Irokotv is a bad app. I can’t even watch my app from my phone anymore,I try watching and ask me to restore purchase i did and ask for a claim ID which I don’t know where to get that,I called and they trying to tell me I don’t have any history of purchase.i ask is that how you render services I paid for without been able to watch any movie from the app am absolutely disappointed and ashamed about this product,I will like to be contacted to restore this issue as soon as possible

Help ohhh😭😭😭😭😭😭 I love my IROKOtv but......... I’m having issues with my app, it’s really frustrating now!! Please admin what’s going on?? It’s either my downloaded movies are not playing at all or when I watch with my data(after downloading) it goes blank but movie audio continues playing, I deleted and downloaded again severely, but same issue!!! Please work on it! Thank you. I really love using the app, and it would hurt me greatly if this problem continues.

Why I’m giving a 5 star? Because there isn’t a 6th one.. Netflix has a hot competition right here, this app is all you need for a fantastic movie experience. Through out the quarantine and beyond, this app kept me mind and oils together; great and simple user friendly interface, easy to navigate software. It’s just 6 starts tbh.

Bad business. We trying to support this business, but it is really going down hill your try and do something about this before you guys start losing customers, sometimes it take so long for new movies to come up, the movies are not downloading at all for months now, is anyone experiencing this?

Love you guys but am mad. I have been with you guys since forever am Only mad because no one thought about our feeling when you decided to pause uploading movies for us to watch I have watch all the movies the your rep are suggesting. It freezes. Each time I open the app to sign in to my account it just freezes, I’ve closed and opened the app several times and the same thing is happening, I’ve also deleted and downloaded the app but the same thing is still happening, if it doesn’t get fixed I’ll have to cancel my subscription.

I should have rate extreme negative on this new management.. What the heck is all this going on lately with this app ? Can somebody fix this ASAP .....all people I referred this app to are getting frustrate. This is not upgrading but downgrading honestly...

Technical Support. Adefowope O. was a great help when I had a technical support login issue. There was a quick response and very courteous and professional. My technical problem was solved instantly.

Scammers!. I did the five thousand naira yearly subscription, paid with my card, I was debited, I logged into my account to watch movies, it requested me to pay again. I called their customer care, they refereed me to use the live chat on their website of which I did. To my greatest surprised I was asked to send them the email linked to my bank account, last 4 digit of my atm card and the expiration date in other to track my transactions. Please guys stay away from these scammers

Access Issues. Why wasn’t there any response to the questions asked on December 1 and on December 22? I am having the same issues right now. Why can’t I view movies or even access the app at all when I’m paying? This message would also not go through unless I rate this app more than one star. This is ridiculous!!.

Improved.. I stayed aware from this app for long because of lack of contents but am glad they have improved now. New and nice movies. Keep up the good work am sure renewing my subscription once it expires in January 2020

Bug issues. I have been using this app without any problem but yesterday it recently went through an update and now all the downloaded movies can’t play ...sad! It’s says the playback has encountered an error and then it shuts down . Am so mad . Make sure you fix it please . It bugs a lot and it’s not cool .

Needs Improvement. As a fan of Nollywood movies, I’m grateful for streaming services like IROKOtv but this app has certain problems. The auto play function has a life of its own. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. IROKOtv needs to work on a “continue watching” feature so that people can continue what they were watching if they exit the app and go back. The app has a lot of movies that are no longer available but when you search for them, they’re listed, you can even play the videos, but when you play them, you get a message that the video is unavailable. Also, the app developers should try and put this app on Roku because I only use Roku devices and i can’t watch IROKOtv on my TVs so I have to watch on my phone and laptop and this is really annoying because I’d like to watch the movies on my TVs.

Problem with the latest ios version.. I can’t access the app with the ios 13.1.2 The app closes on itself anytime you open it. Please you need to update the app.

Really faulty app. I’m not sure what’s been the issue with the app lately, I haven’t been able to watch a movie for over a month now. App keeps freezing, can’t click on anything, I’ve repeatedly terminated and reran the app to no avail. Also, the casting feature seems to have been removed, I can’t watch on my iPad or cast it to my tv which are basically the 2 ways I watch movies on the app. Extremely disappointed that this has carried on for over a month, can’t even utilize my subscription.

Needs help (app). This app is getting worse day by day I think I’ll uninstall the app and get another app that provides better service

It's mediocre. The ability to be able to pick up where you left off, rewind without the movie pausing, unsubscribe from the app, actually add a pic of yourself, and get a movie description are just a few things that would make this app better. I'm afraid too, that I will watch everything on here before my three months are up. The movies are crisp and clear. More movie selections would be great. I'm happy with the price and that there is a app like this. I know that in time it will improve😁

Love the service but app needs help. I absolutely love the service and selection but the app hasn’t worked properly in over a year. When I’m watching something and exit the app, I can’t pick back up where I left off. If a pause a movie, the app gets stuck and I have to start over. I can’t rewind or fast forward without app issues. The app issue’s significantly take away from the amazing content this service has to offer.

Not interesting anymore. I noticed from my previous subscription and even the current one that IROKOtv doesn’t upload new movies for its subscribers. I will not subscribe again to IROKOtv once my current subscription expires. Since the beginning of my current subscription, i have not seen any movie on IROKOtv. Just waited my money for nothing.

Bad business. I used to be a long time subscriber to the app before they stopped uploading movies. I saw that they had started back uploading movies and thought that maybe they were back, but was quickly disappointed when I kept getting the message that the app had trouble fetching data when I clicked on any movie. I have not been able to watch 1 movie so now I am here feeling scammed over again.

Love the movies, but tired of deleting and reinstalling app. The app is always freezing up on me. The only way to fix it is to delete and reinstall the app to use it. Any suggestions? Other than that, I absolutely love the movies.

Terrible. I paid for a year’s subscription using iTunes store credit. I am unable to access the movies and keep getting a funny error message stating that my subscription has been applied towards something else. I am being given the run around by the chat service. I can’t cancel the subscription because its for 1 year. Looks like I am going to lose my $24.

Useful app. For a long time I’ve always needed a way to watch Nigerian movies effortlessly as some aren’t available online. Thankfully, Iroko makes this happen easily for me.

Not good on IPhone. When I used the app on my Samsung in worked perfectly fine but on my iPhone it keeps making me renter my login details. My login details don’t even save automatically to my phone and I have to retype. It’s not cool. Pls fix the app for iPhones. I’ve been using IROKOtv since it launched, I love the movies but I’m reconsidering renewing my subscription

App gone bad 🙁. Same thing the other customer is talking about is happening to me right now and I keep wondering y they keep repeating thier advert on IROKOtv on African magic that was done by the likes of Jackie appiah, Emem ufot, and blessing eloho that one can download movies and watch offline and it’s not working at all🙁 so bad even after subscribing to the IROKOtv app one must have data to watch movies so what’s now the essence of the sub? IROKOtv needs to do something to this b4 loosing customers o.

After subscription, can’t login. My coworkers call me scam because. Immediately after I pitched IROKOtv to my coworkers they all subscribed. Now 3+me that’s 4, but guess what, we haven’t been able to access the app for about a week now. The customer service agent told us to uninstall and reinstall but it only got worse because now we can’t login.

Irokotv. This app is the most scams app I’ve ever gotten. Is frustrating when you are unable to have access to something you pay for. It’s a hassle to even edit your profile on the app. Restoring a purchase is like buying a house. And those Representative that are on there to help, can not even help you resolve the issue. It’s a waste of time time and money.

Nice app. 5 star.. I subscribed to the app last year. I believe the app is underpriced because to match the likes of Netflix in programming quality you need to spend more on making the movies. 5 star still. Fire burn haters.

Okay. I like the app and love the movies but it will be great if you fixed the issue with pausing movies so you don’t have to start the movie all over again and then fast forward. It gets frustrating.

What is it with the update. I am trying to update the app as required but every time I hit the update button, it takes me to the " today page” and then takes me right back to the page that says “update”. What is really going on with this update thing?

Worst customer service team. I contacted them regarding the app not working after I renewed my subscription. They ended the chat multiple times.

Download does not work.. I am so disappointed by this apps download feature, l downloaded my movies to watch on my long trip only to try and then it keeps trying to validate my subscription and then it needs the internet which defeats the purpose of downloading to watch later. It’s so sad for an application that was doing so well to go down like this. Please solve this issue before it’s too late.

What’s wrong with this App. Why can’t the App let me open any movies yet my subscription is up to date for almost a year !!!! This is frustrating fix it

Illusions. Totally enjoyed watching. I knew that skinny girl with the tattoos was problem from the beginning. Wish there was something you could write your comments on though when watching your movies

Disappointing. It’s 2020 and African movies have improved way beyond what it was 17yrs ago. They’re very entertaining and dramatic, but what the film makers are lacking is time placement. They wait till the last 8mins or so, towards the end, to solve all the issues. They stretch the entire thing out and within 10mins of closing or 5mins rather, that’s when things are being found out (whatever the movie is focused on, like a cheating wife or finding the truth out about something) it’s not realistic. 20-30mins should be the basis of when issues are solved and the truth is spoken. All I do is get frustrated. Please stop doing this!!!!

Unable to watch. I’ve had this subscription for a while and keep hoping it will get better but it’s only getting worse. In the past 2 months, I’ve deleted and redone loaded the app but haven’t been able to watch anything. The app loads to the shoutouts page and nothing else can be done from there. I’ve tried on all my devices and nothing works. It’s become a waste. Either give me my money back or fix it. This is ridiculous.

IROKOtv to the World!!!. I’ve been using this app for 5 years now, and this app is amazing! The movies they put up is always top notch and interesting, I’ve never missed out on my subscription, in fact I do yearly subscriptions because it is worth it. They recently did an upgrade, where you have the option of watching international movies. IROKOtv you guys rock! Keep doing what you’re doing! 😻😻💪🏼💪🏼

Painful to use on all levels. This app is pathetic and ridiculous for this age. You can’t go back to resume where you stopped. You can’t add to your list. App Freezing is its hobby. You better write down the name of the movie you were watching before you log out. I want my money back. No difference if you try watching online either. IROKOtv get your act together. Enough!!! Even Tubi is a pleasant experience.

Cast to tv icon. I sent a message on instagram which was ignored about requesting for the cast to tv icon which is usually enabled with the use of a chrome cast, I have mentioned this too before but as usual it’s being ignored. I bet they can’t be bothered about finishing. They feel the app is available so nothing else should matter. But little things matter most. SceneOne tv came right after IROKOtv and they have the icon for easier viewing . Decided no more IROKOtv after this subscription.

App Gone Bad!!!. I used to enjoy this service but recently, it has gone bad. In fact, it is horrible if you intend to watch on the road or when traveling. Two main issues they need to address: 1. After downloading the movies, you still need Internet to watch because the system checks for subscription before you can watch downloaded movies. I was on a 12 hour flight and have hoped to watch my downloaded movies but I could not!!!. The rubbish system was checking my subscription which requires internet connection. Totally defeats the purpose. 2. The system get hung checking for subscription license. I have deleted the app and reinstall three times but issues remain the same. License checking status is still in a loop even after their recent update in March 2018. All the downloaded movies are grayed out and I can't click to watch. However I am able to stream other movies that have not been downloaded without any issues. I tried chatting with their customer rep and got no response after many attempts .

Not good for Apple TV. If you are getting this it is good to watch on your laptop. This apple does not work well with Apple TV. After downloading the app on Apple TV, and pausing a movie, you are stuck on a black screen. In order to continue the movie or even exit out, you have to delete the app from Apple TV and then re-download the app, and start from scratch.

Problem. I having problems can even see any movies that I did a payment for year 2 day problem

Africans and Africa!!!. Fantastic. We Africans and Africa, we do not need the world. The world has always needs us. Our stories alone, especially in the villages where our navel strings are planted, lol is in enough to sustain us if we dare and believe. I’m a Sierra Leonean.

Terrible app. Terrible app. No rewind no pause no fast forward. This app hasn’t had an update in God knows how long to meet up updates in phones and computers. Just outdated forget bout casting on your tv complete nightmare . They clearly don’t care. At this point il be taking my money elsewhere. I can’t go on with the torture. Apple play not working. Since the last two updates I am unable to cast on my TV via Apple TV. It’s just not working. If this is fixed I won’t be updating this app when next I get an update to do so...it’s so frustrating. 2+ weeks and I can’t watch anything...please fix

Tired Of This “App”. Won’t even let you log in. Not really user-friendly either. Downloads can’t be viewed offline (what’s the point then, IROKOtv?). You can improve your service by hiring developers who actually know what they are doing. Let viewers be able to continue from where they left off ( er, look at Netflix, for instance). Improve, we’re paying money for this garbage.

Terrible experience. I am very disappointed that after paying, I can’t access all the tv shows as before. An explanation of what went wrong would be a nobble thing to do. Tried to get support via chat and all I was told was to clear the catche and use a different browser. Still nothing changed after refreshing my device. And as for using different browser, how does this work when I am on app, maybe if this is possible a little help would have gone a long way to reduce distress. This is very unlawful and can be considered as fraud as you are charging people and not providing a service you claim to offer by false advertisement. Please sort this out before it gets out of hand. I am seeing so many disgruntled viewer’s comments here and wondering what is going on. And some of them are from a few years, so one wonders why the same problem is still being experienced 🙃🙃🙃

I am very disappointed. I’ve been trying to login for a week but gives me error cancelled. I tried to login with mobile numbers and email but the same responses. If we cannot watch what we paid for than return our money. I used to watch via Apple TV but not longer playing fixed it or our money return.

Doesn't work. The app doesn't work. If you can't fix it immediately you need to give us back the website to use. I also think that you should always give people the option of using the website, not only the app. This is a paid service and we should get a refund if we can't watch movies!

Terrible Experience. Cannot access any of the movies or shows. Keeps displaying ‘Error fetching data’ despite having a good internet service. Tried both on the app and via the browser. I hope there is a way to cancel the subscription and get a refund.

Wrong update. This app was great until the latest update. It's f**ked up the app. Downloaded movies stop to buffer before continuing as though you are streaming. The movies stop and send an error message then shut down. Amazingly pathetic update. I subscribed so I demand a smooth service.

Add this apple on Apple TV 4 and 4K. Your app been working good so far but recently it has started refusing to cast on apple tv and it’s not accepting to cast on smart tv my suggestion it could be better if you would make it available on Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K because those two models of Apple TVs has App Store I’m in Victoria Australia

Login problems. I have been trying to login into my account with my Facebook account which is what I registered with and it hasn’t been working. I have contact the help centre many times and no one has been able to fix the problem. App keeps crashing. What’s wrong with the app it’s not staying open keeps crashing.

Not Happy. Not happy with this app. I’m no longer able to cast anything that is playing onto a larger screen. The app constantly freezes!! Honestly, I’m not enjoying this subscription. I can’t even watch online as I’m forced to view all videos on this app. Please, please, remedy this problem.

Worst App On IPad Platform EVER !. What am I paying for when this app never ever seems to be working, it’s either I’m constantly being asked to enter my password & when I do so I’m told it’s incorrect. Then the online streaming never ever works , I get constant error messages... Now it will not even load at all & allow me to log into my account, which I just renewed for a year. Renewal Payments are compulsory. I struggled so hard to get my credit card off because the app will simply not let me. Beware! Once your card is on there, they take payments automatically. You do not have a choice on the issue. I do not understand why one must renew their subscription compulsorily. It is such a turn-off. I talked to a rep a few times and never got a solution to it. It is safe to say that I changed my card and the previous card got cancelled. Thankfully, I have been delivered as a result. I wish I could just decide to pay on my terms.

App keep crashing. Iroko application keep crashing whenever I am login with my credentials. Deleted and re-downloaded the application. Is something wrong with iroko app at the moment.

The app freezes a lot. I have tried multiple time using the app on iPhone X and it keeps freezing. Don’t like the fact that I can’t cast to other devices and I can’t watch the movies on the website.

App not working. Just wondering why everyone has to chat you guys to have their issues resolved. Clearly, there’s been an issue with the app for over 2 weeks and from the comments on Instagram, it’s been longer for others. It’s best you guys notify customers about the problem, what you’re doing to resolve it, how long that will take and how you intend to compensate us for service not rendered. I don’t have the time to be chatting you guys but if the app doesn’t work after a few more weeks, I’ll be asking for a refund. P.S: this is the first time I’ll be leaving a review for an app but the IROKOtv app is so messed up right now and it’s only fair that others are aware before spending their money on this.

Less movies. Notice you guys no more keep your promise of releasing 2 to 3 movies per week, only releasing one movie per week. I thought we are paying for watching this movies. You should keep to your part of the bargain.

Log in issues and freezing. When I first open the app on my i pad, it gives me the option of logging in using my phone # and pin. Once I’m logged in and ready to play a movie, I’m asked if I’m a returning user or a new subscriber. Of course with the option of logging again. This time using my username and password. Why the heck do I have to log in TWICE. Once I’m logged in, the log in page freezes. Very frustrating. The app can store credit cards for automatic renewal but no option of saving passwords!!!!! Seriously IROKOtv tv u need to up your game as I’m not paying you annually for a crappy service. please and thank you

Terrible customer service. The app itself is hella slow but it works. Your customer service reps dont know what they are doing, or rather do not know when to move the issue at hand to escalations, IT or financial. I decided to pay for a one month subscription , payment went through and I started watching the movie. only for everything to reload and say I don't have any subscription. I then used your support live chat and was messaging Ngozi E, who implied I was lying even though I sent her a screenshot of the email confirmation and bank statement which clearly says iroko tv : $7.99. i tried to follow up with her again the next day she said "please I have forwarded your issues to financial team" and she went on to end the chat. I was being respectful but please either refund my money or ask me again for the confirmation email or my bank statement and stop stealing peoples hard earned money regardless of how little $7.99 is. This is the most unreasonable situation ever, that could be solved if people actually look into what they are supposed to assess instead of acting unprofessional.

Not Working. This app is still not working. If this doesn’t get fixed soon. I will be deleting it and cancelling my subscription.

Very unprofessional and a scam wasted 19$ on this thing. I still have an active subscription and you guys banned me from streaming and even downloading movies this is very unprofessional and I will make sure not to use this app again and others who are considering this app it’s not worth the money.

Stupid app and customer service. Constant error messages and no customer service/support ever. Sent emails and no response, my subscription is still running and am not getting any service. Has no way for you to continue a movie you watched half way. Totally disappointed!!!

Took a subscription fee of $18 without my authorization.. So it’s been over a week since I have contacted IROKOtv in regards to a a subscription fee they took from my account without my authorization but they have failed to refund my money back. To make it worse they cancelled my subscription after it ended the first time but automatically charged my account before the subscription ended and have failed to refund it after multiple attempts at informing them of this issue. Their customer service agents seem aloof at it all. When I first contacted them they said the refund would be on my account in 5-7 business days but it never showed. Then they suggested that I had another account and that was where the charge went to, how can I pay for two accounts at the same time. At this point I am completely fed up and would not recommend anyone to use their direct banking when giving their info. Plus they really need to train their customer service support .

Area of Improvement. I love the movie selection and ratings which help me decide. You should however adopt Netflix capabilities by allowing the user to pick up watching a movie where they may have stopped instead of having them restart and manually forward. Thank you!

So after the update?. You guys should rectify this issue of update, after the update you still can’t log into my account, that’s messed up.

Eli’s Bitters. One of Nollywood’s best. This is the kind of story line one would really appreciate, suspenseful and beautiful. The young lady who acted the part as Biodun’s young daughter deserves an award. She was great!!! Please make more shows like this one. We are tired of love stories. Four wives and a mistress. Useless movie. Speaking Yoruba with no subtitles. Meanwhile you have viewers from different parts of the world subscribed to IROKOtv. Sue for bigamy. When is it a crime to marry more than one wife in Nigeria? Nonsense movie👎👎👎👎

App malfunctioning. Before you purchase wait until all the bugs are updated. The app was working great until they added the shout-out section a few days ago, now it glitches etc. if this continue I may have to cancel the subscription. Hope they get this issue resolved soon.

Update. How do I get back to watch movies I have been enjoying you collection of movies what went wrong

Not compatible with Apple TV. Couldn’t play any movies on the Apple TV after watching it that way for months. I then reached out to customer support for help and they had the nerve to tell me to purchase an HDMI cord and connect my laptop just to watch their films. Not renewing my subscription based off of the stupid update.

AKWUJU, I have been waiting for the next season when is it going to come out?. This is a suggestion y’all need to release at least 5 movies each week because I pretty much watched all your new movies. Thank you and keep doing what y’all think it’s best for your customers. I love IROKOTV

Very user-friendly app. I love Iroko TV app. It is so user friendly. I introduced my friends to it and ever since, they have been glued to it.

Doesn’t work. I just paid for a subscription and I can’t use it on my phone or on my Apple TV. It keeps asking me to subscribe but I have already subscribed. I was looking forward to watching the movies, but I can’t get it to go past this subscribe screen it keeps looping back to.

Unreliable customer service. So I’ve had the subscription payments taken from my account twice, and I can’t even access the videos So ridiculous, and the customer service has been of no help whatsoever

Stuck on Shoutouts Tab. Since the last update, this app is stuck on the new feature, SHOUTOUT. I can’t watch anything, I delete and reinstall the app but it’s still cannot work.

New update is bad. App keeps crashing every time I try to search or watch something!

Highly dissatisfied. This app was really great when I got it years back but now they have this new update that only upload one movie every month, which is not fair because I pay for 3 months subscription and all I get is 3 movies for $16. That’s straight up robbery, and the height of unprofessionalism.

One issue with this app. This app constantly logs me out. I just signed in yesterday and now it’s asking me to sign in again. Very annoying but I love this app otherwise

Will be canceling. This app freezes all the time. Also, you can’t watch downloaded movies on a plane because the app tries to connect to the internet even for downloaded movies. What sense does this make? A lot of people download movies to watch when they have no access to the internet.

Can’t fast forward on Apple TV. Since the last apple update I have not been able to use the fast forward option on my Apple TV... it gets stuck each time I try and is only released when I restart my Apple TV I can watch the movie as long as i don’t try to fast forward or rewind All other devices everything works fine Would appreciate this being resolved soon Thanks

Movies not showing. You posted a few weeks back on IG PAGE THE movie Something fishy that has yet to show on this app.I am paying for one of the reasons to purchased from the UNITED STATES is because of my love for Deza the Great and a few other favorite actors.I maybe canceling soon if movies promoted aren’t able to be seen in the US

Appletv app not playing when paused. The appletv app is getting annoying. We paused, you get resume play until one close the app and relaunch and have to start from the beginning. The closes at every push of the menu button. This need to be fixed.

Over billed. Why am i been charged $14 quaterly and your one year subscription goes for 3000 Naira ... You need to look into this .

App gone poor after a month. So far as you have been able to download it you have to be able to watch it without any interference but with this app no you would hve to get another internet connection to verify the license of the already downloaded movie Secondly it greys out anytime it wishes to and the customer care is very poor. You would delete and download as many times as you can but still this is very boring And there are movies I can’t get too please do something about this before you loose your costumers Thanks

Unable to cast to my Roku TV using Airplay. I used to be able to cast movies on my Roku TV via airplay but this weekend I no longer can cast movie to my Roku TV. I tried everything from restarting my Roku TV to log out of the app. I tried casting other videos to my TV and those other videos are working. Please fix this issue IROKOtv.

Do not purchase. Very difficult to watch. I purchased Apple TV boxes and was still unable to watch. Very upset with them. I did cancel my subscription and it will not renew in may. But from September up to today i have not been able to watch the app

Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The best way to enjoy this app is not AirPlaying and not screen mirroring from your Apple devices but from the IROKOtv app on Apple TV and and it’s been out of date going on 4yrs. It’s glitchy, very buggy and unstable. I’ve been your customer for over 5yrs so please get your app developers to update it.

It Refuses my phone no.. The phone number scheme in Ivory Coast is now 10 digits as against 8 digits. While I can understand that the developers of IROKOtv do not know about this, however I cannot comprehend why the app also refuses my old 8-digit phone number. This has prevented me from signing up and also from using the app.

Frustrating login issues.. Every time I need to use the app I need to login and I hate that because I don’t have my own password. I only have the password they gave me,so every time I want to watch a movie I have to go to my email and copy the password and then login. It frustrating You guys need to fix this glitch.

Time and chance. I love those two together, we need more movies with them together they’re great actors and actress
