Frustrated. I had a lot of problems with this app on my older phone. It wouldn’t shut off during phone calls. I did a hard reset and that worked for awhile. I just purchased the latest Apple 14 pro and am still having the same problem. If I didn’t like it so much, I’d delete it for good. It’s very frustrating to be driving or using my treadmill and to have it playing while I’m trying to listen to my caller. I’ve contacted audiobooks now, and they have assured me theirs works. WHY DOESN'T MINE? Is there be a phone setting I should tweek?

I’m glad to be a member. I appreciate the various genres of audiobooks offered; the ease and convenience of the user friendly site from, initially, making a selection, to the payment process and, finally the download.

Pretty bad app. So I'm listening to a book and there are SO many issues with the playback... first of all it's not that great of a design, not super intuitive but that's not my complaint. My complaint is that while listening to the book it has so many issues playing. Very often it will pause randomly for no reason. Half the time it does not automatically go onto the next track and I have to do it manually. It even SKIPS AROUND and I have to go back so I don't miss parts of the book and I've resorted to watching the bar as I listen to it which defeats the point of having an app for it. The controls are also very delayed and don't work well with iOS because half the time it doesn't respond to control center buttons or is super delayed. At one point it even started playing the book at 3 different points at once! I had to pause it in the app, pause it in control center and one voice was still going so I had to restart the whole app... unbelievably difficult! I suggest using scribd because they are cheaper and have a better app. (Not that this app is setting that high of a bar anyway)

Pretty good. There are a couple very basic things this app doesn’t do: When typing to search for a title, etc. there is no cursor/bar to show you where you’re typing. And when you open the app, it defaults to book titles, instead of “my library,” which seems to be the logical screen to default to. Also it pauses when you go to do things like Google, when there is no reason to pause. And when you search for a book that isn’t available, you just get a plain white screen, as opposed to a message. The membership is less, but I prefer Audible.

Review. Audiobooks now is an excellent option for audio books. I’ve been on the road so often in the past year & it has been a Godsend. I’ve learned , I’ve laughed, I’ve shared so much in the past year because Audiobooks now offers so much. LOVE. Love this app! Too many books, not enough time. This app helps me check books off the “to read” lists easily. I’ve used it for over 3 years consistently and never have had a problem. I also love how they offer monthly discounts on books and sales on popular titles! I highly recommend!

Travel with your favorite books. I travel from time to time — but never without audiobooks. I listen when waiting to board, on the flight, and when I get to my hotel room to relax. I also listen while traveling in a car and while waiting for meetings to start. I am a frequent flyer on audiobooks!

Love app but one seriously frustrating issue!. Love app but has one issue I detest...many times at the end of a track, the book stops. Soooo I have to stop whatever I’m doing and go to the track list, find the next one and hit play. VERY annoying and not convenient. Please fix! Floating in pool with Bluetooth headphones and it stops - have to get out and grab phone to fix. Same with any other activity.

Good app. I like this app because I only occasionally want to purchase an audiobook. This way, I don’t have a monthly fee and can buy a book whenever I desire. It also has a good selection of the books that I like. The price for the books is a bit high compared to some of the other apps, but the quality is good. One problem that I have is that some of my books became corrupted, and I have lost part of them. I need to re-download them but I don’t know how to find the place to re-download. I would appreciate it if the developer could tell me how.

Outstanding Audiobook App. I have used audiobooks now for several years and have purchased over 50 audiobooks and have enjoyed all of them. Easy to navigate, listen before buying and easy to purchase and download. Member prices are 50%. The purchased books remain in your personal library and easy to access. Can’t imagine a better audiobook app.

Great budget friendly way to listen to books!. I really like this app. It’s pretty easy to use. This is something I use for every long drive that I have. My only complaint is I wish there was more options for searching things, like a drop-down where I could just pick a specific genre and then maybe sort them by price. Otherwise I have no complaints! Been using it for a couple years.

Great Way to Hear Books on line.. Audiobooks is a wonderful way to hear books on line. They have a large selection of all kinds of books to choose from. They have the latest books published. It is an easy app to use and my favorite app for books on line.

Great audio app. I love audio books now, this app is great. It’s easy. It’s affordable all around . Audiobooks now has every book I’ve looked for at a great price and the app never fails me as I use it at least twice daily on my commute to work! Highly recommend

App has a few bugs. I have several audio book apps, some better than others. Overall this app is pretty good, and I get books I want for a discount. My only complaint is that the app will pause randomly, and sometimes it freezes up all together, but I can just close it out and reopen it and it starts back where it left off. Overall I’m happy with the app.

Not that special sorry to say. I want to say I was impressed with the Public Domain books available for free. I knew this was not the cheapest app available but thought it might be a decent app maybe even Special, but not that special. I am disabled, having nerve damage in both hands and issues with my vision as well and reading became something I was missing and thought it would be a wonderful thing to have books back in my life. I use this app on an iPhone and have difficulty with the sleep function and as I have read from others at any time it just skips forward in the book while listening. The tracking bar doesn’t always sync up with the actual book and it too skips to catch up. I have had it reading from multiple points in the story for this issue I typically just restart my phone. Unfortunately I purchased a fair number of books before learning of these issues. If they could fix this it might be special as I had hoped.

Bit buggy at times. I like this app for car trips especially. The books are a bit expensive but I just order one at a time as I finish a series now. I love being able to speed it up a bit, nice feature. I never realized until reading some other reviews that I can stop the subscription and still have my downloaded books, that was never revealed when I started. The app needs some work please. It doesn’t always start off where I left off and some times it runs two voices together, one about 3 seconds behind the other. I have to keep pressing the stop and start to get it to just one voice. When it works, I’m loving having my books on the go!! I give this app a “C”

Love listening to my books. Love to read just do not have the time. Get to listen and cook dinner wash dishes. Just love it. If there was anything had to say they was not great is if you stop or pause the book, it’s not there when you come back. You have to click on it then go back to library find your book click on it the. Hit play. That bugs me. Other then that it’s great.

Glad I found this app!. I love audio books & am so happy to find this app. They books offered is widely varied. To date, I’ve found each book I was looking for. Enjoying building a personal library to re-listen those I love. 50% off doesn’t hurt, either!

Easy to Use and Affordable. I am an avid reader, recently turned avid audiobook listener. I heard about Audiobooks Now when I was gifted a membership and I liked it enough to stick with it after the initial period ended. I like that this membership offers a nice balance of affordability and only paying for what you actually want to buy. I found the app to be straightforward + easy to use and have never run into issues with it. I recommend this service and app to my fellow audiobook friends all the time!

App is really buggy. Books are fine, and it works a lot of the time, but good grief! The player sometimes randomly stops, you can’t reengage it from the lock screen, and when you open the app to start it again, it’s not at the same spot it stopped. Then other times on the lock screen the pause button won’t work, same thing happens when you open the app to get it to pause, when you start it again it’s not in the same spot. From the reviews, it sounds like this has been happening for quite a while since some of the reviews are two years old so it would probably be good to get this stuff fixed.

Lost app. I’ve had an account with Audiobooks Now for quite some time. The other day everything just disappeared off my app. It shows “no results found”. Can someone help me retrieve it. I’m afraid to delete it from my iPhone and re-downloading the app as I’m sure I’ll lose my entire library.

Poor App. It almost seems as if this app is still in beta, because it really does not perform the way you would expect. To be specific, I have had problems that I've never had with any other app that I use to play audiobooks. The worst problem here is that if I pause the recording and put my phone to sleep, I pick up the phone later only to find that it has continued to play. At this point, I have to figure out where I was before and go back and start there. Not only is this a nuisance, but it wastes battery power, and we know that phone batteries don't last as long as they used to. Another problem I have is that, when I'm listening to the book in the car, the volume does not go up nearly as much as it does when I use other platforms. Finally, the format is not at all user friendly. It barely recognizes a best-selling book that should be displayed on the screen in my car. I can't imagine in what world it would be more useful to know what track I am on, rather than what chapter, but tracks are what you get. Also the format does not let you know how much time you have left in the book. I'll give them this - it lets you play an audiobook. But that's about it.

Great wonders of audiobooks. I am not a real book reader as a hobby, but since I’ve started using this Audiobook app, I absolutely love listening to the great variety of books offered by this app. A ton of worthwhile public domain books I recommend, also the books you can purchase stay very up to date. There are a few glitches, but besides that, the manage library function is good, as well as the search areas. Wish listing is nice as well. Thank you for such a cool app!

Great app!. We have had this app for almost 5 years and have been very satisfied! The last book we listened to was the first time we had an issue. The last 15 seconds of most tracks would cut off but this was the first time we ever had an issue. We are looking forward to our next trip to hear a new book! We like the selections of books as well as the monthly sales!

The Best Audiobook Reader Ever!!!. Audiobooks now is the most amazing app I have ever used!! Since discovering it I have been able to read more books than I have ever read in my life. Overrides Lock Screen to just keep talking. I like the app, but it has three shortcomings I’d love the developer to fix: 1) When I pause playback and lock the phone, the app shows up on the Lock Screen. This often causes it to start up again by mistake. I’d like to block it from showing up on the Lock Screen at all. 2) The app does not automatically pause when it’s in the background (sometimes? every time?). It continues to play even though I’m in another app—even on the phone!!! 3) The “Book Details” pop-up window shows just a part of the audio book info, without a way to see the rest. The only button is “Close”. Thank you!

Wonderful and easy app!!!. Love listening to the stories from whatever device I happen to have on from the same place I left off. It is so easy to sign up and buy books. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who loves audio books but hates most of the hassle of cds, high prices, and it only being on the device you downloaded it on. This is so simple for me and I love it!

Mostly pleased!. I have been pleased with my overall experience using this app. It is easy to navigate and I appreciate the updates that continue to improve my user experience. It is a bit disappointing that you cannot get your discounted pricing through the app. But that really hasn’t prohibited are use in anyway.

Buggy, doesn’t add purchases to IOS books. The listening app is buggy and stops. Even though book was purchased, it isn’t possible to play it through iBooks or the IOS music app because it doesn’t show up there. So we have a book we purchased but we cannot play it except to use the “Audiobooks Now” app, which only works sometimes. Another issue is that the app will allow a purchase as a guest without setting up an account but then you cannot play your purchase unless you set up the account. This is misleading, why allow one to buy a book as a guest if you cannot use the app to play it? And if we have to use the Audiobooks Now app to play it, could the app not at least work reliably? Granted I am new to audio books, but I do expect to play a purchased book when I please. I expect a player to work. I expect honesty when buying a book. And I expect to be able to use another player if the Audiobooks Now doesn’t work properly.

Easy. This app has encouraged me to start reading again. I am able to put my headphones and continue on my walk or working around the house. There is a wide variety of choices for books and have listened to some that I probably would not have bought to read but with this app it is easy to say “yes, I’ll try that one”. Listening to the books was (is) a valuable tool for me to get out and walk in the park for exercise. If you enjoy reading and don’t take the time to sit down and read anymore I highly encourage you to utilize this app.

One of the best places to get audiobooks!. I have been a club member for a couple of years and has switched from their website to the app. So far it works well and I have not had any problems. Audiobooks seem to play fine and download easily. I can login and access my account with no problems, search for Audiobooks and check out which books are on sale. Overall I am very satisfied!

Remarkable for Road-trips. This app makes listening to audiobooks on the road a breeze. I just download to the app on my iPad using WI-FI and it is ready to play without an internet connection. I connect the iPad to my car via Bluetooth for better audio volume.

Great site. Audiobooks Now is a great, affordable alternative to the more expensive,more well known sites. They have a wonderful variety of popular & even less well known authors & books. I have derived so much enjoyment & pleasure from this site, kudos to Audiobooks Now.

Skips tracks. Was gifted a audio book by my son to use while we are traveling. Today attempted to listen to it through CarPlay and the app would skip 5 to 6 tracks instead of going to the next track. My wife would constantly have to go back into the app on the phone to back it up to the correct track. This was following every single track! It was extremely annoying because each track is only 10 minutes long, so every 10 minutes we had to correct it by going back to the iPhone and finding the right track.

Overpriced, discriminates against in-app purchcases, and poor customer service. I downloaded a book from audiobooksnow thinking I would get the new member discount advertised when I signed up with this outfit. Instead, they charged me full price. When I complained, they explained that, had I purchased the book on the web and then downloaded it to my phone it would have received the 50% discount, but because I purchased it through the app I paid full price. The reason? Apple charges them for in-app purchases. I cancelled my membership and now the book that I PURCHASED is gone. Stick with the reputable companies selling audio books!

Drive time the best!!!. I love this app!! I get great prices for all books and since I drive frequently to visit my parents this app makes the 8 hour drive fun!! Also makes my work commute exciting instead of sad as morning drivers can be pretty cranky!! I have always lived to read but so hard to find the time now so what could be better than this app!! If I have problems it is either with my phone or cords but none with the app so far and I have used it for at least 2 years!! Thanks for the awesome books!

Need Internet access to work. I got this because I only occasionally need to get an audio book. I didn't want a subscription model. I just downloaded a book at home before leaving for a trip through eastern Oregon and Nevada, where there is scant cell coverage, so no Internet. If I stopped the app for any reason, I needed to have Internet access to get to the library where the info for the book was stored. As a result, I went without my downloaded book for periods of time. The book itself played fine once the library was accessed...no need for Internet. Not particularly useful in a world where Internet coverage isn't universal. Update: see developer response below. The app is fine... will try it again on another trip. If it works without Internet, it's exactly what I wanted!

Good company, but.... The deals are pretty great: $6 a month gets you an audiobook for half price. The app itself is...less than amazing. The player frequently stops working at random when a track concludes, and you have to press play to resume. Files take a long time to download, and will spontaneously cease downloading, forcing you to relaunch the app. A little tinkering with the bugs in the player would probably fix these issues.

Best out there. I use numerous formats mainly for audio books and when I’m searching for a fair price on a title this one always comes out on top. I also use Libby but very often titles are not available there but always available on this . no doubt the best.

Love it!. Really like the idea that I do not have to have a monthly subscription. If I think of a book I would like to listen to. I can just type it in the name it’s usually always available. And the prices are always great. I can always find something that I want to listen to. No matter what genre it is.

Lee Child AND non-fiction. Ordering, downloading, listening and archiving all work well for me. Had trouble with ONE book not being loud enough - they fixed it that afternoon. They have what I enjoy. I’ve listened to over 34 books. Some not very good BUT that’s not the service’s problem, it was the writer’s problem. Good job!

I love this app!!!. I am so glad I found Audiobooks Now. The prices are low & the sales help me build up my audiobook library. I listen to audiobooks practically 24/7 even when going to sleep at night so the timer function helps me to not loose my place should I fall asleep quickly; i usually set it for 15 minutes. I like the wide variety of genres although my regular listens are “cozy mysteries”. I appreciate that I can listen to a sample before purchasing to help me see if I like the story or the writer’s style and/or the narrator. I recommend this app to anyone who loves being read to.

Enjoy listening. I have had this app for a few years now and have enjoyed the selection of books and the readings. On occasion, the person reading the story does not fit the characters, and the expressions and voices being used are not the most pleasant to listen to-and sometimes it’s a book by authors whose stories I enjoy reading. If that is the case, I won’t continue listening to it. I would also like more opportunity and ease in sharing a book. For the most part, I am happy with this app.

Nice selection of audiobooks. Joined club membership to get discounted price on audiobooks. I listen to books at my own pace. The app runs smoothly, i can dowload or stream the audiobook from any device through the app. The only thing i wish it comes with a bookmark feature to keep track where I am so when i listen on a different device it knows where I left of .. not having to start again or to keep advancing. Overall I’m enjoying it and love the book selection. I like that i don’t have to pay monthly fee to subscribe.

Best nonsubscription audiobook app. I have three audiobook apps on my phone. I try to consume at least 35 books a year. One would think that the easiest route for me to do this with is a subscription-based app. However, I have found that I keep coming back to Audiobooks Now, due to the ability to search any title, and grab any book one off and then own it forever. Their library is amazing, and there ability to offer non-subscription listening is the reason I keep coming back. I will note that the app can be a little bit finicky with my iPhone every once in a while. It’s not quite as smooth as audible or audiobooks from Apple. however, it is well worth having to hit play three or four times when interrupted by text messages and phone calls, etc. interface a simple and easy to use. And I have downloaded a couple of books while in flights before which is an extremely handy feature. I would recommend to anybody.

It's fine, with problems. I'm on the Club Pricing plan, and overall this app works. + I like that it's mostly DRM free, so I could put the files into Music or another app, but I prefer to use this one. + Had multiple speedup options for playback (1.25x, 1.5x, etc.). Saves a lot of time. - Ugly, unresponsive web app. Come on, build a native app already. - Still needs an internet connection to play already downloaded books. Makes it useless on an airplane. - Sometimes tracks break at set intervals, not at logical places in the book like chapters or headings. Many times I'll want to go back a couple of minutes and find I can't because we started a new track. You can't back up 30 seconds into the previous track. You have to manually select it from the track list and find your place again.

True enjoyment !. Love good books but don’t always have the time to sit and read , but this is the best way to enjoy my books and still get things done . Good books Great prices . Easy to use . Thanks for a wonderful product . I just bought a new iPad and my books transferred easily, what a blessing.

Does the job. The app plays audiobooks well which with a decent interface. My main gripe is with CarPlay, which refuses to work. It crashes 100% of the time upon launch, even on different devices. You can game it by playing the book via the phone interface and letting the audio come through by itself, but you can’t select a new book without handling your phone.

Favourite Audiobooks App. I’ve been a member of AudiobooksNow since 2016. I use the AudiobooksNow app daily and I’ve never experienced any problems with it. It is so easy to use and navigate. The prices are reasonable and there is a huge selection of audiobooks to choose from. If you do have a question or a problem they are extremely helpful and prompt. App is too basic for subscription to be useful. I recently joined for a trial, and I won't be continuing because your app is just too basic. 1. It needs to give options for audio speed. If overdrive, borrowbox, oneclickdigital, audible and even the default book player on an iphone can give different audiospeeds then you should too. I am used to listening at x1.25 and so find the lack of this feature a deal breaker 2. You need to have bookmarks. I know your software "remembers", but it only "remembers" the most forward place you have EVER been to, not the LAST place you were. This means that , like me, if you fall asleep... suddenly it keeps taking me to track 100 (for example) when I'm actually up to number 30. So now I have to take a screen shot every time I pause so that I know where I'm up to as each time I re-open the app it goes back to 100.

Fantastic App. I have used this app for a few years now on my drive to and from work. It makes a long drive in traffic seem quick. The app works well, there are good choices for books at all prices and it syncs across all of my devices really well too.

Great App!!!. This app is unbelievably easy to use. Whether u search on your phone or a computer it is easy both ways. When I get in my vehicle it automatically starts where I left off. I let everyone I know how great it is. Yes pricing is in American money but boy is it worth it. It is cheaper than any Canadian audio book app I have seen, even in USA funds. Thank you audiobooksnow

Documents folder is protected. You cannot add your own MP3 books to this app--which makes it little more than a sales tool, rather than a useful MP3 player for many of us.

Very satisfied!. On my second year of use and this app is great! Easy to use, great selection, rebates and reward points!

Great app. I use this app with great pleasure. It is easy to use. Download book using wi fi. Take advantage of the clubs and you will enjoy savings after savings. Horrible / Unstable. The program keeps crashing, does not work well with Car Play. It ignores the play and pause buttons. Sometimes it plays twice at two different moments the audio as if I was listening in two different devices at the same time. Frankly it is frustrating and the moment i finish the book I bought will NEVER use it again. March 2022

Best Audiobook Service. I’ve been using this audiobook service for years. The service, selection, pricing and support are all excellent. Keep up the good work!

Works fine. I enjoy listening to stories in my car and while I am getting ready in the morning. I works well. Occasionally it repeats a chapter.

Website great, App worthless. Most irritating app I have ever downloaded! Resume listening and can’t figure out what’s going only to find that it (the app) has skipped a track once again. Sometimes it just goes to some random track in the future or the past. Sometimes plays two tracks at the same time. AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE IRRITATED, just try using with CarPlay! I have found it easier to just download onto my computer and use Dropbox

Great App. I have used this app for 5 or 6 years. Good prices and the reduced price for being a member carries over month to month. It also works for all my devices, phone, IPad, etc.

Great price, terrible app. I had to download the book and move it to a different app as I had constant issues losing where I was in the book after various interruptions (phone calls etc) . Keeping constant and exact location of the book is an extrely important feature this app struggles to get right.

This is a decent app. I like this app as it allows me to purchase an audiobook and download the audio files to my computer. I am able to listen using the app or from the downloaded files, depending on my preference.

Pleased. I have been very satisfied with all of my purchases. I did however have a problem once and it was rectified quite quickly. I would have given 5 stars, but I feel that the prices are a bit high for some of the books.

Not bad. I like most aspects of this app: good variety, decent price, lots of great sales, etc. the one thing I definitely don’t like is how touchy the buttons are. I pause the story frequently, and more than half the time, I jumps backwards between 30seconds and 9 minutes. Very frustrating.

Have had this for over 2 years. Can not foresee changes in provider. Am very satisfied with the selection and service. If on the very rare occasion I had a question or issue it was promptly addressed.

Bad app. I just downloaded the app, I have 2 kids under 2 and don’t have time to read, thought thisAudio book app would be something good to try. I just purchased a book, and it won’t even play Past the first chapter, I’ve been trying to download it like it says on there, but it won’t even do that , I don’t have time for this faulty app!!!!

Long time customer. We’ve been customers of AudiobooksNow for years. They always have our favorite authors at very reasonable prices.

Repeat. This app has repeated itself after 7 hours, it goes back to 3 hours and you get to listen to what you already heard, not knowing how the book ends, because it does not let you listen to it. This happened twice. It went on 2x the speed after 7 hours, I thought this was my fault, but I think there might be a glitch.

Please fix the battery drain problem. I chose this app because of the audio quality, but it drains the battery very very fast. Please fix the problem. My iPhone is on fire!!!

Works pretty good but audible is better. I couldn’t find a few books on audible. Found them here. The app is ok but not as user friendly as audible. I gave this app 3 stars because it doesn’t quit playing when you answer the phone. That is super annoying.

Works well most of the time. I like the price of the books, relatively low price of monthly or annual membership if chosen and that I can archive purchases downloading or streaming what I need. The major con is sometimes after making a stop and restarting the book it will not advance to the next track.

Skips. I’ve had a maddening first experience with this app: mid sentence, my book skips ahead. I try rewinding, rewinding, rewinding to find where I left off, but then it skips head mid rewind. Of course I have no idea where I WAS so I have to start the previous chapter over again. ARGH! FOLLOW UP: credit due ... they’ve reached out to me to work on the issue. Plus 1 star!

I love this app. I do quite a bit of driving for my job , And I downloaded this app so I could listen to books . I love this app because I can find most of the books I love and new ones that I wanted to read . Great quality and lotsssss of titles !

Love this app. Have been a member for 10+ years. Would recommend to anyone that travels as the time passes by so fast when listening to a book.

Great app. I'm a huge fan of audiobooks, and this has been a great app to use. I especially like that you can speed up or slow down the rate that the book is read. A very user-friendly app!

easy-to-use app. The “audiobooks now” app is very user friendly; I have had minimal to no issues with use and have liked very much the broad selection of titles.

Some Really Good Books Available. Have enjoyed the app for some time tho there is now an App I use more frequently because it tends to have more deals on books. But, because Audio seems to have a wider range, if I truly want to hear a special book, Audio is my go to.

Disappointed. Non-intuitive interface. Does not save your place in the audiobook. Requires you to enter an email, Which means this is used to scrape personal information. Generally one of the poorest app experiences I’ve ever had. And yes I have the most recent version, and the most up-to-date OS. I was eager to read my sample audiobook, and I’m so frustrated by the app that I’ve just given up even though it’s not available anywhere else.

Audiobooks. Our family enjoys using the app to listen to audiobooks together via a Bluetooth speaker in our home or through the audio system in our vehicle on long road trips.

Good app for good books. I have been using this app for quite some time and have a sizable library. We have not had problems and in fact had to download a book from here after failure in another well known app. I would recommend it

Great for traveling and going overseas. I downloaded this app for the purpose of downloading new books for my travels. I’m now even using it to keep up with my monthly book club picks. Love it!

Easy to use app!. The Audiobooks Now app is intuitive, with an easy-to-use layout. The sound quality is clear. (I do wish the non-member pricing was lower, but that is out of my control)

Love the Selection. I find the most interesting books and plays when I’m browsing. Also find a variety of narrators for the same book. Nice.

This app is great!. This app is so great for me - so many audiobooks, even ones I would never even think to look for! Customer service has always been very helpful.

Playback is horrendous. The streaming playback routinely loses its spot and then will skip to the next chapter. After I finish the one book I bought through this company, I’m switching to audible. More expensive, but I got this for my drive and I can’t constantly keep looking at my phone trying to figure out how to get back to the spot before it skipped ahead. Maybe playing through the website is more reliable, but there is no forward or rewind feature that I saw.

Great place for audio books. I’ve been using the app for about 6 months now and really like it. I listen to books while working or doing yard work and it really makes the time fly. Good prices and discounts each month.

Great App!. I use this app everyday. I love that they have sales often. I have enjoyed many different types of books. I can’t imagine getting through my week without the app.

Great, just one issue. I have enjoyed getting books from audiobooksnow, the only problem I have is that the files do not have the Metadata. I had to find a program to add it myself so I can organize the files for books together on my phone.

Affordable Audible Alternative. Pretty good selection and run good deals. Only took a star off because the audio always seems too quiet. Wish there was a way to boost it as I often listen when cooking and headphones make my head hurt.

Needs shorter skip. The service is great, but the 30 second skip button seems a bit long. This app could use a 10 or 15 second skip, or an option to customize the length.

I love these guys but this app is not good. Why does it require i download or stream everytime i open a book? Why does the spinner never go away! Why do i have to try fifteen times to get the sleep button to work at night, because there is a permanent spinner on the ui?????? No matter how many times i download a book… “download” or “stream” ????

Used to work. I downloaded and used audiobooks now without a problem maybe two years ago. I since upgraded from nook to iPad and I wish this app actually worked. I get two sentences out if it before it stops and have to hit the arrow to make it start again. I’ve tried both download option as well as streaming- neither operates correctly. Too bad I purchased the books as I am unable to listen to them.
