Easy and elegant. I used this apps since 2014, what I like this apps is, you can erase the pdf form and edit. They upgraded it that allows you to sign. Hopefully more upgrade that you can type any word aside from you can your pdf using any pen. And also I like most is you can grab your picture or your pdf vice versa to become a jpeg...thank for this great apps...very helpful and easy to use even the scanner is so clear.

Great app. Flexible. Good export options.. This is a solid app. The scanning process is smooth. The ability to scan book pages and correct for page curvature works well. You can’t insert a scanned page — your scan is by default moved to the end but you can drag the page to the desired location. The rudimentary highlighter is handy to mark important sections for later review. The export function is also adequate. You can sign a document (great) but you can’t insert notes and OCR. I would pay (in-app) for leading OCR engine and ability to add notes as I read and scan.

This app is slick!. One of my #1 apps on my iPad. I have used FasterScan for years! Scan and store or print from it! Nothing is easier! Love love love!

bug. skip scan page only skip the next page while keeping the page you intend to skip. latest update also incorporated advertisment other than the bug mentioned above, best scanner app among few others I've used.

It’s always worked for me. Very satisfied.. Have used FasterScan for quite a few years now. I enjoy the option of paying for a fax or whatever added cost there might be as needed. Versus a subscription-based service. I just don’t send that many faxes to do that. I’ve made a lot of money with FasterScan. Haven’t even looked for another option.

Rick whitener. I lost all my important scans when you changed to the new one. The old one wasn’t able to work with the iOS at the time. Otherwise I like the program very much.

Buy the upgrade and backup data. It ha sheen mentioned it is possible to accidentally delete the app, have to reset your phone due to iPhone issues, loss of phone etc.... There is an “easy” fix to this: Back up to iCloud, google drive, Dropbox, box, Evernote, and OneDrive is supported... they intend you to buy the full version for $5 and be able to email yourself your data or back it up to cloud.

My scanned docs. Hi. This scanner is great. One problem is it didn’t upload to iCloud and no I can’t find my scanned files. Do I need to subscribe to get access to them? They we’re important docs. TY

I wish I could give it more than one star. I scanned a lot of legal documents today. I saved them in a encrypt folder for safe keeping while they are in the app. Once done I saved a copy in the iCloud. I then tried to open them and it asked me for the password. I don't know the password. I saved them in a folder that I created long ago and forgot the password. I was able to open it because it uses face recognition to open it. I deleted all the documents, went back to the folder, moved the documents from the encrypted folder to a none crypt folder. I then saved another copy in the iCloud folder. I tried opening the document and it they were encrypted still. I can not have that. I must have the ability to share those documents with others without encryption. No buts about it! How can these people add encryption to an app without including a function to un-encrypt the document(s)? Makes no sense! Sad because this is one of the best and faster scanners there is. But I can't understand how it does NOT use the iCloud to back up and synchronize documents. WTH! It allows you to use other cloud services, Box, Drop Box, and the like. Another WTH! Oh, and I have not been able to find a way to delete folders and documents that have been encrypt and you no longer know the password to them. There are a few other bugs but I’ll save those for a future review.

FasterScan. This is a great App to make PDFs. Just take pics, select, edit and convert them into crystal clear pages of complete books into PDF format. I’ve made dozens of books into soft copies right on my phone. Excellent App, highly recommended.

Needs. Only thing missing is the search option

Love everything about it!. I have had this app on my phone for 10 years! The amount of info at my fingertips comes in handy on the go! Photos, recipes, insurance card all in one place. I have four kids and it comes in handy when I need to send them documents quickly.

Quick and easy, for the most part.. I’ve been using this app now for several years and the simplicity is what keeps me going. I mainly only use the basic options as all I do is copy/scan black and white documents. Being able to categorize everything in folders is a plus. The only issue I’m running into now is that I am using it more and more and to find a specific document I have to spend extra time scrolling through a particular folder- if I’m even looking in the right folder. Would be five stars if there was a search option to filter for documents. Other than that- simple, easy and it just works.

Really great app. FasterScan is very user friendly. It’s very easy to use. They also make it easy to keep your documents organized by allowing you to create folders that can also be locked so that no one can access the files within it. You are also able to buy access to a cloud server so you can have access to all your files from multiple devices. However, it is not required to use the app. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to keep their documents organized and safe.

Devastated, sad and very angry that no one warned me. I’ve used this app for the last few years and if recommend it to friends and family. Stupidly, I didn’t back up of the documents thinking they were secure within this app. Recently I noticed that I must have accidentally or inadvertently deleted the app, though I don’t really know how that occurred. I put the app back on via the App Store and noticed all of my documents from the last few years are gone. Completely deleted and I am devastated. I lost a lot, a lot, a LOT of important data!! I search the frequently asked questions and I search the Google for any help in recovery, and amazingly, I couldn’t find one sentence of help. Please, if anyone knows if there’s any possibility of recovering my documents, please let me know how to go about doing that. Someone should’ve warned me about the possibility of deletion if one accidentally deleted the app. Again, I don’t know how it even got deleted! Best guess is I must’ve hit the little X when I was trying to take a picture or something as iPhone is fickle that way sometimes. Very very upset with this company and will be warning all of my friends and family.

Poor Support. Poor features. Poor upgrades. Below is a copy of my email to the app maker. Don’t use them! If you’re planning to buying, beware. If I had to do it over, I would never had bought it AND upgraded to a plus version. “To Whom It May Concern: I’ve had FasterScan for 3 years at least. I even upgraded to FasterScan+. Your company kept pushing for features like faxing, DOCT, and changing app that confuse people. I opened my FasterScan + tonight and the app told me to download FasterScan that is the new app and transfer my documents and license. After I followed the instructions, all my scans were GONE!!! Neither apps has my scanned documents anymore!! And don’t tell me to go to back up and reload like one of you did when I contacted 2 years ago because reinstalling app after changing to a new phone did not bring me back my old documents. Easy and Efficient. Used this app for all of my closing documents when purchasing my home. They were clean and professional.

Faster Scan HD is FANTASTIC. Want to get rid of papers that stack up. Quickly scan even a stack. YOU name the file as you want. You can even email the scan in PDF form to your email box and keep it in a file. You can keep all payments to a certain place together. You can keep your childrens report cards for each year and never lose a memory, just the paper! You can scan your will and keep it on several devices easily, or even email it to your executor. I have been using it for years!

Trash. This app is trash. If you scan something, once it makes the file, it’s there for good. You can’t move it to a new folder, so if you want your file somewhere else, you’ll have to delete it and scan it all over again. There are plenty of apps that do this basic file management stuff right, but FasterScan somehow messed it up. The UI is also garbage. Most apps use the same UI elements from iOS, but FasterScan makes their own icons. How about instead of copying the first result from Google for your buttons, copy them from iOS? It’s not rocket science.

Unreliable. I had this for a long time and loved it. I had several scanned documents stored in here, thinking this app was trustworthy. They deleted every one of my scanned documents. It was useful, I loved it, but I can not recommend it. It deletes your files without warning. I’m deleting this app. But what do they care.. they have enough 5 star ratings from the people whose stuff they haven’t deleted.

One of the best apps I have. Scan a document, then print, or file on my phone for later preference. This app allows to store scanned documents in regular letter size and others. I can email the scans with the paid version. Awesome

Very convenient. It is easy to take pix of docs, etc. you can crop each page as you take it, and continue to take more pix as one doc. You can adjust shading and color.

Great App for filling out documents, and converting pictures to PDF. Great app for saving paper when needing to fill out documents. Or converting pictures of paper documents to PDF, very versatile for whenever you’re on the move and don’t have access to a computer.

Lost years of docs. I used this app for years, storing all my most important docs here. But when they recently had an iOS update, all my docs were gone, with no way to extract them from the older version of the app. I had missed the opportunity to export them, not realizing they’d be gone forever - no tool, no workaround. Gone. I will never again buy an app that doesn’t store data files in an accessible, external file location and format. And I wouldn’t spend another dollar on a vendor that doesn’t provide a way to recover your precious data. I complained and got a shoulder shrug.

Good app. Been using this app for about a week and it works really well. No problems & easy to get good pics and also easy & effective at adjusting light/dark, etc. I would recommend this app!

Excellent software. It is very easy to scan a document, frame it and then save it. It let me upload it to my network drive over the internet as JPEG or PDF. The scanned document has a very good resolution.

Rate this app for rigorous accurate scans. This app enables accurate scanning with adaption to curvature etc in a way that gets me high quality when when it matters to me. I use other scanning apps at times, but when I need accurate, high quality, this is where I go.

I HAD an issue with the photo album function. Support showed me the proper setting to fix it prompt enough for me to say 'wow' nice support turn around time :-) ... this may not be the case all the time .... maybe. The app is FASTER then my other scanner apps. The interface is clean, is not busy, and most controls are at the bottom = good! Two thumbs up! Try it. But try the free version first to see if you like to support them.

Great but Exporting could be smoother. For some reason to export via some formats you need to save to picture first. The programs works pretty well to make the pages look square and there are some editing tools to tidy up the shadows. These could be better as you have to choose between colour and black and white to be able to fully clear the shadows. Perhaps a few more edit tools beside light and colour density would be useful. Otherwise great app that i use all the time. Great to be able to save in the app.

Fantastic App. I have this app on both my smart phone and iPad. I use it at least once a week and have done so over the past 5 years. It is so handy, and easy to use. Live that I can choose whether to convert scans to joegs or pdf's for sending documents. This is one of my most favourite apps!

Pas de recadrage automatique parfait, ce qui fait perdre du temps puisqu'il faut l’ajuster manuellement si on veut un résultat propre. . Lorsqu’on télécharge plusieurs scans en même temps, un seul document est généré plutôt que de zipper les fichiers pour les recevoir individuellement tels qu’ils ont été scannés. Le reste est parfait et toutes les options sont là : organisation, partage, téléchargement...

Practical and easy to use. User friend, pratique and effective software with free option and paid/affordable option too. Clear image quality depending on the quality of your camera I will presume. The only con is the fact that secure file give you no option to recover your password

Works well. I especially like the fact I can enlarge the screen to read small text. I also like the fact I can edit with the colours and save the changes. Works very well.

Good App But Old Style Software. This is a pretty good app for ‘scanning’ pages, documents and converting them to PDFs. There are some issues with page edge detection, it’s not always the best and certainly not terribly smart, but it has a nice system for manually adjusting the boundaries, including four curved pages. Overall, the app is good, but the main problem I see is that over the years the developer is not updated the software they use. This app now takes almost 200 MB of space on your device, compared to developers that use more current tools and have similar and even more sophisticated and full feature apps ‘scanning’ apps that only take 20 MB of space on the device. I have over 80 apps on my phone, and this app is the 2nd largest (not counting any data). So if storage space on your device is not even the slightest concern, I would recommend this app; however, if you’d like to take a lot of pictures or videos, or your storage is getting full, definitely get one of the other scanning apps.

This is a good one!. Good functionality.

Used to be good. Quite simply this app used to be great. Greed and a lack of care have probably ruined it as it never seems to work as well anymore. My main issues: 1) pro features being anything other than emailing PDFs. 2) emailing taking huge amounts of time to work. Most of the time not working. 3) ads and other annoying pop ups that make this app less usable — again NEW features that didn’t used to exist. Miss the old FasterScan. Will probably switch over to Adobe’s app.

Upgrade removed all files. I was forced to upgrade this app and all my data was gone. This is not standard update behavior. Very disappointed.

Deleted all my data. I updated the app and it deleted all the data I had on it. Unbelievable. I have to find it other ways now. Looking for an app that won’t delete my information. In the meantime I’m using Notes on my iPhone as the best alternative as it doesn’t delete the documents and information I saved.

App crashes. Need help!! After the update I can no longer open the app. I open it and it immediately closes. I can not afford to delete the app because I don't want to lose my files! Help please!!
