Great free functions. Very handy app with range finder, score keeper, and the ability to find the range from anywhere on the course. I've recommended it to two friends whose apps were found lacking.

Great app!. I use this golf app almost exclusively when playing. The rangefinder is accurate when compared to ground markers and carts with GPS. I like the scorecard though it could be a little more detailed. For instance it allows you to designate if you hit the fairway but not the green. I’d definitely argue the latter is more important than the former.

Great app !. Only thing I wish it had was a shot distance you could watch. I have a golf buddy and the only reason I have it is because of marking the shot. I like to keep up with my distance on drives. But it’s a great app

begs for reviews - annoying. I'd give it a better rating but it keeps bugging me to give it a rating. Everytime I use it, it asks me to rate this app. More than once per round. I've click "never ask me again" just about every time. Yet, it keeps bugging me. That alone removes a star. On May 8 I was sent an email, asking me to write a review! That's four months after I wrote the review above (which I did solely to stop being asked about writing reviews) ARGH! Replying to that email bounced. Their gMail account is flagging me as a false-positive. Clearly they're not paying attention, and don't have good communications with customers.

Works great!. I use this with my Apple Watch and iPhone. I often compare my distances with my husband, who uses a golf range finder and it is very close, often a yard or two, depending where the flag is. I certainly don’t use this app to its full potential, but I love it.

Issues with maps in range finder. I usually don’t write reviews on apps, but this one has really irritated me. I’ve tried using this on different courses in area with very poor results. I’ve found the app works great at home while connected to WIFI, but WiFi is not available on course. Maps while in range finder are crystal clear when on WiFi. Once I get to the course I’m on Verizon’s LTE network. I can see the tee and hole pins, but the maps will not show any detail. I wish I could post a photo on the review showing the difference between maps while on WiFi and LTE network but I cannot. I just paid for the app membership which I can hopefully get refunded unless the issue can be figured out by developer. Very dissatisfied with app.

Dragging closes app. This is my go to gps app. However, lately, when I begin dragging a point the app closes. Example: I touch a point 260 from green. I want to adjust the landing point. If I drag the app closes. No problem if I simply touch a different point, however (I forget this sometimes).

Contrast and compare. Great app. My son and I play about twice a month and we love to compare stats. This helps us track and compare our progress. He’s still killing me in GIR but I have the edge in fairways hit

I am over whelmed. I am just amazed at how well this free app works. My golf buddy died after many years of faithful service and I intended to replace it for several hundred dollars. I downloaded this app and it works better for free. It also displays on my watch which makes it even more wonderful. The only improvement I would request is to make it stay on my Watch app until I tell it to go away. I have to frequently bring it back up by pushing the buttons.

Works great!. Everything on this app works great!!! Really let's you focus on your game. default scoring makes it super easy to write down your score. Buy it!!!! And the updates keep coming, making this app better year after year.

One slight change. This will be my third or fourth year using the app and I love it! The only thing that is a bit frustrating is when I choose simple for CarPlay out and then change the golfers, it defaults back to expert so I have to start over again if I hit play. I never catch this in time, hurrying up to tee off. 😊

Best golf app ever!!!. This is by far the best golf app I have downloaded. I have downloaded so many but they all were missing something. Then I found this one! It's got everything from simple to detailed. With all kinds of statistics if you like to pay close attention to what's holding you back. I use it with my Watch as well and it works flawlessly. Super quick never slowing play. Actually much faster then the traditional old scorecard. I highly recommend this app! Will not be disappointed!

Great app. This app is everything I need to keep track of my scores, strokes, and everything else to help me better my game. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Golf gps great game tracking tool. I tried golf gps for a month to see how I liked it. Was good, but then I was blown away when purchasing the app. Wow is all I can say about all the information and charting your game.

Weak Watch implementation. I found the watch application to have little value because of the interface and menu choices. Seemed to be ok as pure rangefinder but hardly worth the subscription cost for that feature. Scoring and other aspects were just distracting to use even if you are willing to keep your phone handy. Application designer got my monetary support for the initial subscription to figure this out as there is little useful info on the interface without getting into the app more deeply. Canceled the ‘recurring’ subscription after trying for a few times. In the future, I am only going to load this type of app if a limited time (not feature) trial period is offered. I recommend you do likewise.

Score increased 5 strokes easily!. The ability to hit ofd the tee to an exact yardage of 125 into the green and the club selection feature once you accurately input your distances is like having a caddy with you! Great app!

Great “no ad” gps app. This app provides an easy yardage guide that doesn’t slow you down with ads or drain your phone battery. Check it out!

Best I’ve tried. Have tried various program and this one works for me. I like the flexibility of using as scorecard but also can be used as basic rangefinder. Only criticism is not as many courses as some others I’ve tried. I have mapped one course and easy to do once you understand how to do it.

Good Deal for An app Rangefinder. I purchased this as a backup to my Garmin (when I forget to charge it) and use it on my iWatch. The yardage was accurate. When my home course was not available, customer service added it as soon as it was requested. Highly recommended.

Good quality - decent update speed. I have been using this app off and on for over a year - it is one of the better apps out there for golfers. It could use some course updates (tee boxes and hole numbers have changed at start of this season) and it can be slow to refresh at times but it is extremely accurate when compared to other apps and devices.

July 15th-First with Rich/Michael. Started poorly with triple. Pulled 2nd ( a lot of that today). Fairways really scorched and didn’t hit well off it. Then the freak maintenance lady on 7. Took me to 12 to hunker down and par 4 of last 6. So finally broke 90 with 3 7’s coming in at 88. Could’ve easily been 84 with no or one 7. Next up, Ivy Ridge with Medicke.

KillerKim says it could of been 5stars. Really enjoying this app! Few problems is when I set to Blue or white tees it just gives me whatever. (But you could adjust)Satellite map on some are early or late in the day. To many shadows. Some renovated courses haven't been updated for 2017. Other than that fast and does what I need. You could choose 2 versions of maps. I haven’t really been using the game play but I heard it was awesome!

A perfect app for non-tour member. Both the watch and iPhone app are user friendly, fun to use, very detailed for whatever you're wanting to work on or view over the course of a round, 10 rounds or 100 rounds. You can get accurate distances, charts for varying holes, putting, and so much more. Would recommend to anyone and have!

Not very easy to use the free version. I have tried to use this app several times this season and last and I finally gave up because it kept messing with my head everytime I used it it never worked the same way two holes in a row! Completely improved my game. On average I shoot a 80-84 I played a quick 9 holes after work and decided to test this app out. It greatly improved my ranging abilities I put 4 approach shots within 6 feet because of this. It recorded my GIR what my put distance was for every hole. To shorten it up the app is flawless and Does the same work as my friends 500 dollar Garmin watch.

Absolutely great. I use ARCCOS Caddie but app crashed and I looked for something to replace it for one round. I downloaded this app and immediately subscribed after just one round. LOVE it. It does everything I wanted. Has great course maps, shows distances and you can track your shot distances by club. This app rocks!

James S. This app is by far the best gps caddy tool available. I tried 3 or 4 before settling on this one. I play with a friend who uses a hand held range finder. This is so much easier...with all the graphics. Plus traps, trees etc. View the holes before you play the course. Exceptional. Has helped lower my handicap.

Steve. Really easy to use. Very intuitive. I love that I can load my clubs abs how far I hit the ball with each one and when you use the app it automatically suggests which club to use. Well designed.

Rain Delay. When I completed the front 9 it had been raining for a bit already and when I asked if I could do a rain check one of the ladies had an attitude but the guy was nice about it. Told me I couldn’t get a rain check but he could give me the cart fees off the next round or wait it out. They said 20-30 mins of more rain but that seemed risky and then once everyone goes out there will be a big delay/slowdown. Nice course though, just wish I could have gotten rain check for back nine.

Great golf app. I haven't upgraded to the membership yet, but all the basic features are very useful. I especially like being able to check distances to any hazard or other location on the hole - also then shows the distance from that point to the green.

Golf gps. Just started to use this app and two things I notice right away are awkward. It should know where you are so that when you want to play it gives you the names of courses near you at that time and you pick one Also, maybe I have not learned it yet but yardage to front and back of green would be nice

Best golf caddie app. I have tried many different apps and have complaints about a range of different things, including limited courses. I don’t have any complaints about this one. Does everything I want it to. And can map a course that is not already in the database.

GPS detracts from experience. First time user and unable to use full functionality as got error message on every hole to the effect that GPS signal was weak and so couldn’t track any shots and build history. No way as far as I can tell to go back and enter club/shot data manually. Disappointed and feel like I wasted $13 on this app. Update, used the app again today, and although it was bright and sunny, could not get a GPS signal. It’s a new phone, and the GPS works great with all the other Apps I use, so I can only surmise that the Golf GPS App is worthless and really poorly named.

Like it but. I use this app. But the other day I received a phone call while playing. I was no longer able to access the current game. So I lost my ability to keep score. This needs to be fixed.

Won’t work on Apple Watch. I bought this app premium to use on my Apple Watch. After Watch version 10.1 update the app no longer worked. It seems to time out after initially starting. Referred to their help desk and was told it might be fixed in a future update. The last GolfGPS update was 3 months ago. I was not even given an estimated time for the next update. Meantime I paid for an app I can’t use.

Better than I expected!. I’ve downloaded several GPS apps thinking something might be better. Nope! Keep coming back to Golf GPS. While other GPS apps look nicer and offer more features, the reviews on those are always less than stellar which is why I’ve decided I’m perfectly content with this minimal looking app. It just works… and so I’ve upgraded to the full version and I’m VERY pleased I did! Also… many of the complaints come from lazy and/or ignorant users. Many don’t read instructions or watch the tutorials. For others, you are able to edit many features yourself and submit for corrections and the developer fixes them immediately with a gratuitous “Thank you Andy!”, all from inside the app! C’mon people… don’t complain because you’re lazy and incompetent.

Used golf logix before. This is a good app. Works as you would expect it to and the UI is modern, intuitive and pleasing to the eye. As a product, it would be much better if the Handicap was calculated in the app. That is a huge shortcoming. An app should be a one stop app, not a sister app. To another one in the case of the handicap app. The previous version had terrible backup instructions and it was unusable. The new release fixed it and backing up scores is a snap now so good job product owner and Dev team. QA-don't let a big one slip by you next time! This app is well positioned to be "the" golf app with some aggressive movement!!

Never thought I'd get this. I have always thought that you should use the on stakes and the markers in the fairways. But I really enjoy this app. Accurate information shot selection just got easier.

The Perfect Caddie. An incredible asset for any experienced golfer. Determining the distance to hazards or to other points on the course makes "playing smart" a fun strategy and the best club selection. Keep up the great work.

What could be. This is a great app that could be your go to GPS golf app except it lacks one big thing. Almost every other GPS will give you yardage to the front middle and back of the green. This app only displays yardage to the middle and quite frankly it’s annoying to always be scrolling to get those readings. If not for that it would be 5 stars. Keeps the stats and the satellite imagery is very bright and easy to see

Nice course. This is a nice course for practice the fairways are good and the roughs are rough they could both use some trimming. The greens are much better than they use to be but don’t think you can practice on these and play elsewhere and do good it won’t happen. Just need more work on the greens.

Annual renewal charged but not recognized. I love this App, 5 stars, paid full version plus watch. Now one year after the in app purchases charge came through as planned. The app won’t recognize the renewal. I am resorting to complaining here because the website gives no real help for anything. Nowhere do they give us a way to repair things. I sent an email with screenshots but I don’t know how they can open a ticket for me.

Free Distance to Pins. App works just like it should. Automatically knows when I’m on the next hole. Constantly recalculating distance to pin while I’m walking. Perfect! Even allows you to mark consecutive shot distances but I haven’t used that much. One shot at a time is fine by me.

Good low tech data tracker. Keeps good stats. I use it to check my Arccos data and to print out each round’s data for my journal. Haven’t really tried the advanced features be cause I use Arccos Beats notes on score card plus accumulates the data. Nice feature lets you see your history on each hole.

Great app. I downloaded and found immediate value. It connected easily for the course I was about to play and it worked very well. Great help planning shots. I recommend it.

No more looking 4 sprinkler markers. This app is easy to use and has a good connection to courses I play in several states. Integrates with my Apple watch as long as the phone is within Bluetooth distance. As courses change pin placement daily it dies not take that into consideration and measures to center of green at all times. I track several areas of my golf game and some are not covered in the application. There is no custom tracking feature but that is a small issue. Overall very pleased.

Atlantis Golf Course. A true challenge for golfers of all levels. One of the very best public courses in the state. Much credit is due to the maintenance staff who constantly make every effort to insure the course is ready for play every day. The pro shop staff is courteous and efficient.

Retired Carpenter. This app is absolutely amazing. I’ve been using it for two seasons in my Golf League. My friends have a $400 rangefinder, and I am within a yard of them on every single hole.

Great but not Great. I love the score card feature and the range finder on the Apple Watch ! However when I try ti add it to theme Smart Stack on the watch it’s not available! It takes to much time to the app list to find it and get the yardage! Could you please make this available for the Apple Smart Stack. Thank you

Great free app. Love this app. You get the layout and real time yardage on each hole. It lists every course you have used it on which is fun to look back on. Perfect when you have never played the course before.

Ignore other reviews... I've found this app to be nothing but helpful. In ten games it's had all the courses (avail to download) I needed but one. As I've played, I used the GPS without incident. It records club length and keeps stats on each club if you ask of it but that can become comber some so I've just used it as a GPS and a scorecard for my last ten games. Read the instructions and you will not be confused. Let's just say that figuring out ones handicap is much harder. I'd like to see a way to incorporate my handicap into the scores, and I wish there was a way to record a round on a map so I could go back later and tell the app what club I used there or recount my strokes...

Great App. The app allows you to track your score, your putts, fairway hits, bunkers etc so you get a full understanding of your game. It also allows you to review your collective scores from all rounds and gives you graphs to show different aspect of your game, incl fairways hits, puts per round etc. The app has been very useful and handy toy game.

An Effective Golf App. This app provides the opportunity a golfer to record and analyse the basics of their golf game. It provides easy-to-read graphs with the options of short, medium and long-term analysis. The GPS function is fantastic for those unfamiliar to a course as well. Interesting free App. Personally I found the app difficult, but loved trying it. I only play this one course,Chinderah Golf Course, and did not find the Caddie apt accurate for distances and the lay of some holes. Again I reiterate, I am in the age of not knowing a lot of the electronic age, new gadgets,etc. I am probably not doing something correctly, but love trying at different times. I do recommend it be tried. You will enjoy it!

Dreadful. - App won’t sync with Fitbit after resetting watch and phone over ten times - New golfers added and show in list then disappear again - Search for courses works then doesn’t - I’ve folllowed all instructions on support page but this is a waste of money

Way too hard. It starts out looking like a great app. But in the end it would be easier to land a jumbo jet then try to figure out how this works Sorry but gave up

GPS Caddie. A very simple app to use that allows you to track key statistics to aid improvement. I enjoy the ease of emailing your completed scorecard at the end of a round. The best GPS and score / statistic tracking app I have used.

Still one of the best I've seen and used. A great app which is easy to use. Quick and painless to record just about every stat for your game with the 'actual vs estimated' distance per club feature useful. The mapping and ranging are very quick and handy for courses you are new too. Battery usage (GPS) has improved but starting with a full battery charge is recommended. I've been using the app for a few years now and everyone I've played with thinks the scorecards are really helpful (just need to work on the scored). Thanks guys and well done.

Great App for All Golfers. I have tried out several golfing apps and this is definitely up there with the best apps. Many features in this app are standard whereas in other apps you would have to pay to unlock. The ability to map my own local courses is excellent. Try it! The latest update has improved the look and usability on my iPhone 6. The developer is very responsive to feedback and has worked hard to deliver a superior product. I have paid for the full version and this is now my go to app for golf!

TonyS. Was going to buy a Garmin or similar golf GPS. Found this app - Fabulous! Download lots of courses, can change tee box and flag locations, records yardage of shot, club used, distance to flag. Keeps scores for you and others, score cards for rounds uploaded and viewable for ever! Averages yardage for clubs used and suggests club to use for next shot. Save yourself lots of money and get this app - it is great.

Great golf GPS. Tried this out last weekend and it worked wonderfully. The area I was in was hit and miss with reception but I was usually always able to get a good indication of how far I had remaining. Recommend.

Great but...... Easy to use, but watch out for accidentally deleting your score half way through your game. If you hit play again by accident you can't get back to your game.

Gps caddie.. This app is amazing. It gives me very accurate range and I find out things like my putts per round and my driving average.

Great app!. Tracking score was easy. Got into some trouble in the rough, pulled out the app and immediately got my distance to the pin. Still figuring out the features, accidentally hit Track while on the course and didn't know how to Cancel out. Overall a positive experience, looking forward to learning the rest of the features.

Weak. Besides somewhat of a confusing app with not really good instructions on how to use other than a weak video, you need to have a good trial period to see if you like the app with iwatch before being forced to buy And the whole nick name requirement is ridiculous

No gps!. Last two rounds I’ve played (different courses) it gets No GPS!!!! Useless! AT&T signal is fine in my Apple Watch!

Don’t use set pin in range finder mode. If I select range finder mode to just review the course at home and select set pin the app moves the pin miles off the course and it remembers that I did that. The app must be deleted and reinstalled to get out of that mode. Otherwise, I like this app.

Problem with the skins game. The score input is easy. With skins there is the problem that if you start on hole 10, and there are tied holes at the end of the first nine, it doesn’t accumulate the tied skins for the winner of the first hole in the second nine holes.

Don’t waste your money. This app claims to auto advance to the next hole but it does not do it. I attempted to reach customer service 4 times to find out why it wasn’t working and got no response. Don’t waste your money. I wasted mine, don’t do the same.

My Tumwater Valley golf course adventure. It’s a beautiful flat, with many Fir trees course, but has some open links type areas.

Good App. uses your phones GPS so pretty accurate for range finding, and really helps my golf game!

Dropped 6 strokes. Using this app I’ve been able to pinpoint my positions and strategically get off the tea to lower my game by an average of six strokes per round.

One of the best!. I use it a couple times a week. It works as good or better than standalone devices costing hundreds of dollars. Kudos to the development team.

Terrific Golf GPS. Been using for two years and have yet to find anything better. Has every course I play. Very accurate. Distances match partners’ range finders.

Review. I have traveled in many directions playing courses in the U.S. Never had trouble with connecting and app seems to be the most accurate of any app that I’ve tryed.

Spring for the watch. Works on hole 1 and stays there despite you moving to hole 2. No tech support. No refund. I thought this had more features than the 3 year old Bushnell I own that has never failed in 3 years. More advertised features yes, but fails 1st time, everytime. Waste of money.

Willoughby Golf Club. Well maintained course, beautiful greens, a great test of your golf prowess, 4 tees to suit your skill level. Memberships available. Very active golf membership. Clay court tennis, active clubhouse, new exercise facility, active lunch and dinner menus and much more.

Yardage. You need to know the distance they tell you!!

Distance to green. Very accurate. Better than anything my buddies Have come up with!

Best golf app on the market. And it’s free!!. Most accurate and pop up free range finder you can get. Tried them all and this works the best for me.

Awesome app.. I found this App about 6 months ago and just love it. I mostly use the Simple option and once in awhile I use the Expert option. I love the simple one when I'm playing with on the weekly league as I am new to golf and am still learning the distance of each of my clubs. The distance is very accurate, more so then other golf rangers as I can more the flag to get the most accurate distances. Other golfers have turned to asking me the distance to be sure. That is pretty cool since they have those expensive units which gives only the distance to the middle of the putting green. The app allows you to put in the distance for each club then it suggests which club you need to use based on that information. That comes in handy for me. Since using the app I have developed a better range for each club, which has lower my overall par score for several holes. The other option I like is the multiple courses you can down load. The range finder view of each hole is just awesome and so easy to use. It's helpful when visiting new courses as it provides an overview of the hole, seeing where all the sand, and water is and it gives you the distance to each if you need to lay up or not. When I golf with my spouse we use the expert options which we can put in many, many many details that help our over all game. We love the app and the game is so much easier when you know the distance, can see the overview layout of each hole, know the distance to any location on that hole, just takes all the guessing out. Love this app.

Nice app!!. I am a relatively new golfer, and just wanted an app to give me an accurate distance to the pin on the courses I play. I've been pleasantly surprised at the functionality of the app Does what I need it to!!

App has connection issues with watch. I’ve had this app for over a year. When I first started using it it was awesome. The last several times I’ve tried to use it the watch will not connect to the phone. Two of the courses had the wrong hole information. Not sure what is wrong but can’t seem to get it to work.

Disappointed. Lost ALL my previous rounds info. Courses. Club yardages. EVERYTHING is gone!! Site locked up so I deleted and reinstalled then tried to sign in and it didn’t recognize either of my email options but yet it recognized I bought the year membership. UGH 😡

Great app. Been using this a few months now. I like the way it syncs with my Iwatch. Cheaper than golf logic’s which is what I had last few years. Great price

You got me. Paid for the subscription to see full features. You got me. The app is trash and I can’t get my money back because it’s a subscription. The way you enter scores is archaic. You can’t measure distances with your clubs. The overhead is grainy and dark. Etc. It’s a terrible app and I’ve been ripped off for $13 even with canceling a few hours after purchase. Don’t ever subscribe to apps. Period.

The BEST Golf GPS app. This app is invaluable, easy to download courses from around the world and track just about every facet of your golf game. Great for yardages, GPS is very accurate.

First time out. I played 18 holes today. The distances to front center and back of the greens were very accurate. I would recommend this app.

Upgrades course. The course need to be upgraded from the old course. Par 3 are now par 4 and so on. You get the picture.

Great app.. The GPS is amazingly accurate with good visuals. Customer service is prompt and effective. I pointed out that there was no map for my home course and they mapped it the next day! Wow!

Great gps app. Great app within a yard or two and always works perfect. Would’ve liked it to track some stats...

Awesome app!!. Played a course and quick easy and accurate!!! Walk to the fairway next to the ball and the yardage to the next layup or green has been within 2-3 (rangefinder) yards. Wow.

Awesome app!!. Has pretty much everything you need. If it doesn't have your course they make it very simple to map it and get it added! Love love it!!

Very good app for all participating courses. Compared to everyone in our group this is right on yardage. I particularly appreciate that it keeps ahead on next hole.
