Join 700,000+ other musicians using Tunable and turn your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch into the best chromatic tuner, tone & chord generator, metronome, and recorder — so you can learn to play steadily, in tune, and on beat anywhere you go. Featuring a unique “tuning history” display for visualizing pitch over time and easy to use metronome and recorder, Tunable is the perfect toolkit for beginning to professional musicians.
◆ Learn to play in tune with sustained pitch history
Visualize how steadily you play or sing. As notes are held out, a white line draws how steady the pitch is. The straighter the line, the more consistent the pitch.
◆ Improve your ear with tone and chord generator
Need a reference tone or chord? Use the tone and chord generator to play and sustain chords with various tone options. Choose from different temperaments to hear how they compare.
◆ Keep tempo with an accurate and simple metronome
See the pulse with a visual metronome. View subdivision and current beat, with a large display and (optional) visual flash.
◆ Record and share
Record your practice and performances. Add reverb for a professional sound. Share recordings through e-mail, SoundCloud, Dropbox and more.

I really want to like this app but it's hard to when I get a microphone error message every time it updates. I mean, come on. Get the bug together. It's also a little hard to navigate the settings and the metronome at first, but after a few months you get it. I give it a 3 because when it is working it works great.
I've only used the tuning part of the app. I like it a lot, easy to see the indicators, the colors are especially helpful. I can tune even with some background noise.
I play classical guitar. This application makes tuning effortless and has also replaced my conventional metronome. One fewer piece to carry and maintain in my kit! The recording facility is basic, but very useful, as it integrates with cloud services and allows you to push recordings fast to your computer and others!
I bought it for the time generator and love it. The tuner and metronome are awesome as well! Great app!
Great tuner. Very precise. Could have better drones I.e. Pipe organ drones but that's just getting nit picky. Doesn't work well with Bluetooth equipment, but that's an easy fix and on it's way, I'm sure
Excellent resource. I have only used the tuner but I love how accurate it right up to the cent.
I like this tuner a lot, it has everything I need to play the saxophone except music
This app is easy to read, easy to use. I tune handmade musical instruments and this app allows me to choose the frequency and intonation options I need. It's seems quite accurate and it is a necessity for my work. I think the metronome is wonderful too, because it allows me to choose odd meters with divisions. Nice app. Highly recommended.
Most useful tuner I have ever come across. Turns tuning into a game. The drone pitches are also extremely helpful. This app has helped me develop as a professional musician. I use it literally every day.
Im one of those dumb people who has played the violin for 13 years and has never learned to read music properly or knows how to read basic sheet music. I learn by ear... I actually downloaded this and another tuner. The other tuner won hands down and was free and simpler to use. Im not trying to advertise so I wont name it. Im requesting my money back please.
A rare combination of both tuner and metronome. Def a success
This is really best tuner in app store .just download this app .you wont be repent.
I learned about this app through school last year, when we used Tunable on the iPads for orchestra. It never really crossed my mind until yesterday, when I realized a needed a better tuner and metronome when I was practicing. Having just received a gift card, I bought it. Like I said, I use this as a metronome as well as for checking intonation on really high stuff. The "circular keyboard" thing is very useful to help me get in tune, but I also use the tuner function for that. What really bothers me, though, is the metronome. Changing tempo is a breeze in the free "Pro Metronome" by simply spinning the wheel or tapping on either side, but in Tunable changing tempo is awkward and inefficient. The little bar at the bottom doesn't really help at all (it has a bunch of irrelevant tempos at inconsistent intervals), so I use the little box in the upper left corner. First of all, the box is TINY, so sometimes it is hard to hit the buttons on my iPad mini. Also, trying to use it to scroll up and down (which is supposedly faster than just tapping the buttons over and over) is very inaccurate, making it very slow and hard to get right. Secondly, every now and then the button will start glitching out. I try and slowly scroll upwards to find the tempo I want, but then it says the "down" button is being held, so the tempo begins moving down! This doesn't make any sense and needs a fix. One more issue I have with this app is the cross functionality. Several times I have used the metronome and tuner function together, which normally works fine. However, trying to speed up a section bit by bit is tedious (not because of its nature in this case). Every time I want to change the tempo, I have to change back to the metronome tab, use the annoying, inefficient box to crank it up by 10 or so, and then move back to the tuner tab. Having a little widget or something like that would fix this problem easily. Please fix these issues! Tunable is a very high quality app, but the little issues are irritating. Thank you for your time!
I really like this app. Savior to me know Orchestra! Would like it if there were Siri voice commands though.......
Please make A4 play instead of A3 when I press on the A button
Real time intonation on the vertical line makes it easy for students to visually see when tone is unsteady.
This app does it all ....tuner, drones, metronome, and records ....what else do you need ?
I play and teach trombone for a living. This is my tuner of choice and I always have it in my pocket! Great app for all devices (iPad, iPhone, etc).
