Incredi-NOT. As many others have mentioned, there is no longer a scan option for the toys that advertise games if scanned. I purchased an Incredibles toy today and on the box it advertises the app and all the items that can be scanned for games. First, the items (apples, Go-Gurt and milk) advertised at the menu board and happy meal box with scanners were not labeled as such. They were all regular with no scanners or Incredibles characters as advertised. The toy also is unable to be scanned (even though the happy meal website says it can be done). Lastly, the app states the new update includes the Incredibles games and although we are updated there are no Incredibles games at all. Disappointing-false advertising all the way around-I'm sure Disney wouldn't be happy with such a flop with their movie attached to your product.

Scan toy??. Does anyone know how to scan the your toy on this app because I got a toy from McDonald’s and I got this thing that said download the app scan your toy and have fun with new games. Well I don’t know how to scan the toy I can’t find it anywhere. Otherwise the game is really fun! I would recommend this app!! Have fun thank you🙂

I love it!. Okay so I got this app and it’s pretty great so far! my little brother and me have played it for so long! Oh and the games are so fun! My little brother loves them! I also love that it gives you ideas for building stuff and making stuff. Thank you for making this app!

Its more for kids under the age of 6. I recently got a small stuffed animal frog from a happy meal my step dad wanted something small to eat so he got a happy meal the stuffed animal was good but the app is more of a kids thing I was only curious about the app and I am 23 years old it said you can scan toys from McDonald’s so I did and all it was is a level or small add on as you call it it even gave me something that was The complete opposite of what the toy was it gave me a dolphin level instead of a frog level which would’ve made more sense that is all i have to say about this app

The game is so fun!!!!!. Like my little sister plays this every day so like when I'm at school she climes in to the art room and takes my phone off the charger and scans her little circle and she collects them even if that on the street and goes back home and scans them every day it's her favorite app!!!!!!!!🖼

Great for little kids but.... Normally I play this game every time a new movie comes out because of the fun art mini-games but the updates...I have to wait longer than I thought. Plus could you bring back music and the engineer stuff? I would like that and my 2-year-old brother would too. Right now there’s only updating art...fun activities...scan the smile and virtual face masks. Please bring them back!!!! 🥺🥺🥺

Ok so this game I deleted but it is a great app at first I thought it was great but it was horrible but now I’m 8 I just love this game I don’t have it yet but I’m going to download it rite now but please don’t make me see eney more of these review unless it is more then 2 stars and something you like about it please.

It’s a hit. Both my kids love this app (7 & 3) they play it on their iPads for a good hour before they move on to the next app. The best thing is that it doesn’t need internet in order for them to play and there is so many different games they can play. We’ve never had problems with crashing on either iPad.

A good game. This game keeps my child quiet and occupied while I do my work we get McDonald every Friday so we can play on this app but every app has it’s down sides, the game is slow on my child’s tablet, but it’s probably a me problem, although it’s slow it a really good game to drawing silly face filters and music and you can decorate your own happy meal. My child just loves it! There’s puzzles books and a scanner I really suggest you download this game, your child will love it❤️

You should put the other games back in like the space jam a new legacy and all the other games, not just one game please put all the other games back in. 2. Put more activities to find. Where is the “scan my toy” and all the games from previously scanned toys?. The “scan my toy” option is missing with the latest update to the app. There is too much useless interactive (and advertising) icons that have been added to the app. It’s not as kid-friendly especially as my son loves the app for the “scan a toy” games. Also, where are all of the games from previously scanned toys? My son loves the McPlay App and scanning his Happy Meal toys. The app used to allow users to swipe left/right between downloaded games of all previously scanned toys. Have all of the games been deleted? If so, why the change? I find it a waste of time to download the app and scan toys if the downloaded games aren’t stored for users to enjoy for the duration of app download. Updates should not delete collected games. This latest update is horrible! I would like to see the McPlay App return to its previous form of more (scan toy to download) games and less boring activities (i.e. McDonald’s version of Playskool’s Mr. Potato Head)!

It’s ok. I like the app but it dosen’t do much. Yesterday I got a happy meal with Jurassic world Camp Cretaceous on it but I still don’t know how to use it like where is the scan the toy thing or I’m just late maybe you guys can update this app that have the collection of all the game you guys put in it and maybe you can search the topic that you have in your happy meal toy or something

So I scanned a book just to see if it would work and I thought that it would read the book to you just because you know little kids are the ones using this app but instead of just told me that I unlock a new instrument. This app is fun I guess but it just doesn’t work what do ever. Another thing is that I got a McDonald’s you that my sister got from McDonald’s and I scanned it throbbing that you know we could play with on the game but nope still the same thing I unlocked an instrument. For I rate the app 1 star. It would be amazing if you guys could actually fix the app because my sister loves to read and I thought that it would read to you. I expect an upgrade!😡

Pretty good game!!!. I like this game because even when you don’t have a McDonald’s toy or food there is still something to do my brother always tries to steal my phone because he wants to play the Mcplay app!But I got to tell you some of the games are challenging right now the toy is Star Wars and it actually is challenging me!And then there is the easy games last time it was frozen 2 which didn’t even have games really!but then I ❤️ the face changer they are so fun when you have friends over!!So overall I think you should get this game.👍

Downloaded App and already it says App is updating. I don’t think the creators of this app thought things through. The app would be a great one if it actually worked as soon as you download it. Looking back at reviews you can see no change has been made. If a person downloads an app one shouldn’t have to see a message that app is updating 20 seconds after downloading said app. Poor execution of app especially when the happy meals toys are meant to be interactive with this app but nobody can use the app.🤦🏽‍♀️

Be an inventor. Why isn’t there be an inventor? I will not use the app until it is there. If you put it back into the game I will know cause I will check every week. Plz put it back in game. Fun! Okay!. It’s fun! it’s not that suprising but I’m good with it. I really love how you can scan your happy meal with it! I shared it with my sister and my big brother and little brother. It’s not,that exciting but it’s fine ! There’s not that much stuff to expect but I think you should Probably GET IT?? But itself is a great app!

Worst game ever😾. Disney’s 50 an and I miss the old + Pokémon cards. Good app but you some it’s from a little too hard Especially Disney’s 50 anniversary there almost impossible I mean only one you can only can only I mean only one you can only scan a toy and you can’t even scan the Pokémon cards But i’m playing for years Even before this iPad has been made I miss the old Version and I like the old logo better! Somethings are good and I really like you can dress the Happy Meal App part why why are you can I only take one photo that I make that’s my creativity it’s blank I hope this gets fixed soon

Kinda on the fence. Downloaded the app. It spent 5 minutes doing some app update which, never finished. Every time I opened it, it always showed updating. When the app first loads, it isn’t in total. You only get the part that has it update itself. When it finally got to the scan my box function, I was in the car so, it wouldn’t scan the smile. It kept saying to put the box on a flat surface. Kinda dumb if you are in a car. I deleted the app before it finished updating because 10 minutes into it, it was still updating. Not sure how much memory it needs.

Doesn’t keep up support. Sadly it does not keep up the support for past toys, a major one being Ron’s Gone. Have a sad child that wants to keep using and playing and he can’t. Also, can’t compare something like that to dressing up a happy meal box. When app is open it says it needs to update when I’m fact it’s doesn’t. Wish we could just go back to using Ron more than anything!

What happened to the old games?. I played this game when I was younger and loved the game where you had to launch the ball into the happy meal box. There was also more fun games on there like in the game where you had to kick the football at the right time, or the game that was like piano tiles, if you could bring back these games, that would be great!

Why are they different????. On one iPad we have a completely different version of this app and the other iPad we have a lower baby like version. It causes complete disruption in our lives as my kids both want the better version with the investor section. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and nothing helps.... very frustrating, otherwise the GOOD version is awesome and my kids love it

Fun!. This is a great app that adds a lot of variety to the possibilities for toys that come with happy meals. The most recent one, is a tracing and art kit from American greeting cards and we love it around here. The app is easy to use and does a great job merging digital interactions, which all kids need to be used to these days, with real world physical objects, which is also a very good thing.

Good, but some errors.... Ok, so, it's a real good game!!! But, the game keeps saying I need to update it and there is no UPDATE BUTTON!! Is this the game's problem or the app store's problem? Personally, I think it's your problem. I can't update the game but I really want to play all of these games. Please fix this! other than that, I think there should be more games, because I hate McDonalds because it's fake food. I use my sister's toys, which makes her angry. I like but could be better. I feel like that one game where you have to drive around to try and get more people in you car gives kids anxiety 😟 about things and two there’s not a lot for you to do but overall it’s very cool and fun 3/10 would sometimes recommend (to like a 4 yr old of course)

Fun but 😭. I love this game so much but. All the new stuff like pokemon, Yo Kai beanie babies that you won from your happy meal were gone when I when I was going to see the Hasbro games. I was disapointed that the stuff from different themes was gone. I especially miss the Christmas 2017 stuff from the happy meal express train. Please give us all our stuff back 😭. I miss it all

Broken hearted neurodiverse kids. Your app constantly updates with the newest characters- problem: you can’t access the old ones anymore, at all. You might think it’s great to keep kids looking at ONLY the newest content but I’ve got 2 neurodiverse children in tears because they can’t play with their Rons anymore. This is the last time we use your app- it’s not worth the tears later. Clearly, your company has not taken into consideration how children will react to the changes you probably just shrug off; I can answer that- in tears. Awful. Just awful.

Seriously?. I was eating with my brother (Yes, we just got McDonalds) and he wanted to join the game. Of course, I said yes. So I load up the game.. and there it is. The: ‘Uploading Game’ screen, so I try to restart my phone, that doesn’t work, I wait 5 minutes, STILL DOESN’T WORK, I even came to the App Store to ‘update’ it but it didn’t have an update button! Like seriously? I skipped the parent setting things, maybe that was it? Horrible game honestly, this is your problem McDonalds, and I REALLY DON’T wanna give a bad review, cause it’s one bad review that could ruin your whole store. Honestly, I would fix your mistake before MORE bad reviews come in… sorry but this gets a 1 from me. Stupid to give an app out that doesn’t even work. McPlay™, Awesome game!. I like this game so much! I am really glad that McPlay™ was Created! And I hope I can get a better bunch of surprises soon when the next toys, LEGO movie pt. 2 come out, I will try to enjoy the exiting games and soon I hope Mcdonnald’s can come up with some more Angry birds toys, I AM SO ADDICTED TO THAT GAME! And the other versions of the game! P.S, the fun never ends when we finally get our hands on our devices and play the game!

Update disappointing. My children downloaded this app three days ago and were very happy with it. It seems to have updated overnight and now when they return from McDonald’s with a toy they found that they could no longer scan anything. Please correct this flaw in the app And return the world to a normal state where we can all be happy again.

wow perfect!. I'm 30yrs old and all I can say is wow. McDon's you've done it again! this a a life evolving experience! I cannot recommend this enough, it helped me leave the priesthood and have the courage to tell my parents I'm a motorcycle dinosaur. So disappointing 😑😑😑. So basically, this app is boring and just a huge waste of time. So back in 2014 and before, this app was really good for kids and had a lot of things to do, when you scan a different toy or item, it will each time give out a unique game to play, and it even comes with books for kids to read and learn, including some hidden features and other activities for the kids. I took my two-year-old niece out to eat at McDonald's and she got a Happy Meal, while she was eating I was looking at the box and it mentioned scanning the toy to play a game on the app, and it brought back the memories of me playing that game as a kid, so I decided to download it for my niece to try out. When I installed the app, truth be told it wasn't as exciting as the app I remembered, I gave my phone to my niece and after five minutes of just looking around, she was not at all entertained, especially after scanning her toy, I've noticed that almost everything has changed and most features we're locked. I would give this app a zero if I could. Don't recommend at all!!!!!

Where is the happy meal guy?. My kids only play this app because they love to make the happy meal guy laugh and stick out his tounge and dress him up. And take pics with him… but now he is gone!!!! He was their fav and now he is gone!!! That’s all my kids keep telling me. Why did we collect all these new items for the happy meal guy beating all these games and what not collecting things for this lil guy if you was just going to take him away? Bring him back or we are done with McDonald’s kids meal app!

Really Laggy and Really Disappointing!. I got a happy meal recently because I wasn’t that hungry and on the little toy I noticed the little scan your toy thing. I hadn’t done it in FOREVER and I wanted to relive some memories so I downloaded the app. What I found was VERY disappointing. Everything had changed, there was NO scan your toy thing and everything revolved around a creepy animated happy meal box. Granted I noticed the toy I received was from 2018 but you used to be able to scan them nonetheless. Anyway, ever since the creepy box thing appeared, the McPlay App now changed to Happy Meal App has turned into basically and advertisement. Also you can’t even do anything because it freezes every five seconds!

AR needs a lot of improvement. My kids love for me to scan their happy meal smiles in the app to see the surprise. But, it is very frustrating. First, even in good light and a clean flat surface the camera doesn’t seem to be able to register flat. I have only been able to get it to work on the tile in my kitchen. Second, more often then not the resulting animation that incorporates the box is much smaller than the actual box and even moving closer is small for the kids to see. Third, load time is horrible. I have 3 kids who all want me to scan their individual boxes. After scanning one, I can’t just say scan again, even though the prompt says to. It has to leave the AR game load the main app, then I have to tap on the game again, and it has too load, then I have to scan the flat surface again (see above). All in all it takes a good 10+ minutes for a quick 15second clip each and a lot of frustration on this parents part.

Waste of time. Every single toy comes with a little disc that tells the kids to download the app and scan their toy. Except there is no scanner in the app. When you click the menu, you can choose from their activities (that have no directions) but no scanner anywhere. I even made sure in the settings to Allow the camera. Nothing. Sure is a lot of fun when the kids beg you every time to use the app to scan...except it doesn't exist 🙄🙄🙄

Okay I guess ,but not my favorite. So , this is a review ,... coming from a kid. My brother likes this game a lot but I mean when I try something like a game on the app, it never gives me good instructions. Like when so was playing the ball in the bucket game for my little pony (By the way I don’t like that show anymore) it made me restart so many times because I didn’t know what to do and I would die . Like SERIOUSLY?!? Please fix the other bugs as well , like when your playing and you do it right but then it counts it worth and it makes you restart , or the other one , well it’s not really a big but it’s the fact that after a while some of the themes go away ... and you put in new ones that don’t really make sense. I wish for animating back!!! :c. This game is amazing and all but they updated it and they had to remove the animating which my favorite part 🥺. You could put ur face and make movies with names like poopie mayonays and the title could be silly. There was a movie u could create that was the space one that u could find on the tv on the moon. I would beg them for the movies back since I’m a fan of this game. Kinda confusing in the App Store. Ok... so, I like the game. Is's fun, when it tells me that I need to update it, I go to the App Store and it says that it DOESN'T need to be updated! And I like the be a entertainer, but they don't put it on much....... if you could fix these two things, it would make me happy, please.

Newest update gives less features. So I updated and saw “Be an inventor” mode gone now replaced with “Be a hero”. The inventor mode was for older children or parents to play and the lacklustre update removed that. Then I see “Tiny detectives” book replaced the two “Tree top family” digital books that my child liked. I go to play the newest book “Where have all the fish gone” and after the intro the app crashed so I restarted my phone and opened app again to try and realized I can’t skip the intro to the newest book uploaded and it crashes again. So fewer features and not even checking to see if new digital book can be accessed by people real nice MacDonalds real nice now my child is upset and I seen other reviews I’m about to consider deleting this app altogether. Poor Quality control on whatever 3rd party operation you have managing this app

Please bring back the characters you can draw that come to life. We loved the old version and your new updates took away what we loved to play with. You used to be able to draw your own character and then they would come to life and move around.

AR not working. Every Sunday my daughter is excited for the new happy meal with her favourite toys of Jurassic World and to scan the smile on her happy meal box. Now every time that I open the app says they my IPhone doesn’t have AR. Like seriously that is not a problem

Update. The whole point I bought this app was to scan my toy but this STUPID UPDATE won’t let you. Put it is still good.

Nope. My child was scared of the happy meal and scanned me but nothing happened we don’t know how to use it but I gave it one star because it downloaded quickly

SCANNER DOES NOT WORK OR SPECIFIC WHAT TO SCAN. It always says “move to a brighter place” when I’m literally right beside a lamp??? Also I’ve tried scanning the literal box, the circle (which you would ASSUME by your instructions you scan), the toy itself and my receipt..nothing. This is crap.
