you left it on while driving to get dinner. But I would like to name the runs as the resorts name them or so that my run # compares to my friends. I couldn’t be happier with an app than I am with this one.

Simple to Use. I have used the MC Pass in two different ski areas and it has been seamlessly accepted without going to the ticket window or asking anyone at either resort! It is as if you have a season pass to all of these ski areas!! Looking forward to using it at two more ski areas this upcoming week!! Thank You for such a Great App!!! All the while tacking my ski activity using this Great Slopes App! My friend at Sun Valley turned me on to it and it is fantastic. Great to find friends on the mountain and know your activity for the day and so simple to use! Turn it on once and you’re done! It even has an auto feature to turn on, I have learned!! Well done! Only improvement I can suggest would be to allow manual entry of a missed day for # of runs and even an estimate for the vertical feet skied that day. Thanks and keep up the great work!!

The more I use it, the more impressed I am. It took me a day to adjust but once I got a feel for the app, I started to appreciate it more and more. There are so many thoughtful features like replays or the interactive map or being able to track unofficial runs; but what I appreciate most is being able to find your friends on the mountain WITHOUT having to “create a group” every. single. time. That one less step makes such a huge difference, I can’t even tell you. And to have the choice not to share, if you don’t want to. Well done. Thank you! PS. One feature that would be super helpful is to be able to edit our “end time” in the event we forget to end our session before leaving the mountain. Many of us have accidentally tracked our drives home & our top speed times are ridiculous! 🤣

Issues Retrieving Resort Info. I downloaded this app for my first trip out west thinking it would be nice to track my rides. For the most part, it’s been fantastic at recording my day! You really can set it and forget it for the most part. It’s jam packed with cool features that make it feel like you can “relive” some of your best days on the mountain via the logbook. Note: It’s not worth much without a paid membership, but that’s fine considering it’s the top-rated ski tracking app and you’re getting premium features. I have had a few missed runs/sections of the day, but that’s user error. (Forgetting to pause when switching basins, etc) But I do want to speak on one issue I’ve been having. Sometimes, it’s impossible to pull up resort info. Right now, if I try to search for any resort, no results will be listed. It’s almost as if the app is tying resort searches to your current location or something. I hope it gets fixed soon bc I’d like to bookmark resort pages to ogle over places to consider for next ski season.

Great app, one problem I noticed. So I love this app and use it all the time, but there is one problem that I have ran into multiple times.. its whenever I get near a mountain I ski at, in one certain spot the app starts spamming me with notifications, the ones that are like “you are near a ski mountain, start recording?” it just keeps going and it gives me like 5 notifications per second and it is super inconvenient. I dont know much about what you can do but if its possible, maybe set something like a cooldown timer on the notification, like after you get one of them you cant get another for maybe another five minutes or so? Besides this annoying inconvenience, I love the app and will continue to use it.

Works on my iPhone 6 again!. At the start of the ski season, I tried to use Slopes, but iOS had offloaded it since I hadn’t used it during the off-season. I couldn’t get it to download again and after several tries, finally discovered that it now only works on iOS 13 and up. The developer claims you can keep using the old version, but if you have to reinstall, you can’t get the old one back. Now switching to a competitor that still supports iOS 12. As a developer myself, it’s generally a good idea to support at least the previous iOS version. Update: After the developer contacted me, I was able to reinstall an older version of the app. Apple did not make this easy to find. I added two more stars due to the developer’s prompt response. However, I would still like to see support for at least one iOS version back for new updates. Most apps I checked still support back to iOS 10. Update 2: The developer supports iOS 12 again! Greatly appreciated and definitely noticed performance improvements and less battery drain. Thanks again for making this change!

Fantastic App. This is the premier app for skiers & snowboarders. What really wowed me was all the stats that Slopes gathers. At the end of the day we have total feet of vertical, number of runs, lift time, ski time, top speed, average speed and Slopes accumulates all this data and displays the data in a number of different ways, all of which are practical to review your numbers. I have tried a number of ski tracking apps, none compared to Slopes, but I have been able to transfer the data from the previous apps right into Slopes. Any issues I had and the developer responded within a day and got me back on track. I hope to keep adding vertical to my stats. I’m in my 70s and I can’t believe my mileage, vertical & speed. If you’re not tracking your ski days you are missing out on a lot of helpful information. Top speed: 50.5 MPH Biggest daily vertical: 39,099 Biggest daily distance: 40.0 miles 724 runs in 75 days, skiing a total of 1,087.3 miles and 1,155,661 feet downhill, 3 resorts. Not only that, you can go back and review every run in 3D. Doesn’t get any better than Slopes.

Undisputed Best Mountain App. I started using this app in 2018. I can’t compare it to other mountain apps, but I still wouldn’t switch regardless. It works perfectly with your watch or phone. The best way to review this is to tell you how it works on a typical snow day. 1. I arrive at the lift and open the “Slopes” app on my Apple Watch 2. It automatically knows what mountain you are on, so you just select your activity: —— Downhill: snowboard / skis / telemark skis / monoski /sitski / snowbike / other. —— Backcountry: skis / snowboard / splitboard / other —— Other Winter Sports 3. The app will start tracking your session, and you can put your phone away or cover your watch in your sleeve for the rest of your day. Optional Lunch: If you want to take lunch, open the app on your phone/watch and hit the pause button for a specified time or manually resume it. 4. At the end of the day, you tap the checkered flag, and it will load all your stats for the day. Stats: - # of Runs - Total Vertical - Total Time - Total Distance - Average Speed - Top Speed - Tallest Run - Peak Altitude - Longest Run Extra: if you connect your watch, it tracks your health. - Average BPM on runs - Max BPM - KCAL burned 5. Go home after your trip and open the app to see All Lifetime Stats. You will see the best scores for each category out of all your days on the mountain. BEST APP FOR THE MOUNTAIN

Do better. This app has many great features that are convenient and help you improve. It also helped me quickly find skip patrol for a friend who was injured. However, as someone who is tracking their entire day in the app to monitor speed, mileage, and other stats, the app has a lot of ways to go. There have been multiple times where I go to end my day skiing and the app crashes and then deleted the entire days worth of recording. There is no good explanation for the fact that I can one second see that I skied 17 miles and 16,000ft of vertical drop and then the next second it’s just all completely gone. Where is this data stores throughout the time it’s recording? 8 hours of valuable data shouldn’t just disappear into thin air because the app closes. It needs to be stored locally or in the cloud and save throughout the day. Complete embarrassment of an app that requires an expensive subscription. I’m disappointed and won’t be renewing that’s for sure!

I love this app!. This is my third season using Slopes and I love all the information you can get on a free app. Not only does it break up your day to actual run time and lift time but it gives you average speed and allow you to pause for breaks. It is very easy to use and the support team is great! My only issue with the app is that the calories burned count is confusing to me since it is really high when I compare it to another calorie tracker that estimates calories for down hill skiing. On that app my 1 hr and six minutes of actual downhill ski time in 3 hours of being on the hill was 306 cal while slopes said I used over 518 calories. That is a big difference! Last year I spoke with Kelly on the support team to try to understand it and She said they would work on it but it hasn’t changed. Except for that one thing which may not matter to many, it does exactly what I need it to do.

Just keeps getting better. I don’t buy a lot of apps or have a lot of subscriptions - but the developer for Slopes just keeps on adding features and making improvements. Works flawlessly with my Apple Watch, and my 2 kids have burner iPhones i put in their pocket to track their progress. They like to check their stats at the end of the day. There is now an SOS feature added which could come in handy but I hope I never need it. Ive picked up some stickers also and will probably grab a Stealth Tee when i reach the stats marker - would have easily made it last season but it was cut short due to Covid. I highly recommend the app and subscription if you hit the mountain more than a couple times a year.

First Class!. I’ve been a subscriber since the first version of the app and am a very happy subscriber. For the price of a couple hours of a ski lift pass, this app gives all the information about your day’s activities - and then gives historical analysis as well. I’ve never experienced a crash or a freeze - it does what is says it will reliably. The app has frequent updates and uses little power on an Apple Watch. I once connected with the developer to suggest some improvements and got a rapid response (which surprised me!) and the implemented the suggestions in due course. If you’re a keen skier or boarder, this is definitely worth a few of your hard bucks! Worth noting that you can wait your day’s recording easily when you don’t tell the app you’ve finished for the day and jump in a car or bus - this is something you can’t do on Apple’s native fitness app.

Best Sports Tracking App. This app is amazing! Hands down the best sports tracking app and probably my favorite app to use period. Not only does it flawlessly track my ski runs, it is so simple to use. Just show up at the ski area and the app auto-detects where you are, hit start on your watch and off you go. Auto-pauses and auto-resumes when youy stop at the lodge for a bite to eat. Will detect when you accidentally drove off and didn't stop recording. Has weather and maps for many resorts, not just handful of the biggest resorts. Great watch integration. I can keep going, but the best part is how affordable it is. The free version is really good but the developer gives multiple options for the premium version from single day use up to annual pass and they are all an incredible value. Can't say enough good things about this app and the developer keeps making improvements. Support him so he can keep up the awesome work!

5hrs of boarding data lost after app crashes. I’ve used this app for 4 years now and I used to love it. Now they raise theirs prices $5 every year (way ahead of inflation), at this point they’re milking every penny out of their customers, while pushing for auto renewal (trashy dark-pattern). They keep adding more and more features that I don’t use or care about. While the CORE FUNCTIONALITY, recording my runs during the day is completely useless after the app crashes at the end of the day. I’d expect the app to work flawlessly when I pay 30$ A SEASON. But it seems the developer has just become greedy, adding all kinds of feature while ignoring their most basic functionality. Maybe focus on your roots, and make your team lean to focus on what really matter. I won’t be paying for any subscription moving forward. Every year is more issues and disappointments.

Great app, even better developer. I've been using this app for a while and I've really enjoyed it. My kids actually look forward to the chair lift so we can look at the stats on our most recent run: how far, how high, and of course, how fast. If you love skiing, you'll love this app. Even better was the most recent update note about removing the Facebook hooks. It seems that every day there's yet another announcement about FB abusing or leaking our personal data, so I'm really happy to see that this developer is taking steps to distance the app (and all of its users) from "that creepy company". I wish more programmers took privacy that seriously. To the developer(s) - you've made us fans for life. No kidding.

Nice ski tracker. I really like this app. It will track your runs, record your speed, elevation, vertical feet skied, etc. It’s fun to see all your tracks at the end of the day. The reasons I gave it 4 stars are because: 1) when I started my slopes session on my Apple Watch, I wasn’t able to see any of my recorded tracks on my phone until I ended the session at the end of the day. With ski gloves and layers of clothing covering my watch it’s not easy to get to it. Anyway it’s a minor issue. I will have to remember to start my session with my phone. 2) the friends feature doesn’t really seem to work. I’ve added a few of my friends I ski with also have slopes and while I can see them in my logbook, I can’t see them in the friends section. I only see myself listed with no one else. Also, when I first reviewed my day sking I could see my friends tracks as well as mine, however, that has since disappeared. 3) it’s more expensive compared to other ski trackers. It might be that other ski trackers are ad supported in which case I can understand the price difference. Lastly, for a future enhancement can you include a trails % grade I’m skiing on? Maybe the average grade and max grade? Thanks for making this app. Looking forward to future enhancements.

Great App. Wish I downloaded this app sooner. I always use Slopes because I thoroughly enjoy beating my last season stats. I also use it as my snow season diary. It’s awesome that the photos I took during my send is automatically attached to my day. I’ve been digging the new features like being able to download maps for offline use and peer recorded weather updates. My only request would be that you can view a trail map of the resort as one of the map layer options when you view your run details. Right now you can only view in winter or satellite layer. I’ve also noticed that some resort maps are only a portion of the resort and not the entire resort. Overall, I think it’s an awesome app and am grateful for all the new updates every season. My partner and I have been premium subscribers for 3 seasons now and we both think it’s totally worth it. Thanks Slopes app!!

This app is god!. Just took this for a full day of sending with some friends and I really like this app. The speed tracker is wicked and I was super hyped when i broke 50mph. The mapping is also amazing, you can see each of the runs you did and the lifts you used. I was also amazing at just how far and high we skied. You would think that the gps recording and speed tracking takes a toll on your battery. It turns out it didn’t really at all! The app uses the gps and speed stats from the Apple health trackers and it’s relatively energy efficient. I started at 89% and on low power mode, with a bit of snap chatting and phone calling my phone dropped to only 56%. All in all I highly recommend this app. It’s made by one rad guy who wants to improve our days, which he definitely has. Also, everything I talked about is completely freeeee! So download this app and enjoy your adventure on the mountain.

The only app you need to go riding.. Coming from a Garmin Fenix device, I missed the Ski/Snowboard activity app built into the watch, I wanted something very similar. I've tried several apps in the last few month and then I cam across Slopes! If you have a cellular Apple Watch this is the only thing you'll need, It doesn't need a phone in order to work. This provides you with all the stats you'd need while riding. It even has the "Lock" feature built into the UI, so there's no accidental touches or pauses while riding. Compairing this app to my old Garmin Fenix the GPS signal and speed match up. I've used mine from 8am to 10pm riding on a single charge. This is the last app you'll ever want to use while riding hands down.

Amazing on any device, paid or free, any trip!. Okay, so I've had this app for about 6m and today I finally got to use it as I haven't been out on the slopes. This app is simply amazing. Not only is it great on Apple Watch. Old iPhones (tried on IPhone 5), and new iPhones, but it's also very accurate on all of them. It got my exact times (times Myself with atop watch) shows you any wipeouts, slowdowns, speeds, and everything you cAn think of. It shows you very single run in 3D mode, and even a satellite view of the mountain, showing exactly on the trail you were at, showing all your turns. That one is a paid feature, but with all the amazing paid features I recommend getting a one day pass. I don't ski often, so it's totally worth it. If you ski at least twice a week, maybe get a liger pass. It's amazing for casual skiing for a hobby like myself, or if your a racer or comp skier. Would 1000% recommend.

Great without friends. While the title might make you think I'm lonely, I can assure that's not the case. The app is great on its own, nice layout, easy and overall a great and engaging experience. The issue comes in when you want to connect friends on it. Me and a friend who have both used the app for a few years on our own became friends however, on the friends page it says that he has no stats whatsoever. This is weird as he has used it for years and it still has all the tracks logged, it's like they just didn't transfer to the friends section. We don't know why his do not appear. They don't appear on my app or his, but my stats do on both. It's not a huge deal and we usually discuss our stats in person, however, it would be nice to see eachothers and frankly it shouldn't have this issue in the first place. Though I have looked through the settings and haven't found anything that would prevent the transfer of his stats though I may be missing something. I hope there is an easy fix and will keep you all updated!

Love this app. My husband and I just started snowboarding and we are just wrapping up our second season. We got slopes premium this year and are loving it. I set a goal for myself to increase my speed and it was so helpful to be able to watch my top speed and average speeds go up throughout the season. It was also fun to compete with my husband about who was faster. (For the record, it’s me 😉) it is also helpful when we split up with our girls and can see where each other are on the mountain. I like to replay my day at the end of the day and see where on the mountain my highest speeds are. We will definitely be using it next year! I have recommended it to several friends already.

Easy to Use and Great Visualizer for Skiing Data!. I found this off of a work slack where people were sharing their skiing trips. You go out for a day (or more!) and record each run. Recording is automatic and the data is useful. But what I really love is the 3D views you can render of the mountain with your runs on it! The AR view is a lot of fun - I love it when apps do fun and silly things like this. There are a number of apps that aggregate your skiing data like this, but this one is just so much fun to use, and it's so pretty! Highly recommend checking it out. I think it's run by one guy (Curtis), and in my experience, small one-person apps are always excellent. :)

Great app, could use one improvement. I’ve been looking for an app to track my snowboarding for sometime now and am really happy to finally find it. Easy to use, GPS based location is great considering other apps I have used can’t lock it down, Strava integration (I don’t like Strava’s on slope recording compared to its cycling accuracy), and Watch integration. All around a good app with some cool features. I’m not a premium subscriber yet as my main riding partner is in a cast and I won’t be going to any big resorts this year, but I am looking forward to using my day pass to try out the features. My one complaint, and this may just be with my Watch itself, is that the Siri integration for Slopes doesn’t work on it. I say “hey Siri, start snowboarding” and the Fitness app pops up. It works fine on my phone, but not on the Watch. Like I said, could be a Watch thing, but I would like the ability to use voice control confidently. Aside from that one hiccup, which is probably just user error, a great app that I highly recommend.

What would Jesse Pinkman do?. I give a 5 star. I was gifted an Apple Watch for Christmas and have been recording as many days on snow as I can. (So far iv got 28 days, 258runs) I really enjoy being able to look back at my day and see each run, even with the free version. I am however very forgetful and sometimes forget to stop the recording and the app records my ride home as a result. I know I can edit those out with the features provided. I wish there was a way for the app to be able to recognize when iv left the resort, and am on main roads, so that an auto stop would activate and auto log while I’m driving. I get that that’s asking a lot for someone who’s lazy and just forgetting to simply hit stop, but i think, in my opinion, that it would make the app better. You’ve already improved in so many ways since the 26th of dec. and I thank you for that! Thank you for a lock, the stop without pause, and the safety features for glade trials.

🔥🔥🔥. Fantastic app for any skiers/snowboarders looking to track their day on the slopes. The data the app gives even without the premium pass is still very cool and helpful. You can view your top speed, longest run length, a timeline of all lift rides and runs with an animation on a 2D map, etc. The premium pass somehow makes it 10x better, with precise lift and run times for each run, instantaneous speeds on any run, a 3D google-earth like view of your day on the slopes, a graph with your heart rate and speed along the timeline, and many other things that would take too long to list here. I would HIGHLY recommend this app, and if you can afford the premium pass, even just for a day or a single trip, I would also highly recommend it. The only issue I have had with the app is the last 90 min of one of my days not recording, which I think was due to me accidentally force closing the app; otherwise, it is absolute 🔥. I almost never write reviews, but this app deserved my time. (Which should tell y’all something)

Fantastic Ski Tracking App. I used this at Mt. Sunapee resort for the first time yesterday. The app is very polished and does exactly what it's supposed to. The Apple Watch version is also very good. I can tell the developer put a lot of thought and care into this project. The app tracks the amount of time you spent going downhill, riding the lift uphill, and resting. It will even estimate calories burned and add it to the Health app. The optional in app purchase model for advanced stats works well. You can use the app without purchasing a pass, but the price for a day is very reasonable and allows you to track more information about your day while supporting the developer for making this great app. I've used other ski tracking apps and this is the best I've used so far by a long shot.

Pleasantly Surprised with Slopes. Great features and UI. This app on the iOS side is robust, stable and cutting edge. I love the feature where you can compare runs with friends. Also love the ability to edit out car time in car between runs, but I wish it would allow you to re-sync with Strava after recorded data from car rides are edited out. It seems that it only does the immediate sync of real-time data to Strava only once after you stop recording. I’ve even tried to disconnect and reconnect to Strava and data didn’t re-sync even after the app asked if I wanted to upload recent activity (‘recent’ isn’t defined). Finally, the synced runs in Strava don’t provide heart data but the developer is working on that with Strava. Overall, though, while the $25 annual unlimited membership seems a bit much I think the $40 family plan (up to 6 in a household) makes it worth it if everyone skis/rides. Again, I love the app despite the cons above because the pros outweigh for sure.

Best ski tracker, no comparison. Works flawlessly. So easy to use, if you go to a new mountain it knows where you are immediately. The data feels very accurate. It’s always within a few hundred feet of epic mix and while I have no way of verifying this I believe slopes to be more accurate. Running slopes all day in addition to music does not significantly affect my battery life. The 3D replay is awesome. It’s cool to see where you were in the trees or off piste when it’s not always obvious. I don’t think the calories burned is accurate as I’ve gotten similar numbers if I’m on bumps vs groomers but this should be fixed with the new update if you use it with Apple Watch and hr. My only wish at this point would be for some sort of leaderboard. Either way this is the best ski tracker app there is.

This app is amazing and has minimal bugs/flaws. I love this app, I find it’s tracking accurate and it’s stats overview is great. It has everything a skier/snowboarder could want. You can just hit go and it’s ready to track at whatever resort you are at and it knows where you are. The Apple Watch companion app is also great and works well. My only complaint is that it kills the battery fast but this is because it uses the gps all day. But slopes solve this problem by having a low power mode option that disables the GPS on lifts or you could buy a third-party battery bank to charge your watch at lunch. Battery should not be a problem with the Apple Watch Ultra though I have the se so battery life is more of a problem for me.

Great and getting better. If you ride with family or friends this app is a must. So much fun comparing your stats in VS mode, seeing where everybody is on the interactive maps. Replaying your day on the 3D terrain. The app ui is easy to use, the stats are well laid out. In the three years I have been using it there have been constant and useful upgrades. It's a winner.

Great app for skiers, with lots of Information. The app is great at showing you where you have been and showing you your bests, and if you have an Apple Watch it links great. It stands out from the others with it’s easy to use U.I and tracking system. It is let down by there being a “premium subscription” that can hinder some of the best features. So all in all great app with one small caveat.

Best Ski Tracking App!. I’ve used this app for several season and tracked my runs in Canada, US and Japan. Read all of the resort data perfectly. Seamlessly transfers data to Strava. I use an iPhone 13 Pro and an Apple Watch 5 currently but previously used an iPone 11 pro and never had a battery drain issue. Improvements also seem to be pretty consistent, each season there’s a suite of new features. The only draw back is the price. It’s an expensive app. Would be nice to get it a bit cheaper and with Family Sharing so my wife and kids could also use it.

Suggestion. This app is incredible in every singe way apart from one. There is no public leaderboard like in SnowZat so I have to use both apps

Pure awesomeness :). This app is great! Set it to record (on phone or Apple Watch) and then just go wherever, it’ll track your routes very precisely! Curtis is also very accepting of feedback and suggestions as well as giving very prompt responses to troubleshooting. Couldn’t recommend any other app more than Slopes!

Easy to use, but to see your runs on a map requires an expensive subscription. Nice looking app and easy to use. Apple Watch is enabled for accurate calories. Expensive premium subscription is required to see you run details on a map......shame.

Integration and usability. Positives: 1 easy to set and use 😊 2 integration with Strava and MyfitnessPal👍 3 even on iPhone screen eligible to read 4 really gives metrics based on ski time, chair T bar time, idle time 5 in run details you customise map and details to be sent via your message App👍 6 like max speed but it can become a fools game as in trying to go faster ⛷ Negatives 1 only one but it really drained the power on Apple Watch 5‼️ in the end I turn off blue tooth and ran the Slopes App on the IPhone only! I could see no difference and my Watch could easily track everything else without running out of power - see no point on the watch as using Bluetooth and GPS off the iPhone kills battery life on the watch🤔

Solid App. Very good app, would highly recommend it to anyone who would want to track their time on the mountain. Easy to use and shows you all the cool and important statistics that you love to see and compare with others. And who doesn’t love the bragging rights of who was the fastest or covered the most distance?

Best Ski Tracking App and I’ve tried them all. This does everything you need in a snow sport tracking app. It doesn’t use much battery, gives great stats and excellent map overlays. Great for sharing and attaches photos. Keep up the great work!!

Slopes. It’s great! It is amazing for safety, because you can track family and friends and call patrol. I enjoyed comparing runs with others.

Slopes. This app is amazing and does so much more than just track runs, speed, etc. the family sharing subscription is awesome now as we are on a family ski trip. Don’t hesitate just buy.

Such an awesome app. Slopes is so fun to use on the mountain, track runs, see your distance covered and stay connected with friends who are also snowboarding. I found the customer support staff super helpful too - quick and responsive when I needed them. Awesome app!

Battery saver. Just used the app and it’s awesome tracking all day long without killing the battery. Great statistics and could not pass up the daily passes for 3D and detailed analysis. Buy it now before you hit the slopes.

Great App. Love this app. Fantastic for skiing with family & friends to compare runs etc. love the feature of being able to review on the ski map for the resort what you have done. Doesn’t use much battery. You can leave it running all day. Wouldn’t ski without it. Highly recommended

Awesome dev team doing great work. Adds some sorely needed workout metrics to the Apple Watch. Also really love the offline resort maps and built-in forecast details

AMAZING TRACKING APP. A highly effective ski tracking app that has all the features you would ever want. It’s efficient, effective and works very well with others. Would highly recommend as your primary (and only) ski tracking app that you need

Best skiing and boarding app out there. I absolutely love this app and have been using it for five years now. In hindsight feel a little bit guilty for not leaving a review before now…. Slopes accurately records a heap of data about your day on the slopes - exactly where you’ve been, when, and with whom - plus all the good stuff like how fast and how much vertical. It also integrates with your fitness data and the Apple Watch, and with any photos you’ve taken. This app is an integral part of our ski trips now. We love sitting down at the end of the day to replay each run and to compare/compete with each other. The app is constantly being improved and seems to be getting better every year. Battery life is not a problem, even with it running all day. Support seems to be pretty awesome too. I recently raised a request about a minor issue and a helpful lady called Emma responded the next day; problem solved! 😄

So easy and actually works. Just one tap and it tracks the whole day. Doesn’t burn your battery so it can be run the whole day and legit works without wifi or cellular.

Great Information. Low battery drain. Love being able to compare with friends. Used this app on a recent trip to the snow. Battery drain was excellent. iPhone 13 Pro Max and had about 70pc left at end of day. Took some photos and videos through the day too

Fully Legit. love slopes, I’m an avid snow ski and boarder and have been using slopes premium for 5 years. love everything about it from the detailed run stats to competing with friends. Great app, uses hardly any battery, very easy to use, great 3d view. well done slopes team looking forward for the years to come

Sensational game changer. I am a very average 56yo skier and even worse navigator in the mountains. I often worry I will lose the group I am with. I used the app today for the first time and it was sensational. I could see where my family was at any given time. I could ski a little slower and be confident I would find them again. It was also fun to see my stats and compare them to my sons’. Slopes works very well and the user interface is fantastic. Curtis what an amazing app. Thank you!

Can’t do without Slopes. Used Slopes during an 5 day ski trip. It was awesome and the level of detail from speed, terrain coverage, rest duration, whether I was skiing or taking it easy, is excellent. Keen to try the premium version!!

Sensational. Quality product developed with great thought put into every new feature. The only situation I can imagine where I would use a different app is if I hit a tree and suffered a traumatic brain injury of such magnitude that I could no longer make logical, reasonable decisions.

Love skiing - this is for you!. Downloaded and started using Slopes, really useful and provided a lot of detail about my day! Also got the yearly pass and am so impressed with the extra metrics and ski history. All in all an awesome app that all skiers should be using...

Fantastic app. This app has everything you could want to track your runs. Thoughtful monetisation and great features. Highly recommended!

It’s no good if you can’t see it.. The tech seems fine and the data and statistics are what I would like to see BUT I can’t see it! Slopes only works with iWatch and iWatch has to be worn against your skin. So to see your max speed at the bottom of a run, you have to pull your glove half off and slide your sleeve up to be able to see your data. I’ve been wearing wrist mounted GPS since 2004 and they’ve all been worn on the outside of my jacket so I can see the data at a glance and without freezing my fingers off. The only way this system will ever be any good will be if you can hear the data since you can’t see it. An ever increasing number of people have Bluetooth speakers in their helmets so the system could be programmed to say ‘30’ when you got to 30 kmh and then ‘40’ and so on. Or maybe you could set the system to announce your speed every 20 seconds. Then when it senses you stopped at the bottom, it could announce Max Speed, Average Speed and Distance travelled or whatever other stats you set it to say. Anyway, right now, it’s close to useless if I can’t see the data without having to wrestle with my clothing in the lift line.

Worth its weight in snow. Using the app so easy Start and forget but clocking your stats i find so helpful to keep pushing myself and get more out of the mountain. I love the offline maps - and with the ability to add notes to each run it will help when i return to my favourite resorts. I still had to go outside the app for more detailed snow reports but i think where the app is heading it is to be the one stop shop for all my ski/boarding knowledge and own performance. Look forward to using some of the friends features. Thank you.

Fantastic App. Tracks the day’s activities perfectly using the watch, easy to see run by run information. It’s not even a drain on battery

Outstanding. Great way to track your runs providing a good amount of data and stats. Love comparing to those you hit the slopes with.

Brilliant. Loving this app. I'm 13 and this is my first skiing trip, and an app like this really helps me keep track of how I'm doing with speed, and other things. Really smooth, and I was surprised about how it kept track of when I was doing my runs, and when it knew I was on the lift. Overall I think there's not many improvements to make.

Constantly gets better. Tracked runs in Australia and Hakuba, Japan with Apple Watch 4 and iPhone 11 Pro. Both have plenty of power left even after tracking a day of runs. Before you go to the snow you can set reminders to start the app when you arrive at specific resorts. Great when you get caught up in the excitement of finally getting back on to the snow again so you don’t forget. Tracking seems to be quite accurate. Detects when you are on lifts, waiting and snowboarding/skiing. Great to see the best runs of the day. Keeps a logbook of all of your runs of the season. Have imported GPX logs from Garmin Oregon of older trips. Required some editing within the app to determine what were runs and what were lifts in the track. Worked well. I’m on to my second annual subscription. The developer is constantly updating the app which is visible in the Version History. Other tracking apps seem to get mothballed by their developers. App looks great on the iPad to nerd out on your runs later.

Smart app. Fantastic app, one of those rare apps that actually makes sense with the watch integration. Used the watch to control the day, then the phone to review later. Tracked my day at coronet peak amazingly well, showed me where I was slow, where I was fast and a raft of stats. The 3D view is swish. Price is kinda steep, but it's less than a single piece of sushi in Queenstown...

Great app but paywall is steep!. The app provides a great record and interesting insights. That being said the premium paywall is very steep! If I could earn access though social media shares that would be great and I’d promote the app but as it stands, I don’t see value in the premium pass. So I can only rate it based on the features available to non paying users.

Beginners Helper.. As a beginner Snowboarder, I’ve been using slopes to track my runs so I can keep a record of the progress I’m making it’s great the way it can automatically detect the difference between being on a run or on a lift, and it adds to your daily workout to boot.

Amazing!. This app is amazing and can help keep you updated with friends! It's also good for some family competition!

Great App!!. App work great. Would love to see a feature to be able to search for overseas ski parks to plan runs before I go on holidays. Currently in Australia and heading to Japan for snow season, so, when I search for a Japanese ski park a pop-up notes “Far, Far away”. Would be great to at least see the park runs.

Gets better every time you open it. Slopes is constantly improving with new features you didn’t even know you wanted. Great app for keeping track of your time on the mountain and reflecting on the best days. The snow rating (predicting) feature is super useful and I like how you can group trips! Great free app and a good deal if you go paid.

Data recovery. Emma helped me recover unsaved data after my phone had shutdown. Fast reply’s, polite, and easy to understand guides. Very happy with how the app has worked with me and the snow season. 10/10 would recommend 🔥🔥

Great for skiing with friends. When skiing with friends and family it can show the location of friends, as well as their stats compared to you.

Latest version is amazing. I just used the latest version of this app (on iOS11) for the last days of the Australian Ski season. Honestly; it’s awesome. Start the app via the watch, auto detect resort and away you go. I start the app in the morning for first runs, I control my music via the watch, I pause for lunch then resume for the remainder of the day. On iPhone 8 I had around 65% battery remaining by end of day (approx 5-6 hours riding). Love it! Thanks a million!

Slopes. Great app I luv it I have my family on it three sons great to compare runs etc highly recommend this app got your next ski trip RJE147

Reliable, useful and always improving. This app is great. We use it as a family in Australia and overseas. The features increase any season and on the rare case you need supports it’s fast, personal and thorough.

Slopes. Awesome app! Have used it for 7 years. Great data, syncs well with Apple Health. I had a couple of minor glitches early on and the team are always quick to respond and correct. Go Slopes!

Great snowboard app. Benefit is that you can use it with one off payments without having to have a subscription

An essential tool each season. As a new snowboarder I wanted to track my progress each season. I’m now in my third season and this app continues to provide exactly what I need and more! Great value and the latest updates are brilliant.

The best app for skiers and snowboarders. What an app. Simply the best for data tracking, great Apple Watch integration and the pricing (annual season pass) model is fantastic. Seems expensive, but then it’s no more than a couple of shots of schnapps on the mountain. Battery life/usage is very optimal, and more importantly, it’s actively supported and developed. I’ve tried a few others but this is the only one you’ll need.

Awesome skiing all. Really great skiing app! Some more features I would love: - more regular updates of friend location (or live refresh, if I close the app and open I get the new location but if I just keep hovering in them it doesn’t move) - interactive maps for where I was skiing (Gastein)

Best recording for snowboarding &skiing. Slopes is a amazing app because it is well build and does not show any ads every second(no ads). Definitely give it a try and it will push you to your true potential.

Slopes. This app could not be better. So easy to connect with your friends and see each other’s stats. 10 out off 10

Easy to use, great features & doesn’t drain Apple Watch battery!. What a great app! I can track my runs all day on my Apple Watch (whilst carrying my iPhone). Love it and wish I found it sooner!

Great app. We have this a try and it worked out well.

Great. Great app! A need to have if your a skier 👏🏻

I love the tracking it works great. Great app

Data Disappeared. I recorded a whole day of snowboarding at Blue Mountain yesterday and it disappeared from the app.

Best thing that happen to ski. Best thing that happen to ski since snowboard.

Don’t ride without it!!. Awesome to look back on your seasons and compare your stats to your friends.

Tons of info. Great stats

Love it!!. We can see where we all are on the mountain. Makes it easy to coordinate meeting up. Also it’s awesome to compare our runs, speed and other stats in order for one of us to have ultimate bragging rights!! Also it let us see that my husband crashed on a green run and not a double black run like he tried to claim. 😂😂

Slopes !. Great app! Able to track everything on this hill and most importantly seeing family & friends on the hill

Too easy to lose a day’s data. This app drains an Apple Watch in six hours. My Apple Watch battery died and I found there was no way to pause and save the day’s data. Thinking that I must have started the day without a full watch charge, the next day I ensured the watch was fully charged and at 3:00 my watch died. I left the app running on my phone until I could charge the watch and was able to save the day in the phone but discovered that the app stopped recording my runs when the watch went into low power mode.

Lack of features on IPad. It’s odd that the « resorts informations» features that is available on IPhone is not on the IPad version. It would be nice to have it. Thanks!

It isn’t working like it did last year. I don’t have any analytics at all this year with the updates. I loved the daily analytics I had in previous years. What am I paying for this year without these analytics

Slopes. Wish there was a one time premium purchase

Doesn’t work anymore. Used to be awesome. Leave my phone in the truck and let my Apple Watch do all the work. I didn’t ski last season. This season I tried it twice with the phone in the truck and used the watch and it recorded nothing. Today I brought the phone in my pocket and the same deal, it didn’t record a thing. To bad. It used to be a really good app.

Slopes. Amazing

MUST HAVE APP. I love data and slopes has been awesome. Keep up the work dev team!

A must have for snow sports. You need this app. What are you waiting for??

Definitely give it a try.. Amazing app, use it whenever you go whether it’s a mainstream resort or a small one close by, even if you just go out for one weekend a year. It’s easy to connect to friends and fun to track all of your stats from top speed to peak altitude. Highly recommend.

Best app ever. I can’t wrap my head around how good this app is. It fits everyone’s needs, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. The app has never-ending features and stats to look at after every recording. Curtis, hats off to you! You did such a great job! The snowboarding and skiing community thanks you.

Awesome app for snowboarding. Keeps track of all your stats

The absolute best ski tracking app. Been using this for two years now and it's just the easiest, most complete, and useful tracking app. I absolutely love it.

Love it. So fun to keep track of runs and vertical

Love it. Absolutely love this app, makes it easy to hook up with friends and everyone checks their stats against each other all day long. Makes skiing a competitive sport (for fun).

Great App. I enjoy using it while skiing. Keeps track of all pertinent stats and lets you review them after a day on the slopes . Works as advertised. Very happy, recommend!

Best app!!!. My whole family uses this app and we all can compare stats at the end but the premium is expensive

Great Tracking App. I gave a review on this app a few years ago and thought I would check in again. It continues to be a great and improved app. I do not ski that often so buy for daily use rather than the season. But whenever I do get out I love how it tracks so much. The best part is going home and reviewing the data. If you want to track your skiing data this is a great app. It is probably even better if you get it for the season and track all your data over time.

Unbelievable. This app blows my mind. It’s freakin amazing. Even for casual shredders it’s a fun tool to have and record your runs, aside from being able to look back and find where you hit a gnarly tree line. Recommended to all!!

Awesome app for skiing. Love this great app! Lots of useful features and cool tracking for skiing activities.

The best ski tracking app. I’ve been using slopes for years and it’s my favorite app for ski tracking. I recommend it to all my friends and sometimes the people on the lift who ask me what app I’m using. They are constantly adding innovative features.

Très bien. Vraiment très bien

Great. It’s really good and I used it all march, but the new update keeps crashing as soon as I open the app. This is on my iPhone 7 running iOS 15. Please help

Apple Watch connectivity flakey. Suffered from multiple lost runs/not recording when it looks like it is on the phone. Selection made on watch and just get spinning wheel then app crashes. 5 attempts it looks like it’s going but then randomly quits 3 runs later. Not reliable enough yet to pay for!

Literally the best tracker I’ve ever used. When I tell you this app has no flaws, I mean it. It’s amazing what it tracks even with just the free version. Easy to use UI, simple stats and low battery usage. It’s amazing. Must download

Simply the best. Nothing to say other than get this app! Honestly is the best for tracking on the mountain and just keeps getting better.

The app. I love this app because it helps me track my skiing!

Love slopes. I can’t always ski with friends, but having slopes makes the entire season more fun and connected for my group of ski buds.

Love it!. I’ve had slopes for a few years now and love it. Great app even if you don’t have the premium version.

Awesome Ap. This Ap is really helpful. The stats, maps and speed info is more accurate than my Amazfit watch. I like my watch but it glitches at times showing speed that is humanly impossible. I was glad that I also had the Slops Ap activated so I can actually see if my speed has improved. I wish the vital stats like heart rate, etc would transfer from the Amazfit watch to the Slopes like it does for the Apple Watch, which I don’t have cuz I find it too expensive and the battery life inferior to the Amazfit watch. The Slopes ap is worth having and would recommend it.

Super le fun. Bonne app pour faire le suivi de nos descentes au fil des saisons.

Great app and customer service. I downloaded this app so that my teen and I could keep in touch while skiing. I love the stats at the end of every day. The app is really good on the battery life even when it’s quite cold. I had difficulties transferring the stats to my cell on the third use but the customer service was great at helping me find a solution. I would recommend this app for sure. Edit to add: this year with the updates there are no longer any issues with data transfer. Great job!

Your best on hill App. I have been using Slopes for years and it just keeps getting better. Coupled with an Apple Watch it just quietly tracks your stats (speed, vertical, runs, etc) and makes for an awesome review at the end of the day. What is really impressive is that it doesn’t kill your batteries to do this. After a full day of riding and running it fully coupled it used something like 15%; that’s impressive. Also works as an awesome alternative to carrying around a paper map of the resort which will get wet, ripped, and you need to figure out where you are. If you have friends woth Slopes l on their phone you can also track each other so there’s no guessing where anyone is if you get split up. An essential app on my phone that securely has its place on the front screen. 👍🏼👍🏼

Was coming back after an absence. I had a friend show me that the app was much more reasonable and tried it. I like what it does but it was totally off today after not recording my complete day. It stopped in the morning even though it said it was still recording. I came in for lunch, paused, restarted, and then ended the day, but it only recorded the first 2 hours!

Fun with friends. Really great app. Detects time on runs and chairs. Great statistics. fun with friends

Did not save the day. Was snowboarding the whole day, set a new record, when entered the app to stop tracking and finish the ride, there were no pause/stop buttons or the bottom menu at all. Seemed like a glitch. Reloaded the app and instead of continuing from where I stopped it just discarded the data of the day altogether. This was my premium trial, cancelling it now and deleting the app. No way people pay for this.

Good🙂. Good🙂

Loving everything about this app. It has great statistics, let’s you review your day, tells you how long you spent waiting, on the lift and skiing. It works with my watch and I don’t ski without it.

Detected problem with the app - no response from developer. I detected an issue with the app, contacted twice the developer but non responsive. No service whatsoever

Great to keep track of friends on the hill. This is a great app with well developed features and integrations (Strava). Really like the ability to see where my friends are on the mountain.

What a great App!. I downloaded this App while riding the Chairlift. It has been a ton of fun tracking the runs at our little Ski Hill. Thanks so much!

Please make winter 3D maps.. The app works great. Use it every time I ski. I use it with my Apple Watch and it works great, sometimes is a hard time finding my resort but that’s probably because I don’t get service instead of a problem with the app. Only thing that really needs improvement is the 3D and 2D maps. All the maps are shown in “summer” view. I understand that the app is probably pulling from a google maps satellite view or something similar but the app would be a 5 star if they could make the map view a winter view aka show snow and the runs better. Please please please make this an update. I paid for a season pass and the app is not very pleasant to use because of this.

All was not lost. I had a different ski Trace app that seems to be no longer supported. I thought I lost 8 years worth of data and no way to continue except starting over. Nope! I was able to recover all that data and seamlessly airdrop all of it into the app. This is SOOOO much better then my previous one. I could edit to delete the “runs” i took in the car when I forgot to turn off the app. I could input days that I never turned it on. And now I can see photos from the days I went skiing right in the app. This app is utterly amazing. Purchased the premium immediately. No regrets. Thank you so much!!!

Awesome App. This is a fantastic app! Pros: - easy to use with just the features you need. Not a bunch of extra features that bog the app down that aren’t useful anyway. - even our small ski resorts in North Carolina showed up with up-to-date maps. - the tracking appears to work flawlessly. - we used the app to check speed and number of runs mostly which it made easy. - there are benefits of creating an account but I don’t think you even have to for this app. The problem with most of these apps is that half the group won’t download it because they don’t feel like making an account, signing up for monthly subscriptions, etc.... that is not the case for this app. Most of us downloaded it on the lift and had it running before we got off, which was awesome. - it’s just EASY. You don’t get pop-ups to click through, annoying menus, etc. Cons: - with a group of dudes, the speed tracker will lead to an insanely unsafe contest of trying to one-up everyone’s high speed lol

A must have for any groups of friends who like to compete on the slopes. I love how easy it is to just press a button at the beginning of the day and and the end of the day being able to look at every statistic you’d ever need. It’s also super cool that you can connect with your friends on it and compare at the end of the day. Some major things to know that I really like: -It automatically stops recording on the lift and resumes once you get off very accurately -the app takes statistics from people who have gone before you and so you can see what the snow is like on the slopes before you get there. - if you snowboard or ski a lot during the season the year premium pass is definitely worth the money if you are very competitive with friends or just like seeing what you’ve done. -the app has a map for every major resort along with the ski patrol emergency number in case of emergencies Overall I really recommend this app and how helpful the developers are.

Won’t subscribe when app pushes bad data. I have sent multiple detailed bug reports sent to the dopes at Slopes. I have been a paid user for two years. Slopes cannot do simple integration work with Strava, unlike dozens of other software companies. Yesterday, it doubled the number of runs that I took, pushed two separate “events” to Strava, pushed different events to the iOS Strava app vs. browser and stripped runs entirely from the second post…so essentially Slopes pushed four different files for the same event. Love taking grief for supposedly skiing 54 runs in a day. I use at least 10 other sports apps that push data to Strava. None are remotely as bad as Slopes. If you don’t use your Apple Watch for a day, the app spends forever looking for the watch before it “allows” you to start recording on your phone. Poor investment of my money for poorly implemented software.

Good app baaaad battery. This app is good and does what it says well. The in app purchases are to be expected, but unless you are looking to be obsessive about your user history you will be happy with the basic app. The reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the app says for best results use your Apple Watch for the app instead of the phone, but it absolutely kills my battery on my watch. I am using an iPhone X and a Apple Watch series 5 with out cellular. I have tried all the tips that the developer says to do but my watch doesn’t last a whole day of riding when the app is running. An average riding day for me is about 9-12 runs and about 5-6 hours on the mountain. During normal usage of my watch for workouts I only use about 1/3 of the battery in a day.

It adds so much to my ski day. Slopes has become such an important part of my ski day! My wife and I both love tracking our vertical feet and speeds, looking back on the day to see where we were going the fastest or where our heart rates were the highest. And it’s a joy to have years’ worth of runs logged so I can back and remember, “oh right, that’s the day three years ago when it started dumping snow after lunch!” And the app developer keeps adding more and more features each season. I can’t say enough about this app and its awesome support.

Best tracking app for skiing, 1 caveat. Slopes is fantastic for tracking skiing in bounds at resorts. You can’t beat the stats and the the fact that it keeps track of everything for you. One thing I would love to see added (and is the reason I subtracted a star from 5) is the ability to manually add a day that took place in the backcountry. I forgot to record a few backcountry trips and would like to just add the days manually to my log book. I use the log book feature to keep track of how many days I’ve skied, but it’s missing 4 days since it won’t let me add skiing that took place in the backcountry manually.

Great on Phone, Please Fix Watch Connection. I’ve been using slopes for years to track my runs, stats and it’s great to see what I’ve done over th years. I pay for the premium and it’s worth it to log everyday. The find my friends feature is great when along with a large group and wanna meet up for lunch. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the watch slopes app keeps crashing on me and I loose my runs. The watch feature used to work great, but the last 4 days I’ve skied noticed my watch didn’t catch my first couple runs. Every time I have to stop, disconnect my watch and record thru my phone. Please fix the watch feature! Otherwise great app.

Incredible feature-rich resort tracking app!. Slopes is such a well thought out app. The UI is super intuitive, the Watch interface is easy to use, even with gloves on and shows exactly the information you want to see when you’re on a run or a lift. Battery usage is minimal and easily lasts all day. I took a screenshot of my stats to share with some friends, and the app told me that I could share my stats in a custom data infographic. It anticipated what i wanted to do, and told me how to do it better. That’s a developer who knows their users’ behaviors and workflows. And their customer support is top notch too!

Download every resort app? Not no more!. I feel like it records more accurate data than most of the resort apps. But for me, the fact I can use one app to track all the resorts is great! We ski as a family so we don’t have to keep downloading multiple resort apps to continue to track each other. Now we just use Slopes. Start tracking in the morning and we know roughly where everyone is at. We’ve yet to have an issue with the app. In fact I actually wonder if the resorts use Slopes and just put a different graphic on it.

Fantastic for any day on the slopes. I have come to love Slopes and have convinced all my friends to use it. The app is easy to navigate, consistently tracks throughout the day, and easily allows you to see friends on the mountain. The stats on your runs/day with overlays are fantastic. Being able to show where you went, what your next line will be, and having live updates during storm days are such great features too! Honestly the app is packed with everything you need to track and share your day on the mountain. Over 1.3 million feet tracked and counting!

Fantastic App & fabulous customer service. As a season pass holder I’ve messed with individual resort apps and the ikon app but I love love the slopes app for tracking my activity for health, for having an easy-to-review history of stats and for connecting the photos memories to the day. I did hit a day where the data didn’t store and was very frustrated but the customer service at Slopes was amazing. They sent simple instructions to me and were able to re-link the data in the logs, keeping my season totals accurate. In a tech dominated world of automation and self help, I appreciated the personal responses to fix the issue.

Best Ski App!!!. This is by far my favorite ski tracking app! I have gone through a bunch over the years and last year settled on Slopes. The functionality between the phone and watch is seamless, the data seems quite accurate and the level of stats it provides is impressive. I have recommended this to all my ski friends and we all use it to compare each other’s days on the hill. I can’t say enough good things and hope that any skier or boarder check this app out and make their day on the slopes even better!

so cool!. i have been using this app since 2019. it is one of my favorite things about skiing. i like the apple watch connectivity. it makes it easy to pause and resume ski time (cuz i take a lot of breaks lol). it also allows me to track my speed which i can then compare with my family that also uses Slopes. it makes a competition for us! overall, the data it tracks makes me feel accomplished in my skiing. it would be even better if the app could add a goal feature so i could set a goal for like the number of runs or speed, and the app encourages the user to reach those goals.

Awesome App!. My family and I use Slopes and we love it. The App is easy to use and is pretty accurate for tracking and speed. My family does Apple family share, and we had an issue early in the season with only me being able to buy a Slopes season pass. I couldn’t share the pass either. I reached out to development and was contacted within 12 hours and my wife and son had the season pass on their phones the next day. So not only a awesome app, but A++ customer support. Looking forward to new features and improvements for next winter, like maybe being able to edit out your lunch break when you forget to pause. Tony

Everything You Could Ever Want. This app is fantastic and it keeps getting better every year! I love the stats, I love being able to compete with friends, I love the maps so I don't have to deal with paper ones on the lifts, I love being able to see where the heck I went (great for when I can't remember what I skiied, but I want to do it again), and I especially love that Curtis, the developer, listens to user feedback and keeps making Slopes better! Everything I need for an amazing day on the mountain is all in one place. I don't know how I ever managed without it!

Perfect for hitting slopes, efficient customer support. I’ve been using this app for three years now, works perfect for me even without premium. I do pretty much everything about snowboarding on this app, from checking mountain maps to recording activities, and sharing status with friends. I never had a problem with the app until this week, it missed a run I had. I sent the issue to the support team, and within 3 days they replied and helped me got my run back, efficient and effective, really appreciate it. Get this app if you’re heading to your next snow trip.

One of my favorite apps on my phone.. I'm on season three of using Slopes. Two years ago I tried out four or five different apps, and chose this one because it had the best mix of features and great apple watch integration. The developer does a great job of updating the app all the time, adding cool new features. Half the reason I went skiing two days ago was just to see what was new this winter with Slopes! The yearly subscription is a great deal, but the individual day passes work well, too. I really like being able to share a day pass with my wife, too, since she only skis about once a year.

10/10 in my book!. From something simple like tracking speed all the way to the dynamics of sharing runs/location with friends Slopes has it all and hits every point right on the head! This is my third year using it and I can confidently say I have zero regrets. The features of a premium account are definitely worth the small cost (less than a fraction of a ski trip in the first place) I love the constant new features, dynamic slope maps for all sorts of resorts, sharing with friends, and all the more it has to offer! I’ll be keeping Slops for a very long time. 👍🏻

Good all but I expect more for the premium price. One major thing this app does better than ski tracks is auto pause. Ski tracks gives you run by run stats for $1 for life, this app is $19 for season. Is it worth it? Well I bought the 19 dollars and still have to use ski tracks since there is no watch complication for slopes that show stats like ski tracks. I like to see my stats on the watch face and have them stay there till next visit to the mountain. Also it is impossible email support. For $19 I would expect to be able to email someone. There are few bugs around doing two activities at the same day. Arrival notifications having no awareness that watch is already recording and few more issues.

Fun app for tracking runs. A really great and slick app for tracking your ski runs. Been using it this season with the Passes, and I’ve really enjoyed checking out my stats. Sometimes the GPS can be a little finicky and miss a run (although it might be due to my phone) but for the most part seems pretty accurate. I did have one issue on one trip, but the developers responded quickly with a fix. Also super helpful that you can start, stop, and view tracking from Apple Watch. Health integration is nice as well. Highly recommended app.

Awesome app. If you’re looking for a app to track all of your winter activities then this app is awesome. It has so many inclusive skiing and snowboarding options. The base plan is completely free, but you can buy a premium membership that allows you to track your fitness and other small features. You don’t need the premium membership to enjoy this app. Me and my family, and friends each have this app, so we love being able to go out to the mountain together and see who gets the highest stats, using the comparison feature. Overall a very great app that’s very easy to use.

“Set it and forget it” simplicity, great watch UI. Love this app - it’s thoughtfully-designed and well-coded (easy on the battery, does a great job recording, and no glitches). Lots of smart little details that seem to appear when you first think of them and need ‘em - like the ability to trim recordings - without a cluttered UI. Lots of utility in the free version, no annoyances like ads or pushy promotion of paid features. (Your first day’s recording has all the bonus bells and whistles unlocked, so you have a good sense for whether the paid extras are something you want.) You can tell it’s crafted by a dev who knows all about the gnar gnar and iOS both. 🎿🏂

Amazing app, independent Dev, perfect privacy. Hey! While everything in this industry has been absorbed into the mighty Vail corporation this app hasn’t, and it's amazing. I love that this application just “exists” - you don’t have to buy a seasons pass to use it. Support independent business in the Ski industry and use this app. Features that are awesome? It tracks your runs in 3D, the independent Developer has implement some impressive augmented reality features. This thing runs (ski) laps around the competition and I use it to track every run. The integration with Strava is awesome. It also always knows how to match where I am. Get this app, buy the subscription, and support this sort of innovation. It’s perfect.

Love the app!. I loved the app! It is so cool because I always wondered how fast I’m going and how many runs I do when I go snowboarding. I got this app specifically for tracking my speed and discovered so many other perks! I love watching every time I go down a slope on the map and seeing what every run is like. If I could make a change it would be to zoom in on the map of the trails. It can look so small and the likes can jumble together but it’s not a huge deal. One thing I’d say is to make sure your phone is at 100 percent or low power mode because the app drains the battery while it is running

Super fun app!. I downloaded this app so that I could track skiing in the Health app because without it, my Apple Watch didn’t recognize skiing an activity, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how cool and fun the app is! I purchased the family plan and invited my wife. At the end of the day when we were looking at the runs and exploring the app we found that we could replay the day and actually see where each of us was on the map throughout the day. Lots of other interesting data is captured. I must be a kid at heart, because I kept trying to up my top speed record. This is probably my favorite app ever.

Great app. I love this app, the free version has more than enough features to satisfy the average skier/rider and the ability to pay a little to get even more is awesome. When I had a question they responded about as promptly as you can except a company to over Christmas weekend. The ability to compare your stats against your friends is awesome. I make all my ski buddies download it before we hit the slopes so I can compete with them in the rankings. It is very easy to edit runs and lifts so that you can get the most accurate day you possibly can.

Awesome App Just Can’t Get VR. This app is outstanding. My only complaint is that I can’t get any AR images/video (unless it’s not the AR I was expecting). Every time I try to get AR I get a request to subscribe - which I have now done 4 times for a cost of $32 and now have 20 passes purchased (I had originally paid for the 5 pass deal to see how this app works). Honestly, for someone who only skis about 5 times a year I guess I won’t be renewing for 4 years. Hopefully nothing happens to the app in that time. It’s unfortunate the app doesn’t clearly explain what you paid for or how many times. Great app just one big blemish.

Can’t live without it. The App is fantastic! I really could live without it but it sure wouldn’t be as fun. I don’t use it to compete or compare against others. I really just like being able to track what I have done. It is extremely accurate. Downfalls - updates are often and when they occur sometimes I don’t activate the App correctly. When I told my kids this they laughed- apparently it is the fault of the 60 year old user, not the program! If you enjoy tracking progress you will love this App.

Simply the best app to track you winter sports activities!. Curtis — who seems to be one of the nicest app developers on Earth — not only fixes raised issues as fast as possible, but also manages to add new features so often, always adopting Apple’s latest features: widgets, connect with Apple ID, family sharing, app available on macOS, etc. And this is not a one of, it's been like this since 2014. I've been recommending Slope to all my friends and family every time I arrive at a ski resort, and will continue to do so. I also recently subscribed to the family plan, because good work deserves to be recognized. Thanks Curtis!

LOVE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS APP!!! The only trouble i've had with it, is if I forgot to turn it off and I had already left the ski resort so it didn't count anything, which was an user error in my part. But besides that this app just keeps getting better and I love that you can use it with friends and compete against eachother! To summarize this I love this app, and I think you should just go for it and test it out! PS: I forgot to mention, there is also a premium membership for extra stuff! I just use the free version and I think it's amazing, I can't say much tho because I haven't used the premium. I still use the free version and I love it!

Best tracking app I’ve used!!. I have tried several different tracking apps and have been disappointed by most. Slopes is the only one that I have continued to use over the years due to its accuracy and they have never asked me to spend money. I bought the season pass this year and have been impressed by the added features. I plan on continuing to use slopes for years to come. I am now on my third year using the app and the only thing I can add is he developer has continued to release updates and improvements to the app every year. Still highly recommend after 3 years of use.

Nice app, but kills my batteries. I like the app well enough - and I like the UI and displays way better than the one competitor app that I’ve used. However I had to take it off my Apple Watch because every time I used it, my watch battery was dead by noon. I don’t really understand this, because the watch is still using the iPhone for data tracking and a cell signal, but the app is consistently killing my watch battery, so I ditched it there. Besides that, it generally works fine. I’ve had a few issues with forgetting to unpause after lunch or with it failing to record despite a strong cellular signal.

Amazing and very useful. We downloaded slopes a few years ago and immediately loved it. We turn it on every time we ski, and it’s just amazing. It’s fun to see your runs and all of the data it’s collected. And, the premium isn’t necessary. We had it without a premium for around a year, and when we got the premium we were surprised by the price. It’s $50 a year for families! And it comes with nice features, too. It’s fun to add your friends, also, and compare your vertical, distance, and especially speed (which the kids and I always compete for!). Overall, great app. Worth the download.

This is the app if you want to track your skiing. Absolutely the best ski tracking app I’ve ever used. The interface is thoughtful, the tracking works well, and the built in social sharing cards are attractive and easy to use. Like any tracking app, it occasionally loses position for a little bit, but Slopes makes it easy to edit runs or pull them in from a friend’s tracks. And Slopes had no problem pulling in data from older tracking apps, so all my previous tracks are right there too. Great app, and well worth the premium payment.

Unsure if I did something wrong….yes user error. Editing because it was my error in an input. Once I changed the input information, it gave me the information I was looking for. The season is now over, so will definitely subscribe next time. Would love to see my progress. I used my slopes app for the first time today. It only logged me as 1 for about 2 hours worth of snowboarding. I thought maybe I need to stop each time I got to the bottom, but the app says it detects lifts. I only got recorded for 2 runs and 10 minutes of boarding and 2 1/2 hours on the lifts. I feel like maybe I did something wrong, but I’m not sure what.

Not Sure of Accuracy??. Recorded downhill ski yesterday on Apple Watch 7, latest iOS. Slopes said I did 10 runs, 30 miles, 30k’ vertical. Friends on similar runs (we overlapped, same area of Breck) used other apps and theirs showed 22 runs, 30 miles, 25k’ vertical. Another showed 16 runs, 20 miles, 23k’. So theirs are vastly different from mine… none of us were together, so I know we did not do the same amount of runs…but how did I have the least amount of runs but *most* amount of feet and miles? Hmmm. I’ll manually count my runs on next ski and see if they are different from what the app shows. Something is off somewhere though that is for sure.

Works great. I’ve never felt the need to use an app like this but occasionally I’ve wondered how much skiing is 10,000’ or 20,000’ in a day or how fast we’re we going. I participated in the 100,000’ challenge which was fun and compelling and might keep the app around. It works great, seems to be accurate, syncs with other services (which is annoying on Strava) and has Apple Watch integration (which I eventually removed). No additional battery drain was a nice surprise. I’m looking forward to using this with other skiers to see each others location on the mountain.

Love it!. The premium pass adds another level of enjoyment to my snowboarding life. Objective and accurate information about my time spent on the hill along with the ability to look back in time to compare and remind oneself of past adventures make this app my favorite. While I don’t “share” info at this point I can see the value that this feature adds. I especially like the abilty to delete runs/lifts for those days that I forget to turn off the app until I am home and only then realize that my drive back the cabin was included in my recording. Simple fix now to remove that from my stats. Thanks for a great product and customer service!

Yes. You’re looking for an app to track your skiing and keep it all in one place for you. This is the one to get. Not only does it work great, works on my Apple Watch, tracks your top speed for how fast you were going, etc, but also the developer team is so active and is always making the app better. Only issue I have is that it drains my watch’s battery quickly, but I imagine there’s no good way around that, and I’m sure there are a few things you could do to make it last longer. But make no mistake, this is the one.

Truly Impressive; Tons of Clever Features!. This app does everything I could have wanted, and more. The app does SO many creative and actually-useful things. The first few days using this app were like, “WOW look, it does this! It does that! What a cool feature!” Over and over again. Live friend-tracking. A playback of your entire days route, side by side with friends and family. Speed, altitude, distance data. Photo mapping. Health data. Trail Maps. Satellite maps. Condition reports. So so many features I can’t even begin to list them all here but those are some cool ones to begin with.

simple to use app helped me get my personal best. This is an amazing app, the UI is minimalistic while skiing, displaying your stats for the last run and fastest run. At the end of the session it displays every data point imaginable except acceleration. I could see my speeds along each trails, superimposed on top of the resort trail map. The app records what time everything occurred so you can easily import that data into your GoPro video. Finally, this app helped me challenge myself like never before, trying for faster speeds and quick turn arounds. I do wish the app displayed your avg speed per run and per day.

Best App for Tracking Skiing. Truly impressed with this app. Used it for a recent trip to Breckenridge and not only did it track my on-mountain activity, but accurately tracked my activity using Apple Watch. It accumulates tons of information and beautifully displays it in 3D maps and raw data. Just a note: Sometimes when starting and ending your day using the Apple Watch, the information doesn’t automatically make it over to the iPhone app. Was able to remedy this with the help of support (they responded within a day) by restarting both my Apple Watch and iPhone. The ski day’s information popped right in once I reopened the iPhone app.

BEST Skiing App. I’ve been using Slopes for the past 3 years now, and it has been a necessity on the mountain. This app has such an easy and beautiful interface, and it neatly summarizes your recorded data. Slopes does a phenomenal job at recording my runs, and provides a detailed analysis at the end of the day. The personalization of the app is unparalleled. It is so well integrated with the ski resorts that it can detect which lift and trails I am on. I love this app, and I would recommend it to anyone with a love for winter sports. Of the many apps I have used before, slopes crushes the competition. Nice job, Curtis!!

Amazing Customer Support. Initially my slopes app would crash any time I tried to open it on my new apple watch. I tried a few different things to fix it with no success so I emailed the support team. I received a personal email back within 24hrs with an idea on how to fix it. Their first suggestion didn’t work so I replied to their email saying so and they suggested I uninstall the Watch app on my phone and reinstall. It fixed the problem immediately and I am so amazed by the responsiveness of their team. The app works perfectly now, tracks my runs, calories, times etc. 10/10!

Great App! Very Informative!. Loving this app! This was my first year getting back into skiing after many years off the slopes, and Slopes has been a really fun and informative way of tracking my performance. I’ve used it twice and the second time, the app was not able to find my mountain when I was setting up (GPS signal issues, I think) but it found the resort when I closed the session for the day and still did a nice job of overlaying my runs on the 3D map. Full disclosure, I’m not too familiar with how this app stacks up against others, as I’ve been happy with it and haven’t found the need to shop around. Would recommend this to anyone!

🔥. This app is totally awesome. It has everything you need to have a perfect ski day, and has the app developed on the Apple Watch. I use my Apple Watch every day when I ski, and it's just perfect to be able to click record on your watch while on a lift or skiing, too. The app is easy to navigate and is super fun to look at at the end of the day. I also really like how you can see your friends on Slopes, and the AR mountain with the tracks your made. Also, the run-by-run stats that you can look at is super fun and easy to help track exactly which runs you skied. Overall, really accurate! Hope you download this sick app! - Reviewer

Best App out there for tracking Skiing/Riding. I’ve been using this app for years now (since 2016) and I feel like every season a great new feature gets added. The run tracking is next level with heat maps on your speed in the different areas, being able to keep track of your friends on the mountain is essential esp when riding with groups of different skill level, and being able to see the conditions reported by other users is a game changer. On top of all this, they give money back to POW. Do yourself a favor and download this before your next trip to the mountains, you won’t regret it!

This App is absolutely Wonderful. First off I don't write reviews on apps. ever. However this app deserves it. It's stats I never knew I wanted but now can't ski without. It creates a competition to see who goes the fastest and who had the longest run or who waited in line the longest and who had the longest down hill. I now make it a goal to ski down as many different runs so my map looks cooler. It's an addiction that has now spread to all of my ski buddies. To the developer of this app. I love you for this. Thanks for throwing in that if I ski at the same resort but stop my recording that you automatically combine them. I love you even more for that. ❤️

Slopes: Ski & Snowboard App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

- Added a battery safety net feature on Watch. If you hit 3% or less battery while recording Slopes will stop recording and try to send the data to your iPhone before your battery fully dies. If you start recording on Watch in low power mode (10% battery or less) Slopes will disable this safety net and trust you know what you're doing. - When starting recording on your Watch via iPhone, Slopes will now warn you if your Watch battery is less than 50% and give you the option to start on your iPhone instead. - Improved our "resort grouping", which helps us track resorts that are connected, to allow us to exclude certain resorts from the automatic renaming that came along with being in a group. Example: Alpine Meadows was being shown as "Palisades." Your recordings will retroactively fix themselves when you update. - If your Watch or iPhone battery dies mid-recording, and you don't charge your device + re-launch Slopes until the next morning, you'll now have the option to recover + save the unfinished recording from the previous day. - If your Watch battery dies and you start a new recording a few days later without recovering + saving that previous recording, when reaching out to customer support we can now grab those unfinished GPS logs from your Watch. - Fixed the memories widget not updating after a trip is over. - Fixed (hopefully, because TiMeZoNeS) upcoming trips sometimes showing as off by one day for the start or end. - Fixed (hopefully, because TiMeZoNeS) the memories widget and logbook showing "0 days" for a trip. - Fixed the order of trip destinations not following the set itinerary dates. - Fixed runs and lifts not showing up on iPad when replaying on the timeline.
