Absolutely terrible. There’s nothing wrong with a challenge, but the challenge shouldn’t be getting use to terrible controls. Your ball almost instantly starts to bounce around like there’s no gravity. Turning is the just the biggest joke, like it would be easier to turn a tank in quicksand on Mars than to turn this like white ball of awfulness. Then, when your ball hits the road, it jolts up, taking 90% of the screen, causing you to miss the road and fail. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is terrible beyond words, and you will be sorry you did.

Amazing but fix the title screen.. This game is amazing and I’m currently addicted to it. The only thing I’m begging you to fix is the position of the ball in the title screen. As the ball falls down the screen and gets small and closer to the A. It is noticeable that the ball is slightly off center. Obviously this is not a big problem but it would make me so much more satisfied if every time the app opened all the parts were centered and symmetrical. Otherwise amazing. Thank you.

Name of the game is accurate.. If your idea of fun is learning how to balance an egg on a pencil tip, this game is for you. Starts out impossible from the very first moment. Too impossible to even say if the controls are bad. A great soundtrack might make the masochistic futility of it go down better, but it’s just meh. Editors led us astray with this one.

Good Game missing 1 feature: Haptic Feedback!. This game would be so much better if it used the Taptic Engine to give the player feedback any time the ball bounced on the road. Check out how Falling Ballz handles bouncing balls and rumble feedback. Love the iPhone X support, it’s a good game I’m glad to see the updates. Pretty hard though

Can’t turn left. This game is challenging enough, but I can’t figure out why my left turn works only sometimes and not every time? Can someone explain to me why the left isn’t as responsive as the right?

Impossible!!. I love the game.....Please make the arrows to control turns bigger...or just sensitive sides of the screen. You get going and you miss the small controls😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

Update suggestion. So many times I die in this game is because the solidity of the ball makes it so I have to guess where the track is when trying to land. Even a LITTLE transparency to the ball, or even better -let its transparency be a player-choice setting, would go a long way to making this game more fun and less of a stress-inducing game. Please consider this!

Wow. Great graphics, don't know if it was really worth 3 dollars, but it really is a difficult game I can't pass 9 and I've been playing video games for almost all of my life 😂

Good Concept, Bad Delivery. Overall, the concept of the game is great. You control a ball that is going down a rollercoaster. Simple. The entire game is set to “endless” so the app had about 10 minutes of entertainment before becoming boring. I still see potential, if the developers would add levels and game modes instead of just endless.

Seems odd that phone motion doesn’t control the ball. Seems to me using a phone’s motion sensor to control turns would be way intuitive than the directional arrows. Played for about a minute and deleted it. Too bad, since simplicity of the graphics was appealing 😔

Can’t turn. This game would be fun but the turning sensitivity is beyond low and almost not even there. I literally cannot even turn the ball to move with the tracks at all. Fix this or your game will continue to get bad reviews.

Fun. Enjoyable but would be better if the time from falling off the track to reset was longer.

Awful. Not fun.. Waay too difficult even for the the most extreme gamer. Why not at least just start it slow and easy and get people into it, you completely ruined it, esp for people who would like to just relax and play a game, this puts your stress levels in overdrive and makes you angry because you just think how inconsiderate the developer was to the majority of people. I tried re-downloading this game and giving it a second shot, now I remember why I deleted it last time and even from my purchase history. Bunch of crap. IF only you got it to start off slowly and then go faster. Utter nonsense.

This game is ok not the best tho. me and my brother tried to play this but if u did an update with the controllers where u could use ur finger to move and not tap the controls left and right would make it a whole lot better! Good game, but needs some debugging and redesigning.. Every now and then the arrows do not work. Also, I play this game on my iPad, but I am unable to use my keyboard to control the movement of the ball. Why not??? I find it frustrating that I have to use the (occasionally unreliable) arrows on the touch screen to control the ball movement, even on my iPad. If the developer redesigns the game so that the user can tap ANYWHERE on the right or left side of the screen to control the ball’s movement, most of the problems with the use of the arrows on the touch screen would be fixed. Out of preference, the developer should also make this game compatible with the iPad keyboard.

“Steering”. Could you possibly make the response areas of the steering of the ball bigger? I find myself focused on the road and not the buttons and I occasionally miss the arrow to steer.

Can I have my $2.99 back?. Found this game impossible to master in the slightest. The ball flings off the track, bounces erratically, and half the time I can’t see what’s ahead because there’s a large opaque ball in my view. A transparency slider for the ball would be a start, but even still. Pretty game, but I’m deleting after 10 min. Yes I could give it more time, but why?

Needs some tweaks. Hard to find the track because the ball blocks a major portion of the screen. Controls are sloppy. There is no reason for the virtual buttons to be so small and sensitive. Since there are only two buttons, “left” and “right”, and they’re at opposite ends of the screen, why not make the touch zones much bigger? And for that matter, why no tilt steering so we can have some nuance in how tight we turn? It is simple, so I want to forgive the game. But being so simple, there’s also no excuse for the poor controls and visuals.

Tough but fun. This game is tough but a good time. I just wish it was a tiny bit more forgiving when you miss a turn. Would be fun to tumble down the track a bit. I’m just starting tho so I’ll keep improving. I will say it is not much like Luge...

Played for a long time. This is one of my faves. Like the name, the learning curve can feel impossible... but it’s so exciting you keep going. Only other game like it is Lunar Ledge, which I also played for a very long time.

Copy. I would try and do something about Voodoo completely copying your amazing game. Voodoo’s complete copy of this game is called TwistyRoad and is too much like your game. Contact Voodoo to take TwistyRoad down.

Funish. I’ve been playing this for a year and its so challenging and so fun!

Some options for improvement. Don’t get me wrong—it’s fun as-is, but I’m frustrated by the difficulty of in-air control and the inability for the ball to stick on the track after even the slightest incline. What would be great: a light ball/heavy ball option. A light ball could be more easily-controlled in the air, but it could hardly stick to the track. A heavy ball would suit the players who prefer to stay on the track, but it would be hard to control if the player made a mistake and let it fly.

Good at first. This game is good, at first. But after a bit it gets really boring especially if there are no achievements then its really not the most fun to play

The Original, and The Better. If you are reading this, you’ve probably heard of a game called Twisty Road. I’m going to give it to you straight, don’t buy it and if you already have it delete it. This game is the original, and holy crap is it good. Super fluid, good music, and good controls no matter what people say. Buy now instead of Voodoo’s ripoff. This has no ads and runs better.

15 minutes in unity to make, costs 1.99. This garbage game is fit for a Ludum Dare competition, nothing else. Feels like stock rigidbody and a free controller from the asset store. I’m fine with minimalist, but not at the expense of identity or atmosphere. Music is bad, I think you can make good music in free or cheap software, but this is not it (except for the free software part.) No effort was put into the graphics, with an ugly tessellated sphere. Ugh. At least they paid to get rid of the starting unity logo.

Fun game, controls could use a bit of work. Fun game! The arrow control areas seem a bit small, sometimes my thumbs move a bit during play and don't register. Maybe the areas could be enlarged, perhaps even to the point where it's just the left and right half of the screen? Also with force touch is almost impossible to control the turn rate, so I have to turn it off to be able to play. Definitely a 5 star if the control areas are enlarged.

Epic game but collisions are buggy. I love the intense, survival feeling of this game and the clean, minimalist gameplay and UI. I really only have one problem with it, and that is that the physics of the ball with the track are a bit unrealistic. Hitting the ball against the end of the track often shoots you to the left or right with a lot of force (almost a certain fail), and slight bumps in the road sometimes propel the ball into oblivion. I think the game would have a much more relaxed feel if the ball was “heavier,” in other words, hugged the track more closely and had slower acceleration.

Buttons not working. This is a really good game and it's very addicting but I deleted it and then put it back on and the left and right buttons aren't working. SO PLEASE FIX

Wish I could do no stars. This game isn’t fun. At first it looked like a challenging game but after playing it I realized I just waisted $2. The game has no logic. A bend comes up so you try to prepare to turn.. and you flew off the edge. Okay so maybe you are supposed to jump from one track to the other? So you fall off and aim for a track, hit it, and fly into the sky like Superman needing to use the bathroom. You only “roll” the first maybe 7 levels, the rest it just falling and praying you hit the next track before the timer runs out. No fun, and not even a good time waisted because after ten seconds you will be looking to delete this and find a new game.

edited review: A fun game to pass the time. Very impressed the developers keep up with the comments here. They solved my issue and I can now see my low rating was premature. The game still handles well, and is even sensitive to the amount of pressure you put while turning. Thanks for clearing it up for me, Kevin.

Faster than Sonic. This game is what a wireframe version of a good Sonic game should look like. Fast paced, easy to maneuver, and having the ability to go where you please.

Love it. I have been playing this game for quite some time now, and I am just going to say that it is one of the best games I think I have ever played. Ps. Not sure what the world record is, but my highest score is 471.

Frustrating. I’m not to good at the game but it does get very frustrating. It is very fun but if you are looking for a calming game this one is not for you. 3 days after getting the game I had 12 broken lamps and 4 1/2 broken toasters.

There’s a Counterfeit!. This game is phenomenal: the graphics are smooth, the music is immersive, and the game runs nicely. However, a copy of this game was made called Twisty Road, which is just a poorly made remake of this game with worse graphics, music, and game engine. Download Impossible Road, the original, and not the copy.

Inconsistent controls. This is a very challenging app, but it becomes very frustrating when the amount of pressure you need to use when turning seems to change mid-game. If this is a game feature, it’s completely stupid. If it is a defect, there is no way to report it to the developer

How is this a scam?. I very much enjoy criticizing things, but there is absolutely nothing about this game to complain about other than getting frustrated (which is normal for any other game in existence). This game is actually awesome

Why no orientation control?. Control is managed by twitchily tapping a left and right arrow. Hold it too briefly, fly off the road. Hold it too long, fly off the road. Somehow, I’d honestly expected this to respond to me rotating my device, but alas, that is not the case. I wasn’t looking for a game with twitch-perfect demands for control. Tried for 3 plays and I am now deleting this game. Bleh.

Fun but controls are hard. I love this game it’s the best. To give an overview of the game, it’s a challenging and hard game. You have to roll a ball on the road without falling of. But you can get back on the road before time runs out But the controls are hard because when I tap, it goes to far and I change the 3D thingy and it doesent help, so I would like to know how this works

Good idea, controls don't work well. The idea of this game is nice and appealing, but the cone tools are awkward and sometimes non-responsive. You press on the screen, and there is no indication that your fingers are where the turn buttons are mapped. And sometimes there is a half second delay to see your input registered (sometimes not) which makes a big difference in a reflex controlled game. I'd recommend making the entire left/right sides mapped to turning. And/or enable an option to unmask the buttons showing feedback when pressed

Frustrating. I deleted this after 5 minutes. No restart option so you have to wait for it to reset you every time you fall off the edge and the camera angle is terrible. If you fall and land on the path too hard it’s overly disorienting. I’d only wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Bad steering. The steering is awful 💩 you can't stay on the tracks at all I know that's the point but it could be better and you bounce around like a crazy ball. Its challenging which I like but awful steering not worth money. 👎🏻☹️

Needs rewards?. I absolutely love this game. It's a challenge, with a new way to control where you're going and a sense of risking your points. However, I wish this game had more skins to go along with it, a customization thing for the ball, and maybe a currency you collect in-game? Otherwise this game is so good, and much better than twisty road in my opinion.

Great game, but needs some fixes. This game is fun and challenging, but the controls need to be smoother so does the bounce of the ball. When the ball falls and hits the road it bounces all over the place like there is no gravity. The ball also will bounce off the track on sharp turns sometimes. The ball shouldn’t bounce off the track, but rather stick to the track unless u go off of it. Also it would nice to have some unlocks in the game like different roads or ball colors to work towards.

This needs more content. I need more modes and things to do. I paid money for this and expect a lot of content to keep me addicted! If there was like a life mode or a timer mode or different collectables then I would be satisfied with my purchase. But right now I might request a refund if they don’t add anything to this.

Game used to be fun but controls seem broke. On an iPhone 6s and the game is unplayable. My control inputs only register about 1/2 the time when I press the screen. I can only get about 20 seconds in before it just refuses to turn. Will update my score once the game is playable.

Very epic. I love this game, it’s challenging unlike most of the games out there now and that makes me want to play it more. The one thing I would add would be a pause button though, but other than that the game is quite epic

Superb gameplay but w/a couple bugs. I find this game incredibly addicting. Whenever I'm bored I get an urge to play it. Simple to just get right into and easy to exit as well (if my salt levels become too high). There are two aspects of the movement, however, that make it hard to fully unwind and immerse oneself in this game. First, there's bouncing. Occasionally, the ball jumps like it's life depended on it, probably around 4 times higher than normal. It happens unpredictably: sometimes when I'm expecting a typical rebound, sometimes when merely turning around a corner, sometimes when I'm traveling in a straight line with no bumps. It wouldn't be so bad if the sudden airtime allowed me to turn quickly enough to stay over a curving track. But far too often the giant bounce throws me off the track with no possible recovery, ending the run. Secondly, even worse, is the momentum stop. Just as sporadically as the giant bounce, I'll not so seldom have my ball just stop completely, losing all ability to resist falling off the track. This is a guaranteed run killer unless I happen to be on completely zero inclined track. Just last round, my ball stopped AND teleported way off the track. These bouncing and momentum stopping glitches can only be handled so much with reflexes and controls. Most of the time, they, not your skill as a player, determine your high score, kinda taking the fun and challenge out of it. I wish that weren't the case.

Please add more control options!!. The game is fun, intense, and rather entertaining, but I’ll always find myself missing a jump because I was just slightly off on hitting the arrows. If you could add motion controls or permanent/bigger control settings that would be great.

Great game. This game is a completely awesome arcade experience. The fade - out is annoying when you start though after a few minutes of playing you realise it is completely necessary. Overall an AWESOME game!

Highly addictive. Very good game love the music and although it is quite hard (hence the name) I still come back to it every time.

Very engaging and fresh. Love the game since the beginning. Some improvements needed (if opinionated) are multiplayer including time trials. Different game modes such as collecting tokens or coins could diversify the game a little. Nonetheless, its quite an addicting game :)

The title of the game says all. A Impossible game does not always equals a fun game. There so many glaring holes in this game it would take too long to list them all. From the time it takes to respawn which infuriates the player more than anything to being booted of the track from the overly bouncy ball. There is a good concept at the core of this game but there is so much that needs improving that I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Pathetic excuse for a game.. The difficulty is no problem. What is a problem is that this game is so bare and lacking any content. I could make this game in a few hours. I'm sure anyone could! I've made way better games than this 💩, I don't understand how the developers can think the can charge money for this. Luckily I got it for free, so for that I give it one star. To the devs: Want advice? Take this abomination off the app store. It is unsalvageable.

Hmmm. Certainly is impossible if you don't tell people how to play it!! Try an initial splash screen with instructions!! How about for the first few slow it down a little and then speed it up once you get past a certain number. Don't think this will lasting long on my phone. Sorry.

Very good. -1 star for missing features. -1 star for app instability A fantastic game, i play it a lot. It is difficult to get the hang of, but (unlike one previous review suggests) it is definitely a skill-based game. I have a high-score of over two hundred and regularly score >100 to demonstrate that you can indeed learn how to get better at this game. This game needs: -an in-game pause button -different colour scheme options -more road segments (loops, barrel rolls, maybe even jumps, etc) -easy mode (slower) to shut up those who say its too difficult Issues: -when i get to >~200, the app crashes. Every time. The highest ive got without it crashing is 206, but it has crashed at 207, 208, once as late as 223, but it always crashes. Please fix.

Addictive but no flow. For a game with such big holes in the gameplay (randomly generated road booting you off with no amount of skill that could save you) the penalty for death (time it takes to re-spawn) should be as close to zero as possible to achieve a fake sense of flow during the learning phase. As it stands, on runs where you inexplicably fall off due to random variance in the road become a rage-quit when they don't need to be that way. Great concept but could be better.

Far too difficult. I want a refund because the game is too hard. I rarely get a score above 1. Game would be VASTLY improved by the addition of a difficulty setting that slows things down so people who have just bought the game don't lose constantly (a very frustrating user experience).

Great game!. This is by far the best game I've played in a long time, very addictive. It's a great time waster or even fun in general.I think it's nearly perfect. You should add in a in-game pause button. A auto die or restart button when fading/falling to move the game quicker. A option to change the colours. And most important a gesture mode were you can tilt the device your using to move the ball. Also add in more sections of track E.G cork screws, loop the loops and barrel roles. A easy mode(Ball goes slower) and hard mode(ball goes faster). Please add in everything I mentioned this is a great app! Thanks for making it!

Perfect. This game is a perfect time-waster! And that's a good thing because isn't that what you want in a mobile game? If you 30 seconds to just chuck away here and there, this game is exactly what you need! And if you looking for something more in depth, buy it anyway because it is simple and downright fun!

AMAZING GAME. I looked at all the reviews and I thought well done game creators, you made a bad game. I saw most of them saying that it was way to hard. HELLO!? THE GAME IS CALLED IMPOSSIBLE ROAD! CAN YOU READ PEOPLE?! That's what I thought. I played this and have so far gotten a score of 40! It's hard and I don't like hard but I kept falling and getting those points like mad! Intense music and amazing graphics. I rate this 5 stars!

OFF CENTRE. I know this is going to sound really petty, but the A in 'Again' is off centre. Now this wouldn't be a problem, if the ball didn't shrink into it off-centre, it goes off a bit to the right. PLEASE FIX OR MY OCD WILL KILL ME Otherwise an amazing game

Um what the heck is with the reviews. I love this game, it is so fun and addictive, but what's with all these people saying it's too difficult to play?? One review down there said they rarely got past 4??? Huh???? My record is like 35???? People do realise you can skip certain parts of the track by jumping off and relanding before the time runs out, right????? Sure it was hard to begin with but jeez have you ever played a video game before, just keep playing till you get the hang of it.

Really good game. I really like it. It's fun to play a couple rounds every now and again I would defiantly recommend it to my friends. Although I don't like how when you die the ball doesn't fall back into the exact middle of the A but instead falls slightly above and to the left.

Hmm. Interesting. I get that it's supposed to be impossible, but how about a possible version that you can actually play for more than 5 seconds at a stretch? Then you could make a base-jumping app mixing the start of lord of the rings pt 2 with the space jump scene from the last Star Trek movie and everyone's happy.

ADDICTIVE. This game is so amazing and awesome I have shown all my friends. I think this should be number 1 in top charts. It is really come and relaxing game, but when you get close to beating your high score it gets intense. You start to love it when you become good.

Another game that is close to perfection. "It's like a roller coaster. Except you control the cart." Impossible Road is a game where you play as a white ball, trying to stay on a blue road. The thing is, it's almost impossible to stay on. My high score is 28, and that was my second try. The flaws with this game include: -Takes a while for you to re spawn -Lags sometimes Rating: 9.3/10 Tl;dr, conclusion A great game with some lag.

Best Play While You Wait EVER!!. When I write it, I mean it. This is absolutely the best PWYW I have ever played and I doubt, other than possible bugs, will need much updates, although I do recommend a customisation feature whereas you can change the way the track and sphere looks. Addictive. My greatest, most addictivest game, a unique take on a stale genre, beautiful art style game Also, needs far more patterns. As appealing it is, bottlenecks and curves only go so far There should be more maps, things like loops and corkscrews, so that when you see the path in front of you it blows your mind, as opposed to the current messy looking strong path there currently is

Needs an update. This game is not worth $3.00 even though i enjoy it. Make an update where you could have coins along the road and with the coins customise the ball or the road. You could also have different modes like levels where you have to try and get an amount of points or something. I do like this game but it does need improvements.

Definitely Worth Playing. I've been playing this game for endless hours and I can safely say, this game is worth downloading for. It's another one of those games that gets addictively hard meaning that you get addicted to playing it BECAUSE it is hard to exceed in. Needs updates. Very good time-waster! Approved :)

AWESOME!. This game is a very addictive game and very much about beating your high score. It depends whether you are a person who likes hard games or not, I know I love hard games... But now I have gotten a hi-score of 64 and I don't know how I'm meant to beat that... But I'm sure I will still be very addicted to this game. That's why I'm giving it a 5/5!!!

I love the game and how it currently is however there’s one thing that I’d like to change The ball bounces I love this feature but I’d also like another version but it just doesn’t bounce because a lot of my deaths in the game are because it just bounces on the bumps I’d love for the game to have two versions of playing the original and my idea

This game needs some improvement!. Yes this game is hard... It's in the title. I actually find it the addictive kind of hard. The kind where you just want to beat your high score and when you do it feels amazing. I really enjoy the mechanics of this game as I haven't experienced this type of gameplay before. There is an improvement I would want. Instead of making a little tiny arrow to move on either side, make it the left and right side of the screen, or bigger bars, because I find myself halfway through a game and then I go to tap, but because I'm concentrating I miss the supposed arrow spot and miss the platforms. At least have an option at the very least. That's my only improvement. As for a difficulty setting everyone wants. Maybe a tutorial level to teach the mechanics to people? The difficulty is part of the game so I don't know why they are buying it.

Utter waste. I have no idea why there are so many 5 star reviews... must be boys or something. The controls are on screen only and have a variable sensitivity. You'll be going ok and then the steering will have super lag and you're done. If it always turned at the same rate you could actually build skill. As it is, it is only impossible because you'll delete it after 10 minutes and never play again. Will be applying for a refund.

The Best! Update ideas!. This game is an awesome time waster. I am so addicted and play it so many times a day. In an update could you make an option so you can change the track or background to different colours instead of blue and white for more variety. Keep up the great work!

VERY Overpriced. For almost $5 you would expect quite a lot of features but that is where this game falls short. Not a poorly made game at all, quite fun to play actually but not even that addictive and far too expensive.

Good, but with a problem.. Despite a tidal wave of negative feedback from players, I honestly find the game quite enjoyable. With practice, you’ll find yourself gliding easily down the slopes without to much trouble, and mastering those turns suddenly becomes easy. However, the game lacks detail and has no difficulty settings. The only customisation included is the ability to change the colour of the tracks. This game is costs 5 dollars, but in reality is worth about 5 cents. There are simply so many similar games that overtake it by far. After a few weeks, I found that I got bored of the predictability of the game, and was yearning for something new.

Best game. I think that this game is full of fun trying to beat your high score every single time on a random course that is impossible to stay on . In my opinion this game is worth what it is. It is a great game that should played by any age.

Didn’t like it. I don’t mind “impossible” games but this just seems needlessly difficult. “Daddy Long Legs” is fun because gives every appearance that it ought to be hard and yet the control is very simple. This game feels impossible because the controls make it difficult, rather than the goal being difficult, which just feels frustrating. I understand that some people enjoy the challenge - just not me.

Impossible is right!. Glad I got this in the App of the Week promo, I would have been incensed if I'd paid money! I know it says "impossible" in the name, but it's definitely not just a whimsical name. The one time I scored more than 10 it was as much by accident as anything else. Controls are fussy, my thumbs would keep moving off the screen. Why not make it tilt steering? Definitely needs some attention to variability of difficulty as other reviewers have mentioned. As for me I deleted it after 10 minutes, and I've only done that once before. Life is too short to have something so frustrating disguised as a "game".

Speed Bump Bug. Great game, my high score is 173 and when I play I stick to the road, but sometimes I hit this weird invisible speed bump and that's what usually gets me killed, please fix!

One of the best games I've ever played. This game is amazing. I realise that it is hard but it is very addictive. My high score is 80 and I love the game very much. The only problem is sometimes I have not enough time to jump back on the tracks. If they could increase the fall time by a little then this game is 100%

To the developers. Can never see the track when I go off the edge as the ball is in the way!! Make the ball go clear when you fall off or something. The controls don't need 2 hands either, you could do it with a slider and a single thumb. Needs more thought. But it's getting there!

Fantastic high skill game. Review below me says the fade out is not necessary, but I think it is. One clever mechanic of the game is that the course isn't linear. You can roll off the road and land on another segment of the track, and whatever number gate you go through will be your score. You will have the same score as someone who went through the first 30 gates if you miss the first 29 gates and go through the 30th gate! However, you can only have so much air time, and air time is visually represented by a fading screen. When the screen goes fully white, it's game over. Highly recommended for nice soundtrack, incredible graphics and gameplay that reminds me of another classic, super hexagon

Awesome and Addictive. Sort of game you can waste 10-15 mins spare time, to sum up this game in one short sentence : awesome 3d non-linear endless runner. Would be nice to beagle to change colours. And the fade out is there to stop randomly jumping about, with out no skill would be required

Copyright?. This game seems a bit familiar... I know it now... Mario 64 in the frozen world you have to do a penguin slide. This is extremely similar too similar? The only differnce is there is no penguin and it's a lot less detailed. Seems kinda weird we have phones that are better than a Nintendo 64 and we get ripp off games with worse graphics then 15+years ago. What is happening with these games where you need to pay for them and they give you nothing

Good game - very very hard to play. I like this game but I’m too feeble to play it. I find the controls overly sensitive and the speed too fast. I think I’d need about 30 espressos to play properly. I like the style and the music a lot. For the developer/s - add difficulty options that adjust speed &/ sensitivity - add an option to immediately start a new game after fail. The transition between scenes is too long.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!. In my opinion, this is the best game I've ever seen. It is really fun and totally worth the money. There is no adds or leg and is super addictive!! Don't change anything impossible road!

Horrid Gameplay. I uninstalled the game after 5 minutes. Gameplay is punishing rather than rewarding. The difficulty curve is non-existent (impossible is a good name for the game). You would have to give me money to keep playing this.

Rip off and definitely not worth the money. This game is way too much money, a usual arcade game is 0.99 to 2.99. But 3.99 is way to much money for a game that is too hard to control and that is simple. Th e only thing good in my opinion, is that there is no ads and that you have unlimited turns.

Difficult = Fun Impossible = Not so fun. I was expecting difficulty from the name but I thought the gameplay would provide the challenge, not the bad controls or the ball obstructing 1/3 of the screen. Random level generation also adds to the frustration with no learning curve and many tracks that are actually impossible. A shame since more visibility and well designed tracks would have turned this waste of my time into a good time waster.

Fun game!. This game is really fun and all but after a couple of rounds, it started lagging like crazy! I couldn't even see where the ball was moving, it was so so so laggy. I tried closing the app, restarting the app, re-installing it. But nothing changed. I thought it was worth the money but I didn't know that I would only be able to play it for less than 25 rounds.

Don't buy. The controls are horrible. I thought I could get use to it but nope. I feel like they are either way to fast and precise or it's like turning a bowling ball in went cement. Hard to see the track, a translucent ball or making the ball smaller would be nice, and just having the ball zoom in on the screen like that, horrible. It fills 80% of that screen and you can't see a thing. The tracks themselves, I'm sure you were going for some sort of random track system but when it's so bouncy and you fly off the edges even holding that button, and you are flying down and you can't catch up to the track... just horrible. I'm glad I didn't buy this and I am not recommending to anyone.

Casual. This game is meant to be something that you play when you want to do something while waiting for food, or anything else that you need to wait for. I know that most people were expecting a game to progress through but it's really a pass time game and I'm fine with that,but if that's not what you're looking for then don't get it, I got this game during the free appreciate of the week and I love it.

Good but not great. This game is very fun and challenging but I think that there should be levels and you have to get a certain distance to beat the level and go to the next level. Not just the same road and trying to beat your high score.

Seems like a waste of money. Looks like fun, but impossible to control. There is time for maybe one little twitch to left or right before the game takes control away from you causing the ball to fall into rmpty space, and 5 seconds later the game is over. Quite the rip-off.

Good Game! Custom themes Plz. This is a really cool and addicting game but I think it would be even better if u could make custom themes. Like so you could choose your own track pattern and u could choose the the two colours from a colour pad. That would be really cool

Buyers remorse.... I hate myself for buying this game... I gave it 2 stars because I have a big heart, even though I hate this game more than cabbage. Have you had cabbage? A minute into this disaster I found myself angry, and wanting to kick a puppy, but I'm not like that... So I found a stuffed plush puppy and gave it the boot! I would never of done that if it had a pulse, but I was angry! Minutes, hours, and days had gone by before I recovered enough to dive back into this game. I was nervous, vulnerable and lonely, but I started... Only to fall right off the track again! It's times like this that I wish I was a gamer instead of this huge muscular stallion... This game has resulted in me not shaving, not showering, not caring about anything anymore! I stopped calling my fiends, and I'm debating on moving out of my mothers basement... Yet this game gets rave reviews?! How? I have never needed a hug this bad in my whole life... I find myself pacing inside the game stop at the mall, hoping to find someone that has gone through all that I have... Please forgive the bad rating, but I literally can blame my recent depression on this garbage. Sometimes I get wasted drunk and try to run on the treadmill because I love a challenge. I have broken my pelvis and shattered my spleen and yet I still get more joy than playing ball on bumpy hill game... I'm done...

A nice app. This is one of the better games I've seen hit the AppStore in quite a while, and for some reason it's style appeared compelling enough to bring me to part with the full two dollars of its value, an expensive price at best. The game is very fun, and initially you'll probably spend twenty minutes getting the hang of the game. Beyond that, it's likely to be played in five minute spurts due to its simple and feature-lacking nature. However, it's still fun to return to here and there. There is room to improve, especially given the premium price: accelerator control should definitely be added as an option, although I'm honestly quite pleased with the touch controls for a couple reasons: my ability to comprehend the track isn't obscured by a moving screen, and I needn't tilt my phone all over the place. thus attracting the attention of neighboring passengers on a train or other public transportation. Other things to improve upon include the ball perhaps having some definition against the white background, all though this really won't affect gameplay in the long run. What would however affect gameplay is the ability to see the track through the ball while attempting to land. All things considered, a good game, but it should really only be $0.99

Some people, man.. The game is called "Impossible Road." You think people would be able to glean from that title that this is not a game designed to be easy. Simple, yes, but never easy. And that is where its beauty lies. Like other popular retro-inspired games with insane difficulty levels (think Super Hexagon and Super Crate Box), Impossible Road relishes in the fact that it is relentlessly brutal to the player. Yet it's also consistent in its difficulty. Sure, there will be times where you slip off the edge and fall into the vast white nothingness below you, and you will probably swear and want to throw your iDevice across the room. But the rewards are there too if you are willing to take the time for them. You see, everything about this game - the graphics, the sound, the exact timing of how long you can drop before the game ends - are tailored to be perfectly frustrating, but fair enough that you want to give it just one more round. And then when you do have that one more round where you are falling, on the verge of passing your high score, and then your ball hits the path that you just barely thought you could make and you hear the "bloink bloink bloink" of forty missed gates all suddenly accumulating... well, that's what this game is all about. If you don't have the patience or skill to get there, it's probably not for you.

Literally impossible. There’s a challenge and then there’s this. It’s not fun when the ball cant be controlled no matter what you do.

Fun and difficult, lack of options for controls makes it suffer. The game is great, you control a white ball down a crazy course with no walls. If you fall off the course the game will let you recover by "skipping" some check points and landing on the track below. If you land back on the track after falling the game resumes and the camera shifts to put you back on the course correctly. But my problem was not with the difficulty, it was with the lack of options for the controls. The controls are these 2 tiny little arrows on the edge of the screen, but if your finger doesn't touch exactly on this arrow you could see your ball just going straight as you frustrate with the controls to resume command, but by then you missed the track and fall until the game resets. To make this game good, they need more then 1 control option like tilt control and push control but make the arrows the entire side pushable. And change the sensitivity at which the ball can be controlled left and right, how fast it can turn basically. Then the game becomes about skill and landing these cool jumps. Game reminds me of jumping the tracks on mario kart 64 on rainbow world, the nostalgic feeling came back when i played this and if they can get the controls right, then they got themselves a good game.

Great!. This game is close to perfect. However I have to refer to some of the previous reviews talking about variety of the balls, maybe a different backdrop, gravity settings and difficulty settings. This game is great! I would love to see a pause button, and maybe some achievements. There was one other thing I came here to say, but got distracted with all the other good Ideas. Great game, can't wait for the next update! I remember! I want there to be more time between the ball falling off the track and the game resetting. I think it'll help some people, such as myself, tremendously towards achieving a higher score. Just a few more seconds would make a world of difference. Or maybe even a toggle where you choose how much time you want to give yourself, where you can even turn it off and fall forever and eventually work your way back over to the track. However, ending the game in a mode such as that, presents other issues to be worked out... I really look forward to the next update, and had no intentions of my review being this long.

Read this.. This game is absolutely amazing. The design is simple, clean, and beautiful. To you potential buyers, a lot of people are giving this game a bad review because it is "too hard". Of course it's hard. It is called the impossible road after all. At first you will get frustrated because you won't get past 3. But eventually, you'll be able to learn the mechanics of this game and obtain one high score after another. After about a week of playing I scored my current high score of 164. You'll figure it out eventually. This game offers the perfect amount of challenge along with the perfect amount of excitement. The concept is simple: roll a ball down a road. The objective: get as far as you can without falling off. The road is randomly generated each time, so you never experience the same road twice. This makes the objective even harder. This game is highly addicting and is very satisfying to play. Overall, I give 5 stars. I wish there were more gimmicks though (such as the road narrowing). This an absolutely beautiful game.

Unplayable. The game was working fine for a long time albeit with the occasional lag here and there but now it’s unplayable after the new update. Please fix!!

Turning. I realized that the turning is way too wide for corners. So basically I always go flying off the edge and cannot recover.

Complete waste of money. As other reviewers have stated, the idea is good but the controls are very poor. Not at all fun and extremely frustrating – do not buy this.

Simple and challenging. You control a ball rolling down a road with numbered gates in order spread along its length. When your ball crosses a gate, that number becomes your score. You press the left and right side of the screen to steer the ball until it goes 5 seconds without hitting the road again and lose, which happens often because the ball isn't glued to the road. You fly off the track if you fall off the sides or go over a bump. You really have to master all kinds of track to stay on the road long enough to score 50, but the game doesn't end after falling off the road. Those 5 seconds give you enough time to try and steer the ball back to the track. The ball will bounce like crazy after this, so it isn't easy. It does add a lot of great moments not knowing if you can get back after falling. You start out not being able to make the first turn, then eventually you will get to tilted turns, thinner track, and almost 90 degree track sections. After around gate 50, there's nothing else new, and it becomes knowing what to do and hoping you don't screw up. The game is fun before and after that point, given you want to be endlessly falling down an impossible road.

Great Game but it could have a little more in it.... This game is great and is really fun and addictive, but it could use a little more stuff to do. It could have like different balls, different roads, different backgrounds, and maybe some kind of trail behind the ball, all of which u can get with coins or some kind of currency. This currency could be received as a reward at the end of a run, with the amount being determined by your score plus extra coins that are placed around the road and can be collected. You could also make challenges to complete that reward currency, balls, road styles, and backrounds. There could even be a way to customize your own ball and be able to play as it as well as share it with other people, and a way to upload your custom ball and let anyone see it and "download" it, and the person who originally made the ball would get rewards for people using their custom ball. Some more things that could be added are road themes, new obstacles, different difficulties, new game modes, power ups, and maybe even some kind of level editor/creator, where you can create your own roads and play them, along with sharing them with other people. There could also be daily rewards that give the things I was talking about earlier. Another thing that could be added is more game center achievements/challenges. So yea, overall, the game itself is a great game, but it could use more things like the things that I said.
