Frustrated. I love this app sooo much! I've had it for 4 years now, and it's worked great up until a couple of weeks ago. It started stopping me in the middle of my songs and telling me that something went wrong. I got over it the first couple of times, but then it became every single song I was singing. I haven't been so recent on my song updates anymore because of this. I was trying to sing more today, but I could barely get one done. I really honestly love this app a lot, but I don't see the point of having it anymore if I can't sing one song without being interrupted. I've tried fixing my WiFi, reloading the app, and my phone, but nothing works.

Hard to search for songs. This app is very good except for one thing. When you try to search for a song for example, Old Town Road, it has 4 tabs on the top, All, Songs, Artists, And People. Before, when you clicked the songs tab, you got all the songs that have been uploaded by other people and star maker that have the name Old Town Road. But now, when you click the songs tab, it shows no songs except the ones Star Maker uploaded (which are not even close to the one you want.) When I tried to contact them about it, nothing happened, then it says it can’t email it to them. What!? You should wait till they change it so it’s better then get it.

Dear The Voice,. I love about this game how it supports your voice, and counts your points while your recording your song. Some things have been annoying me tho..you need VIP to sing song songs which is kinda unfair. Most of the songs require VIP which makes me sad, I have to sing some songs that aren’t VIP. That just make me sad about some past updates, I remember how it was just to pick a song and sing with no limits, nothing of VIP. I understand that the company might need money, but it’s all the truth.

Ugh. Stop forcing users to do stuff on the app and just leave their content on the profile page they have alone. This used to be an excellent app for singing until the developers ran everything into the ground by becoming controlling and making users have to spend money in order to keep people following you and vice versa . For example if you arent VIP then you can only follow 1000 people and unless you pay for VIP then you are limited to how many you can add as a follower. Now when i try to go to my content or covers on my profile page they have moved everything that i had recorded somewhere else and this has video and recording from back before my mom died and now i cant find them

Was better before.... Used to be a fantastic app! I would have rated it as the best singing app actually. But then they changed it so you have to pay to sing any song and it’s not real cheap. They also lie constantly with your notifications, saying that you have a new follower when you actually don’t. It’s just a way for them to get you to open the app up. It’s also difficult to see even when your most recent notifications are because all they show you in your notifications tab is what people they think you should add as friends. Literally the only thing going for it anymore is that you get more immediate responses from people on your songs. Other than that, my grade for it has consistently dropped.

VIP. I purchased a monthly VIP package, the money was taken out of my account and it shows on the app that I have subscribed to the monthly subscription however I do not have VIP access. I have sent several emails with screenshots of my receipt of purchase, my user name, of the subscription page showing purchase, and a copy of my confirmation of purchase email. My issue is still not resolved. I have requested information on how to receive a refund for money’s already paid and have received no response.

The latest update damaged the app.. I found the app to be very fun and useful as it had a lot of songs open to sing for everybody and very little songs blocked for only VIP members. My first ever cover was released April 15, 2013, but then I returned to the app 5 years later (April 21, 2018) when I wanted to sing and share my voice with the public. I very much used to enjoy the app because of being able to sing lots of songs without having to pay a membership, whereas its competitor Smule has you pay. Singing on StarMaker has gained me 358 followers and 67 Ranked Records, BUT I had to leave the app and all of my followers DUE TO THE RECENT UPDATE. The recent update made a lot of song closed to only VIP members and very few open to the public who couldn’t pay their prices, such as myself, which was quite the opposite of what it used to be. For that reason, I no longer use the app which saddens me because I loved the app. I would love to sing on the app, but with the restrictions it put, I don’t wish to. When the restrictions are lifted or if something is worked out between the app creators and myself, my review will remain the same.

I would give five stars. Well I been on this app a year or more now and every update brings new issue the tracks are not the quality I need I was vip for a while and now glitching in party rooms freezing shutting down I like u can sing a lot of vip in room I was planning on putting money on to level up my room but if the issues keep getting worse for almost three months we could move admins up and app shuts down on it own have to reset every five min cause when ur typing or sing it freezes I’ve wrote to u guys a lot about the glitches the updates shouldn’t uptaine to one phone version I’m getting really upset and about to go to another app no money no time I really love the party rooms please fix the bugs before I uninstall app I have been patient but the app is really bad right now it was a five star now is a two star I will change my star rating when the app get better thank you for ur time

Honestly I don’t do reviews but I would’ve given it a 5 star. I’ve been using this app for about 10-12 years now...so I know quite a bit about the experiences and changes through the years....loved the app before it was recently updated...can’t use autone when I actually sing..have to wait for it at the end of the song and everything is vip (from reading other reviews it was said that they tried to protect the copy right perspective) but at least add the auto tune back into the song when you actually sing..majority of these reviews are from a year ago and is there going to be any update on when these issues are going to be resolved?...because this is the only kareoke app that makes sense compared to smule (which I use on and off) is there any progress report cuz I would hate to delete the app and I’ve been on it for so long and it’s the best of my era😭

Love love love. Love everything about this app. One suggestion. You should add camera on the parties when you sing so people can see you in the party singing! Also...I can’t live stream...it says not available in my country but I’ve seen other people from my country do it? Not sure what’s wrong but if you could help..that would be awesome! I wish I could rate 5 stars. I wish I could rate this with 5 stars although I’ve noticed this week that I can no longer sing for free.. my grandma passed away a little over a week ago and singing a specific song on here for her was helping my cope then come to see I can no longer sing it. This app has helped immensely with my depression and anxiety and was absolutely amazing! Was the best app ever!! I’m sad to say I will have to find a different app now that will let me sing free, as I loved this app so much... I know you’re able to purchase VIP but unfortunately I would not be able to afford it for a while.. that being said, this app was the absolute best until this update. :(

App is broken. Don't bother. Can't upload the songs I sing. Tried sending screenshot and sending report from app. Not possible to attach screenshot. Tried sending numerous reports to you after 6 months to no avail. Deleted app. I would give zero stars if I could. Seriously don't waste your time. The app is full of bots the majority of your plays on your songs are fake and from said bots. The app is broken. I have no intention of ever coming back to this fake plays and comments you get from all the bots in your app. I've come to the conclusion that only about a handful of ppl on starmaker App are actual ppl the rest just bots. And if you make it to 1000 followers without paying for the app. They stop allowing you to post the songs you work so hard to sing. So I've switched to smule and yes I'm a paid member for that app. You guys screwed me over more than once. I refuse to allow you guys to ruin singing for me. Good bye and good day

Great App!. This app is amazing!!! I am glad that I am able to sing many songs without VIP. But, I want to know if you could add a feature. I have seen that other apps let you make a collab with more than one person. I have also wanted to see if you could add this feature because there are many songs that have more than two singers. For example, many broadway songs have 3 or more singers. And it would be difficult to sing more than 1 part when many singers are singing in one exact time. So could you please add this feature. It would make this app greater in my opinion.

It won't let me sing. ok so this app is by far one of favorites. I'm always using it on my sister's phone which is an iphone 6+. When i decided to finally upload it on my phone (iphone 5) it just keeps glitching. Everytime i open a song, its ok for like 30 seconds and then boom, "something went wrong" i don't understand i have enough storage on my phone and as far as i know, this app is compatible with ios 10?? Please help me

Eh not the best 😒☹️😡😕😔. So I typed in my email to sign up then it said that it sent to my email. I checked it and it wasn’t in there. So then I tried hitting the resend button a bunch of times so it would send to my email. But it didn’t. So I got a little mad because I can’t get into the voice app because it won’t even let me in.” I also got mad because I love singing and it won’t even send a simple email to me so I know how to sign up to get into the game. So I would suggest you to not get the game and try something else. Because the only other way to get in is to sign in by Facebook and I don’t have Facebook. So I’m going to give this a one star because it didn’t take long to download, but I would be giving it no stars. Sorry about the hate of the game but it’s true. It is not the best.😕☹️😒😔😡

Very glitchy. this app offers singing parties, which is like a virtual karaoke room. I queued myself, waited for 30 minutes, then as soon as I started to sing, the app crashed. not only that, the songs that other people sing seem to not load lyrics correctly or stall for a few seconds, confusing the users. I am not the only one who was forced out of the app while singing in parties. for individual singing covers, mine also glitched when I wanted to post it: it listed a "posting error." the in-app feedback is also not able to work, for whenever I try to send what I typed, it says, "error." this is very disappointing.

Best App. To my opinion this app is far better than the others like smule when it comes to followers and loves whilst in smule I only got to get 100 followers in a month and about 1 like in each cover I made although in many I got a A+ but in The Voice App I feel with more strength because people support you and give you what you probably deserve or we need to try best another issue is song recent song are not being uploaded by The Developers nor Users whole in other app I was amazed of how quick uploads where In the song book I hope you resolve this issue soon and upload not only English songs but Latin, Pop, Reggeaton, Merengue and much more. Love the app! Hate the glitch.... I’ve used this app for a month now and i love it to be honest. I really do enjoy the app but the thing is the glitching problem. I’m a lead singer in a room on the voice app and i just entered the room too. I was about to sing and then boom! A message said that i was removed from the room and i messaged the owner of the room about it and the owner told me that the room has been having problems with people getting kicked out or banned from the room. Honestly this app needs a update really bad to be honest in my opinion. I’m just starting to get tired of the glitching problem with this app and being banned or kicked out of the queue for no reason!

Problems. I am having this one super annoying bug or glitch or whatever it is. It doesn’t let me upload songs sometimes or pics to my profile I can’t even change my profile pic sometimes !!! It always says upload failed on many songs I do. Pls fix. I’m really tempted to just delete this app 😞

Paying for subscription and not getting the services. I loved this app. I used it for years. Recently my subscription hasn’t been working. I unsubscribed and re subscribed to see if it would work. The money was taken out of my account and is still not working. Apple support suggested contacting the app developers. I have emailed them about this situation and gotten no response in turn. The phone number listed is not a working number. I give it a 2 stars because I know the potential of this app but the employees and developers do not seem to have a care in the world to fix this situation. (Subscribers not getting the benefits they paid/ are paying for)

Best App Singing App out there - Hands down. However. StarMaker needs to listen to the members. Quit developing stuff we don’t want that only makes you more money. Take care of the glitches and the severe connection issues. And the lack of two way audio in a live duet. And we’ll play all the games you want. And the banners. Get rid of the banners. No one cares. Other than that. Love the app. Been here 4 years. ❤️

Officials involved hacking our individual id when we recharge. When ever I recharge and play games officials from sm are hacking my id so that I loose all my coins and recharge again they don’t have a right to hack my id . Especially these usa officials not fair action need to be taken on this . And the same id I cannot open on another phone as they blocked my id from getting open on other phone so that they can keep an eye on my other id take action against usa offic or you will loose customers like us . I gave you one star because if official behavior. If I ask them they say is default in the system

Poor Sound after updates V 8.18.0. Kindly help me to check why after the update of version 8.18.0 i am facing technical issue where the sound is not at the best and it really dissapoint me for the outcome everytime aftr my singing.. This is unfair. I have been working in this app for more than four years I have sent feedback about my problems several times and my problem has not been resolved, my friends and I have a lot of problems with our account and activities in this app. We texted the administrators of this app like Fatima on WhatsApp and expressed your problems. But they did not solve our problems Replaying only one message for us and that message was about buying diamonds and coins, and when they saw that we were not buying diamonds and coins, they blocked us on WhatsApp Only the administrators of this app are thinking of receiving money to sell gold coin and do not solve users' problems. This behavior of them is very distasteful and so professional Why should they just think that users should buy diamonds from them and not solve users' problems? I can send you a screenshot of my messages and these managers to prove my point.

Glitch during singing problem. This app is good but can be better if you fix the issues , During singing app gets glitch and that’s why recording get skipped from few lines ,im using this app in iphone and still this problem is happening and when we pause the recording and unpause it then recording start from upper line that i already sang because of this the already sunged part get erased , the song didn’t go automatically in drafts if suddenly app gets closed by mistake but smule app have this feature when i record something there then app automatically draft my last track and ask me to continue editing last track but in starmaker there not that feature .last day i sang a song and my i was editing song and writing caption for song but i just locked my device for few minutes but I didn’t closed the app but when I opened the lock the app was on but my recording was gone and that is the biggest problem in this app 👎🏻

Messages. Showing the user online and displaying last seen in inbox messages and family space is not needed for this app. This is a singing app, not a messenger app for communication. Unusual expectations will develop amongst singers with these visible features and cause chaos. Please turn off this feature and let singers focus on singing and stop promoting the spying aspect!

Amazing app but here’s the problem. I love this app I downloaded it 2 years ago and I deleted it to get a new one a few months later I downloaded it again (which is today) and I tried to sing some song that I want to sing and it said I have to do vip the big update is a big bummer 😢. But I will continue to use it…. And support others with there Beautiful VOICE❤️❤️😍 and mine plz make more apps like this!

Amazing app, but the latest update has made changes that are not very positive. I have been in love with this app ever since I found out about it 4 years ago and i’ve enjoyed it’s freedom and music ever since. But the last update has made some very big changes that i do not enjoy to be honest. For instance making all the songs that the voice uploded only for VIP. I do undrstand that having VIPs is a way for you to make money, but a few years ago you did have limitations on the songs that only VIPs could get but those weren’t all the songs. Furthermore, you could always bring back the coins so the users can sings, win coins and buy songs with those, you could have in-app purchaise of the coins and i’m sure that many would use it. Also, you could start getting money for ads. Becuase in my opinion, having ads pop up is better then not being able to sing the songs that you want. It’s simply my opinion that the app was better when we (the people who do not have VIP access) could still sing the songs that are well orginised by the voice without having to pay mothly/weekly price.

Really needs to be fixed.. This app is a lot of fun usually, but since the update none of the songs can get any likes or comments. I have tons of views and shares but no likes or followers. At first I thought perhaps it was just me (which hurt my confidence a little) but then I realized a lot of people are having this same problem. That’s one of the biggest reasons people like this app, is for the ability to share with others and receive feedback. If they don’t fix this problem soon, I’ll probably get rid of this app for a while.

Good quality, overpriced and everything is VIP now. Hi, I’ve been using this app for almost 10 years now and I can say I absolutely loved it before. The only issues I had in the past had to be recording and everything, but thankfully I don’t have a problem with it. The only problem that I had is I sing a lot (a LOT) and a lot of the songs I do like to sing are now VIP only. To people who can afford to pay to sing songs that’s not a problem but to others who like certain genres, I think it’s a bit depressing to not be able to sing because you can’t afford to pay the VIP price. Literally, a month ago the songs that weren’t VIP are now all VIP and it’s just not fun anymore. So overall, nice app but unaffordable for most.

Auto tune. Hi! To start off, I would like to say I love this app! I have so much fun singing on it and getting all the amazing feedback from the users. One thing that has been bugging me though is that the auto tune voice effect is gone from the choices of effects. I always use this one and now that its not on the app anymore, none of my recordings will sound as good! If you guys could put that again, it would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Lost everything. I have had my account for years. I purchased VIP, A FAMILY, A PARTYROOM. I paid for all of this. I was logged off and lost everything that took years. I had almost 10,000 followers. I tried to log back in and it keeps going to an account i never made with nothing on it. I tried all the log in attempts I could. It didn’t work. There is no phone to call. There is only an email you can complain to. I got one response to ask for my profile ID. I sent it and still no response. So I think I’m out of years of spending money on my page. I hope this gets resolved asap. I’m beyond aggravated.

Amazing app. This an a great app with lots of amazing features. There is absolutely no money spent and operates completely free of charge with the same, or more features than other karaoke apps that require you to play. There is absolutely no catch and it you can sing hour after hour. It truly is an amazing app, one of the only problems I have encountered is that the sound quality on some of the songs isn’t great, but that is probably only around 10% of the ones I’ve seen.

So disappointed.! Update after another... I just did the update back to back, now all sudden it won’t let me in my own room! But yet I can do literally anything else in the app’ I can live and go to any room anything at all but my room! It sets in a purple screen loading” and says load error! Fix this rite away! I have goals to meet and people waiting my room is now stuck in ludo cause it won’t let me in!!! Omg it’s seriously one mess up after another, and if one more child tells me to kill” myself I will b Perusing further assistance sense I’ve reported over 100 times and all u seem to care about is making g a harmless singing app, a dating site… it’s not rite there r kinds small children use this app so there for it legally can’t b added to the dating sites! Hints all the lawsuits they have rite now… anyway fix the app I’m tired of the the bugs and crap.

A couple suggestions.... I have the Apple AirPods for iPhone 7 because my wired earbuds no longer work. (Cat chewed right through them) In an attempt to sing a cover of Zach Williams’ “Chain Breaker,” I noticed that the app wouldn’t connect to the AirPods. In your next update, please allow AirPod compatibility. Also, if you could add a way to contact support directly via your website, that would be greatly appreciated. Finally, there’s some sort of road block regarding your talent network application; it’d be helpful if that were fixed as well. Everything else pretty much checks out just fine in my opinion. Best app EVER!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘. I have never had an app where I feel so free this app seriously has no money stuff or anything u don't have to download music the lyrics are awesome there's like millions of songs to choose from and I have never seen 1 nasty comments about anyone in my life. The people on this app are so kind I have had this app for about 3 months and to say the least it is the best app man has ever made and some karaoke apps are hard to understand but this app is so easy. Get it bc I have tried many karaoke apps and they always have some kinda catch but this app does not. U will love it so much!!!!

App Not Working Properly. Whenever I try to open the Starmaker app the title screen just stays put and doesn’t open up the app and I hit the home button to go back to my home screen. When I try to open up the app a second time after I hit the home screen during my first try it just goes closes the app in a few seconds. And every time I want to use the app I have to delete the app and reinstall it and then it works fine and then problem happens again after a little time.

Not worth it. I loved this app at first. A week after using it it made almost every song only available to VIPs. I thought I would try it for a week to see if it was worth it. Now, even following the instructions, i can’t unsubscribe. I thought I had unsubscribed then deleted the app, but just noticed I’ve been getting charged $6.99 a week for months. Re downloaded the app but can’t get on or recover my old account so I’m going to have to call my bank to cancel it or get a new card issued. Terrible experience.

Child predators is a huge issue. Child predators like to come admin’s so they can control kids lives and block people were trying to keep them safe I’ve reported inappropriate messages but I don’t see anything being done I don’t see those people getting banned every time I report I don’t get updates saying they’ve been banned at all so I don’t have to worry about them anymore every time I report it takes too long for them to respond way too long specially when a childIs being used for dirty entertainment in exposing themselves were doing something sexual because they were told to by a child predator this app need to take responsibility of kids safety

Don’t like some updates. I love the app but the new updates have made some changes that I find a bit annoying l. One that specifically bothers me is the fact that I can no longer see the list of all of the songs that are available in the app and that are listed based on genre. I used to enjoy this app more because I could find new songs to listen to and new artists to like. But now, I have to look at the What’s Hot list or the New list and I either don’t like the song or I’ve already sung it. Since this happens a lot I don’t use the app as often because I don’t have many songs that I know and want to sing. If the app had that option from before, I’d probably use it more often.

TOO MANY FAKE ACCOUNTS AND BOTS. I really enjoy doing karaoke and this app is a lot of fun! However, once I post one of my songs, I have too many fake profiles commenting the same things. I’ve noticed that they comment the same things on other profiles too. The fake profiles are really obvious. They use model pictures and it’s not even the same person in the album. Ugh! Makes me wonder if there are any real people using the app. The comments consist of “Wish I could talk to you via message !!” Or “Wow you are singing (song title) so well😜” and “This is my favorite song from (whatever artist).” That is my only complaint. This app is a lot of fun except for all of the fake accounts.

Severely disappointed.. StarMaker has been on my phone for so long that I remember when it went by a different name. When I first got it, VIP didn’t even exist at all, and I could sing anything and everything, and it was so much fun for me in middle school. Now, I understand when they put restrictions on songs uploaded by the official app, but months later, they’ve restricted it even more, so that even songs uploaded by regular users have been marked as “VIP” only to the point where I can’t sing anything I actually enjoy anymore. I don’t care what the reason is for this, it makes the app pretty useless.

Good quality but!!!. The songs are in great quality only one down side I can’t join a party or group room they can never hear me and I can’t hear anyone sing in the group or party not even in live iv tried deleting creating new account lost many uploaded songs nothing seams too work iv updates the app every time there’s an update please someone help me fix this.

The fake comments are always disappointing. Good app, good songs... I do agree with the other person that left a review about the vip songs though, that’s kind of a bummer... the other bummer is when someone comments on your cover, you check it, and see that the comment is super fake. They’ll say “oh, *name of who the song is by* is my favorite singer... even when it’s a band, not a singer, or from a musical, still not a singer, they just kinda disappoint me. One time I got a comment on a song recommending me to sing the same song...

What happened? Nobody can tell me. I reached out to Amgad with regard to my VIP status. I’ve been on the app for two years now, enjoyed it up until this incident. My VIP has been mysteriously removed. I no longer have access to VIP songs or double rewards. Upon trying to repurchase, it states I already have it and it’s good until mid February. Upon trying to restore it, it says I never had it at all. Amgad hasn’t been any help outside of telling me to check check system and app updates and to log out and back in again. I won’t continue spending $17 a month for a status that provides me with nothing if this remains unfixed.

This is a mainly social singing app. Quality of songs are all not good quality , wrong sync of lyrics, some vocals are just poorly cancelled using very poor software, most are just submitted by members. As a social singing app this is excellent but it is so open that a lot of predators and maniacs are using the video sharing to exhibit themselves. Reporting such criminals to administration does nothing but just reporting. And lastly as a member you are always in a situation where your account will be terminated, banned or even hacked by another member . In addition to these I also do not like the multiple accounts they may put in your initial registration. An account which is just a member and cannot join anything. It is very uncomfortable and always in a worry that if your account you develop for so long was hacked or banned. There is no way for you to easily create another valid account unless you reset or buy a new phone and also make new emails. Etc. i put three stars because aside from these worries, it still gives a little bit of enjoyment to your singing hobby

Happy app user. I am very happy with this app and have been a user for about 3 years. but I would love it if there were specific places to look at the genre of music. And also I love that there are so many song and am happy, that more Christian songs have been added if you could please keep adding popular Christian artist. That would be amazing thank you, for your time

Pointless for many reasons. The process of being a “verified” singer is never explained (but it’s something many users want to know), the app cheats you on in-app purchases, and the app developers don’t ever respond with anything beyond a “form letter” when there is an issue or problem (which is far too frequent). Save yourself time and money, and go to Smule. They verify signed artists, their backtracks are all impeccable, you truly can sing with “celebrities,” and now with them having live rooms, I think The Voice And StarMaker will be distinct if they don’t start appreciating their most loyal users (who are their spenders).

I love the app with all my heart, but just one thing. I really love this app because it makes me feel like a idol and is the only thing that encourages me to keep singing. However, I just wish that people would be required to ask the singer’s permission to join their lives and party rooms, because when my notifications pop up saying things like “(this person) is waiting for you to join her/his live” it just makes me feel like no one cares about if I either don’t have time, or have anxiety, or just simply don’t want to. And if you’re gonna call it a party room, have people ask permission to join like a real party would

Bugs. When you go to switch the filter to auto tune, the filter auto tuned not only your voice, but the back track as well. The auto tune filter also doesn’t sound that great. One suggestion I’d make is to include custom settings for each filter, so you can change the reverb, echo, things like that for every filter, and a default button to return to how the filter originally sounded. Just a thought, please reply!

It will be really thoughtful if you decide to put in my idea for the voice because I think the app really needs it For people with and without a premium account there should be another effect for our voice- to put a second voice to make it sound really cool in the main parts of the song Thanks !!

Unprofessional. Zero customer care. I was a regular user of this app until my account was deleted permanently without warning. Upon questioning this action, I was informed that it was due to drug references. My account was deleted because I sang Cocaine by Eric Clapton! There has been no response to my emails since then. Needs more songs!. It's a great app but the song list is so limited it doesn't even have ghost by Ella Henderson. There are also some other songs I would like to be on there like party in the USA by Miley Cyrus because the notes are quite simple but not even that is on there. Please upload a lot more songs and if possible all songs.

Privacy. I have an enquiry about the privacy.. I put my account on private and put my post on private but it somehow managed to get seen by over 50 people...? Unless collabs are made public because i just posted a skit and somehow ppl saw 🙊😔

Why does it have to be social media?. This is social media, and on the iPad, even with microphone and camera enabled, it won’t record my voice, and it won’t video my face! What’s up with that?! Secondly, I can’t sing any Imagine Dragon songs, without having to pay, like, $17 a month! That’s twice as much as my monthly pocket money! Don’t get this if you just want a fun little private singing thing. Apparently all karaoke is social media nowadays. I’m deleting the app. It’s a good app for teenagers though.

I love this app but you could improve the loading time because it takes a bit of time so worried and arm you could also improve some of the songs and what I mean by that is put someone singing some other in some of them you really do you have some people saying but in some of them you don't know it's a bit hard for someone that can't read so having that person that really helps but put all that behind I really really love this app it is the best app ever found the same

VIP. Most of the songs are now vip. I used to sing with the solo option and now it not even available on songs I have recorded before. It should go back to the way it was.

Need fixing. The maintenance you did today needs repairing a lot of people has lost followers and people they’re following . I was filling like 40 something people and now apparently only following 8 and had 100 something followers and now only 8 also and also cannot See notifications at all ..

The Voice. Good app,but I would add and change some things. 1. Add the song Roar,because lots of kids like it 2.In the song The One That Got Away by Katy Perry the app has some wrong word the app says (and on my 18th birthday we got that chain tattoos) but the real words are (and on my 18th birthday we got MATCHING tattoos) But other wise good app like how you can sing to all different songs, BUT it would be even better with the things I have I wrote in this review!

Pls consider this. Making a Voice kids app Kids aren’t always allowed to use social media and this app has amazing songs but you get cut off from all the good stuff if you don’t send out live! This app used to be free for everyone, I know that because the copyright it change a lo but you just get this reason to defend for you making more money, there are a lot of songs that’s wrong beat with title, wrong lyrics, poor beat still be marked at V.I.P, I recharge for being V.I.P because I want to see my other friends and sings with them in rooms but no one there anymore, a bit sad. But I still sing outside but I recharge not for seeing you just make money on us by that way. Amazing! Must download!. I love this game. I have found that it works a million times better when you use head phones with the mic built into them. I have an iPhone 5 and without head phones, it struggles to pick up my voice. But chuck a set of head phones in, and it is the most amazing app ever! If you love singing, this is the perfect game! I cannot stop playing! I LOVE IT!

Fix this.. Been using this for years, suddenly literally every good song is locked and i can’t even use the app. Bought a subscription for VIP. Paid money. Never got the VIP. Can’t get a refund. Please fix this - i’ve wasted my money for nothing all because 99% of your songs are locked behind a stupid pay wall. Would request either a refund or drop the free/paid ration to 50/50. 🙄

All you do is hit the right notes and a waste of space. So you have to hit the right notes and get to so many points to have one coach to turn around and they don't have names or faces when the least they could do is let you make up your own and then they could change the order of turning around. Now for the second thing. It uses all your space. So lets cut to the chase. This is a good game for people without any or not many apps and basically just love love love to sing

Heaps of bots and downgrade of the app.. I am deleting this app because in my opinion (mine alone) it used to be better. I have garner over 500+ followers over two years. As a user, I felt as though the comments from my song postage are filled with bots. My followers majority consist of bots whom does not have a recording of their singing in their profile, even if they do, it does not remotely sound like the person in their profile pic. I thoroughly enjoyed the karaoke sessions with strangers whom became my friends later on. However, it has come to light that people who own these rooms compete to improve their room’s rating which in turn allows you (developers) to promote ads. I am done. Thank you for your services for the past few years. But I am done. Good luck to those who are verified. Bad luck to those whom are swamped by the vast amount of users to make a break. Oh and breast. Good Job But Need A Few More New Songs.... Good job in creating this app 👏👏 but there is one more problem... We need a few more songs! App isn’t working!. Won’t let me access the app! If you click on the app it comes up for 3 seconds and switches off back to home screen. I even updated the app and my phone and switched it on and off and it still doesn’t work. Also I think majority of the so called fans on the app are bots.

Music not delivering to the speaker after Bluetooth connect.. I downloaded two years agin StarMaker and suddenly from my two phones music not delivering to the speaker. But recorded music delivered to the speaker. Please advise how do I deliver this music to the Bluetooth.

Meh.... Sound quality and backing vocals are great for the eight bars that I was able to sing. But seriously, signup to hear recording? Subscribe for access to more songs? For an additional cost you may even get to keep the small portion of the recording that you can't use anywhere anyway. Target margin is vulnerable young kids and The Voice is nothing but a moneymaking machine. It would be nice do you see this app entirely free.

Ok but.... I love this app and it works amazing but when a new song comes out it dose the have the song. I waited a couple weeks and the song still wasn’t there. Currently I have found a bunch of new songs I would love to sing but I can’t because they are not on there. Other than that I highly recommended this app for anyone who really loves to sing.

Not as good as it used to be. I've had this app for a while now, I've absolutely loved using it, but this app is not as good as it used to be. I enjoyed the app more when it was the voice and you had to sing to get judges to turn around, that was fun! Nowadays, it's literally just another social media platform, and another issue with this app is literally every single song and artist I want to sing (5 Seconds of Summer, Bruno Mars, Imagine Dragons, Panic! At The Disco, etc.) are VIP, and i can't afford to pay VIP monthly, this app was tons better when there wasn't VIP. Please just make 95% of the songs that are VIP, not VIP. Crash trouble. Hi, just downloaded the last version today and every time I try to record and then post, app crash at the last second. Lost 5 songs like that. I have to save it first in draft, then try to post, then it’s not working but it’s letting me try again. Then it works. But if I don’t do that I lose the complete song. Please fix that. VIP is not working. I use this app everyday since nearly a year, and I love it. But, on the 17th of November 2019, I paid to be VIP, and TWO DAYS later I still don’t have access to VIP songs, and moreover it don’t appear on my profile. (I have the proof) I have my receipt on the 17th of $21,49+taxes for the 1 month’s subscription. It would be appreciated that someone take that in charge, or I will want my money back.

Shure mic uploads cracking. Unable to record a song with my shure USB microphone unlike before. The recording cracks up after saving/uploading! There is no way to contact customer support with this issue

Money Grab. this was easily my favourite app of all time. However, they changed most song to vip access only. Essentially they wanna charge you a ridiculous amount to sing songs you can find online for free. It used to be a limited selection of songs for vip, but now it’s almost every one. I am very angry, because when the app allowed you to sing a large selection of songs without being VIP it was amazing. 😡😡😡

What is everybody’s problem?. This app seems quite good. Even though many songs are not free I still get a chance to sing many songs. It gives me a score for most songs. There is auto tune and other effects. Even though I don’t use them.

I didn't get an sms. I've tried everything. I just got a new phone so I installed the app again and entered my number. But I never got any sms code. Also, the auto tune filter is crap. I used to use it and it sounded fine, but ever since the update it sounds absolutely terrible. It's super shaky and always off key.

Stop vulgar collab joinings. Dear app maker I have been active on this app for the past 2 years and really enjoy the available tools to improve my singing. However, there has been various cases of abuse and harassment on this app which have ranged from minor fights to full blown romantic scams. One of the recent examples have been a repulsive and deplorable act by a male who joined a video collab started by a female and filmed himself masterbating. How can an app maker allow this to happen where they are targeting people of all ages to enjoy this app? Why does the app not have any built in controls to thwart any of these shameful acts by allowing the collab initiator to preview and decide before making any collabs public? In public interest, I request you to initiate tools and policies that can stop this abusive behaviour and retain the quality and beauty of this app.

Network Connection Problem. I can’t connect or going on room or take a look at my profil they say that i have a problem of connection. I delet the apps i download it again and now i cant connect in the apps....

Loved it, but removed some songs I wanted to sing. Okay, I’ve used this app for months now, and I seemed to like everything, but ever since an update came and I updated this app, some of the songs that I sang before in my profile aren’t available anymore. The songs don’t come up each time I search for it, and the song was there before, but now it’s just not. All and all, it’s still nice to sing available songs on this app.

This is a really good app. I highly recommend this app if you love singing, there isn’t a lot or any glitches in it. It is really fun. It gives the lyrics of the song when you sing and it also rates or gives you points for singing. I really enjoy it, last thing... barely any adds!!!😝

This app would be awesome IF. I really like the app and I would love it a lot more if only it didn’t crash as often as it does. I regret paying my hard earned money for an app that just doesn’t work as it should. All my recorded songs constantly disappear from my profile. I’ve written support about this issue twice but to no avail. It’s frustrating to record a song only to have it disappear but yet others can still see it. It makes replying to comments impossible.

Love the app except this one glitch that is EXTREMELY annoying. I love the app even though I’ve only been using it for about a week. I noticed that my points haven’t been calculating. For example, I’ll be singing and it glitched and just goes up and down even when I am not singing. This makes it very hard to get an accurate grade on ur singing. Also sometimes when I upload a video the cover picture that I put on it doesn’t show up. Anyway it’s a good app overall. Not Very Interactive. I do not like the fact that adding pictures for new songs (slideshows) changes the pics added for songs that have already been posted. The app would be much more enjoyable if you did not have to worry about your slideshows changing for posted songs. It would also be more enjoyable if you were able to choose different slideshows for different songs.

Good only if you buy VIP. I got this app 4 years ago, and it was so much better back then. Now it seems they only care about the VIP users. I don’t even think VIP is even a good deal because they only have weekly, month by month, or 3 months plan. I think VIP would only be a good deal if they have one flat out fee, with in app purchases, or go back to the users earning tokens when they sing to buy song. Until this happens, I’m not a fan of this app.

Use to be a good app....not anymore. Before i would had given this app a 5 star since this app use to be a good app before almost every song became VIP. Seems to only be a money racket now. I can't sing songs without being VIP. Also, i have not been able to follow anymore users for over a year now. This app has really went to the dogs. TheVoice app is gone. Now ran by a China based tech company using Chinese business ways. TheVOICE Should not be partners with StarMaker any longer. Using scams and deceit to generate revenue. The app as run now is as far away from the theVoice as possible. Money is what drives this app. Popularity that is for sale by buying gifts. App full of fake profiles, that post fake comments and become your fake followers. Sends fake notifications using names of the few real people you do follow. Sends anonymous notifications trying to guilt and trick you into trying live singing rooms, "it really hurts you never join me live.""gifts are waiting for you".

Update made app slow. It takes 5+ seconds to transition to different areas of the app. I like the app overall, but this will need to be addressed and the support link does not work here in the App Store. I have an iPhone X Will update rating when corrected. Thank you

It’s a good singing app I’ve been using it for three years now but i just updated it and every time I update it the app deletes auto tune and the other filters are kinda wonky or some work and some don’t all in all the other filters all sound the same besides auto tune and grunge I thinks that the name but I think you should try and make them sound more different

Loved the app until it stopped working. I have to pay and I also have to sing along with someone else. 2 years ago, I was able to pick just solo and sing along with the song myself. I was hoping that there is a way you could maybe change all that to the way the app used to work. I loved singing with the app, but now I have to pay and I have to find someone to sing with and the app will say,” No one has picked this song to sing”. Thank you so much for reading this letter.

Fun App for karaoke singing. o seeing at night after I get home from work. I justmy headphones pick a good song but I want to sing in go to a party room and have fun with other folks good thing about this app as it does have different microphone effects you can you so you can somewhat change your voice with reverb and echo in those sort of things

Missing Songs. When I started using this app, I could find an almost endless list of songs when I searched for a certain thing, but now for some reason everything is gone. I only have a very small list of options when I search for certain things and it’s ruined the app for me. I loved being able to find the songs I loved on here and now I can’t find them at all.

Addictive but. I really love..love this app however for some reason there seems to be a limit to how many people you can follow. I am following about 1.7k however I have seen other profiles with far more(over 2k). Can you please tell me what I need to do to fix this? Is there a work around? Or how I unfollow people; the list has disappeared.

Amazing app!. I’ve had this app for 5-6 years now and it has never let me down. The quality is great and the people are so nice and supportive. I definitely recommend getting this app if you love to sing and enjoy getting feedback from others. It’s so much fun!

Loved it, but.... I love this app. I have many songs recorded here and I’ve been a part of this community for years. However, in this latest update, I noticed that you got rid of auto tune. This was something I enjoyed using a lot and one of the main reasons why I downloaded the app. I couldn’t find any similar apps and yours was the one to beat. I might be using this app less frequently now because of this change. :-(

It try’s to make me buy 60 coins!!!!. I think it is a pretty cool and fun app, but recently every time I go onto the app, it try’s to get me to buy 60 coins. It won’t let me off of that screen until I buy 60 coin. No matter how many Times I delete the game, and then get the game back, it won’t let me do anything. The game has never done this before and I hope that they can fix StarMaker because I really like the app and it is fun.

This app has worked for me, but now it doesn’t. This app has been a go to ever since I heard about it, but I posted something a few hours ago and it is telling me not one single person has liked it yet, but around this time I normally have around 30 likes, I don’t know if it is a glitch, but I’ve tried everything and it won’t work.

Time to find a new app.. I used to LOVE this app. I switched from the one I had to this one because I was able to sing an unlimited number of songs of various genres. This was my go-to to unwind and sing my heart out without any restrictions. Now I go in, and now with EVERY song you have to pay to be a VIP, or join a collaboration. I don’t think I would mind paying for it, but the prices are outside of what I’m willing to pay for, for ANY payment plan they currently have available. Time to find a new app.

Updates ruined the all. This app really bonded me with my friends and family we would always challenge each other and it was super fun. But no the updates swept all the fun away and half the good songs u need to pay for and battle mode is now gone. Battle mode was kinda like “collab” but I got the grades for each person and it was super fun. But then a few years ago the voice took it out and I was devastated. I still love this app but I wish t stayed the way it was. :(

"Report". I love the voice, but alas the coins frustrate me. I want to be able to get my own room but it costs so much coins I wish there was a way to get coins other than "In App Purchases" or someone giving them to you. Maybe like if you reach a certain level you can get different amounts of coinage. Or if you think it is to easy what about if you reach A+ or A++ to get coins. You can keep the app purchases cause I get that it is your money source. I do not yet have my own money in my Apple account, so I can not purchase it but I have lots of fans. Used to love it...now it’s horrible. This used to be one of my favorite apps due to the amount of good quality free songs but now you’re just like all the other apps....being all about money. Needing to make a profit is one thing but taking every single song that used to be free & now making it a requirement to pay for VIP for almost anything at all is ridiculous!!! You’re gonna lose a lot of users due to this change. Close to deleting the app myself! 😡

Was better before.... I’ve had this app for about 6 years and at the beginning majority of the songs were FREE... but this past year they have been making more of those FREE songs unavailable, you would either have to do a duet with someone (which no one really does) or join VIP, which costs money that I don’t have. I used to have a blast on this app but now it’s just boring. Plain and simple, if they want more people to keep their app they should be less greedy and let people sing more songs.

I mean it’s fine but not fine. I’ve been trying all day to find a Karaoke app I got in and it right away popped up Facebook or google gmail sign in I don’t have either so all I could do was sing songs listen to them and delete them I couldn’t even save them to my photos I wouldn’t recommend getting this if u don’t have Facebook or a gmail account on google I hope you change that it’s free

No real people on this app, all bots. I’ve always used Smule until I found this app. I think it’s OK. It has tons of song choices which is awesome and it also has a really cool feature to sing karaoke live in parties with other people around the world. Something that bothers me is that 99% of your followers, views, and comments are not real people so it’s very hard to follow actual singers unless you meet them in the parties. Another thing that’s annoying is you cannot hear yourself through the headphones while you sing like in Smule.

Can you let me save my songs. I’ve gotta be honest, this is the absolute best karaoke app on the AppStore, but I have a suggestion for the next update: can you please make it so that you can post, draft, or “SAVE TO CAMERA ROLL”? That would be awesome, so please consider it. I’m leaving you with 5⭐️ because other than that, it’s perfect, this is just a suggestion. Have a nice day, bye!

Disappointed. I used to love this app. I actually stopped used Sing! By Smule to use this app, but most of the songs are paid subscription now. That’s all well and good, but $7 a week?? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I switched back to Sing! As they’re only $3.21 after tax a week. Shame because I like the features on Voice better but I will not pay this much just to sing, its dumb

Issues with trying to sing a song. I really love this app but I don’t like the fact that it’s been having issues. Every time I try to sing a song it says there was a problem please exit the recording. It’s not with every song but it’s with most of them. It’ll load to about 42% and stop and make me exit the song. It’s annoying that I can’t even sing a song that I really want to sing. Please fix this

I love this app!!. I have been on this app for about four years! And this app really did helped me a lot Far as improving on singing and pronouncing words lols. I totally remain.. to anyone that loves to sing and doesn’t want to spend money on a personal vocal coach this app is it right here 🥺🥰

Not impressed anymore. I used to love using the app and singing. Here recently though alot of the songs I used to sing that were free are now vip songs. It's very expensive in my eyes to get vip especially when I'm a mechanic and don't sing for a living. I used to enjoy it and as painful as it is to say I do not anymore and I will be deleting the app here very soon. Thank you for your work on the way app it was fun while it lasted and appreciate it.

Everyone getting charged different. I have had the app for a while and I absolutely love it. I have made some amazing friends that I call family on here. My only down pour for this app is that they charge everyone different for VIP! I pay 6.99 for mine while one of my friends pays 2.99. How unfair is that?! Whose to say someone else isn’t paying an arm and leg while others aren’t! This needs to be fixed or I’ll tell everyone that yall screw over good people! And to not use your app! This is horrible! I thought everyone pays the same! It should be fair!

How to delete uploaded photos. Hi! First of all I would like to say I love this app so much! I accidentally uosded a photo from work to my page and can’t find a way to delete it even after I click edit photos, it clicks it but there’s no option to delete it or any way to edit it after that.

Love it, but.... I’m in love with this app. So many good songs to choose from, and the sound quality is better than I expected. The only thing that I don’t like is that you can’t save your song to your device. 😔 Do you plan on fixing this, or do you always not have this capability?

Really??. Now I understand that you have to make money somehow, and the VIP is a good idea, and I’m not sure who is responsible for making songs VIP locked. Also I’m not really sure where to ask this through the app itself. When looking through songs by The Score, almost every song was listed as VIP except two songs both “Money Run Low”. As I said before I understand that you must make money, but to list an entire band/artist as VIP is just insane and seems like a money grabbing tactic without any concern for other users who either can’t, or who are too young to purchase VIP status.

Mixed review. I've been using The Voice karaoke for a couple years now and I love it. But on the iPad it WILL NOT allow me to join a party or queue up for it and it's insanely annoying! I can record everything else on the iPad (I do also have problems with the video recording) but I can never join a party. I'm tired and annoyed of not being able to participate in some contests and fun karaoke sessions with others and as much as I love this app it's beginning to feel like a nuisance. PLEASE FIX ASAP, IM SUCH A SUPPORTER

Don’t download. I have sang a song but ever since I write that song I have been getting weird notifications it’s telling me that they love me and they have been calling me baby and stuff and sending me kissing emojis and for anyone 9+ and under should not come in this game... WARNER YOU!

Screen freeze. This app was great but since the update the screen constantly freezes or u get booted. Its worse when your song freezes live. It was much smoother at first. I email the customer service and they told me to send a screen shot of the issue and what model phone. It’s been happening to every person in my room. Please tell me what good it would be to take a screen shot of a frozen screen. Lol They have plenty of $ to be made and don’t care I suppose.

What happened??. I tried to record another song on the app today, but when I clicked on a song it told me I have to pay to sing songs. I’ve never had this issue before and it’s kind of annoying now. I have no money to pay for this. Please fix this so that o can go back to recording songs without having to pay for it to be a VIP member. I really enjoy using this app and I want to be able to use it without paying for everything.

Ugh. To say the least I like the app but now it was fine but it keeps popping up a thing and it keeps saying this is a vip song and u have to upgrade to use it and that’s kinda dumb bc what if people can’t buy vip and they want to do that specific song and it won’t let them and literally none of the songs say vip on them if this is a bug plz fix and then will be willing to rate 5 stars

Lost Its Former Glory. I switched to this app from the original StarMaker karaoke app because I liked this one better. However, the things I liked about it are no longer there. For example, I can’t sing any Voice official songs without being a VIP, which severely limits my song options. The user-made songs usually frustrate me because the lyrics don’t line up with the music, or the music just isn’t right. I don’t have the money to spend on VIP, and without access to VIP songs, I don’t find the app as enjoyable anymore.
