Still searching…. Looks pretty. Lots of options for tagging and even some smart / auto tagging, but doesn't let me combine contacts from one source with another - eg work (exchange) John info can't be combined with friend (gmail) John info for just one John. In that sense it's actually worse than stock contacts app. Additionally it sent me six notifications of a friend's birthday... and then reminded me 10 minutes later... six more times. I've turned off notifications and waiting for update.

Good Ideas but poor implementation. Many issues. Can't merge the contacts & when adding the contacts to groups....some will get selected automatically. And many other annoying items. Planning ask for refund

Needs Work. Good parts and bad parts. Difficult to switch from companies to contact name. Could use a category option. ie. Baker, Plumber, Utility.... Hard to move around or get out of some views. Looks like its off to a good start but needs a smoother UI.

Terrible app. Complete waste of time and money. App keeps crashing and I have yet been successful in entering a single contact. Zero stars....shame on these developers!

Could be good..... ..but, it is not very intuitive. Many, many options with very little help to figure things out. The FAQ is very minimalist. The interface in the 'Contacts' view is a mystery!

Perfect. Best contacts app I've tried.

Useless with current bug.. Cant text or call from this app because it adds +49 to the beginning of every number… Fix this and the app will be great. Right now its the worst waste of $1.99 in the Productivity category.

the BEST contacts app out there!!!. I've tried a bunch of the contacts apps and this one is hands down the BEST. It's easy to use, filled with multiple features and has the coolest interface I've ever seen. I don't write a lot of reviews, I have to really hate or really love an app to critique it. This review is all about the love.

App Still Supported?. Hello Developer: Is this going to be updated for iOS 13 and 14? Based on the reputation of MiCal I purchased Contaqs and am greatly disappointed. Native Contacts app works much smoother. Please advise.

Q.B.. Agree with the other review on the light gray lettering. Also would like it to be easier to select either texting, e-mail, attaching photos, etc. as it is from the I-Phone contacts. Bigger photo of the contact desirable too. Like the app though and continue to use it.

Best contacts app. This has always been my favorite contacts app.

Potential is there (updated review).. Since the update, I love this app, it offers lots of cool features and has become my go to contacts app. Hope there is an ipad version in the works.

Can't select after search. Used search, but then can't select.

Has glitches. I would love this app, it looks great but unfortunately does not work great. The main reason I bought it was for the group adding feature. When adding people to a group you have to deselect contacts that the app randomly adds to your new group. On top of that it deletes everything in the group when you are done, leaving you back at square one. Don't buy until they fix this!

Needs Help!. This app has stopped successfully sending group SMS. It gathers the names, but the send fails. Please help.

Pretty good. App is easy to use and has tons of ways to sort contacts. Nice find function! Crashes occasionally, therefore only 4 stars.

some one forgot. this program could be good...the basics are there. they need to improve the directions, and give somewhere to go for help. the simplest things just seem so hard to do...like add a bunch of people to a group...it lets you pick them, but there is no way to import them into a group? all i can figure out is that you must add one at a time. this could be good...finish programing it.

Contaqs falls short!. Doesn't sync between devices.

Much improved over past few iterations.. Contaqs.app for iOS is still updated regularly, and adds real power to Contacts.app. Now far faster to navigate. Edit Contact-Group relationships. Geolocation. Smart lists. Uses Contacts database. I’m going to start using it as my main Contacts tool rather than as a way to augment Contacts.app (which remains stagnant).

IV. Great app

Still supported?. I bought this 2 says ago and it has crashed every other time I have tried to use it. Specifically, it completely freezes (ie needs to be shut down and restarted) when: adding a new contact, editing a contact, creating a group, editing a group. I'll upset this review if the issues are fixed- so pass on buying this until you see an update!

Good app. Love it, but crashes a lot. Ill keep using hoping on an update.

Great Contacts App. This is definitely an awesome replacement for the stock Contacts app. Just 2 simple feature requests to improve usability would make it 5 stars for sure: 1. For Favorites, allow user to choose favorite number for calls and texts so we don't have to click then choose the same number every time. 2. Allow manual re-ordering of contacts in Groups/Favorites (sorting options are great, but priority based on how often called would be best, and user could easily do this once and be done). Love all the features and integration with Google Maps too. Thanks guys!

Does allow to move contact from local to exchange group. But that is what I read it does. Waisted my money.

Best contact app I've found with two caveats.. Please fix the crash that happens if you try to use the family fields. And the loading of this app is VERY slow. Speed it up. Then it would be a 5.

1. I love the format however I find the light grey lettering hard to see. Would love to see it in black.

Best Contacts App Ever!. This is my favorite app to use for organizing my contacts because it has so many more features than the regular iOS contacts app. Not only can I place my contacts in “Groups” of my own choosing, but they have this thing called “Smart Lists” where they help you organize your contacts without you having to do the work. For example, it can list all your contacts by company, or by “nickname,” or the one that has been most helpful to me - by “creation date.” There are those times when I can’t necessarily remember a new contact’s name but I remember that I just put them in my address book the day before yesterday, so I can look them up that way. Also, I like the “upcoming birthdays” feature, the “map” which shows you where all your contacts are located, and the “contacts nearby” feature that I use quite frequently when I travel. Finally, and I think probably best of all, Contaqs helps you to clean up your existing contacts list by telling you things like you have this many contacts in your address book “without email addresses” or without images or that aren’t in a group or that don’t have a birthday listed, etc. And it gives you an exact count of the number of contacts you have in your address book. All these features, to me, make this the best contacts app ever!

Crap App. Does nothing of value but order contacts in various ways. And for a paid app! Default apple contact app is the same.

Wrong date. Wrong days for Birthday . 1day before the actual birthday .

Good app w One major flaw. I’ve had this app for over three years. I use it for grouping contacts for group text/email notifications. It’s great for that. However, this app deducts one day off Birthday date entries in iPhone contacts, which places incorrect date in the calendar. I’ve reported this several times over the years with no resolution. Maybe it’s too complicated for their IT folks. If incorrect birthdates are okay then this is your app.

Crashed 5 Times the First 20 Minutes. I really like the concept of this app, but so far it's crashed 5 times in the 20 minutes I've used it just trying to update my contacts. Also, if you could merge Facebook and what info I already have in my phone into one contact, it would be much nicer and get a higher rating. I'm now wishing I had spent my money a little more wisely.

Run away fast!. This app is the biggest waste of money. I can’t believe anyone would give this a favorable review. This is absolute junk, freezes up and has never worked. Buy at your own risk.

Ms. Sure, I can group contacts, but every time I try to send a group text, delivery fails. So what purpose is trying to use this app?

Don't Buy. I purchased this app yesterday and have been working with it all day. It has some good features, but as I've tried to add, edit contacts, it has crashed 7 or 8 times. Very frustrating. I will not use.

Excellent app. This is an excellent app. It works as advertised. It is a very good buy.

Pretty close to perfect. If pictures would override that stupid block of squares for audio etc... It would be nice.

iOS 14. Needs updating for iOS 14...Thanks for the update!Looking forward to Apple’s approval for the notes fix as well! The thing I like the most is to be able to create and populate groups on my iPhone and iPad.

The best contact app. Easily the best and most flexible contact management app. Although I have had cause to contact support I was amazed at how proactive, personal and helpful this was. The app gets 5 stars and the support team 6. Keep up the excellent work.

Brilliant App. Works really well. Birthdays notification & upcoming age is a real bonus. Searching works well in the names list, although, in the contact list it only works with numbers.

I wanted this to be amazing.. I wanted Contaqs to be amazing, I really did but it just failed to deliver. I'd been searching for a while for an iPad native version of CoBook and I thought I had found it but after purchasing the app I can't, in good conscience, recommend it. There were several crashes within the first few minutes of using it which was pretty disappointing. It looks pretty but it's not yet very functional. Hopefully there will be updates forthcoming that will address these issues; until then it won't have a place on any of my devices.
