Not all waterways are the same. We work hard with our mapping provider Fishing Hot Spots® to provide premium mapping on the most popular waterways in North America and we've now made it easier than ever to find those waterways. Can't find premium mapping for your waterway? Let us know using the new in-app feedback form located on the Fishidy App Settings screen.
I've had premium for over a year now. Generally, the app is useful. I've used it in Michigan and Florida. Topographical maps are great. It'd be nice if there was an outline of public shore access, but maybe I'm asking too much. I also wish there was a display of water temperature. Like any user-reported app, it relies on a strong user base to populate catch results. In this regard, it's /okay/. I absolutely have to knock a star off because premium members still get ads, which is ridiculous.
The detailed mapping is very helpful when my go to spots are not working or I'm on a new body of water. I also like to log my catches quickly and then use the website later to fill in all the details. Love the social features as well.
You can't add a spot or fish catch at the exact location on the map. Just the body of water it was caught on. Absolute junk
Part of FishingCrew merger, took away my "premium" membership, won't return emails, and when did, said they'll add me to a Newsletter to answer my question. Been a month, no newsletter. Fishidy's interface basic compared to FishingCrews application. Can't select my followers, no back button feature, makes you restart search. Has features, however, staff doesn't seem to set the customers above their own. I foresee a delete and search for new app or just stop sharing. Shame they bought FishingCrew, excellent app and community of people.
Tried to write this 3 times.. Downloaded this app, was charged $12.99 for no reason. Complete rip off.
Ok well this is easily the worst app ever. It's hard to use and no one ever sees your catches. I have fishing crew and it puts this trash app to shame. They should just delete it's pointless waste of space on my phone I can say I haven't seen a more awful app in my career where there is no users or point to it. They need to get rid of it or get more users and make it more simple for other users it turns people away. This app is just bad and something must be done
Wont even work right. Freezes and closes. Waste of tike
Paid the $49.00 annual fee and low and behold...online I am premium but on App I'm just basic...so no premium features work on iPhone/iPad App.
As an avid fisherman, I love the concept. The app however, needs a lot of work. iPad version is lame. Just resized from iPhone. Broader and deeper content (tips, history, etc...). Lake maps refresh at painfully slow speeds when resizing. App crashes a lot. Navigation and UX is not intuitive.
The app worked great on my s6 edge. But i recently went to apple and this app is not living up to its other versions. The lakes wont update. No notification. I see new catches in the lakes i subbed to. But when i log in i see plenty more. I have a 6s plus. Please help. Is there a beta i can use because this used to be part of my life as far as hobbies go. But now i dont have places to see what everyone else is catching
Poor info and no easy way to get out! They keep charging you!
Great app for enhancing your fishing experience through low impact technology. I use Fishidy every time I'm on the water for navigation as well as cataloging successful locations, conditions and presentations. It's even useful on lesser known waters that don't have contour maps because you can plot "catches" and "spots" on satellite image maps. (This might be my favorite feature.) I also use the fishing hot spots points of interest for help on unfamiliar waters or to take a shot at a new structure on my local lakes. It is important to make sure your gps is working properly on your phone or tablet to get the most out of Fishidy. Overall very good piece of tackle!
This is a good idea it just doesn't have enough people using it for tips and stuff.
I got this app because I fish and this app is very resourceful, it contains stuff about fish and stuff 9.6/10 would recommend to friend
I fish freshwater purchased it today spent 10 bucks for the monthly fee. I got NOTHING of use Google maps shows me 10 fold more info. I want my $ back
It has helped me in fishing situations
The setup is sad. No good in Illinois, very limited.
Dont even bother downloading this. O just wasted 30 seconds of my life and burned 15 calories that i will never get back!
None of the lakes I look at anywhere in the country have contour lines. The website provides very little information without signing up for a $10 monthly subscription. Seems shady.
Contour maps and a fish logging system. Exactly what I was looking for.
