The game is still broken. Used to love this game years ago. Sadly after having to upgrade my phone this game hasn’t been functioning properly on it. Waited a year or two for it to be fixed and the issue still remained. With everything being zoomed out and not being able to purchase anything in stores. Are the devs still here? Probably not. For those interested on playing the game, as long as you have an order iPhone it may still work but don’t buy it if you have the latest iPhone. This game won’t work as it has not been updated to run properly on newer devices it seems.

Lots of bugs - but good game if fixed.. Very fun game, but the amount of bugs makes it almost unplayable. It should either be fixed or taken off the App Store. Item store is messed up. Prices don’t display properly. To buy items you have to click in a blank dialogue box on the right hand side of the screen. When fishing, as you’re reeling up, the screen goes faster than your lure so you eventually can’t even see what fish your getting or not getting. When this happens, eventually the fish explode to the surface, except they don’t, and your trying to shoot fish as they fly up the water column with all the other fish that you didn’t catch. As someone who has paid for this game, please fix glitches, or refund my money. Thank you.

One of few I remembered and re downloaded. I am so happy that they updated this game for the latest iOS. I was bored the other week and remembered "that great fishing game" and found it on my purchased apps. I got the message about it not being compatible on the next iOS and had a panic attack. Well worth the money, my kid loves it too. Fun game, fun times, hours of entertainment. Offline play (which is rare these days, I'm looking at you, Mario Go) When I am offline is when I want to play!

IPhone X series?. Are you EVER going to update for iPhone X series or have you abandoned this game? Been a long time since any love has been given to this great game. Used to be my go to for easy fun time killing but haven't played much since other games look so sweet on the extra screen real estate. Thx.

Great game but needs visual fix. I loved this game on my iPhone 7, but now that I’m on the 11 pro the visuals are bugged. We are extremely zoomed out and the store and other things are misplaced or hard to hit. My one biggest problem is with the zoom out, I’m trying to unlock some of the final fish but since I’m to zoomed out and see to many fish, I can’t use my life savers causing me to kill the “fish”( I’m trying not to spoil anything for new players)

Came back years later to play. My kids started playing this on their hand-me-down iOS devices and were in awe at my achievements! I came back to play and found it not very updated. Lot of scaling problems with the higher resolution phones… but who cares, it’s still a lot of fun. Dev, thanks for a fun game.

Broken. Used to be an awesome game but alas it has died. The developer has stopped support meaning that it no longer works properly on larger resolution devices and new OS versions. The basic first part of the game is playable but to advance you need to use the store spending in game points… except the resolution scaling is so bad that you can’t click or see half of anything so therefore it cannot be played to advance

UI is messed up. Game is not updated for newer devices. The UI renders the game completely unplayable because you can’t make upgrades. The prices and buy buttons are hidden behind items in the shop. It’s an old game and the developer has clearly moved on and isn’t interested in updating it, which I get, but it’s a pretty big bummer. This was one of the best games on mobile.

Scaling issues. Use to play this game in the past, and it’s honestly it’s a fun game, but now, if you don’t know what your doing, it’s gonna be annoying to navigate, as the game really needs an update, which it’s most likely not gonna get, as the last update was 4 years ago Issues involve the fisherman, fish, and hook being very small, along with certain textures being out of place like the background of the in game phone The store is the right size, however the Buy button is invisible

Quite a Remarkable Game, but... I love this game, i’ve played this game for years and i’ve wanted to play it again recently, but as soon as I downloaded it, I saw that the UI and interface are all messed up, the visuals are not how they’re supposed to be, and I wish that could be fixed so we could all enjoy the game again. I use an Iphone 8 plus and i’ve also heard this “bug” affects IPhone X’s, and it’d just be a dream come true if we got an update for this. I wouldn’t even want them to add anything to the game, just to make it playable. Because to me it’s already perfect as it is, it’s just this minor inconvenience that really doesn’t allow anyone to play or get the full experience.

Almost there but......... Dear God, all that I ask of you is in this year 2017 is that if you could/would find it in your heart to help these developers finally find their folder w/ all of the content updates on them. Possibly the best casual game on the iPhone. I have been playing this game since day one, and I can’t believe that it has t lost its appeal. No ads, simple mechanics and pretty good sense of humor. My only complaint is that it’s in a very very small aspect ratio on the modern iPhones.

Wow.. Just wow. This game made me cry at the end. I recommend this to everyone. Even if you hate fishing. To the levels to the fish you can just tell the developers put their heart and soul into this game. I have loved this game since it came out and I still keep replaying it. Amazing work. Thank you.

Once a grand game, languishing for want of an update…. Ridiculously funny game with a good sense of humor. Sadly, the last update “for newer devices” isn’t current, and a lot of screens (like even the 8 plus I’m still using) leave basic UI elements misplaced. Notably, the “buy” element in the store, critical for advancing the storyline at all, isn’t usable. If you have an old, old device — yeah, older than mine, go for it. Billy’s journey is memorable, and finding the deepest fish to blow sky high is as ridiculous as it gets. But until this is updated, if you’ve a modern device, you’ll be stuck like me in the shallow end of the pond. Can’t even buy the fishing cap!

Thank you for updating the game, but... I was hoping that the next update would be that big update with all the extra content. But it's been 3 years I should probably let go.

Best Fishing Game on the App Store. I have spent over $1,000 in games for iOS, and I can say with confidence that I regret 99% of my purchases. This game, however, from the moment I bought it and up to today, has always been worth it. It combines a unique approach to iOS games that rely on movement of your phone with a story that will make you laugh and cry. The story is emotional and well told, but also completely unessential to the gameplay. If you just want that high score, you don’t have to pay attention to the story, because it doesn’t matter! If you want it though, the story is there for you, with it’s loving message about family and redemption. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a realistic fishing game, but I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play a fun game that combines the most essential parts of life: fishing, hunting, and family. P.S. There are many clones of this game, please don’t buy them. Ridiculous Fishing was made by the original developers of Radical Fishing, the first game that combined fishing with throwing fish in the air and shooting them. This is the original game, don’t pay for clones!

Game is glitched. I used to love playing this when I was bored but now ever since an update happened making the screen more zoomed out it hasn’t functioned right. The shop is very blurry and the option to buy items are glitched behind the items. I’ve tried deleting and re installing several times but it doesn’t help, i know Im not the only one with this problem because I’ve seen it in other reviews. So overall I love this game but you guys need to fix this.

My favorite iOS game of all time. I’ve been using iOS since the App Store. This is easily my favorite game. For 5-6 years I’ve hoped for a vol. 2, content pack, or something similar but it’s never come. I’ve honestly deleted the app and cleared the data just to replay it. This is worth whatever it’s being sold for these days. It’s a fantastic game.

Fun, but NEEDS an update. I remember playing this game a while ago and it was fun. But I downloaded it recently and realized the visuals were all messed up, I read the other reviews and realized that many people were experiencing the same issues, so we would all appreciate if the owner of the game could update it or someone else does a remastered version of this.

A Cry for Support. Ok, the title for this review may be a bit over exaggerated but I seriously do like the game. I just need help with what the game and its display. The buttons work great but on my screen (IPhone 12), they display only in the top right corner. Correct my if I’m wrong but I believe the game may be thinking I’m on an Apple Watch or it’s just a genuine bug. If anyone, but especially Vlambeer sees this review, please help, the game looks amazing and I’d like to enjoy it myself

Memories. I played this awhile ago with my dad I redownloaded it and reset my data. This game if you know what you’re doing is about 3-4 hours long (if you cheat by changing time on your iPad/phone) But this brought me to tears... the ending just the memories from when I was younger. I know this haven’t been updated but it’s a lovely game with all heart poured into it. I would love a sequel even though that probably won’t happen. Thank you to the devs. And thank you to all the people who enjoy this game

Abandoned. This game desperately needs an update to be compatible with the latest devices and iOS. I adored playing this on my iPhone 5S back when it released, but it's broken and unplayable on my iPhone 12. Unfortunately, it appears that the developer has thrown in the towel and future updates likely won't happen. If you are wanting to buy this game in 2021, you will be wasting your money. You unfortunately missed out on what was once one of the best iPhone games available.

Don’t buy!. I have just bought the game because I played on a different device and enjoyed it. The concept is great but I have an iPhone 8 plus and the format is awful it will not let me view anything or buy anything from the store it says I have no coins but I do I’ve tried deleting it and re-loading it turning off my phone and turning it back on it’s just awful I wish I could get a refund.

Still fun….if a little broken now. I’ve played through this game a couple times, but this recent download shows that the game is in desperate need of an update. Scaling is SUPER weird on some of the objects in the game. And when browsing the store the text doesn’t show in the cream area where it should. It’s over the wood making it hard to read. And even if it WAS in the cream area…your character and boat cover some of it. All that being said, this game is still super fun and I definitely recommend it.

Good game but could use an update. I played this game on my Iphone 5 and se and loved it. I recently got it for my 11 max and it was very small, some things were hard to read, and the shop was kinda low res. Its still a great game and worth the money but it really could use an update.

Hey Vlambeer,. I annoyingly missed the Frozen Billy cutscene because my friend texted me. I accidentally pressed the notification and my game crashed when I quickly re-opened it. Now, everything in the game is suddenly extremely different, and I don’t know why. Could you people at Vlambeer somehow send me a video of it? I’m extremely disappointed.

Please update.. Terrific game. I love it and played the life out of it on my iPhone 5. I now am playing it on my iPhone x and it doesn't function the best. The UI is misplaced, things are a bit small, buttons are missing, and the price of the items are hidden behind the store selection. I understand the game is old and I might be asking for too much. But I just want a well working version. Forget optimize I just want it to be more playable. People deserve to have the full experience on newer devices as well. Either way I’ll have fun this second playthrough, but I wish this was more functional.

Amazing, amazing, amazing game. Played through this game about 8 times in my life haven’t seen 1 ad or in game purchase it’s short and with no new update it’s hard to play BUT still playable I will never stop loving this amazing game. The BEST. I got this app years ago and played it once. So, the other day, I’m on hour 4 of a 6 hour plane ride, and I’ve listened to all the music and audiobooks I can tolerate. I’m scrolling through my phone looking for something new and I find this preposterous thing! Two hours later, my wife has to nudge me to say the plane has landed and I have to get off. She thought I’d lost my mind, all the more so when I tried to explain the premise of the game. The thing is, there is no barrier to entry. Any idiot can play instantly. But there’s a lot to learn - rolled out at just the right pace. And no jamming you up for money. What a breath of fresh air! And the humor in the game is just the greatest - no small part of its appeal. This is just perfect for withdrawing from the world yet retaining the ability to rejoin, reluctantly, if needed. The best!!!

Glitches. I love this game. It is so addicting. However, when I try to purchase an item, the buy button is behind the icons so I can’t push it. This happened while playing it on my IPhone 12. Fix this for a better rating.

Buy this game. So when I bought this game three years ago, I described it as a wonderful game and thought that it could be enhanced with updates and more content. With the price that was paid for this game, I expected either a little longer game (beat in approximately 4 hours collectively) or updates to supplement me with more game play but neither has happened. I guess it's time to face reality and give up on this old horse. It's still a great game but don't expect anything more then what you purchased. Heck, I was surprised that there was even a compatibility update.

BEST. This is one of those rare solid gems of a game; on par with games like FTL, The Executive, Out There, Hoplite. Brings you many hours of melancholy happiness and makes you forget about other stuff for awhile. Please make more games. This is a masterpiece... although not like the company who made Out There 2... which got worse

Game was really fun, can we update for newer phones?. Game was a blast on my iphone 6S. But with my newer Iphone, the UI is misplaced and screen icons too small. Still playable, but would be awesome if they could adjust the UI to current phone resolution. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star for fun.

Not compatible with iPhone 12. Extremely disappointing to spend $3 on a game and for it to be so outdated that the UI doesn’t even work on the latest iPhone. The description lies sayings it’s compatible but this is far from the truth. Everything is off centered and shrunk. You’re left with black filler bars across the top and bottom of the screen. The most disappointing purchase you can make.

Update needed!!. I ADORE this game. The art is beautiful and the story is minimalist and sweet. The gameplay is addictive and engaging without being too difficult. This is one of the few games that, on my first play through, I worked hard to unlock all of the hard-to-catch species. All that being said, this app NEEDS a compatibility update. I can’t play it on my current device. I know things have been a little quiet, but if the developer sees this, I hope they’re able to revisit the game to make it compatible on newer devices! Thanks for letting me fish ridiculously!

Plz update this game!!!. I Love the idea of a good grinding game and this is the one for me, but sadly I notice that the game is having a lot of problems: 1. When you start the game the menu and everything is too small to see what you are doing, 2. The store function works ok, however I cannot tell of if I bought something or not and that’s one of many other problems with this game. I hope that the developers have the time to fix these issues as soon as possible. I still think that this game deserves to have a good 5/5 star rating if these issues were fixed then maybe many people would have a better experience with this the same as I do.

Update please. This is a great game. It’s needs an update so badly its almost impossible to play now as you advance in the levels. Please give this one an update or release a newer better version. If you keep making them I’ll keep playing them.

Barely playable, needs rescaling.. While I am excited for the Apple Arcade version to be dropping soon, I do hope this gets reworked as well as I live and work in parts of the world without internet connection. It is a really enjoyable game with great replay value as I keep coming back to it. The graphics are great and fit the feel of the game.

A beautiful game lost in fine.. I understand that friendships fail and family is not always guaranteed - but if a game is not optimized for modern phones, it should not be sold. This was my favorite game when the App Store started to really pick up, but it’s dishonest to continue making money off of the game while not providing the rather minimal effort required to ensure it fits on all platforms. Either fix it or take it down, but people can’t play the game in the quality it’s in right now - and 3.4 stars implies the game is not only decent, but playable as well.

Still Playable!. This app needs an update for sure, but you can progress through the game. I am running an iPhone XS and have gotten far in this game. Issues: - Scaling: fish and fisherman are small - Backgrounds for phone / Fishopedia / Byrdr are unscaled (text is more readable in some of the locales than others depending on the different sky colors) - Money and gas meter are very small - Money meter is in the top middle of the screen instead of the far right - Shop screen is correct scale but the “buy/equip” button is invisible (you can still touch the area under the shop items, about 1/3 from the right, to buy things) - Store prices are partially obstructed by store items. (You can drag the first and second item columns down to better see the price) The game mechanics still work! With a little poking around on the store screen, you can buy things that you can afford and make progress. I am nearly finished with the game, in the endgame (5/6 achievements) and working on getting the expensive store items. Good luck, and I hope Vlambeer updates this great, CLASSIC iOS game!

DO NOT BUY!. This game is broken to the point where it’s almost impossible to play I bought it and immediately realized the issues, the screen to continue to the shop or keep fishing is scaled down by a lot but this isn’t the main issue, the main issue is the store is completely broke price tags and purchases buttons are hidden behind other items so it’s almost impossible to buy items or see the price. I play radical fishing on pc back in 2011 and got this bc I figured it was the next best thing but it was not. Do not waste your money on this broken game if I could get a refund I would.

Catch fish and shoot them. See how far you can get your like to go below the depths, get a bite and reel in as many fish as possible. Then throw them in the sky and shoot as many as possible to get money. Use the money to upgrade and do it again.

Why is this still being featured? No support!. Changed my review from 5 to 1 star. I frequently see Ridiculous Fishing being advertised on the App Store, but the app hasn’t been updated in 3 or 4 YEARS. That means the game doesn’t work on the vast majority of current iPhone models. Don’t get me wrong, this is absolutely one of the greatest iOS games EVER released, but it’s been dead in the water for some time, and no one should have to pay for it only to be met with disappointment.

absolute perfection.. i was about seven years old when i first played this game. my mom had it on her ipad and i was hooked from the very first time i played it. every time i went in her room, i played this on her ipad while she watched whatever show on the tv. i remember actually "completing" the game when she was asleep and being so shocked and surprised i had to take a few minutes. i was still seven years old so i couldn't comprehend everything, but i know it was significant. now i'm sixteen years old and this game has always managed to come into my mind. i downloaded it for myself just yesterday and i've been addicted. it's so simple, yet so interesting that it just pulls you back in for more. the game hasn't changed much since i first played it and i'm glad. i'm amazed by the simplicity of the game and how nostalgic it's made me. my life is going at a million miles per hour, but it's nice to sit back and play this game. i even showed my mom and we ended up having a conversation about how excited i was playing the game. i'm extremely happy this game is still available and i really believe it's worth every penny. of course, i have a connection to it so one may say i'm biased, but i really believe it. it's simple, but really brings you in to play it again and again. i can only hope you'll have as much fun playing it as i do.

I loved this game. I had actually gone and beat this game a while back. It was really a lot of fun and randomly I decided I wanted to redownload the game and beat it again just because. I tried to play it and it was completely unplayable because it wasn’t formatted for the new iPhone XS. I was sorta disappointed and I hope this gets addressed eventually though I doubt that will happen.

Game is absolutely broken. Do not buy.. All banners are too small for a modern phone screen. The visual elements are all completely broken, either the wrong size or just disappearing. The store is completely broken, it’s impossible to purchase anything due to the broken visual effects. This means that any gameplay past the first 25 seconds is completely blocked off. This is easily the second worst $3 I have ever spent, right after paying 3 hobos to kick me in the rear end as hard as they can. The worst part is that once you spend your hard earned money, it is impossible to go to iTunes and get a refund. Vlambeer, if you’re reading this, I highly recommend you remove this app from the app store. While this is not quite theft, it is extraordinarily scummy to leave a broken game on the app store while still collecting payment for said game.

Was great, until……. I absolutely loved this game on my iPhone 7. No flaws what so ever. I went to redownload this game when I got my 12 Pro and the screen ratio just doesn’t fit what so ever. Everything is way too small. This game needs an update. Not worth buying if you have the newer phones without the home button, unless the game gets updated.

Fun concept but unplayable on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Love the parts of the game I can play. The issue is you can’t buy anything from the shop because the buy button is covered by the next column of upgrades. The UI scaling is horrible because after your done fishing you get a catch report but text in the report is almost unreadable. I can’t find any way in app to change scaling so good luck and I’d recommend a magnifying glass.

Map!. You need to be able to access the map so you can go back to previous fishing spots. Glitches when I found the frozen father at the same time I upgraded to the infinite fishing spot. Now for some reason I am stuck at the first place. Fix this and 5 star for sure.

Great casual fun. Fun little casual game. Feels a but short, but the last level is just hard enough to keep me coming back every now and then for another try. Love the lack of any freemium bull or always-online.

Great Fun!. This game is stupidfun. you sit in a boat, dodging the fish until you either hit the bottom, hit a fish or your line runs out. Then you try and hit as many fish before your line surfaces. Then you commit piscine genocide with a variety of guns, of which you get paid to do. Perhaps you are being paid by the Aquatic Life Voluntary Extinction Movement. You use this money to buy longer lines, more powerful guns or oil for your chainsaw lure. All in all, some stupidfun to while away a few minutes.

waste of money. was the funnest game about 8 years ago, wanted to revisit and paid $5 but the game isn't suitable for the iPhone 11 pro max and all the menu options are too small, waste of money, don't buy if you have a large iPhone

Decent. Decent play, I love how there are zero in app purchases that's one of the reasons I bought it. However there aren't too many maps would like to see more and perhaps more fish, game finishes too early as I love it! Still what's there of the game is great!

Completely Broken. Resolution’s been screwed for years and now they’ve just announced a remaster exclusively for Apple Arcade so you can’t play the game you paid for thanks

Simple and addictive. Unlike most games of its ilk I don't really feel the "grind" to progress. Not sure how or why but either way it means the game is a lot more replayable!

Accurate name and bizarrely fun. This game has an extremely strange premise. But the game design is pretty much spot on. Controls, art, sound (the music plays forwards as your lure descends and then plays in reverse as you reel it in) are all excellent. Best of all, no IAP.

This America is amazing but.... Guys this game is fantastic but... The only thing that would make it better is if a new update would come out cause many people including myself probably have finished the game by now so if you are making an update can you please include a new place to fish, new fish, new equipment, and more.?!!?!!? Lack of options- I just want the music off!. It's a neat game, but the fact that I can't turn the in-game sounds off to continue listening to my own music, podcasts, etc while I play is making me not want to play it and I kind of regret purchasing it. But only for that reason. The game itself is pretty cute fun.

Doesn’t work on the Pro Max phone. On an iPhone 14 Pro Max it’s impossible to buy anything at the store because the UI doesn’t draw properly. Unplayable.

GAME BUG PLEASE FIX. Hi guys, I have been enjoying this game all the way until I had bought every item and had only 2 fish left to catch. I was excited to catch these last few fish, but whenever I go on the app it just stays on the loading screen for a while and then it will crash. :( Besides that, this is one of the best games I have played on iOS. :) PLEASE FIX THIS

One of the best games on the App Store. Ferocious Fishing is one of the small hidden gems in the App Store that doesn't feature In App Purchases. Paired with addictive gameplay that'll keep you going for days, this is one of those rare apps that I'll give a deserving 5 stars to. Worth every cent.

5 stars but.... Okay I gave this game 5 stars but be warned it is highly addictive. I can't get the song outta my head. I can't stop thinking about fishing. And I am loving it!!!!

Can't control sound. Not sound control options, so you can't listen to music or podcast while playing, ruins an otherwise fun game for me. Even worse if you manage to start your music again while playing it constantly turns it off again. Would not have bought had I know this, useless for commuting.

Ridiculous Fishing. Absolutely amazing app! So well designed and so addictive! Loved every minute of playing this game (except having to find the C.O.G.F that was so hard! In the three days it took to finish this game there was never a dull moment! I honestly can't wait until your next release!!

Doesn’t work on newer phones. The game is extremely zoomed out and the UI is pushed all over the place, doesn’t seem to work on newer/bigger screens and developers are no longer working on the game so no patch is coming.

Just 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌. This game is the perfect mix of fun and annoyance and I absolutely love it 👍😁. The only thing I would suggest is to add more places to fish and more equipment because it's an amazing game and it's great fun when you are board or waiting for something but for the people that have finished it it can get a little (main word being little) bit boring and we NEED MORE FIIIIIIISH

Loved it. I remember playing the 2010(or whatever) and play this one. I freaking love it. Only issue is the tilt control for the rod. But still worth the money

How to use music ingame. Click button on earphones or double tap home button, swipe left click play. Only downside is music will stop every time you swap from going down, going up and shooting. Needs more guns fishes and maps, after all, it is 2.99. Maybe ship upgrades?

Epic Game!!!!!. This is the best game ever! I give it 6 stars! Although I would like more upgrades with like a big laser cannon or something! Or a nuclear lure that when you touch the screen the lure glows green and fish swim away from it! Could use fuel like chainsaw lure or other power source. A medieval cannon would be cool too or a Thor hammer which shoots lightning down from the sky and goes through fish so you can get a whole row of fish when they're up in the air! It would cost a ton of cash though. Could there also be a sharks head hat where it looks like its trying to eat the fishermans head. I forgot I think his name is Billy. Definitely worth the money.

A bit short. The game is okay if you like pixel games you should definitely get this sort of game.... It is very ridiculous and I like how the gameplay is if maybe you could make a sequel or an up date with maybe more locations to fish and some more accessories like lure, clothing etc.

As good as expected!. I've been keeping my eye on this game ever since it was announced a couple years back. The art is vibrant and beautiful, music perfectly fitting, and the gameplay and pacing top notch. One of the few true games (Games without the IAP bs) on the app store. A must have.

Get It. I didn't know what to expect as the screenshots looked like something from my Commodore 64 days. But honestly this is great gameplay. Truly unique. You won't regret buying this. A+

Really good fishing game!!. It's a good fishing game and habitually i don't like fishing game. In this game you have to go deep in the sea without taking fish and when you go up take the maximum fish you can but warning don't take jellifish. When you reach the air you have to shoot fishes to gain money abd upgrape your fishing stuff. NOTE: When you reach arctic wather and you take blue jellifish and you shoot them they will respawn in 2 copy and it's not a bug.

Great game. Offensively inhumane. Poor fish, they have desires to live life, just like us, but instead of being caught nobly as food for local villagers, they are caught and gussied up together for sport, on a single line and vaporized in a needless blood-misted fish holocaust. For shame!

So Fun!. This app has been in the works for a long time and was almost scrapped because of blatant copy cats (ninja fishing, etc) so glad this is finally out. It was totally worth the wait!

Amazing game, part of my childhood. I played this game a lot when I was about 10 and I played it until I had almost caught all the fish. The story is amazing and the gameplay is fun. I still enjoy it to this day.

Won't load. I bought this game and downloaded it on my phone but it won't go pass the loading screen I tried reinstalling it doesn't work I tried turning my phone off doesn't work, so I tried it on my iPad and it works but why not my phone?

Doesn’t work on iPhone X. On any of the new generation phones the UI is bugged and the screen is all zoomed out and it’s stuck at 30 fps. Pls fix this because I believe it’s actually a good game it’s a shame to see it go to waste here

Doesn’t work on iPhone X. You can fish, but you can’t make any purchases at the boat store, which presumably means you can’t progress at all. The graphics are zoomed out so far, it’s hard to read the options. Too bad. It looked like a good game.

Good game - unplayable on new phones. I love everything about this game except that it does not work on my phone. The best game on iOS with one small issue. Right now the game plays SUPER ZOOMED OUT on my iPhone X. It hasn’t had any compatibility updates in 2 years, so maybe they’ve given up on it, but I love it so much and just wish I could play it again. It’s the first game where motion controls actually work and feel right!

Glitch. So there’s a glitch where everything gets small as if the res was really low like the menus don’t work and it’s just broken, I use IPhone XS I don’t know if it’s just me or more people. Please fix the glitch I used to play this all the time and I want to play it again.

[BUG] Resolution issues. iPhone 8. I opened the game and the resolution is doubled so everything looks super tiny including the menus

New update?. I haven’t played this game in a while but when I opened up the app I lost all my progress and now everything is zoomed out. Whenever I fish and shoot everything the words are way to small to read the loading screen is just weird and is small and in the corner.

Barely playable on new devices. The UI scaling makes it very difficult to play now. A lot of elements are misaligned now. But the core gameplay is intact and you can progress through the game. Bummer as this is a classic.

This game really needs an update. The game is completely unplayable on my phone. I can’t even buy things when I go to the shop, my money does not even show up. All the menus are like a tiny fraction of the screen. I can’t read anything and half the words are In the wrong spot so it’s really hard to even read. And everything is too tiny to see it’s like it thinks I’m on an iPad Pro when I’m on a lil phone

One of my all time favorites but I have a bug. Ridiculous fishing, from it’s gameplay “hook” to it’s precision, it’s music and immersive world building via it’s in universe mobile apps. Splendid, sometimes even heartfelt game. But lately, I’ve encountered a scaling bug that really takes away from the experience. Everything is just tiny now! Is a fix planned? Thanks, -jack

This game is broken! Don’t buy. The in game store to buy equipment such as longer fishing lines is broken stopping you from progressing in the game. This needs to be fixed but there hasn’t been an update in years. Don’t waste your money on a broken game.

Doesn’t work on my XS. The text is too tiny, shop doesn’t display text or a purchase button, it’s unplayable. Looks like they just expanded the aspect ratio of an iPad game without any consideration for the smaller screen on a phone. From the tutorial I can tell it would be great fun if it actually worked.

Great game, but completely broken. I love this game to death, but why is it for sale when it doesn’t work properly on Apple’s last three generations of iPhones? If you’ve decided to abandon development, please remove it from the store. It’s quite lousy to charge money for an app that doesn’t work properly.

GREAT GAME NEEDS UPDATE. This game hasn’t been updated in three years so it needs more support for higher iPhone models. I think an update could bring this game back to it’s potential.

Dev is a hack. The sheer brass neck of keeping this game up to, by the devs own admission, fish money from idiots (like me) who expect a game on a marketplace to still work is astounding. Cannot believe this game gets advertised on the App Store homepage. I almost sympathize with his plight but his solution is complete trash. A real fool’s buy.

Please fix UI scale. Please fix the UI scale for the newer iPhones. This is a really good game and I wish the UI could be fixed as well as the shop. Formatting this game for the newer iPhones would be amazing.

So sad. The game was made for older iPhone devices and is now not playable. All graphic assets are sized too small to interact with. Why is this still on the App Store if the developer won’t or can’t fix these bugs? I would gladly pay to have one of the all time greats updated for modern devices and not be lost to time.

Broken game & Broken shop. Just purchased $3 for this game & immediately regret it… not only are visual & game design are really small but the shop itself is literally broken meaning I can’t buy any upgrades & I’m stuck playing with basic equipment as a beginner. Only took 3 min & less to just delete the game since there was nothing else I can do to play.

iPad OS is fine; iOS is not. Loved this game back in the day, but needs an update for current phones I guess. Works fine on the iPad though, but it’s a bit cumbersome to tilt.

Buyer-beware: broken game!. Loved this game when it first came out. Decided to start playing it again with my iPhone 8 Plus. Gameplay is fine, but the UI is drastically undersized and the store is totally broken. Last update was 2 years back, so I don’t have a lot of hope for a patch.

From best game on iOS to abandoned and unplayable. I don’t know why you abandoned such a gem. Scaling has completely broken this game, not even able to buy things in the store anymore. An easy 5 star game might as well be removed from the store at this point unfortunately.

Would have been a good game but not worth it. My only problem and the only problem is the screen resolution. I’m using a Xs and when I played it I couldn’t see the text because it’s so small, and it doesn’t even fill in the whole screen. and I couldn’t even be bothered to play it anymore it’s an absolute waste of money for me

One of my all time fav games, needs updating. The formatting on my 11+ iPhone is unplayable. This is a game I have kept coming back to and sinking dozens of hours into ever few years. It saddens me that it’s broken and hasn’t been updated. If it gets an update I’ll go back to saying it’s 5/5 stars for sure!

Needs work for newer phones. I loved radical fishing. I was hoping for the same kind of game. The elements are the same but the misplacement of all the banners and visuals make it impossible to buy items and shoot fish. I’ll play again once there’s an update

What the heck?. I just tried theirs today and it’s bad. Everything is tiny and I can’t read anything. The results box takes up like 10% of the screen. Use more space! The store everything is overlapping and you can’t see prices or read bad contrasting text. Avoid!

Not compatible with modern devices. As many other reviews state, this hasn’t been updated in many years. The so-called “compatibility” update does not support anything available today - the UI makes the game unplayable on my XS. Do not purchase!

I don't play games very often. But this one had me hooked (pun intended). Highly recommended if you enjoy games that aren't too challenging and provide consistent feedback and rewards.

Finally beat it. I have been playing for years. This game always made the boring, less boring. Definitely worth it
