Great app with an annoying issue. I have been a Gaana Plus user for quite sometime now and I’m absolutely in love with this app. I would have rated this app a solid 5 but have reduced a point due to one annoying issue. If I hit the search button while streaming a track, some random promotional video starts playing in the search screen which even interrupts the current track being streamed. This prevents me from searching for a track during streaming. I have tried disabling the Video Autoplay in Settings but it didn’t resolve the issue. If not for this annoying bug, it’s a joy to use this app.

Saved playlists doesn’t load. I like this app. It has a good collection. I am a paid subscriber and I was disappointed with how sometimes all of a sudden, the playlists fail to load. It happened a couple of times and it reset itself, but recently I have been having this issue where all my playlists suddenly stopped populating. It is very frustrating to recreate all of the playlists. I hope the app developers are take care of this issue immediately. If it’s now fixed, there is no reason why I should be using this app.

Serious concerns. Hi i am a paid subscriber of this app. The way you guys promote hot shots to the client it is less like a feature more like a tiktok copycat. Please give paid users at least a option to disable this feature. It is very annoying when first time loading this app hotshot is benign highlights. Specially when i paid for the subscription. I really dislike this feature. I subscribed to listen music. Not to consume tiktok copycat content. Please take a look at this. You guys did a good job of playing user created content when the music is playing. I like this feature. Please disable this hot shots crap. It will lose your reputation. This app is tracking my location in background with no reason it is a serious violation of privacy. Thank you.

Can never delete a sing from queue. At times the recently played area is missing from the homepage. I also can NEVER remove a song from my queue..adding it to the end doesn’t work either. I wish it also “fell” off my queue when new songs are played. There should be an option that it removes itself if it’s at the end one a song is being played because there must be a reason why the user is deciding to put it at the bottom of their list. Consistent recently played to show up Make the remove option work!!

music and the quality is good but the app sometimes doesn’t work the way it should be. The suggestions in the app according to the music you listen are good, but there is a problem with the app sometimes that it stops at the advertisement and doesn’t play further . sometimes it also doesn’t play the next song. closing and reopening the app does the work but it is so frustrating that the problem still continues. i looked in the store if there is any updated version, i also uninstalled and reinstalled the app again, but the problem still exists 😑😑. I loved the app so much before this. I am afraid i should use any other music app if this still goes on.

A Symphony of Frustration with Gaana App's Subscription Disaster. I wish there was a rating lower than one star because my experience with Gaana App has been a nightmare. I initially chose the yearly subscription, expecting a smooth musical journey. However, my account remained stuck as a 'free member,' despite my efforts to resolve the issue with support. They did not respond to my requests for assistance, leaving me frustrated and ignored. In an attempt to salvage the situation, I subscribed for a monthly membership, hoping it would fix the problem. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again - my money disappeared and my account still showed as free. Now, I am left without a subscription, without music, and without any customer service. It's disappointing that a music app meant to bring joy has instead caused frustration and disappointment. To those considering Gaana App, take this as a warning. Their subscription service will only drain your money and their support team will ignore your pleas for help. Proceed at your own risk and be prepared for more frustration.

Very buggy most of the time. No way to submit feedback either on the app’s chat or on App Store where a contact email is missing. Gaana doesn’t work correctly on Apple CarPlay. Music plays fine when controlled from phone. I also see album art and play controls on the split screen widget. But when the app is launched, it just shows blank screen. This is with the most recent version of iOS and Gaana. Mind you, I restarted both the iPhone and the car multiple times and reinstalled the app without any success. The iOS app too doesn’t display My Library and downloads sometimes. Only way to get to your downloads: download a song, which when done will show you a notification that you can click to go to downloads.

Chrome cast Support. The newest iOS version is supposed to have long awaited support for Chrome cast. Thanks. However, it has bugs. The casted songs are playing at a super low speed/pitch and sound as if some ghost is singing. Would appreciate if this could be fixed ASAP. I have been waiting for this support for a long time. A day later: It works now. Thank you gaana for responding to our requests to fix this issue ASAP. It is so nice to see casting working.

:(. I have noticed other reviews that are similar. For iOS/iPhone users you cannot listen to music without unlocking your phone and clicking the “next” button. I really enjoy having my songs on repeat and I cannot do that without having to unlock my phone and having to press the back button. I had to stop using Gaana becoz of this :( **Also, another thing I noticed about Gaana is that they tend to replay old music that you listen to whether you like the songs or not, is there way for the app not to do this?** I really love Gaana app tho and would love to continue to see improvements to the app❤️

Has some issues. Having issues regarding music playing when app is not on screen. It used to be that it would play in background too but this randomly stops working for me now. Also the UI isn’t great, it’s kind of hard to navigate and there’s just so much stuff to process on the screen it becomes complicated to use, there must be a way to simplify all of it. Otherwise music, quality and features of the app are nice. I’m

Fix the bug please. The app used run better. With the latest version, it plays one or two songs and then closes off itself. Requires then unlocking the phone and tapping on the next song in the queue to play. When it stops playing the song, it does not even leave the play module on the screen that allows play without unlocking the phone. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG ASAP.

Deleted App. Used this app for years because they had a great music selection. I didn’t mind listening to ads in the middle of streaming because they have to make money some how. Now though, they refuse to play any music until you watch an ad with the app open once every 30 min. I was willing to put up with that too, until it started forcing me to watch an ad after only 5 or 10 minutes of streaming claiming that I had used up all 30 minutes already. On top of that, I have to listen to an ad every other song while streaming. What’s the point of an app where all I do is look at, or listen to, commercials? If this is your way of forcing people to buy your premium access, not only did you not get that, you are no longer going to receive you ad revenue from irritated listeners like myself. There are so many options out there, do not use this app.

App is broken. Playlists don’t work. I have been using this service for 3 years & has been happy with it. But for last two months, the App is behaving strangely. My playlists are empty, their curated playlists show one or two songs. Search shows strange selections for the artists. I have sent two help requests in the last week. No reply whatsoever. Their chat says send email. I feel the company has gone downhill in some way but still collecting subscription fees. Mine just renewed last week. I will cancel my renewal if service is not resolved.

Too Many Ads Ruin the Music Experience. I downloaded the Gaana app hoping to enjoy its large collection of songs from different genres and languages. However, I was very disappointed by the excessive and annoying ads that interrupted every song. The ads were long, loud, and irrelevant, and they completely ruined my mood and flow. I understand that ads are necessary to support a free app, but the current frequency and duration are unacceptable and unbearable. I suggest that the developers find a better way to balance their revenue and the user's satisfaction, such as offering a reasonable premium subscription, reducing the number of ads, or allowing users to skip or mute ads. Otherwise, I will have to uninstall the app and look for other options.

Gaana app keeps on crashing oniPhone 12 Pro. Hello Gaana Team, I am Gaana+ user for quite some time. App keeps on crashing every time I buy new iPhone. While the phone is locked and Gaana playing songs, all of sudden it will crash. Also, I have created one of my favorite playlists. I was under the impression that all my songs are being added to that playlist, I was also getting Gaana pop-up stating the song was successfully added to the playlist. Over year later, I found only 99 songs when I went to review the playlist. Which should have been twice that number at least. Other features are good but the core features like playing songs and playlists are the core features. And they should work flawlessly Also, for gaana plus yearly membership paying users, there should be FLAC or other lossless formats!! Hope Gaana team will be able to get the core functionality working in order and lossless format!! Thanks

Good app but annoying. I have been using this app for a long time for listening Bollywood songs, but recently I decided to purchase .99¢ ad free version. The experience without ads is amazing except one thing. Whenever I try to listen to songs or open the app I get ad to buy ganaa plus. I don’t understand why ganna is trying to push their product when I have already paid for no ads. I do not require downloading songs so the other tiers are useless to me. Please fix it and I can rate again with a better review.

Disappointed with App. I used to love Gaana music. I could create Playlists, and listen to all the songs I liked. But recently, ever since I subscribed to Gaana Plus, everything has gone haywire. 1. I have lost songs in my Playlists that I had collected over a period of time. I Sent an email to Gaana but did not get a response. You cannot chat with anyone at Gaana either. 2. Now when I search for famous songs, I get a listing of singers I have not heard of. I was not prepared to continue with this poor customer service and have exited the subscription.

Extremely Disappointed with Gaana App's Inefficiency. I recently had the unfortunate experience of using the Gaana app, and I must say, it was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing encounter. From the moment I installed the app, I encountered numerous issues that hindered my overall music streaming experience. First and foremost, the search option in Gaana app is abysmal. It simply does not deliver the results you're looking for. Whether I tried searching for popular songs, specific artists, or even genres, the app consistently failed to provide accurate and relevant results. It's incredibly frustrating when you have a particular song in mind, only to find that the search function is completely unreliable. Overall, I cannot recommend the Gaana app based on my experience. The poor search functionality & technical issues make it a highly frustrating and unreliable platform for music streaming. I strongly suggest exploring alternative music apps that prioritize user satisfaction and provide a seamless listening experience.

It was perfect until it was not!. I had subscribed to Gaana for over 10 years or even longer and last year your updates destroyed my trust in your platform and app.. Here is why.. I am not sure exactly when but I suspect it was after an App update, all my playlists got emptied out!!! The playlist names exist but none of the songs I had mapped to it over many years and many different occasions such as Birthday celebration lists which had nostalgic emotions attached were completely destroyed by your genius!! On top of that some of the features that I used in the past kept disappearing.. such as the time out feature which allows you to play for a set time at bedtime. Now I am not renewing my subscription this month after over a decade and I am moving to a rival!!!!! Guys, have a cohesive and consistent design that’s not so erratic and I “might” return!

Was good, but now useless. If there’s one thing a music app should do flawlessly is to keep playing music in the background. Guess what, this app does not do it. It’ll play 1 song and then just stop playing other songs in the queue. I am a free user but really I don’t think paying them is going to fix this bug. It has good songs but I have stopped using this app because this blatantly fundamental bug. I finally got around to writing this review but this bug has been around for at least over a month now. Not sure how the product and engineering team is even sleeping when such a basic issue is open (or maybe the company is winding down?) If it helps, I’m on iPhone 6s, iOS 12.3.1, Gaana v8.9.0 And I do most of the listening when connected to car Bluetooth.

App support and customer support. App support and customer support is extremely bad. They just do not want to work. My issue was quite simple. App logged me out, I do not why. When tried logging back it wouldn’t let me using my phone number. Explained everything to support. But nothing. Then tried using email, but didn’t get any link through email either. Gana anyways doesn’t have a great song selection. Same old songs keep repeating. With such bad service to top it, who will like to use this app. I am so glad that I didn’t take paid subscription. Their service and app is not worth it.

Broken Cast function. This app has totally broken the cast to a chromecast function. Start casting to a Chromecast, go out of the app to do something like check mail and then come back to the app the music stops completely or stops for a few seconds and then comes back on. Such a weird bug ... no other music app has such a silly bug. Fix it guys or I will find something else, just because I want to check the next song in playlist or the singers name music should not stop. Also doesn’t have a ready menu to stream to an Apple TV have to go to control central to select the AppleTv to stream to. Really bad user design and buggy

Few bugs that needs fix but overall Good!. Guys i have been using Gaana premium since last 3 years. When i say there is a bug then it does exist. So here it goes, there are multiple songs that get queued up for download but never get downloaded these are all duplicates. There is one that shows downloaded but also that is queued up and not downloaded. It wont ever get downloaded. So when i am offline the so g wont play even though there is a duplicate that is already fully downloaded. Please fix this issue. By the way the new Ui is nice. Good job UI team.

App is not working correctly. I have used it for 2 years. I subscribed to gaana plus a year ago, i am still active Gaana plus subscriber but recently had to delete the app and i downloaded it again. Now i try to log in with my phone number but i get invalid messages. I try reaching out to customer service via email since thats the only option but no one responded. I have gaana plus but cant use it since app is not letting me log in. I feel like i wasted my money. Free version have too many Ads and pretty annoying to listen to music on it now.

Love the App, but, it is broken recently. I have been enjoying this app from long time. It’s an awesome app. But, recent updates have broken it. After playing a song, it doesn’t continue to the next song. It gets stuck and then you have to unlock the phone to see that it’s stuck on an ad. It doesn’t play the ad either, just shows black screen. I have to minimize the app and open it then the ad goes away and then hit play to play the next song. That’s really bad experience. Also, there are no controls on the lock screen now.

Great app, how to delete song from playlist. Gaana is a great app, i use it all the time. Its is uptodate, has the latest songs. It is missing quite some albums even from prominent singers, like before 2010 onwards. I had a question, if someone could help delete songs from my playlist, I tried many ways but could not delete songs from my playlist. Update: so I changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars. Thank you for contacting me. I was able to edit my playlist. I am a daily user of gaana and I really like it 👌🏻👌🏻

New version issue. I have been using gaana since its first release and I used to like it even when they had limited songs. Now the new version of gaana doesn’t work at all, it gives me all kinds of problems like it doesn’t auto play and doesn’t connect with car properly. Next song will not play if your screen is locked and when I unlock the phone and open the app it just hangs on some random add, so I have to force the app every time to close it and reopen but the same problem gets repeated after some time....I would be happy to switch to older versions if there is a way☹️

Could be so much better…. I really wanted to love this app, but can’t imagine a more buggy and horrendous UI for a music streaming app. For the free with ads version, they advertise that you can now connect to a HomePod. Great! But what they don’t tell you, is that when you steam, every few songs you have to go back to the app to discard the ad or to restart the playlist. It has no intelligence about when you’re streaming on your phone vs an external speaker. And don’t get me started with the UI. I don’t believe a UX designer has designed this. It must be an opportunistic front end engineer. My frequently played radio station never show up as “continue playing”. Even if I add it as favorite, I like have to go search for it. Plus the whole ad experience and tap targets. Just horrendous.

Please just fix the playlist clearing. This app is so great but the thing i hate is that it does not allow u to clear ur recently played.....so if i play a somg i like, even the dumbest songs that i hate always play just bc i cant remove them from my recently played....please allow the option to clear the playlist.... I even tried to reinstall the app but the whole playlist is back! Otherwise i love this app ....its not paid and thats what makes it better than saavn Wd give a 5 star rating if this issue was fixed (Also cd u add more songs from previous movies like harry met sejal, and many more)

Waste App, don’t pay for it. I spent my hard earned money on the subscription, assuming I will get access to the songs I want. To my surprise, there are only handful of songs available. They have also made mockery by creating a different version of popular songs through some local singers. After realizing that, I tried contacting their support through web chat and India number (made international call) but no response at all. In fact, their web chat says a ticket has been created with no ticket number or any kind of communication. Please do not waste your money on this app. Apple should ban this app.

An okay App. Needs bugs fixing and more content. I won’t say it’s a bad app. It’s a decent app with good quality soundtracks. The problem I see frequently is it’s keep crashing here and there and sometimes required to be reinstalled. They don’t have many popular albums in their pocket including many of my favorites that I would say another draw back. It may be because it’s a free app and they don’t have the rights available. There is a great room for improvement if they’re sticking to idea of free app. Overall I like it and happy using it.

Too many problems. This app use to be our go to app for Bollywood songs but the upgrade killed the vibe as the app hangs up often. We thought we need to buy subscription which we did and it ended up giving us a free trial for a month but we are done in 3 days now cancelling subscription. Can’t find nothing on the app the most basic songs, albums, movies nothing and most importantly can’t broadcast on any device. Lost my business as of today. Any suggestions on what other app out there available with better services.

App stops playing abruptly. I have been using Gaana app for last 2-3 years but since last 6 months or so it abruptly stops playing music in between the song. If the song gets over, it does not play next song even when 'Autoplay' is turned on. While driving in car, it does not move to next/prev song if car audio buttons are used even when bluetooth is connected. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, checked settings that might affect autoplay functioning but that too didn't help. I have Gaana version 8.9.0 installed on iPhone 6 having iOS 12.3.1. I saw similar issue reported by other users, so it seems something is wrong in app itself.

Stopped working - Update fixed the issue. I paid for one year subscription last December and it stopped working few days back. I used to login with Facebook and now when I try to login it shows that there is an issue with the app. I waited few days thinking it might be a temporary issue, but no resolution. I am seeing other users also seeing similar issues, not sure whether they are intentionally not respecting one year subscription. —- update I fixed the issue by resetting the password and login with email instead of Facebook. Login with Facebook is still broken. Fortunately my subscription was retained even after the login mechanism is changed.

Needs Lots Of Improvement. I’m a paid subscriber & First to start my review, I’m not sure if the developers of this app is thinking about where the future of this app is going for newer & upcoming devices 🤔. This app needs a lot of improvements ASAP. It would be also nice to see this app having both portrait & landscape mode but currently all I see is that it only has portrait mode which really is annoying to use on all newer mobile devices when BT Keyboard is attached. Developers, please think about all different ways & implement/integrate features to adjust automatically for newer & latest devices. Keep in mind we are heading drastically & fast into the future & you need to keep up with it. I feel that This feedback for improvement might be also ignored by you developers & or deleted. Additionally, nothing will probably be done about most feedbacks that other have given!!!

Good but having Issues for few months!. I have been using this app for quite a few years and haven’t encountered any issues till recently. Since last few months it won’t let me listen to my downloaded songs without internet being on which is extremely frustrating and annoying even after having a paid version. Would highly recommend to fix these issue ASAP! And I have been facing these issues on both the devices having gaana installed..

Amazing app, but has one or two issues. I want to give this app five stars. It’s a really amazing app where I can just listen to music whenever you want... I want except where there’s no internet. Can you fix that please? I want to be able to listen to this type of music wherever I please. Another thing are the lyrics. Their not coming up on the screen. I clicked but it isn't working. Can you help me with that? And last thing, it’s missing a couple of songs. Don’t get me wrong, almost all of my faves are in there, but not all of them. I’d love it if you could add Mr. Majnu songs in there. Other than that, its an amazing app. I would Totally recommend it for a house party, or a get together.

Why won’t it play the playlist without stopping?. Honestly this app is best than any other Hindi songs app & that’s why I use it. I always connect the songs to Bluetooth, it’s either the sound bar at home or my car but after like 2-3 songs the playlist stops & I have to click on play the next song. I tried it on different devices, same problem. It would be so much better if this problem is resolved. Also, please add more songs, it needs wider selection

Cannot access old Hindi songs or the current Bollywood songs even though I am a pai. I am a paid prescriber of this app. I am utterly dissatisfied with the functionality- there is so much nonsense on the home page- I cannot access old Hindi or Punjabi songs that I could easily access when it was a free service for me. I cannot access any playlist for kishore Kumar, Lata mangeshkar etc. I see the option but when I click on it, it says Gaana cannot access the list. Any song that I search for- example- kesariya- I can’t find it. What’s the use?? U have to fix this app otherwise u are going to lose your paid prescribers. The other apps are much more user friendly. And the worse part is- there is no customer service. No one to call to fix the problem

Music streamer of the decade. Gaana has been proved to be the best Bollywood songs streaming application. The application has some cool features which makes it above other competitors. The switching of songs in the playlist is seamless. One thing that I think requires some attention is the search. The prices are also little higher side considering g the fact that it is audio only content. Being an international customer I found it little costlier. I think you can consider different kinds of packages limiting number of downloads at a time which will give subscribers some more options.

Thief’s. I paid for the full subscription and it only worked for 2 days and then it stopped working saying they are have problems connecting but as soon as I logged in with my other account it worked perfectly and asking me to upgrade. I have been trying everyday to log in with the account that I paid for the full year service and it doesn’t allow me. I emailed them so many times but still haven’t heard back. So it looks like the website does work but after they receive the payment they stop. How come it works on other accounts but not the one I paid for and asking to upgrade. You guys are burglars

Good app with a few glitches. This is a great app but there are a few glitches which make it difficult to continue listening. 1) Every time any ad comes up the app just stops playing music, I then have to restart the app to continue with my playlist. 2) I am not able to use voice commands or steering mounted controls for apple carplay, if I am driving usually this means I have to switch to my music app which I can control with my voice or steering mounted controls.

Glitch. So, my mum has gaana and so do i but somethings not right. When i installed gaana i wanted to hear lemon tree, after sometime listening to songs it went to the one i dont like so i pressed another song but it only played for 2 seconds and it kept changing automatically, i tried to re-download it and only for a while it worked but it stopped so i didn’t use it. It was better for a while after some time when i left it but again it happened so please fix this glitch I really wanna hear music while playing roblox but it doesn’t work so please fix this no rush. And now i just i got and its nit working it keeps getting paused again so please fix. Thank you for reading.

Eh. This app is okay, but it has a lot of bugs. My app crashed and I haven’t been able to open it since. Sure, it’s a bug which was “fixed” but I got the update and it still didn’t work. I used to have Saavn, another music app before. I think I’ll stick to that. Also, gaana team: you need to add a better song collection. It’s very hard to access the songs you like compared to saavn. Saavn has them neat and organized to your preferences. Gaana is very unorganized. Right now, many people are getting gaana because you have to pay for saavn. But that doesn’t mean you lay back and laze around. Improve! Innovate! Interest people! At this rate, I’d rather pay at saavn. I think saavn will soon gain more people than you, if not already, if you don’t improve your app soon. But, no pressure😉. It doesn’t matter if your app fails and dies, even with all the advertisements raving about it.

Delete this App. I have been using this app for years, and I am okay with their ads as they have to make money. But now, they deleted my existing account and forced me to buy a subscription to get back all my favorite songs. Coming to support, it's the worst team, and response time is like more than a day; and surprise part is this response time is for each message and not for the entire conversation or issue. Now, they want us to respond in a few seconds. If not, they close the ticket. The ridiculous Part is app stops suddenly, and I need to restart it, again and again, to play the ads in between. I use this app mostly while I drive my car, and how do they expect the customers to watch ads while driving? They can still play audio ads which I can listen to and continue with my next song, but that's not the case. I am in States, and Why do they need subscriptions from other than India if they can't send OTP? I am ready for a subscription, but with this kind of support and greedy team, I am moving away from this app.

Need to solve the issue of add while using the app.. I am using ganna application frequently since many months but in last couple of weeks I observed an problem in an advertisement of the application Dragon City game. While using the ganna application, whenever the advertising of the Dragon City game pops up, I am not able to use the ganna application on my cell phone screen and every time I have to stop listening to music by closing the ganna application completely and again have to open it. The ganna application team should look at this problem very seriously.

Login Problem after new update and worst customer support !!. After last update I am not being able to login to my account. I am not getting the OTP in my phone number to login to my Gaana+ account though I have 1 year subscription. Contacted their support couple of times but they keep saying they need sometime to check. Still not received any solution from Gaana support team. Worst customer support of all time !! Update: Finally my issue has been resolved. It took them around 2 weeks to fix my problem. I would suggest them to be more responsive for customer support.

Incredible app. I just downloaded this app and I am completely in love with it! It's very user friendly and all of the features like the radio, the pre-made playlists, and the search option seem excellent. The ability to choose preferred languages, discover artists, and listen to music based on your mood are also great features. And a lot of the songs include lyrics! For someone who is trying to learn Indian languages (primarily Hindi) this is hugely useful. I can't speak to the extent of the song collection like other reviewers, but it's perfect for me. This is my favorite music app I have ever used and I am so happy to have discovered it!

A piece of trash. According to the new policies, users are supposed to have an account using their email address or phone number. However, I guess the legendary developer or the QA hasn't even tested it. When I enter my phone number, I get an OTP so I go to my messages to get the OTP copied. Upon returning to the app again, I have to start all over again as the previous state disappears. Now, I have to again enter my phone number, get an OTP n then the screen disappears. This happens forever. I guess some testing should have been done before releasing any version of the app. Being an IT professional myself, this is pretty novice job done. Would have rated 0 but can't.

Nice app but has long pending issues. Hi, I have been using gaana app for quite sometime and I used to love it. but for last few months it has been behaving strangely. It won't auto play the next song in an album, playlist etc. Even if I try to move to next track from my car's control it won't do so again this used to work fine before. Sometimes it doesn't even play anything if my phone locks it's screen. This is very annoying and makes the app unusable. I tried to change the auto play setting to enable but it goes back to disabled mode itself. I tried changing the music quality to medium or low but it sticks to HD. I heard from few other friends that they also face the same issue. Please help me fix this or else I will have to switch to some other app. Thanks, AKT

Non sense app deducted money but no service. Premium customer amount got deducted in Jan 2022 for a year and it worked only till April. Then eventually all songs started fading away. Their app says registered till Jan 2023 and another spot says free user. Can’t play any songs at all. Tells me to pay again I don’t know why. Tried contacting them atleast 10 times but no response via email or messaging.

Playback issues. This app doesn’t work well with mobile data sometimes while other steaming apps work on the same signal strength . Also, when connected to car Bluetooth creates a lag with the streaming -this happens frequently.

Recent playlist has bugs and dosent allow to delete song. Stupid user experience and lot of ads which force su to click on them! Also deleting a song from recent play list should be easy but it's not even existing as an option!! So if u listen to a song by mistake it will keep playing every now and then!!

Next song not playing. Next song not playing at times in iPhone X iOS 12.2. One has to kill the app multiple times otherwise Ganna doesn't pick next song from playlist and Apple music or podcast automatically starts, whatever was playing before Ganna app.

Absolutely No support. I have tried to report subscription issue multiple times in chatbot Ginni for last 3 weeks, absolutely no resolution. I am not able to apply subscription and error want me to login using mobile whereas app does not allow mobile login. My mobile is not linked to my email. App does not allow me link my mobile to email. Provided payment details and error. Emailed feedback, sent tweet, still no response. Do not waste time and money!

No English songs. Why is there no English song collection? I switched from saavan thinking you guys might have a good collection of both Bollywood and English songs. But I guess you also just mention it but fool us like other apps!

Unable to login. Gaana app used to be my go-to app to listen to Hindi radio channels. The app has been seriously degraded by removing the radio channels. I have purchased the premium subscription but can’t access it on the app as it would not allow to log me in despite changing the password several times as advised by the app. The app support is non-existent. The chat bot (aka Gaana Guru!!) functionality is useless as it just goes round and round in circles asking same questions repeatedly and does not escalate to an actual human if it can’t provide a solution. Pathetic app. Would not renew my subscription next time. Waste of money.

Room for improvement. I love the App but at times it just stop working and asks to connect to either wifi or cellular while the phone connected to both.

Not been able to clear song list. Hi Gaana Team I used to drag to song list where i have been able to clear the while list and make him go away. Not now even if you drag up it doesn't give you option to clear. Thats been happening from few weeks. I hope you can fix it .

Last update ruined it. Was working perfectly fine till the last update, after which the player stopped appearing on the lock screen and the songs don’t play automatically in the queue if the phone is locked. Tried everything. Any suggestions to make it work?

Would have given 5 if .... It's been so long I have been using Gaana app. I like this app very much. But it is very annoying that I can't play songs from some artists like Enrique, Eminem, Lincon Park and many more. It shows the icon but when I click it plays the previously played song. It doesn't show the list of songs by these artists. Please resolve the issue.

Poor experience. Absolutely poor, so many songs are missing. Search for a song or movie, will show you some random but not the one you searched for. It told me “this is not available in your country” than what’s the point paying for premium if have to listen to limited songs only. Don’t waste your money on this.

Unable to open application. Ganna is very good application but from last few months its giving alot of error. I am unable to open the application on my iphone xr. Everytime i open it gives me a black screen and application crashes and shuts off on its own taking me back to home screen. I deleted the application can trying to download it again thinking it will fix the error but now i can’t even download it back.

Best and updated App. I have tried sawan, hangama and Apple Music but they don’t update daily but Gana is updating every sec so you can find new music which is recently released . Don’t waste money anywhere else use this. 💖💖💖💖

Need some fix. After the latest update I am unable to open the liked songs in my library. App is getting closed automatically as soon as I press the liked songs. Otherwise it is a wonderful app. Please fix it asap. Thanks.

It's disheartening to face such disappointment after making a purchase.. I purchased a Gaana Premium Global offer on December 25, 2023, but it has yet to be activated despite payment. I've opened three tickets on chat with no response and emailed them without any reply. This experience has been disappointing; typically, app content is not available immediately upon purchase. I hope this review prompts them to address and resolve the issue.

New updates are kinda ruining it. Haven been using for long and found almost every song searched so far. Edit: Changed to 5 to 3 star reasons being 1. Auto play is not working after recent updates. 2. Certain Songs get skipped Even if you try search and play that particular song and next random song start playing. 3. I don't mind it runs ads in between but these ads are getting stuck at 0.01 second and I wait forever for the next song to be played until I restart app or something. If these issues get fixed it is beautiful app.

Good but ads. This app is amazing but there are to much of the same ads in between songs but no pressure because my dad and I love using this app to listen to songs in the car.

Autoplay error. Honestly, I love Gaana app and it’s all features until they roll out the new update. I am using iphone XR and when I am using Gaana app, autoplay doesn’t support due to some reasons. I have tried all other app to see if there is a problem with my phone but it seems new version of app is creating this issue as it wasn’t there before. It very frustrating to open screen every time when song is finished. Please fix it.

Exotic Content. Honestly I love the Ganna App and has been using for some time now. Now with the advertisements of their Exotic segment it’s very uncomfortable to listen especially when there is someone in the car. If the advertisement is not stopped then unfortunately I have to stop using the Ganna app.

Autoplay doesn't work. Feedback: app stops music playback after playing 1 song...sometimes if lucky plays 2-3 songs....it basically doesn't load ads and have to head back to app and click on 'Learn more' then the ad screen goes and sometimes music continues but most of the time have to hit play button... No its not about apps permission to run in background...

Apps Not Worth buying. I bought to hear music on my iPhone XS and other device but every time tried to login does not allow me to access. Keeps on giving msg login. Unfortunately not happy with apps and also on web it’s does not allowing downloading of music. Think twice because buying subscriptions.

Ripping off - be careful. I joined in India because was good offer for a year but now I’m back in overseas they start charging much more than that monthly. Yearly was rupee 299 and now monthly $5.49 and customer representative says you shall be charge as per your location. Seriously! DO NOT JOIN or let any of your loved ones joined. They don’t like to explain they just waste time and rip of money. I may take them to court.

Very annoying force click ads while driving.. While driving we would just like to start a playlist and leave it. But this app is an attention seeker. It requires you to open the app after every song. Then there are sometimes when you need to click and close an ad. How can you do it while driving? Really, whoever is developing this app need to test it while driving a car and see how annoying it is.

Playlist not playing. Hi Guys. Songs from my playlists aren’t playing one after the other. After every song i have to manually click next then only next song is getting played. Because one day listening to music on the app, I turned off the app but left it playing on the background and it says I have to pay to continue listening with the app off, please this is literally the only reason I use the app, so I can use it while it’s off. App not working. Looks like the upgraded version does not allow me to login with my account created with my mobile number. I had paid $60 for yearly subscription and now suddenly stoped working. No help on this issue. Have logged a ticket as given in the faq but no response. Even put a message on their facebook account, still no response. Do not buy this app no support once you pay.

Unwanted Upgrade. M using this app from last 7-8 years in india and now in aus and loved it but now they want us to ugrade by spending money this is ridiculous as you cannt access many songs without upgrade. So disappointed and deleting it and searching for new music app. Thanks

Bad Customer service. I have issues with my premium account login .Only way to contact them is through chat and we don’t get any proper response from them and every time they tell that a ticket is created for the issue and I will receive an email regarding that ,but no emails yet.

Really like this app, but still missing Apple Carplay. This app is awesome, but noticed the app is appearing on apple car play but when i run it, i dont see anything. When r we going to get carplay feature?

Difficulty using over wi-fi. The song doesn’t play over wifi properly. I have to always use my data connection to play a song for first few seconds then, I can play it on my wifi. It really pisses me off. Also, the app is updated to latest version. Kindly, get it fixed.

Auto play. Songs are not auto playing while phone screen is locked. It is never happened before. Now it’s very annoying. I can’t unlock screen again and again while driving to play next song. Need to be fixed this issue.

Bad app! Forcing you to get gaana plus app that costs more. This app used to be great but after the updates fit turned bad fast!! All the reviews say that gaana plus is a waste of money so I didn’t download it and now normal gaana is glitching, not playing songs, not loading, and giving random things that pop up to try and MAKE me get gaana plus, like “request timed out and “continue with gaana plus if you want to continue streaming easy music” the advertising is so over advertising!! The people who actually have gaana plus say the opposite of “free, quality HD streaming service” The creators are obviously over advertising but some people (judging by the reviews) are actually DUMB enough to just go with the flow and believe it! Omg this is so annoying and so many advertisements it pops up with random stuff and takes forever to load. Why do you need to wast your time money and effort when you can just get a better streaming app that has actually smart developers and creators who listen to feedback, don’t just say that they’ll fix it and then just do nothing to improve!!!??? Autoplay issue. With recent update, the songs don't autoplay. Screen need to remain active for autoplay. When when connected to the cars Bluetooth, the app stores and the native music app starts playing songs.

Getting worse. This app is getting worse day by day , too many advertising, not many songs to play and most of them are for premium subscribers. And even they put limit for the closed screen songs. You have to pay for that as well.

Autoplay Issued and few more. It looks like the last update made the app behave weirdly. It stops autoplay once the song is finished. So I have to unlock phone and choose next song manually every times. It has also stopped displaying song information on my cars display. It was a time when this app came handy with my cars Bluetooth and work speaker but it is not doing what it needs to. So have to stop using it. Looking forward for better update that fixes the issue.

Gaana app keeps disconnecting from apple watch. I can play the songs with controls on iphone no controls are visible on iphone lock screen or apple watch in nine out of ten times. So i have to keep trying by killing the app and restart it again. I tried all sort of troubleshooting such as rebooting the devices, bluetooth settings, app settings etc but all in vein. Its is so annoying and extremely painful while driving because it does not even sync to my car system andni endup in just listening whatever comes next without touching the phone.

App crashing after update. This app has started putting in a ton of adverts which are then forcefully shoved down our throats. The app after the new update was rolled out does not play and crashes upon hitting the play button. What a waste they’ve done to the app. Sort these issues out if youse as developers want to continue to stay above and beyond. Remember what happened to saavn when they didn’t take their business seriously. You’re a current option to many out there. So sort the issues before you loose your crowd. 1 star as it’s become a junkyard recently.

Download over mobile data option. I am a Gaana plus user. When I have try switching off the download over mobile data option but it turns back on by itself and then I keep getting a notification on lock screen to leave the app open for faster downloads. Also spoiling the listening experience. Please fix this ASAP

Variety of song’s available. Have been using this app for over a year now and it offered all kinds of music including movies album. Since I have upgraded my subscription, I can not find those songs anymore. Please bring back those options.

Subscription issue. Hi, I am using this app in canada. I play songs from this app so i can go on a drive with good songs playing on the back. The ganna plus doesnt have a plan which includes both advertisment free and HD audio feature, so I subscribed both plans. But only one worked. Since the support mentioned only one can be subscribed, they should refund the other plan. Also they are confused with Indian payment and Canadian payment. Please kindly fix the issue.

Worthless. It’s a total nonsense and worthless app if you are in North America and listen to punjabi music. Several hit songs are missing and many are only for Indian users. It’s getting worse by the day. I have paid for annual subscription because it used to be a good app. Such a waste of money now.

Bogus collection. This app doesn’t have good collection rather missing most of the Bollywood renowned movie tracks. I feel cheated subscribing it. In-fact, no one cares for you or your concerns, I tried raising it with the customer care using the email however neither anyone responded nor acknowledged even after follow ups.

Worst payment process and customer service. Although I am using the application from Canada my billing amount showing in INR and when I took 1 month to add free music service I was charged incorrectly. Customer service is worthless. 20 days before I asked them to close my account and delete all data from the app so that I can use a new account and set up data for Canada. But the request is still not served.

Expected more. Great music app. Unfortunately when I decided to upgrade to plus, it did not upgrade and despite writing to the customer service, they were totally incapable of understanding or being courteous, they just closed my ticket, which forced me to abandon my upgrade. Horrible app. Can’t find any albums or songs that I am searching. This has been happening more since last year. There is NOTHING available for the international PAYING customers.. Don’t upgrade to Gaana Plus - fraud and no support. No one ever replies or addresses your issues even if you have upgraded. They will still show you as a free user and will not reply to your messages or address any issues. This app forces you to see full ad. I am uninstalling this app because this app forces you to see the full 15 sec ad after every 3-4th song and morever some of the songs are not available here.

They mention it on their advertisement that you can download and play music offline, but what can I download when most of your music is unavailable. No option for Equalizer. Some other popular streaming apps has this feature. It is a useful feature so please put this feature in gaana app for iPhone.

Downloads. I had 1500 songs download to my old device, songs I do not intend to listen to anymore. I deleted them altogether. Removed sync. Now when I try to download new songs Gaana wants me to download all the 1500 old songs to my new device. It would not allow me to download a new song until I downloaded the old songs I don’t want anymore. Stupid af. I am going to delete my account altogether go this reason. Absolutely stupid.

Playlists Not Accesible. Not very happy camper now - had been using this app since the last couple of years - had setup my curated playlists!!! All good and it was a 5 star experience. I would’ve given 0 stars if there is an option!!!. Third class app with no customer support. You keep writing to them or keep giving feedbacks, they don’t care. I bought the subscription and immediately all the songs that I liked went away. I asked for refund within 2-3 days(In Canada you have refund policy for a minimum of 15 days which is a standard) and they REFUSED saying no refund policy though it was not a big amount. Use it only for free, never buy a paid subscription.

Need to play each songs every time - iPhone app. I really enjoy the playlists and collections in Gaana app. I like to use this in car and while running. It used to work before and intermittently stuck at Ads or some small bugs. Now it is really frustrating because if you play a playlist, literally you have to play each songs manually by clicking. Doing that while running or driving will be horrible experience. I am not sure it is specific to iPhone app. But it is a really serious bug which need to fix ASAP.

Music Controls missing and Song playback stops on ad display. Continuous song playback doesn’t work as some ad which plays between songs expects you to view video, however, when the screen is locked the video isn’t played and thus the song isn’t skipped either when the ad isn’t viewed, causing continuous playback to be interrupted. You guys need to fix how you serve ads- video or banner or audio ads. Second issue is that when the songs are playing, I do not see music controls. Thx for making music free!

History was saved even post subscription end. Thank you Gaana for this amazing feature of keeping the songs history saved even after the subscription ended. This helped me get back all my favourites without having to search them again! Not all the movies/songs can be found though, few are missing. It would be great to have all the Bollywood songs here. One of the worst paid app. I wish i could give 0, I have this app subscribe for one year, and i am cursing myself why i paid. There is no support, no proper search all my tracks in my playlist are not available. My queries on chat and help goes in deaf ears. I cant search any old songs, any artist i play playlist, they started putting regional songs, even i have prefer Hindi as songs. I suggest thing two times before looking for this subscription. It is so bad on playlist, it brings some very weird songs from unknown albums where artist is not in playlist.

Albums stop playing after one song. I have been using Gaana for over a year and after some recent update this problem started. I have the latest version now. But when I tap play all in any album, it starts playing and then I lock my phone. After playing one song, music stop playing, then I have to open app and play it again. I don't know if it makes a difference: I always use it with Bluetooth headphones, portable Bluetooth speakers or car Bluetooth speaker. Hope to see an update with this fixed soon.

Same song repeat. Is anybody else having problem with the app just playing one song over and over. I selected the 90’s music with lot of songs but it keep playing the first song. Songs doesn’t play on its own anymore. This is amazing App but since last update now we have to literally play one song at a time it wont play next song unless screen is not locked and app should be on top. This is frustrating while driving I am planning to switch

Worst customer service that never responded. I have been a Gaana plus subscriber for quite a few years. I switched phone and now for the last about 4-5 months I am not able to log in. Used the forgot password option but it asks for OTP but I never get it on my US phone number! The same freaking number that I used to subscribe! My carrier was still charged for renewal as it was set up as automatic. Hopefully Gaana team at least reads the reviews!

Very bad app and no support. Never use this app. I was using this app for years then I subscribed for ganna plus. Since last October , every time I tried listening. It would just ask me to subscribe again even though it was already subscribed. Then it got auto renewed in February but still kept on stopping and subscription ad will pop up and won’t go away. I sent email with all screenshots and the mail got bounced. I canceled my subscription and it says I can access it till August but the subscription ad comes up and won’t go away. 😡 Don’t use the app. Total waste of your money.

Add Timer. I just downloaded this app and I am already loving it. However, I could not find set timer feature in here. It would be so nice if there was a timer to play because user can set time how long they want to listen. I don’t want to play song all night, so I could set time for certain time until I fall sleep. Only 4 stars for not having timer feature.

Hardly any songs available in USA even with gaana plus subscription. USA users - don’t even brother to download this app or go for premium subscription. Any of my fav songs I want to listen to - new or old, comes up with a message “this song is unavailable in your country“. Few examples - Shershaah, Kai Po Che, Lucky Ali - O Sanam. Just tried a few recent releases, same issue. Contacted support and got a standard response “few songs are unavailable outside India” well it’s way more than just a “few”. This never happened with saavn pro. Guess this made my decision easier to not renew my subscription.

Playlist stops playing when iPhone locked. This is something that has started happening recently where my playlist won’t play once my phone goes into lock mode. Now I have to unlock my phone and basically keep the app open to enjoy my music! This should be fixed ASAP! Furthermore when my screen is locked, the phone doesn’t recognize that there’s still music playing so I cannot access the functions from my lock/home screen. What’s going on Gaana... can you please address these issues!

It cannot play songs in queue. I use iphone xr. I add my favorite songs to queue and it just play one song and stops. I need to unlock and click next to play next song. I remember sending request about this through app and they simply said its a known bug. Wow thats still bug for several months now and had to delete this app and chose Hungama. Now I am relieved that I can listen to my favorite songs. Thanks Gaana for helping me find better music app...!!

Lot of bugs. The app has some good collection of songs. But lately the overall experience is not so much enjoyable as the gaana app does not pop up under music controls. Tried verifying if its just my phone or the app and realized its the app as the (mis)behavior is consistent on multiple phones. The other music apps I have on my phone work perfectly fine. Tried uninstalling and re-installing gaana app but that did not fix the issues either. This is probably the main cause that brings in other operational bugs like- 1. App not playing the next song 2. Bluetooth connection disruption let it be wireless headphones or car bluetooth 3. Wired headphones not playing songs etc. and may be more. Its not the worst thing but there is certainly a great room for improvement with regards to app stability.

Ads. I was interested in one of the ads you had for a fundraiser from the non profit organization Ketto. Unfortunately the payment did not go through after filling all the credit card info. The pay button at the last screen did not work. I suppose the NGO is not getting what it is supposed to get out of their hope and investment into the ad on your app. They lost many possible donations. The ad was for a child’s medical treatment. I had to wait until I logged on to my laptop to do my donation. Hoping to see the issue gets fixed at the earliest.

Paid twice for yearly subscription but no access. Hi, I paid for yearly subscription and it was showing me as free user. The issue with free user is that the song stops playing after 10 seconds and it would say pay for full subscription. I paid for annual and it still same issue. I paid again and still same issue. So you guys took my money twice for annual and I still don’t have access even after raising the ticket thrice. You guys stole my money. So don’t steal the money and take payment twice without any subscription twice.

App has become a scam!!!. I’ve been a paid subscriber for Gaana+ global for many years through Apple subscription. My yearly membership expires at the end of April, however, the last 5-6 month the app keeps telling me to subscribe for the Gaana+ global even though my membership is still active. All my playlists, downloaded songs, liked songs are gone. I tried contacting customer service multiple times, but they never got back to me. So I will not be renewing ever again.

Clicking on Radio signs out of app. Everytime I click on radio, the app throws an error “The operation could not be completed” and signs me out. The radio then starts to play but i have to sign in again. I have been facing this issue since last 3+ months and it is surprising that the app developers still haven’t done anything to fix it. The app otherwise is really good and i am a fan. I also signed up for paid subscription but having to get kicked out of the app is really frustrating. Hope the team gets around solving this bug.

Annoying 😡. I used this app for years and they have good selection of songs but now they have all the songs as premium so until you pay for the app you can’t listen to even a single song. Do not download this dumb app and I live in the States so half of the song show me as this song is not available in your country ok understood I can’t listen some songs and now you’ve all as premium and people you dont wanna pay for this app can’t use it this is ridiculous

Gaana needs bit work on HotShots. During my usage of the Gaana app, couple things I have notice that needs improvement & changes. After Ganna release HotShots feature, everything feels overweight. So, I recommend Ganna to release a brand new app call HotShots. As of right now, HotShots feels very buggy & broken. One recommend advise to give us Ganna should redesign or move things around to look bit different from TikTok. The Gaana app is bit overweighted, Gaana has cramped tons of features.

Cannot play songs without unlocking the phone. Every time the app is updated, some new issues shows up. Emailed a week ago, no response! I have noticed many people complaining about the same issues. Please get it fixed. Your advertisement breaking the app. Asking for more info about the IOS and App doesn’t matter if you are not fixing the core issue. Which is the music stops after one song on advertisement and forces people to bring the app forward on screen and then black screen. Takes all the fun out of listening.

Used to be my favorite app but lot of issues recently. This used to be my favorite app but now seems to have run into some issues. - not autoplaying next song even when app is actively used - doesn’t show up when phone is locked: not sure if iphone is blocking this app or something else - no car play support - from the playlist sometimes i have to click on previous song to play next song.

Extremely bad customer service and experience. For someone who is unable to login and having password reset issues, you are asking the person to find a way to login to the app and locate the homepage > chat with us because that is the only way to reach to your support team. I would write a review on Google and everywhere possible with 0-1 star rating if my issue is not resolved in 24 hrs. You can’t just bill me $40 and not provide me with the service. Thanks!

Gaana App not working. I have been using Gaana app with subscription for some years now. While customer service is horrible and I don’t see anyway to contact anyone for help, since last 2 days the app have completely stopped working. It’s just blank and doesn’t play anything . I have tried deleting the app and re downloading it . It’s just stuck on initial Gaana screen .

Love this app!. I love the gaana app. Especially the fact that you people decided to keep almost all the features free. I faced a few bugs over the last few months but everything seems fixed now. Just one suggestion. Could you add an equalizer to this app with all the basic presets? I love tweaking with my equalizer settings on other music apps. I wish gaana had the same.

Older format was better. Good enough considering the limited choices in such apps. The format of the queue is terrible. It keeps adding other songs from the similar song list to my queues when I try to go to the next song on my queue. I hate this new format, it’s not user friendly at all. I want to listen to the songs I chose not the ones Ganna identifies as similar.

Shutsdown. App shuts down after becoming ganna plus user no matter cant tap any where while listening going to settings it shuts, while listening going to album or tap to see playlist it shuts really wasnt gonna write this thought might need a restart but still the same thats really annoying after paying the free version was better wish didn’t pay rather

Bug. Very good app as I have used so far but today I came across a thing. The song seen in player was different then the song playing actually. I hope you can check on your end. A little help this thing got in hand when I was changing track from the notification and along with my bluetooth. otherwise its a 5 star app, still I am giving 5 to Gaana👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good but not enough. Gana’s probably one of the best music apps I’ve used. It has a wide variety of songs, easy to use interface, and nice black background vs white mode. The only problem I’ve had was the music playing. Sometimes, when I left the app after choosing my playlist, only the first song played and then stopped. It wouldn’t play the next song. Other times, when an ad appeared, it would pause the ad and I would have to re-enter the app to play and skip the ad.

Not able to get to the app. I was very impressed with Gaana and was using it for long time, then I tried to change my phone number and the app went down. Now whenever I launch the app, it says “sorry you cannot use the app now because your data is being deleted”. I am stuck on this screen now. Tried reaching the support team on their email, few months back and never got a response! I am no more able to use the app now.

Recently has lots of issues. This app used to be great and was working fine until 2 weeks back. I was using it all over the place in my car, home, gym and so on. 2 weeks back I updated app and since then it has tons of issues 1. Crashes unexpectedly all of the time 2. Even if a song is playing, an ad starts and I could hear ad plus song at same time 3. If I play song from my playlists, most of the times it stops when song is over and next song doesn’t play by itself, I have to click on play again. Gaana creators, please fix it and help me to like this app again, I really want to.

The App Crashes After Every Song. So I have been using Gaana for almost 2 years now, it works amazing! However, in the past few days i have been experiencing a problem with it crashing. For example I would play a song, it works fine, but when I hit next, the app crashes, making me restart the app again and again. Please fix this issue. App crashes frequently. I used to love this app. However, recently the app does not play the next song automatically. Unlocking the phone and manually hitting play every time isn’t what I was looking for. Please fix this issue. Please note, getting my registered phone number, email address isn’t going to help since many users are reporting the same issue. Also, I cannot send an error screenshot because no error shows up, the songs just don’t play.

App has stopped displaying the information / controls in the lock screen mode on iPhone.. It was working fine up until two months ago and now no controls display during the Lock screen mode on the iPhone and also car controls / display has stopped working. I am guessing the car display is connected with the no lock screen display on iPhone

Gaana App is an essential app. If your phone doesn’t have this app, then what are you waiting for? Get it now. Songs from Bollywood and other categories will keep you dancing and singing. Great app just one request!. I’m really a fan of this app! Really an awesome app. But, I would like to request to add Bengali songs which are not from India. I mean there are more songs from Bangladesh which are not that bad...I enjoy them too. I wish I could find them here too. Thanks for your effort for our entertainment.

The app is good but it has a major issue. The app has a good library of songs but recently there has been an issue not only on my phone but many people have had this similar problem. The app only plays like a few songs and then it stops playing unless u go back to the app and play the song manually but the problem persists. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

It’s not free anymore!!. It was good before when there was ads between each songs!! We had no problem hearing ads!! Now they are asking to pay after you download the app. They added premium to every songs, albums, even radio. Which means you have to pay to view anything. I used this app for so many years, but now I’m deleting this app. I waited for more than two weeks thought they will realize and change back to what it was before!! But they didn’t..

Need to fix the issue. I was big fan of this app but not anymore. Normally I doesn’t complain unless they don’t fix the issue. I complain lots of times using app but no one fix it. After the new apple software update, app is constantly crashing and not working like it used too. I tryouts everything. I will wait for couple of more days then i will switch to the other app. Please fix the issue.

Leave your phone unlocked. Not sure when it started but now I have to keep unlocking my phone to be able to play the next song in queue. It’s just so much hassle, I can’t be unlocking my phone every few minutes. Also, even if I search and want to just play that one song it will auto add thousands other songs to the playlist to be played after that song. It used to be a good app. I hate to not use Gaana as it has lots of good collection. Please fix these issues and make is more user friendly.

please add iPad support. Edit- Latest update keeps crashing on IOS. please fix it asap. so downgrades my rating to 2. I am a big fan of Gaana app.. Ui interface on iPhone is one of the best I have seen. But it’s sad that u don’t have iPad version of the same.. please add support for iPad as a native version not a scaled version of iPhone app..I constantly move between phone and ipad. There is no sync between the apps even when I am logged in both.. it would really great if this feature is added too..

Nice App with Ton of issues. It used work fine until few months ago but all of sudden it’s giving its worst. Not sure who the app developer is, they need lots of training. Automatically my mobile app logs me out, when I try to login back again it doesn’t send OTP for authentication. Playlist doesn’t work, doesn’t sync with Apple play. These are few which I remember and there are lot more which I don’t. It has become pain in the ***

Pulled my subscription before the expiration. I am a regular user of Gaana. Really like the app. I stopped subscription for the following month after paying current month and noticed I was pulled of my subscription as soon as I pulled my subscription. It does not recognize that I have already paid for it for the current month. I am denied of service I have already paid for . I am not happy and will think again before subscribing. Please correct the problem before I subscribe again. Thank you

It does not play next song in the queue.. It used to work just fine. But for past 6 months or so it is so buggy. It just stops playing next song from the queue. It also stops when there is an advertisement in between songs. Then the reaolution would be closing and opening app again which is frustrating. I think this would be tactic to get more premium users which is very very bad move. I would like to uninstall the app and use alternatives. Being generous with two stars here.

Autoplay has stopped working. This was best app and best companion on long drives. Was very easy to navigate the songs as there were ton of top charts. But those seem to have faded or replaced by more new songs play list. And the most annoying thing being auto play to next song in playlist doesn’t work. It’s very distracting while driving to get To screen and/or try keep it unlocked all the time. Hope you are able to fix this issue soon.

Not driver friendly. A few issues but two of the most important issues are 1. It’s hard to navigate while driving especially, with the ads popping up everytime you unlock the phone to gaana app. Therefore it diverts mind while driving. 2. Once you have few songs listening, every list like “top songs, new songs, romantic songs etc” plays the same list. There are so many new songs but every-time I click “new songs”, I get to hear the songs that is 1-2 Or even 3 years old.

Gaana app is best,but some glitches need be fixed.. I am using iPhone 7+ and iOS 12.2. Gaana app was working fine till last month & now it stops after playing one song because there are 30 seconds commercials which are unable to play and 30 seconds counter does not start. Only way to start again is kill the app and restart it. This is the same behavior with and without WiFi. I did delete existing gaana app and downloaded new version and installed it but same behavior as before. Thanks

Horrible customer service!. So I somehow was unable to sign in to app after I got a new phone. I tried everything & I can see my DL songs but unable to listen to it. App telling me I’m a Free User when I’ve been and still am suscribed for a long time. I wrote them numerous times and they replied with only one line email responses none of which was helpful just basic bs any idiot can do! I changed as much as I could to start new acct and of course lost hundreds of songs. That’s why they don’t have a number to call bc they don’t care! Still unable to get proper help, my music, or money back for 2 months of bs!!! Don’t get this app!

Can’t play music in background. I have been using Ganna app for few years now. This have been my only source of Hindi music, but I think the last update has killed the app. I am not able to play the music in background at all. After starting a playlist, if I move to another app or I lock my screen, the does not transition to the next song automatically. I have to open the app again and then it plays the next song. This is has made the app unusable, as I can not constantly keep unlocking my phone to listen to songs. PLEASE FIX IT.

Good app for Hindi songs. App works fine. I didn’t see any issues playing my playlist songs. It plays related songs as well. Though it doesn’t have a few Hindi albums which I like. But I still find it better than others. Category and years songs collection is also good.
