Sonic Automotive Inc Training by CJ Best. CJ Best lives up to his name! My name is Graham Becker currently working at the Sonic Automotive Dealership at MBZ of Calabasas. CJ conducted a Sonic Automotive training session at Beverly Hills BMW on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, which I attended. The theme was ‘Overcoming Objections’. CJ was thorough, organized, patient with questions, and a pleasure to learn from. CJ Best was truly The BEST! Thank you CJ for a great training session and I look forward to future training opportunities with you and other Sonic Automotive professionals. Everyone under the Sonic Automotive umbrella has given me the support and enthusiastic encouragement any new salesperson could wish for. They truly want me to be the best I can be. I can’t thank everyone enough for the opportunity they’ve given me at my age (65!) and having had NO experience selling cars. Sonic Automotive Inc. has been a breath of fresh air in a corporate world filled with mediocrity and dismissiveness. They have shown me in a very short time what it means to be “The Best or Nothing”! Thank you CJ and thank you Sonic Automotive! Sincerely, Graham “Gray” Becker New Sales Associate and Experience Guide at MBZ of Calabasas

Sends me “perfect matches” that are irrelevant. This app has been extremely helpful for knowing what my worth is at any given company. In the past it’s helped me realize I’m being paid less than I should be at current jobs, and it’s helped me negotiate fair pay when starting a new job. However, I’m currently searching for a new position and every single day I get a notification and email for a “perfect match” that has a much lower estimated salary range than what Glassdoor knows I currently make (because I’ve given them that information). In addition, I’m looking for a promotion with more money, not a position I held in my early 20s. Usually their “perfect match” is up to 75k lower than what I’m looking for. There is no way to set a salary range or key words for what you’re looking for in a “perfect match”. When I need serious leads this is extremely insulting, frustrating, and a waste of time. Please allow users to set some parameters around these notifications in order to actually help them in their job searches.

Swindle. I spent over an hour spilling info to Glassdoor with promises of salary information in return. Gave them my FB info then was slyly cornered into many extraneous and long winded (30word minimum??) questionnaires. Totally irritating. Then after everything sucked out of me, the information I’m seeking is still locked. Glassdoor is much more helpful before you help them. Example: salaries of interesting careers are visible until you want specifics, at which point the once-public figures are XXd out and they make you do all these mental gymnastics where you think your almost there but it’s really just a trick to take hoards of your time and you realize there’s no end. Just tricks. How much does a new airline pilot make through FedEx? I guess I’ll have to find out another way since my subservience to Glassdoor has taken away this info from me once I so kindly gave to them. Typing this has taken away some of irritation; thanks AppleReviews!

Smoke and mirrors. This company spends so much time trying to convince people on social media that this is a great place to work, including glorifying leaders who truly can’t lead, but hey, their photos look good. You should wonder why they have to do this. It’s because working at CAF is a popularity contest. Other reviews about this being like a Mean Girls movie are true. The clique that is CAF will absolutely promote you if you’re attractive, thin and pretty over whether you can actually do the job. They may promote those who don’t wear makeup or who aren’t skinny because they are growing so fast, they need bodies even if your body isn’t pretty to them. Their Regional Property Managers have no idea what they’re doing because they are promoted too soon and with no training and that puts more pressure on the on-site teams than necessary. But the reality really hits home when you leave to work somewhere else. They don’t care why your leaving and they make your last weeks very uncomfortable. You’ll find other management companies are much more professional and care more about hiring good people over good looking people. This is a very toxic place to work.

It was great! For about 10 minutes.. The interface is very easily navigable, visuals were pleasant, and it was easy to find a job I had been looking for(but only on the app. The website required me to fill out a previous occupation form). But then, after I go to find more jobs to apply for, they delete my account. INSTANTLY. It says to create a new one, in which I follow up to do, and it wont let me. I have no idea why this happened, but I would not recommend this to anyone, browser or website. They nailed everything except for when they forcibly deleted my account with no warning nor way to fix it. PS- I think it’s a horrible idea to be required to list a previous job on the site before it lets you do anything, including even looking at jobs. I haven’t had a job yet but am actively looking for one, so to be rendered unable to even try and look for my first job is quite frustrating.

Ugh. Everything is harder to access, navigate, and find. My saved jobs and saved salaries have been wiped out. Saved salaries doesn’t appear to be a thing anymore. Salaries are my biggest gripe. If I keyword search for ‘configuration’ within a company the app used to display any all job titles that had ‘configuration’ in it in the results list so I could see everything at once. Now however it only displays one job title at a time that’s selected from a drop down list. So if there’s an entry for ‘Senior Configuration Analyst’ and another entry for ‘Sr. Configuration Analyst’ your search results won’t display both together at the same time which is just plain dumb. I want to see all job salaries for all jobs that contain the word ‘configuration’ in them at the same time rather than having to searching and scrolling for them one at a time. It seems like the developers are intentionally trying to keep us in the app for longer periods of time by making the app much more complicated and cumbersome than convenience and common sense ease of use would otherwise imply.

Irrelevant job openings. Despite my keywords, Glassdoor sends me irrelevant job openings — e.g., public affairs specialist for the Texas **and** Massachusetts Army National Guard. At the top of the job description is a requirement for age between 17 and 35 and enlistment in the Guard. As required, I registered for the draft at age 18 and was classified II-S (student deferment) as a university student, then 1-H (holding) as the draft reached 19-year-olds with draft numbers well below my number of 184. The Vietnam war was drawing down in 1973, and U.S. involvement ended unceremoniously in April 1975, with people desperately clinging to helicopters. Glassdoor shows its incompetence, apparently by asking student interns to post job openings without matching applicants’ qualifications with requirements of the job openings. Glassdoor responded to my message complaint with nonsense excuses. As a writer and editor for print and online publications and broadcast radio stations, I would have been reprimanded or fired for such weak excuses. Glassdoor, shape up and “get with the program”!

Suspected scams in job ads. Glass Door is an incredible concept and service. However, there are several job ads in Houston from “Luna Partners.” This is a scam company that is highly likely to be engaging in fraud and illegal activity. My friend was duped into an interview with them where they asked for her banking information and social security number before she was even offered the job. You can also read other people’s similar experiences with the shady company by doing basic research online (and even on the glass door app itself). The people running it seem to constantly change their business’ name so they can continue to get away with what I assume is illegal activity. Glass Door needs to do a better job of vetting companies before allowing them to post job ads. Or if GD doesn’t have the resources to hire employees to monitor job postings, then there should at least be a way for users to report these kinds of job ads for suspected fraud or scam for further review.

Great Tool for Company Comparison. Glassdoor is my go-to tool when researching companies, locating opportunities, or seeking employee perspectives. I like the company overview area because it’s important to quickly identify the size, industry, and score (from employee ratings). It’s a convenient resource that not only helps me to save opportunities but also permits me to open the description AFTER the job expired. // Suggestion for Glassdoor: Consider offering multiple save options for those of us searching for other people. As is, I just have one long list that I have to search through to figure out why I saved it. I would like to add my own “save categories,” such as “maybe,” “need to tweet,” ”need to email to...,” “read details,” “need to apply,” and “keep description.”

Nurse Practitioner. Good search engine. Generalized vs specific information most often provided, for example: provides generic vs specific job descriptions, regional/nationwide salary ranges vs accurate salary ranges specific to location of interest, salary range provided often too wide to be helpful (no criteria provided for low-med-high across the range), posts available positions in a wide radius (location) from preferred location vs in preferred location, thus positions listed in search may be long but in actuality 99% are ruled out due to location (provide more filters), Inadequate “reviews” from past/present employees, i.e. inappropriate job category reviewed (receptionist vs provider vs administrator vs housekeeping), reviews from nationwide employees posted vs local employees from facility of interest, only high rating/reviews posted. ALL reviews from my job category should be provided. Improvement in these areas would yield a 5 star review for Glassdoor. Shortcomings may be due to information provided to Glassdoor vs information requested by Glassdoor. Glassdoor, work harder to provide the specific information required by job seeker. Making these changes will increase the chances of providing the best fit for employers & employees. Both your customers will be happier with the service you provide. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Nonetheless, keep up the good work. You need to sharpen your pencil to land on top in this competitive business.

Fix timeout issue for mobile applications!. Nearly every time I used mobile apply, the app times out and I have to reapply and re-enter all info. You should make the app more user-friendly so applicants are able to step away from the app for a few minutes to copy/paste/compose answers to employer questions. It’s terribly frustrating. I now copy all answers to my notes in case the app decides to crash/restart (unfortunately sometimes even being off of the app for <20 seconds causes a restart and dumps all of your previous answers before you have the chance to apply). Otherwise, I would give the app 5 stars for quantity of opportunities available (both local and remote). Please address these UX issues! Job hunting during a pandemic is stressful enough without having to worry about Glassdoor crashing and deleting your essay and fill-in answers on job apps.

I have to login to the app every time. I’ve been using it for weeks and it’s decent. However, in the last few days, I’ve been experiencing a strange login bug. Every time I access the app, it acts like I’m a brand new user where I’m not even logged in. For example, if I click the app, then click the bottom heart saved button, it says that I’m not logged in so I can’t see my saved jobs. By association my resume isn’t there. So what I have to do is login every time I access the app, which has been tedious. Instead of opening the app and get straight to searching, I have to make sure to login first. I deleted and reinstalled the app recently but the login bug still exists. I don’t know if others are having the same issue, but if you can fix it soon we’d appreciate it, thanks.

It’s a job app, folks.. Most of the negative reviews here seem to say one thing to me: reviewers do not want or cannot put a whole lot of effort into their job searches. For what it is, this app does more than, say, Indeed or zip recruiter. Complaining about having to go to an external potential employer’s website to fill out an application?... Really? Ok, kids, at least you aren’t on a landline with the want ads or pounding the pavement looking for work. That’s how I learned... at the risk of sounding like an old fart. No other app gives me accurate salary information like Glassdoor does. The full web app is even better than LinkedIn (don’t get me started on THEM...;) ). Five stars.

New UI is difficult. Have used Glassdoor for years off and on. Can’t recall the last time I used it or checked in but I did today and woah. The user interface is horrible. I closed out and thought I had the wrong app. Confirmed it was the correct app and opened it again. Hard to navigate, see jobs and salaries. All the things that made it easy to use and full of good information just went out the window. Can’t say if this update was the most recent or if I’m late to the party but I’m now looking for a replacement. I’ve deleted the app as it’s just not worth the headache. They had something decent and decided to do away with it. My guess is businesses approved of this (after all that’s where Glassdoor gets its money from) because it is so much more difficult to navigate and see the good data you want. Onto the next

Too much. I have only used the app for a few days so I might be missing some things. I like getting email alerts when jobs open up near me. However, I get twenty emails a day and most of them are for jobs that I am not suited for nor qualified for. It would be better if there was a filter to weed out certain types of jobs. Keywords of what NOT to send me. Plus, I would like to be able to search for multiple cities at the same time. I do not want to have to go in to create a search for the same type of position but one to every city. For instance, I am searching for keyword “supervisor” but I want to search in Charleston, WV, Huntington, WV, Columbus, OH, and everything in between... without creating a separate search for each. Also, would be a nice time savor to search for all jobs in a list of cities that pay above a certain rate WITHOUT having to enter a keyword. Right now it is more hassle than what I wish for but if these things could be made easier I would rate this app higher

Not impressed by the app. I have to say it’s rare to get a decent job match. The app doesn’t provide a place to mark if you have already applied to the job from the company’s website versus through Glassdoor. Glassdoor will send you constant email reminders “ have you applied to these jobs?” They are still available. Well in most cases I have applied. Seems low tech to not have that feature. I gave 2 stars only because it gives estimates on wages. The search goes way beyond the area you specify that you want to commute. Why have a radius to select from if your just going to go beyond it? Most of the time it’s not a good job match. Should be based on what’s in your resume. Any way. I think you have better luck just researching company’s within your area and going to their direct website and apply. Saves redundant emails and frustration.

Are they really neutral?. I used to think Glassdoor was neutral and a solid place to go for honest employee evaluations of companies but I’m not sure anymore. I’ve noticed floods of positive reviews and removal of negative but honest reviews for a particular company I’ve been monitoring for some time as my own company is considering doing significant business with them. It is a company I know well at this point. As a result of modified reviews, this company’s rating has gone from roughly 2 stars to 4.1 stars and CEO approval that may have been 30% has increased to 80+ in about 6-8 weeks. This is a company I know very well. I can’t help but wonder who is pulling strings. It may be nothing, but given recent concerning conversations I’ve had with their leadership, this has raised at least some additions concerns about going forward with a business relationship. Something similar happened years ago when the poorly rated profile of a different company I was keeping an eye on completely vanished and shortly thereafter appeared to be replaced with one including overwhelmingly positive reviews. I didn’t think too much of it at the time. Perhaps I should have.

Frustrating To Use. Even after changing email preferences, I still receive daily email notifications. And many job notifications aren’t related to my search. I’ve received Uber Driver as a possible match when one search was call center related because Uber used the keywords “call center” in it’s description as a call center alternative. That’s absurd. Most people I know in Brooklyn, NY either don’t a car, can’t drive, or hate driving! And I hate feeling pressured to “anonymously” give reviews or ratings of current or previous employers. Having worked for a small firm, anyone searching Glassdoor for my former employer can easily figure out who wrote it by their wording style, title, and details. It’s not as anonymous as you think. And nothing posted online ever disappears even if deleted. Ummm hello, screen snapshots?! Also, I only created a login because I need one tap applications. Most job postings take you to the potential employer’s website to fill out a time consuming application. I’ve found Zip Recruiter to be much more user friendly, with, with employers actually replying back to me.

Love this app but for someone reason I now have to login multiple times!. I really like this app. I use it all the time. Since the most recent update however, after I login and look at a review for company I am then immediately prompted to login again. I login I read another review (there’s no delay here, it’s not timing out)... I have to login again. Prior to this most recent update I logged in and my app stayed logged in until I logged out or until there was an app update. I’m about to delete the app, because I cannot stand do you have to enter my email address and password after every company/review that I want to read. Yes, I’m avoiding saying anything good about the app because I am overwhelmed by this horrible user experience right now and I can’t get past it. Pleas fix this soon!!

Not easy to navigate like it used to be. I’ve been using Glassdoor for at least 10 years if not longer. From when I started using it, until now, the way information is organized has gotten more and more confusing and way more difficult to navigate. When looking for salary ranges you used to be able to go to the page for a company and then search for the job title and area. Now you have to browse 100s of things to try to find what you’re looking for. I looked through 10 pages and wasn’t able to find the job title I was looking for or anything like it. Back in the day, when looking for jobs you used to be able to narrow it down by area. Now you have to go to the company you’re interested in and browse through all of their jobs all over the country. No one has time to look through 1000s of job postings to see what’s available in their area. I hope Glassdoor updates these things and makes the app easier and less time consuming to navigate like it used to be…

Associate Director. This company is toxic. Like many others, I started with high hopes and full of admiration for this beacon of success in the area. We all, however, realized pretty quickly how bad things were. There is the issue of immature processes, shaky operations, and complete lack of planning - internal joke is that they make money despite themselves- but it is the issue of toxic leadership and culture that is the deal breaker. There is a complete lack of integrity in this company. VPs talk bad about their peers and everybody else, language that would be cause for dismissal everywhere else. Cronyism is rampant; if you are not part of the white boy’s club playing golf with the executives you will get nowhere. There are practically no female Senior Directors. Promotions are based on favoritism. They proudly claim that Illumina has a “passive aggressive” culture. Incompetence is rewarded routinely. Misogyny prevails. Good people leave rapidly. And the dysfunction is across all functions. The CEO really needs to wake up. Look around you, actually get up and walk the hallways. Show your face and talk to people. Hold people accountable and show leadership. My best advice to you - look elsewhere.

Extremely frustrating limitations. Good for researching employers (but there’s no real attempt to normalise feedback for comparison, relies on reviewers for comparative ratings, which is a very dodgy proposition), but the app is quite poor for job search on several counts: 1) resumé import feature requires use of a very poor stock format 2) search feature very poor keyword search that feels like mid-90s web search, doesn’t understand semantics well (for example, it can’t tell cybersecurity jobs from physical security jobs, it doesn’t understand words that define job categories and seniority, like “principal” vs “associate” or “junior” or “analyst” vs “architect”) 3) compounding previous problems, it tends to reverse feedback, (e.g. hiding jobs that don’t match doesn’t persist at all; in fact, looking at a job to say that it’s not a match has opposite effect, as Glassdoor remembers that you viewed, forgets that you marked it as a mismatch) 4) some search criteria like company star ratings aren’t applied correctly 5) you can get results for older searches that don’t appear to exist any more, not clear how to remove them All in all this app is a timesuck if you are using it to stay on top of a job search and a spam factory if you set up notifications. All of the problems the app has have well-known solution options, so this app feels phoned in at the end of the day.

Neutral. I like that the Glass Door app gives employees and interviewees a place to give their honest opinions and that it gives the public a way to see businesses before they decide to get further involved, which is why I’m sure it was named Glass Door. Haha. What I don’t like is the part where you go to check out the reviews. The way it’s currently designed, one doesn’t readily know that in order to see the reviews on a company that they have to click on the stars or the review section AGAIN after they’ve already clicked on “REVIEWS”. I’m sure some people are getting flustered with that as I did. Since I really wanted to “see the reviews”, I played around with it a min or 2 until I realized that was the way you actually get access to all of them. That feature is annoying because it is asinine to have to click “Reviews” when it doesn’t immediately take you to the drop list of “all the reviews”. You see a couple but that’s it. Not all. So some may have to go about fumbling around as they’re not getting ALL of the content. That’s my experience. Please fix this.

Got my Dream Job using Glassdoor. I just accepted an offer for a teaching position in China. I used Glassdoor for about 2 months applying to jobs and interviewing before I got this offer. Using Glassdoor I applied for about 15 jobs, had 6 interviews and was offered my Dream job on my sixth interview. I will add that I am traveling with my family (husband and 2 children) and was able to find the right position for us including working schedule, pay, and benefits. I had previously been offered 2 positions but they did not include benefits for my family and so I turned those down. I think with Glassdoor you can really find the “right” position for you if your willing to keep searching and applying until you find the right position for you! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Poor app, good website. Like the title says, this app is simply a dumbed down version of the website. Simple things like being able to navigate to an employer when looking at a job are impossible. There are no links in job postings so you have to back out, enter a new search for the company, find the company, find the job, and hope that the salary isn’t a wild miscalculation with an enormous range. The app also sometimes fails to save jobs, meaning that when I go to the desktop browser I have to find them all over again. The app is also obsessed with getting you to interact with Bowls, which are just glorified message boards that honestly seem useless to me but are probably meant to drive “engagement.” Just stick to the desktop site if you want a usable product.

Great app. I like the app. I wish there was a way to remove selected jobs from job search result that don’t apply to me. For example some jobs have a language fluency or nationality requirement that I can’t meet. But they continue to appear as highly rated jobs for me. I’d like to flag those jobs as not relevant for my situation. Other than that, I like the features and ease of use. I got feedback to swipe right. I did. There is no hide option. I don’t see hide anywhere on any screen. Even on the desktop app. Guess I’m missing something? Oops take that back. Swipe right shows hide. Silly me. We all have our preferences. But if it were up to me I would have put all options on either swipe right or all swipe left. Go figure.

Consistently bad. The content this app/company has is great. But this is consistently one of the worst iPhone apps I’ve ever used. UI is terrible, after a change years ago when you have a filter option such as with filtering job titles your phone assumes this is a password input field so suggestions are off. The bigger piece is the app itself crashes often, fails to load data frequently, and is probably unusable for what you came there for 50% of the time. The latest “update” has now made it exponentially worse: looking at salary details on a role and clicking back now takes you back to the company search for some reason, took four tries to get all fields to load with a company search, and all of this is after forcing you to go through some intro boxes with your info despite the fact I’ve given this to them (no, couldn’t sign in) and the fact nothing in my actual industry/area was an option to select. Congrats on making an already buggy and frustrating app virtually unusable, Glassdoor. You’ve got a great opportunity to win market share here from Indeed and others and this is not how you do that.

Glassdoor. Glassdoor have the best opportunity to help everyone look for jobs and careers in any field of their interest. The great thing is you make your profile, choose what kind of benefit you want, the list just go on and on. You control your pathway and destination. Glassdoor only send jobs offers on base on your interest. No matter what your experience, background or education they always found great offers for everyone. Glassdoor help you look for offers outside of the United State. Most people are scared to look for employment in other countries overseas because they don’t have the tools to do their research and don’t know anyone overseas. But don’t worry Glassdoor has everyone cover. You tell Glassdoor what job offer and what country you want to work for and Glassdoor will send you with the right offer. They help you with interview questions and preparation for you to get the job. They have job offers for people who want to work remotely from home of any in the world. Thanks Glassdoor for everyone throughout our life journey.

Great Company, Less than Perfect App. Glassdoor is a life-saver for job seekers, there’s no doubt. The Glassdoor app - I have beef with. I am constantly fighting this thing to keep me logged in. Not only that, I’ve noticed it’s constantly pushing the job search engine as the default. I AM currently a job seeker, so usually it’s fine, but sometimes when I do have an interview lined up, or I’m just researching, I get a little annoyed at constantly renavigating to get to the company reviews. The worst is when I search a company, get asked to sign in, then get directed to the job search engine, and then when I renavigate, get asked to log in AGAIN, and then get redirected to the “Jobs” section of that company! I get it, Glassdoor; trust me, I want to find myself as much as you do, but there’s a time and place for everything!! Someone on the Glassdoor App Team address this, because it’s bringing down an otherwise A-MAZING company concept!!

Needs refreshment soon. I’ve found it more accessible to use the website via safari & google servers when researching degree of fields. I’ve attempted the same exact searches on the app, only information it provides is a loading screen. For instance, the last time I began to attempt to look into possible fields, I get timed out and the app crashes each time. I’m running the latest iOS software on my 11 pro, so I know I’m up to par on my end. I started researching mobile application developer salaries, Glassdoor needs new mobile applicators itself to fix the time out “buggy”issues the app is currently undergoing.

Contractors treated like third class citizen. As a contractor under Ferchichi I endured discrimination and treatment as a third class citizen because I was not part of the “elite “ FTE who can do no wrong. John Lewis quotes to do something when you see something unjust prompted me to write this. I was not even included in Peacock’s company wide emails about discrimination what an oxymoron. Lots of hot air about what should be said and never acted upon. OCC was correct in sanctioning millions Leaders are focused on their annual bonus. Unless you are an FTE expect to be trampled on and be fed “how great USAA is” If so great, why is OCC hanging the company out to dry by the short hairs? Working in GOVERNANCE I saw first hand the daily chaos and lack of accountability Scores of meetings canceled within an hour of scheduled start time for lack of preparation. Leadership confused about policies and standards. 3-4,meetings to explain same policy. Hoping by changing policy or standard name, the OCC will accept! Adhere to policy with objective evidence, don’t do the cowardly act of just changing the policy or standards name. Top heavy leadership who can’t reach consensus and no grassroots framework for execution of tasks, Disappointed in all regards and moving my assets to a financially sound enterprise who’s phone number OCC does not have on “speed dial.” Get your act together and treat consultants like the valuable assets we are, you imbeciles. I

Highly Recommended. Glassdoor has been a great asset to my life’s journey. I’ve used this website to inquire for jobs many times. Brilliantly designed for online job searching, create a profile and receive daily notifications. Methodically structured and informatively customized to each employers w/pay benefits offered receiving emails on companies that would be a good fit for me. In that I applied on line One week was the full process to date in starting a life changing career opportunity w/top pay, including medical/dental plan. UPS has been a very positive experience with financial stability Service of Excellences B2B Loyalty and Sacrifice helping people worldwide the COVID-19 pandemic

Negative reviews will get deleted and rejected. I’ve written reviews for the last two companies I’ve worked for and they consistently get rejected. I have a feeling that Glassdoor does not approve negative reviews for a lot of companies which leads me to believe that there’s some sort of bias going on, possibly related to employer engagement on the app. I understand that there are community guidelines that need to be met in order for a review to be approved, however, I’ve reviewed those community guidelines and I’ve altered my reviews to meet those standards and my review keeps getting rejected. I had an extremely alarming experience at my last job that I feel compelled to mention to anyone looking to work at said company. It is it no way anything in appropriate and has everything to do with how the company continues to misallocate funds to its employees, yes, paychecks are not being paid out properly and it’s a well known issue within the company but if they are new, I feel they need to be warned and not blindsided. It’s really frustrating to write a concise and in depth review for a company you’ve worked for, only for it to get rejected.

Great resource, but mobile app needs work. Glassdoor is great, but the mobile app needs work. I prefer searching on a browser, because you can just search “position x salary at company y” and the Glassdoor link will pop up. This simple task is more cumbersome when you actually start in the app, have to either search for the company or the position first. From there you then have to search from within the company or position page to find the other. It’s just extra steps and it usually does not work well when searching from within another page. The issue with using the browser is it forces you to sign on to view the info. The content is good, but the search functionality makes using the platform inconvenient when trying to get data/info.

Useless. I started using Glassdoor several years ago and it was useful in getting insight into the the work environment, specific roles, and the interview process in a company from past and current employee reviews. In the last year or so, though, I can’t wrap my head around the changes that have been made to it which have essentially rendered it useless for me. What’s with all these community comments, notifications, bowls, and etc? Are they really necessary? It’s so tedious now to navigate around to find the reviews relevant to the company I’m looking up. Speaking for many of us, we just want to be able to get these insights conveniently, while contributing our own reviews to help others. I question the thought process behind implementing all these recent changes that have detracted the service/app so far away from its initial purpose and from what had kept me as a continued user. I went on it again today and once again have found this app just taking up storage in my phone and am considering just deleting it at this point.

Not very good for job search, but not worthless. Kinda shady that they have a mobile site, but you can't use it unless you download the app. Also highly suspicious that many of the reviews here are from the friends and family of the app's creator. As far as the app itself goes, the filters are a little lacking and the second you put any kind of profession in, it gives you recommendations for everything remotely related. A college professor does not need to see high school PE teacher on the list, a primary care doctor does not need to see every opening in every hospital in a 25 mile radius (from speech therapist to medical director of surgery)... Less is more- figure it out. On the upside, you can occasionally get a review of the employer before you apply. Much of the time though, it is giving you a review of the parent company or the company doing the marketing for the job, rather than the job itself. You are probably better off though using a different app to find a job, then this one to get a review of the employer before applying. Edit: Now the app doesn’t even listen to your filters. You ask for an exact match for the location, and it automatically broadens out to a 25 mile radius, and refuses to be set back to exact location. It’s not bad enough you have to sift through dozens of sponsored listings, but now you get your hopes up that you finally found a match and it is in the next town over, like an hour and a half commute...

Whyyyy?. What in the name of terrible UX is this? Was this even tested? With humans? I used to be able to put in one word to search for a salary because no one uses the same job description…so if I am looking for an “event & tradeshow manager” someone who works there may use “event manager” or “marketing event manager” or “tradeshow manager”…. You get it. I would put the word “event” in and search and voila all job descriptions with the word event would pop up. Now, not so much. You have to choose from a drop down… at first I thought the drop-down was confirmed job titles for that company. Again, not so much. Just generic titles. So now I spend WAY too much time going through each job under each section because I have no idea where they put Marketing jobs. While we’re on that topic…. what is with breaking the titles up between “business” and “product & project management”, etc… why is there no clear “marketing” option? I’d be happy to keep going with examples - but good lord..why should I do your research for you? That is your job: create a GREAT UX that is intuitive to use once tested with humans who use the app - not one that is cumbersome and makes people irritated because you released this horrid version without testing. And if you did test, then this is even more laughable. This once easy to use app has become a PIA and annoying to use. It angers me the amount of wasted time I have spent trying to navigate what was is now a joke of a UX.

0 Stars Garbage App. This app is absolutely worthless, you can’t do anything within the app it just redirects to a web browser. I used the Sign in with Apple option which was a terrible choice because Glassdoor is not implementing that properly. Since everything has to be done in a web browser and not through the app, you have to log in on a web browser. They don’t have Sign in with Apple implemented properly in a web browser. I have to type in the long random email address Apple created for this account and then it takes me to the Sign in with Apple flow. I tried to delete my account because this service is garbage but I can’t even do that. Even though I am already signed in to my account in a web browser (you can’t delete an account through the app of course) once I click the button to delete my account, it makes me sign in again. So I, again, tediously type out the long random email address created by the Sign in with Apple process and complete the authentication with my Apple account. It just takes me back to the settings page where I clicked the delete account button originally. I try again and it just loops back. So deleting my account isn’t possible and is just a loop. I’ve disconnected my Apple ID from this sign in thinking Glassdoor may let me sign in normally but it still makes me authentic with Apple which of course fails now. I’ve contacted their support to demand they delete my account permanently. Stay away from this app and website at all costs!

Ok for salary comparison, terrible for job search. Once upon a time Glassdoor was competitive with its ability to match job seekers with potential employers. Now any time you search a position within a certain area, the first 10-20 results are always random positions from all over the country, presumably with companies who have paid a handsome fee to push their company to the top of search algorithms, search criteria be damned. This renders them virtually useless as a job search site, and is the reason I no longer use them at all when searching for a job. I deleted the app and as a rule I now always skip their site as a google search result because it inevitably is a waste of time no matter how many times I try. The only reason Glassdoor gets a second star is because when it comes to employer reviews and salary comparison, although mediocre at best it is still lightyears ahead of any other sites for these particular functions. It stands to reason... because they are essentially the only company that offers such a service, they don’t necessarily have to be good at it.

Completely useless. Won’t ever be back. Sign in experience is confusing and on web looks like you can no longer sign in with email address. Requires you contribute before you can see anything. Constantly recommends completely irrelevant jobs. Navigation of app and website have always been painful and hasn’t improved one bit in the past couple of years. It’s really a shame because there’s a lot of potential here. More and more GD is feeling like a neglected afterthought and feels like something built in like the early 2000’s. I would have always preferred to pay some kind of subscription, maybe $9.99 monthly, for a well executed version of this idea. Such a shame. Edit: After having multiple interview submissions rejected due to “community guidelines” I’ve decided this site can’t possibly provide any actually useful information for me as a candidate. Bias in favor of engaged employers is no longer subtle. Account deleted. 👋

ALLOWS FAKE REVIEWS-DO NOT TRUST. After almost a decade (maybe more) I am completely deleting my Glassdoor account. Glassdoor is allowing painfully, blatantly fake reviews. It’s quite obvious if you take a peek. A company rating tanks due to dozens of honest, critical reviews over the course of several months. Then suddenly within 1 month (sometimes on the SAME DAY) multiple users will post a copy/pasted recruiter’s speech. Everything is listed as a “pro” and there’s zero cons. ZERO. I feel silly now for not realizing but, Glassdoor is a business too. And Glassdoor thinks you’re stupid. I flag what is clearly a recruiter review, only to hear from someone at Glassdoor that what I’ve flagged isn’t an issue. You’re clearly not reading what people are flagging and if you are, then a retraining of all your staff is necessary. I’m not flagging bc it’s fun, I’m doing it bc I wanted to trust Glassdoor. But I can see that’s no longer possible. I’ve found long threads of complaints from other users who have experienced the same issue, search for yourself.

Caving to Corporate pressure, Was better in the past.. I have used Glassdoor is a objective data point for many years about employment topics and been very satisfied. It’s only been in the last 12 to 18 months would I say I am disappointed in their behavior. It appears as though they are giving into the politics and pressure of the CEOs, and/or corporate senior leadership of companies, when an unflattering, yet fact-based trend of opinions are published about the company. It is understandable there are sour grapes, opinions based on people being let go for whatever particular reason however, when there tends to be trends, overtime that are on the negative side and could easily be resolved if a company actually owned its issues those two are being taken down from the Glassdoor site. I think that Comparably is now going to be my go to place instead of Glassdoor as a datapoint for HCM and employment decisions.

Copywriter, Digital Content Specialist & Youth Speaker. I love GlassDoor because it lets you know when your resume was viewed and it gives you the salaries as well as reminders for jobs you have saved. A lot of these positions make it seem like heaven on earth until you get to the interview then it’s a bunch of mess and not a real position but outside sales and commission based vending and tabling. GlassDoor screens their agencies posting and so far it has all been legit jobs, however most are not offering me what I’m worth, so I have passed on most. Looking at the salaries is a great deciding factor in applying for a position, especially as a Writer, Brand Strategist and Digital Content Marketer because all those positions require a lot of brain power, my eyes on the computer, research, data collection, training, seated long hours, editing expertise, Facebook mastery, Google skills, Inbound Marketing knack & know how, and I must be respected with an adult payment plan for my passions, talents and superb writing gifts or I give it no energy. As a Freelance Writer, Digital Content Specialist, and Youth Speaker, I’m always sending out pitches and proposal to get lucrative gigs and I have no more time to waste because my dreams are calling.

Unusable App. I’ve been trying to update my profile and other various aspects of my info, including visibility. I want to add a school, but I only allows me to add the desired level and dates of attendance; it won’t all inpu of school and subject matter of my education. The same is true with my profile; I can input some things, not allowed to input the most important info. It goes on and on. What is wrong with this app? It’s definitely not the user. Additionally, it keeps sending me jobs like restaurant server when I have a master’s degree; why is it sending me jobs that are waaaay beneath my skill and education level? Beats me, I didn’t ask for them, yet I keep getting, littering my inbox with garbage. I’m certain it’s because it picked up my college survival job, but since I can’t update my info, I’m probably stuck with unwanted openings for a babysitter. This app is awful, uncooperative, and frankly, hurting my opportunities.

Yep; just not the same as Paradise Foods…. When Nugget took over, a LOT of folks realized in short order that Things Had Changed… while their business model works well up further north, Marin is a unique culture and clientele… a LOT of clients and employees quit… folks (both clients and employees) kinda get grumpy when they’re told “We Know Better”… just because something works in Carmichael doesn’t mean it plays well in San Rafael- let _alone_ Tiburon!! While Paradise was _far_ from perfect (worked there for over three years), Nugget’s Corporate Attitude turned off MANY people… simply taking the time to get the opinions of both customers and employees (and actually _listening_..) would have gone a long way towards easing the transition…. They lost a LOT of long-term Regular Customers in a short amount of time… and Probably Future Customers as well, because unsatisfied regulars are going to express their feelings to potential new customers… I know that I got an earful from my regulars, and many just quit coming in… and employee turnover skyrocketed… A Cautionary Tale about Corporate Arrogance.

Ugh. Glassdoor is truly the best place to find jobs - it really makes a job search much easier. However, the app is awful. There is just so many issues… that occur multiple times a week. 1) Jobs I save on the app are never on my profile when I log on my computer 2) I save jobs, log on a few hours later the jobs are no longer saved 3) Sometimes the saved jobs change and look like you have 5 jobs with the same company, but in reality there are 5 different companies 4) When you scroll down to look at jobs other jobs seekers viewed - it will say 2 days for the posting & really it was posted like 55 days ago 5) So many of the remote jobs - are not remote. They say remote for the location on glassdoor, but then you click on apply & they are in person in a certain location I always update my phone & app when needed, but it makes no difference. I have been using the app for 3 years & it’s the same issues constantly. Also - the company I work for constantly gets reviews that are not for our company & jobs are posted that are not for our company. It’s really crazy how that happens & how we are unable to remove the reviews.

Must Have for even the “happiest” of talent. Honestly anyone who is capable of being able to grow, adapt, provide/seek insight into your current workplace situation, or even to help provide you with knowledge of your own industries close competitors for too many to name reasons, should have this app! I would appreciate if users would be more interactive with providing feedback to their current workplace; yet having an HR degree it’s not anything that is shocking. I think if ANY changes are made, it should be alerted industry openings, wage differences, and more accurately reflect the current compensation packages from employers to help entice talent. This app if marketed, and more options would be available for both the talent, & employers it could easily surpass LinkedIn!

Improvements Needed for Some Basic Functions. This is a good job search app at first, but after a far weeks I continues to get alerts for openings that I’ve already applied for, or that I’ve requested to be hidden because I had no interest in them. I have applied for many jobs that I can’t seem to mark as “ applied for”, even though there’s seems to be a place in the app to store that information. I hate to invoke the name of their competitors but Indeed should be the benchmark for how Glassdoor should work. On that app I can look back at a job I applied for, interviewed and was offered almost a year ago because my progress was logged. This is not the worst of the jobs search app I’ve worked on, they do have some unique job listings and they screen employers so you won’t get scam offers (like CareerBuilder), but they need to work on polishing up some of those basic job search tasks.

Incredibly Spammy. Mass notifications and emails sent on a daily basis out of the box. Info on the app/website is becoming more and more diluted with fake reviews and paid content

Auth error. It often asks me to login even after successfully login. Overall the experience of using this service is pretty bad 😔

App crash. Spent a long time writing a review. Did not specify number of characters in review title section. Once finished I tried to submit only to be informed it was too long! Spent even more time removing parts of the review and just as I was about to try submitting it again the app crashed and the review is gone. Big waste of my time

App Response and search. Frankly I am not sure if its the app software but it seems there is a delay and sometimes no response in the application like choosing country job search and/or job type search and save.

Instrumental. My favourite jobs App.

Continually forced to login!. This app is great except it NEVER retains your login. What the hell is the point of Face ID if you're forced to sign in with your email login after you close the app... EVERY TIME! Fix it!!!!

Job alerts also included every other available jobs.. The job filter does not work, resulting listings of every other job listings.

Mr Ben Hutchison. Working Victoria police jab for police officers

Graffiti. Allowing anonymous and unchecked (don’t even need to be an employee) reviews just encourages internet graffiti. Shame it’s your business model that needs to encourage these practices. It’d be good to see more reviews where there’s a willingness to put your name against it (positive or negative). Also you should probably fix your feedback form on iPhone X. Can’t submit or cancel.

App is no good. Being paid by most companies not to upload the horrible reviews about them.

Latest update keeps crashing fix it!!!. See title and fix the app!!!

Feedback openly manipulated. The other feedback re this company and app is quite accurate. If you are looking for genuine insights into a company, this is not a credible source of research. Do be careful of what you post here.

Not “Seek”. This app will spam your email client with far too many emails. At Seek bundles your saved searches and sends you on email. The job search filtering criteria is too limiting. I would recommend this app to anyone yet.

Would be better with Salaries but Jobs are good to see. Wish it had Salaries but Jobs are good to see and get on the email. Wouldn’t put a lot of stock into reviews as they are very subjective but hey, most of the time people are only willing to say something at all is when they are complaining so yeah, always skewed.

annoying. It was good until a recent version update. The app asks me to sign in every time I open it.

Buggy. Every 2-3 searches taking me back to the home page.

Don’t bother with the app. Just use the site in a browser window - the app crashes constantly and has log in issues

Julie. Really annoyed with this app as you can’t apply for a job directly and need to register on employer’s website and the jobs they suggest Im perfect for mismatch my resume! Sorry, not interested in nurse job (pt) if I got a MA in Marketing management!!! Annoyed

Great app. Shame about the company values. There are companies posting very blatant fake reviews on this site and glassdoor refuse to remove them. Therefore this offers no more insight into companies than calling them up and asking what they’re like to work for.

Useless for FIFO or remote workers. As it doesn’t have the option to select large areas for a job search this app is totally useless to me.

I am still disturbed years later. I always tell people about my experience working with this company because after years I still have PTSD from it. The way I was treated and the way my colleagues were treated by the CEO was nothing short of disgusting. The bullying and belittling were next level, the lack of empathy astounding. I had remote employees crying on the phone to me, I often cried, people resigned constantly. I once saw an employee collapse unconscious and the CEO got up from her desk and closed her office door to the situation. The absolute chaos and wasting of company funds due to the staff turnover was ridiculous. There is nothing good to say about this company at all. Don’t work here. The bad reviews are not exaggerated.

Review model is not trustworthy. Gosh anyone can leave a review - good or bad. How confident are we in its truthfulness? I can even come along and slander any CXO by name - doesn’t this allow for online bullying? What measures are taken to vet reviews?

Draft feature. Please incl. a draft feature. Was writing interview feedback when suddenly the app crashed, losing 15 mins. Very frustrating

Buggy. Both Google & Facebook sign in were not working for me. :(

Chill with the prompts to sign or sign up. Been trying to look at reviews for a company but just get spammed 10x over asking me to sign in with UI walls.

Interesting spot on the continuum of social networks. Glassdoor fits somewhere between AngelList and LinkedIn on the startup vs big grown up company scale. Definitely worth downloading and having a play with.

One of the worst UIs of any major app I use. It’s a terrible UX/UI experience... finding salary data is not easy and often show dozens of “salaries” but no data. Seems to be a related to select location. Make this easy... salary data is the only reason anyone uses your website/app!

Please add feature of pay by gender. I'd like to see data of pay for the same title by gender. That will keep companies accountable.

Your search algorithm is really poor. I keep on getting sent job notifications that are not relevant nor applicable to me Very disappointed

Excellent App!. Great to review a workplace for ‘interview questions’ before an interview!

Decent Jobs Advertised, Company Reviews Can be Bought. Used to be a good site for honest company reviews. Now Glassdoor can be paid off to take any negative ones down by the company in question which really doesn’t give the job applicant an honest overview of the company that they may be interested in working at. The jobs advertised are of a decent quality though and much better than most job sites.

No sort functionality/ email feedback not working. Needs sort functionality and to fix email feedback

Glassdoor staff remove reviews clearly in line with community guidelines. It is pretty clear that companies can easily get any negative posts they dislike taken down. What’s left are mostly fake articles written by companies that specialise in spamming positive reviews for money. Glassdoor used to actually be useful, you could rely on what was there in deciding your next career move. Clearly that value is no longer there, overridden by a focus on profit. Do some Analysis internally and see if your company has a bias to removing unfavourable articles for companies that pay to advertise vacancies on your site - almost certain you’ll find that it exists.

English translation. It would be good, especially for English speaking expats, if there was a translate option for those ads that aren’t in English.

Useless App. Don’t even think about this app if you live in Australia! It will keep sending you jobs for England and Canada, even though you’ve said you live in Australia. And if you sign in by Facebook...it won’t let you close the account so you can get rid of the countless useless emails for overseas work. Emails are now junked and app deleted...waste of time!

Glitch in app. The app does not recognise job title nor location - very frustrating

They sell your data. Don’t use - they sell you data

Stop signing me out. Sort it out guys, your app is awful. Why when I put in “Australia” for location do you insist on auto filling it to “Australian Capital Territory”. Stop signing me out with every update. You’re a $1.2B company, surely you can invest something in your UX?

Unhelpful app. I can't view the full interview answers..it only shows the first part!! Useless and waste of time..totally don't recommend it!

Useless. It constantly asks me to sign in every time I want to save a job, but it never signs in.

New version has major defects (incompetent UAT). All the buttons are gone due to incorrect resolution design. Buttons are squizzed outside the screen.

Fake review haven. Flawed. Business reviews can be made by anyone without having worked at the business. It’s a platform for disgruntled staff to vent anonymously. Claims can not be questioned due to nameless reviews. Glassdoor is not interested in balanced opinions and reviews.

see below. i love the comment and review which helped me a lot when making changes

Ok needs simple improvements. Being able to see current opportunities is great... but give the ability to sort by date posted, location, etc. please. These simple User-Friendly options are what make me choose other apps for job searching over this app.

Worst app ever. Not intuitive and only loads two companies on the home page. Any other job searching platform is better.

App does not work. You can’t login with Facebook, no matter how many times you do it it doesn’t log you in

Lost it’s purpose. I just signed up so I can read reviews of a specific company I am interested in and got crushed with sign in and accounting set up requests regarding email or FB as well as a mandatory review plus salary review etc etc Of my own employers! I don’t want to post a review I want to read reviews! Poor app and now Glassdoor is going in the ‘not worth it’ bin

Irrelevant job ads. All I seem to get are irrelevant job ads. Even after clicking “Hide this job” is still get emailed about it. Haven’t received a credible opportunity in over a year.

Great app and handy notifications. I would highly recommend this app. Love it’s job notifications

Good high quality opportunities and valuable reviews. Well done.. One of the better Recuitment sites.

Hostile data collection after update. Aggressive and unavoidable data collection is very annoying after the April 2023 update. Bad idea.

Log in #bugs. Everytime I tried to log in to my account it’s giving me error. That’s frustrating

Excellent app.. I like how buttery smooth the app is. Good job guys!!

Garbage. Asks me to complete my profile get as far as what my job title is then the app deletes everything and I’m back to square one

Censorship. Glassdoor is being paid to remove previously approved, legitimate reviews. Going elsewhere.

So annoying for notifications!!!. This is the most annoying app ever for notifications! I got 100+ a day for stuff that I didn’t even set notifications for. I had to delete the app because of this.

Too easy for employers to manipulate. Just google about it. Dishonest employers get honest, real reviews removed & post fake reviews. I see & hear about it happening all the time before googling about it. So I don’t trust the app. The Google reviews I’ve seen are worded more realistic.

Oops something went wrong. When I tried to submit a review I kept getting the same error message over and over

Recherche d’emploi. Glassdoor est une plateforme simple à utiliser car très intuitive, j’aime particulièrement l’affichage d’éléments qui sont importants à mes yeux dans la partie ´listing’ d’offres (salaire, travail sur site/hybride, etc.).

Can’t complete my profile. Every time I try to complete my profile I’m booted out only to answer what I’m looking and where I’m looking (which I’ve done, over and over), then about turning on notifications, which I skip every time. This goes on and on. Frustrating.

Location search doesn’t work. Searching jobs in Toronto shows locations 500 miles away

bugs bugs more bugs. app doesn’t work, multiple bugs. as an example, my app is stuck in french (i speak english) and no matter what language i try to set it to it still stays stuck in french. unusable app!

Can’t see salaries in other regions. Can’t see salaries in other regions

Not What it Used to Be. This use to be an open door on what employees thought about their workplaces and boses… now it’s just Indeed

Forced data collection = Goodbye. I updated my app to the latest version and it forced extra data collection on me in order to continue using the app WITHOUT an option to opt out. It’s hard for me as a user to trust that the app handles sensitive and private data adequately, when basic functionally like search and filtering has been lack lustre/broken for years… you should try and fix and polish the app first before going after users sensitive and high value data. I hope you take my review into consideration to make better improvements in the future. As for now, seems like the only option left for me is to opt out of the app completely.👋👋

Don’t swipe down in app when writing review…. - was writing review in app - wrote a lot - accidentally swiped down - BOOM! All gone… - good job…

Wet & trippy. The app has an insanely smooth look, layout and speed, yet logging in or signing up is VERY bugged (took me 3 weeks) and ended up in safari doing it, however I hope that all goes behind me now

So buggy. Review sorting is broken for years, is someone in your company still working on your ios app? Your mobile eng team should all be fired

Great concept. Poor execution. I decided to toggle my home country to see salaries from different countries instead of changing my filters all the time. However it seems it broke the application and can’t search for anything anymore. The behaviour replicated on my other devices. If I have to make a new account this kinda defeat the ease of use.

how can i get a job without an account.. i have tried time and time again, only resulting failure and time wasted. i could not create an account through the app, i could not submit my resume through the website, tried different emails, different file types, different people/name, still nothing, glassdoor seemingly always has problems, through both the app and the website. is this app broken or is it normal for the app, to no end, ask the same questions? i answered my location and position, continue to finishing my account (name, resume, etc) but it never stops asking for location and position! i try to enter my details and once i get to “position” or “location”, (which, keep in mind, has already been filled in, multiple times) it keeps asking for location and position, i tried to skip this step and apply, thinking the resume would be enough, but the resume is not accepted, or i am told to finish my account. online applications are not the greatest, sure. but with the ongoing pandemic, we are asked by most employers to apply online. from all my experience glassdoor is a useless, waste of time. fix the “service” or get rid of it, so people are no longer fooled. glassdoor should not exist if the problems persist!!! it is an app for job applications, why can i no apply to jobs?!?!

Saved List Sync Issue. Its good mobile app but it cant show job lists on website. It seems to be a sync issue in between ios app & website. Please fix the issue ASAP.

Keeps crashing after latest update on iOS 11.3. It just keeps crashing after the latest update today on iOS 11.3

Last update is intolerable. After updating the app it forced me to put in all my private information which was not required previously. Deleted immediately. Really stupid move by whoever that is designing the app.

Can’t login. Just downloaded newest version. Can’t login cause it wants “newest version for two-factor login”, but I do have the newest version, I’m so confused.

Excellent Job Hunters Tool. Glassdoor fills the need that exists for a Job Seeker to find jobs with companies that are rated well by its employees. It often provides critical reviews from present or past employees who rate the employer on a star system too. Searching for a job has previously been defined by the questions of the hiring company. The hiring company often leave salary or salary ranges out of their posting. This impacts your ability as a job seeker to rule out companies that pay less than what an employee previously recieved. Glassdoor does a good job in filling this need, and it’s ability to match you to relevant jobs is overall impressive. Way to go guys!

Done. Deleted the app because of the data collection. Didn’t even have the option to delete my account without having to put all my information in

Deleted the app as they are forcing you to enter whole bunch of info. No option to login anymore Without providing whole bunch of info I do not want to provide. App deleted….

Not compatible. Updated version is not compatible with iPhone unless it’s 15.0, very disappointing.

Great tool. Great tool and community for job seeker

Glitch city. If I try to open anything else or navigate away from the app it crashes, it also crashes when I try to copy and paste text

useful. helpful

Do not download or use. This app spy’s on you, mandatory steals and sells your data by default that you can try and opt out of but there is a million policies on tracking, data storage, marketing and cookies you won’t escape. They also have no problem with companies going on campaigns to push employees to write positive reviews (employers control your salary so it’s the same of just paying for fake positive reviews). They welcome that and That was the response they gave me. How’s that for a Glassdoor. Delete this app, make sure you delete your submissions and your account too through a browser and/or hide behind vpns and throw away emails because they are up to trickery here.

Salaries rarely load. That’s it.

Good. Love this app

Salary view is broken. Used to work, now it’s buggy, shows only a few or no salaries. E.g. company I’m looking at, tab strip says 70 salaries, section header says 104 salaries (53 job titles), but page body shows 4 job titles, aggregating 26 salaries. Your code is broken.

Sorting not working. Too many bugs

Used to be great. Now just bugs everywhere, pretty much completely useless now. Sad.

Keep it up. Helped so many people get jobs so you are doing wonderful work

Salary. There should be an option to filter the salary range

Easy. Glass-door App excels at ease of use and presentation of opportunities in my desired compensation range

Forced me to download? Take your review. Junk app! Unlimited notifications pushes and advs! Fku

Just about perfect.. Easy to use. Extensive database of companies with lots of useful information at your fingertips. Great app for finding jobs. Salary prediction feature is very useful. Improvement: app should allow users to customize landing page. Should also allow the user to see salary information for companies in other countries more easily. Also, it’s a bit unclear how recent the salary information is and whether it accounts for recent changes.

App is awful. The app will not except my review, despite working on it at length. In the telling observation, the help centre of the application, won’t let me upload my feedback. 🤷‍♂️ That about sums up how useful this app/platform is.

Good App needs next level in data. The app provides good data however, I would like to see data analysis on how many times in the last 5 years the role has been posted.

Poor application performance; lack of features; forced to download app. Additionally, forced to provide email address.

Glitchy app. There is always a problem when I look at the Salaries tab. It shows a number at first, and when I click on the tab it says- No salaries found. Very frustrating! Not at all recommended!

bringing the proletariat closer together. great way to see what you’re really getting into

This app is useless. Not good. When I search for jobs using my location, it provides jobs in other provinces.

He/him. Super good for job search

Erreurs et bogues. Impossible de créer un avis en français, je n’obtiens que des erreurs - c’est pourtant la base que l’app puisse fonctionner entièrement dans les langues supportées.

Info is great but site/app are wonky. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so because I find Glassdoor such a helpful resource, yet I’m incredibly frustrated with both the website and the app. I don’t know if it’s related to cookies, but the desktop version is always logging me off and showing repeat listings of jobs. I’m looking in different regions and the site definitely isn’t built for that. Nor is the app, as it doesn’t use correct currency symbols and for super confused when I changed regions and now won’t let me change my region back to the default. Glassdoor, I’d be happy to be a beta tester if you need suggestions and/or feedback. I support your project — just want it to be a little more seamless

Needs improvement. The reviews of the jobs page in the app only shows the ceo review but doesn’t show any other reviews. I got an email saying the salaries of employees could be viewed but it’s no where to be found on the app and the emails link just opens the app. Every page of the app has spam of “recommended jobs” which are all out of my area. I want to see jobs I search for not jobs I do not search for please. There’s a reason I search! In the other pages those bottom areas should be used to make those pages even better, such as a list of reviews!

Excellent app, could use tweaks. I love this app. Great for interview prep, understanding company benefits, getting a feel for whether a company’s culture is healthy. And more! Highly recommend. Though there are a couple of issues I hope Glassdoor addresses: One, when looking at a company’s interview reviews, the the search function for specific jobs always returns zero results. I’ve tried different terms, including jobs I see listed, and nothing. Lower case/upper case. Would be great if that were fixed and also if we could click from options rather than type out. Two, job search function should have a “remote” option.

Worst User Experience Ever. Glassdoor, listen up. You app has terrible user experience. I go look up a job and it’s salary, then I’m stopped and told I need to sign in to see it. Ugh….Fine! So I go and sign in and go through 2 factor authentication etc etc. Finally I’m logged in…. And I’m hit with please submit a survey review of your own company prior to seeing anything. No! I don’t work for free to make your app better. Now I’ve wasted 10 minutes running through hoops just to see a single salary on your site. So what do I do? I close out and go to indeed or linked in because stop wasting my time. Make your app more actually user friendly or be left in the dust to your competitors. I like Glassdoor, when I can actually use it. I like the bowls feature. But this pettiness with running in hoops needs to stop.

Get rid of bowl notifications.. The app is great. The annoying notifications for bowls are not. I'm not subscribed to any bowls. I don't want to get notifications for the bowls. Stop shoving bowl chats or whatever in my notifications. I had to stop all notifications from the app which means I now am not really using Glassdoor anymore. It's annoying and I'd prefer to get other notifications from Glassdoor but as long as I can't manage all my notifications, notifications stay off. 2 stars until that changes then it goes back up to 5 stars.

Disappointed in Glassdoor. I have always appreciated the concept of Glassdoor and have used it as a research tool before applying for or accepting jobs in the past. However, I was extremely disappointed to recently learn that Glassdoor will remove negative reviews for companies. I know this because I work for a company that has recently received several negative reviews, yet they were able to have these removed, even though the information contained within the reviews was substantiated and 100% correct. Obviously I don’t want negative reviews out there about the company for which I work, but it’s disappointing that so many people believe they can come to Glassdoor for impartial feedback on a company when in reality companies are able to manipulate the information being disseminated.

Skewed by order of reviews. For the most part I find the reviews to be accurate. I have noticed that the positive reviews seem to most always at the top of the list even though there are more recent reviews buried. At least a couple of companies for which I have read reviews have very positive reviews at the top that have obviously been written by company executives designed specifically to cloud the real issues. I have personal knowledge of at least one company for which I read the reviews. This does a disservice to honest job seekers looking for accuracy in the reviews.

Job search function is pretty much useless. I will start off by saying that the jobs that Glassdoor sends to my email (job alerts) are actually pretty good. However if I actually try to search for a job with the app, it can’t seem to use location (allowed on phone) or inputted location (entered into search field in app) to find a job in my area. It’s not like I’m giving it a difficult city to search either... I live in the fifth largest city in the US. The app does at least return relevant jobs to your search, just not in your city or state most of the time. I guess if you aren’t tied to your current city or have a lot of time on your hands to find the few results that are somewhat nearby, it might be useful.

Not what it used to be. I haven’t been on this app in awhile, but do to new circumstances I need to find a job again and came to this app. Well I’m truly disappointed! This app used to be the go to job app but it doesn’t post as many jobs, when you go to apply to a company and it redirects it to their website it zooms in on the format and you can’t load your resume and can hardly read the page (the app even gives a disclaimer saying this might happen using the jobs website which is absurd and they need to fix it not warn us)! I do like how it lists the salary’s and you can get a request for it if not shown. I hope they fix these things because I do like some features other apps don’t have.

Used to be good. Tech team - look at recent reviews!. I used to love this app, very helpful to understand if I’m within past range when getting new positions. I stopped using it for a few years and now that I’m back to using it I am very disappointed. The salary search function is unusable. When trying to search, the results do not show up correctly. Or, when you finally do get search results, you cannot go to the next page because it takes you back to the main search page. I thought I was going something wrong, but have tried it for different companies and different search queries and get the same results. PLEASE FIX THIS. I enjoyed this app very much, but the changes I see do not seem to be the right ones.

altered reviews about possible harassment?. reviews are altered despite the owner (my former employer) saying reviews are not altered and i have proof of that, altered possibly my owner or glass door, my review was posted but some cons were deleted such as possible racially motivated comments made to me by management aka the owner and possible harassment outside of work that i said i document still to this day! it’s possible quitting wasn’t good enough for this employer, waiting for the day you guys get sued for allowing this glass door i wanted to warn others, i’m concerned to this day the harassment might still be going on via social platforms even though i no longer work there which is insane, and this employer has of course every piece of my info, if something happens to me you will know sites like this won’t actually allow the truth to be posted leaving others vulnerable but it’s ok because i document almost everything i just feel bad for others who maybe going through the same when people decide to “allegedly” abuse their power and basically hunt you down and toy with you unprovoked

Great Service. Too Many Notifications. Glassdoor is a fantastic service. You can find great jobs, apply with a click of a button, and read really helpful company reviews. The notifications are crazy. Even after I thought I turned them off. If you search for anything at all at any point you’ll start getting daily notifications and emails about new jobs related to that search. Like I said, I am still getting many emails about jobs even after I turned off email notifications. It’s a useful service, and the notifications could be useful, but they are just annoying in the current state.

Restarts job search. This is a good app for looking for jobs except for the fact that every time you renter the app it takes you back to the main page and then you have to start your job search all over again and it does that no matter how long it takes you to return to the app. Like on my iPhone I'll have a few apps or whatever opened at a time and go back and forth between them but apparently Glassdoor isn't capable of doing so! Would be awesome if that could be changed. Shouldn't have to restart my job search after going to a different app for 5secs. It's super frustrating!

Ok but seriously flawed. Anonymous sites have pros and cons, for both employees/interviewees and employers. Pro is most likely can’t be retaliated against. Con is people say absolute horrible things. I see reviews from upset coworkers that were disgruntled, but were just seriously bad employees; I mean really bad. Then a good ethical person is judging the company off this idiot’s inability to be a decent worker? On flip side, another employer had their son write a bunch of glowing reviews. Third point is this site is totally useless for very large corporations such as national or global companies. You need to break them into divisions more and/or actual work sites/offices/plants. Someone writing a review for a job five states over has no value to anyone. If it’s someone at the office I’m actually going to work at great, but there’s no way to do that.

Forced Entire Phone Upgrade just to update stupid app is coercion. It’s ludicrous to be coerced having to update your entire phone system just to use the dumb app! Now I will definitely uninstall this entire useless app! Do not abide with this propaganda they all are in it. They just want your fingerprints and then they want your eye metrics. Now they will completely own your entire data and being now that we humbly give away our rights. This is insane! I should not have to update my ENTIRE PHONE in Order to have access to the app which actually we are giving them the rights and access to our entire personal account, information, phone pics, email, passwords, etc. I will just uninstall this app. And use LinkedIn and Fishbowl anyways! We can just go back to the old fashion ways!

Sends Alerts for Job Distant Jobs. The app is okay, but despite how many times I send feedback about a flaw in their notifications, nothing happens. I live in a city where there is a city of the same name in Canada. I’m constantly getting emails saying “University of Toronto is Hiring!” Yeah, that’s cool, but I live in Utah. After sending them at least five emails about it (that’s not the only one) nothing changes. I’ve tried to turn off emails entirely and that doesn’t work either. I can only recommend the app for YOUR research. Do not count on them sending you anything relevant. And it’s completely stupid that you can’t change you email! The email you used to create you account is stuck forever. Remedial developers need to be taken out to the woodshed.

Works for me!. Glassdoor, in my opinion, has been the most effective tool in my job search as it is very robust. Glassdoor provides not only job opportunities but, useful feedback from current and former employees, detailed information regarding the company mission, links to the corporate website as well as reasonable estimations of salary ranges. The Glassdoor app is well organized, easy to navigate and in my experience has posted reliable and current opportunities. Glassdoor is practically a one-stop-shop for me. If you are looking for a new resource in your job hunt or company research, maybe you’ll find Glassdoor can be as useful for you as it has been for me.

Not pleased. With the world going mobile and the days of the pc ball and chain being over; why do apps like this have no way to apply for a job with files created from iPad and iPhone. Pages works better than office and I can use it free with my $1200 iPhone. Come on coders get with the program and create a truly mobile experience for your on the go users. It makes no sense that I must download several apps in an attempt to convert a pages document to upload my resume, business card, or cover letter. Please Fix This it is truly past Due! If you read this and agree please tell app developers there is no need for desktop software requirements. Make apps work with the mobile tools preloaded and available to all iPad and iPhone users. We are Mac!

Comprehensive & Informative. Few job sites offer as comprehensive a scale of information as Glassdoor does. This impressive service is expertly translates into app form, allowing for easy and convenient job searching on the go. Few, if any, other apps offer the depth and quality of information that Glassdoor does. While it is not the only app I use for job searching, I always inevitably refer back to Glassdoor on any position or company in interested in, as they often have the information to fill in the blanks that others lack. Overall, great app.

Good, but lacks an important feature.... From the job search perspective, I think the app works fine. Filters allow you to limit by standard keyword, geo-location and company size. However, what I find most frustrating is that I can’t filter out specific companies that I do not ever want to see job listings from. There are hundreds of opportunities I screen every day. Certain companies are posting more than one opportunity (sometimes dozens) per day. It’s a huge time waster and annoying to look at postings that I’ll never apply to because I don’t want to work at that company.

Still needs work. UI for job searches still kinda sloppy. Major glitch when signing in saying to update to the latest version for MFA support. This issue still has YET to be fixed for a couple iterations now. Always receiving notifications for unrelated jobs simply based off viewing jobs. Uploading a new resume always inadvertently leads to a new email saying you’re ready for Quick Applying. The app can stand to use more QA and be so much better. There’s a reason why people use LinkedIn for job searching a whole lot more. You could adapt and be a main contender since your main thing is salary/company reviews. Try to leverage both avenues and a better UI/UX for candidates.

Notifications are Very Frustrating. I enjoy the site and the information provided. However, the app notifications are the absolute PITS!!!! Every day sometimes three or four times a day I’m getting notified repeatedly about the same jobs that have ZERO to do with the searches I’ve saved. I’m thisclose to deleting the app. I’ve had it with going through the notifications a few times a day and 99% of the time they’re the exact same positions that are not relevant to my search. Will someone please take note and make important changes that address this issue? Thank you.

Great info!. I haven't looked for a job in over 20 years and stumbled across Glassdoor. I signed up for this app as well as others I knew from the past and a couple other new ones. I slowly cancelled the others when I got jobs emailed to me that had nothing to do with my criteria or interests. Glassdoor gave me a good search criteria and mostly good results as well as it making it easy to search specific criteria. Others gave me a lot of junk. I've landed my dream job and am so excited. I'm pretty confident I would not have found it had I not used Glassdoor. Oh...the salary ranges are pretty accurate too!

Great app with opportunity for improvement. This app is great compared to what’s out there. I wish there were a database that matched qualifications to jobs rather than titles, since similar positions may be called many different things. A cool update would be to create a checklist of some sort that would allow you to check off all of your qualifications and years of experience and match positions with the same or similar requirements. It would save a lot of time on the user end sifting through job postings that have requirements outside of your qualifications. For example: “bilingual required” postings should not pop up on my feed since I am not bilingual

Don’t.. This app is junky. Half of the jobs have no reviews because they all get censored over tiny things. The app always takes you to safari on iPhone so there’s rlly no point in having it anyway. I read through some of the privacy tab in the settings, they write a whole lot about how “people don’t actually understand what it means to sell information” which really shouldn’t be happening anyways because nowhere in the signup process does it say they give your information (which they will) or even give you an option to hide information. Every single button in the settings app almost crashes the entire app. It’ll freeze and then pop you right back to your last page. Just don’t do it. Do yourself a favor and use something like yelp instead.

Valuable resource but spammy. Things I love about this app: I can find relevant information about a company, including the work environment I can expect before I even apply. Searching and filtering jobs is easy. What I don’t like is that it keeps matching me with jobs that I am terribly unsuited for, and I get no less than 5 emails a day regarding these jobs that I would never be considered for. I’ve fiddled with email settings, but it hasn’t helped. I also don’t like that no matter how many times I specify “Part time,” it keeps sending me listing for full time jobs. I’ve recently become disabled and can not physically or mentally handle a full time job. It’s so frustrating.

Okay app with one annoying feature. I found it to be a pretty useful app although I personal have found some stuff through Indeed that this site has missed or advertises after the Indeed site. The main thing I don't like here (and that's probably something that only annoys me) is that if I'm curious about an advertised position and click on it to find out more about it, I'm sent a notification and email prompting me to apply for it. Just because I look at it doesn't mean I need to be nagged into applying for it. A lot of times after I look at it, I find it doesn't fit my needs (like only being part time) or qualifications. I'm aware of it; I don't need an application mom bugging me about jobs I have determined don't fit my needs.

Sort by most helpful reviews. This is a great resource for someone who is doing a research on their next career move and it will be more reliable if the company reviews can also be sorted based on the most helpful rating. When someone reads a review they can upvote if that review was insightful and by default sorting the reviews based on helpful rating will give a better picture of the company to the candidates. Lot of companies are adding fake reviews everyday just to hide genuine reviews and by adding this feature we could avoid that scam to an extent, at least I believe.

Great app needs better features and delete option. For a free app, this is amazing because it really helps with salary info so you can better negotiate pay. It is user friendly and the profile is easy to customize and quick. I also love the customizable category option for saving jobs you are interested in. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for the following: 1. Although the resume upload to your profile is better than most apps, it still has some glitches that need to be looked at. I have experienced several glitches with this app that are minor such as not being able to upload a profile picture or it misplacing parts of my xp or rerouting back to the beginning on salary estimates. 2. THERE NEEDS TO BE AN OPTION TO DELETE JOBS. I cannot stress this enough. It is tiring going back through and trying to remember what jobs I have and have not vetted. It would be useful to be able to delete jobs you are not interested in like on some other apps.

No Salary Data. For some bizarre reason, all salary information has disappeared from the application. If I pull up any company, click on the salaries tab, every position listed for that company is $0.00. Since this is the most important single data point in my job research, this bug has rendered the Glassdoor app completely useless to me. I recently updated to the latest version of the app, and believe that this error began with this version as I never saw this happen before.

I absolutely love working for AbsoluteCare. I love working for AbsoluteCare. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. My Director is amazing to work for. Management really cares about the employees. There is some growth within the company as well. They are very flexible as well. Some of the employees are working remotely. They company is concerned with covid and has allows some employees to work remotely depending on their specific position. Management is constantly sending out updates to inform the employees on the covid status. Great company to work for!!!!! I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Very glitchy since last update **FIX YOUR APP**. App is basically unusable as it only shows you maybe one or two reviews, a few salaries for jobs. You try to change the filters and no response in the app when it is clicked or whatever you’re looking at collapses.. When trying to view more than what is shown as it clearly states there are, the page just flickers to the current screen. The app pretty much shows a preview of the company or the screen you’re looking at just as you would when shopping for a clothes item on an app, but try to go any further and you get nothing.. The app is very finicky and you never know how it’s going to work. Please fix this!…

Kicked out for Usage Limits. Tomorrow I will have to delete my Glassdoor app because it will no longer work for me as My access will be revoked due to a (in my opinion) prejudiced rule they have that forces users to contribute to the site if they want to keep using it. If you do not write a review, provide a salary, share an interview or benefits in the first week of usage, they demote your status and most of the functionality is no longer accessible. This is going to happen to me because I cannot share my experiences since I have worked with small no-name company for years and do not have/cannot provide the info they are requesting. This is disappointing and I wish they realized they are alienating and upsetting many of their customers with this tactic.

Terrible! Can’t even contact support. This app used to be great but it rarely functions lately and now many times when I try to open the app it redirects to the website. I log in then click on open the app. It starts to open the app then redirects again back to the website. I even tried just opening the app directly and it redirected to the website. Other times it opens fine… ?? In addition, when I try to request help on the website by creating a help ticket the recaptcha isn’t loading properly so I can’t even see the images required for verification. It doesn’t show anything when I have my phone display on larger text/zoomed screen and only shows partial images with it on standard display. How am I supposed to submit a help ticket if the recaptcha doesn’t work?!

Great but could use additional features/tweaking. The app works well so far, and seems useful for job searching. Being able to save jobs and job searches is a nice feature. One issue is that when you look at a job, there’s no way to see the company’s salary or benefits information. Filtering jobs by star rating does not seem to work. I’d also like to have the ability to save companies in addition to jobs, so I can easily check their listings. I think there’s also potential for more of an RSS style feed here, where you have a newsfeed combining your job search results + listings from your saved companies.

Good app, but filters don’t work. I’ve used this app successfully for a few years now and have not had an issue with it. It’s an effective app and I’d recommend; the comments below are merely suggestions and my point of view based on recent experience. Anyway, a few months ago, I noticed the filters don’t work in the following scenarios: -Location filtering within a saved search -Location filtering within a company’s jobs listing (more applicable for larger companies with thousands of listings) -Applying 2-3 filters in a job search (e.g. location, salary, and minimum rating) When filtering for location, the list results seemingly return at random and are consistently inaccurate. Moreover, I’m not sure if this is on the roadmap, but I think it’d be cool if the app used predictive analytics to suggest jobs based on browsing history and saved searches. Perhaps that’s coming down the line. In all, positive experience with some minor frustrations. Thanks for reading.

Good but 2 issues. I was really enjoying using this app to look & apply for jobs, but I applied to a few jobs the other day on my computer & they aren’t showing up under applied jobs on the app. It’s the same account & I did use easy apply. I tried to message them 4 or 5 different times to ask what was wrong & how to fix it, but every single time the captcha thing kept timing out & then it would just refuse to send (I tried several different browsers). No email address listed so I have no idea how to contact them other than maybe here. I would give this app 5 stars if I could get this resolved.

Great employment opportunities app. Only one downside to the app is that when the copy/paste module replicates a post from some sites c++ you will get the occasional ampersand, dollar sign, pound icon return. This return error often leaves out the following paragraph which is key info for the job. Either that or it will list it like an item list which is very confusing. If I knew how the lines were structured I would suggest a new object directive for the module. You should get a coder to fix it if it’s possible some return errors are very hard to integrate in a system that is already in use but it would help the app and website.

Job listings & push notifications out of date. Glassdoor is good for looking up companies , reading reviews on them and the salary estimates. But it should have left the job listings portion to other more accurate websites like Indeed or else learn to emulate them. Glassdoor frequently sends me daily push notifications for jobs that were posted 6 months ago, which wastes my time and that of the company if I apply. After realizing this was happening I started using Glassdoor only for researching a company and using other websites for current listings. Too bad Glassdoor can’t get that part right since they offer some things that no other search does (that I know of) and I would rather not have to use multiple websites.

Can’t believe company ratings anymore. Glassdoor has become very corrupt over the last few years. I had an incredibly abusive experience with a company and write an honest review so people interviewing were more well equipped with information before putting their livelihood in the hands of this company. My review along with ALL the other honest negative reviews were removed, leaving them with only positive ones, giving a false picture of what it’s like to work there. I no longer use their app for company feedback or job applications. I don’t know what type of deal this company had with Glassdoor to get those reviews removed but it’s clear something shady is going on behind the scenes and people are getting wise to it.

Canvasser. Working at San Antonio Solar Pros has been a humbling experience. I have a sales background but these guys definitely helped me realize how much I didn’t know about sales and elevated my game completely. I’ll be loyal to the system they’ve implemented forever. There’s only opportunity to grow more and more from here on out. I’ve never believed in myself more now than ever and knowing my income increases constantly is outstanding. Is it hard work??? Yes...but anything else will be too so I’m glad it’s worth it. I’ve never made 6 figures and now I’m on track for multiple...I love these guys.

Buggy and keeps getting worse. So buggy. You’d think with so many people needing jobs that they’d do what it takes to improve this app. - Easy apply no longer works. I’ve been getting an error anytime I have tried to use it over the past few weeks - A lot of times when I open the app it says it’s down for maintenance - I had an issue with the app returning 0 search results for me and the help team just told me to delete and reinstall the app 😑 - I often filter results to just look at things posted in the last day. Now when I do that, every result in the lost shows 24 hours instead of the time it was actually posted. It used to have different values like 0, 5 hours etc so that I could easily see jobs that have JUST been posted as I like to try to get my applications in early. I wish I could also sort them in order of most recently posted but with all the other issues, that’s clearly too much to ask - As other people have said, it’s annoying when you have to leave the app for a bit and you come back to have the app completely refresh and you have to start your search all over

Can no longer in with my actual title, but…. I’ve used Glassdoor as my main job search app for years. I’m employed and have been since the first day I created an account. Several days ago, Glassdoor (the app) asked me to login with credentials, not just a Face ID. That request alone was odd. For days now the Glassdoor app has asked me to re-input my basic login information followed by my current job title and employer (unchanged from before) and I’ve continuously received an error message. Today I followed the same steps, but lied about my current occupation and instead stated I was the CEO of Glassdoor making $48,000/hour. I now have an all new accountant. Absolutely unhelpful and pointless, but at least I have the the title of CEO of the app I’d like to find a new job on.

Well considered job search application. A well thought out app /site that has become my default job search tool. I particularly like the number of things that can be used for screening, including location, review feedback, estimated salary ranges, and the ability to set alerts for new postings against multiple search criteria. The presentation layout is immensely superior to current LinkedIn approaches. My chief wish for improvement would be to be able to exclude certain keywords from results. For example, if you're a hardware specialist and don't want to look at a ton of posts asking for C++ skills.

Used to be great before the update. I don’t know what happened, but ever since the update with the fancy looking new UI, it’s been terrible. The salaries are now totally inaccurate (I know because it’s saying my current position at my company is paying $50k more than what I or any of my peers are currently making, even adjusting for cost of living in different areas; I wish I was making as much as it says lol). The app constantly has glitches and crashes, and the new UI is confusing to navigate. Why re-invent the wheel for no reason; it worked perfectly fine before trying to make it look fancy…

Doesn’t Help. While it doesn’t help to complain, if theres no feedback then there can be no resolution. I was never able to use any feature in this app besides browsing available jobs. Anytime I would attempt to save or apply for a job I would receive an error message. The same error message occurred when I attempted to leave feedback for a company. Yes, I attempted troubleshooting my device as well as your app multiple times and even tried reinstalling the app with no change to the out come. For these reasons, I will no longer be using this app and will recommend to anyone else who is job searching that this would not be a good fit as the service doesn’t work. Going forward, I do hope that you can get this issue resolved for your own benefit.

Glassdoor is good, but their App is terrible. It is so frustrating trying to apply for jobs on this app. It continually refreshes and kicks you out of the screen and takes you to home. It does not save the full search criteria so you have to keep putting in the filters over and over again. I will be in the middle of filling out an application and if I exit the screen even for a second it repopulates and goes back to home screen, so if you need to check a piece of info on your phone to add to your job application you will lose all the progress you have made and lose the job you found in the search. This app has been only a complete waste of time. You will not get very far with your applications if you try to submit on here. Save yourself the headache and just use their regular webpage.

New version is PAINFUL TO USE. Unfortunately, this app has gone down hill. Filters don’t work, job search is clunky, and salary search is BEYOND FRUSTRATING and buggy. The illogical integration of “bowls” is confusing at best. It interferes with the user experience by promoting interspersed bowl content in prominent places where users are not asking for it. And usually the content is seemingly unrelated to what I’m doing, which makes it even more nonsensical. I’m not opposed to the idea of having access to company bowl content in the right context, but as it currently stands it’s not enhancing the user experience, it’s degrading it. I’m not sure what steps were missed from strategy to execution - but recommend doing some additional user experience testing, market research and QA to get this app back on track.

What a Great Experience Using the Glassdoor App. Gabriel Tolbert, I’ve only used the app for a short period of time. I am already amazed as to what the app offers when being employed and the benefits it provides for current and future employment! Not all apps are created equal. The company I work for or with Sysazzle Inc is a great company in using this app for employment with Glassdoor. I hope to see even more changes and more improvements that make this experience easier and easier! Those from the company Sysazzle Inc has made my transition being hired and working there end clients a major success for me. Again I look for from Sysazzle Inc and there experience!

Scraping site. Indeed acquired glassdoor. Glassdoor is just a scraping site. The reviews are bogus, and their community guidelines essentially let them pick and choose no rhyme or reason, which reviews are to be posted and which are not. A very dishonest Low integrity site that only hurts employers and employees. They don’t have original jobs, they steal jobs from all the other jobsites and put them on their site. Have you ever noticed when you click on something in Glassdoor it brings you to indeed or monster or some other career site. It steals and it scams it’s useless. And then you want employers to pay to get reviews down, so unethical. Boycott glassdoor people, use your brain, because they are counting on you not to. I Wonder if this review is going to be rejected in one second, oh wait, Apple respects the first amendment and doesn’t censor people.... how refreshing.
