Excellent resource for practicing concepts. I have 5 and 8 year old boys and they think the games are really fun. It is the first app I have found that really seems to be on track with grade level expectations and allows parents to adjust difficulty level.

It’s ok 😕. It’s OK because it’s that makes the science but it’s not like you’re actually in school actually learning and doing activities and there’s not much choice is to do so it’s just I don’t know confusing to do and there’s just hard because some confusing and they don’t listen to you correctly that well that’s my opinion

Wonderful app. Love this app! I do wish it would explain/teach along with review. But it just reviews things kids have learned already. Especially the silence I wish there was a part that taught the things first then reviewed them. The only part I have seen that it explains what anything is is nouns verbs and adjectives. Other then that there hasn’t been any explaining or teaching. Great for practicing things they already know though!

Excellent Learning App!. This series is the best I have worked with. I use the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade apps and have used them with first through third graders I private tutor. I am a retired teacher and "my kids" thoroughly enjoy these fun, colorful, action-filled teaching tools. Kudos to Kevin Bradford!

No instruction. Tells the kid they got it wrong, but not how to figure out the right answer.

Love it so far.... Great app! My grand-daughter enjoys the challenge and LOVES earning the stickers! I had read one review that commented about a lack of instruction but listening to the program as she ‘played’, I heard the app say, ‘for example...’ many times. Uses the ‘trial and error’ method of teaching spelling as well. No ‘creative spelling’ bologna here. Awesome! The child truly ‘owns’ what they learn.

2nd Grade Learning. My daughter has learned a lot for her school tests. She is learning everything that you need to learn in 2nd grade!

Kid approved, mom approved. So glad we payed for the PreK-6th bundle. The lesson builder is easy to set and hand off to the kids for when they need a focus area; or not and let them just have free play. I love that the progress report lets me see how they are doing, and then I can easily set a lesson builder for areas showing the need more practice. We LOVE this!!!

I Try Out a Lot of Teaching Apps. I have downloaded and tried out a lot of teaching apps for my 5 year old. The large majority don’t make the cut and my daughter never sees them. This app is excellent though. At the moment it’s my favorite of all her teaching apps. It does an equally good job with math, reading, and science. Also, there are apps in this series for each grade level from kindergarten through at least 5th grade so it’s possible to get just the right level for any child in this age range.

Does not work at all. App will not launch. Restarted, reinstalled, tried different network connection - nothing. Brand new iPad too, so software and hardware is not the issue. I will be calling to get my money back. Garbage.

Worth More $. I played this after downloading to check it out and make sure my son would enjoy it. I think it's perfect! It has enough options to keep him thinking, but enough repetition to enforce his learning. He is a very bright 6 year old. He may ace this soon, but I feel confident he will learn quite a bit and will continue to enjoy playing even after its been conquered. Excellent app, I'm hard to please yet this app impresses me!!

Simple Exercises for Growing Minds. As far as learning apps go, this one is quite good. It has plenty of different subjects ranging from english to math, and the visuals are colourful and friendly. Sometimes the controls are a tad unresponsive and I wished there was a bit more variety in the stages; It seems like something that could be expanded upon a bit more. There are doesn't seem to be much replay value: the game is targeted for second graders specifically so I'm not sure how much longer I'm willing to keep this app on my device after my child graduates the second grade. Still, I see this more as a tool to help second graders learn basic concepts so I think it works in that regard, but it could use a bit more to make it more exciting.

Educational for little ones. Unlike most educational games this one is really both fun for kids and educational. I used to play the math blaster CD ROM when I was a kids and seeing my kids get into this is great.
