Best listening post ever. With an almost unlimited library at your fingertips, personal playlists created by you and playlists of public offering by other users your musical knowledge will be expanded beyond anything you might have imagined. Build and gather your favorite artists, genres, and songs and take them wherever you wander. Going somewhere there might not be internet, no problem. Download all you want, then before you step off the “map” go into offline mode and have days of music at your beck and call. And all at a very affordable price. So check in, tune in, and tune out.

Hot or miss. A crappy app that could be much better. Although I’ve subscribed to this app for years, there is much that drives my bonkers about this app. The search engine is completely useless. Sometimes it requires investigating just to find certain albums from certain artists. It can not be assumed that all albums are listed under the “all albums “ tab. Also many albums by some artists are not available. Example, even though all Beatles mono mixes are available on CD doesn’t mean you’ll find them here. The most annoying part is the time it takes to load a new track when one is finished playing. You’d think with the speed offered to these music services, they’d be able to allow tracks to flow uninterrupted as is the case with any CD. Removing songs from a playlist is difficult and cumbersome. If I decide I want to remove a song from a playlist there should be an option while the track is playing to make a two click system that will remove it. There are plenty of other options listed while listening to a track, it should include an option for removing a song from a playlist. Lastly, would it kill them to include a small biography about the artist and album you are listening too? All in all an ok app that could be made great by these upgrades.

Earprint is revolutionary. My ALLTIME favorite music app Earprint make this app stand out above the rest, in my opinion. It creates a response curve that is determined by YOUR ears and the headphones currently attached. When you start the process, it’s like a hearing test - push the button when you hear the sound - after it’s done the change will be noticeable. You can create an save Earprint curves unique to each set of headphones that you have. Once you’ve got your Earprint working, everything sounds better here than iTunes or any other place because the sound curve is matched to your headphones and your eats. The difference is truly noticeable.

Just not what it used to be. Hello, I have used this app for years now, and ever since the new version update, the app keeps cutting out, freezing, not downloading, and simply just not working on most days. I’ve had many complications recently and not happy about it. I’m this app, you can download unlimited songs, but, if you have to uninstall the app, you will lose all your downloads. I think that is nonsense since I’m this app, you have an account, so therefore why doesn’t the songs stay within your account? I don’t know I’m not the genius behind this. Anyway, I’m very disappointed in this music app. It just got sold to new corporation, that may be why it isn’t working properly. Been great for years but now it isn’t worth a dime. Don’t waste your time on this app.

Many issues. I’ve had this app for many years now. I always have issues where after I update the app it deletes all of my downloaded songs. I also have had issues where I cannot find my playlist or it only shows less than half of the songs on my playlist. This isn’t a new thing and has always been happening since I’ve had this app. It is also hard to delete a song. You cannot just press a button on the song to delete it. You have to press a button at the bottom and then scroll all the way down the playlist to delete it and sometimes it doesn’t even work and delete the song. It seems that every time a new update comes out it has even more bugs than before. It is also extremely hard to search for songs and artists in the search bar section. If I type in a song name, most likely it will not show many options and I will end up having to type in the artist name and try to find the song that way.

Accidentally blew $10. *in process of resolving Well, I saw a song I wanted to hear and it linked me to this app so I was trying to download it while watching TV. It said I had to buy premium and I was kind of curious how it would try to get money from me through Facebook so I went with the flow. Next thing you know, a thing popped up about buying a subscription and my thumb being on my home button triggered it. Now I’m down $10 even after immediately cancelling my subscription. Am now sad!

Getting there. Once again I am a longtime subscriber I just had to delete the whole app and start over on downloading my music. Because it stayed stuck on the stupid music video screen blacked out and wouldn’t let me get to anything playlist nothing. It will freeze there and we are stuck please fix. Since the new update tho it doesn’t freeze but now it constantly skips over music. I can have my playlist going and it just randomly skips songs and I have to go back in and click on songs it skips and it’s not on shuffle. So constantly throwing off music vibes when i am trying to listen and relax so now I don’t use my playlist it even does it in the favorites just randomly skips over songs sometimes one and sometimes it will skip over six songs. For instance all my Whitney songs as you know are in order a to Z. I’ll start at the top it will play that one skip to the middle and when I try to go back to start a song over it will be a whole different song and eventually it will skip back to the end of beginning and stop playing. Also it doesn’t continue a song anymore if I am listening and get a call it I can either answer or decline and than it will start the whole song over even if it’s in the middle.

Moments of good. Ive subscribed to this service for the better part of a decade. The availability of music has always been great, ability to create playlists and just having a queue for your favorites was awesome. There are too many gimmicks. Everytime something goes wrong, the fix is always to delete the app entirely, and then re-download it causing you to have to download all of your music all over again. Lately with the new format, there are even more glitches where you go to search for a popular artist and it just says no one matches your search. Clearly a tech issue behind the scenes, but these are big issues to have. For the first time in years, I am actually considering other music services.

Don’t like the new update. I don’t like the new update that y’all just installed, it crashes at random times and and sometimes logs me out. I don’t like the new layout of the app either, I like when you can skip down to different songs by the click of the letter of the alphabet on the side screen. Made it easier to find songs, now I have to scroll through my whole playlist. And now I’m annoyed cause I got log out again and now I can’t even log back in due to you not being able to reach your servers to log me back in……I’ve been with you guys since probably the beginning when this app came out and I’m highly disappointed :(

Needs improvement. There are several drawbacks when using the app. Sometimes it just randomly quits on me. Not a huge deal since it almost always starts back up again. When you select artist radio, it cycles through what appears to either be a very short list or repeats the same songs. They also got rid of the feature playlist radio. Not missing that terribly because when it was an option, it usually just cycled through the songs you added rather than new ones but I did use it on occasion when I was sick of listening to the same songs; it would have been great if it had more variety.

Good app but missing a key feature. This is a great app! You can listen to music or watch music videos. But I’ve seen two problems so far. The first problem is that there is no lyrics! Now personally lyrics sometimes help me understand what the song is saying and adding lyrics to this app would make it much easier to understand what a certain song is saying when they mumble something or sing too fast. And the second thing I’ve noticed is that the playlist covers or whatever they are called don’t always load instead of maybe a picture of a dog on my playlist It’s a collage of the artists on it and it’s almost never the picture of a dog. I really hope you guys could fix/add these things! Great app!

Much appreciation. All the avenues it can connect you too. I enter one name or song. Then I’m checking out their most popular song. Their most recent album. Scroll down through albums and compilations in case there’s anything I missed. Then onto ‘similar artist’, to reacquaint yourself to forgotten favorites, or explore other artist that are new to you. To further your discovery, relative playlist will point you in new directions. If somehow you missed anything, you can fill in all other gaps on home page. Old, to new, to west coast to southern dirty. To 90’s, to soundtracks, to duets, or movements, comedy and children. It’s here!

Do not subscribe. I’m deleting this app and not looking back. I’ve had various issues with it. I had my account hacked and someone was using my profile, it took me days to get it figured out. The app is trying way too hard in 2022 with music videos and crap “radio” playlists. More recently I had issues where I would get signed out of the app while using it and l would be constantly resigning in or the other issue where it would play one song and stop or just stop in the middle of the song and I’d have to sign in again. Today was the final straw I was signed in and I was listed as another user and on their private profile and had access to that persons playlists. Developers please do not respond unless you have a refund ready. You can pay me to do your job.

This is hands down the best in class music app. Been using over 10 years. It continually improves. It’s a music lover’s dream. Intuitive and flexible. Greatest variety I’ve found, and I’ve tried many other apps from time to time. The developers of this app are awesome. Here’s an idea for a new feature: build a digital signature (for example: # of beats per minute, tonal range, background orchestration, etc.) of the music from each song-then enable the user to search for and find other songs that are a close match it so the user can build a style based playlist.

My go-to app for listening to my favs and for exploring new music. I love this app, it has become an important part of my music listening life. The selection is vast, of course, with easy searching – but the extra features in the app are especially valuable to my listening. For example; -create a road trip or workout list, -I often explore hours of music with suggested artists and popularity ranked songs, based on what I’m listening to, -good radio suggestions based on my listening to learn about new stuff, -My library is downloadable to my phone -the equalizer has a diagnostic tuner to customize my new headphones to my ears (I was very impressed with the difference) It’s a great app.

It’s great but.... It’s great for the pricing and for the amount of music you get. It’s great. The headphones settings are also fantastic. However, a few things I would like to be added/fixed. The main one is, could you guys like, stop changing my playlist cover photos? I mean seriously, don’t give us the option to pick our own cover if you’re just going to change it to a random photo every other day forcing us to change it again. That doesn’t mean take away our ability to customize our cover, cause that’s neat, I mean that by please fix that bug or setting you guys have so it will stay what we choose. It’s seriously starting to get VERY annoying. Second, more music from smaller artists/broadways would be great but I understand that purchasing rights is hard so that’s more a small no doubt frequent request you guys get. But it would be greatly appreciated to see more cover artists and creators on here. That’s it, otherwise, fantastic app!

Don’t get this app if you care about your music. I had this app for many many years paying a premium expecting my music and my library to be there and just like that i lost more than a 1000 songs. My music took years to gather and i was stilling adding since i listen to just about every style of music it was very time consuming to piece together well i reached out to them and i kept getting generic responses like we are working on it after more than a month i get a notification that my music was back when i check i went from 25 to almost 200 and at least half where bands i never listen to or songs i had but covered by some random band that was terrible. I finally made the decision to go with Apple Music and start the painstaking work of trying to build back my libraries of music i had. You have been warned stay away

Gives me a unique soundtrack to my life everyday and everywhere. I travel globally for work. I can download music before getting on planes or being in countries where the service isn’t offered. I can customize or randomize playlists and music based on where I am in the world. In Austria, Baroque Back Paul playlist of Beatles and Paul McCartney songs with Baroque style horns. Hong Kong? Random punk rock protest songs. Sitting in a random office working? 202 Motown Songs: The Complete #1’s to keep my mood up! My only issues are 1. the app logs itself out in countries without service so I cannot play downloads until I am able to log back in. 2. Downloading needs to be more transparent and flexible. Sometimes downloading stalls but I don’t know it happens or why. Need to be able to dynamically reorder or selectively delete download queue when connection speeds are slow.

Beyond upset.. I use to really like this app. A couple years ago I decided to cancel my subscription because I couldn’t afford it and they still charged me $99 for a years subscription! I called customer service they had no problem refunding me. Yesterday I decided to cancel my subscription once more and today they still charged me the $10. I called customer service and for starters the first guy I talked to cut me off while I was talking then put me on hold. When he got back on the phone he asked if I was still there and when I was answering him he hung up. I called again and the second guy I talked to was VERY rude. Very short rude answers and I was told I could not get a refund even though I canceled it the day before. I asked if there was someone higher I could speak with and he said no which I highly doubt. Very rude customer service. Very unfair! Do not download.

APP IS RIDICULOUSLY UNRELIABLE!. Regrettably, I should have chosen a different streaming service. The App is HORRIBLE! Playlists never maintain the downloads for songs. When you log out, all the downloads are erased - so then you have to redownload all the songs so they can stream offline. Horribly annoying. Secondly, when you click on a playlist it automatically adds ALL songs in that playlist to the queue automatically. Why??? What if I want to go to a playlist, and then add just a few songs to the queue. Nope. Then you click another playlist and ALL those songs are added on top of the previous songs already in the queue. Ugh!!!! Then you scroll down to play a song AND it takes 45+ seconds to play, but only if it’s downloaded. Finally, the whole music service is frequently offline - meaning you can’t login at all and an error message pops up “unable to access our servers. Try again later.” When this happens, you have to redownload all your playlists AGAIN!!!! Argh!!!!!! Are you #$&@$ kidding me?! Go elsewhere. It will add years back your life.

New Update made this App Garbage. I have been using this app for over 10 years and I am ready to unsubscribe and delete this app. App freezes, takes forever to change the song, oh did you skip a song and want to go back? Hit back 100 times and you’ll still not be able to go back. Have more than one phone that uses the account? Welp you can’t stream at the same time even if you pay for the fam package without kicking the other person off. Want to find a song without searching for the artist first? Better start scrolling because the alphabetical scroll wheel is now gone. Dude fix this ish ASAP. I will be getting a new app very soon if it doesn’t shape up.

App is now awful. I have written a review I stated everything wrong. However what I have noticed is that you only respond to the positive reviews. This app has an infinite amount of bugs. You have to tap a song sometimes 10-15 times before it will play. You don’t know how many songs are in your playlist anymore. You can’t easily move your songs around in the playlist. It will not stay on shuffle and you have to continue to reset it which is deeply frustrating because half the time nothing will play. The app closes all the time. The app will open and immediately close. That slider butter is not effective and difficult to navigate when touching a number in the playlist was easier if I needed to go to song 600. Now I don’t know where anything is and I can’t even search for it in my playlist as before. You keep breaking things that were working. And yes my phone has the latest software. This app however is just horribly done and not easy to navigate. This app is absolutely awfullllll. And I’m certain you won’t bother responding either.

Rate. I’ve had this app for 5+ years. I understand bugs and updates and platform changes come in with that, I used to love this app and had little to no problems, but not being able to find artists or songs in the search is def a problem, also my biggest problem is that when I put it on shuffle 70% of the time it will play 1 song then lock up I’ll have to close and refresh the app which is very frustrating when your trying to workout or work in a shop, the music quality has declined not sure for what reason and also when I go to download a playlist I made form my library it will only download maybe 50% of them even if I’m on WiFi. I’ve rocked with this app and have some dope playlists, but with other downloadable music apps out there and reviews that down have common problem’s such as these I’ve listed, I’ve been thinking of making a switch although it will be hard to do so, cause I feel like I’ve been with y’all for so long. I hope to see positive changes to these bugs soon. P.S. wouldn’t mind a tee shirt or something that be pretty cool, large plz 😀

Bring back the “Tracks” option. I noticed I am able to just play all the tracks that I have from all my music when I am on the computer, but that option is not available on the phone via the so app. Sometimes I want to be able to skim through all of my tracks instead of having to find the artist or the album. Sometimes I don’t remember the name of a song or who sings it until I see the track name. Please bring that option back via the app.

terrible update. the newest update has completely ruined this app. my music always stalls now and has trouble playing songs (unable to cast) in general, especially off wifi. Taking away the numbers and letters on the side of the playlists to quickly be able to scroll through them has been taken away which is just awful for long playlists. queue has also been changed which i understand but all of the songs i had previously added to it has been lost:(. i’ve also had trouble with the music stopping when i close the app on a few occasions. i loved this app before the newest update with a few exceptions. i personally don’t think music videos are as relevant as the music being able to work. this is a music app.

Too many glitches. This app glitches so often. We upgraded to the family subscription so we could use the app at the same time on more than one device and it worked ok for awhile and then started randomly kicking me or my kids off saying that we needed to pay for a family plan if we wanted more than one person to use it. This has been happening for months now, and I’ve been paying for that plan the whole time, with the same 4 people using it in my house. Plus it seems to crash a lot, or not let you sign in and says to try again later. This is the kind of thing I would expect from a free app, not one that I pay $20 a month for.

Needs update for IPhone X. In general I like this app, and would probably otherwise rate it four or five stars. However, the interface apparently hasn’t been updated for iPhone X and is somewhat broken. The most obvious issue is that the menu bar at the top of many of the screen is almost 3/4ths covered by the rest of the interface. For example, the menu “hamburger,” the three bars that call up the menu: Only the top bar can (barely) be seen, and can be difficult to actuate. Without pictures, it’s a little hard to describe some of the issues. Some of the icons can be difficult to actuate. For example, while you’re on the song screen, there’s a down caret in the upper left to go back to the album screen, but it’s just barely outside the “forbidden” to area to the left of the iPhone X notch. It can be pressed, but it often takes a few tries.

My favorite streaming service. High quality audio streaming (320kbps) and unmatched catalog. The search feature could be improved but there’s some really great finds if you dive deep. There’s plenty of material that other leading services don’t offer. There’s a music community where you can post and share playlists, or discover new music and like-minded friends. The alarm clock feature is sweet too! Would highly recommend this app for any fellow lover of music.

Incredible app, incredible service. This is a great product and the continuation into Apple technology of a great software product and service. I was given a copy of this program and a 2 month subscription with the purchase of a mpeg listening device a number of years ago. I remember thinking who would pay $15 a month for a service like this and planned to drop my subscription after the two month free trial. After having access to millions of songs and some obscure stuff for cello for my girlfriend, I've never left the service.

It’s all there but not everything is cool. Rarely is there a song/artist I can’t find. Deep tracks Country tracks etc etc etc. It’s really all there. That’s the good stuff. Now the other side. It sometimes will just lock up for no reason which makes me have to shut it down & restart to get it to respond. So to sum it up. Good music choices but some cliches along the way. If I didn’t have so many music song lists developed I may have moved on already

Easy to use but less repetitive shuffle. I give it high marks for getting the rights to most musical artists and including beings same day when it comes to new releases from the biggest bands. One thing that needs work is the algorithm used to shuffle the songs on my playlist. I have over 1200 songs in my playlist and like to listen on shuffle. Unfortunately, the platform does repeat songs and it sticks to a couple hundred. I don’t designate songs as “favorites” so it’s not that. I would love a true shuffle of all 1200 of my songs so I don’t have to hear repeating in this mode.

Horrific car functionality. This app has a pervasive problem with car connectivity and functioning. If you stop the car, when the app disconnects from car, it starts playing from phone speakers. When you get back in the car, it will play the last song you played (from beginning) then freeze so you have to do a hard close and reopen. Obviously not ideal for behind the wheel. Has been a problem for a very long time. I can’t believe I’m paying for such a crappy app. But since my music has been cataloged here for years, they know they don’t have to actually fix it, people don’t want to move music apps if can be avoided. It’s a super frustrating disappointment. Eventually I’ll just leave. Not a good user experience.

Fine, But needs fixes. This app is fine, and nice at some times. But there is a whole load of problems. For starters, the album art will not save if you download the album, the album will not have any album art, or really low quality album art. Another thing is that once you download an album, you can’t get the space off your phone if you delete it. So if I want to delete an album and delete it, my storage does not change. Finally, the servers are so buggy. They keep on deleting songs and having extra albums. Some albums songs have been deleted and I cannot listen to the full album. The Final Cut and The Division Bell were deleted for no reason.

It WAS amazing. I used this app forever and it was brilliant - no complaints. But literally in the last month with the new update it is glitching and now is really complicated to use. For example you cannot just see the queue anymore, hiya hey to add songs to the non-existent queue and then click on the queue to view it. Songs also replace each other and if you have a song downloaded but are using WiFi/data then the song doesn’t work. Overall it is good (these are just the complaints) but it could be better and it WAS.

Not good anymore.. Had the service for a really long time. The crashes, glitches, and getting logged out has happened almost every day for a month or so. I listen to music all day so it has been frustrating. The tech support tries to help and is responsive but the issues just come back over and over. Are the issues so bad that they cannot push updates to improve? Most applications have updates to fix bugs and stability and given it has had issues most of the year I’m not sure if it is being worked on. Again, the people handling the customer service tickets do reply to inquiries but the issues have persisted with service overall nonetheless. I am disappointed because I like the app when it works.

Long-time user beginning to feel the pull of the Apple. The app is simple to use, with a selection of almost anything I chose to listen to, robust with no issues. I would recommend it to anybody me who’s looking for a streaming music service. I would like to see a better selection of curated playlists, as a means of discovering more music, new or old. But... as we become more and more of n Apple family, I’d like to see more integration with Apple - with Siri? Apple TV? What are the chances of that? The day of reckoning is nigh for us, alas.

Top Tracks Don’t Update. Please fix the top tracks. They don’t update and start at number 1. Example the Artist “Tank” under top tracks starts at number #61 and not at #1. When you save song #1 under the top tracks by hearting your song you will not see #1 on the top tracks list because it’s not in number order since the number #1 disappear from list and start at #61. You can find song under your favorites and under the album or single tracks. Thank u

Terrible update -hope you aren’t attached to your music.. I’ve long been frustrated with song disappearing from playlists but since the last update, it’s gone from bad to worse. If you’re trying to get rid of all your customers, congratulations! You’re doing exactly what you set out to do. Playlist says it has 674 songs but stops at 400, then if you go to another spot it says there are only 400 songs. Literally just heard the last song #674 on the playlist and realized I didn’t have it set to automatically repeat and now 300 + songs are gone. Soo frustrated. Also you can’t put it in shuffle then change the song without having to put it back on shuffle again. I don’t write reviews and I’ve been a customer for something like 15 years. I’ll be switching since I can’t access the music i downloaded or the playlists I’ve created in the new app or on the web.

Could be the best music app on the market. I only give this a four star because you are supposed to be able to use this with three devises. When we bought it I called them and told them it didn't work at the same time. They said go online and register your devises. I did this. Doesn't work. Eventually read deep in to their papers and found a line reading that if one devise starts the other decide stops. Why give me three if I can only use one. And I pay more. My wife and my son are all into music in a big way. That's why I bought this. If it wasn't for that one thing, then this would be THE best music app bar none Also. Please make the radio better. Your algorithm is off.

Mostly Great with some technical issues. For the most part, this app works great with a great selection of music available. My only disappointment with the app is that I typically lose control of the album I am listening to. The album will play, but I can’t pause or stop playback without closing the app. Sometimes the album just stops after a track. I also get spontaneous shuffling or repeats. I also don’t care for the fact that after an album plays through, I get a random album starting, not from the same artist or anything from my library. It’s usually something way out there and unrelated, I have to pay attention when an album I choose is ending to stop the next random album from playing, especially when there is anyone else in hearing range like kids so I’m not suddenly surprised by a profane or screaming album. It’s embarassing because I don’t want anyone to think these random albums are something I chose. These faults are never predictable either, so I’m not sure whats happening.

Can’t Search. I don’t know what’s going on but I have never had an issue with this app until today. I can’t search for artists anymore. Whenever I search for a musician that I know is on the app, because I have their music downloaded, nothing shows up in the search results. So I can’t find my music. It is especially frustrating if I haven’t downloaded an any music from artist yet. I have no way to get to them, because nothing shows up in the search results. This is incredibly frustrating and I can’t figure out what is wrong. How am I supposed to listen to music if I can’t search the database of artists and albums that the app provides? Please fix this bug/issue.

I wanna like it. But the app is slightly broken, I cannot add albums or artists while connected to my Wi-Fi. Tried force quitting the app and opening again, artists and albums which I selected to be added to my library were not being added while on Wi-Fi. When connected to cellular data it works fine, but it was rather irritating to not be able to add the artists while connected to my own connection. The app design itself is nice, enjoy the music playback screen, and the organization is much better laid out than Apple Music. Last there is an Xbox One application? It will not even allow me to open the app without it force closing automatically. One thing I look for in a streaming service is being able to have background play while I’m playing video games. Fix the Xbox One app, and the function of the iOS app and I might think about switching to it.

New Update User Interface. Overall, I like the new update and the ability to finally add tracks to a “play next” feature. However, I’m disappointed that there is no longer an alphabet associated with the scrolling bar on the right side of the screen when looking through my various artists, albums, or songs. This was very useful to quickly find a specific artist I was looking to play where now I have to scroll all the way down the hundreds of artists I have in my music just to find the one person I want to listen to. I’m not sure why this feature would simply be taken out or if I’m missing something yet. Just wanted to bring it to the developers attention. I can’t be the only one who noticed this, right?

Works well.. Easy to use, just wish when searching tracks for building playlists would put the original song or artist with the biggest hit with said song listed first. There are a lot of crappy hip hop artists with songs of the same title that pop up first and it takes longer to build my playlist than it should. Sometimes I have to exit the search and look it up from Albums or something to find what I’m looking for. That said, the songs I want I usually find!

Great app gone bad. I’ve had this app for YEARS and I mean yeeaaarrsss. It has been amazing and a great service to have, until the past month or so when they completely updated and remodeled the app. Now all it does is crash, delete my playlists, and crash and crash and crash. I mean I can’t even open my profile without the app crashing. I click on a playlist, crash. I try to search an artist, crash. Sometimes, the music just doesn’t play at all! And it takes me closing and reopening the app time and time again hoping the problem suddenly works one time. It usually doesn’t. My suggestion, whatever they did to change the app, just change it back. It’s practically useless now.

Completely unusable. I literally have not been able to get the app to work once in over 2 months since the new update. The app crashes as soon as it opens, it won’t play any music or it plays one song and the crashes, and now this week the app is just an entirely black screen that won’t load and crashes after 30 seconds. It’s really frustrating that I’ve had to pay for the last 2 months of my subscription when you’ve caused the app to not even be usable or even attempted to fix it. I’m just throwing money in the trash at this point. I’ve had this subscription for almost 15 years now and I’ve never had issues like this. I’m about to just cancel my subscription and go somewhere else if this doesn’t get fixed. I’m not going to pay for another month when I can’t even use the service I pay for.

Going Good For Now. Update: Please fix the favorites section. It doesn’t refresh anymore in your downloads section but it does it in your library section which is really annoying. This app has had its bumps along the road but things have been running as smoothly as can be expected on this ever-changing iOS platform. I do like it and I like the layout of the downloaded tracks category with album covers beside songs. Unfortunately, the search function is still horrible. If you so much as miss a letter it won’t recognize what you’re looking for. Even then, it’s still hard to find certain songs even though they actually have the song in their catalog if you look hard enough. And I’ve noticed lately that they don’t have as much music as some other services. It’s usually not high profile music, just some random songs. For instance, I wanted this Psy song (not Gangdem Style, hate that song) and they didn’t have it though they have some of his other songs. Little things like that make me wanna switch sometimes but I’m gonna see how it goes for now. Hope things improve.

Downloaded vs. playlists. This app keeps deleting all of my downloads. Third time this year. If I’m gonna have to keep making a downloaded library I might as well do it on another app. As a customer my time is valuable. The service department does not seem to actually read my report of what’s wrong and want ms to keep talking about playlists that I don’t even use. Then they tell me to make a playlist of downloaded songs… well I don’t have downloaded songs because the app keeps deleting the downloaded songs. Only the dumbest support team would tell me to make a playlist of my downloaded music, while I’m complaining about not having downloaded music anymore. I thought I rode the short bus and licked the windows, but no it seems to be this app and the schnoz berries are in season.

Where did my music go?. Opened the app today to find out it had been updated. Kind of difficult to navigate when I'm used to the old format. I went to go and download a recently released EP and it's not showing up in my downloaded albums. When I click on the tracks section, all of my music appears but I can't listen to a whole album or EP. Just one track at a time. Very irritating. Half of my downloaded albums won't appear in the album section of the app. I don't know what's wrong. If someone has any tips on how to fix this problem that would be great. Other than that the app has been pretty awesome.

Not happy. This update has done nothing except cause me frustration. I have had this service for such a long time and NEVER have I ever been so frustrated with an update. This one doesn’t allow me to scroll to the number of the song I want to listen to. It doesn’t allow me to just select a song and go. I have to push it and then wait… then push it again and wait… and then most times go and attempt again. Many times I get mad and shut the app off. This is bad since I'm paying a fee to listen to music. Fix this ASAP. PLEASE!!!!

Almost perfect. So far I’ve found a few songs that were not available, but for the most part I can find what I’m looking for. My biggest pet peeve with this app is that you can’t search by title or artist within your own playlist. This drives me crazy. Also when you delete a song from your playlist, it doesn’t fully go away and it will still play if you have your playlist on random play.

I’m in so much love with you guys.. I have to admit, when I began this service a few years ago I would cut off and tweak here and there, but I stuck through and I have to admit, it has been my bestest friend in lonely situations. Highly recommend for everyone to get this app and service. Last thing, It’s a lifesaver when I camp on the mountains where there’s no signal for crap. Download all your favorite albums and BOOM. Best music app EVER!!!!. Enjoy the ability to access the archive of music regardless to the genre. Being a huge fan of 70's soul R&B I appreciate the benefits of having artist entire list of albums. Marvin Gayes "I Want You" Varities Edition would be awesome if you brought it back!!!! And if you by chance find Allstar (Starlito) old albums you’d be rate “ten” stars. Cataloging artist such as the fore mentioned and Don Trip (Christopher 2018 and Introversion 2015) not listed correctly.

Great app, never had any problems!. I’ve been using this app for about 5-6 years now and i’ve never had problems with the app whatsoever. This app contains everything I want in a music app and even more than imagined. I recommend this 10/10 to my friends who ask about it! For $10, you get everything you want! My favorite feature is that you can exit the app without the music cutting off. Love the app, great job!

Worst update ever- ruined it!!. The July 2022 update is the worst thing this app has ever done. They took away the best thing it had going for it! In the old app, a search for an artist resulted in a top songs result that was listed in order starting with most popular. That feature is gone and you have to look through all the listed albums to find the song you want! Also, they removed the numbers by each song in your playlist which makes editing and shuffling harder. I’m looking into moving to another music app. Whoever did this app update needs to find another job.

One of the best, If not The Best. This app is the best music app or one of the top ones. Yes, I said it. You may have not even heard about this app before. It does everything great and keeps constant updates to keep the community satisfied. I have had it 3 years and have had 1 semi major problem that ain’t really that important. It’s that some lesser known older songs or new lesser known songs don’t have a track on this app. Other than that this app does everything great!

Review for Apple CarPlay feature. *I know it’s a new feature* but the feature is incomplete... 1) Unable to skip songs unless directly using phone. 2) Unable to see current song, now playing button on home screen just opens apple music. 3) Would like to be able to individually select songs within a playlist rather than it automatically just start playing the playlist. 4) When you turn the car off while music is playing then disconnect the phone the music starts playing through the phone speaker.

I love making my own playlist. It’s like having my favorite songs on a radio station without having to listen to ads. I like it when I can also hear songs and artists that are similar to what I’ve chosen on my playlists and then add the songs if I like them. I always chose to scramble, so it’s always different every time I listen.

Still good after all these years.. I will say that this is still one of the best music apps out there. They have a deep back catalog and plenty of curated selections to dive into. Where it falls short now is the ability to share playlists with others and the ability to listen on other devices. Also appreciate the updates and regular changes to the app. I think it would get to five stars if they could incorporate an Apple Watch function and also allow it to connect to more devices.

Please fix the update. I have been a customer for many years since I 2017, I love the app but recently these has been errors. Recently after the update, I never had this case of loosing my songs, constantly getting logged out, and unable to sign in after that. I frequently get my music interrupted and log of while listening to music. This is hard especially when I jam out with my friends and to help me with my disability. Please fix this issue, it would mean a lot to us.

Most Used App.... The app is pretty cool, with a decent setup. Everything is easy and self explanatory. I have never experienced any issues with it at all. I’ve been using this app at least once a day, but mostly off & on all day long, for a few years now. Idk what I’d do without it...it has just about every single artist/band with nearly any song you could think of. I don’t plan on getting rid of it any time soon. It’s 100% worth what I pay for it!

Good stuff!. What a selection! Stream, save to your device(s) listen offline, fun for the whole family on all our devices. 4.8 stars bc it could use some improvements in the radio / artist section. While on Apple car play unable to search content odd and perhaps Apple play issue. Please fix. Love it and I due to the Apple play issue I have to use Bluetooth connection.

iPad dreams. I struggle with manipulating and editing my music. I can’t do anything with my favorites list. It is my default selection. It is sooo eclectic that I can’t use it without constantly skipping to maintain a mood. I can’t move similar genres together or even improve on the arrangement. I also struggle device to device with offline. I don’t really want to download every song but I don’ seem to have a quick way to just get to that list. Are there any tutorials in case I just haven’ t mastered the app?

Please Change It. This new update that happened about a week ago is awful. I dislike it so much. It has logged me out 3 times in the past 4-5 days. When I finally do get back into my account and go to my playlist, there are no songs. I have to sign out and sign back in. I liked having the little numbers off to the right of my playlist because I could jump to a certain spot in the playlist. I also liked being able to repeat/restart a song by hitting the back button. PLEASE FIX IT!

No one’s perfect, but this is good and who wants to support an oligarch?. More songs than anyone. Decent interface. However, I’d like to be able to search on two variables rather than just one, and sometimes an album won’t show up under the artist, but will if you search specifically for the album. But overall, compared to everyone else, I’m happy. And who wants to give more money to the oligarchs-Amazon, Apple, etc.

Love it. Mostly. It is easy to find the music you love. Compile a playlist or listen to your favorites. I love having it!! The mostly comes in two ways. One; if you want to explore it’s a little hard to find “like music” (where other apps give you stations; the stations on here seem limited) and when you have recents I wish there was a way to “pin” them. So if I stray into different things in my music I can go back to my everyday needs. Overall no matter how tempting other music apps are people are jealous of my app and I wouldn’t trade it.

The search function is not my friend.. The music catalog is pretty good, even though some songs disappear on this platform )that I can still find elsewhere) with no explanation. The app itself works well, but the search function does not. Even after multiple resets, I can’t get the search function on my iPhone app to work. It’s frustrating to the point where I’m considering canceling. I can still search using the app on my iPad, but it doesn’t work at all on my phone.

Still not fixing a dangerous crashing problem. This update still has the issue of crashing after playing a song or 2 after reconnecting to bluetooth. And I can’t find where to reply to the developer who commented on my last review but my husband already contacted customer support (as I said in my last review) and they were no help. The issue is happening while driving which makes this app dangerous! I cannot be fighting with my app while I’m trying to drive so I end up driving in silence until I can get to where I can fix it.

They have done their job. As a developer myself I can tell you that if you don’t have a vision for your product and have a road that is going to lead you somewhere you will find yourself left behind. These guys have a solid product offering that includes a radio channel and a auto tuning feature to make your music sound as good as possible on whatever speakers you are connected to. Keep up the good work.

The Best. I’ve been using this app for about 7-8 years. It never gives me problems, it has just about every song you can think of, it’s easy to use, and you can make as many playlists as you want. You can also download full playlists (as many as you want), so you can listen to them without using data. It’s the best music app out there!

I like it. I’ve been a user for many years. I’d personally just like to see a few features such as, •Having a search option for your downloaded music •A better/ easier way to recover downloaded music when getting a new phone. For example, I upgraded my phone a few days after Christmas and I’m still downloading music that I previously had downloaded (current date 3/3/19) and I’m still not done downloading music I had. (To be fair I have more than 4,000 songs to re-download.)

Crashes a lot and continues to change. I’ve had this app for a long time, and ever since they updated it, it crashes CONSTANTLY. It stops playing songs for no reason, so you have to go back and open the app again in order for songs to play. Sometimes it’ll crash so hard that it’ll log you out of your account completely. When this happens, it also removes all your downloads, so you have to go back and download EVERYTHING you had before. I’m just gonna start burning cd’s to my computer again, it’s not worth the frustration

Love the App. I’ve had this App for 10 years or more. I like being able to listen to the music I love for one price per month. I admit that the only drawback is that after one of the updates some artists that I had downloaded were no longer accessible. That was puzzling. Plus, this app does not have many popular artists or their work is not complete.

App not working since update. Since the new update, music isn’t playing, I keep getting a white box popping up from bottom of screen that says “unable to cast”. I’ve uninstalled and it still doesn’t work properly. I’ve been a long time listener and this is the first time there has been this much issue. Sometimes we shouldn’t fix things that aren’t broken.

Best app for music lovers!. Love this app, I’ve had it for years and never had any issues, the developers do an amazing job at keeping the app updated and bug free. Endless amount of music with playlists to create to your liking. Just wish they had more independent artists (the underground ones or upcoming artists) not just mainstream/ semi popular ones. Definitely worth the membership!!!!

Strong app but not visually. The upgrade has a lot going for it, and I really enjoy the selection of music. I personally love that I can listen to whatever I want because I could never afford my current music library. I wish that the recently listened to history would let you play all versus having to open up each song. Other than that it’s great!

Love it. Used this app for 11 yrs. best investment ever. I have all my music from then till now and am constantly adding to that collection. All the new music hits the app shortly after being released. You can make your own playlist and download all your music to your devices so there’s no interruptions due to lack of service. Definitely give it two thumbs up!!!! I use it religiously and plan to always do so.

Absolutely my favorite. This is my only music streaming service that I’ve been using for over 8 years. No annoying ads gets straight to the track I want without having to listen to other unsolicited music. Unlimited skips and dependable constant streaming. My go-to every single day. Thank you !!!

Don’t Buy it. I’ve had this service for MANY years and it was great for a long time. Until they did a upgrade over a month ago there have been several glitches such as the music just randomly stopping. Very difficult to resume play. Hesitates to select a new song. And after a phone call or a text the music will stop and not resume (which it did before the software upgrade) I’ve emailed and reported the situation over a month ago. Tried to delete the app and many other trouble shooting steps and still no resolution. Don’t waste your money on this app. Sadly they don’t care to fix the problem.

Latest update is a disaster. I’ve been a subscriber since the beginning. It’s never been a super robust app but the latest updates have caused really annoying instability (long pauses between songs, frequent song stoppages, need to press play multiple times to get it to play). And the latest update is a disaster. My favorites and playlists have been wiped and I struggle to even login. Something is very wrong with the developer and if they don’t fix very soon I’ll have to cancel. Can’t pay for nothing.

What happened to this app?. I’ve had this app for around 10 years never had one problem. Ever since the update last month it’s constantly frozen and took for er to be able to use. Now it’s permanently frozen on a black screen that just shows a play button and has been for about a week. I can’t use this app at all that’s how frozen it is. I used to talk this app up all the time to people talking about how great it is and that it has more than Apple Music and have always said I’ll never use another music app but since the update it’s absolutely horrible and completely frozen. Anyone else having this issue?

Bring back Basic Equalizer!. Not all listening devices are created Equal! One-Size, does NOT fit all. And most mid-range and low cost listening devices provide little to no equalizer features. My musical tastes encompass a wide and eclectic range of musical genres. This requires a way to adjust the high, mid, and/or low tones in order to achieve best listening experience. Who are you to decide that for me?!! It’s one of the main reasons I’ve stuck with this streaming service. A subscription I pay for, that now provides less features for same amount of $. How is that better? (It’s a rhetorical question)

Great music subscription & download service. I've been using this music service in its various incarnations for 14 years. Very functional, great selection, very good app design. Allows download for off-line listening. Shuffle isn't any better than iTunes though: keeps playing same track sequence, unless you select first track yourself. These music services should hire a math undergrad intern to develop a good pseudorandom generator with clock-based re-seeding: it's not hard at all!!

Duplicate Songs in favorites. Hello, I love using this app. I have for about 8 years now. The amount of songs and genres I have found over the years is amazing. I never had a problem with the app till now. In my Favorite Song category it will duplicate the songs. I will scroll down towards the bottom, then songs will start to duplicate and won’t show the rest of the songs I have favorited. I took a screenshot for you guys but it won’t allow me to add it. Please update the app to fix the bugs.

EARPRINT! Plz bring it back 😢. The earprint feature was the most impressive feature I’ve experienced on a music app. The crashing didn’t bother me ( I feel like it’s better now) bc my sound quality was so amazing! It changed my listening experience for life and then they took it away. I’ve been a customer for 5+ years and I’ve contacted support numerous times to request for the return of this feature. I don’t enjoy this app as much now and I’m holding on in hopes that I’ve day they’ll listen. 😔

Most recent update is terrible!!!. Likely switching music apps after the last update completely changed the quality of this app. Most of the songs you try to play give an error message of “unable to cast.” Further, you used to be able to use on “offline” mode with a downloaded album if another person was using the app on another device, but now it kicks you off even then. My husband has used this app for approximately 15 years. Time to switch.

V8.0 is HORRIBLE. Obviously no testing done prior to release. Stations will only play 5 songs then repeat. Restart app and then it’s another 5 songs. App freezes, crashes, etc. unresponsive and slow. Maybe make sure your app works before hyping it up as the latest and greatest. Plus the recommendations on the home page are always just some new top pop 40 crap flavor of the week, not what would actually be recommended based on my stations and library (I’m 100% classic rock, why would you recommend nothing but new top pop 40 garbage????)

Latest update bricked the app. I was excited when I saw that they finally released an update that fixed the bugs, and I opened the app and, while still very slow, it was at least usable. After closing out though, the app will not start back up. It instead goes into a state where the play function is on screen but no inputs are available, and when you leave the app and go back in it instantly crashes. I didn’t think it would get worse than the last update to 8.0, but it did. Please either release version 7 again so the app is usable or fix this ASAP.

They managed to make it worse. The way it was before was perfectly fine. With this new update songs won’t play, and even if they do. Be ready for them to stop half way so you have to restart the song or the app. No scroll bar so now you have to manually scroll through EVERYTHING. But don’t worry, at least the music works when your phone is constantly on. If your phone shuts off for any reason, so will the app. So it saves you battery I guess. Which means unless I keep my phone awake 24/7 Music is not happening. Thank you for the most inconvenient app I have ever used. I’m deleting this and never using it again.

Search by song. It would be nice to be able to search a song even if it isn’t the rite title or misspelled! It would almost work like the you tube platform which also brings me to my next suggestion to be able to play videos! All in all I love your service and have it for many years and have used it almost every day!!

Fix this!. I’ve had this app for years, and have never had any issues with it. The recent update however, changed the interface of the little icon on my phone’s lock screen. Now when I play music, the rewind button can no longer be found. Instead, there is a button that allows users to add the track to their favorites. It’s essentially useless. It’s very frustrating to have to open the app during a run, or whatever the case may be, just to move backwards in an album or to replay a song. Please consider reversing this change.

Needs some work.. The shuffle feature is awful, I have a 1500 song playlist that I try to shuffle through and I swear every time I do it, I hear the same songs every time The search feature is annoying and not easy or forgiving there is nothing to help you find new music either without searching around on other people’s playlists or manually going through new releases. There should be something that makes playlists for you based on your own playlists/ listening history it is also annoying that you cannot delete songs from playlists easily! When I’m listening to my playlist, I want to be able to remove and delete songs, instead of manually going into the playlist and finding its location and then using the edit button to delete it

Fun. I like the interface and I like the selections and the curated lists. The interface took a bit to get used to but now I like it. There is always something to choose from. The program is pretty flawless: I never have any problems. I wish I could organize my library with tags. Playlists are good but I like complete albums. I wish there were more reviews and more info about albums and musicians. I use this almost daily and never have any problems!

I hate the new update. I used to have this at 5 stars until the new update. My favorites list and playlist I created over the past 5+ years no longer shows up anymore. Whenever I try to search for any song or artist it doesn’t work. It shows one of my playlist but when I click on that playlist it doesn’t show any songs. I deleted the app, turned off my phone, readded the app and it still isn’t working. I just won’t be downloading on my phone and just use the one on my tablet which is inconvenient to having to take it everywhere.

Wack. I was a member for about five years. One day I put a hold on my payment because I couldn’t afford it for a couple of days. When I logged back on my payment was cleared for the usual amount but when I went to listen to music it would cut off after a short clip to tell me I could listen to the song if I paid about $4 more a month. I’m pretty salty that they took my money first and gave the illusion that I would get full service. They pretty much robbed me of what I paid because I then canceled my subscription. I was a loyal customer for so long and told my friends about the service but they really tricked me for a $4 come up.

Annoyed😒. So I got this app thinking that it would be my new favorite music app from all the good reviews from my friends but for some reason when I get it I get sooooooooooo annoyed. So basically I created a playlist with all my favorite songs and I start playing it but 5 seconds later a thing pops up so I exit out of it but then it happenens like 20 in the next 30 seconds and I get tooo annoyed even if I go onto my home page my music will stop and say that I should but this thing where I have to pay $10 a month. I don’t want to waste money on a dumb app. I know I may sound dumb but just make it so it doesn’t do that pleeeaaasssee!!!

Great app! Love the constant updates!. Great way to get the music I need for the right occasion! I just don't like that a lot of songs have just disappeared off some playlists, like the number of tracks doesn’t match the number of songs. But other than that amazing! Oh and I like the update, thx for fixing the numbered track thing.

Great, But Missing Features. This app is great. we have been using it for a long long long time. However, there’s no good way to organize music already in a playlist, so if you find new music ever (which most people do) everything ends up totally disorganized. That needs to be an in playlist search function or an option to organize inside a playlist by song title, artist or album title. It’s a nightmare to have to go through 1,000 songs individually and i always end up with doubles, which is not fun.
