I Love it, but I have a few Recommendations…. I absolutely love this game and have been obsessed since I downloaded it. Covet Fashion is incredible and uses real-world brands that you might recognize or even own yourself! It is also very inclusive, and provides many skin, hair, and makeup choices similar to what you might find in the real world. In fact, one of my favorite things about this game is that there are absolutely NO ADS! However, there are still a few recommendations I have for you if you are thinking about downloading this game. First of all, for those who are highly competitive and have little respect for “the journey”, this game may not be the one for you. I have been playing this game for about two weeks, but am only on level 3. Needless to say, it will take time, patience, and a fair amount of losing before you really get good at the game. Finally, I wanted to point out the fact that in order to play the game, it is important to budget and not spend more money than you are receiving. I am aware that spending money is very tempting, especially because this is how you level up, but it is not worth it. Overall, this is a great game and I highly enjoy playing it.

Ehh. Overall, this game is okay. I have a couple complaints and suggestions to make the game better though. I really like this game because of my love for fashion. I appreciate the little changes in diversity that the developers have added. But I feel that there should be MORE changes make to the game than just the appearances. For example, When I enter 28 challenges and won the months styling spree prize, it was out of season. I don’t think it’s fair to make this that way. I also believe when a new season starts and you have barely any money to spend on creating a whole new closet, you should get a welcome gift for each season to help start you off betterIt’s unfair to expect everyone to turn to their wallet for everything. I think you should get your tickets and diamonds at the beggining of the day instead of having to wait until evening to use them. You should be able to earn game cash more in challenges you have to buy things for, not just daily challenges. When I have voted on looks, I have noticed that they put very high level players against players almost 30 levels lower than them at times. I do not believe that this is fair to the players, I think it should at least be within the range of the player. If you read this, I think it’s worth playing the game, but just as well, there are definetly flaws that make gameplay not as enjoyable. Thanks for reading. *Abby B.*

Covet During Covid!. Other video games, reading books, cleaning, disinfecting and organizing, video workouts, crafts and trying new recipes during the Covid pandemic have worn me out and bored me so! I love clothing, getting dressed up and wearing my real outfits to go places, but can’t. Covet has helped and playing has been a great distraction. Lately I check in several times a day to see results or see new challenges. The challenge results sometimes end up cookie cutter styled with numerous repeats from limited choice options or requirements. Video watching for diamonds and doing a few surveys earn the necessary diamonds to play after the daily cash and diamonds are used. The winter collection seems jewelry-heavy in requirements which is disappointing since earrings and rings barely show up when styled but cost so much. Lately an abundance of ‘royalty-princess-queen-fantasy’ challenges appeared while few athletic, ath-leisure, sport, business, or real 2020 activities for today’s woman have been included. The jet set allows true creativity because the requirements are few and clothing from any season can be styled, although current season wins more points. This is fun and allows time away from the current Covid reality. Think COVET, not Covid!!!

Work your way up. Noticed a lot of of the reviews saying that it’s not fair for new players to compete with old players. Where’s the fun in immediate success? It makes sense that players that have been playing the game For seven years to win the top looks. I’m about a year and a half in now and grinding for my hair accessories in rallies and slowly learning how to get votes is what makes this game so addicting. Leveling up is rewarding because I’m given a even better competitive edge if I know how to use it right. I would hate it if I wasn’t able to compete against level 55 players even though I’m only Level 13. (Level 17 since I first wrote this review) Also I appreciate that they have best look in every level so that lower levels can see if they’re at the top within their level bracket. Note for developers: fashion houses are the best part of the game. But your lists of fashion houses are full of dead houses. I’ve seen so many succesful houses collapse after they were selected to be a house option from the quiz. Placing 6 new players or more in a house all at once puts too much strain and rallies are no longer achievable. Personally I think no more than 3 should be added In one placement session. Also searching for an active house on your own is nearly impossible. Please have search options for #of members and #of active members

Not playable. I just downloaded this app yesterday and am very disappointed because I can see how this could be a really fun game but unfortunately it is so messed up it is unplayable. I have barely gotten started and don’t even own any of half the categories and only have like 2 of everything else to chose from on level 3 which is impossible to qualify for the requirements of a 4 item challenge and have run out of game money. Both coins and diamonds are gone since you only get a couple thousand to start with and every item costs on average 500. The challenges don’t give any rewards and the glitches are terrible and annoying already. I am still too new to even join a style team to see what that is all about and I am stuck. This game has so much potential if only it worked and gave you money ever. It has been over 24 hours and literally there is nothing I can do to move forward without spending real cash on the game to buy stuff but if I do that it will only help for one look and the I’ll be right back stuck again so there is no point in continuing. Might as well buy the clothes in real life. This is no way to start a new player off. Don’t bother downloading or even attempting to play because it is a waste of time that will only frustrate you with what could have been years of styling and getting exposed to new fashion but they clearly don’t care about game play for new players just milking old ones for every dime.

Terrible Attitude to Customers. I have played for about 4 years. The game can be addictive. It can be expensive, but it can be played on a budget and even “for free” if you don’t obsess with having everything. The reason I rate it below 4 stars is the many glitches and awful customer service. They need more people answering questions but more importantly they need to make the players feel that the people who run the game care about the players. A recent major glitch caused an important feature of the game (borrowing) to fail. It meant that some players spent more money and others lost prizes because of the glitch. Covet could have provided alternatives and made the burden less on the players (enabled limited in-house borrowing, loosened some requirements, increased the daily player payout temporarily or something else). Instead they just kept going while players got more and more frustrated. Then, with it was all over, they “gifted” all players with something that the most active players can’t use (They gave “prop tokens” to people who already had all the props. And since there is a limit to how many tokens can be stored, anyone who already had that limit—because there were no props left to buy—just didn’t get the prize to use on another occasion.) I no longer recommend this game because you get invested in it but then you are constantly being frustrated by things that go wrong and the lack of responsiveness of the developers.

Addictive and Expensive. Honestly I’m obsessed with this game. I love it. It is my one guilty pleasure. It is expensive because you have to buy clothes otherwise it takes forever to level up. Leveling up is important because with each new level you get new hair and makeup. Typically that scores higher. People vote on the looks. I am okay with higher levels being paired with lower levels because higher levels have worked HARD and put in their dues. The one thing that is weird for me is that some ppl vote for the tackiest looks thinking “more is more” just because the doll is overflowing with props and tons of layers. I feel like a lot of tacky looks get voted higher than looks that actually look amazing regardless of level. I do wish there was a curve in the scoring also because I have made multiple 4.99 and 4.98 looks that I didn’t get 5 star rewards for. It’d be nice if Covet just bumped that up. Lol. I do love getting rewards and I love the $0.99 FB challenge packs. For how expensive the game is I think Covet could add in a few more incentives, and I do think they’re getting better at that. I’d love if every now and then they sold diamonds in bulk for a discounted price. Like a hundred thousand diamonds for a hundred dollars. That would give some people a real chance at leveling up! It’s a fun game, addictive, and super satisfying to play.

SO fun and entertaining. I’ve been playing this app for many years and that’s weird for me because I have literally no other game apps on my phone because I lose interest OR they always require you to buy your way through it. Covet does require some in app purchases but not so much that you cannot fulfill any design. If you like fashion or design they have A LOT of features and it’s buildable, way more so then when I first started playing. And if you’re not bothered by in app purchases, they really aren’t that much. The designers of the game are also really hands on. They needed to do some tweaking with the game and had to have it shut down for a bit of time, which took away from some of the timed design looks people could have fulfilled and earned points on. So they gifted everyone the winning totals anyway when they were done with their updating. I’ve never experienced that with an iPhone game in my life. They do also give out random gifts periodically as a thank you for continuing to play their game and the customer support is quick and efficient. As someone who detests in app purchase games, I honestly do not mind this one at all. I’m still easily able to go through many designs and fulfill many of the daily features. This is the longest amount of time I’ve spent on an app since downloading instagram.

It Stops Being Fun. There are so many great things about this game. With the amount of clothing items plus the accessories, props, and head wear, it’s almost impossible NOT find something amazing. That’s why I can not seem to understand why the top looks in EVERY event look exactly the same. I don’t even have to scroll down because looks #1 through, like, #20 on the first page have the same dress, same hair, same props, same everything. Now, I’ve played the game long enough to know that yes, challenges have certain items that have to be worn. But there is still a HUGE variety of things to create. I keep coming back to the game because I love fashion, but I always stop playing because I don’t think it’s allowing people to be individual. Maybe our votes don’t count unless you spend money. But when a game doesn’t let you advance unless you spend money, it’s not really fun. Otherwise I would pay ONCE and then have all the closet items unlocked. Or have a monthly subscription or something. But I get so tired of seeing the exact same copy cat for top looks. And majority of the looks are actually the newest and/or most costly pieces. The thing about fashion is that it’s so diverse and different. That’s why you don’t see people walking around wearing the same pants with the same shirt, same hair style and color walking the same dog. I know you have the ability to switch it up. Because when I’m voting, I see some different looks. Not a lot, but some.

Great game, difficult start. This game is really good. A lot of details, plenty of clothes, props, hair and makeup styles. No complaints there. I love the team challenges and there’s a good amount of options for winning extra prizes. The storylines are thoughtful and it makes the game feel more personal. The only problem is if you’re not willing to make in app purchases, it’s pretty difficult to get high ratings that give you prizes, which can be used in future challenges. The amount of money you can gain from the challenges is not enough to compensate for purchases you’re required to make to complete the challenge. Therefore, if you can’t buy the best options, or are limited, you won’t score high enough to gain the prizes and won’t be able to afford to enter challenges. If you complete offers through TapJoy beware. It can take several emails and up to a week to get the rewards. I genuinely enjoy this game, but have grown tired of spending my own money. I’ll probably keep at it and try to build up my profile, but definitely at a slower pace. Like I said at the beginning. It really is a great game, but too expensive. They have another game that is for home design. The set up for that is on point! So try it out!

Fun but unfair. I really love playing the game, but it’s so unfair on so many levels. The voting process needs to be updated. There is no way for a level 6 to compete with a level 60! Even if you buy the hair accessories, you can’t use them until you get to a certain level. I have a great hair accessory, but I can’t use it until I’m at level 8. It takes at least a month to move up a level, and that’s a very long time. And the really cool hair accessories aren’t available until your level number is extremely high. The top looks are all occupied by the same exact looks, and mist often the looks are the blonde, blue-eyed looks. Every now and then I will see a designer of color in the top looks. There are more top looks than the long, flowing, blonde hair. I’ve often lightened the skin color just to have a shot of a better score, and that’s wrong. I’ve noticed that the lighter the skin; the higher the score. There is no way to be on the top unless you purchase and purchase and purchase. The FUN part is designing the outfits. But not being able to truly compete at a lower level is disheartening. It takes way too long to level up. The original designs are scored so low. I’ve seen some amazing outfits that only score 3 stars, and that is also very disheartening. This game has the potential to be great. The way it’s set up now, you’re practically begging beginners to stop playing the game. You’ve retained your long-term players, but I think you will lose a lot of new players. ✌🏾

So OBSESSED!. I LOVE this game! My sister introduced me to it in 2014 and I’ve been playing ever since. People are always going to find something to complain about so don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. This game is about fashion, fun, and making friends. Sometimes I spend real money on the game but you don’t need to pay money to be able to play. If you aren’t able to meet a challenge requirement you can purchase “diamonds” or a “fashion pack” if that option is available. Some people complain about it but they fail to realize that running an app costs money. There is a lot that goes into maintaining and updating servers, paying game designers, advertising etc. Also, the makers of this game hosts events in real life. My friend has been to one and they are the bomb! I love the fact that you can join”Fashion Houses” and get to know other players as well as compete for cool in game prizes :-D Sometimes the game glitches, like you go to style for an event and the “dolls” shirt goes missing lol. Lately though I haven’t had any issues, it helps to update the game when a new update comes out. Other than that there’s not much more to it. Anyone can play and it’s nice to come home after a long day at work and just chill while playing Covet. It’s almost therapeutic. Happy styling everyone!

Best game ever!😁. This game is smart fun creative and really lets me experience fashion in a different way. I love the fact that every level you get different things like the hair. I love all the styles from level 8 up. The clothes are amazing cute and the colors are top notch. The jewelry all the way to the shoes are like heaven. I have one thing to add I’m not saying that this game isn’t everything because it is and so much more but, something that I think would be great is when you go to borrow something maybe it could show you who has already so you don’t have to constantly keep clicking the profiles and end up with nothing you can use. This is the greatest game of the century combining fashion with creativity and rewards. I don’t think I’m the first to say this but adding men wouldn’t be a bad thing. Different challenges could use men or women. This might be cheating but like you can get gems by watching adds maybe you could add something to get you money not just gems with adds you could make more money in real life while we make more money in a game. I love this app and want nothing more but this. Style a look for a girl that writes a review on fashion games (hehe I’ve always wanted to do that) have a happy life

Used to be better. I first began playing Covet in 2015 and took a brief break in 2019. When I started again in 2020, holy cow things got expensive. Sure, I was used to the occasional dress at $3000, maybe more if it was a rally prize. But $15,000 for a dress that’s “recommended” for a challenge? C’mon covet, that’s ridiculous. Sometimes 4-5 of the required dresses for a challenge are in the $1,000-$5,000 range. I’m level 34 and no freaking way can I afford those on a regular basis without putting my real money forward and I doubt most others can as well. The developers have become straight up greedy trying to get $$$$. Makes me less inclined to keep playing. I will also agree on the racism and body shaming. I have the option turned on for different body types, which is fun, but every single daily challenge has a thin model. Other challenges diversify the model body but not the daily challenge which coincidentally (not) is probably the most entered challenge. As for makeup, some of the darker skin makeup lightens the model’s features! It’s 2021, do 👏🏼 better 👏🏼 covet 👏🏼 Will I keep playing? Probably, I’ve built quite a closet over time. But as someone who has played since the early years, I am so disappointed in the money grabbing direction the game is headed not to mention their whitewashing and subtle lack of body inclusivity in the most popular challenges.

It’s fun but needs work.. I love Covet! I play daily and it is overall a fun and enjoyable game. But there are some things that bother me. 1) voting! The voting is just ridiculous. Something has to change. There’s level 3’s going up against level 79’s who have all the hair accessories and better outfits. It’s really difficult to get a top score. And isnt fair to the lower levels. I’m a level 25 and still have yet to receive a top score! 2) Borrowing! Challenges are expensive!!! There should be a much better borrowing system for the game. 3) why does every challenge need you to spend 3 times more then you make from the challenge? It is so difficult to save up money, especially diamonds. 4) my number one issue with the game is how difficult it is to level up. I’ve been playing for a year and a half daily and have just hit 25. That’s ridiculous! It takes so much time and effort (AND A TON OF MONEY!) to level up!! Even if there could be additional prizes for leveling up it would be so much better, like cash! For example. Even $5000 cash would make so many more people want to continue playing instead of having to be broke and trying to get more hair styles. Please make some changes to the game to be more user friendly, it has such a fun concept but it isn’t satisfying for players.

Frustrated. I have been playing Covet for about 5 months now. I really love this app and look forward to doing the challenges every day, so much so that I usually do 28 or more a week. However, I have been very frustrated lately about several things. Ever since their latest update, I have not been getting my daily reward of 100 diamonds and 20 tickets. I’ve had to write Covet daily about this. Also in the past 2 months, while doing a style challenge I was charged for an item without buying it. I was shopping, just trying different things on and it did not give me the “confirm” button. Instead it just went ahead and charged me for something that I was just trying on. This happened 4 times already and I got stuck with items that I didn’t want to buy! There went my cash or diamonds on something I hadn’t decided on, so I was stuck with items I didn’t want. It makes me hesitate to even try things on. The headdresses are way too expensive when you can only use them on certain levels and for only one hairdo. Lastly, as for the voting process, I don’t know how fair that is. It seems that the top looks are all the same, only with different make-up or hairdo’s, and it’s always the same outfit, so it’s more of a popularity contest. I have backed down from doing as many challenges as usual because of these issues, especially being charged for items I didn’t chose to buy.

Fun but unfair. I’ve been playing this game for some years now. I’ll delete it and then redownload it when I get bored. I’ve recently started to really get into it and I realized why I end up not playing after a few challenges. The game is fun. I love styling outfits for my model to wear. Makes me feel like I’m a designer or something ha. What I don’t like is that the game is really expensive. I find myself, after entering about two challenges, with technically no in-game money. I’m a low level so I end up having to buy all the required stuff as well as buying new stuff to go with the stuff I just bought so in the end, I end up being stuck. I can’t enter challenges cuz I can’t afford the required items but I can’t afford the required items because I can’t complete challenges. It’s a catch 22. Keeping ticket currency is easy, it’s the in-game money and diamonds that’s hard to keep. Then the app expects you to buy diamonds and currency for real money. The lowest package is 1.99 for 600 diamonds which will probably get you 1-3 clothing items depending on how expensive they are. So to conclude, the reason I always stop playing this game is cuz I’m stuck in limbo between not being able to complete challenges due to not having enough currency to buy clothing and not being able to receive currency from winning challenges I can’t compete in. And I refuse to real money for this game. So yeah 🤷🏾‍♀️. I’m deleting right now..

Help us enjoy again!. Crowns, we have 1 million of them but nowhere to spend them! I get that it’s a limited use hairstyle token, but I’ve not seen one hairstyle. We need a shop to spin the crowns in like make up and hair, but all the time. It’s pointless to get so many and not be able to spend. In voting, why is high level ranking 60 going against 6, different closet values, hairstyles, etc. and why did it stop letting us try on multiple (shop) items at once. That helps me figure out what I’m going to buy and what looks good. Pls bring it back. And money and diamond, still no real way to earn these things quickly. Have to pay to play for the most part or be extremely patient and rack up the daily reward, but that takes a bit longer when your closet value is small. So add something else, we love runway rally’s, we love the Jetset, maybe something else more inclusive to every fashion house, like interactive fun, that lets you earn coins and diamond and crowns too. Like a runway show, multiple fashion houses against another set of houses, working together against the other. But either way, objective is more diamond and money easier ways. I’ve spent so much in just three weeks to complete a runway rally, it’s a bit discouraging.

Feedback. Covet Fashion, this is really truly a great game. I have some positive and negative feedback. I really hope you read this comment and what I have said. Some positive feedback; I really love what you have done with this game! It is really great fashion inspiration and a great way to get to know brands. All of your challenges are really creative too! Your newest wedding serious really impressed me. All the challenges were very diverse. And the negative; as a level 5, (yes, I know, not a very high level) I find it really challenging to get enough money for some challenges. The dailies are great, giving us 500$, but I have found I am still very low on money. I understand completely that all clothing prices are taken from the real clothes themselves! I am not saying you should change the prices but maybe give us 200 diamonds??? It would help a lot. Also, many challenges have featured hair accessories, but it costs 10$. As much as I would love to buy them, I just can’t justify myself spending that much money on one hair accessory. I do love that every series you can earn props and HA, so thank-you. I just feel like 10$ is a lot of money!!! Thank you so much if you did read this! I really hope you can respond to me! Hope this message helped improve your game. :)

Fun addictive game but has issues.. This game is so fun and original, amazing for those who love fashion and costumes, but it does have many major issues... First customer service needs a lot of work and it has a lot of random glitches, the voting system is extremely unfair and flawed the game itself and it’s currency is way too expensive, so the only way I can afford to play is doing a ton of tapjoy offers! And in my opinion one of the absolute worst issues which isn’t really the games fault but I guess the players who vote, but if you play in the Classic mode most players only vote for the looks using the olive skin tone with blonde hair. Luckily the game created a Modern mode for those of us who want to use more of a variety in skin tones and hair colors but even with all he gorgeous hair color options the voters still mostly vote for blonde looks on everything but the 2 darkest skin colors and then black hair does best. It’s very difficult to score well with all the beautiful brown and red hair colors which is extremely frustrating for a brunette like me. But despite all its issues it’s still a great creative outlet and I Love the people in the Fashion house I’m in. I’ve made some really great friends and playing really helps me get through all the constant severe excruciating pain I’m in 24-7.

I love the game but.... I understand the aspect of the game is supposed to be about fun and styling looks, and it is fun. I know some people are going to accuse me if they read this review to be looking too much into things and caring too much but some aspects of the game make me quesy. The skin tints, while I understand there are only a couple, DONT go very “dark” the dark is a medium to light brown and that’s just not very friendly towards audiences that don’t have relatively light skin. Also, the event going on right now appropriates certain aspects that are important to Japanese and Asian culture, cultural aspects should not be used as a costume because somebody thinks it’s pretty and wants to play dress up. There is no way to edit your model, and I get that’s easier editing and coding for the creators, however the body type of the model, I understand it’s a cartoon, but isn’t very phisable even for people who model. One stick thin body type isn’t .... accurate... to real women, models even. Models don’t even look like that. There should be a way to edit how the girl looks, physically, I’m just throwing ideas out here, this doesn’t HAVE to be changed. The game has a beautiful design and is super fun to play, i just wish it was more progressive. I wish it was tailored to real women. All women. All people. Even if it is just a game, representation matters, and appropriation is not something that should be taken lightly.

Always Astounded & Awed. I have literally nothing but praise for Covet Fashion. I have been playing this game for nearly two years and it never ceases to amaze me. The aesthetics of the game are always impressive with hyper realistic textures and shading and creases. The colors always pop to make every item seem chic and important. I am especially amazed at the creators’ ability to write between three or four challenges a day, complete with poetic language and a creative prompt. As a person who struggles with neophobia, I do not usually like updates to games, but I have been thoroughly impressed at every project the creators have clearly poured their heart and soul into. The props remain fresh and fun even after two years and the prop packs keep improving season after season. I have actually been getting at the end of each month because I know that new props are just around the corner. Most of all, I appreciate that accessories are becoming accessible to everyone through challenges, especially after this update. I can see myself playing with the personalization for hours, even with the small amount of I have garnered from challenges. Keep up the good work Covet! I can’t wait to see what your team imagines next :D

Good but...... This app is really fun, and easy to use. You get to create any fashion look that you want. I love how competitive it is but also how excepting everybody is of your style. Also it’s very easy to earn the money that you used to buy more clothes in this app. There’s a wide variety of dresses, bags, jewelry, and so much more. One thing that I would change is the part where you can speak to people in your fashion house once you complete so many challenges. It’s a little offputting having a kid talk to people in their houses. It’s a little dangerous to have your kid talking to people in your house because you don’t know who they are or what they look like. Other than that though I don’t see why it such a big deal. It’s a lot of fun to use there are many different things to choose from once again. I personally Love this app. And I think you will too! I give this a four star rating that one star was taking taken off because of the chat option I wish there was a setting to be able to turn that off. That’s the only thing I would change. Other than that it’s a great app and I hope you will get it. One thing that I forgot to mention, is that you get to vote on other peoples luxe for the category. Also if you update the app in a certain way there’s a big diverse amount of models and I love that fact about it. So I think that rounds everything up.

Fun but issues. I love this game. I used to play years ago and then started up again. A lot of things have changed. I think it’s unfair that lower level players like level 6 compete against higher level players like level 69. There is no way to compete with higher levels and your score lowers because of that. I even tried spending money to get hair accessories, props and prior season clothes, spent a lot of money over the past couple of months (it’s embarrassing)and I still can’t keep up with higher levels. Plus if you spend money on hair accessories you only get access to one style on lower levels. It’s more suited for higher level players who have access to all the styles. It’s not right that I spend the same money as the higher levels $8.99 yet I don’t get the same access. I’m not going to spend anymore money on a game that gives me an unfair advantage. Also if you don’t have a lot of closet money or diamonds, you’re low level etc you can’t compete in more than a couple of events a day. I have an issue with categories like nursing, political figures, business women being in inappropriate clothing like crop tops, sequin outfits, ball gowns and cocktail dresses that keep winning. Honestly some clothing options should be eliminated from certain professional categories. Overall the game is fun and you get to be creative. I love seeing different brands featured that I normally would not be familiar with.

Everyone is the same 🙄. Let me say by saying I never wrote a review before but this is just had to write 😒 I’ve been playing this game since 2014 and spent a lot of real money on here I stopped playing it I think in 2016 and just started playing it again and I was trynna figure out why I deleted it in the first play because it’s a really fun game and I really like playing it but it’s like u won’t ever when If you don’t all look the same I only get like 3. Something stars with the unworn and in season it goes to about 4 or 4.5 but I never get 5.0 and up and know I know why I deleted it in the first place when I go to see who won they all look the same same clothes same face same hair it’s like nobody can be different and that is what I don’t like about this game and that’s why I deleted it in the first place and probably about to delete it again for good because you have to be like everybody else you can’t stand out and why do y’all in the voting poll put up a person that is like on level 7 with a person that on level 50 that not right they don’t have the same hair style and other thing to compete with them and y’all want us to pay 8.99 for the hair with accessories I think that a little bit to high can you please fix this issues and not have everybody be the same to win or I will be deleted it again and for good this time.

Just a thought.... First of all I will say that I am a "covet junkie" and, that I do sometimes buy diamonds (don't judge). But unfortunately I have to agree with a few reviewers who point out the negative. A few simple things like, being able to manipulate the clothing would be so helpful. Like, being able to tuck in shirts, see side and back views, fold down socks and put shirts over some dresses. Also, it would be great if things went on sale. The app has links to when the real ones do so why shouldn't the in game products also be marked down? Another item is that it has been a pretty long time that I've been waiting on jet set events. This is mostly unfair because that forces you to have to buy diamonds if you want to enter all these new flashback events. I know it's a common complaint but it would be awesome to make more money on events even if it's just $150 instead of $100 (but 200 would be better). Oh, and of course I really feel that the voting is messed with. I don't think my looks are the best every time but, so many times the winning looks are dull and ones that are really different and creative don't get recognized. It would be great to level the playing field by being able to interact with players and make friends to borrow from.

Fun but expensive. I started playing Covet in 2016 but stopped for a while because I got discouraged after bad score from voting. I picked it back up about a month ago and they’ve made changes that I do like. You can now buy 3 items needed for challenges that require older items, with actual money instead of having to buy more diamonds. Typically is cheaper. I also like the implementation of fashion houses and rally’s so that you have more prizes for completing challenges. What I do not like though is how expensive the game still is. You enter challenges to earn money but the requirements for said challenges cost more than the money you will earn from entering the challenge. For example, a required shoe cost $395 for a challenge but once you enter you’re only earning $100 so you’re out $295 basically forcing you to spend real money on the game. They need to increase the payout for each challenge and maybe change the prizes to lower prizes. Also you get prizes for a 4,4.5, 5, and 5.80 starred look plus is you get a best look but at 4.5 stars you only get 25 diamonds I feel like you should get 50 diamonds for the 4.5 star and give an item of clothing plus 100 diamonds for a 5 star look. Especially when you get 5000 diamonds for a 5.8 score. We all work hard on the game and deserve more being put back into us the players. That is all.

Awesome game, but can be annoying. This game is awesome, but there are a few things that annoy me. First of all, when you try to earn diamonds by playing other games it doesn’t work. I understand that the people who make this game obviously can’t make it perfect, but when I need diamonds I will play other games to earn diamonds and I won’t get any. This is very annoying because I need diamonds quick to finish style challenges in time and I usually don’t have enough. They do have events where you can play challenges to get hair accessories, which I appreciate. It would be really nice if they could do more of these events. They also have “runway rallies” in fashion houses where you can get a hair accessories if you get enough board pieces, which is also nice. Also, it would be greatly appreciated if they could give more diamonds for the rewards in the style challenges. As it is, you get 25 diamonds when you get a score of like 4 or higher and 5000 diamonds when you get a perfect score along with an item at 4 stars and another item at 5 stars. If the score of 4 or higher was a hundred diamonds or something it would be a lot nicer because then you can continue playing more style challenges without running out of diamonds. Otherwise the game is pretty nice and very fun.

EXPENSIVE!. I’m not one to write a review but here I am. I love this game but beware that everything is really expensive! I’ve had this game for a while and I can’t seem to level up. I’ve been playing this game everyday for 4 months and I still haven’t gone from level 5 to level 6. It’s fun but everything costs 1,000-2,000 dollars (of game money.) No one is going to be able to buy that! I think the developers just want money and they don’t care about their customers. I was reading a lot of reviews and I noticed that every time a developer responded to a review they were repeating themselves like it was the same response as a lot of others. If they don’t take time to personalize their responses I think it’s bad customer service. I really think that they had this game good until things started getting expensive and the developers started wanting money and stopped good customer service. Get this game but please know that this game has it’s downsides. Also, on style challenges they ask you to buy 5 things just to enter in and I think it should be less than that because it’s too expensive for players that are just starting off. Overall it’s fun but for players starting out it’s not the best game. I don’t think it’s as enjoyable for players at level 1-10. Please listen and take action to this because people have been sending in reviews for years about the same thing and nothing seems to happen each year. Thanks🌸

Unfair and too expensive. I’ve been playing this game on and off since 2016 and it’s still the same, sadly. The voting process- don’t even get me started . The ones that win don’t look like what the challenge said. I have to pay 8.99 for 1 hair accessory? That’s almost $10 (because of tax) that should be for ALL the hair pieces! That’s outrageous! I want to participate in the fairytale challenges but in order to win I need one and I’m only level 6 which also brings me back to the voting. Stop putting my level 6 with a level 35. They definitely will look better than me and it’s not fair. Can you bring back casual wear challenges instead of always having to put on a gown? Like maybe one with jeans or something? A soccer mom or going to see a play instead of forest queen and stranded in the desert! I’ve actually spent money on this game I don’t know why. It definitely needs improvement and why can’t you buy money? I want to level up but it’s going to take me forever especially since I have to keep using my tickets to enter challenges I’ll never win. And when we get the cash and tickets but I haven’t used all my tickets, it fills some up but when I use the tickets again I would like to come back and claim the rest of the tickets I couldn’t before. I’ll have 39 tickets and you’re giving me 75 but I can only take 36 so I expect to still receiver tickets the next time I open the message!

Great potential, falls short. Winning looks in challenges are too dependent on the hairstyle and props (changes to background of model, items she can hold), instead of the clothing. This is an issue because arguably the clothing is the most important, and secondly, hairstyles and props are dependent on your level. I’ve noticed the outfits will be the same or similar, but the higher-rated ones have more extravagant hairstyles. Since lower levels are judged against high levels, this is unfair like other reviews are saying. The game could be improved if these things were changed imo: 1. Divide challenges into beginners, intermediates, experts, and even a non-ranked challenge. 2. Include some challenges without props to increase focus on the core “fashion” aspect of the game. 3. Make items easier to get without paying real money. I don’t have any ideas to suggest for this, all I know is it needs to change. Due to the “un-worn” feature that calculates a bonus into your final outfit score, items are not encouraged to be re-used, so you end up buying a whole new outfit for each challenge. I appreciate the option to “reset un-worn” items with in-game cash to gain the bonus but truly, unless you are willing to spend $$$, these costs will quickly become a problem and make you eventually have to give up the game. This game is easily the best fashion design app and has so much potential, so I hope the developers implement some of the changes many of the reviews are talking about.

fun but could use improvements!. Overall this is a fun game. I’ve been playing on and add since 2013. I do wish they would change a couple things. I wish you could try on multiple un-purchased items at a time. Sometimes i’m not sure if things will go well together and would like to be able to see them simultaneously. I also wish they would add an ability to keyword search. Sometimes I know i’ve seen an item but i have to scroll through many years of products just to find it because the predetermined filters don’t include what i’m looking for. I also wish there was a way to purchase hair accessories or props without spending real money. I understand the app needs to make money but it’s a little frustrating because most of the top voted looks are decked out with hair accessories and props that I imagine most users don’t have access to because they are not willing to continuously spend $8.99 for each set of hair accessories or props. Even if it cost gems that would be better than money. I would address some of the problematic racial issues but I read a few comments before mine who summed those up perfectly. I can see where they’ve attempted to be more inclusive but there is definitely still room for improvement. I also think including men or non-binary models would be fun as it is not just women who enjoy fashion!

Game needs serious update!. Problem: no way to get ahead if you’re a new player….the cash given to buy and play has NOT been increased since the beginning of the game! While new expensive designers are added to the game there’s NO money to buy them….no hope of getting any…must want us to lay out hard earned non existent cash for a game to “win”…lol , no way we win…you can “buy” the monthly pass which allows you to go to the head of the class essentially & collect the coin many will never see. The best rewards are the ones not available to many of us newbies…if you played in 2015 you will have the required pieces others don’t….it’s unfair! The subtle racism has been “fixed” with more AA, Asian challenges….which are won by white designs?!!?? How does this work….many in our house have left, quit due to the unfair practices and the rising cost of life! Who has $50 a wk to play a game…if you want to “win” you’ll have to open your wallet. Mine has stayed closed, I seldom win, I’ve no designer clothes, no pass, no pay to win button…I will likely hang up my sketch pad, not fun, it’s arm twisting, stress filled because if your stuff isn’t the best, you’ll get kicked to the curb and it’ll be up to you to apply to houses for a job…lol…stress filled game…if you’ve ready cash you want to be alleviated…this is the game! You can say you’re a “covet designer “….sad! Play something else…

Fun, addictive, needs minor improvements. This game is super fun and really well-made. Beware, it’s addicting...and everything isn’t free. There are some minor improvements I would recommend (although these conditions are probably intentional efforts to increase revenue for the game...but hey, maybe if we complain enough they will listen): 1.) have skill brackets where comparable leveled players compete in voting rather than grouping all levels together, which gives higher-level players the advantage because they have better hair/makeup options 2.) introduce a search feature, or more detailed category selections, to make finding garments easier. 3.) allow Covet cash to cover diamond purchases when diamonds are insufficient. 4.) allow hair and accessory packages to be purchased using diamonds rather than actual currency. 5.) make previously favorited/loved garments accessible when creating outfits so they can be easily retrieved and purchased without unnecessary efforts to locate them by scrolling through hundreds of other items. 6.) allow one borrowed item PER OUTFIT. 7.) allow shirts/sweaters to be layered over dresses....or really just layering multiple clothing items in general. People do it..it’s a thing. 8.)ALLOW MANUAL SELECTION OF BODY TYPES...please :) The rationale for the ‘modern body’ option (which randomly assigns you one...but it’s somehow always still Barbie thin?) is ridiculous. Evidenced by them not doing a similar set up with skin tones!

Prizes that serve no purpose.. I don’t understand the logic of spending money earned on challenges, for garments, accessories, shoes etc, to complete another challenge only up win an item that just .... sits in your closet taking up space? I guess you obviously want the value so it helps you level up. But it just seems like a dumb waste of space. Would it not make more sense / give the player more incentive if the item they won, could be used in a preceding challenge? How many “Terrani Couture” gowns do I really need when not a single challenge requires one? Certainly not one of the ones I have won. I would have to say it’s the one thing that makes this game pretty amateur, and it alters the strategy and frequency of game play for the player. I don’t enter challenges for the prizes, I enter it for the cash - and then I horde it for times when there is a series happening so I can actually afford to play in it. Anyone with any “gaming” sense knows that when you have a challenge - you should have a prize that the player wants - and they should want that prize because it will be helpful in the future. Also - the “jet set” challenges are just stupid. If you want to insert a function which your players are incapable of leveling up - you could at least be subtle about it. But even I’ve noticed that I’ve never had to vote for a challenge beyond a certain point. Why bother?

Fun but expensive. I enjoy playing the game but, it is expensive. It’s quite frustrating that the diamonds are not able to be earned easily. The challenges, while offering diamonds as a prize, are quite difficult to climb high enough if you do not initially spend a lot of money to buy the stuff. It’s frustrating. Spending even just $10 for diamonds only gets a few challenges out of it as long as you don’t buy the most expensive pieces. It’s truthfully not the best way to treat the customers. Even the “earn diamonds” section where you can subscribe to stuff is a bit of a joke. You do have the option of borrowing from someone in your fashion house but either your fashion house is hard core you need to enter every challenge, or there isn’t enough people to enter challenges or borrow from anyone. I don’t agree with the way the scoring is and how people are judged. There can be a level 106 against a level 3. There can be people who create a look completely inline with what the challenge requests but someone else will do better scoring wise in nothing related to the challenge at all. I do take a break from the game every now and again and still the complaints are the same. They have done a slightly better job being inclusive for diversity but most of the “diverse looks” are still pretty stereotypical. Creating a look that’s “Asian” instead of honoring the various cultures and countries that make up that continent.

Takes time, but quite fun. I’ve been playing Covet for a number of years and I’ve enjoyed many things about it. People are likely to complain about all kinds of things, but I’ve enjoyed the overall setup of the game. You can totally play this game without spending money. There are different levels of players and depending on how a person is playing they play differently. This isn’t a game people who need instantaneous rewards for are likely to want to play or enjoy playing as you do have to work to level up. But that’s pretty expected. You can play it on a relatively basic level where you just enter the daily challenges and the other ones you can afford (which is how I started out). Once you have a big enough closet (both out of season and in season) you might consider joining a fashion house and entering rallies. People complain about a level 4 being judged against a level 70 and all I can say is that we were all level 4 at some point and truthfully I don’t think most people vote for the higher level just because it’s higher, they vote for the look that looks best (which is sometimes the level 4). I’m currently the highest level, take part in fashion house rallies, I enter almost every single challenge and don’t spend a single real life dollar to do it.

I enjoy this game a lot, but.... I’ll start by saying that I’ve played this game for about 4 years, and I’ve enjoyed it a lot so far. I have a really great Fashion House and they’re part of the reason I’ve played for as long as I have. However, I have a really hard time continuing to play when the cost of diamonds is so high. Prices of the requirements are increasing, and getting Top Looks feels near impossible, even when following “trending” looks, so getting enough diamonds to complete challenges doesn’t happen unless you pay astronomical prices for them. Covet also offers “incentives” through TapJoy, which is a problematic company in itself, but in order to receive diamonds you need to either spend a lot of money for not a lot of diamonds, or spend 20 minutes on a survey to get 10-50 diamonds. I love the game, but I hate being locked behind a paywall. I can’t in good conscious recommend the game because of the amount of times I’ve had to sit out of a challenge I really wanted to do because the requirements were too high. I’ll also mention, I’m extremely careful with how I spend diamonds/cash, and only spend on items when I absolutely have to, so my issues do not come from irresponsible spending, but the insanely high prices and low payouts. Play at your own risk, and know that eventually you may need to spend real money on fake currency in order to play.

Do Not Buy This Game. there are so many things wrong with this game that you cant even call it a game at this point, rather the title "money grubbing application" fits more. the voting is disgusting and can easily be abused. the jet set challenges are more difficult when needed to be. you need to spend countless hours to level up, and you pretty much need to pay to get anything above 4.5 stars. the voting system puts you up against people at every level, meaning that your look gets unfairly judged. what i highly recommend that you app developers get through your heads is that you change that voting system as soon as possible. I'm sick and tired of getting out against level 50s 60s 90s put me up against MY LEVEL. second off. make the jet set challenge voting more prevalent i am so sick of getting one per day while i have to vote on the same challenge 5+ times. These items you put out are expensive and i run out of money everyday. It is like you prioritize your money over gameplay and an actual good fashion game. this is what inclines your app users to spends tons of money on items. I suggest you take a chance to listen to your one star reviews if you don't want to be considered a horrible excuse of a fashion app. I know there are better ones I can spend more time on. If you really cared about the subjects of those fashion challenges you put out, you wouldn't commoditize them, rather you would make them priceless.

Not impressed.... So I want to start out by saying I do really like playing this game I love fashion and getting to play dress up but honestly there are some things about the game that make it not so fun... for one it’s nearly impossible to get the money to buy the clothes. I am not one to spend my own personal money on games, but regardless the pieces are so expensive it takes all my money just to buy a dress for a challenge or something. And the voting is a joke. When you look at the top outfits for challenges it’s almost always the same outfit with like some jewelry that’s different or something and to me that’s just stupid especially when the outfit has nothing to do with the theme of the actual challenges. People that are on higher levels get put up against lower level people that don’t even have access to half the stuff their opponent does, so they automatically lose. I’ve read a lot of people’s reviews and these are things other people are frustrated about to so I guess if covet really doesn’t want to make the necessary changes to make their game better then there’s no reason for me to continue using it.... when the only challenge I can do is the daily one because it doesn’t require me to buy a 2000$ dress with 1000$ shoes, it gets pretty boring.

Uneven voting. Levels are done by what your closest is worth. So someone, who’s closet is worth $400,000, is level 12. Someone who is at level 46, has a closet that is worth $3.7 million dollars. The more items in your closet, the higher the value of your closet. The more items you have to chose from, the better your results. So how is it fair, to put a level 12 next to a level 46, and have voters choose the best look? Clearly the odds are in the favor on the person who has more items in their closest. Obviously the person who is a higher level is good at design, so it’s not like that they got there by luck. If you are going to have voters choose, put a level 12 against a level 11 or 13, maybe a 14. I think they are aiming to get people to buy more diamonds to add things to their closest, because you pretty much have to buy more to get to the higher levels. Also, to get things like tiaras and veils (they have bridal challenges), you have to be at the higher levels AND pay $9 to unlock them. I decided to try one design with a tiara, and a similar design on another without a tiara. The one with a tiara got a 4.96 rating from voters. The one that didn’t, barely got a 4 rating. Unblock a few more accessories or at minimum, give one vail, and a tiara like headpiece. Or, don’t make people pay for every single hair accessory. Get to the levels unlock the basic ones, and the more elaborate ones you can charge for. Fix the uneven voting and I’ll change my rating.

Addictive. I love this game... but it can be really frustrating. For instance: I enter every single challenge - therefore winning a lot of free items... and I get a ton of one brand or another and whenever that brand is required for a challenge, those pieces aren’t included. Or rarely included. Sometimes they have pieces (especially jewelry pieces) that are even named the same thing and one will be accepted as a required piece and the other isn’t. I don’t get it. Also, I own many of the hair accessories after playing for a couple years (& I am now only 10 levels away from the max!), but there was a glitch a while back that allowed us to use different HA’s on any hair style.... and I wish they did more of that. There are quite a few accessories that would be used a lot more often if you didn’t have to use short or ugly hair with it. The coloring on some of the hair is weird too. I also wish the “Covet” pieces could be used all the time on any season we are on. Tattoos should be able to be worn with gloves. Aside from that, I have always loved dressing people up, starting at Barbie & then helping my sisters and friends, and this game makes me so happy! I love the variety of looks I can do - even if some of the looks are a bit weird when we have to add a handbag to a situation that would never need a handbag! Lol. Even with my complaints I enter every challenge and love the game.

Voting, TL, Borrowing, Challenges. Like others have stated, the game is fun and I do like playing. BUT, 1) I strongly believe the team needs to review how voting is done. Why would a level 10 player go against a level 55??? The higher level of course is going to get the vote. Higher levels always do because they have the cool makeup or hairstyle. Work on this Covert! 2) Top Look/Perfect Score is usually always the high levels and all the looks-look the same. What happened to fashion being an expression of one’s personality. 3) Borrowing, again I strongly believe the team needs to review the rules and update them. Players who are in a Fashion House and have Friends should be allowed to borrow 1 item from each per outfit. Do a test run and see if we the players responded positively or negatively. 4) This is a pive of mine. Please y’all check your spelling and grammar. Most of the time I have to piece together words to figure out the challenge. 5) About challenges, if you ask the players to dress a nurse, you should provide scrubs as an option. That is just one example. I could literally go on. 6) Hair accessories should be an award, players should not have to spend $8.99 of our money. If you want to charge than players should be allowed to purchase with game money or diamonds. 7) A big pive of mine is being required to purchase jewelry on a challenge and because of the scene the earrings don’t even show. Other than the things I mentioned, the game is fun.

Annoying. I remember playing this game yearssss ago and it was so much fun. I recently downloaded it again and it has changed so much. Everything is so expensive so I can’t really play the game the way I would like. I can only buy the cheapest options to meet the min requirements for competitions and with how expensive everything is I can only enter the daily challenge and maybe 1-2 other challenges. On top of that the prizes are hideous and hard to get. You need to be rated at least 4.0/5 stars to get a prize. I don’t get how the rating works either because I see people on level 5 getting put up against people on level 13 and 22. Of course someone at level 5 is not going to be able to compete with someone on levels way above them. You get $100 cash to enter competitions, but it’s cost soooo muuuch so you’re never really making progress. I can’t actually buy things that I want and find cute. You get boosts for using unworn and “in season” items but not by much. If you wear anything not in season you lose points which is absurd. Bottom line items are too expensive, prizes are ugly and hard to get, and competitions are ridiculous all around. It’s not fun when you don’t get to spend your money on things you actually want, but instead have to buy the cheapest options to meet the min requirements to join competitions. Seriously why is a purse 1000+ cash or gems? Why is a $495 bracelet a requirement to enter a competition? Not fun

Covet Game. I love this game! I’ve played it for 3 years now. It’s fun because they use actually designer brands. The clothing, shoes, and handbags look so realistic. The hairstyles and faces that you unlock are beautiful. They added props a while ago which adds another fun component to accessorize with. The themes are usually really fun. One thing occasionally I see that I do not like is when they have occasional stories that get political. I don’t like people’s views being pushed on me. I’m literally there to play and have fun...escape reality for a moment. I have complained to them about this and I haven’t seen one of these stories in probably several months so I’m happy about that. The hair accessories are cool I just wish you could use them on any hairstyle as opposed to just primarily really high levels for the good ones. I’m almost at level 35 and I still feel limited with all my hair accessories because many won’t unlock until levels 50+. I love the seasonal/holiday themed challenges also. Additionally, fashion houses are a great way to level up quickly. It does take a while to find a great fashion house, I was in quite a few until I finally was asked to join a really nice up and coming one which is now super successful. I love Covet and definitely recommend it to everyone!

Eeeerrrrr!!!. Wow i e watched 3 videos for coins and received none now ive wasted all my money on a look i cant even enter !!!. Its ridiculous how much this game glitches wen watching videos for coins almost like its on purpose!.. I'm getting fed up with this game its no fun wen u guys dont give out nearly enuff money or coins to buy anything for it... ive been playing this game on an off for over 5 yrs and dont even have 1,000$ to spend !!.. this is the most realistic fashion game ther is and i love this game and dont want to stop playing but its turning out to be stressful wen its supposed to relieve stress to play !!. I wish u guys would make some changes so that people like me an many others could afford to play because i can not afford to constantly buy coins and money as im sure many other people can not afford it as well.. i really hope ur team at covet fashion reads this an considers some options .. on another note ive scored over 4.0 on almost rvery single look working with less then 1,000$ and less than 1,000 diamonds if i could be able to earn money an diamonds an easier way i would be able to do some amazing things so please please i really hope for a little change it would mean the world because fashion is wat i love to do .. thank you for taking the time to read this and i look forward to your teams response!.. Sincerely, Amber Dawn

Fun but frustrating. I have been playing this game on and off for the last four years or so. It’s a lot of fun, and is honestly one of my favorite games to play. It is incredibly frustrating for a couple of different reasons. 1) The voting system is terrible. Looks are voted on by other players, but sometimes a level 6 is pitted against a level 57 and there is literally no way someone just starting out could compete with the closet, hair, and makeup available to a level 57! I try to level the playing field by always voting for the one with the lowest-level hair. Someone with a gorgeous fancy hairstyle is probably a high level, whereas I can easily recognize the lower-level hairstyle. I know it’s not fair to judge this way, but I feel it’s the only way to give the newer players a chance! The next thing is actually my biggest frustration with the game. When you first start off playing, you advance levels pretty easily—I want to say every $25,000 or $50,000 spent (of Covet money, of course! Not real money, lol). Then, once you reach a certain point, you only level up every $100,000. It makes the game a lot less fun for me. I’m not trying to spend a ton of my own money, which I’m sure many of the higher-level people do (I always imagine them as housewives who don’t work but have an unlimited amount of money to spend on an app), so it takes foreverrrrr to level up. any other complaints are minor, but if these two things were fixed, the game would be almost perfect.

Covet Review. I love this app so much. It is an amazing app, but like every good one, there is always a catch. You have to check the app almost every day to receive prizes and you constantly have to buy new clothing items. I you don’t have enough tickets, dollars, or diamonds to buy something or even enter a challenge, you therefore cannot enter the challenge. This has been a pain for me because when a challenge interests me, I am always having to check every little thing to make sure that I am able to do the challenge. You can join a Fashion House, which allows you to chat and ask opinions on an outfit or challenge. BUT. You need to always check your chat and participate because they can kick you out if f your fashion house. Another thing I don’t like is that it takes so long to get the results. I understand that when in voting it may take a while, but I think voting times should be closer to 4-6 hours. Waiting 18 hours for a mobile outfit is unrealistic. A suggestion to help this would be have a calculation process. It could help by additional points on an outfit, but also help the rating results being calculated during the voting. That way, the second the voting time is over, you get your results. Now, like I said, I love this app. There are many amazing things apart of this app. Don’t let the bad parts have a huge difference on you. Cover fashion really is an amazing game.

Its a Game. I have played this game for years and like most games to get in the higher levels you do have to spare some money and pay for diamonds and other such things in order to advance. Which isn't unusual and quite honestly havent met a game especially a fashion based one that hasnt done that. For me i majority of the time play this game for the pure experience of pleasure. Especially since they have two different modes that allow you to dress different sizes its quite nice and refreshing. I see a lot of copycat versions and they dont look as appealing as this one. If you dont like spending money dont play this game. If you take things too seriously...dont play this game. If this is a career rather then just for fun..you really shouldnt play this game. This game should be for fun and being able to vote on other outfits, be in houses to share clothes and tips, and just all around having fun dressing up. The reason for the five stars. 1. very easy for me to get around on the game. 2. you can level up without spending just takes longer🤷🏽‍♀️. 3. even with maintenance they usually make out for that in some type of way. regardless of how others whine and complain. 4. its something to do when i have some time. 5. its fun and calming. Try it if you want to waste a few minutes when you have the spare time.

Bittersweet. Covet is really fun to play...but it’s really expensive...first of all each level and there are 76 levels currently take a lot of in game money to reach...I have been playing since 2014 and am at level 73 and I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game I’m pretty sure a couple of thousands within these 5 years...I could have saved that money but when times in life are hard it does become an outlet and you can socialize in your fashion house...oh and it can take you a whole year to get a Top Look or more...also the winning looks are almost all the same and there are houses that pretty much cheat by determining the best look...let’s also talk about skin color...aka colorism...it’s really hard to win a Challenge with a dark skin model even if the look is drop dead gorgeous because the challenge pictures are mostly of white models...Cover is becoming more diverse but players usually follow the challenge pic...really beautiful dark models do score high most of the time but if the challenge pic isn’t a picture of a person of color then forget about a top look smh...also I agree the voting isn’t fair at all...I’m currently playing the daily and a couple of challenges a day...I save from the daily challenge and daily diamonds Because I have spent too much money on this game this year so far smh...it’s addictive so be prepared and ave your coins!

Great Concept... But Not For Free. I’ve had this game on and off for years. It’s always been frustrating as it’s great concept and well designed game. The fashion is great and thought it the updates they have added more and more choice for the player. This is where it ends for the positives of this game. Playing recently, I have found that it is getting harder and harder to get a good score for challenges! I refuse to pay-for-play and as a result have become really handicapped. I’m only at level 8... (remember when I said I’ve been playing on and off for years? Other fad games I’ve played I’m well into the levels). Fashion items have become more costly to buy, you haven’t been given anymore chances to gain coin or diamonds... half of the chances to gain “free” diamonds either include things you have to pay for, or scam surveys... Great game... highly tilted towards people who pay, frustrating for those who want to play a game, that is “free”, for free...

Too big for itself now. I’ve been playing for years and I really love it, most reviews are accurate though about the criteria being difficult to meet to enter challenges without investing real money. I invest a reasonable amount of real money and I still find it difficult to meet the criteria or win much more than a basic prize. It is definitely suspicious that winning looks are all identical and comprise the most expensive items. Also now the game components ...closet and hair etc require high speed excellent internet service to load in anywhere near a reasonable timeframe, often when you bring up items eg glasses you don’t get your entire closet just a few. It would be good if you could go through and put heaps of stuff you don’t like in a recycle bin and only look at it if you needed too. A good game, pretty expensive definitely rigged and slow and hard to load but still a bit of fun if you have good internet.

Fun and Enjoyable. Hi, this game is really fun and great to kill time! I love the clothes (even though half of them may be too overpriced) and the challenges are fun too! One thing though that I think would really improve the game is to name your own looks (ones that you don’t enter in challenges) as it’s difficult to find specific designs I’ve made in the past. I also find it starts getting really tedious to level up from level 6 onwards especially when you don’t have lots of cash and diamonds if not wanting to spend real money on the game. Overall though, this game is really great and I love the new skin tones and makeup.

Great game but difficult to advance. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s a great game and I play regularly, though it’s VERY difficult to move up levels, also quite difficult to get decent ratings (as I’ve noticed with other players too). May be good to have the voting with only other people in your level (i.e a a level 5 outfit against another level 5 outfit) as being on level 7 getting scored against level 40+ when they’ve clearly spent quite a bit of real money (which I don’t really want to do). Be amazing if this could be fixed as I played this game years ago but stopped playing for this reason too.

Okay.. Well I have been playing this addictive game for years. The money is a problem to me, as for each time I enter a competition yea I get 500$ in the game but that can only buy you about 1 actually good thing. Most of the good jewellery is 1000 to 2000 Covet cash. And for requirements why are they even there?! It’s so fun to come up with your own creative look not having the same bag, necklace, and clothes as others. Also as a few other people said, the competition seems rigged. I’m not sure how but this person in my fashion house got a perfect score 9 times in a row. Anyway another thing, if you are away from a fashion house for weeks or month's, in my inbox it always says “ covet kicked you from fashion house.” I would love to call this game good..but not really. It only seems Okay to me. I hope some people found this helpful!!

Competitions seem rigged. I’ve been using this app off and on for a few years now. There is a great variety of various types of clothes to choose from which you use to style the models for competitions. These competitions win you more items of clothing, in-game cash and even diamonds if you score high enough. However, once a competition is finished being judged (supposedly by other members using the app), you get a score and are able to see what the top scoring looks were for that particular competition. I’ve been curious to see what these top scoring looks are as I can never seem to get high scores. I’ve noticed that most of the top scoring looks are almost identical, just the hair and makeup are different.....and maybe 1 or 2 other things. In almost all of the supposed ‘top scoring looks’ all of the models are wearing exactly the same thing! How is that possible considering these competitions are judged from people all around the world who are using this app. Considering there is such a massive variety of clothes to choose from, I find it very hard to believe that the ‘top scoring looks’ from around 100 different users all look the same. Pretty sure it’s rigged to get you to pay more money to score higher.

Waste of time. I actually have come to hate this game now. Been playing on and off for a couple of years now and the game has changed quite a bit since I started. With all the recent changes and new added features to the game, it has made the app super laggy and glitchy to play. It’s super slow and on multiple occasions I had accidentally somehow bough items I didn’t want because the app wasn’t moving onto the next screen for ages. Now we have to talk about the recent Facebook outages. It’s fair enough that apps run into problems here and then and I wasn’t mad at first, but my goodness it took so long for it to get fixed. I missed out on so many challenges because I couldn’t borrow, yet the compensation that the game offered was laughable. And after all this, our fashion house still pushed on and actually managed to win a grand prize from the rally! But oh surprise… 2000 diamonds. Why do I even try anymore.

Totally Addicted. Great Game but wow you can spend a fortune keeping up with the trends it has become more and more expensive as daily flashbacks often require fashion packs and Top Looks are hard to come by, you can play without spending but then you miss expensive prizes that you need for future looks and if you want all the extras like hair accessories and props and covet collection items you can’t afford to miss events it’s a bit of a trap and you can end up addicted to this game but it’s lots of fun and lots of great groups to socialise with other players on Facebook but you will spend hours each day being totally absorbed, goodbye real world hello covetland lol! Play like a pro & Join our HCV group Fashion Empire!! Level 65+ 😉

Raiding our wallets. I like the concept. Its fun for someone not a fashion junkie to see what others create. That being said, you have to spend real money to get anywhere in the game. The daily login is peanuts to what items cost. It also seems only current season is available for cash where past seasons are all diamonds. Also no way to search based on the amount of funds you have. To reset items to unworn costs the same as buying it to start with. So why not buy something else. In all honesty, I only vote on looks where I can tell they haven’t spent money on upgrades for props or fantasy hair, that’s just takes the fun out of it I feel. I do like saving others peoples looks to help with my style in the future in my real wardrobe.

Best fashion game - BUT BEWARE. I’ve downloaded and deleted this game countless time since 2016. Every year it seems to get harder to play without being RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I don’t mind paying for game apps, but this always becomes almost as expensive as buying REAL fashion just to be able to compete. The prizes are never items you can use in style challenges + you need to buy bundles almost daily just to keep up. Also, without spending a fortune - I mean hundreds - you can’t level up: it takes MONTHS to move up ONE level and with such limited makeup and hair styles it’s almost impossible to compete in challenges to any high standard. There’s so much more I could critique in frustration but since it looks like I’ll be deleting it AGAIN after months of play and waaaaay too much real money spent on it, I’ll leave it at this and recommend you act with caution and be prepared to spend almost a REAL LIFE designer wardrobe in order to play and enjoy this dangerously expensive app.

Not sure what y’all are complaining about?. I’ve read the comments saying how greedy covet is for overcharging to enter challenges and if not, then you are unable to level up in the game. I’ve been playing for a few years now, and it’s entirely possible to advance in the game without spending actual coin! I level up generally every few weeks. Borrow clothes from Facebook friends, join a fashion house, and you’ll be fine. I think being able to say people play this game over a number years is a testament to the developers of just how enjoyable the game is. Bravo Covet!

Greed Greed Greed. Ive been a regular player since 2013 & have watched the game implement strategy after strategy to make themselves richer & richer. They care nothing for players... so much so that it has come to the point where you literally cannot play without paying!! The ridiculous Covet Pass is one example. Along with Flashback event packs. And the mutitude of hair accessories. The overwhelming amount of hair & makeup styles make it impossible to keep track of what you like & want to use... so how about increasing the number of hairstyles & makeup you can add to your "like" lists? And dont get me started about the voting system. Levels should be matched evenly. A level 6 player being matched against a 90 level player is outrageously unfair. I could rant for hours about the glaring flaws in Covet. These are not new issues. They are ancient ones that have been raised by dedicated players for years & never acted upon by Covet. Shame on you!

Great Game but GREEDY as Heck. This is a fantastic concept for a game, and styling for the various challenges is great fun. But MY GOD, I’ve never come across a more expensive game in my life. The greed of the developers is breath-taking. And even if you spend bucket-loads of cash to complete challenges in rallies, (some of which have RIDICULOUS amounts of compulsory pieces,) the reward system is absolute garbage. My house won nearly all our challenges. We earned heaps of bonus puzzle pieces which should have seen us winning several decent prize bags. But NOPE. The algorithm they use spits out duplicate puzzle pieces 90% of the time which is a blatant rip off. After a rallies in which we’ve smashed the goals, we’ve all won a SINGLE small prize bag which was practically worthless. Unbelievable. So many players drop this game after a few levels because they just can’t afford to continue, and those of us who stay and spend hundreds of dollars for the privilege are repeatedly ripped off by the lack of genuinely decent rewards and the seeming disregard of the developers to build and maintain loyalty among the players. If they recalibrated the rewards system so people felt like they weren’t constantly being taken advantage of, this game would launch into the stratosphere. As it is right now, players are leaving in droves, and I’m about to join them. Recommended for rich people only.

Must get it!. I see people saying they have been playing for years and aren’t moving up levels, well I have been playing for 4ish months and I am on level 8 so it isn’t rigged. You just may need a update. The makeup and hairstyles are really good and the hair accessories are so creative and pretty! You should definitely get this game, even if there might be teeny tiny problems, it is worth it. # downloadNow Idea for the app owners: adding with the new hairstyle accessory update, you should actually legitimately let players design there own accessory for hair( as in designing there own crown or something)! Like as a prize or if you reach a certain level, like halfway or something.

Update on last review. Wanted to provide an update because a few years ago I wrote a review that mentioned there weren’t a lot of makeup, and hair accessories that suited darker skintones. Covet seems to have made a lot of effort in the last few years to rectify this; they’ve added new deep skin tones, added more variety in textured hair options for dark-skinned folks, and have added a few makeup options that suit for African/Caribbean face shapes. Still a little room for improvement (especially with the makeups) but they’ve come leaps and bounds. It would be nice if there were a few more Asian makeup options as well, but overall I can tell Covet has made a lot of effort to be more inclusive of different ethnicities, so I wanted to let them know that their efforts have been noticed. :)

Great app but I have some problems.. Ok. Well I love your app and all but there are some things that have made me get a little annoyed. Not that it's not my fav app. Ok well firstly I have been voting and I have seen some disturbing things. Some people have been naked. It's rude and unpleasant. Next is the fact that when your doing challenges you can't mix and match. When you try on something you haven't bought you can't try it with another you haven't bought. If you could please fix these minor issues. Thanks. But overall this is my favourite app! Keep on doing amazing!! 😄😊

Best game ever. I have been playing since May and I think this is absolutely the best game ever. The makeup, hair and the props make the game so much fun. Covet is undeniably the best game I have ever played it gives so many different goal points which show you how to work hard to level up it is one of a kind, I recommend, it shows you how to work as a team with the fashion houses and daily challenges to strive people of all ages to play. Covet has a variety of different styles that you can follow or look on a virtual person and even gives you access to some amazing brands of clothing.I love this game so much and can’t wait to see the game grow and level up :)

Good game, unplayable without real $$$. The game itself is fantastic. But it’s by far the most expensive game I’ve ever played. I recreated my account after 3-4 years’ hiatus, and within a few hours of play, I’m at a point where I can’t progress any further without spending real money. Every single competition requires me to buy 4-5 new items in order to enter, but I’ve run out of diamonds and cash to buy them. There’s no option anywhere to watch ads for cash/diamonds. My only option is to spend actual money to buy them. Looking at the in-app store, it’s $13 for 1000 cash and 4000 diamonds. That is only enough for a handful of items in the game, and would be easily spent just by meeting the minimum requirements to enter just 2 competitions, which translates to about 30 minutes of play. Absolutely absurd. I understand that this format is the very premise for the developer to profit, considering it is an ad-free game, but I would gladly play this game if it were riddled with ads. Once again, for what must be the fifth time, I’m deleting this game from my phone because I can’t justify the exorbitant costs to play it (this is coming from someone who earns 180k salary, if that tells you anything about the ridiculousness).

Addictive but.... Love this game. Its so addictive. I just wish we could get more money to spend from somewhere. Like when the results come back we could get money depending on how good our score was. I reckon it would be a good idea because it would make us want to create better looks. I played this game on and off for like 2 years because i just got sick of the fact that i never had money to spend. Heaps of people feel that way, so it would be awesome if the creators of covet would make an update like the one i suggested or better. More people would play it and it would be more enjoyable to play. Then and only then will i rate it 5 stars.

Good but flawed levelling. I have been playing Covet pretty consistently since 2016, and I do enjoy it (hence why I continue to play). I love being creative with the clothing, and especially the Covet Collection pieces and the series where you can win hair accessories or prop packs. However, I have been noticing more and more that it is difficult to make any progress. Despite playing for the best part of four years, I am still only on level 25. I have never spent any real money on the game, buying money or diamonds or anything, but progress should still be able to be made without doing so. I generally save up my daily $500 and diamonds so that I can splurge when it comes to the challenge series - I don’t have enough money otherwise. I do have fun playing the game, but I feel that their level system needs some re-evaluation to make it actually possible to do so. It is very difficult for lower-level players to win prizes or score highly in challenges because they have a lot less to work with in terms of hair and makeup, and they have to compete with all other levelled players so of course someone on the top level has an advantage. If you are playing this game, try not to get discouraged by your lack of level progress, and don’t let yourself be swayed into spending real money on the game.

Tips. To all the Coveters reading this review, If u are advanced player or just a beginner, once u sign up for Covet link the game to ur Facebook and find Covet groups on Facebook where u can find lots of friends which u can borrow expensive items in ur playing process. When u borrow a garment from friend they don’t lose anything and u don’t lose either, yet u get to save up money and enter more challenges. Don’t use real money if u don’t want, u can still earn diamonds by watching videos on the Covet app. And also try to find a good Fashion House because when ur house members are active and play runway rally u wan win very expensive gifts which will help to level up quickly. Good luck everyone

Poor customer experience. I have been playing for 8 years. Used to love the game but challenges are now very repetitive. Recent increase in glitches has also reduced enjoyment. Since I started, the game has become more focussed on profit, with a disregard for, and blatant disrespect of the players. Don’t bother, it’s just not worth the hassle. Now they have apparently introduced adds for new players, despite the fact that the game is one big add. I’m surprised any labels have stayed as the covet collection pieces now dominate the game. The latest fiasco is stealing tickets (used to enter challenges) that were accred when other players borrowed items from your closet. They claim they can’t give them back and have awarded minuscule numbers of tickets back to players.

Good but..... I love this game and the idea and stuff but it literally takes forever to vote and get enough tickets for actually submitting what you’ve done. Also I told my nan to download this app because it was fun but she was pretty upset to see nearly no one on the app looked like her. I understand there is the classic and modern models but can you PLEASE add plus size and maybe even more ethnicities since my nan is of colour and personally I think other people would like more inclusive bodies. I know how you want to show healthy bodies but sometimes it’s nice to see someone who looks a little like you. If you read this, thank you 😊💗

Very addictive. I love designing and playing fashion! Only thing is the scoring and voting ; somehow all the high scored designers end up having the same outfits, identical some of them and also they are the ones buying the extras as in props to add to their fashion model. Be good if these props were made free to use and also when you buy diamonds you don’t get many for your money to buy fashion items, I also play home design and that one is more for your money. I still enjoy playing fashion designs tho( I never seem to score higher than a 5 and my average is about 4.6 ) takes ages to get to the next level to get new hair do’s and makeup.

Entertaining and fun, but…. Covet is fun and challenging, and an entertaining way to pass the time, but I’ve been disappointed with the amount of money you need to spend to compete and make any real progress. Yes, you can play for free, but you’ll be stuck on the same level for a lengthy amount of time. The last flashback challenge was the tipping point for me. I bought fashion packs for the first three challenges, then the last one had an eight-garment requirement that couldn’t be almost covered with one fashion pack. Having to also purchase diamonds to complete the challenge was such a blatant money-grab that I finally deleted the app. I’d been feeling disappointed with the money side of things for a while, and now I’m done. Thanks for the fun game. It really was enjoyable aside from the financial issues.

Good game, but voting needs some work.. I have played this game on and off since it came out. Unfortunately it does work out to be very expensive if you want to move through the levels quickly. There is certain standards that need to be met to enter various challenges, kind of like quests - except very few people follow the brief. Higher levels have more hair and make up options and whilst they do look amazing, this seems to be what players vote on. Lowered levels are also put up against higher levels in the voting, with little to no chance of getting said vote. I do enjoy playing this game, and will continue to do so, but the voting needs have more transparency. Put level 63 up against lvl 60 - 65 instead of level 6.

Waste unless you’re rich.. I have been playing since 2013. Unless you have unlimited funds to buy in game cash and diamonds, it takes a very long time to progress levels. You have to spend more on a challenge than you get in rewards. Only looks that can afford the hair accessories and high level hair/make up win top looks, therefore even if your look is identical, you still aren’t being rewarded. And unless you are top level or buy diamonds you can’t enter flashback challenges even if you’ve played for years because they are always expensive items! It started out fun but now it’s all about the money and what the creators can get you to pay. Very disappointing that with all the updates and growth that it’s still all about the high in game purchases.

Underwhelmingly overwhelming, but addictive. I’ve been playing this game for YEARS, on and off. In this time I’ve only managed to get to level 9 due to 90% of challenges being extremely hard to meet the requirements for. If you wanna do well in this game it’s almost forced upon for you to make (overpriced) purchases. The real sense of fashion has been lost, it was more enjoyable when challenges were more life-like. Although don’t get me wrong I know everyone loves a fantasy challenge here and there. I really really really love this game, but it is so upsetting to see how modern-day consumerism has taken over and turned this into a game for people who are willing to spend potentially hundreds of dollars on it. And I’d be interested to know the percentage of users who have actually opened their wallets for this game. All in all, this game poops on every other fashion game, it’s just disappointing that it doesn’t offer equal chances among all users in regards to player success. And it probably won’t change either since the developers have already profited big time on their in app purchases

Greedy company. With the world in crisis Covet withdrew a game feature that allowed players to generate more cash at the same time of issuing pieces of jewellery over $20k and a $44k jacket made from endangered crocodile - keep in mind that $37k is $160 REAL AUD. On top of this they do not listen to their millions of fans that have been playing the game for years and their IT Support is the worst I’ve ever come across. Several times (and after waiting 3 weeks for a response) I’ve had my help case closed without them helping me at all! Which meant I had to log another case and wait another few weeks. The longest I waited for a response was 2 months. RIDICULOUS! I was a daily player spending my hard earned money on their virtual clothing and hair accessories. I’ve spent $2k just in the last 6 months. I have no motivation to play and I will never spend a cent on Covet unless they bring back the referral bonus.

fun but expensive. I’ve been playing this game since 2013, it’s always been fun and it’s less reliant on in app purchases than most games. However, ever since the hair accessories got introduced it’s so much more difficult to create good looks without spending money. It’s still possible to rank high without the,, but i’ve noticed all the looks that win challenges will have so many accessories and props. And this wouldn’t even be as bad if it weren’t so expensive. Like if it was max $5 per hair accessories pack i feel like i’d have bought multiple by now but one credit for $14 is ridiculous. Like i said, the accessories aren’t necessary but they’ll help out so much and it’s so difficult to get a 5 star look without any.

I play every day. I love the game, and have been playing for a couple of years now. There are no other fashion games as good - but You pretty much have to spend money to actually get yourself ahead. Even with entering every daily challenge etc. Things I would like to see changed: -Not as many flashback challenges, AND flashback challenges not included in rally’s, I am on level 30 and still could never enter a flashback challenge without spending real money, and I’m talking up to $15 AUD just to be able to buy the clothes to meet the requirements. As they are included in our rally’s, it is impossible for us to ever meet the house goal as majority of our members, including myself, are unable to enter them. The max number of entries into these challenges in our house of 14 members is 3. - Hair accessory prices are way too expensive but it’s great to see them being offered as prizes now through the series challenges. - Some kind of small reward for entering jet set challenges each time. And more information for the styling of each challenge.

Game will steal your money. I had been using this app for half a year and I love it. It sucked that I had to sometimes pay for more diamonds to buy more outfits but I still enjoyed it. Until a few months later money was stolen from my account Via this app and their other App Home Designs. Feeling suspicious I deleted both apps and was investigating the money being taken from my account. 2 weeks after I had deleted both apps, more money was taken from my account. My bank and Apple Confirmed that these 2 payments were made via these two apps, which I was absolutely gutted by considering I loved these two apps and I had deleted them and hadn’t purchased anything. I emailed CovetFashion support regarding my issues and they turned it around on me and took no accountability. I would say unfortunately, don’t risk it.

Mixed feelings. Game is super addictive and you can create some pretty fantastic looks, but unless you want to spend money you can’t do much for long. Entering challenges doesn’t give you much cash or diamonds in return so the only way to actually be able to complete many of the looks is to pay. It’d be great if there were other ways to earn them, or if they slowly replenished to a certain level over time. Another issue that I’ve seen mentioned is the top looks from many challenges all look the same for some reason (ie use the same main garment), how is that possible with different people voting and creating? And so many of the submitted looks don’t meet the listed criteria.

I disagree with the other reviews. I’d like to react to some of the other reviews. First, people have been saying oh yeah I have been playing on and off for years and I haven’t gotten anywhere and the same people always win, ect. I initially thought the same thing when I started playing in 2017. But I’m 2020 I redownloaded the app and I have found that if you have the time and the patience to play, it’s really fun and you can get really far. Also I’m gonna add that I am starting to become one of the people that win all the time and enter about 25 style challenges per week, however, I haven’t spent a single scent in this game because Im still a kid. I definitely recommend this game and if you’ve tried it before and not been satisfied then you should come back over the years, especially right now while we are in quarantine. I love you covet!

THIS GAME IS RLY GOOD!. Hi, I would just like to say, to any people who might want to download this, that this is a REALLY good game. Naturally, there is a few in-app purchases, but the good thing is, if you complete a certain amount of challenges in a specific time period (this occasionally happens, and I like to take full advantage when it DOES) the game can gift you with prop packs, and hair accessories. There are tons of outfits to choose from, from a million different brands, and a sparse variety of hairstyles, and makeup. Only suggestion would be this: If you can, can you please allow us to change the eye colours in the makeup? This would be an immense favour to me, my friends (who also ADORE Covet), and many other users, I’m sure. Thanks so much, even if you can’t do this! This game has been my LIFE, I play it EVERY day, and I absolutely LOVE it. Thanks again!!!

All about the money. I really loved this game , I've invested a lot of time into it but one thing that puts me off is the ridiculous criteria of each event. Over the years the amount of items needed to enter a challenge has skyrocketed and includes things with exuberant prices , making it virtually impossible to enter anything unless you're willing to pay up. They fixed this for a short period of time , allowing players to enter easier challenges and build up some cash to enter harder things, but since the new update this feature seems to have gone missing now allowing you to choose items from more specific groups rather then allowing you a little more leeway. Alternatively you can complete activities through tapjoy that rewards you with diamonds , however , in my experience, the activities that grant large payouts often shut you out towards the end or go "unnoticed" and you never get your diamonds , despite sending several messages to customer service for both Covet and tapjoy.

Pay for votes. I have played this game for years , have enjoyed it and have spent money on it which I think is fair enough as game developers need to eat too. However the introduction of a subscription service has really ruined this game for me. Now you can pay a monthly fee for the privilege of using items you already bought, so that you can use them “out of season” without penalty. I would have been willing to pay a one off fee to unlock these items, but no way will I pay for this. Bring in a subscription service that gives me diamonds and some kind of item and I will consider it.

Brilliant but frustrating!. Love the game, I really do! BUT... having played on and off since late 2013, it’s very obvious that Crowdstar needs to rethink its reward system. While prices of most of the clothing needed to complete the challenges is out of Crowdstar’s control (being real world clothing at real world prices), it is time to increase the entry rewards to reflect the increase in clothing prices over the last 7 years. Clothes are more expensive, but the rewards have not changed at all in that time. Given that there are also now additional real world revenue streams, (in app purchases of diamonds, props and hair accessories), I think some of that should be reflected in the rewards given back to the community.

Love it!!. I’ve been reading all these reviews and for some reason people think it’s money hungry? From my 5 years of playing Covet, I’ve probably only spent around 20 dollars, and it would be easy to not spend any real money at all on this game. Also people think the game is rigged. It is not, and I think people get jealous when they’re bad looks get voted lower. This game is amazing and I think it’s perfect for anyone into fashion. My only problem with the game is that when you first start playing it’s hard to level up fast to get cool hairstyles and makeup. You just have to keep on playing daily to level up. 5 stars though!

Playing since covet began. Ive been playing for years and I’ve been through the ups and downs but I’m about to delete the game and all my millions in closet because I’m sick of having to re authorise Facebook and it not working. So I had to re authorise fb and I did but someone was logged into Facebook on safari and it’s linked to that account now and won’t unlink. So I’ve gone from 400 friends to borrow off to none. I can’t afford to enter the challenges without friends and asking covet for help is near impossible. No one writes back or they just tell you to clear your cache which I have done. So unless someone gets back to me I can no longer use my covet app joined to someone else’s Facebook sigh

Expensive tastes. I’ve been a member for many years but became inactive for a few years and couldn’t link my old account despite having the same email address, so needed to start from scratch which has taken me approx 6-9 months and cash to even get back to the level I was previously at. The challenges can be impossible to meet with all the requirements expected sometimes with one borrowed item allowed and no ability to use all past season wardrobe. The open closet pass(which you need to purchase) only allows certain past items to be used without docking points from your overall score. Other annoyances are the amount of ‘fantasy’ or ‘childish’ styling challenges such as princesses, elves, mermaids, witches, cyborgs etc that aren’t in keeping with current fashion trends or season styles. The rally’s are a bit of a joke, rewards for amount of effort and the amount of players required to reach the targets are a bit unreasonable in my opinion. So many of the looks require finishing with ‘headwear accessories’ or ‘props’ that are not free and if you don’t use them the voters will penalise you in your final score, these options are used in almost every challenge so you can really get disadvantaged if you exclude them from your final presentation even if you have every other item required to meet the challenge.

Generally good. A few things could improve functionality of the game. Please please please(!!!!) add a free text search function in all the refine menus. Trying to find particular items in a huge wardrobe is ridiculous and would be so much less frustrating if I could type “overskirt” or “mask” etc in a free text search and all items owned and for sale with that word in the description would come up. It’s a good game overall. Expensive and hard to reach four stars in voting to win prizes without spending money for hair accessories, props, etc… but that’s also on the voters for being distracted by pretty hair pieces and props. Also mini-sets and 7 day challenges seem to be designed for most players to need to buy gems to win the prizes sometimes making the “free prizes” really expensive.

Only for those with money to burn. This can be a fun, relaxing and creative game to enjoy. However, lately I can’t play any of it and get anywhere because you have to continually buy credits for all the games inc and esp the daily one which I always liked to play, if you want to create a winning design. Reasons: 1. No one will vote for you if you don’t have to props, head gear and other extras. It’s like everyone seemed to forget when they didn’t have the money to burn on a non essential game. Snobs. So you get a low score. If everyone was in the same boat, things would be different. So poorer people lose. As usual. What’s the message here? 2. The game seems to have gotten greedy! All the extras mentioned in point one cost ridiculous amounts of money and I’m sorry but I got bills to pay. Lately there’s not been one game I can play to win and it not cost me anything. 3. I’m positive that when you use diamonds and cash the program simply robs you and takes extra. The amount of times I’ve thought, “yeah, I can afford this that and the other” from accumulated “points” it’s disappeared in a flash. Robbed. All about the money. Otherwise, yep, fun, relaxing and creative game.

Creators, please read. Look, I have played this game on and off for a few years and have loved watching it develop. It’s such a brilliant concept, allowing individuals to design their own depictions of certain life characters. However, I feel as though the props, sparkles and very festive settings have prevented voters from appreciating the finer fashioned details of an outfit, and rather vote on the most big and bold. Don’t get me wrong, I will not stop playing and I still love using this for my own fashion creativity, however when I vote for an outfit that is really structured well and it’s has little votes compared to the louder alternative, I feel disappointed for that person. Covet has a real opportunity to shape their societal users fashion intelligence. I just hope that influence is used to create more than a game. X

Thank you to developers!. Highly recommend this game. Other fashion games just shouldn't bother because they'll never compete with Covet. This game is really such good quality and you can play completely for free. I want to say thank you to the developers for not being overly greedy and keeping the game at its good quality while adding extras so they can still make money. Yes there is some flashback events you won't be able to enter but to complain about that is so nitpicky. You can play this game for years and get countless hours of enjoyment. OG players have the best hairstyles and if you can just be patient and enjoy the game you will build an amazing closet and unlock the hairstyles in time. Thank you Covet developers for providing me with so much entertainment and an escape from the world. Ignore the criticisms, you have built an amazing game and some people just have no patience or sense

An amazing game- but there’s a catch... I have been playing Covet for a year now, and while it’s a great game which allows players of all ages to explore their style- the ridiculously high prices of every single garment and accessory ruins the game for me. Only a minute few people are serious enough to waste their money on this game, and of course they win everything. If you are not prepared to spend money you’re in for a struggle. It takes months to move up even one level, and ages to unlock props. On the other hand, when you finally have enough money to meet the steeply priced requirements of the challenges, it really is enjoyable. I am also very happy that the creators of this game didn’t restrict players with the 5 use limit as is applied in Design Home. So overall a fun and innovative game which allows players to interact with others and develop their sense of fashion: but of course all for a price.

Walk away with your wallet intact. I have played this game for a couple of years now and really enjoyed it. That was until the challenges became ridiculously expensive and it became clear that all the developers care about is profit and greed. The prizes will never cover the money you need to enter challenges. Buy a $1200 dress to play, win a $200 t-shirt that’s unusable. To enter all the challenges to make playing worthwhile will cost you around $80 a week. Think of all the clothes you could buy IRL with that money!!! If you’re starting now you will never beat the top players with multi million dollar wardrobes. And don’t get me started on the relentlessly boring Etta challenges where every look has been virtually indistinguishable from the last. Walk away now. Don’t buy into this game.

Too many glitches. I like this game but I have never seen a game have so many glitches. Either the game just doesn’t load properly, the fashion house chat doesn’t work properly or my latest issue is that the app toggles you off of a rally when you didn’t want them to so then you miss out on prizes that would have helped you level up faster. As for the games customer service it’s non existent. This game is also associated with Tapjoy as a way to earn extra diamonds. Tapjoy have to be the worst company for customer service ever! Not only do they not pay you for completed offers they then send you emails threatening to ban you if you ask for help. So although I love the game concept itself I’ve begun to hate this app and feel like it’s time to move on. I refuse to spend anymore money.

Ashamed with covet. Covet fashion has been my favourite mobile game for years, over the years they have made some questionable and bad decisions but none as bad as this. When covet introduced their covet collection (2016~ ish?) they promised it would be seasonless, meaning you could use these items without penalty for the items being out of season. They said this to justify to the original collections expensive prices (one was $1000+ covet cash) however this was a lie and they made the items seasonal like all the other clothes. Players have asked for years for covet to make the items seasonless like they promised. Today covet announced they would, for a monthly subscription. THEY ARE MAKING US PAY $8 AUD a month, that’s $96 a year for something they promised us for free. I get they have to make money to run the app, but a still frustrating but way more reasonable alternative would have been to make it a one time purchase.

Fashion No More. For a game about fashion challenges I’ve been pretty disappointed in recent years with the briefs. I’ve been a player for 5 years and I feel like I’ve styled a million Steampunks and even more Queens or Princesses. There aren’t enough current fashion challenges. Way too many fantasy challenges or briefs asking to create a look from centuries ago! It’s fun to style a fairy or a knight every now and then but the fashion aspect has well and truly been lost in this game. The challenges that do offer the opportunity to style current trends are few and usually brand and season locked, so purchasing the required garments can be way too expensive and are only achievable if you spend real money or copious amounts of time earning rewards from sponsored offered. That being said it’s still a fun game, it could just be so much more fashion forward and creative than it is. Model diversity is great, graphics are great, glitches maybe once a day, some bugs that need working on, brands are great, concept great

Ads were added to game.. I LOVEEEEEE this game! A few days ago I noticed they added ads so the game quits and shows an advertisement. If they don’t remove them I’ll be deleting.

WORST GAME EVER. I love fashion games and I used to love this game but the prices are crazy expensive and you have to buy a lot of the outfits to do the challenges and sometimes you don’t win and you don’t get a lot of diamonds and money and what I think was really rude, Is that the game must’ve done a reset and I lost all the stuff I paid with diamonds and the money from the game and I did not get my money back.!!!!!! This game is a scam and I don’t recommend it!!!!!!”

Unfair advantage. The game is not fun anymore since they allowed people to buy the covet collection pass. If you can’t afford the pass it is an unfair advantage in almost every challenge to those who do buy it!

BEWARE!!!. Beware before you start playing this game. I’m a seasoned player (8 years) who has invested hundreds of dollars in this game cause it used to be worth it. I’m not one of those complaining that everything should be free, I understand that there’s a price to pay for certain features in apps. But the new developers, EA, has been dishonest and practicing very questionable tactics to have their people pay money for features that don’t even make sense. I mean in a deceptive way. And they have introduced gambling, they just don’t call it that way but that’s exactly what it is and for people with addiction problems, it’s simply dangerous. Everything is set to lure you into a trap. But the worst is that recently, they ripped off all the players of hard earned points (tickets) and decided not to fix the issue and didn’t replace them. They awarded a random «gift » or « reward » (they keep calling it that) that represent only a fraction of what was lost. That’s simply stealing goods from your own customers and not replacing them and pretending they did you a favor. If you want to see for yourself, look up Covet groups on FB. The community is so upset and with good reasons. I strongly suggest you DONT START PLAYING THIS GAME.

Search bar. U guys seriously need to get a search bar! This allows the player to type what they are specifically looking for. Constantly browsing through the whole collection with vague categories is way to much work. This game would be way less tedious if u just added this very simple function. For this reason I’m only rating it 3 stars. I’ll change my review when the search bar is added.

Please make changes!. I love this game but it is impossible to get ahead in the game unless you’re willing to spend hundreds on in-app purchases. Should be able to do well in challenges without having to buy ridiculously expensive pieces.

Very confusing and hard to play. Think I’ll be cancelling. Hard to earn dollars and gems

Prizes. Just a thought why are the 28 challenge streak prizes always jewelry..can we be awarded something else

U cannot enjoy the game without real money. This could have been a really cool and enjoyable game. Love the garments, challenges and actual voting, but unfortunately everything is way too expensive for the daily amout to earn. Besides the daily challenges, im order to enter challenges u need to spend around 1000$ and u only get 100-200$ back! It’s ridiculous! If I want to spent actual money, I would buy actual clothes! Such a shame! Please make ways to earn money in the game. The game has so much potential!

Changing the rules to win hair accessories!. So usually in this game, in order to win a hair accessory you have to enter five out of six challenges to get the accessory itself, with an additional offer of entering all six for a chance at bonus diamonds. Not this time! For the latest hair accessory, you had to enter all five challenges every single consecutive day, WHICH NOT ALL OF US CAN DO!!! There was also no chance of bonus diamonds offered at all! I am very disappointed with this sudden change in Covet's policy, hence the 1 star rating.

It’s fun but expensive. Once in a while I’ll purchase a hair accessory if it’s half price. But generally speaking, the game is so expensive. Diamonds are always in short supply. You can win hair accessories and theme accessories by entering a special series of design challenges, however you must enter them all to win the prize. It’s very difficult to enter them all, as some have required items that are too expensive. I do prefer this option, though, than spending my own $12 in cash to buy a hair accessory. All items that are “in season” should be cash. But some are diamonds. That sucks. Voting is fixed, somehow, I’m sure. Some kind of alga rhythm. And don’t get me started on the house challenges. You have to win all the pieces to a puzzle. But what happens is you win the same piece ten times, which gets the house nowhere. There’s so much more. Ok, looking back on this, why do I play? I guess I’m a glutton for punishment! It’s still fun, and at the same time, very frustrating. It does have the best graphics of any design game that I’ve tried playing.

What did you do?!. Now we have to pay every month to for the covet collection pass? Pretty much guaranteeing people who won’t spend extra money won’t get top looks. Not fair.

Love this game but... I love covet!! One complaint though is I wish it was easier to get game cash, it’s hard to get ahead when you can only purchase $500 dresses! And it’s so hard to get ahead, It takes one year before I get to the next level..

Fun. But to get anywhere you must spend $$$. In Order to do much you need diamonds. And you need to pay real money for them. While I like to support good games financially this game in-app purchases cost too much $$ for too little. Now I just open it daily to collect the few free daily diamonds and play it once a month when I have saved up enough to style a look.

Too expensive. Can’t earn diamonds and have to pay to play. Not worth it.

Crashes, Cash grabs and Contentious. I used to like this game until I started encountering basic issues that have yet to be resolved since I started playing. 1) The game constantly crashes, despite “fixes” and updates. This happens so often and yet the only compensation you get is an in-game prize or accessory with usually $100-200 or 100 diamonds. These prizes are often ugly, and unusable in most challenges. 2) The game uses a ton of cellular data, so be sure you’re data is turned off! 3) You can convert Cash to Diamonds but not Diamonds to Cash. I’ve personally messaged the Covet team by selecting their “contact us” option and was told that this was a great idea, thanks. That’s it. Nothing came of it; no follow up to this. 4) Voting to get tickets is arduous and quite frankly, a deterrent to playing the game altogether. The Covet Team need to come up with a better way for players to obtain tickets for challenge entry! 5) It’s a cash grab. You have to pay REAL money, through the nose, for a new hair accessory or prop pack! The ONLY way of getting a new hair accessory or prop pack is by using your own money, unless you happen to win one of the expensive-to-enter prop/accessory challenges (where you spend more in-game cash/diamonds than you can ever hope to win). Many challenges require an old prop or hair accessory in order for you to achieve a high voting result, but this is something newer players cannot do as they would’ve missed the old prop/accessory challenges. Thus, the only option to obtain these is to use your own money!

make lots of changes... I’ve had this game for years, when I was younger I seemed to enjoy it more as there was less restrictions with the money/diamonds back then. As now in order to actually enjoy playing the game you would have to buy extra money/diamonds in the game which is my personal pet peeve when it comes to these types of games. Over the past few days I’ve been in contact with the customer service chat as my $500 entry money has not reloaded when I enter a challenge; this has been going on for over 3 days with no solution. I don’t recommend this game unless they make many, and big changes.

It’s changed. I had been playing since 2013/2014. It was always quite fun! It’s still fun but more difficult to play without spending money. There are also some new features that I think are just unnecessary for the game.

They only care about your money. And customer support is the worst. They claim to not be working on weekends so if you have any problems that will negatively affect your gaming experience - good luck waiting for help. They will make you waste time sending automatic responses and no compensation whatsoever. The ads are extremely deceiving - the reward is far less than what you need to spend to enter the challenge, actually useful and nice looking garments are 3-5 daily allowances and their partner Tapjoy (the way to make extra currency through promo offers) may or may not pay off and will block you if you send one too many complaints demanding your payoff (with proof). They styles they show for level 10 on the add are a mashup for level 50 and up, you need to either invest a lot of money or a lot of time to reach competitive level (mid twenties).

Do not get it. You just lose money like this And you have to pay 💰 100$ every 2 weeks

Should give more. Definitely would be more fun if y’all have more diamonds and money everyday. I’m only able to do the 1 challenge a day so that’s getting pretty annoying.

Little Rip off. I love this game, my issue with it is in our fashion house the computer constantly give double, or triple or quadruple game pcs so you don’t have an opportunity to win properly even if your team is doing everything well. It’s not fair really especially when you are players who are buying diamonds and cash into the game. At level two of the rally the game should give you less duplicates. They should fix their algorithm of picking

Fun!!. Best fashion game out there.

Covet is GREEDY!!!. I have been playing COVET since 2015/16. I used to love this game up until recently. Covet developed an app unlike any other, attracting millions of people. Creating looks, earning prizes, competing against other looks, and the best part — levelling up! NOW covet has made it next to impossible to level up without having to pay with real money. Covet has become greedy and they continue to scam people! There are also a ton of glitches but it seems to be all part of their money making plans. Covet LIED to their users stating that the app could not connect to users Facebook (no other gaming app connected to Facebook had this issue). Facebook is a key component to levelling up in this game. Users were forced to stop playing because the game requirements were unattainable without it (it’s hard to explain but this is a marketing scam). This past year, Covet has ignored their users complaints like never before. This app has become nothing but a money grabber. A year ago, I would have given Covet a 5 star review! Unfortunately, I will be deleting this app if it continues. It is not longer fun.

Poor support. Customer support weren’t very helpful, its all scripted. They will just tell you to do the same thing and will never understand your concern. I love this game but sorry.👎🏽

Fix this awesome game please. I loved this game, played it all the time. Got new phone and it wont work on my 6s with ios 11.2 😔 Gets stuck partway through tutorial and crashes 😡😡😡😡

I’ve been playing on and off for 10 years. To be very honest with you this game is quite flawed and not so fun. The special currencies are way to expensive. 11 dollars for 2 props is completely unrealistic. Leveling up is so hard especially when you only receive around 500 dollars everyday and you need to gain 100,000 closer value EACH time before leveling up and unlocking new hairs and makeup. The way you folks situated the micro purchases is downright predatory. I wish the creators cared more about make a fun game than making a quick buck and networking with capitalistic and unethical fashion brands. This game sucks so bad. It’s so plain and the clothing itself is terribly ugly majority of the time. Even the “prizes” are insanely ugly. This entire game is a rip off. How is it after 10 years I’m still on level 18??? Not fun at all. Plus with the rate at which you are receiving crowns for limited edition hair, I’m never able to receive enough to buy the styles! Stop with the money grabs it’s extremely frustrating and irritating.

Good but so hard. The game is fun but it’s so hard to earn money and you lose a LOT and really hard to get to another level so can you guys PLEASE let us sell old clothes for the fake money it’s nice but right now I’m stuck so PLEASE make changes pls

Impossible. Its impossible to compete in this game unless you spend money......alot of money. One accessory pack costs 12.00 AND you cant use most of the accessories until you level up. I bought a pack and was shocked that I was restricted on what I could use based on my level. That should be made clear when purchasing.

Money Grab! $$$$$. Do Not Download!. You get free coins/diamonds in the beginning... once you’ve spent that on 2 outfits it’s impossible to earn more. You need new outfits to enter competitions but then you only win 100 bucks. One Outfit can cost 2000 or more, so unless your willing to spend lots of your own money on this it’s impossible to level up.

Love the game but... Love the game but diamonds are not affordable. They are waaaaay too expensive to buy. Honestly more people would prob spend real money on the game if it was more reasonably priced. Be competitive by being affordable!

Used to be good. Used to be good, now you have to see an ad every time you complete a look. Just like everything else now, annoying.

Sad. I really do love this game but.. It has glitches and problems that I’m beginning to feel are on purpose in order to get players to spend money to buy things like Facebook shutting down for a week almost so you can borrow even if you’re in a fashion house which is an too affected whether or not you couldn’t. Furthermore the prices for everything are beginning to go up and support is a truly awful experience it takes days or up to a week to answer and when they do you don’t get a back-and-forth conversation and it’s usually summarizing down to your fault even when it’s not.

Ntsb. It’s a really good Game and I really like it I keep on running money

Hard to make money. Most of the challenges you need to have certain items to meet the requirements but all of those items cost cash or diamonds which are both hard to get and I can only enter like max 2 challenges a day with out running out of money I know it’ll probably get easier to do when I’m leveled up more but in the meantime it’s not very motivating to play when I can only spend less than 30 minutes and then run out of things to do

could be better. this app used to genuinely be amazing then yall added ads and ruined it, i find myself playing the game way less than i used to. ur ea for gods sake, ur richer than rich, u’ll live if u make one of ur games good and not have ads. also maybe try listening to players? there r so many players requesting things and y’all never listen?? and if u feel like listening for once, pls let us wear pants w our sleeved swimsuits

Make a big change!. Love the game, but sometimes I feel like I stop playing because I can’t get ahead. It would be so nice to be able to go through your closet & sell pieces you’ve never worn, or old pieces from years ago for cash to buy new/up to date/ in style pieces like in real life. Have the $$ given be based on new/used. This way it gives people a chance to move forward in the game.

DONT GET THIS GAME!!. This game is a scam. Everything is so expensive. If you want to do good at all you have to spend real money, and not just a little bit. Developers are rip offs and grossly overprice everything. The whole game is designed to steal your money. They also do not care at all what the players want. They just want to rip you off. Stay away.

Ridiculous Scoring. I’ve been playing since 2013. It’s been more than discouraging to receive lower and lower scores despite buying new items for ‘looks’ hoping to win Top Looks. What keeps me playing is my enjoyment of the premise…I’m requesting an easy fix…or I’m out.

Done playing. Would be good to get an editor to read through the stories and the backdrops. The contest for writers produced far better stories than the often demeaning stories produced by staff. The latest about a kettle whistling because the woman is so beautiful might have been intended as a joke but certainly doesn’t come across that way. The challenges that celebrate women’s achievements, mythical characters, same sex relationships, outfits for work, weddings etc are all great. The ones that like the kettle one are degrading Time to start respecting woman and showing how fashion isn’t about pleasing others but yourself. Too much objectifying women in many of the stories. For that I am done playing.

Spin the model. It would be better if we could spin the model around to see the outfit from all angles, etc.

Great but Awful. It used to be hard but in the past couple years it’s become impossible to even do those ‘free’ challenges. Unless you have money and pay them, you can barely play anymore. It’s disappointing. And frankly, a shame.

Frustrating. Facebook link doesn’t work….again!!! Lost everything!!!! Frustrating cause I put money into that game!!! Now I lost everything!!!

Update glitch. I love this app but every time there is an update I have issues loading the app on my iPad. Usually bugs get fixed within a couple of hours but today it's still not fixed. I am in the middle of a rally and cannot do anything about it😡

COVET <3. I LOVE COVET!! The 2 reasons I gave 4 stars were everything is so expensive and jet set is hard to do. Other than that, DOWNLOAD IT ITS MY FAVORITE APP!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Has turned into a money grab. Not a big fan of this game anymore. I’ve been playing for years and no longer enjoy it. Everything cost extra and you need to get a monthly pass in order to use all the clothes without getting penalized in points. Over it.

Meh. It’s a cool game but if you don’t plan on sinking your own money into it you’re not gonna get very far or win very many challenges. Most of the challenges with the exception of the daily need you to have specific items and if you don’t have enough money then you can’t play. Also a good majority of the challenges now are based around buying specific headpieces or props. Based on the game itself, it’s worth four or five stars but now that you can’t get ahead without putting your own money into it I’m giving it a three. Also it takes too long to get to the different levels so it’s easy to lose interest now.

Do not play. I’ve been playing this game since 2018. Since EA bought it, it’s gone down hill quick. The constant glitches and $ grabs. It’s not fun to play anymore. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Money grab. You can earn 500$ a day but most of the items are in gems which to have to pay real money for or play every day for 100 gems which doesn’t buy even a hat. If you want to wait ten days and collect the gems then maybe you can enter 2 contests. The contest cost 1000s of dollars to enter and you get 1-200 back. Voting is unfair. A level 3 is often paired up with a level 83 so it’s impossible to score a 5 or higher, and the prizes you get are hideous clothing that won’t score you points if you use them. The jet set is so high to level up you basically need perfect scores to continue. Even if you decide to spend money on this game you need to spend 30$ at a time and even then it’s not enough to enter some of the contests. It’s not even fun to play

Is it my favourite app. I love it, from Eunice DIZON

Agitating.... Covet Fashion is a wonderful and fun game. However, sometimes I choose one thing, and then when I add another thing, it takes the first item off. For example, I entered a challenge where it had requirements. That’s fine and all, but I clicked to add green pants, and when I wanted to add leather boots, the green pants were taken off. I don’t know if this is normal or not. It really irritates me, because it does this for all the challenges that have requirements. I need a better understanding on what I need to put if this is a normal occurrence. I would go to style one thing, but it wouldn’t allow me to add one clothing item. Then, the next day, I would see someone with the exact same outfit that I tried to make the other day... I don’t want it to keep doing that. It’s very agitating, resulting me to not do many challenges with the required clothes or accessories. I always look forward to styling a look, but when almost all of them have requirements, I lose excitement. On another note, I watched several ads for diamonds, but received none. This has happened multiple times before to me, but I let it slide since I got doubled the amount most times after. This time, I went through ya least 5 ads—50 diamonds—But was left with the same amount I started off with. Thank you for wasting my time on that.

Love the game minus the unfair down voting and cost. This game would be perfect if A). They could find ways to help you earn diamonds outside of spending real cash... otherwise you may as well not play because it’s the only way you can earn top prizes AND B). The voting has to change. Many lower level players will down vote a higher level players look because they think it will boost their chances at a higher score. C) Stop trying to make players purchase an $8.99 hair accessory ... by the time you add up the cost for all of those accessories you could have bought yourself a very nice something. D) stop forcing players to spend real cash on items in order to do the challenges... covet should earn enough money to pay their employees and keep the game updated and going from the advertising that they allow from actual designers who get purchases from real players. E) allow players to borrow multiple item from more then one friend per challenge. Other than that... the game and concept is great... not going to lie though... if another game came up that addressed all of these issues I would certainly consider a change... it’s like FB vs My Space... one company could “move the cheese” and the other could not. The one that could not eventually went away...

Too Expensive. I have tried hard to enjoy this game for a couple of months. The clothing options are great and the models beautiful. However, while I understand that game developers build in ways to generate revenue, this game is just too restrictive. (1) There is only one way per day to earn $500. This will typically buy one or two items for the closet - not jewelry tho. (2) The clothing is WAY expensive in comparison to the payout on entries. All other challenges have so many requirements that the items simply cannot be bought. (3) The challenges are so far outside the real world (Fairy Queens, Gladiators, Evil Witches, Super Heroes, etc.) that you must TRY to buy things like masks, crowns, or scepters instead of using your very limited resources on real fashion items. (4) Diamonds. The payouts are extremely low. I've actually gotten a 5.0 score even though I'm a newbie... 125 diamonds? Really? (5) Almost ALL items from previous months require diamonds to purchase them yet there is virtually no way to earn them by playing. Almost ALL jewelry requires diamonds too. (6) I have even purchased diamonds once and even in this context, the prices are too high for the number of diamonds you get when compared with most any other game of this type (such as Design Home game, for example). I give. You've built an "unplayable" game.

Disappointing. This game is very fun. It gives you access to an infinite amount of clothing pieces and fun situations to style these pieces in. The outfits you create are then judged against one another by other players. This system is should in theory allow players to vote on the best outfit in an unbiased manner. It is inherently flawed though as it implements pay to win elements that ruin the game for any casual player. Regardless of your level you are randomly matched with another player to be compared to. Levels span from 1 to 100 and are awarded based on the number of clothing pieces in your closet, so the higher level players always have the advantage. High levels take insane amounts of money to achieve which is impossible for any average player. This forces a pay-to -win model where any casual player has no chance of earning a good score in the challenges. Because of this model I have only played the game on and off over the last few years. It’s fun to play with the game for a month, but I stop playing it again once I remember this poor model. It has only gotten worse over the years as now special accessories and props are only available through real-life currency. I have no problem with games (especially free ones) charging for added features but this crushes any chance for casual or new players to enjoy the game.

Trick To Steal Your Money. This app is basically a trick to make you spend your real money! This app has the potential to be a good game, but it just isn’t. To enter challenges you need to buy clothes with diamonds or covet cash. To get covet cash and diamonds you need to enter challenges. You can buy diamonds, you just have to spend your real money. Also you can sometimes watch adds for diamonds, but then you never get the diamonds! Every time you upgrade it, you loose you closet, so you have to buy more clothes because now you don’t have any. You can save your closet, but you have to log into facebook. I’m to young to have a facebook account. The requirements for some challenges are crazy! You almost never have the items they want in your closet because they are so specific, so you have to spend lots of diamonds or covet cash to get them and you can’t enter the challenge unless you get them. Requiring you to spend more real money. Because of all these problems you get stuck in a void and the only way to get out is to spend your real money, which I refuse to do. So I never play any more because of all these problems which I know are fixable! Again, this has the potential to be an amazing game. But right now it is just a trick to make you spend more money!

They want your money - not your creativity. I’ve been playing this game on and off for a decade. If it weren’t for the fact that this is literally the only fashion game made for adults on the App Store I would’ve stopped playing ages ago. It’s almost impossible to rank because the Top 20 is dominated in every challenge by these coordinated looks from Facebook groups that decide the “It Look”. You have to spend real money to get these looks. Despite seeing variety and creativity while voting, those looks will never rank. The game devs don’t care. People complained about racism years ago and they still keep churning out stereotyped makeups and challenges. I’ve suggested many times that they should add male models, even just in some challenges or a separate game. I know I’m in the minority as a male player, but that’s not reflective of the irl fashion world at all. I like fashion and find this to be a fun creative outlet, but it’s disappointing. Design Home is basically the same game but for interior design. They have some of the best structure, challenges, and in-game currency rules of any creative game. Most importantly, they listen to feedback and are generous enough to keep players coming back. I don’t know why Covet can’t model themselves similarly.

Why I think Covet is the best time passing game. I’ve had covet since 2015 and I have to say that the best word to describe the game is addicting. Like others I agree that the prices on hair accessories is a big high but once you get into the game and are able to work into the higher levels everything becomes much easier. The start is always slow before you begin to build up your closet value and can use old clothing items to save money. Eventually trends become a thing you know like the back of your hand and you can pick out which items you’d like to use. A few tips 1- do the runway rallies (you earn so many prizes if you’re in a good fashion house) 2-connect your Facebook and add friends (there are inspiration groups that give you ideas for every challenge, simply add people as friends who are in those groups) 3- use tapjoy (every now and then you might not have the money to buy a certain item... use the free diamonds and watch ads) 4- keep working at it, giving up and trying to restart will only put you further behind. I’m level 48 now and have only missed about 10 daily challenges in my Covet career, doesn’t hurt to take 2 mins out of your day to enter

Diversity Trends / Voting. I started playing this game recently having not been active for awhile. And I was happy to see the new pride and BLM items. I liked the previous updates of the models and skin tones. But what I don’t really understand is why the Tokyo and Bollywood Jet Set challenges needed to go. There are Indians and a South Asians that play this game and it’s rare to see anything that includes us. It’s why I was really happy when I saw the Bollywood challenge. But now that it’s gone it’s making me really upset since Covet became like everything else, it focuses on the diversity trends and doesn’t really care about the players. It’s why when I style using the hijab accessory my scores are 3 or lower. I’d love to see more stuff focusing on South Asian and even Middle Eastern stuff because neither of those groups are represented very often in any media. I do really like this game I just hope that I can see myself more. I also want the scoring to be based less on the hair and makeup and maybe even props. All of these things you either have to pay for or play for a long time to get. The higher level players always get the perfect scores sand I don’t really think that’s fair. Similar levels should get paired together in voting. Obviously the highest levels will win otherwise and it becomes a lot less about fashion.

Overall fun game. I’ve been playing for a long time now. Overall, it’s a fun game. They’ve tried to continually improve it and make better challenges. On the games side, it has a few issues. Some of the most fun challenges are “flashbacks,” which typically cost $0.99 to complete (unless you have a ton of diamonds) and have the highest rewards for the challenge. So really, to level up quickly or make trendsetter, you have to spend some money. I try to keep to a certain amount per week or month—you easily could nickel and dime yourself to death. On the players side, which isn’t the fault of the game creators but still annoying, the voters can be racist AF. Darker skinned models almost always get lower votes, as does models with short hair. As a social experiment, it really shows that voters consider European, traditionally feminine looks as the most “beautiful.” It does feel like it takes forever to level up, but it’s always fun when you do with new hair and makeup. I really keeps you playing for the new designs to play with on each level. It absolutely can be done without paying a penny, just takes longer. Like I said, not a perfect game and definitely opportunistic in getting your money, but still fun.

Too expensive for what you get. I play games where you “have to” pay some money every once in a while to win the competitions, get extra stuff etc...Doesn’t make me happy but at least in those games it’s rewarding enough to do so. This is another disappointment. I even was prudent with the amount of currency they give you starting out- and after the initial “unlocking” challenges most of that was gone due to the specific demands of the challenges. I figured I would wait to see if winning challenges (which I did) and doing the daily ones would catch me up- but NO! For example- I have won five challenges out of the six or so I played. But can’t use most of those rewards to play yet. I can’t complete a new challenge because there is no way to replenish currency without spending real money. And the minimum appears to be $5- from what I’ve seen that won’t even get you far for long. You can’t see how a complete outfit looks without buying everything which is bogus when it costs real money. Maybe if you have a friend(s) that also play that you can borrow from...then it would be OK maybe. I don’t get why people would spend so much on this when you can buy real things (clothes jewelry etc) in the real world for the same amount of money. You could save up and contribute to rent actual couture for yourself if anything. Ridiculous.

Love Covet, but..... I absolutely adore this game and it’s cooperative properties — I’ve “met” ladies from all over the world being the Head of a House, but lately it seems many have had trouble with the game in some way. Very buggy at times. I’ve been waiting for a reply from support for a week tomorrow but the problem has been happening for much longer. I tried to fix it on my own, but no such luck. It’s been frustrating as I haven’t been able to borrow from my 3,000+ Covet friends on Facebook. The whole reason I got a new Facebook ONLY for Covet (and Design Home, another game by the same company) is so I could borrow from a vast field of players and not worry about flooding my personal account.......but it has been giving me issues and keeps connecting to my old account even though I deactivated it in order to try to disconnect it!!!! SO VERY FRUSTRATING. So, other than support being unresponsive, the chat is really annoying to me. Very hard to communicate with your house/team if your words are limited. Also you can’t private message anyone either....would be nice if you could do you could warn house members if they are in danger of being dismissed from the house. There are other things that bug me about this game, but I can overlook them because I love the game SO much!

Big Spender, Low Scores!. I’ve spent a ton of money on this game only to get low scores on outfits I spent a fortune on and then they look exactly like all the top looks and I scored low anyway or my outfit will look a lot better than those scoring the top looks. I also refuse to join a “fashion house” so people that spend barely any money get to use my clothes I spend a fortune on and then when I borrow something from someone who actually has a decent wardrobe-I get kicked out of the “fashion house”. This is quite a jaded concept in my opinion. I do love this game but it is awfully unfair to those of us who spend a significant amount of money and do not reap any rewards. Very disappointing to this front line nurse who uses this game as a form of escape from the sad sad reality of all of the extreme sickness and suffering and death and dying that covid has put in front of the medical professionals caring for those patients others seem to find it convenient to forget about. Oh but by all means, take away the mask mandate…say all is safe now…oh but wait now you have taken it back but it’s too late because the whole world thinks it’s safe and won’t mask….and the covid numbers just keep rising again…guess I won’t be able to hug my family or score any good points on my favorite app Covet Fashion either. Back to the covid grind.

Cuquitas para Adultos. My husband makes fun of me because he says I spend hours playing the electronic version of paper dolls. I have been playing CF for 6 years now. I love dressing the dolls to my own style which usually doesn’t give me great scores since it’s not a clone which are the ones that usually get the TLs. When I started there was a lot of variety in the Top Looks but now they’re usually boring look a likes. There are too many challenges for ballgowns. At times, the story with the challenge sets the theme for something but then there isn’t a garment to go with it, like one time they talked about a belt and none were included in the challenge or available for purchase. Prohibit ball gowns when they aren’t appropriate for the challenge e.g. a cocktail or travel look where the TL are gowns or adding a purse in the kitchen, hiking, or on stage!!!!! PROHIBIT CLONING!!!! Take points off when cloning is detected. Limit the use of props PLEASE, we now see them everywhere even when not appropriate, wings on every challenge whether it fits the story or not. Finally, lower the prices on Covet Designs. I understand the designer clothing has to reflect real life, but CF items are app creator ideas and are becoming increasingly unaffordable, only for the habitual TL winners with plenty of diamonds to spare......

To much$$ , for to little.. I am a big fan of your other game, design home. I spend a lil money on it each week, (what I can afford). I’ve played it for over a year now. I decided to try the covet fashion. Thought it was really good, just like design home...till I bought my first item. And discovered you only get to use it once!!! /: the diamonds are overly priced for so little you do get. Literally five dollars won’t even get you a full outfit. ( that you can only wear or use one time) I cannot say it enough how disappointed I am that you have to spend soooo much for one item. One use. Not many people can afford to put money into a game. More people would play and spend more money if they got at lest 3-5 uses off one item. ( like in design home). I will continue to play design home. But covet fashion is going to be one of those things I will not put any more money into and only play with what I can do in the daily’s. Hair pieces or different hair styles are 9.99!!!! Crazy!! All the fashion houses are mostly full, and what’s annoying is that the ones that win or get highest scores are the outrageous evening gowns, that cost 1,000+ ( just for the dress, doesn’t include the shoes jewelry or purses). Which in real money for the game is gonna cost you about 5$ for each and every challenge. For only one challenge a day, that’s 35$ a week you gotta spend on this app!!! Fix this please!!!! Till you do, I will NOT spend any more $$$$$

...for the rich and luxurious. Game is fun to play when you can hold a good amount of diamonds and cash. If Crowdstar were able to match the earnings a little more with the price of items to avoid the player from having to stop and leave the most fun and creative part of the game to earn game money, it would be worth the 5 star rating. An addition to the 100 daily earnings for returning should be implemented somewhere. Possibly take away the tickets for entry and use them solely for voting boosts, and increase the amount of cash through the voting system? I’m spending more time all day scavenging for tiny earnings than playing the actual game. I want to dress my model without having to leave the game for every piece of clothing I need to buy just to stay in the game. There’s no way to relax and enjoy the game with having to stop, leave the game and search through 50 surveys to maybe, if you’re lucky, find one that pays for a shirt. If I lived in luxury, I’d never be able to shop for the actual clothes you can buy from this game because I’d spend all my money just to buy diamonds and cash in order to avoid the struggle. Most times if I’m getting earnings outside a game, there’s too many distractions that take away my focus or return back to the game all together. So I end up playing a different game where earnings keep me playing the game for as long as I’d like.

Love the game but Have some suggestions.... I absolutely adore this game. However, I wish that some of the make up could be altered in someway. Sometimes I love the eyeshadow but not the eyecolor. Or I love the lipstick but not the eyeshadow and so on. I also sometimes wish I could use any hair accessory with any hairstyle I have earned by leveling up. I feel it is unfair since you have to pay for hair accessories to not be able to use the accessory you want with the hairstyle you want. Furthermore, I also wish you could change the color of a particular dress, skirt, etc. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I wish you could do more editing to your designs and be able to wear anything you want without it taking something away. For example if I want to wear a T-shirt over the top of a dress I think I should be able to. It’s my design and since you have to pay for diamonds and cash and hair accessories and all those things just to participate, I think there should be a little more freedom within the game. I hope this feedback helps and I hope the designers take my thoughts and suggestions seriously and possibly re-program the game at least some of these things. Sincerely, LibbeyBelle

Long-Time Player. I’ve been playing Covet since 2013. I am level 39 only because I took a break and didn’t play for about 2 years and before I picked it up again, I was not a serious player. I can’t speak on how easy it is to learn the game because all the features it has now were slowly introduced over the years, so I learned everything as it came out. I enter every challenge, and I am in a fashion house and we rally on Fierce. I level up probably every other week playing this way. I also spend probably about $30 a month of my real money on Covet- which is not necessary to play but I like purchasing hair accessories and diamonds through TapJoy. To any newcomers, please make sure to join Covet Facebook groups for inspiration on how to dress your doll for a certain challenge and add other Covet players on Facebook so you’re able to borrow garments from them!! It’ll make a worlds difference in how you play. I know it gets frustrating sometimes, just stick it out! The more you level up, the game seems more fair and easy to play and win garments. Will forever love this app and will continue to be a daily player ❤️❤️

Fun, addictive,. This is an adult modernist version of paper dolls. The challenges have great themes, something for everyone’s taste. This game is addictive and is expensive to play. If you want to get high scores you must spend money. There are hair accessories that are absolutely necessary to use. The only way to get them is to purchase an $8.99 credit. Not all the accessories you just purchased are immediately available, you have to be a certain level to use certain makeup, hair styles, and hair accessories. Judging is done by players, and is not always fair as not everyone has access to everything. A level 40 player judged against a level 15 player has only a tiny chance of a 5 star rating, and stars are what we all try to win, and stars are the only Way to earn the diamonds that are one currency to trade for things. You can also buy them, and that is expensive. It’s easy to loose track of how much money is spent. So, great fun, interesting as well as costly, frustrating and time consuming. I love the fantasy and mythological challenges, and the past era designs too. It’s an excellent palette to create historical and high fantasy style. Wish it was my real closet!

Suggestion. I really would like to for the creators to read the but it’s not likely but I hope it will get your attention. The game has a really great choices for clothing but they are kinda pricey, so my suggestion is for that is win you enter a fashion challenge make it stela’s 200 and keep 500 for the daily challenge. The runway challenges for me are really hard I always get so confused with them but the challenge part I don’t understand what to beat. And I would really like you guys to add a piece of clothing ballet shoes and ice skating shoes the reason I want to had that is because a lot of the challenges have relation to Ice skating or ballerina. Not to long ago I remember I did several ballerina challengers and they were called, a taste of winter, a road to wonderland, dance of the swans, and the magic inside. And I was devastated I couldn’t find any pure ballerina shoes same thing happened with the ice skates. And you should add poses for the decoration. So if she’s ice skating I choose iceskating pose etc etc... so ya that’s it. Anyway besides that this game is the best game I’ve ever played if I was able to give it four and a half stars I would but it would not let me so I put four stars. From... your favorite covet good-critic

Fun and Imaginative but Flawed in Several Areas. NEW REVIEW: I still really enjoy this game and although there has been no change to the voting where a Level 30 player goes up against a Level 101 player maybe that will eventually change. However, I have been playing this game for a couple years now and the diamond redemption through Offerwall has become extremely flawed; I complete orders accurately according to the requirements but I rarely receive my diamonds unless I open a Help Ticket. And this happens often. This needs to be looked into immediately! OLD REVIEW: I really enjoy this game as a way to pass time. I love the challenges in general but my favorite ones are the themed and magical ones; so much fun!! My only concern or suggestion is when competing we should be put up against other players in the same or very close levels; I don’t think it’s fair or accurate to place a Level 5 player against a Level 60 player for voting. The higher you get in this game the more hairstyles, makeup selections, etc… you are awarded so a Level 60 player has a better arsenal of items than a Level 5 player. Competing/voting should be kept to levels within 3-5 ranks of each other in my opinion.

Lost and found. I just want to give a big shout out to the guy named Jason who helped me with my account. I had played this game some time ago and then stopped playing it and somehow my accounts got mixed up when I started a new account and playing again. This guy is the only one who took the time to figure it out and go to all the trouble of fixing it, he kept the tickets open till I replied and was so nice and helpful. I so appreciate his kindness and help. I had worked very hard to get to the level I was at and it is hard when you don’t have the money to purchase stuff like other. So on a different note that is the downfall to this game, most ppl that have money do better bcuz they can afford the packages and so forth. I love this game but you have to sit there and earn your diamonds watching videos over and over in order to buy the clothes that are required to do a challenge. Then, most of the top looks are all the same. When I vote I usually can tell who is on a higher level and I have seen so many times level 3 against a level 81 or a level 5 against a level 47?? That isn’t really fair considering the higher level is going to win. If they would make it a lil more fair I’d never stop playing this game but other than that the game doesn’t have any defects and is fun playing.

Love it but.... This is the first time I have written a rework, but I feel like I should. I love Covet because of its many options to pick from. Unlike other games Covet gives you what seems like hundreds of things to choose from in each category. Also unlike other games it doesn’t give you five dress options to choose from and make you pay real money to access the rest. The animation is also amazing! The only problems I have are that it is hard to get cash and diamonds back. When you enter a challenge you get a 100 dollar prize just for entering it which is nice, but then you end up spending 1000 dollars or more with no way to regain the money. You do however receive diamonds along with a little bit of cash at semi regular intervals. The other problem I have with the game is how long you have to wait to get the results back on the challenges you entered. I know that it takes time to get all the votes, but if there were any way to get the results sooner that would be awesome! You also can’t get any diamonds until you get the results. If you could give us more diamonds that 25 when we reach 4 stars that would also be fantastic and amazingly helpful! I really do appreciate how they give you free (good) thing when you reach a new level.

So addictive. I got this app because it reminded me of modern day paper dolls! I’m having so much fun creating looks, I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so hard to earn diamonds and covet cash. The clothing is expensive so the money doesn’t last long. You can watch a certain amount of ads per day to earn diamonds for buying clothes, and accessories but they don’t go far as you need to stay “in season” for a higher score. I think the clothes should be cheaper so we can create looks easier. I easily spent over $1,500 covet cash for one outfit and it didn’t score high because the voting system has users that are level 79 vs user at level 3. I think the voting should be at the same level to keep it fair. I know it’s about creating a specific look but for the users at the beginning it’s not as easy. The app is also great because they gift you diamonds at a certain time of day and once you reach level 3 you can join a Team House and get advice from your team and every 24 hours you can borrow an item from a user in your Team House. All together I love the app just wish certain aspects were a little easier ♥️ I will play for a long time as it’s relaxing and I’m not even a fashion girl!!

Decreased in Fun. I used to play this game all of the time and it was a lot of fun but coming back to it a few years later on and off, I’ve noticed it’s decreased in its value. The voting system is terrible, some players are super advanced and will be put up against new players. The only people winning the challenges are those that spend a lot of money buying hairs and diamonds and the most expensive clothing. Not only this but even if you don’t care about winning, you still aren’t able to have fun because you can only enter a few challenges before going broke, and the only way you can gain more money or diamonds is by subscribing to things or watching ads or spending money, so it gets really boring really fast. The daily bonuses they give are never even enough to cover even 3 challenges. In my ideal game, I could enter a larger amount of events and have fun creating outfits to fit the themes, not having to worry about how so many other players are going to beat everyone because they have the most expensive things. I suggest that they choose the highest winners based on level, and not overall. In voting players should only be put against those in the same level, and once they level up, they change their group.

Can’t Link The Correct Facebook Account. I’ve had a Covet Fashion account for many years. I spent quite a bit of time and money on this account and thoroughly enjoy the game. However, recently I got a new phone and reinstalled the game. I was able to log in to the account that I had spent so much time on. In the last week I’ve gotten an error message regarding the “borrow” option in the game in which it tells me to log in to my Facebook account and link the two. But they had been linked the entire time. So it tells me to log out and log back in with my Facebook account. When I try, even when I try with three different emails, it logs me into an account with a different Facebook account I have or forces me to start a new Covet account. Basically, I have two Facebook accounts- one under “Michelle Beasley” and one under “Michelle Lachrymose” but no matter what I do it logs me into the “Beasley” account. But when I try to link my Facebook through the Covet app, it acknowledges that I have linked the “Lachrymose” account but will not let me log into it. When I log into Facebook to my main account- “Lachrymose”- I use my phone number instead of an email. I’m not sure if that makes a difference, but I am not able to log back into Covet to the account I want. Please help.

Game is going downhill. If you currently do not play this game I’m warning you not to play this game. Since the company EA has taken over the game has done nothing but go down hill. The cost is going through the roof. Now I’m not just talking about the clothing prices skyrocketing but the amount you spend to max out bonus. There have been more system issues in the last 6 weeks than we’ve had in the last 2 years. Every time you open a systems issue ticket they tell you to do the same things to fix it when in actuality it is a systems issue. By doing this they are trying to make you think that only you are having this issue. When there are systems issues they request that you prove it. One of the issues has been going on for a week now. We are not getting any updates from the developers that they are aware of the issues and are working on them. I have spent over 10,000$ since joining (that is not a typo on the amount) because the game is addictive. If you decide to play the game do not join a team because you will worry about letting the team down if you don’t want to spend real $$$. The challenges rarely have you use the items you win and if they do compensate you for your (patience) during the outage, the clothing they compensate you with are horrendous. Again if you are thinking about joining the game DON’T!!!

Fun but expensive. I’ve been playing for years and enjoyed the “dress up doll” feeling. It was simple, a great way to escape, and let’s be honest, I can never afford these clothes in real life so it’s cool to see them. However I hate how it’s gotten so expensive lately. It seems like every few weeks there is a new “Covet pack” of clothes to buy if you want to stay in and level up. The reward for daily challenges doesn’t cover the cost of the clothes, specially if it’s a challenge involving the “Covet Brand” of clothing (think costumes) which you have to purchase if you even want to stand a chance at getting 4 stars. And speaking of the stars/voting system: you can’t get higher than 4 stars if you don’t spend $$ (real or in game) on props, hair accessories, clothes, jewelry and shoes. And they all better be “unworn” and from “this season” so you can get the bonus to hopefully get that 4 star. Speaking of hair accessories, I appreciate that they’ve made it easier to get them, but I think it’s stupid you only earn 1 per hairstyle at a time. Once I earn that 1, it should be like the others: I can wear it with any hairstyle and then just rotate what that prop is. Overall I’ll still play, but I am increasingly getting annoyed now that EA has bought them out.

Chat Connection Error. Let me first say that Covet Fashion is a great game and the only game that I’ve been consistent with for this long. Been a player for 3 years and even spent money on this game, but something’s wrong with my account apparently b/c I haven’t been able to access the fashion house chat for the past 4 months and nobody else seems to have this problem according to Google. It happened out of the blue one day and I got this message, “There was a problem connecting to the chat servers, please try again later.” I’ve contacted Covet support at least 3 times about this chat connection problem before giving up b/c they suggested the same solutions every time. I’ve tried it all: restarted the game, cleared cache, deleted and reinstalled the app, checked my connection (which is fine btw, otherwise how am I able to even play the game which requires a connection to play and enter challenges), soft reset my phone, etc... My last resort was to leave the FH and rejoin, which I did, still can’t access the chat AND I lost my FH Officer status. This is a long review and some may say who cares, but a major part of enjoying this game is being able to share your looks with other players and getting a reaction and I can’t do that anymore. I know there’s not a problem from my end b/c I’ve tried everything and apparently not from Covet’s end either b/c they don’t know how to help me, so I give up.

Awesome game but.... So I LOVE this game. Its amazing for all the reasons girls love to shop and dress up. I even get the voting thing although recently it seems as though people are voting purposely based on what your level is which isn’t fair- like some of the craziest weirdest looks get high scores because they’re low level players. Still love it. However, I love this game, but in the past year the dresses and other clothing have almost quadrupled in price and you have essentially no chance of winning some of these challenge without the $4000 dress that they created the challenge for. I’ve been playing since 2014, with a two year break, but the amount of money you earn doing challenges has not increased a bit, and it’s basically impossible to play without spending real money, which I get it, fine, but at least close the gap a little. Increase the daily challenge to $750, $200 to $300 and $100 to $150. It costs about $900 for most of the $200 challenges. It’s gotten way worse in the past 2 months. Also I spent $10 real dollars on diamonds and never got credit. It’s been a week and they haven’t responded to my inquiry. Thanks!

Good game, but needs improvements. I can honestly say that I love Covet- it’s a fun and addicting game, and I play it pretty much every day. However, it’s hard to play if you’re new to the game. If you’re somewhere below level 20-30, you don’t have the advantages of people who started playing the game before you. The earlier you started playing the game, the more hair accessories you’re likely to have, as you could’ve entered a few challenges to win the hair accessory. If you started later, after many of the more popular (and usable) hair accessories came out, if you want an older hair accessory you have to pay $9, which is pretty unreasonable. There are other issues with starting the game later than others. It’s harder to find/join fashion houses, which are important to gameplay, especially during events, as the current fashion houses with active members are highly selective, and not as likely to allow someone with a lower score to join. Overall, Covet is a good game that I have recommended to friends. It just needs some fixes, to even out the playing field a bit more between older and newer players, as at the moment there’s no real way for a person who just recently started the game to catch up with someone 50 levels ahead of them, which makes it feel levelling up feel useless, as others will always be way ahead of you.

Don’t purchase anything. There is no loyalty to long time players.. Cover recently added a subscription option to basically make Covet a pay-to-play scheme. Covet brand items which were purchased throughout the life of the game can now be leveraged to an unfair advantage to those who pay for the subscription- despite the fact many people have paid for these items that were initially supposed to function this way WITHOUT a subscription. This means for “locked” challenges subscription paying players can use items that are out of season and therefore unavailable for other players. Its impossible to get a Top Look for many challenges without the subscription now, even if you boost your score to the max. I’ve used real money to buy items in this game before, but $5/month to basically cheat makes all the money I spent completely moot. Essentially, they changed the rules of the game and made it harder to ever reach top level. This is all on top of a glitch that gave players the chance to get tons of free inventory, and they allowed those players to keep those items and never offered those who didn’t take advantage anything. Also, each season The 5.0 prizes are getting cheaper and cheaper (lower value items), so you spend more in game cash with less rewards. This game used to be fun but they are milking us for money each and every turn and sucking the all the fun right out of it.

Customer Service STINKS. I created a Fashion House and, while promoting members to House Officer, I accidentally promoted one to House Leader and gave away my Fashion House!! There wasn’t any warning saying that was about to happen, just bam! I no longer run MY Fashion House. I’m just a House Officer. The person who is now House Leader isn’t responding to any messages in chat and I’ve had to open TWO help desk tickets trying to resolve this issue. The first ticket was closed by CS. They sent me 1,000 diamonds and basically said, “Sorry for the delay but we’re in over our heads and are just passing out diamonds and closing tickets to clear our queue. If you still need assistance, please submit another ticket.” So, I did. And that’s not an easy process either. It’s been over a month and they haven’t done a thing. I know I’m not the first person to do this, since it doesn’t give you any warning, so there’s obviously a known fix. Just a few keystrokes and, easy peasy, one more first level ticket closed. I can’t believe such an issue would require escalation above first level but, they haven’t responded so, who knows? I want my Fashion House back darn it!! It’s your fault I gave it away and you need to do something about it. Fix my issue and put a stop in place so that heads of houses can’t give away their positions without any warning. Since my tickets aren’t being resolved, maybe a one star review will get you to do something!

Such a Scam. Update: the game has continued to decline. The massive glitches and greed have destroyed what was once my favorite game. It’s ironic that when the “season” changes in the game there is a massive issue and a main feature is not usable. This causes people to have to spend a lot of actual money to enter the challenges. This is the second season in a row that it’s happened. That’s a heck of a coincidence. I’ll just skip the challenges and play my other games; you won’t get my money anymore. This used to be my favorite game. I spent a good deal of money on it, but I am playing much less now. They just had a massive issue with the game, which caused people to spend a LOT of their in-game cash and diamonds. They gave us prop credits to make up for it, but for those of us that have played and been loyal since before props were introduced, it was a slap in the face. We had all the props. Then today they released a new Mystery Prop box. Total scam and waste of money. It was almost $20 to open it and most people got props that was utterly useless. A diploma in October? C’mon. For that kind of money, at least provide a good value. I won’t spend another dime on this game. They had a quick money grab, suckered their players, made everyone furious and now hopefully they will lose out in the long run when people stop spending $. EA you ruined a great game with your greed.

Fun at First. This game is fun at first; I love some of the features. When you have lots of cash and diamonds it’s a blast. There’s a wide selection of clothing and accessories to choose from from real brands, which is amazing. The app makes an attempt at being inclusive of different cultures and skin colors, which is something I like about it. They give you a bit of money to start out with, but because of the price of things, you quickly blow through that money. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros, in my opinion. All the clothing options are very expensive. In game currency is hard to get unless you’re willing to pay real-world cash for them. Fashion houses are a fun idea, but they can be superficial. It’s hard to compete with the higher-level players. I know of course that they earned their way to the top, but a low-level player being scored against a higher-level player is simply unfair. Higher-level players have access to more clothing and accessories, benefits, and more money and prizes. Overall they have a big advantage over the low-level players, making it hard for us ourselves to level up and reach their level. Covet, please decrease your prices for clothing and accessories, and maybe consider only scoring us against people within our level range?

Stealing Top Looks. I have been playing this game for years. Lately I'm so discouraged as a top Level Player. I put a lot of my own money as well as many of my sister players that have also been playing for years. The company is stealing Top Looks from Cloning groups that love to just have fun and duplicate look that are created by a very talented person. Again we enjoy doing this and these are the high closet value players such as myself that put in the most time and money into your game. Lately you are choosing one person to give a Top Look to and don’t seem to care about all the other identical looks that deserve being awarded the Top Look as well. The scores are all over the place and you are giving no advantages to the people that have invested the most in your game. I think that you have forgotten that there should be perks to leveling up in every game yet right now you seem to care most about your lower level players most that won’t continue to play for years. You need to start remembering who has been with you since almost the beginning and award the loyalty. Higher Level players deserve to have an advantage to lower level players. Remember we were all there once. Do the right thing. Give those Mass Top Looks that have been earned. If not you will surely lose a large population but you should do it because it is the right thing to do to reward your long time players and not punish them.

Fed up. I’ve been playing covet on and off since about 2013. It’s a fun addictive game but you get bored after awhile. It’s really hard to level up so your stuck with the same makeup and hair for a lonnnggggg time. and then the game is very unfairly and poorly made when it comes down to voting and judging the players outfits. Hell I’ve been stuck on the same jet set for months now. Not only that but the diamonds for the amount you get is overpriced then u buy them make a cute outfit and if it doesn’t look like everyone else’s then you just wasted your money on a look that didn’t get you a prize or even level you up. I loved when covet introduced being able to change skin color and body type on every challenge it made it fun and more interesting, now all u can do Is “hope” that the model for the day may be a colored one or even a curvy one. The only time they really give you colored models is when it has something to do with a specific culture for the challenge. I used to love this game so much because it was fun interesting and when I could customize the model I lost my mind the possibilities we’re unlimited!!!! But now I can’t do any of these things and I feel to even compete in challenges is a waste of time because I don’t win a thing!!! I went from winning 4-5 prizes a week to now if I enter a challenge everyday I may only win 1 or 2 prizes because of the unfair voting. I hope you guys get it together!

sad changes. I have been playing Covet Fashion on and off since 2015. That’s SEVEN years that I have been watching this game develop and change. As I keep redownloading after I get frustrated and delete it for a while, there are obviously things about it that are good. But especially now, it seems like the only way to progress in this game is to spend money on it. With the way the voting system works, people will vote for whichever one catches their eye. Usually, this is the one with the ridiculously colorful props that the person paid real money for. This makes it impossible for players who don’t want to spend money to get good ratings on their looks. This also goes for any of the eye catching hairstyles, which you really can’t get unless you spend real money on covet cash in order to pay your way to level up. In the end, people will be voting for those who paid money for the game, and not for people who have the same exact level of fashion ‘skill’. Covet needs to add some free options for prop backgrounds and a few nice hair and makeup options for lower level players in order to level the playing field just a bit. Right now, the voting system is unfair to players who don’t want to spend real money on this game. But maybe that’s the point.

Love this game, but…. Truly love this game, I always come back to it. Such a fun way to play with fashion that I would never be able to do irl. Prompts are fun, even when they’re recycled, and it’s nice to start fresh every season. All of that said, there are still issues with racism. Makeup looks and skin tones have been added, but hair is still sorely lacking in diversity. To add, makeup looks have locked in hair colors with the eyebrow shades, so even for the few representative hair styles, I can’t use the makeup looks I want to use with the hair color I want. I really think that’s a worthwhile feature (or at the very least being able to sort makeup looks by eyebrow color). Another huge drawback: challenges based around Covet Collection items. These items are usually highly specialized for a few challenges and they’re not cheap. It’s discouraging and not fun at all when all of the top looks for a challenge are just… the clothing designed for that very prompt. Often, top looks are very similar, especially with the addition of “featured items,” but it’s even worse when the game specifically designs things for a challenge. I get that the game needs to make a profit, but this really detriments the game to me.

Really fun but.... I have been playing this game for almost three years and I have played this long because it is a fun game. I enjoy styling challenges and winning prizes and the fashion houses are a huge help when you play because you can borrow from them and they can give you advice on the outfits you put together. There are a few big problems that need to be fixed though. Voting is the biggest one because they put level 3s up against level 70s in voting and it just not fair. The level 70 is going to get the vote because they have way more hairstyles and makeup than the level 3. Another thing is the price of hair accessories. They are very helpful and Covet does feature them in many challenges, but they are really over priced. They are almost $10 each and there are some that you use like twice a year. Also, they are always coming out with new levels for the people with really expensive closets. This is another problem because when they are always making new levels faster than you can level up, you can never make it to the top. This is mainly because you can only enter like three challenges a day because they do not give you nearly enough money from the daily to buy the stuff that is required for the challenges. This is a good game, but some things do need to be fixed.

Honest Review. There are so many things I love about Covet, but there are a couple of things that really peeve me. First, let me say that I love the basic premise of the game, especially because I love fashion. I also enjoy seeing how well I match up against others, although it’s amazing how my scores tend to fluctuate at times, where I get so many 5 stars for a week or two, and then my scores all dip to 4.5, with my voter scores being 3.87...on multiple challenges within a couple of days. Maybe that’s just a coincidence.🤷🏻‍♀️. I love that this game allows me to be creative with fashion in a challenging way. However, I cannot stand when a challenge calls for such specific items that all the looks are almost identical save for the hair and makeup...where’s the creativeity in that? I also don’t like when a challenge requires specific items from particular brands, and although I have several of those items in my closet, they aren’t the ones required. It’s uncanny how often that happens. I do also feel like the items offered have become increasingly more expensive, which is frustrating. Overall, I love Covet, but there are definitely a couple of things that could be improved upon.

Covet Fashion 💕👗👠💄👛💍💕. This is a great game there only two major things that I ABSOLUTELY HATE SO MUCH AND IS SOO ANNOYING. The first thing is the money. For example I spend a couple hundred or a thousand dollars and only get 100 back. I always run out and I am NOTTT paying for some with real money. I think I work really hard on the looks but can’t do all the challenges or style different types of looks because I don’t have enough money UGHHHH SO ANNOYING RIGHT. The second thing is the tickets. Like come on why do u need so many tickets to submit your look. After I do my look I have to spend more time voting for tickets then I did on the look it takes so longggggg and I usually don’t end up even submitting the look because is born have enough tickets and I’m tired of and I might even delete and get a different app. But other than those two major things that I really hope you can fix the game is really fun and I like all the different clothing items there is there is sooo many items to choose from. I like doing all the different events well the ones I can do. If you change these things I would decently give this 5 stars. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a good rest of your day.

What is going on??. I’ve played Covet Fashion since 2018. In the last couple months/year we have gotten so many new updates that are truly not useful, and some that I do like. Useless: crowns. Useful: fashion pass. Useless: limited time hairstyles. Useful: goals. Useless: prop credits. Useful: search buttons for hair and props (still waiting for this for clothes and makeup). Now they’ve introduced another half-baked idea: gem levels. What is the point of this? Why? This feels like another way to limit players. I already spend about $11 a month on the game, by choice, for the CC pass and the fashion pass. That’s $132 minimum a year. They have millions of players. They are making TONS of money from this. It is so frustrating to want to just enjoy the game when they introduce new ideas that make no sense. I want to opt out of the stupid crowns—I have used them maybe once and I hate the hairstyles so much when I can’t get rid of them. Truly disappointing. Why is there a ticket cap of 75? When we get bonus tickets for whatever reason, we then can’t accept our daily/goal tickets til those are spent. You’re going to lose longtime players, covet, if you do not listen to the people who actually like this game. Go to Facebook comments and see how upset people are.

Annoyed. I've been playing this game for around 4 or 5 years and I've never had a complaint except for recently I've been getting really annoyed with it. As mentioned before items are ungodly expensive and we're only getting $100 for entering events and 25 diamonds IF we get a score of 4.5 or above, which seems impossible nowadays since people with bigger wardrobes and the people who spent large amounts of money for hair accessories, clothes, etc. I don't really think it's fair to other people. I think there should be different sections of voting for people with different wardrobe sizes. Also, I really don't agree with the hair accessory idea at all. They're beautiful and they look great but why are we being charged $9 for ONE hair accessory. That's insane. I could see $9 for all of them? But for one? That's a ripoff, and it's unfair to the players who can't afford it. I also don't like the new themes, every single one requires a ballgown now, as every daily event is based around princesses, fairys, witches, sorcery, you get the idea. I like the mythical thing, but not everyday. I hate making a bad review about this game, I've been addicted for years and the idea behind it is great but it's just gone really downhill. All they want is money and they make it really obvious. If you're gonna play this game, have your wallet ready!

I’m very disappointed in Covet. Covet, is really making it difficult for us players to earn our own diamonds through our own efforts without having to be constantly spending real money, which is the point of playing games and being challenged. Even on 2x diamond days. They have pulled out all of the game diamond offers, now all those offers are about purchasing and spending real money and on top of it, many require a monthly purchase/payment. A lot of the wardrobe they are bringing in is very costly. They don't even have 2x diamond sales on the packages of diamonds they sell. They should at the very least do that. Those packages cost a lot and barely give enough diamonds. Very unfair, and this is feedback coming from someone who has spent a lot money on this game already! But seriously guys, how much more? I love this game but so disappointed about all this. It costed me being kicked out of my FH too, which I loved being a part of, because can’t really play often and spend so much. And this also affects the scoring and the ability to level up faster. Makes it even harder than it already was to achieve Top Looks and Best Looks, hence harder to achieve diamonds through our own efforts to continue playing. It’s losing the joy of gaming. It’s become about them making more money; how much money can they make us spend, how much more can they milk the cow. Ugh, very disappointing 😒

Money Grab. I am all about this being a for profit game. Every season I bought all of the new season packs and happily paid the monthly fee for my covet collection pass. I even bought the out of season packs to get things to enter flashbacks if I didn’t have everything. What pushed me over the final ledge was the prop pack grab bags. While not a huge fan of most of the props, I made sure to finish the series every month to get the prop pack and non rally headpiece. I refuse, however, to spend real money on a CHANCE to win certain props. The prop tokens are sold in packs of 10 but all prop packs cost 10 tokens so not sure why they did it that way. They are $8.99 US and to buy random prop packs (usually made up of previous months props) it is also 10 tokens. Out of say 8 individual props, you would get randomly selected ones (two or three I think). You could win a prop you already had and the more popular the prop, they lower the your chances of getting it. While this seems minor to someone that hasn’t played covet, as stupid as the props are, you can lose votes if you don’t include the themed prop for the look. This is just one of several ways they make it impossible to play the game seriously without it costing substantial real money. It’s a great game and I still do some looks but will no longer do every look, rally, and series.

It’s been real but I’m out. It’s a fun game with a near-endless possibility of different looks to make. However there’s a lot of problems I have with this game that outweigh the good. I hate that common phone game platform where in order to do good you basically have to either dedicate all your spare time to it or spend real-life money and I don’t that that’s fair to those of us who can’t afford to be blowing our money on virtual hair accessories or clothing packs. I don’t like how split up Modern and Classic modes are. I love that Modern mode has diverse models of different skin tones and sizes but I shouldn’t need to be playing a special mode to do so and I don’t believe it should lock skin and body types on all the challenges, eliminating my ability to be creative and choose. There should just be one mode with all the different models available. A lot of the challenges require you to spend too much of your diamonds/cash for very little payoff. Why should I create an flashback challenge outfit for like, 2000 diamonds but only get $100 or $200 cash back? And then the whole voting algorithm takes the fun out of it because all the top looks basically look the same because players organize in their fashion houses and basically dictate what THE LOOK should be so you have a bunch of of the same model basically flooding the pool.

Two Different Modes. Covet is a fun game, where you can pretend your a fashion designer. There’s two different modes for models; modern and classic. In classic, you choose the skin tone of your model, which can be changed whenever. However, all the faces have the same noses and eyes. I like how classic has more makeup options than modern, but the noses and eyes aren’t very diverse. In modern, the skin tone of your model is chosen for you based on the challenge you’re currently doing. It also chooses a model of varying weight. While modern does a good job of having faces that are diverse, the makeup options aren’t. The makeup options vary based on the skin tone of your model, but often are very stereotypical. For example, most of the makeup options look angry for models with darker skin tones. This is problematic, since it follows the angry Black woman stereotype and fails to have the same emotions for models of all races. You can switch back and forth between modes in settings. Currently, I use classic, since it doesn’t have the problems with stereotypes in makeup. I wish that modern did a better job with the makeup options, because I do like how it has more diverse faces.

One star for now. I CAN NOT ACCESS MY INBOX MESSAGES TO GET SCORES ON CHALLENGES OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER. What I want to know is WHY NOT?? Is it because I don’t spend a lot of money on the game or what. I’ve spend over 25$ in the last week. Don’t be greedy for those who play that are financially challenged. If you can’t fix this then I’ll just delete it. No big deal. Only I happen to like the game so it’s a big deal to me. I’ve played several weeks maybe a few months and still a low level because you have to spend SO MUCH SO VERY MUCH to level up, which is ridiculous. Hell, I’ve played war dragons for a year and a half and didn’t have to spend that much to level up to what I am now. If I had to spend that much on this game for level up and get rewards it’s not worth it. I’d tell anyone it’s not. Yeah it’s fun to do challenges and such but the cost of some of this stuff is outrageous for a game. If you want to add more player appeal to the financially challenged people. They will play. However, if it doesn’t change soon I’ll be deleting the game. I hope some good changes come soon and I really like the game. I would apologize for being so blunt but I’m trying to reinvent myself. So.... if I’ve offended anyone get over it and make the game better for everyone who plays. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, they are probably to nice to say anything. Anyway, Covet could be a great game with some changes. Right now is mediocre at best.

Racist game. Tired of complaining about this.. I gave this five stars last time but now I’m giving it three and let me tell y’all why. This game is so racist its not even funny. Ive been plying this game for almost three years. They force you to have certain facial features, makeup and to have a specific skin color for certain challenges. Lets say it’s black history month and they want to commemorate a jazz singer, they make you into a light skinned black women. Or if its hispanic heritage month, you suddenly have to be turned into this pasty white character. I thought black and hispanic people (people in general) came in all shades so why am I forced to be too light, too white, or too dark? They only have four skin complexions so Im therefore forced to always look like a tan white woman or a really pale black women. And when you change the game to “modern” it forces you to only be a black women with “thick” curves. I am a black woman who would like to feel as if though I were part of the game, not awkward because Im forced or only given few options to pick from of how I think my character should look. And every time I complain or report this issue, Im ignored. To think I actually pay for diamonds to buy clothes. This game is addicting, but its slowly losing its appeal.

Scam-worst game. So I downloaded this game years ago when t first came out and enjoyed it. However, the $$ earn rate is ridiculous. You have to spend between $200-$1000 at the very least for most challenges and only get $100-$200 back most challenges. I got tired of not being able to enter any so I deleted the game. Fast forward to now. I reinstalled it knowing how aggravating it was but thought surely they’ve changed things by now. Boy was I wrong. Not only is just JUST as bad as I remember I found this “earn extra diamonds “ area where you could do a number of “free trials” **will not be rewarded for immediate termination after free trial** yes. You read that correctly. If you download and do the free trial and then when it comes to spending real money, you can’t cancel without not getting the diamonds. So it’s pointless. Might as well outright buy diamonds. On top of that, if you do one of the smaller diamond rewards and play “said game” to level 3 or complete the tutorial, and go back claim your prize 1 of 2 things will happen. 1.) that prize option is now gone. Poof. No longer there. Or 2.) you click back on it for it to say “sorry. This has been removed/and or is no longer active”. So you just spent who know how long playing anther game, or answering another survey just for it to be all for nothing. My advice, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. It will only just make you angry.
