Disappointing. Slightly buggy and lacks intelligence. Would be nice if the app could recognize that you have conflicts and automatically search for alternate offerings and prompt you to schedule.

Nice app. Works perfect, and logicalneasy to use layout. Only glitch I encountered was the map for the restaurant with discounts, did not work well at all on iphone.

The science of ‘Where’. Very good. Easy to navigate. I like the ability to search by presentation and by presenter. Having the tab to post a review on the presentation sight was very convenient. One thing that would improve the design is to enable location option on the map.

Cannot log in so not useful. I love the concept but there seems to be an issue login in so it defeats the concept. Emailed Esri about it and haven’t heard back.

This new release is everything it needed to be.. Much improved, and really works remarkably well. Map could still be improved, but otherwise very functional release.

Improved and helpful. Love having the agenda, schedule and details about the sessions on my cell. The speaker bios are very helpful. Glad you included that and hope more speakers will include their bios.

Much improvement from 2 years ago. Practically unusable only a short time ago, it works very well now. Good job Esri.

App Crashes - Notes Not Saved. Useful, easy to use app. It crashed twice on me so far and I lost the notes I was taking in it. Won’t use the Note functionality any more...

Convenient and informative. Being able to add events directly to my calendar with reminders is great. Plus, seeing alternative event times are great for planning when events conflict.

Filter Menu. Love the app! Lots of nice improvements.

Needs work.... I used this for the UC this year as much as I could. It was very difficult to sort through the many sessions. Having all of Tuesday under one folder was a bit much. Maybe have each time block in its own folder on each day and It also might have been better if the data had been downloaded to my device I think. The one nice feature I found was that it would automatically add my sessions to my iPhone calendar so I didn't have to even open this app once I chose my sessions. Come on ESRI we can do better than this. Our apps should be hot stuff!

Needs a keyword search. Nice app but there should be a way to search by subject content to find classes and demos, not just by title.

Loved the App. I really loved using this App and I especially found the Notes feature for each session very useful. What would make it even better is if in the Notes feature we could add images to go along with the notes

Make map for me. Wish it would create a map of where I am going to go next based of selected sessions. Since the convention center is big it would save time.

good, but navigation could be improved. My Events should jump to the current time instead of the top of the current day. If you have a lot of events,having to scroll down to the afternoon repeatedly is cumbersome.

Schedule filter by time. Great app, would be nice to be able to filter events in schedule by time.

Like Esri's other products.... ....crashes after being open for a couple minutes.

Difficult to get what you want. Made it too glitzy instead of functional. Difficult to find anything. Ironically, the building map is NOT good. Why all of DC? Don’t you think we have other map apps to see DC? This should be the building only. Want to make the map even more useful? Add my location. More useful yet? Directions to the session I want to go to. You demonstrate apps like that in the plenary. Add it to *this* app and really impress me. Really though. Just the building. Not the city.

Favorite events app. This app is easy to use and navigate. It’s quick and responsive and I love the ability to take notes and email them to yourself.

Not clear. The categories are not clear. There is no category for pre conferee. Also it’s not clear what kind of users can attend what kind of session.

Great App,. Loved how I could type in my Conference notes into my tablet and then email the notes to my work address. This made things really easy to submit to my employer information regarding what I had learned and verify the sessions I had attended. The map of the conference area really helped me to locate where the sessions were... important on the first couple of days. Synopsis of each session were included. And if I wanted to look up sessions by the speakers, this too was possible. One suggestion: A calendar-formatted listing of date/time would have been nice to help me organize which sessions I had preselected as my initial favorites.

Better but still has issues. The 2015 edition is good but I've had a couple of issues: 1) twice it has gone blank in sessions and the my schedule pages. I reinstalled the first time and eventually it came back. 2) after viewing a session, hitting back button causes the schedule to jump up to an hour away from the place I had been looking at in the list.

Cannot login for ESRI UC 2023 on app. On cell or iPad

Best UC app yet. Overall the best app for the UC thus far. The calendar integration and offline access were great features! There were a few updates throughout the week but I never noticed the changes and the updates took quite some time to load even on a wireless network. A few changes for next year: 1. Offer the app further in advance (at least a week prior) and announce the name of it so users can download it. 2. Allow users to see where they are on the map and where they are in relation to the area they are heading to. 3. Complete map reconstruction using either Esri, Apple or Google maps integrated with the SDCC maps (since the audience is cartography-based). 4. Searchable vendors in the exhibit hall. The ability for vendors to add in information regarding their booth including giveaways, drawings, times they will not be at their booth, etc. 5. Map gallery integration, similar to the vendor list and organized by either category or application (ie: environmental, response, health, etc.) Great app - it was a fantastic improvement from last year!

Nice app. Only complaint would be that I couldn’t find a way to export my sessions to my calendar.

A real time saver. I've found the app to be very useful and intuative. I've had no problems.

Map room. Would be helpful to have a map room directory to find maps from agencies quickly and efficiently.

Great App. Best conference App I have used. I love the syncing with AGOL account for easy scheduling. Very convenient. Have used this app about four times and will continue.

Problems make it frustrating. 1. Won't refresh unless I log out and log back in. 2. After using the filter, the ads float in the middle of the app until I close it completely (remove from active app list) and reopen. 3. Won't add new items to iPhone calendar unless I add to planner from phone. 4. list scroll bar is difficult to use.

Works well!. Last year I had trouble with this app. But this year it is working well and it is very helpful in planning the day

This is a model conference app. All conference apps are poor as a class. This is not just better than average, this is a model for all others. It's way more than a brochure. Easy scheduling (let's you find other showings when you have a conflict), plus the indoor maps and search capability are outstanding. Good job ESRI.

Perfect app for conferences. This app is great, allowing you to use your device for your schedule, take notes, and send the back to your office. Everything in one place makes it so convenient.

Constantly crashes on iOS, needs calendar view. Freezes on iOS requiring a complete restart of mobile device (iPhone and iPad Pro). App will it close unless device is turned off and back on. Surely needs a calendar view.

Truly useful tool. The current version is superb: easy to find and to mark sessions to attend. Sessions are presented as a continuous scroll with day-of-the-week shortcuts into this list. I especially like the new (to me, at least) feature to let you know about any sessions available between ones that you’ve saved. I’ve used this app yearly since it first came out, but in a half-hearted way. This year, however, I’ll be using it all the time.

Unable to log in. I can’t even log in so the app isn’t useful.

Useless. There is no place to login. There are some past events listed but my future event is not listed when I search. The only 2 functions are “past events” and a search for “recently viewed,” which is empty. I have been working on my schedule online. My event is in less than 2 weeks.

Nice addition of indoors. Still one of the best conference apps I’ve ever seen. Nice addition using Indoors recently. That was very help. A few notes is that it’s be nice to be able to add overlapping sessions to my schedule. It’d also be useful to have rooms searchable in the map. I love the feature that I can see what other times a session is being offered. That’s been extremely helpful.

Fast and easy. Way better than paper. Easy to search and find sessions. Especially like the ability to find out what's in the same room before and after the session in interested in.

Well done. Great overall, but need a calendar view to organize what is happening when visually to choosing events to attend. I had to choose favorites, add to my iPhone calendar to explore and then delete what I didn't want to attend. It would be easier to build my attendance calculator in the app.

Excellent job. This app has kept me on track for this conference. This my first conference with ESRI. Great job on the app!

Best Event App ever used. Used exclusively to plan my conference activities. Never looked at the paper schedule. One bug found, I did my initial activity planning in the Central Time Zone and when my iPhone changed to Pacific Time Zone, it pushed all my activities back 2-hours. I had to remove then re-add the activities to my personal schedule.

Crashing. Latest update crashes after being open a couple of minutes. Not very helpful right before the conference.

Last of filters. The my schedule page needs filters for “Added to my Schedule” and “Favorites” Because there is no filter I started removing all my favorites so they wouldn’t clutter my schedule, but I regretted doing that yesterday when one of the classes was over booked and the audio was not working in the over flow, that in itself was a big fail for ESRI but it was compounded by the lack of filter. If there was a filter I wouldn’t have deleted my favorites and I could have quickly pivoted and gone to another class on my list.

Great conference tool. This is great. Can you add a way for stylus input in notes? The ability add or access photos into notes for further commenting would be nice too. Also push notifications for selected workshops will be useful.

Getting better, still frustrating. Lots of improvements over the years, including search capabilities and conference center maps. Still... crashes frequently. Keeps logging me out. It doesn’t matter how many times I log in, it just kicks me out.

Very useful app for the conference.. Works splendidly!

Printed is better.. Out of sight out of mind marks my opinion of this app. I’m either burning battery to use it or I’ve tucked it away. The small printed schedule is better for my personal preferences. This one is as good as they come but I prefer a hard copy I can hold and handle to an app like this.

It didn’t work - and others had the same issue. The app would not take my ArcGIS login credentials. Made it really difficult to connect with all my customers that were in attendance.

Category Filter?. Maybe I missed it but would be nice to have a filter by category or track to quickly plan a schedule. There are many sessions and hard to pick from. Or AI virtual assistant or survey to help guide me.

Not good enough. This app does not perform as expected. Initially it would not sync, so my Favourites did not show up. It eventually stopped pouting and did sync, but will not add the Favourites to my calendar. Far from being a time saver, this app is a time-waster and I eventually gave up and went back to the web page.

Great Improvement. I much prefer this app as opposed to an individual event apps ESRI has typically supplied. The only improvement I could suggest would be to allow grouping of sessions by time. The UC has hundreds of sessions and it is tough scrolling through them all.

very handy. Helped me organize my days and the sessions that I was interested in. Was also handy as a messaging tool with my group.

Complete garbage. Logged in with the global account and there are no upcoming events. Complete disappointment.

Email Notes Button. Love the app. Only annoying thing is the “email notes” button. It isn’t docked and eventually when you get to the bottom of your notes and want to continue, the button covers in the middle of the writing pane. Would be great to get this fixed!

A magnificent piece of garbage. I had high hopes that ESRI had made substantial improvements to the last version of this app as it was very unreliable but no dice on this version. It is absolute garbage. It doesn't allow me to sign in and says I don't have an Internet connection even when I'm on LTE and Connected to WiFi.

No joy. Nothing shows up.

Minor issue. I just updated this a week out from the 2014 uc. Everything synced fine with my account but it bugs me that the ad runs right in the middle of the screen on my 4s.

Doesn't work.. No upcoming events shown. Will not sync my schedule.

App needs help. This app was good until it stopped working yesterday. I've tried reinstalling, but it just won't return any session search results. There no agenda to see.

Much better than last year. Great job on the app. I did feel like I was scrolling around too much. Not sure what the solution should be.

Terrible. It takes forever to load and sync--I had added all the events I intended to attend, and now I can never see them so I have to re-look things up on my paper agenda.

Very useful.. Next year add a map of the SDCC and links for each activity to the location.

A mess. Somebody forgot to tell the developer about the 3 click concept. The user experience is awful and confusing. Last year's was easy but the new version needs to be canned. The map is really annoying as well. Why can't I minimize it? Please esri you can do better. This one gives you a black eye.

New version is much better. I especially love the linked in profile sync...

Terrible. Every app that is for an esri event never has worked and this one is no exception. The agenda does not work and the schedule was lost.

Cannot access agenda or my schedule. Having spent the time to identify sessions that I want to attend, the app no longer shows my schedule or the agenda. Boo!!

Kinda ruined my conference. After all the work going through the sessions, it quit working after 12 PM today. No agenda, dumped all my sessions, left me hanging to scramble and got locked out of two sessions due to full sessions. I would've been a lucky one to get a seat and sit in these sessions if I knew exactly where I was supposed to go. Sad so I left for the day. Hopefully it works tomorrow but I'll just use the paper schedule instead.

Unusable. Last years planner actually worked. This one does not. Bummer. I guess I'm winging it this year.

Crap App. This piece of crap has crashed and dumped my schedule every single day. Can't even get the agenda to come up any more. Obviously the developer has no quality control.

Great app, but a simple tweak would make it super. It would be nice to search in the vendor descriptions for certain keywords.

Great app, much approved over earlier versions. The new, updated version is much approved. I can search by presenter and take notes in session and it is fast.

Agenda time was wrong. Updated conference data within the app but missed part of the plenary because the app showed 930am start when the plenary started at 830. Magically updated in the afternoon--no help at that point. You would think an agenda app would have the times correct!!

Typical. Typical half working software.

Almost unusable. It worked great for last years UC. Now it's nearly worthless. It won't sync with my sessions I added from the UC website and keeps adding sessions to my profile on its own. And once I get my schedule set, a day later it's screwed up again. I don't know what was changed, but both this app and the full website were much better last year. This year, I'm going back to the printed agenda.

Great for searching\planning events. Very helpful in planning where to go. Like the favorites and add to calendar capability.

2014 Esri UC. Past apps were much better

Off by an hour?. Nice idea, however, after taking the time to plan out my schedule, all the sessions are showing up in my Google calendar an hour late. Learned that the hard way showing up late to the first session I had planned to attend.

Failed to launch. Tried to open the app but it continuously said it was unable to connect to the Internet. Obviously I'm able to connect to the Internet as I just downloaded it and an posting a review.

Another Esri app that misses the mark. Upcoming events only showed events in the past. The search tool didn't work. "Pretty", but fails.

Failure to launch. Barely adequate. Failed to integrate the itinerary I imported from the ESRI website (times were off by hours). Hard to view the conflicting events. Made me wish paper was still cool. Ah, paper. It works so well. Sigh.

Near Total Fail. Where to start? App takes forever to load events. No feedback it is doing anything. Event cache randomly deletes; see previous comment. After adding a custom event to my schedule, it doesn't show up. UI randomly moves itself while presumably loading data. Generally extremely slow. My entire agenda got deleted after spending hours going through the class list. Event descriptions sometimes don't load. As a developer attending the conference to learn ESRI APIs, this app doesn't exactly inspire confidence in ESRI products.
