Fix your game please!. Dear developers, fix your game!. What is with the flimsy lagtime when battling friends online?. One has to constantly enter and exit. If you techies want to market the app, then consider making it functional for the consumer, otherwise grow up Silicon Valley. Also, the game becomes frozen forcing each player to forfeit matches, Do you really think this type of product is satisfactory? The other features are fine, both campaign and random.

Multiplayer is terrible. There are a lot of updates that need to happen with multiplayer. First, why can’t we fast forward through an opponents turn? Also should be able to skip and replay watching turns. Not only this but this is no way to replay your own turn. Also there is no way to stay in the game and have it actively refresh so that you don’t have to constantly quit, refresh, and then go back in to play. Also the controls are really hard

If You Love Worms. I have been a fan of the Worms series for a long time. This is good as far as Worms games go but I’m uber annoyed that even when you have multiple A.I. Teams, they all play as if they are one team again you. That’s just stupid A.I. Now this is somewhat mitigated by the fact that you get a turn every other turn but I’d rather have the opposite.

Literally trash. I mean sure it’s good but ,first the multiplayer is broke, second A.I’s in quick match have impeccable aimbot, third the wind has the power of god , and fourth 9 and up did the developers remember that one of the voiceline choices curse! Don’t waste your time on this game. Trust me!get worms four to have fun.

Freezes at every campaign mission. Freezes at the beginning of every campaign mission, making it unplayable.

Waste of money. Worms is fun but none of the iOS versions let you play with your custom game settings on multiplayer. Some settings are enabled but others, specifically time ARE NOT! WASTE OF MONEY. BOOOO

Online is impossible to play. It has been two days and I wasn’t able to finish a single online. There is not limit for taking a turn, games are just abandoned. I bought it only to play online with random people and game basically doesn’t provide it. I want my money back.

Good but no longer working. This game does not work anymore. After about 2 days this game doesnt work so waste of money until fixed😡

Does not send notifications. I wish there was a way to make it speed up the other person's turn that they already took. Also it is not sending me notification when it is my turn. Even reinstalled it to make sure I have it access and it was all correct.

Pay money, still get ads. Fun game. Annoying ads even if you purchased the app.

Bugs and bad multiplayer. Turn based multiplayer and tons of bugs. Sound didn’t work after download. Badly in need of an update and not worth the price.

Notifications. I love this game, just wish it would notify me when it’s my turn for online games.

Let down. I’ve been a fan since the 90s and realized that the game may be available on mobile. I saw it was and happily paid the 99 cents. However, the online play doesn’t work and after I place my worms, I only have the option to EXIT. Deleting and seeing if I can’t get my money back. Complete let down.

No Notifications. I will change my rating to a 5 if the notifications are ever fixed.

Multiplayer With 2 phones doesn’t work. I purchased this because I wanted to play my friends online, however the multiplayer function doesn’t work. Love everything else about the game. Can you guys fix this?

Way too slow, speed up AI’s turn. AI takes forever! Have stopped playing because it takes so darn long. It’s a waste of time watching it “think” and move. Should be able to play it’s part at x 10 speed.

Notifications. I’ve been playing since this came out. I’ve never gotten notifications. Notifications doesn’t work. Please fix.

Good game but Full screen not supported.. It seems not updated for ages. No full screen supported for 11 inches iPad.

Keyboards messed up.. Whenever I try to login, the game forces part of the keyboard off screen so I can't finish typing in my login info.

It’s a has-been!. I used to love this game and played it a lot. But it’s apparent that it is no longer maintained. Every 2nd. Online game gets corrupted and hours of local progress is wiped out once in a while. It was fun while it lasted. But it’s time to pull it off the App Store.

This Game Is The Best!! ★★★★☆. When Me And My dad go to a restaurant we would order then play this game for like hours till our food came out. I recently got a iPhone XR and I downloaded Worms 3 and opened it and found out it doesn’t have iPhone X Support. ☹︎ But I have Worms Revolution on my PC and my Xbox 360 but I also can’t play the Xbox 360 version on Xbox one so this was my best way to play since my PC is terrible. This was the best game but please make iPhone X Support. ☻

I don’t understand.. How is this game both better and worse than Worms 2? I’ve been playing worms 2 for forever and this game is objectively better but just has some absurd oversights when it comes to gameplay. Why is there no way at all to play AI only matches and why is the team creation limit at 10? Why are the controls so clunky? Why is there no sense of progression? I really want to like this game but it has all the bells and whistles but just seems to be missing the basics. Not having more teams or AI only is not hardware limitations, it feels like an intentional decision to limit the player’s experience.

Cant open the game. I enjoyed this game alot as a kid and bought it because i missed it. 3 days of playing the game, i cant open it anymore. When i try to open it they kick me out immediately.

It's great but. I am having the same issue with Facebook login in and restarting the app over and over. I deleted it and redownloading it. Hopefully that works. But it's a awesome game overall!!!!

Infinite turns. I used to play this but they got rid of the infinite turns on the game need to bring back infinite turns

OG worms gamer. Needs turn notifications. I’ve been playing since the Worms 2 days on PC back in the 90’s. They hit the nail on the head with this one. Controls are easy to grasp and it has all the fun wacky crap you’d expect if you’re an old fan. The game is all there, the only micro transactions are for extra costumes, not content. It also has turn based multiplayer like words with friends. I convinced several people to download and play with me online but the lack of notifications that it is your turn really makes the online play a drag. I have to text them that I finished my turn.

Fun game, marginal user interface. This game interface makes it awful to pan, zoom, select weapons, aim airdrops and homing items, etc. Please remedy.

Young nostalgia dashed. I had high hopes for this, excited that it’s available as a mobile game, but sadly the it is not formatted for big screens (XR), play scene is crowded due to small screen aspect ratio/proportionality.

No notifications. I don’t get any notifications when it’s my turn. I really love this game!

Controller support. I have the “Moga Rebel controller” and it controls all the game functions except one that one being chose weapon so I can only use the rocket launcher as my weapon it this issue were fixed it would be a 5 Star game

Why fix it when they can release a new version?. They won’t fix this. They released Worms 4 and haven’t touched this in years.

No longer works iPhone 13 mini and iPad mini 5. I can’t recover my old password. Their official website says the password reset service no longer works, so create a new account with a different email. Login by Facebook doesn’t work either and shows a message saying the developer is aware of the issue. He game used to be a lot of fun, but simply doesn’t work anymore.

One of the best games. This game is awesome it has action packed weapons it has skins it has voices and so much more this game makes me feel happy, although it takes forever to play online it is only because the game does not have many players so I definitely recommend this game for all ages and it is a great way to get joy

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING. I got this game in hopes of restoring a nostalgic feeling of playing worms. However, any of the “Worms” games are seriously outdated and no body plays them. I spent 30 minutes looking for a game in both worms 3, and worms 2. Needless to say I only found one match and it did not pass round 3. As sad as it pains me to say. You can still have fun with local games, just don’t expect multiplayer games ever.

Great Game. This game is amazing and the worms formula is still ridiculous fun. The game also makes good steps forward with the 4 new types of worms and the addition of glasses, and moustaches. However I feel like the speech bank is lacking slightly. If you could bring back Soulman from worms 2 I would rate 5 stars.

But there are a few things I haft to say The music gets annoying that is the ONLY thing I can criticise you could probably add a playlist with about 15 songs on it not including the old ones Plus a tip is if you go into pass and play you can add bots! Well. It’s okay but Minecraft rules

Love worms, but this needs an update. The weapons button and the attack button are now too small. They have also been moved away from centre of the screen so misfires happen often. The default zoom show to much etc. it feels as though they've lost the magic of the game. Does it load faster... Sure Do you have new clothes etc... Sure Is it better gameplay than worms 3... Nope.

What a waste of money. Does NOT have any support for newer models of IOS making the game look like $h/t. I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT BUYING THIS GAME. Not worth it! Would love a refund....

App Store. This app did not work to my expectations

Don’t bother. Game is clunky at the best of times, certainly not worth the $8. Wish I hadn’t spent it. Multiplayer is non-playable, waiting hours for a game. Was excited to see that worms was available but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Horrible multiplayer experience. Multiplayer in this game is unplayable, set up your worms, pass turn to player who doesn't get notified, wait 6 hours or more for them to pass your turn back to you, meanwhile everyone opens 10 different "simultaneous" games and now your waiting hours on end for them all to finish and I doubt they ever do since it can take an entire day for someone to have their turn, more than half the games people never send back your second turn, horrible!

Waste of money. I’m waving goodbye to $8.00 as purchasing this game is a waste of money. To my mind it doesn’t live up to the franchise and is not suitable for mobile devices. It’s a shame I didn’t have the chance to try the gameplay first before shelling out money, as I would have discovered this “editors choice”, really wasn’t choice at all. What a shame.

iPhone. Would not recommend playing this on an iPhone. Screen is too small and zooming in and out all the time is tedious and fiddly. Perhaps an iPad would be okay. After five minutes on the iPhone I decided it wasn’t worth it. Always been a big fan of the game on PC, right back to the very first version, which still remains my favourite.

Buggy.... While gameplay is as good as any other worms game there are multiple issues with logging into your worms account using Facebook method where it doesn't even try to connect. Controls don't work on some levels on iPhone 6+ but work on iPad, although I can't play the levels I am up to because I can't log in. I won't be playing again until there's an update...

And then.... So the game mechanics have greatly improved from the previous iterations of the worms franchise. However the multiplayer online play needs some serious adjustment from the developers. Firstly the expiry time for non active games needs to be adjusted. I currently have 30 games that are up to 15 days old waiting to be actioned by the opponent. Frankly this is ridiculous. Secondly, there are many bugs that occur when loading games. The servers appear to be somewhat unreliable. However the new class system and card system add new elements to the game which give the game a new dimension. There are some weapons that I miss from the previous games and some that need to be scrapped. In summation, there are many elements that need to be fixed before I can give this game anymore stars, but it's worth the purchase for the right price.

Great off air game. Great game when you have no wifi and need to burn some time (perfect for flights). I loved this game in my teens and I’m glad to see it’s been reborn on mobile!

Full of bugs!. Great game. Would have given it 5stars if it weren't for all the bugs in it. Really bad bugs too that can effect the outcome of multi player games and wipe all your progress in single player. Really hope they get this fixed the last couple of updates haven't addressed anywhere near all the bugs and still having to play single player all over again too bad I had some really good scores.

Great game!. I used to play this as a kid, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it on the App Store. Good to see there's the occasional update and bugs are always being fixed. Would be great if we had some kind of tournament for online, that gets you something, I dunno, just a thought :) 5/5

Great game. This game is very good, the action is fast and the new class and card mechanics work well. But there are two minor issues. 1. This is almost negligible but it would be cool if you added some more cards to the game. 2 the fact that there is only 4 themes you can play on is quite disappointing. It would make the game much better if you added more themes.

Bittersweet. There is a lot great about this game and a lot missing too. Bitter: Replays are broken, the camera is poor. Zooming bugs if you stretch/ pinch over the D-pad. D-pad is too large and cannot be set smaller. Bluetooth and Local Wifi modes are very disappointingly missing which leave a huge hole in game. Many features are missing which I enjoyed from my favourite Worms game of yet: Worms 3 (PC) where you could make custom maps and virtually customise everything. My favourite of this was the ability to have 8 worms on a team and I was very disappointed to see this missing. Sweet: Good to see some old weapons back, the new card system is great and even better; does not follow the recent pay2win trend of iOS games. Multiplayer is ok, but live play would be good for those with a better connection and less patience. I would love to see stats being given on how long someone takes to make their move and how often they forfeit and that criteria be entered in when finding a match to find a player that responds quickly or does not expect you to. Overall, a very good game with some major setbacks. 7/10.

Really Really Really Good Game :D. Such a good game, so cheap at 99c! Would still buy it at 5.00! It really good, the graphics are good, the controls are easy, and theres a massive range of weapons! Must buy if you love 2D war games. I also love how you can customize your worms with clothes, and that you can use playing cards. Really good game, must buy!!!!

Not very good :(. The graphics are pretty horrible and to play online with your friends you need to leave the game every time you finish your turn. ( it says sending turn, then asks you to quite the game and wait for them to send you a turn) waste of money

Bugs?. Really great game. But I had two levels left in campaign and I left the game and came back to find all of my data was gone. I thought oh well, I'll just start again, as it is fun. About an hour later and about 8-10 levels, I leave the game again only to come back and have the same problem. Please fix this. As I said, it's a really great game.

Promising but buggy. I was enjoying the app, but the longer you play it the more buggy you find it. I mainly play multiplayer and well... Sometimes you'll take your turn and what you see is completely different to your opponent. Furthermore I can't even play multiplayer anymore, I just get some bizarre icon which says no connectivity.. even after reinstalling, changing passwords and setting up a new account. The whole cards concept is lame. They would have been much better off polishing the basic gameplay than some half witted attempt in gaining more money through in app purchases.

Excellent!. This game is a lot of fun and definitely worth the buy! I have had no problems with the current version and am really enjoying playing this (so far) flawless game!

Double game size. Bigger maps more choices of worms weapons skins a lot of the campaign has errors after completing it doesn’t register the next time I log in

Where's all the COOL Weapons?. I can't give this a five star because the weapons here is not enough. On the PC, there are way more weapons. So please add the new weapons that was meant to be in Worms 3! There are also a few glitches when playing campaign. For example, the opponents sometimes would just pull out a weapon, move and then just freeze for the rest of the turn. This is super annoying and this needs to be fixed like the other bugs/glitches. Otherwise, this would be awesome. Rating: 7.5/10 Keep up the good work Team17!

Clunky and slow - Total rubbish. Paid eight dollars for the most poorly executed and designed game I have had the misfortune to play. The controls are very poorly calibrated. The weapons poorly configured. The worst part is attempting to play in multiplayer mode. To execute a move after your opponent you have to leave the game and re enter the game. To the developers of this game SHAME ON YOU!! having the nerve to charge for this totally lazy coding garbage. To put your name to this is professional suicide. (I attempted to play this on an iPad Pro 12.9)

Needs fixing. I'm a big fan of this franchise, but this game is just really frustrating to play. I preferred the old set-up where there was no D-pad or jumping buttons; instead these moves were simply carried out through different touches of the screen. What we have now is a screen littered with buttons that basically block the entire lower view of the screen; so now i have to constantly zoom in and out when my worm is unfortunate enough to be positioned at the screens bottom, just so i can even see what i'm doing & where my enemy is and that's really annoying. Return to the old system Team17 - people aren't so lazy as to learn a few moves, rather than being given them through buttons on the display.

I GOT WORMS!!. The addiction continues! I have had worms now since I was 15! I had a Nintendo 64 when I found them and have let them in ever since, Now worms 3 have brought smarter and fatter worms in and my worm problem has escalated !! Is there a cure? I don't wanna know!

Needs live turns. The turn-by-turn multiplayer is just too slow at times. Maybe a good feature could be two types of games to choose from in multiplayer: Turn-by-turn and LIVE. Or make a hybrid where if you have to leave the game it will change to turn-by-turn and can change back to LIVE when both parties are online.

Good but desperately needs fix!. Good game but there should be a setting when you create a new online game which sets how long each person gets between each turn otherwise they forfeit. Sick of having to wait hours for people to do their turn, with my only option to forfeit the game so I can start a new one. HUGE DESIGN FLAW!

Turn by turn multiplayer has no push notifications, never will. Very disappointed to pay for this only to find out the push notifications don’t work. I contacted support and confirmed they not only knew this but they also had no plans to correct it. Very disappointed.

Pretty good. I got this for these online multiplayer game play which is really good. But there's no notifications on the phone when it's your turn so you have to keep going in to the game to see if your friend has played. This should be an option as is with any other turn based game. I have had to delete and reinstall once as the multiplayer stopped working, game progress is saved so no big deal.

A disappointed team17 fan :(. It's great how they're still working on improving this game, but they've still got heaps to work on the controls, game play, overall it looks fine,. But needs fine tuning, very buggy, and please work on the options list so much is not working right on so many levels. So much potential but *sigh.. Team17, I still believe u guys can do better. Too much focus on the whole share on fb,twitter etc.. For heavens sake get ur game On u guys were da bomb. What happened man?

Great. This worms game is the best one so far. It's heaps easyer than Armageddon to use. The controls are way better. I only played the other ones a few times cause it was to hard to play. If you are a worms fan you will like this one as well.

Love it but. I love worms all of the games not all the newest one takes it away but this not why I’m writing I really want worms WMD because my Dad doesn’t want to get it yet because he wants me to have his Xbox 1 but now I just have a ipad

Great game..but needs an update. I'll get straight to the point. Game is great as we all know it but there is few glitches. Few guys already mentioned that we need to get into the game and refresh it to see who's turn is it. It would be great if that is fixed by notifications like other games, while you are at it you can add the time a move was made just as an add on.....and Yes PLEASE fix the zoom & move options. When we have a move or the opponent because it's getting really annoying. Thanks

Amazing perfect great.......... This game is amazing get it for one dollar now even 5 dollars is worth it. Great controls they are easy to use and the tutorial really explained all aspects of the game really well and it isn't a boring one. The campaign is fun and gets harder as it goes along. The online is perfect fast log ins and fast finding games there is almost no wait time in this game apart from the times it loads the map which is also very fast. In previous worm games it took a while to load the maps but this does it very fast. Good variety of weapons and all fun to use. More customisation of the worms is also fun and good. Their is a few this I would like to see in future updates. 1 I would like to see more customisables and getting clothes for your worms. 2 I would also like more to be able to purches more than just cards at the store. Really fun must get game

Could be great.... I play this a lot with my house mates. We love it BUT there are so many bugs! Surely the developers have played this enough to notice? Online games often have the controls just disappear and deleting the game is the only way to fix it. The zoom in game is frustrating, especially when watching other players turns. Selecting which game you want to play is a painful task, getting the right combination of refreshes and double clicks. The cloud system looses track often. Would love to see an update!!

Very enjoyable!. Playing this as a kid I was so happy to see it available in the app store. I like how they haven’t turned it into one of those collect coins to progress too much. The cards thing seems ok but haven’t been using it… Online play is very painful. I have started half a dozen games and it’s never a quick game. I haven’t even made it past turn 1… Not that that’s the app’s fault. I guess not many people playing?

Re-add french. I really like this game but with IOS 9, some games can only be played in english. Try to fix that.

Help Needed - Issues!. I love this game and so does my daughter so I bought on both our phones but we are having a hard time playing together as we cannot play it just gets us to set up our worms and pass the turn, I dunno. The other issue is when a call or message comes through the sound goes off and does not come back, worms is all about the sound! Please help! Question: when I am playing with another person online can I watch their moves?? I want to see what they do, if not then I want a refund for my daughter’s purchase as we might as well just pass and play.

Bad interface.. Game should utilize full screen and better resolution. On iPhone pro in landscape, tue left right sides are not used as in their black. Even the bottom and top of the screen is missing some secret time.

Good game. I love the game, it has some small details I don’t love but overall a lot of fun. Only thing that really bothers me is advertisements. I paid $7 for a game with ads?

Good game. This is the only mobile worms app with people playing. You have to mail your turns to one another like a text or what have you but you get use to it after a wile. Main problem is I keep getting games online that have a error message saying the game was started on another device or has become corrupt and you can’t erase these games so your phone slowly fills up with them making it close to impossible to play. Please fix I love worms since N64 classic fun!

Terrible controls. Way too small on iPhone. Not fun.. Regret spending a dollar on this. Characters barely visible on an iPhone screen. Mechanic is not fun.

Refunds?. Please refund the game. I had my finger on the home button and Touch ID activated so it caused me to buy the game even though I didn’t want to waste 7 dollars. Can you refund me the game?

Lost Save. I've been a fan of Worms since Xbox 360 and I was pretty satisfied with this game at the start. It wasn't perfect (zooming in and out needs some tweaking), but it was still fun. However something unexpected happened a week or so back. As I was playing, the game froze and crashed. When I restarted the game, all of my saved data was gone. I restarted my iPhone hoping the game had just glitched out. Sadly not the case. All of my saved data is gone. I was 3/4 of the way through the haunted world. I have no interest going through the game again and I've been pretty soured on this whole experience.

Great game. Just like the rest of the worms games, they have out done themselves in making an original game. They tried to introduce the cards function. Personally the cards aren't for me but I'm sure a lot of other people like it

Game stopped working.. After I paid $7 and both my brothers paid $1 a couple days later, suddenly the game stops letting us log in through Facebook, and none of us can get on the game at all. If you’re gonna shut down a game at least give the players a warning.

lack of documentation ruins the experience. Was vey happy to play again worms after alltheeses years, after 15 minutes trying to find out how to play within our wifi local network or through airplay "in the app" or online, I sadly gave up and didnt even start a game... waste of money... Just to be clear, Worms is great, Apps lack docs. This one follows the trends.

As good as I remembered. This game ate up hours of my life on the computer. I'm ashamed to admit this but in the interest of an honest review. When I downloaded this app I played for fiffteen hours straight and thought it was only Four or five. I'm not proud but there it is. Twenty stars

Glitches so I can move my worm. This game was fine to start out, but now (4 days later) whether I’m playing online or campaign when it’s my turn the timer will count down but the arrows and everything else won’t show up so I can’t move my worm. This is also happening to my friends who I got to also download this game to play with me. Not cool, especially for a game that we paid for to play. It also sometimes crashes randomly. So this game is basically useless now. Needs to be fixed.

Still has ads. When you pay 7 bucks for a game you don't expect to still get pop up ads. Game play is decent but there is free games like this.

Game doesn't load. When I go to play the game I tap the app it shows the loading screen for a second and it goes black and doesn't start the gane

Dreadful. Here's feedback. Though I loved worms growing up, you people made signing way, waaaay too much a pain in the a to sign up, I tried multiple ways, with multiple email addresses, still couldn't get in. Such a pain. Goodbye worms. What a nightmare. Sickening. Didn't play a single level because, sh@tty login. Poor call.

Purchase’s won’t restore whatsoever!. I got a new phone and tried to restore purchases of DLC I bought years ago and won’t restore whatsoever! I even tried buying the dlc again to restore the purchases that way but still refuses to work! Waste of money!!!

Slow, terrible and counter-intuitive. Absolutely awful game. Tried it for 30 min and it was so unbearable that I removed it from my phone. Worst $6.99 spent ever.

Good and bad. Game works well and is lots of fun. The touch controls need time to get used to. Bought the steel series nimbus controller to play this game and it does not work well at all. This needs to be fixed. Have to turn the controller off to press ok. Cannot configure what the buttons do. No legend to tell you what each button on the controller does. You can get into the inventory but cannot scroll or look through it with the controller. Will give 5 stars when this is fixed. Also when playing multiple online matches the game will sometimes load a game when it's not your turn yet. Which can be annoying. Also you can't make your own rules for online matches which is really disappointing.

Fun but crashes. It's a lot of fun when it works, but it occasionally gets into a state where it crashes on start.

Good Game..BUT. I give this one stars because while the game itself is fun and well done, the notifications are broke. I bought this to play with my friends which is what the Worms franchise is all about. Without notifications no one ever knows who’s turn it is without login in to check. It turns into a very drawn out game and eventually we just stop playing. It’s a huge issue with that game that should be addressed. Please fix this and I will fix my rating!

Expensive. My review is based upon paying $7 for the app and having a very short campaign. I literally played it for 3 days and beat the game. No updates which is crazy. Guess I will stick to bubble witch as it’s free and always being updated. Sorry but not sorry. Worst app purchase ever....

Extremly fun. This game blew my mind with how well made it is and how much fun it is. The campaign is very enjoyable and a decent challenge and the multiplayer is even better.

Great game but needs work. This game is a well executed implementation of the Worms franchise. It is still quite buggy though which leads to the 3 star review. First, the Worms replay will quite often replay completely different events than what actually occurred. It is possible to redo your turn if you kill the app prior to the game submitting your turn. Turn based multiplayer leads to a bad experience. Players should be able to play one game at a time rather than one turn at a time to facilitate a better experience. Currently 90% of my games end up being orphaned and not completed due to the opponent. Backflips are not intuitive. In the old Worms game you would press backspace and the worm would backflip and go slightly backwards. In this game backflips go straight up and don't go backwards unless you use the directional pad at the same time you jump to adjust your trajectory. I don't feel as though this was adequately covered in the tutorial or on your website. Finally, I will say that the campaign felt pretty weak and short and didn't feel very challenging compared to previous games in this franchise.

Didn't really like it. I like the game, worms on computer so I thought that maybe the game could be used on the go. I looked at it and everything seemed okay. But then the controls started to frustrate me a lot. The trigger and jump button were right next to each other and when I wanted to trigger, I accidentally jump and vice versa. Also, the AI in the game always seem to go for annoying and repetitive long distance trick shots with a bazooka or something in the campaign. They would use the wind to keep doing this over and over againIt felt like they did it on purpose to frustrate me. I mean, would real life players really keep on doing the trick shot thing because the campaign AI keep on doing that. It would be a little nice for a change of these things.

Never played multiplayer. I bought this game for one purpose, the single player. And in that aspect I am extremely satisfied. I love the randomly generated quick battles and the large amount of weapons to use. However, in terms of multiplayer, I don't really care. When I play multiplayer games, I usually intend on actually playing the game. This seems like more of a Words With Friends type of multiplayer, which I don't like. I feel that it would be really nice to have two different online options: the current online, and live games with preferably more than two players if possible. But overall, the game is very fun with nice controls and really quick games perfect for mobile play. Just can't enjoy multiplayer.

Can't even play.. I was pretty stoked to see a worms game show up, and it was free. I've never played a game one franchise, but have watched many youtubers play and always wanted to try it out myself. I downloaded the game, and it brings up a prompt to create an account. I figured it wouldn't be a problem, but then I put all of my info to create one, I sit for 2-3 minutes watching a loading animation just to be told I can't connect or something like that to make an account. Kind of disappointing, however my wifi strength isn't the best here, I'll try somewhere else but I doubt it will still work. Not sure what the problem is, but I hope I can play at somepoint. However reading many reviews, a lot of people have connection issues. So I bet even if I make an account I won't be able to play. Like I said, seemed cool, but being prevented to play is kind of annoying. I have honestly no idea if the game is worth it. And I don't even know if it's optimized for iPhone 4s.

Was great. Everything was working fine the first day I had it. I played a couple online matches with a friend and a few of the local stuff. But today the online matches won't work. After playing a match and returning to play another, it no longer allowed me to saying I wasn't connected to the server. And connecting to the server took forever then once I was finally connected it told me I couldn't play the match on this device even though I literally played a match 10 minutes prior. What does it even mean when it says match data missing cannot play on this device? It's infuriating. It also take an unbelievably long time to connect to the server for some reason. Is it the time of day? Is it my device? How am I supposed to play!? All in all this game is great for a few hours when it works, worthy of 5 stars, but then it all goes down the toilet once it no longer functions

Glitchy. I've been playing this for years now, and it's been consistently buggy from one problem to another. There has been long stretches where my friends and I can't play until an update comes out or we get a newer device. I'm on iPad mini 3 and it will no longer connect to Facebook so I had to create a new account losing all accumulated stats and preferences. Now I search for their user names and it can't find them even when we are right next to each other confirming the validity of the search. Don't spend money on this, it will just lead to a waste of time and added frustration.

Buggy Multiplayer. This game is amazing when it works, my only major complaint is with the online multiplayer. Half the time when I am playing a match against my brother who is in the same room it will randomly not count turns which ruins the entire experience for both of us. Instead of executing your turn it will instead show your character just standing there for his entire turn. This can turn a victory for you into a defeat instead, this really needs to be fixed ASAP and I can't say you should buy this game until the multiplayer is fixed as it is currently unplayable

Good game, lots of issues.. 1. Entering into the next turn too quick takes you back into the one you just completed. 2. Worms killed in one turn reappear in next turn. 3. Sometimes can't move. 4. Sometimes can't zoom. 5. Sometimes other player can't move. Beyond the bugs, there are other issues that need to be addressed. For example, 1. The fat worms extra damage isn't worth the extreme limitations to movement. 2. Rope control needs improvement. It's way too easy to accidentally go up or down when trying to swing. Super ropes would be nice. 3. Using the teleport to randomly place worms at the beginning seems to mostly put them in the same places in a different order in predetermined spots rather than randomly placing them. My biggest gripe so far is…1. Pass-n-play is fine for some situations, but it needs to have at least local live multiplayer. Having said all that I still play it every day. It's a good game, but it could be better. Put some polish on it.

Too many issues. I've always loved the Worms franchise but for a paid app there are way too many issues. Login issues where I've had to create a new login and completely start over. Multiplayer issues - not sure what but I had max number of games and it showed it was never my turn for months so apparently wasn't updating. Sync errors popped up all the time. Now notifications aren't working so can't get notified when my turn in multiplayer. If it was a free app I wouldn't complain at all. But for a paid app it should be way more glitch free. Their support team isn't helpful. And now that there is a Worms 4 out they obviously are just looking to make money and not care about making sure they have quality products.

All u guy that write reviews don't read. They told u to make sure to close out of everything and u should have made sure iCloud was on and it's all saved before u update i always do on any update on any game and I did and have had no problems all these other company's never fix any problems and leave there games jacked up or they just don't work at least team17 still does take pride in there games and at the end u write it's still fun or still a good game then what's the point in y'all given a one star review I'm sure u just needed to take ur bad day out on someone huh we'll keep it to ur self

Enjoyable but buggy. This is a very enjoyable game but unfortunately it still has a few bugs. In multiplayer it will often delete the other players previous turn, leaving it look as though the other person simply didn't do anything. Additionally the notification system for new turns appears to be somewhat hit and miss, sometimes you'll receive an on screen notification and the flag on the app, other times nothing at all and you have to enter the app and refresh to see that it is your turn. I would also love to see some kind of a fast forward option, that would allow the game turns to move a little faster in multiplayer. Other than these issues this is a good game and would probably have 4-5 stars. I will resubmit review when updated.

Fun, but not a replacement for 2. I have been a worms game fan for 10 years. This one has some good elements like improved graphics, better control feel and better online play. However, this game is no substitute to worms 2 in my experience. Some of the new game elements, like characters and cards, can be fun - but without a way to disable those options the game gets pretty boring as most online players seem to buy a lot of high-grade cards and use then to win easily. I would consider continuing to play this game if there was a way to make game modes without cards or characters so I could play with my friends locally and show some real skill.

Well.... I had my hopes up for this game and I am sad top say I'm a little disappointed! The card mechanic is a great idea but that's not what bothers me. First of all it reuses a LOT (if not all) from the Worms Revolution game! Keeping the classes is a great thing, buy keeping the themes and the clothes is just... Why? But I can forgive that, because the looks don't matter that much. My biggest turn-off is the online play! Why make it like that Draw Something and Words with friends type matchmaking? You have to wait HOURS to get to your turn! As of now I don't think it is worth the money it is asking for. And this is coming from a hardcore Worms fan... Let's just hope the Clan Wars game will be better!

Needs a lot of work.... Where do I start? The game is great if you've never played it. It's 'Worms', try to kill opposing worms in the most clever fashion. In terms of gameplay, there's a lot to be worked on in this version. Need to multitask and want to return to your game? No problem, but all of your controls are now gone. Did you just watch a replay of something that NEVER happened? Probably, due to the buggy replay system. Trying to resurrect a worm with lightning and trying to find the button to switch the direction of the lightning bolt as it says in the instructions? Stop looking. There isn't one. To me, for $5 a game should at least make it seem like it was play tested. This version just seems like it was rushed; that, along with the aforementioned mistakes plus countless others just seems Ike a waste at this point. My suggestion, save your $5 and wait for them to improve the game. I have never gave a low rating but this game really does have a lot of potential once it gets fixed.

Fun game but horrible online service. This game is fun when you play local. It's even better when you play with friends locally. But online is a drag. I can't access any online feature due to any excuse of a problem. It's either server error, login error, won't stop loading or just glitches. That is during the day. At night, at around 10pm, all of these problems are magically fixed and I can play it just fine. This game would be a lot better if this was fixed. I'll change my rating once it's fixed.

Love Worms, but NOT BUGS!. I wish I was giving this a 5-star review because I'm a long-time worms fan, but the bugs are killing it. Their so frequent that I feel like "bugs" is the wrong term. I got this for online play, which is the problem. From disappearing games, to friends disappearing off of friends list & becoming UNSEARCHABLE. Occasional lagging of game-play while the timer counts down normally. Other times, I've seen multiple, consecutive turns pass without the game registering a single move being made, even though there was. Please fix it all! The game itself is great, I just need it to WORK! After that I will gladly make other game ENHANCEMENT suggestions, but first and foremost, fix this thing!

"Turn based". Why is it I have to send my turn and wait till the other player makes their move? Usually when this happens I have to wait 1 hour before they decide to do anything, you need to make it were both players start a game and it can't be finished until one side is eliminated without waiting for them to send their turn and if that doesn't work give each player 1 minute to attack or their turn is done because waiting 1 hour to play a game is outrageous. What is this a play station three update no it's worms a turn based shoot to kill and I really don't want to wait 1 hour until I am allowed to move again. And the commenters are just as bad, you know what they say don't complement an artist if their work isn't perfect. So stop saying this game is perfection because it's not.

Why all the changes?. This worms is a little off. It's not the same. Some new features are good. The new D-pad for mobility and aiming works great. But where's the aim line for shotgun? Also the campaign needs more missions for the price we pay. I finished this way to fast compared to worms 2. More levels, more tougher levels like in worms 1 & 2. At least in worms 2 there were 3 different games for each campaign level. I'd go back and play them all. The different size worms is kinda cool.... Ok and what about these "cards"? I don't dig it. No challenge with those in play. People that play worms appreciate the strategy and complexity of the weapons. This game worms 3 seems like its more for beginners..

Classic Worms BUT.... Be prepared to lose so many games. I don't mean win/lose, I mean corrupt data lose. Their cloud sync is horrible and has not only corrupt so many of my matches, it has also wiped my campaign data multiple times. I have a group of friends who got this game at the same time to start playing each other and we love it, and we put up with the terrible cloud sync because it is so awesome. At first I wanted to comment on adding 3 or 4 player in the online portion, but it's quite obvious their servers would not be up to the task. Great game, ton of fun, BUT just be conscious that you will get frustrated from the almost weekly corrupt data.

Good, but needs work. First off, good game, but there are a few areas that need some attention. The online games I try to create NEVER work. I have not been able to play a single game that way. I always get the message, "Sorry, you are unable to create at this time". Every once in a blue moon I am able to get into the online game I create, but then after I've placed all of my worms and submit the turn, it says there was an error sending the turn... ??? Also, you can't change your team icon after choosing. You can change the speech bank and gravestone, but not the icon? If you could fix these things, it might be worth the five bucks. Thankfully, I got it for free.

Online play needs reworking / AI challenge is low. Gameplay is fun - if you've played a Worms title before, you know what it'll be like. Probably worth the $0.99 right there, to have it on iPad. However, once the Campaign is finished, there is little challenge remaining. I have completed the Campaign at 3 stars, and have yet to lose a Quick Match against the AI at the hardest level. Biggest flaw is online play. Playing against other players should be fun and challenging, but the system doesn't work. I have just one game that's gone beyond one opponent turn, and plenty of others that never made it that far. Where are the people who want to play?

Needs Update. Developers Please Read. The notifications don't work on multiplayer. I never know when it's my turn, I have to keep randomly opening the app. Other things they should add is maybe a chat room? Find and battle the people you choose. Also, if a player doesn't send their online turn within 24 hours then they should automatically take the loss. Nobody likes to wait days for a opponent to send their turn. Thanks!

Worms 3. I grew up playin worms i live it. With that said i have a few issues with this game. I have a buncha games with ppl whose last move was 5 days ago.. When do they forfeit??.. Thats far too long to wait for a move. Single player shows replays of things that didnt happen (someone else said that also).. There are multiple bugs in online play like the game saying its my turn and i go and it says its their turn.. And also itll say that the game is corrupted on some games.. This game would be an easy 5 stars for me if people didnt get to take a week in between each move and the online bugs were gona i can deal with the bogus replays.. Overall im just happy to be playing worms, just not 5 star happy yet

Online needs to be reworked. Great game, I used to play the original on pc. Very similar in regards to that and I love it. The reason I give 4 stars is that online play needs to be completely reworked. As in other comments, you go to play online and you realize you are playing with someone who doesn't even have the game open. Therefore you end up just taking your first turn and waiting indefinitely for the other player to open the app and play. This is a very dumb way to play an online game. If the player is not online at the time, you should not be able to play with them. It should be real time and a time-based turn system, just like the campaign mode. Team 17, please take this into consideration, I would love to play this game online in real time.

I hate this game it does not let me win or play with money. I hate it

Great customer support. So I downloaded Worms 3 because I am a huge fan of these games. Shortly thereafter I ran into some crash issues. I use a 3GS. It turns out that my device is not supported. I emailed Team 17 and they gently informed me that my device was not supported, but went on to offer several troubleshooting options, including sending them bug reports so they could continue to work with me. While I wouldn't recommend people with the 3GS to download this (it simply doesn't do the game justice), I thought I would post this review so that users who might be hesitant to spend $5.00 on a game can know that if they choose to do so, they can rest assured that they are dealing with a friendly, reputable, and responsive development team. And yes, I am some how able to play to play this game on my antique iPhone.

It's Worms. But AI and internet play feels off.. I honestly play this game every day. I've always liked the worms series, since the original PC Worms Armageddon. What I think this game lacks the most is a live multiplayer function. It's just not as fun to not be able to flow with the match. It's the equivalent of pausing the game after every turn to let your opponent go get coffee. And then possibly forget that you exist... And to be clear, by AI feels off I mean that the computer teams (who are programmed to use wind speed to deadly precision) are all suicidal. It feels as if they're programmed to troll. Almost every time I'm about to win, the enemy worm decides it really doesn't want to give me the satisfaction of the last shot. Very capable of killing one of my own worms, it decides to fire a bazooka shell at the perfect angle to return to sender. And that's just assuming the enemy worm didn't just decide to just LITERALLY walk into the water. It's annoying and makes me wish there were ways to customize the quick play option. And for the record, the suicides come from every CPU worm team regardless of preset multiplayer level. As a worms game, it gets the job done. I just wish it did a little more. Or killed itself a little less.

I just want to play Worms 3 with my best friend. Dear Worm Developers, I have had much fun playing your game. However, recently I have not been getting notifications when it is my turn to play against my friend Tyler. I have checked all of my iPhone notification settings and I can assure you that is not the problem. We really want to continue our series against each other...but it's a pain when you have to text each other "just played my turn" after every turn you take. Besides, hearing "INCOMING!!!" blasted out of your phone speakers when it's time for you to strike back is one of the best parts of the Worm experience. We even thought about just playing Worms 2...but we don't want to play Worms 2. We want to play Worms 3. That's like having NBA Live '97 with Mitch Richmond on the cover... and then playing NBA Live '95 with the old rosters instead. If you could please fix this then I would rate this app 5 stars no problem.

It's great, but needs some updates to the multiplayer.. Yeah, the games fun and all, though I have a few gripes. Like how in the older games, certain items were limited to a certain amount per round, and once used up, you could only use them in another round. But this one makes it permanent. Then again it's not that big of a deal, but it could annoy other players. Now the multiplayer. It doesn't work. At all. Please,please, PLEASE! Fix this! It's a very large part of worms and really takes away from the experience not having it. Also, there's a lot of connection problems with my account, along with everyone else's.

It has potential. This is a fun game. I like the weapons and the worms but it's a very slow game. Also a very buggy one. I was trying to play online with a friend and it kept saying it was the other persons turn but neither of us could do anything. After starting three different games we finally got it to work but it took an hour to play one match. I had completed at least six levels in campaign mode and for what ever reason all my work was deleted. Now I have to start over again. But I still had the coins I already collected. It mad no sense but still is very frustrating.

Great game, multiplayer is very buggy. Love the game, but am consistently having issues with multiplayer. Some turns just don't occur (you make a move and on your next turn it appears the last turn never happened). Sometimes data gets corrupt and it locks up the game (you click on the 'Go' button and it says it has an error retrieving data and you can no longer continue your active match). Working on a strong wifi network, at least 50% of my matches have some sort of failure during them. Please make some stability improvements around online friendly matches!!!!

Even better than the previous ones!. I'm not a huge fan of the new card system, but thankfully it is optional for the campaign mode. I wish there were two separate online modes with and without cards. Perhaps in an update? The new class system really adds a new twist to the game without feeling gimmicky like the cards do. Sacrificing movement for power and vice versa is definitely an interesting concept for the series. And the 5 health the scientist gives each round certainly changes the game. All in all a great purchase; it's a steal at $0.99.

Is A Blast, but Needs a Boost. Worms has done a great job leaping from platform to platform. I'm having a blast and find myself laughing out loud when I or another player creates a mega blunder / mega destruction! Improvements to online gameplay can be made. Why can't I start an online game on my iPhone and continue it on the iPad? (How about a way to sync offline games too?) I wish there were a way to guarantee a more active online experience. Most my games seem to have inactive partners. Perhaps add a bunch of unlockables (costumes, etc) to spend coins on. That would give players something to work toward besides cards. So few people continue online games once they're losing. Perhaps make it so that people automatically forfeit if they don't take a turn after X amount of time. Please add more campaigns and offline game modes. Seems very limited now. Keep up the great work!!! Love it!

Very glitchy. I love this game and I'm stubborn. I'm stubborn because I refuse to let it go despite the multiple issues it gives me to do so. Don't plant a mine on a hillside or the game will relocate it for you. Don't play body count or your high score will become the high score for every level. Don't play online...ever. It's useless. Trust me when I say...it's useless. This game gets randomly updated and the background looks flashier, but none of the problems ever get fixed. But why do I play it then, you ask? Nostalgia. I played it a ton on a PC many moons ago. Every time I play now, my mind thinks it's playing that same game from years past. Truth is it's not, and it's almost a sin because it's such a great game when it runs like it should. If the developers haven't read the other dozen comments, I doubt they will read mine. But if you are reading....pretty please with sugar on top, can you fix the game?!

Good game, but need bugs smashed. Love this game, HOWEVER it has some major flaws which inhibit Smooth gameplay. Firstly, the online play is basically useless. I tried to play several games to no avail. Second, the campaign mode has been glitching on the levels ever since I played offline. As soon as it starts before I can do anything it says I'm defeated. Pass and play and quick game have both been ok for me which make the glitches bearable. But until they're fixed, it's a small malnourished sibling to the original computer versions. I don't normally write reviews but I love the originals enough to give my input to fellow diehard fans.

Better game, worse online multiplayer. Worms 3 brings a total rebuild to what worked in 2. The graphics load faster and it all looks prettier than ever. The new weapons are cool, especially the pigeons. The new weapon menu is annoying, not sure why they added the scroll to left/right. The single player is great and the new card system is gimmicky, but I can see the appeal. The customizing of the worms is pretty much the same, the new classes change up the game, and I miss the old hats though. The new in app online multiplayer is awful. It takes forever to play a random player and to get to the next turn. What was wrong with the Apple Game Center? It was so much easier. Turn by turn multiplayer was a favorite part of 2, and it's seriously lacking here. Overall looks, pretty, feels like worms, but they gotta fix multiplayer.

Solid. If you're a fan of the many previous worms releases, you'll be a fan of this one. The dialog is still super funny, the gameplay is still consistent with skill typically deciding the winner as opposed to dumb luck, and the campaign missions are as expected. The online, which is new to me as far as the game being designed for online (I know they made other games possible to play online, and I'm sure the creators have already made other worms games that debuted with online play but this is my first experience) is refreshing and different, so all in all- it's $0.99 well spent.

Sheer Worms Perfection. Worms 3 is the best new version of the multiplayer battle game. The asynchronous turn system is a fantastic innovation. Players no longer have to huddle around the computer just to play an entire round. I already finished a battle with someone. It was a great experience. The turn system is excellent, because it gives me time to work and do other things before making my move. The touch-based controls are a little awkward on a tablet, but I still managed to control my worm without much of a hitch. Overall, this is one of the best multiplayer games for the iPad.

I love Worms!. To put it simply, this game is great. Gameplay is exciting, weapons are clever, and customization is limitless. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the screen. Every level is on such a large scale, and it wouldn't be such a problem if it were easy to zoom in, but it's virtually impossible to do so and navigate the screen and try to play at the same time when zoomed in, as you can't click anywhere without it jumping to another part of the screen. Other than that, Worms 3 is an excellent game all around. But please fix this error.

Mostly well done - needs a couple improvements. Overall, it's a good adaptation of Worms. All the fun weapons you'd expect. Controls take a little getting used to but they work well. Turn-based games played over Game Center work well - but with each update of Worms, they lose your active games for some reason...hopefully that won't always be true. My main complaint is the turn time is way way to short to plan a meaningful attack. I would love to see custom turn time added games played against other players

Unexpected quality. The game is really bad and i would like my money to be refunded.

Could be 5 star. Worms 3 has potential to be a five star game. The online play has some major issues though. My whole house plays along with many of my other friends. We have been big fans of the worms series for about a decade now. The problem with worms 3 is the fact that our turns don't send properly to one another. I'll take a turn and kill 2 of my buddy's worms. My friend will view the same turn and I'll do something like walk into a land mine instead of what I actually did. It really takes away from the fun of the game and we have stopped playing due to this issue. It happens A LOT! Fix the problem and 5 stars for sure!

Broken gameplay. 1. Online MP does not register your moves sometimes. Could be something you did in the last few seconds, could be your entire turn. 2. Jumping backwards is nearly impossible given both control options and results in waste of time and turn. Controls need improvement. 3. Worm spawn locations sometimes do not at all coincide with the placement you chose. Sometimes it will even place your worm on top of a mine on the opposite end of the map even though you chose to spawn nowhere near it. These are just a few bugs that interfere with gameplay drastically. Instead of fixing these things, which I personally have submitted to Team17 (and they acknowledged it), they are releasing new skins, hats, flags, and other cosmetic bull that sells and makes them money. Otherwise it is a fun game, just be ready to curse everything because you will lose a lot of matches you should have won were these bugs fixed.. --VERY DISAPPOINTED worms fan (since Windows 98 days).

Great Game, horribly buggy. I have always been a massive fan of The Worms games, and this game is no exception. I personally love the turn-based multiplayer. However, after about 2 months of gameplay, their servers started consistently corrupting online games. I'd say only about 1/2 of the online games I start are able to be completed - half of them either vanish entirely, show a "game is corrupt" or the player times out (possibly it vanished on their end). I also once lost all the completed single player records - their web programming/syncing is basically terrible, and these have yet to be addressed by an app update. Not sure if it's worth the money... Still a great game though.
