What’s the point of integrating with apple data?. I was excited to use this app since my work provides extra benefits through it, but have been sorely disappointed. I was expecting the Apple health data integration to actually do something… silly me! When I track my BBT, I use another app on my Apple Watch to save it to Apple health data so I don’t have to fumble with my phone in the morning. However, ovia doesn’t pull data from Apple health! I thought the integration was actually supposed to do something to help you limit how much manual data entry I have to do. I use other apps to workout, track my sleep, and they all feed into apple health. Ovia doesn’t use any of that data so it’s basically useless to me. I’m not manually inputting things I track automatically. Super disappointed. Two stars because the interface is fine, easy to navigate, and I like the integrated educational materials. But i’m back to looking for something with better data integration.

Amazing. I love Ovia, and I LOVE the sister pregnancy app. I had tried to conceive two years ago and didn’t use anything to track anything so I wasn’t able to get pregnant, but within a MONTH of using this app I got pregnant!!! My daughter is now 3 months old and I recommend this app to everybody who wants to try for a baby or even just track periods!!! I only wish there was a way to add if you’re on birth control when just trying to track periods and if there is I haven’t seen an option to add that. I love that you have options for being irregular, but I also wish there was a way to report you’d just had a baby and don’t know when a period should start, but those are all just my personal wants and preferences. Everything about the app is amazing and it would be absolutely perfect and an end all app compared to other apps for these specific things. I cannot say how perfect and amazing this app is, I just love it so much and I highly attribute being able to have had my daughter with BOTH apps. It’s really nice also being able to talk to others who may be or have gone through what you’ve gone through!! It’s more personal than even going to a doctor since that doctor may not have experienced what you have or are experiencing!! Can’t say how much I love this app!!

App collects your data. App didn't help me track my fertility. It worked better at allowing me a place to chart my cycle which is irregular. If you’re irregular like me this app will likely not help you with fertility tracking & if you fail to chart a period the app will automatically add it to your calendar so i had to go back and delete those that were inaccurately added by the app. If this were the only problem i would have rated app more stars but it loses major points for using questionable tactics to collect personal information which seems really irrelevant to fertility tracking. I would receive emails from the app asking questions what birth order is your mother and after you answer it would say your mothers birth order doesnt affect your fertility! Useless questions, only makes sense to be used to collect personal information. The other problem with the apps questions are that they ask health related questions like have you noticed excess facial/body hair and after answering yes it told me i should ask my Doctor about PCOS. This is awful because for one you should never tell someone they have a medical condition based on one similar symptom. Thats like telling an old person oh you have HIV because you’re always sick! This is awful because it creates unnecessary worry and stress. Shame on you Ovia. Long story short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP. Quit collecting personal information and giving out poor advice!

Love Ovia but don’t need fertility focus!. I previously used a different period tracking app that didn't have as many symptom tracking options. After my 2nd kid was born, I suspected I had developed PMDD and wanted to track my mood and physical symptoms more specifically than just “happy” or “sad.” Ovia is fantastic for this, and I love the attractive and simple user interface. What I don’t like is the fertility focused stuff in my main feed. I’ve indicated that I’m using the app for cycle tracking and not to conceive. I don’t need the commentary on how it’s stressful to wait to take a pregnancy test, or how nausea might be an early sign of pregnancy. Can’t those kind of comments be removed if a woman indicates she’s not TTC? It’s not annoying enough for me to stop using the app but if the setting doesn’t appear to do anything, why does it even exist?

Location services pop up only has accept not deny options. I’ve really been enjoying the app for various tracking activities for my cycle. However, this morning I opened the app to update today, and there was a location services pop up to activate location tracking. I see absolutely no reason for a period app to need to know my geo location, which should be my option. Other than basic privacy, it’s a battery drain. The only option on the pop up is “ok” and there is no way to tap elsewhere and get it to close. I closed out the whole app twice and reopened it and it’s not going away. Apparently I am being forced to accept if I want to keep using the app. I gave only 4 stars for this incredible overreach. Hopefully programmers will fix this soon. If it’s not fixed within the next couple days I will update my review and switch to a different app on principle. It’s not right to force people to do things against their wishes. It’s unfortunate because otherwise it is a great app.

Very disappointed. When me and my husband started trying this was the app I fell in love with. Loved all the features. We got pregnant immediately was super excited and I didn't use the app again for two months. Unfortunately I miscarried at 8 weeks and now we are starting over. Now I am back to using the app again. With having a miscarriage they inform you to reset the app which I did multiple times. After entering my new data I noticed The app is completely wrong. As soon as I entered the start of my first period after my miscarriage the app is predicting the dates based off of the data I original entered before i was pregnant. I emailed the help center and they told me it goes based off of the information entered. So yes that is a correct statement BUT the app is predicting off of my original cycle. All in all help center did nothing and told me its based off the information entered and your fertile window isn't always 14 days after start of period. Well .....clearly not... I cannot be in my fertile window 3-4 days after starting my period. I am in health care I know when you can predict the fertile window but I like having the convenience of the app and all the other information you’re able to input. To sum up if you get pregnant and do not have a miscarriage great app BUT I would NOT recommend this after you experience a loss, super disappointing in not adjusting accordingly to the NEW information entered.

2 stars for the Ovia app. I really wish that the tracker would be geared toward what you want to track. For example: I chose the option “I am not ready to conceive yet” as my goal for the app. I only want to track my cycle in order to avoid pregnancy. This doesn’t seem to matter even though I put it as my goal. The app still encourages pregnancy and gives me tips and motivation to “keep trying”. This forms anxiety when not wanting to conceive yet. I have also notice the app to not be very accurate with my cycles. It only predicts based on what my last period was, not the information I have been tracking since September. I’ve continued using the app now just because I have tracked so much info since September and I don’t want to lose it. I basically ignore the projected period and ovulation predictions. Example: even though I enter in ovulation testing or if I take a plan B, the app doesn’t even consider those factors into my cycle. So I may as well just use the app to log info and track it myself. Thank you.

Stop Shame Around Menstruation. I’m just get started with the app, and from a usability perspective so far it seems fine. I predominately track basal body temperature and cervical fluid daily as part of the Fertility Awareness Method, so I’d prefer if those fields were closer to the top to minimize scrolling. The main reason for the mediocre score is the apps use of negative language around menstruation. In one section the app literally says “Nobody likes being on their period...” That’s no true! Some of us have had to work long and hard to get periods and are grateful when it comes, as it’s a sign of a happy health body. Also, the app recommends hormonal birth control to treat irregular periods. Eek! Hormonal birth control just masks the underlying causes of an irregular period. I direct app content developers to Lara Briden’s The Period Repair manual. More and more evidence is showing the detrimental effects of ongoing use of hormonal birth control for some women, especially those with conditions like PCOS. I like what the app is working towards, but it still represents some pretty unhealthy misconceptions around menstruation and women’s health. Please review and update your content. I’d love to give you 5 stars.

Love the Ovia suite of apps!. I have used all three of the Ovia apps for my cycle tracking, pregnancy, and postpartum and newborn care, and they are just awesome. If there is one thing I would change, it would be to add a sharing feature to both the Fertility and Pregnancy apps like the one available in the Parenting app. As of right now, my husband has to track my cycle separately or else it falls on me to communicate information to him, which doesn’t always happen in a timely fashion. If we could share the info through the application, they would all be 5-star applications. I love all the articles and helpful information provided when I need it, sometimes before I know I need to know it! I also love how they all three feed information to each other when they’re installed in your phone. It would take a lot for me to decide to use a different application for any of these purposes. Thank you, Ovia!

Love This App the Most. I took a few months off from tracking and came back to test all the period trackers again. Almost settled on one of the other top 3, but in the end the search option for symptoms and moods won me over to Ovia. I would love the ability to add my own moods or at least have motivated/unmotivated, focused/distracted and energy low/high listings to track how my mind changes during my cycle (I potentially have ADHD which is affected by hormones). These are much easier for my mind to remember and comprehend when looking at data than other words. Also I would love to have some more leg pain options because my pain tends to be shooting down my right or left leg and the best option is a little different meaning than what I want.

Good app for tracking. Very thorough app for tracking and overall have found it useful.. but have some ideas for improvement. I hate that i enter things in my log and all the sudden have “you reported Cramping and bloating today” on my news feed. That’s not helpful—i know i did bc i am experiencing it and i reported it. What’s helpful on the news feed are the articles. 2. i searched and searched the app for info on tracking cervical position and didn’t find an article. If that’s suggested tracking i think a how to article should be readily available. 3. Caffeine and alcohol servings—I wish I could indicate in decimals. Not so much alcohol but caffeine I’m trying to wean off so it’d be nice to see if I’m having certain symptoms as a result of withdrawal but having to indicate “one” whether it’s a 130 mg cup of coffee or 40 mg tea isn’t helpful.

Most comprehensive but update cervical fluid options please!. This is by far the most comprehensive cycle tracker out there and is especially great for all types of women, including those who are not only trying to conceive, but also those who are trying to avoid pregnancy naturally and those who are having irregular cycles and want to gather data to help them and their doctor figure out what’s going on. Not only does it provide a comprehensive data collection platform, but it also offers amazing information on a daily basis that helps you better understand your body and how environmental variables affect your cycle and hormones. That said, after 4 months of using it, the only thing I wish they’d change is the options for logging cervical mucus. I regularly have creamy, lotion like CM as do many other women I know, and that’s not an option for some reason. Please fix this, Ovia! You gotta include all possible types of mucus, and many women have something between the glue and watery version that’s like a lotion consistency. The other thing that would be nice is if Ovia would sync with my Apple activity app so I don’t have to physically enter any of this information into the app. I use my Apple Watch religiously for fitness logging and would love to have Ovia receive info from my Apple health/activity apps instead of just the other way around

I never write reviews but I had to for this!. I looked thru what seemed like HUNDREDS of different apps, not one of them offered ovulation tracking for free, there was always a catch of some sort. Then I fell upon Ovia, and it literally tells me EVERYTHING I could ever need to know ENTIRELY free, like there isn’t even an option to pay for anything anywhere. I came off the Merina IUD after 10 years and have been using this to help track my cycles since I have endometriosis and help get pregnant faster. so far I can’t believe how much I’ve learned about my body! It’s really made this roller coaster experience a lot easier for me! I can’t thank the developers of this app enough for everything good this is bringing into my life. Not to mention you don’t need an account and your data is actually safe! Don’t even bother with any other app out there, THIS is the best!

The BEST ovulation tracking/fertility app!!!. I’ve tried maybe 5 different fertility/ovulation tracking apps and for awhile compared them to see how they differ as far as being accurate. This app has just about been dead on for when I should be in my “fertile days” as well as when I should be on my period. I like that it gives a scale for how fertile I am vs just hilighting the box and leaving me speculating. It’s very informative. Hands down best app for if you’re trying to get pregnant or just keep track of your cycle. I deleted all other similar apps & only use this one. Another thing I like is the entire interface. It doesn’t look like a children’s game with the cheesy layout and icons. It has so many options for things like what’s your mood, medications you may be on, etc.. Recommend to any gals looking for a cycle/ovulation tracker 😊😊

Overall great. If you’re looking for a way to track your periods, and everything else involved in Trying To Conceive (TTC), just download this app now and start using it! I do feel as though sometimes it’s slightly off in its predictions for my period, etc., which would then make its predictions for my fertility window off. There are also some simple updates that would make this an even better app, like on the home page where it gives random Information about fertility and cycles: it would be awesome if I could click those little boxes & have it take me to a related article or something to learn more about what it says. Also in the community Q&A section, it would be nice if it said when the question was posted and how many people have responded. This would give us a better idea of the percentages that it reports for the responses.

Great for getting those positives, doesn’t handle losses well. I started using the Ovia Fertility app initially to track my periods and get a sense of my cycle before my husband and I were ready to TTC (I had a copper IUD so I wanted to be able to track the changes once it was removed). As a period tracker and as a fertility tracker once we were TTC it was super useful for the most part. I agree with other reviewers that I would some way (other than me writing it in as note) to mark when I’m late for an expected period instead of the app just resetting the cycle count. Overall I’m happy with the app when I’m TTC and I loved the sister pregnancy app. Unfortunately, I’ve had two miscarriages and neither app does a good job in handling those. With my first one, I ended up having to mark it as a “period” to track the bleeding and stop the app from telling me to take a pregnancy test. After we got the second positive test, I found out the pregnancy app hadn’t updated itself from the first loss. It was an emotional sucker punch to log in and be told that I was only a couple of weeks away from my original due date. With this second loss, and again despite informing the apps of the miscarriage, nothing has changed in my fertility app. I don’t want to mark it as a period but the app now has me on some crazy cycle day. I don’t want to reset everything and lose all the data but it needs to have a system in place to track these without creating huge outlier cycles...

Great app.. I have used Ovia for a bit over and month. My husband and I just started TTC. This app has helped me keep things straight. I have always had irregular periods and thus have been on birth control pills for regularity since I was 16. For the last 1 1/2 years I’ve had an IUD. Not living on birth control is very new for me. This app has helped me keep up with what day of the cycle I’m on. I truly believe that without this app right now I’d be going crazy. With that said the only thing I would change about this app is the basal metabolic temperature. I wish it had a point in it. My body temperature is normally a 97.6 so I have to round up. Today I actually deviated from that to 98.4. I want the app to be able to tell me if that is a significant enough change for any indications but I felt that I had to log it to the nearest whole number so I logged 98 as I normally do. Otherwise, I have been very impressed with this app and will continue to refer others to it as well.

Love the App with a small exception. After years of trying different apps, this is my favorite so far. It‘s easy to use, easy to keep a good overview, has a great charts to make it even easier to read and understand what‘s happening during your cycle. Great to use for both - getting pregnant but also not getting pregnant in a way so that I feel supported no matter what the intention is behind using it. One thing I wish it would have though is an additional option when tracking cervical fluids. It‘s not either egg white or school glue. There definitely should be a ‚creamy‘ option inbetween as well, otherwise it‘s really hard to track especially as it‘s such an important part of the cycle and a key indicator for many women. I hope this is a planned future update - this simple addition would drastically improve the entire app for me!

I love it. But.. I love it best. More than any other. But. When I am typing in symptoms, praying I’m not pregnant/worried I might be... it’s nerving for them to be spewing out “perfect window to get pregnant, if you have these symptoms you might be pregnant, you are super fertile right now” etc. It gives me anxiety. I wish there was an option that was “Trying to Avoid Pregnancy” along with “Trying to conceive” and “Tracking my period.” Because even if I just click “Tracking my period” I get a lot of trying to conceive advice that I do not want. However I still give 5 stars because I’ve tried other apps and they just don’t do justice. I’ve been using Ovia for 5 years or more. And it’s always right on track, literally to the day on when my period starts. I love it.

I don’t want to be told about pregnancy when I just want to track my periods. I honestly got this app to track my period and to predict future time of the months. I like that I can also input sleep and exercise habits. But I did not anticipate the amount of times it’s telling me to get a pregnancy test. I like to track my moods and when I selected being happy they told me I must be happy to take a pregnancy test or something along the lines. I was happy because of something that happened at school not because I’m trying to have a family. I selected “track my periods” option not the trying to conceive option. I feel like unless they physically put that they’re trying to conceive don’t tell them about pregnancy tips, or to be excited about getting pregnant. Some of us are at a stage of our life where we just need to know when our period is coming or not. That’s it. So more tips on just being on a period would help since I selected tracking my period instead of trying to conceive.

Need An Option for Miscarriage. I’ve been using this app for a long time. I have information plugged into it since Feb 2017, making next month 3 years that I’ve been using it. And it’s served its purpose well. In that time I’ve gotten pregnant 3 times, though two ended in miscarriage. It works well and is easy to navigate. The issue that I have is that it seems to take an average of the past 3 months to calculate what your upcoming cycle will be and when you will ovulate. Makes sense...until you have a miscarriage. Even an early loss like mine has thrown off all my data. While my past 2 cycles have been 34 and 38 days in length, the app is projecting that I won’t ovulate for another 40+ days and my next period isn’t expected for almost 60! This is because the cycle before that, I was pregnant and lost the baby early. There should be an option to insert a miscarriage in a certain month so that the calculations use the previous months numbers for a more accurate projection.

Great for tracking, but there’s a few details.... I love Ovia and have been using it for about 6 months. However, there is one detail that I just really don’t like. It’s gives calendar projections for your next fertile window as well as your next period. That’s great and all, but when I wake up on the first projected day of my period, I open the app to track my temperature and the VERY first thing I see is, “You’re on your period.” That is heavily discouraging, especially when TTC... and since it’s just a projection, I find it unnecessary. It would be awesome if it could be changed to simply predict your period, but not actually *say* you’re on your period until you manually enter that it’s started. This is just a preference based on emotion, so that’s why I still give the app a high rating. I realize it might sound silly, so I’m sorry for being picky!! But this app comes highly recommended from me!

COMMUNITY TAB NEEDS WORK. Love this app.. I love this app. The calendar section is so helpful. The layout is aesthetic to the eye, which I appreciate. I love that it gives you little tips and things. But the COMMUNITY TAB is bad. I don’t mind that it’s anonymous posting and it gives you a cute little emoticon, but other than that it needs to be like other social media apps. You should have to vote on a poll to see comments or be able to comment. People should be allowed to ask questions freely. The comments need a “like” feature if you agree with someone else’s comment. And there needs to be a longer word count limit. Most people don’t even use the community tab with its intended purpose of the “polls”. I really hope they take this into consideration and update this section of the app. It would also be nice to be able to upload picture of OPKs in your daily summary, so you can compare throughout your cycle. Other than that I truly love this app.

Useless. I’ve been using this app for 6 months. I find it more frustrating than helpful. I had a miscarriage in Jan and as I’ve read with several other users it doesn’t let you indicate or log it. Once you enter it the data displays as if it were a normal period which is unfortunate especially because I waited 6 weeks after the miscarriage to have another period so now it just appears that I have longer cycles. Also every symptom you enter after your period the tidbits section says “this could be a PMS symptom or pregnancy keep entering” so confusing particularly when you’re looking guidance which is why I would think most women use the app. Finally I agree with multiple other reviewers-why ask questions like “what birth order is your mother, or do you have a PCP” and the most frustrating after a miscarriage was the daily emails “are you on your period” obviously seeing that daily was a constant reminder and extremely difficult to see. This hasn’t helped me figure out my fertility which is why I downloaded it to being with. It simply allows you to enter in various information including when you ovulated which again in was hoping the app would indicate.

Love this app!. I would have to say this is a excellent app to have. If you are trying to convince this is the app you’re going to need. It tells you everything you need to know from beginning to end. If your not sure when your ovulating this app can help you and it will stay on track with your cycle. There are articles you can read in the app that can help you along your journey and help pass the time. You can talk to other members using this app and share ideas with each other. There is so much more I’m probably leaving out about this app. But if you’re struggling and are looking to expand your family this is the app to use. If I could rate this app a higher number I would give it 10 stars 🌟. I convinced my daughter using this app. Thank you for creating this app and helping build families.

Make Room for Human Error!. My husband and I started trying to get pregnant a year ago. This app is great for tracking your periods and intercourses, especially if you are aware of your body. I began noticing trends during certain phases that stopped when my menses began (painful breasts and nipples! Ouch!). That was how I realized that my September cycle was off, and despite my period being only a week before, I knew I had ovulated. I hit the little button to change the day of ovulation and that also helped me realize that I’d been marking breast pain for a couple weeks and my period hadn’t come for a whole month. I took a pregnancy test, and lo and behold, I’m pregnant! This app is “perfect”, which can make it difficult and/or frustrating when you are experiencing atypical cycles or not ovulating at all, but it means you have data to give your doctor and hopefully you can find a way to get back on track.

Overall great but... Overall I love Ovia. It’s a great app, simple to use as long as you’re logging all of your info. I’ve even suggested it to friends that are TTC and they are all pregnant with help from tracking with Ovia!! Here’s where I think thing could be different and helpful: Can we get an update that helps with reading these ovulation tests!? Maybe an option to take a photo in the app and it reads the test for you and is more accurate on the ovulation window. A friend suggested the app “Premom” but my love for the Ovia app is making hard to switch but the photo feature is tempting for sure. Would love to see it in the Ovia app!!! Make the fertility chart easily available on the bottom maybe by the calendar button. It is such a helpful visual when tracking multiple symptoms of ovulation. Be inclusive on how people are conceiving. The buttons of “unprotected, protected, pulled out” under “kiss and tell” specifically. I’m in an LGBT relationship so we’re not having unprotected sex to get pregnant, but there’s no other options that are LGBT friendly so I have to go with the “unprotected “ button. Again, overall love the app. It helped on tracking to conceive our first baby and now we’re TTC the next!!!

I love this app. Updated review: The developer reached out and their suggestion fixed my issue. I appreciate it when there is support for bugs like the one I was having, and the team makes an effort to help their users. I’m glad to know that if I get a new phone or have to uninstall the app to fix a problem in the future that my data is saved on their servers...not knowing that was the only reason I hadn’t tried uninstalling/reinstalling already (nobody wants to lose all their data). This app really is wonderful, and I’m glad I can use it again! Old review (crashing issue): I loved this app...when it worked. It now crashes nearly every time I attempt to open it. It’s really frustrating to have everything I’ve logged trapped in an app I can no longer use. I would happily give it 5 stars if I could open it consistently because I felt like it was one of the most comprehensive fertility apps I’ve used, and I’ve tried several over the years. Please fix this issue, so I can at least access my data. I’d love to use this app again if it starts working!

Tracking Cycle. This is an amazing app if you are trying to get pregnant. If you’re not in a relationship and you’re using it to track your cycle or you’re just dating someone it’s always asking for your spouses information and there is no place to put not in a relationship. every day there is a place for ...did you have sex today. I would think after I’ve been saying no for over a year that maybe it would stop asking or maybe ask are you even in a relationship😬. With saying all this I really should give it a five star because it is as advertised I’m just trying to use it to track my cycle so maybe if they offered a track one and a track 2. They give a lot of useful information and I always tell my patients who are trying to get pregnant to go and use this app + read the information

CM tracking is limited. I check my cm and find the selection on this app most limiting. It’s not just watery or just egg whites or just glue or just dry. Sometimes it’s a creamy and slippery mix which indicates to me that’s it’s getting ready..I want there to be a creamy option and the option to mix the options in any combination.. I track my cm on a different app, Kindara is best at tracking cm, it’s perfect for tracking it. I don’t temp because I’m unpredictable in the mornings so cm works best for me. I am pretty sure your supposed to take your temp in the morning but that doesn’t work when i’m up and running before I realized I was awake yet or I’m tossing and turning for an hour before waking or I come straight out of coma... I love this app because it has everything you could possibly be feeling and it comments on your tracking, if I say something like, “I have a head ache” the app might say something along the lines of “headaches may be an indicator that your dehydrated or hungry” - which totally helps me toss out some things I’m taking as being a pregnancy symptom. It calms me...

Perfect for Data Nerds!. I’ve been searching for a tracking app that has all the complexities of my cycle. Having struggled with infertility and a connective tissue disorder, this app helps me see patterns in my cycle I never thought would be impacting my functioning. Now having had a child and hoping for more while maintaining my health, this app is going to help me move forward toward that goal. I do wish, however, it would possible to choose more than one “symptom” option at a time when looking at the lists. Also, I would love more detailed reports of the data entered (e.g. pulling up one specific symptom and seeing the trend, seeing the over-arching trends of the most common physical symptoms, linear graph of menstruation cycle, etc) as well as the ability to import data from other apps. Having it accessible by Apple Watch would also be most convenient.

Not just for pregnancy. I’m not using your app to get pregnant, I’m using it to try NOT to get pregnant. I have 2 children under the age of 3, and they were born 13 months apart. Every birth control (including IUD) did not work well with my body. I believe that the recent removal and short term use of the device and also trying traditional BC for a few months have influenced my cycle, but I’m not sure how much still. If the app included a segment that asks specifically about birth control and it’s many options, including devices and their removals, it would help me to better track my data and may even influence my fertile window. I believe that data from when I was using BC is now throwing off the months from when I haven’t been on BC. I know you have a section for medications, but a section specifically regarding birth control would be extremely helpful for the ladies using your app to try and prevent pregnancy. Other than that, I like the recent updates of color changes to the calendars. Very helpful.

Love this app!. I used this app when we were trying to get pregnant a couple years ago with our son, and now I’m issuing it again as we try for our second. I only used this app the first time and this time around I tried several different options but kept coming back to Ovia. I think the way things are laid out makes the most sense and is easier to navigate than any other apps I’ve tried. I have also noticed that it lets you track more things than other apps, like more symptoms, moods, exercise, foods, etc. I love how extensive the tracking is, how accurate the period/ovulation predictions are, and the cool little encouragements that pop up on your feed. Can’t say more good things about this app! (I also loved the Ovia pregnancy app. Can’t wait to use it again!)

It’s okay.... The reason I gave this app 3:5 stars is because you can change the app settings as “trying to conceive or not trying to conceive” that’s great but if you put “not trying to conceive” it still gives you tips on how to get pregnant! Give me tips on how NOT to get knocked up based on. Next reason is also in the settings you can report that you’re pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Well I got pregnant and the app remembered this for MOST of the pregnancy, by the time I had my daughter the app “forgot”. Post pregnancy and still to this day post 5 months I breastfeed, this setting change makes no difference in how Ovia conducts itself. There’s no mensuration while breastfeeding facts. If I’m 5 months post pregnancy, not trying to conceive, and breastfeeding the app should reflect this to a T. I love Ovia but I’m disappointed in the fact it only supports people who are trying to conceive. If Ovia changes these things it will be a 5 star app.

Very Helpful. I mostly used this just to track periods/ovulation and didn’t use many other resources within. However there are a ton of articles and a community chat where you can ask questions or just talk to others who are going through the same thing. I did conceive my first baby while using this app, it helped keep track of everything. I’m using it now to help track my second. It’s helpful with guessing when you may be ovulating but I recommend tracking periods for at least 2 months so the app can have more information for guessing the peak days. The app will adjust the ovulation window based on your inputs, the more info you add in, the more accurate. Hope this helps! Good luck Mommas!

Infertility. Love this app. I think it’s great for the average person. I decided to only give it 4 starts for one reason (if you don’t deal with infertility 100% this app is amazing), I deal with infertility. Ovia has 3 apps, this one, pregnancy, and parenting. I would encourage either an update to this app for infertility items or have an ovia infertility app. It would be great to have a better way to plan my IVF things (instead of just a calendar showing when you should start, have the ability to “build” a calendar to reflect date of IVF, predicted due date based on age of embryo- 3day vs 5day etc- and have a way of putting in appointments and reminders for the ultrasounds and blood work.) I know this is something very specific and if you don’t deal with infertility this app really is great, it would just be nice to have something infertility specific that is as easy to use as this app is- like instead of marking when you had sex you have the ability to pick FET date and embryo age etc. hopefully this review just gives them more ideas in how to expand for all types of TTC.

ALL THE STARS FOR OVIA!🤩💗. I recently downloaded A TON of period trackers to find the best and personally OVIA was my favorite by far! Here’s why: #1 the themes are pretty and fun to look at and the overall app is nice, organized, and pleasing to the eyes. #2 I love, love, love the fact that there is community on this app and you get to talk with other women and bring up questions, concerns, or encouragements! I respect the level of privacy however! (OVIA doesn’t let you see the profile of the person posting instead it gives animal names to everybody and your name changes every post.) #3 I am not trying to get pregnant but if I was I would choose OVIA! The cycle description is very informative and easy to read and they help you find the signs of ovulation and fertility. I haven’t had the app for long so I can’t speak for the accuracy but mine has been good so far! #4 there are so many cute things like informative posts, recipes, and feedback that make the overall experience so cute and awesome! Thanks so much OVIA!💗

Great! If it opens…. After using a simple period tracker for years I wanted to see better patterns and do more than just mark my cycle. I like the medical information and the community, the moods, and all the stuff you can track. The newest update offers nice customization for the information screen. I do wish that some of the “comments” after you update varied a bit more, and didn’t always revolve around being pregnant. Not every little mood or ailment means you’re pregnant, sometimes it’s just the day. ** It would be nice to have multiple moods a day —cause we are women after all! Also if I add a remark to an update, I’d like to see it instead of it just highlighting the speech bubble. My major issue is when I go to open the app it doesn’t stay “open”. It goes to the background and doesn’t actually load. I’ve tapped the icon multiple times and it keeps disappearing. I tried opening it through different avenues and it does the same thing. I’ve removed it and redownloaded it and it does the same thing. I don’t want to stop using the app but when it doesn’t open I can’t update my info for the day.

It’s fine but I have concerns. The app is fine at tracking cycles and keeping data, I do have some concerns. The first is that if you’re NOT trying to conceive and are simply trying to track your cycle the app with encourage you to get pregnant anyway. It literally says “you’re in your fertile window, go have sex” pretty often even though I have my settings set to just cycle tracking. It’s not a huge problem but it’s annoying. I’m cycle tracking to avoid getting pregnant, not to convince. The other thing is that there’s a community chat/ question answer function which really should be a good thing, but I got banned from it for reporting inappropriate questions. Questions about the best sexual positions in 3somes and things like that. Why have the report option if they really don’t want you to use it? I thought the community chat would have been focused more on questions about late periods or the safety of using certain medications while trying to conceive, it seems like questions about explicit sexual activities aren’t appropriate- but maybe I’m just a stick in the mud.

Clean and Helpful Fertility Tracker. I really like this tracker because the design is clean and simple, it’s intuitive to use, and because of the different settings for period tracking vs TTC. Most of the time I just use it to help me remember when my period is coming, but you can switch to “trying to conceive” mode and it will give you insights about when you’ll have the best odds of getting pregnant and it does a great job of turning symptoms into useable information about your cycle. I also really like the positive environment they’ve created. I’ve tried other apps where all the extra articles or even “health insights” are about abortion or cosmo-type sex tips instead of actually talking about your health and your body. Ovia is a lot more informative about what your body needs at different points in your cycle, what different symptoms might mean, and how to take care of yourself (and potentially your baby depending on what side of the app you’re using.) I have been using Ovia for over 2 years and I don’t think I’m ever going to switch 🙂

Amazing App. I got this app as a period tracker originally. About 6 months ago, I noticed an abnormality with my period so I went in and saw my OBGYN. It turned out to be nothing but I was so happy that I had tracked my period and was able to notice a difference before anything major happened. That mini scare prompted my husband and I to change our minds and start trying. I look forward to logging all my information. I’ve learned so much about my period and conceiving with this app. It is among my most used. I LOVE this app. Can’t give it enough high praise. I love that I can plan vacations around when my projected period will be, we’ve been able to really plan out when we would start trying because you can see the fertile window, based on your period for the month. I love it.

Two suggestions... but absolutely love!. Love this app. Think it’s excellent! Two things: 1. Under the “Kiss and tell” category, I wish there were three hearts, the two that are there (or you could get rid of the not today), and one heart that symbolizes sex with a condom or protection. My husband and I are avoiding pregnancy right now, but we mutually hate using condoms, so we only use them during the fertile zone. I’d love to be able to look at my fertility chart and see the red hearts where we had sex without protection, and also see another color heart where we did not use protection. This would help in tracking and avoiding unplanned pregnancy. It would great if when you press the red heart (the one that indicates sex) if a subcategory came up to ask if you pulled out or not. This app is about tracking and for me, the details are important. I put that in my notes in the bottom, but that’s too hard to see from the calendar. 2. I’m still exclusively pumping, and ovulation and menstruation greatly affect my milk production. I know exclusively pumping moms are a minority but I’d love to see tracking for pumping. Just a category labeled Pumping with subcategories like “letdown time” and “milk produced in ounces”. If the milk production in ounces had a line on the fertility chart I could see how ovulation and menstruation really affect my output. Anyway, fantastic app! I love it, even without my suggestions.

Love Ovia. I’m not one to rate an app but I really love this one! I downloaded the app in preparation of getting pregnant, but it offers so much more than that. Whether you’re tracking periods, moods, food, ovulation etc. It’s like a diary for ALL things related to your body and esp your lady parts. It’s important information to have, but many of us rarely keep track; because well, there’s life and who has time to keep up with when your last bowel movement was? Ovia makes it super simple. It is so easy to navigate and allows you to easily see the information you’ve input at a glance. You can even customize it by changing colors and backgrounds. I mean they thought of everything. I love the articles and recipes they share. The app promotes healthy lifestyle and provides articles related to those burning questions you have during different stages of your life. I tried a few other apps and this one if by far the best. Thanks Ovia. You had to have been created by a woman!

It's a great app...Until you miscarry. I loved this app when my husband and I first started TTC. But after three miscarriages it's not really working the way I wish it would. There is no option to mark a miscarriage besides reporting the loss and resetting the app. Which is fine unless you plan to keep tracking. I took a couple months off after my first (mostly bc it took 7 weeks to get my period), but it's always a pain to start tracking again in the app after a loss. This past time I didn't track my loss as a "period" and now I'm on a crazy cycle day number. I know it probably can't accurately "predict" after miscarriage, but I really miss the little insights and I wish it would just mark the first day of your miscarriage as cycle day 1 or something. Maybe I'm being extra picky and/or sensitive, but with the staggering statistic of 1/4 couples experiencing loss I think it's something to be noted. OVERALL I love the app interface - it's easy to track, use, update...Just wish losses were handled differently.

None better than Ovia!. I found Ovia Pregnancy during my pregnancy and became addicted immediately. My hubby and I always looked forward to the weekly handprint and the object of the week in comparison to baby’s size. It made understanding pregnancy for a first time mom, like myself, so much more enjoyable let alone informative. My baby is now 8 months old and I currently use the Ovia Parenting app which also exceeds my expectations! It’s so fun to read the articles and see where my baby is at in terms of progress compared to other babies her age. The Ovia Chat is FANTASTIC ON BOTH APPS! It is great to have support and advice from other moms going through the same thing that I am. I also just downloaded the Ovia Fertility App a couple weeks ago as we are going to start TTC our second bundle of joy 😍😊 I would give all 3 of these apps a 6/5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yes..6!! Thank you 🙏🏻 to the developers of Ovia, you guys get it!

Great app, but needs some more infertility options. I really like the Ovia app. It’s been extremely helpful during our two years of TTC. I like having all the data in one place, being able to go back months to check if something has happened before on that point in my cycle. The one place I think Ovia needs some work is on infertility. I did notice some changes about a year ago that added a bit more functionality for tracking fertility issues, but I think some more options in the actual data tracking would be helpful. For example, being able to record IUI dates, IVF dates (egg retrieval/transfer, etc.) instead of just “I had sex!” I also think the medications could be easier to record. Instead of having to search through the list every time, it would be great if I could set recurring meds and have them sticky at the top of the list, or something.

Conceived in 2 months at age 39 with Ovia!. This app is AMAZING. I downloaded the app in December and was pregnant by February, and just gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy! I’m 39 and I was concerned about how challenging it would be to get pregnant at this age. I downloaded Ovia, and tracking my periods and ovulation was so easy and almost fool proof that the app knew I was pregnant before I did! Who knew it would only take two months to conceive?! I love the fact that the fertility app immediately transfers all of your data over to the pregnancy app, and I love that the pregnancy app immediately transfers you to the parenting app once your baby arrives. It’s incredible to have such an amazing resource every step of the way, (the pregnancy app gave me spot on updates each and every day) and it made doctors visits so much easier having all of my info in one place. I can’t believe this app is free!!!!

So Close. I really like this app for the most part. It’s much more customizable than any other period tracker that I’ve tried, especially for moods/more esoteric symptoms. I appreciate the lack of The only additional feature that I wish it had is to be able to track RHR within the app, as it fluctuates with hormonal levels in some really interesting ways. My only gripe, which isn’t insignificant, is how much it feels like it’s pushing pregnancy as a goal that all users have. For those with periods who are either avoiding or feel ambivalent about becoming pregnant but otherwise want a fully featured period tracker, the constant emphasis on fertility as a goal is frustrating. I don’t want tips on how to get pregnant. I don’t want my app to tell me that I shouldn’t consider sexy times a job but should totally schedule them with my partner. Maybe just be able to turn off hints? Features are totally worthy of a 5/5 rating, but until I can tell the app that I don’t wish to be pregnant and have it not give me helpful hints about the mechanics of baby making, I have to deduct a star.

Great, but I have some suggestions. The app is awesome... For adults. For a teen getting their period for the first time, not so much. I am 12 and I just got my period for the first time, and when I got into the app, I had to say I was at least 13 to get in. I put that I was 13 and it let me in, but the chat was just adults! I, a twelve year old girl who just got her period, was talking about it with random woman online. The most annoying thing was me getting questions about when to conceive, and what to do when you are pregnant. This is not appropriate. To fix it, maybe add a chat for tweens and teens, separate from adults. On top of that, I was asked if I had sex! Innapropriate, very. I also got fertility information, which is unnecessary. Maybe make a teen mode or something, and then it would be perfect!

The Best Out There. I switched to Ovia after my previous phone had to be restored. And ever since then I have loved Ovia. Overall I think it’s the neatest and easiest way to track anything your body is going through. My only complaint is that when it predicts the day your period is supposed to start and your period doesn’t come, I nit that it didn’t start that specific day and the day predicted for it to start changes right away to the next day. I wish the predictions would still show on the calendar while actually pinning down the days that it actually started along with the days that it was supposed to based on your previous trends. Besides that, I would highly recommend it! All the features such as adding in your symptoms, how you’ve been feeling, and the question/answer section is absolutely helpful when you are wanting to know about something! Asking users who also use Ovia and most likely have gone through what you’re going through has helped me answer questions about whether what I was going through was normal or something I should be worried about. And I also love the fact that when you conceive the app switches over to one that you can use while pregnant and after while knowing and keeping track of your past activities. I would choose Ovia if you’re needing an app like it!

My go-to tracking app. I’ve used countless apps to track and this is the one that can’t be beat! I look forward to receiving my email report for the day, filled with fun facts about what’s happening inside my body that day and how that night effect my mood. Most other apps I’ve used only offer a calendar, this one has so much more. I’ve recommended this to family and friends and they’ve even started telling other women about it. BONUS- NO ADS!

Not very accurate. After putting all my data it it puts my ovulation window off by several days. We’re as other app am on all line up the same. Questions get repetitive in comment section. Need a section where people can look up old question save on repeating it again and again. Too many people trying advertise there business too. It not for that at all

Love this app!. Really enjoy the tidbits that come up when I enter data, it encourages you to keep entering new data to see what new info will come up! It’s a very useful app, I highly recommend it to anyone trying to become pregnant

Love this app. I have tried other apps but this one is the best. I love how it’s so simple to use and how it gives u lots of information on a women’s cycle... my period is nearly always in sync with this calendar if not a few days after but hits the mark most the time. I love the notes section also. I can’t fault this app what so ever

Great app!. A great app for recording ur data, mood&everything else. I like the notes section where i can add in details such as days Ive had the flu. like the medications section added i use it when i go to the doctors. would give higher rating but there are still few issues need fixing with app orherwise great.

Everything you need. This Ovia app was amazing and really helped me to keep track of everything! Once I fell pregnant it instantly advised me about the pregnancy app which I am currently using and it’s just as good. So much helpful information in the one place. Highly recommend. No silly pop up ads etc. I noticed there is another app for after you have given birth and I will be using that one too!

Very informative and has been accurate. The app is great. It’s always worked and kept up to date. I like the information they have on it. Look all in all, I enjoy the app so no issues for me. :) xx

Data not coming up on calendar screen. Data isn’t coming up on calendar screen even though entered in said day. Please fix as soon as possible!

Kind of scary (in a bad way). A fairly good app, but once I was pregnant it continued to predict when my period was about to start - I was a day late when I tested positive and clicked “report pregnancy”. For the rest of that week it was telling me my period had started or was about to start - terrifying for a new pregnancy!! Thankfully, it didn’t happen in real life. Also annoying, the fact that you have to de-select your period manually every day you’re late or it will just assume and fill it in for you. It never used to do that when I was TTC years ago. Weird.

Love love like. I do love the app and the community but what I am loving most is the information I was getting on what my symptoms could mean and then towards the end of my cycle they stopped giving any idea of what they could mean and was just saying I reported it

Great for fertility tracking but... I have been using Ovia for almost 6mths now and loving many parts of it! It’s easy enter data especially for early AM BBT readings , it presents all the data so it’s easy to & it’s even a little predictive when learning your cycles! However..the whole app is VERY baby oriented! It gives you two options when setting up, “Tracking my period” and “Trying to conceive” but it’s almost like the app totally ignores your choice as everything is centred around baby making, TTC (trying to conceive) advice and symptoms being all early pregnancy signs. I don’t see the point in giving the user a choice but disregarding it. Personally I’m using the app for period tracking purposes only so it’s rather unnerving being told I’m in the midst of early pregnancy every cycle! Lol.

What would I do without it!. The insights the app provides for symptoms you're experiencing are incredible. Extremely user friendly, icons become a second language and the layout is exceptional. I recommend this app to literally all of my friends, even if just to track their period. Amazing!

Not the worst but not the best. I love Ovia and have used it for years with TTC. Recently I got a few other apps and it really showed me where Ovia is lacking. If ovia could mark your predicted ovulation day and also have a way to read OPKs it would be my top pick. But I’ve started using another app purely because it’s more accurate at finding your fertile window.

Conflicting Data After Miscarriage. I find the data gets all mixed up/confused if you miscarry and then start using it again when you get your period back. Otherwise it’s a great app as long as you don’t run into any issues with your cycle. It also doesn’t always update based on the data you enter Eg. Ovia predicted my period for two days ago but I don’t think it’s correct, based on Ovia I’m late for my period now by two days. Took a pregnancy test and it was negative and entered all the data: no period and negative test. It’s still saying “5 days till your fertile window” Why is it not updating? It’s confusing. I’d also love some more personalized messages/information based on the data I’ve entered.

Best app for fertility I have found. I really love this app. I am very irregular and it doesn’t ask for me to put down my cycle lengths like every single other tracking app. It’s allows me to track just about everything and gives me information on my medical conditions (pcos) also gives you lots of information. For someone just getting into tracking fertility/ovulation or even just your period it provides you with info you would normally think to ask. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect App but no longer available in Australia. I’ve used this app for 5 years, for two pregnancies. Today it’s being deleted because Australia no longer supports it. Devastated I’ll have to find another app. Tracked everything perfectly, the added notes were great to look back on as my memory is terrible. Please bring it back to Aust!

Please fix this. The app it good. However it doesn’t allow you to change/correct the information you put in initially if you stuff it up.. bit frustrating considering that’s what it of goes off the whole time.

Love this app. Absolutely love this app. Love the tracking, the fact it has pregnancy as well as everything but can there please be a version for the Apple Watch? Something so we can get notifications for periods and ovulation sent to the watch at least?

I love this tracker!!. This tracker is amazing for helping me predict my cycle and track my health physically and emotionally. One thing I don’t like is that there’s no way to see how my weight is tracking. I can input the data but there’s no chart for me to check. This might not seem important but I couldn’t get pregnant last time until I got back to a healthy weight and being able to track my progress would really help that. I don’t like the new update though. The calendar and information where we logged our data used to be colour coded and was easier to use and more pleasing to the eye. I don’t like the monochrome look and less distinction between sections

Yay !. I love this app I've trialled a few to find one that best suits me and since my ovulation isn't trackable through dates and only through testing it's great that you can adjust your ovulation and fertile days with Ovia. I can log everything from period data to pregnancy test results it's awesome !

Recent problems, pls fix!!. As you can see I have gave this app a whopping 5 stars as I love this app. It's excellent & pretty spot on. But recently, for the last week or 2 every time I click onto the app to log my data it's slow , won't load & then it crashes... it will do this at least 5 times before opening the app.

Love this app!. Been using this app for a couple of years now and log at least every day or two. Helps quite a lot when doctors ask me about my cycle or medications.

Please stop the crashing. User-friendly app containing all relevant information. Unfortunately with the latest updates it crashes every single time it's opened. Please fix the crashing.

Good app. It’s a good app. But there are a few things that need fixing. ie - telling me in on my period when I’m not and just marking it as I am itself. Some moods aren’t in the list and you cannot add them. Adding a medication but it doesn’t save it as frequent so I have to just re-add every day. Some exercises aren’t shown, so I choose other but you can only use other once so I’d you do it again it changes the first “other”

5⭐️. I recently started using Ovia to track my fertility and learn about tracking my cycle. It has blown me away how well it is organized. The articles are interesting, informative and relevant and the app asks for a great deal of information to best tailor the experience to each woman’s own cycle without it becoming overwhelming. 5 ⭐️

Nosy and intrusive. This app keeps asking way too many very personal questions, is really trying to get too much data on me and I find it super intrusive. Stuff like “do you have endometriosis” or asking about mental health conditions etc etc. I never give them any answers but I think the makers of this app should allow users to share what they want to share without bugging us. It just makes me feel suspicious and untrusting of the app, will probably delete it very soon and try another one.

Stay out of the community tab. Resonably good app for tracking cycle, but keep in mind it’s an algorithm and not an actual prediction of your fertile window so be guided by your own observations too. The most annoying thing about Ovia is the persistent prompt to take a pregnancy test several days before the cycle ends (ie when less accurate) and even if you log a negative test, the prompt remains. Ovia PLEASE fix this I’m trying to conceive and stay off the app as much as possible because I find after ovulation the app will give lots of “insights” attributing symptoms to possible pregnancy and it’s hard not to get hopes up and stay realistic Finally, if you’re looking for a supportive community function, look elsewhere. The community/forum section on this app is dangerous, appears to have little to no moderation, lots of misinformation, uneducated people with poor health literacy turning to each other for information that is just plain wrong. Additionally, I’ve seen so many rude comments bordering on bullying that it’s a real concern. Just stay of there! I am seeking an alternative platform but the hassle of migrating months of data is holding me back

Love this app. I love this app. It is so easy to use and follow. The layout makes keeping track of your cycle and things going on with your body easy to see and understand. I recommend this app to all ladies that want to keep track of there cycles or ladies who are TTC. Well done Ovia.

Fell pregnant!. I’m certain using this app to track my cycles helped me to fall pregnant in my first month of trying during my fertile period. Was easy to see exactly when to try and it worked. Went on to use the sister app for pregnancy too.

Great way to track everything. I have used this app for the last 9 months and have recommended to friends. It gives you plenty of great info and predicts your fertile window based on the data you put in. Don't rely on the fertile score as it should be 0 after you ovulate but everything else was very helpful.

Decent app. Easy to enter data, pretty simple to use. Seems to want to gather LOADS of data, including that which is not relevant (I’m referring to the Q’s that pop up, not enteries in the calendar), for instance how often one eats at a restaurant seemed an odd piece of data.. Don’t like they way it says “Rate Ovia Five Stars” rather than just rate Ovia. No option to add a miscarriage/ectopic/pregnancy loss either. I think that would be useful.

Highly Recommended. It has everything you need, quite accurate, easy to use and No advertisements

Excellent if you want to get pregnant. I started using Ovia a month ago when I had the implanon removed. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both are positive. This app is excellent for tracking your fertility and if you want to try and have a baby!

A couple of questions. It’s a great app but I wonder a few things: - when the app should know I’ve been TTC for a year now, when I get a BFN why does it says the equivalent of “don’t worry, it takes the average couple six months to fall pregnant”? This is a pretty upsetting thing to read. - why does the cycle trends page only show the last two cycles? - if the cycle trends knows that my average cycle length is ~32 days and I’m on CD1 now, why is my next period expected in 36 days? - if my ovulation falls on day 19 on average why is this cycle predicting it on day 24? Surely the baseline for the timing predictions should be the average of all other data entered and then it can move it around as you update data through your cycle? - when I’ve taken a pregnancy test on a particular day the app recommends and it’s negative the app still says “you should take a pregnancy test today!” - it should actually change to say ‘tomorrow’ or ‘in two days’ (or whatever you recommend) if it’s past when my period is due.

Feedback. It’s not a review, it’s a feedback. Ovia team you probably need to check you algorithm it’s not working correctly. One of the more important data value that it should be polling/ or should have an scheduled event written on, to update fertility window is ‘ovulation test results’, if a person report a high fertility day after a continuous low results submitted for last 5 days, it’s a clear indication that the fertility window for that person has shifted. I do not know what is the backend programming language you are using and what are your design principles but can clearly say based on the result that the logic needs to be corrected for better customer satisfaction as right now one of your end user is feeling frustrated.

Much better than Flo. This app is a breath of fresh air compared to Flo, which I previously used for years. Free articles, tips and insights, and a premium subscription isn’t shoved down your throat. Keep it up!

Best friend in your pocket. TTC can be hard and draining but Ovia makes taking the important details and tracking super simple. The format is easy to read and use and fully customisable. I love the tips along the way and messages of encouragement with my data. Still waiting for that miracle but I feel ever the more confident with Ovia.

I became pregnant first go using Ovia Fertility !!. I can not recommend Ovia Fertility enough! After downloading the app & tracking my cycle for 2 months (my cycle has been very regular for the past 5 years since taking myself off the contraceptive pill), my partner & I decided to try & conceive in my third month of using the app when Ovia predicted I was ovulating. We followed the days exactly! 2 weeks after we had conceived I felt different & in that moment I thought this is it, I am pregnant. We took an early pregnancy test & sure enough I was! We were beyond ecstatic!! We were so surprised it had happened on our first go of really trying to conceive. Being a young woman who is 34 I thought it might have taken some time, so we feel very blessed & so very grateful as I know it can take some time for others. I can not recommend this app enough, it definitely helped us to conceive & I am now using the Ovia Pregnancy app, which has been great it helping me track my pregnancy & the progress of my growing baby. Xx

Great but could improve in one aspect. This app is great and very thorough, however I am under going fertility treatment and it keeps asking me if I’ve been diagnosed with fibroids/pcos/endometriosis. It would be nice if it asked me “are you undergoing fertility treatment?” Then I wouldn’t feel so judged for my weird cycles (which are medicated) and it would be perhaps easier to log treatment.

Best out there!. I tried five different period trackers and this one by far is the best because of its extensive free features and extensive choices which really allow me to catch all the details. Incredibly deeply informative experience. Love it!

Thanks Ovia! We conceived!. Thanks to Ovia, my husband and I conceived the very first cycle that we started trying. I used Ovia to track my cycle, basal body temp and learn my ovulation symptoms for approx 9 months prior to trying and it paid off - It gave me an amazing insight into when I was ovulating.

Such a help. Great for tracking your cycle. We got pregnant our second month of trying, and only cause we assumed my cycle was 28 days the first time around, but it wasn’t.

Easy to use. I love the options and ease of use. I recommend this app not only for those TTC but also for those who want to track their period and become more aware of their cycle. Fantastic completely anonymous community forum as well. It doesn’t know your body and hasn’t got a tracker in your ovaries so your fertile window and ovulation date is often off, but using cheap eBay OPK has allowed me to track and enter the data. The app allows you to report pregnancy and pregnancy loss, which I felt a nice touch as I have lost three pregnancies since TTC, it makes you feel that your pregnancy was important and valued not just by yourself/partner/ family etc. When you report a pregnancy it prompts you to get the corresponding pregnancy app, I used it with my son and it was just as amazing! The options of things to track are quite broad, which is nice and allows you to accurately keep track of just your body, my only compliant is it would be nice to add custom symptoms not just add it in to the notes section. Things you can tract include bleeding/ period, cervical mucus and changes, mood, symptoms, acne, relationship, pregnancy test results, ovulation test results mood just to name a couple.

Great app!. The only thing that annoys me about it is that I keep getting ads to take surveys about my children/babies. I’ve now had 5 losses in 2 years (been trying for 4.5years), so i find it very insensitive to not log that data of miscarriage so ads about children don’t pop up constantly. It’s been a very, very difficult journey for us.

I love Ovia. Ovia is a wonderful app that I love to use. By entering my data each day, I have become more aware of my body’s symptoms at different times of month and I now know my cycle pattern which I’d never taken much notice of before. As for helping me with TTC, we’ll see what happens. At least I have the right timing now I think. Ovia is the best!

Good tracker but not always accurate. I like this app and think it’s great that it is a community section where you can ask questions to people in a similar situation. I think here should be a function to remember your daily medication or to at least be able to add more than one medication at a time. It’s annoying to log if you take more than one thing. Otherwise pretty solid period tracking app.

Still needs some improvement. Generally a very good app for tracking periods and figuring out when you are ovulating however there are no prompts to take a pregnancy test when your period is late, it automatically inputs data for your period (ie on the day you are due to get your period it automatically adds that you are on your period), also adding more symptoms would be good. It is very baby centric, any symptoms are assumed to be due to TTC (including anxiety/emotions) when this is not necessarily the case.

Better customisation needed. This app is great and has really helped me understand and make sense of my cycle! I would love an update where the fertile window will update and move when you are logging ovulation tests just like your period does.

Better than I thought possible. Had the app for a while before deciding to start trying to fall pregnant. Using the app and the clearblue ovulation kit we fell pregnant first go. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Settings option for trying/not trying just tracking. Overall fantastic and detailed app. Would like two features: 1. Settings option to change the overall focus of trying or not trying to fall pregnant. Some have suffered loss and need a break but need to track until they’re ready again. Overall cycle and ovulation required but not the feed of general ‘get pregnant’ reminder while in active ‘not trying’. App is so good but I have to use something else when I taking a break from pregnancy reminder. Other tracking apps have the feature to turn off ‘pregnancy world’. 2. The calendar is great but I’d like to be able to see more than 1 month at a time view forecast comparison without flicking through the months.

Super Easy to Use. I’ve been tracking for only a month now and I find the feedback and information really helpful. I also contacted them to ask a question and they responded within 24 hours. The other apps I tried were so full of ads I just got frustrated. Happy with this one so far.

Great App!. Love this app! Only suggestion I have is changing the cervical fluid labels. Creamy/sticky being the same is confusing as I have creamy vs sticky during different parts of my cycle and would like those to be separate.

Apple Health Access. Please allow access to more categories in Apple health via Apple Watch. It’s annoying to have to manually input my steps and sleep into your app.

Informative and amazing!. I don’t ever leave reviews but this app really deserves it. I love how it gives information about your part of the cycle and makes various suggestions to help you. Articles are relevant and informative. Tacking my cycle is so easy! Amazing app!!

Recommend. I used this app last year to conceive my daughter and it was very informative and helpful.?

Great, but…. Overall love this app but would be nice if there was the option to add a OPK/LH surge to the calendar which would then adjust the fertility window. Thanks!

Love the app, but.... I really love this app. The only complaint I have is that when you get pregnant and switch to the pregnancy app - you lose all your data. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, so had to start tracking again. It made things difficult to figure out where I was and cycle lengths etc. It would be great if the app simply kept the data and logged each month as pregnant until you tell it otherwise, and then can pick up your data again whenever you need to.

Love it!!. 2016: Got pregnant thanks to this app! Unfortunately had a miscarriage but will try again in September. Update 2016: Thank you OVIA for helping me get pregnant for the second time. Second times the charm *fingers crossed* so we got pregnant! 6 months in and my boyfriend decided he wants the app too! Update 2019: We got pregnant for the third time using the fertility app! And now we are using the pregnancy app to track of our SECOND child!

Great App, one small enhancement.. I love this app, it’s extremely accurate and I love the community! As much as I love the anonymity of having different names every time, I wish there was a way to private message and keep in touch with people you connect with.

Accuracy. I have been using Ovia for many months now along w/ 1 other app. Between the 2, Ovia is the 1 that accurately predicts my period and fertile days 100% accurately. Of course you have to be diligent and track your menstrual cycle days to feed it data, but it really is 100% accurate for me and my cycle.

Update terrible. No longer shows when we have sex on the calendar. Terrible for tracking and getting a quick overview. Looking for a new app after 2 years.

Great App. I used this app when planning both of my children and the variance of days was minimal for my own cycle. I still use it to keep track of my cycle - I just wish I could turn off the supportive baby planning ‘voice’ now that I very much am not planning on another child.

It wouldn’t let me do 2008 for my age. So I got my period when I was 11, and it won’t let me do my age 2008.

More in tune with my body. I appreciate this app so much! Informative and a crucial app for women’s health.

Tried To Use. I downloaded this app after hearing great things, but it doesn’t even let me complete my account set up. I’ve tried 3 times and have even deleted the app and re-downloaded it and nothing. Totally useless.

Worth the money. I love this app. Totally worth the money. The only thing I wish they’d have is a graph showing your weight loss progress, rather than just the bar going across the screen. It’s just a nice visual for your progress :) otherwise I love it

Has everything you need!. I love this app. It has all the information and options you need to stay on top of your period and fertility! What I love is there is some options to pay for extras, but the primary access is all free and it’s so easy to use.

Great app. I love how it tracks my cycle and does a countdown to your fertility window. Extremely helpful

Very helpful. So addictive, you to wake each to new ideas on TTC and more.👍👍👍

Love Ovia! But wish there was one change... I’ve been using Ovia for 6 months and got pregnant really quickly using it! I wish there was a way to disable the “chat” section, I find some of the comments from people very negative and I’d rather not have that part of the app. Other than that - it’s been awesome

Great app. I don’t use all the features yet but I like the accuracy and ease of what I do use. I wish I could track my style of birth control better.

So easy and helpful!!. This app was exactly what I was looking for. It helped me track my cycle and was so easy to use and has a lot of information! I am so so happy I found it after trying a few others!

Bugs. Loving the app but suddenly won’t let me input data. Hopefully next update will fix 🤞🏻

Was good…not anymore. This was amazing when I first downloaded it 7 months ago, but all of sudden it has changed. You can’t input your periods, when you’ve had intercourse. I’m disappointed! I’ve downloaded a meeting app already…

Love this app. I downloaded this app a few months ago because with my partner in another country we can’t try getting pregnant every month. I used this app to keep track of my period and fertility. I’m so happy to say that I’m pregnant on our first try. This app was very helpful. Thank you

Dislike the new look. Love the app! But I took away a star because I loved the previous look which had bright feminine colours and was a positive more friendly look. The new look feels like a work schedule with dull colours.

Best app I’ve used. Very user-friendly app. Lots of options for storing information. Only negative is I can’t track my basal temperature in the temperature setting. It keeps automatically changing it to a different number each time.

Awesome. This app was nothing far from amazing, I was pregnant in the first month of trying with both my children. I now recommend it to anyone I know that is thinking about having kids. Great job on the app !

I like it but.... The premium is killing the app

Intuitive and comprehensive. Easy to use. Has all the information you need in one place. Great tool for natural family planning!

great info and layout, wish it was less gendered. would be great to see this app more inclusive of trans/non binary folks who are ttc

Email subscriptions. The app does have an option to turn all email subscriptions off, however does not reflect that change. Although I continue to click off, they remain on.

Great. Recommended by my doctor and it works great. I’ve tried other apps but keep coming back to Ovia. Love the community page for questions and discussions.

Got me pregnant when I wanted.. The accuracy of the app is amazing. I only used Ovia to track my cycle and it kept me from getting pregnant for over a year and helped me get pregnant as soon as we wanted to start trying.

Great. Easy to use and understand

Great app!. It’s detailed as it should be. I wish there was a space for supplements/herbs and natural medicine.

Awful. This app was fine up until maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago when it was updated and couldn’t be opened since. I waited for weeks for it to be fixed and decided to go with another fertility app. Can’t be waiting this long to put in data. Super useless.

Worked in 6 weeks!. First baby due in 2021! :-o

Best fertility app!. Ovia helped me greatly through conception and pregnancy with first child, and now I’m onto the second!

Like it. I like the app, it’s useful takes couple of months, ~3 cycles, to get fertility window more on track. One recommendation would be for the medication instead of Most Common being general it should be for the user or allow them to be picked by the user. Recent isn’t enough when the Most Common is 6 and that’s for the general public, which if I’m like others it would only be 1 daily and 2 seasonally.

Awesome app. Awesome app

Great fertility tracker—free!. I’m so happy that I could find a place to track my data without paying one of those ubiquitous subscription fees. The tracker is great! It shows all your information and has plenty of charts and summaries for data-nerds like me. The articles are simple, but get straight to the point, and are targeted to where you are in your cycle. And I like that the daily questions are customizable, so you can track as much or as little as you want. Onto my first luteal cycle and waiting for the countdown to my first pregnancy test window!

Not working. After years of using this app and logging my cycle, all of the sudden it says it doesn’t have enough data to predict my next cycle, despite all the previous data showing?? I think since newest update.

Couldn’t download. The app was VERY slow to download so unfortunately I didn’t get to try it.

Baby focused. It’s so baby focused, many of their tips are to increase fertility and what not. I just want a period tracker without having a bag thrown at my face all the time. Also, the app needs data to even load… so I can’t open the app and even see when my last period was/when I’m fertile unless I have data.

Hate the new update. I don’t know if it’s the new colours or what but I can’t stand the new update. I miss how fresh and vibrant the greens and pinks were before. This is just meh. Looks like a doctors sheet. Make it fun!

Oh good! You’ve added ads!. Please get rid of the ads. I’ve enjoyed years of not being bombarded by ads in this app...why now?

Accurate and helpful. I have tried similar apps and this one is the absolute best I have come across. I love the daily charts, feedback and the incredibly helpful news feeds regarding different feminine topics. All around excellent!

Amazin. I got pregnant with my first using this app I’m hoping to fall pregnant again as fast for the second time very accurate no one needs to buy ovulation test it a scam

Needs improvement. Needs separate community section for pregnancy announcements out of respect for this suffering with infertility and separate section for those trying for longer than a year and those not trying to conceive at all. Trigger warnings should be mandatory in all posts about miscarriage and pregnancy announcements

Very insightful. I love Ovia!!! If you turn on fertility content whether or not your TTC it provides you instant feedback on your logged symptoms, daily articles, tips and tidbits. I get this app through my employer and I love the Q&A section where you can chat with a nurse about fertility questions. I am always impressed with the content they put out in articles. The one improvement Ovia developers could make is the “Community” section where you answer other Ovia users questions. When you receive notifications and try to access a question you previously answered, it takes you to the wrong screen. I answer questions or follow for comments and ultimately never get to revisit them because of this notification flaw.

Not for you if not TTC. I used this for my first 2 pregnancies and it was really helpful. But looking back - now that I’m facing some medical issues that was likely impacting my fertility there were very clear signs that something was not right with my cycle and overall health. I’m not asking the app to diagnose any conditions, but a gentle nudge of “something seems off - this is something you should see your doctor about” would have saved me a few years. Last compliant - now that I’m done growing my family I still need an app to track my cycle. I would LOVE to be able to turn off the “trying to conceive” functionality of the app. For someone who has struggled with pregnancies and a miscarriage, the constant bombardment of tips for conceiving makes me want to abandon the app altogether.

Good app to log but not intuitive. I have being using this app for two years. I try to log everything in it that is pertinent to my fertility. Over the course of time I had hoped the app could fairly accurately predict my fertility window and cycle based on the many months of data I have provided. Unfortunately, it has not. My cycle is not the typical four weeks, and even though every month I go in and put in my correct days, the app will predict the next cycle in four weeks. The app though, is a nice “log book” for information. I do appreciate having it all stored in one place. The app also offers good tidbits of information and links to useful products and articles. If you are looking for an app that is intuitive, this is not it, but it is a nice place to enter and store data.

This app has been right on target when it comes to predicting my cycle. The best one I’ve used.. Ovia is so easy to use, and most of the time very accurate. I don’t expect any cycle app to be exactly on point. Given the fact that life situations like stress, diet change, vacation or whatever can affect your period. At least in my case. But I’d say 99% of the time it is spot on. The only suggestion I’d make is a “normal” flow to be added with light, medium, and heavy. Sometimes I’m in between the light and medium and I never know which description to use. But other than that, Ovia is better than best app out there! Thank you for creating this app and making my life a little more simple!!

Best option for cycle tracking. I tried a lot of ovulation/cycle tracking apps while trying to conceive and Ovia was the one I landed on. It was also the only one my doctor recommended to me. Pros: - has all the information I need, without all the clutter and pop-ups in many other apps - the calendar view is clean and effective - the fertility chart is a great way to view your peak ovulation day and track BBT - I can customize what symptoms I want to track Constructive feedback: - I wish there was a paid option to remove the ads (although they are not as obtrusive as many other apps) - I want two-way sync with Apple Health for period dates, ovulation test, cervical mucus, etc. I had to manually enter several months of cycle data from Apple Health when I started using Ovia - when my period was late (and I ended up being pregnant), the app kept automatically logging period days on their predicted days. I would open up the app in the morning and it would tell me I was on day 1 of my period, which was not accurate

Very informative and helpful!. I’ve unfortunately lost 3 pregnancies for strange reasons. This app has allowed me to track my symptoms, read about what is going on with my body, and has helped me feel less alone. There is a little section where women can ask each other questions or get advice from each other. I’ve only every received nice and loving comments. Women often write about the sadness and stress of loss or infertility and we all come together. It helps me feel less alone in times of sadness and frustration. Have never found an app I prefer over Ovia. I would suggest it to a friend in a heartbeat. Thank you to the creators of Ovia.

Frustrating if wanting to get pregnant might be great. I switched to this one because my other one hadn’t been updated in years.... I was disappointed because I asked before getting all situated and several times after and they told me they were coming out with one that didn’t ask all the pregnancy test stuff and soon. That was almost a year ago. If you are trying to get pregnant probably great. But for an older yet not in menopause stage women it doesn’t work good at all. Confusing and can’t opt out of things it says you can. And you can’t just get an easy overall summary unless its pregnant stuff... liked a lot of the features it says it has but you can’t organize it or make it custom to you personally... and have to re put it in. You say you will manually enter in menstrual cycle it does it on its own have to go back in and take it out...

I love it. I love it.

Accurate!. I’ve never had an app accurately predict my period like Ovia. It lets me track my ovulation and it tells me exactly when my period is coming—other apps have been a day or two off, which I think everyone can agree—makes you panic like no other. But Ovia knows exactly when and how long my period will last, and I’ve only been using it for a few months! I love being able to track symptoms and emotions, as well as medications that may affect my period. Best period app out there! Though it is a little too focused on getting pregnant, it’s cute encouragements but I’m not trying right now so I don’t really need to see those.

Perfect App to help a Lady keep up with her woman parts. I have used this app since my last pregnancy, 11 years ago, and I love it! Seriously. It helps me keep track of important info and events that I otherwise would not. They are constantly making improvements to the app by adding additional places for data input. However, it would be AWESOME if they also offered a selection of WiFi enabled devices which can measure things like basal body temp, etc., which I could then sync with the app to enable easy data input and recording. Just an idea🤷🏼‍♀️ I would buy one if sold thy you guys and performed well. Otherwise, keep up the awesome work!👍🏼

Prefer it over Flo. I started off using the Flo app and I like the simplicity of that app better, however Ovia has a lot more options of things to log and actually lets you input your day of ovulation yourself. Which is really cool. Flo just gives you a prediction date of ovulation which was WAYYY off for me and didn’t change my fertile window based on cervical mucus. And although I was able to log pregnancy tests in the past and it gave me the option to log ovulation, that feature no longer exists for me and I’ve emailed the app people and no response. So I much prefer ovia for trying to get pregnant. It has everything Flo had and WAY more.

I wish it would connect!. I like the Ovia app... however, I wish it would completely connect to “My Fitness Pal” & Apple Health. Between the two apps, it records my sleep patterns, my exercise, what I ate, my water intake, and how much I weigh daily. As of now, Ovia only links my period and my sexual activity with Apple Health. I downloaded this app while I was on vacation. Once my vacation ended, I found it harder to keep up with the Ovia app in addition to “My Fitness Pal”. I like the concept of the Ovia app. But I also find it beneficial to keep track of my personal health. I would love to have the accessibility of both apps without having to input my data twice each day on two different apps. I had a different fertility app prior to Ovia, but I loved that this app does currently link to “My Fitness Pal” & Apple Health... but it only shares sexual activity and mensural cycles. Please help!

No in-app purchases. I love this app! I have used other trackers but I either had to pay to get all the features or pay once it was downloaded or it would have ads everytime I tried to add something. This is completely free, no hidden charges. You can track spotting, flow quantities, symptoms, how much water your drinking, caffine intake, activity level, whether you did the deed, your mood, weight , b/p or blood sugar, what medication or vitamins you took(ie, multivitamin or tylenol for cramps) and other intimate information. It also syncs to your health app on your phone. I have PCOS so this helps track my spotting so I can report to my doctor about med adjustments.

Game changer. When I started using this app me and my husband were trying to get pregnant. We were successful and I was pregnant with our Lillie after a short time. At 4 months pregnant I had a stroke. I recovered and she was fine. Then at 7 months we lost our Lillie. I learned shortly after her death I have a super rare condition. Dormant anti phospholipid syndrome. It causes rare blood conditions in 2-3 trimesters. With no warming. We learned that this is a condition that shows no signs or symptoms until you are pregnant and will cause massive blood clots. So we now have to track and chart everything to know as soon as possible if I do get pregnant so I can start blood thinners. It has been a miracle for us and I hope it can help others too.

Love this app! Best tracker I’ve used…BUT…. I absolutely love this app. I really like the variety and accuracy of symptoms that you can put and I like that you can also track sexual activity and fertility. Tracking your cycle with this app is super simple and easy and the little articles that you can read are very informative and helpful! My only complaint is that the birth control method I use is not available as an option in the birth control section, I feel like my information and cycle predictions would be much more accurate if I could pick the birth control I’m using. Currently, I use Nexplanon and the only options I see in my app for birth control is the pill and the IUD. If the developer could add more birth control methods that would be great!

It worked!. I started using this app a year before my husband and I started trying for a baby because I wanted to monitor when my period would start and what days I should avoid sex so that we wouldn’t get pregnant. When we decided we were ready to start trying in February of 2016, we had tried to be more active on fertile days. I found out I was pregnant on March 5th the following month, so I think it is safe to assume that charting like this really worked for us! I also really really loved the pregnancy app and I love how it has followed my daughter’s growth even into the parenting app! I live them all and now I’m coming back to start tracking my monthly cycles again!

Getting to know your body!. As someone who was on birth control for 16 years, I knew I wanted to conceive in a couple years. It was also hard to ignore that I hadn’t had a period in two years, and even that one was short and irregular. This app has helped me get off birth control and understand my body enough to know when I am and not able to conceive. Although at first it was awkward checking my cervix, and certainly tedious doing so every day; it quickly became fun and learning about my body has been a great experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BOOK “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” it helps to understand the fertility awareness method and this app helps chart all your info rather than doing it on paper.

Great app for tracking!. My husband and I have been casually trying since last November with the, “if it happens, it happens”, and started to use the app since. Now for the past two months we have kicked it into high gear and have taken trying to conceive more seriously and I’m so glad this app gives get insights on my fertility window as well as tracking other elements that could help you along in tracking. I love the graphs that details the high and low of your window; also it provides you with information pending what “symptoms” you are experiencing. Looking forward to switching to the Ovia pregnancy app hopefully soon!

Too much going on. I love the pregnancy app and hoped to love this as much but there are two areas I am not happy with and will likely delete it for: 1) the “community” section is never made sense to me- why do I have to answer questions to see comments and why do the questions expire? Why not have boards that can be searched like so many other apps? And 2) it over complicated tracking my cycle. I do appreciate all there is to be able to track but, at the end of the day, is it too much to ask for a calendar that shows both my projected period along with when I enter my actual period so I can see how far off from a regular cycle I am? Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems to auto-fill my period until I go on day by day to correct it. Very frustrating.

Solid fertility app!. I downloaded this app to track my period; and it did an amazing job of doing that for me (my periods are brutal due to Adeno but they are regular). When I decided it was time to try for a baby, I was familiar enough with all the signs I needed to look for as well as use ovulation strips thanks to this app. I went on to use Ovia Pregnancy, and it was just as fantastic! I highly recommend this to all my friends who don’t currently have a fertility/period app. I do wish they’d give more options on mucus consistency because there are more variations than the small amount they give you to choose from. But other than that, great product.

Love the App- could use an update for the community tab. Ovia is great for tracking my cycles and has really helped me while trying to conceive. I do wish the Community Tab were a little bit more intuitive. I love the anonymity of it, but would love to be able to “like” comments or even be able to reply to comments. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to get a more obvious notification when someone comments on a threat/question you posted on. The community of Ovia is one of the coolest additional features of the app so it would be great to see development in that area. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the functionality of the app and all of the valuable information it gives!!

Great for Cycle Tracking. I absolutely love Ovia!! The only reason I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5 is because... It would be great if women could track Ferning on here. I’ve been researching ferning quite a bit and it seems like one of most clear ways to track ovulation. Of course you would need a microscope. But not everyone has one just lying around the house so most pregnancy sites sell a ‘ferning microscope’ (about the size of a lipstick) and you use just a dab of saliva. That’s it! But other than that it’s an amazing app! Super easy to understand, easy on the eyes, and best of all... COMPLETELY FREE!!! Unlike the Fertility Friend app that costs money (very expensive for a period/ovulation tracking app) and its hard to navigate and understand. I love that not only can you track your physical/mental symptoms, but when you add it to your calendar, Ovia gives you insights of what those symptoms could mean! You can create poll questions anonymously and get feedback from others like you in the Ovia community! You’re not alone! There are other women out there who share some of the same experiences and feelings! 😘 OVIA, PLEASE ADD FERNING TRACKING!! 🔬🌿

Overall great app aside from fertile window predictions. I use this app, Apple Health and another app. The other app and Apple Health have the same days for my fertile window. However, Ovia says my window is always a week after the other apps days. This led me to buying an ovulation kit last month to determine who was right so I have a better chance of conceiving. Turns out Ovia was wrong and I ovulate on different days than they thought. You can fix it to the days you ovulate, but it hasn’t helped the next month. It still says it will come later than the other apps suggest. Everything else is great. It predicts my periods well, usually only being a day or two off. Just wish it would predict my fertile window better.

Love this! Would add a few things.... I’ve been using this app for a few months now and love all the detail and insights it gives. I would however love to see a few additions to it. I would like an option to see a chart of some kind for specific symptoms or actions. For example, if I logged that I had fatigue, I would love to be able to filter the calendar to look at all the days I logged fatigue. Rather than trying to find it by clicking every single day and scrolling thru what I entered that day. Also, I would love to add in more than one result per day. For instance, I started taking ovulation tests in both the morning and right before bed. Would love to log results for both. Thanks for much! Really do love the app.

Different than the rest!. I have had so many different period tracking apps that I just couldn’t stand because they didn’t let you personalize fully and they wouldn’t break things down to help you with fertility tracking. This breaks it down all the way to what day you should take a pregnancy test after your most fertile days in your window. Along side tracking your ovulation, it recommends when to take ovulation tests and prompts questions for you to really personalize your journey. Would recommend a hundred times over to anyone who has a difficult time fully following period/ ovulation documenting!

A couple changes would make this even better. I really enjoy this app. There are a few suggestions that I think would be helpful. I think a date search tool would be useful. For example I used this app when I was pregnant with my son in 2016 it would be nice to be able to type in a date to pull up that time in that pregnancy to compare symptoms instead of having to continue to go through the calendar. The other useful thing is to keep the week counter from previous pregnancy for the same purpose to you can look back. Otherwise this is a great app and I love how much information it has!

Great but could use some improvements.. I input that I’m not ttc but half the insights still assume I am. Like the question asking how long after last pregnancy did you start ttc again question—needs an option that said didn’t/am not trying. And then I input that I was adopted. I can’t answer questions about my birth mother. So it’d be really nice if it stopped asking me. I will never be able to answer if my birth mother had gestional diabetes. I do not know my family health history. The app can tell me it’s good to know my family health history all it wants but some people don’t know their biological families. It also really needs to stop telling people to check their cervix. That’s not an indicator of anything until active labor and just introduces germs.

Be accurate. It’s a great app but you have to be accurate with everything so that the app gives you the correct “ovulation” period and when to expect your menses. You can also ask questions under the community tab and you can filter who sees it. The only thing that threw me off about the community tab is that your asking a question so it’s open to anyone in that category and at times some of the women on the app can be a bit rude. Especially if your a first time mom or trying for your first baby. I got off because of this. Some talk to you like they know it all and make you feel small. I’d say just be prepared for peoples opinions and remember YOUR body is DIFFERENT and you WILL have a baby/babies!

I liked this app. The app is easy to use. I used Ovia while my husband and I were trying to conceive (and we are now expecting our little one this October). At the beginning I was trying to track everything - water intake, nutrition, hours I slept, etc - but it because too much. Eventually I just stuck to logging when we had sex and when I got my period. I feel like for the most part the app got my fertile days correct, but I never took ovulation tests or my temperature. My cycles were always very consistent. I really liked that there was a community, but eventually I had to avoid it because everyone symptom spotting was making me do the same. One thing that would be nice is if the app could also work on the Apple Watch. I would have liked to be able to put in logs through the Watch.

This is a great app!. I have used this app for several years and it’s always been one I enjoy using. It’s great at predicting what’s to come after a couple of cycles and does give awesome tips and stuff about many different topics. I will admit my only complaint is that I don’t like the trying to conceive tips all the time. Even if you change the setting you won’t stop seeing the TTC tips. I found it hard seeing these after my youngest daughter passed in 2018 so to avoid hurt I avoided my app. I’m still spotty about using it but my personal grief doesn’t change how great of an app it is! For my both of my children I also used the pregnancy app by Ovia and it was just as informative and fun to keep up with. Ovia makes awesome tools that are easy to use and so beneficial!

Thourough and comprehensive. This app is very through and the displays are easy to work with. I am using it to prevent pregnancy because hormonal contraception doesn't work for me. I highly recommend this app! It helps you get to know your body in ways you would have never considered.....Now I am more confident in FAM thanks to Ovia! 🤘 Room for improvement: it would be nice for the app to cater a little more to people trying to not get pregnant; for example- if you could input forms of birth control you are using during fertility window. Also I would prefer a fertility chart that you can zoom out of or see in a more "big picture" view.

No periods on birth control. The fact that there is constant advertising for hormonal birth control and that there is an option to track your period on birth control is completely IDIOTIC. this perpetuates the FALSE idea that you're still having a period when you SHUT DOWN YOUR HORMONES by taking the pill. YOU, ovia, are the problem with women's health. You pretend to support women's periods (which are good for us whether we are TTC or not) but really you're just a peddler for big pharma and probably as uneducated about women's bodies as they are. I used to like this app because it had so much detailed tracking information that I could use. But I hate how it predicts my fertility and automatically puts in a period when I haven't added one. Why would this be helpful? You need to just be a recepticle for my information and women need to stop trusting stupid apps like this.

Easy. This will be the first baby that we are planning so I started using Ovia to be prepared when my birth control comes out I’ll be able to start tracking sooner. There are things I didn’t even know you could track when getting pregnant. And the fact that I can ask Any question and it’s anonymous makes me feel that I won’t be drugged but, there’s no way I could be charged with this kind of support. Even if I don’t know the information that it’s asked me, there is article after article of information that will help me along the way to understand I’ve had two children before and I feel like this is the only offer and I’ll be prepared for love this app recommended it to three other girls.

It’s Ok. I was an avid user of Pink Pad, but with the developers decided to shut it down, I had to go with something else. This app was suggested to me, but I’m not finding it to be what I like. I don’t like how small the calendar is (even though the details and symptoms underneath are cool), but I like a full screen of the calendar. And I don’t like how my predicted period automatically starts on the day that it’s predicted. It shouldn’t say I’ve started my period until I put it in, and it should calculate my predicted period as late if I have not started on the predicted day. So, now I have to keep resetting it and it says I’m a crazy amount of days into my cycle, when in actuality, I could be pregnant. I also would rather have my home page not be filled with articles and things, but if only my period information, and have a separate tab for those kinds of things.

Thank you.. I was referred the Ovia Pregnancy app when I became pregnant about 3, almost 4 months ago. I ended up losing my baby and became severely depressed. I reported the miscarriage with the app to stop the daily emails which served a daily reminder of the death of my baby. With doing so, they sent one last email I wasn’t expecting. An email with their condolences and different ways of finding help in the case of depression and how to deal with the loss. It genuinely surprised me and helped a great deal. I gained an even deeper appreciation for the app and the Ovia people, as I already loved the app for being genuinely helpful and charming. After regaining some happiness my significant other and I decided we wanted to try again. So I came back to Ovia to check out their fertility app. And as expected it has the same heartwarming appeal as the other. I appreciate Ovia and all of its apps as they are easy to use, very detailed, sincerely helpful, and beautifully designed. I recommend it to anyone and everyone trying to conceive or pregnant. With hope, I will come back for the parenting app in 9 months. Thank you.

Not for infertility. My biggest issue with Ovia is that it has no ability to customize for infertility and reproductive disorders. Even though they encourage you to fill out a health assessment and report diagnosed issues, you get the same daily messages as if everything is status quo. For example, you input that you’re using IVF, and it still sends messages like “you’re in the follicular phase, and one egg will mature.” Nope. Once you start using any kind of advanced reproductive technology the app does not adjust, it just keeps on showing predictions as normal. My advice? Develop a set of 5-7 messages around the different concerns women have. You know better than anyone that all women are different. Then think about ways the prediction feature can adjust for IUI, IVF, or other cycles.

Best tracking app. This app, and the other two by the same people, is seriously amazing. With the ability to track everything including sleep, period symptoms, exercise, medicines, food intake, and much more, this app truly helps you navigate your period. It has the best and most lovely related articles, medical advice, and community option to see how others are dealing with similar problems. This feature also allows you to have and give support when needed. And with it all organized in a calendar it makes everything very accessible. Highly recommend this app. Creator(s) of Ovia, thank you for putting your time into this app and then still letting us use it for free

THE BEST. I never write reviews but I had to! This app is the BEST. The interface is clean and easy to use. The dashboard gives you at great info, like how many days until you should take a pregnancy test and a score for how fertile you are that day. They also give feedback on your symptoms and share how similar you are statistically to others and give insight into what symptoms (like cramping or cervical fluid) could mean. Other apps I've used always tried to make you pay more for this kind of personalized info. There's also lots of great articles and ads -- and I don't know how they do it, but it's such a positive and encouraging app... Their verbiage is always fun and uplifting. Really love this app and highly recommend!

LOVE THIS APP. I’ve been using this app since 2017. At first I used it to keep track of my period. Shortly after identifying my fertile window I was able to get pregnant and used Ovia Pregnancy throughout. I checked the app everyday sometimes multiple times a day! It was so fun and helpful being able to ask a question to a specified audience and get anonymous feedback. I can’t even tell you how many times i asked questions about symptoms and other pregnancy related topics. This app got me through not one but two pregnancies and parenthood. Now I’m back to using it for period tracking but when I’m ready for a third child I will 100% be using Ovia Fertility. DOWNLOAD THIS APP YOU WONT REGRET IT ❤️

Pregnant in 1 cycle. I was introduced to this app from “Its Judys life” (she’s a YouTuber) and I figured I would give it a shot. We’ve been trying on and off for 14 months and I was using another app to track my period and fertile days....(We weren’t really trying hard since we already have a 22 month old daughter and most of the time she keeps us very busy) so I decided to use this app as it wouldn’t hurt. 1. I imputed my last 3 cycles in ahead of time so it would more accurately calculate my cycle... if not better predict my next month’s period since I had an event coming up soon. 2. I realized the fertile days on this app was +/- a few days then the other app I was using. 3. On CD 28, I felt mild symptoms and decided to take a test and got a positive!

Amazing app. I love this app , have been using it for about 6 years now and it’s always accurate on my cycle, I’ve been able to conceive previously thanks to Ovia and I love that it switches to Ovia pregnancy once you say you got a positive pregnancy test. I use it every day not just to know when to try for baby but to know what’s going on with my body and keep tabs on it. Plus the daily tips and comments are awesome! I highly recommend this app to anybody that is trying to conceive, input about 2-3 months of information with previous cycles with exact dates of beginning to end to receive an accurate prediction on when you’re ovulating and when it’s time to make baby ! Awesome app will keep using it indefinitely.

This APP has helped me avoid pregnancy for over a year.. I am married and have two children (both conceived while on the pill and one on an IUD) and don’t plan on having anymore anytime soon. I have a complicated cycle (every month it jumps a week forward) I have been using this App for over a year to avoid conception and have decided to use it instead of messing myself up more with birth control. Birth control has not only not been effective for me but has caused my body and mental health tribulation. Ovia has helped me keep track of my cycle and the days I am safe to have sex with my husband with no worry of conception. I am fully aware that it is not guaranteed to keep me from conceiving.

This App is AMAZING!. I truly cannot say enough good things about this app. It’s attractive, easy to use and informative. The coaching feature is wonderful. The nurses who respond are compassionate and intelligent and they respond very quickly. I was using the Ovia pregnancy app (which is also awesome) before suffering a miscarriage. The nurses were so helpful and caring. They helped me update both apps to reflect what had happened and to focus on moving forward with trying to get pregnant again. I would recommend this app to anyone trying to get pregnant or even just looking to track their cycle comprehensively and learn along the way!

Works PERFECTLY!!!. Ladies let me tell you how good this works. My wife decided one day it was time for her to get pregnant...now see I didn’t know this...nor did she choose to tell me either. She used the app to track her periods and fertility and when it said the time was right she stopped taking her birth control (again without talking to me) and let me tell you how good this thing works. We don’t have sex often...so when it said to...she made it happen. As they say it only takes one time...that’s all it took. We are now pregnant and I no longer trust my wife, but don’t let that stop you from trusting this app!!! Because unlike my wife...this thing tells the truth and you can trust it!

Missing Major Health Events. I overall love this app to help me figure out where I am in my cycle. The chats tend to be generic about the same things. I get that but I am shocked at the fact that when I had endometriosis surgery, there was no way for me to indicate that. It’s a major women’s issue but doesn’t exist in the app as a choice. So the app kept telling me “time for a pregnancy test”. Uhhhhhh what? There are so many “symptoms” and other things I can enter - but not anything female operation related - a LEEP, ovarian cancer, endo surgery, nothing. Would love to see this addressed. Let’s get some funding for these diseases so we know more about them!!!! (not Ovia’s problem but interesting how a woman’s cycle app has such a glaring gap).

I love this app! But.... I love this app! It’s so easy to use, and gives you plenty of information about the info you give it, this is the app I used to get pregnant with my daughter and I highly recommend it to all my TTC friends! My one and only problem with the app is that I can’t 100% accurately input information because of the choice given. For example sometimes my cervical mucus will be One color, but a different consistency than the option for the color it is. It would be a lot easier if it had the option to pick a color and consistency in a different selection, like how it gives with spotting. (You pick spotting and it asks about the color)

Very helpful and convenient!. Using Ovia to help my husband and I conceive. Easy to learn how to use and I love all of the options it has to track your daily routines and daily body functions. It’s easy to go back on previous days entries to predict what my body is going through and when the best time will be to conceive. I notice myself going on the app to also take a look at the daily tips, and articles! I’m a reader, and I love the extra advice through fun to read articles with reliable resources. Ovia has been helpful so far and I highly recommend if you’re trying to learn how to track your bodies functions whether your trying to conceive or not. Not pregnant yet, this is my first month using the app.

So Accurate!. I love this app! I’m never ready for my period to come, and I live in Miami, so Ovia helps me make sure I’m not wearing white! Beyond that, I’ve had an interesting two years in my reproductive life. Irregular flows, scents and pains had become a commonplace for me. Ovia helped me track, recognize and better communicate my health. Based on my experience using the tools Ovia offers, I chose to avoid a fibroid removal surgery and had UFE performed on my fibroids. Thanks for creating an app that is as comprehensive as I’ve ever seen, but still easy to use and understand! It would be legendary if this app eventually connected specialists with women seeking help with difficult or unusual situations.

It’s easy and I like the way it now has more options for symptoms lol. I’m using this app for ttc...I’ve been using it for almost a year but I agree with another commenter about the “you are on your period” and it is discouraging especially when we come on here everyday and fill out the log etc...And I would love if it actually knew when I was ovulating for sure lol guess it’s my fault about slacking on my bbt I always say yes I’m doing to do it tomorrow and then I get out of bed and curse myself out cuz I forget hahahaha! Maybe a reminder ? Lolol! Anyways overall I’m satisfied with this app! It’s extremely easy to use! You can chat with other females going through the same thing as you are and it’s free ! Thanks! Enjoy and baby dust to all of us who are trying for our wonderful most precious miracles ❤️❤️😘

Love it. I absolutely love this app! I’ve been using it for about 2 almost 3 years now. I have irregular periods so having this app helps me keep track of things. I love how easy it is to use and not like other apps there aren’t a lot of advertisements. The only thing I would change about it is the community tab. Instead of yes/no questions and answers it would be nice to connect with other women on the app. Being able to write a comment to help with struggles, questions or just boosting someone’s day. A way to interact with other women who are going through the same things.
