Holy smokes these guys are brutal!. I gotta say, I am an avid Fantasy Hockey player and that sounds odd to some, but it’s fairly simple really. When I first started my league 5 years ago, this app was barely functional, all you could do was set your lineup on it, then they added waivers and stuff and they were actually doing a pretty decent job with the fantasy stuff. This year they updated the website and the app to look sleeker, and now it barley functions. I have complaints from long time members of my league about stats not loading right, schedule not loading, anything that can go wrong has. Also I am a member of a fantasy football league as well, which has had a issues through the season. I also would like to see User Trophies added back to Fantasy Hockey, or I may take my league and it’s 5 year history to yahoo next year, which would be a real shame. Fix your app, fix your website. Until then 2 stars.

Would give a 0 if possible. I’ve used this fantasy app for about 5 years now without issue until this football season. About 6 weeks into the season, my team data was completely gone. I logged in to change my lineup for the week and the screen directed me to sign up for a team or league when I was already logged in. From my commissioners side of things, everything looked normal. So I emailed the app support two different times and received no response aside from the automatic response that I assume is given to all people who email them. The last email I sent was over two weeks ago, again with no response. I don’t know what I have to do for ESPN to help me with this issue, and they seem to not want to help, so I’m writing this review. I would give the app a 0 out of 5 if possible because of this glitch and because ESPN refuses to help me fix it. Maybe this will get me some help with my issue but probably not since ESPN is incompetent. Don’t use this app unless you like being completely disappointed and angry 🙃

Makes fantasy a chore and takes away the fun. Enable notifications for messaging and make individual player updates more obvious. The best feature in ESPN is the draft and being able to swipe between other team matchups. Fantasy football is a social game and the fact there is no way to get push notifications for the message board is flabbergasting. Apparently this has been an issue for years? I’m engaging with new friends through my league and have to log in, wade through three menus then and check manually to find if there are updates. Undoubtedly some new players don’t even know about the message board because there isn’t an alert for a new post that shows up. Astounding. For individual player stats in each game you need to click on a player, then go down to their yearly stats and scroll through three pages of data to figure out which points are tallied based on the position. There is no rolling data or quick information.

Pales in Comparison to other Fantasy Apps. Out of all the applications I have used to play fantasy, the ESPN Fantasy App is the most lackluster and dysfunctional app as of date. The user interface is not aesthetically pleasing to view and the overall user interface lacks basic fluidity. The widget does not update properly during matches, player “alerts” are not consistent (I have to download a separate app to maintain live player updates during games), navigating within a league is robust in all the wrong categories, and it fails to make transitioning from live games, player content, and fantasy owner lineups fluid. That is only highlighting a few glaring issues. A lot of users have complained and added their reviews, but it appears that this app is set on clinging to its view of functionality. Popular opinion and user satisfaction is definitively overruled by ESPN Fantasy developers. Just take a look at the latest responses from ESPN Fantasy. First and last time using.

Great App: Easy to Fix nagging Weakness. I’ve been using the web app / iPhone app since the beginning and have been patiently awaiting a fix for two limitations that have plagued us as commissioners. 1.) Why is it that I can change owners and DELETE THE WHOLE LEAGUE, but I can’t approve trades in the app? This is frustrating as it is the most time sensitive activity I use and most frequently used. 2.) What is the point of a keeper system that doesn’t let you have keepers in pre set rounds other than your first two picks? The developers have done an amazing job in a very complex draft pick trading and player trades, but this one missing feature recurs every year and makes our league consider flea flicker / yahoo. Hate to look a gift horse; the app gets better every year, but I can’t complain if I never bring it up.

Very very behind.. This will probably be my last season using this app for fantasy all of my football leagues have moved over for the SLEEPER app. The last thing that is holding me back is fantasy baseball. The app seems very slow when it comes the live updates.... I used to love being able to watch live pitches and it was accurate on time. The looks of the app are great but it lacks the accuracy and is just very very bad. I don’t know if it’s from me being more engaged with the fantasy sports more so than the average person. I don’t understand how the ball can be dropped on this one.... I’m locked in for the rest of baseball season and I hope it gets much better or my league will be moving to another platform. How this is rated 5 stars is crazy to me with the funding you have ESPN I expected better. I’d be more than willing to talk to a developer on specific issues and hep them out. Don’t get me started on the app for the iPad.

Fantasy Baseball is mid. It’s not bad but there’s a lot of things that could make it better, specifically in fantasy baseball. ADD STARTING PITCHERS when you tap on a batter in your lineup prior to game. It’s annoying having to go from espn fantasy app to regular espn app to see who is pitching. No reason for that. Also could show if pitchers are right or left handed and same goes for batters. Idk every single one of my players dominant hands or batting sides. Could also make it easier to see a players stats from previous years or even earlier in the season, not just the 6 most recent games. There’s plenty of things fantasy baseball could include to make the app an all in one place for information, and avoid jumping to different apps to find out what you need to know to decide on starting lineups

Requires constant reinstalls. I downloaded this app to participate in my office’s fantasy league. This is my first fantasy sport experience, and I’ve not been impressed. After installing and registering I had trouble logging in to participate in a mock draft. The night of our leagues draft, I had to reinstall twice to log in. Thank goodness for high speed internet. Three others in our office experienced the same problem draft night, and one of them simply resorted to using the web interface. Since then, I’ve had to reinstall the app at least once a week when it is time to change my lineup. The error message comes up after the “loading your team and matchup” screen, and says “Unable to load the ESPN fantasy app. Please check your internet connection.” I’ve checked my internet connection, trying my work WiFi, home WiFi, friend’s WiFi, and cellular data connection. Regardless of the network, once the error appears, reinstalling the app fixes the problem and exact same network now lets me connect and load my team. I’m not the only one having this problem. All four of us in the office on iPhones either have to reinstall the app weekly, or use the web interface. This not just a problem with my phone or network. I’m already in the office league, so I’m going to keep it up through the end of this season, but if ESPN can’t fix the app by the end, I’m uninstalling after the season ends and won’t be bothering again.

Fantastic for football; God awful for basketball. Does anyone actually work on the fantasy basketball app? There have been the same issues for multiple years now. For example, today is the 20th. When I go to the players tab, I can see their stats for the past 7 days and 15 days, which is great. But then if I want to see how a free agent player is playing today? No option. But there is an option to see how they’re playing on the 21st — a day that hasn’t happened yet. This has been like this for years. My league plays with a games played limit, and sometimes when there are holidays, the limit changes. The app and the website though have shown different games played limits. That can lead to players accidentally breaking the rules because of bad information. There are just way too many issues to name, but that there’s no way to consistently and easily see free agents’ stats of the day — but there is a consistent way to see tomorrow’s stats that are always blank — shows that they could give two hoots about the basketball app. It never feels good to use a product when the people who make it obviously don’t care.

Meh. I just downloaded this to do some mocks. First of all, they have like a million of the same exact type of mock that no one uses but no variation or any kind of mock for unique roster rules. I play in an 8 team nl only auction league and they very rarely even have auction leagues, much less nl only ones. I also play in a 10 team mixed hth categories league and I’ve seen exactly 0 categories mocks, even tho I’ve played in several actual categories leagues on espn. I’ve been doing some mocks anyway to see where guys will go. If I leave the app to look a player up because the info on the app about the players is laughable at best, the draft skips me and auto drafts any schlub on the list. But you don’t have enough time to set your queue if you’re the only one drafting. Overall, it’s a pretty piss-poor effort from a company with the money and resources of espn, but it’s better than nothing

I won’t play on ESPN anymore. I’ve reached a point where I’m going to tell all my commissioners to switch to another platform, or I’ll have to quit the league. It’s amazing how every other fantasy app - including the one made by that paragon of innovation, Yahoo! - has generally improved over the years, while ESPN’s just treads water at best, or makes things worse. Most other apps, at this point, looked like they were designed for the iPhone. ESPN is for the guy running Linux on a Dell in his basement, who still has file cabinets full of spreadsheets of stats from when he played mail-in fantasy in the 80s. They try to squeeze so much information into a single screen that the numbers becomes almost indecipherable. Every 10-second video is preceded by a 15-second ad. And why, for the love of God, do I have to click “Edit”, move players, and then “Save” to change my lineup? Just let me move the players. I’ve begrudgingly used this crap app for years, but no more. Do yourself and your friends a favor and switch your league to Sleeper, or literally anything other than this.

Pretty Good but not perfect. This app is very good. There is nothing particularly wrong with it, but there are some quality of life problems that should be fixed. This is included being only able to access the my team and matchup options in the main menus, and also accessing other leagues. You have to click on the my team or matchups options and scroll right. Depending on where you are in the menu, other leagues are not accessible and you need to exit menus to get to them. There is also the same problem with editing team names and other settings and options. However, this app brings real time stats and clips to help you make educated decisions on who to bench and who to play. This includes text telling the status of a player, point averages, rankings and text to better explain events. This is a high 4 and could be a five with more updates to fix problems mentioned earlier.

Slow and Clunky. Have played ESPN Fantasy Sports for 10+ years, including Streak for the Cash, where I’ve made well over 5,000 picks. Love SFTC due to its ease of play, and fun concept. However, when ESPN decided to switch from its stand-alone app for SFTC to the ESPN Fantasy App, I have felt like quitting numerous times. It takes two to three times longer to play, the app crashes constantly for me, and it looks way worse. I’m still playing because I love the game, but each time the app crashes I love it a little less. My SFTC days are numbered, and that’s completely because of the new app. If you care about those that play (and I know you’ve heard countless number of people complain about the new app), then at least consider going back to the old app. Don’t be stubborn just to try and prove a point. Actually listen to your customers for once.

Last Update Broke It. I don’t know what happened with the latest update, but the latest update has broken the app in so many ways. First off, when you click the app to open it for the first time, the app takes literally 3 lifespans to stop loading and actually load up, but if you don’t want to wait to die, be reborn, die again, and repeat 3 more times, then you have to close the app and quickly reopen it, so that it hopefully loads up correctly the 2nd time. *NOTE: You’d have to repeat this process over and over until it actually loads up correctly and let you fiddle with your fantasy sports lineups and whatnot!* Secondly, when you are FINALLY able to actually access the app and make changes to lineups and things, the app completely runs slower than a turtle in a 5K charity walk! It takes literally over 60 seconds sometimes to make even 1 player swapping change in lineups. Third and finally, even if you have deleted and redownloaded the app, THE SAME PROBLEMS STILL PERSIST!!!

Playoff bracket. Over the last few years I have been using this app and really great I enjoy it. Every year in my fantasy basketball league there is more people being added each year and I think that a lot of minor things can be added. The one major thing I think should be added is that there should be more teams that make it past to the winner consolation bracket as more people join the fantasy, i know that it’s only four spots because of the real NBA season, but maybe the option of starting the fantasy playoffs sooner so more teams can compete in the winners consolation bracket. I don’t know if it’s impossible or not, but if it’s doable then I think a lot of fantasies will enjoy this and will make more competitive and won’t make people quit once they know they won’t make the top 4.

Horrible compared to Yahoo. So first, it takes 2-3 times to open the app in the first place… and that’s not an exaggeration- literally every time I open the app it fails, so I have to wait for it to time out. Then usually it opens on the 2nd try, but sometimes it takes 3. Then once the app is open, it's just really bad. There are countless examples of, but here are two- 1. Most views don’t show you all the info you need. If you click on a player, you can view his previous games, but not 3 pointers (for basketball). 2. When you look at waiver wire players and look at stats for “tonight”, it doesn’t display the game time or if the game is over… so you see a player has 10 points, but have no clue if it’s half time, beginning of the 1st quarter, or if the game is over. If you use yahoo, there are none of these problems. Was excited to try ESPN this year- our league will not be using it again.

constantly crashing, slow and buggy! please fix this!. Every single time I open the app, there is a long period of “spinning” and “loading the data”. If it does open up, I start to look at my roster and then some players and again it either freezes up or crashes or brings up a player with no data on the screen or spins and spins. Completely unacceptable. Its barely usable. And before you ask...I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, quit the app (which doesnt fix it at all) and restarted my phone. I have an iphone 8. This should be much more stable. Please fix this!!! If I coukd give no stars I would! This is also my first review ever of an app. I’m disappointed enough that I decided to speak up in the hopes that someone will fix this horrible unstable app.

Terrible. I've hated this app since day one because it freezes or just closes while I'm trying to make a pick. Today while attempting to make my next pick after getting the notice my latest was good, I chose to pick the Astros game. It kept asking if I wanted to change my selection even though I hadn't made one yet. So I scroll up and realize it shows I've made a pick I did not choose and one I would never choose. I tried to cancel and again it kept asking if I wanted to change my pick and I kept telling it I definitely did. This went on for a good 10 minutes of me closing the app and retrying because I knew that was a bad pick. It never let me cancel and make another selection and while trying the game locked. I email customer support immediately and of course got no response. Now my streak is broken and the Astros of course won. Go back to the old app or get one that freaking works. That is not fair.

Slow & buggy. I can’t believe I’m writing this on a Tuesday morning, but the app is even slow & bombing out now... and it’s so much worse when it matters most, on Sundays. Lineup changes & research in the last hour before games is terrible, especially after NFL teams post final injury status... and all through the games. This has been happening for years, and my league only remains here because of inertia. We know Yahoo is better (our friends share this by showing us the app of course). On top of it, in game point totals have been wrong with frequency this year, so “projections” are effectively meaningless since, if they are sometimes wrong... they might always be... so they have to be calculated offline/manually to be certain (that’s assuming the stats are right...) I really hope ESPN adds a server or a dozen, especially something extra on Sundays, or I’m going to be pushing for the change in 2020 that we’ve wanted for years now. If the app cannot work well, ESPECIALLY as you do final prep to set lineups and track your teams’ progress on game day — the second best part of fantasy football after the draft — what’s the point in staying around?

No support for League Managers. Great app for most players...unless you’re a league manager. Barely offers anything for management in the app. Therefore, you have to log on to the actual website to adjust any league settings. Ok...I can do that...except when I log onto the website with it iPad or iPhone and log into the Fantasy side to adjust my league settings it automatically opens the app on the device. Only way around this is to DELETE the app on the device, then login to the website and make changes to the league. They either need to make the website not automatically push me into the app or allow access to make all changes allowed in the website through the app.

***ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES***. !!! ATTENTION PLEASE !!! Please orientate to both views. Broke my neck, can’t turn my iPad. The app currently only works in landscape mode on the iPad. If I get “set up” with my device straight up and down, I’m forced to use your app sideways. As a Quadriplegic, I’m unable to rotate my device back-and-forth without asking for assistance. It’s hard to not feel like a burden, with the constant requests for help, and the inability to return the favor. Having to ask someone to come rotate my iPad, so I can use your app, is just one more thing. I don’t write a lot of reviews, as I don’t have a lot of faith in getting a response. So, I’ve just been putting up with it and using the thing sideways, but then I figured ESPN is fully aware of the benefits of product inclusivity, and the importance of accessibility, so I decided to go for it. Disappointing Ads. I can say without a doubt that the only reason my friends and I choose ESPN for our fantasy leagues is because the mobile app is a little bit better than the competition (Yahoo, CBS, etc..). I’ve had to do a lot of convincing to get friends committed to running out leagues in here, and a major factor is the (relatively) seamless user experience. What does ESPN do halfway into the season? For the first time since before anyone can remember they throw frequent video advertisements into their fantasy platform. I’ve been okay with the countless banner ads on nearly every single page, but this just crossed a line and it seems as though next season many fantasy players will be taking their leagues elsewhere. Please stop making us watch frequent, not to mention, lengthy, video ads. An expectation was set for months and at a critical point in the season ESPN does what they do best and frustrate their users.

Garbage. Been playing FF for 15 years and this app is pretty bad. It’s better on the website but this is America we use our phones dude. But that’s not really that much better. You can only set your lineup for the current week starting on Tuesday. Why is that a thing? I mean basically Espn decided you can’t go on an 8 day vacation and if it is a 7 day vacation make sure you come back by the 1pm games cause otherwise you just left all the injured and bye week players in. Kinda ridiculous. It’s not all that user friendly or aesthetically pleasing to the eye but you can get around all that if they let you set a lineup besides this week. I do like that is doesn’t just volunteer “transaction trends” like the yahoo app does cause then you can make moves instead of others just being handed who to pick up, but that’s about the only thing it’s got better than yahoo. Yahoo shows stats of the opposing ranks and such. I like being able to use research and insight to decide who to get but I’m not gonna spend half my week researching cause you guys can’t just put rankings like the website has on the app. Kinda wish i could give zero stars.

I just don’t get it. We live in a time where advances in technology happen daily. Do you know that right now, there are people working on projects in medicine that inject tiny robots into your bloodstream that diagnose whether or not you have any infections, diseases, and so on, and then fixes it! Last year, ESPN Q1 earners were up 7% (as of Dec. 29, 2018) which is $1.3 billion. So ESPN has both money and operates during a time of seemly unlimited technological advances, yet..they can’t seem to hire or find someone to make their fantasy football app function properly...ever. Oh wow a trade alert let me go check it out...click on notification, “We’re sorry, the trade is not in the league associated with this account.” As I stare at matchup I have this week correctly displayed with the only league my account is in directly under that “your in the wrong league” notification, I think well how about I get updated scores and I correct information on a busy Sunday football slate...lol yea right. Never works. Just mind blowing...I don’t get it. Can you figure it out ESPN!

Absolutely abysmal. If I could give this app 0 stars I still don’t think the rating would be low enough. It is absolutely insane how I set my lineup and a day later go back into the app and it shows the lineup I previously had. Then I go to change it back to what I wanted and it says the players are already in that position. How hard is it to get this simple part of fantasy football right. Also this app is so unbelievably trash that it just showed me for an entire hour that my opponent started someone who didn’t play in a game and then I go back into the app to see the score and apparently he didn’t start someone who didn’t play so the app completely screwed me and had me thinking that my opponent started someone who scored 0 points. It’s the entire point of fantasy football to be able to see live scores and they literally can’t even display who is starting and who is on the bench correctly. It’s quite literally the most simple thing that you could do in fantasy football and the workers at ESPN can’t even do it right. You should be disgraced with yourselves. How long has this app been in existence? And you STILL CANT GET STUFF RIGHT. IT IS RIDICULOUS.

Prizes. The prizes have dwindled over the years from upwards of a million, to hundred thousands, to thousands, to now where the challenge prizes are literally $2,500 and a t-shirt. I know Disney isn’t hurting that bad. With ESPN+ and all that ESPN has going, there’s no reason the prizes for their challenge games should be so low. Add in the fact they stopped keeping up with streak for the cash after the guy who ran it for so long moved on and they struggles to keep it up in his place, I literally never use the app anymore. I used to use the Streak app daily for 10 years until the prizes became so low it wasn’t worth my time to play it. I know daily fantasy sports has changed the game for ESPN’s fantasy challenge and streak games but they didn’t even try to get more sponsors or keep it going themselves. They just gave up. All disney knows how to do is cut budgets, unless they are buying and destroying things like Star Wars (with the exception of Rogue One), and making huge investments in things that don’t really matter. But let’s talk politics on air.

App won’t open since dark mode update. Ever since the update that added dark mode and the updated layout, the app will not open. It gets stuck on the “Loading your team and matchup data” screen. Eventually, it times out and says I don’t have a functioning internet connection, but I surely do and can use my connection for any other app. I believe this issue is affecting lower iOS versions, since my friends on iOS 15 aren’t having this issue, but I am experiencing it on iOS 13. Please look into this. I can only make roster moves and check scores on my PC at the moment, which is very inconvenient. I normally love this app and would love to get back to using it!

Streak for the cash needs improvement. My dad and I have both had problems with making picks we don't want. When we are scrolling through the list of picks, one of our tap&drag actions on the screen will actually select a pick. I'm pretty sure when this happens, the animation to turn the pick yellow doesn't happen, or maybe it happens off screen because we are scrolling down the list. We weren't trying to select it, we were just trying to scroll. I'd really like it if this was fixed. Other than that, the app is pretty good. During fantasy football season it was a bit annoying that the app would load to streak for the cash and I would have to wait for the "loading picks" to finish before I could switch to the fantasy football portion and update my lineup. A bit stressful when it's 1 minute to kickoff and you want to make a change to your roster before the lineup locks. Other than that, pretty good app.

Ads are ruining the experience.. This is my second year playing fantasy. I actually don’t mind most of the interface, although some changes could obviously improve it. Notifications would be nice. When trades are offered, I have no way of knowing they’re there unless I tap on “Roster” and see a badge icon waiting for me. My biggest complaint is that the ads are too much. When there is an update on a player, I can opt to watch a brief segment on said player. Every video I try to watch, I’m met with the same exact irrelevant 30 second ad. I don’t mind watching the ads once or twice, since it’s a “free” platform and they need to make their money somewhere. The problem for me is when I want to watch 10+ player videos, and I’m met with the same, unskippable 30 second ad. After watching the ad, it should give you an option to skip the ad after 10 seconds. Even better, if you watch the ad once, maybe skip over the remaining ads for a certain amount of time? I know I’m asking Disney to give up their greed, in a time where they’re taking huge financial hits on multiple fronts, but there is no reason this app could not be the one fantasy app to rule them all. I firmly believe that with just a few changes to the app, they could really own the market with fantasy.

Good But Could Be Elite.. The app works well for the most part, there stems a few glitches here and there. My issue with the app, (football specifically) is that there are so many features that should be added and improved on. The LM’s need to be able to do a lot more from this app. A few of those include, upholding trades and setting a draft order. You are unable to do these things on the app for some reason. Also the app should include a dynasty feature where teams can trade and stockpile future draft picks right on the app. This would make it a lot easier to run a dynasty from the ESPN app and bring a new crowd of fantasy players to the app. Another is adding a 3+ team trade machine. A lot of users want to be able to make a trade with multiple teams at once. Drawing it up from the notes isn’t cutting it, simply add a 3+ team trade machine on the app to make quick and precise trades amongst multiple teams. I want to see more effort into the experience on the app.

Just try another fantasy app. The app crashes frequently and sometimes just won’t load. I’ll start the app and it says “loading your roster” then thirty seconds later it says it’s “still loading and thanks for your patience.” Soon it fails, asking you to check internet connection and retry. I click retry and the same things happen, two loading screens and the retry button. I’ve been stuck in this loop a dozen or more times and the only solution I’ve found is to either wait until it’s fixed (which could take hours, as I write this it’s been 10+ hours since I could use the app) or delete the app and reinstall it. This is the type of thing I expect from a new or fledgling developer, not one trying to pay their way to best fantasy app on the App Store. If you want an app that works consistently, you’re better off looking somewhere else. I will be doing everything in my power to get my leaguemates to change our fantasy website of choice next year.

Slow and Freezes. Out of the three fantasy sports apps I use, ESPN is by far the worst. It is slow when opening and sometimes just freezes on a white screen. Even the app will say ‘Seems to be taking longer than usual to load’ but that, ironically, is the usual. Even once it does load, the home screen is my matchup for that week and if I want to look at anything in my league I have to go through that first which is an annoying extra step. There are many other inconvenient processes that seem like there are much easier ways to get what your looking for, such as draft results, etc. All in all, just not a the most user-friendly fantasy sports app out there.

ESPN Fantasy Basketball App 👎🏾. 2018 ESPN Fantasy Basketball App has been just horrible. I like this platform because it tends to be easier to manage (I’m a commissioner). You just can’t have an app that lets you edit your lineup then save your lineup only to find out that your lineup did not get saved. I’ve lost a matchup because D. Fox was on my bench. I set my lineup that morning as i usually do. Didn’t check it until games were under way. Fox dropped 49 fantasy points and i lost that week by 22. Now i have to save my lineup and check it thrice throughout the day. For some reason ESPN decided to only allow 4 veto votes maximum. I like to have it at 6 votes to veto which was allowed years past. Now I have to make it a LM vote and I’ll take the veto votes personally via text or phone call. I shouldn’t have to do this extra leg work. And too often the live scores are not correct. Part of the fun is watching the live scores. I’ll know 3 of my players have produced points but the app will indicate they haven’t even played yet. 2018 ESPN Fantasy Basketball app dropped the ball...

Pick’em Update. I wanted to provide some feedback to the updates/changes made to the PigSkin Pick’Em format. I’m not one to generally reach out but there was some changes made that are making this season’s experience very poor. I’ve already researched other apps for next season. I’ve had a pickem group with ESPN for 10 years and multiple people from my group have expressed frustration as well. 1) Once the games kickoff you cannot see the scores of the game as they are in motion compared to your picks. We are forced to go look at the scores outside pickem and the compare with what your picks were to see how you are doing mid game. This was previously not the case and is a poor user experience. 2) Points - I’m unsure why the scoring went from 1 to 10pts per game. It just seems to take up more space by adding a 0 in the number vs knowing 1pt per game aligned with the number of games that week. 3)Layout to make picks. The new format takes up too much space as opposed to the old layout which had the games nicely fitted to the screen. Currently you can see maybe 2 games whereas previously you could see 5 or 6. 4)Weekly Tiebreakers - way to change how it’s been done for many years with zero communication. I’m definitely going elsewhere with my league next season. This has been such a poor user experience.

Meh at best overall but looks nice. Load times are unnecessary and the ads make me wish I was using sleeper. Slick aesthetic design but adds in the middle of my matchups page is a dealbreaker for me. I don’t come here to get hoodwinked into buying things taken from info off my phone and shoved in my face on my fantasy app of all places…. I come here to escape that stuff and play ffb. Highly disappointed with that aspect but I gave it 2 stars bc the app looks nice and is aesthetic but overall clunky and jam packed with adds. Its not that this app is terrible its just sleeper is soooo much faster diverse wayyy more cutomizable and streamlined(smooth) and geared solely towards ffb not jamming cookie ads in my face and looking cool although that’s a nice touch. There’s no comparison though. Just feels like it was designed by corporate suits(which I’m guessing it was) and what they think a ffb app should be not by people who actually play ffb. Tolerable functioning and looks cool so it could be worse but on the flip side being espns app could and should be elite. Not trying to blast y’all. Just being honest. Thanks

Can’t get into the app. I love playing fantasy football with my friends and it’s great when it works, but ever since few months ago, the app never lets me load in. Every time it tries, it loads for awhile but then says I don’t have a internet connection even when I do. There are other people having this problem also, so can you please look into it. I really miss looking at it on mobile rather than pulling it up on my computer all the time. Other people seem to be having the same problem with opening the app with Apple IPods. The message says, “Unable to load the ESPN Fantasy app. Please ensure you have a functioning internet connection and try again.” And then on the bottom of the screen it says P5.2. This app used to work perfectly and I loved playing with my friends, but now I have to log into the computer every time I want to check fantasy. Please fix! I am not the only one having problems getting in.

ESPN Fantasy App. Our league has been together for twenty years on another site. This is the first year we moved to ESPN. While many of us start our fantasy careers in our 20’s, the power of technology has allowed us to stay together into our 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Note to Millennials: You will never have more free time than you do now. Once you get married, have kids, juggle careers, become active in the community you have less and less time to take care of high priorities like your fantasy team. I appreciate the resources made available prior to our the auction draft. I am grateful for two minute (or less) drills on injuries or free agent pick ups. I like Matthew Berry, Field Yates, and Stephania Bell equally well (although I wish Stephania would talk about routes more). I like the rankings that include Mike Clay and Eric Karabell. If the playoffs were held today in our ten team league I would be in, but we all know a lot can happen over the next nine weeks. Was amazing! Small changes have made it worse. I really hope someone that works on the app actually sees this and takes it to heart because I use the app every single day. My 2 biggest issues stem from changes that were made to the app in the prior months and the first of the 2 is the inability to uphold trades as an LM from the app. This used to be possible from the activity screen but it is no longer an option and forces LM’s to have to go on the website and uphold trades from there. The second issue is the “Interested In” section of all free agent waiver pools in each fantasy sport shows everyone how many people are interested in a player. I used this feature to track players that I was in fact, interested in, but I can no longer do that and have to keep a notes section open in my phone just so that other members of my league don’t see that someone else is interested in said waiver player. This was never an issue before but an update changed this so all I ask is for this to be changed back! Other than these 2 things this app is amazing and it is so easy to manage all fantasy sports in one place, please make these 2 changes it would mean a lot! Thank you!

Less Than One Star. I can’t rate an App that doesn’t function, but I will try. ESPN has really bombed this year. They used to set the standard for all fantasy sports. Now are a smoking dumpster fire! This app rarely functions. It just will not download on anything approaching a consistent basis. This problem is mirrored in the actual website, which is also unreliable and difficult to use. It’s a real shame. ESPN Fantasy used to be top notch. Over the summer they made changes- all bad. Hey guys, if you are listening you need to know that you are alienating your users. Our basketball leagues have already started so we are stuck, but if something doesn’t change soon, there will be a mass exodus to Yahoo next season.

Ads cause it to crash. Typical. A multi-million dollar enterprise (owned by Disney, no less) looks for another stream of nickels. The solution? Market an app to fantasy football players and do NOTHING to improve their experience. Instead, focus on FORCING users to watch more ads. ESPN’s focus on advertising revenue through an otherwise usable app means you’re going to see force closes during or after your ad watching experience (you know, the whole reason you downloaded the app? To get a constant sales pitch for irrelevant crap?). The last “update” introduced a thirty second app on startup with NO ability to exit. SOME UPDATE. Greedy jerks. I can’t even view player updates without advertisements shutting the app down. Focus on the user, not ways to make a few more pennies at their expense. A good company can balance the trade-off between revenue and experience well. ESPN doesn’t even try and the force close, app failures only make me want to stop trying with them.

Fantasy Hockey. Espn should be embarrassed as how portly this app performs. It’s slow, info is unbelievably inaccurate and they continuously get starting goalie info wrong. Espn fantasy hockey also does a very poor job at keeping players info up to date and they make it extremely hard to run a fantasy league. There have been countless times where there are players who are injured that espn has not recognized as injured and have them as healthy. It’s pathetic I will be moving my league onto another platform for next season. Oh and the absolute worst thing is when you set your lineup and click save, it doesn’t even save the updated lineup. I’ve have this happen on 5 different occasions where team owners have messaged me saying they put certain players in their lineup and when they go check there lineup later that day, some or all of those players are on the bench, even when they put those players in their lineup and clicked the “save button”. If you couldn’t already tell this is a pretty serious league and ESPN is not equipped for real fantasy leagues and managers. Overall, espn is a NO GO for fantasy hockey. No way football is any better. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

There’s no way to communicate with other players!. This is the first review I’ve ever left in my life, just because this is so frustrating. If I want to make a trade there is zero way to just ask them hey who do you want for this guy? You don’t know who they value, who they want, where they want to upgrade so you’re left just sending random players/proposals. I tried attaching comments in a trade proposal only to find out that they don’t show up in the app or the email. If you try to post a message on the “talk smack” board, it doesn’t notify/alert or even put a little icon saying that someone posts something, so nobody ever checks it. I try to send a message directly to the person to talk smack, they get no notification. I post on the league message board, same thing. Unless you specifically go in and look at it, there’s no way to even know anything is there. I’m just trying to find a way to communicate with the other owners just to start a Facebook message or group but nobody even knows those messages are there. It looks like the default option for receive email is off too, because I had to toggle mine on, so I can’t even get a message to my commissioner. Talk about frustrating.

Likes dislikes. The things I like better on other sites. To be optional. Where you can choose to use as commissioner. Injury reserve option to save a bench spot. With the league getting more injury prone this is nice. The decimal system that yahoo uses is nice so that there are no or very rarely tied games. Also you could have more/better tie breaking options if that is not possible. Waiver rules are kinda basic and not really great. I have 16 team family league, I can speak for all of us on these ideas. We are considering using a different service next year. Positives I think the layout and overall performance/functionality of the application is great. Easy to navigate and use regardless of your technical expertise. The drafting and connecting with remote players drafting from out of town is good. I use my iPad application primarily and have had no problem getting around and using it. This will be our 7th year using this product as far use and functionality no problems. Some of us are good will computers and some are not, all have been comfortable using it. Just a few more of the options I listed above would make the experience much better. Thanks for time and listening. Thank Ben K

Football position expansion. I think that there should be a Punt and Kick Returner position in football, and perhaps a punter too, my idea is however many net yards there is on a punt, punt yards-return yards should be .1 points. And then kick/ punt returners having .1 per yard and 15 for a touchdown because of how rare a TD on a punt or kick return is. Another position that is a bit less likely but may work is an O line, hear me out. Maybe a scoring system could be just however many rushing yards their team has, but there would also be minuses for sacks, negative yards, and penalties like holding, false start and ineligible receiver downfield. One last thing but this one is about a new league game, golf. There are many websites to do this with, but what I am thinking is instead of having occasional games for Streak or betting, you can have an actual league game, you draft 20 golfers, and each tournament the players you draft will play, and if some of your players don’t make the cut or withdraw from the tournament then you can pick some players with a budget of around 1000 coins or points or whatever and the better players have a higher cost. This might be hard but It would be cool to have, thanks.

(I know it’s long but please read) I love this app, but it could improve. I am in a fantasy baseball league with my uncle, brother, and grandpa. We have a ton of fun on this app, but it’s not perfect. It has occasionally logged us out of the account. Also, as our draft approaches, we are trading picks, and we have to make a weird maneuver to make it work. We have to tell the other who to draft then trade who we got at the other slot. It would be a lot easier if there was just a way to trade picks. Also, the logging out glitch is bad. I already mentioned it, but it really messes it up that Mike Trout can ride the bench for a season while putting up career stats because you can’t remember your password. That’s all I have to say, but don’t think because of my critiques that it’s a bad app. Far from it. We love it, but these are some edits that might need to be considered.

League manager tools. My only true complaint, and it’s an annoying one, is that I don’t have all the league manager tools that are available to me from the normal browser on this app. This wouldn’t be too bad if it didn’t automatically send me to the ESPN fantasy app every time I tried to just use the browser. So if I ever need to do something from my phone, I have to delete the app, then go to the website, then fool around with making sure I’m not accidentally clicking the wrong thing, which happens a lot from the phone browser since it isn’t specialized for phone browsers. I either need to do it from my laptop or struggle through that whole process from my phone, and my laptop isn’t always available to me. If that is fixed, ESPN would easily take the cake as the best fantasy app

ESPN MAILING IT IN ONCE AGAIN. Yeah I know it’s a free app but it’s as if they don’t even care to improve it with anything but an aesthetic upgrade every now and then. Sure a couple of functional changes happened last year but they didn’t make the app more user friendly. The stat research on the app is flat out garbage. And their draft room and preseason player breakdowns are a joke. For ex: 2020 B Ball app doesn’t have adequate or even remotely accurate stat projections. During my draft I wanted to see what Kyrie Irving’s projections for this upcoming season would be and they were obviously not his projections. Other starting caliber centers have zero RB as their per game projections. That’s ridicoilso. You’re ESPN. At least get that right. Also, as league manager I can’t do anything from my phone. I have to get on the full desktop to adjust settings in my league. Speaking of which, I have a friend who started his first league this season and made one mistake in his roster settings pre-draft. It’s impossible to adjust roster positions and such after the draft. Why is that so hard to do? Why not expand LM ability to sculpt each league to his or her liking? How much money does ESPN have? With all these advertisers I imagine their fantasy sports brings in some money. Maybe pay to really deliver an incredible app next year ESPN? Already looking forward to next season on a different app and this season hasn’t even started yet.

Please fix Fantasycast changes. I guess ESPN and Disney like to follow the saying, “If it ain’t broke, break it”, because that’s effectively what they have done with their app. They changed Gamecast so you don’t have an easy way to view all of the matchups across the NFL, and you can only view the game for that players matchup. Who thought this was a good idea? Gamecast made ESPN at least somewhat competitive with other fantasy platforms because you could easily follow games across the league in real time. But now the interface is such a mess and much more difficult to navigate. Due to executive incompetency I would guess, the Love/Hate column is now only available through the ESPN+ paid subscription, which is heinous beyond belief. Additionally, the fantasy draft UI on PC has really gone backwards in its usability, interface, and design. It’s really sad because I have used the ESPN for most of my fantasy football career, but the decisions made in this last year and the much better fantasy football app alternatives have made it so I will not be using this app again next year.

Final straw? Quite possibly. Every year, this app/ESPN Fantasy site in general somehow manages to be WORSE. First, it was only being offered half the league interface that continued to be available in a web browser, which was so unforgivably obtuse that it confounds the mind, made worse throughout all these years that it has never been corrected. But ESPN REALLY lost its way when the merger of all fantasy sports into one app happened. And we couldn’t fathom it would, that it even could, become worse. Yet, here we are, 2019, and every single year, you guys find some astonishingly unexpected way to muck it up further. This season, the most appalling slap in the face to your loyal users I’ve ever seen isn’t even within the app, it’s platform-wide: the deletion of league histories and the deletion of league trophies WITHOUT WARNING TO YOUR USERS. Disloyal. Disrespectful. Dishonorable. Despicable. Every year, our league debates leaving ESPN. Every year, support grows for finding a better service. This year, ESPN may have already secured the necessary votes for our league to go into 2020’s auction (our 12th year) elsewhere.

Changes to consider. (1) All commish league power tabs Should allow access capabilities for smart phones not just pc. (2) ESPN should make a draft tracker (smart phone capability) as to a select a scoring system then use at the fantasy draft (for offline drafting) as a tool for commish/teams to use as a “live” cheat sheet & possible loader with editable powers for the commish to transfer to the league office. (3) Allow a “cheat sheet template”to create a (editable) create your own cheat sheet to use for all types of drafts even online auto drafts. I would Appreciate (also everyone) {across all fantasy sports} that the programmers can make these changes to Make ESPN the lead dog in the fantasy industry not just the NFL Thank You for bringing these issues up at 1 of your meetings. App error. App used to work fine, however recently now I get stuck on a blank white screen and now need to re-install the app anytime I want to check my fantasy league. Very frustrating, please fix ASAP!

Can’t access the app. Have been using the app for years with no issues. It now has a banner asking me to update the app, but I can’t get iOS 13 on my phone to update this version. There is no way to remove this banner, and therefore no way to access the app. Please fix the app to be able to remove this banner so I can use the app

Pretty good. The app gets better each year with new features released along the way. Have noticed recently that the ad banner on the my team page is awkwardly positioned blocking access to the menu headings. Other than this, a pretty good experience for fantasy basketball.

Fantasy football. You really really need to add half point ppr to fantasy football, it’s the best way to play fantasy football by far, all the other sites have it, you only have full ppr and standard

Great app but trading is hard When you are on your roster page you have to see a small thing on the top right corner that says pending moves When you get sent a trade it adds a small 1 next to the pending moves icon and you could just mistake that for a waiver wire transaction You should show trade requests as soon as you open the app just like it shows the scores from last weeks game Please fix It would be so much easier to send and accept trade

No Contact For Bugs. There is no contact to send through if there is an error in the app.. it has bugged out and hasn’t counted two of my players scorers and even though I’ve sent emails none of the emails are monitored. Can someone please get back to me about this !

First tome fantasy player. I know NBA, but using that knowledge to build a well oiled team is a learning process. This App is fairly comprehensive, most importantly making it simple to view a players information and statistical trends easily and quickly. The lag between selecting and claiming a player is more IRL than I like, as I feel a ‘fantasy’ format should learn more to playability.

Unstable. It is a great app but it’s very unstable. Every week it crashes and I can’t see the results. Ironically I am typing this review inside the app but cannot see the text I am writing. Fix the bugs ESPN!!

Awful. Do they intentionally make it hard to log in?

Stats don’t match. Stats don’t match on the daily stat view with the players actual stats. Got played that are out that show up with active stats.

Not as good as last season.. Fantasy is still fun and it’s a free app so I’m not gonna completely rubbish it. But it’s really clunky this season, updates on players are provided way behind when rotowire provides them and players come off waivers at what seems like a different time every day.

Buggy and useless. This app seems like it was made 10 years ago. It more buggy then any app I have on my phone. Twice this year I’ve had another players roster show up in my IR list and I haven’t been able to move players ahead of games. It makes ESPN look bad.

Fantasy - Poor Platform. Our NBA fantasy league decided to run with this platform. It is clunky at best. PC layout is poor with scrolls when not needed. Statistics and game counts do not work properly.

Good, but could be better.. NBS Fantasy is awesome, this App is okay. The live scoring in this App is great, and the highlights are good too. A few improvements would make it fantastic: 1- a better way to cap total team games for the matchup. (We need to count all games up to the cap (eg: 30 games for the week) and then drop out the lowest scoring game in that 30 if a player has a higher scoring game before the week ends. It would make matchups closer and fairer and remove the “I’ve got no chance as they have five more games this week”. 2- Add a “Fill Roster” Button (like Yahoo) 3- Add an “Optimise Lineup” button (like NFL Fantasy) 4- Have the ability to switch between the “Players” tab and the “Roster” tab without each resetting to the default screen every time. When we are looking at a particular set of players and want to check our roster, we then have to enter all of the criteria again. 5- Add a “Hide Game Scores” option for those of us who want to see the fantasy scores but avoid the game results to watch later.

Not updating with the times !. This will be our last season with ESPN. Can’t do any draft-round-keeper-sacrifice. Can’t do the draft between 5 and 11pm Australian eastern standard time. Will be moving elsewhere next year as espn seems to have no interest in improving the platform

Fix the results view! Fix the top performers!. Decent app for baseball, but one thing that kills me. The results view, which shows games in progress, is useless. The view is 3/4 junk, like your team name and menus, with 1/4 left for the important stuff like seeing how your players are faring on the day. I don’t even use it, just go into the roster view where you can view more than 3 players at a time. Top performers, which is shown when you open up the app, never fails to show a guy who went 1-4 with a K, while someone else went 4-5. Annoying and useless.

ESPN fantasy basketball. The app and the website have really taken a backward step in terms of interface, ease of use and visually this year. Our league are considered using another provider next season.

Fix your system!. Great app, have been using it for years but this year has been terrible. The desktop version is horrible, you can’t even see updates on players or any links to games or a players schedule for the week. In both the app and desktop version, updates are coming through late and players who are clearly injured aren’t being listed as out until after FA transactions can be decided. This is just a few things that need fixing.

Yahoo is “Google”, ESPN is “Bing”… like they’re a competitor sure, but you have to be a real masochist to use this one.

ESPN SCAMMING ME FOR $12. I accidentally unsubscribed from ESPN email’s on my phone last night and now this company is trying to make pay $12 for Disney+ to get my ESPN account back when i don’t ever use Disney+ to even begin with!! If you’re reading this and you don’t have this app downloaded, i would strongly suggest you don’t download this app as these people are trying to make someone pay $12 for Disney+ which again i don’t use, to get their account back!! ESPN is a bunch of scam artists and i can promise you that in the future i won’t be recommending this app to any of my friends.

Advertising spam. They have improved the app a ton since I started using it 7 years ago however recent updates including the latest one has went overkill with ads. A new feature lets you set the likelihood you will trade a player however an ad pops up EVERYTIME you change it. It is completely unnecessary there are already ads all over every other page from before. Grow up espn no one cares about the crappy click bait.

Yahoo is better. Espn doesn’t have a “start active players” button. It does not rank players. And the app is just clunky. Yahoo is better.

Miller lite. As someone who is struggling to not drink I think you guys should consider backing off a little bit on the miller lite advertising. It’s really tough seeing “ITS MILLER TIME” at the end of every week when your trying really hard not to drink. Just a suggestion.

Find a better platform. Seriously. It is astounding how much worse this app has become over the past couple years. Unreliable point tracking, inexplicable roster locks, complete lack of ability to manage league settings within the app... I’d feel ashamed if I was in any way associated with this cash-out of a platform. Move to a different one, you’ll be amazed at how much better virtually any other platform is than this one.

Hockey. The goaltenders in hockey getting points and shutout points when they don’t finish the game isn’t right, needs to be fixed.

Great app but. You guys should add discussions under player profiles so owners can chime in with one another and it’s a more interactive experience like how yahoo does it.

Terrible compared to yahoo. Why is there no “auto lineup “ feature. The fact I have to manually move EVERY single player every day every week is absurd. Yahoo Fantasy lets you start all players and then you can make the few adjustments. Another thing. Players just don’t get the INJ tag??? I’ve had players injured for weeks and I can’t put them in the injured spot to get a new player. The app is atrocious to be honest. People who think it’s good haven’t used Yahoo.

Lots of issues with the product not the app. The only issue I have with the app is that the news section no longer shows questionable or any other tags in the description anymore. I don’t see the analyst reports on a lot of players’ performances anymore. Issue with the product: SSPD players can’t be put in IR. IR doesn’t allow DTD players either. Very late to update injury statuses. Many players that are in the NBA can’t be added because ESPN takes forever to add players even they played in the NBA be previous year.

Worst crash app of all my apps. You know it , click on the app and it doesn't load , says you need functioning internet , I have very good wifi but it's not enough for this app on my iPhone . Data theft ?

What year is it?. Anyone voting 5 stars has obviously never used another app, Or definitely doesn’t play in an auction league. You can set your keepers, (once you figure out how which in itself is dumb) but you can’t see the player salaries from that screen, because who would want that information? As a commissioner telling people in your league that you’ll have to wait until you’re in front of a computer in order to do half of what you need to do because the app is severely limited makes me want to move to Sleeper.

Easy to use. The app is intuitive to use, but I wish you could choose to pin a particular league as the homepage when you open the app. It’s slightly inconvenient to have to navigate to it every time you open the app.

New update this morning. Now it says I have to update my operating system to 12.4 (from 10.3) or it won't let me on the site. Currently in both a baseball and football pool and unable to access my teams! What a brutal site, screws us in mid season!!

STFC 1Star. Fantasy sports section 5Stars. FOR YEARS i have used this app as my primary ESPN Fantasy sports app and it has never failed to get better and better each year! The fantasy portion of the app is the best of any app on the app store hands down!!! SFTC: streak for the cash used to be its own individual app and ran much better, it was integrated early 2017 into this app and since then it is too confusing to use, when the app opens the streaks available to be picked arent all of the matchups available!! I have to go to a separate that has logos and too much other stuff going on. I miss the text only format with check marks from the original app. Ive gone from a religious daily SFTC player to not playing in months because its too difficult to navigate quickly and make picks.

zero stars would be my rating for this. Why they felt the need to change/update the app is beyond me. If you can’t make it better you don’t do anything at all! Nothing works, I would rather keep my own stats on a chalkboard them deal with this abomination of an app. Desktop version is not any better. Pop ups everywhere impede the ability to click on what you need to click on and if you somehow magically can get to the button underneath the pop-up it does not take you where you want to go. So happy for baseball so angry for this site. ESPN should be better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great app!!. Great app love the scoring system and will continue to use this one better then the nfl mobile and all other fantasy sites in my opinion but I do wish they had the option on the mobile device to change all of the settings in the league as manager. As the manager I would like to be able to change more options to the league then just the draft settings and edit team managers other then that it is thee best sports fantasy app out there I highly recommend it and would give it 5 stars if it had the option to edit more options as a manager in the league via mobile device

Such an inferior fantasy app. Reasons why Yahoo is the much better fantasy app: 1) standings update at midnight (PST) on Monday night (I don’t trust my ability to do math- tell me I’m right that I moved up in the rankings!), 2) new matchups show up Tuesday morning (why the hell do I want to relive last week ALL day Tuesday?), 3) push notifications when anyone on team scores (for those rare Sundays I’m not glued to RedZone), 4) more options for comparing available players (by percentage ownership, total points scored for season, etc), 5) ability to set future lineups (bc I’m OCD like that), 6) ability to see how player has done vs projection for whole season (bc I don’t trust either app’s projections), and 7) easier to get to matchup preview screen (extra steps annoy me!). The only thing I like better about ESPN is that the screen doesn’t lock when the matchup is live. Sorry ESPN, you have a lot of work to do!

Works ok but with a few changes it could really rock. Wish I could merge the great aspects of Yahoo and ESPN. When looking at the waiver wire, Yahoo lets you see your guys (only not all avail) with the rest of the free agents. I like you can see the next 5 or 6 weeks on ESPN, but want to compare my guy vs waivers on those aspects. I also like some aspects of the matchup on yahoo, a bit more intuitive getting from place to place. Also there is no way to know how the schedule is set for two division, 12 team league. Our league winner last year is playing the worst team twice while the rest of us have harder opponents. There should be an option to have better teams with harder schedules outside the division.

Needs Bug Fix!!!. I have being playing fantasy football through the ESPN app now for around 7 years. I absolutely love the app and it’s easy to use. However, there is a bug right now that I don’t even know how it works. When I am in the fantasy football tab home page and there are videos recommended for me, when I click on them, they will not play. It’s not my WiFi, it’s not my data plan, i don’t know what it is but it is definitely something wrong with the app. What’s weird tho is that one I try to play that video and it doesn’t work, a playlist of videos will show up beneath that are basically in queue to play. If I click one of those videos at that time, then the video will play, no problem. It’s so annoying because that means that only way I can watch these videos is if they show up in the playlist after I try to play a different video. ESPN, please fix this!!!!!

No way this app averages 5 stars. Probably the worst mobile app I’ve ever used and gets progressively worse. Clearly ESPN is paying Apple to clear up their average review score. Anyone who’s used this app for more than 2 minutes knows that the UI is absolutely not intuitive and that scores are wrong constantly. Don’t get me started on their probable starters being wrong all of the time. Also, the app takes forever to load any data, even on 5G. This app must have been written by an intern or something. How about you guys cache some player data or something? Am I really downloading the whole player base when I load the app? Does that sound like something that’d help UX? Anyway, ESPN will never read this because they don’t care about their customers, but figured I’d put in my 2 cents. It’s alright ESPN, you’ll be out of business in 5-10 years anyway.

New updates are alright but…... They still don’t address many bugs that cause headaches. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to set your line-up only to log back into the app and see no changes have been saved, thus causing you to lose points OR when you try to make changes and the app tell you to “make changes in a future scoring period” whatever that means. So you quit the app, open it up again, THEN make adjustments and HOPE they actually saved. Takes away from the experience when you lose weeks by a number of points you SHOULD HAVE scored.

Morons. I have read some of the other review complaints and it sounds like a zookeeper handed out iPads in the monkey house. Being absolutely free, the app is great. Most of the complaints center around the users not acclimating themselves to all the buttons and bars and their uses. Learn the app before you gripe. 6 years ago! Wow. ESPN's updates always seem to cause more problems than improvements. The latest update apparently leaves older iPads behind. Launching the fantasy football app just tells me to update and current compatibility doesn't include my iPad4's iOS (which is 10.3.3). The only way I can access ESPN's app is thru my browser. I am dropping my rating to two stars because oversight or deliberate disregard for older operating systems is unnecessarily lazy and uncaring.

Needs Fixing on Football-side. I really like the app - when it works. It’s simple to use and filled with plenty of information. In saying that, about 2 weeks ago, something happened were you can’t (now) always find mock drafts that you’re interested in joining. People are waiting over 10 minutes to join one of the most common drafts (10 team, snake). There are clearly people interested in drafting, so why aren’t there more drafts being made available like they used to be? I’ve left feedback on the Twitter handle but nothing has changed since reporting this.

Decent, but needs work. I’ve been using Fantasy for a little under a year now, and I’ve enjoyed using it but it really needs some work done on its interface. Here are some problems I’ve found: 1) It takes a really long time to load 2) The live play-by-play (at least for Football) is horrible, as it always shows a bunch of wrong things in terms of what team is being shown, what is happening, etc. 3) Pretty often it will just say that it isn’t available even if I have full bars or wifi (or even both). 4) The interface from what I’ve observed is lacking in good design 5) I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem or not, but for me (at least in the football section) the IBM Watson trades are horrendous. Some of the most glaring issues are such as it gives previous trades back to me that I’ve already declined several times, and it always gives me really unrealistic and bad trades. Like trading my best player for a kicker or defense. Really bad stuff. I hope that you look into these issues more and take my advise seriously. If two or more of these are looked into in the near future, I’ll definitely change my review, but for the time being, I’m leaving ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Stop trying to force ESPN+. Our league has been together for five years now. Been using ESPN. The web version is a better. You have more control over everything. The apps is very bar bones. Before last year you could get information from the multitudes of ESPN personalities. Now they are pushing everything to ESPN + to get your information. The problem with that is you have to subscribe. What ESPN forgot is that because of the internet I can find any and all my information on many free sites. I will not pay for fantasy information. I do miss the Mathew Berry show and Secret Squirrel. But I’m not paying for it. Make the app function more like the web version. Stop putting all your information behind a subscription walls. All you are doing is driving your customers to other services.

Only thing going for the app is ESPN being in the name. I’ll start off by saying I have never written a review. I don’t think a review will do much but pretty much is my last ditch effort to get some sort of support and action on espn’s part. The app has so many bugs and freezes all the time. It’s been manageable the last couple years but seems like this year is easily the worst. I’m in multiple fantasy leagues and leagues will not show up at all. If you were to go the long way and get a link to a page inside of the league, it’ll prompt you with a message saying you aren’t authorized to view the league. I’m sure there are other issues but I’m not on most other parts. The app is only relevant because of ESPN’s name being attached to it. There are other fantasy leagues that are better with less bugs, better UI, and customization.

Restructure some aspects of the game. I’d like to be able to draft and trade individual defensive players. Here it is: Add 1 more scoring slot to the entire structure, take the flex and defensive slots and turn all of these into 3 individual defensive player slots (1 each for tackles/ends, linebackers, and secondary). Give points for tackles, blocked passes, forced fumbles, etc. This will also give each team 11 players. Also, give points to individual players that do well on special teams whether it’s scoring a touchdown, a decent return, onside kicks, causing fumbles, (give decent points to a kicker that tackles a kick returner) etc. To create more offensive flexibility, you could try turning 1 RB & 1 WR slots into 2 Flex options. Keep everything else as is. You could also maybe try adding a 12th slot for offensive lines, but I don’t think too many people would be interested in that.

ESPN Fantasy App NOT Updated before season. I’ve been using the Fantasy App for years on ESPN and not had any problems. But for the last year or so it feels like ESPN has done nothing to update the app other than add videos and ads that drain power. Now I’m ready for the next season of Fantasy Football and the app doesnt even have my updated team in my league. It feels like ESPN has done nothing to make this app worthwhile. Oh yeah, if you try to access your fantasy team FROM the ESPN website it sends you to the app that DOESNT have the updated roster. If they dont fix this problem soon, I might just switch to Yahoo moving forward

Crashing, glitchy & slow to stay up-to-date. This was the only app l’ve used for years to play fantasy football because I didn’t rly know of any other apps. This year the app has been nothing but constant crashing & reloads, not to mention the lack of staying current on inactive players. If a team confirms a player will be inactive for Sunday’s game on Wednesday, the other apps I use will put that player as ‘Out’. This app will designate them as ‘doubtful’ until before the game on Sunday which means you can’t move them to IR and pick up another player essentially wasting a roster spot which is crucial in my league w/a short bench & position limits. Oh yea, and the constant CRASHING of the app. This is the last season of football I’ll be using this app until I hear that it’s better.

Good, but could use some updates. ESPN’s app is probably the most user friendly of the 8+ I’ve used. Very well laid out, my #1 gripe is PLEASE take off all those stupid “join fantasy baseball”, “create a fantasy hockey lineup”, “English premier soccer draft” from the fantasy home dropdown at the top of the app where you select your teams. I don’t want to have to search through 10 dropdowns with my teams scattered randomly in the middle. This dropdown should ONLY be your teams. I understand this is most likely a money grab to support other leagues, but you should at least be able to delete them.

Possible improvements. i’ve been playing in your legs for several years and enjoy them, but over the past couple of years I have noticed some changes that have detracted from the fun. I used to be able to see a list of leagues, customized and other, but no longer see them. I used to enjoy playing in winners leagues or insiders leagues but they are no longer available. I used to be able to see a schedule of leagues out into the future so I could join one days or weeks ahead of time, but do not seem to be able to do so anymore. Why have you made these changes?

Small Updates this year and made the app more annoying to use. This app was perfect for fantasy’s football last year and before but all of the new updates they keep doing this year have made the app annoying to use. The most recent one they did with the color scheme makes it look like they’re trying to become the Yahoo fantasy app. It’s also more annoying to look up stats for players because they have all of the projections that are extra. Finally, the trade suggestion tool on the app is absolutely terrible and unrealistic. Nobody would ever accept 99% of the trades it recommends. ESPN is my favorite fantasy app because it’s user friendly but the updates are making it worse.

Complicated. This app is easily the most complicated app I use. The app works; it doesn’t crash, however, there is just too much going on. For instance submitting picks is much too easy to exit out. If you want to look at a game preview, it appears a new window pops up but if you exit out of said window you are exited out of your picks and you have to start all over! The organization of teammate ranks is too complicated, as well. There should be a weekly rank and an overall rank, however, they are smashed in one chart unless you want to select your group and then a drop-down for your team’s weekly scoresheet. People don’t want to have to go through a series of complicated steps for information. Please make info more easily accessed and user friendly.

Visually Horrific. Worst looking fantasy app ever which makes it difficult and annoying to use. It’s appearance frustrates me, makes me not want to use this app and ensures i will not use ESPN in subsequent leagues. First, the layout is unnecessarily busy and chaotic. Second, the font sizes used are way too small with no option to enlarge. The app is immune from enlarging the font on your phone or tablet. This is the only app that requires me to use my wife’s reading glasses. There’s plenty of open space on the page and i would suggest they use it to fit larger letters. Third, the muted blue and grey lettering does not offer enough contrast with either black or white background adding another reason it is difficult to read anything. At the very least please allow us to pinch zoom the screens. It may very well be the least user-friendly app i have ever used.

Great App but Fix Issues. Great app, seriously, it’s got a great interface, nice design, very up-to-date reports on players, all around, solid app. My complaint- aside from ads being way too long on the videos- is that ESPN does not address issues with the app very quickly at all. For example; there are times when I set my lineup, the app will falter when saving and I lose all my changes. Not a huge issue, but one that shouldn’t take months to fix! If ESPN would put some work into getting that- and other bugs here and there- resolved, I would comfortably give this app 5 stars.

The absolute worst fantasy football platform (and it’s not even close). When you first open the app and you get lost in its atrocious design and can’t find active player statuses on the matchup screen, you’re going to be annoyed. And then the first time the app doesn’t update players’ injury statuses before a game and you lose because of it, you’re going to be angry. And finally, the first time your lineup doesn’t save correctly and you start a player on IR because of it, you’re going to be furious. But when those failures happen again and again, and you lose the championship because of it, you’re going to want to launch your phone into the sun. Save yourself the heartache and misery and abandon this abomination of a fantasy platform forever. Trust me- you’ll be glad you did.

Could be better. The app is solid, but when compared to other fantasy apps it leaves a lot to be desired. It does not make sense why there are so many things we need to pull up the desktop browser for. Why can’t we do most things within the app? For example, you can’t push a trade through as a commissioner within the app. Competitors’ apps have much more functionality within the app alone. Also it’s 2021 can we please get a dark mode already? Preferably one that auto switches between light and dark like the ESPN app does.

Terrible. To whom it may concern, This is by far the worst app that has ever been created by human beings. I have to imagine that ESPN must still be using a system that operates on dial up internet, because wow. To the person that checks this app for bugs and doesn’t point out all the issues, how do you sleep at night? Fantasy football is a serious thing between my friends and I and you’ve somehow found a way to make it more frustrating. This app skips and crashes so often, I feel like I’m using a cell phone in a heavily wooded forest in 1994. Yahoo had 90 million accounts hacked last year and still manages to create a more functional fantasy football app. Great work. So what are you doing ESPN? How do you spend your time? You’re pretending to be a sports organization when you’re really just a baseless, copycat tabloid. Congrats on the Monday night football contract because that’s the only reason I’m still forced to associate with your brand. I want whoever is reading this to know that I could’ve have gotten much more poetic with this review but I haven’t the time nor the patience. So stop telling me how LeBron likes his eggs whites in the morning and fix this app, because in 2019, you’re most likely going to kiss another customer goodbye. Worst of luck, RC

Does what it says but capable of more.. This app is nice. It does what it advertizes. The UI is easy to use for beginners and rarely crashes. There are just a couple things it could use to improve. Thumbnail size pictures of the players for people using iPhone 5, 5s, or iPhone SE sized phones. I think you should display jersey numbers of the player in their basic bio (next to their position and health status). And the last thing i noticed could use a tweak is to add a badge notification, and perhaps and homescreen notification when someone posts in the dang league smack board chat. No one uses it because they barely know its there and there is no way to know any one used it unless they obsessivly check it. 4/5 stars.

This app is amazing!!. I really love this app! It is so fun to play fantasy football with your friends, because it is something fun you can do that really relates to the nfl. It is like playing Maden but you are all the same level. I also like to do the European soccer pickem, it is fun to see where you place with others around the world. Great app overall, and I have seen other reviews say it has to many adds, but trust me they're wrong, the adds don't get on the way of what your doing, and without adds there would be no app. So your should get this app💯/💯

This app is an actual dumpster fire anymore. My fantasy football league has been using exclusively ESPN for approximately the last decade or so. After this debacle of a fantasy season though, we’ve already decided that we’re done with this app. It takes, at the minimum, three separate occasions of clicking the app icon to actually get the app to pull up. When I’m finally able to access the app, I’m lucky if the app is able to run for more than five minutes without crashing. I have zero problems with this happening on every other fantasy platform that exists. I play fantasy hockey on the app too, yeah that’s not going to happen again, either. Literally every team in every league got deleted. You want an up and coming rookie who is just about to get called up from the AHL? Looks like you’ll have to wait two weeks for this player to be in your free agent pool, in the meantime “Unknown Player” will pile up points for....nobody. To summarize: The app doesn’t load when you want it to. It doesn’t continue to work when you want it to. ESPN’s team doesn’t care about fixing these issues. After several loyal years of using this app, I’m taking my fantasy gaming to Yahoo!. It’s significantly better than the dumpster fire that is the ESPN Fantasy App could ever even hope to be.

Waiver notifications, Ridiculous playoff format, etc.,.... 1) Why are no email notifications sent for waIver transactions like every other major FF app? Yahoo, NFL Fantasy, & Sleeper all do this. This is very problematic if you play in multiple leagues. There is a place to set & request them, but it mysteriously turns itself off on mine, & other players apps? 2) Free leagues have a two week playoff match? Why? No one else does this, & it forces you to play on the most worthless week of the NFL season...Week 17 when most of the playoff teams rest the best players. Please go to a 14 week season with the playoffs in weeks 15 & 16 like the rest of the free world...sheesh! 3) The app layout is very dated. You’ve been passed up by the others in regards to graphics and functionality. 4) Finally, for gods sake please add an IR spot! It’s the NFL....injuries happen all the time.

Multiple improvements needed. App is crashing when I try to go from "my team" to the "matchup" page The app is just OK. Luckily I also play fantasy baseball so it makes some sense. One star rating is mostly due to your inability to improve your draft software and other things. We want full control. I want to have a linear style, the options to have multiple drafts(rookies draft in linear format then snake draft for the remaining free agents) for one year, the ability to select where a keeper will be kept (5th round, 11th round, as opposed to just forcing them into my first two picks. With the app why is there no notification when some one posts to the message boards or the league manager posts a note. Why can't you just upload pictures from your phone for the team pictures? Changes these things and I will improve my rating.

The Draft. This year I’m playing Fantasy Football for about the 10th year. My son and I are going to watch “The League” a TV series as we play this year. I’ve won the Trophy twice, been runner-up twice and been in playoffs three other times. I’m 78 this year and my son still sez I surprise him with my weird pics. Like Cooper Cupp his rookie year. We really enjoy playing together and competing against each other. There is always a great bunch of guys to play against. I would recommend this activity to anyone of any age! Horrible. Let me start by saying it wouldn’t be hard to make this App great, but the problem must be the developers just don’t listen. First of all the Mock Drafts have to many Mocks Drafts that no one uses, I don’t know one person in a 8 player draft, the majority of leagues are 12 player PPR Snake drafts, unfortunately it is extremely hard to get into one because they fill up so quickly. By far the worst thing wrong with ESPN fantasy football is the lack of being able to put a keeper in any round but the first round. Example, I am in a league where you could keep 1 player drafted after the 7th round, problem is you can only do keepers in the 1st round. There is no reason the league manager should not be able to remove players prior to our draft and insert them on the team prior to the draft. Hopefully they listen someday.

App Keeps Closing. Have been using the ESPN app for a few years now for fantasy football. Not until this year have I had this problem. 80% of my attempts to get on the app fail, it completely closes and takes me back to my phone screen. Can we please get an update to fix this problem for IOS. I had an issue last night where i opened the application, went over to the streak game mode. As I was scrolling down to make a pick the app closed, so I leave it alone for another time. A few hours later I get a notification that my pick lost (a pick that I never picked). And it's quite upsetting, and I know it's just a game lol but I hope it's a bug that can be sorted out.

Issues on top of issues. A group of my buddies and I decided to do our annual football draft on here this year. We decided on a date and time for when we were going to have our draft, so being the league commish I set it. Low and behold the day of apparently there was no time set, so I tried setting it again, later that day everyone started asking me why there was no time set, so I went to go set it AGAIN... needless to say this continued to happen, and it showed that there was a draft time set on one of their computers, but for everyone else on the app there was no draft set. So giving up we made a new league with another person as commish. And now we are running into the issue that someone isn’t able to view anything in the league, ESPN needs to get their app on par with other fantasy sites, because this does not cut it.

Cheating Fantasy Owner. Is there a way to remove cheating owners? The owner in my league has done terrible trades with his friend to automatically go through so he could have a better roster. The trades also go through in less than a day so no one has a chance to veto the trade. The owner also does not allow other trades to go through which is not fair to the other managers. Is there a way to leave the league but you can not leave after draft but who would want to be in a league with a cheater like that. Also can this app change Taysom Hill to a Qb not Te.

Waivers and IR are horrible!. You list players as out and we move them to IR. It should be up to me when they are healthy enough to return. Instead on our waiver night you change their status to questionable and I loose my waiver claim to someone else and then loose the season. Then Sunday comes and they don’t play and you change their status to out..... wash, rinse, repeat!!!! It’s getting old, I’m the owner and manager of me team. It should be up to me to decide when they are healthy! At the very least they should not have their status changed until they have proven they can play! this flaw needs to be fixed! When we have an injury it puts us at a disadvantage and the health status compounds it and makes it worse so the best team rarely wins!!!!!

LM Tools. As a career fantasy player, ESPN has been the go to for my 6 year and running friend league. It’s been just fine and it’s the system I’ve gotten used to over the years. My biggest gripe with the app (as the commissioner of my league) is that the full LM tools palette is explicitly excluded from app. Normally this is a mild annoyance having to switch to your browser on your phone to use LM tools, but somewhere in the updates between the 2019 season and the 2020 season, ESPN has added the “convenient” feature of force opening the app anytime you tap fantasy on the espn website. This effectively makes LM tools inaccessible on mobile devices. The only way to work around this is to delete the app and then safari (or chrome, etc) can’t force open your app. Simple fix idea: add LM tools to the app.

Outdated UI, look at alternatives. ESPN was my go to app for fantasy football since 2014, but there was little improvement made over the years. It’s 2023 and the customer experience feels similar to what it was in 2014. Sleeper feels more intuitive from a live draft, mock draft, team management, and league management and commish tools perspective. Even Yahoo fantasy partially implemented Sleeper’s draft board experience. It’s not worth searching through help articles to find poorly placed league settings. Look at Sleeper if you want to start a new league or to migrate an existing ESPN league if you want an overall better fantasy football experience throughout the season. Also, ESPN’s customer care help chat is limited in what they can help with. Need info on league history? They can’t help you there.

Lack of info. I am shocked at the lack of basic information missing from this app, at least at this moment in time. There is no bye week shown anywhere that I can see or a schedule that I can look at. How are these basic features not easily accessible? I should be able to look at my roster at a glance and see the bye week, and once I select the player, a game schedule should be available at the very least. Even on the computer, why can’t I just scroll across the schedule view window instead of choosing the weeks at the “set lineup” area, and then the schedule scrolls 🤷‍♂️ maybe I’m just missing them as I’m getting used to this interface, but if it me this long to find it, then it’s not clear enough

waiting... still waiting. The app is great when it works but the reality is this app will never start. It takes 5 minutes and at least a dozen tries to get to see the match-up scores (the starting screen) and if you want to actually watch videos, read stats, or adjust your roster FORGETTA BOUT IT! ESPN has thrown away all intentions of making their fantasy football accessible when it has continually chosen to run their app off of a server from my grandmother’s house. The Watson stats are awesome though and running it on the computer works welt. Ultimately, to keep the app and ESPN fantasy successful, it needs to appeal to casual crowds by having an app that works and right now this app is RARELY functional. It used to work well though so I hope it’ll get faster in the future!

Video ads? What?. When it comes to fantasy platforms, this is not as intuitive as others I've used. I've refrained from leaving a review for awhile because i believe that just because I believe it may not be intuitive, some one else may find it to be. Also, just because the features are limited compared to other apps (no gif or image sharing in messenger, word limits on message board, annoying fantasy football analyst personalities, no recaps of games or stats to keep you engaged, just to name a few), doesn't mean someone else finds this app just perfect. What really did me in though was when they began showing mandatory video advertisements before checking your match up. That I think we can all agree is annoying. I will be suggesting to the commissioner that we change platforms next year.

Autoplay ads ruin this formerly great ap. This app used to be great. Within the last week they have started to force users to watch a 15 second ad before being able to do anything. Annoying? Yes-but not the end of the world. What is the end of the world: these ads force full volume on your phone regardless of your volume settings. My phone was on do not disturb, silent, and volume fully turned down. I opened the app to check my lineup during some down time while between seeing patients in the hospital and BOOM! Full volume ad. Could not have made me look worse in front of my attending. This is absolutely absurd. If they don’t fix this I will take my league of 8 years to another site as that is beyond intrusive and honestly a breech of user privacy. Clean it up ESPN-that is completely unacceptable.

Worse than previous versions. I had several issues with the app since it changed. I believe the change was just prior to the start of the 2019 MLB season. The Message Boards still do not work in the app, with only some of the messages showing up. Additionally on the website you can no longer see historical Message boards from past seasons. The app can also have other glitches from time to time that cause issues for our league and setting daily lineups. Additionally, this is the first year the app will not allow offseason trading. So our commissioner has to manually process all trades, which is an extra burden for him and slows down the process for the whole league.

Love the app and much more room for improvement. The app is amazing, I love it. They could add more features as well! In my opinion they should add a comment section under the videos about the players so you can see what other people also think and get different opinions! Another feature they should add are a start em/sit Em category with 2 players you can put and they should make it so you can submit it and other fantasy users can vote on who they think you should start and sit. They can get much more creative with the app and I feel like this will give them a much bigger grip hold on the fantasy community.

Doesn’t even compare to Yahoo Fantasy Football!. I’ve been playing fantasy football for 5 years now and have used the yahoo fantasy football app until now. I joined a league this year that uses the ESPN app and it’s nowhere near as user friendly as Yahoo. Navigating Yahoo is faster and easier and there are so many more features with Yahoo. Like comparing players, filtering the player results in several different categories and also points breakdown play by play. Hopefully ESPN reads their reviews and will make their app more competitive with others. For now, I plan on using Yahoo.

Did this team do any usability testing?. This app is absolutely littered with unnecessary content. I don’t need a feed of every piece of fantasy news (relevant or not) or even the 25 “news” videos specific to my team. Where it used to take 1 click, it now takes 3 or 4 to get to the overall scoreboard. And come on with the swipe actions on the ‘box score’ screen; you don’t need to limit that action just to a specific area at the very top near the header. Finding out which players are with which team is extremely arduous, clicking in and out of different screens. So once you find that info, the player info only contains the team abbreviations for the “team name”. That’s about as useful as only having one sock. If the user can enter their team’s abbreviation, it may not necessarily be that relevant... Tab bars on top of tab bars are never a great idea, but this app has then in spades just showcasing how poorly optimized the menu is. The amount of exploration just to find a certain piece of content isn’t entertaining, rather disappointing. Is it so hard to add links to pertinent content on a similar page? Ask for some budget and do some UAT. Or - if you did - really scrutinize what you gave them to test. Because this app has taken a serious step back.

Great app with some flaws. 1. It hasn’t been as much lately but 1 reoccurring thing is sometimes it won’t load. It’s not just my device, I play with friends and they experience the same issue as me. It happens randomly but could effect a last minute change if you can’t log in. 2. Lineups don’t really go as you put them. This isn’t really a big deal as it still plays the guys you want but big matchups with similar teams can’t put their best guys next to each other. For instance if I put Najee in my RB1 spot and Kamara in my RB2 spot, it will revert to putting Kamara in the RB1 spot and Najee in the RB2 spot. Again it’s very minor but would be nice to really see how your team stacks up

Great Service, Terrible App. I’ve been playing fantasy football for years through ESPN. I’ve had relatively few issues with their desktop interface, but this app is incredibly bugged. To even open the app I have to first open and close it multiple times, otherwise I get an endless screen of “loading your team and matchup data”. Then, there’s about a 50% chance that I get a screen saying I’m not connected to the internet even though I’ve tried multiple WiFi and LTE connections. Then if by some miracle I can actually get on the app, I am completely unable to even log into my account. I try to access the login page but can’t even get the email/password box to load. Great service when working properly, but the app itself is incredibly flawed and since this is a review of the app I can’t give any more than 1 star. Had to resort to chrome to fix my team this week.

Winner, winner, Chicken dinner. When I read these reviews from people that give ESPN Fantasy a bad review all I can say is that they must be losers. So the app was down a couple of times. It was back up in no time at all. I also think that it helps when you have a phone that was made after 2010. Anyway I will keep playing and hope that all the cry babies move on. I hear that Yahoo is pretty good , you get to play everyone in your league each week with the top scorer getting a W while everyone else gets an L. Great strategy right? Thank you ESPN for putting this together it’s been fun.

Continually getting worse. ESPN seems to feel the need to change this app every season, which is annoying in and of itself since as a result I have to familiarize myself with a new format each year instead of just being able to navigate to where everything used to be. What is worse now, however, is the loading time. The current iteration of this app takes upwards of 2-3 minutes to load. That might not sound like a long time, but try starting at blank screen for 150 seconds and it will seem a lot longer than you think. This used to be the best FF format, but since they can't seem to leave it alone it has become highly frustrating. I will be trying to convince my league to switch for 2020.
