I loved this app but unless I was constantly charging my phone it would die in the middle of my workday, not cool. Uninstalled it.

UPDATE #2 (27 May 2017): it has now been just over seven months since I began using PACER. Subsequent to my last update, I have upgraded to the premium version of Pacer and realized how many extra, important, and interesting features I missed out on when just using the standard version of this app. I am 55 y/o and this app has given me a LOT of motivation to get in better shape. I've lost 21-pounds (9.1 kg) since upgrading to the Premium version b/ of extra features that motivated me to become more involved. I NEED Pacer Premium to push me and highly recommend it. (It's more stable & reliable than Fitbit.) Oh, BTW, I am not affiliated with Pacer nor am I paid to write this!!...I wish I was!! SCORE: 100/100 (App has been FLAWLESS over past 6+ months.) END OF UPDATE #2 --27 MAY 2017-- ---------------------------------------- Update: I have now been using this app for approximately three weeks. I am totally addicted to this! One glitch is that on several occasions I had to input a few extra steps so it would synchronize with my other step counting apps, but that is no big deal. One thing I like to do is turn on the GPS mode and if space is available, I will walk in weird patterns and then look at my track after the walk. The other day I was able to spell out my first name with my walking directions! Yes, I know that is odd, but what's wrong with having a little fun while you get fit? (That was a rhetorical question!)..... End of update. I am an instructor and it is extremely unusual for me to grade something so highly. However, this application deserves a 5-star rating in my opinion. I have not upgraded to the premium version yet but suffice it to say I am delighted with this program. If I enable the location GPS tracking to show a very precise path of my walking, there is a noticeable drain on the battery. However, that is optional. It would be better if we had the choice to enable location only when the application was in use and not just in the background. Programmers please take note of that comment. Otherwise, this is one of the best applications I have ever download it. In addition, it synchronizes with a standard pedometer App that I previously downloaded and interface perfectly with the health application on my iPhone 6S. SCORE: 95/100

Update 5/26/207. Love this app. Use it with My Fitness Pal. The coach is helpful and I look forward to new information and upgrades to it. This is a great way to count steps (you can adjust stride length) and keep on track.

The best app
Really motivating to use. I started a new job and at the end of the day I'm so tired due to it involving a lot of walking. I can't afford a Fitbit at this time so I was glad to find this alternative. Really surprising when it showed that I have been walking around four to five miles a day!
Very nice app. UI is full of so much info that it takes a bit of getting used to. One missing feature that I would like is the ability to sync BMI with the Health app.
I love the app and the free version is all I need.
Use this app every day. Easy to use and I use the free version. Keeps stats on my BP and Hr so after I take it I just input. Don't forget to backup! Which is another great feature so you don't lose all your data! Woohoo!
