Irritating audio video ad.. Unable to open this app where we need silence.. Advertisements are important but it doesn’t mean you disturb others and make money.

Ads are getting out of control. Really guys?? Hate the banner ads at the top and bottom. Please come up with a better way to display ads. Even better, provide an option to remove the ads. I will gladly pay. Otherwise a well rounded app.

Money minded. Whenever you start reading the news, the advertisements overpower your phone without your permission and comes in full screen with audio and video. Don’t you have a minimum common sense to make out how embarrassing it is???

Great user interface ,improved a lot ,but news are biased. Great malayalam news app ,but few articles are sounds like biased ,but in order to get up to date news ,not a bad app

Disgusting App. This app does political pimping for a sect namely ‘A’ group of Indian National Congress. The news published on this app is nothing but a bunch of lies targeted at the ruling LDF coalition in KL. Character assassination of the leaders of LDF, glorification of a few Congress leaders it backs, voyeuristic journalists employed to write blatant lies about CPM are some of the salient features of this app. This so-called news app is a blot on other news apps. This shady app is requested to stop being the boot lickers of the most corrupted party in India which spearheaded and orchestrated genocide in Delhi in 1984- the Punjabi genocide!!!

Too many advertisements.. This APP has too many advertisements. Unable read even one news, ads keep popping up all the time. Worse news app ever.

My iphone gets heated up. The content is good, good to read, but the pages takes time to load and phone gets too hot to hold. Once I close the app the phone cools down, has no problem with any of other apps in my phone. I personally do not recommend this app.

Cannot get out of adds. After spending few minutes in the application, an add overlay appears and there is no way to dismiss that overlay. Only way to get out is killing the application. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Good app but many bugs. It always crashes at first time when I'm opening. The news is not refreshing automatically, it shows the news from previous time when I opened it, even if I'm opening the app after 2days. I need to kill the app from memory to refresh it.

log in numbers. One piece of article or news only is allowed for one time login. For further news reading each time the reader has to log in each time. That is really a cheating method to boost the log in numbers. Awkward and unethical business not suitable for a prominent news portal.

Worst app ever!!!. It drains 70 percent of your iPhone battery when not in use. The pop-up ad that gets displayed for each news article is horrible. You literally have to stare at it for 30 seconds before the close button appears.

Eats up battery. 75% of battery usage because of this app. And forget about the quality of news. They write anything g without credibility’s and headlines are just for click. 0 responsibilities on the content.

Update is terrible. The app used to be a mediocre app with annoying full screen ads. Just got an update today which made it totally unusable. I am unable to go back into the news list after opening up the news detail page. I had to force kill the app, but the same issue happens every time. Quality control seems to be very poor for this app. Not even worth a try!

Cooked the Golden Goose. Your beta/English version was superb for I-pad users. The new App is terrible! It allows only vertical orientation & does not show summaries & pics of major news items as was possible with the Beta test version. So, good bye, I will go elsewhere for news in English from India. NDTV, TOIJust Samachar etc all do a far superb job than your new app does.

Worst app ever I used!!!. Reputed Newspaper company is spoiling their name by this crappy app. Who developed this? It’s trying to make money using third party advertisements and promotion of another apps. We can’t read any news, it keep on pop up with third party ads and app promotions. Good bye!!

Political party paid news. Not a trustworthy news source. Lot of fake news. Most of the news are politically twisted news and doesn’t have truthful content. Thanks to social media; we get lot of truthful news via social media and other News channels like Janam TV. Manorama is no longer a channel I can trust anymore. Deleting this app forever.

Get ready to go to App Store every few minutes :-)). The app takes you to App Store in iPhone 6 to a Game .. this is happening since the last update I guess. Pretty easy to reproduce .. hope it will be fixed soon. Very annoying .

Battery draining and too many ads. This app drains the battery very fast for my iPhone. Background process also takes lots of battery. Ads pops up between each news and some of the ads are full screen with no close button. Deleting this app.

Crazy ads. I love manorama but this mobile app is so annoying because of crazy ads that consumes over 30% of display. If manorama care about its reads please provide option to remove ads with or without fee.

Complicated and slow. The concept was good but the previous app was way better (excluding the fact that soun doesnt work in video clips); this app is very slow and too complicated whereas the previous blue one was so light an fast.

Battery consumption is too high, 65%. Battery consumption rate almost 65% though app is not in use. Whatever it runs background is eating battery charge and eventually get my iPhone XS got heated up. After uninstall app battery usage and temperature levs back to normal. Some background process is acting weird with this app.

Worse App. Keeps displaying a banner msg "your connection has changed to wifi/LTE" every 5 seconds. It makes reading anything with this app nearly impossible as the useless banner fills nearly half of my phone screen. So annoying. This is apart from the fact that Manorama has become a third rate news paper that pushes all sorts of sleazy news and ignores what happens in the bigger world. Update: this app make it impossible to read anything as it keeps sending the user off to the App Store right from the moment you open it. A cheap trick to get you install those crappy apps that pay them to do this.

Designed and coded by amateurs. The app is simple which is okay. But the feed is terrible. Hardly 4-5 news stories from the day and the rest is stale news. The pop up add now fills you screen without an option to close the add. You have to hit home button and kill the app.

Hub of ads. Useless.. This app is not for news but for ads. Ads keeps popping up when you look for news. In order to read one news, you are forced to watch four ads. I don't recommend this at all. Just any other news app.

Annoying ads and poor app. The adverts pop up during reading with loud noise, cannot close the advert. Very annoying app with the ads at the moment and loud noise with the adverts. I will be uninstalling manorama app. Cannot believe the poor standard of the app for a large news organisation in India itself!!

We installed this application in 3 iphones...checked back ground battery activity.. we could see it’s over 60%... uninstalled application from one phone... found battery is lasting in that phone. But other two IPhone with Manorama online application battery dead with in few hours... please fix this issue.....

Lots of ads. Im using the app for long time for quick reading. But during the corona outbreak, the full screen ads came into action. Its really cheap money making by a big newspaper company. Because of fullscreen ads i stopped using the app. Overall app isn’t smooth at all comparing to other news apps. Now it becomes worse.

Terrible ads. They have started full screen ads that are annoying. Normally I spend in me in the app. Now these ads run for many seconds before you can close it and most of the times, the close button take you to the ad in a browser. I no longer use it because it is annoying.

Poor testing. The app is throwing error saying that “No Internet connection” even through I tried with both WiFi and 4G. The QA team should be capturing such basic things before deploying the app in AppStore.

Poor quality app. I wonder why these guys are releasing something that is substandard! Or is it a reflection of the pathetic state of affairs At Manorama?? The app gives a messge that there are critical updates and lead you to AppStore. There the app shows a ‘Open’ button like all downloaded apps. You click on that and will take you to the app which will show critical updates are due, and take you back to App Store! Irritating and unprofessional!!

Unreadable due to full screen ads. The new version is having full screen video ads which pop up every 5 secs and have to manual close the ad before reading anything. However the ad pops up again after 5 secs. The current version simply prevents me from using the app itself as it’s very frustrating. I am not against ads as long as it allows me to use the app without too many interruptions but this is really bad.

No control over the comments in news pages. The admin or moderator is silent and allowing all sorts of comments in the news comment box. Anti socials are using this app as a platform for propagating their agenda. There is no action from the administrators of this app to remove to non ethical comments which include politics, religion and race. I felt this is not a news app, but a platform for such anti socials to post their views.

App doesn’t let you return to home page. The latest update made the app more unresponsive. The app won’t let you go back to the main page upon reading a news, the only way currently is to close the app and start fresh, which is very frustrating, please fix the bug.

Read Manorama if you need negative energy. 90% of news published in manorama are negative news, like murder, rape, etc. They give more importance for these kind of news. I have uninstalled this app.

Fed up with full size ads with video and audio!. Shame on you Manorama for being so money minded! We can understand that why ads are there from a financial perspective, but these videos ads are way too selfish. The news reported are worth reading but I am getting unwanted advertisement articles , while i am using this application.There are some articles like” 30 foods which you shouldn’t keep in fridge” where the user needs to click the button “ next page” 30 times to read the complete article, which id a little bit irritating and time consuming. I had mailed them these problems, but they didn’t have the courtesy to reply till today. Rest everything is fine.

Bug or Forced commercial redirection?. I am using this app for more than a year now. I am not sure it is a bug or aggressive advertisement! When we use the app, without touching the commercial, the app will direct me to the Apple App Store to some app to download!!!

Annoying Adds. I was a great fan of this app, but recently they introduced too much adds that’s not even allow us to read a news. These adds are really scams and automatically installing apps in our phone. There is even no way to close the adds. Really annoying.
