Hey Elf Yourself Please Hear Me. I really enjoy using this app but now every time I try downloading a video to see the full length of it, it says “Download failed” I thought that maybe it was that it was because “the elves are out of the building” like it says online and that the app also allows you to create videos for a limited time, but now the elves are supposedly back in the building and the same problem is still happening. Can you fix this, or is it just my device? Edit: it works!

The first thing I noticed when I was watching this video was so cute. Positives and negatives. This app is great I download it every year around Christmas. This really gets me into the holiday spirit, and makes the whole family laugh. Choose up to 5 different people to make as an elf. The elves will dance to music and awesome background. You can try out every dance. But a little negitive is some song cost money, but you can still sample the song. Great app you should get this app and have some Christmas fun!

Only rated 5 so my review won’t be deleted. Okay I know a lot of people really like this game , but I only rated it five stars so my review wasn’t deleted , it really deserves 2 or 1 star , the only reason people like this game is because they have no idea how it once was , it was once one of the finest games I owned , about three or four years ago , you didn’t have to pay for every song but two , and you you used to have all the songs , I get it I mean the creators had to make money some how , but they didn’t do it the right way , this used to be a great game me and my older sister would play , and sometimes our cousins would play to ! It used to be all free and I suppose if you want to make money this was the easy choice the creators didn’t care about what the kids who where there first supporters feel , when they didn’t have to pay , I don’t know about a lot of you but my family isn’t rich and we can’t afforded to buy all the songs , why don’t they just try to sell like at most 3 or 4 songs instead of everything , we were there first supporters and it’s disappointing how they could just charge kids who don’t know what there doing just to see a face dance to some songs it was disappointing when I finally got this again to find out I had to pay for almost every song except two !! COME ON CREATORS I never would of thought people could be so selfish but that’s what is happening today , sorry to others who were in my same situation

Game buying. I mean like 3 years ago i had this app and it was like funny to watch when u edit it 😂😂 but i just downloaded the app and was like waiting for sum 1-2 min video of sum elfs dancing and instead i could only watch 10 sec previews bc all of a sudden everything cost money...idk y u gotta pay just to watch sum video but it is a great app and i just think the idea of having to pay is sad

Great but.... This app is great. It makes me, my family, and my friends laugh. But on thing I've noticed recently is that every time I make a video, and I try to save it by pressing the download button, it says preparing video, then takes me back to my home screen. If I try to open the app again, it goes back to the main menu and the video I just tried to save was deleted. If the developers fixed this, the app would be five stars. Overall the app is worth getting.

Read this. So in my home we lived in a very small house so we had to make the most fun out of it. But in my opinion this is a really good game, I have used for mannnnnnny years even when the first version came out. This game is the best. I I know there are hater out there saying they don’t like the game. But I just want to say, whoever came up with this, thank you 😢

This has been a tradition.. I’m a Mom of 3 all grown kids now. I started doing elf yourself since my oldest was around 12.. He is in his late 20’s now? I found it hilarious one year after a friend shared her video of with me. This is th same year I also played elf bowling… lol I have been doing these videos every year since. My kids went frm thinking ….it was fun…. to them thinking I had lost my mind ….and now they laugh. It’s created all kinds of memories. I definitely enjoy sending it to them whatever the age and reaction I have gotten.

Spent $5.99 just to get all my videos to mark with #ElfYourself. I loved the app before. It was working great and I was able to produce wonderful little videos until today. I have to produce multiple videos for work event. I paid today $5.99 for in-app purchase to get access to 4 additional videos. To my disappointment all videos I produced and saved after this purchase are marked with huge #ElfYourself fraise in the upper right corner through all videos. If I was changed for the app and production of movies, I don’t need a developer to mark each of my video with the huge words #ElfYourself that destroy my videos. When I made an attempt to contact the developer by using the link provided by developer on the app page in Apple store I only got a blank page. This mean that the developer doesn’t support their application and cannot be contacted. What a waist of good product, time and money. I am ashamed to show to audience elf videos with the developer’s markings that take almost a quarter of the screen.

Bored all ready. I say that this app is just a complete waste of space. You know why because after the first two times of making your own it’s so boring. Also you need to pay to get new songs, backgrounds and stupid stuff that no one would waste hard worked money on. When I got this I was disappointed I only had two background and one song it was really annoying having the same background and same music also everyone around you if you don’t have ear buds in or head phones my parents got really annoyed with it along with my siblings. I really don’t like this don’t recommend downloading.

A lot of fun, but gets old.. I used to have this app around 2014, it was hilarious and I decided to download the app again after coming across it. I laughed for the first few days then it just got old, however sharing it with your friends makes it more fun! Overall I think this app is very fun, but so that it doesn’t get old so quick I think you guys should make more of the scenes free.

This app is horrible. I bought 4 dances and tried to share one on Facebook and the app stalled. Waited 20 minutes and it never downloaded. Tried again, same thing. Shut my phone down abs restarted. The app came up but now I can’t access my dances. Restore purchases doesn’t work. Manage your dances doesn’t work and the FAQ is ridiculous. It guides you to steps that do not work (manage apps). I’ve downloaded a particular dance that I’d like to share 5x and I cannot find it in any of the files or iTunes or gallery. This app has completely wasted my time. I do not recommend.

Omg best game ever. Elf yourself is an amazing app during Christmas I always make elf yourselves for my friends and family and they love it! Elf yourself has free dances that are amazing the dances are really funny and it is really easy to make the elf yourselves to I feel there are no problems with this app.I definitely recommend this app for anyone who loves funny Christmas videos!

Changed it too much. There used to be a lot more you could do on this app without paying money. You could change your elves and download multiple elf combinations of the song. Now you can do once a day and then you have to pay for high resolution download. Can I just have the silly low resolution one back for free? Used to be one of my favorite apps For the holidays, now they just made it too much about the money.

This game is so fun. I love this game so much and I love the way that you made us able to like take pictures of ourselves or like or he put pictures of like pictures that we already have taken of that I say and that you can create like a whole elf team and they couldn’t dance so much fun I love the way that you do that and skin is so funny because like you basically get to see wait it’s like it’s like all the pictures that you put it into the bases to see like what they were dance like it’s so amazing I love this game thank you so much like so so so so so so so so much for making this gameI love it like so much I’m sorry if I said this so much but I really do and I write this game of five star and anyone else is reading this who doesn’t have this game you should get it it’s so so so amazing so yes it’s just really amazing I love this game thank you for making this game is so so so fun people who don’t have it you should download it because it’s so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

this game is awesome. I would love for people to get this app but the only thing that is wrong is that I don’t wanna waist all that money just for a game and I feel ashamed bc when you can’t buy anything you just have to free videos but it’s your choice so I won’t make the game worse for you and I don’t want to disappoint you so I will leave you to it and maybe one day you will read this and fix it but the rest this game is awesome! 💗💗💗 and this app just has really short Sean’s so it’s you choice sorry for complaining 😁😁😁 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and not to be rude but no one would waste there money on that stuff soooo..... I rated a 3 because I really like this app but I can’t get all the dances and you just have 2 free that is not fare but is a great app. You guys shouldn’t say for the 4+ because 4 years old kids could use there parents money and then if they get problems they could even sue you and you are the ones to get in problems I could say to a lot of people to sue you a lot of friends and family so please fix the app so we could get all the dances free

Someone is watching you. I was on elf yourself and I was making elf’s out of my family and as I played one of the songs that were for free I was watching the video and saw my little sister have a glitch on her face. When I saved the video to my camera roll I played it and stopped the video at the right moment and was terrified for what I had saw. It was a mans face on my sisters face. That was the glitch I saw. I had a feeling someone was watching me through my camera. Or hacking me. Who ever created this app is most likely responsible for this and is rather watching you or someone is hacking and watching us. Be careful guys. If I could rate it 0 stars I would!

I love this app but.... Me and my family absolutely LOVE this app. I haven’t used it since last December but, you guys added like a million ads! Some of them I can’t get out of so I have to exit the app and then start all over! I love ElfYourself but I just can’t believe you ruined something so sweet and cute with stupid ads! Please take some away! I know this is a free app but you should include a no ads offer with the season pass.

Glitch is fixed!!. Update!! They’ve fixed the glitch and was able to share with friends and family! Thank you!! I spent $5 so far thinking I needed to have a Hugh resolution to have the mouth line up correctly when I downloaded. The video on the app shows no glitches; however, when I download the mouths are completely messed up. They just released an update and it still does not fix the issue. I have an iPhone 10 with all the updates, so I know it isn’t due to compatibility.

Okay app. I downloaded this Christmas app to make funny videos with my family. But there are a few issues. There is only one free video you can make. But the rest are 5.99. Of course nobody wants to spend that on a short Christmas video. The bug is that when I try to download the video and ad pops up, even though over and over I keep pressing the upload button. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s that bad.

Such a fun app!. I purchased this app the first year I became available, then upgraded when more dances were added. My grandchildren enjoyed it when I first used it and we all still enjoy it these many years later. Their faces have changed as they’ve grown, but they still love the various videos. Thanks for a fun family app!

This is great besides. This is one of the best Christmas apps I probably used. The one thing is they only let you make 2 different videos and you have to pay $.99 for all the other videos or you can pay for $5.99 for all the videos which I wish they would let us have six different videos to choose from and they should also come out with new videos every week. But over all this is a great app. Fun to make and send to families or to just joke around. It made my family laugh so this is great.

I love this!. I downloaded this game expecting to be underwhelmed. I’m an anime fan, and when I found out that I could screenshot anime characters and make them do this, I thought it was hilarious. I showed some of my friends and some of them downloaded the game too. I love this so much and I’m planning on sending one of these to some family members this Christmas! I recommend getting this lol

Fun at First. I downloaded this app two or three years ago, and without having made any purchases, it was hilarious. Then yesterday I took another look at it, and decided to buy the $5.99 dance package. I tapped the “download all” button, then went off to do something else while I waited. Today, my faces are still there, but I can’t find a way to get the app to actually work; I just get redirected to “add more elves”. I have quite enough elves! I do not want a swarm of them! Thank you. The “App Support” button takes me to a weird no-man’s land, and tapping the developer’s name is equally unhelpful. It was encouraging to read a couple of reviews and see that the developer had responded to them. This app could be a hoot! I’m not giving up just yet!

Won't work properly with iPhone X. iPhone X is a huge release from Apple & apps must be updated to work without the old home button that previous iPhones had. iPhone X has been out for 2 weeks now and when I open this app, I cannot close it by swiping up from the bottom of the screen as you're supposed to do to go home on the device. The only way to exit the app is to shut the device off and turn it back on or pull down the notification screen and click on a notification. The app also doesn't fit the new larger iPhone X screen properly. PLEASE UPDATE the app for iPhone X users.

I wish I could rate this higher. Ok elf yourself is a fantastic game and is really fun to use but even when it’s fun I still have some problems with it I’ll explain elf yourself is a game where you can make 5 elf’s you get pictures of stuff you have to make them elf’s it’s a pretty nice idea with the fact that each song it is unique and really nice but I have one big problem with it I wish the dances were free yes you can argue that the developers did this to get some money but sometimes I just wish they were free I brought all 19 Dances for 5.99 and then there were four more which were 0.99 if the developers see this make where it’s free or you can make it free but for a limited amount of time

Many problems!. So I spent 7.99 to get access to 19 dances. So far I have only been successful with exactly 1 dance. The other attempts resulted in many outcomes. It acted like it was finished downloading a dance to my camera roll, but then there was nothing saved. Another ended in a saved dance, but with no audio. One save was quite quick, and then another took 4-5 minutes. All with no audio. Also I can’t swipe up to get out of the app unless I first put my phone to sleep and then wake it up again and only then can I swipe up. 7.99 was way too much to pay for only one successful save of a dance. SO MANY BUGS. PLEASE REFUND. BUYER BEWARE!

Warning!!! You buy and you don't get the dances!!!😡. I bought this app some time ago and I purchased a couple of dances at first, liked it enough to buy the entire lot of dance styles. Then it would ask me to purchase it again as if I hadn't purchased the dances. Then when you ask what's going on, you get no response. The developers for this game are only interested in getting your money again and again and again and again never respond when you inquire why, if iced purchased everything, why am I being asked to repurchase again. Good app, would be great if they’d fix the honest issues of continuing to ask for payment when they’ve received yet don’t respond if there’s an issue. Play and or pay at your own risk. Shame on the developers which are clearly Scrooge’s 💯

Do not spend any money on this game. Don’t spend money on this game cause you won’t get your items back. Last year I bought so many dances and was exited to us them this season. So I tried the restore purchases button, and when I pressed on it it said “downloading dances” I stayed on this loading screen for 45 minutes and right before the loading finished, the app closed and said downloading failed. It’s sad cause this app brings so many laughs, just wish it would cooperate more with its users. It’s slow and is a money sucking piece of garbage. Not using this ever again.

Love it!!. This app is amazing but the only thing I don’t like is you have to pay $6.99 a year for 24 videos out of 27 videos and don’t get me wrong I think the price is really good and try change the 3 free videos every day so you can see more but I think it would be better ifyou didn’t have to pay but over all the app is great and funny so if you are thinking about getting it then I think you should. 👍🏻😁

Agree with others use to be a great fun app for the holiday season. Do not download or buy I purchased elf yourself and all 19 dances and just recently upgraded my iPhone to the new 12 Pro, after the latest elf yourself update it is saying I have to purchase all the dances again or pay for a 1 year subscription. I get that you want to switch to a subscription model, but removing what was already purchased doesn't seem right. I tried the restore purchases option mentioned in the FAQ, but it still says I need to purchase them. I am signed in as the same Apple account on my iPhone and iPad, but my iPad hasn't updated the app yet and where as my iPhone has, and I can no longer use my purchases on my iPhone. I contacted support and even sent them a screen shot of the purchase history from my iPhone and screen shots of my iPad which shows that I have made the in app purchases. This seems wrong to remove purchased items and make people rebut them now under the subscription model.

Fantastic app👍🏻. This app is great! You can make up to 5 elves. First take a picture of the person you want to make an elf (you can also use old photos) then alter your photo so it will fit on the elf, next dance! After you use a face once you can click on My Faces to use it again. My Faces holds 20 of your most recently used faces. This app is so funny and I recommend making elves of your pets, it is hilarious! It’s also really funny to take pics of celebrities and making them elves! I’ve also done it with Harry Potter characters😂 Great app for family gatherings around Christmas, it gets the whole family laughing. Elf Yourself comes with 2 free dances, Hip Hop Shop is always available, then there is 1 dance you can download. I think it’s about every week they switch it up so Hip Hop Shop is still available but they give you a new dance to download, but this also means the dance you download a week before is no longer available( but this does not mean you won’t ever be able to use it again) They also have Hanukkah dances🕎 Make sure to get this app before Christmas (or at any time really) Love this app so much!!!! Merry Christmas (it’s 2 days away!!!!) Now go elf yourself! 🎅🏼

Hi, please read. I only rated this 5 star so more people would see it. When you look at this game you probably think, oh, that looks fun, but when you actually press on it and download it, everything cost money. I played this game with my cousin a long time ago and everything was free but 2 or 3 games, but when I looked at it today, everything but one cost money. I’m disappointed in the authors for this. They’re making kids who want to play this game, who also might be using their parents phone, spend money on something that shouldn’t cost as much as it does. I recommend deleting this app and downloading Jibjab, it is so much better and I’m pretty sure everything good on there is free, unlike this app. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Um..... When I got this app I was so excited to use it but when it was done downloading I went into the app and it took me to a Dark gray screen I thought it was just a little bug. A few hours later, I went got on the app again it did the same thing again I tried deleting the app and downloading the app again but that did nothing then, I changed the settings but still that did nothing. I do not know what to do now. Please fix this bug. That’s all I have to say Thank you for reading this Review.

Little disappointed. I still gave 5 stars cuz I LOVE the app. I’m a lil disappointed cuz I wanted to purchase the rest of the options. Couldn’t you have at least offered it till New Years. It’s okay... I really like this app. It only takes a few seconds to make a funny little video instead of taking hours to make it yourself. It’s also a very funny app too, since the dances are pretty crazy but hilarious. But there is just one problem. It’s the selection. It’s disappointing that you can only choose from 2 videos. After that, it gets boring. You should at least make it so that we have 5 to choose from. It won’t be so boring. You have so many dances, so why not have more than 2 free ones?

Why this app is very funny. This app is very funny. I I really like this app because you can do whoever you want to be an elf and you don't just have to go up to them and take their picture you can use pictures from a long time ago in your storage unit in the Camera app. This app must get a lot of five stars because it is super funny. This app must get a lot of good comments. But there is one complaint about this app. It's that I wish that the little seens that the elfs dance in was a lot longer. If it was longer than a lot of people would like it better. But this app is a really good app it just has two short of seens.😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻

Great app except one thing. So I love this app it’s a great app it’s so much fun watching the elves dance I laugh all day long it’s so funny I love everything about this app until recently it’s always been fine that all of them were locked I didn’t mind that but the new update the new free song is just not as good I love the dance secret Santa but now it’s locked it’s my fav dance it makes me sad that it’s now locked so if you can plz unlock it I’m sure you understand But I do recommend you get this app it’s a great app 😉

AMAZING !!!. Lol this app just. When I did the beach one I was crying of laughter! It’s not even Christmas but I still got the app!! The kinda annoying thing is you only get 2 daily places or whatever, but I would say if you are a jokester or like to laugh this is DEFINITELY for you! I swear if I could rate it 1m I would do that, I just got this and I’m already in love .^. Also for me it’s summer so, happy summer! …. This game is fun, I remembered playing this years ago and decided to re download it. There’s only 2 that I can do for free now, the rest are money. 7 dollars for some little elf dancing video is such a waste, I could do this myself on capcut even though it would take a bit it would be better then spending 7 dollars. It really doesn’t deserve 5 stars, it used to deserve it but now it doesn’t. The game is laggy and it’s hard to switch to the free dances, I remember when basically all of them were free. It was much funner because you didn’t have to worry about almost paying a bunch for some stupid app.

Hanukkah!. I love this app, and have been using it for the last few years. I LOVE that you’ve incorporated more Hanukkah songs! However, the main one “Oh Hanukkah” isn’t working this year. I updated the app, removed from my phone and reinstalled it, and still not working. It keeps Playing a Christmas song instead of the Oh Hanukkah. Please fix it!!!

Wow. Better than I was expecting, but I do think there Is a bug you need to fix. The bug tells me that there was a error uploading my photos, I have to restart my phone every time that happens. At first it was ok, but now it’s a little annoying, because I can’t upload more elves. Please fix this... Btw great job on the songs and dances!!! Really cool stuff.

More preview before purchase ask.. This app is fabulous and I’d happily spend money downloading more videos if I had the opportunity to be more than the first ten seconds. I can’t tell whether or it it is worthwhile in such a short preview and would prefer to see half the video or the whole on with a big logo or something faintly over the top so I know more about what I am purchasing. They could make a lot more $$$$ if they weren’t so stingy. Video quality is great and it is easy to upload photos and share results. Take this good thing and make it great, please!

Unfair. I know this is a REALLY odd time to write a review since it’s summer. I wanted to say I think it’s unfair that ONLY TWO dances are free and tbh I am pretty disappointed. This app is funny, however I would not purchase anything from this app. I understand this app needs money but I would like if I could get more dances. That made my review drop the stars. If more dances were free I would give it 5. But until then 3 is what I think is best.

Doesn’t work. I used to love Elf Yourself. It was super fun and funny to edit people’s faces onto the elves, and my friends and I would spend hours doing it. I recently tried to download Elf Yourself again, only to find that it doesn’t work. I opened the app, and it asked me to allow notifications. I clicked no, and then the pop up disappeared. The screen then stayed blank and I was left sitting with a blank screen. I assumed the notifications were the problem, so I went into settings and allowed them. I refreshed the app and went back in, and was again forced to wait with a blank black screen. I’d really like to use this game again, but I’ve tried everything I can think of and I can’t get the app to load. I’m adding on to this review after the developers responded and I reinstalled the update. Elf yourself still does not work. I have been greeted with a blank screen once more. Don’t waste your time getting this app, you’ll just get your hopes up for nothing. I really want to play, but the app still doesn’t work.

One problem. I really like this game and its really funny!!!! But you only get 2 dances free!! And I’m getting bored of the same dances. And I don’t want to spend the money. Because after Christmas I will probably get ride of this game. But if you didn’t have to pay money I would download it again next year, you really need to change this!! Great, but pricey... This app is so much fun! It makes my family and I laugh so hard. It really brings Christmas spirit!! I love the app, but I do really wish it wasn’t so expensive. It only gives you two free scenes, which is still pretty good. But can you please add at least a few more free scenes for us to use? Or at least narrow the piece down a bit. Other than that, I really love this and I do recommend it.

A bit of fun. Easy to use and gets a good laugh

Previous purchases DON’T restore. I’ve purchased extra scenes of the years and none of them restore and you need to buy them again. Also the sound is muted or other problems with Facebook not allowing.

Succumbed to commercialisation. This used to be a fun app. Part of the routine Xmas prep. This year it’s just become too hard to use. Previous dances won’t download and further cash is needed to download a half decent version of the clip. I didn’t mind the sponsor logo on the end or burnt into my clip, but parting with cash and marketing emails just doesn’t make it worthwhile for the few weeks I use it.

Works as advertised. I have seen a number of negative reviews here so it’s appropriate that I note that it worked perfectly on my iPhone 11. Was a lot of fun showing my wife, children etc. Thank you. The ads a a bit annoying but hey ho, it’s free so can’t complain.

It’s not good but it’s funny. This morning I was just looking through my mail and I’d happen to find my old elf yourself videos I sent to my sister. The videos were cringe as hell but extremely funny I’m now dying lol

No pay. The game is really fun and funny but I think you don’t need to pay for any of the dances because it’s really frustrating because most of the best ones you have to pay for so I recommend not having to pay for dances

Funny but bad. So last year I got it for free and then I deleted it, because it was getting boring. Now I want it back and now I have to get it again!!! If you have downloaded a game or app there is something called restoring the app or game!! Funny and all but there are a few minors about the game.

At least make five dances free. You only get two dances for free there’s not much possibilities there And there’s nothing to do you have to buy all the dances to basically have fun that’s $10 and it doesn’t even save them for the next year

I cant get it back. I got this app 3 years ago and it was really fun until i got more apps then i deleted it now im trying to download this app again but it says a have to pay for the app when it says its free.

No more pay. The game is fun I must say but I don’t really get the point to pay money just to watch faces of your friends and family members dance as elves in different settings maybe think a bit about that

Singing?. There is only one song where the elves sing, I remember a few years back that the elves could sing to way more songs, get more songs to sing to instead of just dancing, it’s better with singing. Also gets boring quite quickly

Disappointing. Well it’s a fun app you actually have to post twice on Facebook Before it shows on my page. I find it very annoying. If I didn’t share it with the family that I’ve done it for and it’s on the Facebook page if I hide my page or delete it delete of these. I’ll be looking for something better out there

Love it!!. After I hit restore my dances from previous purchase, I hit download and none of them can be downloaded. I hit on one of the videos and nothing works nor the download all. What the hell am I supposed to do now?

Where is my download?. After purchasing 2 videos I received a confirmation email with the information my download would be 30 minutes away and a tax invoice for both. I have not received either of my 2 downloads. I have emailed 3 times with no replay. Very disappointed and out of pocket! Waste of money and my time.

Funny but boring.. When I saw elf yourself, I was really excited. It looked really funny, and it is. But there is only 2 SONGS THAT ARE FREE!!! Please make more songs free. Also, only there’s only one dance where the elves sing in and that even costs money! Please make more dances free and add more sing. PS: The game is really funny but gets boring quickly.

A little bit of a fix. I have used this app my whole life and its awesome but... since 2019 you now have to pay for the movies and it used to be free but i do understand that you need the money

A short experience. This app is original, with many great dances. Except, you have to pay for every dance except two. Possibly reduce the amount of paid dances, or remove the paying and add ads, and you’ll have a lot more money to improve this app.

Use a computer for it to. Be free. I must admit it’s really funny at the beginning but it won’t let you do other setting just that one and if you do you have to pay for it and it is not worth it. If you want to use all the settings use a computer or laptop and search up elf yourself and you can use all the settings for free

best 2019 Christmas app?. some say this app is good because it has some good features and it’s free but it has a feeling after 3 or 4 it just becomes boring doing the same faces. I have read some other reviews about other apps and this is the best one yet so keep it up.

Great, but needs further improvement !. I have to admit it’s fun at the very beginning, except for the part where there’s only one free dance and the rest you have to pay for !! Maybe for future updates, reduce the amount of videos you have to pay for or just scrap the idea of paying for anything altogether.

Good fun, however.... I purchased the “Season Pass” which is great fun for under $10 a year. However it’s a bit rich to then expect us to pay $6 on top of that PER VIDEO for the high resolution version. Come on! That should be included in the “Season Pass”. App is easy to use and fun but only a CHRISTMAS GRINCH would charge Season Pass holders extra on top for EACH high res video we want to download. Bah humbug! 👎🏼😡

Goes to black screen. I wrote the same review as I did a couple/ few years ago that after the Wreath icon appears it automatically goes to black screen. I’ve tapped on the screen, I’ve waited patiently and then I finally shut down my device because I’m not certain if the app somehow shut down my device or if the app was still on black screen. The app was still on black screen. Geez I would think that the developer would finally correct this issue but it appears not! The developer can add as many new features as they want but if it only causes my iPod (7th generation) to go to black screen then what good are they? I wish the developer(s) would focus on correcting issues like this one and then add on new features. UPDATE: Oh thank you developers for continuing to ignore the issue with your app continuously going to black screen after the app opens and the ElfYourself icon appears! Yet another update and still the issue occurs.

Not worthy anymore. This was one of my favourite apps, now under new management, just a couple of dances are free, always the same. Sadly not free anymore and full of ads. In terms of dances, nothing new, same old , same old.

Help!!!!. I love this app so much sunscreen I can’t put me and my friends faces on the elf’s and laugh! But, I came across an issue that I never came across before, when I go to camera roll and click on a picture it either shows black or a foggy white background on the elf. It’s making me not be able to use this great app so I gave it 4 stars.

Cute and simple. Uploaded my coworkers as elves and put the multiple resulting videos on the shared office computer TV. Had to buy the pack for enough different dances, but it's been a great hit! I wish there were a few more options, like HD export, being able to easily reorder the elves, clip parts or just do a solo. Dev's are very responsive! Thank you for fixing my issue!

Charged twice for one video. I created and paid for two videos, but they only sent one of the videos. This was over a week ago and I still haven’t reviewed the second video even though they charged me for it. When I downloaded the one video that they did send, I sent it to others who could not see the video stating the faves were blurry and the video was glitchy. Definitely would not recommend.

Good, But. I like the app a lot but, I’m upset that you only can do the free song once that day it’s no fun and makes the app useless after playing it once that day please at least let you play the free song more then once a day. Merry Christmas!!

Please read. Okay I got this game at first to have some seasonal holiday cheer and share funny videos with my friends. But I don’t want to play a game were I have to play money to have a video to share with my friend that’s moving away. Now I’m pretty angry because I can’t even watch the whole video without paying. To much fun. Super easy super fun my only complaint is they need to do more templates not just Christmas. I would definitely pay for this app if it had more fun templates. I suggest like birthday templates Halloween maybe New Years. He’s thing ever would be if they did all the main Holidays.

Unable to Recover Past Purchase. I was able to download some, but not all of the past purchases. The app want me to pay for them again. Why? FYI - I posted this after I had gone through the restore. It randomly only downloaded a couple of the songs I previously purchased. I've been using this app for past 3 years. This is the same Apple ID, I've never had a different Apple ID.

Disappointed. I had this app many years ago and I was able to have multiple dancers in the video. This one only allowed two dancers, and it said that I can add up to 30 faces but it’s still only two dancers in the video. I feel this was kind of deceiving. I have a family of seven and I wanted a video of all seven of us and I thought that was what I paid for when I paid the $2.99 to have up to 30 faces. Waste of money..

Only get the app if you are okay with paying for everything.. This game was my FAVORITE thing around the holidays, but recently I got the app again and to my surprise you have to buy every song BUT ONE! All songs used to be free and I know they have to make their money somehow but it didn’t have to happen like this. I am disappointed.

Latest update mostly unusable. Fantastic app. A perennial favorite. I buy the extras. But this year it keeps deleting my custom elf pictures. They are the key to great results. I am resigned to doing everything I want in a single session. Five star review reduced to four. Will reduce to two stars if the bug is not fixed.

Please fix this. Every time I go on this game it takes me to a black screen and it wont load in even if I delete the app and go back on it it doesn’t work but I go in the App Store and it doesn’t say it has any updates so please help.

Previous purchase. I purchased this app years ago. Had everything. When going back to play I notice I dont have any of the “extras” anymore. So the purchase doesnt last? It shouldn’t matter how long ago I purchased this extra scenery, I should have it forever. So I need to know how to get it back without having to repay again. Don’t recommend it if you’re going to take it away after years and previously paying.

Free is best. You get 2 free videos. The first one in the toy factory is the best one. I bought an additional video for .99 or 1.05 with tax, and the mouths don't match up when singing. It looks stupid. I can't figure out how to tell customer support so it is money down the drain. Be happy with the free ones. They are the best ones!

You shouldn’t make some dances you need to pay and you should make 3-5 free dances per day more like that or make all of them free you should make people pay then what’s the fun of that I know you have to make money somehow but maybe you could only cost money for adds but I really never get any

So I purchased this app and after I clicked on it and it was on a black screen for about 3 minutes until I gave up and reopened the app and it said “Elf Yourself” and then went black again. Unable to locate downloaded video on IPhone. Not happy that I purchased a video, downloaded the video to my iPhone and can’t find it nor does the app tell you where the video downloaded to. I need to know where to locate the video or I want a refund.

Great and fun and funny.. I love this app! I download this app every year around Christmas time. It has enough characters for my whole family to be in it. It's so funny and my family loves it. Could be better. The quality is pretty good but I purchased the subscription and can’t access the option of 27 dances offered. Due to that I probably will not purchase again and not recommend either. Disappointed

Restore purchases. This took the place of me sending Christmas cards and people look forward to receiving them but I need access to the dances I bought in previous years. This year there is no ability to restore purchases. I am not going to spend money again on dances I already bought. That’s not how a developer builds a loyal customer base. Now I’m wondering what else is out there.

Funny game but. This is a very funny game the best game ever but when I bought all the dances for 5.99 when I went to try secret Santa it crashed me out of the game I didn't like it so can you please fix that I want to try secret Santa and I didn't download any ones higher than that but all the rest I downloaded.

One fix!. I love this app. It is outstanding. The only nit picky fix I think would be necessary is more free dances. One dance can be boring, and your game overall is entertaining. Please put more dance moves that are free, because people don’t want to pay for some dances on a app. Otherwise, your game was fun! 😀

Took an awesome app and destroyed it. We’ve been enjoying this fun family tradition for years. It was a fun way to watch our kids grow up. I’ve been downloading our family videos for 3 years now. And then they screwed everything up. I paid for the download. No email has come. I’ve got the updated app. All I want is to have fun with my kids and have a reason to still shop at Office Depot. This app was seriously the final reason for me to think favorably of Office MaxDepot.

Not working!. I downloaded this app today and made the video. I decided I wanted to use the videos you need to pay for, so I purchased all videos. It still just shows me the previews of those videos and wants me to purchase one for .99. I should have access to these videos since I purchased them all. I tried to Restore All Purchases and that did nothing. It’s also annoying that my faces aren’t saved and I have to go and choose them again every time I start the app.

LOVE IT!. This app is truly hilarious and it’s so much fun. I really enjoy doing this with my friends because the dances are just so funny and we die of laughter. I don’t find anything wrong with the app and I recommend you get it because it’s just a fun little joke and it’s worth it!

Absolutely FLAWLESS. I found out about this a few years ago and LOVED IT I had put everyone I knew as a elf and loved it. My favorite is the Breakin’ one. Yeah, only 2 songs are free but still awesome! Only recommendations is make maybe 2 more free ones and more games like these but I look forward to this EVERY YEAR! Thanks for creating this developers!

Good. I used to really enjoy this app and still do but I wish that you didn’t have to pay for basically everything. Most of the dances except for like 2 aren’t able to be accessed unless you pay. But if you don’t mind spending money than this might just be the app for you.
