Inexplicably Denies Service. I paid the $1.99 which should have been the once and done fee. There was no delineated trial, no odd parameter that seemed worrisome. I did not even have it a week and it stopped. It also claims my Apple ID has/had no subscription. The only option other than wifi is to upgrade and the customer service asked what the problem is. I have had to write to them repeatedly on this. Several aspects of phone function like updates are constantly cycling and repeating or not working correctly. I’ve sent them screenshots and since they are expert enough to set up this network and have the computer skills I think they know what they’re doing. Especially since the box for Apple ap store pay info has altered and keeps asking about the credit card I used as a way to block updates.

Sadly. This review is an update to my last review. We have used the “Ghost” for more than a year. Living in Florida, my Italian wife of 55 years and I have strong ties to Italy. Every evening, emphasis on the word “every”, we, at 7:00pm, activated the Ghost and watched exceptionally well done, Italian programs. That is until last week. When I activated the Ghost, I could not lock on to any server in Milano or Roma. No matter which one I selected, it would default to one server in Milano. When, using that IP address, I tried to open the RAI app and got the message saying, in effect, “you are not in Italy”. For us, this is really sad. That said, I am puzzled that I can’t select any of the listed IP addresses. In selecting an IP address, I have not yet tried to open the RAI app or web address. As for the Ghost, we have been very impressed with its rock solid performance, ease of use and stability. Excellent. If you need VPN, we highly recommend it

Love this VPN. I recently moved to Europe from the US and couldn’t stream my favorite shows and movies. Then I had the added risk of using an open network at free WiFi spots. I’m so glad I found this service as otherwise I had to plan when to do online banking around when I had access to a secure network. Now I can always have access to a secure network and stream my favorite shows. You have no idea the joy being able to view my favorite shows means. It’s a little piece of home when I’m so far away from family, friends and all that was familiar to me.

Good app, poor service. I’m going to abandon this service, and forget about any lost payments. The app’s user interface is adequate but their database is screwed. One of my devices worked fine, the others can’t connect to the VPN itself with the SAME credentials. On those devices, I can log in, but the app tells me I must have a subscription, which I already have. CberGhost Support tells me to contact ZenMate support, because after those two merged, CyberGhost inherited those customers. ZenMate support does not exist any more. 🤷‍♂️ As of a few days ago, the device that was working is now bumping into CloudFlare issues. Spend your money elsewhere, people. This isn’t the VPN you’re looking for.

Weird activity...and one complain... I was trying out the free trial, when I noticed the area in the settings that tells you how many devices are in use, said 3/7 when only one device was in use. Either you guys are lying on purpose, or somethings wrong. It came off sketchy, though. I retracted my subscription as soon as as saw it. Can’t trust your service to be honest, then why should I go further, you know? Hopefully, it’s just a glitch. The only other complain was that I couldn’t switch to another server in the same city without having to disconnect. And since I can’t see server loads, I didn’t know which to pick once I disconnected, and letting it pick the “best location” would always pick my city, which I didn’t want. The whole point of a vpn is to switch locations.

Didn’t know what I was missing. I am glad I made the purchase. I purchased it initially for my workstation but then later added it to my mobile devices. The iOS version has worked well on my iPhone SE on iOS 12.1.2 and my iPhone 10s Max on iOS 13.1. It has allowed me to bypass network content filters, hotspot limits, and ISP streaming throttles. Thanks for a great iOS app! The only feature request I have would be to add the ability to switch servers without having to disconnect and then choose the server. The Windows version allows this but the iOS version does not.

I switched to ExpressVPN and it WORKS! Cyber Ghost does not.. I can only get on the internet if I disable cyber ghost. As soon as I turn it on, my wifi connection cuts off. Tried cyber ghost on my iPhones 5, 5S, 8 and iPad and the issue persists across the board. Got a brand new Galaxy S10 and installed this crap and was horrified that I couldn't stream anything. The screen would buffer and buffer and every once in a while (like 10th try) I would actually get more than a black screen - an image or half a sentence, but then it would be buffering again. Bought ExpressVPN and all my devices work beautifully!!! SO FAST AND EFFORTLESS!!! And of course cyber ghost refuses to refund my expensive 3 year plan!!! If you are reading this - save yourself from this scam and head right over to ExpressVPN and don't lose your money for nothing!!!

Frankfurt germany. I love this vpn it’s incredibly fast and easy to use but i have 2 problems with it for some reason out of nowhere it will automatically connect to frankfurt germany and completely disrupt my connectivity. And my second problem is it sometimes does not recognize me as purchased the full vpn even tho i spent $90+ on the vpn. I cannot give it a full 5 stars until these to issues are resolved i recomend to the CyberGhost team to make sure that app never fails to recognize a full purchased user and make it so the app never changes locations or turns itself off without the user physically doing so.

Light, easy to setup and its working !!. I am using this on couple of my apple devices, yes its working fine. Its a lightweight tool, easy to setup, configure and use. Tried multiple vpn options and most of them are working. However, if you don’t disconnect and the system goes to sleep mode, after the system wake up it blocks all the connections including the internet. The only option to restore is to quit or kill the app and then re-launch. This is a little hassle but they can fix it or improve it in the future releases/patches.

Nice apps across all devices. I decided to get a VPN app after I read that a VPN could help me keep my data more secure. I didn't know much about different options and what distinguishes them from each other, but after a relatively thorough research I figured that CyberGhost ticks the majority of boxes I needed. I paid for 3 years to get the lowest monthly price, and so far I don't regret it. The app works well on the phone, iPad, and my laptop, and I was able to stream a couple of videos pretending to be in other countries. No complaints!

Good App so Far. Great app easy to use and have had no real issues or problems as of yet since subscribing to this app. I like that I can run a test before getting on the internet to make sure that I am linked into your servers and that my I.p address isn’t showing. And this is just an update app still works wonderfully easy and it’s giving me access to those HTTP addressThat normally I’d be on able to access being a United States citizen but now with the help of goes to VPN I’m able to access those sites such as perfect moneyAnd other currency exchange sites that normally I’d be unable to access

New interface - not a fan. I was really quite pleased with the previous version, as a new user it seemed simple and intuitive yet gave plenty of options. I particularly liked that it gave you visual feedback that it was protecting you while using various specific feature (streaming vs. surfing). Behold this new "simpler" interface which is basically no interface at all. You now have virtually NO control over what the app does and somewhat limited control over location picking. I wasn't looking for the change, and the old interface was perfect. Why the change? Also, warning for new users - the set-up for the app is NOT intuitive, the purchase to setting up a user ID to getting the app to function required about 15 minutes on line with a tech support rep. Nothing to do with the app itself per se, more how the purchase to launch process is...complicated.

Not all that reliable. The iPhone has a built in VPN indicator that shows when a vpn is active or not active. The app also has a notification system that notifies you when the vpn is active and when it deactivates (unreliable). The main issue is that the vpn will disconnect frequently. It will disconnect when you don’t have your phone unlocked or simply if you use your phone for to long. Every time you unlock you phone or every once in a while you use the app the vpn symbol will pop up on the iPhone screen indicating that it was off and just turned on. The whole point of a vpn is to be continually on, not to turn off when less activity occurs. I contacted customer service they were fast and respectful but did not have a solution for the problem. I have to give it one start because the app kinda works but you can’t kinda have good security.

Poor Performance. I got Ghost due to my trip overseas Dec 2019. I wanted an extra layer of protection for internet connection on the hotel wifi. The mobile version of Ghost, cuts in and out. If your phone goes to sleep Ghost goes to sleep, which fine. Yet, when the phone wakes up, Ghosts blocks the very WiFi you need to connect, thus forcing the user to disable Ghost. In order to disable Ghost, you basically have to delete the app, as it basically controls the IPhone 8 Plus VPN. After you’ve done all that, then you can connect back to the wifi, reinstall Ghost, and turn it on for VPN protection. Once connected on the mobile WiFi, expect delays. Also expect Ghost to not always pick the closet VPN. I’m in Los Angeles for the weekend.. Ghost had my VPN in Atlanta, GA? Yet, there’s a few VPN locations near by. Look I get it. It’s software and every phone is different. Yet, they present themselves as if their software works well regardless of the hardware. The worst part is their tech support... they hide behind emails and Tweets. Yet, they force you buy their service for the laptop... which it works way better than mobile. Frankly, if you need a VPN, explore other options. The information I read on PC Magazine’s website about them, is barely holding up... by strings.

Multi-Device and Choice of Location. I like having the single cyberghost account that lets me have up to 5 devices. I like being able to select my VPN exit location, whether in the US or in multiple countries within the world. Some locations are optimized for streaming or downloading. I have experienced difficulties when a network requires an additional login after initial connection (e.g. at a hotel). I have to turn off cyberghost and then connect to the network. The pop-up page is prevented from appearing. It is not a show stopping issue, just an inconvenience.

Does work from within China. If you’re a user in the US and want to access content in China, this app is great for that purpose. It worked quite well when I was in America. But I was counting on it to work the other way also — I wanted to access American content while I was in China. Well, so far it hasn’t been able to do that. Even when I restart my phone and re-install the app, it is super slow and keeps telling me I have no Wi-Fi connection, even though I’m connected to Wi-Fi. I wish there had been some warning when I bought my subscription that I wouldn’t be able to use it from within China. Major bummer.

Cyber Ghost Works Great. I’ve only been using this App for about 4 months now; it works great for me, if I don’t like being in the same area as the day before, I just tap one button and finds a new location. It is super simple, it definitely does what it’s supposed to do, best of all it gives you peace of mind and makes you feel safer being on the “World Wide Web”. If you’ve ever been Hacked before; had your banking information stolen and a months paycheck, then a horrible Worm was put on my phone and computer, this is part of the solution you need to protect your cyber information. I’d recommend this App to everyone to use. Thank you for this App and making me feel much safer.

A Must Have Travel Companion. Whether it be frequenting your favorite coffee shop, public WiFi, or traveling about, a VPN is essential to protect your IT devices and personal information. And CyberGhost works well across nearly all devices; I use it on my Mac, iPhone, and Surface pro. I travel often, from visiting family to exploring Europe, and it has proven invaluable... coffee shops and hotels are rife with information thieves and hijackers; yes, they're often sitting there in your favorite Starbucks running wireless sniffer... and more and more financial institutions are blocking foreign access to their websites, even apps, and it's often critical to maintain regular access to such sites when living abroad. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the billing as, despite setting up pre-approved payments, I regularly get notified of failed payments and I have to manually resubmit.

So far so good!. New to the app. Had NordVPN which is good. But I’m on a limited budget reasonable monthly plan, and I was having some connection issues with Nord. What I like with Ghost is more control when I use it, saves battery/data etc. and the speed when I use it. Actually if I’m having an issue with speed, I’ve found turning it on has improved my download speed when trying to do something. It automatically comes on when my phone is trying to sign on public WiFi. So far I’m impressed and happier with this VPN/Security software then any I’ve used in the past. :-)

Useless, a total waste of money and computer resources. My cyber abuser hacked through this system in two days. I'd gotten a 2-year contract for 5 devices. I'd put it only on this iPad until I saw what it did—which is at best nothing since for all I know he converted it into a gateway for easier access. The connection blinked off and on for a while. I assume he was working on decoding the program because when a steady connection resumed, he was in. He's been in ever since. The vpn is still logged as working and active (ha ha) in settings. I did not bother putting it on any of my other devices and did not bother reviewing it till now because it's got so many high reviews (from appreciative hackers masquerading as their would-be victims?) I'm out the money and, worse, out of faith that anything out there works to stop hackers who know how to hack.

Safety and security. I am a victim of identity theft - you have no idea how that feels like until you have to go through the process of having to dispute things and issue you didn’t have to deal with. To get an VPN it took me quite a while to make the decision after intense research I made a decision to go with CyberGhost - I am so happy with my decision; I feel at ease accessing my my record and doing business online - bonus is you have up to 7 devices to have covered. I highly recommend this app - it works well with other secure apps.

I feel protected!. The service is great and the price is awesome for those on a budget. As a student, public WiFi is where I spend most of my time on the internet to surf and look up useful study information. With the addition of a VPN service, though not 100% foolproof, gives me the chance to feel a bit more protected when checking bank accounts and personal emails and such. I do wish that the app provided more opportunities to pick and choose locations of where I can connect to. The interface is simple and easy to navigate though.

This would have a 5 star rating except for the fact that it completely crashed me phone.. I started using a VPN because of all the data links. CyberGhost is one of the top rated. So of course I’m paying the subscription fee. I turned my VPN on last night and it crashed my internet entirely. I could not use my WiFi, my internet, nothing. The only app that would load was Facebook. I called my phone company and they did everything they could. Also, I couldn’t turn the VPN off because you have to have internet connection to use it. But the VPN itself was blocking my own internet and it was apparently a vicious cycle. I had to delete the app in order for my internet to work. I just paid for my month subscription and now I’m not even sure I want to continue using this specific company. I would love it if someone from cyberghost could reach out to me.

Terrible. I needed a VPN to watch my shows while studying abroad and I literally can’t even stream my shows without constant freezing and loading screens. My internet (which works perfectly fine when I don’t have the VPN on) suddenly doesn’t work at all (can’t even send text messages) and when i want to turn the VPN off again i can’t even get into the app; it just takes me to the app’s loading screen. The only way to turn off the VPN is to delete and redownload the app, which is ridiculous. Then i have to restart my wifi, reconnect, redownload the VPN and restart it and then the whole battle starts all over again. On a very rare good day i can maybe watch one episode of one show with a little bit of freezing here and there. That’s it. Since this is a paid service you would think that it would actually work but nope. I’ve had the VPN since March and i have barely even used it because 1. It makes watching my shows sooo irritating and 2. Even if i keep it on just for general protection I can’t even do simple things like send a text or surf my social media feed. Completely worthless. Ridiculous. Waste of money. Do not get this app.

Really good. The VPN is awesome the app even helps make things easier when you are looking for help in streaming. It truly is a top rate VPN that offers everything you need in a VPN. My only complaint is the router support. I did reach out to them and they told my they don’t have a work around for all routers but mostly it seems that if you flash your router then you can use one of their supported programs to run the VPN tunnel on your router. Chalk it up to user error or not having enough experience with routers but other then that it’s a great app. I would give it 4.5 but can’t so here we are.

Super Broken after io14. Since the last iOS update I’ve found CyberGhost has a serious bug that legit locks your phone from connecting to any network until you uninstall the app. No amount of force closing, airplane mode to error out the app, or rebooting your iPhone will fix it. How to replicate this issue, turn on your VPN and be on ios14. Almost as often as connecting it gets in a state where no matter what you do it will constantly reconnect, but never connect. It’ll error, attempt a reconnect, and that’s it that’s your life until you uninstall the app once it’s hit this broken state. I’m not the only person I know who has experienced this. Others I’ve recommended the app to me have asked why the very same thing keeps happening to them after updating. The two constants in the issue: CyberGhost and ios14

Tried Several VPN - CyberGhost took it. I tried Surfshark, ExpressVPN, PrivateVPN, etc, all had strengths, here is how I prioritized : 1) WILL IT Connect in places that I usually go 2)Does customer service respond to questions 3) is it US based or protected by oversea turn-over fishing laws 4) Modern encryption 5) Price I was down to ExpressVPN, but they are much more expensive if you have a family of 3 to use because of limited devices. Surfshark was great price and features, but wouldn't connect to a couple of important locations. Cyberghost had a couple of issues, but their service responded immediately :)

Extremely Glitchy. The state of this software is unacceptable for the cost and promise of a secure connection. I find myself constantly having to manually restart the VPN even when it is set to auto connect. Their customer service is good, but you would think after years of the company running this platform I wouldn’t have to report issues that should be the bread and butter of a VPN service. It will also occasionally disrupt any/all internet connections until I restart my phone. I paid for a 3yr subscription so I’m locked in. Once that’s over I will be finding a different VPN.

Don’t waste your money.... I’ve used this for a year after paying the $70 for a yearly subscription. During that year, those app has been sporadically useful at best. At it’s worst, it made my phone useless. When it would connect, it worked just fine. But that’s the problem. Most of the time it was searching for a server or would connect to one overseas that would make using the internet like you were using late 90’s dialup. Other times, I would have to reboot my phone multiple times a day just to get a connection. When I reported these problems, the response was “delete the app then reinstall.” That work for all of a day then the problems returned. When my subscription expires in a day, I will definitely not be wasting any more of my money on this garbage app and I suggest you do the same.

Cyber Ghost Works Really Well for Us!. I moved to Mexican & couldn’t access my Pandora Music account because they don’t offer Pandora in Mexico. And Pandora has been programming my music according to my taste in music - which took a while for it to do. So I got Cyber Ghost to hook up to servers in the US to be able to access my account. I also use it to access surcharge results in the US - because Mexico forces me into their search categories which are typically in Spanish - or not as informative as I get from the US…

Choppy Speeds. Granted just recently they just released a software update. FYI Security application on iOS device has reduced internet speed when not using private WiFi. Only basing off on cell towers. Modified settings however upon motion detection on video services or watching live feed become choppy. Changed other cities closer or that would have better connectivity. Reset both applications including re-logging onto accounts. Took the necessary precautions to change password to prevent cyber intrusions. Any other suggestions would be highly appreciative. In addition just made various attempts to contact support to report a problem under the application however unsuccessful but found other alternatives to the problem to reach out. I love the app but I deleted it and now it’s taking money from me. Hey I just want to say that your app did help me from people not looking through my stuff, but I never realized that my money was getting taken away from me. I once had 14 dollars and now I only have 1 dollar because I never notice. Now it’s taking money from me when I already had the app deleted so can you please give me my money back because I wanted to download a game but I needed to pay and I didn’t have enough because the app was taking money from me. So can you please give me my money back if you have the time and I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s a great app, but I just want my money back.👍🏼🙏

Just Leave Me Alone!. I have nothing to hide. However, sick and obsessive people are abusing gps dots, trackers and more against people they don’t personally know but want to know more about. If you don’t have the confidence, courage or sanity to meet people in a natural manner, stalking and following them around indicates that you are in need of psychological help no matter how you rationalize it. If you did not obtain an approved subpoena, or you don’t own the property you are tracking, or you are not legally vested in that property, then it is against the law to track that person/property. If you think someone you are dating (not married) is cheating on you, then leave them! You do not have the right to track them everywhere they go. It’s also dangerous to illegally track people you don’t know bc they could think you are trying to do body harm or rob them which may cause them to defend themselves on an entirely different level.

Works fluidly with iOS and Mac OS.. After forestalling the acquisition of a VPN method way too long, (I'm probably already all over the "darque whebb") I read thru a few reviews and liked what I found regarding CyberGhost. I threw money at them and I am more than satisfied with the software's performance to date. My iMac with "High Sierra" transacts with their servers readily at boot up and establishes a solid channel to their servers. I also loaded the "ghost" on two iPhones and an iPad. It locks in the VPN whether I'm on my home WiFi, a grocery store WiFi or when I am crossing the "fruited plains" communicating with AT&T's cell network. I cannot testify to the quality of their security levels (I haven't hired a reputable hacker to break into my system) so I'll leave this at the user observation of "it loads good" and wish you all a good evening. Thanks again for the product. If I get hacked and my life is ruined ... I'll try to get back online and lower the rating of my post, but until then...

Great VPN. I came across CyberGhost VPN while searching for a secure VPN. I chose this one because of its ability to auto protect my devices on Wi-Fi. I like the clean and simple interface. It seems fast and I have no major complaints about it except that certain VPNS location prevent Disney+ from connecting. Other than that it works as intended. I plan on hardwiring my fire sticks at some point and hope this app will support auto-protect on the wired connection soon. For the 3yr price, it can’t be beat!!

Great When It Works But Problematic. This is a very good VPN when it works but it’s problematic. Cyberghost is easy to use and I like the feature of being able to choose servers in other countries. The problem with CG is that it sometimes has difficulty connecting to the servers and can take a long time to connect. When this happens you cannot connect to the internet. With most apps you can swipe it off (In iOS) and reopen it. But this is impossible to do if WiFi Auto-Protect is enabled. I’ve also experienced this happening a few times even when it was disabled. Even when I turned the VPN off in settings CG over rides the iOS settings. This should not happen. The only way I could break the connection was to delete the app then reinstall. This is extremely annoying! I suspect this is either a bug or server capacity is not keeping up with customer demands. This didn’t happen when I first got it but it’s increasing more frequently these last few months. And yes I’ve contacted tech support multiple times about this problem.

Best one you can get. Someone I knew who is now deceased did some grand scale things. You wouldn’t believe it if i told you, also, the account would be in poor taste. It was incredible though. This VPN was the main counterpart. No logs and in tandem with a bridge and some distro of the onion location is impossibly obscured or diverted. This is the best one. Your search has concluded. Nice folks, reasonable pricing and ACTUAL anon as serious as physically possible for a provider. Almost forgot. You’ll have an epiphany once you realize just how distracted and straight up censored your version of the tip of the iceberg really is. Knowledge should be free. Its the only way we will survive as a species in an at least semi-comfortable or fulfilling state. Its very frustrating conceptualizing all the time and energy you already have wasted not finding exactly what you need. Or not being able to view certain things in general. And I’m not talking obviously illegal things. Basic stuff like news and cutting edge tech. Thanks Ghost.

absolutely love it. i ran this vpn on my computer and gaming console for quite a while, it was always great. i recently downloaded it on my cell phone and it's just as amazing as it had been on my computer and consoles. i absolutely recommend this vpn to almost anyone. to the gamers out there looking for DDoS protection, this vpn still can be knocked offline by someone paying ridiculous amounts of money to try to hit you off, but you can just switch your IP and get back on. any skid rate ddos attacks will not bring it down. this is the first vpn i ever used, i love it.

Hmmmm. Well. Well rated app, I decided to give a try. Seems like the developer is responding to 5 stars only but if you’d like free QA - you got one here - you may want to respond to let users you work on fixes (it is reputable solution at the end). My issue - an option - Block tracking is presumably should stop your precise location. My VPN was Seattle but google page shown where I am (I got screenshots). My version is tested in 5 minutes after installation, so I should have free but full version (advertised as 7 days). Also I’m a bit skeptical being able to see a couple words under Options: locations and options, formatted weird way with spaces. No kudos to Apple to let an app being listed. Deleted for sure.

Some servers don’t appear to be hiding user correctly. This is just a guess .. I’ve been watching Italian TV that is not allowed in the US. Comcast and DishTV used to offer these stations but no longer do at the moment. We are awaiting this to be worked out between all parties. Using a Ghost VPN logged into a vpn server has been a work around up until recently. Lately, i’ve been receiving message from the stream site that i am not located in Italy. Upon further review, I have determined that if I let Ghost auto-select the specific server (there are at least 20 or so servers at the particular location) that i will get denied. If I pick a specific server in the list, I get through every time without issue. This would lead me to believe that not all the servers for this particular location are configured correctly. Cyberghost SRL has been a great product up until current issue. Thoughts on a resolution would be appreciated from Cyberghost SRL. Once this is resolved, I would gladly change my rating to 5 stars.

Good! but it has its flaws.. This app is great for keeping my information safe but I've had problems with Netflix ever since I signed up with cyberghost. I get an error message if I start the Netflix app and can't watch anything unless I disconnect the VPN. Also the streaming servers are limited to UK and US servers but my favorite show is only viewable in Japan unless I wait for the international release of each season which happens maybe one month from the end of the season. Even when I use the streaming servers Netflix can still recognise that I'm using a VPN and a notification pops up asking me to "please disconnect from my VPN or proxy". I've already bought 3 years subscription so this is disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this app specifically for Netflix.

Great Concept, Still Slow-ish. This is the best VPN service I have tried out of five, and I love the feature that tells you which connection points have been "optimised" for my different apps/services/needs. (i.e., this one is best for Netflix, that one is best for HBO, etc.) However, the connection speeds are a bit unpredictable, and sometimes I get a nice playing video whereas other times the video stops to buffer a lot. I’m not sure what could be done about this, if anything at all given the nature of VPN services, but it would be nice if they could fix that a little bit.

Good, some suggestions. Overall, this app is really great. I just think that it’s missing a few useful things. I like the fact that it has a connection panel specifically for streaming, and that it connects you to the best location. It’s just missing a few things. Like, I think it would be a lot better if you could connect to a specific IP Address, and I never know which streaming location to pick, so I think it would be a good idea to say what type of shows you can watch differently, when connected to a streaming network. It’s a lovely and well-made app. Well done!

So far worth it, 80% discount tho. I’ve got the VPN+Dedicated IP, along with trying out their browser, and so far really like it. I got a big discount for 2 years tho. The app works as intended and helps get around my works restrictions. They also have some cool (shared) dedicated vpn servers for particular purposes such as to*rents, downloading, games, streaming, and etc. initially got it tho because other VPNs like Nord weren’t working and Ghost has(had?) SSH tunneling and so far works where other VPNs failed. Also great support for things like OpenVPN which signals a good faith company to me. That said, I’ve read and heard canceling is very difficult and should I not be able to get another discount once I need to renew, no longer see things as worth it, and/or see a change in functionality I’ll come back with an updated review.

So Great to access Illinois Lottery App Anywhere. It was always so frustrating when I traveled out of state and got blocked. Now I can mange the account anywhere, even South America. My only criticism is that it was much too difficult to figure out how to select a specific server using the iPhone CyberGhost app. There is no menu item to do it. Even Googling how to didn’t yield much info. I finally figured out on my own that you have to turn off the CyberGhost “switch”, then navigate to the desired server location. Otherwise, it is working great!

QA: Does it work likes you’d expect it to?. Service does not behave as expected. Long delayed before being actually connected? The naming of nodes while well intended for customer enablement I found confusing and even after finding a node, it was laggy like just to connect. That time to connecting, their delay, just is disorienting. After wasting time on check this check that I just wanted out. Cancellation process was odd: you cancel the renewal but your actual actual cancellation must be made via contacting support via a buried little statement in the initial “cancellation” email. If you’ve succeeded in making a refund request, your not gonna be refunded until your forced to reply to their support email about speeds and other deficiencies. They’ll even threaten to close out your support ticket citing they’re received no response on the very ticket that is only about a refund they claimed would be pain free. Not a great customer journey. Just make the product work as expected. Dump the cringy exit survey that doesn’t even include a comment block. Why not engage w me like right after first session, if something behaves unlike a competitor, then address it. By the time a customer is requesting a refund, they’re not needing some tear-filled sad to see you go exit signs. The UI is fair but could use an improvement esp around fast node switching etc. Will eval again in 3 years.

Serves its purpose wonderfully. I was on the market for a VPN service for a while now, I live abroad and just didn't find it fair paying for a streaming service and not getting all the shows available because of my location even though I paid them American coins so I was tired of it. Delay automatic start on wifi?. Perhaps you could add an option to delay auto start of wifi? Some wifi requires the initial “accept terms” in a browser window after connecting. I found that I got an error when CG connected before they authenticated the wifi. Otherwise, working well so far. Got to take away another star, down to 3. I bought this to better protect on public wifi. It seems some of them have counter-measures to prevent the use of VPNs. First I had trouble with the initial connection. Then, I guess the wifi has to periodically ping some network server and when it was on VPN just disconnected instead. Will try on more wifi networks on my free trial and update the rating.

Work just fine. Working just fine, it has enabled me to buy lottery tickets from overseas without a problem, this is not possible without cyber ghost.

Cyberghost. I have a terrible internet connection at my location as it’s thru satelite and they aren’t low orbit either. So sometimes it’s challenging, but CyberGhost works really well, and I’m so glad I purchased it.

Can slow down “internet connection” quite a bit. It’s great for the purposes of VPN, but I feel that it doesn’t work well when it’s on and using WhatsApp. Other apps may be a bit slower to load as well compared to using the apps when CyberGhost is switched off. I have been switching it on and off whenever I need it (e.g. surfing internet when overseas).

Some VPN servers are blocked in some countries. VPN servers are not available in some countries with Internet and VPN restrictions, such as the Middle East. Also, not all listed servers can be used due to being blocked by the country. Actually, the VPN shows connected but most of the local websites are not accessible due to being recognized and blocked by the ISPs. One of the reasons for using VPN is to access the content of some websites that are blocked for people living outside of that country. But unfortunately, the CG VPN doesn't work properly in this regard. Also, I tried to contact the CG customer service but they easily told me "our IP address is blocked in the mentioned country and we can not do anything in this regard". By the way, I believe a big company link CG must monitor their listed servers to make sure they are properly working and update them if they are blocked.

Brilliant. Works so well, I can watch whatever shows on whatever servers I want. If I can’t find a show on my server I can just switch to another one. Really good app. Recommended for anyone.

No response. Be aware that after so called updates, you will not be able to log back in. The last update Oct 23 has caused this issue for me again for the second time. That’s fine, we all understand that not everything goes to plan, however support let’s this app down. They do not bother to reply to a ticket. So now I have one year to go and cannot use the service I have paid for.

Terrible. I can’t use my internet at all. Unless I turn this app off the internet becomes extremely slow! And that’s after I tried everything the app tells you to: from connecting to your closest server to turning off unnessasry apps. I reinstalled it multiple times and nothing worked until I shut it down. Awful app for something you pay. Not to mention that I have to go through “Um not a robot” tests on evry single browser ( including chrome) before I can use it. My perfomance just went way down after I turn on VPN with app.

Does not work with Telstra..... New iPhone 12 Pro Max .... cannot connect through Telstra... blocks all traffic through cellphone connection... useless! No access to any settings ... Good VPN. I have been using another “top” VPN for a few year, but as a pensioner i am priced out of their market, i have used Cyberghost before and have returned, i find it just as fast as the other VPN i was using, no dropouts or any other problems.

DOES WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO.... Seems relatively good so far.. i thaught it a bit expensive but after my run ins with other apps claiming to work well ,and they do not, paying a little extra has been worth it. easy to use ,safe and worth while.

Poor. Really unhappy. Constantly cuts out, slows internet down dramatically. On a regular PC it Turns its self off and then turns back on when you try and search for something. Adding 20sec for a Google search. Phone, I went from 20mb/s to 0.6mbs and cuts out when you’re not using net and have to manually re-connect. Dont bother on a laptop, disconnects when lid closed and doesnt auto connect.

Very bad VPN. I did my research before purchasing this VPN, and Cyberghost seemed to be a good one and was recommended to use for Netflix US. The VPN worked for about 3 months well, after that it doesn’t work with Netflix and also causes our internet connection to be slower. As soon as we turn the VPN off, the internet is normal speed. Wish I never paid for an 18 month subscription only got a few months good use out of it!

Moved from virtual shield.. I would put my rating between 3 and 4 not because the service isn’t good but because my experience with virtual shield was fantastic but CyberGhost offers watching Netflix and other services that are region locked without purchasing an extra package, I’m always pretty skeptical of new products that I haven’t heard about but their pitch was pretty good and the auto protect feature is quite nice. Overall, good experience so far apart from having to manually select Australian servers to try find one that lets me watch Game of Thrones on my Foxtel Now app. Keep it up guys, dont make me regret my money being spent on your service

Not working well in Ocean Pacific Region. Used for three days, got cut off every time if connect to USA. Never able to get access Netflix. No matter wifi or mobile data worked very slow. True to label 👍🏼. CyberGhost works consistently well. I have used 5 different VPNs and the others were all very patchy - they’d be okay some of the time but never for long. CyberGhost is the best I’ve tried by a long way.

Will not be renewing. It’s ok, does what it says most of the time. Disconnects way too much and interrupts a lot of tasks as a result. I’m Australian so maybe it’s better overseas. There are just enough other, much better performing VPN’s out there that the price is just way too high for the quality of the product.

Signed up for Premium Membership, 3 years worth subscription paid in advance, yet this is not enough to use app freely and without pushy pop ups asking for feedback, app ratings and reviews. Fantastic, safe and simple. This VPN is not only the cheapest option I was able to find but also the most convenient. I am now able to use apps I would only be able to use overseas and my wifi speed is not affected at all!

Not too shabby but.... ...I can’t watch my local Netflix and Stan (Australia). I suppose this VPN is a little too good at what it does since it prevents me from doing anything that’s locally-based, particularly watching Australian-based streaming services. Finding a server that supports this just isn’t worth it given how much effort it takes. The VPN eventually gets switched off for streaming but is useful for general web browsing.

Double charged my subscription. After getting a trial thru apple i was been messaged by Cyberghot with a discounted price offer. I accepted and became subscribed. Login to the app and it shows that i have the proper subscription that I applied for. After 7 days i got charged by apple again and tried to contact Cyberghost but they cannot do anything about it. Redirected to apple which they refunded me back. It is sad that cyberghost have no prechecks even if i have been using just one email account. They know that i have my trial under apple and offered me a subscription. Eventually i think it is a deceiving offer to charge you twice. Cyberghost was hard to contact and lost the live chat when i was asking for help. But i was just persistent because the have taken $110 in total from me.

No good.. I have to mimic the review from another Australian, this absolute rubbish for Australian users. I spend more time trying to connect to the VPN or internet than enjoying the security of having a VPN. I have taken screen shots of every problem I’ve encountered and deleted the app so I could connect to my IP. Redownloaded app and it is stuck in recover mode. I had express VPN prior and had no issues at all. I researched and paid for a service and it’s more frustrating than trying to drive through a hurricane, something I would rather do than have to deal with this worthless app for Australians. I really don’t know how yet have obtained the ratings they have. I don’t normally write negative reviews without first discussing with provider first, but in this case no Australian should purchase this VPN. I’ve bought some bad apps before but this one is the worst I’ve purchased. Australians do yourself a favour and stay away from this. If I could give no stars I would.

Aussie users. I have tried several VPN apps and once my current subscription to Ghost VPN finishes I won’t sign on again unless there are improvements. Ghost doesn’t support some basic connections to Australian sites which makes me question if my address is hidden? This is the main reason for having a VPN and Australian web sites pick up I am using a VPN and block me. It also stops my local WiFi connections a problem I did not have with other VPNs. For me I’d go back to Express VPN , it is more expensive but it works. The savings I got on the special deal with Ghost VPN proved to be a false saving. I just tried to log in to my lotto site a business which wants your money but it was rejected because this “VPN” could not “hide” my address it’s useless at best or just stealing your money at worst. AVOID I have spoken with support and they said that they don’t have a solution for either problem and that’s how it is, may change in the future with regard to streaming from Australia?

Easy to use, quick to set up & actually works!!!. I have been looking for a trustworthy VPN app for years. Crashing after last update. Consistently dropping out after the last update. Was perfect before but now it drops out a couple of times a day. Still a decent app but you need to rollback whatever you did. Edit: I read the FYI which said uninstall and reinstall. Works perfectly again.

Didn’t Work. CG couldn’t connect to its network when I used it on my MacBook Pro. I spent almost a month in email threads with their support team to see if they could resolve it. I also checked with my ISP and router manufacturer to ensure they weren’t the cause. Eventually I gave up, thanked the team for their help and asked for a refund. They rejected the refund on a technicality, the 45 day warranty period expired in the time since I raised the issue. CG has servers in Australia and actively markets to Australians, so as far as I know they’re obliged to follow our consumer laws. The ACCC successfully sued Steam/Valve on the same basis. I explained this to them, but they didn’t seem to take notice. If you own a MacBook, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Not very reliable service. I am using CyberGhost VPN to watch my favourite TV show in Asia. It was working fine until last week I was not able to connect to my designate VPN server provided by CyberGhost. I logged a request to get help. After I waited for more than a week, the technical team from CyberGhost can’t fix my problem. The support team kept saying their infrastructure team was looking into the problem, but after waiting for one week, I still can’t use my CyberGhost VPN to watch my TV show. I have decided to switch to ExpressVPN and everything works well with my new VPN provider. I am now able to watch my favourite show again in Asia. I don’t understand why ExpressVPN works, while CyberGhost VPN can’t. I decided to ask for my refund because I am not getting the service I have paid for. CyberGhost replied that because I paid my subscription through Apple Store, they can’t help me with that. Now I am left with a service that does work, but I still need to pay for it.

Pricy and a bit annoying. The plans are very expensive unless a long plan is purchased. Also the app is annoying as if I turn off the VPN in settings it automatically turns back on forcing me to open the app to turn it off. It used to be far better when I used to use it about 2 years ago on my pc. Back when they had plans that were like $30 a year instead of needing to pay $99 for 3 years all at once.

Fraudulently obtained a subscription, deleted. I was checking Facebook for my game rewards and there was an offer for credits. I clicked on it. Sent me to a page that needed me to choose my reward. I did. That sent me to a page that required me to choose a program to download. I chose CyberGhost. The promotion said the reward would be received in 10 minutes in my area. After 2 days of running the 7 day free trial of CyberGhost, still nothing... No rewards given. If you are going to entice customers with a rewards, FOLLOW THROUGH!!! This might be a good product, but it was fraudulently advertised to gain customers. SHAME ON YOU. I have screen shots of every step I took, followed directions to receive rewards, nothing, zero, not one credit received after 2 days. DELETING

Hi, I’ve faced the issues several time where when a wifi is connected and VPN doesn’t connect causing internet not to work, in this scenario even if you open Cghost app there’s nothing you can do because it won’t open due to internet, Had to delete profile for the wifi to work. I think CyberGhost app need to operate offline as well specifically a disconnect button.

Cyberghost is a broken vpn blacklisted everywhere, my school network works with all competitors except cyberghost and they will not do ANYTHING to remedy this, they basically did not develop their app to be on par with competitors and then screwed me over. No refund, no discount nothing. They are slimey. They also are in blacklisted everywhere. Their servers get detected in streaming services all the time. They also are slow as heck Tons and tons of captcha, other VPNs don’t have this issue. All the reviews on google are lies for affiliate money nord, Surfshark, cyberghost, pia, expressvpn all doing the same thing lying to you to get money, it’s the biggest scam just like the hosting industry. Nice, but needs capability to re-direct. Now cue app does everything it should just missing a few things for convenience. This app would be 5/5 if I could tap a button to be redirected to the main website. I created a user/pass for my VPN connection and forgot the password then things became a lot more difficult. Not too difficult just a little more time consuming requires patience and a bit of critical thinking. Overall not a bad app just needs some polishing.

Super Fast and Reliable VPN. I’ve been using CyberGhost for over a year now and have never been disappointed. They have a lot of fast servers to pick from all over the world. Premium is definitely worth the money especially because of their rock solid privacy and speed. Other VPN services make claims only to find out they were not true, CyberGhost delivers on everything they state. Highly recommended!

CyberGhost Rocks. Amazing app well worth it to select upgrade. The free service is fine but limited. For a reasonably small fee each month the subscription comes with a bunch of other services than just VPN . It protects your email and many other protections And u can use one account on 7 different accounts that means protecting 7 different emails that are now triple encrypted.

Great Concept, Still Slow-ish. This is the best VPN service I have tried out of five, and I love the feature that tells you which connection points have been "optimised" for my different apps/services/needs. (i.e., this one is best for Netflix, that one is best for HBO, etc.) However, the connection speeds are a bit unpredictable, and sometimes I get a nice playing video whereas other times the video stops to buffer a lot. I’m not sure what could be done about this, if anything at all given the nature of VPN services, but it would be nice if they could fix that a little bit.

LIMITED to AppleID connected Devices!. The VPN seems fine (responsive, easy to use) and I like the feature that is supports up to 7 simultaneous devices. But WARNING: if you buy through Apple you are limited to only devices connected to a single AppleID. This makes the support of windows, other OS, or family members useless. Until Apple fixes this, if you like CyberGhost buy it from them directly. They have a $2.75/mo special on their website with a 3-year subscription. Cheaper, more flexible subscription ... no bad news there.

Great but one problem.. I love this VPN. It’s quick and does everything I need and more. My only issue is that it seems to randomly disconnect and when it does, it basically disables internet on my phone until I restart the VPN. Other times it wont disconnect when I turn it off and will automatically turn back on and cause a bunch of trouble. If there’s a fix for any of this, I’d love to hear it because it’s such a hastle sometimes that I think about switching.

Best VPN & Photos Vault combo ever!. I've dealt with at least 3 of the "so-called" top VPN company's VPN apps, and although I can go off in a tangent and say a lot more regarding the comparison between all these cyber security apps...The final word is that there is no comparison and on top of all that you get a fantastic free Photos (and Video) Vault. With that you'll never have to worry about prying or strange eyes seeing your most private photos & videos! Can't beat that :)

Ghost. Pretty easy use looks like it’s doing its job. Getting a hold of customer service was a bit of a challenge. I finally got a chat option, but he wasn’t really able to help me. Was trying to sign in on multiple devices, and it was just almost impossible.. my error possibly but I really don’t think so. and other than that it’s fast and it’s easy to use extremely much so not too many choices or decisions you have to make which is fine by me.

CyberGhost Minnesota. I have used this now for a few days and I find that it works great for many web site that I often access, however, it does not work for all sites as it will tell you that it can not load the site. I then have to terminate CyberGhost and then I am able to access the needed site. I would suggest this to the normal user as it is easy to use and it is easy to terminate if needed.

Unreliable VPN and ATROCIOUS customer service. To say I am frustrated with CGVPN would be an understatement. I have not been able to access the service for 20 days now. I have done everything under the sun to fix the issues; nothing works. I have live chatted with customer service several times and followed every instruction I have been given; nothing has fixed the issue. I have sent numerous emails that receive NO REPLY other than to tell me to be patient. What!? Be patient?? It’s been nearly 3 weeks. Either provide me with a service that I have paid for or refund me my money so that I can find a better VPN.

Watch out if you get the iOS one and PC one. So I bought the iOS subscription and then realized I wanted CyberGhost for my PC as well. Turns out the PC one covers computers and phones. My own stupid fault I guess. So I renewed my iOS one a couple months ago and canceled my subscription today realizing the error. The problem? No refund. :(. I asked CyberGhost since I canceled my iOS subscription version if they could forward the remaining balance to my PC version. They said I have to go through Apple for a refund. Apple will not give a refund and CyberGhost will not either so just be really careful if you buy the iOS one and computer one. Make sure to cancel one or the other because you will not get a refund.

Rarely ever works. Glitchy app. I have had this VPN for a couple years and it has continuously been a source of problems. I was finally fed up and switched to a new service. The CyberGhost app is super glitchy and either takes forever to load or randomly crashes when you’re using it. The VPN constantly disconnects or leaves your internet completely non-functional. Regardless of how good my internet connection is CyberGhost frequently causes me issues. I have since switched to a different VPN service (Private Internet Access) and it works flawlessly with the very same home internet network.

Free trial is free but didn’t work. I should start off by saying the paid version is actually working for me. However, the free trial they offer, the VPN didn’t work. I was trying to watch some soccer videos but ones you can only watch if you’re in a certain country. I used the vpn to be in that country and it never worked. I all of a sudden got my receipt today and wouldn’t you know it, I can actually watch those soccer videos now. They say they offer a free trial but don’t expect the VPN to work until you are charged for the service. Total bs.

Better than I ever could have thought. Went out of the country and needed a VPN to access my company’s network. It was easy to set up and access, and it worked perfectly. I was also able to access all my American streaming subscriptions without any issues. I am continuing to use it for security even now that I’m back. Affordable too.

Best Quality for the Money. I have had multiple VPN’s i have had alot of trouble with my vpn auto connectinglike it should but overall cyberghost is the best for the money. Express VPN is more reliable with performance and auto connectivity but the price is not worth it when cyberghost is almost just as good just not as good but if the continue to improve they could be the worlds best vpn service because in my opinion they are already #2, in my opinion!

Grrr... Worked Until Now. My iOS device keeps getting signed out while under wifi protection. This is a serious issue as I use this service to remain secure and protected while online doing banking. This service intermittently disconnected without warning leaving users to browse unsecurely. I have been a user for over 3 years and this needs to be fixed. Ppl are at risk here. Update: I still keep getting signed out & disconnected. I also get asked for a premium account even though I already have one. And they keep asking for reviews... time consuming.

Great trustworthy VPN. It was good ‘till it lasted. I’ve been using this VPN for years. I love that I could pay a reasonable price once and enjoy the app for five or seven years. I worry that the monthly subscription model once my current subscription will expire in 2024 will force me to abandon an app I loved, and look for another affordable VPN app. I really can’t stand auto renewals and subscription models. It is sad that even a good app like CyberGhost had to resort to this profit driven model. Good luck CG !

Reflects company values, easy to use and does more than advertised. Easy to install. Many features for total user control including an Awesome malware-antivirus and privacy information control. Innovative team with customer focus. Deeply appreciate the home country morals, ethics, integrity and tenacity that’s clearly demonstrated in their product and product support.

Works.. The Mac/iOS versions don't have the clearest instructions on which servers/countries allow for what network protocols specifically, but this is fast, it works, and there are plenty of servers all around the world (though it would be nice if there were some more on the West Coast). What I really like is there's an app for every major operating system, both desktop and mobile. Maybe this is the standard now, I don't know, but it's nice.

NOT worth Money. On my iPad and iPhone it will disconnect the Wi-Fi when they are locked and not in current use. The only way to effectively use this VPN is to turn off the VPN when you are locking your device and then turn it back on when you unlock your device. After talking with CyberGhost chat, they informed me that it was an OS problem and they could not help. After more complaining (since this defeats the purpose of keeping a VPN on) they had me uninstall and redownload the VPN, to no surprise the Wi-Fi still turns off when locked. I guess an easy way to protect your device from public Wi-Fi is to simply turn it off….

So Great to access Illinois Lottery App Anywhere. It was always so frustrating when I traveled out of state and got blocked. Now I can mange the account anywhere, even South America. My only criticism is that it was much too difficult to figure out how to select a specific server using the iPhone CyberGhost app. There is no menu item to do it. Even Googling how to didn’t yield much info. I finally figured out on my own that you have to turn off the CyberGhost “switch”, then navigate to the desired server location. Otherwise, it is working great!

Revised Review - Works Fantastic. After going back and forth with customer service would like to say thanks. As for my original request based on performance where WIFI was being dropped I am not experiencing that issue anymore. The new update may have addressed that issue. The product does and performs really well, fast and now I can say it is a very reliable product. Keep up the good work!

Great VPN. First signed up a couple years ago and just renewed my service with them for another 3+ years. In that time they have really expanded their services and improved so much better than they already were. I couldn't be happier and they always have some really great competitive pricing. If you're on the fence and have considered something like NordVPN but aren't sure, I feel 100% in suggesting Cyberghost VPN.

It’s a scam. Slow yourself to a crawl download this crap. It is a scam don’t expect to get any notifications like a doorbell’s motion sensors and cameras anything like that your iPad is basically useless after you install this app. Your iPad or phone will always get locked up with this thing running in the background. You will need to go in and out of airplane mode to reset it. And most of the time that does not work you have to delete the app completely once you do you will see do you have Internet connection immediately. Also it says seven days free trial bills your account the same day so you are stuck with this piece of crap for six months that you will never use.

So far so excellent. I’m relatively new (about 2 weeks) and never had a VPN before. But, I was up and running in just a few minutes on all my family’s devices. The default settings when installed were nearly exactly as I wanted. I did tweak some. I’m not a tech person but X-VPN’s knowledge base contains clear but detailed explanations of settings (including videos on their website).

VPN allows us to connect to French Canadian channels. We had another VPN, but weren’t able to connect to a certain French Canadian channel. When we decided to go with CyberGhost, that channel was definitely on our list of requirements. What a joy it was when we first saw that we were able to get that channel without any connectivity issues! Thank you CyberGhost for making it possible.

Extremely Glitchy. The state of this software is unacceptable for the cost and promise of a secure connection. I find myself constantly having to manually restart the VPN even when it is set to auto connect. Their customer service is good, but you would think after years of the company running this platform I wouldn’t have to report issues that should be the bread and butter of a VPN service. It will also occasionally disrupt any/all internet connections until I restart my phone. I paid for a 3yr subscription so I’m locked in. Once that’s over I will be finding a different VPN.

So far so good!. I basically compared several websites that had VPN provider rankings and CyberGhost happened to be near the top on all of them. Gave it a try first because of the price, features and other’s comments. The seven device capacity was a good plus too. So far I am really pleased with the simplicity and speed. I don’t really see much of a performance hit with it on. I’ll follow up in a month to give an update. Nice job CG.

It works. Low price, easy to use, stable connection. No complaints. I haven’t tried any others, so I can’t compare. But I don’t feel inclined to because this one suite my needs for a fraction of what the others cost. I took a chance subscribing to a much lesser known one. So if I the list of countries you need is on this one, then give it a try.

Non-functional: Paid for the equivalence of a rock. I bought the subscription for it on a deal where you pay around $150-$180 (some add ons included in price), and it worked smoothly for a few months to a year. 🫠 I haven’t been able to use it since because it doesn’t work anymore. My phone will connect to the VPN BUT I can’t use my GPS, social apps, stream, load work apps, etc. unless I disconnect.🫠🫠🙄 My MacBook doesn’t even connect - it just spins like it’s going to. I tried chatting with support and it abruptly connected while in the chat, and it cut off my connection to the agent….I had to turn off the VPN so I could reconnect with the chat agent.🫠🫠🫠🫠 I even asked for a refund sending screenshots and I was told I’m outside of the refund period….I completely get it and would back up the current refund policy if we could get it to work BUT we can’t. I basically spent money for app version of a rock 🙄🫠🙃

Everyone needs VPN. I do not believe that VPN services are the end-all be-all of Internet privacy. However, it does provide more protection than not having it. This little app here seems to do well. Also, according to the Internet, the company does not keep files or logs on where you have been. That is one of the great concerns with using VPN services. I recommend it!

Simple Interface with Advanced Features. I have been using cyberghost for a few years now and have always been happy with how well it works. Whether I’m trying to connect to an overseas IP address or just want to secure my data while I bank/work from my phone, the interface has been straightforward and functions perfectly. Overall very satisfied with Cyberghost!

Just like advertised.. The app works like a charm. I sometimes have to turn it off as certain things won’t load online. For instance when I use Ali express app it won’t load videos until I turn CyberGhost off. There’s probably an easy work around, just explaining my experience. Either way, I purchased subscription for a year and they have me as a long term customer. Keep up the good work folks.

Canceled. But not sure can’t seem to get a person to get information from senior citizen and have no need for this technology only download to accomplish a verification on another website. Deleted app but they may still charge me for it. Have no way of knowing. Frustrating not in my budget. Please help me with this. Every time they want a nick name it’s taken so I won’t even remember what I wrote couldn’t find my password or even if I have one for it. Dang!

Cyberghost. I’ve had this app for 12 years. I’d say it is as flawless as any VPN. One only needs to refresh/update the interface version once in awhile. You can set it to easy/auto, or mangle it yourself.(professional modes) The interface let’s you know when/if you need to select a different server. I haven’t really had any great problems since I started using this VPN.

Just Fine. I've been looking for a good VPN for a long time, especially one that would work with Streaming Services. After using Cyberghost For a free trial, I felt like the app met my Expectations and even exceeded them. I upgraded for the 3 years subscription later on which cost me $100 ( basically around $2.7/month). You should think about getting it if you are ever looking for a VPN that you can use throughout your devices seamlessly.

CyberGhost easy to use. Need a new IP from anywhere in the World? CyberGhost is a good choice because it is easy to use and in case you forget, it reminds you as well. I also suggested about the ability to choose an IP, and CyberGhost responded immediately with assistance in accomplishing this. Now I can choose a US IP from anywhere. I am sure CyberGhost will continue to make improvements! So far, I am happy with the service and I took advantage of the 18 month deal!

Very efficient & user friendly. This was the suggested VPN that came up when I was trying to access a site for work, used the free trial & actually got a script for a month. It’s been good so far no complaints and is very easy to navigate the settings and menu options are very clear/ direct as to whatever functions they serve. I’ve never used a VPN before so I recommend this one.

Frankfurt germany. I love this vpn it’s incredibly fast and easy to use but i have 2 problems with it for some reason out of nowhere it will automatically connect to frankfurt germany and completely disrupt my connectivity. And my second problem is it sometimes does not recognize me as purchased the full vpn even tho i spent $90+ on the vpn. I cannot give it a full 5 stars until these to issues are resolved i recomend to the CyberGhost team to make sure that app never fails to recognize a full purchased user and make it so the app never changes locations or turns itself off without the user physically doing so.

Horrible. Guys do NOT get this app. It does completely opposite of what it’s supposed to do. I have this on my iPad and iPhone and it works better in my iPad. I get this should be important but I mean by completely opposite is just not okay. On my iPhone, I can’t even get into the app without restarting my iPhone. And if I get lucky to get in it barley lasts until it restarts the app. On my iPad and iPhone it takes up so so SO much storage it’s not even funny. Also, on my iPhone and iPad I get the same notification over and over again. If I don’t check the app in time after a notification I get it again. Please don’t get this app. It’s not worth it. Find a better app.

Many bugs. Very very slow to connect, and constantly over and over disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting. And this makes a simple google search for dinner that would normally take you 30 seconds, into a 4 minute battle with the vpn to allow you to surf the net. It’s been to the point where I now just delete the app and only redownload it when I need to make online purchases etc. I tried to cancel within the trial period, but I still got charged and they didn’t cancel. Contacted them and asked for a refund and they told me I’d have to contact apple.

Appears to be perfect. This is just what I was looking for. Upon doing a fair bit of research of different VPN app/businesses I decided on CG. It was surely an acceptable price that I was offered and accepted, and so far I believe it's doing its job very well. I really like the ease of the user interface and the fact that you can choose from the lists of areas it links you up to in the country you choose. Good job. 👍

It’s ok. Still Evaluating. They asked me to rate the app after owning it for an hour. This is why people don’t trust reviews. All I can report is a reduction in mps of approximately 50% when using this vpn app. Without the app I consistently test between 45-50 mps (my internet plan with at&t is 50mps) from my iphone 8. When this vpn app is active, I get between 18-25mps consistently. 50% drop in speed doesn’t seem that abnormal from most apps of this type. So I’m ok with the slow down for now. A plus for this app would definitely be the cheap cost and no contact.

Free version?. Ever since the new interface update, I can't use it for free/use the free features that were previously available prior to the interface update. Everytime I try to turn it on, it keeps forcing me to upgrade to a premium account, but I was already satisfied with the free features. Why can't I use the free features on this mobile app?? If Cyberghost no longer has free features, then I'm going to switch to something else. Just want to add that the computer version still allows the free features and does not force me to upgrade everytime I try to turn on the VPN. So why the frick does the app not let me use the service for free on mobile anymore??? Inconsistent and makes no sense.

Works great for the Middle East. I'm a US citizen living and working in the Gulf States of the Middle East. It's hard to do banking back at home or check some credit card accounts from outside the US if you don't have a very good VPN. Not all are the same. CyberGhost has proven for me to be the best to be able access all of the places where I need online access while living abroad.

Don’t buy this app because I had people saying I’m doing illegal stuff when I’m not, so they had the cops illegally hack my cyber ghost account and monitor me, preventing me from doing things on my phone! Good app, poor service. I’m going to abandon this service, and forget about any lost payments. The app’s user interface is adequate but their database is screwed. One of my devices worked fine, the others can’t connect to the VPN itself with the SAME credentials. On those devices, I can log in, but the app tells me I must have a subscription, which I already have. CberGhost Support tells me to contact ZenMate support, because after those two merged, CyberGhost inherited those customers. ZenMate support does not exist any more. 🤷‍♂️ As of a few days ago, the device that was working is now bumping into CloudFlare issues. Spend your money elsewhere, people. This isn’t the VPN you’re looking for.

Solid performance. So far have not had any issues. Been very comfortable with the performance. I like the options for multiple countries, and the price is pretty far as far as I’m aware. Not very knowledgeable in terms of protection, but for someone in my shoes that wants coverage but doesn’t necessarily understand all the intricacies of VPNs, this is a solid option.
