Used to love it. But now there are ads that pop up EVER SINGLE TIME you swipe. It's so frustrating. Not the way to get me to purchase the ad free version. I used this app for years and loved it and now it's so frustrating with adds popping up all the time. It's unusable.

Upgrade. UPDATE: I changed my review to 5 Star. Even though I am unhappy with having to pay $20 a year after I already paid for Pro, this is a really good app! I wish the fonts was bigger on the 7 day forecast so I hope that is fixed soon. The ability to save the animated icons don’t work with switched to Instagram. UpDATE: Developers don’t care if you paid for the previous Pro version. They want more money for new revision. Previous users should be grandfathered in. The new version icons are so small barely can see. I have been a Pro user of InstaWeather for years and now the app is changed to a different name and I had to pay again?!?! I should not have to pay $20 a year when I paid for Pro already. Also, the forecast options are missing on this new version.

Weather wars gone. My favorite feature was comparing weather in two places as my hubby travels a lot but feature is gone in new app so do not think I will use this app anymore after years.

Too bad. Enjoyed for last few years. But options are gone, and you want way too much for what looks like only a small amount of the old options. Am deleting...

I paid for premium but. When you upgraded you took it away and now you want me to pay again?? I also did the same with instafood and that gone now?

Switch phones. Paid for yearly subscription. Got new phone can’t transfer account over wants me to repurchase product. No response from customer service.

Weathershot USED to be good...not today!. I had premium version. I won’t support the subscription model that’s all the rage today. App does NOT pull photos from Camera Roll (iPhone) with no option to choose the roll. Bad! Fonts are smaller. Doesn't look like their slick marketing photos.

Not Worth the $$$$$$$ Cost. I had previously purchased the premium version of this app. Last year, they changed it so only the original templates could be used, then asked $9.99/month (A MONTH!) to use the templates I had previously had access to via premium purchase. Today I logged in and they’ve further locked down to only ONE template I can use without being hijacked for $9.99/month. (The rest of those templates in the original collection are equally boring, which tells me they’re desperate for cash). Developers: if you’re so hard up you have to hold users hostage for it via steep endless monthly charge versus raise capital through VC, you’re not a (financially) stable platform. Taking my photos elsewhere.

Paying again?. I’ve been a WeathershotPro user and had already paid for the previous pro versions. But now they are switching to subscription system for skins! Well, I suppose they should come up with more attractive skins or functions in order to keep users to subscribe for the service. And as for users like me, who already had paid for pro version(s), I believe the company should grant some kind of grace period in order to compensate for the already paid users. I, myself, would not subscribe to use the skins... and honestly I felt betrayed as paying system changed and not considering the pro users!!!

Buggy export. $38/year. Memory hog.. Used to be a fun little app. Now it’s bloated and buggy and nearly every overlay is a premium feature for $38/year…for just a cute text overlay app. Nope! Deleted.

Greedy. After I purchased the Pro edition, they switched to a subscription model, which also require a registration. Not to mention the tracking warnings on the App Store. It’s ridiculous.

No way to save. I have tried every button in the app but haven’t figured out how to save or share a weather update. I am using the free version and if one can only save and share by buying premium, this app is gone...

MERCENARY. Thanks for cutting the weather feed off from the old app (“Conveniently” showing us how to update to the new app - paying more $$$). I know developers have to eat, BUT SO DO I. I have hundreds off apps. If I paid subscription fees to each one, I would be shelling out over a thousand dollars a month ON MAINTAINING APP SUBSCRIPTIONS ALONE!

Don’t Waste Your Money. This used to be a great app but now it requires a log in for even the basic functions and a subscription that is bull****. I’m deleting the app and finding something better.

Overwhelming. I prefer the original basic version that I paid for. They have over developed it and now want me to pay for options I don’t want

Greedy. I like using this app a lot. Until they became greedy. I bought the pro before and now its unsupported anymore. What is that? Now they want me to purchase the yearly subscriptions. I’ll just uninstall your app. Thank you.

Hasn’t Worked Properly Since 16.4 iOS Update. When it works this is a wonderful app, but they charge premium price for an app that is very buggy & they are slow to support. Multi-location weather skins don’t work. My paid subscription stops working after a month EVERY YEAR & customer service is VERY slow to do anything about it. Had to get a refund from Apple, then reinstall and pay AGAIN. Will give this 5 stars if they ever fix it. For now, it’s $40 down the drain.

I missed this app. My phone ran out of space and the app returned to the cloud. When I was able to upgrade the phone and dad to see there is no longer a free version

GIF. This app is pretty good. I like it. Unfortunately, GIFs doesn’t work on Facebook. Would love to have GIF working. It does work when saved in my photo album but not on FB. Trying to decide if I should subscribe after free trial ends next week. 🤔

Take functionality away. I bought this app outright a couple years ago but then the developer changed to a subscription model and takes away functionality even from the paying customers. Bad!

Pathetic. I, too, previously paid to unlock premium features for the pro version! Now it has been changed and they want an annual subscription fee! I am calling iTunes to complain and to get my money refunded! SLEAZY!

From great to garbage!. This used to be a great app. Then they changed everything so much I didn’t even recognize the app after the change. They could and should have just left this app alone and launched a new app instead of this. They also changed to a subscription model which for me is a 100% deal breaker. I deleted the app and now I’m looking for alternatives. After seeing some of the developer responses to negative reviews I can see they have gone off the rails. To potential customers out there I would highly recommend passing on this app.

They changed everything!! Not worth it now!!. This app had an update that changed everything and wiped out all the in app content that I paid for. I used to love the classy weather overlays - now they just have corny graphics and simple cheesy emojis. What happened??? Totally not worth buying the new content. Way to rip off your users. If I could rate no stars I would.

Price increase was excessive. I simply use this app for work - as a day and weather stamp on the photo of my location that day. $20 increase over prior years is ridiculous. If I was in the market for an app of this type I would not spend nearly $40 for one.

Can't use camera roll photo. We're supposed to be able to use camera roll photos, but every time I try to use one, the date, time, and temp defaults to where and when the photo was taken. So I'm trying to use a pic from a few months ago, and it says Wednesday 3pm 80F when it's Thursday 8am and 60F. I keep trying to change it but it won't change to the current time and date and temp. I like this app, but I can't go run outside and take pics just to get the most current and accurate info. I'm in FL. It doesn't matter if my palm tree pic is from today or last month. All seasons look the same! Is this a bug or am I just not able to use camera roll photos as pics for my current weather pic? ;(

Not worth it. After you purchase a premium account all the new stickers and won’t load. You uninstall the app go to hit the restore purchases button and nothing. Contact them and they say purchase another subscription. Customer service is not a strong point with this company.

App forecast data does not update for most skins. The forecast data does not update for most skins. Skins will show the current weather. And the weather for the forecast is stuck in the weather at the time of the conversion to WeatherShot from the previous app. This is very frustrating if the problem is not fixed soon I will not be renewing next year. I have found no way to edit the data. All location services are on. It’s definatly not gonna be 19° in Louisville Kentucky on June 3rd.

Ads and Pay For. When opening the app you have to wait til the subscription ad disappears before you can do anything in the app. Then once in the free version only give one option. Not worth it.

Started Crashing. All of a sudden the app started crashing both on my iPhone and my iPad. Love the app, hope you can fix the problem in your next update.

DO NOT INSTALL IT!. I paid for the previous version to be a pro. Not after the update, they changed the name (Instaweather) and are charging for the a different App. For sure the App was sold to another developer and who paid before LOST their money. Apple should stop this practice. PS: 1 star is for the attitude. For the previous App I give 3 stars.

Just outrageous.. I dislike developers who are asking you to pay for a Pro version and then change their pricing model, mainly pushed by Apple which takes its percentage on each sale, and ask you to pay again. So you have to pay again and again, so greedy you are guys. I’d would rather pay for each new version, than paying $20 just for a bunch of skin that I can get free from the web or that I can make myself with any other photo apps. You application has been deleted.

Too bad to buy it again. I am an iOS developer and it is not good to have to pay for subscriptions after having purchased the app before.

Tricky App who forced to go into trial mode.. Forced you to jump into trial even w/o any approval then credit card shows up the bill even if one week later. If you didn’t pay attention on your email then you got charged one week later. I will have to cancel my credit card too. Very tricky app!!!

Wow. I paid for the pro version. I understand adding new features or skins and not making those available, but to lock me out of the previous pro features is ridiculous. Not just that but $20 a year for this!!?? (After 1 year at $10) is ridiculous.

weathershot review.. I had this app everlasting years ago when i thought it was less expensive🤔. I also thought I only signed up for one month but to my surprise there was a little over a $20 charge for an annual acct on my Apple acct. these are the only reasons for the three stars right now. I don’t travel much but I live on Nantucket and so do 3 of my four children so why would I leave? I’ll review again after looking under the hood and playing around a bit. Hoping to take more pictures this year also hopeful that this may help✌️

Claim screen won’t go away. It’s honestly really annoying that the green claim button is stuck on there even still when I click it. Please fix.

Very unhappy!. I recently paid for an upgrade to unlock all the premium features of this app before the app was updated and changed its name. My payment unlocked all of the overlays for all of the seasons and weather conditions. I was very happy with the app. Then a couple weeks later the app did an update and I lost everything I had paid for and now it’s changed to a yearly subscription of $20 a year? There is no way I would pay that much for an app like this after I already paid to unlock everything before. The new overlays aren’t nearly as nice as the old ones either.

Unacceptable. I bought this app a few years ago and after the developers change the name because Facebook asked for all cias change who have been used “INSTA” in the app’s name, I don’t have anymore this app, the old name was Instaweather and now the name is WeatherShot, neither Apple nor the developers has a solution for this case. And the developers want that I make a new purchase, It’s unacceptable!

Unable to log into app. I’ve been a Weather Pro customer for many years. Now I understand they CHANGED the app with more features. Okay no problem. I downloaded the app from my cloud in the App Store. Launched the app, attempted to sign in with my Apple ID as well as Facebook and NOTHING. I entered my User Name, read the Terms even used my email address and it WON’T take me to the next screen. Frustrating app anyone else having issues???? Tom P.

Only one free skin!!????. Seems that you can only use one free, very boring skin now and can’t edit that one. So disappointing! There’s no way on earth I’m paying $40 a year to take an occasional photo. Crazy

Was a great app.. This WAS a great app. Simple and fun. Now it is overly complicated with nothing but ads. You have to click through junk now every time you try to use it. It take a lot more clicks to do literally anything in it.

Pro version no longer works. No longer works. Not even able to open unless Bluetooth is allowed.

Happy but not. Glad for an ipgraded app but not happy I have to pay again since I bought WeathershotPro. And it’s getting a little pricey.

Privacy. Why would this app require to access all photos in my gallery? Enough with allowing us to manually select the photos we want the app to have access too. Why do I need to sign from another app like my Facebook , google or Apple ID? Why not just opening an account with an email? Where is my privacy?

Paid for an App but then….. I purchased WeatherPro app in 2010. Paid for it and loved it. Used it all the time but then one day the app stopped working…oh yeah they developed a completely new app under the same name and charge an egregious amount of money for it. The developer created an update that made it where my app just stopped working. This way I have to download their new app (under the same name) and start paying an annual fee? No one time fee? Whatever, I’ll never pay.

New app is limited...awful update!. Always tries to get user to upgrade to premium when the Free app is Adequate

Price gouging developers. Used to use weathershot pro daily then they had a monthly sub and then changed to yearly. Software is not worth 40 dollars a year for the same worthless crap from weathershot pro. Found a better program. Wish these developers the best. Eventually you will learn to not screw over your original base of users. I will give software a 3 star.

Forced into subscription? No thanks. This new version of the app is definitely a step backwards. I installed it but as soon as I went to use it, there came the “pay for trial and then $$$ for each year after that”. So I skip that. Read two more intro slides and press “get started” and guess what - up comes the “pay for subscription”. I skip, press get started and it’s an infinite loop of pain. I would rather the old system where you can use it without the f▪️▪️▪️ing pestering for subscribers. Add to this, the price. Why so much to subscribe? Why no pay outright price? The previous version was a pleasure to use, but now we are hassled in that to go to the new one. I’m going to be deleting BOTH of these apps, even though I loved the previous one, even as a non subscriber. If we are paying to use a particular data feed then why not make the price a small amount more to cover costs, or allow the user to choose the data feed - maybe use one of the many free to use ones? I am one of the people who still prefer to pay for an app, and not lease it. It’s the reason I don’t pay for personal use of Adobe or Microsoft apps any more. Sorry, but I’m so disappointed.

Too many ads, too many crashes. Got the free version to see if the paid version was worth it. Incredibly intrusive ads and crash after crash means I can't preview the apps and just makes me, as a potential customer, mad. You should really work in showcasing your app better.

On the outset this looks to be a good app- until you pay for pro and everytime they update it you are asked to re pay for the pro version - then last update it changed to monthly subscription and your previous purchases are disregarded...now asking for me to pay again for monthly to get what I originally paid for.... don't bother paying for pro. I have sent numerous messages…

Sad. Before last update there was the possibility to save the picture in camera roll. Now they want money to do it. The updates must be to improve the app,not to leave options!!!

Can't access instaweather. I have an iPhone 6plus, can't access the app. Tried to delete and then reinstall. Didn't help. Do t have a problem with my usage. The number 1 is always on but I can't check. Thank you

Another Subscription. This was a brilliant app. Loved the original, then I liked it so much I paid for the Pro version. Now it’s gone to subscription and I’ve lost access to all the features. So frustrating. You should have let early adopters retain their access. I don’t use the app enough to justify a monthly subscription and a fairly hefty fee at that for what it is. So disappointed.

Need a fix. I like it but whenever I take a pic to upload to facebook it closes and of course my pic is gone. It also says I dont have the pro I do but wish it would have all just synced into one app without having them both. So right at this point Im disappointed.

Good. It's good but the locations are not accurate, at least where I am in Australia. It reports my location as a city 30km away. Earlier versions were accurate, but for the last few updates, it's been very inaccurate. It means I don't really want to use it until that's fixed, since I don't want my photos with the wrong locations on them.

Great app. A picture paints a thousand words. We are all busy. With this app you can say it all on a couple of clicks

Fun App. Easy to use. Lots of template options. Nice designs. Bit more control on where a design sits in a photo would be a nice bonus.

Sad that you did the update. There was nothing wrong with the previous app. Now a lot of the features that I used is no longer available or am now forced to pay for the premium package if I want to use skins that were previously offered.

So easy to use. This is the simplest app I have used. You download and start using it immediately. Great for sharing what the temperature is at home and then sharing it with friends and family around the world. Love it love it love it!

Disappointed and Frustrated with WesthershotPro. I initially purchased the full version of WesthershotPro, and it was a seamless experience. However, ever since the company rolled out a new subscription-based app, the quality of the original has significantly deteriorated. It’s clear that the company intentionally sabotaged the app I paid for, making it almost unusable and constantly prompting to shift to the new subscription model. While I understand the need for businesses to evolve and adapt, compromising the integrity of a product that loyal customers have already invested in is downright unfair and a questionable business practice. I expected better from a company I once held in high regard. Very unhappy customer.

Irritating ad pop up to purchase PRO version. This app isn't bad in terms of posting the weather in your current location. Except the highly irritating way it automatically adds about 4/5 hashtags to your post on Facebook alongside your weather posting. I hate that. And I keep getting pop up reminders for the weather, and to try and turn it off in the Settings doesn't quite work. In fact trying to in check anything in the settings is impossible because each time u try, u get a pop up box urging you to buy the PRO version. So essentially u can't alter the settings. So not such a user friendly app.

Too much notifications and ads. Great app which says what it does but it has makes too many notifications which are annoying as hell and too many advertisements for a paid app for their associated apps (eg. Insta place). Quality of photos run thru app are also significantly tinted and stepped down.

Great weather app. I love this app. I use it almost daily. I have also got several o my friends into it. Cheers & keep up the good work with the weather pic app 💛

Limited setting changes. Have had a previous version which either knew I wasn't in the US so it was actually winter here, not summer, or it let me change the season (without paying for extra skins). Wouldn't rate it or recommend it.

Not user friendly.. About to delete this app. Everything points towards buying premium. Nothing simple about it. Not user friendly at all.

How unfortunate. I loved the old app. Why? I love anything to do with weather. Contacted support when tried to pay for premium for ‘new’ app via old app prompts. Money was taken but no premium features. Asked support if payment could be moved to new app which I had downloaded as well and have been told ‘it can’t be done’ .... Um.... are the 2 apps not developed by same developer? The only reason I am leaving issue as a review is if you don’t finalise your comment in contact us when they have answered, you can’t go back into ‘contact us’ to resend or follow up... needless to say, I hope that my subscription payment hopefully will help fix these bugs, seeing as I can’t use the premium features and I will have to find a new app.

No longer great. Just deleted the app, it used to be good.

Disapointed. Used to have InstaWeather Pro wich I loved so much. The app was no longer supported so they updated me to this app. So much less choices, less simple designs (emojis everywhere) and I would have to pay again to not have the watermark of the app on my pictures. Very disappointed.

Way too expensive for what you get!. I used to have this app in the early days, but the yearly price has almost doubled in 4 years! I can no longer afford it on my now fixed income lifestyle. Too bad as it was a pretty cool way to share the weather at my location.

Pretty Good!. I really like this app. I only wish it had a "feels like" or "windchill" option as well. Especially when it's -33, but "feels like" -50 with the windchill factor. Then it would be awesome for when I post it on FB, so my friends can see how ridiculously cold it gets in the prairies in Canada!! Jokes. Good little app! Highly recommend it though!

Unbelievable. Its a 0. Was a dedicated WeatherShot Pro user and loved it but this is WAY to expensive. Why does every developer think their app should be on a subscription model??? This is clearly a 1 time purchase and not a monthly fee. Change it up and you might keep some users

Weathershot. It’s a subscription app and no app is worth $25.00 a year.Subscrition service is just a money grab for apple. i am quite aware of the free version, but it is lousy in comparison to the pro version in the app I originally paid for.

Greedy app developers make paid for apps unusable.. 8/8/21 update: Still a terrible app and thieves. Don’t give them any money, they will. It deliver what they promise. Zero stars. Original review: Terrible app. There are so many better weather apps. Don’t pay them money, they will take it then disable the app. I purchased the WeatherShotPro app years ago to use the app without watermarks. For awhile now I noticed the app was no longer working even though I paid for it. When I reached out to find out the issue, they developers asked enough questions (including proof i paid for the pro app) but the only answer they could provide me was they converted the pro app to a subscription based model. They had no recourse for my paid app to work and told me instead pay the subscription to get the features I already paid for. This is simply a money grab and the 5-star app I purchased is now worth zero stars. I asked them to give me a free subscription or refund the money I paid them before. Their response was they couldn’t do any of that. Beware of these crooks. Don’t download, let alone PAY for any app they create. Not worth it. Zero stars! Response to developer: I’m sorry but that isn’t true. The app I have is called actually called WeatherShotPro which should be the pro version of whatever app you have put there now. Admit you designed a busted app and refused to grandfather me I to the “new” app because you now want to charge a subscription instead of a one time price. I sent you screenshots of what I purchased and you refuse to uphold your end of the deal. Zero stars. 2nd response to developer: I never purchased any app called Instaweather. I sent you a screenshot so stop with the lies. The app I purchased was WeatherShotPro, the same name as the app you have up now, so I should still have access to what I paid for. Conflicted. This app's output is gorgeous. Why 2 stars? The app asked me to rate it with a popup dialog, immediately after another ad popped up while I was swiping through the available design skins, tricking me into tapping on the ad. There are so many ads flying furiously through and across the top this app, it's extremely difficult to actually use. I'm not sure where all of these 5 star reviews are coming from—maybe they haven't spent more than a few minutes with it. And sure, the results look good, and the paid "Pro" version would solve the prime irritation of this one, but when a developer doesn't seem to understand how annoying they are in the first place, and may be pushing phony reviews, why would I trust/pay them? It's too bad there's no real competition in this exact niche.

Great app for capturing weather. I used another app for a long time that captured weather details with the photo. They stopped updating that one and I found this one. Seems like a great app with a lot of cool features.

Privacy Intrusion: Tries to steal all photos. STOP BEGGING us to give you access to all photos every time we open the app! And why is it so hard to find a theme with just Temperature, Wind, Humidity, Country and Date?

Awesome Apps. It is helpful to know the temperature of weather and it shows exact where you are. I love to able to take picture along with city and temperature.

Great Application. I personally love using this application. It's great how you can share a photo with the local weather information of where you are located.

You can't post to Instagram or save to camera roll because this isn't the full version. Too many bugs and ads. It's a nice app, I do enjoy my pictures to post only to Facebook and Twitter. I can't post it to Instagram or save to my camera roll. I would have to purchase the full version of it. I'm not going to do that it's not worth the $1.99 I would still have bugs and all those annoying adds. I just save my pictures from Facebook and add them to my camera roll then to Instagram.

Lots of likes in insta but advertisement in the app is really distracting.. It's a very nice app, love it. Especially when post in Instagram which can lead to many likes. But one thing which I really annoyed is the advertisement in your app. It's nice if there is no advertisement on it if this app is reupdate. I still give it as a 5 star app. KEEP IT UP!! :)

Fun app. It's always fun to see a pic with graphics on it. I'm not sure the temp is right but it would be fun to have other info like how weather apps sometimes tell u it's 30 degrees but feels like 35 or something like that because that's how it feels like in Singapore when the sun beats down in the afternoons!

Great Concept - Has Potential. This is a great concept especially when you are on vacation. Have to agree with other reviews that the app is slow and freezes which can be frustrating. The share component should be faster or it should automatically save it to your camera roll. Looking forward to updates addressing these know issues. Try it out...

Love!. Love how you can set your own picture and not some generic photo. It's quick to start up and I've never had any problems using it.

Incorrect time. App doesn’t know where I live, so time is incorrect

Inaccurate weather. This app would be great if the weather was accurate for the photo. First I wanted to take a photo if the snow coming down in Nashville, but the weather data didnt mention snow. Then I wanted to take a photo of a torrential downpour, and the app labels it light rain. Not as fun if the weather report isnt matching what's in the photo

Love this but.... I absolutely love this app! My only wish is that I could change words on the skins besides just the location because I would love to have a day planner skin without party or bar at the 9 o'clock hour...it's a Tuesday and even though I'm in college Tuesday night is not a party night.

The English version doesn't installed successfully, but charged my credit card 3 times already. As the subject, when I used the setting to apply for a English version, it asked my credit card information, once all confidential data was fulfilled, the application screen shown the information of credit card is wrong then I redo to make sure each step proceed is correct, again, it shown WRONG INFORMATION, I repeated once again to make sure each single input is very correct, BUT, it still shown WRONG INFORMATION, I have no reason to try it any more and decided to give up. YET I got a email message that the application software had billed my credit card 3 times for each single amount US$0.99 next day, that mean all INPUT DATA WAS CORRECT, although it's small value of loss BUT it's a cheating technical in the way. These days I was too busy to deal with it, please the programming to check this application software, I'll and should not pay for it since the ENGLISH VERSION ISN'T INSTALLED TO MY IPHONE EVENTUALLY. Hoping to get your prompt reply. Thank you.

Great app!!. I love sharing pictures of the weather report, along with pictures of what's happening outside. It will be nice to look back at my library and see what the weather was like near my home :)

In-App purchase cannot be Purchased in U.S.. I tried the free Instaweather app and thought it pretty cool but didn't appreciate the Instaweather stamp in the upper right corner, so I decided to buy Instaweather Pro app so I could remove it. I really liked the pro version and thought the weather/time was a neat detail to add to photos-- the various layouts were a pretty decent selection as well. I was pretty happy with my purchase and would've rated it four stars if not for the Pro app being removed from the App Store in the U.S. Without access to the pro app, the Instaweather over stamp is back in the corner and unremovable. After paying for the Pro app, I'm dissatisfied I no longer have access to the Pro version.

Change units not possible. Downloaded the app last week and when starting it says: "change units in settings" I go to settings and only shows that I can change the flash and flip the camera, nothing about changing units. Need help!!!!!

In love with this app❣. Thoroughly enjoyed the basic app when I first downloaded it onto my phone. Now with the bells and whistles it's even more exciting to share what's going on while I'm away at University. Especially love the animated video feature! I'm currently in an area where there's lots of rain and thunderstorms the weather can seriously be bipolar. Being able to post current weather conditions weather on my way to class or training or via makes it exciting to show others what's going on!

Good little app. I enjoy using this app to make Instagram posts occasionally. You can take a photo or use one you have, then use one of the many weather overlays. Well made.

End of an Era. I am deleting the WeatherShot app after years of being a member. The earliest picture I could find in my storage using the app was 2014, and I’ve been a paid member since that option came out. I used the same overlay style 99.5% of the time, sometimes posted pics to the community but mostly shared them with my family, on my Instagram, or used them on my MapMyRun cover photos. I enjoyed the badges but they weren’t a huge motivation for me. When the price increase recently came up, I decided that, to me, $40 a year was just too much. I thought I’d stay on as free user, though, and maybe re-evaluate after a while. Today, I went in to take an evening photo. First screen, that annoying “join and pay!” screen. Okay, that’s fine, I knew I’d see that kind of thing if I let my subscription lapse. But then…that ONE overlay that I use, pretty much the ONLY one I use? Available only to members. My heart broke a little bit as I stood there on my walk, contemplating if that one overlay was worth $40 a year, when I don’t really utilize any of the other paid features. And my conclusion was…No. I don’t usually write reviews, and I was tempted to just delete the app quietly and move on, but since I’ve been with you for so long, I thought it was only fair to let you know why I’m leaving. Thank you for a great app, but the cost is just too much for me. You might consider tiers of subscription, perhaps. I would have gladly kept on paying $20 annually for say, “use the ten most popular overlays” without getting all the other perks. So, WeatherShot, I supported you for a good long time, but now it’s time to part ways. Best of luck to you going forward, and I hope that those who do use more aspects of the app, the stickers and community and so forth that I never really got into, will continue to support your efforts.

No support. I will revise my review after the problem is solved. The app shows the weather and name of a major city 25 miles away from me, not the city where I am. I tried to contact the developer, but when I clicked on Contact Us from within the app itself, it opened an email with no To address. You can't send an email without an address. Then I looked in the app store, and clicked on app support. It took me to a website that talked about putting my pictures on a map. Again, no way to contact the developer. Other than that, it seems like it would be fun if it were accurate. Otherwise, what's the point?

Won't work with internet connection!. It is simple and easy to share some instant photo and location information with your friend. But be careful, it won't work without any internet connection! That means while you travel outside your data plan, you won't use it to take any picture sand share later! Sad.

Weathershot Pro moved to subscription. As is the case with many app, great when it was free. This app is not. Look elsewhere unless you are willing to subscribe to payment plan.

Many bugs. Before my phone update it was easy to use and post. Now it has many bugs so II hardly use it. I take pictures and it cuts off and I lose my chance to take a photo. When tried to take a photo with my regular camera and attach it post to my photo sideways

Great app with room for improvements. Interesting app. It is not that easy to create a good composition in a square format, this app however, can fill up part of the framing area so that we can focus on the rectangular area that we are so used to. I do wish that this app can give me the option of selective focus or macro focus. Also, another reason I didnt give it a five star is b/c it would crash on me from time to time

Lives up to its name. A great app that posts the weather and your location in several layouts to choose from. Its loaded with ads, so be careful, think before you click! :)

Deleting due to offensive language. This app works fine but recently I started noticing pop up notifications that included language I personally find offensive. The developer should be professional enough to not need to use profanity! So if you don't care about foul language, have fun as this app works great but if you want to keep profanity out of your life and out of your children's lives then skip this app!

ok for now. Does the trick. Wish: 1. more screens were unlocked 2. could somehow store location and weather of a certain snapshot ---- so that posting weather wasn't based on present location. (useful when hiking out of coverage area and returning to signal)

Love the concept but way too buggy 👎. This app crashes more often than it works causing me to start it 3 or 4 times to use. Many problems include: too slow to find location which is usually wrong then crashes when it "allows" me to choose another. When selecting a photo from the gallery, app usually crashes; it works much better if you take a new photo. Lastly, the ads usually appear very quickly just as I am about to select something which starts Safari causing me to start all over again when I get back to this app. 👎👎👎👎😁😁😁😁😁

Ehhh. Fun app but limited customization. Also, when you post it to IG with the tags it automatically adds, it causes a bunch of bots to automatically "like <3" it less than a second after posting. (A lot of annoying notifications) I suggest removing the non-essential tags. Cheers.

Fun and a perfect addition.... For those of us who like to share (Instagram, twitter, etc etc) this is such a great app to have. I will be upgrading to the paid version soon! (This is an updated review, as some issues have been fixed with today's update)
