The Game is Great, But....... This is one of the best games of all time and the port is a decent one. But there is a very irritating bug and UI problem that needs to be addressed. The bug involves the quick save function. Occasionally it will set your saved location to right as the party is wiped. So you’ll load your save to a dead party, your previous quick save being gone. This caused me to have to redo sometimes 40 minutes of time. For a console/pc game that’s irritating, but for a mobile game that’s down right frustrating. After a few instances of this I gave up the quick save and used the regular saving. The UI issue has to do with selecting things. It can be a little frustrating clicking on parts of the screen trying to actually select what you want. I’d be cool if there was a way to cycle through selectable things in the environment like in the console/pc versions. I can’t really think of an easy way to implement this, but it’s something to consider.

HOW TO FIX GLITCHES! IPHONE!. I played this game and some of the glitches really aggravated me. No sound at all. Or maybe just music no action or footstep sounds. Not being able to continue the missions because I couldn't get Dialog with any NPC/AI. I actually had to restart and delete my save because of this! Until I found out! Just save your game. Exit out. Double click your home screen button so the app shows up. Slide your app to close it. And start the game again. GLITCHES gone! And after a certain point they rarely resurface! When you exit out of the game the KOTOR app is still open! You need to end the application completely to reset glitches. And to think at first I was resetting my iPhone every time! Hah! Hope this helps! KOTOR for life!

It’s a great game, on PC probably. I tried and tried to have patience with the controls on this game and finally gave up. You know that you need to stop playing a game when you’re spending more time frustrated than actually enjoying the game. I made it to Tatooine and finally lost my mind over the controls enough to quit. It’s just not easy at all on an iPhone to do what needs to be done without constantly clicking the wrong items. And accurately controlling the Swoop Bikes? You can totally forget that. I can’t tell you how many times I started dialogue with my own team by mistake, opened doors that I did not want to open yet, walked back and forth several times just to search remains or other treasures, or went full Leroy Jenkins into a fight when I took several minutes to set up exactly what I wanted my party to do at the start of the fight. It’s infuriating and I regret purchasing this game, even tho I can tell that it’s a very cool game otherwise, on PC I guess.

Please make the second one!!!. This game is fantastic. It immerses you into the Star Wars (expanded) universe and makes you feel like a real Star Wars character. The plot f the story is great, and though I haven't quite gotten to the end yet, I hear the ending is spectacular. Every single character goes through character development (even the ones you don't care about). Keep in mind this is an RPG game (role-playing), so all you little kids out there buying this for the combat sequences, think again. For you peeps out there who played this on PC, it actually carried over quite well. The movement is surprisingly fluid, and all the controls work great with touch. Overall, I would highly recommend this game to all the Star Wars fans out there who simply need another outlet for awesome Star Wars universe stuff. Great game, my fav RPG of all time. Also: PLEASE MAKE THE SECOND ONE I BEG YOU. I don't know what I'll do after I finish this one...

One of The Best Star Wars Games Ever. I played this game over 10 years ago. To this date, even nearly 20 years later. It is still one of the best or the best Star Wars games ever made. The dialogue is written well. The characters are memorable. While the dice rolling combat is outdated by modern standards and somewhat clunky. Enough practice and you’ll get used to it. Even rarely today, does an RPG game have so much content. Dozens of dozens side quests to play and alternative story choices make replay value high so even beating this game once leaves so much content left to explore. To get the most out of this game, you need to complete it multiple times and even then you’ll still have not seen everything. Knights of the Old Republic is filled with well written characters voiced by the best actors in the industry. A compelling narrative that not only expands the Star Wars lore but more importantly respects it, easily more then the newer movies do. This is high quality Star Wars content. If you can look past the age of the game, you’ll be playing a your very own Star Wars movie.

One of the best rpgs of all time. This is incredibly smooth compared to pc, with noticeably less glitches. The story gets me every time and no matter how much I want to go dark side, the light story always pulls me in. I played this as a kid and I am playing it now, much to my satisfaction and challenge, trying to find the best character builds. The touchscreen interface gets a little annoying but ultimately it runs really smooth except for the swoop mini games (with some early saves and reloads is no problem and if you're a real G you got it). 10/10 would recommend and I'm really glad it's available on mobile so many years after the initial release. Only bugs I had were my NPCs getting stuck behind here or there and when I switched to find out where they were I would switch back to the main and they would return to me and then run over to where I was. Just slightly annoying when trying to run to a different area. Great game though, great interface and just as much fun as it used to be

😔Not Enough People Appreciate This😔. I feel like every person Thea days has their mind wrapped around Darth Vader, Master Yoda, and other things that are new and therefore “relevant”. I love how you took underrated comics about the Old Republic and transformed it into an amazing game that is available to everyone! After playing the game for the first time, I found some Old Republic comics online and your game perfectly summed up the story of Revan! And I also love how you allowed us to learn about people know a lot about. Your game made me want to dig deeper into the older Star Wars stories. I’ve read polls from the public and everyone overlooks the feats and power of these characters from your game. Some people said that Darth Revan couldn’t use dark side powers like Darth Sidious could, but I know for a fact that Revan had full knowledge of the dark and light sides of the force. He didn’t only summon force storms, but he made tornadoes out of them! I know that isn’t as powerful as destroying a whole planet with the force like Sidious and Nihilus did, but have you seen anyone use the force to make a lightning tornado? I know I might be getting to deep into battles and controversy, so I’ll end it right here. Overall this game is amazing and though it was made 11 years ago, it is still fun and exciting to play!😁

I love it. This is honestly one of the few iPhone games that I can really enjoy. (Yes I know this was first a platform/ PC game). But honestly this is a really fun game that you will spend a good amount of time into. There is definitely a lot of replay ability in this game. I just finished it for the first time and so I can't wait to see how things can be different a second time. As a Star Wars fan I love the added lore despite it not being canon I still love it. The customization and different options are all there which is great. My only few things I didn't enjoy were. I felt that some of the companions were useless after getting Jedi companions I mainly stuck to them just because they had the force. I never used T3 except for one mission. And I barely used Canderous, Zalabar, Mission, and HK 47. I guess in another play threw I can see how it might be different. But yeah overall I love this game. I hope the devs can get the second game on here cause I would love that.

Like a needle in a haystack!. I want to start by saying that in my 17 years of playing games this masterpiece was completely unexpected for me as I am usually an fps gamer and dabble in a handful of rpg’s and I knew about KOTOR but never really have given the game a chance but when I played this game for the 1st time I was baffled with how the story draws you in and keeps you wanting more and then the 1 mechanic I can’t get enough of is the choice of the light/dark side of the force which has led me through 4 playthroughs already: the light side, the dark side, the light side to the dark side, and the most difficult dark side to light side. Anyways I see why this game is considered one of the best rpg’s in history

Well Made. Well made, excellent story, overall great game. (Love the plot twist) However, there are a couple things I would like to mention. First, there is a glitch where the game will manual save at your death - without any effort on your part. Meaning that you have to go back to the latest checkpoint, losing any previous manual saves. Second, in the final battle there is a glitch that if you destroy the left Jedi on the second deck, Malak will freeze and combat will cease. Third and final, the ending feels a bit…anticlimactic. Perhaps you could allow the characters to run around the sandbox world for a while, rather than just throwing in a cut scene. It makes you feel like you’re being punished for winning the game. Thank you for reading the review, this was an excellent game. I wish we had more rpgs like it. (Might I suggest a text based rpg made by the same people on Star Wars? Just an idea…)

Amazing. The best part of KOTOR is the story. I know it’s based off of a comic but there are multiple choices and the game can be played lots of different ways. The game is old so the graphics are a little dated but I think it’s made up for by gameplay and story. The main gameplay functions like dungeons and dragons with abilities and turns. The fighting never was boring and even after playing through it 3 times it still seems fun to do side quests and do things differently. The game somewhat buggy but it’s mostly able to be fixed by loading a save. Overall this game isn’t perfect but it definitely has charm and if you like Star Wars or even if it’s new to you I completely recommend this game.

Best of the Best. KOTOR is easily my favorite video game ever made. I’ve beaten it more times than I have fingers and toes. Even through my latest play through, I found 2 things I’d never experienced before. Can’t believe how well-developed and thought out this game was for its time. Probably going to play through the game one more time. For those looking for more of a challenge, set the difficulty to hard and don’t level up (except the first time they force you to on the Endire Spire to get to level 2) until you get to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. That’s my favorite way to play. The only downside is the touch interface. In most instances, it’s adequate, but there are annoying moments where you get locked into an action that you can’t cancel, or you do something you don’t want because the touch is overly sensitive. If it weren’t for the awkward moments from the touch, this would easily get 5* from me.

One of the best ever. It’s kind of sad how this game was made twenty years ago and it’s way way better that today’s Star Wars games. The case used to be, “make the game amazing and lots of people will buy it”, now it’s EA thinking hey people love Star Wars so let’s make a trashy game that costs 50 bucks, then force them to keep paying stupid micro transactions to make money. I have heard rumors that they are going to remake Star Wars KOTOR in 2020, I sure hope it’s not EA, because if it is they’ll ruin it just like they ruined battlefront. If they could make an open world game with decent graphics they wouldn’t need to have micro transactions at all because more people would buy the game. Screw you EA, the only people who like your games are 9 year olds who steal their moms credit card out of her purse. It ain’t just Star Wars games either that EA tries (fails badly) to make.

One of the greatest games of all time in the palm of your hand. This is a fantastic game, I would argue the greatest old school action RPG game of all time. This game has brought me endless joy over the years. This port is incredibly well executed and allows you to relive KOTOR in all its glory. (Port is of the pc version, minor technical variations). The swoop racing could REALLY use tilt control, and the lack there of makes some of the higher end races all but impossible, but between bioware owning the game and Disney owning star wars it's not gonna happen. The one caution I would have for you is to SAVE FREQUENTLY. Whenever you exit the app for more than a minute or so it will quicksave, and that can result in being stuck in a no win situation or continuing the game just to find out that your party is already dead. I understand why they chose to have the game quick save whenever you exit the app, but it does get a little annoying when you loose 30 minutes of gameplay because you needed to check Facebook. Also; anyone looking for the second one: get it on steam and find something in the workshop called the Sith Lords restored content mod. You will thank me.

Good port. Wonky controls.. It was a great port. Everything the pc version is, right on your smart phone or tablet. The only issue I had was the touch to move controls. In the pc version there’s a button that cycles through all visible interactive items/people. There isn’t one that I could figure out in this port. Trying to select lockers or plasteel crates that are side by side are obnoxiously difficult to select the right one. I’d go to move my character and would endlessly accidentally click one of my squad mates initiating a conversation. Pretty annoying stuff. Besides that a classic game on your phone is pretty great. If it’s your first time playing would recommend playing the pc or even PlayStation or Xbox version if you can find it. Very nostalgic for people who have played before, while on the go.

it’s a great game. as i’m writing this i’m still currently playing the game. but so far from what i’ve played (which is around 12 hours or so) it has a great story and good characters and mediocre voice acting. and now if your wondering because of some of the one star reviews yes at first the controls are confusing but you get used to them, and also for the people who left one star reviews the swoop races where pretty easy, but the only hard things are when you have to shoot enemy ships down it’s kinda hard to do. and when i’m moving the camera to look another direction i accidentally sometimes talk to my teammates that i don’t mean to do which is fine because it’s my mistake but still. this game has also made me love starwars more then i actually used too, so this game is totally worth the 9.99. and once i beat the game the first time with the character i’m using now i’m gonna replay it but instead of being a jedi i’m going to become a site and see how that goes. and i know there is a second game too just not here on the app store so maybe you could release it for ios so the people who haven’t played the series (like me) can get what it’s like to play the second one. and the creators of this game should me lucky too because i never leave a review for games but this one.... this one deserves it. so keep up the good work and maybe you can get the second kotor game out soon? thanks for making this game for everyone to enjoy if they didn’t get to play the one from 2003

Just like how I remembered.. Alright so I’ve been debating on getting the mobile version of this game. But man am I glad I did. I’m honestly impressed, I’ve played it on the console many times and it’s still my all time favorite Star Wars game. I will admit the controls are a little hard to get used at first but overall it’s great for mobile. I have an IPhone XR and the game runs smooth. I even feel like the graphics and gameplay are a little better for the mobile version compared to the original Xbox when I first played the game. I could be wrong it’s been so long since I played the console version but it’s close. Anyone reading the comments debating on getting the game. Go for it. It’s only 10 bucks come on you’d pay that getting snacks from a gas station. But overall great game and a great buy. If I could rate higher then 5 stars I would. Highly recommend giving it a try for all you Star Wars fans out there. 👍🏻👍🏻

Almost Perfect. I’ve played KOTOR 1 and 2 probably 15 times over — played it ever since I was a little kid. I saw that it came out on the iPad Pro, so I decided to buy it since I was bored at home over the break. It runs just like it does on the computer (maybe even a little smoother). This is one of the best games of all time, and is a steal compared to the $50-$60 games nowadays. The literal only complaint I have is that there did seem to be a small glitch that was a bit annoying. Every once in awhile, particularly after combat, my character would temporarily be unable to move. This had two reliable work arounds: letting my allies lead the party, or saving and reloading. I also noticed that using Force Speed or other force powers occasionally fixed this glitch, but probably at a 60/40 chance. Although this was minor and I figured out a solution, it was annoying. I am tempted to take it down a star, but I feel like because that would mislead people about the game — it’s totally worth the money, and trust me, KOTOR 1 and 2 on the computer are far glitchier than on the iPad, so this is perhaps an improvement.

NO UPDATES FOR OVER 2 WHOLE YEARS!. It’s really a crime when an app that costs as much as $10 just to download has completely stopped maintaining the game to work smoothly with the current operating system on your device! Players really hate it when developers put out such an intense game that has a lot of interaction that relies on working properly with the current updates to iPhones and iPads and then they just desert the game completely to lie in an un-attended to dust pile of un-cared about maintenance and updates! Not to mention that after two whole years of spending so much on a game, the game gets stale, with no new twists, features, characters, weapons or just polished up update and bug fixes which a lot of people are complaining about! When developers stop supporting a game for this many years that’s when it’s definitely time for customers to not purchase it and those who already have to delete it from their devices in anger over how much they wasted on a game that the developers have left to rot!

Bugs. Great game overall, this is the first time I've played it again in many years. But the iPad adaptation is not perfect. The biggest issue I noticed while playing is that the kiss scene at the end with Carth is completely gone. The dialogue is there, but doesn't approach you. He just stands there. I haven't romanced Bastila yet so I could say about her, but I couldn't help feeling a little upset that I didn't get any payoff for all that whining I had to put up with. The other issues are minor, like that all water is invisible except on Manaan and the Unknown Planet. A couple cylinders on the Unknown Planet caused my character to have a seizure when I tried to open them. There was a lot of lagging and skipping on Kashyyyk, (and on other planets, but to lesser extents) even after I turned off grass and shadows. If I wanted lag I would just go play Swtor. Also, the characters never sheathe their weapons. I can't remember if they did on the original version, but it looked really weird to carry them in hand the entire game. That's all I really encountered bug-wise, but these did hamper my RPG experience more than I would have liked. Please fix these issues.

Glitchy. I have played this numerous times on my iPad, maybe the IOS 16 changed the game, but now the glitches have tripled. I’m currently in a place where I have 3 in my party and I have to switch between each of them to move. They get stuck and they won’t move. Won’t respond to anything. Save and save often, not the quick save either because the quick save is garbage. Players will not move during battle. Yes, I have that toggled on. So my player walks right up in the face of the Gamorean and gets whacked by his axe and dies quickly instead of standing back and shooting from a distance like they are supposed to. Glitchy glitchy. This game has been on mobile for a few years now and people are still paying for it, you have had the time and profits to fix these glitches. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate being able to waste a couple of hours on mobile, not having to drag my PC out, but the amount of frustration pushes it to the point where it isn’t worth it. Keep working on it. You’ll perfect it eventually.

It's the best dang SW Game ever made. If you love Star Wars, or even if you just kinda like Star Wars, do yourself a favor and get this game. I've played through this game dozens of times on my original Xbox, and once or twice on my phone, and I still regard this as one of my all time favorites. Now sure, the graphics are dated as heck. But it's still fantastic! The story is more than worthy of its own movie, with a twist that is easily one of the most mind blowing things I've seen. The characters are very well written and serve to enhance the overall experience. It does use a kind of turn based combat system, but it's a system that gets more enjoyable as the game progresses (i.e. As you get more powers and abilities). Even as old as it is now, I still consider it to be one of the best out there.

The Game Apple Arcade Should Model After. It’s exactly what you think, the classic Star Wars game we all loved on Xbox brought to your Apple devices! It has all the quirky glitches that you remember, but as long as your device is taken care of and up-to-date it runs relatively smooth. There are even some features that were added/added back in from the original idea in this version which are pretty great. Considering Disney won’t likely reboot these games anytime soon, unless future trilogies go back to this point in time, Apple would be wise to make games like this in the coming Apple Arcade! Anyway, if you have not played this game, it’s probably one of the most well written RPG style games ever made. Don’t believe me? Google it. The playability, the amount of different side quests, the routes you can take in the storyline, and the twists and turns with in the story as a whole are just incredible. Still to this day one of my favorite games.

Great..Fantastic..EXCEPT. Where on earth is the tutorial for the space mini game? I just escaped Tauris and can't get past the space ship battle. Can't save it...can't use medpacs or fuel or ammunition or repair kits for the ship. I am not the best at battling and can't get past this so what about players like me who need options? Or a tutorial. I play using my iPad and up til now have loved it. Please what can I do as I also can't find any help on utube or other forums. Please....I paid for this game and need better instructions or tutorials. Or if this is a game glitch what will you do about it? Can't believe you even have a battle mini game with no other options if it is too difficult for those of us with limitations but to reload the saved game and keep trying and dying over and over and over again..what are you thinking??????

Don’t even know where to start. Never did I expect to be completely sunk into an app the way I did this game. After 22.5 hours my story was over, all I wanted to do was restart it. Cannot recommend this game to someone enough. Starting the second one tonight. Unfortunately not available on mobile as of yet. But if you’re slightly interested in this it’s well worth the $9.99 for any Star Wars fans. I grew up playing Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas and was never able to go back to games made in the early 2000s but believe me when I say it was a joy to play through this game that’s nearly 18 years old now. Incredible job with the port as well. I experienced close to no issues. Some mapping issues when trying to walk but nothing to write home about. Now quit reading my review and pick it up for yourself and get lost in this true Star Wars story.

Still my favorite game ever, but not perfect. Playing this game on my phone has reminded me of how much I adored this game when it came out. I don't have any way to play my old copies, Xbox 360 doesn't work well and no pc, so I had to go out and buy this game for a third time. The nostalgia is definitely there, which causes me to play for far longer than I have time to. The story is as great as it ever was and for the most part the game runs smooth, with combat not being as bad as I thought it would be. But there are definitely problems. Touch screen control works well but is still not the best for this game, especially when playing on a phone and your finger covers your character. The bugs of the original are still prevalent, such as music randomly stopping and having to reload a save or your party members just not following you for a bit and then having to wait a few minutes for them to catch up. It begs the question; why didn't the team porting it try to fix on and improve these things? Overall it's a great game for people to pick up and play again. Though I wish there was a way to get some of the modded things in, I.E. robes with the hood up. And it may feel dated to someone who constantly plays new games. But the story and gameplay is definitely worth $10.

Great idea for a great classic game!. I have this game for the original Xbox. I got it from the Blockbuster that used to be near me when they were Phasing out the original Xbox games for the Newly (at the time) Xbox 360. I have a few Xbox games from Blockbuster. I miss Blockbuster so much that when Target Had an officially Licensed Blockbuster shirt they were selling there... I Bought It Immediately... Hey Devs... when are you going to release Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords. I would Gladly Pay $9.99 For that like I did For the First Knights of the old Republic. Great Job Porting Such a Timeless Classic to iOS. Like I said Would like to See a Port of Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords. P.S. I also Have KOTOR II The Sith Lords On PC. 10 out of 10 Would Recommend The iOS Version to Anyone who Doesn’t Have the Original Xbox, PC or Mac Version of this Game. I didn’t know There Was A Mac Version of this Game until I saw it at the Thrift Store Nearest Me. By The Way Devs... You Rock 🤘🏻 Sincerely, Corbin (Corbinator) Christensen

Excellent Rendition!!!. Absolutely loved this game from the day it was released, have played it and the sequel on my original xbox and on my pc more recently. Loved the ability to have one of my all time favorites in the palm of my hand! Really only hate the mini games but what’re you gonna do it’s touch screen so no really complaints. On that note I’m sure i’m not the only one who feels this way(strong reason i’m writing this review at all)but you guys have to port The sith lords over to ios like you did the first one. Would easily pay $10 again when the game is going for like $2 on steam. Where Kotor has the classic star wars odyssey feel to its story, kotor 2 is so much darker and grittier. With the recent release of rise of skywalker and talk of good and bad/ light and dark i’m sure everyone would love the chance to play what many people considered the better of the two again but on ios and even those who’ve never had the good fortune of playing would probably be thunderstruck over a star wars rpg of such depth and proportion. Again, this was a great port of a greater game. Loved it.

Mostly very good. Alright, so first and foremost the controls for when you’re shooting the little fighters while leaving a planet is bad. You can either turn or shoot, but not both at the same time while playing on the iPhone 10 Xr. If you remember the trick where you shoot immediately as they show up, you’re going to take out a decent number. It’s a little hard to see them against the background of space too. Now with that said, I’ve not found any other issues and find this to be quite a pleasure to play. If you enjoy playing KOTOR, get this game for your mobile device. I personally think that the game looks quite good on the phone too. Highly recommended, super easy to pick up and play whenever then pause/exit as needed.

Bad Ending And Lots Of Glitches. The entire game is awesome I love it but the ending is just boring you know you complete the game and that’s it nothing else no free roam afterwards no nothing just ends I find it kinda boring all that build up and END I like to free roam a little bit after I complete a game not just have it end and that be it you know but the rest of the game is completely awesome and I am not going to delete it any time soon there probably just needs to be a free roam after completing the game update. There are also lots of glitches in the game though like characters won’t fire, frozen screen, aiming for the guy I didn’t tap on, won’t auto save, characters doing weird things like wandering off, walking back and forth for no reason, moves when not even touching the screen and more, dying when not even hurt, skips dialog when don’t even touch the screen, and even more and that is why there needs to be a bug fix update.

Absolutely amazing game.. I’ve heard so many positive things about this game, so I decided to have a try. Wow... 50 hours of gameplay in and I’m weeping over my tablet because this game is so rich & rewarding, so enlightening and challenging. It forces you to make real moral choices, think strategically & in a very “Jedi” manner to successfully accomplish battles and tasks. This game was so well put together and fun to play on my iPad Pro. I decided to follow the path of light, and it was such a fun and emotional journey. It’s very much like a book, where you become emotionally invested in the characters and their growth. I highly recommend this game and hope they release the sequel for iOS at some point. I am so eager to play it because of how addicting this one was. Knights of the Old Republic now goes down as one of my all-time favorite games, hence why I rushed to leave this raving review. 😃

Not bad but needs some patches. I’m so excited to be able to play this again. It’s crazy to think how far we’ve come in twenty years. The game is almost exactly how I remember it. The problems come with the bugs. For some reason the game will corrupt at random times and I won’t be able to engage dialogue. I select the characters but nothing happens. And when that happens you’re screwed because a lot of the game requires you to do this or you can progress so once that happens hopefully you saved because it’s back to the last time you did a standard save. No kidding I made the mistake of depending on the auto and quick save and my file was corrupted so badly that I had no choice but to go to the manual save file which had been an hour and a half prior. That’s a lot of time wasted for a buggy system. Worse still when you have that in the back of your mind while playing it. Don’t get me wrong it’s worth a play through and it’s a miracle of the modern age to be able to play this on my phone but it definitely needs a few bugs worked out. If you’re gonna put the cash down to get it I recommend saving your game often and being ready to have to restart due to this bug. Other than that it’s a good time.

Do not buy.. I’m a huge fan of the KotOR series, I’ve played this game several times across many platforms, and this is by far the worst iteration. Not only have the somehow managed controls more clunky and unfriendly to the user than an original Xbox controller, it’s actually buggier than the launch version. Have fun putting ten hours into a character only to have the game glitch out and not register your attacks for 30 seconds. Another insanely frustrating bug is the “quick save feature” the game will randomly preform quick saves, often right as your entire party is killed, meaning if you didn’t manually save you’ll have to restart wherever the last auto save was, which will cost you hours. This is a 17 year old game recently ported to mobile. You’d expect improvements not more bugs than the original release that’s now almost old enough to vote. Save your $10 and avoid it. If you’re really set on playing this game, go with the steam version.

It’s AMAZING but..... I LOVE this game. It has always been one of my all time favorites and I was so happy to see it come out for Mobile I bought it right away with no regrets. Since I’ve gotten it I’ve played through it 5 times already and working on my 6th. The one and ONLY complaint that I have, and you may laugh when you read this, is that on the console version there’s a button you can push to cancel an action during battle, however when you use that button outside of battle your character twirls their Melee weapon around or activate their lightsaber(s) and twirl them around. Whenever I’d be running towards by next objective I’d spam that button just to pass the time, watch the lightsabers twirl lol, and usually after a battle I’d push the button as sort of a victory dance. I was so bummed to find out that you can’t do that in the mobile version. ALMOST to the point where I didn’t want to play the game at all, but it’s so hard to pass up the greatest story in Star Wars lore. If they were to implement that button into mobile I’d change review to 5 stars in a heartbeat. Other than that though it’s still the same great game that it’s always been and I love every second of it. Should someone from Disney happen to read this DO NOT turn KOTOR into a movie, cause it will be forever ruined. Thank you. Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Great so far. Just got off the Endire Spire and so far so good. This is a port of a fairly old game so people complaining about graphics need to understand that, I actually think it looks better on my iPad Air than it did on Xbox or PC. To those complaining there is too much reading... kids this is how old school RPGs were before everyone became ADHD or drinking too much flouride. They didn't hold your hand on every little thing. have some curiosity, explore your interface, you can figure this out. I like it so far. Only real complaint is movement is a little clunky. I would have preferred some type of joystick for left thumb instead. Otherwise it seems to function pretty well. Another bit of old school advice, Save Early and Save Often! Do not rely on autosave. I have always used TWO different saves, alternating each time just in case I got myself into a bad spot and needed to reload farther back. Just do it, you can thank me later. As a fan I'm glad to have another chance to play KotOR and relieved that it was done well enough to enjoy. May the 4th be with you!

An amazing iOS version. I personally surprised this game works as well as it does on iOS, however there have been some bugs. The first of which I noticed was after obtaining the swoop engine. You can’t interact with anything and going to a different save save load doesn’t help. I did fix this by saving the game, exiting, then closing it out, then entering again. Its a long process but it works. Another minor bug was with the mini games. Okay this is the most frustrating bug. (ENDING SPOILER WARNING) While fighting Malek I went ahead of him and took the life force from the Jedi before he did and he immediately stopped and his health bar turned blue as if he was a character you could interact with. Except he was stuck. (The next part is SPOILER FREE) my only previous save was AN HOUR EARLIER I was so mad I almost gave up but I didn’t and I ending up finishing the game. But at the end of the credits I realized I couldn’t go back and do the side quests I hadn’t done later. I was so frustrated. But I recommend going through the game and making save loads at the end of each planet then you can go back and do the side quests.

Yeah yeah yeah. It's pretty sad how buggy this thing is, I've started saving my game after every encounter. Can't start the swoop race because I can't select the announcer and obviously can't get out of the hall because you have to race at this point. Sketchy controls was a bummer too. Having the ability to play knights on the go seemed like a no brainer and the reviews are great. Sometimes I wonder about the weight of those reviews. Visually it's perfect, sometimes the sound is off. If I can get through this app I will have gone thru KOTOR more times then I have fingers.. I'd rather dust off the OL BOX and bring this game back to life. I'll consider the 5 dollars I spent on this app a donation for the wonderful years the StarWars franchise has given me. Update: 2 days after 1st review. Restarted a new game, got the accelerator and the "can't interact with anything" bug kicks on.. about an hour of gameplay before the bug originally happen. Restarted a new and the bug kick on when I first got to the under city. After deep research it seems the only way to fix this is to save your game a lot, A LOT. Restarting while the game is open does not help. This is one of my favorite rpgs ever but not on iOS. It's garbage on iOS. Before buying read as many reviews as you can. THIS BUG HAS HAPPEN TO MANY PEOPLE. It would be nice if this bug can get fixed.. anything with the starwars name is making fat cash so I don't think this request is too far fetched.

Great Game, Great Idea for iOS. I have played KOTOR through so many times over the years that I basically have everything memorized, and this iOS version works surprisingly well. It’s crazy to me that my phone has way more pixels than the computer monitors this game was built for. The gameplay is pretty perfect for the necessarily clumsy touchscreen controls, as combat has an iconic built-in pause mechanic. I’m really excited that a new generation of gamers will get to experience one of the best games of all time, and on their phones to boot. KOTOR 2 (bug-fixed mod version) next? *HOWEVER*, the reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is the mini-games: specifically the star-fighters and the swoop races. In the star-fighter mini-game, you can’t move the turret and fire at the same time, which is horrifically bad porting, and will make flying from planet to planet gradually more annoying as the game progresses. The swoop races also need a total overhaul, as they were hard on PC controls, let alone on a touchscreen. There are PC mods out there that make the tracks easier, though I’ve never had to use them on that platform. I definitely want to use them on this one.

Fantastic game. Update: finished the game! AWESOME!! I can't say how fantastic each level is, they are all GREAT! And EPIC ending, EPIC characters and story. Definitely continue playing kotor2 on pc. Only 1 complaint: how come I can't loot Marlak's body and continue playing after the game is beat? =========== I play tons of blackisle and bioware games. But I missed this one. Heard it's great long time ago, and now I get the chance to play it on the mobile phone. Awesome. Although the control is funky per today's standard, it's tolerable. Mainly is about the game itself, very fun, attractive story, classic system. ONE thing and ONE big thing to complain: where the h**k is the STOP button that was there since Baldur's gate?? It's so easy to click by mistake and issue wrong command, and there is just NO way to stop the stupid character from doing it: e.g., walk up and talk to another person, most annoying one. Attack in stealth mode, enemy too far, want to cancel but the character just stubbornly walks into the ambush. FIX THIS!

Wonderful PC game becomes wonderful Mobile Game. A superb, if slightly dated Star Wars RPG exploring an unfamiliar era of the Star Wars universe, The Old Republic. Full of interesting characters, clever plot twists, and big decisions, this game enthralled me for a good 20 hours on my first, light side play through, and for another 20 as I did a full dark side play-through. Now, the game is rather old, and it will show sometimes. However, the graphics are absolutely fantastic for a mobile game of this size, and the delightful quirkiness that comes with its age only help cement its place in my and many other people's hearts as one of the greatest RPGs in history. So, if you're a gamer, definitely give it a go. If you aren't a gamer in a classic sense... well, honestly, this could be the game to get you into it. It has a bit of a learning curve, but the controls and interface are quite intuitive for a mobile port. Think Baldur's Gate but done right. Once you figure it out, it is probably the most rewarding gaming experience on IOS.

Unexplainable. As the title says this game is unexplainable it might be because this is one of the first games I ever played but it’s just so good the feeling you get when you play it is one you won’t find anywhere else it’s just something else I played this beautiful game about 20-25 times and I can say from the very bottom of my heart it is the greatest game of all time I played many great games but none like this the story is amazing I hope they make a remake but even if they do nothing will ever be like this game my recommendation is to obviously 110 percent buy this game but also buy it for some kids who are getting into video games at about 10 years old so it stays with them forever in there hearts I also said in the title unexplainable if you play it you will fall in love with it like nothing else and bye the way this got me into Star Wars in the first place first I thought start wars was cringe and for nerds but after playing this game I fell in love with start wars of course I think this game is wayyyy better than the Star Wars movies But everyone please just hear me out it makes me very sad that many many people have not played this game Please for 5 dollars this is amazing it’s impossible for you to not be that into it or in any way dislike it sure it’s old and the graphics aren’t the best but that’s not the point the real point is the story thank you for reading this I hope you enjoy the game peace out my friends

An All-Time Favorite, PLEASE bring back -KOTOR 2- PLEASE. If you never played this on the original Xbox, love Star Wars and love a great RPG, well my friend you are in for one hell of a treat! I bought this when it came out over a decade ago, and I still love. This game is worth every penny. Please someone find it in their heart to re-release the 2nd game, I refuse to die until I play it again! I will not rest until my dream becomes a reality! Give me the power I beg of you! Oh and don't be thrown off by bad reviews, there from children. The only, and I mean only problem with the game is, the swoop racing controls are extremely difficult to master. But luckily there's only one race you HAVE TO do, the others are optional and will not mess up your experience at all.

A very clunky version of an epic game. I wish I could write a better review of this game is this is one of the best RPG games in history. But it just doesn’t seem to work on the iPad. The interface is very clumsy and frustrating. You end up opening and encountering things you don’t want to because of how the touchpad interface is ser up. Even if stationary, your finger ends up running across items that you don’t want to interact with yet and it really ruins the game. Add to that: Malak is, essentially, unbeatable on this version. None of the techniques that work on the PC version gain any ground on the iPad. I spent hours researching ways to beat Malka, I’ve watched videos and he behaves completely differently on the iPad than he does on the PC. He will always end up killing you no matter what you try to do. This was, perhaps, my most disappointing experience with an iPad game since I so much enjoyed playing on the PC. I was going to purchase KOTOR II next because I never ended up finishing it. But there’s no way I would do that now.

BEST GAME ON THE APP STORE. ***UPDATED I first played this game back in 2003 when it was released for first-gen Xbox and I promise you this is the most impressive case of a console game being ported, not only to Apple IOS, but in all mobile gaming. This game has one of the better narratives in Star Wars lore, and this KOTOR game and it’s sequel are considered one of the undisputed best RPG series of all time. And GUYS. They did such a good job porting it! It’s exactly how I remember it. - The cutscenes, the save-anytime feature, the roll-based combat system (it’s weird at first if you’ve never played a game like this but it becomes natural and fun very quickly). Even the speedracer mini games are there! And very few bugs, almost none. I know it’s been here a while but IT’S SO GOOD. Thank you for continuing to update/support it.

The Glitch in the Enclave.. To: Aspyr Media, Inc. In my resent play-through of my game, I noticed a bug in the entrance of the Jedi Enclave. I was using my main character fighting NPC's away from the enclave grounds, and I switched characters to my Utility Droid. Immediately I noticed My droid was away from the combat zone, and somehow on the side of the upper level entrance of the enclave, in an out of the map kinda scenario. I think somehow when I spawned in the outside area, my droid was rendered outside of the map, unable to move and effectively stalled from engagement. I took a picture to show what I mean. I personally have no problems with glitches in games, but I felt it best to let you know. Love the game by the way, on of my favorites, but you should really consider doing the second game Knights of the old republic 2. It has some of the best dialogue written for a game. It had greater gameplay and combat mechanics, and offered amazing elements unknown to games today. It was an all around superior game, and the fans of the series would love nothing more than for it to come back. If offered with the restored content, the game could be a great way to bring fans into the App Store. And if offered with the option to Mod the game, it would attract even more customers.

Absolutely amazing on iPhone 11. Thanks for this port!. Get this game, even on older iPhones. Not only is this one of the best rpgs of all time, this has to be one of the best games on this App Store, period. I have been playing this game for years and this mobile experience does not disappoint. I played this on my iPhone 6s and enjoyed it even with the frame rate drops. But on the iPhone 11, this game runs *almost as smooth as silk. There are bugs, don’t get me wrong. Every once in a while, the game stops taking inputs and has to be closed and restarted but not frequently enough for me to be bothered. I even enjoyed the swoop racing, which is definitely more difficult compared to a computer mouse but not impossible as I have completed every swoop challenge. This game is also one of the best Star Wars experiences out there. Re-experiencing the whole story between Revan, Malak, and Bastilla has gotten me over the disappointment of the sequel movies for the time being. And the fact you can choose your path either light vs dark with all of the consequences of your actions gives this game so much replay ability (I have played this game through at least 6 times at this point). Please port KOTOR II!! We all know it’s not as good but I’m dying for more good Star Wars content and would easily purchase it on mobile.

I want a refund! BROKEN AND-BUGGED. KOTOR is very buggy and borderline broken in its current state. I could hardly get through the tutorial because of freezing, poor touch registration, and other glitches. The game has a real hard time registering taps and freezes up at most doors. Please make this game playable again. (I’m playing on the iPhone 11, this may have something to do with it) When the game does freeze I can tilt my phone to make the screen slightly move. If I set my phone flat on the counter, these freezes do not happen. Something is wrong with how the game reacts to the the phone tilting and changing angles. Update: I made a new character to see if it would change things. While creating the character I was unable to get my taps to register during character creation. I had to restart a few times. When I finally made it through, I started the game and it froze during the cutscene where Trask enters through the door. I’m stuck staring at the door while the music plays and explosions go off in the background. I haven’t been able to even start the game.

Great port, could use some adjustments. KOTOR is most probably my favorite video game of all time, and this port is fantastic. My only two problems w/ the port is that it destroys your battery life, and the controls are interesting but can be hard to use when playing on a small screen. The game sometimes lags like when you're in the vulkar base, but that's not really that big of a deal in my opinion. I don't know if it's just me but I also can't enable shadows and all those lighting effects. My suggestions are to fix up the controls a bit, especially during the space and swoop bike parts, probably put an option for a virtual analog stick and an option to make the buttons bigger in combat. Overall, this is a great port of a great game, I'm really glad and happy that it's a mobile title now. I hope that it will only get better in future updates.

Worst controls, boring game. This game the worst I have played in a while..An all around disappointing experience, with subpar, controls where u can't correctly look around, nor walk the right way , always bumping into things, especially into a close partymember, . besides that all u do is walk around, having to read some extra long dialogue boxes bcuz most of the NPC's speak gibberish & have ALOT to say. U can't skip some cut scenes , & the game itself is very confusing . U don't get a explicit map (it only shows what u've discovered/visited & walked through.. The menu and UI are very large, difficult to use & causes too much confusions.. You are only taught how to move yourself and the cam ,and that's it.. Don't get me started on the FEW TIMES THERE WAS ANY ACTION ,and how infuriating the clunky, disastrous controls are. The worst part about this MESS that the devs concocted , (besides making such a bad game)' is the fact they have the nerve, the absolute GALL , to charge 9.99$ for this abomination of a game.. Do ur self a favor & please don't bother with this game... ur money, ur time, & even the device being used to play it ,are all worth way more than this game..

KOTOR 2. This game was my childhood! I love it. I play it over and over even though I have beaten several times. It's flawless on my iPhone! It's amazing. Runs better on my phone then it ever did on Xbox! I can't get enough of this game. But now I want to play the second. If you guys made the second one I would be the first in line to buy it. It would literally be priceless to me. Whatever the price and whenever you developers decide to put it out. I will be the first one to purchase it and continue my Star Wars adventure. Please please make the second one haha. This game is my game I play when internet isn't available. And in my line of work, being an army infantryman about deploy, this game is a must have. It's long and very fun. It never gets old. Please make the second one. And I will always support you guys. And if you have made other games that are similar let me know. But yeah, great job with this game. It's literally perfect! Thank you.

Amazing. Very good game it’s just could there be more content? I find I get really bored after completing the game the game is finished like completely finished you can’t play anymore and I find that disappointing could you also add more planets? Like planets with side quests and new scenery? Also when is Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 2 coming out?

Best game ever and always end on the light side it’s way cooler. I have lots and lots of. Fun playing this game and from experience always end in the light don’t kill Bastia sorry if I’m spilling some of it and there’s a awesome ending for the light and the dark has a very boring ending and please buy it it’s wort( every Cents but if I could price it I’d price to a tillion dollars and for free or same price

Best Star Wars game EVER. This game is brilliant and it has to be one of the best Star Wars games ever made. The way you can create a whole new Star Wars character and choose which path you want to go down is extremely AWESOME! I have no bugs to report but I was disappointed to see an add for Jade Empire after you finish the game in the credits. This was very saddening because you would have just finished one of the best Star Wars RPGs ever created, the first thing you see is a blasted add for Jade Empire. Please remove this add as it was very annoying. PS: Can you please bring KOTOR II out on iOS that would be fantastic. From your beloved buyer

the best game ever. ok look this is my first time playing this game and I already love it like it is just such a good game sure there’s a fue bug’s in it but every game has bug’s and I’m the biggest Star Wars fan ever and this game makes me even more of a fan

Amazing but flawed. In KOTOR it’s amazing but very very flawed in kasshyyyk at the star map if it’s wrong your star mapjust closes never ever to open again and there’s a glitch where none of the things you do work but other than that this game is great with amazing storyline and extra quests this game is the best rpg game I’ve EVER played -ham da man

Great game, worth the money but..... The game crashes on me at random points, I have to constantly save and if I don't I get set back to my last save. It is quite annoying but a game worth buying.

Amazing. I love this game but in the next update could you make it possible to continue playing even after you've defeated malak Thank you

Absolutely the best & is Life. Guys please bring more I have played already 10 times we need another from you ---- pleassssseee

I am a broken person. Have you ever been 2 seconds off of beating a swoop race and finding it physically impossible to beat that time?? 22:51 cannot be done on a touch screen. Someone prove me wrong. Someone tell me they have beaten my 22:53 time. Someone help me. Please amend the controls somehow. Please.

Amazing But Need more!!. Amazing Game, really fun, always playing it but... It's needs more! Maybe some more planets 4 new planets, larger cities to explore add that free roam aspect. In the end really love the game and I know it's an old game but I think everyone would love another Star Wars game like this keep that in mind.

Outstanding Game. This game was tremendous. I saw a lot of posts speaking about the controls and that one post about ‘you cannot flourish’. This is an option that can help. I often connect my Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller to my iPad via Bluetooth and it fixes this. The movement controls and the looking controls are separated, making it easier to run around, and you can flourish your weapons (L2 on mine).

If only there were more IOS ports like this. Amazing experience from the word go, a true classic and still worth it to this day.

Review and tip. Review: Love the game, had it for years now. Perfect SW adventure to ever be conceived. 10/10 Tip: In order to stop the “No talk bug” (where to can’t talk to anyone or even open quest related doors) you need to not even open the door to the Twielk that’s between the barracks and the exit on the main floor on the evil gang base on Taris.

Awesome game, LEGENDARY!. Love this game! Played it for the first time on iOS and fell straight into it. I have very fond memories of playing this game in my free time. Star Wars is such a great universe that so many people love, including myself and I feel like this game is definitely one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Probably my favourite iOS game or at least one of the tops. I've played this iOS version so many times now, I practically know every option and ending off by heart. I highly recommend purchasing it, regardless of how high the price is. I fully support and am hoping that Aspyr treats SWKOTOR II with the same ambition and ports that sequel to the iOS as well. Please Aspyr, you are our only hope!

Amazing for its time and now. It’s great, with some bugs but nothing game changing. It’s really amazing i completed the game 3 times on various different consoles now I’m trying on the IOS I don’t think anything else could ever beat it all and all think you should get it and if you played old games when you were younger you’ll love this

Great game. Like the title says it’s a great game sadly it is not the best platform for the game I struggled with the controls after having played this on both pc and consoles in the past. Personally I want a remake and more in games in the series with improved graphics and textures as it is starting to show its age.

Amazing, now what?. Just finished this game and it was awesome and amazing as all those years ago. But now what? I want more! Please bring the sequel, the Sith Lords, to my phone! I beg you! Also, a multiplayer mode would be amazingly epic!

Unresponsive team mates. I'm on the final fight. I have 3 team mates Each of them aren't doing anything, there just staring at a dark Jedi as it destroyed them. Also, my team isn't following me even though solo mode is off, fix it now!

Amazing, just not iPhone X compatible. The game is amazing, the mobile port is surprisingly good however it is not iPhone X compatible. It can still be played on the device however it just has black bars. Would love to see this fixed.

Y no lightsaber flourishes?. I love this game. Thanks Aspyr for your efforts. AirPlay from my iPhone to my AppleTV 4K, with my SteelSeries Nimbus mfi controller works a treat, and lets me relive my original KotOR experience...well almost. One of my favourite things on Xbox was to hit the Y button when I was running around. This made my avatar pull out his lightsabers and whoosh them around. So cool. I know it serves no actual purpose in the game, but I am still so sad this feature wasn’t retained in the iOS port. In fact I was sufficiently disappointed that I ended up going back to my old Xbox disc and playing the original just so I could flourish my dual wielding purple lightsabers once again.

Awesome. Just like I remember it.. Controls are a little hard to get used to but once you’re used to it, it is fine :). I recommend a a fire button for space battles though, those I can’t get used to

Great Port cant wait for 2. Never thought id play a game so much on my phone that I sometimes would just chill out in my lounge playing it instead of starting up a console or pc to play AAA games. Brings back the memories.

Awesome game. This game is exactly what i have always wanted, star wars, rpg and you can choose your own path. IT'S AMAZING, WHY AREN'T YOU PLAYING IT!!!? the only down side is the price, but for a game like this i think it's priced right.

Controller support!. Whilst it might not stand the test of time visually, I still think it has great gameplay and a fantastic story. The fact it now can be played on iOS using a PS4 controller is fantastic, it makes playing the game so much easier that using onscreen controls!

Best game, but.... One of the classics of Star Wars, brings a great storyline and is awesome how you choose who lives, who dies, light side, dark side, etc. But I need more. We need more. Please bring KOTOR 2 to the App Store. This would be awesome.

This is my type of dessert. Just to say, it has a great storyline, I’m a big fan of Star Wars and this just makes me an even bigger fan. Graphics pretty classic but I don’t judge that. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!!

I haven’t started. I have barely even played it I have just played the start and so far absolutely love it!!

Amazing game, but not a fan of the new update. I should let you know that, prior to this update, KOTOR has been one of my favourite games of all time. I just couldn't stop replaying it! But this new update seriously bogged the experience down. It has brought on many lags, slow animations, glitches where things turn invisible, and many more. With this new update, There is also this glitch where I speak to Chundaar on Kashyyk and he sends me to go to the shadowlands, I go on my way to the place where the elevator is down to the shadowlands, but there is a guard there that says I need to,speak to Chundaar before I'm allowed passed, so I go and speak to Chundaar, but another guard says that I can't speak to him until I go to the Shadowlands, so I go back on my way to elevator and the guard still says I need to speak to Chundaar. AAAAAAARRRGGHH!!!!! (P.s. Please bring KOTOR 2 on iOS)

Loved the original, love this version too.. An Excellent port of an Excellent game. Worth ever penny, and then some. If you like RPGs and Star Wars, this is one of the best... KTOR 2 Sith Lords is even better. Over the years, I’ve played both over a dozen times. Glad I it’s n my pad.

Love this game. I have always loved this game ever since playing on console. I absolutely enjoyed every second of this game and can not wait for number two to be released on mobile

Best game on App Store.. I love this game and have had it on any iphone I own since I found it on the store. I have played the first and second on console and computer and still own at least one copy of both games. I love having this one in my pocket. I have never had any issues and the great story and replay ability with the huge environments side quests and choices affecting you and those around you only makes it better. Honestly the only 2 bad things I can say is 1. Why can’t you make KOTOR2 available as well? I know it’s been awhile and all but if your ever playing a waiting game for a project to be approved or something please fiddle with marking 2 available. 2. I know it’s not part of the original game but I would love to see attacks more free form instead of a ordered list. Simply put this is possibly the best game in the store able to be fun for both Star Wars fans and those who are not. I am looking forward to trying Jade Empire by you guys which apparently is very similar.

Good but ...... Love the game absolutely blew my mind by how everything formed in the story and how their were challenging puzzles, I just love the Free aspect to the game travelling to different worlds and doing missions ect although as I approach the ending fighting Malak I was completely unprepared... unable to obtain more heals, didn’t have proper force power that malak can take damage from, no mines or anything I was left with nothing, I have tried going back from previous saves but I usually delete older saves as it’s annoying having to scroll all the way down after each death. At least have crates or something with considerable loot such as healing ect because the ending is amazing although I’ll never get to witness it myself without watching someone else complete it. Please fix.

Awesome. This - I can’t believe I have no his on my phone: I fell in love with this years ago - if you’re a Mass Effect fan remember this is where it started - worth paying for.

Flawed but great. This was my first experience with KOTOR and i adored it, it’s an incredible game, and if you’re reading this you probably already know that. So, i’ll comment on the quality of the port rather than the game itself. The port runs and controls about as well as you expect. I was able to complete every fight, every mini game and puzzle with minimal hiccups. Swoop racing is a bit of a mess, and has quite a low FPS, but if you dial up your touch sensitivity and practice, you’ll be fine. There’s a few places where the FPS get back bad, and there’s a few UI elements that could have been improved, but i only experienced 2 crashes in my 40 hour play through. all in all it’s a great way to experience the game, even if it’s your first time. If there was anything i could gripe about, and the only reason i’m giving 4 stars rather than 5, it’s the fact that the FIRST thing you see after beating the game is a massive ad jammed over the top of the credits of the incredible devs that made this game for Jade Empire. Jade Empire is a fine game but honestly being greeted with an ad after just watching the ending sequence of a great game is a bit of a slap in the face. I bought this for full price and don’t regret a cent, id recommend anyone looking for an incredible RPG on iOS to do the same.

Good game but. I have completed the game as Sith Lord it's easier and as a Jedi it's harder no I got the game back every time I play it it keeps flicking out I was in the vulker base or what ever it is in a hour and killed everyone I needed to so I saved it and turned my iPad off and did the dishes I came back and it made me start the vulker base again becasue it glitched out when I saved fix it honestly it never glitched out before fix it

Probably the GOAT of the App Store. Before you read this, there will be spoilers to the entire game so, if your reading this, you have been warned. I am a guy that generally loves Star Wars, I’ve watched all the movies, spin-offs, etc, but I could never find a cheap, good Star Wars game, until I found this diamond in the rough. Once I started playing, I couldn’t stop. The story was so well written, the immersive worlds and the detailed characters were a PinPoint in the game and made it a big landmark of pop-culture in my lifetime The best part about the game, was the big reveal of your modelled character being Revan, I never expected that twist and it had me around the bend for weeks. Anyways, I’m now neck-deep into the KOTOR fandom and I’m loving every second of it (Revan x Bastila forever!) KOTOR 2 was not as good as the first in my opinion, but it was still a great game to play as well. In conclusion, to the top 1% who read this post, I wish you the best of luck with your life, and may the Force be with you! - Jackle

Game breaking bug. After an incredibly promising start I’ve encountered a bug where I cannot talk or interact with any other characters, and am now stuck with quests. There unfortunately doesn’t seem to be any way to fix this, and it seems like only a handful of people have had a similar problem, so a bug fix is unlikely. :(

Great game but a bug needs to be fixed. I loved the game but there was a bug on korriban inside the sith academy once I was in I couldn't click on anything I found this bug very annoying due to not being able to leave the academy the bug occurred after I killed calo Nord and I already know I'm reven so if there is a future update I would love for you to fix this Thanks -Matt

Malak is too hard!. Malak is so hard to defeat, I killed all the Jedi captives but he's still too hard. Please change it. And plz improve the graphics. This game is the best for Star Wars nerd like me, totally worth getting!

It’s only ok. It’s ok. The story is great and I like how there is multiple options of dialogue and there is voice acting for each one. However, it has many flaws. For once, the controls are garbage. Absolutely appalling. I hate how you have to tap on an enemy to attack. My character can not hit anything, with it being a one in ten chance from my perspective. Same with talking. When I’m moving in a crowded place, I try to move around, but when I touch my screen I begin to start talking to someone. The movement is just as bad. There should be a joystick or something for moving and the entire other side of the screen for looking around. Instead, it’s mushed together, so it’s very hard to keep going at maximum speed. I wish that there would be some directions to the objective. This game is very much like those “Where the hell do I go” kind of games where you are just wandering without a clue of where to go. Which is very inconvenient since it’s such a big map in this game. So in total, it still has its good parts, but in my opinion, there are slightly more flaws than benefits.

Buy this game meat bag!. Ive noticed that most star wars games still hold up to the current rpg standards (mine anyways). This was much more fun/ better than playing it on my pc from the steam port which only used half my screen.

Great game, but currently broken. please fix it!. Currently having an issue where I cant move the main character post any combat. He just stands still and any touch pad interaction just rotates the camera rather than making the character move. Only way to solve this is save, exit and load again. Unplayable like this. Please fix!!!!

Abysmal touch controls. Great story, love the setting, absolutely drives me mad though by constantly interacting with things when I’m trying to move away from them. Having to push forward, then swipe to turn and push forward again... how on earth was this not released with dual touch-sticks? Thee is a setting for always run but it’s equally problematic. I ran out of steam in the rakghoul section. Definitely worth it if you have a controller, but not if touch only.

KOTOR. I think its a really good Star Wars game with great graphics but one question how do you change your face without creating a new game on iPad Pro?

Great story but probably better on console. This game starts off with a compelling story that can be compared to the likes of Fallen Order but the combat feels a Little off like it was meant for console but I still recommend this game to all Star Wars a and RPG fans

What is wrong with it. It’s a good game but I tried to click on a character so I could complete a level and it didn’t do anything I tried different saved files but it wouldn’t let me speak to them therefore I could complete the level

The best. This is the best game I have ever played on iOS. it is such a smooth game with hardly any floors. If you are reading this then I suggest u buy the ga,e because it is worth it

Cheats and hacks. Hi creators! I’ve been playing this game basically since 2009 and still can’t stop. Although I’ve been playing it for such a long time I want to do something that I haven’t done before, that is to play the cheated version of it. I want to be able to have an infinite number of feats, skills etc. . It’s been basically my one goal in this game for a long time to be completely overpowered and hopefully you can help me with that. I play on IOS Cheers - Elijah Nuttall

Better on PC , but still good. This game is impeccable. I find it amazing how they brought it to mobile, or though not as well. This games options storyline’s and combat are really good. Except these are less so on mobile. If u wish to play the full experience you should play on PC or Xbox 360.

Awesome. Best game ever.. Hello. I have played through both kotor 1 and 2 at least 3 times. And they are the best games out. Absolutely awesome. But can you mod it at add Addons ? Also it would be great if the developers respond. Thanks.

Amazing. Just like when I played this back in middle school. The game is a gem, and it looks even better on the iPhone 11!

KOTOR. This is the best Game of all Times and you need to release KOTOR2 please I been waiting.

Classic game but the port has game breaking glitches. One of my favorite games of all time was very excited to play again. Unfortunately there is a game breaking bug where npcs will not realize you have progressed through dialogue and talk to you like it was the first time meeting you, and even more game breaking big where your party members are not able to be deleted during party select screen and replaced with the text (I am broken oh so very broken) attempting to use a party emmener with this text option crashes the game. Unfortunate that the last patch was 3 years ago

What a great mobile game. I’ve played through this game over three times and I can tell you it is one of the best mobile games I have ever gotten. The story is great, the locations are extremely cool, and the customizability is second to none with over a dozen ways to fight, both good and bad, long and short range. I just love it! Also even through it is turn based, the sword fighting choreography is the best I have ever seen, as the move (albeit a wee bit limited) fit together perfectly. I would highly recommend it as the price is well worth the game. Easily the best purchase I’ve made in the App Store. I haven’t played KOTOR 2, but I’m sure it is a great game much like this one. This is a classic!

Amazing. This was one of my favourite games on Xbox until the disc broke but now I can play it wherever I want without Wifi, but there is one thing that I don’t like and that’s that the touch controls are a bit glitchy but if that got patched it would be perfect.

But why no Apple TV support!. I could really use Apple TV support so I can play this with my kids who I would like to indoctrinate in the Star Wars universe...... Come on!

Game Breaking Bug On Otherwise Great Game. After entering combat my character is unable to move. Not talking about the pause feature of combat. Looked it up this is an issue others have had as well.

Ummmm..... Best Game EVER!!! But can you make the controls more easier please and make a part 2 and make a terminator game

Constantly Crashing. Doesn’t even open on my iPad. Total waste of money and no update from the company

Really good but breaking bugs. It’s a really good game but poor port… controls are not so good. The way you select the next attack is weird. And when you save, you are unable to move… always have to restart the app. Other than that. It’s really good but seems there are still little dev.

Freezes. Keeps freezing on the first mission and I lose my progress

Where is kotor 2?. I really liked the game and it really putted me into the caracters, but I really want to play kotor 2 bcuz I don't have a pc! I know it has been a long time since kotor mobile as been released, but please, read this comment and make kotor 2 for mobile!!!

Please add KOTOR 2.. I love this game, it has a great storyline, fair mechanics and graphics, and it’s Star Wars! I am so glad it was available on IOS. But it would be amazing if we could have the second KOTOR so we can have more fun playing it’s sequel.

Phenomenal!. Better than the console version In terms of game controls, one of the best games ever made and it’s even more comfortable holding the phone right to your face. Only bad thing is that KOTOR 2 isn’t on here. PLEASE ASPYR DEVELOP THE SEQUEL FOR IOS!!!!!

Do not buy. Unplayable on iPhone 11. Can't get past the spire sequence . Cutscenes freeze and will not progress. Don't buy this

Extra content that wasn’t on the original Xbox version. This was probably on the PC version but for those of us that played on the Xbox there is some extra content that wasn’t in that version. Really nice to see new things from a game I absolutely adore.

Omg amazing. The controls are great on my iPad and the game is incredible. I wish we had more ports like this one, and huge kudos for the recent update to support the newest iPhone. New edit: there seems to be a bug that makes the character freeze and not move on iPad Pro. Seems the PC has the same issue on newer computers but it’s fixed by enabling vsync in advanced graphics, which isn’t available on iPad’s graphic settings. However, disabling pro-motion in the iPads settings so the refresh is limited to 60 frames per second provides a work around. I’d still like a fix in-game though. (iPad Pro 10.5”, iOS 14.2) Works flawlessly on my older iPad Air 2

Good port. An extremely great rpg on the go, that has a fleshed out story, dialogue, and a cool setting not explored in the main stream Star Wars. My only problem is the touch screen controls, but you can kind of get used to them after a while, but the actual game makes this a very minor issue.

9/10. Didn’t get to finish this game when I was a kid but I can play anywhere now. 9/10 the controls are a bit messy on the touch screen. You’ll randomly do actions in the middle of a battle such as pickup loot or open a door, etc.

iPad makes swoop racing impossible. I’m sure back in the day controlling swoop bikes with a controller was pure fun. Not so much on the iPad. Trying to steer and figure out how to switch gears is impossible. Too bad, because swoop racing is a large part of the game, a really good game otherwise. Developers could have spent more time on this when transitioning the game to portable devices.

Game constantly freezes during critical cinematically. Can’t even get off the damn spire on iPhone 14. Tried making 3 new games and each of the progression cinematics won’t play properly leaving characters just standing around and the game being unplayable.

Missions Brother. I would give 5 stars, there is a glitch with Missions brother in the sand people enclave, if you opened the door before the “mission” is triggered, he will not spawn! I would love to see this kind of glitch be fixed! But overall, pretty much my all time favorite star wars game! Playability is great on my phone!

5/5. Love the touch controls, they work better than controller. kotor 2 please.

Glitches. I played this game religiously for years when I was younger. Seeing it available on iOS was an exciting day. My issues are that the audio rarely works, and there are glitches in the cutscenes that auto skip all the time. There are bugs that need to be fixed, especially since this is a paid game.

Good port but has glitches. The game is a faithful port of the original, but I experience an annoying glitch after each battle where my character is unable to move. I have to restart the game every time. I think it might be due to the update because I played this game on an older iPad that didn’t have this issue.

The controls make the game unplayable. The touchscreen controls are awful and make the game unplayable. I can’t move my character and the combat controls are boring and glitchy.

Pls port the second one. Very good game with a great storyline and there are no wrong voices you can go down your own path highly recommend to everyone who likes creating their own path in games and again pls port the second

Best star wars game ever. Works well on mobile too

Can’t play more than 5 minutes.. Every time I get to “look, it’s dark Jedi, this is too much...” on the ship at the very beginning, the game just stays focused on the two Jedi, both of them wounded and panting or something. There is an explosion and they both stand there and the cut scene never ends. Was very much looking forward to playing this game again, but looks like I just wasted $14. Using an iPad Pro 12.9” 2020

Good port.. I’ve played this game back in the day for Xbox and it was awesome. I thought it might be a little awkward to play the game on my iPhone 11 but the controls are amazing. It’s like it can read your mind. Very very good. This game is probably the best ported game to a phone or tablet I’ve ever seen and it’s worth the money because this game has a lot of detail and is a great rpg all around. This time i can be good instead of evil and see what happens.

Nice. Nice

Bugs. Great game but it keeps auto saving when my party dies and I have to restart the whole game. You can turn off the auto save feature , but I’d you exit the game when you die it still auto saves with your party dead. The games unplayable for me

When can we get part 2???. This is a very good port of the original game. An older style game with an incredible star wars story. Controlling on iPad is very intuitive, and almost more appropriate then an OG Xbox controller. My only issue it’s been years and there is no sign of KOTOR2 which is really annoying to me.

Air pad air. Awesome game , gameplay intuitive, 5/5

Something wrong. Game is good. But when I betrayed the hidden beks all of a sudden I can’t talk to anyone anymore .. what the hell!? Please fix it. That part where I get inside the vulknar base and meet up with the bosses . They make me an offer I couldn’t refuse. So I go kill gadon but after that . Can’t talk to anyone. 2 stars for that... or do I have to go light side only to finish the game?

Trash. It’s trash

Awesome game!!!. Great game really fun.

DO NOT BUY! DOES NOT WORK IN 2024. Worst 15$ spent. Won’t load past title screen and it’s cropped badly on iPhone 13 Pro where you can only see bottom corner of screen. Don’t buy this.

Buggy. Controls freeze every two minutes - iPad Pro 12.9” Shame, as it’s a great game; just a buggy port that needs updating.

Legendary. Great game, great story, great customization, and the second game is up for preorder rn

Great game. Great game, awesome graphics. Are you guys going to put Kotor 2 on iPad and iPhone?

Crashing. Great game!! But it keeps crashing at the part we’re you first clear the groove and return to the council. Crashes right when you talk to them. Plz fix :)

Just dropped $15CAD on a game I can’t even play.. The screen is cropped and doesn’t even fit on my phone. The game is literally unplayable. I have the IPhone 11 Pro Max

Won’t load and crashes. I bought the bundle for both KOTOR and KOTOR 2 and I’ve been playing the first one for almost 4 hours straight, with it crashing only once or twice. Then as soon as i get the third companion from the sewers, the game crashes and will not load any of my 4 saves within the last 20 mins. It either freezes on the loading screen or crashes outright. I uploaded a save to the cloud and uninstalled the game, in hopes that that will fix the issue.

Sucks. I hated it the controls were really laggy and I can’t believe I even wasted my money

So, so good and the port works surprisingly well. Loved it, played through the whole game again. Now do a port of KOTOR 2!

Please release kotor 2. It’s a legend, thank you.

Won’t fit screen of iPhone. Can’t play the game at all. Doesn’t fit screen.

Kotor fix ur lag. Ever since the update game is unplayable due to the lag and picture freezing the cutscenes are not working even more due to the lag the game was fine for me till you updated now it's got so much lag my character move where I don't want them too

KOTOR Bundle Removed.. Question: Did you guys remove the bundle of KOTOR, because I couldn’t find and purchase it on my phone. If you can answer this question that’d be appreciative, thank you for your time.

BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW. Originally released November of 2003 for the first gen Xbox and PC.. This is honestly one of the best RPGs ever made. And this ported version of the game works great with the iOS touch screen controls. I actually like this version better than the PC or console versions. iCloud game saves are a plus so I can play between my iPhone and iPad. I know there’s a lot of red tape.. but I still wish they could release the sequel for iOS..I mean, it’s already on Mac, just wrap it into an iOS app and hit go! I’ll give you money if you guys can port the KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords!! For the love of god, please give us KOTOR 2!!

Game is fine, Controls are terrible.. I haven't had any issues with the game itself, but doing battle with the touchscreen controls is hideous and aggravating. This game was meant to have a joystick for movement and that is made very clear as soon as you start playing this version. Not only does it make a simple task such as walking more complicated than it has to be, it also makes it too easy to accidentally select things around you (such as the companions that are constantly following you) starting cutscenes and wasting time with distractions in general. Combat takes longer than it should, now that we don't have the luxury of buttons to quickly switch party members (Selecting portraits and then selecting attacks, back and forth, repeatedly, is a hassle and simply doesn't feel fun or enjoyable in any way.) or the ability to STRAFE at all (move by sliding forward or backwards then turn with left/right. Turning decreases your speed, requiring you to slide your finger all over the place and let go all the time simply to move.) Swoop races are equally infuriating and difficult to control. If an update could add joystick-style movement, I would raise my review rating. That is all I can really ask for.

2023 game’s state: Unplayable. Man this hurts… I’m playing this on an iPad Pro 6th gen and the game is unplayable. There is one colossal bug that must be fixed. Once every 5-10 minutes your main character will lose the ability to move forward effectively freezing your character in place. Other party members are unaffected by this glitch. When your main character is frozen in place you have 2 options: 1) interacting with nearby objects or npc’s will allow your character to auto-run to that location and hopefully allow access to a door that will prompt a loading screen. 2) quick save and immediately load back in. Both solutions are extremely frustrating and completely shatters any game immersion. Please fix this!! This game would easily be 5 stars otherwise.

A bit buggy, but still fun.. I've had my fair share of buggy games, this one's not the worst one I've ever played, and it's really fun to replay this whenever I want to and not be stuck on the Xbox. I really enjoy the story and the gameplay. I haven't experienced bugs that prevented me from interacting with things, but the sound did glitch where it was only the music playing, just a quick save, exit the app, and load back in and it works. I do wish that every door offered an autosave point though. Honestly, I'm overall pleased with this game and cannot wait to see if the second one will be released as well.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.. I mean, I loved it, but it would be way better if the game was longer! And the graphics are horrible! They should have difficulties, like easy or hard. And it only let’s you visit 8 worlds. And you should have more than two party members when you are going somewhere! Then there’s the docking fee! What if there is no way the players can’t get credits? They never thought of that, did they? And the prices of all the items in the stores are Sssssooooo expensive!!🤑 And then there’s Bastila. When she falls to the dark side, her eyes aren’t yellow! And then there’s......uhhhhh.....Juhani? I forgot. But it was the girl that killed her own master. Yeah, she turned to the dark side and then turned, but her eyes were still yellow! But other than those things, the game’s pretty good.

A Legendary RPG With A Gripping Story. KOTOR I and II provide a story like no other. Whether you are a seasoned Star Wars fan or simply someone who enjoys an epic tale, these games are an awesome experience. Taking place far before the events of the movies, this is a tale of revenge, redemption, love, and friendship. Immersive and expansive, each planet provides hundreds of quests and experiences that reward you for exploring with curiosity. I highly recommended playing this game, as it can be played again and again and provide years of unique experiences each time. There are multiple endings as well, letting you chose a light OR dark side ending.

Really good. I love this game. The only bad bit is how low quality the cutscenes are. (And I am judging it by today’s standards) and by low quality I mean it’s like 140p not that the cgi is bad. The graphics are perfect for mobile devices low quality enough so it doesn’t have to automatically set the graphics to low that make it look ugly (like Fortnite and PUBG) and not so bad so it’s ugly. The story is really good and the gameplay is really fun although I do wish you had more control over your characters attacks like aiming instead of a dice roll. Also whenever I got stuck I always found my way out even if I’m confused if I just keep pushing I eventually figure it out, pretty good game design if you ask me.

Great game!. I played both kotor one and two on pc and i will say this is superior not in controls for obvious mobile reasons but for the graphics and lack of game breaking and annoying glitches on the original pc versions of both games I encountered glitches that would not let me progress and would totally crash my game in particular after the cutscene after the first Malik fight and and even the glitchyness on dantooine that would lag my game terribly my only complaint is the swoop racing and gun turret sections these both have bad controls that make them very tedious and overly hard however this is a fault of being on mobile this is still a great port of a great rpg

Amazing but a glitch. So this game is absolutely amazing!! It is totally worth my money and is never boring. My only problem is that I found a glitch in the game preventing me from completing side quests. After I completed the Leviathan, I went back to Tatooine and Kashyyyk to fight the bounty hunter I was told to by the Genoharadan, only to find that the worlds had completely reset. I was on Tatooine fighting the sand people again and I couldn't get to the guy on Kashyyyk because I would run into Jolee and it would crash because I already had Jolee. The bounty hunter would not pop up on Tatooine because the sand people were still where the guy should be. It is such a great game and I want to complete these tasks so please fix!!!

Possible fix about bug.. So I am giving this game a 5 star review because it is KOTOR and I found a fix for when I got the no interact-able bug. At least for me I noticed it would kick on if the device went into standby and you kept playing after that. What I found out is that if you just save and then exit the game and close it out completely (Which means it isn’t even a tab in the background you know the double home button press thing and then you swipe the tabs off the screen.) then open the app again to where it shows the publisher and all those intro things, then if you load the save the bug should be gone.

Serious Audio Issue. So this happens to be one of my favorite Star Wars video games of all time. I bought it on mobile so I can play it on the go on my iPhone 8, but I ran in to an issue. When I had started a new game everything was working great at first. However, I had to stop playing and do something real quick, so I pressed the home button and turned off my phone screen. As I opened the app back up to resume where I had left off, the game’s audio is completely gone. Perhaps I should have saved the game and closed it properly rather than leave the game abruptly? However, nothing I do has been able to fix the issue. UPDATE: Apparently uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it doesn’t work either.

Great game, but.... This game is awesome, same storyline for every class though. Every time there is a hard boss, such as the rancor... it’s always hard to get past it. And the fact that there is a elevator behind it😑. It makes it impossible. Just maybe give a guide to help with troubling times, know what I mean. And with all the other reviews too... better controls please! You just get into the game and start a new one... your all ready one the storyline with pretty much no idea of what’s going on! Other than that it’s a pretty cool game. Just maybe a little less of a cost to get the game please. That was my Christmas money. So it better be worth it in the long run...

Not understanding the negative reviews at all. I see a couple negative reviews and I'm not understanding why. This is KOTOR, the game that defined the rpg genera. Yes the game is old but it's the full game in its prime, nothing changed and people need to understand this. It's an exact port from how it runs on the Xbox and the pc it's the same game and I'm not really understanding why people don't get that. The controls are eh, I didn't really expect much from an iOS version but it's still the game I love to death. The menus work pretty good and the save feature works well to. If you've played KOTOR you know what you're paying for. If you wanna know what it is and wanna give it a try this is for you.

The developers never update! Please do not buy!!. I was starting to think they were never going to update this game and just took the money and ran but they did it. FINALLY!! Still the game has bugs. I’m playing this on my iPad Pro 2nd gen 12.9” and the game bugs out on me with my main character at some point does not move at all. It stays stuck and I’m only able to move when I switch to other characters in the game. Then the fighting glitches out with the character is randomly be hit without showing the attack animation. You just see the health bar go down without knowing you where hit. Fix the bugs please so I can give this game the five stars it deserves or is it going to take another three years before the next update???? Edit: Forget all of what I just mention above game is buggy as hell!!! I want my money back

Controls are absolute garbage. One of my favorite games of all time, and they removed certain controls from the game that previously made it much easier to play. On literally any other platform, there are controls for selecting the next/previous intractable object. On this mobile version, those controls are completely gone, and you simply have to tap on everything in the environment to see if you can use it. Also, taking your finger off the screen after using it to look around will result in a “Tap” input if your finger is over an interact-able when you lift it after dragging, resulting in you constantly interacting with things you don’t mean to. And on top of all that, no controller support for a game that originally released on Xbox (and PC). Great game. Awful controls for this port.

Good game, but game breaking issue.... This game was very fun for the 4-5 hours that I played it, but I ran into a huge issue that prevents me from actually playing the game. When I die in game, it tells me to go back to the title screen, and when I press play to go back in the game, it shows me dead again and I have to go back to the title screen yet again! I’ve tried restarting my game and the problem is still there, it’s just an endless cycle of showing my character dead and telling me to go back to the title screen. I’m disappointed because I spent $10 on a great game only to not be able to actually play it early on. I also can’t find any results online on how to fix this issue. Oh well...I guess the only option would be to restart the game entirely and do everything all over again...

Great Star Wars game. As a huge RPG and Star Wars fan, I absolutely love this game. It combines all the elements of an RPG with the SW Universe. Story is fairly long, first play through was 32 hours, playing almost nonstop everyday, sort' expectations rushing through. My only issues with the game were turret sequences on the Ebon Hawk, and swoop racing. If there was a joystick to aim the turret + tap to shoot this wouldn't be a problem. Swoop racing controls are fine, just a little sensitive and laggy in general. This may have been simply b/c of my iPad 2, but anyway this wasn't that big of a deal b/c there is only one mandatory swoop race. You also can't do anything after completion of the main storyline. Pros: -Lengthy storyline -9 companions to join you on your quest -7 planets to fly to and explore -Many armor sets, weapons and other items to customize your character -Deep character customization -Star Wars RPG Cons: -Tricky turret sequence controls -Sensitive, laggy swoop race controls -You can't do anything after the story is complete but make another character

Lackluster game support. The game/port itself is amazing, being one of the greatest RPG’s ever. Could KOTOR suffered less from bugs and glitch’s if it was brought back by a different developer? perhaps, no one knows. Point being that there’s hardly any devs who’d regularly keep single player games up to date. I’m riffing on you devs because it’s mandatory. As a returning player( who just so happens to love this game for various reasons) I decided I wanted to play this game again after so many months away, but it can’t even be open now and I learned it’s been around a year since the last update! Well that leaves a terrible impression and tells me that I most likely won’t be able to play this game any longer. Sincerely, I do hope you developers pick up the slack you’ve been cutting. If not for me!, for players Everywhere who’ve enjoyed this game and adore Star Wars.

Cool and all.... SPOILER ALERT 🚨 once you get past battling the players in the canteena you can get past meeting the president of the under ground And meeting Missagan but how in life could you kill that monster could you guys make it less hard and raging if you do this will probably be the best Star Wars game oh by the way can you add in after you complete that part of the game pls make either another game part 2 or add in to this games a realistic version straight from the real thing I’m in 2018 so the last Jedi is the new movie and there’s also a solo movie and put all those movies into the game this is from the YouTuber Elijah playZ and I will try to put this on the channel

So close.... Now this game has a good storyline, it’s very entertaining and that’s why I give it a 4/5. The downfall is that it’s really glitchy and the controls are not the easiest to use. I find that battling is really difficult because it’s more tactic ( if you in to that, you’ll love it) but I’m more of the type of person that likes a hit , punch, person. I find myself dying every time. Also I wish there was buttons for moving forward, back, side to side instead of swiping. Seriously my character will just keep running and I can’t get her to stop. BUT besides that I feel like I’m watching an interactive movie and enjoy that a lot. I’m not sure I think it’s worth 10 dollars but if you like Star Wars as much as me this is right up your alley.

Best game ever. One MAJOR problem.. What happened? I had this game deleted for a but because I needed space on my phone but I finally got back around to downloading it again and I was really pleased, but I opened the game up and now there's 2 or three more companies involved in the game that were never involved in the first place. The graphics updates you seem to have made are great, but whatever you guys did the game is suffering for it. Swoop racing and the turret gunner are insanely laggy and extremely annoying now, and even when I'm just running around the game lags slightly. When I first had this the game was literally perfect, it was the smoothest running game I've ever owned on anything and now for some reason it's not.

It’s awesome and cool and extraordinary my daughter loves it. I love it make another one that Star Wars Old republic Jedi Knights 2 and it has Darth Vader in it that would be cool. would it be out by 2020 or 2021 I love the game it makes me feel like I’m in Star Wars and I feel I can do anything so please make another one maybe we can put a Lot more levels and when you get to the end I don’t feel like its over I think it’s A hole new begin in the Book or game. I dare you to to make another Game just like this. But a different story of Star Wars. My daughter has autism and She loves Starwars I hope you can do this I believe in you as a Hero

KOTOR Lives!. Spoiler free review, running bug free on iPad 10.5 pro As someone who lost count of the number of times I played KOTOR, I can attest this is it, the entire game, start to finish. The graphics are deliciously dated, gameplay religiously nostalgic, controls are easy to acclimate to, and the story is still one of the best entries into the Star Wars universe. And they’re adding the characters into Star Wars galaxy of heroes, another Disney run app which means it’s canon still. If you’ve never played KOTOR, stop debating and get it now. Enough side quests to stretch this game into weeks of fun, different character classes and customizable abilities so every playthrough can be unique. If you’ve played it before you know the fun to be had with this classic. I don’t generally pay for apps as you play/use, move on to the next, but seeing this in the store was an immediate no brainer. It’s taken up valuable real estate on my iPad for probably a year now, and no plans to ever delete it.

Such a good game. But such bad execution. There are so many issues with this game and some pretty big ones. Like just now I used a shield that has uses and a bunch of adrenaline and go through a door and it all just disappeared. So it’s cool just losing all that stuff. When you move and get pinned by your team and they just stand there till you change to one of them and move them then change back to your main is always fun. The battles there are times when the game will act for you but others it doesn’t so you’ll die more than you should. There are targeting issues where the game will have you target like the farthest away enemy and have you run through a to. Taking damage to get to that one. Selecting stuff like doors and crates can also be an issue.

A perfect game however....... This game is a perfect recreation of the classic Xbox original onto a phone game . I had no issues while playing and I played it roughly 25 ish times . I'm a die hard for this game. The only thing i found Iffy was at the star of another new game on the Endor spire it had issues with my character moving he payed for like one second then ran super fast into the wall where you met your first two sith enemies and I became sick and had to restart . ThAt was the ONLY issue I had After like I said,25 Ish games. ID REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHEN YOU GUYS ARE GONNA CREATE/ RELEASE Star Wars knight of the old republic 2 Sith Lords . I've waited two long years and nothing , it saddens me not to see it released already ...

Best era. I love this time in the Star Wars universe. The old republic had just as great of a character cast as the original trilogy that we all love. Revan and Malak. Bastilla. The game had the best ending ever and the simple fact that you can decide what you will be with your actions was completely new when this came out. I have played through it many times over the years and it’s just that good. The graphics are old but this game released back in the early 2000’s so have patience with that. This game set the foundations for Fallen Jedi. I just wish the new KOTOR didn’t go MMO because that killed so many players fun just like fallout and skyrim did. Many of us want to play the stories but oh well.

Horrible play controls and save feature fails - DO NOT BUY IT!!!. The original game was amazing! This version is awful. The swoop controls alone are so bad that it constitutes consumer fraud! Literally I think whoever approved this game for release based on that alone should be jailed. The save feature fails too! On 4 different I-devices it would screw up on the Galaxy map. They forced me to email them the save file which all they did was skip me ahead, robbing me of some of the game. They denied it happened to anyone else, but several of my friends have it for their iPads and encountered the same issue. DO NOT BUY this game! Send them a message that making horrific crap is not acceptable! Frankly if the force does exist, then I hope someone force chokes and them Force lightnings the people who made this game to death, they deserve it and worse for perpetrating this fraud. Aspyr does fraudulently conversions and should not be allowed to touch ANY Bioware games!

Buggy. This game is super buggy. Their are way to many glitches that can end up ruining your game. For example, I was on the star forge and I was at the part where you fight bastilla. I ended up dying due to picking the wrong choice. I thought this was ok because I saved my game before the fight. Instead, my save didn’t show up on the saves and instead ended up saving WHEN I died. How is this even possible. This happens all of the time to me as well. Also, I can’t go back to an older save because the door will just say “This door is locked and cannot be opened.” I am now stuck on the Ebon Hawk. The elevator doesn’t work either. Fix my account and the bugs.

Stuck. Can’t even start playing after character selection, stuck in cinematic on Endar Spire right before Trask is meant to come through the door except it never happens... just stuck listening to music and infinitely staring at a door. iPad Pro 10.5. Fortunately I was able to use cloud saves to workaround this issue on my iPhone, but others who don’t have this luxury may be stuck and unable to advance past this point in the game (the very beginning). This game needs to be updated. It would also be great if you’d support the displays on the new iPhone XS and XS Max. Thanks for charging full price for a half baked and unsupported game. Update and earn a better review.

Movement and swoops need help but otherwise great. Nostalgia is everywhere with this game. My only complaint is that the swoop races (I used to be galaxy wide champion easily) need work on the way the bike responds to finger movement (seems really sluggish until you go out far enough and then it becomes too responsive and hits the walls of the course) and movement in general (perhaps install one of those screen based joysticks instead of relying on my finger to move them around) need some work. Otherwise the game works great, only a few minor problems with accidentally hitting a container during a fight and having trouble breaking the character from doing that. So wonderful.

Magnificent Port. I remember when this game was released for the Xbox a long time ago, and the fact that it was Star Wars just never spoke to me since I didn't really like that stuff. Only recently now at my 20 years of age was I able to really appreciate how well made and incredible this game truly was. The game was released in 2003 and many more RPG's have been released since and being the huge fan of the dragon series I can honestly say this was BioWare's greatest game that not only deserves the second game ported to iOS, but a better ending to a magnificent series then SWTOR. From the relationships built to the amazing character development and story told this game is near perfect and nothing but praise should be given.

Illegal conduct. No forcing to bear witness against yourself, no insult-based systems, no horror based systems, no swindling, no lie-based systems, no taking money and not giving it back when it is not used for the sole purpose the person agrees to, no suffering torture to prevent torture, no stealing, no going by past sins to determine present sins, no not accepting the change in times, no mental-based control, and no corruption of blood is mandated not optional until they agree. You were supposed to correct it as well as not punishing for break of heart and other atrocious tortures including lying to save an area. These include conducts on all ship and planet areas. Also, I have warned you it is not a sin to be tempted, it is a sin to give into temptation. Aspyr Media knows better than to legalize much of this atrocious conduct. It has some legal conduct but not much, so I couldn't give it a high rating.

SCREEN FIX FOR IPHONE 12 (Pro at least). Settings App>Display and Brightness> Display Zoom [will be a header]> View>Standard [set from Zoomed to Standard if not done already] Although I can’t speak for every other iPhone 12, I would think they should work as well. I assume the same can be said for future generations until Aspyr fixes it. Just in case they rework the Settings options, this was done on iOS 15. I have beaten KOTOR I and II on the 12 Pro and have not encountered anything else unusual other than the screen bug in KOTOR I. KOTOR II does not have this bug. If the screen bug still persists, contact the developers for further advice.

Definitely worth $5. This was my favorite game when I first played it on the computer when I was younger and it's still the best star wars game. It's pretty dated obviously and the combat would be annoying to newcomers but the story and characters are still solid. There are a few annoying glitches that interupt the gameplay but just save often and you'll be alright. Also the few times you fight in space is really annoying, because you can tell it wasnt made for a touch screen and its so hard to aim. But overall it's a great adventure game worth losing hours playing.

One of the best on IPad. This is one of my personal favorites on Xbox and RPG's of all time. Great story, make your own choices, plenty of exploration and side missions. Easily 20-30 hours of gameplay, and great replay value. Any Star Wars fan should play this game. As for the iPad port, I really enjoy this version. Fast load times, and smooth playability. I was worried about the touch screen controls, but the controls are not bad at all, and there's a auto run option to help with long travel. Menu navigation also is much easier on this rendition with touch controls. I recommend this game and it still holds up and will continue to be one of my personal favorite RPG's and games of all time.

Worth playing over and over.. I have loved this since it originally came out on Xbox. The fact that it is available to play on a phone is great. Though seems like it lacks a bunch of things one then is being able to let sunru have help no matter what happens he always gets life currently despite you finding datapad showing the unlawful actions of the with on Manaan. Also it would be more fun if more of side quests wer easier to trigger nearly all characters being up on except for jolee and juhanni. Still a great game though.

Best RPG ever. I’ve played this game so many times I could almost recite each line in the dialog. I bought this game many years ago on X box. I’ve been nothing but impressed by the graphics and spot on gameplay with the Mobil version. I’d love to see a follow up KOTOR 2 Sith Lords but I’m sure if we all ask enough it will happen and I would gladly pay. If your a total die hard KOTOR fan like me then you got to check this out yourself. Please play and love this game the way I have. Through many lonely and dark nights this game was there for me. The old republic is the best era of Star Wars lore and the best representation of what I hold dear to me personally. This game is the absolute best of what Star Wars can be.

Yavin DLC is amazing. It is great that you have a extra side quest that can add more Like the two light saber crystals this makes the saber better in many ways and if you are playing a soldier guardine you can use the heavy exoskeleton witch first of all is light armor so all can use it you can get two of them and it gives strength plus two that op attack there it might not seem good but it is useful you want hard but you are two away for 10 plus strength multiplier slap on the heavy exoskeleton this op this helps players yavin is great it expands kotors racism including a old race witch I won’t say what it is so no spoilers do the dlc have fun ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Amazing. I love this game I’ve finished the game and it was lit as it put you as Revan which is Canon now and show what the Galaxy was like 4000 years before the movies lightsaber combat is perfect and the graphics are just like PC graphics but For 2012 it’s some really nice graphics and very realistic The only thing is sometimes a glitch out or not save properly if you save in game it would have amount of save data The only way to permanently save is to go to the settings which take longer but anyway the game is a bomb The customizations you don’t get to customize your avatar but you do get to customize the perks I hope you enjoy the game

The most nostalgic game of my life.. I enjoy that this is a way for a new generation to play one of the most time consuming, thought provoking and most fun to ever have in a choice orientated game. But among so much more. Kotor is really an experience everyone should have. (I am desperately waiting for kotor 2: the Sith Lords!!) The only sad thing is the racing and space fights, controls will give you a hard time for sure. The swiping sides of the screen to move the bike is impossible without hitting anything and to aim the Ebon Hawk turret at ships, it goes off at the same time while you move. This game takes a long while to beat, so these things do hold you back from the full experience!

Good but a lack of freedom.. This game is great, perfect game for te app store and best of star wars game in the app store, lots of places to go, big plot twist, many characters, and wonderful story line, the game has great gameplay, its not to hard to play the game, controls are simple and the batlle system is great, but just one little thing that bothers me. FREEDOM, there is hardly any freedom, once your done with a planet your just compleatly done with it, no enemys to kill anymore, once your done killing everything, theres nothing left, no respawns, the enemys stay dead which ruins the whole fun of killing your enemy, so i was just forced to just finish the game right away, i really wished there were at least the respawns of the enemys so i can just kill them over and over again.

Overall good but. I’ve loved this game on my Xbox. Nice to have it on the iPad. It is a little buggy. I found if it doesn’t let you tap on something or someone, you can quit the game then hit continue. It will start you back at that point and everything will work again. Moving forward is a little of an issue. You have to keep moving your finger slowly up the screen or your character will slow down. Then you run out of screen and have to lift your finger and bring it back down to the middle again. Overall however, I still love playing this game. I would also like to see KOTOR 2 come to the iPad but with all the missing content that was missing from the console game because the release was rushed.

Childhood Dream Revived. The fact that you can play KOTOR on your cell phone should be all you need to smash the download button. This game is everything you need to re-live your favorite quests and Star Wars gaming moments from the 00s. If that’s not convincing enough, the game is also super challenging and the variations in stories makes it well worthwhile. Some combat and selection function is buggy. But, you’re playing a game designed for consoles with joysticks and select buttons on a cell phone. This app doesn’t fall short, it far surpasses expectations.

Better than an iPhone game. People give this port of an original Xbox game less than 5 stars, due to very sparse technical issues. The problem with that is the fact that this is one of the only games on the App Store that is an actual amazing game. I've never encountered any bugs not on the original version, the UI is better, and graphics are crisp. But, this game is so much more than any other iPhone game you'll ever play, because it's not an iPhone game. It shouldn't be here, but miraculously it is. Buy it here, or even better on your computer, because you'll be missing out on one of the best rpg games ever if you don't.

My favorite. I followed KOTOR since it was in beta and became obsessed with the original xbox version. It is probably the best video Role-Playing game of all time. Why? Not because of the graphics or even the gameplay but because of the music, the story and the characters. It’s worth playing for Jolee and HK-47 alone, two of the best Star Wars characters period. I was very excited to find out about the mobile version to say the least. The controls are tricky on mobile and you will probably have to adjust the touch sensitivity, but If you like Star Wars, do yourself a favor and buy this game.

Just not great. When I first got this game, I was very excited, but it is impossible to play. Every once in a while, when I die and restart, it just shows me dead and there’s nothing I can do about it except delete all my progress and start again. I’ve started four times and on the easiest level, and still haven’t even gotten off of the planet I’m on! Also, they don’t explain any of the controls, and so I have no idea how to fight at all and spend most of the time just dying because I don’t know what anything means. And the controls menu doesn’t help either! About the fourth time I started this I got to a part where I couldn’t get past the guard and I don’t know how to equip the thing I need to get past him. It had potential, but it is not a fun game and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great, classic game but…. This game is one of my personal favorites and is an enduring classic. I love it and can play over and over again. However, if you get the iPad version it is very glitchy and has some annoying bugs not easily resolved, notably you cannot move the main character after a fight (sometimes no one at all) and every once in a while you are unable to talk to people and have to delete the game to fix it (thank goodness for cloud save). No updates in two years probably means no patches to fix some really glaring annoying bugs and glitches. Even though I want to give five stars, the bugs in this version forces me to give only two until they can fix the problems.

A beautiful Star Wars RPG to be have been created. Now, first to bring up is that I'm not a fan of the Star wars franchise, thus I'm not as biased. The game overall is fantastic with the story, character development, and the game's elements and mechanics. There are issues such as the strange controls, that maybe hard to get use to but I was able to as well as outdated graphics (Graphics aren't everything to me, so I'm fine with it.) It mostly stood true to its original predecessor, with some minor changes. Even for such an 'ancient' game, it's still extremely fun and amazing. The price is worth it to buy this game to play it on the go and anywhere.

Great old game; PLEASE FIX THE FREAKIN' TURRETS & ALLOW CHEAT CODES. I remember my older brother playing this on his original Xbox. It was a blast to play a classic on my iPad. However it is with faults as well. I'm not going to deride graphics or storytelling (for God's sake this came out in '03). But I use to get a tightening clench in my stomach every time I'd fly to another planet in fear I'd have another turret segment. The turrets don't allow you to move and fire simultaneously - so you're pretty much relegated to praying a Hail Mary they cross your line of fire. Apart from that; it's a straightforward game that I can recommend. It would also be nice if the devs allowed for cheat codes for people who've already beaten the game. Also it's infuriating now people can buy this for $3 when SOME of us had to pay $10....
