Very surprising. It is so amazing my little sister just thinks it's the bomb!! It's pretty amazing how whatever is on your music it's on that too. The only thing is like it isn't a problem or anything it's just you can't look anything up it has got to be on your music. But you know it's really not a problem I think it's great !! ;)

It's slowly spiraling downwards into my pit of hate and annoyance. The key part of this app, where you click the search button, type in the name of the song, then it pops out suggestions of the names of the songs and artists, works. The part where you click on the song suggestion and it brings you to the first part of the lyrics, with a picture, does NOT work. They can't find any lyrics anymore! Not even to the most popular songs like What makes you beautiful or Britney Spears! NOTHING!! The whole POINT of this app is useless to me now, and I am on the verge of deleting this app and searching for a new one unless you guys pitch in, and bring a new update that will heroically save this app! Cause right now it's completely useless to me!! The one purpose I d wanted out of this app, doesn't work! Fix it!!

Awesome. This is freaking awesome when I pause it, it stays on the same song and doesn't skip like Pandora. It's sweet that it gives you the song lyrics if you like it and you know it but not the lyrics. But there's some criticisms about the song skipping it takes a while and sometimes it crashes when I wanna change my song. Other than that its good its playing a lot of old songs that I don't like or know. Haha!! I like that when you play a station that the first song is what the artist sings and not a singer that you guys want like Pandora.

Horrible😑. This app used to work so amazing and it was perfect. Until nothing would pop up when I typed stuff in. For instance, one day I was trying to search up the famous Adele song "Rolling In The Deep". But when I typed it up and tapped the search button nothing popped up. So I'm just thinking "yeah...I probably didn't type it in right" so I typed in "Adele" and again nothing popped up. Literally every time I try to use it it doesn't work.

Not bad for lyrics!. It's not a bad app at all! Has some trouble finding songs if they're not played by the actual band, and has MAJOR trouble recognizing the differences between bands with similar names (i.e. Wicked from broadway vs Wicked who is apparently a band). There are very few glitches that can easily be overcome- like the last few lyrics on a page are at the very bottom where you have to go beyond the scrolling area just a bit. Pretty fast and accurate though!

App doesn't work anymore. This used to be my go to app for lyrics. The design was simple and was self explanatory. After a while of not using the app, and then going back to use the app again no lyrics while pop up when I type in an artist name or a song name. I uninstalled and then reinstalled but nothing works. Only thing that will work is if I play music already on my phone. Fix this and I'll use this app again and come back and adjust my rating. Until then this app is useless.

Almost perfect. Great app, huge selection! But I'm experiencing some technical issues. Currently, I am not able to get back to the main page of the app. I can't check my favorites, search for lyrics, see what's trending etc. Also, I am able to find some lyrics on the main website, but not in the app.?.

Highly recommended!!!. This app has so many features that I love but did'nt expect; you can check the lyrics to songs in your own library while those same songs are playing, and there's song meaning, and all these other great features! This app would be worth getting even if it cost money!

Great!!!. I just downloaded this app, and for those who like to sing karaoke, or just sing for the enjoyment of it, definitely get this wonderful app. I found it to be one of the most helpful lyrical apps on the app store currently. I absolutely do NOT regret downloading Metro lyrics.

Pretty Good. I only have it three stars because, yes, it does have a lot of songs but not all the ones I like. And also a few songs (this is a rare occurrence) the Typer gets lazy, one of the songs is named "Young & Gettin' it" the typer wrote some bits and pieces from the first part of the song, didnt organize it, and then after writing the unorganized, jumbled lyrics, he wrote- "and try to find the rest cuz I don't wanna type" look it up for yourself, it really says that

Its great but.... Its great there is alot of songs the right lyrics u could play a song watch videos and even find lyrics to a song ure listening too! But it crashes alot! It crashes while i try to sing. But if it crashes it lets u send a complain so i think they are very innicent.

This app is friggin ridiculous!. I love the their website but this app is just stupid. I downloaded it to get lyrics and within 10 seconds of opening it, I was bombarded by ads, and then it froze and I couldn't use it. I tried quitting the app, I tried restarting my iPod, I tried deleting and redownloading. Nothing worked! Please fix this ASAP! I really want to use this app but the amount and intensity of the ads makes this impossible. The only reason I have it two stars is because I like their website.

Nice little app. I give it 3 stars because it does have a problem locating songs if they are on Greatest Hits type collections. If you search the song on an original album/cd, it can find the song but won't load the lyrics to the Greatest Hits version even if they are identical. If this worked, I'd give the app 5 stars. As it is, it's annoying. Bummer.

Amazing. Ur app is amazing I use it all the time to find my favorite songs it works really good I like the set up and well I like everything about it thank you for inventing this app u all did a fantastic time by making this thanks you again-kayboo

Great, But.... It is a great app! It is so useful when I don't know the lyrics to a song and its driving me CRAZY!!! It does mess up the lyrics to some songs. It messed up the order of "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift. I also wish that this app worked when I don't have Internet connection.

This is a Tragic fall from grace..... I, being a professional musician, am always needing "Reliable" references to song lyrics sometimes in less than ideal settings and after doing ENDLESS research and evaluation found what I was looking for, an app that can supply said lyrics to a massive library of songs that are *READ* ACTUALLY OBTAINED FROM THE PUBLISHING CO. THAT HAS THE RIGHTS TO THEM. (Not some Mickey Mouse website built by pre-teens where the public is welcome to just submit their "interpretation" of the words. Usually have about 3 different versions per song!) I try and at least give the illusion that I'm a professional! Was ELATED when I found this app which works with Gracenote (publishing partner). Well after a few beautiful years together I'm going to have to break up! The main function (for my situation), the song search function just up and QUIT working a year or so ago I guess and I've hung on to it hoping it was just a hiccup or bug soon to be rectified but at this point I'm pretty sure they just don't GIVE A S***! So trust me, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Good app but...... I've had this app for about a year now and it has been super useful with every song. Now idk what happened but when I go to search a song nothing pops up!!!! The only way I can see songs lyrics is if I look at my favorites, and artists bio, or the trending section. Also sometimes not all the parts of the songs are on there, like it will only be one verse and that's it. Overall this is a very good app and I recommend it to everyone but if the developers could please read this and fix the problems it would be great. Thank you

The adds!!! 😡😡. There are too many adds, all for Mountain Dew. After a while, the adds completely stop you from looking up lyrics. If they go away, I will give it a better rate. But it does have some really cool features. I at first gave it three stars, but after I gave it a second chance, the adds got worse. It stops you form doing anything. I couldn't get past them. It was ridiculous. I will now never buy that kind of Mountain Dew.

Very helpful. This app has a very wide selection of songs which is very helpful when a song pops up on the radio and you want to sing along. It sometimes cancels out, but this app is well worth it.

Honestly, gives me exactly what I need.. I love this app because when I use it for looking up lyrics for guitar it gives me exactly what I need. You can also play a song on your device and you can sync it so the lyrics will be up for you to sing along with. Over all, great app! Y(^_^)Y

so upset. i had this app for about a year, and it was doing great! i loved the layout, and the simplicity of the app. but now, i cant even search a song! if i type the title in, it's just BLANK. it only works for songs that you've downloaded on itunes, but i want the lyrics for songs i havent downloaded. i still havent found a way to fix it, and this is happening to my sister, too. i hope MetroLyrics does a bug fix!

Great App, but where's My saved sync lyrics?. I was surprised that this app can recognized all of my improper-labeled song in my library. My old CDs were ripped by 3rd party app, hence ID3 tags weren't set properly. This app still able to looked up the lyrics. But when I try to sync the lyrics and the song, seems like syncing process still buggy. I already saved the synced lyrics but when I played the same song, seems like the lyrics need to be synced again. Fixed it and I'll give 5 stars.

Fair app - needs feature to copy lyrics. I use the Metrolyrics website regularly on my iPhone to text lyrics to friends as a sort of trivia game. The website is nice because there aren't any popups obscuring my phone's screen. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had an app. If the dev could add in the feature allowing to copy lyrics so I could paste them into texts, I would give it another star.

Please update. Best lyric app ever! Doesn't only work when music is playing but CAN work when music is playing. I can be singing with my band and looking at lyrics without worrying about the music playing in the background. The only reason for the four stars is because the app hasn't updated since 2013!!!!! Because of IOS updates, I can no longer search lyrics, only pull up lyrics I've already favorited. Please, please, please UPDATE the app. I need to search and add new songs!!!!

Good but something's missing. Good app but here's a suggestion for future updates: right now, Song ID doesn't let you ID a song if it's playing on the same device as the app. It would be awesome if when you're listening to your iPod or Pandora on your phone, you could find the lyrics by Song ID instead of having to type in the title of the song. :) thanks, staff!

Below average due to lack of abilities.. I would rate this much higher if the app was able to correctly interpret songs played on the radio. I have attempted multiple times to get lyrics by using the function to listen but have never been successful in doing so. I thought perhaps it just didn't have older songs in the database. I then tried it with some top 20 songs with no success. Obviously the listen function does not work well. It works really well for songs in my iTunes account as well as songs that are manually entered by song title or artist. The fact that the listen function does not work makes this app nearly worthless. I will give it a bit to see if an update to correct this is released and if not I will delete it and stick with other apps.

Horrible. So far this app is horrible. When I first got it, it was ok. The way everything is laid out is easy to use. But when you search a song or an artist it's all out of order. For example if I search up Drunk by Ed Sheeran it will give me every song with the word 'drunk' in the title, except his song! And if I Searched up Ed Sheeran I might find 'Drunk' in the search results, I might not. The app only shows like the top ten songs it thinks you want. Even after all that crap it got worse. Now when I search up anything it won't give me results. Wifi, data, nothing will help. It simply won't give me any results for any songs I search up. PLEASE fix all of this.

Unreliable. This app is very unreliable. For example whenever I'd want to look up the lyrics of a song I'm currently listening to and I'd open the app not only would it quit the app the first time but it'd also play the ad that stops my song from playing and when that was finally over, for half of the songs I'd want to find out the lyrics to (mostly Pink Floyd) it would say "No lyrics found for this song". This app is not worth anybody's time, just look up lyrics online

I'm glad this was free. It's good for looking up lyrics and artist info, but it has many issues. It crashes randomly, sometimes has the wrong lyrics, and is slow often. Also, there's supposed to be an option where you can get the song meaning, but I have found no songs where this is an option. Overall, it's okay, but it has many flaws and room for improvement.

Finally!. Found what I'm looking for! It has everything and my most favorite feature is when you have a ding playing and tilt your device horizontally the lyrics will show and be highlighted to the exact line of the song! It's amazing! Only let down are when it crashes after changing the song and reopening the app again. Keep the database growing!

Would not recommend. I had this app for the longest and had no problems with it. About a few months back I tried to use the 'search' function of the app only to be met with NO results. I tried closing the app and restarting and nothing. I even deleted and re-added the app but still no results. I had used this app for about a year and knew that it had worked beforehand. I emailed about it only to be met with NO response. About two months after the email I tried to use the app again in hopes the problem had been fixed: NOTHING. I emailed my concerns and surprise, surprise NO RESPONSE again. In the end I just had to delete the app and would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this app to anyone. In fact I'd probably recommend just about any other app. Don't waste your time on an app that doesn't even have basic functionality.

That one song. I was really happy with it for about two months. Until I looked up the lyrics of the song Girl Party and it didn't come up I was. Disappointed I have a suggestion though. You can make sure you have every song ever made on the app, so I would be happy and other people would be happy too😀

A fair app but not great. First. iOS 11 won’t launch the current version as of 24 Sep 17. So, the app MUST be updated or it’s dead. Secondly, it’s frustrating to have seen lyrics (and submitted requests for change) on the web site, but then the app says “No lyrics.” There needs to be a better link to the library. And lyrics are the only reason I ever downloaded the app. I like the ability to show currently playing content.

Okay but needs improvement. Three things I've noticed. One, some of the lyrics are just plain wrong. Two, I shouldn't have to sync the lyrics myself, they should already be synced. For example, the "LyricsPlay" in Shazam does a really nice job of this. Three, it just needs more lyrics. Is the content user provided perhaps? I ask because of the incorrect lyrics, and lyrics for the same song multiple times, with slightly different song titles.

I love this site!!. I loved the site so much that I just had to search for an app. When I found it, I realized it hasn't been updated in well over a year. Hopefully you guys will update this again because I love being able to search for my favorite song lyrics. Please update it, it would mean a lot.

Could be better. I've noticed when I look at the videos and read the lyrics from the app that it is missing a few verses! I love music and I'm always performing cover songs so I need a credible and helpful site to find the words so I know what I'm doing. Also MetroLyrics doesn't have that many songs, it would be nice when I use Song ID to find that it is on the app. It would also be pretty nice if you could hear the song while looking at the lyrics. Oh and when you look at the video section it won't let you play the videos so, how exactly am I supposed to put any on my favorites if I don't know what they are? And another thing if everyone that created this would put in a little more effort to everything that would be AMAZING.I know making apps are not a walk in the park so I know it won't magically be perfect, but no one cares how long it takes you to type it all the lyrics, just take one song at a time and finish it. Stop giving us crap.

Alright. Everything seems to work pretty smooth for now. The only nightmare is landscape orientation. The app doesn't know where to properly assign the elements in landscape, and looks like it shouldn't even be an option, given how unfinished it acts. And the transition between reading lyrics from a song playing on the device isn't seamless.

Search issues. Everything worked correctly until recently, now I can no longer search for anything (artist or song) the way I used to. I can still view the lyrics for songs saved in my iPhone but nothing else. I hope that this is fixed soon. I would've rated 5 stars before the search issue.

Quite useful. This app finds song lyrics quickly and the auto-import from the music you are playing is a great feature. A suggestion for improvement: add someway to add the lyrics to the iPod player in music. I know how to do it manually but that requires a computer, it would increase The apps overall quality by a lot. Would recommend for a friend. Thanks

Song ID part. Everything about this app is pretty good except for the Song ID. The first week I had the app the Song ID Part worked perfectly but now every time I try to find out what song is playing it always says no song found, even though the song is playing loud and clear. Needs to be fixed

Makes me wanna take the app out and throw a brick at it.. First off, the search feature doesn't work. I typed in JUSTIN BIEBER, which everything can recognize, and nothing came up, even though I was on wifi! Second, the listen feature doesn't work either. I held my device to my radio and let it listen 5 times, and it didn't work! Third, it basically only limits you to what songs you own. Half of them might not even get lyrics loaded, and sometimes they're wrong! Lastly, it needs WIFI!!!! Why???? If you were in, for example, a road trip, the least you can do is get stupid lyrics!! Overall, -100 out of 10.

So-so. Some incorrect lyrics, the mountain dew add will keep popping up when you close it time and time again with the blink of an eye, and the predictability of it closing are the main issues. Really its predictable whenever it quits, either change it so it wont do that, or dont say unexpectedly, because i can always see it coming

Search. This is the easiest way to search music without the internet and is convenient to. I use this site and a-z lyrics all the time I personally think that this is one of the better ones and it's quick

Was good once. When I first got it, it worked great. But for awhile now, it just doesn't work. I enter a song title, or an artist, and hit 'search', but nothing happens. At first I thought it was searching and just taking time, but I left the app open 15-20 minutes and nothing ever popped up. I'm writing this review as I finally deleted it from my phone and went another direction. Hopefully, nobody else will waste their time trying this one.

Great But. Most of the time when im looking for lyrics im searching by them. I would give 5 stars if I could search by a phrase to a song I wanna know the title of. Other wise great job! Good app to just have for those moments when you had to prove you were right on the lyrics. Also so your not signing a song incorrectly for months and someone corrects you! ;)

Good features, Terrible selection. This app has well-coordinated, relevant features that make searching for lyrics simple and easy. The problem is encountered when you realize that they don't have very many songs outside the mainstream genres listed in their database. I have a thoroughly eccentric iTunes library and literally 65% of my 10k songs are not in their database at all. There are also several songs that have the wrong lyrics. Overall? Good app. Not functional for an eccentric music fan.

Don't Even Bother. I've tried this app with several songs and it always comes back with "no match". These are not obscure songs! In the last 20 minutes it's failed to identify: Pink-Just Give Me a Reason, Katy Perry-International Smile, Waking Up in Vegas, Fall Out Boy-My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark, Maroon 5-Payphone, Uncle Kracker-Follow Me and Train-Hey Soul Sister. It also missed songs by Flo Rida, Eminem, Kesha, One Direction, Beyoncé and Kelly Clarkson. Really? Not seeing the point of a song identifying app that can't identify #1 hits by major artists. This app is a waste of space.

MetroLyrics. Love this app so far!! I love to sing and enjoy the fact that this gives you the words so you know you're singing the right lyrics. It also lets you sync the song right on your phone/iPod. You can set up a playlist too of your favorite songs. Love it!!

It's ok. The lyrics can benefit greatly from some editing. I think I had abrupt closing of the app a few times. Then, it won't pull up songs listed even though they are displayed. Those lil hiccups are a bit odd. Apparently, I like obscure music because it takes a while to find what I'm searching for huh?!??!! Also, it won't find lyrics for popular songs in Spanish-that was unexpected. Call me crazy, but searching for reggaeton lyrics was never an issue doing it outside of this app and seeing the link for metrolyrics show up.

Great app!. I used to a different lyric search but I had to prompt it with every new song. This app automatically finds if available and most of my songs are there. Love the interface, very user friendly Would be nice if you could report the wrong lyrics are linked to certain songs.

Alright. It's an alright app but you guys stuff up on words in the song. I check the album/albums and it says a different story with the lyrics in songs. I don't know if you are trusting what you here but it needs to be improved upon

Problems.. It's a really good app for songs but whenever I open the app, it ALWAYS automatically exits the app and leads me to the home screen. So now, I literally can go into the app.

Review. I was very exited about this app. However since installing it I have been extremely disappointed with it. The part that is supposed to be like the shazam app has not ever found a song for me. I tapped for a chilli peppers song and it still found no song. I have also used it to search for commonly known popular songs and have never returned a successful search or any song words. I will be deleting this app an crossing my fingers that when the developers fix their bugs I will maybe try again. It is an awesome idea but needs some fine tuning.

Cool. It's a good app but I want all the songs to Slash's albums featuring Adam Levine etc. but the one song I want at the least is "By the sword" in one of Slash's albums it's a great song and I want to know it :) can you please do that for me? Cheers buddy if ya can

Pop up adds frustrating. I can deal with banner ads in the app but having to go through a full ad screen when I just want to get to lyrics us ridiculous. Love the integration with actual music on iPhone though!!!

Can't search lyrics. I find that this app has always been good but know I am very upset as I cannot search lyrics

Ok. It is good when it comes to finding the words of oldish songs, but it struggles to keep up with the lyrics to newer songs. Also the listening feature does not work. As for the option of having the songs that are "trending", it always is the same. It's a good app but you need to give it time to find lyrics to new songs (weeks, months)

Fantastic app!. This app is easy to use, helpful and overall fun to use by yourself or with friends! I have been looking for a particular song for 4-5 months now but still can't find it If this app had something u could type some of the lyrics into, it could find songs with those lyrics and let u listen to them, it would just make the app a whole lot better! Shuts down. Really good, but until today, when I opened the app, it shut down. I continued tapping on the app, it eventually opened, but shut down 5 seconds. I've deleted and downloaded again, but it still takes me out of the app. It basically keeps crashing! Can you please fix this? I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but it certainly is happening to me ALL the time now. Thank you for your time x

Almost perfect. Ensuring that you know the band and the song (w/ correct spelling) you will receive the lyrics you are after. Have been using this regularly for months without any fault. Song recognition software is not very strong. Great App

Ok. App crashes when I search for current song playing, or it just doesn't find the lyrics... I mean, c'mon - No Doubt, Bob Marley "Not Found"!! Pffftt And as for Sync... Still having to scroll with the song as it goes.

Horrible. A main feature about this app is to listen to the song that is playing from an external source, a feature all about Shazam, but it doesn't work in this app.

Nice app. It is very useful.

Limited database of lyrics. This app is quite useful when you can actually find the song you want. It has multiple search methods, links to information about artists, and you can create a list of 'favorites' to view whenever you want. Problem is though, I can't find a lot of the music that I want, so that makes all of its other positive features pretty redundant. I'm actually deleting it now and planning to download something a bit better.

I.M.O. very good and has quite an extensive amount of songs. wouldnt hurt if there were more frequent updates though

Décevant pour chanteur(euse). J'aime bien cette application mais elle est très décevante. La fonction "Sync" fonctionne bien que lorsqu'on veut pratiquer la chanson immédiatement. Losque j'ai sauvegardé après la synchronisation, je dois recommencer la "sync" au complet!!! C'est assez décevant !!! Quand on synchronise et que l'on sauvegarde... C'est pas pour recommencer chaque fois !! Finalement, il y a plein de lyrics où c'est écrit "chorus"... Dès lors, la "sync" vaut absoluement rien du tout car on doit connaître le refrain par coeur étant donné que la "sync" suit uniquement les phrases successives!!

Will not work. This app will not let me search for songs, it crashes every time I try to search

Michele. Excellent app! Impressed with the selection. Actual lyrics page could be presented in a better looking format. For me this app is at the top of my list.

Was great until.... It said that there were no lyrics available to ANY of the songs that I had saved in my favorites. Not happy. I use this app almost daily for vocal practice.

Alright. This app is really good the only complaint I have is I find some of the lyrics aren't exactly as they should be, and there have been a few songs where they don't even have the lyrics to the song!

1 of the my Fave Apps😃. I LOVE this app but I does crash a bit... Not when your readin' the lyrics or any-thing. The only other issue is that u need Internet to use the app (I have an iPod 4 not an iPhone so I can't have Internet wherever I go)

Almost no metal. I like my symphonic black metal, unfortunately the only metal it has lyrics for is mainstream bands. The only metal artists I have found is dimmu borgir, a little bit of cradle of filth and some of the new chthonic. That is only a tiny fraction of everything I have and that is not satisfactory whatsoever. If you are a metal head avoid this app

Eh. It's really good with lyrics (on the top 40 mind you) but I tried to get the song ID thing(where it tells you the meaning of the song) and I can't find it and the tips offer no help just "LOOK HOW AMAZING OUR APP IS" so please explain how to get song meanings.

Serious Update Needed!. I have the app on my iPad, and it does not function very well! Yes, I realize that the app was made for the iPhone and iPod touch but I do not want to use the app on my iPod anyways due to the app not functioning properly there either. Please consider making an app for iPads!

Needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL, ASAP!. I've used this app for as long as I can remember. Now every time I try to use it again, it won't search for the song I want to look up. Please fix this bug/problem, & I will be 1 hell of a happy camper, if you know what I'm saying.

Not worth it. Cluttered interface, poor search function, and terrible song identification. Look into for Soundhound or Shazam for a better app.

Used to be great, but not anymore. I used to love this app and used it frequently. I've kept up on the updates, but now its search feature doesn't work at all. I've tried reinstalling, but problems aren't resolved. I have more luck just searching for lyrics on the Internet, so I've deleted the app from my phone.

Mountain Dew ads killed this app!. This WAS a decent app. I use it a lot for kareoke getting lyrics for songs. The song id part of this app NEVER works on anything. The lyrics were useful but now I can't use it anymore because the stupid Mountain Dew am energy drink ads have ruined it. Sad really that you sell out a decent app that way. Guess I'll have to depend on shazam now.

When it actually opens..... I really like being able to get the lyrics to songs being played on TV however, many times when I click on the first line to get the lyrics to a song, it doesn't open. Can be very frustrating!

COOL👍👏. I like it it has any song you can think of and more. Knows lyrics to all the songs on my playlist and I can look at the lyrics as it plays.

MetroLyrics. I would give it 5 stars but the "karaoke" style lyrics that turn on when you turn it into landscape mode are laggy and and sometimes don't even work.

Fix the song is. It works fine. Except the song if won't recognize any songs. It just says "No song found, Tap to try again" it must not have any songs in its database or something. Just add some and this will get 5 stars.

Used to be good now useless. This app used to be good, the search was kinda lacking and slow but still did an ok job now it's just useless. The app doesn't work at all, when you try to search a song nothing even comes up. Hopefully they fix this issue soon cause this app is just taking up space on my phone

I loved the app but.... I deleted it. The reason was because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't search any songs, whatsoever. It could be because I didn't get the update for my iOS. But I loved it when it did work.

Great App!. The fact that it recognizes what your ipod is playing and finds the lyrics is the coolest thing ever. I listen to alot of metal/hardcore so now I can instantly see what they're saying when they're screaming their heads off. Awesome!

Rad app!!. So yeah, it doesn't always know songs like shazam does...however, I freaking LOVE this app for what's its intended. To know all the lyrics of all my favorite Songs. It's a great app for the lyrics alone.

BEST APP FOR LYRICS. i just downloaded this all when I was finding lyrics for mlp songs(I'm a brony so what) and it has like all of dem songs even from the songs made by bronys not from the show 5 review star :DDDDDDD

Good app. This app is great and fast. However, I find that sometimes it will stick on one song's lyrics and there is no option to search for another song. Other than that, the app is as fantastic as the actual site.

it's not the best app. when I wanted to find the lyrics to Kesha's song "C'mon" the song wouldn't come up! I typed in C'mon, it didn't work. I typed in Kesha, it didn't work! then I had to typed in Kesha c'mon and then it came up but the app says that u have to type in the name of the song OR the artist not both. this frustrated me cuz I wanted to sing along while the song was on the radio. please fix this app!!

Good. I think that this app is great any time you need to know a lyric and its way faster than looking it up on the Internet. Just in case anyone was wandering it does not play music just lyrics.

Shellshock. I love the app.. But it does crash alot..& many of my songs will say 'no lyrics found'..& I have the lyrics but don't know how to input them into the song.. Also the Song Meaning feature has never worked for me.. Overall, I like it tho..;)

Really good!. I love syncing my songs ! The only reason why I didn't rate it 5stars is because it needs an update to add more songs, and very few times crashes, but otherwise, I absolutely love it .

Never has lyrics I want. I don't think One Republic is obscure, but couldn't get lyrics for Stop and Stare. Never seems to have lyrics for any songs I like. Maybe it only carries top 40 or something. Ugh. And when it does have lyrics they're missing verses so I look them up elsewhere and their lyrics are off as well as missing verses. Trash app. Website is way better.

Really good app. It's a really good app. The only problem for me is it doesn't have many Eminem song lyrics. It's just that Eminem is one of my favorite bands and i want to get all the words to the songs right but it's still a great app

Ads are so annoying 😠. The app is good and they have a good variety of songs but there's this ad that I have to exit out but literally the next second it comes back and I can't even see the lyrics because the ad is always covering it.

Hate it!. This ap is horrible. I can't believe people tolerate an ad flashing in your face every two seconds! I had to click out of an advertisement 3 times and still didn't finish reading the lyrics. Metrolyrics management must be idiots. That is a strong word, I use it purposely. Watch this company go down the tubes fast. They will loose their captured audience 10 times as fast as it took to build it up!

Awesome. It has any song I can think of! I listen to heavy metal and it has all my favorite songs. Just type in any song and it has it! 5 Stars!

Good app. I really like this app. I like that it can identify what's playing and give you the lyrics right away. However I have found that it sometimes stalls or stops working all together and I have to restart it.

Ok, but seriously flawed. I "like" the app. I haven't had any crash issues, but the ability for the app to identify a playing song has NEVER worked for me & more often than not it doesn't find a searched for song even though the song is found on MetroLyrics website.

Song Id needs to be fixed. I try to use song id but it never works weather it's really loud or close to the music it won't tell me what song it is its really frustrating I tried it over and over again that mishap makes me want to delete the app please fix it

Good but where's song meanings?. It works well and the design and functionality is excellent. However, some more obscure songs are missing. Also, how do you access Song Meanings? I've tried multiple songs and also googled for a solution. Help!

This is great for my classes!!. I'm currently taking a History of Rock class, and this helps SO much. Even though it's missing some titles from certain artists, I can't complain since it's free!

Disappointing. Doesn't match up to it's competition. Missing a lot of lyrics. Offers synced lyrics feature, but seems like none of the songs are synced. Doesn't offer basic controls like shuffle playlist , set repeat/shuffle settings in the player. No ability to add your own lyrics.

Rating. I enjoy how you can sing along to the song at the same time as reading the lyrics.

Seen better. The app won't permit you to identify the song you're listening to (on iPhone, untested on computers); it interrupts the song to listen, and doesn't work. Upon searching for songs, the search function blatantly doesn't work (at all). Definitely recommend downloading other apps over this one. It was cool at first, because it would show the lyrics with the songs, but now that doesn't even work. Deleting off my phone as its a waste of space. If you want to know, just google the song; you'll find it faster and easier. As for identifying songs, I recommend Soundhound or Musixmatch.

Unusable when ads take over. Would be decent if there were not a zillion ads. And, some of the ads take over the whole screen, cover all the lyrics and refuse to close, or close then instantly reopen. I had to completely get out of the app, kill it and restart hoping the full screen ad doesn't return.

Good app but..... The kickstart ads are getting ridiculous I can handle an ad at the bottom of the page just minding its own business but the stupid kickstart Mountain Dew ad is just shoving a bottle of the drink right in my face and I can't get it out of the way it's very annoying and needs to stop. I will not be using this app until this is resolved.

Has it's pluses & minuses. This app is good but it doesn't have a fair amount of songs but it makes up for it with tha get lyrics of a song straight from your library feature

Awesome. It's great. Yes, there are some songs it doesn't have but very few. I also love the Download from iTunes part of it because sometimes when I go to iTunes I can't always find what I'm looking for then I go through this app and its there.

Ads made me delete this app. I downloaded the app after searching for lyrics on the Internet and thought an app would be more accessible. I couldn't use the app because the same ad would pop up again every time I clicked close. I tried closing and re-opening it and it did it again and again. In major need of technical review.

Okay. It doesn't work it crashes down when I open it. The ten seconds it turns of it won't work some help me and is there another lyrics app

These pop ads.... These pop ads are getting real annoying because everytime I close them they pop up again making the app useless, when it did work it was fantastic

Fantastic app!. I really enjoy the sync function! It's great to have your lyrics always close by. Before I downloaded this app I used to have to go to the browser and google the lyrics I wanted. It's much faster. Love it!

Ehh. The app is ok it doesn't have a lot of lyrics for a lot of my music like for example it will have lyrics for 1 song but it won't have lyrics for another song that's on the same album...and sometimes they're wrong...

Horrific!!!. I bet you can do better. I looked up songs so many time you have no clue. You have no clue because I didn't see any of the songs available. The last update for this was around 3 YEARS ago! This is just disgusting and horrific.
