Good solitaire. Good game. Be careful you push the right button for replay or new. There's no way of quitting and returning to the game where you left off. My biggest complaint. It will go to the next one automatically and you will get an x for the game you were in the middle of.

One of my favorites. This is one of my favorite games. I just wish that recent updates for my iPad hadn't effected my ability to play the game. Since the update, the game is slow and glitchy, but I still play it. Can't wait for the next one!

One of the BEST. From lovely graphics to variety of play, this is a very enjoyable game. I will definitely buy Emerland 2 when it comes out. The best hint I've received from other players was to make use of the handy replay button when getting an X on any level.

Good game. I wish it would go back to where I left off but it starts with errors. Maybe I have not figured it out but it is a big problem. I should be able to get back to where I left off without losing that one game

Needs a Pause Button-Please Add One!. I am so very happy to see another card game from Big Fish! The graphics in this are truly amazing... The thing I hate about this game is that there is no ability to pause or to go back and play a level at a later date... There is a replay button yes, but if you are not happy with your score and want to go back let's say tomorrow and replay the level, it will end the level for you while you have the game minimized and count whatever cards were left on the screen against you... Unlike Fairway where you can go back and play the level later it's not possible with this game... If they fixed that I would be happy to give it 10 stars! If you want to be able to replay until you get the perfect game get Fairway HD Golf instead ;-)

Works with iOS 8!. The June 16, 2015 update finally has the game working with iOS 8. No more hanging or sloooowing way down to the point of frustration. This has always been my favorite solitaire game and is once more in that position for me. Thanks for finally updating to iOS 8!

Great Game. This game was pretty fun. It was a little challenging, but you can replay levels as much as you like. The story was pretty entertaining, but there was only one thing I found irritating. If you had to stop the game mid turn, you lost that game. I couldn't figure out how to pause it without losing the game.

Fun & interesting. I like the PC game and wanted it on my iPad too. Te iPad version is a lot different, but I like it as well.

More than just solitaire. I like that there are more than just card levels. The mini puzzles break up the game and the story is engaging. But, the home screen shows a second Emerland game but when I tapped it it just sent me to the review link??

Characters stopped speaking while playing game. I’ve played and loved this game for years, and just in the last few days the characters stopped speaking even though the volume and music and sound are working.

Very enjoyable game. I have really enjoyed this game. It has a fun story line, and the graphics are excellent. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is the inability to go back and replay any level. You have to replay the entire section.

Still love it. I have played this game for years. Love it and the music. I hope it will still work with future operating systems. It's better than other games that constantly badger you for money. I play it whenever I travel or just need to relax. I like how when you finish a level, you have the option of replaying it or going on to the next session. A negative of the game is if I get an X and try to exit the game. That X is final and I can't replay that section when I get back in. So I have to remember to not really exit but just quit out of the app as is. But I still love this game!

Lovely fun. Fun, beautiful game. The only draw back is there is no way to end play easily, you must be at certain areas or stages. It is an addictive play.

Could be a lot better. When you start to rise in levels, frequently you can’t play anything as there is a scarcity of diversity in cards. This is by design, not chance. Frustrating which then just becomes boring. There is no enjoyment in such an exercise. Also, no explanation as to what the various amulets do. Has a good concept but ridiculously difficult at times which is a huge turn off.

LOVE. Love this game! I do agree that I'd like to see a replay button on a previous level. Otherwise I don't get tired of this like I do other games of the same genre. Graphics are fabulous!

Emerald not so compatible with IOS8?. Wonderful game, but has not been the same since updating to ios8. Game has difficulty loading main screen, the actual game screen, sometimes it resolves into smooth fast play, but too often it freezes then unfreezes, freezes again and so on. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no joy. Please, Game Gods, look into this problem. Thanks for fixing bugs in ios8&9 back to enjoying a fave game.

Great, addictive. Love the game but I wish two things: 1. We can save and come back to continue later or a least that exiting is cancelling the part. (not saving that part of the game with the score at the moment we exit!) 2. We could replay one specific game not the whole part to improve the score

Fun but jerky action. I've been playing this game for some time and really liked it. After the last iOS upgrade, however, the game now lags, slows, becomes jerky so waiting for cards to turn over can be confusing as you don't know if you really tapped the card or it is just lagging. I did try reinstalling but no improvement. Please fix this!

Amazing game. I have only one complaint: the game slows down every so often to slow motion movements while playing. This is very annoying. This happens not only on the iPad, but also on the iMac. On the iMac the cursor also becomes totally useless, since one cannot point it to the cards one wants to play. Does anyone else have this issue and can this be fixed?

My favorite!. I've had this game on my mac computer for some time. I really love it!!! Sometimes I'll go through the game getting copper on each level, then play them all again getting silver, then gold (except the last level, I don't care for the flaming cards). So glad they have an iPad app!!!

Emerland Solitaire card game. I love this game,but since the up date on my I-pad it doesn't work right. The cards move at a very slow play. You touch a card to play and it moves in very slow motion. Sometimes it seems that the card isn't going to play. Please check into this problem and correct it. Thank you. If it gets corrected it will be a 5 star again. I even tried deleting and reinstalling but it still doesn't work

Great game but....... It is impossible to win. I am at the end......I think........and I am playing it over and over again. Now because its impossible and that makes it frustrating to me......I do not see this as a game I will want to replay. So the playabilty is gone. Other than that....it is a fun game.

Only fair. I played the solitaire games as instructed but some of the extras I was supposed to be able to use, didn't work. My wild cards didn't always work, either. When searching for caterpillars I used the pinch screen and found that the picture pixelated very badly, making the picture a blur. Is it worth the intro price of $2.99? I'm not sure. I'm not a big fan of solitaire, but this is a cute twist on an old game.

Fun game, one annoyance. At times if you leave the game, you won't be able to come back where you left off! You get a big X in your status. Have to play the entire series that that level is located in over again to improve your score. Brought it to the attention of Support. They just said don't leave the game until you've played the entire series of games in that level!! REALLY, Big Fish??? That's not how players play games!!

Love the game ... But. If you quit the game and you go back to play you can't go back and replay the level you were on, you can only replay the level if you continue to play and sometimes I don't have time for that. Other than that it's a great game.

Cards and Fun Story in One!. As a daily player of Fairway Solitaire, I was usually disappointed with other solitaire games. This game is both challenging as a card game, and exciting with mini games and a sideline story. The faux war between the wizards is amusing, and the prizes offered for perfect games are amusing, such as logs to rebuild a broken bridge. The tutorial was funny and instructive, and would definitely help new players to this game. Love it!

Emerland Solitaire - worth the $2.99. I enjoyed the game. It has beautiful colorful graphics and I enjoyed the different realms to assist. I think more unique puzzles in each realm after restoring each amulet would give it a little more variety. Overall, I appreciate a game that I can play as little or much as I want. I will add that when you exit during a hand of a level you should have the opportunity to replay that level instead of automatically getting the "X" of skipping or failing the hand. Thanks for the game.

Boring. Boring...so far it’s the same solitaire game over and over. Then I get to listen to the wizard (or whom ever) chat and chat. I like casual games, but this is just blah blah blah. Glad I didn’t spend the money to unlock the game.

Addictive!. I thoroughly enjoyed learning this card game and could hardly put it down. My only problem was when I did need to take a break, I'd come back to it and it had skipped a round every time. I couldn't go back to that round without losing my progress, so I missed the chance to play several hands.

Favorite game!. I love this game! I hope the developers come out with a second version or something similar (other than Avalon, I have that one too). I would also like a game with no objectives... Just a bunch of card layouts that the only goal is to clear them all.

Love it. Finally an alternative to Fairway Solitaire! However The amulet that lets you see the top card doesn't work for me. And the one that shows all available moves is so hard to see it's not useful so I sold both back. That's a nice feature, at least.

No free version to play just tutorial.. Wanted to play this game a bit to see how it is but after it takes you through the tutorial wants you to pay for the app. I did not buy it. I might have if I could have gone through a couple levels first and then be asked to buy before going further like many other games allow.

Premium Solitaire and Theme. Probably the cream of themed solitaire games and I've played many. Worth more than the price of $3. When your done with Fairway Solitaire make this your next game. Highly recommended.

Fun to a point. This was a GREAT game making solitaire really fun. But once I got to the 6th level you can't win and you just keep playing the same thing over and over and over. Up to that point is was great but then I just moved to another game.

Emerald solitaire great game. Before that last two iOS updates this game worked great on my iPad. Played it through twice. Loved it. Since my update to iOS 8.0, the game is sluggish, the cards pause in mid stream, everything slows down. Then runs ok for a while then slow again. This version need to be updated to run on iOS 8.0. Please fix. Enjoy the game very much it has a nice variety.

Curlysukgi. Love the game. If I'm interrupted there doesn't seem to be a way to pause the game and return to it to finish the screen. The game takes the current cards played and uses that for my score. That's frustrating.

Error. Game does not open on my new ipad

Di&Rich. This is a fun solitaire game with a lot of challenges. It has also a neat adventure line as well. Plus it allows for different players. Changes I would like to see: 1. An amulet that will allow you to go to any previous game to better your score. 2. A better way to choose what player is playing, for instance the player's name that last played should show. That way you know who is playing when you have multiple players.

Relaxing. An easy to learn game with lots of replay value. When you win the game, which you will, you have the option of creating a new persona and starting over. I would be interested in more games from this developer.

Emerland. The only thing keeping me from giving this a higher rating is the inability to pause in the middle of a "game". If you leave the game before you finish it and come back to it you are forced to play the next one instead of replaying the one you had been on, which gives you a big red X.

Love it. I love this game...BUT my only problem is how do I use the wild cards ? I keep playing the level over and over until I win it...would give it a 5 star except for the above mentioned problem... The graphics are great !

Chronicles of Emerland. I am really enjoying this game,but find it frustrating that there is no way to stop in the middle of a level then return later and continue from where you left off. Sometimes you HAVE to stop, but the level you are on will be X'd out. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star rating.

Chronicles of Emerland Solitare. I love this game,the different layouts are a challenge for me.
