Recent update. The recent update seems to have fixed VPN constantly disconnecting. I thought it was my Verizon service for the last several months. It was apparently a coincidence that I had issues with my Verizon one day and since the VPN. I have not had issues after updating last week. I spent way too much time trying to constantly reconnect all day long. Thank you for fixing the issue!

Love the app. Look im sticking with 5 stars because you have protected my phone over the last year. My account expired and I went to renew restore and it wont update to say I am active for another year. I don't know if I did something wrong but I cant seem to get help. I went to the chat room to get help but when I’m asked to get more information I lose the person Im talking to in the chat room. Please assist.

Trend Micro review. I had a lot of security for my computer and my phone let me say McAfee and Kaspersky they let viruses in my computer. Blue screen and ransom ware I’ve had to throw away drives before because they were completely ruined. But I’ve had Trend Micro for quite a few years now Hey they might be a little much on the price but what is the price of a new drive or even ransom ware gonna cost. I’m sticking with Trend Micro.

Love it!. I’ve had Trend Micro since 2008 and I’ve been using it ever since. I love the continued updates and secure for all my computers and devices. I recommend this software to protect your devices and I formation. Just got trend Micro. Just got trend micro for my laptop &my iPhone i had it on my ASUS router but never used it then I saw it on pc security Chanel & he tested on all the best known viruses & malware it caulght all of them so i Baugh it 1 very easy to setup 2 easy to use 3 has everything you need for security The only negative I had to go into Facebook & change something myself but they should me how to do it. All in all I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to secure their computer or their phone I will write another review after I use it for a while

Good! I think!!. Up until now, so far I haven’t had any security issues. I hope it continues to be like that. The application is easy to use and it seems to be very reliable. I will a longer review as soon as my membership is getting closer to the expiration date.

Best Apps in the world to protect your mobile phone. This Trend Micro apps is awesome to protect you from phishing and attack from malicious software and ransom. I will recommend getting This app for your mobile if you do most of your businesses on your mobile. Why not for your mobile! since in few years 90% of people will be doing everything on hand held devices. Keeps notifying me. I have only one problem with this app. Even though I have unlimited data and have selected that option in the app, it keeps sending me notices that I need to reopen the app after restarting, (even though I haven’t restarted my iPad) to adjust data usage settings. It annoying when it shows upon my notifications screen,. Is there anyway to adjust this w/o turning off notifications?

Awesome software. I have been using trend micro software for the past 25 years. I have never been let down, software is always work perfectly. When I do have an issue, I can check with the community or with the tech help and get my issues resolved. Thank you Trend micro for the software, please keep making the apps.

annoying wi-fi alerts. can we please add a setting to ignore the alerts about unsecured wi-fi connections if the connection is listed as TRUSTED or when VPN is on? At that point the alerts are just annoying and you can’t turn them off driving people toward uninstalling the app. It has active VPN built in but still suggest i download a separate VPN app to secure the connection…major oversight by the developer

Mobile Security. I truly enjoy this app and it even lets you know when websites are not to be trusted even those posted in Instagram and Facebook for different products. You can’t go wrong using this app This app is constantly on watch whether it is a website embedded in an email or a text link, it catches the scam or illegal dangerous site, blocks and warns you not to continue.

Help!. My mom downloaded this security for my phone to keep me off the internet and it purpose was served but now, I can’t delete it. It doesn’t show up on the home screen so I can’t just remove it from the home screen like any other app and it won’t expire like it did on my younger brothers phone (we have the same phone). It’s keeping me from looking up literally anything and I can’t download certain apps; I can’t even reset the phone to get rid of it because its out need the password to do so and my mom forgot it and I never saw it. Please help!

The Absolute Best Protection. I am a long time user of their Prime services for all of my devices. On the few occasions wherein I pay for additional Customer Support those employees are very knowledgeable. For those who are just thinking about this service, go ahead and establish an account. You will it regret that decision to take the leap into Trend Micro.

Trend Micro Safety…. I have been using Trend Micro products for years to protect my computers, and all the phones on my account. I have never had them fail me yet, and with the VPN, I feel safer. I will recommend anyone that wants safety, and security with your computer and phones use Trend Micro. I demand excellence and I am happy with their products and service.

Safe surf Browser in this app. This app content protection and safe surfing protection from malicious websites is good. Some glitches in browser in ios: you cannot print with an air printer using the page with up arrow. It give a ½ page instead of the full page to print. You have to change to a different browser to print. Also, you cannot delete only one item from the history. You have to delete total history. Very irritating. They need to fix these simple functionality problems to make this a decent browser.

VPN Issues after update *edit and update. As another review noted a previous update has caused the device to disconnect and reconnect continuously from both WI-FI and cellular data when the VPN/ Web Guard is turned on. I hope you are able to fix this bug soon. Completely uninstalling the app today and reinstalling it seems to have fixed the issue. Back to working amazing again.

Deceptive. That I had to agree to terms before finding out that I cannot use it; yet, I am bound to eternal terms, without the option to revoke what was not purchased (and I have chosen not to use) is questionable, no matter the ratings? There is a fee after clicking the checkmark. It is inexpensive. But I should have that option, after* finding it out. It feels bait-and-switchy, at very least. Just, why? Why can I not have revoked terms of service if I only downloaded, but I chose not to use?! Why is there an insistence on my information, anyway?! This is not a rhetorical question. I expect an answer.

Best Protection Around. I learned about Trend 4 years ago from an IT Tech. I had never heard of Trend before but I installed it. Absolutely the BEST Virus protection I have ever used on my desktop, iPhone and tablets. It protects every aspect of my electronic devices without interfering with any programs. Feeling confident, protected. I have used trend micro for years. Trend Micro allows me to feel confident. When pulling up some new web pages , I will get a warning if the site is a protected or not. In this day and age with all the hacking going on, I need all the protection I can get. I renew every year and it’s a very easy process. So get the app and enjoy its benefits.

App does make it easy. Even when it tells you what's at risk for your facebook and twitter, it asks permission to do the changes necessary to protect your account. only reason I rate it 4 stars is because It would be nice to scan the more commonly known apps like snapchat and instagram but then again it's better off not having these apps that saves valuable information at all and just log in using the web where it can be easily monitored and secured by this app. I think this has a lot to offer for only $10/year. Hope this helps.

Please fix the “things to fix”. It is so annoying that the notifications being off makes the app flag as “things to fix”. Even when you indicate to ignore this in the app - it only fixes the issue temporarily. When you open the app the next time - it will again indicate you have “things to fix”. Some of us don’t want to change the settings of this app to allow notifications and that ok. But the false positive of always showing there are “things to fix” even after setting this to ignore makes the app very unfriendly because you don’t know if there is a serious item flagged or just the notifications that it’s flagging - please fix this!

Best security. I have used trend micro for years, well until I moved to apple products but now that apple is no longer safe I am back using them and it is even better than before. It runs a scan super quick, it is easy to use, and I feel safe using my phone with trend micro protecting it

MobileSecurity. I have used this app for several years and had auto renew. This year I was charged and the expiration date did not change showed expired. I contacted customer service and they were useless. I have paid for something they claim they have no record of

Your app is like a virus 🦠 slows my system. I don’t know what happened but I’ve used you guys for a while now and although I could see slowdowns in my WiFi access speeds they wer aggravating but tolerable. I’ve now gone from WiFi connection speeds of 400+ Mbs to 10 and 20 Mbs. I’m running an iPhone 11 Pro and it was fine before. I know it’s your app because I still get blazing speeds from my iPad Pro 112.9 and my wife’s iPhone 8’s and my wife’s iPad 7th generation in the same room in the same seat run simultaneously or minutes apart. The only difference thankfully 😅 I didn’t load them on my other devices. You need to fix this or I’m gone as a customer. I wish I had never purchased your services for a year because if I stop I’m still locked in for a year. I’m not impressed. I also use your other app for protecting my system and now I’m suspicious of it too but I’ll tell you in the ratings for that one.

Install on new iPhone. I don’t think I have ever been as frustrated as I am right now with trying to get this program were it doesn’t say I have “6” things to fix, “5,” “4,” and now “3” that I can’t get past. I think I now own 2 subscriptions with Trend in trying to get the issues resolved. Also, I haven’t owned this phone long enough for my trial subscription to be expired but the app says it has expired. What’s up with that?

Garbage. There is nothing more annoying than a company who offers the free trial but then makes it nearly impossible to decline or switch off auto-renew. Do not “trial” this software if you are not sure you want it. To turn-off auto renew and prevent future billing is next to impossible — it can be done but it is a lot of work. I’ve found that it is impossible within the App itself on your phone, so you will have to get to a PC and log into your TrendMicro account. Within the app on your phone, NONE of the Manage Subscription links work (they all lead to “Page Not Found” splash pages). Extremely frustrating, so I would not recommend! As far as the App itself, I found that performance of my phone suffered after install. Battery life is shorter and overall speed is slower. Not worth it for me.

The adult content filter failed in 60 seconds. Test: I downloaded and set this up, set content shield on child setting, went to browser (edge in this case, but that does not matter), went to image search site and set site’s filter to off, typed in a type of adult content....let’s just say the fail was massive. I am using this for the ad block and malware protection, but I have to find a better solution to block adult content from devices because any 13 year old can get past this. Worse yet, there is no record I can find of the offending activity. Just as a note, the restrictions option native to the iPhone is terrible and gets in the way more than it helps, what is needed here is a 100% image blocker (video to) that allows a parent or monitor to whitelist image sources (I.e. iPhone photos, text if wanted, and images from particular web sites like Wikipedia or whatever).

Used since first of year. Deleted today. iPhone has private address turned on, but VPN hesitates, and/or some times prevents phone from connecting to WiFi. I don’t see any benefits from this app, except the VPN? Question that because I keep getting pop ups from TM about other VPN apps to use. Make one app for all mobile device needs! Had Norton VPN before, it was slow as well , but it did detect when iPhone needed the iOS updated, TM does not.

Very Good product. I had a brain injury in 2014 so learning it all is taking time. I have a terribly smart hacker. Having PTSD and dealing with not being able to go online and having no privacy at all, finding my phone changed constantly stealing my Apple ID by changing my password and generally making all activity online difficult is my issue. This product is helping. I haven’t found anything yet which does. As I learn more maybe it will work even better! Learning more, now let’s see if it holds!

Very Grateful.. Please Continue to Protect Us! <3. Greetings and hello, hope who’s reading this review is in great health and spirits. Recently I moved out of an apartment (and into my car) that was destroying my mental health because of malicious neighbors (much more than just nosy.. spying on me and filming me..). Also, WiFi was included in my rent- but come to find out that they were tracking my every move on the internet (asked if I could get my own internet installed but was denied). As I have been sick/disabled with anxiety and depression for 6 months, the last thing I need(ed) is for hackers and snoopers to try and steal the now very limited things that I even have left. It’s not paranoia! Recently spoke with numerous honest folk, and they are also concerned about the huge uptick in phishing text messages and emails too. With everything I have- I am fighting to return to the workforce as a Vanlife photographer/artist/author/influencer/grill-cheese-seller. Also I am in battle with my own mental disabilities and fighting poverty (I am impoverished). Easy to set up and use. This app is very easy to set up in use. I bought the yearly subscription and it was only $10. I did everything you told me to and love the experience so far. I am blind and it is accessible using my voiceover screen reader.

Seems good to me. I got an apple thing on my phone that says that people need to pay 2.99. I would pay for it because I easily go to websites that are not protected and I need something to stop it. It seems like a good price to me but my parents are not really willing to pay for it. However I would want to know if it is really does a good job of detecting viruses because Apple sent me a thing that I need to get VPN because I have six viruses on my iPhone and it could shut down my iPhone. I have also experienced strange pop ups. They said that it has no viruses on the free trial.

Interacting with security protocol. The app helps guide me correctly, turning on and off certain things on my phone in the settings. It helps me learn how to operate my phone or efficiently. I really have peace of mind, when I get alerts, identifying concerns From the program, working in the background while I’m learning how to work with the security program to ensure my safety. It covers the three primary aspects in my phone life; calls coming in and out; messages I receive; and email. There is an option for social media issues. I am a word-of-mouth subscriber; my fiancé and her father shared trend, micro with me.

Best mobile security app. I have used now for years Trend Micro Security & latest version Titanium for all my business and home computers, laptops, and now my mobile devices. It is easy to use and the App helps me stay on top of security items to fix or sights that are not secure. What more can I say but try it and see for yourself, It’s great!

Fearures.. Ad blocker has been returned. I’m giving it another try. *Update* Okay I tried it again because they contacted me about my review and said they had brought back the ad blocker features. The problem there is that it doesn’t block ads, even though it says it blocks ads in Safari browser. Remember folks, iOS is a closed environment, and apps can’t affect apps. This is not s pc, so no app is going to scan your phone or iPad for malware. Apple has that covered. All this thing does is pop up once every few days to say it wants you to turn on content blocking on your phone.

My Trend Micro Security. I really trust and feel secure using Trend Micro as my security on my IPhone. Even though the IPhones are supposed to have built-in security of it’s own, I feel more comfortable having both on my phone. At my age group, (early 70’s) one can never be too careful of being hacked.

Review of TrendMicro security:. I have been using this security suite for well over two years I feel confident on both my iPhone 8 and my iPad Air 2. I like that you can scan your social networks, your wifi system and your websites that you use. I was hacked a few years back thru my FB. It destroyed my windows laptop, but my iPad only had to have adjustments. At the time there were very limited security utilities you could get for a iPhone or Ipad. I feel very confident when it blocks the questionable sites.

Great app so far (first day using). Very impressed with the amount software security applications involved to ensure total confidence that my devices are truly secure. I like the scan feature but wish it would go deeper into accessing embedded coding that can be paired with malware, spyware, etc. Through emails or adware calls. I've gotten prompted to enter my Gmail info three times back to back and then when I clicked out of the prompt I was still able to use my phone but recorded am adware or scammer call immediately after. I believe it's some nosey co-workers or ex employer that is trying to smear me. A more thorough and in-depth security scan of internet protocols and hardware would be great.

VPN on the iPhone is unstable. My wife and I both have iPhones and try to keep VPN active to help insure security, but are having problems with it. It seems very unstable and often disconnected after having been connected for some period of time. It tries unsuccessfully to reconnect and apps won’t open while it is trying to connect. It happens wether we are on a WiFi, or cellular network. In order to resolve the problem we must open setting/VPN setting select disconnect and then it usually reconnects. What a pain in the you know where. Please fix it!

Make that 4.5 stars .... Nothing is perfect, but Trend Micro Security comes pretty darn close. I use Trend Micro to secure all three of my Apple devices and appreciate their integration as well as the security they provide. They identify both major and minor threats to the integrity of my devices and have protected me from several attempts to infect them with malware and/or collect and share personal information with unwanted third parties. I have had little or no performance degradation on any of those devices. The one minor gripe I have is that I have to manually restart the product on my iPad Pro whenever I restart it. I would rather it were automatically restarted as on my iMac but I understand that this is not a readily available feature of iPadOS. Would I buy it again? I dunno because I have no intention of not transferring it to my newer devices as I upgrade.

Draining battery. I use to love this app until the last update. It now drains my battery all day because icc bc ant get it to stop constantly running in the background. I turned off background refresh but it still runs 24/7 even when the phone is not in use. It averages 5% per hour. It is awful. After uninstalling it, I just learned that the VPN setting is why it was so slow on WiFi and 5G. I removed it and all is well. Sad that the only solution is to uninstall the app

Excellent app. I have use Trend products for years and have been very happy with their apps and features. Knock on wood, I’ve never been hacked or had any virus since using their products. Would and have recommended this product to my friends and family. I personally don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied with them.

Many problems. I have 2 devices on Trend Micro Mobile Security. They were both purchased through the APP Store. They were both on monthly automatic subscription renewal. In late February one of them did not renew. I have contacted the Trend Micro people and, though they have been very nice and tried to help, they have been unable to fix the problem. The device still tells me that my subscription has expired and that I have to renew it. I have tried to renew it on the APP website multiple times without success. The second subscription for the identical software on my second device still works fine and I love it. I always give it a 5-star rating. I am worried about it though because it is scheduled to renew in about one week. As far as I can tell, and I confess that my knowledge and skill levels are low, I can’t remove the defective software from my system or account. It just sits there and interferes with my attempts to correct the situation.

Bad day here. Not so easy when I want to know something quickly as a Senior. I don’t feel secure. But better than on another company at least. Right now I have apparently locked my self out of my computer by saying I want touch. Then forgot password. Bad day here. Was told need to check security. Overall I trust this company, just having a bad day that won’t go away.

Best protective app.... I bought this protective service after having many prior. It was the easiest to install, took some time to learn, but far less junk and spam hitting me, yeah! Overall I prefer to any other out there. It was recommended by my computer people. I’m highly recommending it to you!

Delete!. Have used this for two years now. About 6 months ago, I deleted it from my iPad because VPN was not needed (not “air”, and never connected to anyone else’s WiFi). Now, over the last month, maybe longer, the Safari browser just stopped working on my iPhone. Would not connect to any website nor would it allow me to follow any links (known to me) from my email. It’s like something locked up my phone as if parental control suddenly got switched on. Checked every setting-no reason it should be behaving this way and of course, VPN cannot be turned off. Deleted Trend Micro, and instantly, my phone connects again (same thing happened with a different browser as well). Sooo frustrating being out and about, unable to search for stores, restaurants, attractions, etc. Used to be a good service, what happened?

I Feel Protected with Trend. I’ve had Trend Microsoft Security products over the last few years and always felt protected . After I had a virus on my computer several years ago, I switched to Trend Microsoft Maximum security and never had a problem. Thank you!

Love this app. Had a problem , with social media signing in & scan. I did fix it. Changed password, rerun scan and all worked. I like the notice of blocking pages that are sus I’ve used Trend since my first computer & like that it’s easy to use. Thank you

Constant Emails. This is a great product, I have always used Trend since I got my 1st internet device. Most years when the product is due for renewal I occasionally update hardware and also get better details with suppliers offering Trend at a discounted price. I generally take up this offer because saves be cash. The downside is that I have to register the new trend license and let the original expire which isn’t a big deal for me as I am still using trend with a new license. Trend then constantly send other discounted emails and reminders that my trend has expired. You send them emails advising them that you are still using their products and the emails keep coming. The product itself is fantastic and I will continue using it. I just would like the emails to stop,

Feeling Secure. I like this system very much, still get annoying charity calls and the odd “ Telstra spam demanding me to contact them via keyboard options “, however, but overall the vicious hacking has been stopped a lot.

Mmmmm. Let me just say in the 15 years I have used I cannot work out if it’s a good product. Let me just say this. I have never had a virus , Trojan horse or malicious software on any device I have used. But I have had a number of warnings pop up to say this has been blocked. I have it on my pc , iPhone and iPad

Potential from being Scammed red flagged several times already. Best safety coverage from internet scammers. I’m so impressed with Trend Micro and their ability to swiftly pick up any fraudulent links and messages. Thanks for the financial protection and the headaches/lost time that can follow from being scammed!!

Report scam calls. Would love the ability to report a scam call like I can with scam messages. I find it frustrating that I can only block the number but not report it to relevant authorities.

The best app. Best security for the whole family, I have all laptops and mobile phones protected, easy to use, never fails always delivers the protection needed. The trend Micro customer service team are fantastic and very helpful. I have been with them for years with no issues

Have decided not to renew.. They are not answering emails about my issues even though I’ve twice written to their quote email address about them (as they requested in Developer feedback). I’ve tried calling them and get a full voice messaging service which says it’s full and can’t take more. Online chat never has someone arrive and I’ve sat endlessly on phone till I’ve given up. May be the worst customer service I’ve had. The vpn in this app still stops apps loading, blocks iMessages sending and pages loading in Safari - even when I have specifically recorded them as approved sites. I have been a loyal user of their PC version and that seems to have served me. My own tech support says stay with that but never expect to talk to a real person.. unless sitting on phone to tech support for a very long time. Don’t know how they can be thorough in addressing web threats on PC yet so lacking in other aspects of their service. Very disappointing.

Installing Trend Micro.. I had difficulties in installing the new upgrade and was directed to the support department.. I wish to say how absolutely supportive and patient the staff person was. She walked me through each step until each device was connected. Thank you..

Safe & Sound. I like the comfort of being safe from the Undesirables in the world. I have used Trend Micro for over a double decade of safeness. (Not like another one that over took my computer causing all sorts of problems) If you need help Support are courteous and helpful. I’ve been “singing” praises to anyone, who tells me of spamming and other troubles that they may have. If you want to be nuts be a squirrel and eat peanuts. If you want to be safe get this program. It’s worth the money and reasonable when you become a loyal and faithful customer.

Best off all I’ve tried over the years.. I have to say going from other brands over the years this is the best one. For not only it’s security but also it’s on going updates. This with password protect. I have finally gone back to all Mac. Always used there phones. But now saved enough to get a MacBook Pro so iPhone and ipad with the laptop. I know my email is looked after and my iPad iPhone and browsers. With out having a whole lot of other parts to get individually. Highly rate it, being in Australia and using these. Has helped me a lot and the Mac side of it works with out a problem. Very easy to use and setup. Then it takes care of the rest. Will continue with the company. Cheers

Data. I use very little data and only really use Facebook just for my friends and messages. I never look at any videos from other people, no twitter or Utube. I am an old lady who looks after her pension and doesn’t waste it on data, but Telstra are very good with it and have terrific free offers once a year. 50gb free last May.

Great on iOS so far. Have just started using on iOS and is working well. Have used TrendMicro for years on my PC/windows devices and it doesn’t get in the way or slow things down. If you wish to manually configure things you can do that too. It’s saved my windows PC countless times even though I’m very careful. Nowadays you can never be too careful! Thank you Trend!

Great Easy Ecurity. I feel secure using the web for Banking etc using this software on my devices, laptops & desktop. I like the scan’s that tell you how to improve your computers performance. Very handy and it’s just very Easy to use!! Switched from another Security Software to this and glad I did.

iPhone security. I have found no problems at all. It was recommended to me by a friend who repairs phones, Tablets, laptops and computers etc. I’ve had it for 2 years now and no complaints 👍

Concerns about where report messages is. Where the report message is concerning because where the report messages is was right under the link to the message that I gotten and if it’s a scam message I don’t want to accidentally click on that link by mistake and I am also worried that other people will accidentally make this mistake as well.

I have just renewed my licence on my computer and when I open up this app it is still saying it’s about to expire and I have sent an email twice my email as instructed to update it and it just opens the app and the expiration date is still the same. How do I update it so it shows I’m current.

VPN causing problem on iPhone SE 2021 version. I have had problems with links not being opened by my touch instead having to push harder to open link in a new tab. I’m discussions with apple, they have traced it to the VPN on this app. With it switched off the links work fine. With it on, I have intermittent fault when opening links. At this stage I permanently leave VPN off which the app constantly notified me as such. Please work a fix on this

Very good security program.. I have been using Trend Micro for years. It deals with a number of my devices and I find it easy to use with good prompts to remind me when something needs fixing. The cost per annum lowers as you buy protection for more years. That way you can just let it get on with its job. Highly recommended.

Got my back. I’ve been using trend micro for nearly 10 years now and never felt safer or more confident while online. I have several devices and thanks to trend micro they’re all covered with their 5 devices deal. Thank you Trend Micro for watching my back.

Don’t waste your money. I cannot get this to work properly on my iPhone, which has the latest operating system. I have been trying for over a week to get help but just receive the same inane emails treating me like an idiot and telling me to turn the VPN button on. When I finally managed to get someone on the phone, I was polite but cool and insisted he read my emails so I didn’t have to repeat the same information for the tenth time. He hung up on me after saying he would read them. My problem is that TM keeps turning itself off when the phone is locked and I am left unprotected most of the time . Nobody has addressed that at all. Don’t bother with this app. No real support if things don’t go as planned.

Great product. Used this for the past 3 years of my life. Works very well. Always running in the background which makes me feel a lot more confident. To all the people who say it’s bad your just not using it right. Highly recommend.

Confused. When I scan this program it tells me I have 2 things to fix. My Apple ID and my Facebook. I can fix my Apple ID but when I try to do my Facebook I keep getting this message “ due to a Facebook update, this feature is not available. Please check back later” I have even downloaded the latest software upgrade for my Apple devices (iPad and iPhone) When am I going to get answer to this enquiry. I’ve had this problem for a few weeks now.

Complicated renewal process. I already purchased a renewal it should simply just have an option of already have the software key and give me the field to enter them, instead of going to purchasing other services that add to more confusion and I can get in into a trap of buying other unwanted services. I’m not that good with your renewal procedure on apple operating systems can please make it simpler.

No help. Been trying to update mobile security for many many months. App inadequate. Pay for 5 devices. Laps tops ok. Got zero help from customer support. Basically paying for something that is not supplied. Been customer fos at least 10 years.

Still a Steady Fan. I have been using Trend Micro for years now and it has never let me down. Happy to stay with in the future. But I do wish they would stop sending me emails to come back to them when I have never left.

Upgrading to 5. Just checking in after last app update to say you have definitely earnt the 5 star rating that I’ve been so hesitant to give for the last 18months, as I believe nobody / no company is perfect, but the review is about the app and the service it has provided me , 5 stars Trend.

Good app just slows some things down. Love the app, which came as part of the package I bought for my MacBook, although occasionally it won’t let verifier safe websites load in Safari. This problem does seem to be happening less than it used to, possibly because I’ve had to change my default browser to Chrome. The other issue is one someone wrote about in a review a year or two back - I renewed using a new product key as my son was able to buy me an upgraded TM package much cheaper than I could renew it for online. The problem is I receive email after email, months after upgrading, telling me to come back and offering discounts. I’ve tried responding to explain I’m using a new product key but it hasn’t stopped the emails coming.

Absolutely Pathetic. Pathetic, pathetic programming. Stop getting nerds to create your pages, or if that’s all you’ve got to do it, have someone with no experience try to navigate installing it. When they get stuck, and stuck and stuck, fix the problem. Your help line was quite helpful when I finally stumbled upon how message you. I had to laugh (no, I didn’t, I boiled with rage) at your help line that had one of its Mandatory fields, of How Are You Connected to a Server, or some such garbage tech talk (something about VNA or something). Nerds know that sort of garbage, purchasers of your app don’t. It rendered your Help Site inaccessible to anybody but nerds, and they don’t need help. I would never, ever of paid for your app if knew how much grief, rage and frustration it would cause.

Used for 9 years without issue. Our entire household has been subscribed to Trend Micro coverage for over 9 years without incidence, they are now asking for a lot of personal information, in order to track it and it’s release/leaks, but I’m not overly keen on providing it all, still able to remain coverage though, selecting what I do I do divulge.

Amazing program. Amazing software being using this for years Never had a problem has great features for so much things for safe web browsing and keeps the hackers away just incredible For social networking like Facebook or anything else does amazing job for nasty hackers I would highly recommend this to anyone

It’s okay and does the job more or less. The only issue is Facebook, it says I have issues, I select the ones that are highlighted and change or don’t change, it processes , but doesn’t acknowledge my changes. It still comes back with the same issues to be changed again on the next scan or when you open up the app. Why is this?

Notifications. I downloaded this app because it was on the top 10 best free iphone malware stoppers and there are so many in app purchases which is fine because I get it, you have to make money. But, my problem is the amount of notifications they send. I get about 15 a day and I’m like settle down mate. But I mean it does what it says kinda. You can scan your phone for sus stuff

Will save you. Great software to have with all the malware and scam’s around it’s worth the investment the service is also good in the 4 years I have had it iv only had one issue and it was resolved quickly

My use. I have had several security programs over many years. And the worst thing about each one I’ve used they keep telling the customer that it is necessary to buy another section of the security to be safe. An add on here and there soon adds up and you seem to have your hand in your pocket all the time. This program now cost X amount and that’s it.

Trend micro. Considering I have only had this security system installed in last 7 days it appears to work very thoroughly and efficiently. I am confident this will keep my phone and iPad safe and secure. Thank you

Great product, easy to use. We’ve used Trend Micro on our Desktop for years. I was sceptical how it work on iOS for our mobile devices. I have really surprised how easy it has been to install and use. Works seamlessly in the background and has great features. Very happy.

Doesn’t remember settings and can’t approve a WiFi network?. In notifications you CANNOT turn off “remind me to check security report”. Sure, you turn it off and then as soon as you go out and back in it’s on again!? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ I don’t want constant reminders, if it’s doing it’s job then I shouldn’t have to check for anything! Also, what’s up with the WiFi checker and approved list? My network is safe, it’s my home one, you click “approved list” and it’s empty, but there’s NO WHERE to add to this list? There’s an edit section greyed out as the list is empty - how do you even add one to the list!!??

A Scam. I have used Trend on my PC for years. I downloaded to protect another device on my new IPad and found the app only prompted to use its upgraded paid version and rated my security as poor, including because I didn’t have secure Facebook and Twitter logons, which I don’t use. The app appears next to useless to me with this sort of advice. This has totally lowed my opinion of trend as a reputable company and serious consider alternatives once my subscription lapses. The app deserves only one star for this blatant con job.

Excellent Service. While I was setting up the app I had a few issues along the way but the customer service was Clear with what I had to do and I finished setting up the app in less then 5 mins

Best there is!. I have been using Trend Micro for some years now. In that time I have not had one issue with security on my laptop and also my iPhone and iPad. I now use Trend Micro Maximum Security which allows me to protect all of my devices as well. I highly recommend this Program to anyone looking for top line internet security. Great security. I got this security program for my iPhone so I don’t have issues with hackers trying to get information on my device. It’s working great and it blocks websites from gaining access and let’s me know when this has happened so I would recommend this mobile security to anyone needing a decent protection program for your phone

Positive and secure. Thank you to Trend Micro Plus. I’ve had little to no issues with the security of my device. The Private settings for Internet and other message features are helpful. One suggestion is for the app to automatically choose in the settings all toggles with the most private and secure settings, not just the default best ones for efficiency. This may enhance the level of Internet security in the background. These secure settings decisions may already be a reality for my device, so thank you in advance/retrospect. 🙏😊

Updating software. My current Trend Micro software has now expired and as the renewal cost is ridiculously high and being a pensioner I bought my new Trend Micro antivirus software from a retailer and when I tried installing it it Trend Micro’s website wouldn’t allow me to install it and wants me to unsubscribe my purchased subscription and use the website’s software. I also had problems installing my existing subscription and when I rang Trend Micro for assistance the tech people installed software giving my PC a virus which had to be removed by a third party at a cost of over $300.

Great app but keep getting ‘one thing to fix’ message. We’ve had Trend on our desktops and laptops for years and really happy. Added to our mobiles a few years ago when they became the more high tech Smart Phones. Only gripe is just lately we’re getting the ‘one thing to fix’ message on a daily basis which has become a source of irritation. This is in the Privacy tab and requires signing into iCloud. Only used to get this message if the phone has been restarted or the app was accidentally closed down. Happens on iPhone and iPad. Hope this is soon fixed, otherwise very everything is great.

Great Products, please keep up with continuous improvements. Hi Guys, I use Trend on all of my Microsoft PC’s and mobile iOS devices, it’s been excellent in keeping us safe with most device security aspects. However, I recently had an experience with a new iMessage “potential scam” on my iPhone that seemed to have rattled me, when I was unable to report the issue back to Trend. This particular iMessage (SMS) only contained an image, nothing else. When I went to report it, the usual normal reporting selection check boxes for marking either “safe” or “spam” would not appear! I was forced to block the incoming phone number and deleted the specific iMessage (SMS). Unfortunately, in haste and panic, I neglected to take a screen shot before deletion. The mobile trend reporting feature seems to work well with iMessages containing texts, as I found out a few day latter when I received another “potential scam message” on my iPhone. Did I do something wrong in dealing with iMessages that only contain images. I’m reluctant to click on any image that is unsolicited and looks very suspect. Your advice and comments would be appreciated.

Licence renewal - works badly. Big deception for me. Had this app working for one year and at renewal date, after it was paid, the app always notified me to renew. Tried to restore my purchase many times without any success. Decided to remove it from my iPhone and lost 26$ for my renewal.

Confusing. First when you go to renew there is no link to input your license code only links to purchase (I already have a code why should I bloody purchase again) Second when I enter the code (finally found it outside of the main site) and done all that they ask it still show the old expiry date. I have wasted the good part of 30 minutes for the processes. Worst site to renew license. Easy to do initial purchase or upgrade but not for bloody renewal

For one thing I can’t renew my membership, for some strange reason. Not very happy with Trend Micro. They took my money for the year and I still can’t access the App, it’s basically useless. Beware.

Scam Artists. I unfortunately purchased trend and paid for a subscription, I was charged but the service was never applied to my account and it just told me my license was expired and tried to get me to pay another subscription even though and I have proof on my bank statement that I paid for the license. Serious waste of money , now I’m out money which I doubt these guys will return to me. You want actual mobile security get something like norton

Works well. Great little system and has helped a lot with hacking and modem protection. I live in Central America and the lack of security for data has created a realm of data theft and ransom as well online bank theft. I definitely recommend this system. Would like to see more constant updates for the early access features. If your internet slows you can change the mode of the unit and adjust to your modem type etc. those that have problems, most likely have not read the manual or actually turned on all features.

Great tool!. The app was easy to download and launched immediately. I like the easy view to see if the sites I am going to are protected.

Subscription problem. I tried the free 14 day trial and then tried to cancel before the auto renew kicked in. I tried to go to the link to cancel the auto renew that the app provided but kept getting “Page not found”. Since the app wouldn’t let me cancel, I contacted Trend’s Support. The support person said he cancelled it for me but today I received an email that I was auto billed for it anyways. Beware of the “Free trial”! NOTE: It looks like the problem is with Apple. Trend Micro has done their part but Apple still billed me. Waiting for a response from Apple.

Works fast & smooth!. I only purchased the license a few hours ago, and I am happy with this security program. - If it goes well, I am thinking of purchasing max-protection plan. I just don’t know if this license will be automatically canceled, or I will have to manually do it!

TrendMicro services. This is the best security program we have ever used for our electronics! They are accessible , most of the time when uou have problems! I am not sure how long we have used this system by TrendMicro but it is for certain over ten years now! Only interference we have ever had with it is from Microsoft!

Web protection keeps turning off. Since I installed the app I noticed that the web protection keeps turning off without noticing. I discover the problem by opening the app and getting the message that I have something to fix. Apart from that it offers an easy to use interface and interesting services essentially needed in the current times.

A poorly integrated suite. It seems that these are multiple stand-alone products rather than an integrated suite. Some parts of the suite fight against each other eg installing multiple VPN onto the device. Any support is also on a tool be tool basis. In other words, not recommended.

Thankful for the app!. Just think it’s a little expensive to renew. I know work goes into making, maintaining and updating, but it was $35 dollars more than the original setup.

Blocks internet access along with apps access.. Recently, my wife and I have had issues loading safari and programs would wait to connect to servers for several minutes. Meanwhile, I will check settings and notice that the program did not acknowledge doing so. At this point, we have uninstalled Trend Micro from our iPads.

Software Renewal Failed. I recently renewed my software license on my PC and the web site said that the license for my iPad and iPhone were also renewed. When I checked my IOS devices, I could not renew the licenses on those devices. I even tried uninstalling and reviewing transferring the license without success.

Trend Micro. I have used Trend Micro for approximately 8 years in my computers, both work and personal. To date, I have never had an issue. To me it was natural to protect my I-Phone with the same great Virus protection. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Complete hacker relief. I was hacked for two years and had done every possible thing there was to protect my devises. Then I discovered trend and from the moment I turned on the app, all my devices went quiet and the torture stoped!!! Crashes. I just bought the yearly subscription, my Apple account was billed, but every time I try to login the app crashes. I went to the app community support page, entered my passes order, (which I did repeatedly, checking each character entry for correctness), and a message tells me that I have entered an invalid password. Please resolve immediately or return my payment. This does not speak well for your security or utility.

Problem My phone keeps telling me I’m not covered but I am. It won’t go away.. For the first time I cannot cover my other device. Totally frustratedly phone keeps !!!

Trend micro mobile. I like trend micro for the pc. For mobile not do much. It ate my battery rather quick and denied access to my regular web sites. It also would not turn off as i selected it to do. It kept resetting itself to the on position. I like being able to scan the phone but all the rest make it just not worth it. I eventually deleted the app and things returned to “normal”, i hope.

Way better than other ones I've paid more for. It's been good so far and been better than other ones like log dog and stuff I've paid more for in the past

Disappointing. For some reason you can’t setup 2 subscriptions on same apple account or share same. I have iPad and iPhone on same account and my iPad subscription prevents the apple store from selling another subscription for the iPhone so you can have one This doesn’t make any sense. Have to move both to another program

Protection. Love that the app protects my laptop and phone from dangerous web sites and has a password protected. It saves my passwords and stores them where they are safe and I can find them when I need them.

Happy to have this. Trend Micro is making me feel more secure. I’m glad buying it for my laptop entitled me to have it on my cell and iPad but I had to download the app again when I had a little problem with VPN and it’s working fine now

VPN blocking internet access. For some reason the most recents app versions has been very unstable with the result of randomly blocking my internet access. It could be on the server side where the problem lies. Edit: It has been a couple of weeks since the above was posted and it has essentially stopped working. When the VPN is on I have no internet access. It just keeps on turning itself on and off blindingly fast.

What can I say? It works!. It works in the background so well that it catches malicious ads that look genuine from various well known companies. I have even had to warn friends that have sent me bad ads.

Ease to Use and Peace of Mind. Software did all work for you in very comfortable way. Even IPads could can get hit. Peace of mind from a very, very top rated site that was monetarily pleasing for $ .18 a day ! Yeah do the math.

Fraud buster continues to give fix messages when it is enabled.. I’ve used trend micro for a while however, it continues to be a problem on my phone and on my PC which still continues to give a pop-up message that something is disabled when it is not. On my phone fraud buster is enabled but the program continually tells me to fix it. Not liking it.

Good job. Working well so far but please fix the situation where nest camera app crashes each time I want to view my home. Each time I have to disable web guard to use nest camera app which is not convenient. Anytime I disable web guard, I always forgot to re-enable it back. Please fix this.

TrendMicro Mobile. I love that it protects from unwanted sexual content and even secured my social media accounts for me as I direct it to. The lost/stolen locater feature is also handy. I’m liking the security features so far.

Happy customer. I have Trend Micro on my desktop and laptops, now installed on my mobile devices — so far, it’s great. I travel a lot for business and sometimes need to use WiFi at hotels and airports. Having the VPN makes my devices much less vulnerable on those insecure networks.

VPN blocks too many legitimate apps and websites. VPN blocks apps / websites such as Venmo or WSJ. And even more annoyingly, that’s occasional, not always. In other words, those websites sometimes works with no problem with VPN one day, and they don’t in another day. I don’t know what is causing this issue, but I hope the developers will find a solution to prevent this from happening.

Feeling Safe. I’ve used Trend Micro for several years now and I always feel that my devices are safe from unwanted viruses and scams. I highly recommend it for all of your home needs and work.

Well I’d user data and profiting off of its paying, subscribing users?. I’ve tried to turn off the setting which requires me to re-start it in order to track my data—the app’s wording. There is no ability by users to control it. I don’t need an app to track my usage, and it begins to feel exceptionally Big Brother when an app designed to protect me against incoming threats wants to monitor outgoing traffic or amounts of data which I consume.

Trend iPhone security. Easy to use and check for problems. Only takes about 15 seconds to run its course to give me results that says I’m protected and have no problems to fix. It gives me pease of mind.

Stopped annoying pop ups. There were some annoying pop ups that had infected many sites. Using the Trend keep them from popping.

Protection is a 5 star. I like the other products from this company.. I think that this company is getting better all the time.

Just setting up the app has me a little concerned.. Why do you want me to login to my social media accounts and apple accounts and to make the idea of giving a 3rd party login creds to my accounts even more sketchy, they take you to the page in their app so you can verify the url to make sure it really is apples site. That is security 101 stuff. If i didnt get trendmicro free from a security conference i would waste my time.

Used it many years. I love the program but have trouble getting it to work right every time I have to update it on my Mac and other apple products. It would be perfect if not for that issue.

VPN. Your latest update seems to have messed up VPN as it constantly turns on and off and as a result phone constantly says it is connected to the Internet or not connected to the Internet. Please fix it as soon as possible.

Works great and provides protection!. Highly recommend anyone with multiple mobile devices and accounts to get this app to protect you from the malicious, Phishing and malware activity. You just never know what you might click on and last thing you want is to be compromised.

VPN doesn’t work. VPN doesn’t work because when I do a speed test and it shows the provider/location none of it changed, I checked online and my IP is the Same. If you came to this app expecting the VPN to work sorry… but their VPN App does Work for one week and then you need to buy it. Not one Star because it probably does it’s Job but it isn’t a VPN. So to my Fellow VPN Hunters this one isn’t it.

Awesome!. Have used this for quite a few years now and haven’t had one incident. I’m really impressed by the thoroughness of their watchfulness. It was easy to set up, easy to maintain. I wouldn’t be without it!

Excellent App, really.... Truly an amazing antivirus/VPN software, so good that (they) had to steal my physical laptop just to get my information. However, I am currently having difficulties installing it on my new laptop due to slowness from Windows. But ultimately this antivirus will cover all bases like no other..

Trend micro. My son was a Lt Col in army intelligence and recommended I use this software on my home computer and mobile phone— and not Kaspersky which I had been using on my computer. I couldn’t be happier w/ this software- it’s ease to use and the complete coverage it has given me.

Bumping the VPN issue.. Hi. I’m also having the issue where VPN constantly disconnects me whether I’m using wifi or just cellular data. Hopefully there’s a fix ASAP. Also did want to say that I’ve submitted my info to your team already, and they’re looking into it.

Usual security checks. The only good thing is it blocks phishing sites from your phone. Other then that it’s pretty much useless except for a VPN. Honestly, I think in this day in age Apple should allow anti-virus scans for their iPhones. Considering safari now has a download manager. These things are just as vulnerable as androids at the moment.

Best security app ever. I received Micro Trend with my Apple computer 5 years ago. It allowed for 1 year free. Had to buy it after that one year and have used it ever since. I have my MacBook Air, my iPhone 11 Pro Max and my iPad Pro. Never had any issues with any of them.

Wasn’t familiar. I’d never used Trend Micro since getting involved with personal computing using one of two competitors for years. But I feel I hit the mother lode when I purchased Trend Micro for my consulting business. I’ve traveled to world and know that Trend Micro has my laptops fully protected.
