Downloaded new map. Broke the map feature after the download hung. On wifi, no interruption of service, actual bug. Deleted an re-downloaded, repeated same error. Deleted and re-downloaded again on 4G and map download worked fine. Could be an issue on my end.

2019 update crashes. I generally don’t have any problems but since they updated all the artist for 2019 the app crashes every time I try to favorite and artist to add them. Anyone else having that problem?

Garbage App. I bet the app has never been optimized other than good graphics. That’s about it. Interactive map is so bad that I use screenshot only. Schedule is nearly broken. Aggressive battery strategy is not making any sense. I couldn’t believe that these basic functions would drain so much battery. Honestly speaking, this is California, go get a decent software company to do the job. This is beyond useless. What a shame.

Doesn’t save data offline. Works fine, but doesn’t save the schedule or map to your phone. Has to retrieve them on app launch, which makes it less useful when the festival is packed and the cell network is jammed.

Why do you need my location data?. Just attended, great festival. However, i noticed the Coachella wanted my location data when the app is in use, why? After 5pm the app can’t even load the festival map, really hard to imagine what user benefit is achieved from collecting location data… Also, some portions of the app direct the user to the page on the website, lazy lol. If attendees are forced the get the app to register their wristbands and there isn’t much to be gained by the usable features, the location data usage is creepy.

Way better than last year's app. Nicely done, good design, useful features. I've had a few quirks with syncing my lineup with the website, but I was able to fix by removing and reinstalling the app.

See favorites from lineup view. I would like to be able to easily see if an artist is marked as a favorite from the lineup view. Currently I have to tap on an artist to see if they are a favorite. This is time consuming.

Eh. This app does what it needs to but it feels like a mobile version of a website slapped into an app. For a giant festival like coachella you would think it would be better but it's not? I absolutely love coachella and the website rocks but you need someone to completely redo the app because it could be so* much better.

Great app!. Amazing app. Really love how is the lineup shows up in grid view with all the stages and artists playing by date!

Now v. Then. I previously had the Coachella 2015 app on my iPhone 5c. I was able to log in - no problem. The app linked my schedule I'd made on the website with the app - no problem. Now, I just upgraded to the 6. When I tried viewing my schedule it said I needed to log in. Thought nothing of it since I'd just started the new phone. Logged in. Looked like it took my credentials...still no schedule...logged in again. Same thing. Loaded like I was logged in but I still could not view any of my schedule information nor could I view wristband activation and other things requiring a login. Also when I tried adding Peking Duck to my schedule it just said "schedule dates and time combing soon"...so confused, Coachella.

Helpful and intuitive. Useful to me all weekend. Few bugs but nothing I couldn't work around. One improvement for next year would be the ability to save timeline events locally while in offline mode. We are all trying to save battery while tracking our incredible experiences.

Very useful app. Overall very useful and easy to use. From setting schedule reminders to food locations and reviews. Only gripe is how long my reviews took to show up. I couldn't tell if it posted until it showed up a few days later. Hope they do this for 2014

Schedule is wack. Why isnt the “my schedule” in order by date. Its in alphabetical order why would we need it in alphabetical order. Hoping it changes closer to set time release

"Create Your Own Schedule" feature is broken. The option to create your own personal schedule and follow it throughout the day would have been the most useful reason for this app, but (at least for Weekend 2), the set times have been entered completely wrong. If that's the main reason you're downloading this app, you're much better off just printing off the schedules and mapping it out yourself.

Perfect App. I love this app! So easy to use and does exactly what I need. I can tell the people who made it really care about the users.

Not as good as last year. I added artists for my line up and a few hours later they were gone. The app last year let you sort by scheduled time blocks so it's easier to see conflicts. You can't see all the stages on one screen in this app, you have to scroll up and down which sorta defeats the purpose of the tool.

When will the 2014 app be released?. I used this last year and I found it so helpful in keeping track of all the set times. I hope they do this again for this year! I can’t wait to download it.

Fraught with bugs for iPhone 4. I don't have the latest iPhone, but that shouldn't mean I should have to suffer. My gripe is specifically regarding the "My Schedule" and "Line up" functions. The line up contains multiple (meaning from 3 to 6) instances of the SAME PERFORMANCE (date and time), causing the same event to appear in My Schedule THREE TO SIX TIMES (or maybe more! Who kept counting??). Really crap performance for an event that otherwise has its act together. Compared to the app's proper performance on my friend's iPhone 5, I feel like a 3rd class citizen. Boooooo Coachella 2013 app. Hope I don't have to depend on you for anything.

Chella. I must have been the only person who had an excellent experience with this app. I keep searching the App Store waiting for the 2016 version to come out. This app notified me whenever the set I wanted to see was up in 30 minutes. It honestly made my coachella experience so much better and I didn't feel so lost for my 1st coachella. I loved it, never had any issues with it. Hopefully the 2016 one is just as good!

It's ok. It won't be my primary app, but it looks pretty good this year. Minuses on the social prompts, but that's not my thing. I actually thought I would not get set times unless I created an account or logged in, but found I could get set lists on the bottom of the screen. It is slow, maybe fetches images from busy servers right now. As far as I can tell there are no band bios which is worth at least 2 stars alone. Thanks for making it available before the show! Coachella!

Hmm... gonna be a bit loud this year. Not to mention crowded, with every band scheduled to play at noon on the Sahara stage. On the bright side, they're also scheduled to be done at 12:30, so we won't have spend much time in the heat. Hey Goldenvoice, I know you only had a year to work on this, but you might need an update to the update. Either that or I want a refund, because a half hour per day festival doesn't sound like fun to me.

One issue to fix!. Finally able to add favorites in the app without crashing BUT just wanted to point out that janelle monae doesn’t have a weekend 1 slot. it just shows two options for weekend 2. wanted to point that out in case no one else has noticed, thanks!

The. Good

Buggy. After setting my lineup on the coachella website and then setting my lineup on the app, I found the option to sync. Now some of the sets I selected are showing up in the list view, but not the grid view. Probably due to a slight mismatch between the website and the app. But definitely something that should have been addressed. See what happens when you don't come out with at times till two days before the festival, Golden Voice?

You can’t download the app without wifi. So if you didn’t download it before going to Coachella you cannot download it using your service provider. You need that app to activate your wristband. I’ll gladly retract my review if they implement a fix or a way to activate your wristband on the website.

Great app look & feel. The app is smooth and looks cool.

Good with some flaws. The app is incredible shows the times that artists are playing and everything. But it runs kind of slow sometimes, and doesn't let me change that Im going on weekend 2, not one! Fix this pls

This is a terrible design. So I can’t active my wristband without downloading the app, but I can’t download the app because I have an older phone and don’t have the newest operating system? And I can’t download the older version that does work on my phone!? What the heck am I supposed to do!?!? This is awful and classist towards folks who don’t always have the newest phones

Worked well throughout the entire weekend. Didn't have any bug issues on my 4s. Will use again next year.

One of the best apps ever.. Wonderful app to use, very informative lots of up-to-date information, specially on there shows you want to see.

Unbelievably helpful!. Wow this thing is incredibly handy. My favorite part is using it with the coachooser where it helps you pick the shows you want to see and even can send you a reminder when the show is about to start. It's so helpful to use the grid view to see how your shows line up. This app is like the secret to making the most of Coachella.

Bug fix. So either I'm really confused or under my account where it asks what weekend I'm going to is not cooperating with me. It says I'm attending weekend one but I'm attending the second weekend. I tap on the icons until the information is correct but it changes back to me going to weekend one every time I close the app and check if it's correct. Am I doing something wrong, if so can someone let me know?

So much content. This app is awesome by event app standards. Tons of content to discover and it’s very responsive. Most other event apps are super clunky.

Really helpful for my first time going. I really like that I can check out the merch in advance and save the ones I like and also that I can favorite which artists I wanna see. Map is great too

Some kinks still. Well, when I searched for "Mojave"... The map showed me somewhere in BFE... So they need to constrain their possible search terms to the fest grounds and not something 50 miles away... Next, they should just label the tents in the graphical map overlay...

Crashes instantly with iOS 10.3.3. How can you guys make this a requirement if it won't even work? I've seen multiple reviews with the exact same problem I'm having. Are you guys being paid by Apple or something? Absolutely ridiculous. At least make a website that allows you to activate the wristbands, it would be ridiculously easy and I feel like you all have to know that. I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to force people to not only have a smartphone to attend your festival but actually download an app that doesn't even work to go to this. I don't want to update my iPhone because it was proved in court it would affect my phone's performance. Also, that shouldn't even matter because the app states it works with iOS 10 or greater, which I have, which is just a straight up lie.

Good but not great.... This app is effective at telling you who is playing where and when, sort of... The map doesn't list which venue is which, you have to tap on a pin that may or may not be right next to the venue (Yuma). The Good: It's great for sitting down in the morning, planning out your day, and having reminders buzz you when each artist is going on and telling you which stage they will be on. The Bad: The app is less intuitive and featured than the printed brochure. It's difficult to say: "hey, I'm walking past this stage and I like what they are playing, who is it?" and find an answer. A number of the lesser venues (do-lab, camping dome, etc) had no lineups listed said "schedule dates coming soon" for all of weekend one. The brochure had at least the Do-Lab lineup listed... The Ugly: The app turns on your battery draining GPS and then doesn't make use of it unless you're in the map (which isn't very well done). The app should work in such a way that even if you're of an altered mental capacity you don't have too much trouble using it, other wise what good is it? SUGGESTIONS: Link with friends on social media and mark "meet-up points" on the map. Have venues clearly labeled on map (not as pin markers). Have all lineups listed. Don't have the app glitch out and delete my whole schedule on Saturday night...

Best Coachella App ever. I see a lot of reviews written before the set times were loaded to the app. Now that they have loaded the times, this is, by far, the best Coachella app I've seen. Great work.

This app is so annoying. Finding stages at Coachella on this app is way harder than it needs to be. When you click on something to see its location it stops you from being able to zoom into it. Ie. Finding Sonora took me 2 min on the app. Another thing: if i want to find stages for instance, i have to deselect 15 other items. App UI is fine but the UX needs significant work.

Frustrating. It's great once you can get on it. So many error pages. Took me 15 minutes to try to change my password and after that didn't work I tried to make a new account and it took another 20 minutes for it to finally work. This thang needs an update. Coachella is the best though. Can't wait for this year

Trash. No map!! No time line of personal lineup list to now who’s up next.

The UI is just awful. The app does what it's suppose to do as far as show a line up but in its current state the user interface and user experience and overall design look amateur. The menu looks awful and despite the dated look of last years app, at least it was clean and pleasant to interact with. I hope this is just a beta that slipped through otherwise this app is subpar at best.

Mobile number - wristband activation. I can’t put my mobile number when i’m trying to activate my wristband. Is this field only designed for USA mobile numbers?? What about people who are coming from different countries? Very frustrating and disappointing.

Please fix Schedule. The schedule times do not work properly when I add my selected bands...please fix

Times all wrong. Looks nice but all the set times are wrong...every band is playing the Sahara stage at midday on both Fridays!

Buggin out. The app is buggy - I made "my lineup" for weekend two, but every time I reopen the app it has changed all my selected artists to the weekend one dates. I've gone through and changed every artist back to wknd2 twice now, but it keeps reverting back to wknd1 dates! Super annoying! It also keeps changing my settings to attending wknd 1 not 2, no matter how many times I fix it.

Awesome but.... Can't set my account to 'attending second weekend'. Always defaults to weekend one. Also, all set times are displaying as noon.

Bug theory. This app is look good. The bugs seems to be related to the time ... once Coachella reveal their schedule it should be fix, I hope.

No Coachella camera. I have an iPhone X and have received my weekend 1 tickets. The welcome guide states that there is supposed to be a “Coachella camera” option on the app. I opened the app only to find that it is not there.

Issues. The latest release has issues logging in. Also my lineup was erased with the update. Also I can't see just my schedule in the when/where feature.

Useful!. This version of the Official Coachella Music and Arts Festival app will be much more useful. Hopefully the cellular phone companies increased their capacity so I can use it constantly at the festival.

Terrible. Keeps deleting my "favorites" and there is not an easy way to look at your created lineup with all the set times and stages in mind, like there has been in years past. What is going on with this app

Activate wristband. I am not able to activate my wristband. I was thinking it was too early but after reading the comments, it looks like it’s the app. Has anyone been able to successfully activate their wristband?

Crashella. I love you Coachella but this app can't seem to stay awake. It crashes like it's Sunday night, post-headliner time. I can't even login without looking at your spinner Ferris wheel for much longer than I would ever want. Try again.

Bad in every way. Terrible messy design, hard to navigate, I keep trying to save artists to my schedule and they won’t save, also you can’t download it which will be useless at the festival.

Days glitch for weekend 1!. Please fix before Coachella! Friday 4/10 is listed twice and there is no Sunday 4/12. All bands playing on Sunday go into the second friday listed!

This is so last year!. I was excited about seeing Blur in 2014... oh. Wristbands are going out, people are getting excited, it's time to release an app update. Or a whole new app I guess.... And please add the option to bookmark food/drink vendors.

Looks nice; Big flaws. Having registered my wristband online, I am unable to login via the app because in order to login it requires you to register your wristband which you can't do twice. This is a huge flaw. Other than that, it looks nice and has usual info but it's not 100% intuitive.

Crashes immediately. Can’t even open the app. Kind of ridiculous to make it a requirement to have the app to activate your wristbands when the app won’t even stay open for more than one second.

Not working. There were some server issues or something going on. I had to delete and redownload the app and now I can't sign in because it says I'm not connected to the Internet but I'm leaving this review while using the Internet

Worst app!. OMG how many times do I have to say I am going to weekend 2!? NOT 1. So every time I create my line up this stupid app changed everything to weekend 1. I have redone line up 3 times in less than a day. AND you can't have every show at 12-12:30. Waste of time and effort.

Does not work at the venue. Didn't work at Coachella. Nothing loaded in the app and no push notifications came through. I was connected to the sponsored wi-fi too and didn't have issues with other apps.

Absolute mess of an app. Whomever decided to have an internet required app for a festival where you don’t have internet 90% of the time probably shouldn’t be making decisions anymore. App worked about twice a day at the festival and never when you want it to.

Glitch. Every time I add a band from the lineup to my schedule the app closes. Frustrating. Everything else seems to function how it should.

ErRoR. Not able to like artists and create a schedule

Only crashes. Open it and the app crashes after a few seconds. But surprise it's actually secretly still running in the background. Don't get this app. Worthless. Drains your battery and my dog could have coded and designed something better.

Ineffective. Doesn’t work well at Coachella, because the cell networks are overloaded. Why aren’t the maps offline? Also, this app continues using your location when it’s closed even if you choose “Only While Using”. So stupid.

why so many questions?. I just want to use the app, not be forced through 7 screens of questions before I can see anything.

Can’t even enroll my Amex card. Can’t enroll my card for the associated benefits. Tried to follow the original website instructions to navigate and find the enrollment tab. But I don’t think it’s even there. Overall, super difficult app to navigate through.

OK, SERIOUSLY??. With how much money they are making off the festival, they can't even get an app to function properly?? It sets me to Weekend 1 even though I'm attending Weekend 2 and it can't log me into my account. Gives me some crazy long error. ALL I WANT TO DO IS CONNECT WITH OTHER PEOPLE OVER OUR MUTUAL LOVE OF MUSIC. GET YOUR SH-T TOGETHER, COACHELLA & GOLDENVOICE.

Can't login. I'm trying to activate my wristband but I can't even login to my account? They should really get that fixed ASAP especially since the festival is coming up REAL soon...

Disappointing. I don't know why you guys didn't just leave it alone... the app has worked fine for the last few years. This incarnation doesn't have a proper "coachooser", no maps, no usability, really... I hope there'll be updates between now and festival time...

2017 Update Request. When are you going to update the app for the 2017 Line-up?

Login Bug. Seems to be a problem with the login. Resetting password works for the site, but not the app. Please fix! It was a great app the last few years.

Drained my battery life. make sure to close it in the background as it will eat through your battery, even if you set the GPS permission to “while using”

Inaccurate unfocused impractical. buggy schedule! (wrong stone roses end time, doesn't show on grid view) pretty & feature rich but it's a user experience nightmare. too many "social" features that drain battery I need to get through a day on the fields. Facebook checkins at the venue are broken. scheduling features of the app are useless unless you "log in" (and share all your info with the festival promoters). really confusing/clunky schedule UI. stop prompting me to create a timeline, already!

Set times off and not saving account changes. Set times are wrong and it is not saving my schedule when I add an artist to it. You've had a year to work on this guys, please update before the show and will change rating.

Same venue/set time. App looks great. But I noticed that when trying to schedule acts, every act is apparently playing at noon at the Sahara tent. So either it's going to be one crackin party or....

Hmmm..... I'm super excited bout Coachella, however I'm not sure about the app. It keeps glitching and just quitting on its own...better fix that GoldenVoice! Apart from being really annoying, the app serves its purpose. I have an iPhone so I don't think it's quitting on me because of my device.

Wristband Activation. So when I opened the Coachella App and logged in I never received the option to activate my wristband, how do I go about doing this? Like there’s no section marked off for wristband activation anywhere so where do I even go to start? Please help I’m so confused.
