Engaging and Beautiful. The formula of a puzzle game where you look for objects which interact with other objects, and maybe solve a puzzle or two, is standard. This one stands above the others in its beauty. When you see the box you must interact with, you really want to explore it, to see every aspect of its mechanics, to see the wood, brass, and jewels interact. The visuals really pull you forward as much as the gameplay. In addition to the exploration part of the game (find a lock, then find the key or combination to it), the solvable puzzles are elegant and satisfying. I bought iPhone version of the game. The small size of the screen and the need to zoom in and zoom out sometimes made it a hassle to move around, and occasionally I was taken to a different place than (I thought) I’d tapped. However, that’s to be expected. Small screen, finger touch not always accurate. As of the date of this review, this is the first & only The Room app I’ve done. They’ve released 4 or 5 sequels, so perhaps this is already solved: the hint/help function should know what you have already accomplished. I used hints several times, and 80+% of the time it hinted about what I had already done or figured out. This is a big ask, but it would be swell if they have done or could do that.

The Story (from what I know). Many people are taking off stars because of the story, this is mostly because they have not played The Room old sins, but if you have, but can't really grasp it, this is the story that I think, it may not be true. This has a lot of spoilers, don't read this review unless you have completed the trilogy (plus old sins). You are the scientist's brother. He was kicked out of a institution. He is then hired by a group called the Circle for the reason he was kicked out: the null. The Null is (I think) a big squid thing, that destroys the scientist's house in the Room 2. It also (I think) poisoned the scientist, which is shown in the room 2 also. The scientists wife sabotages his work, and then disappears. The scientist, who knows he's poisoned, then creates the puzzle to see if you are worthy. If you are, then you must crack the seal, and find the Null (which controls the squid thing I think). And that's basically the story I think.

This is hard. I got this game because I recently purchased the Quest 2 and The Room A Dark Matter and absolutely loved it. I only got hung up once where I actually had to google what to do next. The puzzle was not easy by any means but still Doable. Anyway now I'm going to try all the earlier games on my phone. Which brings me here. I can't seem to get from one clue to the next without a hint. It's so frustrating that I find myself not even enjoying the puzzle. The option to zoom in on one specific spot is by far the most frustrating. It will zoom in on a part I don't want. Like I wish I could zoom in and then rotate the box as to thoroughly inspect and see where I should go next. The time it takes to zoom in on the wrong thing and then zoom out and I keep swiping the window of the actual app closed (iPhone 11). The puzzle is also very dark and my brightness is full blast and I'm sitting with the sunlight on my phone to see and still it's too dark. My eyes are just tired and I'm frustrated using clue after clue. Anyway I'll Try again tomorrow. I won't quit and it's obviously done beautifully so I gave 4 stars.

Worth it!. I purchased the game $1 and had the opportunity to play beautifully designed complex puzzle boxes with surprises and tricky processes. If you are tired of predictable simple or repetitive escape/puzzle rooms then try this! I really enjoyed solving these. Never bored stumped a few times and the limited hints kept me from getting frustrated but didn’t just skip stuff. Very well constructed and the motor processes to control elements made it feel more like a real puzzle box- complex sequential discovery with numerous phases and reveals along the way. Loved it!!

I has the big sad. The room is an amazing game that I have played so much that I can beat it in a matter of minutes. So I decided to get it on my phone. Since my awesome parents were smart and disabled in app purchases on my phone I couldn’t get it directly, but I could get if my parents got it from theirs cause our phones are connected and stuff. But even after they got it, I couldn’t because it doesn’t immediately ask you if you wanna buy the full game. So once they got it it says restore purchase, which I still can’t fo, so please can you fix it so I can play it it is so very fun.

Games don’t get 5 Stars. Ever.. Room earned my first 5 star rating for the all the right reasons. There’s no room to improve on what is arguably the perfect iPhone sized game. It’s both challenging and rewarding (as are all Room offerings). There’s no pay 2 play traps, you buy it once – it’s yours forever! The 3D graphics are stunning. The soundtrack is as subdued as it is haunting. The telltale sound effects hold clues and indicate progress. Gameplay is organic; with engaging challenges that easily capture the imagination. As such, the solutions are hard-earned and rewarding. Room might take you an hour or two (or a several days) to solve complete. Pace yourself accordingly! Room: Pocket is a great introduction to the award winning iOS Room Series. The experience is so rewarding that you will certainly want to buy the follow-up games. That you can do as much for around $10 for the entire collection of all Room games – is truly sublime!

If your interested, absolutely give it a shot. I enjoyed this game and while currently I’m not done with it I can say that I’ve been having a good time with it, and as for glitches there are very few except for one game breaking glitch and I hope Fireproof sees this review and fixes it, but anyway in chapter 2 when I go to view the mini telescope in one of the puzzles the game just crashes and goes to black, at first O thought it was a one time thing but then it kept happening and happening, I don’t know what’s going on so Fireproof if you for some reason read this please take a look

love, love, LOVE. i was introduced to this game as a pre-teen and i have played it on and off for years…i’m 20 now. this is EASILY one of my favorite games ever! it’s extremely stimulating, it definitely makes you think and it can be kind of hard at times, but i promise it’s an extremely fun game. this game in particular is the beginning of a 4 (i believe) game series and each game is better than the last. now, the game costs some coin, but it’s worth it! remember, once you buy it, it’s yours :3 anyhoot, download the game or perish.

Amazing!. Wow! This is a true work of art. I've never paid for a game until now. I love every detail. I have actually went back through all of The Rooms, and even a second time just has me pulled in and on this awesome adventure. I really hope you come out with something new soon! Because I haven't found anything close to this on my iPhone. And also I have not come across any glitches I don't have any complaints...just really hope you'll get another part of the Room out or something just as Amazing! Great Job! Looking forward to the next!

Must pay for both iPad and iPhone?!. I purchased this game on iPad years ago and wanted to revisit it and the sequel since The Room III is now out and was going buy that. I downloaded this pocket version on my phone thinking I was good until I was prompted after the first chapter to buy or restore my purchase. I naturally asked to restore my purchase and it said I couldn't. I did some digging and found in the developers website that this is a common issue. It is actually 2 different programs and you must purchase both versions if you wish to play on both a phone/pod and a pad. Even though it is the exact same gameplay! I didn't see any other comments about this so I figured I would leave one explaining. I only put 1 star so that it would get noticed more. Obviously though since I have purchased both 1 and 2 on iPad I think it is overall a 5 star game. Great graphics, puzzles, and overall interface and gameplay are top notch. However I'm rethinking purchasing the 3rd installment since I now can't play the first on my phone.

Beautiful, engaging, and fun…. After playing the initial chapter, I immediately purchased the full game and was not disappointed. You’ll need to fire quite a few neurons to finish, but the clues and items you need are all there. You just have to be incredibly observant. Absolutely brilliant game. When I finished, I instantly purchased the rest of the episodes and am looking forward to immersing myself in the world of The Room. If you loved Myst and games like it, you’ll love The Room.

Glitchy with iPhone xr. Wanted to try the free version before I bought the newest one to see if it was worth it. Glad I did because now I know what to expect. Every time I get a piece of the puzzle the game starts to glitch. It won't let me do anything. I can't switch views or zoom in and out. Sometimes, if I wait long enough, it'll finally do what I want but by then I'm so frustrated that I end up closing the app. I have an iPhone xr so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but either way I've uninstalled it and now looking for another one that's similar.

Obsessed. I tried this game out because crushing candy and feeding my brain can only be done so much in one day. I’m not for paying for games but thought I would give this a try. I loved the first game and decided that $.99 wasn’t going to break me. Now I can’t get work done and my husband is constantly asking me me what are you doing and when are we going to eat. Oooops sometimes you just have to find the next piece. The only thing I don’t like is it’s a bit hard to see and would probably be better to play on a tablet rather than an iPhone. Still my boss is just going to have to wait for his document.

Great story, great puzzles. The app takes the player through puzzles set by an aspiring scientist/ alchemist. Puzzles include putting together complex machines, solving sequenced codes, and finding missing pieces to mechanisms. It includes awesome graphics in a 3D style and a simple interface. The attention to detail is unmatched. Chances are anything you would notice is relevant somehow. The interactive pieces are integrated quite well into the full game so they blend in. Parts are riddled with odd markings, indents, and paths. Each of them is a hint or interactive puzzle to further the story. Even after you become more familiar with the style of puzzles, the game never loses its charm. Every year or so I revisit this game and it never fails to impress. Props to the creators and everyone who worked on this.

Really game?. So I first found out about this game with a friend, they had the game and I helped them beat it, and I loved the puzzles! They were challenging, and the eyepiece was a total game changer, separating this game from any other puzzle game, and I looked it up on my phone to get it, and it was free! I was estatic, I breezed through the tutorial and was immediately disappointed, you had to pay to unlock the rest of the game! When I see a game that says free, I expect some ads or something, if you have to pay for an entire game, then just put the 1.00 price on it, and then you won’t disappoint people who are exited to play a great game for free

Excellent! Just needs updated again. I live this series of games! Each Room game is fantastic and very well done. I love the mental challenges, the intriguing story lines, and the amazing visuals and mechanics. I’ve had each game since the beginning. I just got a new phone and transferred my games over to it, and I decided to come back to play through these games again. But I think this game needs a new iOS 13 update because the video elements when I look through the telescope aren’t working anymore. It just shows A.S. sitting in the chair, but no animation or sound. Even so, still wonderful games.

A standing ovation for the developers!. After 25+ years of not playing computer games, I found myself purchasing the entire Room series after playing the initial level offered for free. I have no patience, time or inclination to play games that require combat, laborious item gathering, marching all over the place, difficult controls, etc. The Room is absolutely perfect. With 5 chapters, its puzzles within puzzles that you can pick up for 15 minutes and put down for a quick break in the midst of a busy day. You can manipulate the objects with just your finger on the iPhone touchscreen. The puzzles are hard enough to give you a sense of accomplishment when you figure them out. The clues are helpful when you are stuck and they do not to completely hand you the answer. The puzzles are creative and the graphics so beautiful and realistic. My only piece of constructive criticism is the music, which is really spooky. I wanted to play these games with my kids, but they were creeped out by the music. It would be nice to have an option to turn off the creepy music but still retain the sound effects. As someone in her mid-40s, I am frankly shocked I had such a blast with a game I played on my phone. The Room was an immersive experience that worked my brain and entertained me immensely at the same time. Better than watching Netflix!

Very engaging, entertaining, exciting puzzle story. The Room, although 6 years old, is no less remarkable than it was at its inception. The best part about waiting 6 years to play is that there are more versions now available after I finished this one! I rarely play games and when I do I like to challenge my brain. ‘The Room’ does just that. Unfortunately in some of the puzzles, you have to know what the developer was thinking. After solving many of the problems inside this game a pattern emerges that you can use in the other chapters. The graphics are phenomenal. It’s like you are there inside this contraption actually moving pieces around! I’m blind in one eye and do not see in 3D (the world is all 2D to me) and a few of the puzzles I was not able to visualize even using the ‘eyepiece’. There are “hints” but they are very intentionally vague and really useless. This is a highly graphic filled game and even on my iPhone 8 Plus, I had several places where the game just froze. When you reset or have to leave and come back to the game you have to start at the beginning of that chapter. Each chapter is not too long and at the end I was wanting more. If you are totally stuck there are several resources online to help you. I highly recommend ‘The Room’!

ABSOLUTE BEST! The bar to which all others are measured!. Hooked from the beginning and can’t get enough. These guys not only hit the mark, but set the standard, to which, all others are measured. I’ve gone through The Room Series, several times, and it never gets old. The Room (Original) to Old Sins is remarkable; the story, the game play, the puzzles, the graphics, the attention to detail, the everything, THE NOTHING LEFT UNDONE makes this the best puzzle adventure I’ve experienced. I’ve gone through some of the other ‘puzzle adventures’, but always come back to The Room to see when the next version/installment is available. Keep em coming guys!

Great graphics. Challenging but not frustrating. Well the puzzles on the boxes are not frustrating and they make you think and analyze how to move to the next box. The frustrating part is how dark it is. I play on my iPhone and with the brightness as high as possible. I still can’t see some sides of the boxes. Even with readers (yes I’m get old!lol) and zoomed in. This makes it difficult for some of the mechanics of the boxes. My suggestion would be to have it illuminate that side when zooming in to solve a clue. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Everything makes sense. I would say this is a Mensa thought process game. It’s linear and takes place in a confined space so you are not running all over the country trying to find items to piece together to use in an unrelated area. The challenges are difficult but solvable without having to get a walkthrough. You have access to hints at no cost that will steer you in the right direction without giving you the answer to the problem. The graphics are very smooth, picture quality. The developers did a great job and now I must move on to game two. Enjoy.

An amazing game. This game is like nothing I ever played before. It is engaging, ingenious and the graphics are ridiculous. I went to bed so late the first time I played it. The only thing I can do without are the ghostly voices and the dramatic music, those a little distracting for me. Also there are 2 of the puzzles in room three of the pocket version that I found did not give enough guidance, the cross-key and the gold amulet. I ended up looking those up but I don't suggest making a practice of that bc the best part is figuring out the puzzles. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise it's brilliant and did I mention the steps and the cracking open doors? Love it. I already got my sister playing, moving on to the next room. Who needs sleep.

Pretty cool unusual puzzle game. The puzzles in this game are like cool mystery boxes. It's too bad I didn't think the story behind the boxes were all that interesting. It seemed like the only point to solving the puzzles was to get some flashy cutscenes of mystery markings and creepy sounds. That said, the puzzles themselves are very interesting. Sometimes they seem so hard to understand that the hint system is essential to completing them. Either way, it's a better challenge to try and use the hints less often. A game like this makes you wish boxes like this really existed, but could you imagine the price of building such intricate boxes only to solve them once and never use them again? That's what makes this game's 99 cent in app purchase so valuable. It's very affordable and should take 4 to 6 hours to complete the game. I recommend trying it out. It was a very unusual game that scratched an itch I couldn't get scratched anywhere else.

Puzzle-rific!!. I am happy to say that this is one of the best puzzle games I’ve played, by far! Each puzzle was so intricate and elaborate, with mechanics I haven’t even seen for IOS games before. The graphics are realistic and visually stunning. Everything from the setting to the sounds was very immersive. I especially loved how I did not have to pay for hints if I needed them. Now, I have not loved a puzzle game this much since I played both of the Monument Valley games. So, no complaints here, I highly recommend The Room to anyone looking for a challenge, and I can’t wait to download the The Room 2!

Enthrallment of the brain. At first I was very skeptical about this game, but as I completed every small puzzle it threw at me I was more and more curious as to what was going to occur next. Definitely will make hours seem like just seconds. It will leave you on a cliff wanting to click, spin and dive in for more of its tricky elaborate labyrinth. Once you think you have completed it is like the late great David Bowie as the goblin king and throw more complex puzzles your way. Highly recommend for those who need to test their skills and be pulled deep in to a world of magic along with story telling. Can't wait to see how much further down this amazing rabbit hole I get sucked in to with every waking moment.

Why didn’t anyone tell me about this sooner?!. I get bored very easily nowadays. This game kept me engaged through the entire thing. This is a great classic escape room game. Might be a little advanced for younger people, but a whole lot of fun and definitely worth buying the whole game. Finished it and immediately went to download the other three. Can’t wait! Loved it from start to finish, and the epilogue was a great addition as well. I was sad that the game ended but then I saw the epilogue button and I got all happy again. Great stuff, almost mind-bending at times, very involved. Best game I’ve ever downloaded

Fantastic!. I played this several years ago and found it fascinating but never went back to it since I’d completed it. But I have my 10 year old grandson staying with me so I thought I’d see if he might like it. He started it but needed some help so I thought I’d let him continue to use my iPad but I’d play on my phone. He loves it and has stayed a step ahead of me and we are both enjoying it tremendously. I have completed some of your subsequent versions and hope more keep coming!

Best game since Myst. This game is epic. It reminds me of a darker Myst, which is one of the best games of the genre and came out in the 90’s. But Rooms is an amazing journey through space time to discover the null. Love it. If you like puzzles like I do, buckle in. They are ALWAYS intuitive and some are easier than others, while some are so hard. Never a “that was just stupid”, but a whole lot of “why did I not try that 20 minutes ago!?” But it. Give them your money, and with a little luck they will make another saga just like it. I bought and played them all. I keep them on my phone because I WILL play through it again. Creators of the room...I SALUTE YOU!

The Room is addicting!. After completing The Room VR: A Dark Matter on my Oculus, my son suggested I try the iPhone/iPad versions. I started with Room Pocket since the first level is free, just to see if I would like it as much as the VR version. Needless to say, I gladly paid the buck to get the whole game. I have completed 3 levels so far and I am hooked. I play on the iPad to get a bigger screen although I have tried on my phone. Much easier to see and maneuver on the bigger screen. One hint, turn up the brightness on your screen so you can see the beautiful detail of each level. I’ll keep playing these phone versions while waiting for the next Room VR.

Loved it!. I started with The Room Original Sins which was fabulous! Then I overlooked The Room pocket adventure by mistake which is the first of the series and played The Room Two. The Room Two wasn’t nearly as good a game as Original Sins but it was decent. I had fun playing it despite a few hiccups. I bought The Room pocket adventure expecting less than what I had experienced with The Room Two but was completely blown away. This is a superb game, especially for the low price! You get to play the beginning for free but the rest will cost you a whole $.99. Totally worth it because there is so much game afterwards! It’s more fun on the paid chapters too. Good puzzles. If you like escape room games and puzzles this is an awesome game.

absolutely amazing! 100% worth it. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review before, but this game is absolutely stunning!! The graphics and visuals are top notch, intricate and beautifully designed. The storyline was intriguing but didn’t overshadow the puzzle solving. I especially appreciated that the hints were easily accessible when necessary, but subtle enough that I still felt like I was solving the puzzle on my own. I never pay for apps but it’s only $0.99 for the full gameplay and it was absolutely worth the small price! Massive props to the developer and the team who worked on this app. Highly recommend!!!

Most impressive puzzle game ever!!!. I was intrigued and I love the mysterious foreboding ambience of The Room. If you love a challenge and love puzzles this game is where it’s at if you don’t mind the ominous vibes. Everybody’s scare factor is different I don’t find it creepy I found it tantalizing and fun. It was so immersive for me. I loved it. Now I want to play all of The Room series. I hope the others are just as good or even more exciting with each series in order!!! I can always take a long break come back and play again. I’m sooo excited and so ecstatic that I found this game. To the game developers tytyty tyvm!!!! Roaring applause screaming more more more!!! Hung up. A puzzle game is fun until the puzzle hangs up and you can't get the next clue. This will not reveal any secrets - the piano component is very simple, follow the keys, however when I do they all slam down as if I made a mistake. The game itself is a BLAST and the puzzles are difficult but not impossible. I love the game but do not like the lack of customer service when I emailed them asking about the glitch and have received nothing back from them. I'll change my review if the problem gets fixed. Edit - They responded to my email and informed me I may have been missing the keystrokes on the piano. With no sound it is nearly impossible to see a dark key move, yet it did. I was wrong and have changed my review to 5 stars....these are VERY fun and engaging games.

Beautiful design 👍🏼👍🏼. I loved the intricate design of this game, and the puzzles were challenging, but not so much that I got frustrated. I enjoy the story as well, but it had very little context. I was disappointed that the pocket game (1st) was only 3 chapters. I get that $0.99 only buys so much, and they want me to buy the next one, but the total gameplay time was less than one day. The next game is enticing but it costs more so I sure hope it has more to it. UPDATE: I now have TR2&TR3... And yes, they are definitely worth the extra money!!!

The BEST puzzle game I've found!!. I love puzzle games like this but it's so hard to find a good one. The Room is awesome!!!! The graphics are gorgeous and the interface is brilliant and flawless I love that I had to tilt my phone for one of the puzzles. There's a story but it's not cumbersome and you aren't forced to listen to pointless dialog like most story puzzle games. The puzzles are challenging which is awesome but I love that they give you the option to get a clue if you touch the question mark in the corner rather than just popping the clue up for you. This game is extremely addicting and I am SO happy that they made sequels because I never want it to end. I love, love, love this game!!!

Its good. I really like this game. Personally I thought a lot of it was too simple, but thats mostly because I'm an avid puzzler and I've puzzled enough that I don't find puzzles too puzzling. To an average or new puzzler, its puzzling. It keeps the puzzler wanting the puzzle to keep puzzling and is enjoying to de-puzzle. If thats not to puzzling to understand. Its worth the $0.99 although I am sad to see the other ones much higher prices (namely the last for $4.99. That will take a while to scrounge up). Keep on puzzling until the puzzle is impossible to puzzle. Then call me and I'll de-puzzle it. I hope there is a 4. -A

I love this but….. This is such a great game, challenging, the graphics are great, the puzzles are thinkers and the hints are just that…hints not answers. I don’t want the game played for me, just a nudge in the right direction. That being said, I am stuck on the piano in chapter 5 and can’t get more than the 2nd hint….I’ve even googled help blogs to see what I was missing, which I am seriously opposed to…and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I guess I’m not as smart as I thought because I cannot get past this step. It’s so frustrating because I want to continue and I am leery of buying another installment if this is standard. These are great games but definitely need to be older than 9 and smarter than the average bear

HOW TO FIX THE GLITCH!!!. Edit: If it’s glitching out like crazy, (just like mine was) then you need to change your screen settings from Zoomed to Standard. Someone else in the comments mentioned it and it worked for me!!! Original review: My game is perpetually stuck on a cutscene on only the second puzzle! I can’t believe I paid for this! It keeps panning over to what I just opened or moved or it will play the cutscenes over and over and OVER and Now IM OVER IT. This needs to be fixed please! I want to play this series starting from the beginning!!

As Good As It Gets. I came on “The Room” series by accident when my attention was called to The Room Old Sins, which is actually the 4th in the series. I started with this one, The Room, because it was first, and you can try it for free for the first level to see if you like it. If you do, you can finish the rest of the game for .99. After finishing this, I immediately signed on for #2, and have now completed it. If complex puzzles, logic, gadgets, gizmos, unexpected turns and the occasional red herring are your thing, you have arrived. I say this, and not lightly; these games are FLAWLESSLY executed. They are challenging without being impossible; and hints are provided, if you want to use them, that give you an increasing degree of guidance to get you through any difficult spots. I’m a senior citizen, and I have hooked my wife, my mid-30’s daughter and my teenage grandson on The Door. Fun for all ages. The graphics are outstanding, the music totally right and the atmosphere perfect. The fee is small for several hours of enjoyment, and after the first one, a purchased game will support multiple profiles. No ads. No nonsense. Just some seriously challenging fun!

Fun and eerie puzzle game! Great graphics too!. I love puzzle games. I, however, don't play them that often because I could never find a really great one. Until now! The graphics are great. The story is interesting and eerie. The puzzles were a bit difficult yet so fun. I love the feeling I get when I finally figure out how to open the different boxes. Overall just a fantastic game. I love that it's free. You can only play the first 4 chapters I think and if you want to continue the story then you download and buy the sequel games. When I came to the end of this game I was so bummed because I wanted more!

An Engrossing, Atmospheric Puzzle Game. The Room is both a wonderful puzzle game and a delightfully eerie experience. First of all, the puzzles are excellent. True to its name, the game takes place inside of a single room, where the player is tasked with unlocking the secrets of a mysterious cabinet. The puzzles involve examining, deciphering and unlocking a series of increasingly intricate mechanical devices. Solving them not only provides a satisfying challenge, but it works in tandem perfectly with the second major element of The Room. That second element is design. Everything about The Room is designed. Whether it’s the puzzles, the inventory items, the notes or the atmosphere, absolutely everything was done on purpose. Every part of each device is a possible piece of the puzzle. Every item in your inventory can be examined, and many have secrets to solve themselves. The quiet ambience and pitch black background both add to the overall eeriness and focus the player’s attention solely on the device in front of them, right where it should be. It may not be long, but it does everything right, and for 99 cents you won’t find a more intriguing game.

Beautiful and addictive. I love love escape rooms and puzzles games of that sort. I’m left disappointed by most games I find. I came across this one and it exceeded my expectations. The puzzles are cool. They don’t hinge on the storyline but it’s a nice vague background concept that provides spooky atmosphere. And finally this game is beautiful! I spend way too long admiring the antique furniture and puzzle pieces while I do the puzzles. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes puzzles. Normally I would never pay for a game. But I was shocked by how cheap this was compared to the quality of the game itself. I cannot wait for more of these!

WOW. I am now officially a “The Room” junkie. In fact, I just finished the 2nd game & am starting the 3rd game. This is really more than just a “puzzle game”. It’s kind of like if an “RPG” game and a “puzzle/logic” game had a baby; this would be their mutant offspring. The graphics and animations are unbelievable for an app on a hand held device. This is definitely comparable to a full PC game. Within a few minutes of playing I truly forgot I was playing on my hand held device. The storyline is extremely well written allowing you to easily become fully immersed in the game. The puzzles are challenging, but not overwhelming or impossibly so. I truly enjoyed the fine balance between challenging, but not ridiculously difficult. Don’t get me wrong, the puzzles are by no means simplistic. If your someone that enjoys the challenge of figuring things out and problem solving, then you will enjoy this game. Thank you to the developers for providing such a beautiful and enjoyable game with NO COMMERCIALS! This game also doesn’t constantly force you into expensive in-ap purchases just to be able to progress in the game. After you complete the first level you are given an option to end there or play the rest of the game for a one time in app purchase of $0.99. Well worth the hours of commercial free game playing.

Keep Making and I’ll Keep Buying. Amazing graphics, haunting music, challenging puzzles, and the anticipation of what will happen next....made me a very happy woman. Never even heard of these games until I saw the add for The Room: Old Sins. Looked pretty interesting but, I wasn’t interested in paying $5 for an app game. I saw the first one for only a buck and downloaded it. Finished it in a few addicting hours and much to my delightful dismay, I bought the remaining three. That’s how freaking awesome this series is. I don’t pay for games. I WILL pay for these though.

First Rate. Out of 100, The Room Pocket -- and the entire series -- earned a 95. Incredibly imaginative world full of clever, mechanically themed puzzles. I really enjoy how all the moving parts come together to form amazing objected/processes, etc. Excellent graphics and soundtrack, responsive, practical controls and challenging puzzles to solve for more puzzles. It pulls you in. Unique puzzles, difficult, yes, but the hint system is as it should be; it offers hints without giving the answer & ruining the challenge. Highly recommended. Worth more that the cost to players. **And that is a complement, BTW, not a suggestion to raise prices!

You have to pay for chapters (pocket). The game is super fun. It’s mysterious and really grabbed my attention! Though, when ever I finished chapter 1, it asked me to upgrade or restore my purchase. I looked at the price and it was only 99 cents. But I find it pretty annoying how you needed to pay for each chapter. I did some more digging and apparently when you DO try to pay, it doesn’t let you, some say it’s a common glitch:( I myself haven’t tried paying, and I don’t intend to. But I only put 1 star because I think it’s pretty annoying how there is a glitch they don’t care to fix. Also, it’s kind of silly to make someone pay for a chapter they are just going pay for agin in 5-10 minutes when they solve it. Though, it would be a reasonable price if the chargers were longer, and harder to solve. It’s pretty fun though! 😅

2 time play. I played this game about 2 years ago and was looking for room escape games and decided to re download it to see if it still gave the same level of difficulty. The game is still as interesting as the first time I played it and actually caught more details the second time around as I wasn’t as creeped out about a jump scare or the bag round music. Definitely worth the 1.99 if you’re looking for a puddle game that doesn’t necessarily give away the game with hints.

The Benchmark. This series sets the bar. I’ve played some of the games that reviewers will compare it to but they don’t measure up on any level to The Room Series. Sometimes I stop playing the game just to marvel at the craftsmanship and beauty of the objects. The controls are fluid and intuitive. While I think The Room 2 is my favorite, I recommend playing them all. I’m actually almost through my second time and enjoy them just as much. Bravo to the team.

I am very intrigued with this game. So because I will never know the name of those initials “AS”…I ended up calling him Alexander Smite. Maybe his name did show up in the game…?? If so, I dont remember seeing it lol I really am intrigued with this game and your other room games so OF COURSE I had to play them all 😃 the storyline is just amazing and it gets me interested every time—to where I am wondering if you’ll make another one and we can play as one of the people from “The Circle”. Oooh that would be hella fun. I have enjoyed every room game you put out and cannot wait to see what else you guys have in store. I love mystery-escape kind of games. No matter how many times I’ve played this, I still get stuck on what to do. Keep it up!!! You got me hooked.

Generously calculating. I’m on my second round with The Room series. This is something that initially caught my ear. I heard the beginning melody by chance. The son of a friend was playing the games. I got home, downloaded them, and have been in true awe since. The twists and turns are incredible. This second time around I’m taking no hints. It’s as if I’ve created news games. Glitch with piano in epilogue. I tried everything to do the piano puzzle even using a pointer tool but despite pressing the correct keys in the second of the 3 sequences, I get told error. After multiple tries I gave up in frustration and deleted the app. Otherwise a great game but this glitch destroyed my interest.

Well worth the price. First chapter free and only a small cost for the full game if you want to proceed. Graphics are also very nice. I highly recommend if you want a challenge.

It’s okay. Had a couple glitches where I had to reset the game because the screen kept going black on my next step. Some of the clues are too straight forward and could be a little harder.

Highly reccommend this game!. I know this game was popular several years ago but it certainly deserves much more attention!! Unlike some games i've found on the app store that are lacking depth and ingenuity, this game is so clever and I would definitely reccommend buying it. The price is worth every penny because the gameplay is fantastic- i never once had to leave the game in frustration, or come back to it later- the hints aren't too obvious but they help you figure it out yourself. I just finished the second game in the trilogy and i just had to come back and write a review! Love it!!

Fantastic. This game was so intense and intriguing. The plot was amazing and I loved that there wasn’t just one level. All four levels were great there were a few moments when I was a bit stuck but who doesn’t love a bit of a challenge. I wish the games didn’t cost money bc I love them so much, 99 cents was fine for the first game but the 2nd and 3rd one are just too expensive. I hope that if I do one day purchase them that they r not just as good as the first one, but better!

Leader in its class. Yeah, okay, after playing through this I understand why this got such positive reviews when it came out. There are quite a few of these kinds of games, but this one is just so well done. Everything is beautifully polished, the graphics and sound create plenty of atmosphere, and the hint system is pitched just right so as to give you a chance to figure out things yourself, but also ensure that you won't get competely frustrated. $1.49 well spent and I'm ready to try the sequel now!

Not working on iPhone 12 Pro Max. I absolutely love this series! Best games I’ve ever played. Just downloaded again for a nostalgia trip and was disappointed to find that I can’t progress past the Telescope part. Once you turn the key crank to make the viewer turn, and then look through the telescope, it just sits on a black screen. Please fix!

App freeze. I got stuck on 3rd level. And by that I mean on 3rd level after I get ordinary key and set up the lens out and then I installed a photo in it. After that when I try to look at the photo via altered lens then app goes black. It freezes.

Great purchase!. This is a fantastic game! It gives you the illusion of being in an escape room or something but it’s right there on your phone! Incredible and Cheap!!!. Holy heck this is such a great and refreshing puzzle game :) It doesn’t hold your hand but it’s also not unfair where you have to spend money to figure things out. You might be turned off by the demo model but then you stop and realise it’s ONE DOLLAR AND FIFTY CENTS! Absolutely recommend this blast of a game. Can’t wait to get to the center!

1890s mystical charm. Great puzzles, some were genuinely tricky, other very clever. Great 1890s mystic and mysticism vibe through the game, definitely a great little game. Might be better played on an iPad rather than phone so you can see more detail.

Only problem is glitch. Love this game so far!! But in chapter 2 as soon as you try to look through the eye piece at the photograph in the lens it just blacks out and the game shuts down. Super sad! Loved the game before this

Great but the flaw. I love it and I understand your trying to make Money off the app it's just. I feel like if these apps were free. A LOT more people would be. Buying them. Like me for instance I have no way of paying for the second app or third. Or the next level in the first app. These apps used to be free. I know this because YEARS ago my father installed app 1 And 2 and they were both free and I loved playing on them. So I installed them on my iPhone. Well worth a try. Downloaded as free compared with the later releases. I was quite surprised by the high quality visuals and the depth of some of the puzzles. Although simple to look at there is an engaging quality in this game. If you like puzzles that can make you think then this is for you. I think I will be giving serious thought to buying the others in the series once I complete. Very impressed.

Stuck without a clue...please help. I am really enjoying this game! But I have looked at the 4 prisms with my eye piece and aligned them to the only position that gives me three numbers. Stupid. I hate that when it gets to playing the piano they don’t show again the pattern of the keys you should press? What if you forget?

Works for ios14.7. Game works great for iOS 14.7.1 But my only reason for 3 star is it’s just too terribly short to play. Somewhat challenging but in other spots things were a bit easier and others where a bit harder.. but for 1.60$ cad I was somewhat ok with the length of the game but felt it could of had another level or 2 with it. May check out the other games if they’re similar price but more content otherwise it was a fun adventure while it lasted.

Horrible clues. What am I supposed to do with “look around for missing parts”, your clues aren’t even clues, they’re common sense.

Stick due to glitch. Got quite far after paying, great game. But now stuck. It is a glitch/fail/programming issue as I cannot proceed. Asked me to take the map piece but I already did and placed it. So the piece I pick up, there is nowhere to put it anymore. Frustrating.

Problems with the videos only downfall. Awesome game! Really enjoyed it and actually needed the hints a couple times lol. Had an issue with the telescopes, when going to look through the first one with or without the eye piece the video wouldn’t show up and when using the eye piece on the second one again the video would not show up. Unfortunately when the epilogue came it wouldn’t load for me either :( other than that really great game

Broken. Its broken on first chapter i cant get pass the part where you rotate the golden circle with the spy glass i rotate it in the exact correct position but it wont let me, it doesnt work.

Can’t reach the Epilogue chapter.. The epilogue chapters don’t want to work for me. I open the game and all I get is a black screen. It did the same thing for me in room two as well with the lens and going through the house to find the word. Fun game over all but I think there is still a bug.

Glitch. Bought the game last night and there’s a glitch in the game that I can’t get past. I’m on part three where it’s asking me to take a better look at the photograph and as soon as I put the lens on and double tap the photo my entire screen goes black and the whole app freezes. Amazing. The Room games are amazing. They are challenging, but clues are provided in case you get stuck. The interaction design is wonderful (and that’s coming from a professor of Human-Computer Interaction). This is the closest thing to an in-person escape room, if not better. Amazing!

A Masterpiece!. I just finished The Room and absolutely loved it!! I pretty much only play these “types” of games, and this has by far been my favorite. No audio settings?. I had fun with this no doubt. Nothing was particularly difficult, but it was engaging. The thematic elements where nice and consistent. Knocked a star off for two reasons. First, in my 7+ screen I seemed to miss the hitbox for sections when trying to double tap to zoom in. So i found myself zooming in, out, in a couple of times to get the right element focused. I also found it frustrating when I was interacting with a small element and a lager one would turn/twist making me constantly fiddle with positioning. Secondly, there are no audio settings I could find. This is a slow, quiet game and while I dug the theme I would like to have been able to have music playing. Not being able to mute audio/sounds this was not a viable scenario (at least not on a single device. I ended up muting my phone and using my pc for music). Overall a good time with a few minor annoyances.

Absolutely the best game to date. I love mystery games in general, but I absolutely enjoyed everything about this game! Even the hints are cryptic (they don’t tell you what to do), so you don’t feel guilty using them. It was difficult, without being overwhelming....all for only $0.99!, Their was nothing I didn’t like about this game, and I hope to find many more of them!!

Great but major glitch. This game is an excellent series of puzzles that flow well. I completely lost myself in solving each stage. A few spots had me thinking longer than others in order to solve but it was a great process. Unfortunately there is a glitch that made the puzzle unsolvable without the help of a walkthrough. No spoilers, but an animation should occur that leads to the next clue... this caused the game to crash. I had to skip the animation and use the help of a walkthrough in order to continue on. I was very disappointed at needing outside help in order to solve.

Pretty great....just one thing. I realize this first came out four years ago, so that may be the issue to my one issue: it GLITCHES now and then. I own an iPhone 8+ on the most updated iOS system. Also, I can't view the epilogue AT ALL. It’s a shame since this is actually a very well created game. Also, is there supposed to be sound? I heard nothing. Although to be fair, after awhile I would’ve muted it. The game is designed very well and challenging enough without being frustrating. One feedback is that it’s extremely dark in terms of layout. I had to turn my phone’s brightness up to almost 75% just to see everything. I had gotten stuck because the lighting in the game was so dark, I kept missing the next clue. Those things aside, it was a really fun game and I’m looking forward to trying the other chapters. I just hope, they don’t glitch because of their old coding.

Crash! But it can be fixed. Chapter Two Crash when looking through small telescope. Video doesn’t load. But if you close the app and then click on it to open it skips the video and moves to the next step. You will have to look up what happens when you look through but other than that it works. Check the developers website for faqs on crashes and fixes.

Amazing game with profound philosophy. Room is so far the best puzzle-solving game I’ve ever played on iOS devices. The level design for this kind of games is challenging, I guess. I’ve played games that are either too hard for me to keep motivated playing on, or too easy not to be bored. Room has the perfect balance point. The graph and the box design are stellar. Definitely recommend it.

Broken game, and AFTER I made the purchase.. I used to play this game when I was small, so I thought it’d be fun to try it again. After playing through the free trial, I decided to spend $0.99 to buy the rest of the game. I get to the third box, and when I put the photograph into the frame in the safe, my screen turned black and froze. I assumed it was just a glitch, and restarted the app. When that didn’t work, I reluctantly restarted the game and tried again. When I got to the same spot, I put the photo in the frame again, and the same thing happened. I tried two more times, and it still didn’t work. Very frustrating.

HIGHLY ADDICTIVE GAME. I have literally gotten lost in this game to the point that I wish the game never ended lol all though if you do complete this one luckily there are several other levels you can also download I just completed this one and the room 2 I plan on downloading the others as well…. It does charge a small fee like 1.99 or something like that but I mean honestly it’s highly worth it they should charge 4.99 because it’s a great game

GREAT game, BUT. I’m prefacing this by saying that this game is immersive, interesting, and AMAZINGLY constructed. If you like puzzles, you’ll love this game. However, this took me about two hours total to complete, and it cost me a dollar. And the rest of the Room games cost more. I was expecting more gameplay, not just four chapters that were about thirty minutes each. I love the gameplay itself but the cost is a big no for me. If you have the money to spare, great! But for me, this little gameplay isn’t worth it.

Buy it, just buy it!!. This game is worth every penny. Fabulous graphics, very challenging puzzles. I play it, wait about 6 months (when I’ve forgotten everything) and play it again. I like that there are free hints in case I get stuck. I have purchased every game in this series. No worries about ads or extra fees after purchasing- everything is included.

The Room Pocket. The Room Pocket is without a doubt one of the best puzzle games I have ever played. I am an avid video gamer and this is incredible. The graphics are outstanding. The story line is awesome and so well thought out. The price is fantastic. I do hope there are many more games Of this nature to come. At this time I am going through the game a second time since it has been quit a while since I have finished all the levels. Bret

Very impressive!! Addictive!. I am not a gamer per se, but I found The Room: Old Sins while looking for puzzle games and was intrigued. I wanted to start from the beginning, which is this one, and I was hooked from the start. It’s free to try at first, so you have nothing to lose if you don’t like it. I can’t imagine you won’t. It is never boring! I literally want to jump inside this game!!

Puzzle Box. I originally purchased this game many years ago! After playing; "The Room: Old Sins", I decided it was time to give this old game a try. After all these years, this game was fascinating to revisit. I am so hooked, I purchased; "The Room Two". Both games have the BEST puzzles combined‼️😁 The imagination runs wild in this epic journey. I’ve been playing both every day!! 😁 This game is so much fun, I can’t believe it would be possible after all these years! Try not to compare this game to Old Sins; it’s a completely different game entirely! While many puzzles are similar, the design is distinguishing and unique. Even though I complete this game in half an hour, it’s thrilling to play and definitely worth my time!! Huge fan!!!!. I’m no stranger to escape rooms and this is by far the best mobile game that I found that is close to an actual escape room!!! I absolutely love the fact this game makes you think and remember things and that the hints are just so obvious that it stops being fun. The graphics are amazing the backstory is amazing this is an all-around fantastic game if you like to use your brain

Good Puzzle Game But.... I give the app 4 stars because of some issues: 1) You can't manipulate the whole object in zoom mode. You have to zoom out, move the object, zoom in, look, zoom out, move the object, zoom in again, look, zoom out again, etc. It's awkward. This is NOT how people naturally look at objects. When people look at an object up close, we tend to rotate it around up close. Perhaps there should be a mode for this. 2) Aligning 3D objects is too sensitive. You have to get it just right else you sit there spending time adjusting it. It gets frustrating. This happened to me at least twice. 3) Some Glyphs were too small. This was especially true in the epilogue. I had to get a magnifying glass to make them out.

Great game.. My friend recommended this game to me today. I don't like paying for phone games but WOW. I can't stop playing. Love it. Can't wait to pay for the next two. It makes you angry for sure. Frustrating. Then you hit the hint button and it was SO OBVIOUS it makes you want to throw your phone but you stop because then you couldn't play the room any more. It's a great game. Spend a buck, ya cheap son of a gun.

Try it, you'll like it!. I believe this game was either free or 99 cents. If you like puzzles n brain teasers, you should give this a shot, it's definitely worth it. When I first heard of this game, I was skeptical if I would like it or not. But I gave it a try n so far I have bought every game in the series. It kinda reminds me of Silent Hill, only without the zombies. You are basically solving puzzles n a mystery at the same time. The story could use a little work, but the rest of the series gets progressively better.

Mark T. I recently finished a game similar to this one and enjoyed it...but, The Room is so much better! I love the 3D, the lens that helps you see find clues, clever puzzles, and a “hint” option you can use when stuck. It doesn’t give it away, just points you in the right direction. The other game, which I won’t mention, had puzzles impossible to solve. Several times I had to use the walk through’s online to advance. Yeah I cheated.

This is the game that got me hooked. I played this game because I was bored and waiting for other games to progress. It blew me away! And started a whole new love for locked room/hidden objects/mystery/adventure games. There's nothing like this in the App Store. I've played 1 and 2 -- 3 is downloading right now and I'm going to be up all night playing it! If you love this game, I suggest you also check out Fire Maple Games and Haiku Games. :)

Really good. This game is still good, you get to try one puzzle in the beginning for free then you can just pay 0.99$ for the whole game. It’s quite fun, it’s spooky and I haven’t had no glitches or anything. Plus there are no ads, makes the game 100x more nice. It’s really fun to play and you can play it anywhere. I suggest this game to people who wanna play puzzle games :)

Amazing. The best game I’ve ever downloaded. When you think of a puzzle game, you expect it to be boring or plain. The Room’s great graphics, sound design, intense backstory, and incredibly clever mechanisms have me captivated. I’ve completed the first one and couldn’t download Two and Three fast enough. Literally the best game I’ve played in a long time.

Gorgeous. I’ve bought this game twice now. Once a few years ago and recently after I remembered it. This game is gorgeous and keeps your interest the entire time. Not to mention, the second time I had bought the game, enough time had passed that I didn’t remember most of the puzzles and so it was like I got to enjoy the boxes again for the first time! Totally worth the money. 5 stars!!

The Greatest Puzzle Game Ever. First of all I have to establish that I never write reviews because everybody has a different experience, taste, like, etc. I also find it mundane but this game/app deserves it. So much work went into the creation of this game. So much detail and effort didn't go unnoticed. Difficult and fun meet at an exciting crossroads. My Christmas present to myself will be....the sequel! Thank you staff, keep up the amazing work and keep making these sequels.

It’s just a great game. I started with the pocket edition and have now played the whole series. The puzzles are fun, the graphics are beautiful and the unique and enticing story really draws you in. Sometimes it seems like games are not designed to be played on a phone or tablet but that is not the case here. Overall it’s a clever and well-done game that I’d recommend to anyone who likes puzzles.

Enjoyable but short. I liked the game a lot but was kinda sad as to how short it was. Not bad for a dollar I suppose. Just wish it was longer. I want the others but I'll have to wait because spending money on games isn't high of a priority. One of my favorite things about this game though is how pretty everything looks! Will definitely come back at some point. Maybe if I get a gift card or something lol

Fantastic Puzzle Game. I normally don’t spend money on apps, but this one is well worth the price of admission. If you like mechanically styled puzzles or figuring out how things work this is the game for you. The puzzles are difficult and really make you think (that’s a good thing in my book). There is a bit of a vague story throughout the game that leaves you curious for more. 5 stars all the way.

Great game. I finally tried the room. It was always a game that interested me but I never gave it a try. Seeing the fact that the developers were releasing multiple titles made me believe that they were actually good games. So I tried the demo and then quickly I was hooked and bought the first game for .99 cents. I ran through the first three chapters and it's amazing! Challenging puzzles and somewhat eerie as well. Can't wait to finish so I can play the other two games.

amazing!. this is probably one of the most underrated apps in the app store by far. it’s design alone is amazing, especially for such an old app. I remember playing this when it first came out and now i’ve returned to have another go and it’s all just the same fun. The puzzles are challenging, and get so much better as you advance between the other levels (totally worth the money to eat two and three!) would recommend to absolutely anyone to try out!

An Excellent and Challenging Mystery Puzzler. This game is intricately and imaginatively crafted. There are levels upon levels of complexity all stacked within each other. Some might complain that the game is quick/short. I would suggest for any wanting a true challenge, complete the game without using and of the hints. It will increase the satisfaction and playing length of the game. I immediately bought the sequel after playing this game. A+.

Not for phones with small screens. An iPhone 7, 8, SE, any mini…the detail and level of fine-tune screen interaction just makes this game a frustrating slog on one of these small-screen phones. Further, the visuals are really dark, so if you have a phone with notoriously bad battery stamina—like the 2020 SE—and it’s on low battery mode, you’ll need to crank up the brightness big time to be able to navigate the game. I might try this on my tablet, but it’s about worthless on my SE. Thankfully it only cost me a dollar so no big loss.

Outstanding. I came across this puzzle game by accident and was immediately caught up in the story, the clues, and the ingenious gadgetry of the whole thing. From another reviewer I learned there are other levels or games to this; I’ve just played Room and can hardly wait to see what’s next. This is a superb way to spend a few hours!

Eerie, beautiful, and completely enrapturing. I don't write reviews EVER. But this game definitely deserves one. Absolutely beautiful graphics, smooth mechanics, amazing music and sound effects, well thought-out and creative puzzles, and an enthralling storyline that kept me playing until I finished the entire game. Fun and cerebral. I was looking for a game I could play on my iPhone and not be bothered by other people and this is perfect. The graphics are beautiful and the little puzzles enough to keep me engaged but not overwhelmed. The hints come in handy when needed. Looking forward to playing the other Rooms in the series. By the way, don’t search Facebook for The Room, but rather search by the name of the company, Fireproof Games. I stumbled on some scary groups on FB. My eyes are still burning. Enjoy!

Awesome! Amazing! Outstanding! Stellar!. I bought this game for Nintendo Switch originally and it’s FAR beyond what I expected! I love that the developers incorporated alchemy into this mind-blowing game! My only issue with the mobile version is that it freezes from time to time (sometimes on the best cut sequences!). Please address this. Although I’ve had issues, make no mistake, I WILL BE BUYING MORE for the simple fact that I have ALL confidence that the bugs will be addressed. Ba Ka🔥

Beautifully intriguing. After playing a real life escape room, I downloaded the app to see what this was all about. Beautiful visuals and intriguing story. I wish it had more closure at the end. I didn't really get it. And I wish there were fewer hints, though some parts are impossible without hints (as you can't actually hear or see changes or irregularities. Still 5 star in my book though. Makes full use of the phone's capabilities. If only they could incorporate hard presses somehow...

Get this game!!. I waited to review until I’d played The Room 1 and 2. I believed the first game was a fluke and 2 couldn’t possibly live up to the original. I was truly wrong! If you love great quality graphics and sound effects, and you love to tinker, find and unlock puzzles, this is the game SERIES for you. I hope this helps you on your hunt. I’m on my way to the 3rd installment. Enjoy!

Highly engaging and fun!. Reminds me of the Myst series, only more engaging. No characters, just very engaging. Challenging but not too hard with plenty of hints within the game if you want them. I hate when you get totally stuck on some aspect of a game and there are numerous sites with hints and even complete walkthroughs on this popular series of games. I'd recommend playing The Room series in order.

Seriously fantastic!. A thinking person's game. The setting is great, it involves everything mystery, suspense, and wonder should have in a package. Fun and challenging, this game is hard to put down once you start cracking codes from the clues given. Worth every star; What I'm doing next? Playing the second one! This is worth the $.99, if you like puzzles and really cool visual stimulation this game is definitely for you.

Don't even bother downloading with an older iPhone. It says that the app is supported on devices as old as the iPhone 4 on the screen when you get the app. But after waiting for two hundred years for it to download I was welcomed with the surprise of "Sorry this app is not supported on the iPhone 4. It is, however, supported on the iPhone 4s". Sorry for ranting but I can't stand not being able to play an app after I get it.... I don't know if any of you can relate but when I bought BattleField 4 I didn't have a hard drive and I didn't know you had to have one so after spending $60 on the game I couldn't even play it until I spent another $100 on a hard drive... Games are great, but fix the restore purchase issue.. I bought the original first version before it was called pocket. For some reason I am expected to repurchase the game now that you have changed the name? I have the second and third release, I wanted to replay the entire series. I am incredibly disappointed that I can't play a game I already purchased. Otherwise the story and gameplay are phenomenal and I highly recommend playing if you enjoy any sort of critical thinking, puzzles, and/or sci fi stories.

The best adventure/escape game I’ve ever played!. If it’s the price that deters you then don’t get that Starbucks either. I’m telling you for just about the same price as a large Starbucks you can be enjoying this hard to put down game with your cup of coffee. The graphics are amazing, box in a box in a box thing is like childhood, and the puzzles are clever. Get it! Enjoy yourself!

AMAZING. I have never seen such a beautifully well done game about an escape room. I’ve been searching and I get really simple stuff that don’t challenge my brain. Such a shame that I can’t play it because I can’t pay for this game but from what the first level was I can tell they put a lot of effort towards this game. Best Game Ever?. This is by far the best game I have ever played, I immediately bought the full version without a second thought and boy was it worth it... Intensive immersive and mind-bending puzzles, the amazing sense of accomplishment when you finally find a new piece and an intriguing (albeit slightly confusing) storyline make this game absolutely fantastic... 10/10 would recommend for everyone. The hints are also nice, forcing you to think without giving you all the answers

Fireproof Games. Hands down the best game makers in the AppStore. The Room franchise is THE best franchise as well. The games are superbly made. The music does exactly what it should - add to the ambiance. The puzzles make you think but they are not frustratingly difficult. The artwork is beautifully done and overall, the mood is creepy and engaging. I will gladly give Fireproof my money time and again as their games are worth every single penny.

Attention grabbing. It’s 4:00 am and I just finished the first chapter. What a difference from all other games I’ve played. No interruptions with ads. No times up or you ran out of lives so it’s time to do something else that isn’t what you want to do. Well, I’m telling you it’s not that way with this game. It kept my attention. It made me think without being frustrating so I found myself relaxing through the challenges. I am blown away and this is a definitely a passer on app.

Engaging game!! Enchanting sound effects. I liked this game a lot. The puzzles were just challenging enough, assisted by hints when I wanted them. The sound effects were deliciously creepy at times; they succeeded in getting me antsy while also making me laugh about how effective they were. There was more than one time when I wanted to look around the room (in the game) to see if someone or something else was in the room! Definitely check this game out.

Help with upgrade. So, I bought the upgrade for the game, and it isn’t working! I cannot continue through the game. Do not worry though, I am not one of those hate comment people, so let me say that I am a major fan of the tutorial, and I want to see what happens next! Definitely try it out. Also, developers, is it possible for you guys to help me out here and get me the upgrade? I don’t want to buy it again. Thanks!

Huh?. I mean... what? Try using the earphones when playing this game. I got lost in the sound at times and it was wonderfully freaky. The suspense... 😉. What I love the most is the interactive mode, the design, the background sounds, the eeriness... the clues ... oh... so maybe I love all of them the same. Now I read reviews before I purchase and a seller for me is, “I don’t buy games like this but I had to for this one”, or something along this line. So listen, I DON’T BUY GAMES LIKE THIS BUT THIS ONE IS ONE OF THE THOSE FEW EXCEPTIONS WHERE YOU JUST GOTTA!

Wonderful. The gameplay flows wonderfully as the game challenges the player to open his or her mind to many different ways to solve a puzzle. The game itself is not too difficult that make it frustrating, and not so easy that make it boring. Therefore, the game introduces box in which you (the player) has to figure out its many mysteries to unlock the secrets behind it. Simple but very well planned. I highly recommend it.
