Excellent App. Love this app. Multi clients time keeping and billing. Very easy to keep time for everyone separately. Can time into to invoice and email quickly. Love the clock in, clock out....don't even have to think about it.

Was great until it stopped syncing!. This app was the perfect app for years but then suddenly it stopped syncing across devices. I only noticed this after submitting an invoice to my client and realizing after the fact that I had days of work missing. I found the missing days on my other device. When I contacted support they sent me a link for a refund. I suppose they have just given up. Too bad. UPDATE: now the email invoice function completely stopped functioning, customer support info leads to nowhere, backup and restore IP address returns a server can’t be found error message .... looks like they just ghosted all their customers...

Good for tracking daycare hours. I use it to track the hours I keep my kid at daycare. I clock in and out as I drop off or pick up. It has a nice invoicing feature that automatically calculates overtime. I'm happy with it. I would like to see the ability to creat more complicated rules. For example, I would like to set a rule that if I clock out more than 15 minutes after the hour, that it would just round up to the next hour. It gets a full 5 stars from me because they made a full pro version that I was able to buy directly from the App Store (as opposed to an in app purchase), allowing my family to use it without additional purchases.

Update. Very urgent need to update on ios13.2. The application does not open. I can not send an invoice for the work done

Can't email invoice. Is a great app but cant email invoice. Please someone answer to this, i need it urgent! Edit- One needs to have the apple mail app set up in order to send invoices.

Developers Don't Respond. Had the free version of this and liked it. Paid for this version and it's 100% identical. It's a rip off. Also, try contacting the developer or going to their site. There's no mention of this app at all, like they're trying to forget about it. I'd suggest finding a new app before all your reports and invoices are lost forever.

Owner Judy Fenner. Extremely Disappointed in NO customer support. Upgrading has caused issues that I would like to work out. Wish there was a section for materials used on the job. Other than that I like the app 2022- just changed phones. Won’t recognize my email or password. I’ve had this app for 9 years. 9 years of customers lost.

Don't Buy! Deleted all my data. The latest update, to version 3.4.2, cleared all of my data. The update stated "Minor bug fixed," and nothing more. Little did I know that after the updater, I would need a user login! I openned the app after updating, and none of my timesheets and invoices were there! Appxy hasn't replied to my emails. The developers site doesn't list this app. There is no support.

Cannot send invoice or send email to support. I used to use ours keeper and haven’t used it for a while and recently started to try to do some billing again. I have an invoice that I simply cannot send. The send word is grayed out. Nor can I send an email to app support for the same reason. So then I got ours keeper pro thinking that would make a difference and it makes no difference at all. I cannot get in touch with the app people for any kind of support and I’m very frustrated especially now that I’ve paid to have pro. I sent an email from my regular email to what I think is a support email address but have received no response.

Was great.. This app was great while it was working. After upgrading my iPhone - app requires login. I use my credentials and get errors, like other reviews on here. The developer is non-responsive, i would have to assume that it is because they have developed newer apps that do the same thing via a subscription, so they’ve turned their backs on older customers. You know… the ones that actually funded them to create the newer apps. Now - there is no way to use this app going forward. Apple should just remove it at this point and ban this developer for life.

As advertised!. This has been a great tool for me to organize all of my freelance jobs!

Feature request. Please add options to export invoices other that email!

Hours keeper. I want to create an account but it doesn’t give me the option only lets me sign up or sign in and I never created an account

Keeps me organized. I've never bought an app before. . And I spent the $7 for this one ! So worth it , helps me keep track of my hours & milage , now I'm never losing out on my hard earned money

Programam stopped working. Program not working. It doesn’t even open the application and I had paid for this version.

Syncing between multiple devices. I have a new issue where entries from my iPhone 7 are not syncing with my iPad. This feature was working flawlessly since 2014, but has stopped about a week ago. I toggled the “sync now” button on and off and tried syncing manually on both devices and it didn’t fix itself. I contacted the developer about a week ago, but I haven’t heard even a generic response yet. I’d hate to move on to another app, especially with four years of date, but maybe it’s time to start looking.

Was great. This app was great. I used it for about 2 years with the paid version and then updated my phone to the new iOS. The app no longer recognizes my account and I am not able to access it. I have tried resetting my password several times and it never sends me an email or link to do so. I have over $1,000 in hours that I now have no access to.

Just bought this. The fact that they did an update 5 years ago tells that this app is absolute a waste of money and time, i just ask for my refound an hour after purchasing this app. Thoght it could do better after selling it for $30 bucks but nope.

Pretty good solution. I am 100% travel and often find myself working inconsistent shifts and hours. This app really helps me track my activities in the week.

Can't Login. After using this app for more than two years, it now won't allow me to login. It says 'there is no user with that email in the system'. So naturally I tried every other email I have ever had. Nope. No can do. So what do I do now? All my tax information is located in the system. Otherwise, this has been a great app until now.

Swindled. I bought this app back a few years back. Paid real money for it. Now app cannot be used at all maybe because they change to subscription mode. How is that my problem. It’s like buying a car from the dealer, paying it off and the dealer changing the terms of the sale to a lease.

Need help. Just got new phone and app will not work

Few issues with newest version. 1. Why can't I create an invoice without jobs? Often I need to invoice clients for a piece of hardware or recurring monthly charge. To accomplish this I have to change the hourly to $0.00 and clock a minute of time. Then add it to the invoice with the hardware. How hard is it to NOT require the job? 2. All of a sudden I can't email an invoice out. Ugh. All in all I love the app. Please keep supporting and improving

Excellent. I bought this app because it would sync between devices. In my case my iPhone and iPad. Works great!

No app support. I love Hours Keeper Pro but it will not sync between my iPhone and iPad. Both have iOS 12.1 installed. The app developer website doesn’t list this app for support and there is no contact info. Never seen an app this good with so little info online. I’ll change my review to 5 stars if the developer will contact me and answer my sync problems!

Discontinued. I used this for years and then just like that they discontinued it. All data lost. Very poor planning. A simple email would have saved me hours of trying to reconstruct time entries. And the replacement is identical except now you pay each month. At least that probably means they won’t drop it without notice.

Suddenly, I cannot open this APP.? Why?. Unless I'm not aware how to do it...I need a method to print my notes for each with the invoice or even on a separate page. The option would make the app perfect for me. I also upgraded to full version but don't see any difference from the lite .

Stopped Synchonizing. Like this app! It is simple to use, and creates an emailable invoice. Problem is that the app stop synchronizing between my iPhone and my iPad. I have uninstalled it, I have reinstalled it. I have requested assistance from the creator three times. I have had no response at all. This is the reason for the low rating

Customer service. I have been locked out of my account and have repeatedly requested password reset. They have responded with apology emails so they obviously have my email, yet refuse to to send a reset link! I can’t access my account and my business DEPENDS on this! It is not a joke for some app developer sitting at a desk somewhere! This is my business and my lively hood and an app I have paid for!!!!! There is no way to get a human in the phone to resolve it! I’m losing money every single day! FIX THIS PROBLEM!

Went from Great to Total Crap. This app was amazing and now the company and Apple has abandoned it. They have no email, their severer doesn’t work and it is so unreliable that it became dangerous to use(meaning you potentially loose all info and that mean loosing money and chances to bill and there customers) Don’t do it, it will cost you time and Money!

can not access account. ... after weeks, still no response from customer support, no help in resetting my password or retrieving my hours worked data … unbelievable lack of service!!! ... After moving to a new iPhone I cannot access my Hours Keeper Pro account anymore. Login attempts fail by timing out. Requests for password resets are unsuccessful (i.e., no response). Emails to customer support remain unanswered after a week. I need to access my account to invoice my clients. I can't afford to lose 3 months of work hour records which have not been billed yet. I liked this program and used it successfully for years. But this is a catastrophic failure. And the silence from customer support is unacceptable. I hope this review gets the developers attention. Please help and send instructions on how to remedy this problem!!!

Apple Watch is missing:(. If this app had a simple button for the watch…. it truly would be a dream come true!

Stopped syncing. Been using couple years with little issues , Stopped syncing on February 15 , 2019 Contacted support couple of times once got generic response no help If I can get a response and resolve can change rating until then one star . Useless if it can’t sync

What the hell happened?!. All the sudden I can't change the dates on any of my invoices. I emailed them 6 times because there's no other way to contact them. Please don't waste your money. It's a matter of time before I lose my data even though I backed it up.

Works as advertised. Solid tool. Works on multiple platforms and the cloud feature saved me when I lost my phone and was still able to retrieve my data on to another device.

LOVE this app. I use this to bill my private care clients. They see how many hours I’m with them weekly, when I’m with them, and I can even make notes of what we do. I print invoices every week for our own references as well.

No improvements, needs work. Great for general hour logging, but invoices look bland. Pictures do not auto scale and text often runs outside of text boxes without auto wrapping. To make things worse you cannot place spaces or periods in phone number fields

Great but disappointed now. Was great till today went to put my time in and can’t even get the app to open get this fix and I will give it 5 stars again uninstalled reinstalled everything is gone and no way to contact these people no email available can’t log in paid for pro want my money back after 6 years and now we have issues so mad right now

Great app until..... Have been using this app for several years and I love it. Keeps track of all my hours but recently I upgraded my phone and now I can’t use the app. I can’t log in, I can’t contact support.

App no longer works. I have been using this app for about four years now. I got a new phone attempted to login and it seems the company has taken down login servers. I have reached out to the company multiple times and have been to their website seems like they no longer exist I would not buy this app!!

Great Program with No Support. I have been using this program since 2014 with minimal issues. The only issue was when they added the login requirement (requiring the user to create an account). It appears they have turned off or not renewed the domain name for the app login (just recently) as I am now unable to run the app or export my critical data. Reached out to developer but received no response. Decided to download a similar app (which appears to be from the same developer) to see if it could/would import my data; no luck. I discovered a similar new app that has an account recovery feature using the same login system as this app. But the account login capability reported the same error (domain not found). Reached out to the developer who stated that this capability is currently inoperative. No estimate as to when it would be fixed. I resorted to manually recovering the application database containing my data, then replacing the same database in the new program (Hours Keeper with updated icon). Data was successfully recovered. Would not recommend this developer or their apps.

Great, but ..... This app has been perfect. It keeps logs of all my hours and produces great professional looking invoices for billing hours to clients. However ...... It has not been updated in over 3 years and is not up to date with the newest iPhones. The user interface is still formatted for the older phones. If not for this then it would get 5 stars. Please update the interface for the new software and phones or I will be forced to hunt for an alternative app.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I have been using this app for several years, then suddenly when the iOS update came in mid November 2020 the app stopped working and I lost my data. I’m a consultant so this was not great. Lost an entire month’s worth of consulting fees. Have emailed the developer several times and have not heard back. Went from extremely happy user to extremely disappointed user.

It’s great, but.... When can we expect an update to support the screen on iPhone X? It is unpleasant to use when it doesn’t fill the screen.

Best time tracker - until it stopped working. I’ve tried lots of hours keeping apps, and this is by far my favorite, but it has stopped working. I don’t know if it’s a compatibility issue because it hasn’t been updated for so long or what, but I am wishing with all my heart that someone will fix it so that it works again. None of the other apps work as well as this one does. Please please please fix this.

Needs A Siri Shortcut!. Are use this app every day to keep track of my hours for my job. I really like this app. It often takes way too many tabs to clock in or out. A Siri shortcut to clock in or out would be incredible. Please add this feature!

Not syncing between iPad and iPhone. When it works it’s great, but sometimes it just breaks. It either syncs or - worse - pretends to sync but does not have most recent numbers. Yeah, this can lead to mistakes in billing - hence the single lousy star rating. Funky interfaces I can handle, but missing / corrupted data is another thing! Deleting and reinstalling the app does not restore the correct data, either. I now take screen shots of the invoice page on the iPad as a safeguard. Backing up and restoring from the cloud is a major headache, to the point where it’s easier to just re-enter your data. Why the app can’t just handle this in a user friendly way is a total mystery. A billing app like this needs to be rock solid, bulletproof, consistent and easy to make incremental backups and restores. Not there yet!

Unable to access. Just replaced my phone and now I can’t log into the app. Wouldn’t allow me to reset password or even create another account. I’ve emailed the support team but no response. I paid a lot to use the business app and this is what I get in return.

Was 5 but now 0. Worked very well for few years but now I can no longer access anything. Developers who stop supporting their apps without providing a method to extract existing data should be barred from the Apple store indefinitely. Apple should also share in this responsibility, after all all applications go threw your approval/review process. Trust is a hard thing to earn and the easiest thing to lose.

Nicely done. This is a well done app-works well and has good features - I particularly like the easy drop box sync that means all my devices automatically update and get in sync every time I run the app.

Great. Fulfill my requirement

BUYER BEWARE!!!!. This is clearly an unfinished product. I bought this app on faith that they had returned it to its former glory. The first version of Hours Keeper was spot on. It kept my work hours wonderfully then the developers decided to change it and it was ruined. After I contacted the app developers they promised that the app was being reworked and this appears to be what they offered. This new version of the app calculates all your hours incorrectly and for a previous weeks work time of 37 hours it calculated my hours into the thousands! Right now I am unable to clock off from work and the badge count remains on and the hours are ticking over even though it shows I have clocked off!! This app is no good!!! I have contacted the developers as requested in their app help page before leaving this review but never heard back. But this app and you will be throwing away your money.

New update. I hate the new update. Before in the calendar in view screen the hours were in blue, it was a lot easier to see it. Now it's all so hard to see the colours are light grey, just make you see everything smudged all washy washy. Specially when you are older our vision also is not as well. Please consider all age group. Please change the colours back to blue or make us choose our own colours. Thanks

Very Impressive App. I manage a retail store with 5 employees. I'd been using paper time sheets for a long time and desperately needed to update my system. I've recently moved into hours keeper and couldn't be happier. It's by far the best option out there (I did a substantial amount of research before downloading) and hasn't let me down yet.

Easy. * Easy to put in front of my keyboard and keep track of all clients times. * Easy to email report to Xero and attach to invoices (would love it to integrate) * Easy to add details

Great. Very handy app

Time and a half (1.5x) calculations are wrong!!!. I really like this app. It's simple and easy to use. The problem I have is with it's calculation of 1.5x ( time and a half) overtime. The app has calculated my 1.5 overtime incorrectly on all my invoices which almost cost me dearly if not for my wife who goes over the invoices with proper calculator. Please fix this problem and check 2x ( double time while you're at it.

Sole Trader. I've been using this app for about 6 months with only one of my clients. It's a good basic app. Worth the money. It need a few changes to make life easier. Things like auto start and finish for the regular hours. (I keep forgetting to start it). I recommend giving it a go for sure.

Great software till it stopped working on ios13. I had been using this software to keep track of my work hours. It was a fantastic apps with clean interface and minimal of what I require. Been using it for years, but it stopped working when I upgraded to ios13 recently. Oh well, the apps had not been updated for the last 2years, so I guess is time too look for alternatives.

I searched for and tried many apps similar to this one and this one is the BEST by far. I would have been embarrassed to send the time sheet from the other apps to my employer but am PROUD to send my hours using this app. A big thank you to the team that made this-perfect for what I need it for.

Great. Love using it Would like to be able to add costs of job eg materials

Perfect for professional billing. I use this for my freelance consulting business. I can add new clients, and set an hourly rate. I then log the hours (with optional description of work done). At the end of the contract, I can make a PDF of the timesheet with all the information on one page. Makes it very quick, easy and transparent.

It’s OK, but invoicing.. I have purchased the Pro version of this app, which isn’t an improvement over free app. While it is good for basic time tracking, the features are lacking in convenience. I have received no responses from support. The invoicing feature of this app isn’t very useful or convenient. The invoice layout is awkward and unalterable. It doesn’t have fields for basic, essential infomation that are standard for proper, legal invoices (in my country). The app would be great if it would set up an invoice that I can send directly to my employers but as it is, I must manually enter the information on a desktop document. It would also be an improvement to have a feature that timed break-times. This said, I do use it to keep track of my work times.

Won't open.. Every time I try to get into the app it keeps shutting down. Pls fix asap. Other then that it's great. Just please fix this issue.

The calendar is out. Great app apart from the calendar on the app being out by one day. The app shows Wednesday the 13th of November 2012. The correct date is Wednesday the 14th of November 2012. My Ipad shows the correct date so I cant work out the problem?

Hours Keeper Pro. Great little tool for business owners. Easy to use and great for invoicing

Keep a track on hours. I know that I work hard, but haven't really kept tabs on it. I have been using this app to keep a tab on hours spent on different projects. I have also been adding specific details so that I know exactly which part of the project I have been working on. Although, I can't actually invoice anyone, I have set a modest dollar amount to my work to give it a hypothetical value. So far seems like a very useful and user friendly productivity app.

Time keeping. Great for keeping track of jobs, lost a lot of time relying on diary, paid for itself on first job.

Brilliant app. Before this I was using a notepad, this keeps better track of exact hours and what was done. I actually billed for 3 hours I had forgot about.

It stuffed. I have lost all my clients and hours and I can not get in to set it up why do you have to stuff up a good app bring back the old app I will have to go back to writing it in a book.

I can’t sign in hours keeper anymore.. I sent an email to support I instantly got a reply back that my message was blocked

Stopped working. Was working great until I got a new phone, now it won’t allow me to log in. Fix it!

Exactly As Advertised. I work for several different clients at any one time. I can add a block of time to any client's invoice with a couple clicks, and if I forget I can go back and add one in, along with notes to remind me what I did.

Perfect App. Has everything I need to keep track of my hours and submit my reports.

Ver basic usage is good. I use this as a time calculator rather than a billing app. As a shift worker the hours differential is hard to work out. I use multiple clients to work out what is owed so I do not bother to invoice through this app. However working out the timing is good.

The app is not usable.. “A server with the host name cannot be found”. You can’t sign in or create an account. You’ll spend $39.99 and receive nothing. The app is broken. Don’t buy.

This is a good app. I would say for an on the go guy or girl. Perfect for laymen work.

Hours Keeper. Tested free version for a few days. In the process sent a couple of enquires through the contact form on the app. No replies yet. Purchased the Pro version today. Still have some unanswered questions. Have searched the www for a phone number for Appxy Information Technology Co. Ltd. Waiting for info on how to record a lunch break. Stopping and starting the clock doesn't seem to do it. I'm testing this for a possible purchase of 20 copies but it won't happen unless I hear from them.

Great App!. Great way to log hours, like the ability to make adjustments after entering as well as being able to put notes on dates.

Works great. This app works great for what I need. I like that I can print and email an invoice. Clock in at ... is also a very nice feature. Great app!

It's ok. Works as advertised. The update was good but it took a bit to figure a couple things out I had this app for awhile, it's good. What annoys me is when tech support emails don't get returned, this is just me. I figured the problem out myself. So don't get me wrong it works and usually i find that poking around can find a fix or work around, but I like it when I get a reply, and I didn't. I would like to see a couple changes, and know there is someone at tech support before I give it a full 5 stars. I think that I may want to do more than it does but it does work and it works the way it should. That's important. So if you want to track time on projects or use it for billing projects it's great and I recommend it.

Required to sign up for an account on new phone. I already have been using this PAID app without an account on one phone where I wasn’t required to make an account. I replaced my phone and set up as a new phone and it is now requiring me to sign up for an account which is completely unnecessary for my needs and would create another password I have to keep track of. Even though I have already invested my money in this app I will be looking for an alternative.

Super Wicked Totally Awesome. This app is great, I have used the free version and then upgraded to the pro version and have used it on a regular basis for over a year. My only gripe is not being able to write a note while clocked in. You have to clock out to write a note or description of the work you are doing.

Great app but a little stale. This is a great app, but hasn't seen an update in awhile. It does pretty much everything I need as a contractor and casual employee. It would be great to be able to add notes to an open item on the fly to track what I'm doing during that period. I can't seem to get the overtime over x hours to work, so end up having to add a different period at a different rate. It would also be nice to be able to get a list of non-invoiced entries across clients. These are all things I've sent to the developer without any response at all.

Pretty good. Needs option to add daily overtime after x.x amount of hours. For example, I get daily overtime after 9.5 hours. Not 9. Not 10.

Used this app religiously. Until it crashed!. I used to love it and I guess I relied on it too much because now it has crashed and I can't open the app! I'm too scared to delete it and lose all my data

Export. This app need to work on the export. When I look at a week, I should be able to export my week instead of having to choose the days manually in the export section. Thanks!

Support. I love this app and have used it for the past couple years tracking all my hours for all of my jobs. When it comes to moving it to a new phone I am unable to recover my password or to set it up on my new phone leaving me struggling to track my hours with an app I have already paid for I hope their support comes through but to this point I have not heard back. My one star rating reflects the companies support not the app itself when it’s working.

CSV Export Unusable. I can't give this app more than 3 stars even if its UI is quite good because, where this kind of app becomes useful is when you need to use the data it collects. In this case, exporting a client's entries for a given time period. This app actually formats each entry's time in/out total time as "1h 23m" for exemple. That makes it impossible to make an automated sum of all the entries in Excel for example which a very typical thing to do with this data. It is MUCH more typical and actually useful to format this time as "1.38" which can actually be used by a spreadsheet app. I can never see an instance where formating time in h m would actually be useful to anyone...

RIP OFF DELUXE!!!. I purchased this program years ago - and when it worked it did so beautifully. But, suddenly it stopped, with an error message - something about a host name not found. I tried to get support for this particular problem but was blown off - we don’t support this program any longer…basically “go away”… HOWEVER - my wife, just recently, was able to create an account with Hours Keeper just fine … no problems at all. But of course she had to pay for it…and I STILL get the same bloody message about host names when I try to log in with her credentials. This problem should have been sorted out ages ago…and this, more so than a “review” is a description of a problem associated with this particular program, which should have been addressed ages ago. And although my gal can set up an account with Hours Keeper Pro, I can’t even do that…same goddamn error message…

Good until it loses all your data. I had used this app for over a year and now it has lost all my data and says my server could not be found. What a joke.

Why bying the Pro version?. I used the free version of Hours Keeper for a few weeks and thought it was cool. I decided to buy the Pro version to access more functions. However, I found out that the paid version is exactly the same as the free one. What is this?

Great app. Great way to keep records of your pay, accurate and able to adjust mistakes. You can also send copy of invoice to your email.

Seems to be abandonware. Needed to re-login as syncing seemed to stop working. Now my credentials don’t work. Sent an email to support and nothing came back. Web site for developer no longer has this app listed. Too bad, when it was working it was very useful.

Useless app. Don't think this app's even been tested: when trying to perform as basic a task as setting up a customer, i found numerical data-entry fields, like tax, won't let you overwrite the 0.00 placeholders. Too bad. It looked like it could have been useful... Delete!

Hours Keeper Pro. Was using this app for years (should be Grandfathered by payment for app before monthly/yearly subscription practice). Upgraded my iPhone, backed up and restored. Now my account is not even recognized. This is a disgrace...DO NOT USE THIS APP! At some point in the future you will be screwed and the developer will not help. Not even an auto reply when you try to send developer request for help.

Needs Updating. App has been very useful up until the past year only because it crashes when you hit the print option inside of the invoice tab. Also need to be able to set up email through other service providers (like gmail) and not just the Apple mail app.

Decent app. I'm happing with the App but it still needs a logging feature to store old invoices.

Best One Available. Overall a really great app, especially the invoicing and general UI / organization / usability. I only wish the entries would be listed by a name/title rather than a date & time. It becomes impossible to distinguish between entries that way, especially if you need to have tons of individual entries that only differ by description. If I need to find a particular one to edit, I have to open them one by one.

Great app. I really love this app. Very useful for my needs and helps me to accurately keep my time sheets. I always recommend it to my friends. I would only like to have the option to edit a bit more the invoices, because here in Quebec, Canada, we have two taxes. Being able to add both would be awesome.

Need update for new iOS. Love this app, but today my phone updated to 14.2 and the app will not open anymore, I’ve got my companies billing for the last year stored on this app as well as invoices for clients that need to be sent off. I hope you fix this quickly..

Decent App, But Needs Some Improvements. It’s a solid app for tracking hours for multiple clients. It has some good advanced features for invoicing and the like, however it falls flat in a few key usability areas. First, it needs to be updated to fit modern iPhone screens. Second, and this is the biggest one, the home screen you start on does not have a quick way to get any clocks running. You have to open the menu, go to your client list, then choose your client all before you can even get the clock rolling. For an app whose main feature is the punch clock, they’ve made it difficult to get to. I’d recommend a toggle in the settings for each client that allows you to set them as active or in active. Then from the starting screen have a button that says Clock In, which pops up a list of all active clients for you to pick from. Pick one and your clock is instantly running. No having to navigate away from a useless landing page to dig through menus to do what the entire point of having this app in the first place is trying to accomplish. Please fix this.

WORST HOUR KEEPERS APP. IT WAS 5 stars UNTIL THIS LAST UPDATE WHEN IT ERASED 4 YEARS OF DATA. NOW I LOST ALL MY TIME SHEETS FOR EVERYONE. Disgusting. I emailed them and they can't even receive it because their inbox is full. This is downright disgusting for a paid app that people trust their financial life to.

Bad customer service. I started using this app almost a year ago. I work as an in-home therapist and have slightly different pay rates for each of my clients. I wanted to keep track of the hours spent at each house as well as my travel. This app was fantastic in helping me do so, allowing me to keep track of differing pay periods and pay rates. However, about a month ago the app started crashing before it would completely open. I tried contacting support but to no avail. I ended up having to delete the app and all of its data off of my phone and then reinstall it. That seems to have worked, but I have lost all the data I accumulated while using it.

App crashes in iOS 13. I updated to iOS 13, and now I can’t get into the app. It crashes each time. I have no way to retrieve hours worked so I can bill them.

Version 3.4, An unmitigated disaster. 1.) Next to "Clock in" and "Clock out," there used to be buttons called "Clock in at" and "Clock out at." This was invaluable because many times I wouldn't remember to clock in at the exact moment I needed to and this feature allowed me to enter the exact clock-in time when it was fresh in my mind and easy to remember. Now, I have to clock in and clock out and then go back and fix the times with an extra step after I've forgotten the exact time. The removal of this feature is unconscionable. 2.) The fonts used throughout the app are now ridiculously small or they are in a typeface or color that is difficult to read. Before the big update, they used to be legible with a quick glance. Now, they require me to stop, focus in and squint in order to see them. 3.) The app launches to the "dashboard," the least useful screen in the app. To clock in, I must select the upper left menu, then "clients," then the client I want, and _finally_ "clock in." That's four clicks EVERY time I want to do something. Dear developer: please put away your pride and give us the old version back. This is a disaster. 😕

Good app. I cant tell the difference between pro and free

Good app with some limitations. This app makes keeping time with multiple starts and stops easy. The ability to also computer the pay for the hours is a plus as well as the ability to change the start and stop times. Transferring data from the lite to the full version is very easy, but is a one time option without erasing all data on the full version. Apparently no automatic back-up of data to iCloud or the linked computer. There is a manual back-up and restore process, that is somewhat convolulted. I did not even try to do the manual back-up concerned about losing all the data I have in the process. The app has some limitations which I did not see in the description. 1 - there is no syncing across devices. Each device is independent in its hours tracking capability. The manual back-up and restore is suppose to work across devices, but erases all data on the restored device in the process. 2 - only viewable in portrait on the iPhone. Not a big problem, just unusual. 3 - only viewable in landscape on the iPad. More of a problem since every utility app I've used allows viewing in all orientations. If you will only use the app on one device and don't mind not having the data backed up for you, it works well.

update is terrible - was a great app before. i used to LOVE this app and would recommend it to everyone I know. Then update happen today and it's terrible, extremely hard to navigate, just all-around not user-friendly anymore and I'm not even sure i'll be able to keep using it - so disappointing because i literally use this app every day and its hardly even recognizable from what it was before. everything is harder to read, takes more clicks and is visually less understandable. also why did they take away "clock in at" and "clock out at" which made it very easy to keep track of time if i forgot to clock in or out at the actual time i was working. now i have to go in deeper and edit the entry which takes way more time and clicks. i have no idea why they would make these changes and i'm hoping there is a way to go back to the old version. 😩 very sad. plus the reports graphs are now all similar shades of blue so its really hard to actually see which client is which. also a typo on "overtime" it says "overtiome" which doesnt matter but makes it feel like they didnt think this update through very well

Love this. I absolutely love this app... I use it every day. I like how it keeps record of your pay, your hours worked, it also give you the option to make an invoice. I do have a few suggestions... Because not a lot of us know the tax % that our state takes out maybe add in the states so that it automatically takes the percentage and adds that in. Also for my job we get paid differently after a certain time and it doesn't give the option to change pay after certain hours for overtime employees. Other than those two things I find this app very helpful and accurate. When I get my paycheck stubs in the mail it is pretty much within a dollar or two different. Awesome app. Great way to keep track of your money.

Abandoned. After over 7 years of timesheets logged into this app, I was forced to reinstall app after upgrade to iOS 14. Now, I can’t log in or recover any of my data. Very sad.

Better than most, almost perfect. I think I've tried out almost all of the timekeeping apps out here, and I found this one to be the simplest to use but still provide the features I need. I like that it has different views for daily, weekly (pay period) and client totals. It's easy to clock in/out, adjust time and add manual entries. I can also use it on my iPad as well as iPhone, plus a computer backup feature. It would be absolutely perfect except for two things: 1: there is no pausing the clock (I do like the "break" feature, but if you pause multiple times you have to add up the time yourself) and 2: you can't set up separate "tasks" or "projects" for each client. For example, I have to track admin tasks vs. development tasks separately for one of my clients. Another example is doing multiple projects for a single client that I want to track separately. Right now I'm using the Info/notes space for that, but I have to go into the entry to see what it's for. Other than that, this is the best and easiest timekeeper app out there!

Pretty good. Needs more features. This app is great for tracking hours for billing clients but is missing a few features. The biggest thing missing is a minimum billing amount. Like requiring a minimum payment of a full hour of payment even if only 35 minutes were worked. The rounding up or down is great but it might be useful to have options that round either up or down to the closest increment rather than only up or only down. Lastly it would be great to have buttons to clock out and back in for break rather than manually adding in a break time or having two items listed from stopping the time and starting again.

Good App but needs a few updates.. I am an electrician and this app has really helped me in keeping track of different jobs and hours for those different jobs. Three things that need to be addressed before this can be a five star app: 1. There needs to be an option for setting the pay period/work week. My week starts on Tuesday and ends the following Monday. I'd like to see total hours for custom pay periods like 7 days, 14 days, half month, and whole month. 2. There needs to be a setting for a daily lunch break or breaks that automatically deducts from a day. That way if I work at one job all day, I can Clock In at 7, Clock Out at 3:30 and have 8 hours with my 30 min lunch already figured. Also the break time of day should be adjustable (30 min @ 11:30.) 3. Last, there are still issues with the hours not adding up correctly. Most of the time I have to go back and fix my hours manually. It is sporadic so it's hard to say what triggers it. Also it would be nice if there was an option for the clock in and out times to round to the nearest whole. Other than that this app has been the best of its kind.

Lost my data. Have been using for years and it suddenly turned off and I have lost a year of data. No response from developer???

Lost It’s Functionality. The last two updates have destroyed what used to be a lifesaver of an app. I’ve used the app for over a year and have loved it, using it every day and recommending it to other freelancers. Now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone-- even if it were free! While the interface of the app has mostly remained the same, the new report diagram colors and fonts have made it awfully unappealing and difficult to use. Different shades of blue makes it harder to differentiate between clients. Bring back the rainbow of colors to make it easier to look at in a glance. But what has been the biggest issue of all is that the update has replaced the clients' name under the day widget with the hours logged. Now I have to spend an ungodly amount of time searching through dozens of clients to see who logged those times. The old function of clicking on a client and seeing the hours spent with them is much more practical.

Unable to contact support. Trying to create/change the password. Server keeps timing out. Contacted apple and they are unable to help either

Disappointed. More and more frustrated by this app. While its most basic functionality works pretty well, as soon as you branch out into features it all crumbles down. Invoicing are an unstable mess. If you want your information to be presented like the customers is, on the other side of the invoice, you have to enter you address entirely on the street address line, ignoring the data fields for things like city and state. If you ad extra line items that aren't hourly rate stuff to the invoice, and then do just about anything else, they disappear. I've contacted their support and was told they would work on the formatting issues, but I get the feeling they not only don't care, but are probably based in China or some place. I don't feel comfortable trusting them with my information any longer.

DO NOT USE!. In a perfect world, this app would be great. However, sometimes things happen and you have to rely on a backup. I cracked the screen of my iPad Mini, and was told to backup the data for this app using the web browser method. I did this, step by step. Twice, just to make sure. I wiped the old iPad (as instructed by the store) and picked up my new iPad. I installed all the apps, and went to restore the data from the backup. Nothing. No Data. I opened the SQLite database with an application on my laptop that allowed me to browse the data manually. The app ONLY backed up 1 month of data from a year ago, and it wouldn't even restore THAT data! I had not yet billed for about 20 hours and now I have to reconstruct all that time from phone calls, emails and text messages. This company DOES NOT RESPOND TO SUPPORT EMAILS. Customer support is NIL. DO NOT BUY/USE THIS APP IF YOUR TIME IS IMPORTANT TO YOU!!!

Works Perfect!!! Syncs perfectly between devices!!. I was using hours tracker and I switched to this one because they wanted $15 a year to sync devices. And the iPad version is $7 so I looked for a new tracker and found this app. Thank god! You have to get pro version to sync but if u have multiple devices it's well worth the $7 and NO SUBSCRIPTION FEE!!! AND ITS UNIVERSAL SO U ONLY BUY IT ONCE!!! The sync is instant, as soon as u add a time entry on one device it syncs via Dropbox instantaneously. Great job guys!!! The hours add up perfect so far so don't pay attention to prior reviews stating didn't add properly. Must have fixed it in update. So far I love this app and have no complaints. Would be nice to have portrait view, only works in landscape, but if this is the only problem I'm happy!!

Scammed. Unable to login. Support emails not responded. All of data accumulated over several years inaccessible and lost. Formerly a very useful app and now a very big regret.

Works for self employed people!. I assist people freelance doing paperwork for them and I needed a way to track my time for each client and for different projects with each client. This system allows me to write in the notes everything I did during that current period of work so the client is comfortable with the use of my time for which they are paying. It allows you to creat invoices right from your hours and customize everything. Even pay changes for different jobs for those days there is a discount bulk rate for that specific project on an invoice with other projects. The only problem is that there is no way to indicate different projects within the App so the invoices can be sorted by project. Right now I have to have the project name in the notes and they are only sorted by date of work so projects are all mixed together. It also won't let you determine what hours were spent on what projects so if this is something I want to provide for my client then I have to have multiple entries for that client and provide myself notes which account is for what client and which project with that specific client and then they get multiple invoices at the end of the month, one for each project. I think this would be a useful feature for this program because then it would solve my only complaint so far! Love this program!!

Great to track your hours and backup to Dropbox. I really appreciate the ability to track the hours I've worked for various clients. I work multiple jobs that pay different rates with different overtime rules. This app accommodates those difference quite well. The invoices look very professional and are very useful. The UI is very clean and easy to use. There are several people who rated this app with 1 star because they "lost their data"....those people could have simply backed up their data to Dropbox. Hours Keeper backs up all info to Dropbox which will sync across all your devices. Very handy! Looking forward, I wish there was a Apple Watch app that would allow me to clock in and out. Also, I wish I could customize how the clock rounds time -- it can round to 15-min intervals, but I can't figure out how to narrow that down more specifically (my time clock rounds up at the 8 min mark, not 7.5 min). Finally, the trial version of this app has an in-app upgrade to Pro version that can be confusing. I made the mistake of upgrading in-app and thinking I could download the pro version for free..I paid $6.99 twice...Apple quickly helped me correct it though!

A Little Too Simple.... I love the concept and I am actively using this app daily, although I few extra options would be great! In the invoices tab, the invoice thumbnails should have invoice #'s and client name instead of the notes listed for the invoice. An option to print more than one invoice at a time and options to print reports and other screens would be nice as well. The ability to view all info for a specific client would be nice with totals on a screen that could be printed. Possibly a "job" category for when a client is a repeat with several different jobs over time. A way to search just a "job" or a client with a printable screen for a summery instead of having to print several invoices if a job takes a few weeks. Lastly, if there was a way to track "non-billable" hours for a client or job for things like warranty work or "freebies". Thanks so much! Like it a lot....could love it with improvements!

Ok. App is ok for simple purpose. Serious problem with account syncing between devices . Guys are clocked out on one device but still clocked in on different device. Do not solely rely on this app to do payroll , you will be in trouble.

Really improved!. Below is the first review I wrote. The product has been improved with each update and is pretty darn functional now. I often have multiple jobs going and like the reports and now the invoice function works well. All I could wish for now is the ability to have a field on each days billing in an invoice to put in a few words on what work was accomplished. This is the only work/hours program I use now. First review For the first month or so it worked fine and I was going to give it a good review although adding ones information to an invoice was not too slick. Then it lost information and it seems impossible to get to the website they list. So don't waste your time!
