Don’t write it off yet. I really enjoy the compliments I get on my edits with this program. I have taken photos I have written off into this app and really made some nice works of art. Thank you for a truly wonderful app.

Filters don’t compliment photos well. You really can’t use these on portraits. Landscapes photos maybe for an abstract look. Not all filters will work in all photos or I should say they won’t compliment the subject matter. I think these filters are more for fun and abstract looks. Not what I’m looking for.

A+ 5⭐️🏆🎨. Just started using this app and love it! The transition from photo to piece of art is fantastic! Can’t wait to see how they print out on multimedia paper.

Textures. I would very much like if the subject in picture could remain in textured. I photography flowers and wildlife mainly and would really like if we could have control over what our textured. Thank you !

First photo app I ever tried!. It's been a couple years now and I still am intrigued by the effects. I've had two arts shows since I started using Distressed FX.

Great app!. This app is easy to use for people new to photo editing and has many options.

Packets. I would give it a five star if the packets I bought from the iPhone also transfer to my iPad. I don't want to pay twice for the same thing. Other than that, it's a fun app.

Fun app to tweak photos - Artsy and textural. Lots of variations and even custom touches from secondary photos make this a fun and interesting way to tweak your photos and turn them into a work of art, worthy of printing or sharing. Lots of textures to choose from. Happy about the higher resolution.

Easy to use effects. Distressed FX has some very interesting textures to add to your photos & some great birds for the sky! It’s also a very user friendly app.

Gorgeous filters!. Lots to play around with. If I edited photos a lot, I think I would definitely buy the pro version for the extra filters and to support. Some gorgeous filters are included!

Wonderful textures and fx. This is one of my favorite apps for texturizing and filtering. Love the stacking ability. It's simply wonderful and easy to use. Ok but not much if you don’t buy “packs”. Nice effects but doesn’t add much to native iOS editing or free apps unless you purchase in-app packs. They may or may not be worth it but at a buck each it doesn’t seem worth it unless you really need that effect.

Love the update!!. Fun, atmospheric app. Thanks for the improvement n the update in resolution. I would like to see some improvements in this app. As the effects are nice, the way in which you have to choose between packs is not. It’s quite cumbersome. I have several packs & the way in which I can pick them is annoying. Please make this app more user friendly.

My go to app. Such a versatile app! You can mix so many different effects together and come up with some amazing art!

Great app. I like going to Distressed fx for some nice, quick edits to add a little extra pop to my photos! It doesn't do everything, but what it gives a good bang for the buck!

Create Something Special. I have been using this application for many years since 1.0 and we have an update to it now which has been long in the waiting but very worth it! This is an app I will always use - The opportunity for texture combination is very good I love it!

Help. After update some of my filters disappeared. Fx wants me to purchase again ! On bottom roll it only shows the name.. NO FILTERS ! Seems I have constant problems with this app ! I have purchased quite a feee filters . So disappointed. Every time I try and restore.., it won’t ! Wants me to buy again. When I try and restore filters I bought, it says error downloading .

Perfect. Some of the best filters and overlays I’ve ever used. Natural looking and always seems to accentuate instead of taking over. Will be keeping this one. Great work.

No individual control. The textures and filters are beautiful but there’s no individual control as in you can’t brush sections on and off It has so adjustments but it adjusts the filters and textures as a whole ...I would give it 5stars if it had the individual brush control , I would even consider purchasing the Plus edition but this stopped me .

My Double-Down Go-To App for Atmosphere. I use this app relentlessly in achieving the perfect atmospheric ambiance in my art pieces. Thoughtfully designed for users to filter and tweak each effect with excellent color blends. Oh and the birds! I use them over and over without the effect looking cookie-cutterish. Thank you for maintaining and upgrading the effects! I tip my art hat to you gratefully!

First Day.... I just started playing with this. I like the included filters so far, but I will likely buy a couple extras. Bottom line is, I’m still mourning the loss of “Pic Grunger” - a photo distressing app that did not survive the upgrade to iOS11. I used Pic Grunger’s distressing filters on backgrounds in my layouts for years but it looks like this will fill that need and much more as long as the res is high enough when I import to Adobe. We’ll see...

Enjoying. Wish there were more options to choose from is all it’s fun !!

Spring OUT from COVID 19.. I’ve only tried this editing app a couple of times. The way it makes my photos more interesting is a welcoming feature.

Fabulous Photo Editing.. Friendly service, new filters.

Exactly what I was looking for. At 99 cents, you get so many textures/filters to layer your photo. They are high quality textures/filters that allow you to adjust the blend, lighting, and color of the texture/filter. The options to choose from vary greatly and this app surely has a style for you. The layout is so easy and didn’t require a tutorial. I highly recommend.

Love This App.....but.... I originally downloaded on my phone and loved it... Then downloaded on my IPad...... But I had made a lot of in-app purchases.....a lot. They did not come over to my IPAD. Otherwise....i would have given it five stars..... But I can't re-purchase all those add-on apps.

Great. Works and looks great. After purchasing for 99cents there were a few extra filters to buy altogether I spent 4.00 but I feel it’s worth it. I would like to see a feature that would allow you to paint or erase parts of the filter.

Simple fun. This app is fun to play with although a bit limited in customization. Can’t flip the overlay directions. Not a lot of textures available per $.99 pack.

Exactly What I Wanted. This app is exactly what I was looking for; the grunge textures are perfect and the app is super fast. Also, a developer still sells a 99¢ app? Amazing, especially in this age of the horrible subscription model. Thank you!

Distressed FX is a great art editing app.. I am a digital artist and use Distressed FX every time I edit. With the variety of packs and the beautiful overlays and textures this is always a useful and easy app to give a strong art edit. So happy to see a new pack as well.

Cool app. I encourage mobile artists who want to take their work to the next level to check out the distressed filters available here.

App is buggy under iOS 11 & iPad Pro. Under iOS 10.x selecting a different pack (either texture or overlay) and then close pack picker window would display/load the new pack filters at the bottom of screen. — Under iOS 11.x selecting a different pack does not load the pack, the applicable bottom row of the screen still displays the current pack filters! New filters do not display until one filter box is clicked on the row that was switched, then the new pack filter will display. Other issues: the row that was switched in some situations displays two switch pack boxes, as well as other blank boxes with labels. ie. extra icons. Additional notes: The same pack picker window being used when “switch pack” is being clicked from either overlay or texture rows confuses kids and the older generations, that confusion is compounded when the packs do not load correctly.

Terrific. Easy to use, lots of variety, top quality effects, some really beautiful possibilities for any photo. Plenty of great choices in the app, but I’ll be buying the in-app packs as well. This is a fine app, well worth using a lot.

Enjoyable!. Still one of the best!!! I thoroughly enjoy using this app. May not be as sophisticated as some, but what it does, it does well. I continue to enjoy this app after years of use. I especially like the easy ability to add custom textures to my photos. It has improved greatly, in my opinion, over the years.

Simply Awesome!!. This is one of the best apps you can purchase that will allow you to create fabulous art. There’s so many options to release and free your creativity. Customer support is almost instant. It’s rare to find an app and such friendly and helpful customer support at the same time. Awesome. I’ve created tons of photos giving it that worn out old fashioned photo. It’s fun and creative app. It’s easy to use even if you’ve never used it before.

This app is a lot of fun!. I’ve edited a lot of photos with this and I really enjoy it. One of the best things I’ve done with it is I’ve created several (there were 24 at last count!) totally different ‘paintings’ using the ‘test’ image that lets you preview the different effects! It’s a little shack on a little plot of prairie land with a huge sky and you can change it into anything you want! (Of course I’ve used other apps to add other effects but the end results have been fabulous!!) You can be tempted to overuse it but I do like the overall improvement to certain photos

Really Cool App, But.... I really like this App. First, it’s very easy to use and not cumbersome to me. The textures, birds, etc. are lovely. My only two issues with the App at this time are that the birds can only be reduced to a certain size. For many of my landscape photos, the smallest reduction is still too big and the birds don’t “fit in” with the landscape. Second, it would be great if there was a Preview option or rather, a Before and After option that many photo apps have. I find myself having to go all the way back to “None” to see the difference. Otherwise, a lovely App and also, very grateful for the recent Free Dreamy Birds pack. Thank you!

Great App. Great app and so fun to use. Love the textures and I have been able to create some really nice art based on my photography. Would love to be able to remove the effect though via a brush like tool with an opacity setting maybe so I can remove the effect from certain areas of the image.

Great to add to your textures library. Doesn't import smaller photos though - it sits weirdly when imported so I have to enlarge it and then import it.

Good but needs an update. Good filters and textures, however the slider controls are not refined enough for subtle variation on a phone interface, plus it badly needs a zoom to see the effects in detail.

Distressed FX Rocks. I'm really enjoying the awesome variety of effects I can get with this app. So far my only grumble would be the lack of adjustment on the size of the vignette effect😊

Very good but a little old. Very good textures but lacks native iPhone 6 resolution and other features you'd expect from more modern apps.

Purchased some other pack. Hi admin I just bought a new iPhone but for whatever reason not allowing me all the packs I purchased from my old phone . It requires me to buy again . Please reply .

Love the effect!. Love the effect of these gorgeous textures on photos as well as the filters to use in combination with them but ESPECIALLY love all the birds! ;) I was a big fan of the original version of Distressed FX and this version is a huge upgrade! A couple things that could really improve it would be 1) the ability to mask off the effects in certain areas of a photo and 2) the ability to adjust the saturation, contrast and brightness of the filters and textures rather than the photo behind them.

Usefull tool. I use dozens of photo apps as an illustrator and find this app great for adding texture and punch

Love this app. Very well made saves without degradation of quality what you see on the screen after editing is exactly what saves. Is anybody reading this? Who knows anything, knows that that's not always the case.I keep checking back for the premium version because I'd like to buy it for $20. US isn't nothing and quite frankly I just wish it was cheaper for 14 filters so until it does become cheaper I'll stick with the free because I can do most things with that.

Useful app. I find this app very handy for many of my digital images and use it often. There are a couple things I would like to see added if you can do that: 1/ layering capability, so that I can use more than one effect at a time without having to save and import again. 2/ the ability to re-size trees and birds. On my iPhone I can re-size a little bit but not at all on my iPad Pro. I had a look at your new Plus version and there is no advantage for me. I already have all the bundles. You ought to adjust price for those of us who already have those components.

Original. I like the style of this app, the art I've created with Distressed is unique and interesting. I love how it now has the trees to overlay on my photos.

Art worthy. It is rare to find textures and affects that do not look cliche wallpaper like layers but this distressed app is excellent and very useful indeed.
