Team App needs to add “liking” to messages in the chat. I use Team App for my Nordic ski team and I find that it works incredibly well for our needs/purposes. I am always able to find the information I need easily and it is super helpful to stay in the loop!! The one criticism I have for team App, however, is that they really need to add the ability to like messages in the chats on the app. This would be very convenient in terms of holding team wide votes, getting opinions, and expressions general agreement. Please consider adding this to the next update as it will be very beneficial.

We LOVE this APP!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We have tried several different apps to manage our youth football teams (my husband coaches 3 youth teams)! This is by far the best one out there right now and it’s FREE!! 👍 🏈You can customize it with your logo and multiple teams. 🏈You can easily upload pics. 🏈You can create groups and add new people to the same chat later without having to create a new group. 🏈You can easily communicate with parents and players. 🏈It notifies everyone via the app and email- which is great if they have turned off notifications! 🏈Easy to add and delete members. 👎 🏈If you are typing a message (usually the long instructional messages) and the phone rings you will lose everything you’ve typed immediately even if you don’t answer and have to do it all over again. The work around is to type everything in notes or in a text and copy and paste in the app when you are ready to post.

Everything in one place - Great!. This app allows links to related websites, like spirit-wear, cheer teams, Facebook, franchise websites, and sponsors. It allows for all documents and all links to documents in one place. It would be infinitely better if documents could be deleted or if access to documents could be changed AFTER they are created. I had numerical docs set up for ease to release on specific dates, with specific access in mind, only to find later that the docs were permanently inaccessible to non-administrators. I can load everything twice, but I think that Team App support might find a way to fix this issue for the benefit of everyone using the app. In all fairness, I haven’t spoken with support about it yet, but this was probably a foreseeable problem. There are so many great things about the app that make it useful, such as ability to add links to maps of playing field locations, team schedules, scores, etc. I have only begun to get all of the functions working, and people are amazed at how nice it is to have everything in one place. I’m hoping the functions will get even better in time. Other than the documents access problems, this app is terrific.

Love this app. Its a great app. Easy to use, simple to communicate with the team and coordinators, and when supported by the team officals it’s up to the minute info that makes schedule changes for games and practices very convenient. I just started using this app for my grade school boys and their school cross country team. My three kids are big in sports, two different schools, two separate community sports groups, three separate sports activities. I just wish ALL of my kids sports programs and coaches were using this app!

Pop Up Ads & Notifications. I like the app except that often it takes a while for it to recognize that I have read the latest updates so my red dot 🔴 for notifications stays highlighted and I dislike all the pop up advertisements that have nothing to do with soccer. I find both of these things to be annoying. Other then those two items it’s great. Easy to use and navigate in. I do wish there was a way to search for a key word in your messages/ chats. Since we use the messenger / chat part of the app often information shared gets lost deep into a message and you forget which chat a parent / coach stated something in.

Very Helpful Team Tool!!!. As a parent and a person with multiple kids in multiple sports, this is the best app I have been able to utilize by far. There have been several other applications that I have been exposed to, and utilized, and this is by far the best! I was sent an invite by my kid’s coach, I am able to see the schedule (the team has different age groups), that schedule hooks up with the calendar on my phone, and makes changes when the coaches do, I am able to chat with my child’s coaches and different parents, as well as our team’s parent group chat. It’s easy to confirm that I’m going to be there. There are many other capabilities that the team Has not yet utilized, because games aren’t schedule yet, but I’ve been utilizing this for a couple of months and it’s the best application that I have had to use to schedule team activities. Keep up the good work!!

Terrible app. If you like a slow running app that doesn’t take away notifications not only in the app but also on the home screen badges after you have looked at the notification several times. Then this is the app for you. I have to constantly check the app to make sure i haven’t missed something because once an update is opened and read it does not take the notification away. EVER. I’ve re installed several times and it still does not function properly. It’s also not user friendly. You get what you pay for here kids. If you’re cheap and need a so so app to sort of kinda keep things organized then by all means use this. TeamSnap all the way. Group me is also not the same type of app but for just keeping info in one spot for teams it works better than this one.

So far it’s just ok. I feel that overall the app developers aren’t sure how far to take some features. Some are super detailed and others aren’t robust enough. I appreciate the app is trying to be customizable, but too much isn’t actually helpful. I did have a hard time with repeating events in the calendar and trying to edit them. If I’m the person publishing a newsletter I shouldn’t also receive a notification when the post happens. The whole setting up a team, then adding teams on top of it, is confusing. Our whole organization doesn’t use the app, just our team, but I had to basically set it up like I was running it for the organization to make the features work. I feel like where Team Reach was too simple, Team App is too complicated. Remember these apps are typically updated by team managers or coaches who more often than not have a full time job and don’t have time to become an app expert.

Takes some practice. Keeping up with teens and sports can be a challenge! Team App gives us the flexibility to adjust team notes, schedules, rosters, and practices on the fly! Easy for group members to access and use. Being a team manager for a soccer club, I use this as our main line of communication. It does take some practice to get the hang of everything and how to use efficiently. One suggestion is to allow multiple picture uploads for the galleries. The “groups” function is probably the most difficult to maneuver but eventually figured it out. Well done and like, just some polishing to be flawless!

Calendar syncing does not function. I am a GPS MA parent. After a mighty struggle, I finally was able to link Team App to my Google calendar. This should be much easier. Now I notice that when events are added or changed by the coach, the new events do not show up on my google calendar. This is a basic functionality of an app for a sports team. Knowing when and where to show up is essential. Please get this sorted out. I agree with the previous reviewer, Teamsnap is a much better product. Not as much clicking up and down through windows, calendar syncing, website/ app syncing. Teamsnap is well worth the $100/team. Syncing with Google calendar continues to be a problem. Getting this basic feature right is so easy on Teamsnap and other platforms is seamless. I continue to be totally disappointed with h Team App.

Some positives/hard to find things. The interface looks good, and appears to function well as designed. However it is difficult to keep track of things as a parent because you have too many places to look for things. It seems as though there are too many ways to enter things that aren't easy to find if your not the person that entered them. There is a news, event, gallery and schedule area. All of which have comment sections. If you want to see the latest updates or catch up on things you have to guess how the item was entered then go to the comments on each individual entry or scroll through the list of notifications that you get for each time someone adds a comment to anything, cheers a photo, or adds content. Seems like a message board would be easier to quickly view "messages" and find out updates.

Great Way to Communicate with Parets. We have been using this app for almost 2yrs now. It's great because we can communicate with our targeted audience and send relevant information out. We also use it to advertise up coming vents. It is a great way to list reference material for our parents and students. Parents like it because they don't have to give out personal information to be informed. I like it because we can send text notifications directly to parents. It is very easy to update and add new members. Gilbert ATA Martial Arts

Dance team review. I like most things on this app so far. I do wish we could post videos up to 2-2 1/2 min since that’s how long a dance routine is. So when evaluating, it’s hard to do because we have to break up the video into small sections and post multiple videos. Also, I wish there was a section that was an excel type spreadsheet that was usable. And i wish I could see who sees stuff and who doesn’t. Even in the chat, it shows the first few people who see it and then it turns to a number of people and you can’t click on it to see which people seen it so I’m not sure who misses seeing my posts. I love the calendar/events section. It is so great for keeping everyone on track and organized, especially with the reminders. I’m still learning new things on the app and finding ways to utilize it to work for my needs.

Athletes and parents are kept in the loop. Our track coach uses this app. It is a perfect way to keep us all informed with easy access to the sports schedule, coaches’ phone numbers, and rules (found in the document folder). We are informed of schedule changes, bus times for leaving school and arriving home, due dates for things like team pictures and uniform hand in, and more. I don’t have to worry about missing information from my child because the coach sends the same messages out for parents and athletes. I’m pretty sure the coach now gets very few phone calls because the information that we need is found within the app.

Just what we needed!. Our homeschool parents are on the go a lot and are using smart phones for everything. They rarely get a chance to sit down at a computer so we needed a communication system that could all be done in a smart phone. This is it. It loads lots of pictures and videos quickly right from my phone without the hassle of navigating Facebook. This is very easy to use. Parents are getting a ding on their phones when new events are posted to the calendar and also a reminder the day before it takes place. Very effective!

99% Great App. I migrated to Team App from Team Snap to avoid the expensive fees and have been pretty happy. I was a little confused at first on how to set up my parents for communication versus my team roster but I figured it out. I like that I can customize my dashboard with a fun team graphic and for parents to easily find our schedule, roster, chat, news, gallery, custom link to our league site for standings, etc. That covers everything that’s most important. My only complaints are that you can only upload 1 video and 3 images to the gallery (pretty tough to cover a game in just 3 images), but more importantly, when you receive a notice for a calendar update, selecting the update notice takes you to today on the calendar - not to the date of the update - so you’re on your own for figuring out where exactly the change is. Relatively minor, but things that should be addressed to make the app 5 stars.

Works ok. App was chosen by Baseball coach for my sons team, primarily to assist in managing schedules. We have also used team snap with an older son. Seems to work fine for its purpose, although I wish all our coaches would use the same app so I didn’t need to have separate ones on my phone and switch between them constantly. That said, I find team snap easier to navigate. My primary issue with team app is just that it feels like I have to drill down so many times just to find the schedule - pick the team, pick the schedule, and then pick the team again. Feels very repetitive and annoying. Only takes an additional second, but it just feels cumbersome.

Team App. Team App is a one stop shop for those teams looking to have a well laid out and coherent communication plan. We have a wrestling club that has three different teams at three different levels from High School, Middle School to our youth program and the app can distinguish amongst the three allowing us to put out information specifically to one team out of our three or all of them together. Team App also provides the ability to link to our Social Media platforms and our particular website. We here at the Firestone Wrwstling Program recommend Team App-

Subscription or purchase to eliminate ads would be worthwhile feature. The app functions well enough: I don’t see huge differences in functionality or design between this app and others like Team Snap. What has gotten worse is the ease with which one triggers an ad. I get there needs to be a revenue model, but offering users the chance to opt out of ads for a purchase or subscription would be most welcome. The two stars is because I have spent too much time already flicking away ads when trying to access information. And also, alerts no longer make it clear what’s changed so far in my experience.

Ugh. The Ads. Works well to manage team communication. However, every now and then I’ll open the app to read a message or check the schedule and an ad immediately starts playing. An ad without a mute option on the screen, therefore, the sound cannot be quickly stopped. An ad with sound that startles me so that I juggle my phone like I’m auditioning for the circus trying to turn the volume down manually. It’s like the Russian roulette of app opening; will an ad start or will it not. It is like those canned biscuits that pop open before you can get the wrapping off. If you use the version with ads and you are startled easily, make sure to silence your phone before opening the app. It will save you’re heart from a few skipped beats, possibly extending your life.

Love this app. I have a Girl Scout troop. We tried so many different ways including many apps to try and find a way to stay organized and keep all parents informed. We failed many times but since finding team app it has been so much easier to organize our troop and activities. Plus we have found many other troops and even the main Girl Scouts uses this app so it also makes it easy to communicate with other troops on activities and the best part of all is the help at cookie time when there is questions. Thank you for such a great app!

Better than Texting for Men’s Softball Team. Having players indicate whether they can make the game or not is a real pain for the coach when texting. The number of group or individual texts is hard to organize and manage. In Team App, all answers are recorded and listed. If a team member has not responded, a simple touch on the screen sends another notice to only those who have not responded. Also, all team members can see the list, which helps them know whether they can take a night off or be certain to play because otherwise, we would not have enough players.

I left Team Snap and saved my parents $$$ with Team App. Team App is so much better than Team Snap and BEST is that it's free! My parents had to pay for Team Snap. I am using it to add videos I've taken at games and at practice to teach the kids. 50+ teams in my town league and team app works perfect as one app for the whole league. Coaches can push notifications to their team. And the league can push notifications to coaches or all parents as needed. The parade was cancelled this morning due to rain and every parent on team app had an alert on their smart phone as a PUSH NOTIFICATION. Awesome!

Terrific app. This app has been SO helpful! I do school sports and activity’s and my teachers/coaches use this app to communicate with us. We can ask questions and get quick answers just like texting you can see who on the team/class etc has seen it. It’s been helpful with sports bc my coaches can send out things to tell when times change, practice is canceled or moved, and any other reminders or announcement. This easy to work and simple app is highly recommended by me. My one and only complaint is that if you have a big group sometimes it can get annoying when your phones blowing up😂😂😂 all in all this is a great app 👍🏼👍🏼

HATE this app!. I hate using this app! Random ads pop up when I am trying to click to either read a message from a coach, or go back to the previous menu to click to a different team. I HATE having to wait for an ad to get done just to read what time practice gets done tomorrow. It is not very user friendly, I have a hard time navigating between different sports and each coach has their sport group set up a little different, so even on the same app, I can’t contact each coach the same way. Ugh - I have SIX apps just for contacting coaches/teachers for my kids in school, and this one is my least favorite. Maybe I’m just irritated at having to use so many stupid apps for stuff we could LITERALLY JUST PUT IN AN EMAIL OR GROUP TEXT, but for real - the frequent ad pop ups are the worst.

Please make links easier in chat!. My complaints: 1) there isn't an option to go back and search/find information in the chat efficiently, 2) you cannot send video links in chat & sending a video directly is distorted and 3) a web link sent in the chat isn't easily accessible from a device, you can only link directly from a computer. This needs to be fixed. It's a major drawback. My team has to type the whole thing out into a web browser. It won't even let them copy and paste. ☹️ Having said that, this app still makes communicating with my team and parents simple. We use it mostly for the chat groups, documents, and events tabs. All information can be quickly updated for everyone, which is a bonus. I love that it can a accessed by mobile regardless of the software, as well as online. That's makes it convenient for kids that do not have phones or {heaven forbid} get grounded from their phones! 😉 If the three things listed above were to be fixed, I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Very Good App. I like this app because it allows you to update on any device and it has a website for your team with all the same set of features. I used it for managing 3 basketball teams and now for managing a softball team. A real nice feature is that you can customize the names of the buttons. For instance, instead of the default 'Events,' I renamed it 'Schedule' because it also allows parents and players to sync the practices and games to their own device calendar or to their Google calendar. One thing I would like to see: capture/display final score of games. What I'm doing in those instances is going back to the game and changing the title to either "win" or "loss" with the final score. It would be nice to display the team record on the front page of screen of the app. Another feature might be showing an update on the first screen in the app of the next 1-2 events or the next events coming up on the schedule for the weekend. That would be a good way to help parents and players plan for upcoming weekend activities. But I highly recommend this app!!

Great app but could use a few tweaks. This app was recommended by a parent for our team who had had as good experience with it for another team. . The good: - Easy to set up. I set it up fort or team in about 10 minutes. - Easy to customize. Super easy to use with lots of customizations possible. You can relabel buttons on the app to fit your team's needs. The not-so-good: - Not enough flexibility in setting up buttons. There are currently spots for three "links" buttons, which is not enough for me. I think every button should offer the admin the option of taking you to a link or a photo or a file. - The app doesn't allow the same degree of customization as the web version. And the mobile web version doesn't offer the same options as the desktop version. We often don't know where to find live scores, heat sheets, etc until the day of our event, so on-the-fly edits are essential. Sometimes we'll need to link to a url, sometimes a doc, and sometimes I'll just take a photo of it. Overall, I have had a good experience with TeamApp, but I hope they can make it just a little bit better.

Don't auto delete notifications!. Great ap all around; would rate it four or five stars. However, it's very, very, very frustrating that notifications are automatically deleted after they've been viewed - especially when they contain event times and dates. Leave viewed notifications in the notification screen, and then give users the ability to save or delete them. I'm not sure why the developers don't understand this, and I can't think of another ap that does this with notifications. Most of the time, it is easier to view dates and times in a notification, instead of having to tap through three or four screens to view the same info. Especially when the ap is being utilized for a large organization with several teams across multiple age groups.

Way too many bugs. I use this app simply because this is the platform the school I work for has chosen to use to communicate with students. I really dread using this app. There are so many bugs it hinders the use of the app itself. For instance, whenever an add pops up the whole app crashes and I have to restart. The notifications are wonky and red dots will appear even though you have already cleared it. When posting on events or on the calendar a lot of times it will not go through completely and will have to add it several times before it gets posted. Other than the massive amount of bugs it’s not a bad app and has a lot of potential if the app worked more smoothly. The app is completely updated so devs PLEASE don’t tell me to download latest update, just PLEASE fix the app.

Not User Friendly. Every time I get a notification I go in and there is no new measage at the top and I can’t see any noticeable changes. Then a week later I was reading through messages and noticed some I had missed, and the info. would’ve been useful at the time but I didn’t see it in time. My son showed up for a game he wasn’t supposed to be in, so he wasted his time getting ready and driving over there for nothing. I wish the app was more user-friendly and easy to follow as new messages come in. As it is now I can’t tell which messages are new or unread. I also hate the ads that show up in the feed. I don’t want my son’s game messages mixed with advertisements! It’s such a hassle, almost not worth even having the app.

Love with one suggestion. I am the head coach of a high school volleyball in a small school. I made one team for all levels but made different access groups within it. JV:Varsity Players, JV/Varsity Parents, JH Players, JH Parents, Elementary Players, Elementary Parents, Support Staff(administration, community stakeholders, and others that are involved with our program in other ways), Coaches amd Senior Players. You can link the players with their parents. I love many things about it. The only reason I give it a 4 is I wish that we could put the scores next to the corresponding games in our schedule. Also, I wish there was an option to put stats for kids to look at. I still have a lot to learn on features but i love this communication tool! Also, it is nice that when you message the player access group, it automatically goes to the parents as well so it keeps communication professional between players and coaches always. However, if you need to only communicate with the parents, you can message only the parents. Love this app!

Almost Perfect. As a club director over several teams, I love having everything in one place. The app Is user friendly and offers just about anything we could ever want. However, the two biggest sources of frustration for me is that my restricted admins cannot edit anything I create. Since I create 99% of the our teams information, editing also falls into my lap. It would be much less stressful for the restricted admins to be allowed to make edits. Instead they can only go and recreate a new event entirely, but this can be confusing for users as they may not know which event is accurate. Another major headache for me is that there isn’t an option when editing to choose for that event only or all future events. This creates so much extra work for me because 1) I either have to create each individual practice for every team or 2) I have to remember to go back after each edited event to re-edit the future events. These seem like two easy fixes that would make your users management so much easier and smoother. Speaking for myself, this two issues almost make me want to give zero stars.

Great App Overall. For the most part, I like this app. There are so many things I like about it, but let me tell you about the things I don’t like. The chat seems to update very slow, and sometimes sends double messages or half messages. They end up clearing up later, but us a pain when communicating instantly. I have to keep refreshing. Also, I should be able to edit my messages if I make a mistake on describing something to my team, I should not have to completely retype it. Also, I could not find a way to change scheduled practices to games without changing everything in the future due to recurring events. I should be able to select to not change other events. It was easy to enter all our practice dates recurring, then it was a nightmare to later change some of those dates to matches without affecting everything in the future on that day. Other than that, I would gladly give a 5th star if these issues were fixed.

So so soccer app. Not sure about this one. I've worked with 3 different apps and I don't think this one is the most user friendly. First off, can't figure out how to adjust notifications so that they don't make noise. Turns out receiving tons of updates to schedules in sound form is not ideal for most people. Also, I'm not sure if our club set it up incorrectly so it may be user error but we don't have just our team, we have everyone's team in our entire region. It would be much easier if we could only see our own team because it just doesn't make any sense to see and to be able to rsvp to all other teams. And to be chided by the coaches when folks respond to the wrong team... not well thought out from a user standpoint

Great app!. I wish that the notifications weren’t so glitchy though! It will show notifications all the time that don’t exist??? Also the timestamps aren’t right on when people send messages. It will say 8:44 a.m. when it was sent and 7:44 a.m. which I don’t get, and no my time zone setting is NOT wrong. I checked. thanks for doubting my intelligence. Anyways please fix these things, other than that I really do recommend this app for your team. It makes it so simple to communicate with your people! Thank you team app!

Needs option to see alerts without sounds. Only two options exist. 1. Turn on notifications which generates an audible notification whenever anyone on your team comments or updates and you get a number on app of how many activities you missed. 2. Turn off notifications where you don’t get even the number of activities overlaid on the app icon. You get the fun of having to open the app and drill down to each team to see if any new activities occurred based on time stamps. 😤 Please add a middle ground. I don’t want to hear the audible when my drunk teammates are having a conversation at midnight but I need to know when important activities may have been added.

Good app, but why the ads?. I’ve used this app for almost a year, and it’s been very helpful. My work uses it to communicate to its employees since there are two locations, and so far it’s been quite useful and a great means of mass communication. My one complaint is that the app has recently started showing ads which tend to pop up as your reading an important message. It’s quite annoying, and it seems as though your on a gaming app that is paid by ads rather than an app used for teams and professional businesses. Just be aware of the trade-offs when choosing whether or not to use this app.

Amazing!. The Team App helps me stay organized and keep my team informed of everything they need to know about upcoming events! The calendar of events has everything in one spot! Very easy to use and to teach other how to use! If I had one negative is that the photo gallery sometimes doesn’t work as well as I know it could. There are times where you can only load one pic at a time. But that is a little thing compared to all the other awesome stuff the app does!

Great app & support. This is the first time I have ever given a 5 star rating on an app. I have used many apps For my travel baseball team over 4 years in business & I stumbled on this app hunting for a more customizable app. On top of being free, it provides way to generate brand income & promote my sponsors. I am extremely happy with this app & have now moved all my teams to this one app. If you have used team snap, game changer or other sport apps I highly recommend trying this one. Worth the effort. On top of these points I am a ‘questions asker’ & their customer support has been great & timely. Thank you

An Awesome Tool for Busy Coaches. I have been using TeamApp for about 5 years and it has really helped my organizational skills coaching teams year round in 2 or 3 sports. Information, documents, directions, schedules, and direct chats can all be found in a central location so parents and players aren’t hunting for emails or texts the day of practices and games. I would recommend this app to any coach that wants to focus on coaching and worry less about communication logistics when on the field and/or court.

Notifications are Confusing. The idea behind is is great. The biggest problem is the notifications on the mobile app. They are very confusing to follow as every post is displayed as a single message and it is not super clear what conversation it ties back to. If should be more of a Facebook style .. since if 30 people respond to notification ... you get 30 notifications in your “inbox” and you need to delete them all individually to avoid clutter and only keep the initial notification from Coach. Plus each team posts games/practices a different way so it is confusing. I have heard many parents say there are too many notifications for this reason and turn off.

Team App? More like Team Crapp. Mediocre and diseased with ads. It has some decent features, like scheduling, chat, and the ability to post picture galleries, but those features are poorly executed, almost to the point of not being functional. Hokey feel all around. I’d rather use an app where you can start a GROUP with you and ME (no ads and a simpler interface that does all the same things). Update: Oh look, they responded! Totally relevant response. “Oh you don’t like the ads? Pay us and they will go away.” No mention of how the chat function, schedule function, and notification system all operate like a 5 year old designed it. Update #2: Oh look, another response. Why email feedback when we can just do it here? My feedback: delete the app and use groupme instead, which is simpler, more user-friendly, less hokey, more responsive, has no ads, and does everything yours does but better. My kid’s coach insists on using your app, otherwise I would never use it

Good team organization app. This app is very useful. My parents and I are loving it! I would like to have a way to attach the names of my archers to their parents. When the parents register for the app, they only enter their name and there is no place to enter their child’s name. I would also like to be able to see all who have viewed messages and who has given “cheers“ to the gallery pictures. I’m also having trouble figuring out how to give access to certain parts just to coaches and other parts just to parents. I see how to build the groups but it’s not clear on how to assign the groups to the different sections of the app.

Best app hands down!. I run 3 bowling leagues and have been using this app for a little over a year now. I tested and tried many different apps before selecting this one and I sure am glad I did. I can customize pretty much everything and it’s FREE! Only issue I’ve run into is getting some of the parents to actually download it and use it, but that’s not the apps fault. LOL It’s very user friendly, behind the scenes though has a learning curve. I just kept playing around with settings and trying different things to see how it would appear to members. I’ve had to reach out to support and they promptly responded and helped walk me through the problem I was having. I can’t say enough good things about this app as is surpasses everything out on the market for team organization! Download it!! You need it more then you think you do!

Really Useful App. I coach 3 levels of volleyball and have 3 Team App pages that I manage for my teams. This app is very user friendly and I’m able to do a lot of customization to fit our needs. There have been times when i needed help and emailed customer support And I’ve received a response in less than 24 hours. There are a couple features I’d like to see such as being able to see a list of all members who have viewed a particular message. It will show the first five if so people but once additional members view the message, it will just tell how many have seen it. I’d also like the ability to send the same message across all teams but the simple fix is just to cut and paste. I tried about 10 apps before choosing one. I had 3 members of my family download all the finalists and everyone thought this was the best one. And it’s free. My daughter is on other teams which use two different apps and they are not nearly as good or functional. Basically just a glorified text thread. Not Team App. It has so many other features. As an admin, I just had to play around with it to figure out all it can do and I’m certain I still have things to learn. I just hope they never remove the app or the support. It’s really a fantastic app for coaches and families.

Not just for teams!. Been using this app for 1 1/2 years for our non profit organization to have one place for announcements, updates, links, and a calendar. It has it all. We can’t afford the cost to get rid of ads, but ads don’t interfere with performance at all, distraction but not a problem. What I like is that it is also usable online so if someone doesn’t have a device they can still keep updated via website. The only option I’d like to see is the ability to change the reply options; currently it’s No, Maybe, Yes...I would like the option to customize those replies. Like I said, fully functional app...private chats, pictures, really great!

Not worth it. This app is painful. I don’t know why our soccer program switched to it, and any cost savings is not worth it. There is no roster to see who is on the team. We can’t even email the coach, and I found myself in a position where I did not have any contact info for the coach since he always uses the chat function, but we needed a private message to just the coach. Our team cannot manage player availability so each game requires an annoying chat where each player responds if they will be there, and my phone lights up all day as each response causes a notification. If I turn off notifications, I might miss something important.

Mostly good, except for “new” status indicator. It’s ok, but could be much better especially since I’m forced into using it b/c my child’s school uses it. As a parent, the more I have to use this app with multiple “teams”, the more annoying it gets because the red “new” indicator on various things only changes when you click into a screen with indicators, not when you go back up from sub items to the screen with indicators. Downgrading my rating of this app from 3 stars to 2 stars after using for a while, specifically due to the bugs involving the indicators. ** Updated review. My comment to developer reply: good info, but clicking the bell icon to mark all as read will mark all read in all teams; there is no option to mark all read in just ONE specific team.

This app is terrible.. This app is terrible. Falls short in many ways. 1) Can't easily find a team membership directory of players and parents. Instead the directory includes some players from our team and random other players from other unrelated teams. 2) Availabilities is awkward and frustrating. You can't easily update availabilities. InsteAd you have to go into individual events and you can't see which dates you have updated for availability unless going back into the event, causing you to go into the event again and again to double check whether you have updated that event. 3) Event (Calendar) will show new event, but it is hard to find the new event. Sometimes the new event doesn't show so you really never know if you have a new event without scrolling through the entire calendar. 4) Ads. We get served ads which is just frustrating. My other children's teams use Team Snap which is heads and shoulders much better. Calendar, Events, Roster and player list are all easy to navigate. I wish this GPS would also consider Team Snap and get rid of this cumbersome awkward piece of junk. No I don't work for Team Snap. Just a frustrated percent.

Today’s update - a big step backwards 😩. The old colour branding (green and black, definitely not my fav colours, but…) made Team App stand out on my busy Home Screen - was fantastic. New colours look like Superman (which is cool) but no longer stand out which is a big step backwards for the app and makes it frustrating and time consuming to locate the App. Even a quick visual check for new notifications is now difficult. Overall Boohoo 👻 for the new colours. Whilst I do Love the new style for events with the inclusion of a monthly calendar, would be better if upcoming events were still shown in a list below the calendar rather than having to click a particular date to find out what’s coming up. Overall Boohoo 👻 for the events page as without a quick-glance list of upcoming events surely some will get missed. Ultimately, club life is now harder to manage with these updates 😭😩😭

Can't access info!!. I can't access the documents tab which is a crucial part of our team communication. And yes I had already been into settings and selected the group that I needed to access and it's still not working. I even had the team administration check that I had done it correctly and they don't understand why it's not working either. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but that also didn't work.

Great for Scouting.. We were aware that communication, both out to parents and feedback from them, was problematic in my Scout section. Emails weren’t being read or ignored. Facebook didn’t work, because some parents refuse to try social media, and the non-leader admin of our FB group page is an obstructionist nut-job. (Hmm...It seems my inner monologue is broken.) This was recommended by a friend. team App does pretty much everything I needed. It’s easy to set up and has more practical functionality than I expected. For Scouts and Girl Guide groups, I’d recommend giving it a go.

Much easier. Been using the team app now for a few months and it making life as team manager so much easier. I love having everything regarding the team all in one place. My only negatives so far are that it would be great to be able to see who has opened and read messages because they don’t always respond. Also, I manually added our players using the csv spreadsheet but because they haven’t logged in to team app itself it doesn’t bring them up in all my lists for surveys and chats etc. Loving everything else about it and finding it easy to use. Well done, brilliant idea.

Love it. The only problem I have is when they loose their sign in details or get a new phone, they start a new profile & I can’t merge them so end up with 2 names for that person. I can delete the first but I’m not sure if that will delete their name in games played previously as well? I’ve used this app for 3 basketball seasons & love how easy it is & the players get the info directly & being able to receive messages without credit using internet helps as there is so many free wifi areas now & players can let me no they are running late or not attending.

Still a little clunky. Use ability still a little clunky Would be nice if it remembered your group (especially if you only have 1) rather than having to click back into it each time Notifications are too hard to close down or silence. Should drop off one viewed, instead you have to click the link then refresh the page to get them to drop off. Changing from events, calendar etc require you to go back (reload) the home page. Seem a little antiquated.

Avoid like the plague - totally inappropriate advertising. I'm so sick of the way the Team app create innovative ways for its advertisers to maximise deceitful and manipulative attempts to trick users into accessing product links or downloading apps. The latest today was a pop-up designed very cleverly to mimick a warning message from your settings app, making plainly untrue alarming statements about storage space having run out (which thankfully I know is far from the case) and attempting to panic me into downloading some storage organising app. Considering the complete lack of appropriate discernment in the sort of advertising that Team allows it is entirely conceivable for this storage app to have been a malicious attempt to hack my phone. These people have no business being allowed to sell apps on the App Store, atrocious.

Easy to use and effective. A handy go to app for clubs, schools groups! You can use for effective team comms via chat and email. Create as many links to other websites and social media accounts as you like! Newsletter etc etc. I think once the user gets a feel for it, you’d do everything associated with the club through this app. Works well on iOS iPad and iPhone and Mac computer. A bit of thought and work to set up desired groups teams etc but well worth it. Tip: for extra web links create a new document with web link. I changed name of “documents” to Links and docs in dashboard - manage Chats will only go to subscribers who sign up (free) email to all in selected groups with email addresses. You can bulk import contacts and their contact details etc etc via dashboard and spreadsheet template. A little fiddly to do this and best to view instructions but it works well when you get the hang of it. Thanks team app! Al Haynes

A bit glitchy. Very glitchy for members. Only half messages save on a chat even though a full message has been typed. Some information doesn’t even save to a chat and it takes too long for it to refresh so members post multiple times without realising. As an admin it keeps telling me to review my access even though I have full access. This is very annoying. I like being able to bulk update members as this has enabled me to save time. Overall team app does what it needs to but it is too glitchy which is very frustrating.

Ambitious and promising, but poor user interface design. Overall, I can see where the developer has been and is going with this app… powerful and feature rich. However, they REALLY need to invest in user interface design. Team creation for children/parents is reasonably straight forward at bulk upload, but then within a few days as children/parents began to use the app, resulted in many calls on how to enrol and somehow resulted in duplicated team member profiles. Eventually, I had to figure out each game day if I had a full team by looking at both parent and child RSVPs.

Easy to use and simplistic. Great app with some awesome functions! Would like to see an option to upload phot albums into the gallery as 3 photos per time is a bit hard, especially when you run a major event and have a few hundred to put up. Also would like if the Social links could have a feed from the social sites showing what has been posted lately ect. Overall, easy to use, a bit tedious to set up, but once past that, very simple and great to use!!!

Needs some attention. Really Like team app and generally it works well. However I have noticed the notifications are not coming through on my iphone, unless I go into the app. Then it updates itself and the notifications come through. I have missed many important messages that needed attention immediately this soccer season. I have checked all settings plus the settings on my iPhone, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a week ago. Unfortunately it is still happening. I have sent an email regarding this issue but to date have not had a reply

Keeps Getting Better. This App just keeps getting better. Our club has been using Team App for a number of years now and for so long our team/squad resisted conforming as it “didn’t suit our needs”. The developers listen and keep adding new features. It’s now our go to and very easy to get communications out across the club.

Clunky but better than email. I like the fact that most of my kid’s sporting events are managed through a single app, but the process of clearing notifications in the News channel is clunky and annoying. Why do I have to open each message in order to mark it as read? Most of the times my wife is already across all the details so I don’t need to read each and every one. However I still need to see there have been some updates. Can I please just just click “Mark all as read” after quickly scanning the notifications for anything I need to read?

Hard to use if you’ve got behind in your messages. I had 57 messages to clear out. I didn’t want to delete them but mark them as read to get the non read indicator down to zero (so you can see if any new). I couldn’t find a way other than to click on each one and wait till it downloaded. Needs a ‘mark as read’ option- maybe there is one but I couldn’t find it. Also you can’t click on a message and immediately click back and have it marked as read. Cumbersome. Other than that gripe it does the job.

Clunky interface. The basis is great, however the interface is extremely clunky and prone to occasional glitching. Also while some adds are appropriately placed at the bottom, others quite literally take up half the screen (particularly in the news feed) It could be a great app, but it required some extensive updating and some big improvements to the UI for it to be worth paying for a premium version.

Functionality. Most aspects of the app (and desktop versions) are easily set up and navigated however one big issue I have is being able to assign a restricted admin access level to individuals which sits between a full admin and access group restricted admin. Eg to be able to assign admin privileges to a group of people that for example can send out news/social items only ie club social coordinators Overall, a great app and was reasonably easy to set up with heaps of functionality depending on the needs of different clubs or sports.

Lags so much. The general functionality of the app is great but the way it lags feels like the worst latency issues of any app I use by a long way. More often than not you have to look at an event or a chat message 4 or 5 times to get the alert to disappear and even then sometimes it doesn’t. So then you need to go back into notifications and look there and then finally the notification goes away. User experience = terrible, and sorry it isn’t free, anything with ads has a cost.

A few quirks that need attention. This App has been helpful with finding our schools sports info such as game times and locations, but it is clunky at times. You receive a notification alert when a message is received. Once you have read it, the notification is still present and appears unread upon exiting the App. The alert stays there until you select “Clear All”. At that point, it deletes to whole message! To retain the details, you have to image capture it. This is annoying if you want to see old messages. Also, it seems to glitch at times (multiple of the same message are received, or two messages are blended together) but this may be user errors with posting notices.

Great. Edited due to obviously unhappy developers response: I've been using this app since the beginning of last year. Earlier this year we started getting notifications and when you would go into the app to view it wasn't from our dance team, it was to view and ad. This happened for about a week and hasn't happened since (when I wrote this review). I will revise my rating to 4 stars as I find it a very effective method of communicating with my daughters dance instructor. The calendar function is great as it allows you to add scheduled team events to the iPhone calendar.

Overall Good. Hi all. I’m part of a group that use this app for school communication. Generally I think it is pretty good offering chat function, notices where you can allow or not allow comments. One annoying thing is that it takes a while to register you have seen something and remove the notification symbol. I find I have to go in multiple times to get the notification badge to go away.

Great App, user friendly. Love this app! Using for our team this year as the team manager & all the families love the features. We post photos of games & players of the match pics in the gallery section & it’s great! Love that you can customise every feature to suit your needs. The ads are annoying but when it’s free you can’t really complain. Thanks so much, will be using this for many more years to come.

Gets the job done. It’s a really useful, helpful app. I think now what it needs is just a few refinements. I’ll give a couple of examples below: When RSVPing to an event, a menu comes up asking for you response, after which a menu appears with the same options for your response, plus an extra selection for additional people. If you could just do this with one menu, perhaps with whatever the iOS version of radio buttons is for the response, for both options, it may be more user-friendly. The notification system could use a little polishing too. If you go straight to a scheduled event rather than going to it via it’s notification, it should still mark that notification as read. Like I said though, already a great app, but could be even better :)

some good features but the advertising strategy is frustrating. It has some good functionality for communication and managing player availability but you need to make sure it is set up right with individual teams and access if you’re using it for a club. The big downside is the amount of advertising and the placement of ads. They’ll often pop in and you’ll accidentally click of them or they’ll cover information. We also get ads that you can’t close and you then can’t use the app. Notifications can be hard to manage. You think you’ve turned them off to find that there is still more and if you’re using two devices the notifications stay open in the second device after viewing it on the first device. Most of our teams are switching to Messenger or WhatsApp for their comms and just using the availability recording and the whole of club info in this but it has a lot of potential to be useful.

Very basic and clunky. It’s not great. Chat function is super basic. It’s just a feed and can’t reply to individuals in a chat but rather just post the next chat comment. Can’t tag people. Many members mention it crashes constantly on opening. Mine currently forces me to sign in every time I open it. As an official role in our club it is beyond frustrating having to do that so many times a day. The PC version isn’t very user friendly either. Hoping for significant improvements or will be asking the club to find another option for next season.

Just what we need. Started an indoor footy team and for the last few years we organised through messenger which was very hard to manage. Through team app we have setup the whole team schedule far beyond everyone’s commitment and attention span, have setup voting after games group chat player profiles. If i could be bothered i could even go as far as to put the other teams in manage ladders, events, news and gallery. Soo much potential in such a little app and the fact that its free... MATE!!!

A great app, just one thing to fix. Hi TeamApp, This is such a great app given you don’t have subscription only access (I’ve just paid more as a donation and not to get rid of the ads) but as a team photographer, please PLEASE could you make the photo upload function more user friendly? If we could select multiple photos at once instead of having to laboriously add one at a time, it would be a huge improvement. Many thanks. Update: 27 August. Just received a developer reply to my review which read ‘it’s on the TO DO list!’ Wow - no need to be rude TeamApp. My review says it’s a great app and gives you four stars. I just asked for that one change! Maybe you need to stay away from the coffee or learn some manners. Regretting paying to remove ads now which I really did consider as a donation given the app is free and I bet that not many bother paying you. Very disappointed indeed.

it just doesn't work. i downloaded it as a requirement of my workplace, but it won't let me signup. i have iOS 10+ on my iphone and ipad, however was met with the same disappointing results. when i click sign up with facebook, the screen dims and shows me a loading circle. and so every time, i've waited for about 5 mins before i get frustrated and refresh the page. yet when i try to login with email, a white page pops up to give me false hope before the app crashes and exits itself. this has happened multiple times on both devices.

Good but new costs for videos is disappointing. This app is extremely helpful for running sports groups. It has plenty of helpful features. I think it would be improved with a better system for paying for advertisement removal (I still can’t work out how to take it off all my students app). The restriction on videos is a new feature and pretty disappointing. It may result in me using a new app.

Voting feature inaccurate. I first raised that the votes I set up for Best & Fairest weren't adding accurately. Before I set it up I did a test vote with couple of parents. When I've amended that test vote it's thrown the numbers out. Support we're made aware in April and responded that it's a bug, but their only suggestion was to add it myself manually. When I've followed it up (as the same issue effects votes that I now don't want to edit in case it throws it out again). They said it's not worth fixing as they haven't had any other clubs report it. I'd say if you're providing a feature then at least make it work properly., Would be 4 star rating because I'm a strong advocate of this app, but lack of care regarding an issue where votes and awards are concerned, has taken me off the biggest fan category.

Great App. Have been using for a couple years and each year learn something new. Takes a little bit of navigating through to get used to all the buttons and what their uses are for.. but a really great App for use with sporting teams to keep everyone easily informed.. love that it has an email option as well for those stubborn people who just dont want to use the app, they still get the info via email. All in all very reliable App.

Schedule calendar options. It would be fantastic if there was an option to change the Schedule calendar view to show the week beginning on a Monday instead of a Sunday - is this something that could be considered adding for users to choose which view they would prefer? Many thanks

Parent of a Australian Navy Cadet. I am leaving a review of 4/5 stars as a parent of a young person who’s Navy Cadet unit uses Team app for communication between members. Currently about 1/2 our youth members use this app. Not all parents are engaging with it as a communication tool but this will improve I hope. We use this as a supplement to email and Facebook communication tools. Look forward to increasing our usage and accessing the tools within the app.

Not intuitive. Have to use this Ap as club uses it as a standard Ap. As team manager, set up wasn’t intuitive, it’s a bit clunky as a user and administrator. Much prefer Team Stuff which my kids other sports teams use... much easier to navigate than this and far less annoying ads. Just not a well designed Ap structure or navigation. Developers: Tip you should check out Team Stuff for design and user ideas.

Fab except notifications. So far everything working quite well. But notifications seem a bit hit and miss. I get 3 showing on icon badge. When I log in there is nothing new. Or I address an admin access request or look at new item and it stays there as new for up to half hour. Also would be good to have clear way for parents and kids to share same login, for kids too young or not allowed to have their own email address. In chat space in can be hard to tell if it's a parent chatting or the child. * update- I understand this has now been addressed THANKS *

It’s great!!. I’m an age group coordinator and we have 10 teams in our age group. I set up an access group for each team and one for the managers and coaches. The app does everything I need it to especially fast communications when I need to get urgent notices to my managers & coaches. Each team also easily communicates internally. It was very easy to set up, even for a novice like me. I am still working through a couple of the functions to understand what they are for (e.g. scheduling) and we are not using all functions as there is a separate club website. The feedback I have from my managers is that they also really like it. A great app!!

Back to basics. Been very disappointed with teamapp the last two years in particular for a number of reasons, as a long time user it feels like things need to go back to basics. In group chat rooms messages send twice or text disappears from words - consistently happening now for 18-24months despite being reported numerous times. Some menus such as when you go to the live score updates - the text is in white and now also the colour bar behind it is white up the top so you can’t read or see where to click to go back or add a note! For joining new members, the amount of REQUIRED information is obscene. Most people joining teamapp for the first time are new junior parents and people who hardly know your club - and are uncomfortable giving out this type of information. Far too much to ask of people simply joining to keep up to date on a sports club app. Becoming more of a barrier to its use that is worthwhile for people to join. Clumsy and loopy when logging in via the site for the first time also in creating the account process. Puts people off using it which makes it hard for us a drive it. Some of the features are great but over time things like this have worn me down from a strong proponent to a major critic. If can sort out the user experience and go back to the purpose of its existence for what it serves, then hopefully can be swayed back.

Rubbish interface. The constant notifications on messages becomes quite annoying. I enjoy receiving some notifications but not one every time some one says something mildly inconvenient. This requires you to go in to the app and clear the message or open the message. Also the app should allow so that upon opening it presents just the team page for users who only use the app because their team requires them to. I find it a waste having the homepage as it is highly unlikely that anyone would have anymore than maybe 2 teams. It’s a sucky interface with terrible loading time’s leading to a waste of time when I and others are in a rush. You have to wait for everything to load due to the slowness of the app

Very intuitive. I’m managing a team for the first time and someone recommended this app. It’s really easy to use and set up. I’ve not worked out yet how to link the calendar and team selection page, but everything else has been easy. Rather a lot of adverts. Not sure if there’s a way to avoid these though. Would give it 4.5 stars if I could as the pop up adverts are a bit annoying.

Has potential. The app has a lot of bugs. Many applications will not work depending on the platform you are using. Therefore for our use we need to have it on both our phone and iPad depending on what we want to do. And then it incessantly beeps and updates. We have no choice but use it as both our clubs and teams insist using it as the only means of communication. Applications have potential but are limited in there usefulness.

Not user friendly. I can see this app can in theory do everything I want it to, but as an administrator (or even just a team member), what should be simple functions, like viewing all the members of an “access group” are not that simple. The web dashboard is a bit better but for getting people to sign up to and use an app, simplicity and intuitive design is the key, and this doesn’t meet the threshold in my opinion. I can see all lot of benefits to using this across a whole club but it’s almost too detailed/complex just for one team.

Attachments will not open. Have used this app for over a year and find it frequently crashes. It is on both iPhone and iPad. Recently it logged me off my iPad. When trying to log back onto the app, it is assuming this is a new account forcing me to enter a new password. I first updated the password via iPhone but the app on the iPad does not recognise an existing account. When a password is entered twice as demanded an email is sent requiring authentication. This email does not work. No link to a web page verification exists. It is broken. I would not recommend this app as this clearly shows the security protection of this app is flawed.

Doesn’t work. Members after purchasing their membership card, after opening wallet as described on the tutorial videos, they can’t see their card, if they open their payment history there’s nothing there as well, tried with two different customers and the result was the same. Members can not also see the schedule that have been setup. The app seemed to be promising but when put on production it seems that lots of features are not working, big shame because we intended to pay the premium version and get rid of the ads.

Tremendous App. We have over 500 active users in our soccer club and successfully manage all of our communications. We have implemented every feature of Team App including; Fixtures for our ten teams, Latest News keeping all players & members up to date & even Store allowing us to sell apparel, event ticketing & sponsorship linked to their payment partner. The Chat feature allows our members to communicate directly with one another, including team-managers as they manage parents and players. We have over 10,000 activations per month all within one convenient app. Our aim is to grow our use of Team App.

Great, but..... Well worth it. Broadcasts messages and PDFs from a desktop really well. Alas we are all slowly moving over to mobile friendly methods. I’m hoping this app can also become mobile friendly and allow uploads from mobile phones, without first hosting the files in the cloud just to upload them to this. Ability to choose other payment companies would be wonderful. Square or PayPal. Or anything mobile friendly. The team making this have an excellent product and I’m glad to be using it. Can not wait to make this somewhere to take advertisers to when we finally see it as a tool to use more. I help run a group that isn’t a team but is for youth to be involved in. We find this excellent and look forward to paying to use the next level of abilities. It will help us collect our costs and also track other event payments. If only the payment system was interchangeable. Exciting times ahead.

Free service - can’t complain!. I was first introduced to this app through a new soccer club my son started with. Loved it right off the bat. It’s been continually developed and improved since then and is now an essential element to our school soccer groups. It has revolutionised the way we managed multiple teams through the school and is a huge improvement over the Facebook groups we used previously. Especially for those that didn’t use Facebook! Highly recommended, and it’s easy to look past the small issues such as notification refreshes.

Clunky and full of concerning ads. Have been using this app to keep in comms with my children’s sports teams. The app is clunky and pushes to many ads some very inappropriate for an u12 baseball team. Can’t view messages from a push notification and have reload every time to read important information. For team schedules this pushes to generic landing pages making difficult to navigate to the right page and suspicious web sites masking as steps to see more detail only to land on websites asking for personal details. Try and avoid if possible.

Gets it done. I’ve been using Team App for a few season as a Club member and now as an administrator. It pretty much does everything we could ask for as far as being a central portal for all our documents, notifying members, team lists/availabilities, purchase tickets or apparel. I really like the store which was easy to set up and integrates with a trusted 3rd party app for payment collection. The one major plus is that I have kids playing different sports and they both use Team App. So one App to buy apparel, get team updates, buy tickets to events, and read the latest news across two seperate sports. Brilliant. Would be 4.5 stars but I can’t tick half a star. The extra half star comes if it looked a bit prettier, but that’s being picky.

Great App, do your team a favour!. We’ve been using Team App for 2 years now and as skipper of our yacht i love it and the crew absolutely love it. The setup is well worth the effort as it will save you loads of time managing your crew/team. I would love a club level app that events and races could be shared across the team apps for individual boats but for now we link through to the club web pages for results and race event details. Well done team app. Don’t hesitate set this up now and you’ll never look back

Terrible user experience. An app should be used if it makes life easier than using a website. This doesn’t. I would LOVE to go back to a simple website to get sports content , if it meant I did not have to open this app one more time. The Setup is clunky and the nav is not user friendly. It’s for schools - so please make it simple... I work in IT and tech/marketing and review tools and apps for a living but have been forced by my school to use this app. Please make it easier to use and find stuff. I was wishing I could still use a website today but alas - have to use the app.

Good after a while. It took one day to set up and become use to it but after that it simplify a lot all the communications and goes fast and perfectly friendly user.

App review. This a useful tool but it’s cumbersome and slow. The adds at the bottom of each screen are a pain in the buttocks.

Great app. Easy to use. Great for finding the information you need.

Must have for club and team communication. This app will make all your communication organized and easy to follow. I know automatically who will be coming to training, match. I take attendance after each practice/ activity. So powerful and free.

App is ok but new posts are not easily shown. Info is good but it the home page when you see the new red bubble with a number, you think those are new but it’s not clear when you enter the app where the new stuff is.

Too many ads. I’d rather pay for a quality app than have to be stuck with all the ads. Way too many!

Very functional, has everything I need!. I put that in place for a choir group and it does exactly what we expected. We didn’t want some features (like team management for example) and it was super easy to disable them. Very versatile app overall. And it is free!!! Keep up the good work.

4th season Using it. 3rd season using it, no complaints. It’s awesome for a free app that’s for sure.

Advertisements?. I personally love the app, helps from a player’s perspective. However, it feels a bit out of place to have pop-up style advertisements which cannot be skipped. I understand having to make profit, but please do not have unskippable ads. Our lives are already filled with unskippable advertisements everywhere we go, just to come home and have another one pop up on my team app. Weird.

Perfect for beer league organization. I have been using this app for almost a year to replace our old email based system. Really like the rsvp, chat, announcements, and player profiles.

Message posting bug. When you post a message in a team it doesn't show in the comments history. You have to exit from comments and then go back in to see it.

Best app I’ve used for hockey team. This app is well developed and feature rich. Being able to chat with other parents, post reminders and collaborate on fundraising events is great. I love being able to post updates on the game (directly in the event comments) for parents to follow when they can’t make it to the game.

Ugly ui but functional. See title. Ui not fluent. At least it’s not facebook.

Average. Bit of a lag when posting messages to chat threads. Otherwise it does what it should and works good.

React native is not for real apps. This is not the quality I’d expect from a real app in the App Store. Nice proof of concept but the app is quite lousy

Great App. Excellent app. Not sure what the one star guy was griping about especially from a free app. This app does what it is designed to do and helps keep me in touch with my team. I can advise if I am attending training sessions and see comments from my coaches and team members. What is there not to like??

Too many adds. Too many adds

Freezes. Constantly freezes on add popups forcing a reboot of entire iphone

Coach Calgary. Easy to use great way to get info out to players and coaches. You can set it up to be as simple or complicated as you like. Best way when starting is on a desk top...updates are made easily on a smartphone.

Can’t do what we do with out it.. Our youth group uses this app to communicate upcoming events. It is an amazingly easy app to use and the kids share it with their friends so that they know what is going on and can join us. I don’t know what we would have done without it.

Very good. Il love it it is very godd

Great APP. This is my first hockey season using the APP for my recreational men’s league team. Great way to list all players and know who is or is not coming to an event. I do have difficulty in areas where I am trying to delete information.

Ok. Lots of little bugs that need to be fixed that are annoying. Simple things that similar type apps have perfected

Buggy!. One of the the buggiest I’ve used. Annoyed ads, terrible UI. Constantly telling me I have an unread entry when I don’t. An overall frustrating experience.

Please someone do this better. This App is terrible. Pitiful UX. The concept is great but please can another tech company please take this over and make a decent product! I dread having to use it. Everything is harder than it has to be and there are constant inconsistencies & failures.

Trash. Pros: app Is secure Has fine features Less adds Notification accessible Options on what group I want to go to Cons: Has adds Inappropriate adds Asks to rate app Has glitches Always turns on notifications when I close them The print is poor Overall this is a fine app I like it! Kind of and plz update app plz respond owner. How do you delete a club or a team

Player / Parent. Would be good to be able to add the player name and then associate the parent’s name with the player’s name - especially when used by teams with younger children and the parents are replying with their child’s attendance to practices / games. Need to be able to easily include multiple email addresses and cell phone numbers for communication purposes.

Horrible app. Not user friendly. Messages come in late.

User-friendly enough for me! (& that says a lot ;) ... ). Ok

Hiking club, simply the best. To mange all events and payments for an hiking club located in Quebec, Canada with 200+members, the transition from manual management to an all in one Swiss knife like Team App was easy and our membres just love the platform. Support is also excellent with answer’s within 49 hours ! No need to be an IT junkies to set it up and there was no down time at all ! What else would you expect ! Thanks Team App Denis Les randonneurs de St-Jérôme

Great app. Great app, great for small leagues with many different features! Everything is free as well which is great for non profit leagues

App is ok. When you post video’s to your team and someone likes it you cannot see who likes it. So not sure who is or isn’t watching the videos.

Review. Team app is ok, however team snap is much more user friendly and easier to navigate.

Great app. I’ve used “teamsnap” before and felt like it was thrown together in 5 minutes. But “teamAPP” feels much more fluid to use. This is from a players prospective.

Great App. It takes some time to set up the app initially but once its done the app works great. The negative reviewers just need to invest some time in learning how the app works. Would be nice to have your team logo not the teamapp logo show up on your phone.

Awful UI. Functional but the UI is terrible. Looks like a My First App project.

Confusing, awful app. I agree with the previous reviewer... terrible and leads to a lot of confusion within the team. Some coaches post the time the game kicks off and other coaches post the meet up time.... nobody gets their messages... and what about kids who don’t have a phone???? Please somebody improve this app.

Had to give 1 star. Have to use this app with sons new ball team. It is so unuser friendly. If I could rate it in negative stars I would.

Aweful. Wish our manager used TeamSnap

Kiera. My teacher uses this and it is awful. It is so confusing. If I could give it negative stars I would.

Player Profile not Updating. Errors occurring when trying to update or create new player profiles.

Not good. Our ball teams manager picked this app, and I think every person on the team hates it. It is garbage. Calendars will not synch with app, which is 75% of the reason to use these team apps. Stick with team snap. Way better

High Heat. This app comes in strong in terms of options and features. The no-ad fee is dirt cheap to boot. The only wish I have is the app to show your teams logo, or at least have a link to it on my home page next to the team app. A+++++ app for organizing and managing a team.

Not super user friendly. Prefer Team Snap. Much easier to use!

Love it. I just love it I get to be aware of my games/practice/tournaments every time. I just love it

Team App. Took a bit to get used to. But once we did... love it!! Very useful. Great for organizing. Just wondering if there was an option for folders or something within documents to help organize. Thank you

Pretty basic, but OK. It does most of what you need to run a team. The layout is very basic, but also not too flashy, which is nice. Biggest issue at the moment are broken notifications. The app badge often doesn’t go away even after reading latest messages.

Great, very few inconveniences. We have used this app for years with my swim club. Very few parents or coaches have had issues with it.

Correction. Ils ont corriger le problème avec le fuseau horaire après que je l’ai indiqué! 👍🏻 Elle fonctionne très bien! Suivi facile!

App needs work.. After using a couple minutes the screen goes black. Reloaded app. Still the same.

Love the app, just a few functionality recommendations. I have used Team App for three years and I have been really happy with it. My only suggestion would be is to create some type of caching that when I am creating an event or News Item, if I have to leave the app to go get an address or other information I don’t have to start all over. Also, when I put a link in the description, it doesn’t hyperlink. Thanks for keeping this affordable!

This has made my business team’s efficiency in communication go way up!. I LOVE the Team app! I used to depend on finding notifications with in. Business support Facebook group. In the algorithms it was hard to easily find what I needed and to direct others to it. Now with so many leaving Facebook I am so glad I had this in advance. I get my notifications immediately and it has been a time saver and helped my efficiency a great deal.

Useful but could make improvements. I run a dance studio and this is a great tool HOWEVER... the Team App needs to put out some surveys for some update ideas in my opinion.... 1) don’t make me delete each notification separately that is ridiculous and time consuming 2) videos longer than 1min in the gallery...let’s do like 3- 4min so the average dance can make the cut for those dance teams and studios using this and FINAL AND MOST IMPORTANT... 3) search bar for events so that people can search their team app for an event easier

Robust. I can’t believe how many free features there are in this app. I work in an IT shop and understand what it takes to develop an app like this. Very Impressive. I have found a few bugs but they are very minor. If you understand how access groups work this app is very handy for communicating to specific groups. I started using the app for our teams this past summer and I don’t know what I would have done without it.

Very Useful. App is a great tool but could use one improvement that I have noticed. When trying to scroll through message history, you can only go back to review a certain amount then you have to start from the very first message you have ever received. If you happened to receive a message when your almost to where you need to be it will jump to the new message and you have to start over again from the beginning. Other than that it’s a great app. Hope they can make an update that will let you scroll through message similar to the iPhone.

Frustrating notification badges. This app works well enough, but the notification badges are frustrating. They don’t always clear when they should after you’ve viewed the new messages or calendar updates. So you’ll still see the badge, open it, clear all the “new” markings inside the app, close it, and still see a notification badge. It kind of clears when it feels like it.

Dance. I am on a dance team and my program uses this app and it works so well! My dance coach can update me on anything new and keep the dancers and their moms up to date. With COVID-19 my coach uploads videos of our dance on the team app so we can learn them. The one complaint is that the team app sends me a notification and I open it and check it out but when I exit out of the app it says I still haven’t looked at it but I goes away in like an hour or two but this app is so great and I definitely recommend it!

Ok overall. This app is frustrating, the notifications don’t go away even after I’ve read them all. If you get behind in a chat and scroll back to see what was missed it shoots back down to the bottom and you have to start all over again! For the events and stuff it’s been good and the reminders. It could use some little tweaks, we’ve had this app for a few years and it doesn’t seem it’s changed much. Meh kind of wish there was a better app or they would spruce this one up!

A great communication tool!. I used the app for the first time as a parent during soccer season. The coach and other parents were able to communicate easily and send out last minute notifications and time changes. It is a terrific tool. I set a new team up for our swim team. Setting up a team was easy and simple. I am so happy that we found something to help us get organized!

One stop shop. My son’s travel team started using this app last year. The team was able to customize the site to meet the coaches and parents needs. The app organizes important info such as team announcements and schedules for games and practices or fundraising etc . Now instead of sorting through a hundred emails to find important info I simply go to our team app and everything I need to know is in one place. Organized and easy to use .

Weak compared to others. Notifications are the weakest part of the app. You must reply to an event or game to get any updates. This is an extra step required over other similar apps. The only notifications I get, despite have all types selected, is badges. I have to be looking at the right screen on my phone to know there has been and addition. The calendar view of the schedule does not show any difference between dates with games and dates without. You have to tap a day to see if there is anything scheduled.

It’s ok. This app is just okay. I wish there were more options and it was more user friendly. For example the ability to record game scores in the app. Also, the ability to set rsvp for only players for games or for events as everyone. It is hard on the app to tell if new additions have accepted their invite. I like that it is feee but I think team snap has more available features and is much more user friendly. Also, two years ago when I asked for help from the company they set up an appointment and no one ever called me.

Good for announcements but awful for posting photos. This app is excellent four teams to get information out quickly. Unfortunately though, when posting photos from the event the user can only post a maximum of three photos at a time. This is extremely cumbersome and time consuming. We need a way for this app to obtain access photos stored on the device and allow the user to select an unlimited amount—-if not unlimited, then maybe 20 at a time. Anything MORE than three photos at a time would be most appreciated!

Difficult to navigate. Having used Team Snap for 3 other sports, I find Team App so much more difficult to use. It is difficult to move between features when on the app- is it a notification or a chat, who knows? Also, I find the notifications and chat features frustrating as they are separate and I can’t tell what’s what. Different “chats” lump together so sometimes I can’t find info easily. The font is not as easy to read either. Finally, it is tough to move between different areas of the app whereas it is always available at the bottom of Team Snap. Much less user friendly and intuitive!

LOVE IT!!!. Being a team manager of a club basketball team and using this app, it’s the best thing ever!!! Keeps all parents, coaches and staff in the know and loads quickly!!!! Only had issues once and I think it was when work was being done on the app itself. Other than that, this app keeps our club team known as one of the best communicative teams around!!!!!!

Ok app but messages get confusing. From a parents stand point this app is fine for communication regarding games, but if needing to send messages, a group text message is better in my opinion. The message threads get confusion. Every time a new message comes in it comes in separately. Pictures sent don’t get downloaded or something. All we can see is a black and white picture of a small camera instead of the picture being sent. I have other apps which allow for a sign up page to be able to coordinate food and items needing for games and I didn’t see anything on this app.

Excellent manager for multi-sport families. I have three teams to keep up with and so very glad that they are all using this app. It’s perfect for chat when you have too many people to put on a group text. Also great way to share photos without having a separate website like Dropbox. This keeps everything in one place and it’s a lifesaver!

Horrible for parents. I am sure this app works great for coaches and players who talk to each other at practice and can drive themselves. Speaking as a parent, however, I find it frustrating in the extreme. I struggle with the following questions every twelve weeks... Which team is my son on this quarter? Which tournament are they in? What is the address of the stadium? How can I contact the coach without cc-ing the whole team? Which of those little icons am I supposed to choose this time? Word to the sales team - making an app that appeals to coaches will get you users. Making an app that works for busy moms might help you sell more copies to paying customers

LOVE IT!!!!. I coach 8u basketball and this app is absolutely amazing. One of my sons football coach used it and I loved it from a parents side and I love just as much if not more as a coach to keep my parents updated with all changes and love that it allows us to add photos and videos of the games to everyone so we can all see and save the photos!! I love this app so much that I have actually been recommending it other coaches as well!! Absolutely amazing app!!!!

Good Thought, Not the best Execution. I really like this app! It gets the job done, I can put practices and games on here, and it's fairly easy for my girls to keep track of. the only thing I would recommend working on is the chat portion. If you're in a chat with one person, and someone else messages you, it closes the keyboard when the notification pops up and when it goes away. So if you're in a team chat, but also chatting with one person, it takes a long time to type the messages. That's my only problem so far!

Best App for Team Communication. The app is great. Easy to use and communicate with your team. Works great for our while club which has many diff teams by age group. Also great customer service any notification issue I had was quickly resolved by sending a brief email of the problem. Fixed within a day or two. Def recommend this app

Suggestions. This is our first season using this app. While I do enjoy it. I have thought of a couple things that could improve my abilities on it. One- when you go to edit a calendar appointment, you should be able to edit and update just that one date even though it is connected to multiple dates. Sometimes practices change and we need to update just one. Two - please allow the app to be viewed in landscape mode. Having an IPAD and trying to type on it with the keyboard is nearly impossible without straining your neck :) Thank you for this app you have created!

Great app!!!. This app is so much better than SportsEngine and I don’t have to worry about paying $60 a month just for an app and I also have a suggestion for this app. I would like to be able to change the colors of the app when I make an app to represent the team colors instead of just one color and I really like the fact that I don’t have to pay $60 a month on SportsEngine.

Awesome!. I am running this app for two teams year round and it's truly focused on just that; running a team. It's way more than soccer mom with a snack schedule. I love the cashless store features, events and reminders. There is also player profiles, calendars and much more I could ask for and it can be locked down with access groups. A great tool for communicating and sharing with college coaches if you use it right. Four stars because there is always room for improvement. Customer Support is excellent with good respose time.

Irrelevant Notifications are Annoying. My club sends notifications to remind players they are signed up for round robin play. It is annoying to get ALL the notifications for ALL the events. It makes so much more sense for notifications to go out to those players signed up for a specific slot. The club/app admin says she has no control over this. Please refine your app to notify players for the specific events for which they have signed up.

Great idea but not a well oiled machine. As a parent this app is frustrating. We use it for our daughters gymnastics club. We have added ourselves to just her team level but still get calendar notifications for everything and sometimes alerts for teams that have nothing to do with us. I also don’t love that have have to click on everyday on the calendar to read what the event is. Our gym has something everyday. I wish there was a list view for each month that only listed the events for the level we are subscribed to.... actually I wish the gym would dump this app and stick to email & the FB group.

Glitchy. The app is not working properly. Every time I log on to view game schedules, the app just stops working and closes. This happens between 5-10 seconds after login. If this could be fixed in the next update that would be great! As of today, September 6, 2018 the app is still glitchy. We have been told by our school AD to check Team App for any and all changes to our sport schedules. That’s difficult to do when the app crashes ALL THE TIME. As soon as I click on my sport’s schedule, the app crashes, giving no time to view the schedule.

Could use some work on the user experience. For someone like me, who works in web and managers a user experience team, I found this app extremely difficult to navigate and unappealing to the eye. Some things were not as intuitive as I would like. I’m only speaking on this end user experience as a parent who is forced to use it for their child’s athletic team. I use TeamSnap for the soccer team I manage and that app is way more user friendly and eliminates unnecessary steps. I wish my daughter’s soccer team would move to something else.

Great Idea. The app is a great way to share information between sport teams, clubs, and even classes. It allows member from the group to share among themselves. You can also have multiple groups at a time, which is great for students who do more than one active. One thing that I love Teams for is that our administrator can tell when we will be home. It is much easier than texting all our parents because they can get the notifications too.

Great app, but.... Great app, does all I need for my girls team. Easy to add for parents and the girls. Great features. The one problem I have is that notifications, though on in the app and on the phone, don’t work. They worked for me for a few months and then randomly stopped working. Some of the girls don’t get notifications at all. The messages and alerts come through, but only as notifications when you open the app.

New User, Just Getting Started. So far so good. Naturally, there's a learning curve but it's not bad. Some setting are klunky or tedious but nothing terrible. Be a little patient while learning the software. Terminology and structure are the biggest challenges so far. Aussies and Americans both speak English, however there are social and cultural influences on word usage, connotations and just how things are structured. For my fellow Americans, just keep your mind open to the fact that the same or similar things can have different labels, for example: hoagie, grinder, and sub. It's not sport-specific which actually allows it to be customizable. I strongly recommend setting up and "programming" things from a desktop/ laptop versus a phone. Trust me. Set things in a computer, then run with it on your smartphone. Coach Kenny G High School Boys Lacrosse

Dev + Mom happy for the app. I am a team mom, but also a developer, and I'm glad to see the way this app is going. I built something similar, but never did anything with it and this is much more robust. It could use an "open in app"/Universal link and chat functionality is a bit off, but this is so much better than other options. Keep it up, and I'll keep sending feedback as I find things :)

Love it. I love the app, it helps me and my team communicate when not together. But it is just annoying that there is still ads when the app is clearly not still in start up. I get that it brings in extra revenue from the ads and the ad free subscription, but it isn’t a phone game that you play when you get bored, it’s a sport communication app that has a purpose. The ads totally derail its purpose.

Not loving it as much.... I don’t know if it is me or the app. Last year I LOVED the app! VERY user friendly! Now, being absent from the app for 8 months, I am having a difficult time navigating it. I inadvertently deleted myself as a user, and now I can’t add myself back! 🤬 Adding members was easy on the phone, and now it isn’t - I have to do it from my computer; however, that is difficult. Now, adding player profiles is a little confusing and editing calendars. I know I am technically challenged, but I am spending too much time on the computer. Very, sad...

Meh. Hate how media is limited into such short upload segments. This application is used for a musical theater production that I am in, and any uploaded videos have to be edited so that they are under a minute in length. The ads are annoying and are not true ad pop ups, but they are so delayed in their appearance that they have the same effect as a pop up ... and obstruct access to a document that I am trying to open. I understand that you have to make money from ads, but they should be placed in a lower location that is still visible on the screen but would not interfere with access of information.

Malware and late messages. Worse than poor, this app is dangerous. When I tried to open a pdf the coach sent from my laptop, Team installed a new and suspicious website as my homepage. I just received messages on my phone today about a spaghetti dinner that happened four days ago. They weren’t there this weekend or last week when I checked for information. Aside from easy access to the season’s schedule, I can’t say anything good about this app. The coach keeps a Facebook page, and I’ve started going there instead for timely information that doesn’t install malicious websites or softwares on my tech.

Better than most. I am coming from Wiggio if you are familiar with that. It does all that could and a little more. Sometimes it does a little too much. Some of the terms are not very straight forward. It's a little too categorized. I still haven't figured out why there is an option for multiple teams...unless it's meant for a school or some other group like that. But the website is phenomenal, and most of the interface is top notch. I don't think you can go wrong with this app if you're trying to organize a team.

THANK YOU SO MUCH APP!!!. Thank you so much! This is so useful, my dance is INLOVE with this app! They post all the info and stuff, my dance is Onstage Dance Studio, and we all really appreciate how you made it so you can do pretty much all the stuff we need, we can look at the info we need when they post it, we can see the dance practice vids, if only my hip-hop knows about it, now THAT would be AWESOME!!! Anyway, thanks so much for making this because we love it SOOOOO much!!! This is the best app for this type of stuff. Thank you, again!

Pretty good overall. Initial set up is a little much. Was not able to use the invitation feature to invite parents. It said the link was invalid. Would like to be able to edit details on a single event and have the option for it to not effect all future events if it is part of a reoccurring schedule. Other than that it is very easy to use. I like the fact i was able to customize with our team colors and logo.

Uploading videos constant issues. Even after paying to upgrade the app I get constant error codes. File error 0 is what comes up. It will upload a video then will not allow me to upload the same type of file moments later. Very frustrating. Really want to like this app but it is not very user friendly. Editing membership in mass is not an option. You have to go in to each member individually to edit their access groups. With large teams and parent groups its a nightmare.

A frustrating app. I have hated using this app from day one many years ago but forced to use it because many of my kids’ club and high school teams require it. It lacks polish and has issues. Something as simple as trying to mark all notifications as read doesn’t work. Sure the menus let you do it but they still show as unread. Updating the app in the off chance annoying bugs are fixed doesn’t help because IT DELETES ALL THE TEAMS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF so you have to locate each team again and contact the team reps for each team to get your membership back. How on earth can the developer of this app think that is acceptable? The concept behind the app is spot on but the implementation is poor.

The application has been great. Easy to use and I am receiving my alerts.. The one issue I had was the content wasn’t loading today on the notifications page for the entire day 11am to now (11:39pm) EST and Ther is as no text or emails letting us know when this issue is would be fixed. This is the only time I have had an issue and I have had the app for almost a year

Full of scam bait ads. As the parent of a child on a baseball team I am very disappointed that this app has targeted me with scam bait ads, I have also started receiving scam type text messages. I have never received scam text messages until I was required to sign up for this ad infected app by the school’s baseball booster club. Maybe the database of this company was hacked since I signed up 13 days ago, so that might explain how I have been targeted by scammers these last few days. I am worried that I have comprised my privacy by agreeing to use this app to communicate with the coaches and team. I also worry about what ads they are now sending to my 14 year old who was also told he needed to sign up for this app.

Excelent App. We use this app for our team this season, and it works great. It is very helpful for team communication, it could also have few admin at the same time so responsibilities could be share between team parent and/or coaches. It’s free. At first, it might look difficult but once you begin to use it within few days you will be able to understand it and maximize the use. I definitely recommend the app, 5 stars!

Very Useful App, but needs email synchronization. Very useful app. It’s so nice to have all the details in one place especially when you’re managing multiple kids across the same club. The chat function is especially helpful for keeping up to date on last minute schedule changes. One recommendation to further enhance the app would be to enable the competitive calendar to synch with your local calendar. Keep up the good work!!

Notifications need help. This app is really useful with one MAJOR flaw. The notifications are completely inaccurate. It will flag when there is nothing to see, the flag won’t always disappear after you’ve viewed the calendar notice, you have no control over what generates a notice (if the admin changes a field location on a game 2 months from now you get a notice, not really necessary) it’s really a great app, just know that most of the little red dots don’t actually tie to whether their really is something worth seeing in the app. I just turned them off.

Ok App. I have been using this for a couple weeks and so far am not that impressed. I did not like how when I signed up for this for my son's team, it said it would check and let me know if I was allowed to see content. My son is not old enough to drive therefore I need to be in the know right away if something were to change. I also just noticed there were about 5 messages or chats that were sent and I never got an alert or anything. Not a fan right now, I have another app we use for other teams that I like much more.

User Friendly!. This is the only app my organization uses. It is very user friendly - we’ve got 20 yr olds to 70 yr olds using this app on a daily basis with no complaints. Yes, there are ads but it’s not as disruptive as some of these reviews make it seem. I really don’t understand all the bad reviews. Try it out for a few days & if it doesn’t fit your needs, try a different one.

Useful but clunky. It’s great all the team members can communicate with each other, see updated schedule changes and share pictures. But the fact that there are multiple chat segments means that if you don’t check every single segment, you can’t be sure you’ve seen everything. Also the way pictures and videos get uploaded is very limiting and requires more work than it should. For example you can only upload one picture or video at a time. I find it easier to create a Google shared album and simply put the link on Team App.

Great App for multiple teams. I usually don’t write reviews on apps, because I like to try them out for a couple of years fi At. This is the third volleyball season that I’ve used this app, and it does not disappoint. I coach 3 teams, and this app has been a lifesaver. To get that fifth star, I would like to see a save feature for posts. Often I’ll get distracted when writing a post, and when I go back into the app, my work is gone.
