This app is fantastic!. You can interact when reading,and become part of the book. Music accompanies every page and the beautiful illustrations come to life. Can not wait for more from this artist and if one loves to read,this app is just a small taste of the future of books on ; i- phones , kindle, and I-pads.

Best of genre. The semi-animated interactive book is a new and interesting medium. I’ve compared a few different producer’s versions. So far iClassics is doing the best job. The music is usually quite noteworthy and fitting and they often choose very well what to animate and how to do it in order to make vivid the most abstract yet poignant moments of the book. To the creators at iClassics, keep up a passion for quality and innovation and you’ll continue to do well!

Truly the most exciting Poe reading experience to-date. I've always loved Poe. There has never been so much depth in words, where every read, you desire to read again instantly. I truly feel he was always underrated as a true artist. Now, with these new interactive art books, you'll find yourself embracing your device for many moons. These uncanny, and remarkable stories come to life in these brilliant apps for iOS. I highly suggest purchasing part 1 then picking up the second. You simply can not refuse the pure enjoyment of reading these stories in such a clever, eerily delightful way for such a small hit to the wallet. Do yourself a favor and enjoy these ...collect them and have them. Build your collection as I'm sure the will be many more volumes to come. For the app makers themselves, bravo folks. You've got something that I will cherish.

Fantastic!. The creative and beautiful animations, artwork, music, and interactive elements that Play Creatividad have added to the timeless tales of Edgar Allen Poe makes for a wonderful reading experience (especially for Poe fans), and highlights the incredible potential of tablets as a literature medium. I absolutely love this app, as well as the first iPoe, and cannot wait for future installments and hopefully similar treatments for other classic literature.

Incredibly astonishing!. I am not a reader by any means. Reading has been a long painful process for many years, but I read through all three stories without being able to stop! I loved this compilation of stories and cannot wait to read more in the near future from other famous authors! Bravo, Well Done!!!

Very Cool. Artwork is very cool, the music, creepy, and I enjoyed all of these volumes.

So good, but I have one tip.... Keep this app closed and away from kids. Every so often a niece or nephew plays with my iPad, and two of them nearly peed their pants when they came across it. But that’s just testament to how creepy it is! Well done.

A Must Have for Literary Fans. This app brought Edgar Allan Poe's stories to life and allows you to interact with key scenes throughout each story. It is exciting because you never know what you're about to see as you plunge deeper and deeper to darker parts of each story. I almost didn't want to finish The Black Cat, I knew that ending was going to scare the heck out of me. lol I wasn't disappointed.

Things will never be the same. In the past I have read Poe's works in solitary to capture the horror of his words. This app changed everything. The music sends chills down your spine when you read each maddening sentence and the moving interactive illustrations just add onto the terror. If you like Poe, then you are definitely going to enjoy this app with a haunting smile!

Great!. Great app to read up on some of his greatest stories! If you ever need assistance, customer service helps with. I hesitation. Fixed all my app problems & complications after the update with no problem at all!

One annoying problem. I love the stories and the illustrations are wonderful but it is so frustrating when the pages won't turn with the first swipe. Many times it takes two or three swipes and some pages won't turn at all. You have to touch the half-round icon at the bottom of the screen that opens the layout of all the pages in order to move to the next page. Only a small disruption but it would be nice to turn pages without a struggle.

Exquisite. The app is well designed and gorgeous. The interactivity is great and sometimes quite surprising! Suggestions: perhaps the ability to hear a narrator dramatically read the stories so users can hear it, but this should be an option you can turn on and off. Great job.

Phenomenal!!!. Made my life! I love these stories! Though I wish the pages weren't so easy to turn at times, the stories were flawless and adding the animated pictures only added to the overall feel of each story! There should be more apps like this, can't wait for part 3!

Macabre. Poe has always been one of my very favorite writers. I really enjoyed the way that this collection brings the tales to life. The illustration is outstanding and I enjoyed the extra creepiness added by interacting with the stories through the animations hidden in the Artwork. I look forward to more from this developer.

Beautiful, terrifying work. I own volumes one and two of the iPoe collection and will be buying the rest. These people do awesome, meticulous work and truly bring the stories alive. It gets all five stars, but this one is a bit short. It's still quite worth it; the artwork is extensive and the level of detail is stunning.

Amazing.. This App adds to the work of Poe a presence with appropriate background music, artwork and occasional animations. It does not read it to you and is not a movie. I doubt if let my kids use it for fear that they'd have nightmares. It was a wonderful unnerving experience. I think I'll now go and buy the first one.

Cannot access. Can't access any of my purchased apps after the update.... very frustrating considering I paid for all 3 volumes

Beautifully Horrific. Sheer Delight!

It's no longer working.. This app was absolutely amazing until the most recent update, and now the app won't even open. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon because they did amazing work on this. The artwork is beautiful, and music is haunting and draws you in while being absolutely beautiful, and effects both in the pictures and the sounds are wonderfully done and perfectly timed. Only wish there were more than just a few stories in each app!

Suspicious. These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission.

Outstanding and perfect!. Edgar is my favorite author, so I love reading his stuff, and this just made reading it all the better. The music keeping you hooked on every word, and going along with story and the words. The interactions keeping it fun and exciting. This app is definitely worth every penny. It made reading Edgar all the much more fun :D

What a pleasure.. I been reading these apps for a couple of days, is such a pleasure to interact with the book and the lustrations are nothing but gorgeous such amazing work for part of the developers.

Poe as never read before. Bought this app impulsively after seeing it pop up in the features section, and I have not regretted it since. The illustrations and music are well done and really add to the experience. Of course it's not a "must-buy," but considering the talent on display here, it's definitely worth the price.

Awesome. Absolutely the best rendition of Poe I have come across so far. I am a longtime fan and this collection will certainly quench the Poe’s fan thirst, but newbies will be drawn in by the suspenseful music and dark atmosphere of the app. Great collaboration!!

Horrifically Beautiful. I love Edgar Allan Poe and this app just makes the experience of reading him even more exciting and enjoyable. I never thought that Poe could feel any more real than the text alone. My favorites are "Annabel Lee", "The Raven", and The Black Cat--amazing! Also, the translations are perfect! I would like to see "The Bells" and "A Dream Within a Dream" though.

Another great classic brought to life.. I have enjoyed everything that you guys have brought to life. Vol 2 is just as great as vol 1. I enjoy your work so much that I have downloaded all of the horror i classics you’ve done so far. Can't wait to see what you guys do next. I would like to see what you all could do with the Scary Stories to tell in the dark trilogy. I look forward to seeing what you guys tackle next. One hundred percent satisfied.

Beautifully crafted presentation. As with iPoe 1, this is a beautifully illustrated and animated collection of some of Poe's best-known works. I had never read "Hop-Frog" before, so this was a nice surprise, along with old favorites "The Raven" and "The Black Cat." I also enjoyed the "bonus features" like the Poe Route (with a map highlighting some major events in the writer's life) and sketches of some of the characters. A must-have for die-hard Poe fans.

Awesome Poe!. I really enjoyed this app. I bought it on a whim and was impressed by the imagery and how much it complimented the stories. I had tried to embrace Edgar Allen Poe's stories in the past but always seemed to get hung up on his prose. This time the words flowed effortlessly and I was shocked at just how scary Poe's work really is. No wonder he is considered on of the great horror writer's of all time. His characters are all so psychologically damaged. The Tell Tale Heart scared the bejesus out of me! Great fun!!

The Best Literacy App Ever!. My English teachers NEVER explained the importance of this author, and only required me and my classmates to read one of his classics. I am so glad I discovered this app for I have earned a great deal of respect for Poe's work. Becoming a teacher myself, I will make certain to encourage reading when using this app. Keep the tales coming!

Amazing!. This app really does bring the stories to life. The Raven has always been a favorite of mine, but I'd never really read any of Poe's short stories until now, and I enjoyed them a lot. The illustrations are beautiful and best of all animated. And the soundtrack takes the experience to another level. Please make more apps like this!

Beautifully done. I think teenagers would particularly like this, but as an adult, I liked it, too. It's not just a set of short stories--It's more like an experience. The atmospheric music is very nice, as are the sound effects. There are interactive animations on most pages. Even the spacers on the text pages are thematic artwork, following the storyline. It's just beautifully done, with great attention to detail. My one complaint is that it's really quite short, just two short stories and one long poem.

I LOVE this app!. I can't wait to introduce my students to Poe through this app. We've always had a great time studying his works--especially the aspects of mood and tone--but this app takes all of that to an entirely new dimension. I couldn't be happier, and my fellow teachers are all on board for checking this out too. PLEASE give us "The Raven" soon!

Would be 5 stars if it weren't for .... Brevity! It's very well done, but there is only about 35 minutes of content! I would have given it 3 stars for such an outrageous price tag, but I want to encourage this kind of thing, bringing life to literature and raising interest in it, but come on, volumes 1 & 2 should be in a single app and it shouldn't cost more than 1.99 MAX.

Excellent visual effects add to Poe's writing. I enjoy the iPoe collections and the visual and audio effects add to the horror.

Another well done. Just like vol.1 I enjoyed vol.2 very much. Even though its only three stories they are each much longer in length than the tales in vol.1 which i like very much and I feel fairly justifies the price. The music and interactions are wonderful! IPoe is now my absolute favorite app! I highly hope another volume becomes available soon! I will surely purchase it!!

Most fun I've ever had reading Poe!. I love these apps! I have been a diehard fan of Edgar Allan Poe since middle school and these apps are the most fun I have ever had reading Poe! The music is beautiful and perfectly written for the mood of each piece. The artwork is fantastic with great evocative feeling and fun nods to geekery. I cannot recommend these highly enough. Black screen. These interactive books where well done, and well worth buying. Unfortunately they seem not to be maintained and now all you get is a black screen.

Macabre. This is a great app, I fully expect to use in the classroom. I would have given it 5 stars if there were an option to hear a narrator reading the stories. Other than that, terrific job on setting/ mood and illustrations. This could be a fantastic educational app with some activities added as an option.

Awesome. When I was a little kid I would read Poe's stories by lamplight at night (sneaking when I was supposed to be asleep, XD). One of the best ways to read it in my opinion. I actually didn't expect this app to be all that good, but it was engaging and the paintings were beautiful, as we're the tracks playing in the background. I had a great time reading this to my younger siblings, and they had an even better time fooling around with the animations. I bought this only for the Raven, but I think I'm going to be purchasing the others as well. Great job.

Re-installed. I reinstalled the books I bought and they now work fine I erased the wallpaper app to reinstall it only to not be able to find it in the App Store

Wonderful once again. We love these! As long as you continue to create them, I will continue to get them. App runs smoothly, no hiccups. There is an option to share this with loved ones on all SM platforms. My kids LOVE it and it is a breath of fresh air from regular bedtime stories. The music, sound effects and interaction bring Poe's tales to life. Absolutely wonderful.

Great App - Great Support. I purchased this years ago. When I recently downloaded it again, I couldn’t restore the purchase through the app. One email to support and I was running within minutes.

An Inventive and Captivating Way to Experience Great Literature. It would be difficult to find a way to augment Poe's works. But this app does just that. Especially suited to be read out loud, this appears to be a perfect blend with this new media and the old. From its haunting background music to novel use of interactive graphics, this is sure to intrigue a new generation of eager learners.

I'm in love.. High praise for Play Creatividad. These apps are truly great. Great atmosphere is achieved through an exquisite and balanced blend of music, story (it's Poe), and interactive elements. Superb art direction. Please give us more authors!! I would surely buy more. For the time being for iPoe Vol. 2, however, I'm reserving the 5 stars until we get at least as much content as in volume 1; I'm sure it's on its way as the app hints. Keep up the great work.

Very creepy. I very much enjoyed your trio of classic Poe tales. I was familiar with the latter two. But it was being introduced to Hop-frog that caught my interest. Very well put together. Foreboding and haunting music. Nice pacing with amount of text to graphics. Segued well between action sequences. And stories were good choices.

Poe comes to life. It seems that Poe has gotten a lot of bad press. He was very much admired in France, however. This interactive approach to reading his works is very exciting. The combination of the music, the graphics, and the narrative lends to us an insight into Poe's mind and he implicitly throws out at us the potential dark side of our nature and what we might be capable of doing. He certainly understood the demon of alcoholism.

Pretty good. Really enjoyed the ending. Some pages a bit more boring than others but was really good. Music changed and really added to the suspense.

What?. This book took over an hour to load. I expected the most mind blowing book reading experience of my 23 years of life...but...it's....just....a book. With sporadic, meaningless filler animations. Oh dear lord the disappointment.

I have volume 1 i thought that it was average and then i got this one which is a classic in all senses i can,t wait until vol3 .Here is some suggestions for vol3 ,The Pit A nd The Pendulum,Lunacy (another of my favourites ),Fall Of The House Of Usher and Premature Burial these would be great for 3&4 hint hint!!!!.

Brilliant!. These 2 volumes have been amazing depiction of Poe's stories. The illustrations were fantastically drawn and animated. The music set up the mood without interfering. The combination of story, art and music completed a fantastic package. I cannot wait for more!

Most amazing app. By far this Poe app (and volume one) is the most incredible and interactive book app I've ever found. I hesitate to call it an app, as it seems much more than that...it is a work of art, an interactive thrill ride, a vehicle for Poe's work of the most unique and perfect proportions! It is too bad Poe did not have this technology ( and the brilliant team who created this app) at his disposal when he penned his work. He would have been catapulted into greatness immediately and those who didn't "get" his work back then may well have after viewing it in this manner. He was far ahead of his time and this app proves it. I am much ashamed to say that before this app, other than the raven, i wasn't really a fan and I was one of "those" who didn't really "get" his work either. But after reading, watching, and interacting with his poems and shorts, contained in volume one and two, I am now a Poe convert and love his work and moreover, I am a complete fan of the people who created this vehicle for his work! BRAVISSIMO ! Outstanding and if I could I'd give you a rating of ten stars out of five! Thank you for the most entertaining thrill ride, I've had reading, ever! ... Only one complaint, volume two is too short, waiting with baited breath for an update with more stories... Oh pretty please. if not I'll send a one-eyed black kitty your way!

Truly awesome!. It has been a long time since something scared me so thoroughly as "The Black Cat", and this second volume of stories is every bit as good as the first! I am keeping my fingers crossed that more sequels are to follow.

Greatly entertaining. This visually delightful retelling of some of Poe's classic tales was impossible to put down once I had started to read it.The music set the tone and the interactive illustrations were excellent. My only regret was that the stories had a limit. I'm greatly hoping that there will be Volume 3, 4 and more !

Fantastic!. This is one of the best literature apps I have come across. I am going to purchase Volume One right now.

I want to read this...but. I downloaded this app from the iTunes Store eagerly anticipating the second installment of the iPoe series. I asked myself, "What gothic fun awaits?" Then, as I tried to open the app, I was informed that I needed to download some files before it would open. "No worries," I said to myself, clicking the link to start the update whilst opening a cask of Amontillado to partake in the telltale pleasures of a glass while I descended into the maelstrom. I soon began to rue the morgue-like pace of the update and minutes started to fall and usher in a pit of mystification. Why wouldn't it finish? What a predicament! Patience. VPN. A little diddling. Nothing seemed to work. It would not continue the download or open the app. I began to feel like the man that was used up and then I was hit with a mesmeric revelation. Posting an iPoe app to the iTunes Store that requires an immediate wireless update should get the creators Tarred and Fethered. As a Poe fan, I am disappointed.

Wickedly awesome!. A very entertaining an frightening app. Great to read and listen along with, the sounds and artwork compliment the story perfectly!

iPoe 2. I love this app! I had a small problem with the auto-lock feature on my iPhone bumping me off the server during initial download. That was easily resolved, however, and I've never had such a fast response from customer support. These guys are great!

Horrifyingly good !. This is perhaps the best app I've seen on the AppStore. I am a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe, and this is just wonderful. The music, the sounds, the interactions, everything is set in place to be frightening and Poe !

Pure beauty !. These two Ipoe apps are truly a masterpiece of art. I want to thank and to congratulate so much their creators. It's art before being an app. It is not an app about art or an artist. It is art. It is so astonishing to see how every aspects fit together (the style of the drawings, animations, musics, the editing between text and visuals) to create such a moving experience.

Doesn't work. I was very disappointed that this app would not even be able to download this initial files to be able to open on my iphone5. I tried re-installing it but it led to the same issue.

These would be wonderful interactives. Also if you could do some Sherlock Holmes interactive stories that would be great as well!<3

Amazing app!. Is a masterpiece of interactive apps. There's no other app like this. The music the stories everything just fits so perfectly.

Brilliant, Horrifying, Beautiful. Since the first volume of iPoe came out I have been waiting and hoping for more of what I saw in the first volume. However I did not expect it to take off and that the first volume would be the last. I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong and in such a delightful and terrifying way. iPoe brings Poe's works to life in a way just under the calibur of a movie and just above a comic book; allowing the reader to better visualize what is happening, but to still get the whole story. To be completely honest I was blown away with how the Raven was portrayed. I can't count how many times I have read the Raven before and yet iPoe managed to give me a completely different perspective on it. I truly hope that more volumes arise from this, as there are so many good stories and poems to materialize. However, an interesting experiment might be to incorporate one of Poe's 'humorous' stories. But all in all well done and keep them coming.

Beautifully depicted. The three short stories in this volume are beautifully and creatively enhanced with illustrations and sound effects. Well worth adding to your library, and reading late at night. But don't let the young kids see it!

Great collection of works. This was a great read. Having only se familiarity with Poe I was excited to be able to read se of his other works and to have such a stunning soundtrack to go along with the reading. The ages are great for enhancing the imagery created by Poe's words.

Love it. I enjoyed the first one greatly and the second one does not disappoint. The ambient noise, music and delightful art work make for a truely novel way to enjoy Poe's stories. Thanks for the hard work!

More content. A lovely app not only visually appealing but easy to use. My issue is that at the cost for the bundle more pieces of work should be available. Another is that as a bundle purchase it would be nice for it to appear on screen as one app not three separate apps. Great job and happy to see it!

Carried directly into each story. Oh to be a child once again and to be introduce to Edgar Allen Poe in such a manner as this!!! The music, the graphic nature of the stories told, the page turning suspense all lead to incredible ends by a master story writer! Thank you for delivering an app that is certain to please all ages!

What a Treat!. I have tried to read Poe's stories many times but found them to be tedious. This app fixes that problem beautifully. I wish I had this in high school! English class would have been much more fun! A MUST to download...and share with your kids!!!

still written by amateurs -- software incomplete. Just like the original iPoe, this is half-baked software. It insists "some files need to be downloaded," but the download does not work. Doesn't anybody test this stuff (instead of having users do the testing)???? I imagine they will eventually fix this, as they did with the original iPoe app problems. In the meantime, 1 star (zero stars would be better) for the amateur programming.

Breathtaking!. Perfectly chilling stories, they were all disturbing, but captivating. The Black Cat, in particular, had my heart pounding! The animations and hands-on aspects really made the app interesting and exciting. I definitely recommend this

Worth the Money. This app is simply eerie and amazing. The Black Cat was simply one of my favorites in this one. I literaly jumped when I got to the ending. The music is amazing and creepy, the art and animation is fantastic, and well, it did make me jump! Congratulations to the creators!

Amazing.. I do not write reviews. I also don't spend money on apps but these apps are too amazing to ignore. I just went and bought the first one because I enjoyed this one way too much.

Never more. This was a fun ride. Great classic tales, terrific artistry with a bit of a twist! I look forward to the rest of the Poe series and the iClassic library. Had some minor issues on ios10: app crashed a few times and music had pops like an old record, but overall a definite recommend! Can't wait to see the next volume!

Well done!. I loved both iPoe books. Well worth the small amount paid. Great to read in the Fall at night. Poe was a great writer and the iPoe book authors do a great job of making the stories interactive.

Unbelievable. I haven't read a book in ages. I never in my wildest dreams thought that if I ever did read a book that it would be the writings of E.A.POE. I had no idea this stuff was so good. I love it. I want more and more.

Stunning. Now I've already love Edgar Allen Poe for his writings, but this app just made me love his stories even more. The art is gorgeous, the music provokes the right emotion, and the animations sent shock through me at the right time. I love this app!!!! I am very impressed with what I have just seen.

Great Work. The artwork and the music are perfect, the only one that took me out of it even a little was the slave leia and vampirella costumes in masque of the red death, though they were a nice touch. I would love to see an iLovecraft app next, that would be cyclopean. Thanks.

Another Winner!!!. I love iClassics! These folks choose the best stories, have amazingly immersive music, great art and loads of fun bits to play and interact with. So far I have all iClassics except the two new ones (Sleepy Hollow and Dickens) but can't wait to get them! All three Poe and Lovecraft collections have been awesome!

Good. It's a good adaptation of his works and interesting to read, however it is not very responsive. It takes forever to change the page, which is very irritating when you're trying to read the story. Overall well done, but I would give a higher rating if it responded better.

Superb. An app which proves necessity is the mother of invention. It only needs improvement on the ability to move around the chapters without having to flip through all the pages, which is where volume 3 improves upon.

Brilliant. The animations and audio make Poe's stories even eerier and more living. This app finally got me to read Poe shorts that I'd told myself I'd like to read for years. I wish more ebooks like this existed. I'd be a much more well-read person.

The Master of Morose. Buy this app. You will NOT be disappointed. Now, there's no real "right" and "wrong" when it comes to art, but the way this app brings the audio and visual together..... This is what it looks like when it's done RIGHT!! I'm so excited that they did another one!

Edgar Allen Poe 2. I love how the story comes to life! The music has good creeps to the story. The scariest one was the Black Cat. It scared me at the ending! Can't wait for you guys to make the 3rd one! I'm sorry I don't have any ideas yet.

Mind-blowing. the artstyle as well as the soundtrack are gorgeous and complement the stories. Overall I really enjoyed reading these in this new light. A definite must-have for anyone who likes Poe or just scary stories in general.

Completely fantastic. This has to be the coolest, most imaginative treatment of Poe I have come across. Readers are not only offered the stories of one of America's great authors, they also get small interactive pages to supplement the text. I especially loved the ending panel of the Black Cat. This is a must have for any fan of Poe!

Big Poe fan here. I have seen and read Poe in just about every format possible. I think the animation and illustrations included with these titles are OUTSTANDING!! Have already picked up vol1 and the wall paper can't wait for more.

The Way Poe was Meant to be Read. I've always loved the stories of Edgar Allen Poe, but simply reading them out of a book doesn't do them justice. The music and graphics really help to bring these stories to life, the way that they were meant to be.

Making Poe Fun Again. I already have and read all of Poe's works. I got the first edition. And now the second edition offers more of Poe's Works. Great to see them as a audio and visual experience in this way. Highly recommended. No problems found on ipad 2 wifi with ios 6.1

Amazing app. My favorite author ever is poe and sometimes it is hard to understand what is going on but this apps animations makes it easy to fallow and there timed right when u stop understanding plus the music is astounding this app is well worth the 2 dollars

Visually Stunning. Volume two was just as impressive as the first. The macabre elements and stunning graphics pulled me in from the start. The art style is beautiful and definitely worth the money spent.

Exceptional! Please make #3!. Ipoe is my first experience reading Poe, and it brings it to life! I can't play it in the dark because the animations and the music weave perfectly into the writing and make a supremely creepy experience. I would absolutely pay for iPoe 3!
