Trash. I paid for a parking pass through ParkWiz. App worked fine to get into the garage. When I tried to access the app so I could scan to get out of the garage it would not allow me to sign in through Apple, which is the way I have always logged in. We ended up having to tell the garage we lost the ticket as I could not access the app. I was charged an additional 20 dollars to get out from the garage because app was not working. I sent and email explaining the situation to ParkWiz with receipts and time stamps and they didn’t help. I just now was issued a 20 dollar credit for the app. Which I cannot use because it will not allow me to sign in to my account to use the credit. I asked ParkWiz to reimburse me to my credit card since I was charged and the credit is essentially useless. Very frustrated and now I use Spot Hero and have no issues ever.

Terrible Parking. The App is fine ... from a functionality standpoint. The problem is that Park Whiz sells you parking at the world’s crappiest parking garages ... at least in NYC. I had to wait TWO HOURS AND FOUR MINUTES in a line of 70 people for my car to be returned at a “City Parking” garage on West 53rd Street tonight. TWO HOURS, outdoors, at night, in New York City in January. With my wife and a 12-year old. All the non-English speaking attendants could say was “momento” over and over. I contacted Park Whiz who said they were in Chicago and could do absolutely nothing. They provided me with a “management phone number” for their contractor, City Parking, but no one answered. Park Whiz was ZERO HELP. I started to assume my car had been stolen. Worst parking experience of my life. Unbelievably poor customer service from Park Whiz and their subcontractor/business partner City Parking. Avoid this App at all costs.

Unreliable. Downtown Sacramento. I arrived early and entered the parking lot greeted by the parking attendant who had no clue about my printed parking pass. He told me to pay in order to park so I assumed I pulled into the wrong lot. There was no where else around the area that could’ve been the correct lot so I drove around in circles over and over again to see if I had missed a hidden entrance somewhere. I finally had to call customer service where they also could not lead me to the correct location. My circling around went on for half an hour until the rude and frustrated girl on the phone finally asked her manager who led me back into the same lot I had originally entered. I told her what happened earlier and that the gentleman did not accept my printed pass, nor did he have a clue what it was. They called the parking attendant and he finally let me park, still clearly confused. I was half an hour late to my conference even though I arrived early just to avoid such a mess. Good luck with this system, I’m never using it again.

In a big city, GET THIS APP. This is my very first app review in 9 years, but I love this app that much. We always rent cars when we travel and often need to find parking in large cities with expensive parking. THIS APP ROCKS! We decide on our plans for the next day and book parking the night before, but you can also easily book 5 minutes before. We are able to link directions to our spot from the app, leave our car, and tour all day. We saved at least 50% in Chicago and probably 25% in DC. Super easy app to navigate, super easy to pay, super easy to park, super great prices. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Beware extra charge. I’m finding that the posted rate at Manhattan garages are cheaper than prepaid rates through apps. Also Parkwhiz’s oversized vehicle policy of 181” allows attendants to tack on an extra $15 for vehicles which generally aren’t oversized. We’ve parked for 15 years in manhattan and never paid an oversized vehicle fee for our Toyota Highlander, then booked through Parkwhiz with the Rose Garage and had to pay $15 on top of our prepaid fee. Since we prepaid it wasn’t like we could drive away and go elsewhere. Before booking check the policy of the actual garage. Icon is clear on its website that our car is not considered oversized so I suppose I could book through Parkwhiz with them and not worry about being overcharged. But last time I went into the city the apps wanted to charge me 45-50$ whereas on the garage websites the posted rates for 12 hours were as low as $30, and I ended up driving in and finding a very convenient parking garage that had a special rate for grand total $21. So Next time I’m just going to drive in.

EXCELLENT customer service!!!. I don’t live in a big city so I don’t have the opportunity to use ParkWhiz very often. However, whenever I travel, I use the app. I recently bought an overnight parking spot in Chicago and didn’t realize there were no “in and out privileges“. When I went to dinner approximately 45 minutes after I first parked, I couldn’t get back in using the app. I ended up paying $25 for my original spot then another $51 the next morning. ParkWhiz customer service was very prompt in reaching out to me in my confusion and extremely helpful. I was very satisfied with their efforts and now they have a customer for life. Thank you ParkWhiz!!!!

Worst customer service. This company is part of Best Parking and every time there is a issue with my parking ParkWhiz is the company that responds. In this case I pre-paid for a garage and when I arrived the garage was full. And of course you can’t dispute it through the app, you have to email their backwards customer service that gets back to you at a snails pace. All I want to do is get a refund but instead of calling the garage to confirm that it was full at the time I paid to park there, they ask me for receipts of parking if I parked elsewhere. What difference does it make? The fact is I paid for parking through your app that through no fault of mine I was unable to use. Verify that and give me a refund! It takes weeks of back and forth before they give you your money back. I eventually have to threaten to report them and contest it on my credit card before they give me my money back! It’s ridiculous! What is wrong with them?????? Terrible service!!!

TOTAL RIP IF EVENT IS CANCELLED. Bought a parking pass and while driving to park, started raining and bride called and cancelled the beach wedding and moved it to our chapel. No time to try and cancel parking while driving in the rain and lost my money! DO NOT OAY IN ADVANCE FIR PARKING WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF YOUR EVENT IS CANCELLED! I am deleting this app from my phone and will pay via kiosk from now on! Update I was contacted by ParkWhiz and they were kind enough to credit my reserved parking that we could not take advantage of due to stormy weather. Great customer service and I am totally back in the happy group once again!

Service doesn’t work. Used ParkWhiz to prepay for parking but service didn’t work and was a hassle to get a refund. Arrived at the Parking Garage, tried four times to get the ParkWhiz QBar accepted, scan device read it, processed it then said “access denied”. Got and used an old school parking ticket. Asked ParkWhiz for refund, they wanted a photo of parking receipt. There is no receipt, at the parking garage payment kiosk you insert your ticket and it marks a barcode on it. Then when you exit you insert the ticket in a device that reads the tickets and opens the gate the device keeps the ticket. Like most folk I did not take a picture to document proof for ParkWhiz. Evidently ParkWhiz does not have technology that logs customer activity so no records of entering or exiting so it’s up to customer to prove their service doesn’t work. Ultimately I needed to provide a picture of my credit card account showing the charge. The service doesn’t work and is a big hassle for nothin.

Company doesn’t care when things go wrong. I booked parking through the app yesterday. The garage is one of the ones which opens via sensor and then you get in and scan your pass. I tried several times to activate the sensor and it wouldn’t work. I called support and they reached out to both the manager and the building and came back on the line to report neither answered. The rep looked for another space nearby and both options were going to make me late for work but I was willing to accept it just so I can park and get to work. She informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new reservation. When I asked her she could not simply book another space for me with what I had already paid her response was “we don’t offer free parking”. Hello, I paid for this! The spot was literally a dollar and some change more than the spot I booked which, given then inconvenience and the fact that this made me late for work didn’t seem like a big deal. I just asked for a refund and deleted the app. Not supporting a business that is not willing to make it right when things go wrong. This was a horrible first experience and ensured it will be the last. Beware! If things go wrong they will not help!!

Bad App, Bad Experience. Do NOT use this app. It is clear that they do not put much effort into vetting the parking garages on their app. I downloaded this because I was looking for parking downtown for an event I was going to. I found a parking garage close to my event and bought my pass ahead of time. When I get there, the parking attendant awkwardly informs me that they do not accept ParkWhiz because they don’t have the proper system for it. The kind attendant informed me that he has tried to call ParkWhiz multiple times to be taken off the app because this isn’t the only time this has happened. I ended up late for my event and having to pay twice, once on ParkWhiz and once with the parking garage. Thankfully ParkWhiz refunded me for the ticket I got on their app, but not for my time, the extra parking pass I had to purchase, or for being late to my event.

Can’t create a login. I bought a parking pass via browser. Asks if I want to view pass in phone app. I select and download the app. Great! Parking pass shows up immediately. Save it to Apple wallet. I try to login to app but I can’t because I don’t have a password. Expected. Try to create an account but I receive an account already exists with the email I used to purchase the pass originally. Now I can’t get into the app. I don’t have a password and I can’t create an account. It’s nice the created an account, but they did it only halfway. If pass is bought online via computer browser, you’re screwed ever to getting into your account via the app. If I didn’t save it to my Apple wallet, I’d be really screwed. I decided to go back to the email and select the “View pass in app” again. As long as all of the login and signup screens are closed, the pass will show up in app again. When purchasing online via browser, a place to enter a password would be helpful.

Pointless- possibly a scam. I paid $5 (thankfully it wasn’t more - because I still got ripped off ) for parking and when I got there the attendant told me that parking was FREE. So now they have my cc info as well, so that’s just perfect. When I sent them a message the next day (with a photo of the receipt from the garage showing $0 charged- as proof), I was told that I reserved general parking, not event parking and so far have not heard back from them so now I’m writing this review. UPDATE: they refunded my $ and apologized for the mix-up. This app is very convenient and easy to use. They just need to make sure that they charge the correct rates based on event parking or general parking.

Exceptional Customer Service. Many company could learn a lot from you. You have great customer service. It is refreshing not to sit on hold for what seems like hours most of us do not have to spare, and equally refreshing to have responsive, kind representatives that are empowered to do something about a customers concerns. There are no trite, generic replies coupled with inaction. I call or text - and you resolve my issue immediately with no pushback. I LOVE IT. With the exception of one or two bad experiences with the garages themselves, ParkWhiz has provided me with a service I have come to rely on and appreciate - particularly when I’m in an unfamiliar city. PLEASE keep up the good work. Don’t lose your “thing”.

Great resolution!. We used the app to book at a lot near the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa- the north teco lot. When we got there the attendant was rude to us about our reservation and then told us to just park. As soon as we left he wrote us a ticket for 40 dollars! I immediately called Park Whiz customer service and they assured me that they would take care of the situation. The ticket was dismissed and I didn’t have to deal with the lot at all. Everyone we spoke to about the matter was very helpful and supportive. I probably won’t use that particular lot again, but I will definitely use Park Whiz again!

A most frustrating and agonizing experience. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I had the worst experience one could have and I’m sure many other users would agree. The $22 ticket paid for and issued with my concert ticket stated arrival starting at 7:00pm. Why so late to a concert where the recommendation was to arrive at 6:00pm when doors opened? At around 7:10pm, the attendant was ushering a long line of cars in. The parking garage was packed. I, along with a long line of cars ended up crawling up through 4 stories of packed garage lanes and back down towards the exit spending 30 minutes in a most futile attempt to find a space. Most cars entering did not have a prepaid ticket and the attendant did not stop cars from entering knowing that the garage was full. I only found a space because I parked in a corner spot that was not a marked stall. Most cars in front and behind me ended up forced to exit. I arrived 15 minutes late to my concert because of this gross mismanagement. To add salt to injury, exiting after the concert took 45 minutes. No attendant was managing the exiting traffic on the upper floors and a fight almost broke up amongst two frustrated drivers. What should have been a special outing ended up being an agonizing frustrating ordeal. I would definitely avoid parking with this company at all cost.

Only works sometimes. I’ve used this app 4 times for parking. It worked twice. When it works, it’s great, but I’m not going to use an app that only works 50% of the time. The first time it just wouldn’t scan and there was no help at the venue. Had to have the car behind me move and found another spot on the street. They did give me a credit after at 5 or 6 emails back and forth, so not a good experience and frustrating customer service. This last time, I pulled up and scanned, and it said it was already used. This time there was a help button, and the person opened the gate after I gave them the number from the reservation (as a line of cars backed up behind me). One time not working I passed off as a fluke. Twice is making me delete the app.

Friendly Helpful Customer Support. I accidentally booked parking for current day and time instead of the future so window had closed for cancellation. I then immediately booked for the correct day/time, then contacted emailed customer support explaining what had happened, why I could not cancel since the parking time period had already begun. I received a cheerful, apologetic reply from customer support not long after, indicating that a refund would be issued. Lo and behold, it was! Turned out to be a fine garage, not far from DCPA that allowed us a quick getaway from downtown Denver.

Avoid!. The scan did not work on exit from the garage I booked. Nobody answered the attendant button. There was a phone number to call and they didn't answer either and I left a voice mail which I never received a response to. I had to have the cars behind me back up then drive back up 7 floors, go down to the lobby desk only to be told that sometimes they have issues and told me that since Laz manages the garage they couldn’t do anything and told me to pay the $27 and take it up with ParkWhiz. Overall it took me almost an hour to get out with all of this hassle. ParkWhiz asked me to send my credit card statement showing the charge but refused to refund the $5.94 difference in what I had to pay. I asked if it’s worth losing a customer over $5.94 and they didn’t care so I deleted my account, the app, and told others I knew about the experience just as I said I would. ParkWhiz did not do the right thing to make it right and even accused me of parking in the wrong garage saying that’s why the scam wouldn’t work despite me going to the area at least weekly for 20+ years!

Fraud. Do not use. I prepaid for parking 2 days before an event. On the day of the even and during the time of my parking reservation, I used directions from the app to go to the lot. I arrived at the lot and verified the address to confirm I was in the right lot. But there was no available spots. I immediately contacted ParkWhiz and requested a refund. They got back to me asking for details. I provided details including photos and receipts. No response from ParkWhiz and no refund. I reached out again. Still no response. I reached out yet again. Nothing. They have taken my money. Do not use. Use some other app. UPDATE: As you can see they responded to my review. What they don’t tell you is that I have already repeatedly emailed them with no response. And you call the number and they tell you to email. Unbelievable

Scam. Don’t waste your time and money. Used it Sunday afternoon to get parking prior to an event in Atlanta, paid premium event parking plus fees. When I got to the parking garage it was FULL at capacity and had to turn around and find somewhere else and pay on top of the “parking pass” I paid for in this app. I parked at a garage across the street and paid $14 for “all day” public parking vs $29 this app charged me that was useless, which only would have been valid for 5 hours max. There is no actual reservation of a parking spot. I have been attempting to contact customer service for 3 days now via phone, text and email like their phone automated system recommends and have not gotten ANY response. Currently waiting on the phone to see if I can ever get through to a representative. It’s been over 20 min so far.

Terrible customer service. We were in Chicago for a funeral and my son wanted to go to the fountain pen store. I reserved a spot at the closest garage and heading to Chicago. The garage was close drove around the block at least twice to verify, thinking things are different up here. Finally, I just parking in the first parking garage, I find around the corner. My reserved spot 13 dollars, the spot we park 38 dollars. Then, I contacted the company, they requested a receipt from the garage we used and pictures of the closed garage. First, taking pictures while driving in Chicago is dangerous and second there was no sign. Then they asked for a copy of my bank statement with the 38 dollar charge. Hmmm….NO. Then several days later, I got a reply that the garage had a disclaimer that the day question I needed to use the East entrance. Now, if there was disclaimer on the app, I missed, cuz I definitely would have used a different garage. I am not from Chicago, and I just wanted to make the trip into Chicago easy. I used the app to link to my gps app for direction and it spent us to the closed entrance with no sign to use a different entrance. I do not really care about the 13 dollars at this point it is the principal and the lack of customer service. I would have paid 100 dollars if need be to take my son to fountain pen store since that is the only thing he ask for and I wanted to give him a good memory on this trip.

Overpaid and still got a ticket. Paid 10 dollars more using the app then what the kiosk at the lot was charging. I parked exactly where I was supposed to from where I paid on the app. Went in to see show in Tampa, 2 hours later there is a 50 dollar ticket on my car from some private 717 parking company saying I owe them. So now I’m 80 dollars in the whole. Well....zero actually bc I’m calling iTunes and my credit card company to dispute the 30 dollar charge from this app and of course I’m never paying that 50 dollar private company scam either. Shame was trying to do right thing and get taken advantage of by this app. Stay far away from this app and any 717 parking run lot. Just pay at lot using kiosk. Would be easier and cheaper. Update: raised the review by one star due to the fact the app contacted me after review. They reached out to the third party company who issued the citation and had it voided. Also refunded 10 dollars of what I paid for the inconvenience. The app needs a better way to rate these lots. I see the lot has a very poor rating but I myself see no way of rating them. If they allowed costumers to post ratings and comments for specific lots then maybe people could avoid the lots the are scamming customers.

It was a DC Whiz. My first event in Washington DC to do Awesome Con, the traffic was worst than NYC even Chicago, the setup day I just unloaded and got to stay parked for a couple of hours, at the Loading dock, on my way out I looked for where the hell I was going to park the next 3 Days couldn’t find any parking garage signs , even asked the concierge at my hotel when I got back to it, they didn’t have a hard answer for me! Then doing a search for DC convention center parking I found Parking Whiz And in a few minutes I had the app with Parking passes and short cuts for Siri to pull them up when I needed them and to take me there when I drove! It’s a great tool in a busy nightmare city to get around in.

First and last time I use Parkwiz. Tried to buy a parking pass for a Whitesox game (Parkwiz was suggested as the only provider by the White Sox ticketing website for parking in the stadium lot), first on the website using Apple-pay and got an error. Then tried using a credit card with the same result. Downloaded the app and again tried to purchase a pass, getting the same error to recheck my credit card info after trying two different cards. Used both my phone and a laptop. No go. Emailed the “help” account and received the same boilerplate advice to check the info I entered. I emailed asking for further help as I did all of their suggestions. No additional response or help provided nor an explanation as to what is actually wrong or how to fix it. I guess I’ll go back to SpotHero where my credit cards work. Totally disappointed in Parkwiz. Edit: a few days later I received an email asking for more information. I appreciate the reach out, but I’m not sure what the fix would be in my case as the day I needed parking came and went. (BTW my solution was to go early and pay $10 to park in the game day lot, which was cheaper than Parkwiz as there was no service fee). I get they have associates whose job it is to “fix” problems, but the timely nature of my problem, and their business, requires they have a working system, and/or be nimble enough to find timely solutions that work for customers when customers need immediate solutions.

Inaccurate rates and info. App used to be reliable but have had bad experiences past few times and company not making right. Most recently reserved spot further from location because of price. But ended up paying $10 more with app than what lot was charging. Didn’t realize until end and had already left. App is not honoring because I didn’t have a picture but I had already left. All they need to do is call the lot to confirm the price they charge. This app is stealing extra $$ than what the lots charge. A couple other times I reserved parking lots to only get there and they were full. This is app is no longer reliable and they take your money when they can. Their info is not correct. And reserving is not guaranteed. good luck if the price you prepay is the right price.

Refused to refund me. I was going to a concert at MSG in NYC, and I decided to book a garage a couple blocks away for convenience. When I got there, the garage was full. The parking attendant told me the lot was full, and I needed to request a refund with Park Whiz. I then drove about 10 blocks away and found street parking. I emailed Park Whiz, and they asked me for a receipt from another parking garage. I found street parking, so I obviously didn’t have one. After that, they just ghosted me and stopped responding to my emails. As far as I’m concerned, this is tantamount to theft. I paid them for a service, they did not fulfill the service, and now they are refusing to refund me. Also, FYI, it’s been like 10 years since I last gave someone a bad review online. I’m typically a very easy grader. I will be asking my credit card company to deny the charges. I don’t care about them money, I just don’t want them to have it.

A scam service. I signed up for there service almost 2 weeks before I needed a monthly spot, purchased it and followed the instructions with the garage manager to ensure it was a self park garage and not a valet garage. When I arrived at the garage an attendant gave me a confused look when I showed him my receipt from parking whiz and was completely unaware of the service and gave me a post it note with a manager to call who also had no idea I paid for a space and told me if I wanted to use the garage I could purchase a space from them for double the cost. I don’t think parkingwhiz communicates with these garages your better off just contacting them directly. I wound up having to park on the street that day and getting a different garage outside of this app. When I reached out parkingwhiz for a refund they kept arguing with me to give them time to get in touch with the garage as I explained I already had to find a new garage. 2 weeks later they sent me an email saying they would issue a refund in an additional 5 days. Not helpful

Quick easy. Everything you need in an app. Makes use of all iOS features: Apple Pay, Wallet, etc. Will hold back on that 5th star until I use the parking facility this weekend (9/17). I've had trouble in the past with lots I've booked thru ParkWhiz being too tight to get out of the car; exit thru sunroof. But the app is grrrrreat! Way to raise your game, ParkWhiz. After parking (9/17, Charlotte): The lot was "overbooked". It seems there are some issues with communication between the lot administrators and ParkWhiz. I'm not sure who's at fault here so I will leave my 4 star review of the app intact. The app is awesome, the actual parking not as much. 5 stars for app and for ParkWhiz reaching out to me about the issue above. Keep up the great work!

Had to pay for my parking spot TWICE! Really bad customer service. Booked a 24h spot in the city and arrived 14 (!!!) minutes early. Next day at check out garage attendant told me I had to pay despite having already paid via the park whiz app because of me being early. It didn’t matter that I left the garage many hours before my time was up. Attendant said to reach out to park whiz which I did but they just send me the FAQ where it stated that you cannot be early. No one reads the FAQ’s if you don’t have a question and I was only 14 (!!!) minutes early not hours. If I knew that I obviously would've waited before entering the garage. Park Whiz didn't lift a finger to help. PLUS, the garage charged me $30 and through the app I paid over $41. Would give zero stars if I could… Really disappointed and I used the app for years now. That’s not how you treat a long time customer.

False advertisement. I parked here with a truck just under 7’ tall The parking info said the maximum height was 7’2” tall I thought I got lucky immediately at the end of one of the first rows and parked. Two days later I came out to a red sticker over my door handle on the paint of an 80,000 truck saying it was an electric only spot there was no signage for my spot stating this information. I went to leave and have to drive up until I could cut over to head back down to exit. Right there going up further it said clearance was 6’10” and I could not have went up any farther meanwhile somebody is behind me honking . I always use park whiz but won’t use it again because I could not have parked if I didn’t park where I was. I expect a full refund and am appalled that the parking information was not correct and then a sticker is placed on my paint. Not acceptable!

The ring around. They do not offer the best parking!! Make sure if you use this it’s your last last resort. I would instead try spot hero. After looking up my lot I realized if I paid there i can pay $6 instead of the $20 I paid on the app trying to save money. I texted the help number to get my refund and included proof of the special that is a regular thing the app should’ve known about. The person the started replying aggressively with caps saying you need to get there “BY 9AM” I tried to explain that by 9 means before 9 and they continued to try and argue. They then tried to give me a $15 parkwhiz credit which i don’t want. I then called the help line and it was still kind of frustrating. They want bank statements for a refund. I have had to prove my self for the second time through email and will hopefully get my refund. I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard to get a refund the first person didn’t even tell me the steps I needed to take for the refund. This app seems to try and trap people when a mistake happens. I have used spot hero before I don’t know why I didnt this time. And the one time I had a problem with the hours I requested vs the parking hours I really needed they understood and gave me my money back. It shouldn’t be such a rat race to get a refund, and the employees especially should not be rude ESPECIALLY if the customer was not rude to begin with.

Worst experience. I reserved a garage in Houston in advance. When I got there, I followed the instructions per the email and got my parking ticket. Upon leaving the garage, it made me pay again for parking. I did not see an attendant there for help. When I called Park Whiz customer service, the only advice I got was that I should have pressed for help-usually there is always a help button where you insert the parking tickets. I didn’t know this. I don’t park in garages that frequently and have never had this hassle. I’ve spoken to customer service twice via email and once over the phone and have gotten no help getting my money back. I definitely don’t recommend this app. Rather than help me, it’s been a headache that is still not resolved and I paid twice as much for parking as if I would have just gone to the garage and paid directly.

Poor customer service and overpriced.. Would never use again. Last week I used this app to purchase parking for my and my fathers vehicles. The total came out to $18 per vehicle. I get to the lot and there is no attendant there to meet me and the lot is marked for $10. I stuck around for a minute to try and figure out why the price was so different but nobody was there and I left to get a table at a busy restaurant. Then I get a call from my father saying that the lot attendant needed me to leave the restaurant and go back to the parking lot to show my app or he was going to have my car towed for not paying. The attendant had no record I was supposed to be there. I decide to file a rate dispute with the app for the extra $16 I was out, and I get only one response about how I paid extra for the piece of mind that there would be a space for my car. If the attendant had no record I was supposed to be there he was filling the lot with first come first serve and there was no guarantee my car would have a spot, and I wouldn’t call having to lose my table to keep my car from being towed piece of mind. I asked this of the customer service rep and they didn’t respond to my next two inquiries. Deleting this app.

WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PUT ZERO STARS!. Went to an event in Brooklyn. Found a lot close by with super reasonable rate and and booked a reservation and paid. Went to lot on the day of the event - arrived early and attendant said that was ok. I did notice that sign had daily parking rate for $2 less than I paid, but overlooked that. I said to the attendant that he must be getting ready for a busy day. He asked why and I explained the sold out event at the Barclays Center. He was unaware, but immediately put up a sign that nearly doubled what I paid for my reservation. After the event, I returned and the attendant (who had said that arriving early was fine for the rate) said I would have to pay as he couldn’t accept the reservation bc we arrived early. But, since I told him about the event (he remembered me) he would only charge $15 - not the price that they had raised it to. He told me to contact Park Whiz and they would refund my money. Ha! Park Whiz has contacted me back and is asking for receipt that I paid the second time. I am not sure if I can find it. I am also being sent many of their FAQ’s - including not being able to be refunded after reservation as well as reservations not being valid if arriving early, etc. Complete scam. Knew it was a scam when I was leaving the lot but there was no way to do anything because a valet lot and wouldn’t be able to get my car. Horrible. Beware when using this APP!

Parking Stresses Me Out. I’ve lived in many big cities and am comfortable in driving in them. It’s the parking that gets me. Are there spots? How much will it cost? Where am I going? Heading down to Comerica Park yesterday, I knew we would arrive as the business people were leaving for the day. Traffic, capacity, nearness - aargh! Comerica Park’s site redirected me to this app. Love it! Easy to see open parking garage spots near the venue. Pricing upfront. Easy to follow directions. Loved having the address, directions and structure image right in the app! There was no confusion which in a line of garages I needed. I will definitely use it again and again.

Confusing and horrible Customer Service. I’m generally an optimistic and easy going person. But I feel compelled to share my disastrous experience with ParkWhiz and the horrible service. I attended a concert to see one of my childhood friends perform at The Tabernacle (Atlanta). I purchased a parking pass and followed the instructions, leaving the pass visible on my dashboard. The thing is, there’s 4 parking lots all next to one another and the instructions available on the printout give little information (“look for a y’all maroon plaque with white AAA sign”.) Theres no lights anywhere and it’s pitch dark outside. Moreover, there were no white signs. There were plenty “AAA parking signs” but all different colors. Lastly, some of the signs were on the ground, perhaps knocked down or something. I had to make my best judgement after asking others around, all who were just as confused as I was. The instructions I followed were “parking is by the brown building”.... When I came back to my car, my vehicle was booted. $75 wasted ... As an Army Officer, one of the basic skill sets we have is map reading. Unfortunately, the vague parking directions, outdated information, poor picture quality, and confusing notes did nothing for me. I will NEVER use this app again and will encourage others to use the more reliable Park Mobile in the future!

My parking was closed and they didn’t return my money. I reserved a parking in NY City for thanksgiving day. When I arrived there the parking was closed. There wasn’t any notice in my reservation ticket saying that the parking was going to be closed. When I contacted the ‘’HELP’’ team asking for a refund they asked me for proof that I parked in another place. Also I had to send a LOT of emails in order to receive a response from them (really Bad costumer service) AND since I did not have the receipt from the other place they did not answer my emails anymore and they never gave me the money back! They did not even check with the place to just make sure that they were closed. There were other parking places open around on thanksgiving day!. So if you reserve with them make sure your parking will be open at that time because Parkwhiz won’t give your money back!!

An absolute scam of an app. I’m not exactly sure what this app is advertising in terms of reliability except besides providing nonexistent parking spots and stealing your money. I attempted to use this app for the Post Malone concert at the Prudential Center, at the lot that the app stated would redeem my ticket. I went to scan the “provided barcode”, and it said it was completely invalid. I also went up to the parking attendant and he had no idea what I was talking about, and that this app was illegitimate. I had to pay for parking again for about the same price as this app advertised. In hindsight I read the reviews (when I should have done so before) and people reported having the same issues. To prevent this from happening to anybody else, USE PARK MOBILE INSTEAD! I will attempt to get my money back but save yourself the trouble!!!

Jackie. I purchased a parking pass, when I arrived at the garage the attendant turned me away and wouldn’t let me enter. He was busy, overwhelmed, and rude. He never spoke to me just waved me away with out even coming to the car window to see I had a parking pass. I parked at a garage on the same block, and as I walked by I approached the attendant and showed him my pass. He said I have to call Park Whiz back. I called that night and the phone rang and rang and no one was there to answer. They also suggest on the app to text them. I texted them and never received a response. This was a Friday night. So I waited until Monday thinking ok maybe they don’t work weekends. I spoke to a representative, Rey, and she told me to send them a screenshot of my receipt from the garage I did park at as proof. Which I did. And it has been over a week no credit back no response, no communication at all. So the app says “best parking app ever!” It is not.

Do NOT trust this App! Many false pretenses!. Every time I have used this app it turns into a nightmare! I pay in advance, go to the garage, there is no way to validate the pre-paid ticket when there isn’t an attendant on site or an automated process to validate the ticket. So I have to pay the going rate at the time - i double paid in the end. After three days of trying to get my refund, I got it but not for the amount (20% more) i paid directly to the garage. So what is the value of this app if in the end one pays the going rate anyway? Geez nobody needs this kind of hassle when supposedly it is all by saving time and money! Also, telephone and text support teams with ParkWhiz ( Best Parking) are a waste of time and require redundant steps. They say they’ll call you back when you’re time is up in the queue but that was not at all the case, they just put me on hold for another 20 minutes, I had to go their this twice and still never got anyone on the phone. Perhaps email is best who knows, or just find a better more reliable app. Life should be more simple than this…

Very disappointed. It was a very unpleasant experience with this app and I would suggest everyone reconsider before go with them. I bought a parking pass for a garage in Downtown Manhattan, when I arrived there the valet guy told me the garage is totally full and I cannot park there. When I showed the parking pass to him, he looked like very disliked this company and told me they always oversold the pass and didn’t care if the garage has space or not. I have to drive away and I contacted the customer service right after it, looking for possible refund since I didn’t use the pass. The worst part then comes: in past one week, I only get one email response asking for more details and the other ticket receipt I paid. I told all details and told them I finally parked on street and paid nothing. Then there is no more response from them. Yes, no response, this is way its customer service operates.

The best app for city parking!. I use this app any time I know I’ll have to find parking somewhere in the city. It’s really quick and easy to use, and makes the entire parking experience so much better. I know for a fact every time I use it I’m saving a ridiculous amount of time and getting the best price for a parking garage. When you search, you get results for a TON of different garages in the area so you have options for both distance and price. It’s really simple to do it both on the spot, and way ahead in advance. The best feature of the app is that it will extend your parking ticket to the longest possible point before the next price tier. This gives you as much possible time as possible in the spot. On top of that I’ve found savings that can happen by using it (just recently booked a $22 spot for $9!). It also gives you all of the contact information, map, description, and a really, really useful image of the garage. I’ve never had an issue using the app across multiple garages throughout the city, over the past year. You owe it to yourself to get this app!

NYC. I read some of the reviews and had to write my own. I’m one of the few ppl who own a car in Manhattan and one of the even fewer that drives everyday. Yes, I live and work in Manhattan and I drive everyday. I use ParkWhiz at least once a week and I’ve never had a problem. The lots always accept my prepaid pass. I even had an instance where I prepaid for parking when I was attending a party at a friends house but when I got there I found a spot on the street. ParkWhiz could not refund my money as my start time had already passed but they credited my account for the same amount. I am a big fan and recommend ParkWhiz to everyone I know. Thanks for the full iOS integration (Apple Pay and Wallet) And thanks for the great customer service.

Still got an over priced ticket. They lie.. I purchased parking for an event in Indianapolis. I knew the event ran late (DCI finals Indianapolis) and noted the registration service said leave the spot by 10:30 or 2hours after event. It says OR TWO HOURS AFTER EVENT all over their site, app, and my reservation. This is a lie. I left the event early before awards and drove out of the lot at 10:48. I was leaving the lot in a line of traffic with other cars from the event. I received a ticket from the company saying I overstayed my reservations saying I owed 82$!!! I called park whiz who initially seemed to be helpful but then said +2 hours after the event is up to each vendor and they are not in charge of that. Then why do they lie and say up to 2 hours!? It is not true. I would not have used their service. They said I could appeal to the parking lot owners who are out of state and do not care. BEWARE. DO NOT TRUST THE TIME THEY LIST.

Not happy. Was going to a show at the metro in Chicago and saw there was parking across the street at the hot dog Wrigleyville Dogs. Cool! Used park whiz and went down to park and see the show. Get to the parking and see a couple attendants and show them my printed receipt. They point me to another gentleman and I show him my receipt for the parking. Looks at it and asked for the email. Weird but whatever I show him the email and he leads me and instructs me where to park and get as close as possible to the car next to me. Go to the show, have a great time and leave. A minute into my drive notice my passenger side mirror is closed. I Pull over and put it back. Just thought they closed it to get the the next car in and kept driving. Would of been a solid 4 outta 5 stars if the story ended there. A day or two later I walk out to my car to see the passenger mirror cover scratched and the side of my car scratched too. I don’t know if this was the driver of the other car doing this or the attendant not paying attention when parking them. Either way I’m very unhappy with the way my car was dealt with at the establishment. I don’t know if the attendants are employed by park whiz, but guessing from them not knowing about the parking pass I’m gonna say not, from the hot dog establishment or another party and who to reach out to. I have used parking apps twice in my life and have had terrible things happen both times and will not use this one or another one again.

Address didn’t exist. For a concert, I wanted to secure a parking spot nearby the venue in advance for the sake of convenience. My friend and I split the price, but when I put the address into the GPS it took me to the street of the venue but did not and could not identify the exact address given. We drove around in circles for nearly an hour trying to figure out where the parking spot could possibly be until giving up and taking our losses and just forking over the absurd amount of money for a parking spot in the actual venue. In hindsight, we could’ve done that originally, but I still feel scammed. No matter what GPS (we used both our phones and the Garmin in my car), the address never came up. I just want a refund if anything. Gas is a lot these days man and I’m a penny pinching university student!

Great, just one little thing. This is a great app and it’s beautifully designed. Hats off to all the me design work and thinking. One thing though; is it possible to add “Directions” to the ellipsis of a pass, or some other solution for not blinding your users when they try to pull up the directions to a pass. I get that the full brightness is necessary sometimes even though I find most, if not all of the garages I use just write down the reservation number on the ticket instead of scanning anything, but it’s quite jarring when you’re trying to pull up the directions in the dark and your screen goes from minimal brightness to maximum.

Bad app!!! They don't give your money back if you can't park! I paid for a service I didn't use.. I leave here my dissatisfaction with the application, the two times I used it, there was a problem. The first time I paid $10 more than what was charged in the app without having used an extra minute. And the second time I made a reservation and when I arrived I couldn't park because the parking lot was full and the attendant said that the spaces they had were for monthly hires. I paid for the service I didn't use. I sent several emails explaining what happened and nothing was resolved. The last emails have not answered me anymore. Outraged for having paid for a service that I didn't use, I will never use this app again and I don't recommend it to anyone!!! Terrible!!! Do not use this app!

Very good, just not perfect. I needed to park downtown Houston when both the Astros and the Rockets were playing and used the app for the first time. It found a great space, allowed me to prepay, and that part worked 100%. In walking to the game I passed 2 closer lots that did not show up on the map that had spaces- obviously not part of their system. And they were a bit cheaper. When I went to rate the garage I could not do it through the app. I have to do it through email and sign in again- a real pain. I will use this app again, constantly but I will be aware that for the convenience I might not get the best deal.

Barely fit. Parking warnings need to pop up on app for size of vehicle. Or an easy cancel button.

Awesome customer service. I so appreciated the text I received to see if I got parked ok! And then I texted later to ensure I still had time. Love this service.

Great app. I was visiting New York and I was not ready for the prices I saw. I was lucky to find this app and I saved 60 % on parking. At first I thought it was too good to be true and I was ready to never see my car again. But it’s real. Worth checking it out !

Great app. Great app and easy to use.

Not as advertised. I purchased a ticket through this app after seeing it on the Toronto ‘Scotia Arena’ website. I was going to the Toronto Raptors game and wanted to make the parking at Brookfield Place as smooth as possible. Much to my dismay the barcode reader did not accept my ticket. The parking attendant seemed to imply that this was not an isolated incident. The next morning I called Parking Whiz. They demanded that I produce a copy of my bank statement showing payment together with the make and model of my car. What a hassle! I will gladly never use this service.

Disappointed!. The idea behind this app is a great one—you pay in advance, and don’t have to worry about finding a parking space. Unfortunately the garage I booked did not consider the pre-made reservation to represent any commitment on their part, so when I arrived, there was no room for me. Also, the price I paid was $4 higher than the one posted. I will give the staff at Park Whiz credit for finding me another option nearby, although it was a valet lot and a bit sketchy. Also, since that option was less expensive I now have a credit, which apparently expires. How can my money expire? Ultimately, what should have been a smooth, easy experience was a tense, difficult one. Disappointed!

Simple, fast, no BS.. Title says it all.

Worst ever. Absolutely garbage. Do not recommend. They can’t figure out simple access times & it takes them weeks to respond to customer inquiries by email or phone. You’re better off to pay at the lot, & it’s usually cheaper.

Easy, practical, savings. Easy to find the best parking option at the best price. Have used the app on numerous occasions and always satisfied.

Password riles. Not sure if it's just me, but I can't remember my password. When I follow the reset password link it just keeps saying there's a problem with my new password please try again. Five or six different password attempts, same error. No guidance as to how many capital letters or numbers or special characters are required. Too many other apps to waste my time trying to figure this one out.

Serious problems. The address on the virtual parking ticket was incorrect--a different street--and when exiting, the machine could not read the code.

Excellent. It’s a good App to Use. I had been ticketed while I had paid through the App, the 24/7 service has handle the situation in a professional way and I was reimbursed as promised. Would love to use it in future.

Excellent customer service. Any time I have had small issues, they have responded VERY quickly and rectified the issue on the spot. I use them every time I need parking for the Wings, Lions, Tigers and concerts in the D!

good. accurate parking prices

User Friendly. So convenient and easy to pre book

Easy to use. Very impressed with the easiness of this app. First app I have actually ever took the time to write.

App is Good. Customer Service is not.. Had a parking and payment issue. Customer service agent did not read my request properly as evidenced in her reply. I did not appreciate the person capitalizing certain words in her reply as if I was an idiot who did not understand. Response was lackluster and they are ignoring me at this point. App is good though, but because of the bad customer service I am hesitant to use it in case I ever need help again. I am fairly certain they would never assist.

Great app. Great app. Makes parking super simple for games and concerts we go to.

More parking. Wish there were more parking options/places for North York, Toronto area. There is just a few for now.

Impressive. Fast, easy to use and when I phoned for tech help a real, clear speaking, friendly person answered the phone and got me fixed up instantly

Great for parking affordably in Chicago. Great for parking affordably in Chicago

DO NOT PRE-PAY FOR PARKING. I was at the Front st. parking garage in Toronto. The scan system was down. I was only made aware of this after paying for parking through the app. So I had to pay twice for parking. Absolute worst support on the App Store.

Easy, Concise, Excellent. Easy to use and invaluable when going to events and locating or remembering parking!

Easy and convenient. Love it! Fast, easy and reliable

takes multiple tries to complete purchase. the UI is so inconsistent it takes multiple tries to even complete a purchase sometimes. The literal slide to pay button will disappear until you relaunch the app

Awesome!!. This APP is defo a life saver! So simple and easy to use!!

Booking is bugged. The app does not work consistently. Requires multiple attempts. This morning I have to change lots due to app.

Great app.. Easy to use and reliable !

Good and convince. It help to save money hahahaah. Like and enjoy it

Parking. This is easy and fast

GOT TICKETED DESPITE PAYING. This app is a scam. I got a hefty ticket despite paying for parking through the app and they offered zero support. Their website only has a cheap chatbot and no actual support staff.

Great app. Great UI! Very easy to use!

The app never works accordingly. Every time I try and pay my parking it says the payment failed. Very annoying the I have to go down and get change for the parking meter.

Apple Pay and Sign in with Apple broken.. Signin with Apple is broken. And Apple Pay is also broken.

Convenient!!! Stress Free!!!. Perfect way to organize and plan a trip down to the parking spot! Great app

Quality is Superb. Excellent service !!! Great value and ease of use !!!

First time user and worked like a dream. First time user and the app worked like a dream

App issues & customer service. Great app until my payment failed and now every time I try to fix the failed payment with a different card the app is giving me an error. Tried reaching out to customer service with ZERO help, they keep telling me to contact my financial institution which is not the issue because there’s plenty of money in my account. Have said multiple times there’s a bug or glitch with the app and I keep getting the run around.

Zero Stars. Absolutely terrible app. Won’t accept password attempts AND won’t let me reset either (keep getting errors). Can’t even find the parking lot when trying to extend parking, then when i tried to pay while at the restaurant next door it said i had to physically be at the lot to scan QR code.. super useless, wasted so much time switching parking lots. Starting to suspect the 5 star reviews were all by bots because no way there’d be that many people who like this rubbish

Fantastic. Easy to use layout, painless cancel options

False advertising.... App description says you get 50% by using the app. But, when you go to book a spot, says it’s not valid in Canada. And, deleted.

Great. No problems with the app. Works well. Easy to pay for parking at some of the smaller parking sites.

Vacation blessing. When you are visiting a new place and are not familiar with it, here’s no better way to find parking. Love it.

Wouldn’t scan to exit parking lot. The app was great to find parking and get into the lot, however it wouldn’t scan to exit the lot. Luckily there was a help button on the parking scanner and we we eventually able to exit but it was stressful with a lineup of cars waiting behind us.

Park with ease. Love buying the parking spot before you even leave your house

Amazing app!!. I used to hate going in NY and Philly because finding parking was either too expensive or too stressful to find. Now I can book a spot either beforehand or when I get to where I want to be and look for parking nearby. We went to philly today and it cost $10 for 10 hours at the convention center parking!!! We saved $16!! AND we booked it a minute before we got there. The attendants at the parking garages seem to know what’s up too- if we ever have questions they know the answer and getting help is easy. It’s amazing how much stress is alleviated with this app :)

Super convenient. I love being able to view the different parking options available around the events. I appreciate the distance markers giving you an idea how long you’ll be “hoofing it”. The downside, and primary reason I deducted a star, is that the address isn’t always correct or the parking attendants aren’t familiar with the area. I have on occasion entered the address into google maps and it takes me to a lot managed by the same parking company but the attendant says it’s not the correct lot and doesn’t know where the correct lot is.

Double Charges. I would NOT recommend this app for parking. I used ParkWhiz to locate parking in the Boston Seaport area for a friends birthday night out. Found a walkable spot for $15 through the app, I booked the space, paid through the app, and went along my merry night. The end of the night comes and I try to leave the garage and the terminal is asking for an addition $15 to exit.. mhm. So I reach out to the help email and ask for an explanation. It takes them over 2 weeks to respond and they’re response is “you much be driving a large car so the garage charged you an oversized fee.” I responded letting them know I drive a small SUV (Hyundai Santa Fe). Another two weeks later (total of a month past here) and the help responded with “you were charged $15 for the trial plan.” Umm.. the what? No where I saw said anything about a trail plan. Needless to say, I won’t be using this app again. There are better, more trustworthy, options out there. I gave this review two stars instead of one because the garage and the security who worked there, were great. Very friendly. Found parking easily.

Just stopped working.. The app stopped processing my payments. I’d used Parkwhiz for years, years! Then, for no discernible reason the app stopped taking my cc, PayPal or any other payment of method. I contacted support many times – I even had them enter my credit information and, still nothing. I deleted, reinstalled, emptied cache, everything that was required of me. Still, the problem never went away and finally IT and support just sort of gave up on my problem. Eventually, I had to go to another popular parking app, and they were able to process my payment without a hitch.

Bring back the red icon. This is a great app to find and pay for parking. Best of all is everything is done through the app from finding the parking spot to paying. I use this app on a daily basis when parking downtown for work to avoid touching the kiosk (due to COVID-19). I like paying for my ticket before leaving the house, then opening the app to get my pass as I’m approaching the parking garage. Before the most recent update, the app icon was a unique red logo making it very easy to find on the home screen. Now it’s a dull gray icon, which makes the app not stand out when looking for it. Please bring back the red icon!

Worst parking app. Took a chance with this app and regret it. Bought a spot for $58 and when I got there all I found was a grass lawn with a curb. No driveway, no attendant, no signs, no cars. The photos didn’t match. Of course I didn’t take the chance of parking and getting towed. I contact customer service and they take a week to respond, while saying that I should have called them when I found out the spot was fictional. Um, no. I was in a hurry, which is why I bought the overpriced spot to begin with. And I can’t say I’m impressed with the app or customer device. Found a lot for $40 cash instead. When I asked for a refund, they said because I don’t have a receipt or proof of payment, all they can do is issue a $30 credit… on an app I will never use again! Gee thanks. This whole tone of the communication with them made it sound like my fault, even while they were sending photos that didn’t match the original instructions or the location. And the lack of trust is appalling. I really hate leaving this kind of review but want to make sure other people don’t have this experience. Use SpotHero or any number of good parking apps.

Name vehicles. Am I doing something wrong or is there really no way to list a description or nickname next to the list of license plates? I go to my vehicles and it it’s a list of random numbers. Sorry but I don’t remember which license number goes to which car. Especially when I’m adding friends and family members cars also. The list is getting big. This seems like a no brained feature. I created “nicknames” in the edit portion but the list still just shows numbers.

Waste of money and no support. Purchased a parking pass in Detroit and were turned away from the garage because it was full. No signs stated it was full. Attendant directed us to another lot that would “honor our pass” but when we got there, it was closed with no attendants to help further. Police had no idea how to direct the flood of traffic that was in the same boat. Ended up being 30 minutes plus late for our event and paid out of pocket for parking because we couldn’t find a place to utilize our pass I’ve requested a refund and hope that goes smoothly. Unfortunately though I won’t be using this app again. Passes don’t appear to be guaranteed or honored in all city lots.

This is the best thing EVER!. I never drive downtown anymore without using ParkWhiz! I’ve saved hundreds in parking fees and I like the piece of mind I get from knowing where I’ll park and being able to reserve a spot well in advance if shows and events. That means no “sorry we’re full” for me, no hunting around, no parking a mile away... it’s great. I can cancel for a full, instant, refund up until my arrival time but the BEST part is I have gotten discounts of 50% to 80% by booking my parking in advance through ParkWhiz!

Parked for an Event. In December, I parked in this spot for an event, and paid my daily fee. It was significantly more expensive than the other places, but I was running late getting my daughters where they needed to go. Today, I get an email for a debt collector saying we owe $80?? How is that even possible? I paid for the day and have receipts for it. I have had ZERO communication from anyone that says we owe anything. 1) I shouldn’t owe anything. I paid my daily fee. 2) Why is the first communication from a collector and not from Park Whiz themselves? I am extremely upset about this and not sure where to start on getting this rectified. NO where does it say it was $80 to park there. Extremely upset at the sudden inconvenience.

NYC day trip. Informative and easy to use app. Decided for first time to drive to NYC for the day from PA. Prior we traveled by charter bus $50/person ticket because we wouldn’t know where to park. App allowed us to chose and reserve a parking spot. Provided for each garage address, map, photos and price to aid decision. We chose arrival and departure time but it’s more a flexible approximation. Company is available by text or phone if needed. We were in control of our day. Paid $50 to park 12h a couple blocks from Empire State Building. Definitely would do this again.

App Is Very Misleading. I am a Dallas Stars Season Ticket Holder, and I always park in the Lexus Silver Parking Garage, which is located directly across from the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, Texas. It’s where all the Stars home games are played. For years I have paid a $25 fee to park in this garage located at 2301 Victory Ln. This app advertises advance parking rates for up to a 50% discount. Considering that I usually pay $25 for 24 hrs, and this app wants to charge the same $25 for just 7 hrs, I’m pretty sure that if you do the math, that’s more than 3x the standard rate and definitely not a discounted one. On top of that, you get the privilege of paying them an $8.50 service fee. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather keep paying the parking attendant to collect my $25. Not only does this app not give the discount that it implies by reserving your space in advance, I’m pretty sure that any company that contracts to use this app, just downsized their employees. No need to pay as many attendants, if this automated system can do the job for them. Shame on you American Airlines Center, for taking your greed to a new level.

Do not use!. Parking apps have one job and Park Whiz was unable to meet this hurdle as we were unable to exit the garage using their apps despite trying multiple means to do so. After speaking to their chat help (the phone # went to voicemail), we eventually simply bought a ticket with cash on hand since the help chat told us that was the only solution & that we would be refunded the difference. Unfortunately they then declined to refund us the difference and simply gave us a credit, which I did not want since I used this to go to a wedding in an area I do not frequent. If this company cannot live up to their word, I would use a competitor app with a better track record.

Waste of time. This app was a waste of time. Got it for an event at the AA center in Dallas TX. The useless app showed all lots full around the event, but we could us the app to receive a $5 credit on the lot across the freeway which was only $5. We “pre-purchased” the parking at the “value lot” which was the only one showing availability and walked to the show. The app did not use the $5 credit because I am sure this is a scam. As we walked past the “full” lots we spoke to the attendants letting cars in and the lots were not full and you do not need to use this scam app to park at the AAC. Despite what they want you to believe there is no need for this scam app. I have deleted my account but wanted to warn others about this SCAM. Be warned.

A note of appreciation. Attempting to book a garage space this morning, I was advised by the app that free street parking might be available in the vicinity — and it was. I’d never have expected ParkWhiz or any other app to save me money by offering me a free alternative to the product or service that the app was designed to sell me. This was a most pleasant surprise, like a reward for past bookings. I’ll repay the favor by continuing to use ParkWhiz for all my paid parking needs. Thank you!

App Coding errors. I use Park whiz app every day when I park for work in Streeterville. Yesterday I arrived downtown around 10:30 A.m. and the app defaulted to The next day. When I left, the garage was charging me $ 100. THIS MUST BE A KNOWN PROBLEM AND IT ONLY SERVES TO CAUSE CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION, THE COMPANY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE TIME, AND RESTITUTION COSTS. 1. THE DEFAULT SHOULD NOT EVER GO TO THE NEXT DAY (certainly not without proper notification). On the app you can't see clearly whether it is for today or tomorrow until you have paid and it is too easy to miss. 2. THE GATE SHOULD NOT OPEN IF THE PAID PARKING IS FOR ANOTHER DAY. YOU SHOULD GET AN ERROR. Kate, the customer service rep, was fabulous and did spend a lot of time to help but ultimately there wasn’t much they could do to get me out. They offered a partial credit but I was on the phone for 45 minutes I ended up calling the garage manager and thankfully he knew me and so let me out of the garage.

Garage poorly marked for drivers, hard to find. While Parkwhiz is fine as an app and service, I have had problems with the garages they send you being poorly marked. In New York City traffic this can be a real problem because you may have to circle many blocks around, your in heavy honking traffic. You can’t reverse back to an address. Cops make sure can’t stop because in many cases there’s only one lane moving and you’re in it. Too bad, because the service itself seems to be pretty good.

Wonderful Customer Service. I used ParkWhiz for the first time while vacationing in Chicago and needing a place to leave my car overnight. The app and website were both easy to use. However, the only minor issue was that the garage was not handicapped accessible. We went down the ramp, but it was narrow so we had to get out of the way for cars multiple times. I got email asking me to leave comments for the garage, so I mentioned that it should say it is not handicapped accessible so others are aware before booking. Not a huge deal, but something that should be probably be mentioned before you pay and get parked. They got back to me almost immediately apologizing for the inconvenience and offering me a $5 credit on my account. That was wonderful service and has definitely made me a happy customer. I will definitely keep this app around and use it again anytime I need to find city parking.

Chicago. Over the past year I have had to drive from Mid-Michigan to Chicago several times, and this app makes it stress-free trying to find parking downtown. Their refund policy is amazing, especially if you are not quite sure of the times you want; you can get a full refund and rebook, grantees your time hasn’t started yet. A lot of people are complaining about not being able to find the garages, garages not working with ParkWhiz, and other things that are out of the control of ParkWhiz. Their job is supply you with a parking pass for a parking lot, not monitor your car.

Overcomes the fear of not know if or where I can park and what it might cost.. I used to worry about where parking garages might have spaces left, how much it would cost and how long it might take to search before settling for the first thing I could find. This app lets me secure a spot long before I need it. I know exactly where to go and I am always welcomed, even if the garage is not accepting drop-ins. I have a choice of how much I pay versus how willing I am to walk in the area to which I am going. Parking is now the easy part and I feel more comfortable driving to more outings.

So nice. This app is great, if even just for the ability to find reasonable parking in the city. It's amazing to scope out parking ahead of time and see the $8 lots you would have missed tucked away a block beyond the $30 parking you would have ended up at without this app. But yeah, it's smooth to use, pretty intuitive, and it has plenty of options for parking (in the city at least). I love it, and I haven't found any app better (yet). One minor note: I think the old icon was more modern and professional. This one is a little cartoony.

Paid for service and got none. Reserved a spot for the Cowboys game because it said there would be an attendant and a shuttle since I have a bad knee and it would be difficult to walk the long distance to the stadium. Upon arrival, we went to the shuttle sign and some other people said they had been waiting 30-45 minutes and no shuttle. There was also no one to check us in. We waited another 20 minutes and still no shuttle, see we had to start walking. After the game we had no idea where to meet the “ none existent “ shuttle to ride back. Now Park Whiz wants to give me a $5 credit for future parking, which I will never use and they blame the lot owners. Look for another parking option, Park Whiz doesn’t deliver or take responsibility!

Beware!. Be advised that it specifically states on their Terms of Use that at the start time of your reservation, all bookings become non-refundable, even if you are unable to park or have yet to park. In my case I parked during comic con and turns out it was an “event” parking. I paid $80 and ended up actually parking for 2 hours due to an emergency. I didn’t want a full refund but a pro-rated amount was the least I expected. The representative I spoke with says “event parking” is covered under their Terms of Use but I did not see it. You’re better off just showing up to the garage and seeing if they have availability rather then using this company because it appears convenient. I don’t even want to get started on the actual garage...

Never park without!. I have used the ParkWhiz app many times now in NYC, Baltimore, Philly and other events. I love that you can see pictures of your lot beforehand and how the app keeps your reservation history, making it easier to book the same lots in the future. I've also used customer service and it was great to talk directly to a live person ready to help! I have always saved money reserving my spot ahead of time. Sometimes $10 per day! And, I've never had a single problem using the app at any lot. Love this!

beware!! You car vehicle could add additional charges to your cost!!. I searched for the various options and while some add an additional fee if you have a larger vehicle.. the app doesn’t always allow for the additional charge to be added for other parking options. (Seems like a glitch that needs to be corrected) So instead they offer a fee that seems reasonable for your specific vehicle and sadly when you get to the parking lot. You will be charged more there. This happened to me. I thought I would pay $25 for my Ford Explorer. It said it would charge more if I had a minivan only. But they still went ahead and charged me there and they lied and said I hadn’t paid to park yet. The worst part of all is I thought I really thought I hadn’t paid so I did. Then I realized I was actually charged $25 through the app plus an additional $15 at the parking lot for having an oversized vehicle. I was told that when I contacted ParkWhiz. ParkWhiz said basically the company can add additional charges if they deem it necessary. Overall, pretty disappointed due to misleading information.

Never using again.. I’ve used this app several times in the past with no issues. Last night I booked a space that the app said was 1 minute walking distance from my hotel. When after booking and paying $50 the lot was no where to be found. I drove around for over an hour to the point that I was crying from frustration in my car. I called the # asking for a refund because I couldn’t find the lot. The woman said no but I could get a credit when I said I wasn’t interested in a credit that the app said there was a lot when there wasn’t. She hung up. Horrible customer service. Charging before arrival is also horrible for instances like this. Will never use again.

Not good. Parked at 110 n carpenter st garage in chicago. Pre-paid thru park whiz the day before. Pulling into garage it took several attempts to scan, but gate eventually opened. When leaving gate would not open even tho when scanned the display turned green. Used help button at gate spoke with customer service? (Altho had to listen to hold music for few minutes) asked if i paid, i said yes prepay thru park whiz, he then asked how i got in, i told him i scanned in and it worked. Gave him my parking pass number (from park whiz) it still didnt open. Finally he said “I’ll just open the gate” guy ahead of me also couldnt get out, waited almost 10 min before my failed turn! Probably wont use again, there were 5 cars behind me hinking before i got out. 🤬

More options than Spot Hero. I have been using ParkWhiz for a couple years now. Today I thought I would try out Spot hero for some parking around Wrigley field for a game tomorrow. The parking they had available was very limited and for the most part more expensive. However the biggest difference with ParkWhiz was the I found on ParkWhiz allowed for much longer duration of parking which meant we could hang out around Wrigley after the game where the spot hero spots we had to be out of right after the game.

Jury is still out. I was in Detroit, a city I'm unfamiliar with, for a Paul McCartney concert. Someone told me about this app, so I tried it. It found a parking lot just a two minute walk from the venue, and although expensive ($40) I went for it. When we got there, the lot was charging $35, and there were plenty of spots available. We already prepaid the $40, so nothing we could do. So if you're willing to pay above going rate for a guaranteed spot, it's a good app. I'm not cheap ($250 for concert ticket, and 5 hour drive to Detroit) but I'm tired of paying extra fees for buying tickets, baggage fees on airlines, phony cell phone fees, etc, so I think I'll pass on using this app again.

We were ripped off! Scam application!. We arrived at the supposed Valet parking at downtown San Francisco only to find no Valet worker! We call the number on the sign and it connected to the shopping mall operator. The shopping mall director connected us to Nordstroms. Nordstrom told us they canceled their contract with the Valet operator because they were unreliable. Nordstrom told us to ask the security guard. The security guard said there was no Valet. We will see if Park Whiz refunds our money, but what a waste of time! I found cheaper parking and faster on my own. Do not use this app if you value your money, safety and time. Just search on google maps or Apple Maps instead. You will save yourself lots of frustration and time!

This App Seems to be a Scam. I reserved a parking space in the Sheraton Parking Garage in Philly on Friday for an event on Saturday. When I got there, the garage was already filled to max capacity and I was told to go elsewhere. I showed them my parking pass on this app and they had no idea what it was was. I emailed Parkwhiz support about having to go to a different garage after paying for this one. They initially responded right away saying they would reach out to management at the property to find out what happened and asked for a receipt as proof that I had to park elsewhere. I provided it right away, and followed up again, and it’s been silence on their end. So end result is I paid a total of $43 for 2 parking spots and this app is very shady.

Absolute disappointment. I had used spothero for a few years with ZERO issues before I tried using this app. I’ve used it twice now and both times had issues. The first time I went into the parking garage after purchasing my ticket through the app and I was shocked to find that there were no open parking spots. I had to wait for someone to leave otherwise I would’ve been out of luck. The second time I used it, the scanner wouldn’t take the barcode and I was forced to take a ticket. Every parking lot process is different with this app so I assumed it was fine. Nope. When I tried leaving the garage I was charged another $15. Meanwhile, all the garages I’ve tried with spothero the process is the same and it always works . No dealing with paper tickets. Never again - deleting this app now.

Scam App!. I used the ParkWhiz app to purchase a parking pass for the July 29 Marlins game at LoanDepot Park. The app is easy enough to use but after paying $45 the lot was FULL and CLOSED when I got to the park! I ended up missing the first couple of innings while I drove around looking for an alternative parking spot! I emailed customer service right away and got one response: “Hi Bruce, We're sorry for the trouble. We will work with the location's management to understand what happened. If you ended up parking elsewhere, please send us a copy of the receipt for what you paid. If you don't have a receipt and paid using a credit card, a screenshot of the posted charge from your credit card statement will work. We're glad you reached out to us to let us know, we look forward to your response so that we can help resolve this situation for you. -Mike” 3 subsequent emails have gone unanswered and still no refund! The Marlins organization and LoanDepot Park should immediately sever ties with ParkWhiz and needless to say no one should attempt to use this app!

Not Just a Great App, But a Great Service. Like almost everyone has said, the app is great. It works with ApplePay, Waze, Google Maps, what have you. But there is real time customer service. I accidentally booked something after the cancellation window had closed and the company gave me credit to use towards another reservation and the service was lightening fast. Also, there is something very satisfying about showing up to a garage to pick up your car, see the total on the register show $43, and you paid $19 on the app!! Happens to me all the time!

Inconvenient to customers. Spot hero is better. I purchased a parking space for a garage I’ve been to before. However, as I was leaving, the gate was open and I didn’t have to pay for parking, meaning I purchased the pass for no reason. I know I have up until the starting minute to cancel and get a refund but how was I supposed to know it would end up being free? I tried to get my money back but all they could do is give me a credit so I can use it again....I RARELY use the app, only when I am in Chicago and I don’t make it out often because I am busy college student. The customer service representative said “my hands are tied” since the best they could do is give me a credit and NOT A FULL REFUND OF MY MONEY BACK. Why not???? This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with them. Spot hero is better.

Greatest app ever.. We used this app on our recent trip to Washington DC. I took all the stress out of finding parking downtown. The directions to your space are excellent. They even have a few pictures so you know what it looks like. We had one issue where there was not an attendant on duty when we left. We had to pay again with a charge to get out. After getting home I emailed them a copy of my charge along with the ticket number and my fee was refunded in less than an hour,

Such a relief. I first heard about ParkWhiz as a partner link with the State Theatre. I was able to book a parking place right around the corner from the theatre for $9 when the other structures were asking $20. Plus, I didn’t have to worry about driving around in road construction, fighting for spots with everyone else coming to a show at the same time. So nice to have that all set in advance, especially when I have to drive more than two hours just to get downtown in the first place. I’ve used other parking apps but this has been the easiest to use with the best results so far.

Misleading marketing and higher prices than garage.. I tried the website for the first time while parking in Boston. I found a garage for 29 dollars and then saw a message on the top of their site that said booking through their app would get 5 dollars off. Exited the site, did the whole process again on the app…still 29 dollars for the same garage. Decided to go through with it anyways. Got the garage, which was half full and advertised at a lower $25 a day rate. Sent an email to customer service and got some canned response within minutes that said they don’t own or operate parking locations. Didn’t even respond to the part about downloading their app for a nonexistent discount. Will take my chances on finding parking on my own next time.

Parking Availability Not Accurate. I reserved and paid for a spot in advance. At first, we were excited because using the app to look for a space was easy. However, when we arrived to the parking lot it was overfilled and I was not able to park in the lot. There were other people who had also reserved through Park Whiz and were unable to park, like us. The only reason why I gave a couple of stars is because the customer service was quick in cancelling our order. On another note, they said it can take 1-5 days to get fully refunded. Just be aware that your reservation is not guaranteed and that you may be forced to find other parking.

Great Customer Service. The app was super easy to use and even got a discount for our first use. It had us pick our show time for the event we were going too and made suggestions. Unfortunately, the parking place it recommended was closed and the hours showed M-F only. We took pictures of the closed venue and emailed our complaint. Within the hour, we received an email stating we had been refunded our purchase and a very nice email from April letting us now about the refund and they we already contacting the venue to help ensure this mishap doesn’t happen again.

Great customer service. We use multiple parking apps to find the best spot to where we’re going. We’ve used this one twice, the first time the garage was super easy to find, easy to use, and really nice. The second one, the parking spot itself was great but the attendant was extremely rude. I reviewed our experience with ParkWhiz and they personally reached out to me, forwarded my review to the manager of the lot, and credited me some money. This was immediate. This makes me feel more confident using the app because I know if something goes awry that odds are, they’re gonna do something to make it right.

Easy. First off prices were way better than just walking into a parking garage. Secondly it was super easy to sign up and pick a location and book. I booked a parking spot but my meeting at work was cancelled, and I cancelled my appointment. I was notified of a refund automatically which is what led me to do this review. I was completely expecting the whole run around and calling 5 different numbers just to get my 20 bucks back but it was super easy and convenient. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Can’t describe how much I LOVE this app. Spring break in Chicago has become a tradition, but I hate driving aimlessly through unfamiliar cities to find parking I can afford, and you don’t always know how much it’s going to cost until you’ve headed in to the ramp. With this app I found the closest ramp and PREPAID .... I had literally NOTHING to worry about as far as parking was concerned! AND they actually texted to make sure I found the ramp and got in without problem. I am THRILLED with this app! I will use it on all road trips from now on. This will never be deleted from my phone!

Account auto created?!. I purchased parking and an account was automatically created for me. First, how did it get my email address and second, how dare they?! I contacted support and their response was “ Whenever a parking pass was purchased, an account will be created.” That’s NOT how this works. If an account is required for purchase, then ask the buyer to create one before purchasing or make them do it while checking out. I’m very concerned about the security of this app, scraping my email address. It created an account with an address I don’t even use for stuff like this. Not happy. And parking better not be cheaper on site than what I paid in the app.

Rate discrepancy. Used ParkWhiz to secure at parking garage spot as I was pulling into the downtown area for an event. Two minutes later, pull up the garage only to see that it’s charging $10 less than what I had JUST paid to ParkWhiz ($13 less actually, when you factor in their “convenience fee”) contacted customer service for a rate discrepancy refund and was told that can’t issue one because that particular garage uses a supply and demand model which can sometimes vary by “a few dollars” but that by using ParkWhiz I was paying for “peace of mind” I responded back that it’s not like I booked days in advance for peace of mind.. I literally booked like two minutes before getting to the parking garage. Never got a return response. A real bummer

First time. Today was my first time using this service. When I got to the parking lot I had reserved. There was no attendant and parking spots left. That is on the parking place not on ParkWhiz. I texted them letting them know that I had paid to park somewhere else because of the above mention, they texted back within minutes and told me a refund was already placed and I should I have my money back in a couple of days. I was extremely happy with how little time they took to solve my problem.

Breached?. Received an email from what seemed to be from ParkWiz that my credit card did not go through and I had to enter it again through some website. It even had my name in the email. It looked a bit strange, so I did not enter my card info and contacted ParkWiz. When contacting ParkWiz they told me not to go to the website and that the email was not from them. When at the parking garage, access was denied anyway. Really am starting to think their system might be breached/hacked. Emailed ParkWiz to get a refund because the pass did not work, but never received a reply. Phone number for ParkWiz listed on credit card statement did not work either. Such a bummer, the app has been working so well till now. Had to call credit card company to get the charge refunded.

No call back. I paid for a parking pass days before an event. When I arrived at the parking lot, the attendant told me that they were full! I explained that I had a pass and he told me “Sorry, we’re full. You can go to our other lot and get a refund there. My boss is there.” Sent me to a lot over a mile away. When I arrived there and complained about the fact that they took my money and then sold my spot to someone else, the guy acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and refused to give me a refund. Told me to park there and take a cab to the concert!!!!! I called the number listed to contact ParkWhiz. It was a recording. I explained the situation and left my name, number and confirmation number and never received a call back. Very disheartening.
