Unresponsive App. Approximately every 3 days I have to delete the mobile app and reinstall it. When I put in my user name and password and hit “sign in” it circles for about 15 -20 seconds and them stops without signing me in. There are no error messages or anything just sits on the sign in page. I also do not like that even after my pending transactions have cleared the still all show up in my pending transactions with a zero balance. I have been having issues with using my card to add money to another account. The other account gives me a message that there is a problem with the money network card. A lot of issues that make me very anxious, especially since all of the customer service is outsourced and not able to handle anything that is not routine problem. They have no ability to think outside the box to try and resolve issues and they flat out don’t care if you are without your funds because the have a “script” that tells them how to resolve things and if you don’t fit into that “script” then don’t even bother trying to get them to understand enough to help you. I haven’t had to call many times but when I have called it was very very frustrating.

Card locked. I have had a money network account for over 2 years now, and have had no issues. Recently I bought and international plane ticket and found that my account was locked. Looking at reviews, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to have it unlocked. Much to my shock, my call was answered (to be fair, after a couple tries) by a very kind customer support caller! He was very direct and helpful, and within 5 minutes my account was active again.

Disability insurance. Of course our government programs will pick the worst banking service possible to pay your money with. The app always says my log in is wrong and locks me out. I’ve Written it down, screen shot it, saved in phone, all info is correct but not when I need to log in quickly! You have to wait and be transferred on the phone many times to be slightly helped. You have to repeat all your information each transfer. You have to pay fees and wait 5-7 days for money to be transferred to your own banking facility. You cannot take out more than $500 in 1 day so forget about paying your mortgage easily. They also hold larger amounts than your transactions, like gas or restaurants, and takes 10 days to get it back! They also charge for using any other ATM but a money network one, which was 10 miles from me, so I had to bite the stupid fee, for my OWN money!!!! You work hard your whole life then get hurt waiting months for a program you’ve worked to have the reinsurance of. Only to find out the bank they use is even more incompetent!

Do better!!!! PLEASE!!!! 🙄🙄😠. worst money handling bank ever!! Logging in is fairly simple but recently when I started to login, it gives me this error page saying I can’t login and I need to “call the number on the back of the card”. So I call, and first of all the lady that picked up took at least two minutes to answer every single one of my questions… like I don’t have all day miss!! I don’t know what that was about, but anyways the way she was talking was just sick. Arrogant and rude, she sounded like she wasn’t ready to provide any good customer service to me, A.K.A, the customer. She kept telling me I needed to reach out to my employer, which I told her that I don’t have an employer anymore because this card was given to me on the beginning of June 2023 while I only worked at my job for a week. She still didn’t understand so I kept on telling her that and I told her how even though I quit my job, I could still use my card because it still had my money in it, but she keept saying to go back to my employer. 😐 as I CLEARLY told her I do NOT have an employer…. Like Jesus lady!! Give me a break!!! Anyways, please choose a different banking choice because money network will really get your wasting your precious time!

Provincial ridiculousness. I don’t know where to begin with this company… My account has been broken into and fraudulent charges accrued upon for over $1,200 twice now. I had my card on me both times and yesterday the supervisor’s solution to my problem was to cancel my card and send me a new one. I also must wait 10-30 business days for my dispute claim to be reviewed and my money refunded. The first time this occurred I was able to transfer my paychecks to a real bank, for a fee of course, and then could use my card, when it arrived via mail, in a week. I have been immediately withdrawing each paycheck within 2 hours ever since. Until I had out of state surgery and left several hundred dollars in for about five days. Sure enough, someone spent $1,200, which overdrew my account, at a Walmart in Tampa. When I called Walmart (who coincidently owns the Mickey Mouse money network company) they put me on hold for 47 minutes and then hung up…I can’t believe my employer continues to force its employees to use this company. If I could give money network a negative rating, I would.

problem logging in. i’ve never had a problem with money network until recently. at the beginning of the month i was able to log into my account and check my balance after i bought some things. now whenever i try to log in it gives me an error message saying that an error has occurred and to try again. if the problem continues i have to call customer service which i’ve done multiple times and even talked to a real person. she told me it was probably just something with the app and since it happened to me once to just try again at a later time. i’ve tried logging in the next day and the days after and it still gives me the error message. i don’t want to log in on the website because i don’t remember my password i log in on the app with face id since it was easier for me. i’ve never had this happen and it used to work perfectly. customer service cant even help and the automated messages say my social security number wasn’t in there so now idk what to do. i’ve tried everything i can think of all i want is to check my account and put my savings in my main account.

Worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Money Network as a whole is just a bad idea, I recommend staying clear away. I’ve had nothing but problems, they randomly shut your card off, you never get an actual card with your name on it, it just says payroll customer, the app is constantly glitching, refusing to launch, open, login, etc. There are no biometric options to login unlike every other bank out there and there customer service couldn’t have a clue as to what’s going on. A refund was sent back to my account for $100, the bank received it but my account was never credited. This was over 5 months ago, it’s still an ongoing battle. Just an absolute joke of a bank or even a financial institution. I’ll be filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as well as the FTC.

No balance. It’s been a week now my account showing no balance yet money available when I use my card. Have called customer service 4 times apparently there’s a glitch in the App. Takes 5 minutes minimum to get through to a live person to tell me there’s a glitch. Get it fixed already I’m really disappointed with this setup and the lack of IT help on the app and when you call and request IT help there isn’t any

Worst banking app I’ve ever used. Why the state of NJ uses this bank for short term disability payments I have absolutely no idea, because they are so awful. I can’t consistently log on to the freaking app. I tried initiating a transfer to my regular bank account a week and a half ago only to get an email five days later notifying me that my money was transferred back to the Money Network Account. After calling the bank later that day, I was told that the issue had been resolved, so I initiated another transfer after getting off the phone. It has now been almost a week, and my money still hadn’t been transferred. I have bills I need to pay and have had to go into my savings account to pay them because of course I don’t have an account or routing number with my Money Network account, and this has been causing me major anxiety on top of all the other anxiety I have right now

Worst possible banking app. I get that this company is used for government benefits, but there’s no way they had to choose the worst possible bank and technology for it. When they used Bank of America, I never had an issue. But this company was probably a cheaper contract so of course that’s who they went with. Now I can’t even log into the app. There’s no Face ID option, you have to log back in every time and doesn’t save your password. Then I could sit here for 15 minutes hitting sign in over and over and the page goes nowhere. Finally when I get past that page I have to do the OTP which sometimes sends and sometimes doesn’t. Then again the same issue happens with hitting submit. Over and over and over. Then you’re brought to the page that asks if you want to remember this phone the next time I log in, which would be great if it actually worked! But when I hit save it gives an error. Every time. So I have to hit skip now. Every time. I hate this app. At least the card connects to cashapp so I can just load my money on there instead. It says a lot if I prefer freaking cashapp over this.

Don’t use this as a bank. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. My company pays from this “bank” that didn’t catch 1300 dollars in small online transactions that I never agreed to or was even aware of. When I disputed these charges and spent all morning on the phone with someone who barely spoke English in a foreign country that didn’t work for a bank but a call center. A week later I received a letter saying my claim was denied but no explanation or any way to contact someone who actually works for the bank. After another long phone call I was informed to fax an appeal letter in 2021. Are you kidding me. I feel robbed and a real bank would have caught this quickly and stopped these charges and would have returned the money to my account. These people are thieves and I hope big companies stop working with them.

These issues are obnoxious. So the first couple issues I had with this is not being able to spend my own money which I think is insane due to issues on the company side. Luckily those days I had other funds available. The third time I was unable to move money from my savings or “piggy bank” called and waited 25 minutes to speak to someone for them to tell me “we don’t have that capability”..... excuse me? You’re supposed to be able to do whatever I need in case of a problem (which is currently happening). And lastly today, I started a new job which I’ll currently be receiving two check from 2 separate jobs, I have 2 separate card numbers and I’m not able to set up a new account (bc my information is the same) and I’m not able to add a card on my current account. So I guess the alternative is setting up direct deposit with the account information but still. It’s just obnoxious, rant over.

Worst app to support EDD payments. California transitioned to this app from one maintained by Bank of America. Unfortunately, it’s a stark difference in quality, experience and cost to users. The MN app installed to my iPhone and setup could not be used to access my account at all. I was unable to authenticate and launch the app services. The support person directed me to the web app which is equally as flaky. Through the web I was eventually able to authenticate to see funds available. Unlike the Bank of America app you are not notified that your attempt to transfer money ever we t through. You must search that out. No notice stating transaction completed. Furthermore, with MN you pay $25 to transfer money. With Bank of America there was no charge for transfers. You can transfer your full balance. I feel for those who really need the additional $25. Guess California didn’t think things through when switching from BofA.

App Function is Terrible. I almost never leave reviews on apps, but the experience I had with this one warrants feedback. There’s no reason why setting up this thing should be so difficult. I had to fill out information multiple times and click to submit the information multiple times before the app would accept the submission and move on to the next step. Ultimately, it appears that the app just runs slowly and takes an unreasonable amount of time to update to reflect whatever function has taken place, but that’s an issue. It shouldn’t take that long, and someone who’s not necessarily tech savvy may not understand how to pinpoint and navigate the issue. Needs to be fixed asap and I’m glad I won’t need to use this app beyond this one instance. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Customer Service and Awful App. I tried the “move money to external bank account” and it failed to notify me that it would take 2-4 business days before sending the money, as I’m writing this, im on hold for 10 minutes now, this is also the second time I’ve called and been on hold, the first time, they answered after 15 minutes and stayed silent until I hung up. Now I’m late on bills... this is my first and last time EVER doing anything with this sad “company”. Had high hopes, i thought customer service would completely change my thoughts on this app.... it only tied it up as a terribly organized site. I Can’t believe it has over 1.0 star. It should be kicked off the App Store, it’s clear they’ve given up. I’m speaking with corporate tomorrow to stop servicing their cards. A waste of plastic, phone line, phone storage, and phone time.

Bad service and timing. After my second paycheck, I had tried to transfer $600 from the card to a separate bank account and waited the allotted 3-5 days and it never came. After about 10 days I called and they told me that I should wait one more day and see if the money goes in. I waited the one day and it wasn’t there. I called again and they said they would have to cancel it and have it go back to the card. It’s been a little over two weeks and the money has yet to get back into my card. The app also doesn’t show the right balance. I was supposed to get paid on Thursday and it wasn’t there. I asked my boss and they said I would have to call money network. I did and it read me a balance that I wasn’t able to see on the app? It feels like they’re stealing my money. If you get the option to use this card or direct deposit, TAKE DIRECT DEPOSIT. This is an absolute waste of my time and effort. It shouldn’t be this hard to get the money I worked for.

Worst pre paid card ever. You can't use this card on anything really can't use it for Apple Pay, or on cash app,Venmo or even zell , if u try to make an online purchase they will flag it as suspicious and lock you're card and then when you confirm the transaction they will tell we will have to send you a new card. SMH I hate this card. Have no clue why unemployment and disability switched from Bank of America to money network. Also there customer service is terrible!!!!! When u ask for a supervisor they will transfer u but no matter how long u wait nobody will come to the phone. Also if u do regular transactions if at any time there system thinks you're card has been compromised they will lock you're card and won't tell you anything. You won't find out anything until you call them ohh and it doesn't matter about the online banking when they have to issue a new card you have no access to youre funds at all. don't know if this company paid people to write positive reviews but trust me this card and company is really really bad. My suggestion if you is anytime money hits this acct transfer it to another card that's more reliable. Cause I'm in a situation we're new card won't come for 7 days. Have no access to no money for 7 days!!!!

Tip: don’t expect it to work on the first day. California’s employment development division uses this debit card app from first data corporation. I did not experience the three or four horrible items I read in these earlier reviews, but the first day was so frustrating, I am writing my first App Store review to give everyone else a heads up; it does not accept multiple logins, my password was not saved; It will not save bank account information that you want to set up transfers to; and lastly, the support was nonexistent. My suggestion to them is that they put in a dialogue box that says **don’t try anything tonight after opening this app, just put it aside and try again tomorrow. It’s also quirky.. there are things like saved bank account information for transfers, which failed to appear; Balances are sometimes incorrect; Duplicate, pending transactions are logged $0, without being cleared from the history. MOST of these errors will clear once you log off and log back on. This EDD debit card cannot be added to Apple Pay, but you won’t find that stated anywhere. In fact, the company says this card can be added to Apple Pay. I did not have any erroneous withdrawals or transfers like the other reviewer experienced. Even the card web portal for EDD is clunky and not intuitive, but at least the card company has live agents who are better than nothing, and a portal that is better than this app.

No support whatsoever. I have to use this company because my work gave me a payroll card for money network. The app and online service gets no support whatsoever, I have been unable to log into my account for months and the same has happened to a fellow coworker. Calling the company gets you nowhere. The only way I’ve been able to know the amount in my account is by the notifications I receive on my phone after a deposit has been made or when I go to an atm. As atm’s are the only way for me to transfer my money into my own bank account through withdrawing everything out of the money network account. Even then the withdraw limit is $600, so I can’t even move all of my own money. I hate having to use this card and I wish my work wouldn’t use this trash bank system.

Do not help if you get card lost or stolen. They continuously hang up on you when trying to report a card lost or stolen. It’s completely ridiculous. How am I suppose to cancel the card? They give you no other way to contact them except with this number where they hang up in your face. I hate this so much I will strongly advise my work places corporate to discontinue service with them over email and the next time one of our higher up comes in. This is completely unprofessional and they are a scam. Not to mention I transferred money to my sister and they took it out of my account and never sent it to her. When they finally answered they said that I had not sent her any money when it is clearing in my transactions that I have. Not to mention I screen shot it so there is no denying it. They will steal your money and allow others to steal it as well. I strongly advise you do not work with this thing, company, better yet a scam whatever they want to call themselves DO NOT give them your service they will rip you off and then hang up in your face.

Terrible. If I could give 0 stars, I would.. The atm map is extremely inaccurate. I called to close my account. The customer service agent answered, not stating their name or anything and asked why I called. I told them I called to close my account. They asked for my name, phone number and email. I was hesitant at first because it seemed like a scam. I eventually gave them the information. They told me that my account was closed and that I wouldn’t be able to log in anymore. I wanted to test that out and attempted to log in. I was able to log into my “closed account” around 5 times. I communicated this to the customer service agent and they told me my account was closed. I asked them if it was closed, why could I still access it via the app. The only reason they gave me as to why I could still access it was because the account was not closed online. I asked them if my account was closed on the system, why wouldn’t it be closed online? The agent only told me that they were going to submit a report to their manager about this instead of actively trying to fix the issue. Whenever I asked a question, they avoided giving me a direct answer. The entire thing seemed like a scam. It felt like one of those stereotypical Indian scam calls. In the end they basically hung up on me without saying anything. Terrible app, terrible network, terrible customer service.

scammers. do not use money network they are scammers. I closed my account and they offered to send my remaining funds to me through the mail in a check. They said it would take 7-10 business days so I waited. about 12 days later I called again and asked why the check never arrived. The lady on the phone would not give me a straight answer as to why the check never came and that’s when I knew I’ve been scammed. The lady then. Canceled my check and reissued at another 7-10 days later it still never came so I called again and I was told the same time only this time that it was 4-5 weeks why did the time change? They are scammers do not use this app! They still over $400 from me

The worst banking app of all. This is one of the worst if not THE worst banking app that I have to deal with. If I could give you -1 stars I would. The buttons don’t react to click properly because the background API calls timeout or something so you have to click two or three times!! It’s a miracle I could even register. The app would go back to the previous screens and ask me the same information three times!!! I tried adding an external account and it did not work no matter what. No error message, just stops spinning and stays on the same screen. I really doubt this app is secure in any way since it seems like it was written extremely poorly and so many people are forced to use it because the state of California adopted it. No wonder we have so many security breaches: there is no security or reliability in this app. It’s a shame !!

App isn’t that great. I hate the fact that it’s so hard to log in , I would log in and it wouldn’t log me in , password & face log in . The deposit to your bank account option is nice but when you get paid on a Friday you won’t get the money til Monday or Tuesday , also it takes the money out from the card before it even hits your actual bank account so I suggest if you want to use money for the weekend don’t deposit into your bank account til Monday or else you won’t have any money on the network card & it also won’t be deposited to your bank til the weekday

Money network. I am giving this app a five it was very easy to sign on and apply for the accounts and what I mean by applies meaning just signing up and putting my information I had no glitches and issues with signing up after signing up with the app I went ahead and clicked onto the app and I love how the fact that it’s able to show your account balance right away if you only want to use it to just look at your balance and nothing else it’s perfect🤙🏾

Scam service. Can’t access funds with no hope in sight. App and website DO NOT WORK!!! Its criminal that a simple banking app denies you access to your funds. App is broken for no reason, corrupts personal information like email, and after going through the lengthy process of speaking to someone by phone, they just put you on hold to “ask their supervisor” and act surprised that anything is amiss and assure that it is a temporary problem, even though reviews from the last two months show that these problems have been persisting for a very long time. Positive reviews for this app also look like they have been bought from an Indian call center. No idea why Cal EDD switched to this service, but someone belongs in jail for this sham of a “bank”. Don’t hold your breath to get your money or have a functional app.

Needs work. When I try to sign in it wants me to designate my device and I do it then it asks again. I have completed the process around four times. Now my Face ID stopped working. It’s a whole process everytime I try to open my app. Trying to search for fee free tellers is very difficult on the app. I tried to transfer money to my bank and the money was missing in action for several days then it showed up back in my money card acct. I gave up and pulled money out at my Credit Union and it charged me $4.00. So I found I could pull out of Navy federal CU but I could only get $400 and I don’t feel safe having to go into the store. Don’t like the people loitering in the parking lot. I just need the money in my bank to pay my bills. The glitches with this app are never ending. I can never sign in the check my balance. I’m at the tire store and have no idea of my balance. 😭

Worst Banking App Ever. I did not choose this app, I only have it because of the money network card by job gave me. If I could give this app a 0 stars I would. The app NEVER works, whether it’s trying to sign in and it continually just looks like it signing in and then just stops. Or maybe it doesn’t want to show you ANY information on any screen after you do finally get in. Or the fact that it removed my external bank account 3 times randomly, and never wants to show me my transactions. There is a LAUNDRY list of problems with this app, if you can avoid using it I recommend that. The worst part is I’m sure they will never see this or any other review here and it will never be fixed.

The login pop up is annoying.. The app works as intended I guess. I don’t use it for much else other than to check my balance and purchases and reading other reviews, as long as you’re not an idiot to how the world works then it’s fine. I’ve not had any money “stolen”. My main issue is when logging into the app, after closing it and some time passes you’re automatically signed out. That’s fine. But the pop up telling me that will appear 3-4 times sometimes and don’t even think about trying to type in your login info before that pop up has appeared or else it’ll mess with the keyboard and text box and at that point just close the app and reopen it. I’d like to disable that pop up entirely.

CA EDD went from bad with BofA to worse with Money Network…. I don’t even know where to start… unable to login into the app, and it is not user error; seems like either bad app programming and or they have network/server issues; you can’t withdraw all EDD funds in one transaction; have to use ATM’s at off beat locations; nearly impossible to get through the customer support voice tree to speak with a human representative; ATM’s out of network only allow you to withdraw $200. with a charge at both the ATM and Money Network; no communication on what ATM Networks to look for e.g. allpoint ATM’s; and last but not least the app’s ATM search is almost useless. Ridiculous!!! If you are unlucky enough to unemployed and then access to your limited funds are wrought with difficulties and obstacles. One of the worst companies I have ever be forced to use. Poor management and even worse programming.

Can’t even access. I just got this app and activated my unemployment card. Since the activation I have not been able to even get into the app. Every time I try to login it takes me to the second screen which is verify your identity by text or email. It doesn’t matter which one I pick because it automatically dashboards me (knocks me back to the main login screen, again and again). I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. It doesn’t work. Bank of Americas app works well. This new bank switch-up was totally lame. I’ve tried all week to get into the app but it does no good. I made sure the app was up-to-date and I’ve switched my phone off and back on. I made sure I am connected to the internet or to the service tower. Nothing. It’s a dead end. No good.

Be Aware of your Money? And ready for Declines. First couple of Months it was ok , then issues started happening of #1 ) my card being Declined even on Payday and it’s due to Money Network not allowing funds to be available , so the store’s machines show declined but the stores will receive the money the following day but you receive nothing but a receipt showing Declined #2) you need to call the bank for the refund but they try to blame it on the stores of ATM your using instead of admitting to fault also refund will take 20 days to see you refund and the won’t credit your Acct #3) A Example your Acct Balance one day is $2,000 dollars and a hour or day later it’s $9.00 then $2,500 dollars #4) hard to understand there English is not so great. be very careful trusting your money with this place I’m closing my account going to a real bank.

Steal Money. I got this card from my job and the first time I bought food with the card which came to $52 and charged me $104 I told them that they double charged me and said the money would go back on my card and they only gave me $52 back, I told them they didn’t give me all the money back and the lady starts arguing with me as if I’m dumb reading all my purchases. Again this happens I got .10 cents worth of gas because the pump wasn’t working it I check my card and they charged me $79, so I called and she said they’d give it back in 30 days so I started telling her they can’t do that and then I check my card again and I was missing $158 so then I go on to tell them that this is not legal and she’s arguing with me as if it is. This goes on to happen 3 more times over the past 8 months of having this card. They have never once given me that money back. At one point they even took $500 and told me that it would go back on in 30 days, and a week later I get $479 back. I’m surprised no one shut this company down yet it’s ridiculous.

App doesn’t work most times. This app is so unreliable. I have to use it for my employer. If I wasn’t forced to use a paycard id never touch this app. Just something as simple as checking my balance is a frustrating process of closing and re opening the app trying to get it to sign in. If you manage to get signed in you still have issues with things not loading or refreshing often having to close it once again and go through the trouble of trying to get signed In again. Extremely frustrating for such a simple banking app. App is rarely updated and the few updates I’ve gotten since installing it haven’t done anything to help. By far the most unreliable unusable app i have on my phone. Unless you absolutely HAVE to use this app, don’t get it!

They don’t care. I have been out of work for a month and these guys find every reason in the world to not pay me what they owe me. The app is useless as it asks to have login info input. Once entered correctly a little loading wheel will spin briefly but it won’t progress and it will stay on the same screen rendering the app useless. I guess you could use it as a screensaver if you like but as far as a tool for checking funds, it does not operate. The entire system is just a game. For all you guys know I haven’t fed my kids In a month and my bank accounts are empty but that’s ok 😋😋 you need more receipts from a job I haven’t worked in 3 years? Cool 😋👍🏼 yes the ramen is good. It was good last night too, thanks for asking!

0 Stars. All of the reviews here are valid and it should be illegal to be able to continue providing such horrible service that deals with peoples money and lively hoods. I attempted to set up an account with the card that was provided through my company and I literally can’t even progress past the point where I input my card details because the ‘next’ option is greyed out, yet I have all of the information input correctly. Mind you this is on a brand new iPhone 13 so no my phone is not the issue. This app and the company running it should be investigated and shut down. I can’t believe a business that deals with peoples pay checks and money are able to get away with this. With all of the crazy fees they collect it’s insane they refuse to revamp this app especially while having almost the lowest possible review score. Bunch of clowns running this show.

Terrible. First off it’s not my choice to use this app. The restaurant chain I work for decided to switch to Money Network to deliver my paychecks and the tips I earn to me. Which is ridiculous for multiple reasons, mostly because in order to transfer to a different account i have to pay $3 every single time. Most banking apps will do a 2-3 day transfer for free, or an instant transfer based on a percentage of the amount you’re transferring. But no, Money Network charges a flat $3 rate for a 3-5 day transfer. Insanely stupid. The only way to withdraw cash from your account is to find one of the Money Network ATMs. Also, the card they supply you with doesn’t have tap to pay or even a chip(???). It’s almost embarrassing to use in public. The app looks nice but can be really annoying to use sometimes. Overall just seems like a scummy company and I hate that i’m forced to use it. And here’s dessert: Money Network is a stupid dumb name and whoever thought of that should honestly be fired.

Glitchy unresponsive repeat retries. This app is terribly glitchy. You click on things and see the dots spinning but it doesn’t complete. No error. No explanation. Just keep trying and it might eventually work. I use several banking apps and none are this bad. I haven’t been able to log in for a while. No error. Facial recognition is set up but it doesn’t log in. Password is saved in my phone password vault but it too isn’t working. The app displays the spinning dots but gives no error or any feedback. Just stops spinning dots like nothing happened. The registration process was like this too. I would submit my information and see the spinning dots, then they stop like nothing happened. I had to try over and over and eventually it would work. Does not inspire confidence.

Wages Now. The wages now part of the app is flawed. If you are ever lucky enough to get an offer, you only have about 40-50 minutes to redeem or claim it. And what time if the day is that offer going to be made? I’m so frustrated with this. Either make my money available to me, or don’t. I don’t want to play a carnival game trying to catch an offer. It’s ridiculous! And anytime I call the number on the back of the card, they assure me I will receive an offer after my shift ends or the next day. As far as I know, I’ve never even received one offer. And no one seems to be able to do anything about it. I just wish y’all were upfront and helpful about this issue. Maybe it is explained somewhere. Probably buried in the five pages of fine print that no human ever treads? Who knows…I’m just done.

Loved Exceed by Money Network. Not sure what the deal is between being able to use the Exceed by Money Network app versus this Money Network app. One day it just forced me over. I loved the Exceed app, and this was very similar I guess. The Money Network card is one of the few reasons I miss working for Walmart. It is a beautiful thing that these large corporations that admittedly pay employees at-or-very-near minimum wage are able to offer a money management solution that allows people to break away from the endless fees of the major banks out there.

Used to be better. They made the app “prettier” but I’d say they made it much glitchier. Anytime you even open the app it spams the you’ve been signed out message for a good few seconds before it lets you enter your password, will it let you in when you hit enter? Who knows. To be fair though the app works decent 90% of the time. absolute worst part I’d say is customer service because you won’t be able to understand a word should you need support, and I work with nonnative speakers daily and I have major trouble understanding so that should tell you something. Decent banking and I’ve never had an issue with my card. App could use a few improvements however. Also the support is sketchy at best they don’t say any names, you can’t understand them, and they ask for all your card info . To top it off they HUNG UP after I gave them the info which made me extremely nervous bc someone took my info and HUNG UP. SCAMMY???

Horrible!. I very rarely write a review regarding apps. This one is sooo awful that I had to. EDD really needs to reconsider continuing with using them to pay out for benefits. I can never log into my account, after clicking sign in, it just keeps loading then stops without signing me in. I never get an error message or anything. Never had an issue with BoA. I have to click things within the app multiple times before it actually loads. It’s super inconvenient. I like to keep my benefit payments separate from my daily bank account usage but I had to transfer all my money because this app is useless and the fact that I can’t log in most of the time is super annoying!

Horrible. I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences with this bank. My card information was stolen and I immediately called to report it. They did not cancel my card and more transactions went through by the time I realize what was going on again. Every time I transfer money into my account it was being eaten up by the thieves. I was able to prove that they had tried many transactions after that, and were unable to get it as I was smart enough to move my money and not have it there anymore. When I sent an appeal with all the information and proof, they denied they ever got the information that I sent in the same attachment as my appeal letter that they did claim to get. If this is federally insured, why was I denied my money back. Your money is not safe here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Wish I could give zero stars. Worst banking app possible. Card no longer works unless I do online transactions. Can’t see any previous transactions on the app or any activity. Occasionally locks me out of the app for “security reasons” even though when I call they say there are no security issues and try to log in in 48 hours. Same thing with the issue of no longer being able to use my card at the terminal or atm only online transactions. I’m told they do not know why this is happening they just shot me a bunch of guesses and said they will contact me in 48 hours. Luckily I have my credit card or else I would be screwed. Transferred balance on here to my credit union and hopefully it transfers but says it will take 3 days.

Money network card for dollar general. This has to be one of the worst mobile banking card and mobile banking apps I have ever used and I’m not the only one having issues with it. For one I can hardly ever get into my app even when I’m connected to my home Wi-Fi so don’t know what that’s about and when I do get into it it’s so slow and just bad it takes me about 20 mins to lock my card and another 20 mins to unlock it as well and that doing it over and over again then the lady in customer service wasn’t helpful at all when I called to report a charge I didn’t recognize, then proceeded to cancel my card before I could even pull my money off of there as I told her please don’t do that just yet it was the only access I had to any of my money, but she proceeded to do it not carry that I have bills to pay so I will never again be using this car because now I’ve been gone a week and a half without any access to my money still waiting on my new card to come in the mail

Worst app ever to bank on. If I had to choose to stick a needle in my eye or try to use this app for more than a minute, I’d basically do worse than ever use this app. Every time and without fail, it’ll act like it’s logging me in but it’ll never go through and stays stuck on the login screen, and if you’re even lucky enough to get into the account it won’t even show you how much you have unless you purposely wait 4 hours *yes I waited for that long and I should get paid* for it just to show you your amount. Not to mention how glitchy this app gets when it comes to literally anything. I can’t even click on one thing without it heating up my phone and slowing it down. This app has to be the worst and I mean worst banking app I’ve ever had

Pleased Most Often….. However,….. One thing I dislike and often get frustrated with is the inability to use the Ingo-Money that is introduced via the mobile app in the drop menu under “Deposit Check Funds”. I loved the idea of being able to upload a photo via check and add it to my spending account / banking account at my own personal convenience. I’ve used mobile uploading checks via my phone’s camera through the banking app at that current time and I LOVED IT! Made things so much easier for me in many ways . So needless to say I was rather frustrated when money network introduces within its app the same capabilities that I love , but cannot even access or enroll in its benefits. Another thing I dislike about the money network mobile app is not being able to add my banking information/ money network card to my mobile wallet. (Apple Pay ) Even though the two issues I have with this app are huge and important to me, I will say that there are more good qualities and tools within the app that out number any dislike. My favorite is the capability to lock your card with one swipe of a finger and be completely confident, stress free even, that no one can use my card, as well as knowing that just as quickly and efficiently as it locks it can be unlocked the same way via personal need or desire to access funds/ make transactions with my card. So over all I’m pleased with the app regardless of its fee flaws.

Broken features and tools after design update. The app used to work great before but after this new update with the new design (orange) — a lot of the features and tools inside the app seem to not be working. I try to “Lock Your Card” and the card will not lock even though I used to use this feature all the time before the update. There’s a couple other tools that seem to not respond after you click them that I unfortunately can’t think of at the moment but please look into these bugs. Been a user of this company for years and never had an issue but the app doesn’t seem to function properly after this new design update.

Great service! COVID impact payment. So right when I got my payment on a debit card. I called the number and activated the card. Than was referred to money network. So I followed the steps after I downloaded the app and funded my money network account with my $1400. Then I got on the app, and moved my $1400 from money network to my actual bank at no cost, but I was told the wait was up to 3 business days. I submitted anyway. Than I got skeptical after reading the app’s reviews. Nobody had anything good to say. Long story short, I was stressed out! But I got great news! Do not stress out! It took only one day for them to move my money to my bank😁. So as for me and my experience with this app, it gets a five star rating.

Worst Banking App. This is by far the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. I have zero trust with Money Network because of how annoying and frustrating it was just to make an account and log in. When I want to check my account, it should send a text message to verify my identity however I have never received a message in all the times I’ve logged in. Of course the government would sellout to the bank with the cheapest contract. When the EDD had their contract with Bank of America, I had no issues whatsoever with my bank account. Because Bank of America is already credited and established, I had complete trust and confidence in them. I don’t know how anyone can trust Money Network with their finances. This app is a scam. I would give zero stars if I could.

Horrible app and costumer service. Rude customer service, the app charges THREE dollars to move your money to another bank account and it’s not instant, it STILL takes 2-3 days to have your money and in the meantime it’s unavailable. They charged me TEN dollars for sending me a new card when it was lost! No one had no idea what happened with the card and charged me. I cant be more regretful of having ever applied to this account. Such a horrible experience.

Update. I used to like this app before the update a couple days ago. I’ve made a few purchases already but it doesn’t show any of the recent transactions and the amount of money still hasn’t changed either. So I don’t know how much money I have left in my account. The app also isn’t letting me transfer money from my main account onto my piggy bank for some reason? Please fix this!

New Update. I have used this app for years and I’ve never had a problem until this new update. It continues to close and says there’s an error, it can never “identify” my phone, error after error when I try logging in. I have never had to log in online and now that’s the only way I can view my account because this app is garbage. So frustrating because I had no issues at all with the last one.

What help??. No help with customer service, they don’t even speak English! 3rd person I called and try to talk literally just mumbled. I’m trying to get my money back from a purchase I did not make and yet they’re asking about other transactions I didn’t even mention. The first thing they started off with was “this transaction was to much and why did I take out a withdrawal?” What???? Shut up and ask why I’m calling first off! You have this card? Go to Walmart and get there’s. Save you a lot of stress.

Insufferable. Got my name wrong and wouldn’t let me change it. Asked for multiple phone numbers and would not let me continue registration without ‘em. Not every has 2 phone numbers. Goodness, this app is terrible. It’s the worst I have encountered so far. Please do better. This is a new low. I have never seen an app as bad as this. If I could rate this app negatively, I would. You are better off using an ATM than wasting and I do emphasize *wasting* any time with this sad excuse of an app.

What a joke. I launch the app and go through the steps of setting up a new login. It asks for an email address for multi-factor authentication (MFA). None of my emails enables the button to send a verification message! And the App Support website (a) doesn’t recognize my username/password from the mobile app, while (b) telling me I can’t register as a new user on the website because I already have a login ID! Which is it?

This bank and this app is absolute trash. I have just starting using this card because my work pays me through it for some idiotic reason. I can’t access my money and everytime I try to send my money to my actual bank it tells me I don’t have enough to cover the withdraw fees or transfer fees. This is the most ridiculous, sketchiest and frustrating app/bank or card I have ever used. I’m going to have to withdraw from an atm every single time I have to get to my money now.

No problem. I got my EIP card and had no problem transferring the money to my bank account. The only problem I had was the IRS sending me the card in the first place, instead of direct deposit. This app helps you step by step. Pretty easy. It also says up to 3 days for transfer and it only took one day.

Was it Forgotten?. The app is fine to me I just don’t understand if the ability to deposit a check through the app was forgotten or was it removed. To me that was a very important function and I’m curious as to why it’s no longer accessible in the app after it’s latest up date.

Inconvenient. My card got flagged for fraud when I was on vacation in another country which I guess is understandable. But when I got back the US I called the number in the back of the card and they told me that I had to pay to order and entirely new card instead of just unlocking the one I had. Also, the random two step verification is annoying especially when the app keeps freezing and won’t let me into my account. So many inconveniences I lease fix the app

Error. I’m unable to login. Every time I open the app it says “please make sure you are on the latest app version and are on a reliable network”. But I have no update option in the App Store and my wifi is connected and works perfectly fine. Not only that I’ve added it to my Apple wallet but it won’t let me use it via the app. Can you please fix this thnx.

I can find an atm but I can’t actually sign into the app. I created an account successfully but the app then requires multi factor confirmation for sign. To do this, it asks for your email. Unfortunately, even after entering the email, it doesn’t activate the button required to enable sending the confirmation to the email address. Dead end. Tried multiple email addresses. None worked. I can locate an atm though. Sooooo, two stars.

Useless. I can’t verify my email because when I type it in it won’t let me continue, I try to do it on the computer it has me go through the security questions I set up, understandable, it tells me every single answer to the questions I set up 5 minutes ago are incorrect and their only way of customer service is a phone number I’ve tried using it but it doesn’t give me an option to help it just tells you your balance!

Worst it can be. This is by far the worst company to do business with. Our company has used them for 5 years and nothing but problems. Do your self and stay as far away from them as possible. They locked me out of my account say I am not me and charge me fees but will not give me access to my money. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. On hold for 1:45 minutes. Rude. Unable to communicate. When I asked for a supervisor they put me on hold for another 1 hr .

Never use money network period they are a joke. F money network they trying to say my account is negative when it’s not never again will I let anyone I work for give me a money network card I will throw it at them they will not get my account out of negative I said one the phone with them over an hour and the lady her self said it wasn’t negative but yet they won’t fix the problem I’m done with them for good period never use money network

Crashed without notice. I have been using this application for years now. Recently however, after upgrading it suddenly crashed. I was then prompted to enter my user ID and password again. After entering in my user ID and password several times, it doesn’t do anything but keep prompting me to enter my password. I deleted this application and just call the 800 number instead to check my balance and make transactions.

Email error. I made my new account, I had money pending but was able to get the funds so no issues there. However, I see how many bad ratings the app is getting and if it’s this bad it should be taken down or needs fixing. The app is not letting me verify my email though. I’ve never had issues with my email. Thought it was very weird. I’ll be canceling the card and use a bank deposit instead.

New Update is ridiculous. The new update that changed the look of this app is horrible. Can no longer see a quick balance. Signs you out as soon as you get in. 2 factor authentication is awful. It’s does it every other time I log in then you add the device and it still does it and my device has a different number every time. I do not recommend this. I use this through my work. I will be opening a bank account and getting rid of this app.

No job is worth this horrendous app.. If you are unlucky enough to be stuck with a money network account, just quit whatever job gave you the card. I can’t get into my account, I have no idea how much money I have on my card, and if you can manage to actually get a hold of customer service, you’ll want to pull a white boy and punch a hole through the wall. Unable to add to apple wallet please fix. For some reason after the new app update I’m unable to add my card to the apple wallet from the app. There’s a section to add to apple wallet in the app and after I accept the terms of agreement it says to contact money network due to unable to add . I had my money network card added to my wallet before in the old app please fix this issue.

No Apple Pay option in app. I lost my card in my car and need to access the money on my card and the option to add my card to Apple Pay through the app is now gone now that it updated!!! Now I don’t know what to do! That option says it’s an option in menu but there’s not button or option once you click the tab definitely need to bring back the one click button to add our cards to Apple Pay!!

I would give zero stars.. I can’t seem to login to the account without and error message popping up. Then its says call so i do. Nobody comes to the phone within the 20 minute time limit that im given. Then i tried the call me back solution. and they call back and im still on hold. Terrible service. I didnt ask for this card only because i knew there were gonna be trouble with the card and the custom service. but it was given to me by my employer anyways.

Can’t even get in. I just got my card and was trying to set up an account but it keeps showing issues with the security questions. Not the answers, the questions themselves. I have tried multiple but it keeps saying there is an issue no matter which one I choose. It’s just whichever I put as the first security questions it shows an an issue, but if I put it as the second there’s no issue with it. I can’t even sign in to check my account.

Over it. Sometimes it will say Declined when I try to swipe my card and I have money. Other than that it’s great. But now it won’t let me sign in because I need to have the “lastest version” but I deleted the app and got it back and it’s still saying the same. I’m bout over the card and app at this point.

MoneyNetwork debit visa. It’s too hard to get a hold of somebody you cannot even understand first off, this card is a joke it charges you when you don’t use it, and it charges you when you do use it, and when you call to get information on why nothing is working on the app they need to know all of the information related to your card when they can’t even answer a question!

Off to a bad start. I got a California Middle Class Tax Refund Debit card and this app is supposed to work with the account. I got part of the way through setting things up with the app but it would not accept my perfectly valid email address. I am hoping it is only because my account is brand new and it needs more time to be processed.

Can’t transfer money to external bank. Another reason why the government fails what they do. Instead of just giving us the money as a direct deposit they have to contract a company to create an app that doesn’t work. I can’t even transfer money to my bank account. An error that says I don’t it’s an invalid withdrawal amount no matter what amount I put in. Then the only support is to call. Please fix this!!!

scam company. i couldn’t even log in with the app because it blocked me from verifying my email. this company is a clear scam and why corporations use it to pay their employees i have no idea. they originally sent my card to the wrong location (a building that is still under construction so there would be no mail drop off) and when i told them they double charged the resending fee. trying to get access to my paychecks is no use either because the automated number tells me there’s an error and hangs up before i can enter in my information. if you use this company as a third party payment for your job please consider switching to direct deposit, i understand it’s not easy opening a bank account to do that however in the long wrong it will cost much less money and effort.

Logging in. Ive nevet had issues for the 2 years ive used money network but since the recent update I cannot log in & its irritating because why update when its nothing better about it. If anything they just made it worse it was working fine how it was.

New Update. Unfortunately I’ll have to find a new bank. I’ve used this app for years through my work because I love seeing my upcoming deposit amount and getting paid a day early. Apparently that’s not a feature anymore? Also, the app has made me verify my identity EVERY single time I log in..although I shouldn’t have to log in at all? You now have to log in because the amounts don’t update. Bye Money Network.

Horrible customer service. My mom just called me and the representative that helped her was rude and didn’t want to help. She said he kept sighing and smacked his lips like he was annoyed with her calling. She’s needed help but he made her feel like she was a burden. There’s no where to file a complaint for that rep but it’s unacceptable. I hope no one treats his parents or elders that way. Money network, you need to pull that call and coach your rep on how to take a call and how to treat others with respect!

Worst update ever. Ever since the new update this app has become A HORRIBLE experience. It’s always freezing and I can’t access my own money. It’s not updating my account when my job pays me. I just absolutely hate this app now. Whatever you guys did to this app needs to be fixed because it’s not working properly I have to uninstall the app every time I want to get an update on my account and sometimes that doesn’t even work !!! Fix it fix it fix it !!!!!!!!

Deposit funds. Why can I no longer deposit check funds?? Ive had same account for years. I never had an issue til now. What happened?? Why can we no longer deposit. Its not right. We shouldn’t be going backwards

This was great.. at first.. I thought it was cool after I got this app to keep track of my spending and transactions. Little did I know, once it signs out, you’ll never get back in. Even if your security answers are correct. Now I’m locked out of my online account on this app and I literally don’t have the time to be waiting 25 mins or more over the phone for them to fix this. But this is a issue that needs to be fixed otherwise, I’m going to another bank.

Not liking the updated app so far. Old app the account balance updated immediately, this one does not and it takes a few tries to get signed in to be able to get the account to reset and show the correct current balance. Very sluggish, will be nice once the bugs are worked out if they get worked out

Frustrated. Only able to sign in once and only with one card... then after I did... it won’t show the card # so I don’t know which card I signed in with and I have 2 cards activated. There is no way to have multiple cards on this app or to ADD a card a different # to watch card balances. Frustrating because I want to see my balance on both cards and see what the charges have been but can’t. you only get a one time chance with one set of #’s... Not fair

The new update. This app have issues when you try to login it states it’s a issue call number on back of the card. I have money network for a very long time this is a first with the mobile app. Horrible I can’t move the funds from my piggy bank to available funds because the error issue I log in on the internet it don’t have that options to that around. Please fix

garbage trash etc. Whoever had the grand idea of upgrading the app. Hope you never have a stable relationship in your life. Glad to get that out of the way. Secondly, Costumer service never answers. Keep getting logged out. I put my card info to be able to get in my account. I’ve seen the rest of the reviews as to how ridiculous the upgrade is. Even roblox can make better upgrades than this and that says a lot cause roblox glitches 24/7. This review is me being reasonable btw.

Works Well. I haven’t had any issues, and once I got to understanding how it works, I really love it. I think it’s an awesome feature to be able to move money to your piggy banks and not have the risk of spending it when purchasing items.

Never had an issue with the app. The app has never failed me but calling in I’d give a 4 star due to it being transferred to overseas while being located in USA but the do answer and help asap. Other than that the piggy bank and direct deposit idea is perfect for what I have set up. Great for me!

Nope!!!!. Card stolen on Friday. New one issued by employee. 7 business days later balance from stolen card still not transferred to new card. Average 30 mins hold time to be replaced on hold and hung upon without resolution after 2 hours. I can’t even access the only money I have. I’m the victim yet still am being harmed by these schylocks. steadily running up credit cards to survive. Stay as far from this company as you can. Would give 0 stars if possible.

The questions. I got this card from my work place and when I went to go set up the account and make a new user, I put in all my information and when I got to the security questions, I picked them out and entered the answer but it kept showing a red exclamation point next to it. I kept clicking on it to see what was wrong, but it wouldn't let me. So I tried different questions and it did the same thing

Password Autofill Issues. I have very few issues with this app but one problem that has been plaguing the previous update is the password autofill feature. The problem: autofill works… then the field wipes the password immediately. Naturally this makes transfers in a pinch obnoxious, and slows down how I pay with the card.

It’s Not As Bad As These Reviews. The app is just fine now that they’ve added mobile deposit back. It’s a cleaner look than before that feels almost like a major bank app. There are some features missing like check reordering but otherwise it functions just fine.

App update… :(. This new app update isn’t letting me log into my account at all… at first I got logged in but the whole screen was black so I exited the app and re entered it in and now it just doesn’t do anything when I try to log in, I’ll click log in and nothing at all happens…. I tried to find like a way to get help with it via the app but I couldn’t find anyway to do that….

New Update. So I never update the app cuz it works fine so regrettably .I decided to try the update because who knows maybe it’s faster and has some new things ? So I update it and now the app doesn’t even work I either get a black screen that does nothing or the sign in button just doesn’t work. Terrible just terrible and I ordered a new card a month ago so now I have no access to my funds but at least the app is orange now yay.

Anxiety Through the Roof. I haven’t even opened this stupid card and I already have anxiety over it. I tried telling my employer I wanted direct deposit and he gave me this dumb money network card and I accidentally input this card as my direct deposit and I couldn’t change it back. Please take this form of payment off the face of the earth, it’s giving me anxiety just thinking about not getting my money I work for.

Need Chip. I had a hard time renting a car because no chip in card. They don’t have chip cards I was told. Also needed to withdrawal a large amount of money but couldn’t unless I had there check or access to another bank account then I was looking at 2 days.

Honest review. Honestly the apps ok enough, I got logged out with the new update, customer service was difficult to reach and a little rude but over all my issue was fixed, I’ve notice in a lot of reviews there has been issues logging in, and I pray I don’t encounter those, I have hopes for improvement, there is still a chance for redemption

STEAL YOUR MONEY NETWORK aka Rip Off. They charge you for maintenance fee five dollars they make it extremely impossible to get into your account with the app the customer service is crap they charge you for a card when it gets stolen they take care for your money when you direct deposit from a mobile check. If your money gets lost or stolen don’t worry they’ll take it from you they pretend to dispute it when they do nothing at all go to “CHIME BANK” that’s a real banking service that cares.
