Very Convenient Card Scanner. For $0.99, it's a great card scanner! It integrates easily into my Zoho CRM. I just got back from a trade show with many new contacts to add - this will save me a lot of time.

Soho card reader. This is a great product for me because it's easy to get all the business cards into the database.

Awesome!!. I was searching for a business card scanner app.. I decided to google to see if Zoho had a business card scanner app since this is my companies CRM and I found it, and it is great!

Can’t switch ZOHO CRM Accounts. I recall changing which of my two Zoho CRM acts card scanner writes to, but now I cannot find any means to do so. I don’t work with the same two companies as I did several months ago. So any cards scanned now, still go into other account that I don’t use. Several emails to soho about this issue got me no response. There is no setting in mobile app to change Zoho CRM destination file, or to change from using one if my two email identities to the one relevant to my desired Zoho CRM Acct. I would give a 5 stars if this issue gets resolved. Support for card scanner seems missing.

Disappointing ZOHO Scanner review. It's coupled to ZOHO but has the worst recognition of any OCR (card or other) I've used in years! You scan and then you HAVE to edit EVERYTHING! Really disappointing!!!! Don't spend the money unless you're really far behind entering cards and then only expect minimal help from this.

Doesn't work. Just downloaded the app and tried scanning two basic cards and did not pick up any information other than that the picture.

Great app. Zoho integration works I think like most things user error is the issue with most complaints. You need to customize your fields. Not just click click click

Still needs alot of work. I tried to scan 20 different cards and not one of them scanned correctly. I understand the OCR technology is not perfect but I am sure a 0% accuracy rate can be improved upon. Unfortunately, it is quicker for me to manually enter the data.

Card scanner app. Good idea but has lockup issues on iPhone 6. It locks up on me when I am correcting the card information it has incorrectly interpreted when it scanned a card. I wind up having to shut the app down and rescan the card, starting back at the beginning. Frustrating is being polite. Deciding if I want to remove it and ask for money back. Could the problem be on the Zoho side? Wouldn't surprise me.

Needs major work - do NOT purchase this version (3/6/17). Wish they actually shows the ratings before I purchased this. As it is, I purchased it as an accessory to my Zoho module and quickly found that the app did not read the cards clearly - I had to manually correct most fields.

OCR needs work. Love Zoho, however this app is not quite ready for prime time. The OCR reader unfortunately has so many errors, it's hard to scan without having to edit. I have tried multiple backgrounds, flash, no flash etc. Love the idea though, would like to see it fixed.

WON’T UPLOAD. The point of the app is to scan the business card of the person I want in Zoho. This app scans the card, but doesn’t upload it to Zoho, which defeats the whole purpose of having it. FIX IT, and I’ll adjust my rating.

Does not work. Every time I haves tried to use this it either doesn’t work, or says “loading contact details” for several minutes then crashes. Using on iPhone 8 Plus. I do not recommend this app.

Not worth $4.99. Looks like ZOHO has a long way to go with this App. Phone # formatting is "non-existent," no notes/description capture possible & if adding to leads there is no way to choose "status" that triggers some of my workflow automations. Also, i have to edit most cards can info before submit. Anyone know how to get you money back?

Terrible Scanner. Will not scan the outer edges of most business cards. You will get a partial scan of the card has a predominant color other than white.

Dusty810 is LYING. This app doesn’t link to Zoho crm perfectly. It links to Zoho CRM terribly. It doesn’t upload the card you scanned to ZC, creates company name as an account, When Zoho crm accounts are companies you do business with, not anyone you just met. Doesn’t allow you to link yourCRM fields to the scanner. Amazing how backwards Zoho teams work and how disjointed their inter-team communications are. Zoho CRM clearly understands that you need fields in your leads and contacts that match the way you do business. Yet somehow, CardScanner team thinks you ought to use whatever field they provide, which most times, since they are in India, doesn’t work with the way Americans do business, or make any sense at all. Using card scanner takes forever bc you have to scan and fix each card one at a time. Here’s what needs to improve: 1. MASS SCAN CARDS, then pull up screen to fix in a list view 2. Connect to CRM custom fields already set up in CRM. Allow this to be done in settings 3. Allow mass updates of all fields just like in crm 4. Don’t automatically upload to CRM so unclean data isn’t uploaded bf cleaning is done. Instead, in list view page, place link to upload to CRM 5. Improve OCR recognition to reduce necessary cleaning

Not perfect but good. Does not link the correct info 100% of the time, but it's convenient!

Hard closes after fixing fields. I use this app to update ZOHO and Google contacts. The time it saves me entering the information into Soho directly as minimal. The app hard closes multiple times after uploading the picture of a business card or screenshot of a contact from another app. The time I spend re-manually typing the information in field step were not scanned correctly. The first time, I’m better off to load the information direct into each app. This app has more bugs that need addressed immediately.

Good start…. This simple little apple integrates well with Zoho CRM, but could use more features like the ability to select lead source.

This is awesome!. We use Zoho and it is seemless! Makes going to conferences even less of a chore.

Serious scanning bugs. This has serious scanning problems. About one-third of cards scanned end up scanned upside down, even when the cards is right side up, and so the fields don’t automatically populate. When I try to cancel and rescan, it still scans upside down. Occasionally the app automatically flips the card right side up after a second or two, but the fields don’t populate. There is no ability to tell the app to flip the scan right side up and have it try again to populate the fields. This seems like an obvious feature, and a big miss. These are serious scanning errors. I can’t believe Zoho would release such a poor product that barely works. I’ve got to find something else that don’t drive me crazy.

Good in theory - poor in practice. I wish the app worked well. The main problems are: - has difficulty scanning well even in good light - does poor job of reading text correctly - the app crashes frequently (and doesn’t auto save so u have to enter the lead all over again)

Better than nothing. Let's be honest: this app is trying to solve a tough problem, namely doing OCR and business analysis on a bunch of pixels (the iphone photo of the card). The only other app I have used that is comparable is Evernote Hello. (I am sure there are many more, but I only know these two, because I wanted an app specific for the underlying web app, Evernote, or in this case, ZOHO CRM). The biggest plus for this app is that all details, including a JPG attachment with the actual photo of the card, go into the right place in ZOHO CRM. That by itself can save me some work. Is the accuracy where I would it to be? Probably not. But it does work reasonably well if the card is white and the text is not obscured by colored backgrounds etc. It takes several seconds to process a picture, and probably half a minute to verify all the info is correct (I do that straight in ZOHO). I would like it if the app checked if it finds the person on LinkedIn, similar to what Evernote Hello does.

Exceeds expectations. I have used a number of card scanner applications and this has proven to be the best. There are always business cards that, in an attempt to be artsy and stand out, have formats that mess with the app but outside of those it does great. The integration with ZOHO is wonderful.

Terrible app. How do I get my money back? I tried it on several standard business cards received error twice on first card and finally got it in. The app didn't enter any address info and had other errors on the entry. The app never took the second card from the same company. Not ready for prime time, save your $$$ skip this app.

Doesn’t work. Previous versions used to work quote well, but after updating to the latest version, the scanner gets stuck and I get a message “Looking for card edges”... it never finds the edges, even in excellent conditions where other scanning apps work perfectly. I managed to get one card scanned recently, after mutiple attempts, and it didn’t synch with Zoho, although all conditions to synch were fulfilled. ZOHO: get your act together, or remove the app from the App Store.

Best Card Scanning App. I receive hundreds of business cards from trade shows and events. I use this app to scan my business contacts and it links perfectly to my Zoho CRM. Of course, at times it may mis-read a card, but I have found this app to be far superior to that of Neat, WorldCard, and some other products that I have used - not to mention it's kind of a one-stop-shop. I do wish there were a little bit more customization options available, but for now, I am completely satisfied!

Crashes!!! Use Older Version. Was using previous version and worked great in synching to ZOHO. Was prompted to upgrade and now it's useless because it does not synch. Crashes even in adjusting settings. Don't upgrade until it is fixed!

Doesn't work. First card was a jumbled mess. A couple of fields came in but most were gibberish. To make matters worse the all thought the company name have some crazy characters in it like

Doesn’t recognize text well. Has errors on nearly every business card scan that I need to manually fix. Looking for another option.

Does the Job. The best thing about this app is that it automatically puts data into my phone contact file. And it uploads to a CRM I don't use. I wish it read cards more accurately but, of all the apps I've used, I'm happiest and less annoyed with this one!

Wow it works so well I don’t know what to say. I was super skeptical at first but when I started to use it I was pleased to see the result. It is more accurate than any of the business card scanner apps I’ve tried(only one paid for). Additionally this one was able to very easily make zoho contacts out of the business cards which is a huge bonus. Good job

Good start. Thanks for this. It is simple but a good start. I would suggest adding a 'copied text' feature. Also found an issue where the photos are inaccessible after I click access photos. Need to be able to unlock access. Please add new features we ask for. Thanks again.

Simple, efficient and useful. Mostly accurate with hopes it will only improve in time. Love the ability to update to multiple services at once (Zoho, Google, etc.). Hoping they will add ability to scan directly to iPhone (Apple iCloud) contacts.

Easy,Simple & FREE. I have used this app for about 3yrs intermittent ly now for none business purposes. Had very little problems with it that a phone reset didn't fix. So far I have scanned a few dozen business cards into my contacts on 2 different iPhones without problems, which says alot considering how Apple loves to interfere with things they can't directly OVER Profit from themselves! Hope you guys keep this FREE & SIMPLE so we can continue seeking you out. Thank You!

Great App for the Sales and Account Executive. Overall it can add the contact to many different locations and is extremely efficient, fast, and accurate for the most part. Very impressed. Wasn’t expecting it to be high functioning, and it over-delivered.

Every phone number as Work?. This app needs to differentiate the type of phone number the OCR recognizes -mobile, work, fax, etc.-. Reading all phone numbers as “work”, not been able to identify the type of contact number and delaying fixing this issue, will compromise your app success. It requires also proper sync with all the fields in the Zoho CRM platform.

Great Tool for salesman. Saves me tons of time in updating contacts and trying to keep track of little pieces of paper. Once source solution for contact management. Well done zoho!

Great Scanning took. Quick and easy

It's ok app compare to other similar. Compare to other card scanner. This zoho card app is just ok. Can not tap and text in app. Can not tap and navigate address. Can not select customer to certain groups. Less scan accurate. The only reason I use this because I use zoho CRM. Which connect both. Hopefully the developers can see my feedback and get improve

Sales Representative. For most standard business cards, this captures names, job titles, company name, phone number, email, etc. perfectly. Sometimes if a business card has cursive, or other your regular fonts, it may have trouble, but so does every card scanner app. This app is definitely worth $.99.I collect a lot of business cards my job, and the saves me a lot of time. I had one problem syncing it to my CRM and got immediate support without having to pay any fee. That is fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

Improvements Needed. 2 stars ONLY because it merges with Zoho contact easily. Card reader option is the worse of the 4 apps I tried. 9 out of 10 cards, it doesn't read a single line correctly and you'll have to delete it all and manually enter the information. Scanning/reading needs major improvements. If it didn't sync to Zoho, I'd kept using other apps.

Update has made it stop working. This used to work just ok and I would use it regularly. But now with the update the app freezes when you try to edit any of the info after you have scanned the card but not saved it yet.

Needs work. App makes loading contacts a lot easier by scanning and uploading from your phone. However, the scan does not accommodate a lot of business card formats. This takes away the convince. Spent a lot of time fixing scan errors. Tools 20 mins to scan 3 cards and none of which scanned accurately. Took a lot of massaging of the data and plenty retakes.

Simple and works. Easy to use, saves me tons of time, Take a snap of a biz card, change around any odd fields, dictate my Notes and Tasks, UPLOAD. Boom: into Zoho CRM with notes, added a task, and added to my contact manager.

Works well. Captures phone numbers well and pretty accurate on email addresses. Upload to CRM is quick 5-10 seconds. This software is really nice thanks Zoho.

Great experience to use. I particularly like the way the image of the individual area of card appears at the top when you go to edit each field; not that it is necessary to do so most of the time. The reader gets it mostly right even with weirdly designed cards.

CRM Consultant. Coming from IT background people like us always have high expectation. This card scanner app is pretty good. Not only it is simple to use but also integrates with Zoho CRM without any hassle. I can see great usage for me and my clients even. Happy to recommend.

Frustrating!. Crashes every few card (when I'm half way through editing...) It's also very slow with no multi save option, making uploading a lot of cards very time consuming. Upload to Zoho is beneficial.... but I've gotta find a better solution before I break something!

The Best. I used this app only for 5 cards and I already love it. What was I doing before??? Works very well as long as the card is clear. You can tell which cards are effective it'll pick up anything. I had a hard time to read a card and it picked up nothing. So it only makes sense the software can't see it as much as I can't see it. (FYI in case anyone wonders I'm not old... Only 40). LOL

Time saver!. Does a pretty good job of scanning and recognizing the names, addresses etc. Easy to edit - a real time saver when prospecting. And Siri and integration too.

Crash while connecting to zoho. This version doesn't allow to store the data in zoho - simply crashing

Not working. I just downloaded this app and it scanned the card relatively accurately however when I hit save the program shuts down.

Awful - doesn't work. Information came through with lots of typos. I had to re-type most of it. Then couldn't get data to upload to Zoho. Totally useless.

Not working at all. Does not recognize anything , no phone no name no address , every thing is wrong , I tried few card but no result

Barely Works. Barely works, frequently crashes. No way to scan a contact card to an existing customer. Cumbersome data entry. CamCard works much better. Can't load info to Outlook.

Shuts down when you save. Absolutely doesn't work. After repeated attempts every time I try to save the app shuts down and does not upload the contact information into zoho.
